Handsome, handsome, chatting with friends on the handsome pod. Chatting with friends on the handsome pod. Pretty little episode.

• 1:49Tig Notaro?

  Hi.

• 1:50Speaker 01

Welcome to the handsome pods. Pretty little episode.

• 1:55Tig Notaro?

Yeah, I was excited to get in there. So sorry, I.

• 1:59Speaker 01

  No, we're both so excited.

• 2:01Tig Notaro?

  T-boned you.

• 2:02Speaker 01

  Listen, I love a T-bone. How's it going, bud?

• 2:05Tig Notaro?

  It's going well.

• 2:06Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 2:07Tig Notaro?

Going well, you know, just trekking through Star Trek.

• 2:11Speaker 01

Trekking through it. You're gonna get to come home for the holidays, yeah?

• 2:15Tig Notaro?

Yeah, I'll be home for like two and a half weeks, um, which is exciting.

• 2:21Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 2:22Tig Notaro?

You know, Santa and what have you. What are you doing?

• 2:25Speaker 01

We're taking a little, um, vacation. We're gonna go to, um, Aspen.

• 2:32Tig Notaro?

  Mm hmm.

• 2:32Speaker 01

And then also just spend time chilling.

• 2:36Tig Notaro?

Do you have friends or family in Aspen? Or are you just going the two of you?

• 2:40Speaker 01

No, it's a group of friends that are going. So we're. Yeah, do that. So we don't usually do big, big group trips, but.

• 2:50Tig Notaro?

  Are you gonna ski?

• 2:51Speaker 01

  They're all skiing. I don't know. I'm not, I don't know how to ski.

• 2:57Tig Notaro?

  You've never skied?

• 2:58Speaker 01

Not since I was 12 and I was going down the bunny slope and I slid right up onto another woman's skis. And she kept going, make a pizza, make a pizza. And I was like, I love pizza.

• 3:11Tig Notaro?

Did you not know what she was talking about?

• 3:15Speaker 01

She's like, with your skis, make a pizza.

• 3:20Speaker 01

And I slid right up on her and.

• 3:22Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 3:23Speaker 01

And I said, I don't know how to stop. She's like, clearly.

• 3:27Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 3:27Speaker 01

I just, yeah, when it comes to like skiing or like water, like water skiing, snow skiing, wakeboarding, any of that kind of stuff, I'm not very coordinated.

• 3:39Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 3:40Speaker 01

  Do you ski?

• 3:41Tig Notaro?

I did, I used to, and then I, um, transitioned to snowboarding.

• 3:48Speaker 01

Hmm, that's the cool one, isn't it?

• 3:51Tig Notaro?

I think so. I mean, I enjoyed skiing and then as soon as I started snowboarding, I was like, what was I doing skiing?

• 3:58Speaker 01

Also skiing requires a lot of clothes and equipment and I don't love that.

• 4:05Tig Notaro?

Well, I mean, you have to wear clothes also when you're snowboarding.

• 4:09Speaker 01

  I'm clumping these in together.

• 4:12Tig Notaro?

  Okay, okay.

• 4:13Speaker 01

I just mean like, I want to be at the lodge.

• 4:16Tig Notaro?

  Mm hmm.

• 4:17Speaker 01

Drinking something by the fire. That's me.

• 4:20Tig Notaro?

You know, speaking of having to use a lot of clothes, my friend and I, uh, years ago in Colorado, we decided to go skiing, do night skiing.

• 4:32Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 4:32Tig Notaro?

Uh, which is really cheap, but we didn't have, um, any ski clothing or anything. And I had a box of, uh, this was my really great idea, but a box of clothes I was going to donate.

• 4:50Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 4:51Tig Notaro?

And so we put layers of my, uh, donation clothing on and one of the things was a, um, a hospital gown.

• 5:01Speaker 01

  Oh, my.

• 5:01Tig Notaro?

And, um, and so I was flying down the, the mountain in a hospital gown on the outside. But yeah, I ultimately, you know, right on brand for me, I had a really bad snowboarding accident and hurt my back.

• 5:15Speaker 01

  Oh, no.

• 5:16Tig Notaro?

Yeah, yeah. So I haven't snowboarded since.

• 5:19Speaker 01

Yeah. Someone just showed me a video of, I get, I, I didn't know that around trees, there, there's like a large space that can drop to like 25 feet.

• 5:29Tig Notaro?

  Hmm. Mm hmm.

• 5:30Speaker 01

I, they call, there's a name for him. I don't know. And he showed me a video of a guy skiing and he kind of saw like a little color kind of in the snow and he stopped and went back up and it's like a dude hanging in the sn- that, that like cavernous area, but he was like almost covered in snow and he started digging them out. And I'm like, no, thank you. No, thank you.

• 5:59Tig Notaro?

I've, I've had that happen, not next to a tree, but like one of those electrical boxes in a neighborhood or something where snow accumulated around it. And I walked by there with my son and, uh, we both like dropped.

• 6:17Tig Notaro?

Like dropped, we dropped in and I was terrified, but it was that like I had to pretend like we weren't in a situation.

• 6:27Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 6:27Tig Notaro?

  Um, and uh,

• 6:29Speaker 01

  Really wee.

• 6:30Tig Notaro?

Yeah, it's like, oh, look at that. Now, how are we gonna get out, Max? And uh, and then it just turned into this like, uh, I was, I was really, I was, I was scared.

• 6:41Speaker 01

That would be very scary for sure.

• 6:43Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 6:44Speaker 01

This is why I stay away from snow for the most part.

• 6:47Tig Notaro?

That's why you sit by the fire and you have your drink.

• 6:49Speaker 01

Tig, I'm a pretty little lady.

• 6:51Tig Notaro?

I know you are, dear. I know you are. I'm, I'm looking right at you.

• 6:56Speaker 01

  Hmm.

• 6:57Tig Notaro?

Um, but yeah, I love, I love to sit in the lodge or in the condo or house or whatever and sit by the fire and have a little chocolate, I was gonna say chocolate milk, but hot chocolate.

• 7:11Speaker 01

  Yup.

• 7:13Tig Notaro?

Do you prefer um, hot chocolate or do you prefer a certain cocktail in the cold? Do you have a cold cocktail?

• 7:21Speaker 01

  I like an old fashioned.

• 7:22Tig Notaro?

  Mm-hmm.

• 7:23Speaker 01

That's my main, my main drink.

• 7:26Tig Notaro?

  Yep.

• 7:26Speaker 01

Um, when it's cold, I don't mind a little hot situation and, and then hot chocolate maybe like once or twice, but it is drinking a cup of chocolate. So I don't need that on the reg.

• 7:40Tig Notaro?

Yeah, it's like, I feel like an infant when I'm drinking hot chocolate. I'm like, it feels silly, but um, you know, it also feels good.

• 7:50Speaker 01

I was filming this movie the other night and it started getting cold and they had a truck that had hot chocolate and I was like, ooh, that sounds good. So I got some and I took like two sips. I'm like, this is a lot.

• 8:03Tig Notaro?

This is a lot of chocolate.

• 8:07Speaker 01

Like, why am I doing this?

• 8:11Tig Notaro?

Even our kids can't fit, we'll make them hot chocolate and they'll just have maybe five sips and then their hot chocolate just sits there.

• 8:19Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 8:20Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 8:21Speaker 01

  It's good in theory, but.

• 8:22Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 8:23Speaker 01

But yeah, I'm excited. I'm, I'm looking forward to just having a chill holiday.

• 8:29Tig Notaro?

  Are you excited about Santa?

• 8:31Speaker 01

  I'm so excited about Santa.

• 8:37Speaker 01

Well, we've never been actually home on Christmas. So I'm pretty pumped for that. I just ordered a pink four and a half foot Christmas fake Christmas tree.

• 8:48Tig Notaro?

Wow. It's fake? It's not real?

• 8:51Speaker 01

  Yeah, it's it's a fake pink thing.

• 8:55Tig Notaro?

Now, was this inspired by your suit?

• 8:58Speaker 01

  No.

• 8:58Tig Notaro?

  From the special?

• 8:59Speaker 01

I mean, but that is a good point. Maybe it maybe that was on my brain.

• 9:03Tig Notaro?

  Yeah, pretty little Christmas tree.

• 9:05Speaker 01

Pretty little Christmas tree. I did. I did rock that pink suit and crushing it. Um, so yeah.

• 9:10Tig Notaro?

  Hard.

• 9:11Speaker 01

Thank you. Yeah, I'm very happy right now. It was a crazy years it's been for everybody and

• 9:17Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 9:18Speaker 01

so busy and I'm so tired, but it feels like worth it. You know?

• 9:23Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 9:24Speaker 01

When you're like, oh, I'm just so tired.

• 9:26Tig Notaro?

  Finishing line?

• 9:27Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 9:28Tig Notaro?

  Yeah, for sure.

• 9:30Speaker 01

I was like crawling across it, promoting the special. Now I'm just like, ah, I can breathe.

• 9:35Tig Notaro?

Yeah, I crawled across the finish line um last year and I've continued to crawl. I'm still crawling.

• 9:43Speaker 01

  We're crawling, but we're here.

• 9:45Tig Notaro?

Yeah, we're here. We're queer and get used to it. Um, should we uh, should we start to get into this? See what?

• 9:51Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 9:52Tig Notaro?

  What's on everyone's minds?

• 9:53Speaker 01

  Let's do it.

• 9:54Speaker 04

My name is Angela. I'm from Michigan. My friend Leah and I are obsessed with your podcast. My question to you three is, what is your favorite thing you have ever won? It could be an award. It could be a raffle prize, um, whatever you wish.

• 10:14Tig Notaro?

  Oh, that's a good question.

• 10:16Speaker 01

  That is a good one.

• 10:17Tig Notaro?

  I feel like I don't win things.

• 10:21Speaker 01

  Like in raffles?

• 10:23Tig Notaro?

Or awards. Like I've been nominated, not to be braggadocious, but numerous times.

• 10:30Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 10:31Tig Notaro?

  Never. I cannot.

• 10:34Tig Notaro?

I can't win. I just can't do it. And so I'm just racking up nominations. Yeah, but I can't take home the prize.

• 10:45Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 10:45Tig Notaro?

And I remember when Stephanie was nominated for an Emmy and people were like, oh, my God, what if she wins? And I was like, that would be incredible if she won. I almost now don't want to win anything. I want to see how many things I can't win.

• 11:07Tig Notaro?

I don't even think I win like teddy bears at, at, um, at fairs. Not that I'm always at the fair, but you know, I feel like you, you probably win things.

• 11:21Speaker 01

I have actually never been nominated for any of the major awards. I've got nominated twice for like a critic's choice, but I haven't even been nominated for the like Emmys or Grammys or anything like that. So.

• 11:35Tig Notaro?

That's surprising. Now, what about teddy bears?

• 11:39Speaker 01

Teddy, well, I did, one thing that did come to mind.

• 11:42Tig Notaro?

  More importantly.

• 11:43Speaker 01

What about your fair situation? I have not been to a fair in a while, but for some reason this came right to my noggin. When I first moved to LA, I went to, I got invited as a plus one to like a rap party. And they were, um, raffling, they were, they gave you a raffle ticket when you walked in the door. And I was broke and the big prize was, um, a PlayStation. With, um, but the, and I'm not like a big gamer, but the PlayStation also played DVDs.

• 12:22Tig Notaro?

  Okay.

• 12:23Speaker 01

And I won and I'm sure everyone was like, who is this? You know, they're all celebrating, like finishing a show and I was a plus one and I'm like, I won.

• 12:36Speaker 01

But that was like my DVD. I played games on it.

• 12:39Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 12:39Speaker 01

Cause I had no friends when I first moved to LA. Um, except for the person that invited me to this party. And um, I, that was my DVD player for like eight years.

• 12:51Tig Notaro?

  Wow.

• 12:52Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 12:52Tig Notaro?

And what was the rap party of note or um, is there any?

• 12:57Speaker 01

It was like one of those CSI shows, you know?

• 13:00Tig Notaro?

  Okay.

• 13:00Speaker 01

So I was like, you guys, everyone was like, who is this person?

• 13:06Tig Notaro?

  Oh, that's cadaver number three.

• 13:10Tig Notaro?

  Well, that's, that's a win.

• 13:11Speaker 01

  Yeah, I'll take it.

• 13:13Tig Notaro?

Yeah. I mean, Thomas, I haven't won anything, have I? That you know of?

• 13:19Speaker 05

You won that award from Mississippi. That was pretty cool.

• 13:22Speaker 01

  Oh, there you go.

• 13:24Tig Notaro?

  Yeah. What was that award?

• 13:25Speaker 05

Governor's Award or something like that?

• 13:27Tig Notaro?

  Okay, yeah.

• 13:29Speaker 01

The gov- the gov-ness award. I like gov-ness.

• 13:36Tig Notaro?

What, but I don't know that I won an award. I was just given an award. You know what I mean? Like I wasn't competing against anybody.

• 13:43Speaker 01

  They're like.

• 13:44Tig Notaro?

  I was just.

• 13:45Speaker 01

You get, we're just gonna give this. If you come, we'll give this to you.

• 13:49Tig Notaro?

Yeah. What was that Irish award I was given, but I didn't win.

• 13:54Speaker 05

Oh, like the O Henry Award or something like that?

• 13:57Tig Notaro?

Like, no, it was Oscar Wilde Award.

• 13:59Speaker 05

  Oh, yeah.

• 14:00Tig Notaro?

So I've gotten things and I've been recognized for things.

• 14:06Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 14:06Tig Notaro?

  But I haven't.

• 14:08Speaker 01

I just realized I had frosting on my face.

• 14:11Tig Notaro?

Tis the season, fortune. Tis the season.

• 14:16Speaker 01

I hope people enjoy that on YouTube.

• 14:22Tig Notaro?

  Oh, my God.

• 14:27Tig Notaro?

Checking Allstate first could save you hundreds on car insurance. Not checking that I've got a little snack with me before I leave the house? My stomach and I are grumbling. I thought I'd be able to grab a bite in between meetings, but now it's getting late and I could really use a candy bar.

• 14:42Speaker 01

Yeah, checking first is handsome, so check Allstate first for an auto quote. It could save you hundreds. You're in good hands with Allstate. Potential savings vary, subject to terms, conditions, and availability. Allstate North American Insurance Company and affiliates, Northbrook, Illinois.

• 14:56Tig Notaro?

• 16:03Speaker 01

I had a donut and I don't usually have donuts for breakfast, but we went to a holiday party last night and they gave donuts on the way out, so I ate one. And then I'm like, I go, what is that? It's frosting.

• 16:15Tig Notaro?

Wait, you didn't wash your face last night? Oh, you went again this morning. Okay. It's like, wow, what a night. Stumble home, go to bed with donut face.

• 16:28Speaker 01

  What a treat, literally. Sorry.

• 16:31Tig Notaro?

  Donuts are a treat.

• 16:32Speaker 01

  I think I got it.

• 16:35Tig Notaro?

You know, I'll say in the end here, I feel like I've, I've, I've won in life in so many different ways.

• 16:42Speaker 01

You sure have. It's an honor just to be nominated.

• 16:47Tig Notaro?

But truly, I have my health as far as I know. I've got tremendous friends. I have work. I have great family and so there I won.

• 16:57Speaker 01

Here, here, here. And I have a PlayStation DVD player.

• 17:05Speaker 04

My favorite thing I've won is I actually won the alumni award at the college I went to. And actually, I'm not that impressive a person in terms of my accolades, but a bunch of my friends wrote really nice letters about me and I felt like it made me very proud. More of my friendships, more so than even my accomplishments. I think it's pretty awesome. So thanks for making a great podcast and keep it up.

• 17:34Speaker 01

Thank you. That is nice when those things happen and you're, my college is something like that too, when people have to, they reach out to people that know you and you're like, oh, that's really cool.

• 17:45Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 17:46Speaker 01

  Part of this.

• 17:47Tig Notaro?

Yeah. I'll never know what that's like, but that's cool.

• 17:54Speaker 01

  Oh, thanks, Angela.

• 17:57Tig Notaro?

Yeah, thank you. What's next? Give it to us.

• 18:00Speaker 06

Hello, handsome pod. It's me, River. Hopefully, your first 12 year old listener who's asking a question.

• 18:08Tig Notaro?

  Wow.

• 18:09Speaker 06

My question for you pretty little ladies today is what is your favorite play slash musical?

• 18:18Speaker 01

  River, I love River.

• 18:20Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 18:21Speaker 01

Play slash musical. God, there are many for me.

• 18:25Tig Notaro?

I mean, there's not too many for me. I've seen.

• 18:31Tig Notaro?

  I've seen some.

• 18:35Tig Notaro?

  Well, I've seen Annie.

• 18:37Speaker 01

I'll tell you what I've seen.

• 18:39Tig Notaro?

Did you and I go see Far and Away, or was that me and Patrick?

• 18:43Speaker 05

  We saw Fun House together.

• 18:46Speaker 01

  Oh, Fun Home?

• 18:48Tig Notaro?

  Fun Home.

• 18:49Speaker 05

  Sorry.

• 18:50Tig Notaro?

  Oh, yeah.

• 18:51Speaker 01

  Fun House sounds cool, too.

• 18:53Tig Notaro?

Fun Home. That was so great.

• 18:58Speaker 01

  Really good.

• 18:58Tig Notaro?

Oh, my gosh. I also, you know, I loved Book of Mormon.

• 19:03Speaker 01

  Yeah, that's a good one.

• 19:05Tig Notaro?

And then don't ever try to take Little Orphan Annie away from me.

• 19:08Speaker 01

Don't take it away from you.

• 19:11Tig Notaro?

  No.

• 19:12Speaker 01

The sun will come out tomorrow.

• 19:16Tig Notaro?

Oh, my gosh. Were you ever Little Orphan Annie? Because you could have done that.

• 19:20Speaker 01

Surprisingly, I was not. And my hair is looking kind of red today. I don't know how that.

• 19:25Tig Notaro?

You know what I would like to see is you as Little Orphan Annie now. Could we get that, please?

• 19:34Speaker 01

In that red dress with the socks.

• 19:37Tig Notaro?

I almost just called you Annie. But seriously, fortune. Thomas, put that on the list. Fortune dresses, Little Orphan Annie.

• 19:46Speaker 01

  That tomorrow.

• 19:51Tig Notaro?

We could all three be different people from different musicals. You could be Little Orphan Annie. I could be, what's her name from Fun House?

• 19:59Speaker 01

  Fun Home.

• 20:00Tig Notaro?

  Fun Home.

• 20:01Speaker 01

  Yeah, you could.

• 20:02Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 20:03Speaker 01

You just have your keys in a carabiner?

• 20:05Tig Notaro?

Oh, you know what my son Max calls Daddy Warbucks?

• 20:11Speaker 01

  What?

• 20:12Tig Notaro?

  Daddy Wambach.

• 20:15Tig Notaro?

He has it confused with Abby.

• 20:17Speaker 01

  With Abby?

• 20:18Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 20:18Speaker 01

  That's funny.

• 20:19Tig Notaro?

So he's like, so when Daddy Wambach? And I told them that. And Glennon was like, I'll start calling her Daddy Wambach.

• 20:27Speaker 01

  That's a fun nickname.

• 20:28Tig Notaro?

Or she is a Daddy Wambach or something like that.

• 20:30Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 20:31Tig Notaro?

  What's your, what's your musical?

• 20:33Speaker 01

Oh, I have many, many, many. I love musicals.

• 20:37Speaker 01

My favorite, like, classic, old school musical that you don't really see much anymore is 42nd Street. All the tap dancing and.

• 20:50Speaker 01

It's so big and cool and fun and just old school. Love, love, love.

• 20:55Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 20:56Speaker 01

More modern ones. I love, I did like Dear Evan Hansen a lot.

• 21:01Tig Notaro?

  Mm hmm. I saw that.

• 21:02Speaker 01

Once was really good. Wicked, of course.

• 21:06Tig Notaro?

  Mm hmm. Didn't see that.

• 21:08Speaker 01

Book of Mormon's really funny. It's clever.

• 21:11Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 21:11Speaker 01

I could just go see shows all the time. Um, but Jax hates musicals.

• 21:18Tig Notaro?

My son Max loves musicals. He loves Newsies and he listens to the CD all the time.

• 21:25Speaker 01

  Yeah. My OG was Rent.

• 21:27Tig Notaro?

  Oh, yeah.

• 21:28Speaker 01

Yeah, I used to, when I was in high school, I had that CD just constantly playing.

• 21:34Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 21:35Speaker 01

  I loved it.

• 21:37Tig Notaro?

Yeah, Max loves Rent as well. Stephanie is really into musicals.

• 21:41Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 21:41Tig Notaro?

Really into musicals and Wicked has just kicked it all. Stephanie sent me the greatest video of herself just singing. She was like, I think I'm ready.

• 21:54Tig Notaro?

You know, her debut on Broadway and she was just singing her little heart out.

• 21:59Speaker 01

Cause I think it's that musicals like still, when a song's big and everything's come together and it has that crescendo. You just like, you're like, yes, it just brings this thing out of you, you know? I don't know.

• 22:14Tig Notaro?

Yeah, it didn't happen to me.

• 22:16Speaker 01

Nor Jax. She's like, when is this over?

• 22:24Tig Notaro?

  That's great.

• 22:25Speaker 01

And you know, they're usually like two and a half hours long.

• 22:28Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 22:29Speaker 01

Rarely are musicals short. Let's hear what River had to say.

• 22:33Tig Notaro?

  Yeah, River.

• 22:34Speaker 06

My answer is my favorite musical is Into the Woods, uh, written by Stephen Sondheim. Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Sondheim, whatever.

• 22:45Speaker 06

Uh, I was lucky enough to be able to play this on piano at my high school performance or like at my school's high school performance.

• 22:53Speaker 01

  Nice.

• 22:54Speaker 06

And yeah, I can't wait to hear your guys' answer. Thank you so much for playing my question and see you little, pretty little ladies in this next episode.

• 23:05Speaker 01

  Nice.

• 23:05Tig Notaro?

  River.

• 23:06Speaker 01

  River crushed it.

• 23:08Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 23:09Speaker 01

I've never been in a musical myself. That would be, that would be a goal. I would like to try that at some point.

• 23:17Tig Notaro?

I was in a musical in um, fourth grade, fifth grade.

• 23:22Speaker 01

Oh yeah, I was in the one at church about Jonah and the whale.

• 23:28Speaker 01

Jonah, Jonah, Jonah, Jonah. That's what we sing.

• 23:33Tig Notaro?

  And the whale.

• 23:36Tig Notaro?

I was in a Peanuts musical, but I played. You know who I played?

• 23:42Speaker 01

  Who?

• 23:43Tig Notaro?

  Peppermint Patty.

• 23:45Speaker 01

  Oh, yeah.

• 23:46Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 23:47Speaker 01

  Patty.

• 23:47Tig Notaro?

But the odd thing was they put me in a dress.

• 23:51Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 23:52Tig Notaro?

  It's like, no.

• 23:54Speaker 01

  She's the tomboy, right?

• 23:57Tig Notaro?

  The full-blown lesbian. Yeah.

• 23:59Speaker 01

  She's not a tomboy. She's a full-blown lesbian.

• 24:02Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 24:03Speaker 01

That's what we called full-blown lesbians before they knew they were, that we called them tomboys.

• 24:09Tig Notaro?

I think I maybe had one line and I didn't have to sing, but I was in the musical. I was in the vicinity of a musical.

• 24:17Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 24:18Tig Notaro?

  So.

• 24:18Speaker 01

  I love it.

• 24:19Tig Notaro?

  Mm-hmm. I love you too.

• 24:21Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 24:28Speaker 01

  Well, that was delightful.

• 24:30Tig Notaro?

  Yes, it was.

• 24:32Speaker 01

I'm hoping that you have a nice Christmas, Tig.

• 24:35Tig Notaro?

I think I will, especially um, now that we know Max and Finn are kinda eh, neutral about Christmas. The pressure's not on.

• 24:44Speaker 01

There's no elf on the shelf.

• 24:46Tig Notaro?

No, we've never had an elf on the shelf. And then this year Stephanie was like, how about you and I don't get gifts for each other and then we just do a really special activity or take a weekend getaway?

• 24:59Speaker 01

  That's what I like.

• 25:00Tig Notaro?

Yeah, I was like, I am all in on that.

• 25:05Speaker 01

Yeah, cuz like, we're kind of at the point where we're like, what are we gonna get each other?

• 25:09Tig Notaro?

  Yeah, it's like, okay, here's a sweater.

• 25:11Speaker 01

  Yeah, well, that sounds great.

• 25:13Tig Notaro?

It's just different and I don't know, I'm looking forward to it, that it's not like full-blown lesbian.

• 25:20Speaker 01

Right. Well, I'm gonna take a sexy picture of me by my pink tree and send it to you.

• 25:26Tig Notaro?

Okay, please do. And seriously, Thomas, I hope you put Annie on the list.

• 25:32Speaker 05

  It's on the list.

• 25:33Tig Notaro?

  Okay.

• 25:34Speaker 01

The sun will come out tomorrow.

• 25:43Speaker 01

If you haven't watched Crushing It, watch it on Netflix and I sing twice church songs.

• 25:50Tig Notaro?

They've all watched it, but watch it again. And if you're listening to this on the day it comes out, our live streaming show is tomorrow, tomorrow.

• 26:00Speaker 01

  I love ya, tomorrow.

• 26:07Tig Notaro?

You know what I like to do is combine musicals and sing, Chicago, Chicago.

• 26:14Speaker 01

I love ya. Chicago. I bet a lot of people from Chicago are gonna tune in. This is a great opportunity for you guys to have like a fun hollybob

• 26:25Tig Notaro?

  Hmm.

• 26:26Speaker 01
