And I remember reading this book at a time where I really, really was just like, I need something. I'm, I'm starting to, there are things going on in my life. And I'm, I'm 44 and I'm starting to be like, I feel like I have a lot of life decisions. Life is really changing. I feel like your mid 40s really changes a lot of things in life. The world was changing and I was just feeling a little lost, a little scattered in some major, major ways. And I'm telling you right now that if

  situation that I am in right now. So you ask God to change your life and you just didn't realize that He might start by clearing the entire fucking thing. So let's talk about the first prayer that's in the book. It's called "Search Me." And this first dangerous prayer is about just God searching my heart, right? Reveal what I can't see. Show me where I'm anxious. Show me where I'm offensive or offended. Show me what I'm blind to. Show me the truth. Right? That is the thing that we want to get clarity on. It's kind of like, show me the

  things that I do that I can't see or that I know that I'm doing that I am turning away from, right? These are all the hard things that you don't actually want to look at. Like, God, show me. Because then it can become impossible to unsee. And a lot of times the things that we are not looking at are the exact things that are comfortable to us and that are keeping us small. And in order to change them, we'd have to get really, really, really fucking uncomfortable, right? So this is a prayer that's like, show me where I am holding myself back. Show me where I am doing something that's keeping me really small. And

  now you have to be brave enough to see what's on the other side and to start changing it. And so that's why that is the first dangerous prayer. Because once you pray this, it could take a month, it could take a year, but all of a sudden, one day you wake up in it and you can't unsee it. And it's so clear to you what needs to be done. And it's insanely uncomfortable, but you got your answer. No. Let me just tell you about this second prayer. This was the one that scared me the most, and it was the one that also called me the most, and it's the one I started praying the most. And you know, I kind of forgot about it. I kind of forgot that I prayed this prayer for like a month straight. And I was like, okay, well, there

  we go. We prayed this prayer. And looking back, like I had this drop to my knees moment, literally yesterday. I was like, oh my God, I prayed for all of this. I literally asked for all of this. And if I would have known, I wouldn't have. And now, like literally, but what I mean is if I would have known, I still would have, but I wouldn't have wanted to know what was coming. So the prayer that most people want to skip is the "Break Me" prayer because we want God to bless us, expand us, show us all the ways that we can grow, give us all the ways to be abundant, give us all the ways to grow, bring us all the people, bring us all the money, bring us all the opportunity, open the door for me, right?

  The miracles. Let abundance rain down abundantly, right? We don't usually pray. Break the things in me that cannot come where you're taking me. Break my need to control everything. Break my need to be liked. Break my need to attachment to the outcome. Break my identity that I'm attached to that's keeping me stuck. Break my biggest fears. Break me from my biggest fears. Break me from my dependence on something or someone that is going to hold me back.

  You're asking for a new life while desperately protecting the identity that created the old one. And so the only way to get to where we know we are meant to be is to be completely broken of those things. Except breaking that could mean breaking your relationship. Breaking that could mean breaking a friendship. It could mean breaking a business. It could mean breaking your safety. It could mean breaking the way that you earn money, like literally blowing it up.

  And so this is where the pruning starts. And I think what's so cool about that word, somebody just voice noted me saying, she was like, oh sis, it is pruning season and pruning season is magical. And it just clears everything from your life and reveals everything. So let me tell you, when I'm talking about the word pruning, so sometimes your next season isn't about adding more. It's truly like refinement. It's removal and pruning can look a whole lot like a loss when you're in the middle of it. So here's the thing about the word pruning is you don't only prune what's dead.

  So when you think about a gardener or pruning a tree, pruning bushes, something that's still alive needs to be cut back because removing some of it allows even healthier growth. So same idea of even trimming your hair, right? Like trimming off the dead hair. Like you're like, no, I want this to grow. It's counterintuitive to cut these split ends or it's counterintuitive to trim this tree when it's growing so beautifully. Because pruning really helps it. So a lot of times pruning is cutting something that's alive. It's not even cutting off something that's dead. It's just cutting off something that's alive. That's in the way of the ultimate growth. So we want something to become horrible before

  we give ourselves permission to release it. We want the friendship to become absolutely toxic before it can't come with us, right? We need the person to be the villain. We need the opportunity to completely fall apart. Otherwise, we think we have to keep it. But maybe, nothing has to be bad for it to be finished. Maybe we're supposed to recognize when it's supposed to be finished, or take the bold leap of knowing that it can be done, right? Nobody needs to be the villain. Maybe it was good. Maybe it served you. Maybe you loved it for the time being. Maybe you're heartbroken that it's ending, but maybe it's still not supposed to come with you. Not every painful thing is God removing something.

  So I want to be careful here when I say, I don't believe that every painful thing that happens means that God did this. I'm not going to pretend I know that. Nobody knows that. People have free will. Life happens, pain happens, you guys. But I absolutely believe we can ask God to reveal what we cannot see and give us to sermon about what no longer belongs and give us the courage to release what we're holding on to so tightly because we're terrified of what would happen without it or who we would be. Who would love us? Who would like us if we didn't have this? Who am I without this person? Who am I without this identity? Who am I without this thing? Who am I without this business? And sometimes,

  when you start living that way, realizing that if you put your faith 100% in whatever's happening in the free fall, that is a clearing for more.

  So what did you actually pray for? Some of you are in the season right now where everything seems to be happening at once. Let me just tell you, this is exactly what just happened for me. People leaving, relationships changing, you guys, doors closing, businesses shifting, businesses crumbling, falling apart, things happening inside them. We're in like, how is this even happening, right? Finance is going absolutely haywire and you're asking, why the fuck is this all happening to me at the same time? And then you have the moment where you say, what am I actually praying for?

  Looking back on everything that I have just gone through, which by the way, I am 100% writing a fucking book because of all of the things that have imploded, exploded, fallen apart, the things that have absolutely been cleared, revealed, people who have been revealed, the things that people have been doing, saying, what's going on? I am like, I cannot believe the prayer that has been answered. It's literally like I prayed this and God was like, you sure babe? Are you sure you want to see everything all at once?

  And all of a sudden, it was the reckoning of my life. I would say over the last couple of years, but definitely this last year. And if you are in this with me, I am now on the other side. And like I said, I have not, not completely, not even remotely completely. But when I say I'm on the other side, I'm on the other side of seeing the

  most insane blessing that this has been for me, to the point where I am now convinced that I am more than willing to say this prayer over and over and have a complete surrender and trust fall, that everything that I have ever been afraid of, everything, everything that is my biggest fear, has actually happened in some form to the point where all I have had left is, will I be okay with me if I don't have any of this? If I don't have this person? If this is what this looks like? If none of this works out? Will I be okay?

  Like you have you and you have God. And that's what this has felt like at certain points in this journey. And I am now fully in a place where surrender and trust and knowing that you are going to be delivered things that are a prayer answered, but they look like a reckoning. And it is such a clearing for what cannot come with you. And also it is such a place of showing you that you will always be okay and that you are becoming the most powerful version of yourself. So when we pray for these very big things, understand that you are going to then have to become big. So when we pray for a big blessing

  or to be the person who can run the company or to be the person who has the most dreamy marriage and relationship, you're going to have to confront the things, go through the things, put the work into the things that maybe you've been kind of turning away from. And so you're going to have to have a lot of uncomfortable conversations in your business, in your friendships, in your life, with your identity, with finding a new version of yourself, with watching things not work inside of your business and finally saying, okay, why is this not working with things changing, with your product shifting, with the world shifting, with who you thought you were and how you showed up might have to completely change overnight?

  Everything, everything can feel like it's not working. And when you look back, it can be because some of those things cannot go with you. You built them from an old identity or an old ego or the old way that you wanted to be. You're clinging on to something because you don't believe that you are enough without it, without that best friendship, without that relationship, without that marriage, without whatever it is. And I will tell you that on the other side of whatever you are most afraid of losing, when you realize that you are still okay, even if you lost it, number one, you might lose it. You might lose a best friend. You might lose your marriage.

  You might lose something. Or maybe on the other side, you might look like you are and you get it back even richer because now you don't depend on it. Now you're not grasping for it. Now you're not going, I will die without this thing. Who am I? I don't, I'm not worthy. I don't exist. Who will, who will want to be friends with me? Who would want to marry me? Who would want to have me in their friend groups? Who will, all the things. We're so, so afraid of being rejected by people, family, friends and relationships. And so much of that keeps us in a place of fear, keeps us small, keeps us stuck in patterns,

They're simultaneously existing while that part of my life is still being, certain parts are still being removed. I'm literally like, I've never been happier in my life because I did not realize how much I was attaching my identity and holding back so much in my life because of fear of

  being liked, or being rejected, or worrying about what people think of me, or feeling like I need to control everything that people think about me. Like, never have I ever been on the other side of going, wow. I just, when you release all control and all the things happen, you're still alive on the other side. Not just alive. You are a version of yourself that feels unshakable. It's not that I don't feel things anymore, but I feel that I am held in all areas. I feel that I will be more than okay. Not just more than okay, I feel all of it is for me.

  And I really believe that if we want to make the most of this life and of our purpose, that you're going to have to be willing to walk through the fire and fully trust God and know that He has something so much better for you than you can imagine. And so, when I tell you from the other side, I just, I pray that you will have the courage to pray bold, dangerous prayers, but also know that you are being held in such a beautiful way through all of it, and you'll see it on the other side. It's clearing things for you that wouldn't allow you to get to the next level. It's clearing people who truly weren't 100% for you, or just can't go with you. It's clearing resentments.

  It's showing you where you need to work on things, strengthen things, strengthen relationships. It's showing you what you need to be shown in order to live a peaceful life, in order to live a life that's so fulfilling, and in my personal opinion massively abundant in ways you can't even imagine. And if that means it's your worst fear, then that means that's what you needed to go through in order to not be afraid of it anymore. And so, I just want you to know that if you're in this season, you are coming out the other side in a way you can't even imagine. Keep having faith, keep leaning in, keep going.

  I don't even know how to tell you what the emotion and power that's going to come on the other side of just knowing that nothing can actually touch you and take you down for longer than you'll allow it. And while it might break your spirit, and you might cry for a year straight, I promise you that it's just clearing for a life that you can't imagine, beyond your wildest dreams. And I wish that I could say this is going to be my only season like this, but I have a feeling that there will be storms. And the thing is that I know that now in life, there will be lots of storms, but I will weather all of them.
