What's poppin', congregation? It's your girl, Scam Goddess, and I'm thrilled to be joined today by an old, dear friend. Not that old. Not that old, honey, but very funny, very, very funny. A very talented comedian, writer, Miss Priscilla Davies.

• 3:57Speaker 07

Hello, congregation. It is a pleasure to be here.

• 4:01Laci Mosley?

Guys, I've gotten some letters and some writing from some Trump supporters who love this show. So, guys, if you're a Trump supporter who loves the show, you should probably turn this shit off. You have Trump supporters? I do, and I don't court them. I was like, bitch, I'm not trying to give you joy. Please don't listen. This is not for you. I'm listening right now, enjoying every second of this. They're the true scammers, listening to me, knowing damn well that I don't want them to. So, shout out to y'all.

• 4:30Laci Mosley?

During these trying times, what are you gonna do without your racism, guys? God damn, just kidding, you still have it. Ooh, oucha zinger. It'll keep you warm at night, racism, like a weighted blanket. On your soul.

• 4:46Laci Mosley?

Oh, Lord, we needed some joy on today, truly. 2020 has been a raggedy bitch. Oh, Lord. But today, we celebrate. And guys, let's get into it. I won't, I won't give you too much politics. I'm lying, this is gonna be sprinkled throughout the episode like a dobo, honey. Oh, wait, we don't fuck with a dobo no more. Fuck a dobo.

• 5:06Laci Mosley?

Too much song there, anyway. That shit tastes good.

• 5:11Laci Mosley?

Oh, God, fuck your delicious ass, a dobo, you raggedy bitch. Especially that's our song. And Goya. That's, we're specifically talking about Goya's a dobo. Everybody else a dobo. Fine by us. We fuck sweetie. But guys, let's get into it. What's hot in fraud, besides the number one scammer being booted from the highest office in the land? The number one scammer got busted, y'all. What a blessing. I'm sorry, I know I said we was gonna get into it. We is gonna get into it. Can we all just relish? Can I, can we have a moment, please, congregation? Don't be mad at us. I'm so glad y'all showed up to church today, cuz this is a hot holiday. Oh, we just gonna be preaching. Amen, amen.

• 5:52Laci Mosley?

We got Miss Gertie on the organ.

• 5:55Laci Mosley?

Chelsea's gonna add organ later for that. She does have arthritis, so the organ music will be a little shoddy, but we gonna let Miss Gordon cook. She gonna cook today. Y'all, I just, I truly can't believe it. We are free. I mean, you know. We're still black.

• 6:15Laci Mosley?

But we gonna pretend today, like we completely free. Today, I am a white woman. I am Farrah Fawcett in the 70s. Oh, my gosh. Wind cascading through my flaxen locks. Oh, Farrah, it's me, Rebecca. So good to see you, guys. So good to see you, Rebecca. Do you know how good it feels to be free in America? It feels so good. Would you like a watercress sandwich? Of course I would. Do you have any sparkling water? Oh, absolutely. Actually, we only have flat sparklings. Too spicy for me.

• 6:45Laci Mosley?

  All right, and we're back.

• 6:48Laci Mosley?

This is about to be foolish. I'm so sorry to all of y'all. Guys, let's get into what's hot and fried. Uh, we've got a special listener letter from what's hot and fried. Uh, I need a name for this gentleman. He is from the Bronx.

• 7:02Speaker 07

  Oh, from the Bronx, baby.

• 7:03Laci Mosley?

  Mm-hmm.

• 7:04Speaker 07

My name is, uh, or his name is, oh, God.

• 7:07Laci Mosley?

Not the prayer hands. Why did she immediately go into prayer hands?

• 7:10Speaker 07

Cause it's the Bronx. Um, let's call this guy, uh, Bell Biv.

• 7:15Laci Mosley?

Bell Biv. You know what? We are gonna call him Bell Biv because shout out to Philly. Motown Philly back again. Wait, that is Bell Biv, the boy, right?

• 7:23Speaker 07

No, that's, that's, um, uh, Boyz II Men.

• 7:26Laci Mosley?

That's how it is, cause they say it in some, they go Boyz II Men.

• 7:29Speaker 07

  A B C B B D.

• 7:31Laci Mosley?

Okay, okay. Well, didn't they get no fight? Nah, that was Bell Biv with, uh, with Bobby, uh...

• 7:38Speaker 07

  Bobby, no, Bobby Brown.

• 7:40Laci Mosley?

Bobby Brown got in a fight with, uh, Bell Biv, the phone. You ain't seen that movie on B T?

• 7:44Speaker 07

I thought he's in a different group. He's not in Bell Biv.

• 7:46Laci Mosley?

He's not in it. He just fought them.

• 7:48Speaker 07

He just fought them. Okay, well, now that makes sense.

• 7:52Laci Mosley?

All this adds up to say,

• 7:55Laci Mosley?

Bell Biv is the name of the listener letter today.

• 7:58Speaker 07

  Right.

• 7:59Laci Mosley?

So he says, "Hey, scam goddess and guests, okay?"

• 8:03Speaker 07

  Hello. Thank you for acknowledging.

• 8:06Laci Mosley?

I appreciate you for knowing the structure of the show.

• 8:10Laci Mosley?

So, uh, I'm gonna skip past the mushy stuff, but I will say, uh, there is a Leg 2020 shout out in here. And guys, we fucking did it. Uh, Leg 2020, you guys went viral with the shits. You got lit. You bought shirts. Yeah, and those shirts, pros, the proceeds went to Black Lives Matter. That's at the time where all the proceeds were going to from Earwolf. So, you know, y'all was also doing y'all's part.

• 8:31Speaker 07

  Oh, wow.

• 8:31Laci Mosley?

  Amen, amen.

• 8:32Speaker 07

You didn't skim off the top at all?

• 8:33Laci Mosley?

I didn't, and I regret that. I sorely regret it.

• 8:38Laci Mosley?

But I did not skim off of the top. So, guys, we did it. We got them legs to the poles and, and we love it. If you're in Georgia, I don't know when that runoff's happening. It's probably this week, huh?

• 8:48Speaker 07

No, girl, I don't think so at all. I'm pretty sure runoff is like a process.

• 8:53Laci Mosley?

Okay, okay. So, trust me, said the runoff's in January. Let me stop spreading misinformation, cause I told y'all to vote on the wrong day. And y'all knew what I meant. But, uh, yes, guys, so, uh, shout out to Georgia followers. If y'all out there.

• 9:04Speaker 07

  Georgia.

• 9:05Laci Mosley?

Georgia. The whole day through. Make sure y'all get out. I'm gonna get sued by Ray Charles' ghost. Um, he's litigious.

• 9:14Laci Mosley?

  The ghosts.

• 9:16Laci Mosley?

I believe it. So y'all, you know, stay woke because there's probably gonna be a runoff and we gonna need those seats. So y'all gonna have to get out there and get that leg back to the pole. Come on, Georgia, keep that momentum going for us. Take those Georgia peaches and those legs. You heard. To the polls.

• 9:31Laci Mosley?

So, back to Belvib, we gonna get there. Back to what the hell we came here to do.

• 9:37Laci Mosley?

We gonna get there, y'all. This is actually, we're getting into it pretty quickly. I said, seven minutes ain't bad. Okay. So. So Belvib says, "My name is Belvib Devoe."

• 9:50Laci Mosley?

Okay, we said that, but still. He says, "I'm a Latino who lives in the Bronx." He's a Latino. BK forever, he says. Yay, yay, yay. And he lives in a very Italian neighborhood. The first time someone tried to run this possible scam, it started the same way. So he said, "Someone pulls up and is like, "¿Tú hablas español?" And he's like, "Si," unsure, because he doesn't like to talk to strangers. And if you don't know what "¿Tú hablas español?" means, it just means to speak Spanish. But also like, there's no official language of the US. You guys should know that, right? That's a fact. So, so the guy continues and he says, "I'll give you this jewelry for money so that we can,

• 10:34Laci Mosley?

"me," uh, which is Belvib Devoe, he says, "I don't have money. I'm so sorry," and walks away, which, you know what, Belle? Smart. You did the right thing. The guy tries to talk to him more and he says, "Sorry," and he walks away. So the first time, he didn't write in because he was like, "I don't know, scam or real? It could have just been random and I didn't fall for it." Fast forward to the pandemic in New York City in 2020, the day before the election, I believe. Ooh, recent. We love a fresh con. Very fresh. He says, "He rarely goes outside." Okay, a distancing king. Respect. A duke of distance. And when we do go outside, I wear a mask. Okay, cool. That's what you should do. So he says, "A different guy in a different car, same story, same type of ring, same family guilt trip."

• 11:19Laci Mosley?

He said, "This time, it was a guy who asked if he speaks Spanish," again. And he had a car seat in the back of the car and a woman in the backseat, assumably with a baby, but he couldn't see the baby. So again, uh, Belvib says, I don't have any cash. And the guy's like, but I'll give you this ring for gas money. And he's like, sorry, no cash. And he crosses the street. So he says, I guess this is a popular scam because it's the same neighborhood in the Bronx, same pickup line, uh, the whole give you jewelry to get gas thing is the same thing. And family in the backseat, a sob story, basically the whole same grift. So then he did some Googles.

• 11:56Speaker 07

  Nice.

• 11:57Laci Mosley?

  We love a Google.

• 11:58Speaker 07

  Mm hmm.

• 11:59Laci Mosley?

And the San Francisco gate said, drivers beware of roadside scammers offering gold for cash. It's fake. Now, I know, you know, gas is high. Is it gold ring high? No.

• 12:19Speaker 07

In parts of California. I'm keeping it real.

• 12:22Laci Mosley?

In San Francisco, you actually may need to give up your baguettes.

• 12:25Speaker 07

Okay, if you have a high school ring, a graduation one.

• 12:29Laci Mosley?

Right. Listen, I used to sell those.

• 12:31Speaker 07

  What?

• 12:32Laci Mosley?

I, I worked for, uh, redacted rings company.

• 12:36Speaker 07

  Stop.

• 12:38Laci Mosley?

And my mom used to work there, so she got me a job on campus, a scam. And my job was social media coordinator. So I would post on Facebook and I'd post on Instagram about class rings, which it was, I was just making money for doing nothing. And, uh, I would have to sit at the graduation table and be like, do you want a ring? And I got a ring for free. It was, nobody has a class ring anymore. No one wears that ugly piece of jewelry.

• 13:01Speaker 07

It's so ugly and I'm so grateful I never spent any money on any. And they would try to do like for ladies, for the girls.

• 13:06Laci Mosley?

  There's a tiny one.

• 13:07Speaker 07

The little, yeah, and it's just, they're just not.

• 13:10Laci Mosley?

  I lost mine.

• 13:11Speaker 07

I never had one. I never, ever, because I, even as a kid, I was like, this just seems like a bad investment.

• 13:17Laci Mosley?

You did the right thing. I mean, back in the day when it like degrees really fucking mattered, it was like a networking tool. Like you had your Penn State ring on and be like, oh chip, I see ya.

• 13:26Speaker 07

  So that's what it's for.

• 13:27Laci Mosley?

How about those Panthers? Are they Panthers? The Penn State Panthers? It's some kinda cat. I don't know. I went to Pitt.

• 13:34Speaker 07

  I know Penn State.

• 13:36Laci Mosley?

So this is basically another one of those tug on your heartstrings scams. It's like, oh, my family's going to do this. The thing that I don't understand about it in New York is like, there's like a pawn shop on every corner. Like, how you, like, why we gonna think you gonna give us a real ring when you could literally go to the corner and it's gonna be a liquor store?

• 13:54Speaker 07

  The bodega.

• 13:55Laci Mosley?

The bodega, and then a pawn shop.

• 13:58Speaker 07

I, and that's, and that's why this scam gets an F from me. Because first of all, first of all, you're doing this in the boogie down Bronx. Come on now. Like, niggas got sense out there, okay? And then like, it's just, it's just such a, I just feel like, where can, who, who has got got by this? Apparently, some people have.

• 14:19Laci Mosley?

Also, like, what is the whole point of being like, habla español? Like, what is that supposed to bring?

• 14:23Speaker 07

  Like, it's to...

• 14:24Laci Mosley?

It's the Bronx. Who doesn't speak Spanish in the Bronx?

• 14:28Laci Mosley?

I feel like you gotta be like, pasele vula, Jose. Like, you gotta hit him with some, some different.

• 14:33Speaker 07

Right? I guess it's supposed to be like, ay, compadre, like, you know, we are the same. Help me.

• 14:40Laci Mosley?

  See, if I...

• 14:41Speaker 07

  Help us and our people.

• 14:43Laci Mosley?

Right. And our people. It's like, look, give me gas money for La Raza.

• 14:48Speaker 07

  Okay.

• 14:51Laci Mosley?

I don't know if that adds up, bruh. Uh, seems complex. Seems complicated.

• 14:56Speaker 07

I just need to know who's got and got by this. And did you keep the ring?

• 15:01Laci Mosley?

You keep the ring. I love doing that reference. It's from Hey, Arnold.

• 15:04Speaker 07

  Okay, I don't...

• 15:05Laci Mosley?

  You keep the money.

• 15:06Speaker 07

  Okay, thank you.

• 15:07Laci Mosley?

No, it was this episode where, um, you know how they live in that building, that border house?

• 15:12Speaker 07

  You know, I don't...

• 15:14Laci Mosley?

  No, listen.

• 15:15Speaker 07

I don't know about Hey, Arnold. I didn't have cable growing up, so...

• 15:18Laci Mosley?

  Hey, Arnold was this shit.

• 15:20Speaker 07

I miss out on so much good shit.

• 15:20Laci Mosley?

It was like this old, old fuckboy, and he lived with his woman. His woman was always paying the bills, always paying the rent.

• 15:28Speaker 07

  This is a child show?

• 15:29Laci Mosley?

This is a child show on Nickelodeon.

• 15:31Speaker 07

  And his woman.

• 15:33Laci Mosley?

It was on Nickelodeon. It's always a fuckboy. It was, Chelsea, I'm right, right? It was a fuckboy and his bottom bitch. And she was always paying for everything, always holding him down. And then one day, he like got, came across some money or something like that. And like, his bottom bitch was like, you really about to take this or whatever? And he was tempted. And then at the end, he came back and redeemed himself and he was like, you keep the money. She was like, damn.

• 15:59Speaker 07

That is the plot of Belly. I don't want anything to do with this anymore. Get out of here.

• 16:03Laci Mosley?

She said, I love you boo, for real. He was like, you keep the money. And like, literally, he did that. That's all he did. And then he was back in good graces and back to his fuckery.

• 16:12Speaker 07

  Oh, my God.

• 16:12Laci Mosley?

  I love it.

• 16:15Laci Mosley?

  Shout out to Arnold.

• 16:16Speaker 07

  Shout out to Nickelodeon.

• 16:18Laci Mosley?

She's just so problematic, keeps the cold ass shit. She should have definitely left that nigga. And she was, he said, you keep the money. And she was like, oh, come back here boo.

• 16:28Speaker 07

  Okay.

• 16:28Laci Mosley?

Uh, yeah, hey, Arnold, really, really good content.

I was just so hyped today, guys. Like, can y'all hear me smiling? Because I'm smiling so hard. Whoo! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. A lovely day for a neighbor. Won't you be mine? Would you be mine? Fuck you, Donald Trump.

• 19:16Laci Mosley?

Yes! All right, guys, we're back, and it's time for Historic Hood Winks, my favorite part of the show. This is where I will regale Priscilla with a famous hood wink, and we'll get her opinions all throughout. And we're talking about a very special one today, guys. Oh. Mm-hmm. We're talking about Milli Vanilli.

• 19:36Speaker 07

Mmm. Kat, what's their song? Come on, give it to me.

• 19:39Laci Mosley?

I don't know what their song is.

• 19:40Speaker 07

It's a, "Girl, you know it's true." Ooh, ooh, ooh. And, no, okay.

• 19:49Laci Mosley?

I don't know it. Girl wasn't born when they were famous.

• 19:52Speaker 07

Well, I was, and I'm proud of that.

• 19:56Laci Mosley?

Oh, gosh. So Milli Vanilli was a German-French R&B duo from Munich. The group was founded by Frank Farian and consisted of Fab Morveron and Rob Pilatus. They became one of the most popular acts in the late 18...

• 20:12Speaker 07

  1800s.

• 20:13Laci Mosley?

  In the 1800s.

• 20:13Speaker 07

  It's the late 80s.

• 20:15Laci Mosley?

In the turn of the century.

• 20:17Speaker 07

  The 90s.

• 20:19Laci Mosley?

With millions of records sold and won, they won a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1990. However, their success turned to infamy when it was discovered that they did not sing any of the vocals to their music releases.

• 20:31Speaker 07

  Mm-hmm.

• 20:32Laci Mosley?

Their music releases. Why did my voice go full like?

• 20:35Speaker 07

  Their music releases.

• 20:37Laci Mosley?

I am an anchor now. Lucky I am. Y'all seen me on the con on ABC? Scam, I'm here to be an expert.

• 20:45Speaker 07

That was the biggest scam of it all.

• 20:46Laci Mosley?

Truly, of 2020, that's probably the scam that I've done so far is me sitting in this like chair and being a talking head expert.

• 20:53Speaker 07

You should be fucking proud of yourself.

• 20:54Laci Mosley?

It's a crime. So, the making of Milli Vanilli. I, I, what I have to say, I don't know if this would have been such a huge scandal if it happened now because it's like with autotune and how much we do to fix people's voices and change them and how few artists actually sing live at concerts and performances. Like, is it really that wild to not sing your own music?

• 21:18Speaker 07

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say yes.

• 21:22Speaker 07

  Like, yes.

• 21:23Laci Mosley?

Are you kidding me? Think about all the singers we got singing in italics and webdings these days. You know what I mean? I go to hell and jail about your boy. I go to hell and jail, boy.

• 21:36Speaker 07

  No. Delete. Um, I just.

• 21:39Laci Mosley?

  What did it go?

• 21:40Speaker 07

  I.

• 21:40Laci Mosley?

  What is it, sir?

• 21:42Speaker 07

  I don't like this song.

• 21:43Laci Mosley?

  How do I skip this?

• 21:46Speaker 07

Oh damn, I got the anti-skip button on.

• 21:50Speaker 07

Shout out to CD, to Walkman.

• 21:52Laci Mosley?

Whisper singers, come on. Janelle Eiko.

• 21:54Speaker 07

Oh, now here's my thing. I do think it would be a problem today because in the end, we still expect the artists to be able to sing their actual songs.

• 22:05Laci Mosley?

What do I expect actors to do on stats?

• 22:08Speaker 07

Okay, that's not even equivalent at all. Like, what? Like, how can you? I wish you would go to every actor and be like, wait, you can't do a kickflip into a backflip off of a building?

• 22:22Laci Mosley?

And if you can't, how am I supposed to believe you? How am I supposed to believe you? Did Vin Diesel flip them cars in all them car movies?

• 22:29Speaker 07

  I'm sure he didn't.

• 22:31Laci Mosley?

Is he really even bald? I can't trust anything.

• 22:34Speaker 07

  Wow, now that's a.

• 22:35Laci Mosley?

  I can't trust anything.

• 22:36Speaker 07

The only person who does their own stumps since Tom Cruise, and that's because he's crazy.

• 22:42Speaker 07

That's because he hasn't felt anything on the inside since the early 80s.

• 22:45Laci Mosley?

He was like, no, I'll jump under the car. Like, Tom, it's not even gonna be in the movie. Like, we don't own that car.

• 22:51Speaker 07

He's like, let's just get it in case.

• 22:54Laci Mosley?

He's like, that's just a pedestrian driving a car. Like, we shouldn't do this.

• 22:58Speaker 07

Dude, I definitely think that's like, no, you can, no, you would still get dragged by the media if you... Okay, remember when Jessica Simpson's little sister, she got caught, she got caught lip syncing?

• 23:14Laci Mosley?

  Oh, yeah.

• 23:14Speaker 07

And she got dragged. However, it was still...

• 23:16Laci Mosley?

She got dragged for that jig, though.

• 23:19Speaker 07

  Yeah, it was like, girl.

• 23:29Laci Mosley?

I love that song. And the phone rings and I hear ya, the darkness, there's a clarinet, succumb to rescue me.

• 23:37Speaker 07

  I hate it.

• 23:39Laci Mosley?

I know everyone's so angry right now. I'm gonna stop.

• 23:41Speaker 07

  Let's stop.

• 23:41Laci Mosley?

  But it's hard. It's hard.

• 23:43Speaker 07

I just, I, it would be, in my opinion, it would be a scandal even to this.

• 23:48Laci Mosley?

Okay, maybe. Maybe you're right. I think, okay.

• 23:52Speaker 07

T-Pain could sing underneath that, that.

• 23:54Laci Mosley?

  Oh, yes, he can.

• 23:56Speaker 07

He was like, I wish you would talk shit about my voice. I'm gonna go on The Masked Singer.

• 24:00Laci Mosley?

Maraii. I don't know what he says.

• 24:04Speaker 07

  In Wisconsin. He rhymed Wisconsin.

• 24:07Laci Mosley?

  Wisconsin.

• 24:09Speaker 07

  What was it he rhymed?

• 24:10Laci Mosley?

I'mma take you to a mansion, somewhere in Wisconsin. And it was beautiful. It was truly, truly a moment of artistry. Frank Farian, a German record producer, was in a disco in his native country when he heard the song, "Girl, You Know It's True" by the Baltimore band Numaro, and immediately knew it could be a bigger hit.

• 24:33Speaker 07

What'd I say? Girl, you know it's true.

• 24:35Laci Mosley?

You said that. So, he started recruiting singers in 1988. Singers Linda and Jody Rocco sang backup, and Charles Shaw rapped on the track. Okay, so this is because he decided that he was gonna assemble a team to recreate the version of that song, taking the original hip-hop track and mixing it with a little bit of Eurodance.

• 24:58Speaker 07

I mean, what a dumb move. Like...

• 25:01Laci Mosley?

I mean, the song was a hit. The one that you heard was the remix.

• 25:04Speaker 07

  That's true.

• 25:04Laci Mosley?

Is Frank Farian the original Diddy?

• 25:07Speaker 07

I mean, here's my thing, and this is, I think, why this was probably doomed from the start. They, the goal wasn't, I see, I, I didn't know that the, they were put together for a song. I thought they were put together as a, as an actual group.

• 25:20Laci Mosley?

Well, so this is just the song. The, so this is where it started. So this is Farian being like, oh, I like this song a lot. I'm gonna steal it. I'm gonna hit it with the remix. I'm gonna give it some flavor.

• 25:30Speaker 07

But then he found people to sing the song, right? Or he just gave it to an artist he already had.

• 25:33Laci Mosley?

Well, he found real singers to sing the song. He started recruiting singers in 1988. Singers Linda and Jody Rocco sang backup and Charles Shaw rapped on the track. "When he played the record for me, I already knew the song," said Shaw. He told Billboard magazine this. He said, "I had been dancing to the Numaru version on the weekends in an American club in Hamburg. Farian played it and I said, 'This song ain't new.'"

• 25:58Speaker 07

And exact, that's exactly how he said it in 1990. Let's continue.

• 26:02Laci Mosley?

  "This song ain't new, homes."

• 26:03Speaker 07

  Hey, this song ain't new.

• 26:06Laci Mosley?

And then I said, "To Bella." Boom, boom, bada. That's how people talk in the 90s, right?

• 26:11Speaker 07

  Absolutely.

• 26:11Laci Mosley?

Um, so Farian admitted that the song wasn't new, but he still went with it and started mixing the voices. "You can't really hear the vocals or exactly who's singing because there are so many voices on the chorus," he said. Eventually Brad Harrell and John Davis were brought in for vocals. His version of the song quickly became popular in Europe. Now he just needed faces to go along with the music group.

• 26:33Speaker 07

  That's what I mean. He, it's, it's like, it's empty. It's not real art.

• 26:38Laci Mosley?

I don't know. A lot of music is made for mass consumption and some of it's good. It's not all bad.

• 26:46Speaker 07

If it, if it happened the other way around, if it was like, I put together this amazing band and they came, but it's like, I heard a song and then I, like, built this monster around it.

• 26:58Laci Mosley?

But think about producers and writers. Like, they're writing music and song for, like, whatever model is hot right now.

• 27:04Speaker 07

  True.

• 27:05Laci Mosley?

Like, there's some people can really sing down. Like, I think Ariana Grande can sing. I don't think she's, like, trying very hard, but she can sing. But people make music for her all the, you know what I mean? Like, it's like, there's very few Ariana Gandes. It's mostly just, like, models now who... Can carry a tune.

• 27:21Speaker 07

  Oh, yeah.

• 27:22Laci Mosley?

Look at the R and B scene. There's a lot of very beautiful models.

• 27:24Speaker 07

Well, R and B is dead.

• 27:26Laci Mosley?

Smoking the weed. Oh, my man stole my money from my purse a little.

• 27:32Speaker 07

Again, how do I skip? I hate this song. Yeah, I, yes, yes, you're right. Well, yeah, you're right.

• 27:40Laci Mosley?

So he was like, okay, gotta find some faces to go with these voices. So this is discovering Pilates and Morvahn. At the time, Pilates and Morvahn were dancers living in a housing project in Munich. They were pretty poor and were often stealing food to survive.

• 27:57Speaker 07

  Oh, wow.

• 27:58Laci Mosley?

Ferian came along and offered each of them $4,000 to become the faces of the duo.

• 28:04Speaker 07

  That's a lot in the 90s.

• 28:05Laci Mosley?

Vanilli. Right. 4,000. You can definitely move out the projects.

• 28:08Speaker 07

  For sure, for sure.

• 28:09Laci Mosley?

So he named the duo after the nickname of his girlfriend. So his girlfriend was named, like nickname was Milli Vanilli, and he was like, that's what I'm gonna call y'all.

• 28:20Speaker 07

I thought it had something to do with vanilla, but that's fine.

• 28:24Laci Mosley?

Maybe the girlfriend's name was Millie or Mildred, they called her.

• 28:28Speaker 07

I mean, look, I fuck with it. It's still a great name.

• 28:31Laci Mosley?

So Ferian wasn't new to the game. He had done the same thing with his 1970s disco funk group, Bony M. Well, that's not a great name, with a singer who was actually just a dancer.

• 28:41Speaker 07

By the way, M is short for Millie.

• 28:47Laci Mosley?

Bony Millie. All he's got is Millie, and he's just been making it work. He's like, Milli Vanilli, Bony Millie. So he did it again. This was with someone who was also just a dancer, who was lip syncing to Ferian's own vocals. He was able to hang on to that secret for 25 years.

• 29:05Speaker 07

Wait, Ferian was a singer too?

• 29:09Speaker 07

This is really what this was all about. He was trying to get his vocals on the track. I need a picture of this guy.

• 29:15Laci Mosley?

Oh, so yeah, can we Google a photo of him? Because I wonder if he's, he can't be hot. Maybe that's why.

• 29:21Speaker 07

Because back in the 90s, like, it was super fucked up.

• 29:24Laci Mosley?

You had to be like, I forget who wrote this tweet, but they're like, remember in the 90s when we had all the posters of like the hot singers and actors on our walls? Like, we were trying to solve a horny murder? And I was like, yes, like, you had to be someone we could cut out of a magazine and stick on a wall and be so horny for.

• 29:41Speaker 07

  Right?

• 29:42Laci Mosley?

So, Farian came back after the song hit the charts in England and said he had to have two faces for the project. I was already paid $12,000 for singing, girl.

• 29:52Speaker 07

Girl, you look at this nigga's face.

• 29:54Laci Mosley?

Wait, okay. And he said, keep your mouth shut and you can do the whole album. I'm thinking, that studio work for me, this is Shaw talking, so he's already... Oh my god.

• 30:05Speaker 07

Yo, congregation, do yourself a favor and Google Frank Farian and you'll understand why he went through so much work to find people to sing his damn songs. Come on.

• 30:17Laci Mosley?

Oh, god, I feel, see, no, no, I feel bad, because like, we should be able to have more people like, um, what's that nigga who likes SpongeBob? Dale Caesar, where like, you sing really well, but you're like, hideous.

• 30:33Speaker 07

But he's, this guy's not hideous, he's just like a interesting looking character. That's not a positive either, but...

• 30:40Laci Mosley?

  It's not.

• 30:42Speaker 07

But I mean, he's, it's not that he's ugly, it's just like, who...

• 30:44Laci Mosley?

We need to normalize ugly people in music.

• 30:47Speaker 07

Well, we're, we are, we've done, we're doing better than we did in the 90s.

• 30:50Laci Mosley?

Yeah, the 90s was like, you had to be like a horny superstar. Oh, gosh. So Shaw is basically saying like, well, I kept working for him because it was a check and I needed some coins. So, had Farian realized how popular the group Milli Vanilli was gonna become, he would have realized the dancers' accents would have been an issue. Pilates had a German accent and Morvon had a French accent. Well, see, I don't know, because like, I think about people like Craig David, who like, when he sings, he was like, "Why were you creeping around?" And then like, and then when he talks, he's like, "I am quite a thief."

• 31:28Speaker 07

Yeah, like, uh, um. I'll see you down at Piccadilly. Ace of base, yeah, like that, yeah.

• 31:34Laci Mosley?

So I don't think that's a big deal. But Linda and Jody, the two original singers from earlier, were also brought back in for more vocals. So, uh, he was like, alright, I'm not gonna worry about the fact that they don't have accents, uh, or they do have accents, I'm gonna just bring in Linda and Jody for more vocals, and Shaw's gonna come in the studio, and he gonna record stuff. Um, they said there was really no plan. We were just recording stuff real fast to get enough together for a four-song EP for the American market. Pilatus and Morvahn would come in and go down to the basement where the pool was, and hang out for a couple of hours. They'd make appearances, then, then go down to the basement, but they never sang a note or went into the studio.

• 32:14Speaker 07

  Wow.

• 32:15Laci Mosley?

I love that they showed up for appearances to record, though. They were like, there's plenty of footage of us going inside of the studio.

• 32:21Speaker 07

Your honor, I'd like you to turn your attention to Exhibit A. My clients went in the studio, and they came out.

• 32:30Laci Mosley?

Hours later, okay? Uh, whether any tracks were laid down.

• 32:36Speaker 07

  That's none of our business.

• 32:37Laci Mosley?

  None of our business.

• 32:38Speaker 07

  That's privilege.

• 32:39Laci Mosley?

I love the dedication, though, to having them come and then just, like, hang out somewhere.

• 32:43Speaker 07

  I mean.

• 32:44Laci Mosley?

They're like, oh, we gotta go to, like, I can't do a German accent.

• 32:47Speaker 07

We, uh, we have to go to, and, you know, we call.

• 32:50Laci Mosley?

  Das Studio.

• 32:51Speaker 07

  Das Studio.

• 32:52Laci Mosley?

  Das Studio.

• 32:54Speaker 07

Uh, you want to go to the studio? I'd love to go to the studio. And rigga. I love going to the studio, you swim so much in the water. You know, your congregation knows, we speak French, right? Quelle vous, you know? Vous avez? Cochez avec moi. I want to go, I am German again.

• 33:12Speaker 07

Because German accents and French accents, from the American perspective, are very similar.

• 33:16Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 33:16Speaker 07

It's very easy to mix it up.

• 33:17Laci Mosley?

We don't do any one justice, we're so disrespectful in this country, and I love it. Um, so, so they're basically pretending, cosplaying to be artists. Uh, I stand. So Linda said that they were kept a distance from the guys so that they wouldn't get too close. The real singer was secretly brought in at night, and he would be taken to the studio late at night, even after the other staff was gone, so that no one would know he was the true voice.

• 33:40Speaker 07

So, hold up, so this guy's coming in Masked Singer style? Like, the visor over his face.

• 33:47Laci Mosley?

They roll him in a filing cabinet. He's like, guys, why do I, yeah, yeah, no, you got a record deal. You did. We're so excited to work with you here.

• 33:55Speaker 07

But you could just stand behind this bush real quick and not make any noises.

• 33:58Laci Mosley?

We're so excited to have you at German Sony Records. Yeah. Okay. We're gonna need you to put this blanket over your head. No, it's all the rage. Michael Jackson's doing it to his kids. It's like a thing. So just put it on your head. Come inside the studio. So, yeah, um, poor guy, whoever was really singing these songs. So they were doing all this shady shit, which is very fun to me. So, Looking Suspect, soon as the music video for Girl, You Know It's True was a global hit, Milli Vanilli also had four other hit songs.

• 34:29Speaker 07

  Blame it on the, mm.

• 34:30Laci Mosley?

  How does global go right?

• 34:31Speaker 07

  Blame it on the rain.

• 34:35Speaker 07

Ooh, ooh, ooh. Okay, I'm mixing two songs, but I know the connotations. It's like blame it on the rain. You don't remember that?

• 34:44Laci Mosley?

No. Why would I remember this?

• 34:47Speaker 07

Well, your parents, well, they won't be jamming to this. They'd be like, what the hell? Give my bail bill to go back.

• 34:54Laci Mosley?

Then they had Girl, I'm Gonna Miss You and Baby, Don't Forget My Number, which all hit number one and All or Nothing peaked at number four. They were everywhere. So Milli Vanilli was a huge sensation. I wanna wait. I don't know if we'll get sued by Frank or whoever the fuck actually owns the song. But I need to know, I truly need to know, cuz I've never heard a Milli Vanilli song.

• 35:24Speaker 07

  Which one is this?

• 35:25Laci Mosley?

  Girl, You Know It's True?

• 35:26Speaker 07

  Oh, yeah.

• 35:28Laci Mosley?

  Why are they talking?

• 35:30Speaker 07

  Cuz it was the 90s.

• 35:31Laci Mosley?

  So is this a skit?

• 35:32Speaker 07

They gotta, they intro every song. Here it comes. Yep. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.

• 35:39Laci Mosley?

  Okay. Okay.

• 35:42Speaker 07

Let that shit rock for a second. Hey.

• 35:45Laci Mosley?

Okay, where's the song though? This is all intro.

• 35:48Speaker 07

You know how the 90s was.

• 35:51Laci Mosley?

  All intro, no song.

• 35:52Speaker 07

  All intro, no song.

• 35:55Laci Mosley?

  Where is the song?

• 35:57Speaker 07

  It's coming, girl.

• 35:59Laci Mosley?

It's taking way too long to get here.

• 36:03Laci Mosley?

Not Chelsea dancing in the booth?

• 36:07Laci Mosley?

That's the rapper. I'm turning this off. So that's Charles Shaw. Wow, that's Shaw. Oh goodness, that's terrible. So basically, they blew the fuck up, right?

• 36:17Speaker 07

  Yup.

• 36:18Laci Mosley?

  And every time-

• 36:18Speaker 07

And hold on, I just want to tell you, like, I was alive. They blew the fuck up. They were on everything, everywhere. Like, they were the shit.

• 36:28Laci Mosley?

What do you think contributed to their success? Are they hot?

• 36:31Speaker 07

They're fucking hot, they're models. They were both, that's, that's also how, what we learned about them is that they were models. They're hot.

• 36:38Laci Mosley?

  Really? Let me see.

• 36:40Speaker 07

  Both of them.

• 36:41Laci Mosley?

I'm looking right now to see if they're hot, if I think that they're hot. Okay, they have this wild hair. One of them has like very strong bone structure.

• 36:50Speaker 07

  Yup, yup.

• 36:52Laci Mosley?

I mean, they are giving the girls fashion.

• 36:55Speaker 07

And they were like a whole scene, they were a whole vibe, too.

• 36:58Laci Mosley?

Yeah, oh, and they, they were in the eyeliner and Millie or Vanilli, I don't know which one, but he was rocking a lot of concealer.

• 37:04Speaker 07

He, it was like a whole, they were, yeah. And then, it's so funny because they look so much alike, but apparently they're not related.

• 37:11Laci Mosley?

Related at all? Okay, wow, he got crochet braids in this.

• 37:19Laci Mosley?

Lord Jesus, okay, so, this is a quote from Morvahn from Millie Vanilli. He says, "Every time we gave an interview, the reporters would hear my French accent or Rob's German accent, and they'd say, 'No way, how could these guys have sung these songs?'" Well, obviously, they never heard of Craig David.

• 37:36Speaker 07

  Right?

• 37:37Laci Mosley?

  Or, or Adele.

• 37:39Speaker 07

  Or-

• 37:40Laci Mosley?

Adele, like, "Hello?" And then she'd get off the record and be like-

• 37:43Speaker 07

  "Oy, oy, oy."

• 37:46Laci Mosley?

"Why, someone go get me! Go get me fish and chips."

• 37:49Speaker 07

  Like, that Cockney accent.

• 37:52Laci Mosley?

They even had dialect specialists brought in, paid by the record company to try to help the situation. But Fast Fame didn't make it easy. So they blew up so fast that they didn't have time to like,

• 38:02Speaker 07

  Yup.

• 38:02Laci Mosley?

fix their accents. Which nowadays, I feel like you could have a strong French accent or German accent and still sing in an American one and nobody would be the wisest.

• 38:10Speaker 07

I have to say, I'm actually surprised that that was even an issue.

• 38:13Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 38:14Speaker 07

Because, like I said, like Ace of Base was around this time too. And they had, you know, you know, they had their like Northern European accent and whatever.

• 38:23Laci Mosley?

Oh my god. So we didn't, so basically they said, we didn't want to do any more interviews. Pilatus added, the more we talked, the worse things got. Their former manager recalled the situation to Billboard, saying, "I remember there were some words, some words that Fab couldn't pronounce. He had a pretty thick French Guadeloupe and accent." Oh, French Guadeloupe, and okay, so he had accents, accents.

• 38:46Laci Mosley?

So on the "Girl, I'm gonna miss you," he couldn't say "miss," and he would say "miss." He would say, "Girl, I'm gonna miss you."

• 38:53Speaker 07

  Miss you.

• 38:54Laci Mosley?

Miss you. You think it was, you say "me" or "miss?"

• 38:56Speaker 07

  Come on, French "miss."

• 38:58Laci Mosley?

  Oh, right.

• 38:58Speaker 07

  I miss you.

• 38:59Laci Mosley?

  I miss you.

• 38:59Speaker 07

  Hey, I miss you.

• 39:01Laci Mosley?

  That's hot.

• 39:02Speaker 07

  I'm okay with it.

• 39:02Laci Mosley?

I'm okay with that. But I guess the issue is, is like, if you can't say "miss" as you say it on the song, because I'm not gonna say "one's right or wrong." But if you can't pronounce it the same way that you pronounced it on the song, then people are like, hmm.

• 39:14Speaker 07

  Interesting.

• 39:15Laci Mosley?

Interesting, because you sang it like "miss."

• 39:18Speaker 07

  You sang this, right?

• 39:24Laci Mosley?

My true question is, why do we care? I love chaos. I'm like, why do we care? Like, let Milli Vanilli keep, like, they could dance, right?

• 39:32Speaker 07

They could dance their asses off. And they was, when I tell you-

• 39:35Laci Mosley?

  Why is it not enough?

• 39:36Speaker 07

And there it is. They were gorgeous. They could dance their asses off. And they, they didn't start no trouble.

• 39:45Speaker 07

They were willing to let somebody take over their lives. Force them into

• 39:53Speaker 07

them into labor they didn't agree with.

• 39:57Speaker 07

And they kept, you know, they showed up every day.

• 40:00Laci Mosley?

I love them. I love them so much.

• 40:02Speaker 07

They showed up to the recording studio.

• 40:05Laci Mosley?

And what's interesting here is like Milli Vanilli took so much shit. Like, the only reason I know of Milli Vanilli is because of the joke of like, oh, these guys were imposters. However, they were not the ones who orchestrated these scams. They were at, in the projects. And like, and, and someone came and was like.

• 40:26Speaker 07

They were on, in the projects, chilling on the stoop.

• 40:29Laci Mosley?

  We are moving on up.

• 40:31Speaker 07

  Moving on.

• 40:32Laci Mosley?

To the east side. We finally got the peace of the.

• 40:39Speaker 07

Is that the German or the French guy?

• 40:40Laci Mosley?

  I don't know.

• 40:41Speaker 07

Because I was gonna do the other one. I don't know.

• 40:42Laci Mosley?

I was trying to do French and it's terrible. But like, they literally were just chilling and somebody was like, hey, $4,000 and you get to go to a pool every Tuesday to pretend that you're singing.

• 40:52Speaker 07

Think about like what a great, exactly. This is a great gig. They have to literally just show up and they're just getting paid. Paid.

• 41:00Laci Mosley?

Right. And it's a shitty record deal. Of course, it's probably 360 where they own your whole booty hole. But, but they had nothing for that.

• 41:08Speaker 07

  Also.

• 41:08Laci Mosley?

And they weren't planning to be singers.

• 41:10Speaker 07

Also, like, the company owns everything, but it never was yours to begin with.

• 41:16Laci Mosley?

Like, truly, you should only sign a 360 deal if you are Milli Vanilli. Because like, if you can't sing or contribute anything but like beautiful looks, I don't know, though. You should still get some more coins for that because it was the face.

• 41:27Speaker 07

  They can dance too.

• 41:28Laci Mosley?

Because think about it, Frank's face wasn't bringing in them coins.

• 41:35Speaker 07

Yo, shout out to, what's his name? Let me look it up again. Frank Farian.

• 41:38Laci Mosley?

Shout out to Frank. But he wasn't gonna bring no coins in. So, but I do feel bad for Milli Vanilli because they took the hit. They weren't either the people who made the name. They weren't the people who made the music. They were just trying to get out of a bad situation and now they're the laughing stock, even though they weren't the bad guys. Guys.

• 41:54Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 41:55Laci Mosley?

I don't know about Frank Ferri-- what the fuck is that nigga's name?

• 41:58Speaker 07

I don't know any of their names.

• 41:59Laci Mosley?

Frank Farian, I don't know him. I don't know that girl.

• 42:01Speaker 07

I don't even know Milli Vanilli's name. I just know Millie and Vanilli.

• 42:04Laci Mosley?

Right. So I feel bad because I never knew Frank was pulling these strings. I was just laughing at Milli Vanilli. Robbery!

So on July 21st, 1989, while on the Club MTV Tour in Bristol, Connecticut. Wow, have your life fall apart in Bristol, Connecticut. That's tragic. Like, I can't imagine a more sad place to have your life fall apart.

• 44:44Speaker 07

I almost spit on my shit everywhere, not Bristol.

• 44:47Laci Mosley?

So Pilatus, you know Bristol, you know the girls keep it real in Bristol, Connecticut.

• 44:52Speaker 07

  B-town, baby.

• 44:53Laci Mosley?

B-town, baby. We'll be having that shit. You're in the hood now, baby.

• 44:58Speaker 07

Of Connecticut. Although, there are some really hood parts of Connecticut.

• 45:02Laci Mosley?

So Pilatus and Fab Morviron, Morvahn, sorry, I'm fucking y'all names.

• 45:08Laci Mosley?

They were singing their mega hit, Girl, You Know It's True, which we just heard, which is mostly intro, which makes sense. It makes sense to me because I'm like, okay, y'all can't sing, so we're just gonna have a lot of intro. Um, I'm not mad at it.

• 45:22Speaker 07

That's a lot of good math right there.

• 45:24Laci Mosley?

So they're singing this when their live backtracking began to skip.

• 45:30Speaker 07

It was, and I just, again, first person point of view, it was like a national, international story. It was like, when this happened, everybody's like, did y'all hear that Milli Vanilli's track started skipping? And they're not actually, it was a fucking scandal.

• 45:46Laci Mosley?

The fucking BBC is like, tonight, Milli Vanilli, a fraud.

• 45:53Speaker 07

Now, I know you don't recognize me because my singing voice is very different.

• 45:56Laci Mosley?

Very different, okay. I know that when I sing, I sound like 21 Savage. And I am the same person because 21 Savage is British.

• 46:05Laci Mosley?

I love that 21 Savage's British. I love it so much. He's like, 21, it's a knife. But then he like, can I have some stones? Like, that's what I imagine 21 Savage at home. He's like, bring me the blicky. That's what I think is happening.

• 46:20Speaker 07

  What's a blicky?

• 46:20Laci Mosley?

  That's a gun.

• 46:22Speaker 07

  Oh.

• 46:22Laci Mosley?

Yeah, that's how the, what the kids call firearms.

• 46:25Speaker 07

The British gun, the British kids.

• 46:27Laci Mosley?

  No, the black ones.

• 46:28Speaker 07

The Negroes in America call it a blicky?

• 46:30Laci Mosley?

Yes, they call it a blicky with a sticky and a blicky.

• 46:32Speaker 07

Oh, well, that makes sense now.

• 46:35Laci Mosley?

So, I, I just think this is so fascinating because they ran offstage. Do we have a clip of them like running offstage?

• 46:42Speaker 07

Yeah, it was like a, a thing. It was, I wanna, I wanna, I just need you guys to hear the hook.

• 46:47Laci Mosley?

Oh my God, cuz I'd never heard the hook. Um, I'm about to, while you're doing that, I'm gonna pull up this damn video of them running off of the stage when their backing began to skip because I need to fucking know. I think that personally, they shouldn't have run away. Like, this is a moment where you gotta stand up like Patti LaBelle and be like, my music is skipping.

• 47:08Speaker 07

You asking way too much for, for two Negroes from the fucking projects who don't actually sing. She said, you need to, they're not performers.

• 47:17Laci Mosley?

But by this time, they weren't ready?

• 47:22Speaker 09

I wanted to die. It stopped. Girl, you know it's, girl, you know it's, girl, eighty thousand people. Girl, you know it's, girl, you, you know, I couldn't repeat it fifteen times. Girl, you, you got a weird feeling. So I stopped, I panicked, I ran offstage.

• 47:40Speaker 09

Truly Brown, who used to work for MTV, ran after me. I didn't wanna go back to stage. I had enough. Eighty thousand people waiting.

• 47:47Laci Mosley?

He said, I did not want to go back to stage. And I get it. I feel you. I don't know if this is Millie or Vanilli who's talking. I'm gonna guess Vanilli cuz he's blonde.

• 47:59Laci Mosley?

So I'm gonna guess I was Vanilli talking, but he said, I did not want to go back to stage. I said, no more stage. Please, please, no more stage.

• 48:09Laci Mosley?

I'm bad at accents, that's my scam. The place, no more stage. I think if he had stayed on stage and just been like, "The track is skipping."

• 48:17Speaker 07

Okay. Just imagine you are a black person in Germany, living in the projects. Some random white dude shows up, offering $4,000. Flash forward, you don't even know what happened, it's three years later, you're onstage. You're asking way too much, honey. That's too much, they're not real performers. You gotta remember, you're a performer, like, we would know what to do.

• 48:40Laci Mosley?

But they've been performing for long enough that you don't think they can develop some skills? And they were already dancers.

• 48:45Speaker 07

Were they real dancers? Or were they just black people who can dance?

• 48:50Laci Mosley?

  What is the difference?

• 48:52Speaker 07

  I don't know.

• 48:55Laci Mosley?

I don't know, I don't know if they were real dancers or black people who could dance. I consider myself to be a black person who can dance.

• 49:02Speaker 07

I'm a black person who can dance, but I am not a real dancer. Hit me some choreography, it's a wrap.

• 49:06Laci Mosley?

No. But I am a black person who can dance.

• 49:08Speaker 07

You can fuck the shit out of some shit.

• 49:10Laci Mosley?

Listen, I'm so sore right now.

• 49:13Laci Mosley?

So, I truly don't know. But I just feel like, as a scam, okay, yes, they're adjacent to the scam. Yes, they weren't the people who created it. But they are willing participants. They have-

• 49:25Speaker 07

  I don't think they're adjacent. When you're a willing participant, that's not adjacency.

• 49:31Laci Mosley?

Okay, but they didn't make the scam up. So it's like, if you throw a rock in the scam, yeah, you hit them. You would hit them if you threw a rock, but they're not like the can.

• 49:39Speaker 07

  Okay.

• 49:40Laci Mosley?

Does that make sense? No. Thank you. No.

• 49:43Speaker 07

It's like, if you, it's like, it's like a run, it's like the getaway car, and then they ask you to get in, and then you get in, like, but you didn't actually rob the bank.

• 49:50Laci Mosley?

Yeah, you didn't rob the bank!

• 49:52Speaker 07

But why are you hanging out with these motherfuckers?

• 49:56Laci Mosley?

Okay, and they did keep the secret. Because obviously, while they're blowing up, they're not like, "We're not singing the songs." Like, they're not-

• 50:03Speaker 07

  We're not singing at all.

• 50:04Laci Mosley?

We're not singing. Oh, they don't sing. Um, they don't say that they don't sing. They don't say that. You're right. But, so that's what I'm saying is like, at this point, this has become your career. You got women fawning over you, men fawning over you, everybody, because you're hot.

• 50:20Speaker 07

How much sex they had during those years?

• 50:22Laci Mosley?

Right. Milli and Vanilli just sticking it.

• 50:24Speaker 07

  Sex in it.

• 50:25Laci Mosley?

So, like, they're getting everything. They're getting the fame. They're getting, like, the thing is, like, yeah, it's probably a shitty 360 deal, but they're probably getting so many free perks, hotels, cars, jewelry, like-

• 50:34Speaker 07

But it's not a shitty 360 when you don't do nothing.

• 50:38Laci Mosley?

Look, they brought the looks and the dance moves.

• 50:41Speaker 07

And in Hollywood, that's a lot.

• 50:42Laci Mosley?

That's a lot. Looks are a lot, bro. All the CW is, is hired models, okay? Everyone on the CW is just fucking hot. And they're like, get up there and say these words that we told you to say with your perky boobs. So, it, there's, you know what I mean?

• 50:57Speaker 07

  It's a fact.

• 50:58Laci Mosley?

So, I, I, I just feel like they should have tried to preserve the scam more. They should have stood there and been like, oh, our track is not working. MTV fixed track, like, you know? And everyone, that would have been fine.

• 51:11Speaker 07

I think really what we're seeing is, they couldn't do it anymore.

• 51:17Speaker 07

They just couldn't. And they were just like, we're done. I, like, you know what I mean? I think it was the end of the road.

• 51:25Laci Mosley?

Maybe they were constantly afraid that they were gonna get found out. Because they're not true scammers. And that's what it is. Is that Milli Vanilli weren't, and I want to, Milli Vanilli-

• 51:35Speaker 07

So it is their fault. They weren't true scammers.

• 51:39Laci Mosley?

I want you guys to come on the show. I love you so much. I just want to say, Milli Vanilli, I sympathize with you guys because you weren't pure of heart scammers. You were literally chilling at your project. And then this man, this really strange looking man came up and offered you $4,000. It is not your fault.

• 52:00Laci Mosley?

Scammers. Because if you were scammers, you would have rode this bitch till the wheels fell off. The fact that y'all were so nervous, because they were like, that's accents, that's accents. You're already nervous about the accent. Then finally, the music skips and you run offstage. Like, these niggas ran offstage like they were Usain Bolt. They were like, and we're out.

• 52:17Speaker 07

They were too good for the world. I, and that, that is the sad part of this story, is that one of them killed themselves. Yeah, they committed suicide because of this scandal. Yeah, you didn't know that?

• 52:28Laci Mosley?

  No!

• 52:31Speaker 07

Well, maybe it was an overdose. Well, the story, the story I heard was that he killed himself.

• 52:37Laci Mosley?

Yeah, it says Pilatus was found dead at thirty-three in Frankwood on April second nineteen ninety-eight of a suspected overdose. And they got famous in the nineties, so.

• 52:50Speaker 07

Yeah, and it was because it was like right after all this shit. Yeah, it was really fucking sad. And when you now like talking about this and understanding the breakdown of shit, it's like, oh, they, because I had always understood it to be that this was their idea, that they had whatever. I didn't know that they were basically pawns in the game.

• 53:06Laci Mosley?

Pinned out by this Frank guy.

• 53:08Speaker 07

  Which makes it extra sad.

• 53:09Laci Mosley?

And I never knew that either. So guys, share this with your friends, because I truly didn't know that Milli Vanilli wasn't the orchestrators of, you know, because there's so many Milli Vanilli jokes. Every fucking early two thousands, late nineties sitcom was like, Milli Vanilli, tongue in cheek wink. Also, there was a lot of weird Denzel references in the early two thousands, because I guess Denzel was like the Michael B. Jordan of that time.

• 53:30Speaker 07

  Oh, my God.

• 53:30Laci Mosley?

Um, and there were so many television shows, like, yeah, well, don't come over unless you're Denzel Washington, because I want him to fuck me.

• 53:38Speaker 07

They didn't say that on network, but you get the idea.

• 53:42Laci Mosley?

That and Morgan Freeman, Half and Half has a ton of references about, I'm rewatching Half and Half on Netflix, they have a ton of references that are like, oh, if it's Morgan Freeman, let me know, I'll come over and rub on him. I was like, he's the voice of God, like, what are we doing?

• 53:55Speaker 07

  Okay, that's weird.

• 53:56Laci Mosley?

It's weird, but so back to this really sad thing, Chelsea just informed us that he had had like addiction issues and that his death was formally ruled an accident.

• 54:07Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 54:07Laci Mosley?

Uh, but obviously, we don't know, we weren't there.

• 54:10Speaker 07

  I was.

• 54:12Laci Mosley?

  Priscilla.

• 54:12Speaker 07

  No, I wasn't.

• 54:13Laci Mosley?

So, um, but I do want to say, like, you know, addiction's nothing to joke about, suicide's nothing to joke about. I, uh, there's something I could hope that would make this more positive. However, I'm just like, damn, like, I wish that we had all known that this Frank guy was like the sick fuck who was like really controlling this, because this was his second attempt. Like, guys, Milli Vanilli was just the one that hit. He's been going to projects and being like, here's $4,000. And I will fucking make your face a star and you can just hang out in the pool while we record the album. So like, he's done this before, but this is the one that hit. So, and I know that we were all so mean. And here's the thing, too, is like, pre-Trump, pre-that-raggedy-bitch45.

• 54:57Laci Mosley?

And honestly, like, pre, like, the social media age, news was news for a long time. So, right now, if Milli Vanilli came out and they couldn't sing, we'd probably talk about that for, like, 16 hours on Twitter, if that, if the memes are slapping. So, yeah, of course, internet wasn't popping like that at the time. And so, everything word of mouth and everything in the news lasted so much longer. It was like dinner party conversation and conversation on the news and jokes and television shows. Like, things lasted longer because it wasn't like the raggedy orange bitch in office who literally had crack rocks flying out his nose, and that was news for two hours. Oh, my god. This hoe, Melania, turned into the Grinch and was like, fuck the Christmas, fuck the kids.

• 55:42Laci Mosley?

That was news for literally 30 minutes. Meanwhile, when Obama wore a tan suit, we was talking about that nigga for two weeks. My lord, he looked good. Right, or when, I just saw this on Twitter, and I missed this the first time around, but Barack Obama apparently called Kamala Harris fine. He said she was the best-looking woman in the Senate, or like, the best-looking Attorney General. Where, when was this? This was a few years back, and- They would've been a cute couple. Right, that was too much, too much light-skinned energy. Right, but they would've been a cute couple. But he said this, and everyone was like, that nigga must've been lit because it was completely unprompted.

• 56:25Speaker 07

  Um, Barry.

• 56:26Laci Mosley?

Barry got shit for it, but he talked about it at the Correspondence Center. He joked about it. So it was like, you know, Michelle was chilling. It was, everybody was laughing. But it's funny though, cause like, I truly didn't even know, but like those things used to last longer than the news cycle. And so if you're thinking about that as someone who's under duress, who's under stress, who wasn't the mastermind behind this fucked up shit. And then got dragged on television, film, radio, everywhere dragging. Like that would weigh on you.

• 56:53Speaker 07

Of course it would. I mean, and, and again, just to reiterate, it was a huge, I mean, when I tell you, it was a huge fucking story when this shit happened.

• 57:01Laci Mosley?

  Really?

• 57:01Speaker 07

Yeah, it was everywhere. I mean, like, I remember it. I remember being, you know, you know, seeing this and it was, and again, like you said, it's in all the shows, right? Every show talks about, even to this day, you can still make that Milli Vanilli reference. And only Gen Z won't know what's going on.

• 57:19Laci Mosley?

But I'm bummed for them because if they had just stayed on stage, it wouldn't have been this controversy.

• 57:26Speaker 07

I need you to stop trying to save Milli Vanilli. Can we just get that out there? I need you to stop. You're such a like, such a sleazy manager. Like, why didn't you just stay on stage?

• 57:38Laci Mosley?

I am a sleazy scam manager. I am. Um, cause they ran off and that's what made them look guilty. They looked like they were clearly lip syncing. They rushed offstage and the chorus continued to repeat over and over again. Which makes me think, because like, look, okay, it's back in the day, right? Technology, it really ain't shit. Um.

• 57:58Speaker 07

Okay, this was only like thirty years ago. Relax.

• 58:01Laci Mosley?

Okay, but if some shit is skipping, like y'all couldn't unplug the bitch, y'all couldn't turn the song off. Like, did someone sabotage Milli Vanilli? Was it Frank? Did Frank, was Frank like, oh, they got more fame than I ever could? And then he, did he, uh, Yolanda Saldivar them?

• 58:15Speaker 07

He what now? Is that what her name? Is that Selena? How did I know?

• 58:19Laci Mosley?

The woman who murdered Selena, who was the president of her fan club.

• 58:23Speaker 07

Oh, you say Yolanda, oh, Yolanda.

• 58:24Laci Mosley?

  Yolanda Saldivar.

• 58:25Speaker 07

Oh, I know. The fucked up Yolanda.

• 58:27Laci Mosley?

And fuck Yolanda Saldivar. She's still in jail. I think so.

• 58:31Speaker 07

Is she in jail for this?

• 58:32Laci Mosley?

Yeah, she been in jail, jail, and fuck her. You know, I honestly like feel bad for the actress who played Yolanda Saldivar, um, in the Selena movie with J Lo. Because whenever I think of Yolanda Saldivar, I think of that woman's face.

• 58:44Speaker 07

  Poor lady.

• 58:45Laci Mosley?

I don't think of the real Yolanda Saldivar.

• 58:47Speaker 07

Hopefully she had heavy makeup on. So she looks totally different in life.

• 58:50Laci Mosley?

No, she's very recognizable and I feel super bad for her. Cause I'm like, anytime I think of Yolanda Saldivar, I think of that bitch. And I'm calling her a bitch, she's just an actress.

• 59:01Speaker 07

She's a bitch and an actress.

• 59:03Laci Mosley?

Oh, she's still alive. She's 60 years old.

• 59:06Speaker 07

  Yolanda?

• 59:06Laci Mosley?

  Mm-hmm.

• 59:07Speaker 07

  Fuck that hoe.

• 59:08Laci Mosley?

Fuck that hoe. Fuck Yolanda and Donald Trump.

• 59:11Speaker 07

  Both of them.

• 59:11Laci Mosley?

Fuck both of them. So, ah, man, I really feel for them. So eventually it was exposed that they had never even sung on their six-time platinum album to begin with. Never, not a note, not a tune.

• 59:23Speaker 07

And that was the other thing is that they had, they won Grammys. Like, it was like, y'all were fucked from there. Like, can you imagine?

• 59:34Speaker 07

  Talk about a fucking whirlwind.

• 59:36Laci Mosley?

  Not a note.

• 59:37Speaker 07

And you, can you imagine that whirlwind?

• 59:40Laci Mosley?

How do you repo a Grammy? Does John Legend trip up to your house and he's like, "Oh, love you." "Grammys come with me." There's been so much singing on this episode, I'm so sorry, guys. It's all from me, too. I'm apologizing.

• 59:53Speaker 07

  I sang a little bit.

• 59:54Laci Mosley?

  But I won't stop.

• 59:57Speaker 07

And I'm like, I definitely sang as well, in addition to.

• 1:00:00Laci Mosley?

You did, but like, I feel like more necessary than my singing, which was like, I just feel like singing today.

• 1:00:07Laci Mosley?

Damn, I feel so bad. So they were exposed, guys, in November of 1990 as complete frauds, their Grammy was repo'd. They deboed their Grammy, snatched it right off their necks. And unfortunately, their careers were never able to bounce back, which makes sense because they never really had careers. It's like, it's hard to bounce back from like, something you never had. They went, they went back into the studio where they swam in the pool, but you know, they just couldn't make any more music.

• 1:00:34Speaker 07

No, they weren't allowed in that pool anymore. Frank was like, "Get the fuck out of here."

• 1:00:37Laci Mosley?

I think Frank is behind this. I'm gonna put a conspiracy theory out that Frank was the person who sabotaged Milli Vanilli.

• 1:00:44Speaker 07

  I support it.

• 1:00:45Laci Mosley?

I think he was hating on them, they got too big, he wasn't ready for that. And he sabotaged them.

• 1:00:52Speaker 07

  I believe it.

• 1:00:52Laci Mosley?

I feel like Frank came in and was like, "Milli Vanilli, let's hang out." And they're like, "Frank was the one to hang with you." "We have Zagorpus here, we want to be with Zagorpus." And he was like, "These bitches, I found them at the projects and I gave them $4,000."

• 1:01:06Speaker 07

Back to the projects for you.

• 1:01:08Laci Mosley?

  Oh.

• 1:01:09Speaker 07

  You know, they're horrible people.

• 1:01:11Laci Mosley?

So, scammer of the week. This is, this is perfect.

• 1:01:16Laci Mosley?

Students for Trump co-founder pleads guilty to scamming business out of forty-six thousand dollars.

• 1:01:23Speaker 07

  Fuck Donald Trump.

• 1:01:25Laci Mosley?

  Ay, fuck Donald Trump.

• 1:01:27Speaker 07

  Hey, what the show does?

• 1:01:28Laci Mosley?

  Fuck Donald Trump.

• 1:01:29Speaker 07

  Ay, hit the dance.

• 1:01:30Laci Mosley?

Fuck Donald Trump. Ow. Uh, so John Lambert, the co-founder of Students for Trump, pleaded guilty to scamming consumers and businesses out of forty-six thousand dollars by posting as a lawyer online and dispensing legal advice. We love a litigious lying king.

• 1:01:52Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 1:01:53Laci Mosley?

You can scam Trump supporters all you want. Like, I'm, I'm not against it.

• 1:01:57Speaker 07

  I'm for it.

• 1:01:57Laci Mosley?

Uh, I'm like, should I make some recount merch for Trump supporters?

• 1:02:01Speaker 07

Right? Like, how can you turn leg into a Trump supporter?

• 1:02:06Laci Mosley?

Leg has gone full Trump supporter.

• 1:02:08Speaker 07

Leg Trump twenty twenty. Trump leg. I don't know.

• 1:02:13Laci Mosley?

Kick Joe Biden out with the leg. I don't know, I just want to make money. So twenty-three-year-old Lambert went by Eric Pope, which...

• 1:02:23Speaker 07

Already, I'm not, I don't trust a nigga named Pope. You know who else is named Pope? Olivia. We don't fuck, she ain't, she ain't, she a shady bitch too.

• 1:02:30Laci Mosley?

Listen, we love, we stand, this is Olivia Pope's stand account, okay?

• 1:02:34Speaker 07

Okay, but she, she got some dirt on her hands.

• 1:02:37Laci Mosley?

I know, she did, she was fucking the Republican president. Wasn't that supposed to be based off Condoleezza Rice? Let me stop talking before I get sued. But Eric Pope, I love that. He was like watching Scandal, he's like, what do I call myself? Olivia Pope? Olive Pope? Olive a Pope?

• 1:02:51Speaker 07

I'm so close, I can feel it. Uh.

• 1:02:53Laci Mosley?

  Let's go Eric Pope.

• 1:02:56Laci Mosley?

So he pretended to be a New York-based attorney at a law firm called Pope and Dunn.

• 1:03:01Speaker 07

  That Dunn got you, though.

• 1:03:03Laci Mosley?

Dunn sounds like you work at the law.

• 1:03:05Speaker 07

  Dunn and Dunn.

• 1:03:07Laci Mosley?

Dunn and Dunn. So the Justice Department basically said this. He pleaded guilty in a New York federal court to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Are you an attorney? Judge Valerie Caproni asked the Tennessee native in court. The New York Post reported. No, your honor, Lambert said. That's crazy. He said, look, he said, I'm not an attorney. I just said that I worked at Pope and Dunn.

• 1:03:31Speaker 07

Yes, my last name is Pope.

• 1:03:33Laci Mosley?

  Look at the-

• 1:03:34Speaker 07

  I am the Pope of-

• 1:03:35Laci Mosley?

Davies and Mosley? Like, look, we work for Davies and Mosley. Now, we never said we were lawyers. Did I have Esquire on my emails or what? Yeah, but it don't mean just law.

• 1:03:45Speaker 07

Just because my card, my business card, says I'm a lawyer doesn't mean I really am, please. Come on.

• 1:03:50Laci Mosley?

  Come on now.

• 1:03:50Speaker 07

  Back up. Your Honor.

• 1:03:55Laci Mosley?

So, Lambert founded Students for Trump during the 2016 presidential election. He ran the scheme from August 2016 to April 2018 and made several appearances on news shows, prosecutors said. He created a fake website and claimed to have 15 years of experience in corporate patent law.

• 1:04:13Speaker 07

I'm just gonna go ahead and say, you don't have to be an expert to be on a news show. And I think Lacey Scam Goddess Mosley is proof positive of that.

• 1:04:26Laci Mosley?

Yeah, guys, don't trust experts on news shows, because I'm one of them.

• 1:04:34Laci Mosley?

I just- Yeah, you should not trust that.

• 1:04:37Speaker 07

Like- Got you rethinking your whole life.

• 1:04:40Laci Mosley?

Right, I'm gonna just tell y'all, point blank, as an expert on a news show.

• 1:04:45Speaker 07

  As an actual expert.

• 1:04:46Laci Mosley?

2020 on ABC retweets like videos of me like talking about scams. And I'm like, bro, yeah, don't trust none of that.

• 1:04:54Speaker 07

  Nope.

• 1:04:55Laci Mosley?

So, and I'm also very fascinated by that, because I'm like, y'all gonna come over here and listen, think y'all about to get some expert information. Look, we, I told y'all, I will tell y'all when I'm making stuff up. We do, Sherilyn Vera does research our facts, they are factual and actual. However, I do add Non Goya Adobo to the-

• 1:05:13Speaker 07

I just wanna say, anytime someone rhymes their defense, factual and actual. Because if the glove don't fit-

• 1:05:23Laci Mosley?

You must acquit. Yeah, you should know they lying. If you gotta rhyme, if you gotta hit niggas with razzle dazzle for the truth-

• 1:05:33Speaker 07

  No razzle dazzle.

• 1:05:35Laci Mosley?

They are lying. We threw some rhymes for some razzle dazzle. If you gotta throw razzle dazzle in, nigga, you lying.

• 1:05:43Speaker 07

Don't make it rhyme, that's all that matters.

• 1:05:45Laci Mosley?

So they also alleged that Lambert pretended to be a graduate of NYU's law school, which, you know, another scam. But yeah, no, seriously, like, I don't know how I feel about the scam because I'm just like, yeah, scam Trump supporters, seems fair, seems totally right.

• 1:06:01Speaker 07

So here's what, okay, so here's my thing about the scam. Again, I'm with you. I don't know how to feel. And the only reason why I don't know how to feel is because I'm like, was this guy scamming Trump supporters, but he also was a Trump supporter? You understand what I'm saying? Like, was he just scamming his fellow people? Because that is very Trumpian, you know what I'm saying?

• 1:06:21Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 1:06:22Speaker 07

Or was he really on our side and, you know, scamming Trumpers as a, as a lefty, as a radical, as a progressive, whatever you want to call us in 2020? That's the question. If he was a Trump supporter, then fuck him. But if he wasn't, then I'm gonna put some money on his books. Because he's in jail, right?

• 1:06:48Laci Mosley?

No, we don't know if he's in jail. Let's figure out if he's in jail right now. I'm about to find out that. We did get some information on this Lambert character. And unfortunately, he is a Trump supporter. He actually did have involvement in a student organization that was supporting Trump. He just decided to lie and say that he was a lawyer and scam $46,000 from people. So I'm disappointed in you.

• 1:07:12Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 1:07:12Laci Mosley?

  John.

• 1:07:13Speaker 07

  Now I'm mad at you.

• 1:07:14Laci Mosley?

And honestly, I think if you hadn't have been a Trump supporter, you probably would have made more money. Just saying. Like, if you had been scamming this from a better place in your heart.

• 1:07:26Speaker 07

Because when you scam, it has to come from the altruistic part of your heart.

• 1:07:31Laci Mosley?

At least if you're scamming degenerates. It has to like, yeah. And look, I get it. Like, nobody wants to be called a degenerate for voting for Donald Trump.

• 1:07:40Speaker 07

I gotta, I don't want to be in the gutter.

• 1:07:43Laci Mosley?

Honestly, I'd say if you voted for Trump the first time around, and you were like, oh, a Republican, okay, he's kind of fucked up. But, you know, a lot of Republicans are, and Democrats, let's be honest. I'll let you rock with that. But after four years of this raggedy bitch, a whole pandemic, and all the raggedy ass shit he's done, and you still voted for him?

• 1:08:00Speaker 07

Not only did you still vote for him, but you were like, let's, let's vote in higher percentages.

• 1:08:04Laci Mosley?

Yeah, okay. White women, before I go, y'all went from 53% to 55.

• 1:08:11Speaker 07

  How dare you?

• 1:08:12Laci Mosley?

  What happened?

• 1:08:14Speaker 07

  We

• 1:08:14Laci Mosley?

  I went on Amazon.

• 1:08:16Speaker 07

  And you did this.

• 1:08:17Laci Mosley?

And the Karen wigs were sold out. I think the Karens assembled. They said, you're gonna call us Karens old, then we're gonna.

• 1:08:22Speaker 07

Show you what a Karen really does.

• 1:08:25Laci Mosley?

They assembled like a fucking Power Rangers. They were like, it's morphin' time. And they all put on their spiky wigs with the bang swooped to the right. And they voted against all their self-interests. Guys, uh, please, talk to your family members. You can't, if you're a liberal and you enjoy this show, especially because you know, I'm a blackity-black woman, um, you have to talk to your family. Please don't spend any more time posturing on Twitter or talking to your black friends about how bad the world is.

• 1:08:52Speaker 07

  Okay.

• 1:08:52Laci Mosley?

We know. But if you're really an ally, guys, get out there and spread the good gospel to your cousins, your aunties, your problematic uncles.

• 1:08:59Speaker 07

  Get to fucking work.

• 1:09:00Laci Mosley?

Don't let Uncle Chris tell that weird racist joke he tells every Thanksgiving that you all politely laugh at. Like, guys, we have to, we have to do the work.

• 1:09:08Speaker 07

The work is just beginning. Yes, we have won this battle, but this is a fucking war. And the war is for the conscience of this nation, and we have never gotten it right.

• 1:09:18Laci Mosley?

And don't think that black people are doing this work too. You think I don't have cousins who believe T.I. when he said that if you drink boiling hot water, the virus will get burnt out of your throat and you won't get coronavirus? I absolutely do have to talk to those people. I have hotep uncles and aunties who think that milk will stop you from getting your period. And guess what? I get on Facebook and I'm like, hey, Uncle so-and-so, that's not true. I know T.I. told you to invest in Bitcoin and also that you could sanitize your throat for coronavirus, but he lied. I have to do that, so so do you.

• 1:09:49Speaker 07

We are, we are all doing the work. It's hard.

• 1:09:54Laci Mosley?

Right. And you gotta come from a non-petentious place. You gotta come from a like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I also love Louis Farrakhan, anyway.

• 1:10:02Speaker 07

Honestly, he's woke as fuck, minus all his other bullshit.

• 1:10:05Laci Mosley?

Minus all the wild shit that he says. Oh, you know what I mean? You gotta be like, oh, yeah, Dr. Umar's less sermon, lit. Anyways, let's talk about.

• 1:10:16Laci Mosley?

Let's talk about how you're severely misguided. Um, but all right, guys, we're gonna get out of here. Um, congregation. Wait, do you have anything you want to plug?

• 1:10:26Speaker 07

Yes, I do. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

• 1:10:29Laci Mosley?

This thing is trash. I'm so sorry.

• 1:10:31Speaker 07

Um, no, I actually, uh, I guess at this point, do I have anything to plug? Not right now. It's the coronavirus.

• 1:10:37Laci Mosley?

  You plug your socials.

• 1:10:38Speaker 07

Oh, that's right. Okay. Come find me on Instagram, @priscilladavesactor. P-R-I-S-C-I-L-L-A-D-A-V-I-E-S actor. Just rewind this four times. And on Twitter, you can find me @QOTDesert, as in Queen of the Desert.

• 1:10:59Laci Mosley?

I don't know why you made such a drastically different Twitter name. I'll say it one more time. QOTDesert. Because, guys, you're gonna need to hear it twice. Three times, QOTDesert. Um, guys, as always, email scamgoddispod at gmail.com. Snitch on your friends and family. Just make sure your scam is retired because we do not want to fuck up your bag. Scamgoddispod on all platforms, Twitter, Instagram. If you want to find me and my shenanigans, D-I-V-A-L-A-C-I-D, Velacy, on all platforms. Guys, please, if you have a thought or a criticism about the show, consider texting your group chat. I like, I'm a black woman and American. I'm already tired enough.

• 1:11:39Speaker 07

She's stressed, y'all. She already squared. Leave her alone.

• 1:11:41Laci Mosley?

And like, look, if it's something that you think is actually serious, think about that in your own head. Because I'm pretty woke and I listen to all these and I edit them. But if you really think it's serious, go ahead and jam me. Sometimes, you know, I'll listen. I'll be like, okay, I understand. Well, for most of y'all, leave me alone.

• 1:11:55Speaker 07

  Please stop.

• 1:11:57Speaker 07

  Also, um, fuck Donald Trump.

• 1:12:00Laci Mosley?

  Ooh, wait, I'm sorry. I didn't, I didn't hear you.

• 1:12:04Speaker 07

  What I said was...

• 1:12:13Laci Mosley?

Listen to that, ride out to that, guys. Congregation, stay scheming.

• 1:12:22Laci Mosley?

This has been an Earwolf Production in association with Team Coco. Scam Goddess is starring me, duh, Scam Goddess, AKA Lacey Mosley. Scam Goddess is produced by Chelsea Jacobson and engineered by Marina Baiz, with research by Sherilyn Vera. Stay scheming.
