• 1:50Tig Notaro?

Welcome to the Handsome Pod. It's me, your very dear friend Tig Notaro, sitting here with my co-host.

• 1:58Mae Martin?

Your close, personal friend, Mae Martin.

• 2:01Tig Notaro?

  Hello, May.

• 2:02Mae Martin?

  Hello Tig.

• 2:04Tig Notaro?

Now, tell me what is going on behind you?

• 2:08Mae Martin?

Oh, this is the same old thing. This pile of clothes, they're all gonna get donated. I was gonna sell them. My friend who lives in my back house was gonna sell them and, and keep the cash. But nobody wants to buy them on Facebook Marketplace, so we're gonna, we're gonna just donate.

• 2:24Tig Notaro?

I have a new idea. Oh, donation is great.

• 2:27Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 2:27Tig Notaro?

But you could also promote this online, that it's just a mixed bag of random stuff from Mae Martin. And yeah, and so you, you pay a certain amount of money that you know is gonna go to charity.

• 2:42Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 2:42Tig Notaro?

And, and it's just a mixed bag. You just, you get it in the mail and, oh my gosh, there is a shoe, there's a bow tie, there's a mustache, there's a toothbrush.

• 2:52Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 2:52Tig Notaro?

  There's one sock.

• 2:54Mae Martin?

  A piece of quartz.

• 2:55Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 2:55Mae Martin?

A blazer. Yeah. That's a good idea. I like that. I mean, I'm already like, I'm, it's a hive of industry here with these like animal books I'm sending out. It's crazy. My house is so full of stuff.

• 3:08Tig Notaro?

And how, how is home owning going all these months later?

• 3:13Mae Martin?

I just am not here enough, but I have big, I got big plans. I, you know, I'm gonna get an ice plunge, maybe, or...

• 3:20Tig Notaro?

I thought you were saying ice skating rink.

• 3:22Mae Martin?

  I, I wouldn't be shocked.

• 3:25Tig Notaro?

  I wouldn't either.

• 3:27Mae Martin?

I, you know what? I got a dartboard, a professional dartboard, and I'm gonna put it outside and...

• 3:32Tig Notaro?

  What makes it professional?

• 3:34Mae Martin?

Well, the, I think the quality, it's dense cork and...

• 3:39Tig Notaro?

  Sharp, sharp metal.

• 3:42Mae Martin?

  Sharp darts.

• 3:43Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 3:44Mae Martin?

I might become one of those people with like personalized darts and, yeah. Do you play, have you played darts? I imagine you'd be weirdly good at it, like Bullseye.

• 3:51Tig Notaro?

I have played darts. In fact, when I was in Toronto for season one of Starfleet Academy, this isn't darts, but it's a, it's a brutal version of darts. I was doing axe throwing at targets for charity.

• 4:07Mae Martin?

And did you find it intuitive?

• 4:10Tig Notaro?

Yeah, yeah. It's have you thrown an axe?

• 4:13Mae Martin?

  Never, never done it.

• 4:15Tig Notaro?

Nor had I, my friend. And it was, it was really fun and satisfying.

• 4:21Mae Martin?

Yeah, the sound when it thunk into the.

• 4:23Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 4:24Mae Martin?

Yeah. Were you throwing them just at a target or at like a?

• 4:27Tig Notaro?

At a target. Yeah, it was like a, it was a bullseye.

• 4:30Mae Martin?

  Oh, cool.

• 4:31Tig Notaro?

  Mm hmm.

• 4:32Mae Martin?

  Okay, that's good.

• 4:33Tig Notaro?

Mm hmm. But I've also done the sharp metal darts and I've also done the Velcro darts, which Max and Finn have.

• 4:43Mae Martin?

Okay. I just like the idea of with darts, you can stay very still and then it's just like a flick of the wrist. And oh, man, one time my mom threw one, it went in the bullseye. Then she threw another one and it stuck into the back of that dart. It was like, you had to see it to believe it. I have a photo of it. It was like.

• 5:01Tig Notaro?

I don't think I'd even believe it if I saw it. I'll be honest.

• 5:04Mae Martin?

On bullseye. It was crazy. Mic drop moment from Wendy.

• 5:08Tig Notaro?

  Wow.

• 5:09Mae Martin?

Yeah. But I had to get a dartboard because foosball has become too competitive. And we started, we're drifting into dangerous territory because we started putting like five bucks on a game kind of thing.

• 5:19Tig Notaro?

  Oh, may.

• 5:20Mae Martin?

I know. And we've, we've introduced money and so we've got to take a break.

• 5:24Tig Notaro?

Not only that, but high stakes.

• 5:26Mae Martin?

I know. And I, and I lose every time. So, yeah. Now it's going to be darts for a while.

• 5:33Tig Notaro?

Okay. Well, um, I'm open to you going pro.

• 5:38Mae Martin?

Thank you. In one of those shiny acrylic shirts.

• 5:43Tig Notaro?

I don't know what people wear in the world of darts, but they're shiny.

• 5:48Mae Martin?

I feel like they're dressed kind of like bowlers, like they wear, yeah, shiny shirts. Maybe they have sort of glasses and I feel like it's the only professional sport where you can like nurse a beer while you do it. Like, I swear they, it's like part of the culture.

• 6:03Tig Notaro?

I feel like people do that with golf, right?

• 6:05Mae Martin?

  Do they?

• 6:06Tig Notaro?

You're on the course, maybe have like a little cooler of beer. I don't know. I really don't know.

• 6:13Mae Martin?

Fortune will tell us soon with her, um, her new job as a caddy.

• 6:18Tig Notaro?

  Oh, right.

• 6:18Mae Martin?

  For Will Ferrell.

• 6:19Tig Notaro?

Wait, it's Fortune Golf. Like, um, yeah, well, I guess we'll find out.

• 6:26Mae Martin?

I mean, I got, I hate to add another thing to the list, but I would love to have you over to play darts.

• 6:30Tig Notaro?

  Not ice skate?

• 6:32Mae Martin?

Can you imagine? Just like the amount of energy it would take to keep that cold in LA too, like just

• 6:39Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 6:40Mae Martin?

This like deafening roar of the air conditioning and the freezer and the

• 6:44Tig Notaro?

It wouldn't be good for the environment.

• 6:46Mae Martin?

  No, it'd be bad.

• 6:48Tig Notaro?

No, no, no. Hmm. Oh, well, we can ask Fortune about that, too.

• 6:53Mae Martin?

  Yeah. About ice skating.

• 6:55Tig Notaro?

Yeah, I don't know. I'm sure she's working on a film about ice skating or something, you know?

• 6:59Mae Martin?

I have a question. Have you ever had a dream about me or Fortune?

• 7:03Tig Notaro?

  No, of course not.

• 7:06Mae Martin?

What do you mean, of course not?

• 7:09Mae Martin?

  We haven't penetrated your subconscious?

• 7:12Tig Notaro?

No, nothing has. I don't really have dreams often.

• 7:16Mae Martin?

  Oh, really?

• 7:17Tig Notaro?

Yeah, every now and then a little something happens and I'll wake up and I'll be like, oh, that was

• 7:25Tig Notaro?

  a slight dream, I guess.

• 7:26Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 7:27Tig Notaro?

What about you? You have vivid dreams.

• 7:29Mae Martin?

Yeah, and usually very literal about stuff going on in my life for like exes or family or, but I've never had a handsome dream. And I think that's because our relationship is very uncomplicated. There's nothing to work out in my subconscious. Like, it's a healthy relation.

• 7:46Tig Notaro?

Yeah, yeah, it's, it is what it seems to be.

• 7:50Mae Martin?

Yeah, yeah. Well, aside from all the simmering sexual tension, of course, which will one day explode.

• 7:57Tig Notaro?

Simmering sexual tension and simmering rage.

• 8:00Mae Martin?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 8:02Tig Notaro?

Yes, but um, yeah, so you feel like because there's not some sort of underlying drama that you're not dreaming.

• 8:13Mae Martin?

Well, when I dream, it's usually like a conversation I want to have with someone that I haven't. But I wouldn't, I'd love to have you guys pop up in a dream and just chat. Say hi. Say hi, you know what I mean?

• 8:25Tig Notaro?

So just to go back to that, there's not anything that, and maybe this isn't the place to do it, but there's not anything you want to like clear the air with me about or

• 8:35Mae Martin?

  Any grievances to air?

• 8:36Tig Notaro?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 8:37Mae Martin?

Um, let me, well, with Fortune, there's the lingering resentment about the Alanis Morris that incident.

• 8:42Tig Notaro?

Of course, that'll never go away. But on a serious level.

• 8:45Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 8:46Tig Notaro?

As serious as we can be on here. Is there something you wish I'd do differently or?

• 8:53Mae Martin?

No, I think I feel really respected and supported. You know, I'd love to spend more time together, frankly.

• 9:02Tig Notaro?

You know, that's not gonna happen.

• 9:04Mae Martin?

  Exactly, yeah.

• 9:05Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 9:06Mae Martin?

But no, what about you? Anything you want to air?

• 9:08Tig Notaro?

I don't feel comfortable on the show.

• 9:10Mae Martin?

  Okay, okay.

• 9:12Tig Notaro?

  Yes, of course.

• 9:12Mae Martin?

Your agent will reach out to mine.

• 9:14Tig Notaro?

Yes, yes. I'm actually without an agent.

• 9:17Mae Martin?

Oh, fuck. Yes. I didn't know this.

• 9:21Tig Notaro?

  Did you?

• 9:22Mae Martin?

Because my agents got nervous when they heard about that. Agents got nervous when they hear about people dropping their, or going agent free. And so they were like, I think that they're like, so, but, but we're good, right?

• 9:36Tig Notaro?

  That's hilarious.

• 9:37Mae Martin?

  I know, I know.

• 9:38Tig Notaro?

  That is so funny.

• 9:40Mae Martin?

  They're worried it'll be contagious.

• 9:42Tig Notaro?

I was just ready to, um, to just kind of set sail in a new direction and, um, you know, no hard feelings.

• 9:54Tig Notaro?

And, um, you know, I still want to work, but I just, um, I just, I just wanted to go in a new direction.

• 10:02Mae Martin?

Yeah. And it's tough when you're generating your own projects and stuff too. It is kind of like, yeah, but I bet, I bet those agents are dreaming about you now.

• 10:13Mae Martin?

Should we get to a question?

• 10:14Tig Notaro?

  I think we should.

• 10:15Speaker 04

Hi, everybody. My name is Megan and I am gonna ask you a question. Here it is.

• 10:24Tig Notaro?

  Can't wait.

• 10:24Speaker 04

Can you name your favorite ghost?

• 10:28Tig Notaro?

  My favorite ghost?

• 10:30Mae Martin?

  I love that question.

• 10:32Tig Notaro?

But, but, but, but, but am I hearing that correctly? My, my favorite ghost?

• 10:36Mae Martin?

Yeah. You know what I'm thinking about that song by, is it Kate? Kate, I'm running up that hill.

• 10:44Tig Notaro?

  Uh huh, Kate Bush?

• 10:45Mae Martin?

Yeah, Kate Bush. Isn't that about like the ghost in Wuthering Heights or something?

• 10:49Tig Notaro?

  I don't know, but it's a phenomenal song.

• 10:51Mae Martin?

  Yeah. Hmm.

• 10:53Tig Notaro?

  Is that your favorite ghost?

• 10:55Mae Martin?

No, no. My favorite ghost has got to be the telltale heart one. And, you know, um, Edgar Allan Poe wrote that story. There's like a, he hears, I think he murdered someone, this guy, and he hears the beating heart from under his floorboards.

• 11:12Mae Martin?

And like, when the cops come, he's so afraid they're gonna hear the beating heart. And so I, I think that ghost had it right. It was like, really messed with someone who, who killed you. Torment them with your beating heart. I think that's a cheeky little ghost.

• 11:28Mae Martin?

  And I'm on board. Yeah.

• 11:29Tig Notaro?

  Okay.

• 11:30Mae Martin?

  What about you?

• 11:31Tig Notaro?

I don't, I mean, this question, this person is assuming I have.

• 11:38Mae Martin?

  A favorite ghost.

• 11:42Mae Martin?

Well, what, what are some ghosts? Like you got Casper.

• 11:45Tig Notaro?

I mean, Casper is the most famous ghost, right?

• 11:48Mae Martin?

Yeah, I think so. Oh, maybe Christmas past?

• 11:51Tig Notaro?

  I still feel like Casper.

• 11:56Tig Notaro?

Yeah, because I feel like no matter how old you are, you know about Casper.

• 12:00Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 12:00Tig Notaro?

Whereas maybe not everyone knows about Christmas past.

• 12:04Mae Martin?

  You're right.

• 12:06Tig Notaro?

  Until a certain age.

• 12:07Mae Martin?

  But is he your favorite?

• 12:10Tig Notaro?

Well, that's the thing is it's like, they all fall in the same category of, who gives a shit?

• 12:20Mae Martin?

Oh, you heard it here. Wait, but have you ever seen one?

• 12:23Tig Notaro?

  No.

• 12:24Mae Martin?

Okay, yeah, because that might be your favorite if you'd seen one. I haven't either, but.

• 12:28Tig Notaro?

I mean, I just don't know. You know, I think as I talked about on the Andrea Gibson episode, the Kristen Schaal episode, I feel Andrea in a different way than I felt anybody.

• 12:47Tig Notaro?

But I don't know that I see Andrea as a ghost.

• 12:51Mae Martin?

Yeah, that you would go so far as.

• 12:53Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 12:54Mae Martin?

  As to say ghost.

• 12:55Tig Notaro?

But I feel it's challenged my thoughts and beliefs about the afterlife.

• 13:05Tig Notaro?

Even, you know, I told you before we got started, Andrea's wife, Meg, is staying with me right now. And we had a conversation and a thing happen that was, we were just stunned the way things lined up and handed us over to something where we were all full of.

• 13:28Tig Notaro?

Goosebumps and tears. And, um, and that's just one of those examples of like, this is challenging me, but I just don't know.

• 13:39Mae Martin?

Yeah, I'm curious whether this person is gonna name like a famous ghost or one from their personal life.

• 13:45Tig Notaro?

I would say without a famous ghost attached to this conversation, I would say I love an old, old ghost rattling chains. Like, it's just so silly.

• 14:00Mae Martin?

Yeah, a classic where you're like, where'd you get those chains?

• 14:04Tig Notaro?

Yeah, why? Why are you doing that? And why'd you tell your friends to do that?

• 14:10Mae Martin?

Yeah. I don't mind a ghost that's dripping with weeds and stuff from, from the water. That's pretty good.

• 14:16Tig Notaro?

  Swamp.

• 14:16Mae Martin?

  Swamp ghost.

• 14:18Tig Notaro?

Also, do you become a ghost right when you die?

• 14:21Mae Martin?

  Only some, only some.

• 14:23Tig Notaro?

  Okay.

• 14:24Mae Martin?

Some, I think you get the choice, maybe, and they go.

• 14:27Tig Notaro?

Are you making things up, you know?

• 14:29Mae Martin?

  Well, yeah, of course.

• 14:30Tig Notaro?

Oh, yes, of course. Yes. And, and if I can.

• 14:35Mae Martin?

Yeah, the fact, the main fact is when you die, you get a choice. And they say, do you want to be a ghost? And if so, do you want some chains? Or do you just want to do your own thing?

• 14:50Tig Notaro?

  Okay.

• 14:55Mae Martin?

Shall we hear, let's hear Megan's answer.

• 14:57Tig Notaro?

Let's hear Megan's answer. And Megan, I apologize. I just, I don't, I'm not attached to this ghost thing.

• 15:06Speaker 04

My answer is no, because I have way too many and you get to listen to me list all of them. First is timer from Ghostbusters, the animated series, not the live action. Beetlejuice from the animated or the live action movie, animated series. And then Marley from A Christmas Carol, but specifically the performance by Statler and Waldorf in The Muppet Christmas Carol.

• 15:31Tig Notaro?

  Oh, my God.

• 15:33Speaker 04

Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense. I don't remember the character's name, but I do remember finding out he was the ghost of Being Shocked. Last, Casper. Just a legend.

• 15:44Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 15:45Speaker 04

Okay. I hope you loved my list. Thank you so much for answering my question.

• 15:50Tig Notaro?

  Absolutely, Megan.

• 15:52Mae Martin?

  Megan's listed every famous ghost.

• 15:55Tig Notaro?

  Yes.

• 15:56Mae Martin?

I love the, the, uh, the Muppet ghosts. That's true.

• 15:59Tig Notaro?

  Hmm. Yeah.

• 16:01Mae Martin?

And, and Casper made number one, basically.

• 16:04Tig Notaro?

Casper made number one. That sounds like, um, waste. Like, human waste. Made number one.

• 16:12Mae Martin?

Made number one. Yeah, very good.

• 16:13Tig Notaro?

Yes. Apologies for that addition. Um, yeah, I just do not feel attached to ghost stuff.

• 16:23Mae Martin?

Yeah. And then I, I, you know, if I was, if we had a ton of time, I'd want to dig into some of those that Megan listed and say, is Beetlejuice a ghost technically? Or is he a sort of de- demon that you summon? Like, you know?

• 16:38Tig Notaro?

  I'm.

• 16:39Mae Martin?

  You're out.

• 16:39Tig Notaro?

  I don't care.

• 16:42Tig Notaro?

Who cares? I, I don't care. And I'm, I'm sorry if I'm offending people that care about it. I just don't.

• 16:50Mae Martin?

Listen, there's something for everyone in this pod. You can send your lists of ghosts to me.

• 16:54Tig Notaro?

And you're okay with me being honest? I, do you think Meg- Megan is? Because she sounds like she would be open to me not caring.

• 17:01Mae Martin?

Oh, totally. I think in a way it's a badge of honor. People, people would be delighted by you not caring.

• 17:07Tig Notaro?

Okay. All right. Well, um, Mae Martin, should we, um, get one more question?

• 17:13Mae Martin?

  Well, Tig Notaro, yes, please.

• 17:16Tig Notaro?

  Thank you. Let's do it.

• 17:18Speaker 05

Hey Tig, May and Fortune. This is Kristen calling from North Carolina.

• 17:26Speaker 05

I just listened to one of your episodes and you said you love giving advice. So here's a twist on that. Let's say you were to meet yourself 10 years down the road. What advice would that 10 year older self give to each one of you?

• 17:42Tig Notaro?

Like 10, like, so 64, Jesus, 64 year old Tig. That's in 10 years, guys. 64 year old Tig. What advice would I give Tig, May and Fortune?

• 17:55Mae Martin?

Or give yourself, I think. Yeah.

• 17:58Tig Notaro?

  Oh, okay.

• 17:58Mae Martin?

Again, we're getting into the weeds with a whimsical question that requires some suspension of disbelief. But yeah, okay. Yeah, that is, okay, 10. I mean, in a way, that's just saying, what advice now do you need to hear? You know, you know what I mean?

• 18:17Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 18:18Mae Martin?

  And for me, it's always,

• 18:22Mae Martin?

  stop trying so hard.

• 18:26Mae Martin?

Wow, that came out of the depths of my soul.

• 18:29Tig Notaro?

  Well, that's good.

• 18:30Mae Martin?

Just in general, stop trying so like, just go lightly, you know? Let things roll and evolve and don't feel this like tension. Yeah. What about you?

• 18:44Tig Notaro?

Well, I guess like to go back to what you're saying, are you, are you saying like you, you need to have more of just faith in yourself?

• 18:50Mae Martin?

Yeah. And like, yeah, because I think the trying, the, the like trying and overthinking and stuff comes from like, a fear of failure, like what'll happen if I don't, if I don't try this hard that I'm like burning out, then I'm going to lose it all. Like, instead of just trusting, you know, that things will, what will be, will be. I don't know, that's a fine line.

• 19:16Tig Notaro?

  Mm hmm. For sure.

• 19:17Mae Martin?

You've got to try a bit.

• 19:18Tig Notaro?

For sure. For sure. Yeah. I like that.

• 19:22Mae Martin?

I'll probably spend more time with my parents, too. I mean, I see them a lot, considering we live in different cities, but I want to see them more.

• 19:30Tig Notaro?

  Mm hmm.

• 19:31Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 19:32Tig Notaro?

Yeah. That's good. I would say, I think that the time that I spend with people, whether it's my friends, Stephanie, my family, Max and Finn, just to really prioritize that, which I am in the process of, of doing. And in that time, to be present, more present than ever.

• 20:01Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 20:01Tig Notaro?

  And, um,

It's, you know, so overstated and it's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, of course. Everyone needs to spend more quality time and be present. But like, I really, um, you know, I have moments where I'm like, I'm walking through my life, doing things, I'm taking Max and Finn to baseball and picking them up from school and having dinner. And, and then I, you know, I'm always stopping and having to, my phone dings and, and I, just this morning, it bothered me when Finn was talking to me while I was returning an email. And I was like, hold on, hold on Finn, let me, let me, hold on, let me, let me respond to this. It just felt terrible.

• 20:48Mae Martin?

  Right, right.

• 20:49Tig Notaro?

And he patiently stood there and waited. There wasn't like a conflict, but inside of me, I was like, God, that feels so gross.

• 20:57Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 20:57Tig Notaro?

  You know?

• 20:58Mae Martin?

Yeah, you're right. It's so easy to say, but it is the main thing, right? Yeah.

• 21:02Tig Notaro?

  It really is.

• 21:03Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 21:03Tig Notaro?

And, and that when I'm, because I took him to a doctor's appointment this morning and just when we were waiting to go in, he had a question for me and I'm like, hold, hey, hold on Finn, hold on, let me, let me just respond to this.

• 21:18Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 21:19Tig Notaro?

And he was like, okay. And then I was like, ugh.

• 21:22Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 21:22Tig Notaro?

I didn't like, ugh, I don't like, not that I was saying it to him like, stop it. Let me finish it. It was just more of this distracted, like my phone buzzed and it's like, why am I, ugh, I should just not, and I don't respond to everything all the time as soon as it comes in.

• 21:38Mae Martin?

  Right.

• 21:38Tig Notaro?

Definitely let things pile up and respond to it later. But I just, it was a reminder of less of that, less of that.

• 21:48Mae Martin?

I used to really enjoy, like if I had a doctor's appointment and my, and my mom would take me or my dad, it would be a little outing and you like get a snack and you chat and you listen to shit in the car on the radio and it's just like a nice one-on-one time.

• 22:02Tig Notaro?

Max and Finn love it. They have like a little special day.

• 22:05Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 22:06Tig Notaro?

Because we go drop off one at school and then the other one leaves with us to go to the doctor's appointment and yeah, we'll usually stop and go to the bookstore or get a bagel or something and it ends up just being, just a tiny little special moment together.

• 22:23Mae Martin?

  Oh, love that.

• 22:24Tig Notaro?

  And so more of that.

• 22:26Mae Martin?

  Should we hear Kristen's answer?

• 22:27Tig Notaro?

  I think we should.

• 22:28Speaker 05

  So my answer is.

• 22:33Speaker 05

  Nurture your relationships.

• 22:36Mae Martin?

  Hey.

• 22:37Speaker 05

Life is short. Treat people with respect, kindness, and curiosity. That was my dog. He's out chasing deer. Love you all. Thank you for the love, light, and joy you bring into our lives every week.

• 22:53Mae Martin?

Love that. And also, the sound of those crunching footsteps.

• 22:56Tig Notaro?

  I know.

• 22:57Mae Martin?

Sounds like the opening of a true crime podcast. I'm walking through Des Moines, Iowa.

• 23:03Mae Martin?

  Whatever.

• 23:03Tig Notaro?

  Yeah.

• 23:03Mae Martin?

Des Moines? Yeah, I love that. After I had my premiere of my show in Toronto and afterwards, my friend just unexpectedly wrote me an email about it. And, you know, and people had texted or been like, congrats. But she sent me just the most thoughtful email. It was like three paragraphs, just like about our friendship. And it meant so much. And then I wrote back and I was like, God, that makes, that little thing makes such a difference.

• 23:31Tig Notaro?

Absolutely. It's so, it's so nice to take those moments and more of that, more of that, more of that.

• 23:39Mae Martin?

So next time I have to go to the dentist, will you take me and we'll have a little day?

• 23:44Tig Notaro?

Yeah, I'll take you to the bookstore and take you to get. Yeah, I'd take you to get a little blueberry bagel.

• 23:49Mae Martin?

  Oh, I'd love it.

• 23:51Tig Notaro?
