• 1:46Fortune Feimster?

  Pretty little episode.

• 1:49Fortune Feimster?

Welcome to the Handsome Pod. This is a pretty little episode where we're going to answer your questions. I am one of your handsome hosts, Mae Martin. I'm joined by the handsomest.

• 2:00Mae Martin?

  Fortune Feimster.

• 2:02Fortune Feimster?

  And of course, Thomas.

• 2:03Mae Martin?

May was rocking a sleep mask.

• 2:05Fortune Feimster?

I was. I thought that was a fun little gag. I put on a sleep mask.

• 2:10Mae Martin?

Do you sleep with a sleep mask on?

• 2:11Fortune Feimster?

Got to. But at the moment, the Airbnb I'm in has no curtains, so that's partly why, but yeah, in general.

• 2:18Mae Martin?

  Oh, no, I hate that.

• 2:19Fortune Feimster?

  I know, I know.

• 2:20Mae Martin?

Why does anyone have a room with no curtains?

• 2:23Fortune Feimster?

Get me some blackout curtains and let me be in the dark. I just stayed in a place where the entire house had no curtains.

• 2:30Mae Martin?

  Wild.

• 2:31Fortune Feimster?

And um, the, the house is, uh, it's on purpose. It's meant to wake up with the sun. Uh, which in theory, great.

• 2:39Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 2:39Fortune Feimster?

Wake up with the sun, start our days, sure. But we, when it's not handy is when you're like changing.

• 2:47Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 2:47Fortune Feimster?

  You know what I mean?

• 2:48Mae Martin?

  Walking by also like.

• 2:50Fortune Feimster?

  Yeah.

• 2:50Mae Martin?

Waking up with the sun doesn't take into account that we have phones. So if you think I'm not lying in bed for hours on my phone, eating Doritos.

• 2:59Fortune Feimster?

  Yeah.

• 2:59Mae Martin?

  Feeling emotions.

• 3:00Fortune Feimster?

  You're wrong.

• 3:01Mae Martin?

I'm going to bed late. Like it's really hard to go to bed when the sun goes down.

• 3:04Fortune Feimster?

Yeah, waking up with the sun means you're going to sleep a lot earlier.

• 3:08Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 3:09Fortune Feimster?

I am not an early sleep to bed gal and I um, definitely don't want to wake up with the sun.

• 3:16Mae Martin?

  No thanks.

• 3:17Fortune Feimster?

I also don't want to show my tiggle biddies.

• 3:20Mae Martin?

Show, yeah, oh, right, right. Yeah, yeah. No, you need, uh, you need some curtains.

• 3:25Fortune Feimster?

Yeah, nobody needs to be seeing this in, you know, like you're walking by drinking your coffee. You're like, oh. Yeah, I don't want to do that to anybody else.

• 3:34Mae Martin?

No, don't put your, no, listen. This is about your comfort.

• 3:38Fortune Feimster?

  Thank you.

• 3:39Mae Martin?

Yeah, everyone would be blessed to see that vision.

• 3:42Fortune Feimster?

And this place was like kinda more remote, but when there are other people staying in the house, you know?

• 3:47Mae Martin?

Yeah. Whenever I, I see those like on Instagram, like architectural homes that are, I'm like, I don't think I would, they're beautiful, but I don't know.

• 3:55Fortune Feimster?

  You know what else?

• 3:56Mae Martin?

  What?

• 3:57Fortune Feimster?

  Skylights in the bedroom? No.

• 3:59Mae Martin?

Excuse me, what am I looking at right now?

• 4:02Fortune Feimster?

  No.

• 4:03Mae Martin?

  Skylights in this Airbnb?

• 4:04Fortune Feimster?

  No.

• 4:05Mae Martin?

With no, and also I, a murderer will come and watch me and then fall through.

• 4:12Fortune Feimster?

My god, why do people put skylights in the bedroom?

• 4:16Mae Martin?

I know, and I heard scribble scrabbling last night and I think it was a raccoon up there and I'm like.

• 4:20Fortune Feimster?

  Yeah, nobody wants that.

• 4:23Mae Martin?

  No.

• 4:23Fortune Feimster?

I don't, put a skylight in your bathroom. Sure. Let's have a little extra sun on your bits when you're showering.

• 4:32Mae Martin?

  Sure.

• 4:32Fortune Feimster?

Now, you don't want to wake up, ah, anyway.

• 4:36Mae Martin?

You know that show that, everyone's talking about that show, Nobody Wants This?

• 4:39Fortune Feimster?

  Yes.

• 4:40Mae Martin?

They should make it about skylights in bedrooms.

• 4:42Fortune Feimster?

That's right. A whole, a whole series about people planning their, the layout of their homes. They say, you know what I'd like?

• 4:52Fortune Feimster?

Um, a skylight and then the architect says, nobody wants, nobody wants.

• 4:56Mae Martin?

  Nobody wants this.

• 4:57Fortune Feimster?

I'm gonna tell you as your architect, let's not do that. You're gonna regret it. And they're like, God, thank you.

• 5:02Mae Martin?

Have you been watching that show?

• 5:03Fortune Feimster?

I have. I've not finished with it yet because it's hard to finish a series with Jax because she falls asleep. Ten minutes in. And then it's like, did you finish that without me? I go, yes, biatch. I say that with love. I, I kept watching it because we, we said we were gonna watch it. It's cute. It's got like a gazillion bazillion downloads. People are obsessed.

• 5:26Mae Martin?

I know. And I was like, oh, this isn't really my genre. And I started watching. I was like, eh. And then by the end of the first episode, I was like, I'm in.

• 5:34Fortune Feimster?

  You're hooked.

• 5:35Mae Martin?

I need them to work out.

• 5:36Fortune Feimster?

Cause guess what people want, May?

• 5:38Mae Martin?

  What?

• 5:39Fortune Feimster?

  They want rom-coms. They're back.

• 5:41Mae Martin?

  They do.

• 5:42Fortune Feimster?

Or at least they're coming back. I've been saying it for years. Love rom-coms. Want them back. We, sometimes we call them rom-toms.

• 5:50Mae Martin?

  Rom-toms. Yeah.

• 5:51Fortune Feimster?

Um, I think it's a great genre that was huge in my childhood. Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks.

• 5:57Mae Martin?

Drew Barrymore. Um, yeah, I, I want, I wanna write one. Should we write one?

• 6:01Fortune Feimster?

  Yeah.

• 6:02Mae Martin?

  Okay, great. About us?

• 6:04Fortune Feimster?

But you should start, you should start in it.

• 6:06Mae Martin?

  I'd love to.

• 6:07Fortune Feimster?

I'll be the friend like Rosie O'Donnell in Sleepless in Seattle.

• 6:10Mae Martin?

No, you've got main character energy.

• 6:13Fortune Feimster?

  Who?

• 6:13Mae Martin?

It starts with, I'm a local, I'm a gardener boy and I'm, I'm gardening and then you're in the house with no curtains, showering. And I'm like, hubba hubba.

• 6:22Fortune Feimster?

Did you like the dialogue I wrote? You're going where?

• 6:25Mae Martin?

  Sorry, what was it?

• 6:25Fortune Feimster?

You're going where? You're meeting who? Do you know anything about him?

• 6:29Mae Martin?

  I liked that a lot.

• 6:30Fortune Feimster?

  Whoever it is.

• 6:32Mae Martin?

  I liked that a lot.

• 6:33Fortune Feimster?

I'm, I'm there to help the plot, you know?

• 6:35Mae Martin?

Yeah. I, I don't, I remember if it's her sister or her friend, but in Jerry Maguire, Renee Zellweger's, either sister or friend is so good in that movie.

• 6:44Fortune Feimster?

Oh, yeah? I don't remember. I gotta watch it again.

• 6:47Mae Martin?

She sees that Renee is like falling hard for Tom and she's like, oh, Lord help me.

• 6:52Fortune Feimster?

Yeah, it's always the friend or the sister who's like cleaning the kitchen.

• 6:56Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 6:57Fortune Feimster?

And like gets their cup of coffee like this.

• 7:00Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 7:01Fortune Feimster?

And they're like, oh, no. And they're, the, the ingenue's like, what? Mm-mm.

• 7:07Mae Martin?

  Mm-mm.

• 7:08Fortune Feimster?

And then, and what? Somebody's fallen pretty hard.

• 7:13Mae Martin?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 7:14Fortune Feimster?

  Are you crazy?

• 7:15Mae Martin?

No, I'm not. All I'm saying is that I'm gonna go see him tonight. I'm gonna see his band play. Uh huh.

• 7:21Fortune Feimster?

Uh huh. I've known you my whole life. I know. And you've fallen pretty hard.

• 7:26Mae Martin?

I've known you my whole life and you've never seen a band before in your life.

• 7:30Fortune Feimster?

Yeah, and they're like, I guess you're right.

• 7:32Mae Martin?

Yeah, and usually the friend has, um, is in a happy relationship, but that's kind of lost its spark. Like she's got some doofus husband, a couple of kids. And at first you're like, oh, these guys. But then by the end, you're like, oh, they really love.

• 7:45Fortune Feimster?

Love them as a couple. She's like, oh, God, I would pay anything to have Jim look at me like that.

• 7:52Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 7:53Fortune Feimster?

And then he's like, hey, babe.

• 7:54Mae Martin?

And then at the end, Jim's like, babe, I really love you.

• 7:58Fortune Feimster?

Oh, he, do you know what he just did for me? He took my car in because it needed the oil change. And I hate him, but I love him. And everyone's like, God, we love Jim.

• 8:07Mae Martin?

We love Jim. And Renee deserves that kind of security and consistency.

• 8:14Fortune Feimster?

And then there's a song that plays underneath.

• 8:17Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 8:18Fortune Feimster?

She looks you in her eyes. Well, summon a mama. A secret garden. We've already halfway done. This rom-com has to come to life.

• 8:33Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 8:34Fortune Feimster?

Well, let's hear our first question.

• 8:37Mae Martin?

  Yeah, let's hear it.

• 8:37Fortune Feimster?

For this, before we write this whole movie, we don't want to give it away for free.

• 8:42Mae Martin?

  I know.

• 8:43Speaker 02

Hi, handsome. This is Jordan from Toronto. And my question for you is, what is one silly little thing that's happened in your life that you still find yourself thinking about often? For whatever reason, something that made an impression on you and takes up space in your brain.

• 9:00Mae Martin?

  I know mine right away.

• 9:01Fortune Feimster?

  Oh, you do?

• 9:02Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 9:03Fortune Feimster?

Just for the record, we don't hear these questions in advance, so we truly are racking our brains to think. Okay, what's yours?

• 9:09Mae Martin?

I hope I can do it justice. This is a thing that I. Laugh about like years after the fact. And it is when she said silly, I was like, okay. So I was dating a wonderful person. We just started dating and it was still kind of early days and, and we went out for brunch. I'd like spent the night there and we went out for brunch and then we went just like window shopping. We're in this like, we go down, down the stairs into this like clothing store. And she said something like, she comes over, she's drinking a coffee and, and it was just us in the store and it was silent. No music playing and just the guy behind the counter probably being like, are they going to buy anything? And she said something to me like, oh God, I don't feel like she goes, you remember that scene in bridesmaids?

• 9:53Mae Martin?

And I'm like, what were they all shitting? She's like, yeah. And then I kind of forgot about it. I'm like, are you okay? She's like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then all of a sudden she comes up to me and goes, I gotta go. And then as she starts walking up the stairs, the fart that came out of her body, I, it's like hard to even describe. Because you know, you weren't there, you're like, oh, a fart story, but I'm going to do it now. Because every step she took, it came out more.

• 10:20Fortune Feimster?

  Oh, no.

• 10:21Mae Martin?

And as she's walking, she's, I'm crying laughing and she collapses on the stairs and she just can't move anymore up the stairs. Cause she's laughing so hard and trying not to shit herself.

• 10:32Fortune Feimster?

  Yeah.

• 10:32Mae Martin?

And this is the length of the fart and I swear on my grandmother's spirit that this is the true length of the fart.

• 10:41Fortune Feimster?

  Oh, wow.

• 10:42Mae Martin?

  It was like this.

• 10:49Fortune Feimster?

  What?

• 10:52Fortune Feimster?

  In public?

• 10:53Mae Martin?

Yes. And the look of shock on the guy that worked there, the look on his face. And me and her having eye contact while the, while the fart is still coming and the look on my face of like, what is happening? And I just kept, I couldn't speak and I kept saying, did you shit yourself? Did you shit yourself? And she was just crying laughing. So then she runs out, I apologized to the guy. I mean, I'm not kidding, it was that long or longer. Then I go outside, I can't find her. And then I go around the corner and she's there and she's on the phone to her mom. She's called her mom. She, she, it was so.

• 11:28Fortune Feimster?

  Cause she's like mortified?

• 11:29Mae Martin?

It was so insane that she's like, I gotta call my mom.

• 11:32Fortune Feimster?

  Oh, my God.

• 11:33Mae Martin?

  She's like, mom, I farted.

• 11:35Fortune Feimster?

How much longer were y'all together?

• 11:37Mae Martin?

  A long time.

• 11:38Fortune Feimster?

  Oh, okay.

• 11:39Mae Martin?

  If anything that brought us-

• 11:39Fortune Feimster?

So it wasn't a straw that broke the camel's bag?

• 11:43Mae Martin?

That it honestly was the spark that ignited.

• 11:47Mae Martin?

  A real love.

• 11:47Fortune Feimster?

  The fart that ignited.

• 11:49Mae Martin?

Oh, my God. She, I remember getting a massage about a week later and I was lying face down and I just thought about it and I started crying laughing again. Anyway.

• 12:03Fortune Feimster?

Checking Allstate first could save you hundreds on car insurance. Not checking that I've got a little snack with me before I leave the house? My stomach and I are grumbling. I thought I'd be able to grab a bite in between meetings, but now it's getting late and I could really use a candy bar.

• 13:36Fortune Feimster?

  Every home.

• 13:39Fortune Feimster?

  God, that's funny.

• 13:40Mae Martin?

It's not, it, it, when you tell it like, I think that's what I like about it too, is only she and I really know. The. What really happened and that the length of the fart, because when you tell it, it just sounds like. But it was truly wild and so loud. It was like, it was like she had like a basketball worth of gas in there. That was just slowly releasing. Yeah, anyway, that's mine.

• 14:04Fortune Feimster?

A funny thing that happened to me was that I was mortified about at the time, but laugh a lot. Because it's so stupid and I, I can't even believe I'm telling this. It because it's not that anything I did anything, but the nickname is so embarrassing.

• 14:23Mae Martin?

  Oh, my God.

• 14:24Fortune Feimster?

So my mom used to call me.

• 14:30Fortune Feimster?

I hate this. She used to call me smooches pooches and cream. Which is like.

• 14:41Mae Martin?

  Smooches pooches and cream.

• 14:43Fortune Feimster?

Smooches. She still calls me smooches sometimes for short. So I was in ninth grade. I was on the softball team because duh.

• 14:52Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 14:52Fortune Feimster?

This was when it was seventh through ninth grade and then at the junior high and then 10th through senior year at the high school. So it was pretty middle school. Now it's like different scenarios. So we were like the big dogs on the softball team, me and these two friends of mine. And we were like the cool girls and trying to be cool. And my mom came to a softball game. And she goes, hello, smooches pooches and cream.

• 15:21Mae Martin?

  My God.

• 15:22Fortune Feimster?

I was like mortified, like you did not just call me this.

• 15:30Mae Martin?

  Oh, my God.

• 15:31Fortune Feimster?

In front of my friends and she's just like smooches. And my friends go ninth grade and, and they go, what did she just call you? I go, ah.

• 15:43Mae Martin?

  Oh my god.

• 15:44Fortune Feimster?

And they're like, no, she called you smooches pooches and cream. And I was like, oh my god. But then my friends started going smooches pooches cream.

• 15:59Mae Martin?

  Oh my god.

• 16:00Fortune Feimster?

And I was at first embarrassed, but then I was like, you know what? That actually is pretty funny. And so I started joining them in their song. So for years, we would sing that song and laugh hysterically. Smooches pooches cream.

• 16:15Mae Martin?

You gotta own it. You have to own it.

• 16:18Fortune Feimster?

It's one of those memories that will come back to me occasionally and I'll just start laughing thinking of that song.

• 16:25Mae Martin?

  Smooches pooches.

• 16:26Fortune Feimster?

I didn't necessarily do anything funny, but that was just a funny scenario that gives me a nice little tickle.

• 16:32Mae Martin?

I love that. Should we hear her answer?

• 16:35Fortune Feimster?

  Yeah.

• 16:36Speaker 02

My answer is when I was in elementary school, every time one of my friends would fart, she would go, silence, please, everybody freeze, na na, na na, na na. And then she would fart. And I still think about it a lot. And every time I do, it makes me laugh. And I kind of wish it was socially acceptable to do that as an adult. So maybe one day if I'm feeling brave, I'll try it. Anyways, thanks for keeping it handsome. Cheers.

• 17:01Fortune Feimster?

Cheers. What was the song again?

• 17:04Mae Martin?

  Silence, please, everybody freeze.

• 17:08Fortune Feimster?

  That is pretty good.

• 17:10Mae Martin?

I think that would make me fall in love with someone if they did that.

• 17:13Fortune Feimster?

I mean, that could be the song that gets to all of our hearts.

• 17:20Mae Martin?

  It's pretty good.

• 17:21Fortune Feimster?

Yeah. And so on par with your story. Look at that. Simpatico, our handsome listeners. They're so in tune with us.

• 17:29Mae Martin?

My mom once called, like, once, she used to call me a really embarrassing nickname, too. And then if it came close to coming out, when my friends were around, I would turn like bright red.

• 17:40Fortune Feimster?

  What was it?

• 17:41Mae Martin?

It was, it's gross. It does make like your skin crawl a bit like to, it was,

• 17:51Mae Martin?

it's nonsense. It was chicken abobadoo.

• 17:55Fortune Feimster?

  Chicken abobadoo.

• 17:56Mae Martin?

Yeah. And I'd be like, stop.

• 17:59Fortune Feimster?

Would you rather be called chicken abobadoo or smooches smooches the green?

• 18:04Mae Martin?

I think, I think yours, just because mine has too much like baggage for me because I'm years of being embarrassed by it. But, but then if I had a kid, oh my God, I'd be calling it such, like the shit you call Biggie is probably crazy.

• 18:17Fortune Feimster?

I have a thousand nicknames for him.

• 18:19Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 18:20Fortune Feimster?

Biggie boy, Biggie bear, prince of my heart, love of my life, big papa. Anyway. Next question.

• 18:29Speaker 04

Hi handsome pod. Um, my name is Tessa. I'm from Nashville, Tennessee. And I am curious to know, um, what is your favorite season? Are you a summer person? Are you one of those people who do you get sad in the winter?

• 18:48Fortune Feimster?

I would say I tend to like the fall, spring seasons better than the summer winters. Cause to me, the summer winters are the extremes of things. I like fall. I like a, a fall that it's like, you're coming out of summer. So it's like not as hot, like you're starting to get that cool breeze and the leaves are changing and it's cozy and the pumpkin muffins have started to be sold at Starbucks. And then I like spring because it's been cold and dreary. And now the sun's coming out and the flowers are blooming and there's new life.

• 19:27Mae Martin?

I don't know. Fall, maybe it's just my current vibe, but I find it like too nostalgic too. Like, you know, you're like back to school and like you got, I don't know. It's, uh, it can be melancholic. I mean, the whole like symbolism of leaves falling off trees, you know? But I do like the Christmas.

• 19:47Fortune Feimster?

  And the sky is gray.

• 19:50Mae Martin?

  And the sky is gay.

• 19:51Fortune Feimster?

  I've been for a walk.

• 19:54Mae Martin?

  I went for a walk.

• 19:55Fortune Feimster?

That's winter. God dang it. It's winter.

• 19:57Mae Martin?

I don't mind winter, you know, I do like, I do like winter. Summer feels like a lot of pressure to have fun and be happy and have a good time. Yeah, I know, I, I, listen.

• 20:05Fortune Feimster?

So is it spring? Is that what you're saying?

• 20:08Mae Martin?

I think I'm saying spring, but also I gotta stop telling myself stories about what I like and don't like.

• 20:13Fortune Feimster?

  Okay.

• 20:13Mae Martin?

I might have the best winter, summer of all time. If, but if I'm like, oh, I'm someone that doesn't like the summer, then I won't, you know what I mean?

• 20:20Fortune Feimster?

I think you're about to have a great winter.

• 20:22Mae Martin?

  Yeah, I think so.

• 20:23Fortune Feimster?

Yeah. Winter in LA is interesting because it gets chill, it gets, you know, quote unquote chilly. Meaning you have a jacket on at night, but not like a winter coat.

• 20:36Mae Martin?

  I do thrive in outerwear.

• 20:38Fortune Feimster?

  Do you?

• 20:39Mae Martin?

  Yeah, like a jacket or.

• 20:41Fortune Feimster?

  You know what I'm into?

• 20:42Mae Martin?

  What?

• 20:43Fortune Feimster?

  Shackets.

• 20:44Mae Martin?

  Oh yeah, me too.

• 20:45Fortune Feimster?

If you don't know what that is, it's a shirt jacket.

• 20:50Mae Martin?

  Oh, I thought it was.

• 20:52Fortune Feimster?

You think it was something else?

• 20:54Mae Martin?

Like a shit in a bracket? No, I don't know.

• 20:57Fortune Feimster?

You're like, I'm really into this.

• 20:58Mae Martin?

I'm really into it. I don't know why Fortune's bringing it up.

• 21:01Fortune Feimster?

  It's like a hea-, it's a heavier button up.

• 21:04Mae Martin?

No, I'm with you. Yeah, yeah.

• 21:05Fortune Feimster?

  That's a shacket.

• 21:06Mae Martin?

And do you like ones with pockets or no pockets?

• 21:08Fortune Feimster?

  Um, oh, like in here?

• 21:10Mae Martin?

  Like side pockets, yeah.

• 21:11Fortune Feimster?

Um, my shackets don't have pockets. Uh, well, some of them have the up pockets here, but I'm not putting anything in that. Let's hear what Tessa's favorite season is.

• 21:22Mae Martin?

  Yes, please.

• 21:24Speaker 04

It seems like most people seem to get sad in the winter. I'm the opposite. I get, I'm kind of grumpy and a little sad all summer. And then as soon as it gets cold out, I get so excited. And I just live my best life all winter long.

• 21:40Fortune Feimster?

  Yeah, you do.

• 21:43Mae Martin?

  Does Nashville get snow?

• 21:44Fortune Feimster?

  Sometimes.

• 21:46Mae Martin?

  Tennessee.

• 21:46Fortune Feimster?

Not like a crazy one, but they do get it.

• 21:49Mae Martin?

The thing I associate with winter is like stains on your jeans from the salt they use in Toronto to melt the snow, like the street salt.

• 21:58Fortune Feimster?

  Yeah.

• 21:59Mae Martin?

All your pants get all discolored around the bottom.

• 22:02Fortune Feimster?

I don't get sad in the winter, thankfully. I know that seasonal depression is very real for a number of folks.

• 22:10Mae Martin?

Shout out to our seasonal depression.

• 22:12Fortune Feimster?

Shout out. I had a friend once who had to, in the winter, this was not when I lived in LA, back in North Carolina. She would have to like, have lots of like lamps and lights in her dorm room. When it got wintertime and it would get, you know, that kind of, what's the word? Like when the sky is like.

• 22:35Mae Martin?

  Gray.

• 22:36Fortune Feimster?

Gray. Gray. Like the song. Duh.

• 22:38Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 22:39Fortune Feimster?

Yeah, she like, that would help her.

• 22:41Mae Martin?

Yeah, yeah. You're not supposed to go to tanning beds anymore, but people did that a lot.

• 22:46Fortune Feimster?

Yeah, to get a little vitamin D.

• 22:48Mae Martin?

My mom took me one when I was like 10.

• 22:51Fortune Feimster?

  Nah.

• 22:52Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 22:53Fortune Feimster?

  Did you get in it?

• 22:54Mae Martin?

  Yeah.

• 22:55Fortune Feimster?

  Whoa.

• 22:56Mae Martin?

I think that was before we knew they were bad.

• 22:58Fortune Feimster?

  Oh.

• 22:59Mae Martin?

I always remember in Final Destination when there's a death in, I think it's Final Destination 2, someone gets trapped in a tanning bed. Sizzled like bacon.

• 23:08Fortune Feimster?

  Yuck.

• 23:10Mae Martin?

Yuck. Well, listen, thank you for sending all your questions.

• 23:14Fortune Feimster?

  You're welcome.

• 23:15Mae Martin?

  Oh, not you, Fortune.

• 23:16Fortune Feimster?

  Oh, okay. Our lovely listeners.

• 23:18Mae Martin?

  Our lovely listeners.

• 23:19Fortune Feimster?

It's always fun to get these questions because we, like I said, we don't know what's coming. And it, it does that thing where it joggles the memory.

• 23:30Mae Martin?

  The memes.

• 23:31Fortune Feimster?

In a way that we don't think of those memories, where we go, oh yeah, that, I didn't, I haven't thought about that in 30 years.

• 23:40Mae Martin?

And we get to reveal things like smooches, pooches and cream.

• 23:44Fortune Feimster?

  Smooches, pooches, cream.

• 23:49Mae Martin?

Oh man. You know what? Fortune, you're very lucky that Take wasn't on this episode. Because she would. Never let smooches pooch and cream go.

• 23:57Fortune Feimster?

She would never. So if anyone tells her, I swear to God.

• 24:06Mae Martin?

I gave someone one of our pride belts and they were so pumped about it.

• 24:33Mae Martin?

  Nice.

• 24:33Fortune Feimster?

Yeah, that's the kind of giver I am.
