Scamghetti w/ a Twink & a Redhead

We hope you like spaghetti, CONgregation, because today we're joined by Grant & Ash (A Twink and a Redhead), to dig into this week's scampilation. The squad discusses the scam of Spencer Pratt running for LA mayor, a Georgia mayor who fired the entire police force for petty reasons, the CEO of United Airlines flying American, Dua Lipa versus Samsung, and a thief who returned Lego sets filled with pasta. Plus, Laci asks: Are towing companies, TV subscriptions, and celebrity skincare a scam, a scheme, or the real thing? Stay schemin’! Keep the scams coming and snitch on your friends by emailing us at [email protected]. What's poppin', congregation? It's your girl, Lacey Mosley, AKA Scam Goddess, the host of the comedy podcast all about robbery, fraud, and those who practice it. Sometimes we love them, sometimes we hate them. We always laugh at them, but not the victims. Now, you all, where y'all at? How y'all doing in the summertime? Y'all staying cool? Y'all already know I'm what? Excited, elated, thrilled. We have two guests for you today, okay? Period. You've seen them all over TikTok and have heard their satirical music and content everywhere. Name a more iconic duo. Period. Famous for parodying delusional couple dynamics, Disney adults, and releasing suggestive comedy pop songs.

• 2:34Laci Mosley?

You can catch these two childhood besties touring beginning this month until November in a city near you. Congregation, please welcome first time choir members Grant and Ash, AKA A Twink and A Redhead, to the show today. Hey.

• 2:51Speaker 04

Hey, Lacy. I'm an, it's an honor to be here, like, for real.

• 2:55Laci Mosley?

  Such an honor.

• 2:56Speaker 04

I am a big member of the congregation, longtime listener. Me and my sister, every time we have a drive, Scam Goddess is on. Scams and guns.

• 3:06Laci Mosley?

  There it is.

• 3:07Speaker 04

  That song, it hits.

• 3:08Laci Mosley?

Thank you. Oh, my gosh, we've been needing some new choir members. Grant, I feel like you're gonna direct the choir. Because I'm a missionary Baptist and I always have gone to churches that had great praise and worship, and it was because the gay man was leading the choir.

• 3:23Speaker 04

I'm happy to do that. Happy to do that.

• 3:25Laci Mosley?

That's what we need. Music was on point, period. Period. All right, I'm so glad, excited to have both of you here today. Um, I have some questions for you that I need your opinions on.

• 3:39Speaker 04

  Absolutely.

• 3:40Laci Mosley?

So, we start this podcast by asking our guests, is something a scam, a scheme, or a real thing? So, a scam is absolutely something that shouldn't be happening. It is a ripoff. It's bad for society. A scheme feels like a scam, but it's somewhat legitimate. And then a real thing is something that we believe should exist, no matter how scammy it feels. So, uh, the first question that I have for you both, Ashley and Grant, is towing, is it a scam? Is it a scheme or is it a real thing?

• 4:17Speaker 04

  Ooh, towing.

• 4:20Speaker 05

I think it's a scheme because I think there's some instances where your car, like you're parked where you shouldn't be and you're blocking someone in. You know what I mean?

• 4:29Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 4:29Speaker 05

But then they are charging so much money for your car to sit in a lot.

• 4:36Laci Mosley?

Forty dollars a day in L.A.

• 4:38Speaker 05

It's ridiculous. My car's been towed before. It was overnight and I had to withdraw like $300 cash to this man and his Yorkie at the sketchy tow station in Columbia, South Carolina. So it felt like a scheme.

• 4:51Speaker 04

It does give scheme, but I also am kind of like, wait, if I owned like a towing company.

• 4:57Laci Mosley?

Not just trying to get involved.

• 4:58Speaker 04

Yeah, like I might want to get involved with that, like, because there could be some real reasons, like you were saying, Ash, like if someone's blocking my driveway or something and needs to get towed. But yeah, once I have your car, my rules. You know what I mean?

• 5:12Laci Mosley?

So Grant is fully a car kidnapper. He's like, yeah, I'm gonna kidnap the cars and hold them for ransom.

• 5:18Speaker 05

Grant, it's a crazy position to side with the tow trucks, but.

• 5:22Speaker 04

  Fuck, are you serious?

• 5:23Speaker 05

It's a crazy position to be on the side of the tow trucks.

• 5:27Speaker 04

I haven't had a car in years, being in New York.

• 5:29Laci Mosley?

  They're both in Brooklyn.

• 5:31Speaker 04

Yeah, that's, yeah, that is important to know. I've never been towed either. I never had to deal with that and God bless anyone who has.

• 5:38Speaker 05

So you just love the tow trucks?

• 5:40Speaker 04

I just think it could be a good business. I don't know.

• 5:43Laci Mosley?

I feel like me and Ash have got to gang up on you because I've been towed 12 times.

• 5:48Speaker 05

12? Okay, but at what point, at what point is it maybe a you problem?

• 5:56Speaker 04

Like, maybe we have to look inward.

• 5:59Speaker 05

After like the fifth time, it's like I need to look in the mirror.

• 6:03Speaker 04

  Is it dead ass 12?

• 6:04Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 6:05Speaker 04

What do you mean, over the course of how many years?

• 6:09Laci Mosley?

This is when I first moved to L.A. It's probably the course of a year and a half and I won't lie, like, I would go to Hollywood tow so much, they knew you, girl. Like they could pull, they had my file. Already.

• 6:23Speaker 04

Oh, she's back. Did they give you any deals then? Like?

• 6:27Laci Mosley?

  I ain't get a single deal.

• 6:28Speaker 04

  Loyal customer?

• 6:30Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 6:30Speaker 05

  That's nasty.

• 6:31Laci Mosley?

  I need a punch card.

• 6:32Speaker 05

  Keeping customer.

• 6:34Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 6:35Laci Mosley?

It was because. If you move to Los Angeles, please, please know this. Never live in a place that does not have parking.

• 6:44Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 6:44Laci Mosley?

Cause I had, I, there was a parking spot at my place, but I thought I was being nice and gave it to one of my roommates because I found the place. I took the largest bedroom with the en suite bathroom. So I was like, oh, you can have the parking spot because you have the smallest bedroom.

• 6:58Speaker 04

Hmm. And there you go. 12 toes later.

• 7:02Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 7:02Speaker 04

  Damn. Was it worth it?

• 7:04Laci Mosley?

  Number, Grant. Damn.

• 7:05Speaker 05

12 toes later. You like help these tow truck drivers buy a beach house. Like you are the reason.

• 7:11Speaker 04

  That's sweet. That's sweet.

• 7:13Laci Mosley?

I think it's a scheme too. And here's why I think it's a scheme. One, I think towing is necessary. I mean, if your car breaks down, if something happens on the road, if you get into an accident, obviously you need a tow truck to like haul that bitch away, right? But I also think it's a scheme because street cleaning towing pisses me the fuck off, especially in Los Angeles, because they will tow your car if the street cleaning is happening on that street, regardless of if the street cleaning truck comes and cleans the street. And.

• 7:43Speaker 05

  That's nasty.

• 7:44Laci Mosley?

There are tow trucks that wait in certain parking lots near areas where if your car is parked, you can park there till four o'clock. At, at four on the dot, they start towing these bitches away. So I'm like, you're over here scheming. You're waiting and hoping.

• 8:00Speaker 05

  Waiting. Yeah.

• 8:01Laci Mosley?

Aren't you supposed to be on call, Mr. Tow Man? What do you mean you waiting at the food for less parking lot? Cause all these street parking spots about to go up and you just go haul these bitches away.

• 8:11Speaker 04

They're kind of having fun with it though, low key, don't you think? Like they're kind of like staking it out.

• 8:16Speaker 05

Grant, do you like have a stake, an investment in a tow truck company?

• 8:21Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 8:22Speaker 05

  It's giving tow up.

• 8:23Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 8:23Speaker 05

If your father is a tow truck driver.

• 8:25Speaker 04

Exclusive. I am opening a towing business. Yes. And I come from a long line of towing relatives. So.

• 8:32Laci Mosley?

I thought your last name was Gibbs. Is it, is it actually tow?

• 8:36Speaker 04

It's Grant, my Gibbs. Grant Tow Gibbs.

• 8:40Speaker 05

  You just love towing.

• 8:42Laci Mosley?

You just love towing. Okay, so now we know that we have an op in our presence, Ash.

• 8:47Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 8:48Speaker 04

  I'm just seeing both sides.

• 8:50Speaker 05

  Just flying.

• 8:50Speaker 04

Seeing both sides. If you're gonna be a tow-er, at least have fun with it. Stakeout, spy a little.

• 8:55Laci Mosley?

That's true. Very whimsical, you know, very fun. I'm glad someone had fun. I will say, though, if you do get towed and you see your car actively being towed, just go ahead. Well, this is reckless, but this is my advice. Just go ahead and get inside the car if you can.

• 9:12Speaker 04

  Yes. Oh, my God.

• 9:13Laci Mosley?

They can't legally tow a car with a person inside. Is that true?

• 9:18Speaker 05

  Yeah, you just sit there.

• 9:19Speaker 04

  Cause I was kidnapped.

• 9:20Speaker 05

Yeah, you gotta be like a squatter.

• 9:23Laci Mosley?

Eventually, they're gonna have to put your car down, cause they can't tow the car with you inside of it.

• 9:27Speaker 05

  Good tow.

• 9:28Speaker 04

Can you get a ticket if you're, oh, well, yeah, I was gonna say, can you get a ticket if you're in your car? Probably.

• 9:34Laci Mosley?

Maybe, I don't know, just try it. It seems exciting, right?

• 9:38Speaker 04

Jump on the hood. If they're, if they're already moving too, jump on the hood and let it ride.

• 9:43Speaker 05

  Do what you gotta do.

• 9:47Speaker 04

I, I say jump. What are they gonna do?

• 9:49Laci Mosley?

Grant takes it up a level each time. Don't jump on the hood. Grab a tire and let the tow truck drag you and your car away.

• 9:58Speaker 04

  Yes, yes. Scam them back.

• 10:01Laci Mosley?

Scam scheme are a real thing. Streaming subscriptions.

• 10:06Speaker 04

  The major platforms?

• 10:08Laci Mosley?

  Yeah, streaming TV and film.

• 10:11Speaker 04

I know a major platform that I would say is more scammy than the others, but I won't say, but it's just my personal opinion.

• 10:17Laci Mosley?

We have to work in this business. You can tell me after.

• 10:22Speaker 04

You after. Um, I don't know.

• 10:26Speaker 05

  I think it's a, well, I don't know.

• 10:30Speaker 04

It's not like a gym membership where like they make it impossible to like cancel.

• 10:35Laci Mosley?

I think it's kind of schemey, though, the way that I can no longer use my parents' streaming platforms because I'm not in the household.

• 10:45Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 10:45Laci Mosley?

Like, that is just nasty. It's robbery. I can't watch Bridgeman. Now because I haven't gone to my parents in New Jersey in three weeks. That's just F'd up.

• 10:54Speaker 04

Some of them too are doing it with like the quality. Like you have to pay a certain like premium to get like 4K streaming.

• 11:01Laci Mosley?

Yeah, or like, oh, now I have to watch commercials when I'm trying to watch The Housewives. Really? Great.

• 11:08Speaker 04

That too. Oh, yeah. And I thought Hulu when it first came out or whatever, like, wasn't it free because of the ads of it all? But then it's like now you still pay for ads and then you have to pay a higher one for no ads.

• 11:21Laci Mosley?

Right. And what's schemy about that to me is that all these no ad premiums that you pay for, now they still got ads in them. I'm like, what do you mean? I paid to never see an advertisement and you're showing me ads right now that I'm paying for. And the price keeps creeping up and up and up. And I'm sorry, I know y'all are just like a tad bit younger than me. I'm a millennial. I feel like y'all are on the cusp right of Gen Z. This is our fault. So sorry. We thought that we was being innovators. We were like, we're not getting cable. We're cutting the cord and we're gonna be online, you know? And so we thought we were really like, okay, I'm gonna just watch the shows that I want to watch on this one platform.

• 12:06Laci Mosley?

And then corporate America got hip and they were like, oh, we're all gonna have a streaming platform. Now we're paying more than we would have paid to just have cable.

• 12:14Speaker 04

Cable. Yeah. And they're doing like live events on the streaming platforms now. So at what point is the streaming platforms just cable?

• 12:23Laci Mosley?

It basically is. Should we reinvent cable? I feel like I just call it cord.

• 12:28Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 12:28Laci Mosley?

Hey, y'all, get on my new app. It's called cord. It puts all the streaming services together for one low price.

• 12:34Speaker 05

I love that. Cause also there's something, there's something really nostalgic about being like, I have to be home, sitting on my couch at 8:00 PM to catch my show. Yes, like the Summer House reunion. It's like, I know I need to be sat for that. And there's something really nice about that. I can't just binge.

• 12:53Laci Mosley?

It's also community. I feel like, and, and I have a very strong stance on spoilers, which is that nothing. As a spoiler after something airs. If you haven't watched it when it aired, that's on you boo.

• 13:07Laci Mosley?

Like you want us all online to collectively be quiet because you haven't watched something on time. That's inherently selfish and weird. Stay offline or block the words to the show. It's not our fault that you ain't keeping up. Cause I think there's something really beautiful about watching something at the same time as a lot of other people and collectively talking about it. And like all kind of being the same place in the zeitgeist. So I agree with that. Cause I remember watching the finale of Game of Thrones. Twitter asked me to come to their headquarters and they had this big party. And we were all live tweeting Game of Thrones. If you watched Game of Thrones, you know, the finale is terrible. So they hired all these motherfuckers. They, we had an iron throw, all this food, drinks. T-Pain was there for some reason.

• 13:52Laci Mosley?

On the mic, just talking. We were like, yes, this makes sense. T-Pain should be here.

• 13:58Speaker 05

  Of course.

• 13:58Speaker 04

And it's part of the twi- the live tweeting experience.

• 14:01Speaker 05

You know what? There are certain shows that I feel like the time and the zeitgeist really came and went, like Breaking Bad. Like I'm never gonna start that now because it was such a moment. I'm not getting into it.

• 14:11Speaker 04

  Well, it's on streaming.

• 14:13Speaker 05

But like, it's not as fun because that was a show everyone was tuning in for at the time. Now it's like, I don't, I don't need to watch that, you know?

• 14:21Speaker 04

Do you remember On Demand? What was it called? Video On Demand?

• 14:25Speaker 05

Yeah, with the blue, the blue.

• 14:27Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 14:29Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 14:29Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 14:30Laci Mosley?

That was our blockbuster. That was our, you rent a movie.

• 14:35Speaker 05

And that's where people would buy porn, huh?

• 14:37Laci Mosley?

Yeah, people used to buy porn.

• 14:40Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 14:41Speaker 04

My mom was in some like class action lawsuit against, I think like Comcast during that era because of how accessible like porn was to like kids. Like at that time, like you could just stumble across it if you're just playing with the remote. And I think I actually did. Maybe that's why she was so passionate about it. But like, yeah, very interesting.

• 15:03Laci Mosley?

I mean, back in the day, the, the Cinemax had the Skinamax after dark. HBO after dark. After dark, you was watching, you know, me, my cousins and we was all in, uh, my cousin's refurbished garage watching Sex Corp.

• 15:20Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 15:22Speaker 05

It's true. HBO used to literally, I just feel like it was known for like showing cock.

• 15:28Laci Mosley?

  Cock, okay.

• 15:31Speaker 05

  Yeah, HBO, are you serious?

• 15:34Speaker 04

Cock is so weird to see. You never see cock.

• 15:36Laci Mosley?

Sam Levinson puts, has brought the D back to HBO, but.

• 15:41Speaker 05

You guys, I was watching the show off campus on Amazon Prime on Jeff Bezos's Amazon, and there is zoomed in, full frontal men zoomed in.

• 15:52Speaker 04

  Let me tune in.

• 15:53Speaker 05

It's a show about hockey players. It was crazy.

• 15:57Laci Mosley?

Who decided that we were gonna sexualize hockey? Cause there's like three hockey shows where like, yeah, there's a puck, there's ice, but also fucking.

• 16:05Speaker 04

  Look, all at once, too.

• 16:06Speaker 05

I am locked in. I just read a seven book series about hockey players that like, just fuck each other, fuck, fuck their classmates, everyone. Seven books.

• 16:18Laci Mosley?

  They got a hockey partner?

• 16:19Speaker 04

  That's a scheme. That's a scheme.

• 16:22Speaker 05

At one point, they sex on the Zamboni. It was crazy.

• 16:26Speaker 04

  Oh my god.

• 16:28Speaker 05

Yeah, they're doing it on the Zamboni.

• 16:30Laci Mosley?

  Zamboni sex is crazy. Yeah.

• 16:32Speaker 04

Is there ever any like overcross, overcross, is that even a word? Crossover?

• 16:36Speaker 05

  Crossover, there we go.

• 16:38Speaker 04

  Is there any?

• 16:39Laci Mosley?

  Zamboning.

• 16:40Speaker 04

Zamboning on the Zamboni, wake it up.

• 16:43Laci Mosley?

Thank you, Rich. Zamboning. They was Zamboning.

• 16:46Speaker 04

Do the figure skaters ever come in to meet with the hockey people?

• 16:49Speaker 05

That's gonna be a book called Icebreaker, and that book gets absolutely nasty. There's butt stuff.

• 16:57Speaker 04

  But is it between heteros?

• 16:59Speaker 05

Yes, that's why it's like, wait, what? Yeah.

• 17:02Speaker 04

  Okay, wow. Wake it up.

• 17:03Speaker 05

Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it's, what's going on in hockey right now is insane.

• 17:08Laci Mosley?

I mean, and when I think about it more, cause I just think hockey, you're in all these heavy padded things. We can't see what your butt looks like. Like, you know, you're covered in clothing and you're skating. It just feels like there's so much like physics involved. I never thought of the sexuality, but now that I think about it, hockey is one of the few sports where you're still allowed to like beat the other team's ass. Like you can fight. And what's right next to fighting?

• 17:34Speaker 04

  Fucking.

• 17:36Speaker 04

  Fucking.

• 17:38Laci Mosley?

How do we not realize how horny it was?

• 17:41Speaker 05

Yeah, it's a really good point, but you know what? I don't feel that way when I see a man like wrestle. I'm not getting all hot and bothered for like John Cena, you know? And that's kind of close.

• 17:53Laci Mosley?

Well, I can. Wrestling feels more like dancing and performance art. You know what I mean? They are oiled up and half naked, so they're giving you the horniness up top.

• 18:02Speaker 05

It's like fully clothed, winter dressed men go at it. Yeah, wrestling's more almost homoerotic, I would say. They're oiled up and like rolling around with each other.

• 18:12Laci Mosley?

Yeah, they know what they're doing. But with hockey, it's kind of hotter because it's like, this is a secret.

• 18:18Speaker 05

Yes, it's like, what is under those pads?

• 18:21Laci Mosley?

Yes. Like, it's so cold on the ice, we gotta warm up.

• 18:25Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 18:25Laci Mosley?

  Sex.

• 18:26Speaker 04

  Something to think about.

• 18:27Speaker 05

Damn, I gotta go to a Rangers game.

• 18:30Laci Mosley?

  Same.

• 18:37Speaker 05

We actually, we were invited to a Rangers game for some sort of like pride night thing, but we weren't in town.

• 18:44Speaker 04

We dead ass only get invited to like sporting events if it's pride night. So that's our thing too.

• 18:51Laci Mosley?

It's June, baby, so y'all better get gear up.

• 18:54Speaker 04

We just went to the Liberty game, pride night.

• 18:56Speaker 05

Yeah, we went to a WNBA game.

• 18:58Speaker 04

But that's already a little gay, like there's a lot of lesbian.

• 19:02Laci Mosley?

Have I been courtside at a Liberty game? Hell, yeah. Do I have pictures with my elephant queen?

• 19:08Speaker 04

  Ellie, yes.

• 19:09Laci Mosley?

Ellie, yes. I got photos with Ellie.

• 19:11Speaker 05

She is everything. She is snatch, too.

• 19:14Speaker 04

The lady next to me just kept saying RuPaul's in there. I was like, oh my God, don't break the illusion, don't break the illusion.

• 19:22Laci Mosley?

The routines, everything is C. I will say, final for me on streaming subscriptions is it is a, it's a scheme that's turning into a scam. Every single month, everybody talking about we charging more, we charging more, we charging more. And like you're already locked in and you want to watch your shows. I've worked for certain platforms, I won't say which, but I've talked to like the heads of these platforms about like what, like how our show. Were performing or whatever. And the biggest interest that they had was getting new audience. Which means that they would put out shows to attract the demographic. Once they, that demographic has signed on, they don't really give a fuck about the show because it's a Ponzi scheme. So that's why shows that you love get canceled after three seasons.

• 20:05Laci Mosley?

They don't want to do, or after four is a very popular place to cancel a show. Because after four seasons, there's typically a contract renegotiation where everyone on the show will be asking for more money. So they're like, we'll do four seasons, fire all y'all hoes. And we already got your subscription, you know, your fans, they're already locked in and paying this monthly fee. And now we move on to something else that attracts a new demo. And then we cancel that because we don't want the show. We don't care about art. We care about getting more money from people.

• 20:30Speaker 04

Yeah, Ponzi scheme is a good way to look at it, huh? That is nasty. Bring back, let's make, we're gonna make a grassroots streaming company. It's gonna be called Twink Productions with, under the redhead LLC. And it's gonna be, it is gonna be a premium. It's gonna be a hundred dollars a month.

• 20:47Laci Mosley?

And, and we, we star in every piece of content.

• 20:50Speaker 04

And, and we will star in every piece of content. Lacey will send you a, we'll send you some opportunities you can audition for and we'll see if it fits.

• 20:57Laci Mosley?

Audition? I can't get an offer? Damn, Grant. Grant go tow my car and make the audition for Twink Productions.

• 21:05Speaker 05

We want to see a self date.

• 21:06Laci Mosley?

I'm like, at my audition, Grant's gonna be towing my car outside.

• 21:11Speaker 04

It's gonna be the whole thing.

• 21:12Speaker 05

It's a scheme on top of a scheme.

• 21:15Speaker 04

Yeah, in-person audition, you're coming in and while you're in the room, I have a whole team of towers outside towing your car. And that's part of the show. That's gonna be the, one of the shows is gonna be a reality show and it's gonna be like about my towing company.

• 21:28Speaker 05

They should do like, like Cops Live, but tow trucks.

• 21:31Speaker 04

They had something. But I think it was scripted. I forget what it was. They had something and it was so funny.

• 21:37Speaker 05

All right, well, we're gonna green light it.

• 21:39Laci Mosley?

Yes, on Twinks. You guys get your, get your shows on Twinks. All right, last one. Scam scheme or a real thing? Celebrity skincare?

• 21:48Speaker 04

  Hmm.

• 21:49Speaker 05

  Oh.

• 21:51Speaker 04

It's funny, I just tried Alex Earl's skincare. Yeah.

• 21:55Laci Mosley?

  Not your Alex Earl skincare.

• 22:00Speaker 05

  Okay.

• 22:00Speaker 04

  Got it right there bedside.

• 22:02Speaker 05

  I love my vanity.

• 22:04Speaker 04

  Yeah, your vanity.

• 22:05Speaker 05

I have a lot of celebrity skincare right next to me right now. So I have to say, I think it's the real thing. I think they partner with some great scientists.

• 22:13Speaker 04

I kind of agree. I think, I bet you with someone, scientists with a dream, who wants to make their skincare a reality, and they have to partner unfortunately these days with a celebrity to get it out there. I don't think the celebrity really has anything to do with it other than putting their name on it, right?

• 22:27Speaker 05

But I will say, it is obvious when said celebrity is like heavily involved or not involved at all. And I think when you're heavily involved, like Rihanna or Selena Gomez, it's better than when it's like you're just slapping your name on like mediocre lip liner, you know?

• 22:47Laci Mosley?

And I do see Rihanna's makeup products on professional sets. Like, I'll never see any Kardashian makeup, but I will see Fenty on a set, you know, and they use it. It has so many shades. It goes like, especially as someone who's darker complected, it really does run the gamut and it's a quality product. And people have used Fenty on me, you know, for red carpets, for TV shows and things like that. I will say Rihanna's skincare, given a little scheme, I think she might have took her foot off the gas on the Fenty skin.

• 23:19Speaker 04

  Fenty skin.

• 23:20Speaker 05

That's true. I feel like skincare, now that I, like makeup, I think is like the real thing. Cause like no one sits in the glam chair more than these, these gals.

• 23:29Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 23:30Speaker 05

But also skincare, yeah, is like, I've been told by, you know, dermatologists that you're better off using like a CeraVe, a La Roche Posay, something that's more neutral.

• 23:44Speaker 04

I have enjoyed Alex Earl's skincare, I can't lie, like the cleanser.

• 23:48Speaker 05

  I'm gonna be repurchasing.

• 23:50Speaker 04

I might re- I like the moisturizer too. It is a little scented, but I think it's scented from um natural type of things. I don't think it's like-

• 23:58Laci Mosley?

  Natural?

• 23:59Speaker 05

  Natural.

• 23:59Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 24:00Speaker 05

  Natural.

• 24:00Laci Mosley?

Did you read the a great- the ingredients grid?

• 24:02Speaker 04

  No.

• 24:03Laci Mosley?

Or you just, that was just me?

• 24:04Speaker 05

Okay. Do, do people do that? I'm never reading the ingredients.

• 24:07Laci Mosley?

  It smells so natural.

• 24:09Speaker 04

It just, it has a natural, it smells like a spa in a way.

• 24:12Speaker 05

It does, like almost like a eucalyptus. I know, it's like we're getting paid by Alex.

• 24:17Laci Mosley?

It's giving sponsored. It's giving y'all getting paid by Alex and y'all scam me to come on the show and talk about Alex's products. Cause the way the ash reached right so fast, it was like, right here, Alex her.

• 24:29Speaker 04

  No, that was sauce.

• 24:31Speaker 05

  I got the serum too.

• 24:32Speaker 04

Okay, that's, that's enough of the free product placement.

• 24:37Laci Mosley?

And that's why I wanted to focus on skincare instead of makeup, cause I think there are some legit celebrity backed makeups that obviously aren't completely owned by the celebrity, but are, you know, owned by the company and they've done really good jobs with like researching the formulas and making sure that, I mean, like, listen, Queen Latifah really got in the paint. I don't know if y'all remember the Queen collection, all the purple things, but she was out here before the rest of the girls. And she was the first brown makeup I saw in a CVS. I was like, oh.

• 25:02Speaker 04

  Wow, good for her.

• 25:03Speaker 05

She, she was ahead of the curve.

• 25:06Laci Mosley?

Truly. But I do think when it comes to skincare, it kinda gets a little shady. But I think that's because skincare in general can be a scheme, cause I used to, every time I would go get my facial, you know, the facialist would recommend products or the esthetician would recommend products. I get everything. I was like, I slather myself in creams. That's how I stay young. But my skin started reacting, cause I had like an 11 step skin routine before I went to bed. My skin was like, you don't need all of this. What is this?

• 25:33Speaker 04

Literally that, that is me up until like, I think a month ago, I was like, I do not need to be doing all this. But you had like the toner, well, the, the cleanser, toner, and then the like-

• 25:43Laci Mosley?

  Pre cleanse.

• 25:44Speaker 04

  Yeah, oh yeah.

• 25:45Speaker 05

  Oil makeup broom remover.

• 25:47Speaker 04

The treatment, if you're gonna do like a

• 25:49Laci Mosley?

  Face wash, yeah.

• 25:50Speaker 04

Yeah, tretinoin or a serum, moisturizer SPF.

• 25:55Laci Mosley?

  Hyaluronic acid, retinol.

• 25:58Speaker 04

You know who's kind of scheming though?

• 26:01Laci Mosley?

  Who?

• 26:02Speaker 04

And we've worked with them. They're great and I actually love their products. Elf Skin, they flat out told us, and they're very open about this. They just wait until a patent is up for like, from like a drunk elephant or something. And then they just swoop in and make it affordable for everyone and just copy their recipe. Yeah, like they have, I like their vitamin C. But then that's another thing I'm wondering. It's like, do I actually need vitamin C like serum on my face all the time?

• 26:26Laci Mosley?

Somebody told us we did and I believed them.

• 26:29Speaker 04

  Right.

• 26:30Laci Mosley?

I have a red light mask that they were like, add this vitamin C when I bought the red light mask. And it's like a mask that goes on your face and then it has a collar for your neck and your like top titty. And then you just put the red light on to restore collagen. You put the blue light on to kill germs. And you just lay in this mask and look like you're like Jason Voorhees for like, you know, 20 minutes.

• 26:51Speaker 04

Well, you look good. I would do it if you told me to.

• 26:53Speaker 05

I would trust your skincare team. You know, the other week I did something crazy. And I bought makeup wipes for the first time since like 7th grade. And I was using makeup wipes. We were, I feel like girls have been told that they're so bad for you.

• 27:07Laci Mosley?

That they're bad for you, yeah.

• 27:08Speaker 05

Fuck that. They work great. And then I'm washing my face. So you know what? Whoever was like up against big makeup wipes, they were wrong.

• 27:17Speaker 04

  Justice for big makeup wipes.

• 27:19Laci Mosley?

It was probably big skincare that was like, no, we need you to wash your face with six products before you go to bed. Not these new Traginas. And I'm like, no, sometimes you've been out, it's a long night. The options are fall asleep in my makeup or wipe my face drunkenly in bed.

• 27:35Speaker 05

And on a flight, a nice makeup wipe. Oh, it's great.

• 27:39Speaker 04

And if a boy did a little light boy B, they don't know how to use all those, just speaking from experience. I don't know how to use those weird wax removers or nor do I have that. Like if I just had a thing of makeup wipes, it's much more convenient to just wipe off my light foundation and call it a night.

• 27:55Speaker 05

For our next venture, we are starting a makeup wipe company.

• 27:58Speaker 04

Makeup wipe company. Sponsored by Gibbs Towing.

• 28:03Laci Mosley?

This is just a development meeting, guys.

• 28:05Speaker 04

Yeah, it really is. How can me and Ashley scam others? That's what we're trying to gather here from last week. Yes.

• 28:13Laci Mosley?

We're gonna lock it in. I'm gonna say celebrity skincare scheme for me. I think it can be legit. I think some people endorse, like, they work with really good scientists and slap their name on something that is a quality product. But I think a lot of times it can be a scheme. And I also think that people with, especially celebs with really good skin, who, you know, do those videos where they're like, first of all, the biggest scheme about skincare is I don't want to see another fucking commercial where I'm watching the lady in the sink splash water on her face. Never in my life have I put my hands in a cup, under the sink, and then splashed water on my face. Like, who's cleaning the bathroom after this?

• 28:54Speaker 05

  Makes a damn mess.

• 28:55Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 28:55Speaker 05

  Good point.

• 28:56Speaker 04

And the before and after pics, like if it's an acne type of product, honey, those are two different people. They gotta be.

• 29:03Laci Mosley?

Right, and, and the celebrities that do that, it's like, yeah, you use this moisturizer. You also got a vampire facial two weeks ago. You spent two grand on that facial, so please, reply to us. Or maybe it's just genetics. Some people just naturally have clear skin. I have a friend who only washes her face with water, and I've never seen a pore on her face.

• 29:23Speaker 05

  Damn, must be nice.

• 29:26Laci Mosley?

Yeah, so sometimes you can't, you know, miracle yourself out of genetics.

• 29:30Speaker 04

  That's true.

• 29:31Laci Mosley?

But everyone wants you to think you can.

• 29:38Laci Mosley?

All right, well now it's time for my favorite segment of the podcast, Historic Hoodwings. This is where I will regale Grant and Ash, well, the famous con caper group of criminals. We don't know yet, maybe we love them, maybe we hate them. You guys are so fun that we wanted to kind of do a little fun, little speed through of some different scammers that we've been looking at. And we're gonna start with, if you live in Los Angeles, or, I mean, I mean, LA has very, like, main character energy in the country. We are the fourth largest GDP in the world, period. We paying for the US.

• 30:11Speaker 04

What's the GDP? What the hell is the GDP?

• 30:14Speaker 05

It's gonna be like the economy, the, I don't know what it stands for.

• 30:17Laci Mosley?

It's growth domestic product. So we put out the products that are selling and generating the coin. And then through taxes, federal taxes, we give it back to the states. And all the broke bitches in flyover states take our money and then try to restrict our rights.

• 30:36Speaker 05

  Right. More on that.

• 30:38Laci Mosley?

Right. Right. I'm from Texas. We love a good secession. I'm like, I don't know, Kelly, we might just need to leave the US, okay? We don't have to be with them. We can survive. Alone.

• 30:49Speaker 04

  I would support that.

• 30:50Speaker 05

  Do what you gotta do.

• 30:51Laci Mosley?

But speaking of somebody who is also trying to take away our rights and destroy us, well, first up here is Spencer Pratt.

• 30:58Speaker 05

  Oh.

• 30:59Laci Mosley?

He's an elder millennial reality TV villain who is also a villain in real life. Spencer Pratt, who is currently running for mayor of Los Angeles. And we do not want this to happen, but he is gaining more and more traction. His face is bloated. He has no skills. It's giving Trump, but for California.

• 31:20Speaker 05

Mm-hmm. His face is really bloated. That's a really good point.

• 31:24Laci Mosley?

Mm-hmm. That's because he drink it too much. I can tell when you drink it too much. It shows up right in the face and the belly.

• 31:29Speaker 05

  Mm-hmm.

• 31:30Speaker 04

  Shit.

• 31:32Laci Mosley?

And he is, like, Trump has endorsed him. He's basically running on that same kind of politic. And a lot of rich people in Los Angeles are getting behind him simply because he's a puppet. He ain't, he has no experience. He don't know how to figure out a budget. He don't, he, I, I'm sure he'll be falling asleep in all of the mayoral meetings that he has to do if he is elected. Please, God, don't let it happen. But I think that scam works for him because a lot of rich people want a puppet in politics that can be bought. And we know Spencer is poor as fuck. So if anybody's offering him a coin to buy a new residence after his burn down in the fires, he probably gonna let them do whatever they want.

• 32:12Speaker 04

He's so ugly, I have to say.

• 32:15Speaker 05

He's so busted. And all his, like, campaign videos are, A, like, made by AI, but like not, not even in a compelling way. They look like shit because he's trying to take every shortcut financially because he's broke and busted.

• 32:30Laci Mosley?

And he keeps lying. Every time someone calls out that it's made from AI, mind you, city of performers and actors who do not want to be replaced by artificial intelligence. So I don't know why you think using AI is gonna convince us.

• 32:40Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 32:41Laci Mosley?

But he always says that his supporters made the AI videos, not him.

• 32:45Speaker 05

Oh, just like the other week when Trump had that AI thing of him like with the Pope, he was like, oh, my supporters made that. I just tweeted it. Like, girl, please, you're an idiot.

• 32:57Laci Mosley?

We know you were on ChatGPT and you made that yourself.

• 33:00Speaker 05

  Right.

• 33:00Laci Mosley?

At, at 3 a.m. in one of your dementia stupors.

• 33:03Speaker 05

  Right.

• 33:03Laci Mosley?

  Like, please be serious.

• 33:05Speaker 05

He's not even using Claude, like, we know.

• 33:08Laci Mosley?

So you might remember him, probably not, from The Princes of Malibu in 2005, or obviously from The Hills in 2007, where he had, he and Heidi Montag merged into Spidey and spread a rumor about Lauren Conrad and Jason Waller having a sex tape that basically reverberated across the MTV landscape for the next decade. Because in 2007, sex tapes were a thing.

• 33:36Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 33:37Laci Mosley?

You know, we had Kim K, we had Paris Hilton. Before that, poor, poor Pamela Anderson. I love you, Buki. That, that was, that was the sex tape that was super wrong. They stole that shit from her safe in her house.

• 33:50Speaker 05

And I think making the show out of it was also kind of effed up when she did not want it.

• 33:55Laci Mosley?

She did not consent to that. I was like, how you gonna make a show about a woman's consent being taken away without her consent?

• 34:02Speaker 05

Right, right. That was fucked up.

• 34:05Laci Mosley?

And then also, I thought the casting was wrong because I did watch part of it until I saw the news that Pamela Anderson did not want this to come out. And I was like, alright Hulu, I can't, she, she, I'm violating her again. But they cast Seth Rogen to be the sex tape thief.

• 34:21Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 34:21Laci Mosley?

Which I thought was terrible casting because Seth Rogen is genuinely a likable person on screen, no matter what he's doing. And I found myself trying to like. Sympathize with him. And I'm like, no, you're supposed to be the villain. I'm supposed to hate your ass. You're a bitch. And I hate you. I'm like, oh, they didn't pay him for the renovations. So he had to steal that lady's sex tape.

• 34:43Speaker 05

  Right.

• 34:44Laci Mosley?

  No.

• 34:44Speaker 05

I know they kind of like made him seem like a victim in some ways.

• 34:49Speaker 04

  They gave him a backstory.

• 34:51Speaker 05

Also, no shade to Tommy Lee, but Sebastian Stan was way too hot to be cast as that man. I'm sorry. I hate to say it.

• 34:58Speaker 04

Who made this show? Ryan Murphy?

• 35:00Laci Mosley?

  No. It's giving, right?

• 35:01Speaker 05

No, but it's giving. About making a show about people that are still alive.

• 35:06Laci Mosley?

Way more booty cheeks if it was Ryan Murphy.

• 35:08Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 35:08Laci Mosley?

Sometimes I've stumbled upon a Ryan Murphy project without knowing it's his. And because of how many tight man asses I see in the first five minutes, I'm like, did Ryan Murphy like this? And I'm looking at him like, yeah, he did.

• 35:22Speaker 04

You know, Ryan Murphy follows twink and a redhead. I think he has a little crush crush. No shade.

• 35:26Laci Mosley?

Hmm. Maybe I could definitely see you on one of his productions. You're hot enough. Both of you are.

• 35:32Speaker 05

  What?

• 35:33Laci Mosley?

  Yes.

• 35:34Speaker 05

He loves sexy people. A young sexy.

• 35:37Speaker 04

If you see my ass on TV, don't ask. Don't ask and don't tell.

• 35:42Speaker 05

  Right.

• 35:42Laci Mosley?

I'm gonna hear you, Graham, be like, I feel like I just saw your booty cheeks. Yeah, that was me.

• 35:46Speaker 04

  That was me.

• 35:48Laci Mosley?

One handed little dimple? That was me.

• 35:51Speaker 04

Yes, Ryan didn't cast me fully in a role. I was just the stunt double for the ass take. I was the ass double. Do they have those?

• 35:59Laci Mosley?

Yeah, actually. Because one time I've had a foot double. I won't put my foot, my feet on TV.

• 36:04Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 36:05Laci Mosley?

So I had to look at a lot of people's feet and like figure out which foot would look more like my foot.

• 36:10Speaker 05

  Oh, that's fun.

• 36:12Speaker 04

  Okay.

• 36:12Laci Mosley?

It was an interesting day. So in 2010, remember Spencer and Heidi are spidey. They spread a horrible sex tape rumor. And Spencer pressured Heidi Montag into getting all that plastic surgery that she got.

• 36:26Speaker 05

Oh, I'll never forget that. Holy shit, that was.

• 36:29Laci Mosley?

And she was a cute girl. She looks like the cute little white girl next door. And, and now she looks like handsome Squidward. And I don't know why.

• 36:38Speaker 05

Yeah. Yes, she's got a little botched.

• 36:40Speaker 04

She's wearing a mask. No shade.

• 36:42Laci Mosley?

And in 2010, Heidi filed for divorce, but it turned out to be a fake divorce to try to boost her music career. And they never actually separated. So she couldn't get anybody to listen to her, Bob. So she was like,

• 36:55Speaker 05

  They stayed scamming.

• 36:57Laci Mosley?

  Divorce PR is crazy.

• 36:59Speaker 04

Was she thinking people would tune in in the way like people tune into Taylor, like breakup album vibes? Like, what was the goal? I just am not following.

• 37:07Laci Mosley?

Well, I think because they had worked in reality for so long, most of their publicity boost probably came from fallouts or some kind of drama.

• 37:16Speaker 05

And he was so, him is like, she was hated after what she did to Lauren Conrad, but he was literally like the biggest villain on television at that time. The whole world hated him. So I think she probably thought she has to get rid of this guy if she wants to make it and pop. But she never did.

• 37:34Laci Mosley?

Up her social clout by like tossing him under the bus for a second. Right. The same year that they tried the fake divorce, Spencer was arrested in Costa Rica for bringing guns on an airplane and was banned from re-entering the country.

• 37:48Speaker 05

  What?

• 37:49Speaker 04

  Now, what was that about?

• 37:51Laci Mosley?

He brought some guns to Costa Rica, you know, as one does.

• 37:55Speaker 05

What, is he trying to shoot a crocodile? Like, they got to smuggle him?

• 38:00Speaker 04

He was staying strapped. He was staying strapped. You never know.

• 38:03Speaker 05

  He was staying strapped.

• 38:04Laci Mosley?

I think that should be a basic requirement for any public offices. You can't be banned from re-entering any country. Fuck you, you want to be the mayor of LA, you can't go to Costa Rica. Not that we need to go there, but like you are banned from countries. Like, that's not a good guy.

• 38:20Speaker 05

  That's a really good point. He's a freak.

• 38:23Speaker 04

I don't think you, I don't think reality stars in general should be able to run for office. No shade. I think it already shows your intentions are off.

• 38:29Speaker 05

Did you guys see Mike the Situation from Jersey Shore wants to run for office in New Jersey?

• 38:34Speaker 04

  That might be different.

• 38:36Laci Mosley?

  Oh, no.

• 38:38Speaker 05

Grant's like, he had my boat.

• 38:42Laci Mosley?

Grant's like, he's actually the silent partner in my towing company.

• 38:45Speaker 05

He literally went to federal prison for like tax evasion. I don't know if he should be a politician.

• 38:50Speaker 04

But we all know tax evasion, it could be an honest mistake.

• 38:54Laci Mosley?

No, Grant, your opinion is not valid. It's giving Jim Tan laundry. We are not listening to you.

• 38:59Speaker 04

  GTO.

• 39:01Laci Mosley?

  Jim Tow Laundry.

• 39:01Speaker 04

And is that not a perfect slogan to run for in New Jersey?

• 39:04Speaker 05

  Jim Tan Laundry?

• 39:06Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 39:07Laci Mosley?

  The cast is here.

• 39:08Speaker 04

  Situation 2028.

• 39:09Laci Mosley?

We already in a situation. We don't need no more situations.

• 39:13Speaker 05

  Right.

• 39:13Laci Mosley?

  We're trying to get out.

• 39:15Speaker 04

  Real.

• 39:15Laci Mosley?

So Spencer Pratt has been doing some lies, as we expect, right? In his mayoral campaign. So he's claimed to be living in an airstream trailer on the land where his house was lost in last year's Palisade fires. The optics were great since he's running on a platform of being mad at our current, like incumbent Democratic Mayor Karen Bass and the LA Department of Water and Power for letting his house burn down in the first place. But he's actually living in the Hotel Bel Air where rooms start at more than $1,500 a night. And what better way to fund a free lifestyle when you're broke as hell than to start an election campaign where you can take in donations?

• 40:00Laci Mosley?

And technically, you can say that living at the Bel Air Hotel is a campaign expense.

• 40:06Speaker 04

Oh my God. Also, that suit he's wearing in this picture, it does not look well fitted.

• 40:12Laci Mosley?

Yeah, he not using none of this money he's stealing for wardrobe because what is this? It's giving like, I gotta go to court real fast.

• 40:21Speaker 04

He looks built really crazy. He looks like Bill that like he could birth a baby. Oh, I'm sorry. Is that problematic to say?

• 40:30Laci Mosley?

  No.

• 40:30Speaker 04

  Oh, I'm sorry.

• 40:31Laci Mosley?

  He wishes.

• 40:33Speaker 05

  He's saying he's childbearing hips?

• 40:35Speaker 04

Yeah, he has childbearing hips. He has childbearing hips.

• 40:38Laci Mosley?

He does. He's a hippie man, for sure.

• 40:40Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 40:42Speaker 05

It's just like, what is this?

• 40:43Laci Mosley?

  Also sneakers on with it?

• 40:45Speaker 05

  This is a thing.

• 40:47Speaker 04

  Long.

• 40:48Speaker 05

This is exactly the thing that these busted corrupt politicians do. It's what Trump did while Biden was president. You act like you're like, have an active campaign. You get all these donations and they cover your lifestyle and your legal fees. Because I'm sure Spencer Pratt is gonna catch a case at some point and he's gonna need that money for some legal fees.

• 41:07Speaker 04

  Oh, wake it up.

• 41:08Speaker 05

So, yeah, it's just like a tale as old as time.

• 41:11Laci Mosley?

But it looks like the suit hates him.

• 41:13Speaker 05

It looks like he got it from Express.

• 41:15Laci Mosley?

Don't wanna be on his body.

• 41:16Speaker 04

The suit is jumping off him.

• 41:18Laci Mosley?

Yeah. And he's holding on. I don't wanna be on this man.

• 41:21Speaker 05

He could use a tailor. He could use a tailor.

• 41:24Laci Mosley?

I've never seen someone who I could smell through a photo. He looks like he smells bad.

• 41:28Speaker 05

  It look.

• 41:29Speaker 04

  And it's thick.

• 41:30Speaker 05

I know he's got Axe on. Doesn't he look like that type of guy too?

• 41:34Laci Mosley?

Mm-hmm. Like a body spray that makes her eyes burn for sure.

• 41:37Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 41:38Speaker 04

The blue Axe that is used in seventh grade locker rooms.

• 41:41Speaker 05

That's exactly what I was thinking of.

• 41:43Laci Mosley?

Like, right after the boys would like work out in PE and then instead of showering, they just sprayed themselves. Hosed themselves down with that blue Axe.

• 41:51Speaker 05

Yeah, he's taking a cologne shower.

• 41:53Laci Mosley?

Yeah, he gives cologne shower and I feel like his breath smells like shrimp cocktail and bourbon.

• 41:58Speaker 05

Oh, poor Heidi. Well, she made her bed.

• 42:03Laci Mosley?

So Spencer has gone on Infowars with Alex Jones multiple times and said he thinks nine eleven was an inside job. Oh, yeah, Infowars, where they make up all the info? I can't believe Alex Jones is still doing this shit because he got sued by everyone. He said Sandy Hook was a hoax. And the families of Sandy Hook sued the fuck out of him and they own everything he's got now.

• 42:24Speaker 04

He's an idiot. He is a moron.

• 42:29Laci Mosley?

Spencer's gone on Infowars and said nine eleven was a hoax. And an inside job. He does not believe in global warming.

• 42:38Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 42:38Laci Mosley?

  And defended Sandy Hook deniers.

• 42:41Speaker 05

  Oh, I remember this.

• 42:42Laci Mosley?

Luckily, he had his ass didn't get sued with Alex, but he hopped on the bandwagon with Alex, saying that these poor families who had their children gunned down at an elementary school were not real.

• 42:55Speaker 04

What the hell? What is this bitch even running on? Like if he-

• 42:59Speaker 05

It's basically, he's running on that his house burned down in the Palisades fire.

• 43:03Speaker 04

  Okay, what is he like?

• 43:05Laci Mosley?

Karen Bass has had some failed policies.

• 43:08Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 43:09Laci Mosley?

Being the mayor of LA is more complicated than people think, because it's not just like you have absolute power. You're also working with city council. You're also like submitting things that can get vetoed based on your political enemies. And I don't think it's fair to blame fire on Karen Bass. I'm sorry. Fire and like Santa Anna wins? And you didn't have insurance on your home, bitch? That's on you.

• 43:32Speaker 05

  Mm-hmm.

• 43:32Laci Mosley?

Now, I will say, he might live in an area, I will give him this benefit of a doubt. There are certain areas in Los Angeles now that home insurance won't cover. So there's certain parts of Malibu where you cannot get home insurance, because they're like, we know your house gonna burn down, and we ain't giving you that money.

• 43:48Speaker 04

That's insane. They banned home insurance? Because they know that that could happen?

• 43:56Laci Mosley?

  Yes.

• 43:57Speaker 04

And they want y'all to pay up?

• 43:58Laci Mosley?

Because, I mean, insurance is a Ponzi scheme, and their best bet is nothing happens to you, and you pay into the fund and never need to use it.

• 44:05Speaker 05

  Right.

• 44:06Laci Mosley?

So if you live in an area where you definitely probably will at some point need it, they was like, mm-mm, we ain't giving y'all insurance no more.

• 44:13Speaker 04

  Oh, my God.

• 44:15Laci Mosley?

All stay safe, bitch, you not in good hands. We letting you go.

• 44:18Speaker 04

Yeah. It sounds like something Spencer will probably make citywide, that you can't get insurance, just for fun.

• 44:24Laci Mosley?

  Drag us all to hell.

• 44:25Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 44:25Laci Mosley?

So Spencer has been, you know, reposting those AI-generated videos that he said is like his fans creating them. Some of them depict him as Luke Skywalker, Batman, defending a dystopian Los Angeles from Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass. He's Batman. Honestly, I don't think that we would love Batman if Batman was real. Because essentially Batman is just a bored ass billionaire who's mad that his parents are dead. So he gotta tear up the city every night. Nobody asked him to tear the city up every night.

• 44:57Speaker 05

I also don't think we would love Batman if he had the physique of Spencer Pratt.

• 45:01Speaker 04

No, I was just gonna say that.

• 45:03Speaker 05

I don't think he would be saving the day. I think he would be, you know, at a drive thru. No shade.

• 45:09Speaker 04

Yeah, at least Batman was hot. Yeah, the Batmobile would be in the fucking, the fucking In-N-Out every day. Oh. Oh, that's my bad.

• 45:17Speaker 05

  Literally.

• 45:18Speaker 04

But you know, like, yeah, he's not, he's not built to be a superhero.

• 45:22Laci Mosley?

No, if he came to rescue me, I'd be like, ah, like, yeah, I'm good, actually. I'm gonna take the robbery. I'm gonna get mugged. No, you, you go about your day.

• 45:33Speaker 04

Yeah, it's like embarrassing if he was to come rescue you. Like, oh my god.

• 45:37Laci Mosley?

And that's TikTok savants. I wonder if you've heard this. There was a trend of groups of MAGA voters outside of state claiming that they'll travel to California to illegally vote for Spencer in the primary election.

• 45:50Speaker 04

  What?

• 45:50Laci Mosley?

This June. Mm-hmm. It's not clear if people will really do this, but if they try, they would probably be turned away at the polls since their names would not appear on a voter registration list. But Spencer does have the MAGA bump, which apparently is still a bump. He's got endorsements from Trump, Adam Carolla, Joe Rogan, and James Woods. And you know, Joe Rogan.

• 46:11Speaker 04

They all look the same, these people on TikTok, by the way. No shade.

• 46:14Laci Mosley?

Joe Rogan is inspirational to me because to go from making people eat cow testicles on, on network TV to being a thought leader?

• 46:26Speaker 05

  Mm-huh.

• 46:27Speaker 04

Let's think for a moment. Let's, let's lock in and critically think about this, y'all.

• 46:32Laci Mosley?

Oh, no. If you listen to Joe Rogan, you're not a critical thinker.

• 46:35Speaker 05

Yeah, you're, you lack, you lack that gene. It's crazy because all, all those men that you just listed as like endorsing him, it's just such an interesting, um, example of like, men that have such toxic masculinity, but at the end of the day, they're all such fucking losers that like, I would not trust to protect me at all. It's just so interesting and they're all so busted. Like, that is such a pattern we see here in MAGA in general.

• 47:02Laci Mosley?

Straight men, they love to be like, well, who would protect you if men didn't exist? I'm like, we wouldn't need protection if y'all weren't here.

• 47:12Speaker 05

  Right.

• 47:13Laci Mosley?

You know, the bear or the man in the woods? Yeah, we still choosing the bear.

• 47:17Speaker 05

  The bear, always the bear.

• 47:19Speaker 04

What if it was Grant or the bear? The bear.

• 47:23Laci Mosley?

I would go with Grant. I don't know. Where's my car parked at the time?

• 47:27Speaker 05

  Right.

• 47:28Speaker 04

It's safely at the hiking parking lot.

• 47:33Laci Mosley?

So I don't want to tell you guys who to vote for, but well, I do want to tell. I'm a thought leader too, damn it. I am telling you, don't vote for fucking Spencer Pratt.

• 47:41Speaker 04

  That's idiotic.

• 47:42Laci Mosley?

The guy who had a song called I'm a Celebrity in which he calls himself the white Jay-Z? Can we all be serious? No.

• 47:49Speaker 04

He's def a puppet and I feel like these people just want attention in any way. And he's such a flop and has fallen so far off that, okay, let me run for office. Dr. Oz did it too, did he not?

• 48:01Laci Mosley?

Yeah. And honestly, it's not farfetched. We've had Mayor Eric Adams, who literally just was at the club the whole time he was mayor and stealing money and going to Turkey all the goddamn time. You know, we had Toronto's crack mayor, Rob Ford, mayor fully doing crack. You know, which crack does give you energy. So, you know, he might have been working on policy.

• 48:21Speaker 05

  Okay.

• 48:22Laci Mosley?

While he was doing that crack.

• 48:24Speaker 05

We gotta give him the benefit of the doubt.

• 48:25Speaker 04

How's it any different than drinking a Celsius? You know what I mean?

• 48:28Laci Mosley?

Yeah, it's just a faster Celsius.

• 48:30Speaker 04

Yeah. It's more effective. It's prescription Celsius.

• 48:36Laci Mosley?

  Prescription crack is crazy.

• 48:39Speaker 04

He was prescribed as the mayor.

• 48:41Laci Mosley?

Well, honestly, I have ADHD and they're definitely giving us prescription meth. They're like, you can't clean your room? Take this prescription meth and then you'll be able to do all of your chores.

• 48:50Speaker 04

  Yeah. Okay, wake it up.

• 48:53Laci Mosley?

  Fair enough.

• 48:55Speaker 04

  Fair enough.

• 48:56Laci Mosley?

We're gonna move on to, uh, we're gonna stay in the mayor situation here for a second. We have a Georgia mayor who fires a whole police force on behalf of his wife.

• 49:07Speaker 04

  That's sweet.

• 49:08Laci Mosley?

So on May 6th, Mayor Ron Schmick of Concord, Georgia.

• 49:13Speaker 04

Oh, sorry, they just pulled up a picture. That looks like one of the house goblins or...

• 49:18Laci Mosley?

I was gonna say Gringotts in Harry Potter.

• 49:20Speaker 04

Gringotts, that looks like the Gringotts bank goblin.

• 49:23Speaker 05

He looks like he's from Gringotts.

• 49:24Laci Mosley?

Yo, that jump scare was crazy.

• 49:27Speaker 04

  That was really scary.

• 49:29Speaker 05

  That comb over.

• 49:30Laci Mosley?

Jessica, you could've gave us a warning. You can't just throw a picture up like that.

• 49:33Speaker 04

Just ask, have you been to Universal Studios Orlando, Lacey?

• 49:37Laci Mosley?

  No.

• 49:38Speaker 04

Oh my god, you have to go to Universal Studios Orlando. You have to go to Diagon Alley, walk into Gringotts Bank, and that man is sitting right there.

• 49:48Speaker 05

Every single, every single goblin looks like this random mayor from Georgia. It's actually insane.

• 49:54Laci Mosley?

His face is the sub of nightmares. And so he's the mayor of Kahuta in Georgia. It's a town of 800 people. He's been the mayor since 2014. Kahuta isn't known for much. Kahuta?

• 50:06Speaker 05

  Kahuta?

• 50:07Speaker 04

Okay. Is it north, north, south Georgia? Where in Georgia?

• 50:11Laci Mosley?

I don't know where Kahuta is. Uh, I'm not a map.

• 50:14Speaker 04

  Cooter, Georgia?

• 50:16Laci Mosley?

Kahuta is known for anything really, other than being the birthplace of Donald Trump's second wife, Marla Maples, who he shares Tiffany with. That's the one we never see.

• 50:26Speaker 05

Yeah, cuz she's, you know, leaves a lot to be desired.

• 50:30Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 50:32Speaker 04

She did the, the Trump, Gaze for Trump rally, that one time they sent her off to do that.

• 50:36Speaker 05

She was coked out. She had coke jaw the entire time.

• 50:39Speaker 04

  Ooh.

• 50:39Laci Mosley?

I mean, allegedly. But at least she's at the, Gaze for Trump is crazy.

• 50:45Speaker 04

  It's trees for deforestation, mama.

• 50:47Speaker 05

  Right, right.

• 50:49Speaker 04

  Like, okay.

• 50:51Laci Mosley?

  Trees for access.

• 50:55Laci Mosley?

Ron fired the whole, the police department after some officers made inappropriate comments about his wife Pam on Facebook. Pam had previously worked as a town clerk in Kahuta until she was fired in 2025 for allegedly creating a hostile work environment, but she continued working for the town afterwards. She gives hostile work environment. Her whole face.

• 51:16Speaker 05

Those highlights are hostile work environment.

• 51:19Laci Mosley?

  Yes.

• 51:19Speaker 05

  Jesus.

• 51:21Laci Mosley?

Those are the highlights of a menace to society.

• 51:24Speaker 05

Yeah, she's still asking for a balayage in 2026.

• 51:28Speaker 04

The eyebrows are a little too thin.

• 51:30Laci Mosley?

Yes, it's giving cartoon villain, for sure.

• 51:33Speaker 04

But she might be sweet. She might be sweet, y'all.

• 51:36Speaker 05

  No, no.

• 51:38Laci Mosley?

If you're in Kahuta and your husband is the mayor and you somehow still managed to get fired, that's how much they can't stand your ass? You a villain.

• 51:47Speaker 04

Do we know what she, what was she doing for the city? Do we know?

• 51:51Laci Mosley?

  She was a clerk.

• 51:52Speaker 04

  What the hell's a clerk?

• 51:54Laci Mosley?

They'd be working in like the courthouse.

• 51:55Speaker 05

Like that woman, Kim Davis, remember that would deny gay marriage licenses? She was a clerk.

• 52:01Speaker 04

She's like such, she's one of my favorite problematic icons. She is just such a character.

• 52:06Laci Mosley?

I think he goes beyond problematic, she's a bigot.

• 52:08Speaker 05

  She is.

• 52:09Speaker 04

  She's a bitch.

• 52:10Speaker 05

She's one of my favorite bigots.

• 52:12Speaker 04

She is, she is, she deadass is. Cause she is so gung ho on that.

• 52:17Laci Mosley?

We're all allowed one favorite bigot.

• 52:18Speaker 05

We can all have one. Mine's the, mine's the January 6th grandma.

• 52:22Speaker 04

  Oh, yes.

• 52:25Speaker 05

  That's my favorite bigot.

• 52:27Speaker 04

They're just iconic. Like Kim Davis is iconic in, if it's a spectrum, like it's on the wrong end of the spectrum, but like,

• 52:35Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 52:35Speaker 04

I would be her for Halloween, you know what I mean?

• 52:38Laci Mosley?

Sure, sure, sure, sure. And you should be here for Halloween because the bitch is scary.

• 52:43Speaker 04

  Wake it up.

• 52:45Laci Mosley?

In response to them trashing Pam on Facebook, Ron eliminated the police force. He defunded the police. Damn.

• 52:55Speaker 04

  Oh.

• 52:56Laci Mosley?

Not him lowkey being an activist.

• 52:58Speaker 05

It's like when you go so far, right? Somehow you end up on the left.

• 53:01Speaker 04

  You're liberal.

• 53:02Laci Mosley?

  It's the block.

• 53:04Speaker 04

So he defunded the police because she got fired?

• 53:07Laci Mosley?

Yes, and they were talking shit about her on Facebook. He did not like the Facebook comments.

• 53:12Speaker 05

  Dad.

• 53:14Laci Mosley?

So he said, we're getting rid of the police. And so he recommended that people who needed law enforcement call a non-emergency number. Ron was violating the town charter, but it didn't seem to faze him. In an interview, he said, it's a guy thing. You know, occasionally college football programs, you, you, you have to change the coach. And sometimes people like it, some don't. And that's just kind of the way it happens sometimes, you know?

• 53:38Speaker 04

Guys, I kind of love him. Oh.

• 53:42Speaker 05

  I just.

• 53:42Laci Mosley?

What do you mean is a guy thing? I'm so tired of violent guy things.

• 53:46Speaker 04

  No, he's an idiot.

• 53:47Laci Mosley?

  War is a guy thing.

• 53:48Speaker 05

  Right.

• 53:49Laci Mosley?

If you guys really wanna fight over land or territory, take your asses to Greenland and square up. And we can have a UFC match, a little boxing match. Whoever wins gets the territory. Why do we have to get involved?

• 53:58Speaker 05

Right. And also, it is just like, the irony, it's crazy how it's so lost on these fucking morons that like, with Trump and the January 6th police officers, he's like giving money to the people that like beat these men up. And they're, but then they're like, oh, blue lives matter. Like, you all are a bunch of fucking morons.

• 54:18Laci Mosley?

The goalpost keeps moving. Cause y'all used to love police so bad.

• 54:22Speaker 05

  Right.

• 54:22Laci Mosley?

And now, police officers died as a result of January 6th.

• 54:26Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 54:27Laci Mosley?

It's traumatic and horrible. I'm like, y'all talk about back the blue. Now y'all talk about beat them till they black and blue? Which is it?

• 54:32Speaker 05

And now you're literally, the slush fund, they're giving money to the people that beat the police officers up. Like, are we serious?

• 54:40Laci Mosley?

He's trying to. Every, they're trying to do everything to beat these midterms. They done told us they gonna cheat. They told us they gonna bribe. They gonna steal. They gonna lie. We, we know.

• 54:50Speaker 05

  It's crazy.

• 54:51Laci Mosley?

And speaking of guys who are bad at being in charge, let's talk about the United Airlines CEO. Flying American.

• 54:58Speaker 05

  What?

• 54:59Speaker 04

  Recently?

• 55:00Laci Mosley?

Scott Kirby. Yeah. Scott Kirby. The CEO of United Airlines was caught.

• 55:05Speaker 04

  Oh, God.

• 55:06Laci Mosley?

Flying first class on an American Airlines flight.

• 55:10Speaker 05

  That is funny.

• 55:12Speaker 04

That is funny as fuck. I'm sorry.

• 55:14Laci Mosley?

And he got caught because he took a selfie with American Airlines flight attendant Christine Tiley. Christine posted the pic on Facebook. Facebook getting y'all old motherfuckers in trouble.

• 55:25Speaker 05

  Right.

• 55:25Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 55:27Speaker 05

  I love her.

• 55:29Speaker 04

  She's iconic.

• 55:30Laci Mosley?

I'm gonna get back on Facebook because Facebook is where everyone documents their crimes. That's how they caught half the January 6ers. They were posting photos and then the FBI was in the comments like, can you tag them?

• 55:42Speaker 04

Oh my god, but was he, did he not think like, oh, this could be bad? Or he looks like he's having fun, like they both look like they're having a who?

• 55:51Laci Mosley?

I feel like Scott Kirby wants to be a celebrity. We used to not know who the CEOs were. We used to not know who the director of the FBI was. Everybody who works in these large corporations, they're no longer happy with just stealing exorbitant amounts of money from wages from people who deserve it with their bonuses and their bailouts. Now they want to be famous too.

• 56:17Speaker 04

Yeah, they do press tours, they do podcasts, they, yeah, they're always being seen.

• 56:22Speaker 05

It's crazy because did this flight attendant, like she recognized him? She was like, oh.

• 56:27Laci Mosley?

I mean, she do work in air.

• 56:28Speaker 04

  She's in the industry.

• 56:29Speaker 05

She's into aviation CEOs, I suppose, but I would not.

• 56:35Laci Mosley?

This is how I would take a picture with a writer who I know is like the baddest bitch, rich as fuck. And the industry people will know who this photo is with, but the everyday person wouldn't know that this person runs the industry.

• 56:50Speaker 05

She's gonna gag her friends in aviation. Like she knew this was her big one.

• 56:54Laci Mosley?

I saw she put it on Facebook. She's like, eh.

• 56:56Speaker 04

But he's smiling in a way that's like, oh, yes, finally. Like some people are asking for a picture, like everyone's gonna clock this, like, yes, of course.

• 57:03Laci Mosley?

  I'm a star. I knew I was a star. And that's what it's giving.

• 57:07Speaker 04

She, you could tell her smile, she's being like, it's, her friends are gonna gag.

• 57:11Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 57:12Laci Mosley?

This is her post on Facebook, she says in all quotes, or I'm sorry, in all caps, she says, "Look who I had in my first class today from SFO."

• 57:22Speaker 04

Oh, she knew what she was doing. She was kind, I feel like she was kind of maybe throwing like a bit of, I mean, not shade per se, but she was stirring the pot a bit. She was setting people up to like.

• 57:32Laci Mosley?

She was, but she was giving like, this is my homie. She says, "What a great guy, just as nice as he was back in the day. He misses us, lol, and tells everyone, hi."

• 57:43Speaker 05

Did he used to work for American?

• 57:47Laci Mosley?

Before he became the CEO of United, Scott was president of American Airlines from 2013 to 2016. He was let go in 2016 and immediately failed right back upward as a white man does, who still retains most of their hair.

• 58:03Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 58:03Laci Mosley?

And he started working for United. And as a part of his exit package, he got unlimited flight privileges on American Airlines for life. So it's not actually that strange to see him on an American flight. What's weird is that he keeps trash talking American Airlines in public while behind the scenes, he was trying to merge United with them until they rejected him a month ago.

• 58:25Speaker 05

Oh my god, I am not fucking with Scott anymore. That is crazy.

• 58:31Laci Mosley?

I don't know, Scott is kind of a messy queen.

• 58:34Speaker 05

  You love Scott.

• 58:35Speaker 04

I think he was being like kinda undercover with it, like going on these American flights. Like he's seeing like what I can take back to United, what, how we can work together.

• 58:44Laci Mosley?

Well, you know, rich people love free shit. You got free unlimited flights.

• 58:47Speaker 05

No one loves hoarding their money more than rich people. Like they are the cheapest of them all. But I will say, he looks like the type of man I'd like to have a margarita with. Like I know he can wean out and have a good time.

• 58:59Laci Mosley?

Wean out. I feel like this is the type of man that like I'm at a resort, you know, in Punta Cana.

• 59:06Speaker 05

  We're having a pina colada.

• 59:07Laci Mosley?

They're at the table next to us and then we all start yapping and then drinks are flowing. And all of a sudden, we order a tomahawk steak with gold on it and then flambe in front of us. He feels like a very good time. He knows how to, he knows how to have a good time.

• 59:23Speaker 04

And if I like was let go by a company, like me being me, I kinda have like bad, I would like be shady with it. I would burn that bridge, but it's sweet that he's like, I can still go on an American flight and still feel fine. Well.

• 59:36Speaker 05

  But not publicly.

• 59:38Laci Mosley?

He wasn't like our, like the mayor's wife who was terrorizing the clerk's office.

• 59:43Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 59:43Laci Mosley?

Weirdly, he, the employees loved him. He was working there for three years and they were like, oh my god, my homie back. And he's still amazing.

• 59:51Speaker 05

That's true. To have your employee post you on Facebook because she's gagging for you so much.

• 59:56Speaker 04

  Your ex-employee.

• 59:57Speaker 05

It does say something about Scott.

• 1:00:00Laci Mosley?

It's given they both took to a little airport vodka's and had a little shot.

• 1:00:04Speaker 05

Yeah, it looks like they're having a good time.

• 1:00:07Laci Mosley?

They having a real good time. Also, I think strategically, he might have been shitting on American Airlines, trying to lower their value because he was trying to absorb them.

• 1:00:15Speaker 05

Okay, it's just a businessman. What can we say?

• 1:00:18Laci Mosley?

What can we say? He a businessman doing businesses.

• 1:00:21Speaker 05

  Right.

• 1:00:22Laci Mosley?

I love that we excuse horrific human behavior for business. Like, no, they're a businessman.

• 1:00:29Speaker 04

  It's business. It's strictly business.

• 1:00:31Laci Mosley?

Those Chilean workers had to die.

• 1:00:33Speaker 05

  It's business.

• 1:00:34Laci Mosley?

  Cause business.

• 1:00:34Speaker 04

It's, that happens sometimes with business, you know?

• 1:00:37Speaker 05

That's how you get your MBA, you know?

• 1:00:40Speaker 04

It's give and take, you know?

• 1:00:42Laci Mosley?

Sure, give and take. Give a, give a little money, not enough, and take a life.

• 1:00:46Speaker 04

A life, take a life. Yes, absolutely.

• 1:00:50Laci Mosley?

So, now let's, let's hop over into something quite different. Still a vibe, though. Also, someone that I would love to have dinner with at a resort. Dua Lipa and Samsung.

• 1:01:02Speaker 05

  What's going on here?

• 1:01:04Speaker 04

Oh, the TV. I know this.

• 1:01:07Laci Mosley?

Finally, Dua Lipa is suing Samsung, finally, guys, finally, for at least fifteen million dollars, plus potentially profits and punitive damages, et cetera, after the company used a photo of her on television packaging without permission.

• 1:01:26Speaker 04

  Guys, I'm here for it.

• 1:01:27Laci Mosley?

Grant, you guessed it immediately. You said the TVs. You saw Dua? You saw Dua on the TV?

• 1:01:33Speaker 04

I, yes, and I saw this whole little thing, and I'm like, yeah, why are they kind of milking her a bit? But then I was tuning in, because I used to work at ABC News, and so I clocked the ABC News Live picture as well, and I was like, how does it work with, like, what goes on the preview picture? You know what I mean? Because can ABC News be like, we didn't tell y'all to put us up there, can we sue?

• 1:01:53Laci Mosley?

I also have worked for ABC News. That's what Scam Goddess is produced through on Hulu, yeah.

• 1:01:58Speaker 04

  Girl, I was there.

• 1:02:00Laci Mosley?

ABC News would probably take the free press.

• 1:02:01Speaker 04

They would. I was there when we were developing your show, ABC News Studios. Hello.

• 1:02:05Laci Mosley?

  What?

• 1:02:05Speaker 05

Oh my God, you guys are coworkers.

• 1:02:08Speaker 04

I was actually, oh my God, I was on the ground floor, because I was an EA for, like, the executive producers and whatnot, and I, like, was like, this needs to be a thing.

• 1:02:17Laci Mosley?

  Oh my goodness.

• 1:02:19Speaker 04

Because I was like, I'm a congregation listener. Yeah, that's tea.

• 1:02:22Laci Mosley?

  World's collide.

• 1:02:23Speaker 04

  Wake it up.

• 1:02:24Laci Mosley?

Wake it up, Grant, yes. Now, they put Dua, Dua Lipa on this TV, like, "Dance the night away by yourself, Samsung, today." She was like, I did not- I don't get no coin from this. Who put my face on here?

• 1:02:38Speaker 04

And it's old era Dua. Like, that's not even new Dua at all. Like, this is, this is giving like debut era Dua Lipa circa 2017.

• 1:02:46Laci Mosley?

And I can dance now. I'm not doing that same weird body roll.

• 1:02:50Speaker 05

Yeah, she learned how to dance. And I think Samsung needs to come up with like the equivalent of like Roku City, like a nondescript thing that you could just put on your TVs. You can't be putting IP on there.

• 1:03:02Laci Mosley?

I mean, so this picture was taken during her 2024 Austin City Limits Festival performance, and Dua owns the copyright to the photograph.

• 1:03:11Speaker 04

Oh, she got their ass. No shade.

• 1:03:14Speaker 05

  Damn, good for her.

• 1:03:15Laci Mosley?

She first noticed her appearance on Samsung boxes in June of 2025. Fans on social media started posting about it, describing it as the Dua Lipa TV box. Now, she does have brand deals with Puma, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Apple, Porsche, and Chanel, but not Samsung.

• 1:03:37Laci Mosley?

Samsung apparently ignored repeat demands to cease and desist from infringing on her rights. They said, "This TV's selling too good, baby."

• 1:03:45Speaker 04

Yeah, that's funny as fuck. They're like, "We're, we, sorry, girl, but we're not taking it off the shelves. I don't know what you want us to do about that." It's already at the Best Buys. Like, what you want us to tell Best Buy? Like, it would be a hassle.

• 1:03:58Speaker 05

It would. And I mean, in the grand, grand scheme of things, to a corporation like Samsung is $15 million. Like, that big of a deal to them?

• 1:04:06Laci Mosley?

They probably made more selling her face on the TV box.

• 1:04:09Speaker 05

  Right.

• 1:04:09Speaker 04

  Right.

• 1:04:10Speaker 05

They should just settle. Settle with Dua.

• 1:04:12Speaker 04

And I can't even lie. Like, I am a Dua stan. If I was in Best Buy perusing the aisles and I saw a Dua Lipa TV, it would draw my attention. So maybe give her her coin.

• 1:04:23Speaker 05

  She should get her coin.

• 1:04:25Laci Mosley?

I would look immediately at that TV. I said, "Ooh, I can see Dua in 4K."

• 1:04:29Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:04:31Laci Mosley?

  Don't mind if I do.

• 1:04:32Speaker 04

Don't mind if I do what?

• 1:04:34Speaker 05

She's a, did you guys see she's, she's a newlywed? She got married yesterday.

• 1:04:39Speaker 04

  What?

• 1:04:39Laci Mosley?

  Aw, congratulations.

• 1:04:41Speaker 04

  Congratulations.

• 1:04:42Laci Mosley?

You said something gonna pay for your wedding, girl.

• 1:04:44Speaker 05

  Yeah, she needs that money.

• 1:04:45Laci Mosley?

And you're still gonna be on that TV. They not letting you go. They not letting you go. It's like with pharmaceutical companies where a few people die on the prescription medication. They get sued, they pay it out, but the drug stays on the market.

• 1:04:56Speaker 05

  Exactly.

• 1:04:57Speaker 04

  I think that's tea.

• 1:04:59Speaker 05

  That's a great business model.

• 1:05:01Speaker 04

She needs the money to continue to travel. You know, I think that's really important for her to continue that lifestyle.

• 1:05:09Laci Mosley?

A spokesperson for Samsung did say that Dewa's image was used in 2025 to reflect the content of our third-party partners that are available on Samsung TVs and was originally provided by a content partner for our free streaming service. So they say it's not us, the content partner that we partner with gave us the photo. And then we, so call them.

• 1:05:31Speaker 04

So they took a screenshot and they?

• 1:05:35Speaker 05

  Put it everywhere.

• 1:05:35Speaker 04

They took a screenshot of their homepage and basically just put it on their box. Okay, I mean.

• 1:05:40Laci Mosley?

They say it wasn't us. So Dewa's reps say using her image has caused and continues to cause dilution of her brand identity and commercial goodwill by falsely conveying to the consuming public that she approves and endorses Samsung TVs. I have Samsung TVs, they're good TVs.

• 1:05:57Speaker 04

They are. It's one thing if it was, what's that TV called? I don't know, what's a busted TV?

• 1:06:03Speaker 05

  Ooh, what's a busted TV?

• 1:06:05Speaker 04

Like a, I mean, the Roku brand TVs aren't always that great.

• 1:06:10Laci Mosley?

  Vizio.

• 1:06:11Speaker 04

A Vizio used to be tea, though.

• 1:06:13Laci Mosley?

We was in college, Vizio got us through college, okay?

• 1:06:17Speaker 05

  Right.

• 1:06:17Speaker 04

And Vizio, I feel like was one of the first flat screens. Were y'all tuned into TVs like I was?

• 1:06:23Laci Mosley?

It was skinny, it was skinny. I was tuned into TVs because my parents are very into TVs. Uh, which I'm now realizing that as I'm saying this to y'all. Because like, any new TV that came out, we had it. I remember the first like, big screen TVs that came out. They were like full size and they had a booty in the back.

• 1:06:40Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 1:06:41Laci Mosley?

And, yes. And, and that was right when TiVo came out. I'll never forget that TiVo came out right in time for the Super Bowl, where Justin Timberlake ripped out Janet Jackson's titty. And we had TiVo, so we was like, was that a titty? And we were all having a watch party at the house. And so they rewinded it on the TiVo. It was like, damn, that is a titty. Paused it, rewinded it, paused it, rewinded it. Honestly, I think that TiVo is the real reason why Janet Jackson got so much backlash is because a lot of motherfuckers out there could pause and be like, yeah, that is a titty.

• 1:07:12Speaker 04

  Damn.

• 1:07:13Speaker 05

Maybe TiVo planned it. Conspiracy theor.

• 1:07:17Laci Mosley?

  Janet Jackson saw TiVo.

• 1:07:18Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 1:07:19Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:07:20Speaker 05

  She should.

• 1:07:21Speaker 04

Yeah, for damages. If it didn't exist, maybe it wouldn't have even been that big of a thing.

• 1:07:25Speaker 05

  Right. Thanks, TiVo.

• 1:07:27Laci Mosley?

It would've been like a flash, and we would've been like, what was that?

• 1:07:30Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:07:30Laci Mosley?

And then TiVo would be like, what was that? TiVo was like, I'll tell you.

• 1:07:37Laci Mosley?

Oh, my goodness. So, do you think that Samsung is destroying Dua Lipa? Are they scamming Dua Lipa? They are scamming her because they're using her likeness without her permission. But is it hurting her brand?

• 1:07:49Speaker 05

I don't think it's hurting her brand. But if I were her, I'd be pissed and I'd, I'd expect you to cash me a check because you're using my likeness to sell your TV.

• 1:07:58Speaker 04

I'm obsessed with like both sides of it. Like, I think Dua, like, it makes sense and it's valid. But I'm obsessed with Samsung, like, just not answering.

• 1:08:06Speaker 05

  Ghosting.

• 1:08:07Speaker 04

  Continuing to ignore it.

• 1:08:09Laci Mosley?

  They left Dua on red.

• 1:08:10Speaker 04

Yeah, like, they're like, honey, we're Samsung. We get your Dua Lipa, but we're Samsung. Yeah, like, wake it up. We do TVs, phones, they do it all. Like, this little box is gonna bother us? No.

• 1:08:23Laci Mosley?

  No.

• 1:08:24Speaker 04

No, we're kicking it on the show.

• 1:08:26Laci Mosley?

We're gonna keep our ass on there because it's doing great.

• 1:08:28Speaker 04

And we're gonna make some restock of it, too, with a bigger, with a bigger screen.

• 1:08:32Laci Mosley?

Y'all print out some newer Dua's.

• 1:08:36Speaker 04

It would be funny as fuck if they released a new one and it's just a different picture of Dua.

• 1:08:42Speaker 05

  They keep doing it.

• 1:08:44Speaker 04

Unbothered they are, like it's really funny, but like, yeah, I feel like they probably should run her a check, especially if she owns the photo. I don't know.

• 1:08:52Speaker 05

And I really do think fifteen million dollars is nothing to Samsung. Like, I'm sure the CEO.

• 1:08:58Laci Mosley?

And they've already made that selling Dua.

• 1:08:59Speaker 05

  Exactly.

• 1:09:01Laci Mosley?

  Dua Vision.

• 1:09:03Speaker 05

  It's Dua Vision.

• 1:09:04Speaker 04

They need to just settle. They need to settle.

• 1:09:06Speaker 05

Just settle. Work it out, guys.

• 1:09:07Speaker 04

No one's wrong. No one's wrong, but let's settle.

• 1:09:09Laci Mosley?

And I do understand, like, if you're this caliber celebrity and the brands that you're endorsing are like Chanel, very high fashion, very high end, respected brand, and Apple, very expensive, respected, Yves Saint Laurent, you know, like, all of those are kind of high end. So Dua might be looking at Samsung like, uh, why y'all got my face on this box for cut coat knives?

• 1:09:28Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:09:29Speaker 05

That's true because, because there are certain celebrities, Sydney Sweeney, who will take any brand deal she could get, and I feel like it kind of cheapens your brand. So Dua's got to be careful of that.

• 1:09:40Speaker 04

Yeah, Dua's very luxury and luxe and Samsung.

• 1:09:43Laci Mosley?

  She's luxurious.

• 1:09:43Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 1:09:44Laci Mosley?

  That's not a word, luxurious.

• 1:09:46Speaker 04

Yeah, and she's partnered with tech already and it's Apple. It's not gonna be Samsung, mama.

• 1:09:51Speaker 05

  Oh, I am.

• 1:09:52Laci Mosley?

Sydney Sweeney's like, I will sell my bathwater.

• 1:09:54Speaker 05

  No, literally.

• 1:09:55Speaker 04

Sydney Sweeney's partnering with Vizio as we speak. On a box.

• 1:10:00Speaker 05

And for some reason, she's gonna be naked on it.

• 1:10:03Laci Mosley?

And the box is just like, yeah, she's gonna be naked and there's like a really up close shot on the back that's just her coochie. And why is there a pink pussy on the back of this box?

• 1:10:11Speaker 05

And she'll probably be saying something vaguely racist, like, that's gonna be Sydney.

• 1:10:16Speaker 04

And it'll sell. And you know what?

• 1:10:18Speaker 05

  Unfortunately, it's gonna sell.

• 1:10:20Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:10:21Laci Mosley?

Do you wanna see white skin lighter and brighter than ever?

• 1:10:26Laci Mosley?

Vizio by Sydney Sweeney, the master race TV.

• 1:10:31Speaker 04

The pink pussy on the back.

• 1:10:33Speaker 05

That's what it's gonna be. Damn.

• 1:10:39Laci Mosley?

Oh my god. Oh, well, we're gonna wrap things up here. So before we go, Lego pasta swap. So a guy used pasta to steal thirty-four thousand dollars worth of Lego sets. So police in LA arrested Jarrell Augustine for buying thirty-four thousand dollars worth of Star Wars and Marvel Lego sets. Replacing the bricks and minifigs inside with dried felusi pasta. And returning the boxes to the stores.

• 1:11:14Speaker 05

Oh, did he paint the pasta?

• 1:11:16Laci Mosley?

I feel like the pasta has the same kind of weight and shake of a Lego.

• 1:11:23Speaker 04

  Yeah, it does, for sure.

• 1:11:24Laci Mosley?

So it sound like the Lego up in there when it's not. Now, some of these Lego sets, because I'm talking about the Star Wars Legos, the Marvel Legos.

• 1:11:31Speaker 04

  They're up there.

• 1:11:32Laci Mosley?

They can run more than five hundred dollars a set. So Jarrell targeted Targets in Texas, Tennessee, New Jersey, and Florida. And for the most part, the returns worked. Now, you targeted Targets, so as a DEI myself. I'm not really mad, I'm not really mad, Jarrell.

• 1:11:51Speaker 05

Yeah, I'm not too mad about this.

• 1:11:53Speaker 04

  So he took-

• 1:11:53Laci Mosley?

I've never met a white Jarrell, so it's giving, it's giving you a part of my race.

• 1:11:59Speaker 04

So was, he was taking the boxes, unbox, did he buy them at first? And then would unbox them and then return them to get the money back?

• 1:12:08Speaker 05

And was he then building all these Star Wars sets? What was he doing with all this Lego?

• 1:12:12Laci Mosley?

Yeah, what, did he want these Legos that, because that, because you're right. Because if he's buying it, stealing the Legos and returning it, essentially, he's only getting the money back that he paid and stealing the product. So how is he making a coin off of this?

• 1:12:25Speaker 05

  Well, maybe then he's reselling.

• 1:12:28Speaker 04

Yeah, but even if you resell it, you have to resell it in like a janky sort of package. Like, it's not gonna be the glossy-

• 1:12:35Speaker 05

He's probably not reselling it for face value, but he already got his money back. So even if he's selling it for fifty percent what he paid, he's still profiting.

• 1:12:42Speaker 04

But he still went through all of that.

• 1:12:44Laci Mosley?

Ziploc bag full of the Star Wars set?

• 1:12:46Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:12:47Speaker 05

Yeah, you guys, Jerel is just thinking.

• 1:12:51Speaker 04

No, I, the, have you, the Lego set.

• 1:12:53Laci Mosley?

He's thinking outside of the box.

• 1:12:55Speaker 05

He's thinking outside the Lego box.

• 1:12:57Speaker 04

Right, but, but part of like, I think getting a fancy Lego set is getting that box. Like, the box is really sort of like magical.

• 1:13:06Laci Mosley?

Well, apparently, Ashley's right, there is a Lego black market.

• 1:13:10Speaker 05

Yes. Because you guys, they're hard to come by, like, like Legos are really expensive.

• 1:13:17Speaker 04

The collector's ones are really crazy.

• 1:13:19Speaker 05

I would buy it at, you know, half price if I just wasn't getting the box. What the hell do I care? I'm gonna build the Death Star.

• 1:13:27Laci Mosley?

If I had some unemployed roommates, AKA children, I would never buy them Legos. I wouldn't let them see, I would block Lego on all their devices because stepping on a Lego is some of the worst foot pain you can ever have.

• 1:13:38Speaker 05

It's horrible, and like, it makes a damn mess, and it's an expensive hobby for your child to have. Just tell him to go outside.

• 1:13:46Speaker 04

I think he was so crafty, though, to like, act like he was doing something good by returning it in a way, and he like, he was smart to put pasta back in the box.

• 1:13:55Laci Mosley?

Yeah, because pasta makes the right rattling noises to suggest Legos are in there.

• 1:14:00Speaker 05

I think he was like, being smart, I think he was being innovative, and you know what? At the end of the day, I don't really care if Target lost $34,000 or whatever it was. What the hell do I care?

• 1:14:12Laci Mosley?

The only people I care about are the collectors or the, the parents with the unemployed roommates who bought, because you know they put it back on the shelf, and they bought the Lego set. Imagine, imagine it's Christmas, and, and your baby was vigorously unwrapping the Death Star Lego, and is elated, and then opens it up, it's just a bunch of pollice pasta. Okay, you're right.

• 1:14:34Speaker 04

Oh my god, that is so sad.

• 1:14:36Speaker 05

  There were victims in this.

• 1:14:38Speaker 04

Yeah, that is sad. That would fucking happen to me.

• 1:14:42Speaker 05

My heart goes out to the collectors.

• 1:14:43Speaker 04

But then I feel like Lego's a good enough company, they'd probably make it right. But, wait, and then does it make it look like Lego did this? Like, there was a mishap at the factory?

• 1:14:54Speaker 04

Who the hell put pasta in my son's death Lego death star?

• 1:14:58Speaker 05

  It was just Jarrell.

• 1:15:00Speaker 04

It was just Jarrell being silly.

• 1:15:02Speaker 05

  Just Jarrell being Jarrell.

• 1:15:04Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:15:05Laci Mosley?

So Jarrell was arrested after Irvine Police tracked him to his apartment, where they found a bunch of Lego sets and components consistent with the alleged pasta fraud. So they found empty barilla boxes, Lego sets.

• 1:15:19Speaker 04

Okay, why do they act so fast on these sorts of crimes, but they can't like solve a murder?

• 1:15:25Speaker 05

Right, and still don't know what happened to Nancy Guthrie, but we can find out about the pasta fraud.

• 1:15:30Laci Mosley?

  We tracked down the Lego.

• 1:15:32Speaker 04

Yeah, like, and they probably, they probably solved it real fast. But also Jarrell, like, I am kind of feeling sympathy for you, like, supporting, supportive of you a bit. Um, and I think we need to, like, be more aware of, like, the paper trail we're causing, or like, the digital trail. Like, you're walking in and then you're going back and returning them, just keep, I think just, oh, he wants his money back. I think we can figure something out.

• 1:15:56Laci Mosley?

He was kind of being a little diligent. He was going to different states. He was in Tennessee, he was in Texas, he was in Florida. You know, he really, he made the rounds to make sure that it was spread out. He was in New Jersey as well.

• 1:16:09Speaker 05

  Oh.

• 1:16:09Speaker 04

Our home state, our home state. Maybe our home target was hit.

• 1:16:12Laci Mosley?

And so with this arrest, Jarrell does join the Hall of Fame of the growing Lego brick black markets.

• 1:16:19Speaker 04

  I'm here for it.

• 1:16:20Speaker 05

I, I need to learn more about this black market.

• 1:16:24Laci Mosley?

  Right?

• 1:16:24Speaker 04

  It really is.

• 1:16:25Laci Mosley?

Do I need to be on it?

• 1:16:26Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:16:28Laci Mosley?

  How much are we making?

• 1:16:29Speaker 04

Cause you could probably sell some maybe old Lego sets you have, you know? Like, if you're into it.

• 1:16:34Laci Mosley?

I don't have Lego sets, do you?

• 1:16:36Speaker 05

At my house in New Jersey, I believe my family has Hogwarts. We got Hogwarts. I could probably resell it.

• 1:16:44Speaker 04

Yeah, I knew someone who had a replica of the Titanic in his bedroom, and it was a hookup. It was a hookup, actually. I didn't actually really know him. I walked into his room.

• 1:16:52Speaker 05

Did you go through with it?

• 1:16:53Speaker 04

  Unfortunately.

• 1:16:54Laci Mosley?

Did it turn you on or off?

• 1:16:55Speaker 04

Off, off a bit. Cause then you start looking around, he has smaller sort of, like, models as well of different things.

• 1:17:02Speaker 05

  Of the Titanic?

• 1:17:03Speaker 04

And I'm not, no, of just various other sorts of like, it's these collector's sets. But the Titanic one was huge. I have never seen anything like it. It probably was six feet long.

• 1:17:13Laci Mosley?

  Six feet long? Big.

• 1:17:16Speaker 04

It was big. It was huge. Like this must have taken them-

• 1:17:18Laci Mosley?

I was thinking like a little mini boat. It's a-

• 1:17:20Speaker 04

  No.

• 1:17:21Speaker 05

I would be hot and bothered, horned up if I walked into a man's room and he had a six foot Titanic.

• 1:17:27Laci Mosley?

  That makes my pussy wet.

• 1:17:28Speaker 05

Yeah, I would be soaked. Soaked like the Titanic.

• 1:17:31Laci Mosley?

  Woo.

• 1:17:32Speaker 04

No, I think it is cute. It's endearing. It is, it's cute.

• 1:17:36Speaker 05

Yeah, so I'm hyped for it.

• 1:17:37Laci Mosley?

I like a man who has a boring hobby.

• 1:17:40Speaker 05

  Me too.

• 1:17:40Laci Mosley?

Like, if you, if you make a, if I go into your bedroom for sexuals and I see a ship in a bottle, oh, we fuck.

• 1:17:47Speaker 04

  Ooh.

• 1:17:49Laci Mosley?

Yeah. Cause like you've got a little nerdy meticulous hobby. You not on 4chan. You not harassing women.

• 1:17:55Speaker 04

  Yeah, that's true.

• 1:17:56Laci Mosley?

You, you like the simple things in life.

• 1:17:59Speaker 05

Right. Some men are like streaming in the manosphere and then some are building Titanic Legos. And which one do you want to get railed by?

• 1:18:06Laci Mosley?

Oh, no, I think this episode is proving that we all need to reinstate our Facebook pages because that is where the mess is happening.

• 1:18:13Speaker 05

  That's where the drama's happening.

• 1:18:14Laci Mosley?

And I want to be involved.

• 1:18:16Speaker 05

  Me too.

• 1:18:16Speaker 04

Yes. And I'm starting a towing company.

• 1:18:19Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 1:18:19Speaker 04

  So.

• 1:18:20Speaker 05

And a streamer and a skincare brand.

• 1:18:23Laci Mosley?

And a streamer and a skincare brand.

• 1:18:25Speaker 05

Towing. Oh, my God, you're in my head. I was gonna say, stay towing. Okay, DIY tow. We need to get more people in the tow field. It's too gated. Get yourself a hook and start towing.

• 1:19:58Speaker 04

Let's make towing gay. Make towing gay again, and let's get towing. Come on, fuck it.

• 1:20:10Laci Mosley?
