About this episode
Free will, choice, decisions, doership, control - however we call it, the real question behind all these things is, does free will exist at all? And the answer is that the "I" that I think I am, the "I" that thinks it has free will, the "I" that thinks it should be in control, that "I" doesn't exist. I know it sounds a bit crazy, because the lived experience of being is of a separate individual, but that’s the fundamental confusion of the mind. So in this episode, I’m going to explore this idea of free will and the quest for control which is completely unfulfillable, and how we can approach it with more sanity and understanding. What is Covered:-Why the idea of free will is the epicenter of the confusion of the mind -Where our behaviour really comes from-How the belief structure that gives us an idea of what we are is formed -How to settle the mind into the space of inquiry and observation instead of control-Where to find the space of actual change and genuine transformation Resources: -Download our exclusive recording Free Subliminal: Supporting the Enquiring Mind bit.ly/podcastsubliminal -Learn more about me and my work at https://claredimond.simplero.com/ -Find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/claredimondreal -Let’s connect on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/clare-dimond-b533007/ -Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/clare_v_dimond/
