Position of Neutrality: Walking in Purpose in Steps 10 & 11 AA Transform Your Life Purpose, Forgiveness, and Helping Others
- <1m
About this episode
Join Joe McDonald as he encourages us to walk in our identity and purpose through Steps 10 and 11 of Alcoholics Anonymous. Joe emphasizes that whatever we’ve been through, it serves a purpose—and we must now live with intention, seeking opportunities to help others with our stories. He reminds us that after making our daily review, we ask for God’s forgiveness and inquire about what corrective measures should be taken. Joe also touches on how those who come to AA as atheists or agnostics will, through the steps, have their own conversion experience, as they come to know the power of a loving creator. In Alcoholics Anonymous, Step 10 calls for continual self-review and accountability, while Step 11 deepens our connection with our Higher Power. Joe reflects on how our past hurts and mistakes can be repurposed into a life of amends, lifting others up through service and transformation.
