Position of Neutrality: Using Spiritual Tools in Steps 10 & 11 AA Unlocking Spiritual Growth Tools for Change and Forgiveness!
- <1m
About this episode
Join Joe McDonald as he discusses the importance of using spiritual tools in Steps 10 and 11 of Alcoholics Anonymous. Joe reflects on how early in the program, Ebby shared a set of spiritual tools with Bill, emphasizing that we must pick them up willingly and consciously. Joe explains that to move into a conscious relationship with a Higher Power, we must do so intentionally—it can’t happen by accident or trickery. He also reminds us that after making our daily review, we ask for God’s forgiveness and inquire about the corrective measures we should take to stay spiritually aligned. In Alcoholics Anonymous, Step 10 encourages self-inventory, while Step 11 focuses on deepening our connection with our Higher Power. Joe emphasizes that willingness and effort are the only requirements for spiritual growth and that using spiritual tools helps guide us through the challenges of recovery.
