Position of Neutrality: The Progression of Recovery and Awakening in Step 12 AA The POWER of Recovery Friendship and Fellowship Transform Lives

Join Joe McDonald as he discusses the progressive nature of recovery and spiritual awakening in Step 12 of Alcoholics Anonymous. Joe explains that, just as addiction is progressive, so is recovery. He reflects on the powerful experience of watching people recover, seeing them help others, and witnessing the growth of a fellowship around you. Joe highlights the importance of not missing out on this experience, encouraging participants to pay close attention to the intentional language used in the Big Book of AA. In Alcoholics Anonymous, Step 12 encourages us to carry the message to others and practice these principles in all areas of our lives. Joe emphasizes that recovery is not a one-time event but an ongoing, progressive journey filled with connection and growth.
