Position of Neutrality: Finding the Power to Walk Through in Step 12 AA Overcoming Addiction My Journey to Recovery and Hope

Join Joe McDonald as he talks about the challenges of staying in recovery when the memory of suffering isn’t enough to stop us from launching out again, as outlined in Alcoholics Anonymous. Joe explains that the two things that keep us trapped are the fading memory of suffering and the inability to stay in the present moment. He emphasizes the importance of discovering who we are, finding the power that has sent us, and sharing the manner of living that has helped so much in recovery. Joe also highlights the need to outline the program of action, explaining how we made a self-appraisal and why this is crucial for helping others. In Alcoholics Anonymous, Step 12 is about carrying the message and helping others discover the power that can walk them through recovery. Joe encourages us to offer our experience and to walk in the same power that has carried us through our journey. To support and learn from journeys like Joe McDonald, please like, comment, and share.
