Position of Neutrality: Finding and Maintaining Spiritual Power in Steps 10 & 11 AA Unlocking Your Inner Power The Journey Within
- <1m
About this episode
Join Joe McDonald as he discusses the importance of spiritual power in Steps 10 and 11 of Alcoholics Anonymous. Joe explains that the transformation we experience in recovery is not about religious dogma or theories—it’s about finding the power within us. He emphasizes that as long as we stay in fit spiritual condition, this power continues to guide us. Joe reminds us that we must look inside ourselves and search fearlessly to find and maintain a power greater than ourselves, which requires ongoing action. Step 11 encourages prayer and meditation as a means of deepening this connection. In Alcoholics Anonymous, Step 10 teaches us to continually take personal inventory, and Step 11 calls for strengthening our conscious contact with a Higher Power. Joe highlights that spiritual growth is not a one-time event, but a continuous journey that requires dedication, action, and self-exploration.
