Position of Neutrality: Embracing the Promises of Step 12 AA Daily Kindness The Key to Recovery Success!

Join Joe McDonald as he delves into the promises of Step 12 of Alcoholics Anonymous, where helping others becomes the foundation stone of recovery. Joe explains that a simple kind act every now and then is not enough—being of service may require great sacrifices, including the loss of sleep, interruptions to your life, and sharing your resources with others. It may mean countless trips to jails, hospitals, and even asylums, but this is the work we do in recovery. Joe asks us to reflect on how many of us have been to these places and how strangers have shown up to support us there. In Alcoholics Anonymous, Step 12 is about carrying the message to others and practicing these principles in all our affairs. Joe encourages us to live out these promises, embracing the power of service and the transformation it brings to ourselves and others.
