Usually the conversation around here is about football. Today, the topic is gas for one of the sponsors. Specifically, Mobil Supreme Plus Premium Gasoline. Let's start with the fact that Mobil Supreme Plus Premium is amazing. It keeps engines three times cleaner, so engines perform better for better gas mileage. Just ask motorsports legend Shirley Chacha Muldowney. She raced top fuel dragsters in the 70s. So she knows a thing or two about gasoline. She also knows a thing or two about the 70s, so if there are any questions about leisure suits, vinyl, or fondue, fire away. One might wonder why they call her Chacha. Like, is it a family name, or a marketing ploy? Or maybe she thought it sounded cool? It's very curious. Getting back to fuel, Shirley and the team highly recommend Mobil Supreme Plus Premium Gas,

because it keeps engines three times cleaner for better performance and gas mileage. By the way, Chacha Muldowney, she drove a pink car. Mobil: Legendary. Three times cleaner compared to Mobil regular gas and port fuel-injected engines. Actual results may vary. Visit mobilfuels.com for details.

• 1:50Speaker 03

What I do, suck the head?

• 1:52Travis Kelce?

  There you go.

• 1:54Travis Kelce?

Go 45, 2000 stacks. Baby, that's all we need. We can go to the bars after dark, smoke that crawfish head.

  What are we here for?

• 2:55Travis Kelce?

Well, we're here for a good old rematch. The Chiefs and Eagles, baby.

• 3:01Speaker 03

The fuck? Why wasn't I invited?

• 3:03Travis Kelce?

I think that's why you're here. You got the invite.

• 3:05Speaker 03

  All right.

• 3:06Travis Kelce?

Should have been. You're playing in the game.

• 3:09Speaker 03

Uh, my knees don't work anymore. That's how it works.

• 3:11Travis Kelce?

  Damn it.

• 3:12Speaker 03

Now I just, I'm gonna have to just drink hurricanes and hand grenades to forget that I'm not playing in the game. So I can't, won't have to think about it all week.

• 3:21Travis Kelce?

Watch out. That'll get you kicked off the team. Um, why don't you tell the people what we got coming up, dude?

• 3:26Speaker 03

Incredible episode for you guys. We're gonna eat the Travis's thoughts on the Super Bowl. We're also gonna talk about a little bit of New Orleans food and drinks. We got two incredible guests in Peyton and Elijah Manning. It's gonna be a fun one. Can't wait to get to you guys. First, as always, new news.

• 3:47Travis Kelce?

New news coming in hot. That's right. New Heights Pod, one gold again.

• 3:54Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:55Travis Kelce?

What we do, ladies and gentlemen, we're just, we're excellent. And when I say we, our production.

• 3:59Speaker 03

Yeah, they edit this very well.

• 4:01Travis Kelce?

And, um, I don't know how they get good shit out of us, but, uh, you guys love it and we appreciate you guys. Um, New Heights took the gold in the best sports talk category in 2025 on the sports podcast awards.

• 4:14Speaker 03

  Wow.

• 4:15Travis Kelce?

Yeah. Gold medal, baby. Are we even sports talk?

• 4:18Speaker 03

  Huh?

• 4:19Travis Kelce?

  Are we even sports talk?

• 4:21Speaker 03

I mean, we, we talk and we talk about sports sometimes. So, yeah.

• 4:25Travis Kelce?

  That counts, right?

• 4:26Speaker 03

I think that's what sports talk is.

• 4:28Travis Kelce?

Nice. People listen to us because of sports though, right?

• 4:31Speaker 03

  Like half of them.

• 4:33Travis Kelce?

  Nice. Well, thank you, guys.

• 4:36Speaker 03

Enough to get a gold medal.

• 4:37Travis Kelce?

Over at the Sports Podcast Awards, we accept your gold. We don't, we could, do people deny gold medals?

• 4:43Speaker 03

  I might.

• 4:44Travis Kelce?

I know you would. That's why I'm, what was, but this one you accept.

• 4:47Speaker 03

But that's why I'm asking what this thing looks like and who, who's giving it to us. Sports Podcast Awards.

• 4:51Travis Kelce?

  This guy's insane.

• 4:52Speaker 03

Best sports talk podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis.

• 4:55Travis Kelce?

I mean, it seems like a legit award. They have a cool logo. Sometimes that's half of the battle right there.

• 4:59Speaker 03

I feel like all this stuff is just like, they're just trying to get us to tweet it so that they can be affirmed as an established.

• 5:06Travis Kelce?

  Well, it worked.

• 5:10Travis Kelce?

Nice. Thank you, guys, over at Sports Podcast Awards. Um, Jason, why don't you tell everybody else what else we got?

• 5:16Speaker 03

Travis has won the 2024 Walter Payton Man of the Year Charity Challenge.

• 5:21Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah.

• 5:22Speaker 03

For those of you that don't know, the winner of the Walter Payton Man of the Year Charity Challenge is decided on a fan vote on X slash Twitter. Congratulations, Trav.

• 5:32Travis Kelce?

Yeah, thank you. Thank you very much.

• 5:33Speaker 03

This is the second time winning this award.

• 5:35Travis Kelce?

  Two-time winner. Two-time winner.

• 5:37Speaker 03

  First time, first two-time winner.

• 5:38Travis Kelce?

Am I the first two? Oh, and the charity challenge. Nice.

• 5:40Speaker 03

So in the charity challenge, you are now the first back-to-back winner in NFL history. The Chiefs are going to try and be the first back-to-back-to-back Super Bowl winners.

• 5:50Travis Kelce?

Okay, I see where you're going.

• 5:51Speaker 03

Which one is more important, back-to-back charity award winner or back-to-back-to-back Super Bowl winner?

• 5:56Travis Kelce?

I think the charity will thrive more if I win the Super Bowl.

• 6:02Speaker 03

So you're saying the Super Bowl?

• 6:03Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 6:03Speaker 03

So you're saying the Super Bowl matters more than the kids and your foundation?

• 6:06Travis Kelce?

God damn it, that's a tough, I didn't say that.

• 6:09Speaker 03

See, I trapped him. I did.

• 6:12Travis Kelce?

Bear trapped me. That's a son of a buck. No, and that money will be directly injected into the city of Kansas City. So thank you, guys, for all voting online. Um, I'll make sure that, uh, everybody over 87 and running does some good work with the, uh.

• 6:26Speaker 03

Shout out to everyone who voted. Shout out to everyone who voted. In all seriousness, Travis and the 87 and Running Foundation does a lot of fantastic work.

• 6:33Travis Kelce?

  It does.

• 6:33Speaker 03

In the city of Kansas City.

• 6:34Travis Kelce?

Even in Cleveland, back in our hometown.

• 6:36Speaker 03

Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. So shout out, Trav. Way to go.

• 6:40Travis Kelce?

Let's do it. Let's do it.

• 6:41Speaker 03

  Nice.

• 6:41Travis Kelce?

Jason on the call at the Pro Bowl.

• 6:43Speaker 03

Hey, if you want to call it that.

• 6:45Travis Kelce?

Last bit of new news. We got Jason in the booth over there in Orlando for the Pro Bowl, watching the, uh, flag football game, huh?

• 6:51Speaker 03

  That's right. Yep.

• 6:52Travis Kelce?

How was it, man? How was it on the, uh, the other side of the Pro Bowl?

• 6:55Speaker 03

The Pro Bowl is just a blast. It's fun to be down there. You get to see a bunch of the best players in the world, kinda being on the same field together, having fun, celebrating.

• 7:06Travis Kelce?

Watching the Avengers like team up.

• 7:09Speaker 03

  Yeah, for sure.

• 7:10Travis Kelce?

It's like superheroes of the NFL.

• 7:12Speaker 03

Yeah, and I think that what they're doing now is better than what they did. I mean, the football game that they were kind of trying to play was pretty, it's pretty boring to watch.

• 7:20Travis Kelce?

It was a tough thing to even be a part of, to be honest. It was tough to be a part of.

• 7:24Speaker 03

Here's the problem. Football is only good if people are trying to kill each other. I've figured that out.

• 7:30Travis Kelce?

  You're not lying.

• 7:31Speaker 03

It's not a fun sport if you're not trying to kill each other. That's kind of the, the intensity and the aggression is what makes it inherently awesome. So when you're not trying to do it, it's like, what the fuck are these guys doing playing football for?

• 7:43Travis Kelce?

And that's what it kind of felt like when you were playing.

• 7:46Speaker 03

So I'm not, we're just kind of out here slapping hands?

• 7:50Travis Kelce?

  What are we?

• 7:50Speaker 03

And then there'd be one guy trying to kill.

• 7:52Travis Kelce?

There'd be always be one guy.

• 7:53Speaker 03

And everybody like, why is that guy trying to play football? And you're like, fucking assholes playing football. The fuck's wrong with this asshole? We're just trying to have fun.

• 8:00Travis Kelce?

We're all unioned up with this fucking guy.

• 8:02Speaker 03

Yes, trying to win a Toyota. You can buy a Toyota, you got millions of dollars.

• 8:06Travis Kelce?

I want the MVP to get the free car. It's like, yeah, well, I won the MVP. You still have to pay for the car.

• 8:15Speaker 03

So anyways, what they're doing now, I feel like.

• 8:17Travis Kelce?

The taxes on a Genesis aren't as low as you think they are.

• 8:22Speaker 03

  So.

• 8:23Travis Kelce?

  Shout out to Genesis.

• 8:25Speaker 03

  Yeah, shout out.

• 8:27Travis Kelce?

Shout out to the Red Rocket, man. Andy Dalton throwing me a deep cross.

• 8:31Speaker 03

  Shout out to the 60%.

• 8:32Travis Kelce?

  Touchdown.

• 8:33Speaker 03

Alright, so we got, what they're doing now with flag football, people will try for flag. That's a more like.

• 8:40Travis Kelce?

They'll have fun with it. They'll have fun with it. Yeah, I'm not here to kill anybody.

• 8:44Speaker 03

And then you got the skill event. So now it's settled into something that is more. You know, appropriate to kinda be in and you still get to see some highly skilled people do flips into foam pits.

• 8:55Travis Kelce?

I feel like they should do dodgeball with footballs.

• 8:58Speaker 03

Hmm, dodgeball with footballs. It's not a bad idea with Nerf balls.

• 9:03Travis Kelce?

Yeah, no, like a full on.

• 9:06Speaker 03

Like the Duke, you go with the Duke, that would hurt, hit you in the face.

• 9:11Travis Kelce?

Do you, how bad do you want to win?

• 9:12Speaker 03

Yeah, it's a lot of guys that can't throw a football surprisingly. It would expose, it would expose some guys.

• 9:17Travis Kelce?

  I can't throw anymore.

• 9:18Speaker 03

There's some players in the NFL that I've seen try and throw a football.

• 9:21Travis Kelce?

All the way back there and just, just come down.

• 9:25Speaker 03

No, you can do it. You can still get one in.

• 9:27Travis Kelce?

  That elbow is tight.

• 9:28Speaker 03

Then it's gonna get tight, yeah.

• 9:29Travis Kelce?

  It's bad.

• 9:30Speaker 03

But no, the Pro Bowl was awesome. Being up in the booth was great. I got a good bit of advice from Dan Orlovsky. Shout out to Dan. I was going to.

• 9:37Travis Kelce?

  Nice, Danny O.

• 9:38Speaker 03

I went to Orlando, I went to Disney the following day with the fam.

• 9:41Travis Kelce?

  Nice.

• 9:42Speaker 03

And Dan gave me the shout out, said, hey, go to the Dawa Bar, Animal Kingdom, two jungle juice.

• 9:48Travis Kelce?

  Ooh.

• 9:49Speaker 03

It was perfect. It tasted great. Perfect level for walking around with a bunch of kids. It's ideal. It really made the safari 10 times better.

• 10:02Travis Kelce?

Did you, uh, did you know?

• 10:03Speaker 03

  That rhino's a moving, I don't give a fuck, this is great.

• 10:09Travis Kelce?

I love it. Shout out to Dan for the secret, uh, to the secret to Animal Kingdom. Was it cold around the park? The last time that I went down to Orlando for the Pro Bowl, it was absolutely freezing.

• 10:19Speaker 03

Yeah, it was like that last year too, it was cold, but this year it was like 80.

• 10:23Travis Kelce?

  Nice.

• 10:23Speaker 03

It was perfect. Uh, sun was hidden behind clouds, which you want at 80, you don't want sun out with 80, that's, they can get a little, little dicey.

• 10:31Travis Kelce?

  Down there.

• 10:32Speaker 03

But no, it was good. It was good temperature. Found out Scott Van Pelt doesn't like roller coasters.

• 10:36Travis Kelce?

  What? SVP.

• 10:38Speaker 03

I found a lot of times with taller people. Now, you're pretty tall, you like roller coasters.

• 10:42Travis Kelce?

I'm in, I was not in when we were kids though, took me to become a man.

• 10:46Speaker 03

I feel like there's something to do with like height.

• 10:47Travis Kelce?

  Millennium.

• 10:48Speaker 03

  Dude, the Millennium Force cream.

• 10:49Travis Kelce?

The Millennium, I used to have nightmares about the Millennium.

• 10:52Speaker 03

  I think that's, maybe that's why.

• 10:53Travis Kelce?

And I always, you always loved going on it.

• 10:56Speaker 03

It's the best, it's the best ride, still to this day I've ever been on. Millennium Force, Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio, best roller coaster there is on the planet. I don't care what anybody says.

• 11:05Travis Kelce?

I mean. It's hard to argue that one.

• 11:07Speaker 03

Yeah, well, you can't because I just said I don't.

• 11:08Travis Kelce?

When I, I finally went on it. It, I went on all the roller coasters and then finally was like, all right, I'm gonna do Millennium Force. This is like when I'm like in high school or maybe even when I was in college. But I, um, when you get to the top of that thing, because it's right on the lake, it's on Lake Erie and San Dusky, Ohio.

• 11:27Speaker 03

  It's beautiful, picturesque.

• 11:28Travis Kelce?

By the time I got on there, the sun was going down and it, the, everything was kind of shining off of the water and I felt like the whole thing was just gonna fall into the water when I got up there. I about blacked out.

• 11:40Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 11:40Travis Kelce?

  It was terrifying.

• 11:41Speaker 03

  It's a bad feeling.

• 11:42Travis Kelce?

And then I overcame my fear.

• 11:44Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 11:44Travis Kelce?

  And I didn't blackout.

• 11:46Speaker 03

That's why I keep trying to get my kids to just go and do stuff because I feel like that's how I overcame. You just go do it. And they're like, oh, that wasn't that bad.

• 11:52Travis Kelce?

Dude, that's how hockey was for me.

• 11:53Speaker 03

My kids will not do it. They won't do it.

• 11:55Travis Kelce?

  I didn't ice skate.

• 11:56Speaker 03

I mean, they can't go on anything that extreme right now.

• 11:57Travis Kelce?

Dad literally just threw me out there and then pushed a cane at me. He's like pushed like a walker at me, like an old person's walker.

• 12:04Speaker 03

  That always worked for us.

• 12:05Travis Kelce?

Like he used it to like get up and then he was like, do a lap.

• 12:09Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 12:09Travis Kelce?

I was like, all right. And then by the time.

• 12:12Speaker 03

And then by the time you're done with the lap, you're feeling great. Yeah.

• 12:14Travis Kelce?

I tossed that cane over there. I was flying around. Couldn't stop though. Couldn't stop.

• 12:19Speaker 03

It doesn't work for my kids though. They just act like I'm being like a bad dad by forcing them to do stuff they don't want to do. That's part of being a dad.

• 12:28Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 12:28Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 12:29Travis Kelce?

  I respect it.

• 12:30Speaker 03

It's good. Well, Kylie doesn't. She's like, I have to deal with this. I thought we'd be fine. Trust me.

• 12:38Travis Kelce?

  Trust Kylie.

• 12:39Speaker 03

  Kelsey did this to me.

• 12:40Travis Kelce?

  We.

• 12:41Speaker 03

  Be good.

• 12:42Travis Kelce?

  From experience.

• 12:43Speaker 03

I'm just gonna spin this little teapot around.

• 12:45Travis Kelce?

  Don't trust me.

• 12:46Speaker 03

Yeah, don't trust me either. It didn't work.

• 12:49Travis Kelce?

  Look at this guy.

• 12:50Speaker 03

  They don't.

• 12:51Travis Kelce?

You're gonna, you're not gonna trust this guy? Look at him.

• 12:59Travis Kelce?

  I'm trusting this guy off.

• 13:00Speaker 03

He doesn't trust me with a mask. Alrighty, we're done talking about the Pro Bowl. We do want to talk about what everybody wants to talk about in New Orleans, which is a little bit of food and a little bit of drinks. That's right. As with a lot of the shows where we are remote, we like to do some things that are culturally specific. And nothing says New Orleans like alcoholic beverages and weird foods. So we're gonna eat some right now. First up, we got fried alligator and a hurricane.

• 13:28Travis Kelce?

  We got some gator nuggets?

• 13:29Speaker 03

  We do.

• 13:30Travis Kelce?

Travis? Woo, I'll get in on some gator nuggets.

• 13:32Speaker 03

  You'll eat alligator?

• 13:33Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 13:34Speaker 03

  Travis, you won't eat alligator?

• 13:36Travis Kelce?

  I will eat alligator.

• 13:37Speaker 03

  You won't eat rabbit?

• 13:39Travis Kelce?

  Nope.

• 13:40Speaker 03

  You won't eat?

• 13:41Travis Kelce?

  Too gamy.

• 13:42Speaker 03

  Duck?

• 13:43Travis Kelce?

  Gamy.

• 13:43Speaker 03

How do you know? You just have your?

• 13:44Travis Kelce?

  I had it.

• 13:45Speaker 03

So you'll try meats? You just don't like white sauces?

• 13:48Travis Kelce?

I'm not trying that white sauce. I know that's tartar sauce. Yeah.

• 13:51Speaker 03

That's tartar sauce? How do you know that's tartar sauce?

• 13:53Travis Kelce?

I can see it from here. It's pickle.

• 13:54Speaker 03

It's got pickles in it. Yeah, it's tartar sauce.

• 13:58Speaker 03

  Alright.

• 13:58Travis Kelce?

But I'll try the, the, the half mayo. I'll try the half.

• 14:02Speaker 03

It's alright, let's go. I'll try, I'll, I'll try the tartar. I'm, I'm not afraid to tartar up.

• 14:07Travis Kelce?

These are pretty good. They're a little gamy. Little gamy, but.

• 14:10Speaker 03

They always taste so similar like chicken.

• 14:13Travis Kelce?

  It's the fried.

• 14:15Travis Kelce?

  That.

• 14:15Speaker 03

They did have a smoked alligator.

• 14:16Travis Kelce?

That yum yum sauce isn't as yum yum as I thought it was gonna be.

• 14:19Speaker 03

I'll try the tartar. It's real yum yum.

• 14:21Travis Kelce?

  Now you got. You got.

• 14:25Speaker 03

  The, uh.

• 14:25Travis Kelce?

Give me some of that, that gator.

• 14:28Speaker 03

  This is damn good.

• 14:30Travis Kelce?

  Gator don't play that shit.

• 14:31Speaker 03

I had some smoked alligator at a Eagles tailgate because it's very traditional cuisine of Philadelphia as well. And, uh, it tastes a lot like lobster.

• 14:41Travis Kelce?

They, they catch those fresh every day?

• 14:43Speaker 03

  Right out of Delaware.

• 14:46Travis Kelce?

Nice. You're gonna clean that whole plate, aren't you?

• 14:48Speaker 03

No. I'm done after this because we got more food to review, but I'm gonna get to this hurricane.

• 14:53Travis Kelce?

You got, you got the hurricane. It can't be. You can't be out here drinking like that. I know what those things do.

• 15:00Speaker 03

  Who made this?

• 15:02Speaker 05

  Technically Haley made it.

• 15:03Speaker 03

  Haley?

• 15:05Speaker 03

Can we get Haley in here?

• 15:06Travis Kelce?

What's the, what's the, where'd you get the recipe from?

• 15:08Speaker 05

  I've had these.

• 15:10Travis Kelce?

Pat O'Brien's mix. Larry O'Brien's brother.

• 15:13Speaker 03

I thought that was Pat O'Reilly.

• 15:16Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 15:18Travis Kelce?

  That too.

• 15:21Travis Kelce?

Chuck Chuck Chuck. Oh, man. That would have been awesome if you would have just.

• 15:26Speaker 03

I forgot to put the mix in.

• 15:31Travis Kelce?

  What is that?

• 15:32Speaker 03

  Fucking rum.

• 15:33Travis Kelce?

  It's just straight rum?

• 15:35Speaker 03

I think red with some, some red food coloring in it.

• 15:37Travis Kelce?

There's some grenadine in that thing? Get an accelerator. Get a cherry ice pop. That always goes well with them.

• 15:43Speaker 03

Man, that's really good. I love hurricanes. I'm not gonna lie. It feels like the most significant part of that is cherry.

• 15:50Travis Kelce?

There's a cherry, there's cherry in that thing?

• 15:52Speaker 03

I have no idea. Yeah, cherry.

• 15:54Travis Kelce?

It's pretty good. It's pretty good. What else is in there, big guy?

• 15:58Speaker 03

Cherry, there's some orange in there.

• 16:00Travis Kelce?

  Yes, you can see it.

• 16:03Travis Kelce?

  Give me some.

• 16:03Speaker 03

Outside of that, I don't know. I don't know what else. Orange, or I'm getting a strong cherry and orange flavor.

• 16:08Travis Kelce?

  Cherry orange rum.

• 16:09Speaker 03

In an overwhelming amount of Captain Morgan.

• 16:13Travis Kelce?

  Captain Morgan is that?

• 16:15Speaker 03

It's not Captain Morgan. It's not spiced. It's unspiced rum.

• 16:19Travis Kelce?

The old Brent Selig. My guy Brent Selig's out there fucking helping the Eagles defense. I saw you Brent. Bearcat for life, my ass. I saw that shit.

• 16:27Speaker 03

Zach Ertz was texting me about it.

• 16:29Travis Kelce?

That guy's fucking, he's telling them my moves. He's showing off.

• 16:33Speaker 03

Do you think he knows your moves?

• 16:34Travis Kelce?

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, he was pretty spot on. I watched the video.

• 16:38Speaker 03

  That's exactly how I run.

• 16:39Travis Kelce?

  I know exactly what you're.

• 16:40Speaker 03

  Know what you're telling them.

• 16:41Travis Kelce?

Gonna have a few changeups and curveballs and sliders and knuckle curves. I got all types of pitches.

• 16:48Speaker 03

So, fried alligator, what are we thinking? How are we rating this?

• 16:53Travis Kelce?

  One out of ten?

• 16:55Speaker 03

Honestly, I'm giving that a six.

• 16:56Travis Kelce?

  Nice.

• 16:57Speaker 03

Alright. And I don't know what that means, but we both are on the same page. Travis, you have not had this hurricane, but you have had hurricanes.

• 17:04Travis Kelce?

  I have had hurricanes.

• 17:05Speaker 03

In the grand scheme of, uh, drink, drinks that you would walk up and down a street with, where does a hurricane rank?

• 17:12Travis Kelce?

Yeah, I like, I'm, I'm a like, Long Island kinda guy.

• 17:18Speaker 03

You're gonna walk up and down a street with a Long Island?

• 17:20Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 17:20Speaker 03

No, you, you, you drink a Long Island at like a clubhouse bar, like at a, like, that's not, you don't walk up and down a street with a Long Island like a sailor.

• 17:28Travis Kelce?

It's just like, it's like a, just like jungle juice. It's just like a bunch of shit that you.

• 17:32Speaker 03

No, it's way different. Long Island's like a classy jungle juice.

• 17:36Travis Kelce?

  It's a classy jungle juice?

• 17:37Speaker 03

Yes. Long Island is what you get at like a, you get at a bar, you can't walk around with a Long Island. It's not a walk around, walk around.

• 17:44Travis Kelce?

I thought it was a walk around and sip kind of drink.

• 17:46Speaker 03

  I don't think so.

• 17:47Travis Kelce?

All right, well then, what do we, what's a, I mean, all I know are just bourbon, bourbon street drinks.

• 17:53Speaker 03

Bourbon street drinks, I mean, they are.

• 17:55Travis Kelce?

  I learned my lesson.

• 17:56Speaker 03

  No synonymous with walking around.

• 17:58Travis Kelce?

I don't do walk around drinks anymore, Jason.

• 18:01Speaker 03

Remember that time I got an open container in college? Did I ever tell that story on here?

• 18:04Travis Kelce?

  No, please.

• 18:06Speaker 03

  I was, I just turned 21.

• 18:11Speaker 03

I just turned 21 and I went to a house party in Cincinnati and the cops come to like, tell us to shut the fuck up. And the cop walks through the door and he, and everybody starts running because there's a bunch of underage, like, I was like barely over 21, everybody else is like under 21, so they start skedaddling and I'm like, I'm good. I'm good, baby. I'm drinking, drinking a beer in front of the cop. He's like, do you live here? And I said, I'm 21. He said, I did not ask that.

• 18:46Speaker 03

I said, all right. He's like, do you live here? I said, no. He said, I suggest you get the fuck out of here. And I'm like, all right, yes, sir. We start walking to another house. We're like four blocks away and like, I'm, I am not exaggerating. We are like maybe three houses before I'm in that front door. I reach into the case, take a can of beer out, crack it.

• 19:07Speaker 03

Guy pulls up, rolls his window down, same cop. Well, well, well, if it isn't Mr. 21.

• 19:20Speaker 03

Oh, he gave me a ticket so fast. He's like, I'm not, you know, if you know this, but you're not allowed to have an open container. And I was like, and he left one of his deputies behind to like, give me the ticket.

• 19:29Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah.

• 19:29Speaker 03

And the deputy's like, yeah, you can drink the whole thing. I don't care. He's making me do this. I was like, yeah, I deserve it.

• 19:36Travis Kelce?

That's what happens for sure. That's hilarious.

• 19:39Speaker 03

All right. That's enough food and drink for right now. Let's toss it to Peyton and Eli. I'm sure they'll be able to give us their ideas of where Hurricane and Fried Alligator rank and their.

• 19:51Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah, they're definitely pros.

• 19:52Speaker 03

  Expertise with New Orleans.

• 19:53Travis Kelce?

  Ole Miss.

• 19:55Speaker 03

  Ole Miss.

• 19:56Travis Kelce?

  Nollins.

• 19:57Speaker 03

  Where is Ole Miss?

• 19:58Travis Kelce?

  I think it's in Mississippi.

• 20:00Speaker 03

Well, I know it's in Mississippi. I didn't, thank you.

• 20:04Travis Kelce?

  It's in Oxford, Mississippi, Jason.

  I love a water park.

• 21:35Travis Kelce?

• 21:43Speaker 03

They've also got Playmaker Sports Bar and Arcade, so that means games on every screen. I love a good arcade sports place combination.

On offense, it's important to prevent problems from the moment the ball is snapped.

• 22:12Travis Kelce?

That's true. Otherwise you're just out there running cardio. Can't get open for a big play.

• 22:18Speaker 03

But it's not just football. There's a lot of things you need to prevent before they start.

• 22:22Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, like in your mouth.

• 22:24Speaker 03

  My mouth specifically?

• 22:26Travis Kelce?

I mean, probably yours too, but I'm talking everybody's mouth. There's bacteria in there that can lead to oral health problems like cavities, gingivitis.

• 22:37Speaker 03

Right. Yeah. All the nasty stuff. But the good news is you can prevent these problems before they start with Colgate Total Active Prevention. It's like having a good offensive line for your mouth.

• 22:48Travis Kelce?

Ooh, exactly. With twice daily brushing, Colgate Total prevents oral health problems like cavities and gingivitis.

• 22:56Speaker 03

Now that's the squad you want fighting for your mouth.

All right. I think it's time to bring on our guest. This has been long, long waiting and we're, we're happy as hell to get you. Jason, why don't you do the honors and give them the intro?

• 23:30Speaker 03

You got a trap. From Newman High School, New Orleans, Louisiana. A combined 18 Pro Bowls, four Super Bowls, three Super Bowl MVPs, two Walter Payton Man of the Years. And one of them is still undefeated in the Pro Bowl. Please welcome Peyton and Eli Manning.

• 23:53Speaker 03

  There we go.

• 23:54Travis Kelce?

  I like that, Jason.

• 23:56Speaker 06

You with us wherever we go.

• 23:57Speaker 03

Dude, I will, I will gladly be your, your guys permanent hype man.

• 24:01Travis Kelce?

I think down here, he actually comes with a band. I think it's like a whole thing.

• 24:05Speaker 03

I want to get one. Do you guys know a good band that can be?

• 24:08Travis Kelce?

Yes, Newman High School got a good marching band or what?

• 24:10Speaker 06

  Yeah, yeah.

• 24:11Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, solid, really solid.

• 24:13Speaker 03

  Solid, solid.

• 24:15Travis Kelce?

I could, I could think of a few others that might be a little better. We can stop at Newman. Let's start off with the, uh, the Pro Bowl, man. You guys went head to head down at the Pro Bowl.

• 24:25Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 24:25Travis Kelce?

  And, um, yeah, Eli.

• 24:27Speaker 03

  Got the three P.

• 24:28Travis Kelce?

Yeah, you got the three P dog.

• 24:30Speaker 06

  I think, I think.

• 24:31Travis Kelce?

How's it feel? How's it feel just?

• 24:33Speaker 06

Peyton's officially on the hot seat, I think, as coach.

• 24:38Speaker 06

Saw some breaking news headlines kinda.

• 24:41Speaker 03

  Adam Shepard.

• 24:41Speaker 06

On social media. So, I mean, if he, if he does get fired, I will, I'll probably hire him as my special teams coach.

• 24:52Speaker 06

Quarterback coach or, or, you know, water boy or something, you know, just.

• 24:56Travis Kelce?

I mean, I mean, the problem is, you know, just to be honest, is that there's a lot of Pro Bowlers every year that their starters, they just happen to be on the Chiefs, but they're not eligible to play in the Pro Bowl because they're in the Super Bowl. So. And I'd be a game changer in that game for you, Peyton. You know I would. Travis, uh, I, I, I kind of blame you and Patrick. Uh, how's that?

• 25:19Speaker 03

  The Chiefs fault.

• 25:21Speaker 06

  Chief fault, yeah.

• 25:22Speaker 03

Eli, I do gotta ask you, I, was that your idea with Turpin? Whose idea was that on defense, just blitz Turpin? Every single snap. I thought that was genius.

• 25:31Speaker 06

Yeah, you know, these, there's, the special teamers, you know, they kind of have rules around, we, we want the offensive guys playing offense, defensive guys playing defense. The special teamers, you know, that, we don't have any special teams. We, there's no, there's no kickoff returns or punts. So there's kind of, they can freelance. You can use them however. So I said, hey, I, I told Larry Foot, I said, uh, you know, Turpin's your, your special, your special blitz guy. He, he can, he's fast. He can run, had a couple sacks. He's not to get tired. Like, you know, you know, the first series, we were rushing some outside linebackers. They're, they were kind of rushing in there, uh, cause they don't want to drop. These guys are professional rushers. They're not drop guys,

• 26:14Speaker 06

covers guys, but then Burrow's running right by him. So Turpin got the, uh, got the, they got the call pretty quickly.

• 26:20Speaker 03

I loved it. I loved it. Payne, we also had your son Marshall out there. Maybe throwing better than all the quarterbacks there. I mean, this was a, I think we got a clip here.

• 26:30Travis Kelce?

Is every, does every, like Manning, get a chance to throw the pill? Are they just like, it's just in them to be able to, to huck it or what?

• 26:39Speaker 06

Well, it's kind of like I, uh, kind of like I told Eli, we were not raised to be kickers. We were raised to be quarterbacks. And so that's kind of, uh,

• 26:45Speaker 03

  That commercial, by the way.

• 26:46Speaker 06

It's kind of all we know. Can't, uh, can't, can't outrun anybody. Certainly can't kick. But, uh, yeah, look, uh, that's kind of why I sort of, sort of coached the Pro Bowl. Uh, Travis, I mean, my, my son Marshall for the past three years gets to warm up. Uh, Joe Burrow, uh, you know, the best quarterbacks in the NFL. I don't know how you beat that. He's playing catch with Jamar Chase and, you know, Pat and Go with Justin Jefferson. So what a cool moment for him.

• 27:13Travis Kelce?

The kid in me is so jealous of, of Marshall, man. It's, that is such a cool opportunity for him to go out there and have some fun with the gang. Um, I'm sure he's absolutely living it up, man.

• 27:22Speaker 06

Oh, no, no doubt. Uh, he loved it. And like I said, I'm not happy about losing Eli. And I feel like if it has to be like a brothers thing, coaching the Pro Bowl, and I cost Eli, you know, his job as well. There's only other two, there's only one other set of brothers that I know of that has a NFC, AFC connection. Um, you know, uh, Jason seems eligible, you know, uh, Travis, I'd keep playing as long as you can. But I feel like when that time comes, I think, uh, I think my job is definitely at jeopardy if the Kelseys want to take over the Pro Bowl.

• 27:58Speaker 03

Tell you what, I can put a mean run game in that flag football outfit.

• 28:02Travis Kelce?

Oh, it'd be lateral central if I ever got the, got the chance to coach that thing up.

• 28:09Speaker 03

Speaking of brothers, we're tied right now with Super Bowl victories. Kelseys and Mannings. Four piece. Does that mean the Mannings are officially pulling for the Eagles?

• 28:22Speaker 06

Hard for me to pull for the Eagles like being in the division, you know, but uh it's a little bit easier this year with Saquon being there and having been a teammate. You know, I think these situations, you really, you root for players, you root for coaches that you know, and, and uh, I mean, obviously, you know, a lot of connections, Travis, you know, rooting for you to win it, win a Super Bowl, rooting for Steve McCall and Andy Reid and all the guys.

• 28:49Travis Kelce?

  Ooh, Spags.

• 28:50Speaker 06

But you know, it's a little more difficult Eagles, but with Saquon there, you kind of want, you want all those guys to experience winning a championship. Obviously Travis, you, you've, you've done it many times and to go for a three-peat would be an unbelievable, but, but you know that feeling and you never get tired of it. So do you, Jason. You know that feeling of win, of, of winning a championship and, and you want all your, all your pals that you've met or played with to have that, that feeling at least one time.

• 29:15Travis Kelce?

I mean, my question would be, Jason, would be if we're even, you know, really with the amount of rings, you know, I, I know certain teams, certain owners, when they win, they give rings to alumni who are just integral and kind of creating the culture of the team. I can't think of a guy more, more significant and kind of creating that tough run the ball, uh, tough offensive lineman culture than you. So if the, if the Eagles happen to win, do you think you would get a ring? Do you think you deserve a ring? Let's just, let's just, uh, let's just settle it right here. Cause if that's the case, you and I are screwed in this competition.

• 29:54Travis Kelce?

I'm getting a ring out of this game, nor are you. I mean, the Broncos at least made the playoffs. The, uh, the Giants were eliminated after like week eight.

• 30:05Speaker 06

You don't get rings to make the playoffs. You don't get rings.

• 30:08Speaker 03

I will gladly decline any charitable ring that they're going to be trying to give out to me because I don't deserve any of it. But I had, I did lose my first Super Bowl ring in Nevada, Chile. I will take another one of those. If they want to just print that one out again, I could take that one again. Yeah.

• 30:27Travis Kelce?

You were just talking about the, uh, the big field goal kick you guys got coming up here. Gronk has missed it two years in a row, I believe. Are we feeling confident we can at least get one up and over?

• 30:40Speaker 06

Jason, we, uh, actually were in Orlando. We watched some film with Gronk. Gronk drove down from Tampa and brought film of his first two kicks and we were kind of learning what not to do, right? Gronk had his whole family out there the first kick. He had a full uniform on. He had a helmet. It was windy that day in, uh, in Arizona. By the way, I think there's something about Gronk missing when the Chiefs are in the Super Bowl. That seems to be the theme. So hopefully that doesn't apply to us. Eli pulled a quad in practice. I don't know if he put that out of the injury report. If that should change the odds, but, uh, uh, I have a new respect for kickers. I've been so sore every time I practice. I really don't know why it goes in and why it

• 31:25Speaker 06

doesn't go in. There's no path to it, but, uh, I haven't pulled a quad. I'm healthy going into Sunday's, uh, kick of destiny, uh, three, and, uh, I think I'm gonna make it.

• 31:37Travis Kelce?

Oh, I like, I love the confidence.

• 31:39Speaker 06

I'm healthy now. This is about six weeks ago, uh, did, did pull a quad and I've been on.

• 31:43Travis Kelce?

You've been practicing for six weeks?

• 31:45Speaker 06

Six weeks. Yeah, yeah. I, I started six weeks ago, day one.

• 31:50Travis Kelce?

I mean, it's lots on the line. I get it.

• 31:52Speaker 03

He's just getting healthy though. He's been on the sideline for a little bit.

• 31:54Speaker 06

Yeah. No stretch, no stretch, no nothing. It was just like, I'll just kick a 25 yarder. I was like, put it at 25. I kicked one. It, it went in. I kicked the next one and it went four yards with a pulled quad and I limped.

• 32:10Speaker 06

I'm, uh, I've, I kicked, uh, I kicked on Monday this week. It felt good. I didn't get to the, to the full 25 yards, but I just, uh, you know, kicked about a 20 yarder and I think I'll, I'll be ready for Sunday.

• 32:23Speaker 03

Your trainer will get you that extra.

• 32:25Speaker 06

They said they can give me a Tornorall shot now that I'm not a player anymore.

• 32:29Speaker 03

I'm taking both of you guys to get Tornorall.

• 32:31Travis Kelce?

  This guy's committed.

• 32:32Speaker 06

Full throttle. I'm going game day mode, full warm up, full, you know, super T shot, get everything.

• 32:38Travis Kelce?

I cannot, I cannot wait to see this, man. Jason actually had a similar experience where he got to respect the kickers a little bit as well, uh, trying to kick a field goal on college game day in front of Pat McAfee, man. It was class.

• 32:50Speaker 03

I was on a, I was on a slant. I was on a slot, like a slight. Angle in boots.

• 32:55Travis Kelce?

Yeah, well, you chose to wear the boots, so.

• 32:58Speaker 03

No, that was part of the sponsorship I had.

• 33:01Travis Kelce?

Shout out to Timberland. Great job, Timberland.

• 33:04Speaker 03

We are down in the Super Bowl. We're in New Orleans, your hometown.

• 33:08Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah.

• 33:09Speaker 03

Couple of Super Bowl questions. You guys have both worked with Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes, who have both attended Manning Passing Academy as high schoolers. Did you guys both know that they had the opportunity, well, would have the potential to play in the Super Bowl one day?

• 33:22Speaker 06

Jason, both those guys actually came to the camp as college players, as counselors. It's a high school football camp that, uh, that we have college players come and serve as counselors. And in return, Eli and I will spend time with them in between high school practices on their NFL aspirations. Jalen came twice, and you definitely just saw what a natural leader he was. Uh, quiet confidence, just the way he carries himself. You can see why people want to follow him. And then Mahomes just, um, yeah, his swagger just jumps out. I remember it was raining one night and we were like, hey, I'm not sure we want to throw tonight. You know, there's people out there watching and. Oh, man, I'll throw. I'll rip it right now.

• 34:04Speaker 03

  Jeez.

• 34:06Speaker 06

He doesn't flinch. He doesn't care. I'll swing it at anything.

• 34:12Speaker 06

That's exactly what he said. And to me, that's just pretty telling. Um, as you know, Travis, you know, when you're in college and people are around watching, I don't want to throw today. Maybe, you know, maybe there's some coach up there or some GM that happens to have a, uh, a kid at the camp. Maybe they're watching or maybe this hurts my passion was just like, nope, I'll go out there and throw it. And so those are the two things I took away from having both those guys at the camp. And, and you see that, uh, has transferred to their NFL careers. Uh, and so I'm proud of both of them. They've been fun to watch and I think that's why it'd be a great quarterback matchup on Super Bowl Sunday.

• 34:46Speaker 03

Have you talked to either of these guys before the big game yet?

• 34:50Speaker 06

Texted both of them after the NFC and AFC championship congratulating them, wishing them luck. You know, both of them got back to me. I've kind of stayed in touch with a lot of the quarterbacks that have come through the camp. I think this past year, Jason, we had 26 of the 32 starting NFL quarterbacks were counselors at the Manning Passing Academy. So it's quite the fraternity. So Eli and I keep up with them. Obviously talked to a lot of them, you know, getting ready for a Manning cast game, but just kind of wish them luck throughout their careers. And so I've kept up with Patrick and Jalen throughout their careers. Jalen reached out a couple of years ago about kind of the routine of the Super Bowl and I sort of gave him my tips and pointers. He kind of knows that

• 35:33Speaker 06

routine now. Mahomes, you know, gets his mail sent to the Super Bowl every year because he knows he's going to beat them. So Travis does as well. So, you know, they don't have to ask me too many questions anymore about the Super Bowl routine.

• 35:48Travis Kelce?

Well, you, you always got the best advice, big guy. I remember getting my first shot at SNL and getting the text from you to just enjoy the ride, man. I loved, I appreciated that. That made me feel so much more at home knowing that you believed in me to have fun and to do it the right way. So I appreciate that. But Eli, you actually had, you had somebody come up to you at the Pro Bowl and tell you that he was actually in the Manning camp.

• 36:11Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 36:12Travis Kelce?

The wide receiver from Atlanta, right?

• 36:15Speaker 06

  Yeah. Hodge, Hodge.

• 36:17Travis Kelce?

  Hodge, there it is.

• 36:18Speaker 06

Yeah. He came up and said, he was a camper. He, he came his junior year, he was a quarterback and he, he came to the camp and

• 36:26Travis Kelce?

  That's crazy.

• 36:27Speaker 06

Obviously we told him, I think he should try receiver. And so we saw, we saw right there. It's like we did 7-on-7. He was playing receiver some, made some plays and now he's, you know, he's making, making the Pro Bowl. It's a special team guy, but you know, he's a receiver also in the NFL and, and so just a great story. So we've had a couple of guys, a couple of guys, a couple of quarterbacks in the NFL also. I think Russell Wilson was a camper. He, you know, he, but not as a counselor, became as a camper in high school. The new coach of the

• 37:00Speaker 07

Jaguars, Liam Cohen was a camper.

• 37:03Speaker 03

  Liam.

• 37:03Travis Kelce?

  How about that?

• 37:04Speaker 03

  Doof.

• 37:05Speaker 07

Oh. So, uh, that's how, that's how old we are. We got coaches, we got coaches that were campers now.

• 37:13Travis Kelce?

That's crazy, man. You guys have been doing it for a while, man. Me and Hodge have a similar story. I was actually, um, recruited at Tennessee. David Cutcliffe was working me out, thought I had some potential to be a football player, not to be a quarterback. So Tennessee never offered me, but yeah, eventually made the transition over.

• 37:29Speaker 03

Camper, you would have sped his career up quite a bit, getting him away from the quarterback position.

• 37:35Travis Kelce?

Exactly. No, that's awesome stuff you guys do with the, uh, the young guys, man. And always, uh, always paving the way for the, uh, future, man. That's always good stuff.

• 37:44Speaker 03

Thanks. Eli, you were talking about your former teammate, Saquon Barkley. And when we had Saquon on the show, he took, we, we do a lot of the welcome to your NFL moments. And his welcome to the NFL moment was when, or at least he said, you shoved grass in his mouth.

• 37:59Speaker 06

  Oh, yeah.

• 38:00Speaker 03

Can we, is this a confirmed story?

• 38:03Speaker 06

Yeah, this is a confirmed story. Every, every year before the, uh, before the first, uh, preseason game, and you know, a lot of these years, you know, kind of the starters aren't playing much and, and they're really going over a little bit that first game, what the routine is before the first preseason game. Like, how do we line up? How do we stretch? Like, how do you run out of the tunnel? Like, all the, you know, patent goes. So we're kind of doing those things. And, uh, you know, I'm kind of sitting on the sideline a, a long time and I always kind of walk up to the guy, to a few of the rookies and I'm kind of holding my mouth and I'm going, man, I gotta get my, uh, my, my mouth, my teeth been bothering me. I gotta get my wisdom teeth pulled

• 38:46Speaker 06

after the game. And they're kind of asking question. I ask them if they've ever had their, if they have or had their wisdom teeth pulled, whether they say yes or no, I say, you know, can I see if, can I either see your wisdom teeth? Or do you still have holes in your mouth? And so when they kind of open up and, and, uh, look up and open their mouth, I got a big chump or clump of grass and dirt in my hand and I just throw it in there.

• 39:11Speaker 07

And you know, I've got like three or four guys on that first practice. I've gotten a few coaches. One time the best, O'Shawn O'Hara and I were trying to get a rookie and Amani Tuber came over. Amani is like in his ninth year and he just like jumped in the conversation. Like we're not talking to him. We were no, we're like trying to, and he opened up and O'Hara put the cup of grass in his mouth.

• 39:39Speaker 07

We weren't trying to get you, you, but you, you, you offered up this information. He couldn't resist.

• 39:44Speaker 03

  You volunteered yourself.

• 39:46Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 39:46Travis Kelce?

  That's so good, man.

• 39:47Speaker 03

Since we're on the Super Bowl, do you guys, either of you have a welcome to the Super Bowl moment?

• 39:52Speaker 07

I mean, I think it's like, it was my ninth year playing in it for the first year and just, um, you know, down in Miami, it was raining that year's only, only Super Bowl that it really had rained. But I think, um, you know, Billy Joel saying the national anthem. I think there's something about being on the sideline. Uh, when that national anthem plays, you know, watching it all those years as a kid. Uh, you know, Travis, my, my first Super Bowls as a kid were in New Orleans, obviously. I saw, um, the, uh, who's that? I, I saw Montana, uh, beat the Broncos in the 89, uh, 89, 90 season, whatever that was.

• 40:32Speaker 07

That was in New Orleans. I actually was in college, came back and saw the Packers beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. So there obviously been some great ones there in New Orleans. There'd be another great one with, uh, with your Chiefs and the Eagles. But that national anthem, uh, is a, I, I still get emotional watching it, uh, as a fan, you know, as a, as an ex-player sitting at home. But I think when you're on the sidelines, knowing this game's about to happen, uh, that's something that kind of, kind of jumped out to me that I'm really here. And, uh, I'm really playing in a Super Bowl. It was a pretty cool moment.

• 41:04Travis Kelce?

Woo hoo, you're firing me up. Just thinking, just talking about it, man.

• 41:07Speaker 03

  Hundred percent.

• 41:08Speaker 06

You had the worst start to a Super Bowl. It, it Hester just running back the opening kick.

• 41:14Speaker 07

Yeah, it was an emotional moment. It was an emotional moment that the kind of, it kind of ended pretty quickly with Hester.

• 41:22Travis Kelce?

All right. We gotta lock it, boy. We gotta lock it. That's too good. Eli, you got one for us?

• 41:26Speaker 06

You know, I, yeah, I mean, I think it's, it's just for me, it was just trying to like get that first completion. And I just remember, you know, you're just nervous. I mean, kind of a new nerve and you played a whole season. You played playoff games, you played AFC Championship, and all of a sudden it's like a Super Bowl. Uh, just all the, all the, you know, the lights and the national anthem and everything going on. And I just remember, you know, I, the coach was kind of going through some of the plays and I was just like, coach, I'm just, I'm a little nervous. I, I want like a, I need a handoff the first play. Like, I don't want to, you know, I'm just, I don't know. I just gotta get like, breathe a little bit. So we got a handoff and I got my first completion next play and, and you know, had a lot, nice kind of 10 play, long drive, got a field goal.

• 42:08Speaker 06

And then, you know, it was, it was kind of back to normal, but it's definitely a different, um, a different intensity and just, you know, two weeks to, to think about it. And there's so much coming on, on this game and what it means to your team, your fans, your family, you know, so many people coming in town for it. So it, it's, you know, the heart's pumping a little bit harder. That first series, that was Super Bowl for sure.

• 42:32Travis Kelce?

100%. I, I still don't remember the first half of the one that I was in.

• 42:37Travis Kelce?

I don't, I have no idea. I just, I remember like, we started the game down 10 in my mind. I'm just like, how did this happen? Where did this? Well, I need it more now than ever.

• 42:49Speaker 03

Travis, you've been running the wrong plays for the first entire half.

• 42:53Travis Kelce?

I'm locked in, coach. I got it.

• 42:55Speaker 03

I got it. I gotta ask you guys as a center. Peyton, you brought up Sean O'Hara. So I'm gonna come back to you, Eli, cause I do know Sean O'Hara very well. I also know Jeff Saturday very well. There is a moment on the sideline between you and Jeff.

• 43:09Travis Kelce?

  Legendary.

• 43:10Speaker 03

And you, I think everyone knows which moment I'm talking about. It's one of my favorite interactions of a quarterback center of all time. How quickly did you realize you were mic'd up? The whole time? Or it was just like mid fury of just like, I'm tired of this guy bitching. I need to like.

• 43:27Travis Kelce?

  Go ahead.

• 43:28Speaker 06

I mean, I mean, look, when you're mic'd up, you know, to me, you know, the sooner you can forget about it, the better, right? I always.

• 43:33Speaker 03

  For sure.

• 43:34Speaker 06

  Kind of knew.

• 43:34Speaker 07

was mic'd up in pregame warmups because they, you know, you put your pads on, you can see the tape over the mic, so you're just kind of thinking about it and hopefully, once the game goes, but we had run the ball all the way down there, uh, Jason had a good, good run game, uh, we were playing a Monday night game against the Rams, ran it down there and the Rams, uh, in the side of the five yard line basically said, okay, enough's enough, they loaded the box, we had a run play called, uh, first down and second down, they were blitzing everybody, we audibled, throw, throw, incomplete, now it's third and go, throw again, so naturally Jeff and the offensive line, just like all of you are not happy, like, you know, why did you run it to get down there and now, and now we're gonna throw it?

• 44:17Speaker 03

  Throw it three times, yeah.

• 44:18Speaker 07

And so we sit on our separate sides of the bench, but I can hear him talking, I can hear him, you know, why are we, why are we throwing it, just run the rock, run the rock, and I just, I kind of let it breathe, let it breathe, and finally I just snapped and I go down there and I'm, you know, I'm all fired up, then I realized, Travis, I mean, I am in enemy territory, the entire offensive line, ready to, you know, support their center and come right at me, I'm like, okay, let me kind of back off of this, but, uh, hey, um, I'll tell you a good Super Bowl story about Jeff Saturday real quick, every Thursday during our entire career in Indianapolis, Jeff and I played together forever, we always did wet ball drills, right, where, you know, we're taking snaps before practice and the

• 45:00Speaker 07

equipment guy is spraying the water bottle, water bottle on the football, creating the environment, and Jeff would get so mad, Travis, because he'd say, Peyton, we're playing in the RCA Dome this week, you know, there's no chance of rain, I'm like, you never know, there could be a leak, you never know, we're gonna prepare, we're gonna prepare, anyway, we do that for eight years, right, and every Thursday, no matter what, we get to the Super Bowl, it's raining, uh, like just cats and dogs, and we have zero fumbled snaps, the Bears have three fumbled snaps, and I say, that's why we've been doing the wet ball, uh, snap drill all these years, so those little things pay off in the Super Bowl.

• 45:42Travis Kelce?

They pay off, when you're a dome team, baby, that's good shit right there.

• 45:46Speaker 03

Eli, do you have any of those stories with Sean?

• 45:48Speaker 06

  Yeah, we-

• 45:49Speaker 03

  Or any of your centers?

• 45:50Speaker 06

Well, I had wet, wet ball drill with Sean every single day.

• 45:54Speaker 03

  Every day.

• 45:55Speaker 06

It's a spreader, it would spread so badly.

• 46:00Travis Kelce?

It wasn't rain, it was just swamp ass, huh?

• 46:02Speaker 06

Yeah, I mean, you know, this is before you're in shotgun every play. We're under center, I formation, and we're under center on first and second down every series, even third down sometimes. We're under center like and drop him back and throwing the ball. So, I mean, it was, I was getting the wet ball. I made him change his pants at halftime, which is a, you know.

• 46:24Speaker 03

I've had to do that before you a couple of times.

• 46:26Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, crazy.

• 46:27Speaker 06

That's not easy. That's, I mean, they basically have to cut the pants off because you got your shoes are spattered. You can just take off your shoes.

• 46:34Travis Kelce?

  Taped up.

• 46:34Speaker 06

You're taped up. Yeah, everything else. I mean, he's on his back, just laying there and people are ripping them off. It's not that hard to get the pants on, but putting dry pants on a wet body is not an easy feat, especially over sleeves. So he was not happy about that. He was, he was ready for November to hit, the cooler weather. I didn't make him change the pants, but uh, we didn't have any fumbled snaps just because of all the wet ball drill every.

• 47:00Speaker 03

  Just standard wet ball drill.

• 47:02Travis Kelce?

So good. All right, let's, uh, let's get off the centers and get on some tight ends, baby. You guys both played with some great ones. Uh, Jeremy Shockey, my guy Dallas Clark, uh, absolute legends, man. Um, I remember coming in and wanting to be like Shockey. He was such an energy, like he looked like a force to be reckoned with every single time he played the game. And Dallas Clark, I mean, his fearlessness over the middle, Peyton. I don't know how many times I saw you guys throw a bender in cover two and he just went up there and just got smoked for the team. He's just no gloves on, just going up, just, just running through a wall for a guy.

• 47:36Speaker 06

Shockey's bender is a little bit different than Dallas. Shockey, when you have a bender, that word means something different to Shockey.

• 47:46Travis Kelce?

I was, I had to ask though, what uh, what do you think it is about tight end and quarterback like relationship that, that, that really gets the best out of the offense?

• 47:54Speaker 07

I mean, to me, look, they're closer to the quarterback than than the Z or the X of the slot. They're right there. Just, you know, just kind of three players away, right? Guard, tackle, tight end. So they're kind of one of the last guys that you kind of almost break the huddle with, I feel like, Travis. You could always, I mean, I see Travis and Patrick talking as they're breaking the huddle. And so you can kind of get the last word in, hey, hey, if they blitz, you know, break hot, hey, look, watch out for cover two man, give the guy a little stick to the outside before you bend it. And so I think just that little extra conversation, maybe that closer proximity kind of creates that tight end quarterback bond. And I always felt like I

• 48:37Speaker 07

knew where Dallas was going to be. Look, what, you know, Patrick and Travis have created is a whole different level, but it's just a real comfort zone. And, you know, I love Dallas. Like you said, he was fearless across the middle. We were down there with Kittle. He was talking about tight end, you and Oh, it's so much fun.

• 48:56Speaker 07

How Dallas still comes back and works it. So special, it's a special connection when you have a quarterback and tight end that have that feel for each other. There's a confidence there. And I felt that way with Dallas. And obviously, you and Patrick have had that forever.

• 49:11Speaker 06

I think the other thing with with the tight ends and quarterback, it's harder for a team to to double a tight end. And, you know, you might have a receiver in the outside, hey, we got to take away this receiver, we're going to play two man, or we're going to double him in different ways, or play certain zones to take him away, where you kind of, some of your staple plays on first and second down, you know, hey, you're going to have a matchup in the offensive favor of a tight end on a linebacker, possibly where, hey, we can run a stick route, we can get a completion. So I think you just have a lot of your, your high percentage completion plays are kind of the tight ends, the number one read. And hey, if they do take him away, or they have bad leverage, you should have one on one with your receivers and get through your progression.

• 49:56Speaker 06

But I just think kind of some of your staples and your comfort plays, it starts with the tight end being that first read.

• 50:03Travis Kelce?

Nice, and we can all confirm that you gotta get that bond off the field and have some beers. How many times you go on a bender with Shaki?

• 50:11Speaker 06

No benders with Shaki, but definitely, you know, we hit the town in New York, New York City a few times those first couple of years. He filled me some spots that I haven't, I definitely haven't been to since, let's say that, so.

• 50:25Travis Kelce?

I love him, man. Shout out to Shaki, baby.

• 50:27Speaker 03

I gotta ask this, I don't know if he's going to, but what would you guys, I mean, you guys know that Travis is kinda known for not running the route on the page, I'd assume. How would you guys have liked playing with a tight end that freelanced like that? Would you have been in favor of that?

• 50:44Travis Kelce?

First of all, I'm not running the wrong route. I'm running what the quarterback wants me to run, it might not be what's on paper.

• 50:50Speaker 03

He might not even know he wants you to run it.

• 50:53Speaker 07

I would agree with Travis. I feel like Travis keeps, keeps the offensive coordinator from kinda being one play away, right? You know, if you have outside leverage and you have an out route, I see Travis, you know, kinda just curl it in and Mahomes sees that and he throws it to him as opposed to saying, man, I wish we would have had the inside curl route on that play. So, he's kind of a coordinator's best friend and look, as long as the quarterback knows that he might do that, I think that's, that, I mean, that makes it okay, right? If all of a sudden you're just gonna surprise the quarterback and just make stuff up, that's one thing, but it doesn't look like to me Travis has ever surprised Patrick out there.

• 51:38Speaker 07

He's just finding those kinda soft spots in the zone and like I said, the coordinator looks like a genius. Wow, what an unbelievable pick call, you know, created the perfect location for Travis to be open. Meanwhile, Travis should have co-offensive coordinator as part of his title.

• 51:56Speaker 03

Can you believe they called a hook and ladder play right there? I can't believe it.

• 52:00Speaker 07

  Exactly.

• 52:05Travis Kelce?

You already told me that you'd chew me out if I, if I turned inside on stick. On a wide stick.

• 52:12Speaker 07

I would not have. No, no.

• 52:14Travis Kelce?

  You wouldn't have thrown it?

• 52:15Speaker 07

Absolutely, absolutely. I disagree with Eli. I see teams doubling you all the time. They just don't do it very well. They don't really take you away. They still kind of somehow leave you open. I don't really know why or how they do that, but I mean, you beat the double teams and like I said, if they're doubling you, that means somebody else has got to be single. That's a good thing.

• 52:37Travis Kelce?

Well, we'll get to our last segment here. It's called, we gotta ask, but you don't have to answer. You guys can tell us to fuck off if you guys don't want to answer these, but it's always fun, man. We close all our convos with this segment and I'll get to the first one. Who got into the most trouble growing up? And you guys can even even throw Cooper into this.

• 52:55Speaker 06

  Yeah, definitely Coop.

• 53:01Speaker 03

Very strange. So one brother that's not able to defend himself is immediately.

• 53:07Speaker 07

Yeah, Coop kind of set the tone. And so we kind of knew, you know, maybe to do the same things without getting caught. You know, Coop was the one that got caught. And so Eli and I could kind of, kind of learn from there.

• 53:17Speaker 03

There's something about them older brothers not knowing how to not get caught.

• 53:21Travis Kelce?

You gotta flank. You gotta learn the art of flanking.

• 53:23Speaker 03

I got suspended every freaking year of elementary school for getting in a fight. Travis got into a fight and then went to the principal's office and got tickets to the Cavs game because everybody loved him so much.

• 53:34Travis Kelce?

That's because I was such a good artist, Jason. I won a contest. That was besides the fact, but um, yeah, no, it was cool seeing Cooper up at the Super Bowl opening night last night. Was he in the marching band? Growing up? I mean, he wore that outfit pretty goddamn good.

• 53:49Speaker 07

Absolutely not. No, I don't know where he got that costume. Zero band experience, I can probably.

• 53:57Travis Kelce?

  That's good.

• 53:57Speaker 06

He likes the harmonica though. If you, if you give him the opportunity.

• 54:01Speaker 03

I would love to hear that.

• 54:03Travis Kelce?

That's a lost talent. That's a lost talent right there.

• 54:05Speaker 03

Can he bend the notes? Can he like do like blues harmonica or is he straight? Okay.

• 54:10Travis Kelce?

You got our band geek all fired up over here.

• 54:12Speaker 06

I'd say he's, he's new to it. It's all new.

• 54:15Speaker 03

He's like a Bob Dylan, just kind of. Yeah, okay.

• 54:22Speaker 03

All right. Your pops Archie was also a quarterback in the NFL for 13 years. What advice did he give both of you guys?

• 54:29Speaker 06

  Who? Slide, slide.

• 54:30Travis Kelce?

  Slide, slide.

• 54:33Speaker 06

He also told us, we're not very fast, so don't run and.

• 54:40Speaker 06

And he said, don't do that. Y'all are not fast. And when you get out there, get down, don't take hits. And you know, we, we, we learned that the hard way. You know, it only takes one hit in the NFL. And you're like, yeah, I should have listened to dad. He's definitely right.

• 54:59Speaker 07

Definitely slide. Have fun. He always kind of the last thing he used to Texas or if we talked to him the night before the game was they don't forget to have fun out there, which I think is a good reminder, especially in a game like this, right? You work so hard. You know, have fun. And also just kind of off the field, you know, be sure you have a great relationship and respect with your equipment manager, the video director, the people behind the scenes that you guys know, they don't get nearly enough credit or attention on a television broadcast, but are, are sort of integral to the culture of a team. You know, just little things like that. It was nice having a guy who played in the NFL that could tell you about little things like that.

• 55:37Speaker 03

Did you guys have any pressure to live up to, I guess, what Archie did? Cause Travis and I like, we didn't have a lot to live up with Ed Kelsey. I'm just letting you know, like there was a bar was very low.

• 55:49Speaker 06

  Don't you dare do that.

• 55:50Speaker 03

  Well, for football, for football.

• 55:54Speaker 03

Dad bar is set high for Ed Kelsey.

• 55:56Speaker 06

  Extremely high, yeah.

• 55:57Speaker 07

You know, and my dad didn't sort of try to create an environment where he was just trying to raise kids. He wasn't trying to raise NFL quarterbacks. And maybe that's why it ended up happening because, you know, he encourages to play sports because of the valuable lessons that sports teaches. But, you know, never once did we talk about, this is what you have to do if you want to play in the NFL. It was, hey, work hard to be the starting quarterback on the JV. And after that, you know, maybe see if he can start on the varsity the next year. And his rule, Jason and Travis was if we wanted his help, we had to go and ask him, hey, dad, will you come to the school on Sunday afternoon and throw with our receivers? It wasn't him going, hey, we're going to run two miles

• 56:40Speaker 07

today. And I think it was a healthy approach because we wanted his help because he played the game. And I think that, that was a good approach that he took. And it, it made it fun growing up and never felt like pressure.

• 56:51Speaker 06

Yeah, there's, there's definitely more pressure for me trying to follow in Peyton's footsteps. He was five years older than me. You know, I go into the high school, he set every record. I'm going into college. He was just up in the Heisman. He was the first pick in the NFL draft. And it's, you know, it's like, geez, Louise, you feel like. Well, you know, didn't have to do the best at everything that I enter into and follow your footsteps. So, but he was, he was a great big brother. Um, as I got older, I mean, definitely picked on me and, and gave me wedgies and noogies and, and all those things, which, uh, I think helped me. It toughened me up and, and got me prepared for the NFL. But he always did, like in college, he would come back and teach me the things he was learning in college. Hey, we're, we're, we're doing this on the three step drop.

• 57:36Speaker 06

And hey, this is some of the drills we're doing in college. You should be doing these now. Like get a head start on these things. So he did look out, you know, look out, uh, for me all the time and, and, uh, and, and probably put more pressure on me to, to, to do some of these drills than my dad did.

• 57:52Travis Kelce?

Well, you, you guys got the formula. You guys got it figured out. Arch Manning is having an unbelievable start to, uh, to his college career. But also, uh, I remember I saw you guys playing knockout on TV when I was a kid and I was like, I'm brotherin' right because that's exactly how me and Jason played knockout growing up. Um, let's keep this thing moving though. Um, who has the most buns career stat? Eli with the most career fumbles or Peyton with the most, uh, interceptions by rookie?

• 58:21Speaker 03

  Oh, wow.

• 58:22Speaker 06

I guess mine sounds worse. It's over career. His is just.

• 58:28Travis Kelce?

I would agree. I would agree.

• 58:30Speaker 03

Because of Sean's sweaty ass. We already figured this out.

• 58:33Travis Kelce?

  God damn it.

• 58:34Speaker 03

  Fucking Sean.

• 58:35Speaker 07

Although my interception record, you know, this 17 games, I thought for sure it should get broken. And I mean, nobody's, nobody's coming close to it. I'm disappointed.

• 58:45Speaker 06

And they're throwing more now than you were throwing.

• 58:49Speaker 06

More games, throwing more and less interceptions.

• 58:52Speaker 07

  Stuff is not right.

• 58:53Speaker 06

They gotta get to 10 in the first three games. If they can get to 10 in first three games.

• 58:58Speaker 07

You gotta get off to a good start.

• 59:00Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, that is. That's insane.

• 59:03Speaker 03

You guys have a new documentary coming out, Razor's Edge on Vice. Omaha's forthcoming follow doc on Coach Calipari.

• 59:12Travis Kelce?

  Oh, that's awesome.

• 59:13Speaker 03

Arkansas's man's basketball team. What can you guys tell us about the doc?

• 59:17Speaker 07

Yeah, it's just a cool behind the scenes. You look, you know, Coach Cal's done it a long time and obviously making the big move to Arkansas. Just wanted to kind of document, you know, his first season. It's a changing landscape with NIL. You know, Coach Cal was kind of known for just sort of coaching, coaching freshmen, right? Kind of the one and done. And, you know, now, you know, he's kind of changed his approach where he wants, you know, kind of older players. He doesn't have that many players. He's like, if I'm going to pay these guys, I'm going to have a limited amount of players and, and play them all. So just to kind of take people behind the scenes of what it's like to be a SDC head basketball coach. He went back to Kentucky two nights ago and won, which was incredible because of all that he accomplished there, winning a national championship.

• 1:00:02Speaker 07

Got kind of a, you know, some fans were clapping when he came back. Some fans were booing. They hadn't gotten over it, but he went in there and won. So, uh, look, all these behind the scenes shows just give the audience a different view. So we're excited about it. Razor's Edge coming out on Vice.

• 1:00:18Travis Kelce?

Hell, yeah. Awesome, man. I'm so intrigued in that. I'm definitely going to be dialed in.

• 1:00:22Speaker 03

  Fuck, yeah.

• 1:00:22Travis Kelce?

If you were both playing, uh, college football today, who has the higher NIL deals?

• 1:00:30Speaker 06

You gotta go with Peyton again. I mean, the guy's, you know, he's a great spokesman. He's just, uh,

• 1:00:39Travis Kelce?

He could sell the product or what?

• 1:00:41Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 1:00:42Speaker 07

I would have, hey, I wouldn't have accepted any of it. I would have given it all to my centers and my tight ends.

• 1:00:47Travis Kelce?

There we go. There we go.

• 1:00:49Speaker 06

You can just lie to camera like that.

• 1:00:55Speaker 03

  Oh my gosh.

• 1:00:57Travis Kelce?

  So good.

• 1:00:58Speaker 03

How has the NIL stuff changed the landscape? Cause you guys both have kids coming up. The documentary with Calipari, I'm sure touches on the NIL. What are your guys thoughts on NIL just in general?

• 1:01:08Speaker 07

Yeah, I don't know. I mean, it's probably a better question for Travis. I mean, Travis, are you seeing any change in the demeanor of college players coming to the NFL? Because I mean, I mean, to me, that's the, the biggest thing that I was worried about. You know, are guys coming in as hungry, you know, to try to make the team to try to, you know, obviously win a championship hopefully, but you know, make some money as well. Are you seeing that, Travis? It probably just depends on the individual.

• 1:01:36Travis Kelce?

It's, I think it has a lot to do with the culture in KC. I haven't seen that. Our, our number one pick Xavier Worthy has been nothing but the hardest worker on the team. He's just spent every single day grinding it out, trying to figure out ways to, to implement himself in the offense more and get better at the things that Coach Reed asked him to do. So I definitely haven't seen it in, in the rookies we've got at least, but um, yeah, who knows?

• 1:01:58Speaker 07

Yeah. I mean, to me, that's the thing that, you know, that I want to keep is keep guys coming in hungry and trying to accomplish new goals and you know, obviously help teams win. So as long as we got that going, you know, I'm okay.

• 1:02:10Travis Kelce?

  I'm with you.

• 1:02:11Speaker 06

  Love it.

• 1:02:12Travis Kelce?

Nice. Well, last question. Hypothetically, um, if there had been an official Manning Bowl, who would have won?

• 1:02:20Speaker 06

Well, I'll, I'll answer it. He don't want to say it. He's too nice. I mean, he is, he in the, in, in the NFL games, I have not beat him in a real game. Now, you know, flag football, Pro Bowl, I got that mastered, but he, uh, I'm 0 for 3, uh, anytime we faced him in a real game. Um, and so, but, uh, you know, I, that's just the way, just the way it went those years. It would have been, I guess it would have been, I don't know if it would have been fun to play you in a Super Bowl or not. I mean, y'all, y'all did it. It's gotta be all.

• 1:02:51Speaker 03

I'll tell you right now, it was not fun at all, Eli. It was fucking terrible.

• 1:02:56Speaker 07

  I mean, the one thing.

• 1:02:58Travis Kelce?

I had a pretty good time.

• 1:02:59Speaker 03

Yeah, you enjoyed yourself, I'm sure.

• 1:03:01Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:03:01Speaker 03

No hypothetical on this end, guys. Hypothetical.

• 1:03:08Speaker 07

Hey, Travis, Jason, the one thing Eli has no clue and no understanding, and believe me, he's proud of it, is what it's like to lose a Super Bowl, right? And it's, um, it's, it's, it's a horrible feeling. Obviously, winning is as great as you think it is, and losing is as bad as you think it is. And so I'm kind of glad that it didn't happen because I know that was tough on, on you two, tough on your family. Um, and Eli and I played three times in the regular season. My parents were an absolute wreck and just in a regular season game. And now you take that to the Super Bowl and knowing, you know, obviously the attention a quarterback's going to get in a Super Bowl, win or lose, knowing that, you know, one had to win and one had to lose, I probably wouldn't wish that on my family.

• 1:03:54Speaker 07

Uh, so I'm probably glad that it didn't happen. And I think the way y'all handled that several years ago and the way your family handled it was first class. I know that was not easy.

• 1:04:03Travis Kelce?

Yeah, well, I mean, I had lost, I had lost when I hear, I hear what you're saying, Pete. I had lost a Super Bowl going into the game that we, so I just had to make sure that Jason felt that misery. That was just being a good brother. You guys know about being good brothers.

• 1:04:18Speaker 06

Did you feel bad going out that night and celebrating, like just knowing that your brother is crying in his hotel room and you're just, you were just fine just going out there and just?

• 1:04:27Travis Kelce?

Well, you know, once you have a few beers, you forget about everything and.

• 1:04:32Speaker 03

I was not, I wasn't crying. I was pulling a Jeremy Shockey is what I was.

• 1:04:37Speaker 03

Eli, you brought up Spags. Eagles are playing one of the best defensive coordinators in the history of the NFL at this point, it feels like. What would you do? What, what would your game plan be going in up against that blitz packaging and like everything that he can throw at you? Like, what would your?

• 1:04:53Travis Kelce?

Don't give it away. Don't give it away.

• 1:04:54Speaker 06

Yeah, I mean, yeah, I don't know. Not that I give away, Spags, Spags is the best. And I mean, we, we, we saw it. It's the first time I'd ever seen it in the, in our first Super Bowl going against the Patriots where, you know, every time he had a. You know, a strong side blitz and Brady made a call, I'm gonna pick it up. He had the defense reverse it and just kind of make a call and all of a sudden it came from the weak side and getting them to throw hot, it's getting them, you know, really just kind of causing some issues, saying, hey, I can't be right with my protections. He's all, they're flip flopping it sometimes. And so you just see it, you know, unbelievable. And last week's game, the last play of the fourth down against the Bills versus an empty

• 1:05:34Speaker 06

formation of a four by one, he brings a will corner blitz on the biggest, you know, biggest play of the game and gets, you know, has a free runner going. So, I mean, that's his mentality. He wants the blitz, but it's not just, hey, we're bringing blitz zero. It's gonna be some exotic blitz, some blitz. He has it done all game long, all game long. He's not showing this blitz. When do you bring it? Fourth and five on the last drive in the most critical moment of the game. And so that's what makes him hard to prepare for is that, hey, how do I prepare for something I haven't seen yet or something they haven't done this year yet that he's not, you know, draw up for these critical moments? And, uh, and just, and then when you think he is on a blitz, he fakes the blitz and going back to coverage, so.

• 1:06:19Travis Kelce?

Just when you think you got him.

• 1:06:21Speaker 06

He's just a mastermind. He's a, he's a great leader. He's a great human being. Uh, this is one of the great, you know, you know, people and, uh, so happy for him, all his success and, um, you know, I think Travis, you know how lucky you are to have him on that defensive side, just, uh, you know, being, being the leader over there.

• 1:06:39Travis Kelce?

One of my favorite coaches of all time, baby. I'm right there with you, brother. Well, fellas, thank you guys for your time, man. The Mannings have came through, man. One good brother to another, man. We love you guys. Thank you guys for leading the way, uh, doing things the right way and always lending a helping hand, man. We love you guys, man.

• 1:06:57Speaker 06

Best of luck in the field goal kicks.

• 1:06:59Travis Kelce?

I can't wait to see this field goal kick.

• 1:07:01Speaker 03

Yeah. I don't know what I'm more fired up to watch. I've seen enough Super Bowls. I want to watch this field goal kick. That's what I want to watch.

• 1:08:42Speaker 03

Our second food review. Was this gumbo or jambalaya?

• 1:08:45Speaker 05

  Gumbo.

• 1:08:45Speaker 03

Gumbo and crawfish. Or, depending on where you're from, crayfish.

• 1:08:52Travis Kelce?

  All right, Jason, dive in.

• 1:08:54Speaker 03

  Well, there's two spoons.

• 1:08:55Travis Kelce?

I think there's two for your right and left hand.

• 1:08:57Speaker 03

Are you not getting any gumbo?

• 1:08:58Travis Kelce?

  I'm not eating that, no.

• 1:08:59Speaker 03

What kind of gumbo is this?

• 1:09:01Speaker 05

  Chicken and sausage.

• 1:09:02Speaker 03

  Chicken and sausage.

• 1:09:03Travis Kelce?

Another reason why I'm not eating it right there.

• 1:09:05Speaker 03

You don't like chicken and sausage?

• 1:09:07Travis Kelce?

  I'm not a sausage guy.

• 1:09:08Speaker 03

You're not a so- oh, that's right. Even when it's cut up? I thought that was just a phallic thing.

• 1:09:12Travis Kelce?

No, it's, it's just a whole, like... The way you ate that was disgusting.

• 1:09:20Speaker 03

  That's fucking delicious.

• 1:09:21Travis Kelce?

  Oh my god, that sound.

• 1:09:22Speaker 03

  It's so good.

• 1:09:22Travis Kelce?

What the fuck was that, like slur?

• 1:09:24Speaker 03

I could use a little hot sauce.

• 1:09:29Travis Kelce?

  Who eats like that?

• 1:09:31Speaker 03

Somebody wearing a white t-shirt eating gumbo. Make sure you don't get any extra juice.

• 1:09:35Travis Kelce?

I mean, you, you didn't hesitate one second. You went back for, you went back for like...

• 1:09:42Speaker 03

It's fucking, it's delicious. It's chicken and sausage in soup form with rice.

• 1:09:50Speaker 03

Alright, I'm not gonna lie, I don't even know how to fucking attack this. I've never had a crawfish outside of like

• 1:09:59Speaker 03

But, am I eating the belly?

• 1:10:01Travis Kelce?

  I got Greggy

• 1:10:02Speaker 05

  Locals helping

• 1:10:04Speaker 03

  Tail, pop the tail off?

• 1:10:07Travis Kelce?

  That's

• 1:10:07Speaker 03

The fuck you mean other way, that's his tail

• 1:10:11Travis Kelce?

There it is, thank you There it is

• 1:10:13Speaker 03

Of the tail or the body?

• 1:10:15Travis Kelce?

  Tail

• 1:10:15Speaker 03

So I'm only eating the tail?

• 1:10:19Speaker 03

Optional to suck the head, I'm gonna suck that motherfucker's head if it's optional How do I get this in?

• 1:10:25Travis Kelce?

  I don't know

• 1:10:28Speaker 03

I have no idea, I'm not even getting any fucking meat out of this thing

• 1:10:31Travis Kelce?

Just, you've never ate a shrimp before?

• 1:10:33Speaker 03

I'll tell you what, it's a bad idea to eat fucking crawfish on your goddamn lap in a white t-shirt This is a fucking awful desire

• 1:10:41Travis Kelce?

  Dude, you look great

• 1:10:43Speaker 03

  I'm struggling

• 1:10:44Travis Kelce?

You gotta put your superhero mask on, that's why

• 1:10:47Speaker 03

Am I fucking doing this right? Is somebody telling me how to do this?

• 1:10:49Travis Kelce?

100% you are You're getting it, there you go, see, you did it

• 1:10:53Speaker 03

It tastes great But I'm kinda feeling the same thing I feel towards crab, which is just like, it's a lot of work for like, not that much meat This is better than crab though I dig that flavor What I do, suck the head?

• 1:11:04Travis Kelce?

  There you go

• 1:11:07Speaker 03

  This way?

• 1:11:10Speaker 03

  I was gonna suck

• 1:11:12Travis Kelce?

Go 45, 266, baby that's all we need When you go to the bar at the door, smoke that crawfish head

• 1:11:28Speaker 03

So you, you only eat the fucking tails of this thing? The fuck, that just seems like such a waste, look at how small its tail is

• 1:11:37Travis Kelce?

  Oh yeah

• 1:11:37Speaker 03

Well I need to see what your rhythm's like, man, cuz I'm getting no rhythm And I feel like this is a lot to throw away

• 1:11:47Speaker 03

  That's why I'm sucking that head, don't

• 1:11:53Travis Kelce?

It's all in your beard. This is great.

• 1:12:04Speaker 03

I mean, on flavors alone, 10 out of 10.

• 1:12:07Travis Kelce?

  Nice.

• 1:12:07Speaker 03

It is fucking delicious. But on difficulty of obtaining the meat and just pure waste, I'm going like four.

• 1:12:16Speaker 03

  But it's it's absolutely wonderful. If I knew what I was doing, I think it'd be a 10.

• 1:12:23Speaker 03

We are here for a reason. There is the 59th Super Bowl in the history of the NFL being played.

• 1:12:29Travis Kelce?

  Fifty nine.

• 1:12:30Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:12:31Travis Kelce?

It's a lot of Super Bowls.

• 1:12:31Speaker 03

If I'm reading my Roman numerals correct, it's 59.

• 1:12:34Travis Kelce?

  The idiot is correct, yeah.

• 1:12:35Speaker 03

Continually gets more confusing when they start adding L's.

• 1:12:38Travis Kelce?

The L's always get you know what the.

• 1:12:40Speaker 03

At what point are we just gonna have to abandon overnumerals because nobody's gonna have a fucking clue what the Roman numeral means?

• 1:12:45Travis Kelce?

It's like cursive. They don't even teach the kids anymore.

• 1:12:48Speaker 03

What is what's so X is five, one.

• 1:12:52Travis Kelce?

  10.

• 1:12:53Speaker 03

  10.

• 1:12:53Travis Kelce?

  Yep.

• 1:12:54Speaker 03

  That's right. I is one, V is five, X is 10, L is 50.

• 1:12:59Travis Kelce?

  Seven.

• 1:13:02Speaker 03

What's the most complicated Roman numeral number you can like long?

• 1:13:09Speaker 03

We can come up with was it would be like. So it couldn't be like subtract like 500 is just five Cs or is 500?

• 1:13:19Travis Kelce?

I don't know if this is the Super Bowl talk everyone wants to hear.

• 1:13:23Travis Kelce?

The largest number that can be represented in Roman numerals is 3,999.

• 1:13:28Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:13:28Travis Kelce?

  Which is written M, M, M, C, M, X, C, I, X.

• 1:13:33Speaker 03

Well, there you have it. We're gonna have to ban Roman numerals at Super Bowl 3,999 because good luck selling that merchandise.

• 1:13:43Speaker 03

All right. With this being your fifth Super Bowl, does that change with how you approach this game? Are you going to abandon all the other things that allowed you to win?

• 1:13:53Travis Kelce?

Uh, no, I'm gonna stay, stay true to those, uh, particularly the second half of those games. Uh, try and start this one nice and fast.

• 1:14:01Speaker 03

I gotta say this because I get, okay, so everybody brings up the halftime being longer. Whenever somebody goes, so for those of you that don't know, the halftime is longer and

• 1:14:11Travis Kelce?

  Typically it's like 15 minutes.

• 1:14:13Speaker 03

  It's not that much longer.

• 1:14:14Travis Kelce?

  It's 10 minutes more.

• 1:14:15Speaker 03

I don't know if I am just like so anti organized, have me do anything on game day.

• 1:14:22Travis Kelce?

  You're preaching to the choir.

• 1:14:23Speaker 03

I cannot stay like when they're like, okay, we need to stretch at this and do this like motherfucker. It's 10 more minutes. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting a cold now. I'm gonna eat an Uncrustable and get my mind right for the second half. I don't need you to tell me to stretch my quads.

• 1:14:35Travis Kelce?

Make sure everybody knows that is the key at halftime is the Uncrustable. Get you an Uncrustable, a Capri Sun and go ahead and enjoy yourself.

• 1:14:46Speaker 03

I think a lot of the times it gets over, well, I guess I'm one and one. You are clearly better record. Do you feel like people overthink that portion of the Super Bowl?

• 1:14:55Travis Kelce?

You know what? Uh, selfishly thinking, yes, but in the grand scheme of things, people do like structure and people do like to kind of be under, you know, some sort of regimen. I think it helps guys in their first couple of years or at least it did in my first Super Bowl to just relax, understand this is how much time's going, going on. And it gave, it gave me something to do. Did I stretch the next time? No, but I, you know, I understood what I was capable of doing at that point. I understood the system. I understood like what was happening. It was, I was more familiar with the, yeah, the, the entire Super Bowl system. So it's just like, I didn't do a lot of the stuff I did my first year.

• 1:15:37Speaker 03

Maybe it's because I played a position that mentally you were making calls and trying to like discern like, what do we do? What's the plan? But I think you're very much wired that same way. I would have much rather taken the more allocated time and be like, hey, let's talk about what we're going to do in the second half even more than we get. Allotted in a regular halftime because a regular halftime you're speeding through. You're like, okay, this is what they're giving us. These are the coverages we're seeing. These are the runs we're getting to. These are the concepts we like on third down, yada, yada. Let's go out there and play ball. It's like, no, let's actually talk about like, what are the first 10 plays? We might run coming out of the second half and like really dial in on this stuff rather than, you know, do a quad stretch.

• 1:16:18Travis Kelce?

Somebody might need that quad stretch.

• 1:16:20Speaker 03

  You're right.

• 1:16:22Travis Kelce?

And if Jason Kelce doesn't need it, Jason Kelce ain't gonna fucking do it.

• 1:16:25Speaker 03

I just feel like just drink yourself a fucking water and sodium.

• 1:16:28Travis Kelce?

  Get you some pickle juice.

• 1:16:29Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:16:30Travis Kelce?

  Get you.

• 1:16:30Speaker 03

  Eat you an Uncrustable.

• 1:16:32Travis Kelce?

  Maybe snag an orange.

• 1:16:33Speaker 03

Jog back out to the field. Guess what? You'll be warm again.

• 1:16:39Speaker 03

I'm also just anti-stretching in general, so I'm not the person that has.

• 1:16:42Travis Kelce?

Two world wars, two world wars.

• 1:16:44Speaker 03

I played in fucking world record consecutive games for the Eagles. Maybe I'm on to something. Stretching is overrated.

• 1:16:51Travis Kelce?

  Pushups, situps.

• 1:16:52Speaker 03

Granted, my back hurts every single day. The only two times I pulled a muscle, and I'm not making this up, is when I was doing yoga. Like I was in a yoga class in college, pulled a muscle. Then I started doing some yoga in the NFL. One year I did like a yoga class, very same week, pulled a muscle. And I'm like, this stretching shit is for the birds, dog. It ain't for me.

• 1:17:13Travis Kelce?

But to answer your question, I think, uh, over the last four Super Bowls that I've been to, I am at a completely different place as a leader.

• 1:17:25Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:17:26Travis Kelce?

So I feel like getting everyone comfortable is my biggest thing.

• 1:17:29Speaker 03

  And this is, I'm, I'm.

• 1:17:31Travis Kelce?

Cause I'm gonna go out there and I'm gonna be, you know, I'm gonna play my style of football because I'm confident in where I've been and how I've gotten here and things like that. But we got a lot of new faces that haven't been in the Super Bowl yet. And I'm sure it'll hit them like it hit me, my first really two Super Bowls. And it'll surprise them how emotional it'll be for them. So trying to, weather that storm and make sure they feel comfortable. And the biggest thing, man, is if adversity hits, man, band together, man. This is a team sport, brother. You didn't get here alone and you got guys fighting right there with you.

• 1:18:05Speaker 03

You hit the nail on the head. I think having the structure is nice for the guys that want it there. And then if you don't want to do it. Most of the coaches realize the older guys that want to get something else accomplished. Yeah, go do your thing. They're not going to push back on it.

• 1:18:18Travis Kelce?

We're just making sure everybody feels comfortable and not letting the moment get too big. Yeah. That's gonna be my biggest like concern is just making sure everybody feels comfortable and playing our style of football, man. I'm, uh, I think we're playing the best team that we've played yet and that's, it makes sense going into the Super Bowl. I think offensively, defensively, special teams wise, both teams match up really good and at the same time, you know, I got all the confidence in the formula that we've had under Coach Reed and just how we do things in KC and I, I just, you know, I believe in the guys next to me and if we play our style of football, man, we're going to put ourselves in a good situation.

• 1:18:54Speaker 03

That's the biggest thing. The, the emotions of the game can cause people to do uncharacteristic things that they normally wouldn't. So how do we avoid?

• 1:19:02Travis Kelce?

It can either make you timid or make you way too ballsy.

• 1:19:05Speaker 03

Yeah. Or it can make you just right. If you weather it right. If you weather it right, it can be perfect.

• 1:19:09Travis Kelce?

It's like, oh, it's just the biggest game. I gotta be great. I gotta go do something crazy.

• 1:19:12Speaker 03

Or you can way overthink it, which I've done both.

• 1:19:14Travis Kelce?

I've done all of these. I've done absolutely all of these.

• 1:19:17Speaker 03

A lot of fans are asking if Pat is okay after the Mavericks traded his favorite player, Luka Doncic.

• 1:19:24Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah. Yeah.

• 1:19:25Speaker 03

They trade him to the Lakers in case you live in a sewer. Pat's tweets almost gave the Chiefs a heart attack. He said, I'm sick right now. And everybody was like, wait, what?

• 1:19:35Travis Kelce?

Yeah. I knew exactly what it was, cause.

• 1:19:37Speaker 03

Yeah, you were probably with him.

• 1:19:38Travis Kelce?

Well, I, yeah, I'm in a few different group chats with him and everybody was like, Pat, what the fuck is going on in Dallas? Obviously a Dallas, Dallas kid and grew up a huge Dallas sports fan and

• 1:19:50Speaker 03

To pack it in the interest.

• 1:19:52Travis Kelce?

Countless games. We were actually at a game and I got to say what's up to Luca. We talked about it on the show and.

• 1:19:56Speaker 03

Did Pat say what's wrong with the, what, what happened?

• 1:19:59Travis Kelce?

I don't, I'm pretty sure nobody knows exactly what happened other than the GM. Even Mark Cuban came out and I was listening to my guy, Jan Parsons, talk about it. He said, yeah, I don't have any idea what's going on. It's still up in the air on if it was the good move, the right move to make.

• 1:20:16Speaker 03

Did you see, what was the?

• 1:20:18Travis Kelce?

What do you think, what do you think the equivalent, well, you don't even watch the NBA, so I gotta.

• 1:20:22Speaker 03

  I watched some of it.

• 1:20:23Travis Kelce?

  Alright.

• 1:20:24Speaker 03

I have not watched any this year.

• 1:20:26Travis Kelce?

Who's in the, who's in the number one seed for the East?

• 1:20:28Speaker 03

I've just told you, I've not watched any this year. I know it's not the Sixers.

• 1:20:32Travis Kelce?

  You're right.

• 1:20:33Speaker 03

  They are struggling.

• 1:20:34Travis Kelce?

It's the team that honored you and gave you a jersey that you sat courtside at, Jason.

• 1:20:38Speaker 03

Nice, they're balling like that. I knew they had a good start to the year. I've not followed them.

• 1:20:42Travis Kelce?

Damn it, go Cavs, baby. It's our year. Let's go. But at the same time, yeah, that tweet and everything kinda got confusing, but Pat's good. Pat's all good. He's not actually sick. He's healthy.

• 1:20:55Travis Kelce?

Alright, this fucking go. I can't wait for this Sunday, man. I'm so fricking fired up. If it wasn't for the Mannings getting me fired up talking about the National Anthem, or Jason talking about how he'll be happy if the Eagles win. I am so fired up for this game. I love it.

• 1:21:11Speaker 03

  And I just wanna, wanna.

• 1:21:12Travis Kelce?

I relish in these moments, man. I've been waiting all year to fast forward to this game, man, and.

• 1:21:16Speaker 03

  What's most electric National Anthem?

• 1:21:18Travis Kelce?

You already know it's Chris Stapleton. There's just no one even close. I, on, on a sad day, I will put that video on. I'll go to YouTube.

• 1:21:28Speaker 03

Just to watch me and Nick Sirianni cry and then revel in the fact that you beat us?

• 1:21:34Travis Kelce?

  I never looked at that.

• 1:21:37Travis Kelce?

Chris Jones cried too, to be fair.

• 1:21:39Speaker 03

  Chris Jones.

• 1:21:39Travis Kelce?

I, I cried, but I kept my composure.

• 1:21:42Speaker 03

  Yeah, that's.

• 1:21:43Travis Kelce?

But more so, Chris did his thing and it, one of my favorite performances ever.

• 1:21:48Speaker 03

  Yeah, it was very electric.

• 1:21:50Travis Kelce?

Nice, well, let's get to our last food review.

• 1:21:53Speaker 03

Can you make folks feel what you're feeling inside? Alright, Brandon, bring the, uh, king cake and the beignets in. Oh, yeah. Trevor, you allowed to eat this?

• 1:22:03Travis Kelce?

  No, but I am.

• 1:22:06Travis Kelce?

  What?

• 1:22:08Speaker 03

Wait, are you allowed to eat it or are you not allowed to eat it?

• 1:22:10Travis Kelce?

No, I'm not allowed to eat this, Jason. But for the sake of the show, I will eat this.

• 1:22:16Speaker 03

You're willing to do something like that? Dude, what if Andy came in right before you were about to take a bite and took it out?

• 1:22:22Travis Kelce?

I'd fucking offer him one and see what happens.

• 1:22:29Speaker 03

Alright, which one are we going with first? King Cake or Beignet?

• 1:22:31Travis Kelce?

  Let's go Cake.

• 1:22:32Speaker 03

  The Beignet's gonna be messy.

• 1:22:33Travis Kelce?

  It's the closest one.

• 1:22:34Speaker 03

Ooh, I love the texture of that cheese.

• 1:22:37Travis Kelce?

  It's a peppermint lime.

• 1:22:38Speaker 03

So what is a King Cake?

• 1:22:40Travis Kelce?

  Ooh.

• 1:22:43Travis Kelce?

  Hmm.

• 1:22:46Speaker 03

  Cinnamon roll?

• 1:22:48Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:22:48Speaker 03

  Glazed cinnamon roll.

• 1:22:49Travis Kelce?

Glazed cinnamon roll. There's a little bit of like a minty frosting in there. It's not your typical frosting. There's something in the frosting for sure.

• 1:22:57Speaker 03

  I think it's sprinkles.

• 1:22:58Travis Kelce?

You think this, it's minty sprinkles?

• 1:23:01Speaker 03

I'm not gonna lie, I'm getting zero mint.

• 1:23:03Travis Kelce?

It tastes like something from Philly, to be honest. Like something I would get at Wawa's.

• 1:23:07Speaker 03

It tastes like a cinnamon roll with frosting and sprinkles on it.

• 1:23:10Travis Kelce?

I'm giving it a good seven.

• 1:23:11Speaker 03

Yeah, I mean, it's very good. I would eat this.

• 1:23:13Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:23:14Speaker 03

It's almost like a honey bun.

• 1:23:15Travis Kelce?

I was going tasty cake. It's kinda like a tasty cake with frosting, yeah. It's a good loaf of bread, for sure.

• 1:23:22Speaker 03

Well baked, good baked, good baked.

• 1:23:24Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, good baked.

• 1:23:24Speaker 03

  Good rise on it.

• 1:23:25Travis Kelce?

Where are you going? I went seven out of 10.

• 1:23:29Travis Kelce?

  It's no tasty cake, honey.

• 1:23:30Speaker 03

I tried to give like a number when you don't even know what like, are we rating it on just like a baked goods?

• 1:23:36Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, we're rating.

• 1:23:37Speaker 03

  Seven out of 10.

• 1:23:37Travis Kelce?

  There you go.

• 1:23:39Speaker 03

  Beignet, let's go.

• 1:23:40Travis Kelce?

  How do you spell beignet?

• 1:23:41Speaker 03

  B E I G N E T.

• 1:23:45Travis Kelce?

  You just read it.

• 1:23:48Travis Kelce?

  Cheater.

• 1:23:49Speaker 03

Alright. I'll be using up sugar.

• 1:23:51Travis Kelce?

This is, this is my crap tonight. I will eat all of those.

• 1:23:55Speaker 03

So what is, are you supposed to do anything with the beignet other than like, I've never, first of all, these fucking beignets are huge. I've never seen beignets this big.

• 1:24:02Travis Kelce?

That's my kinda shit right here.

• 1:24:03Speaker 03

Are you, are you supposed to like dip them in something or just eat it?

• 1:24:08Speaker 03

Do you typically have these with coffee in the morning, like a donut? Are these good beignets?

• 1:24:13Travis Kelce?

These are fucking, these are good beignets. Ah. Dude, it's just a, it's a funnel cake in a, in a, like a.

• 1:24:22Travis Kelce?

  In a donut fashion.

• 1:24:23Speaker 03

I can get on with this.

• 1:24:24Travis Kelce?

  One more week Travis.

• 1:24:26Speaker 03

  I love funnel cakes.

• 1:24:27Travis Kelce?

One more week. Get me out of there. Get me out before it's too late.

• 1:24:31Speaker 03

Benyays are really hard for somebody with facial hair. I don't know if you can tell.

• 1:24:35Travis Kelce?

I feel like I'm wearing it.

• 1:24:37Speaker 03

  You're good.

• 1:24:38Travis Kelce?

You already have white in your beard though, so you're, it just blends.

• 1:24:40Speaker 03

It just blends in. I can't wait till my beard is fully white.

• 1:24:44Travis Kelce?

  Dude, it's almost there.

• 1:24:45Speaker 03

  It's good now.

• 1:24:46Travis Kelce?

You're gonna be Tim Allen in Santa Claus in like, a year.

• 1:24:49Speaker 03

I mean, I'll be Tim Allen in Santa Claus this year. Tim Allen, if Santa Claus dies, I'm in front yard.

• 1:24:57Travis Kelce?

If you guys caught that, that was a good one.

• 1:25:01Travis Kelce?

Dude, if you become Santa Claus, you gotta invite me to North Pole. I gotta go. Because, because if it's anything like the movie with The Rock.

• 1:25:10Speaker 03

I can't. I gotta up live, it's gonna be just me and, me and Bernard. And Kyle's gonna have to raise the kids on our own.

• 1:25:18Travis Kelce?

Out of ten, out of ten, we gotta rate it out of ten.

• 1:25:20Speaker 03

  I'm gonna put, uh.

• 1:25:21Travis Kelce?

I'm going nine out of ten. The bread was little, but it's probably just because it was baked in the morning and we're eating them now.

• 1:25:26Speaker 03

You can tell that thing freshly fried and hot.

• 1:25:33Speaker 03

Funnel cake, it's basically just a funnel cake that's susceptible to eat at any time.

• 1:25:37Travis Kelce?

  Yep.

• 1:25:37Speaker 03

Which I can get on board with New Orleans.

• 1:25:39Travis Kelce?

  I'm getting on, baby.

• 1:25:40Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:25:41Travis Kelce?

Alright, well, shout out to the Benyays.

• 1:25:43Speaker 03

Compared to sucking the backside of a crawfish head, Benyay gets a, gets eight out of ten.

• 1:25:50Travis Kelce?

  Nice.

• 1:25:51Speaker 03

  No dumb question time.

• 1:25:54Speaker 03

No dumb questions is brought to you by Mint Mobile. The smart answer to saving money on premium wireless. No dumb question. Did Travis use a DeLorean or a hot tub time machine to travel back in time? And invent the Pony Express? Alexander Major is my ass. You can't convince me that this is not Travis in a top hat.

• 1:26:15Travis Kelce?

I mean, if I'm looking at myself in the mirror, that's pretty damn good.

• 1:26:18Speaker 03

Yeah, it's pretty, it's pretty solid.

• 1:26:19Travis Kelce?

I will say that they couldn't be me because I would never be seen with that fucking hat on.

• 1:26:26Speaker 03

Travis, you need to go, this needs to be your pregame Super Bowl fit. Top hat?

• 1:26:31Travis Kelce?

I remember wearing a top hat.

• 1:26:32Speaker 03

Not too long, yeah. What'd you wear a top of the dude? I don't remember that one.

• 1:26:37Travis Kelce?

  When I was in London.

• 1:26:38Speaker 03

  Oh, I do remember that.

• 1:26:42Travis Kelce?

So I got caught in my own lie. I I enjoy wearing those. But only in front of eighty thousand people.

• 1:26:50Speaker 03

You pulled it off. Well, there's a lot more people than eighty thousand people that saw that, but that you pulled it off really well.

• 1:26:56Travis Kelce?

  Thanks.

• 1:26:58Travis Kelce?

It's always scary. Have you ever came across like a really like?

• 1:27:01Speaker 03

Travis, we are the most generic white looking people on the planet. It is so many people.

• 1:27:06Travis Kelce?

  You know what?

• 1:27:06Speaker 03

There were just twenty five of them in downtown New Orleans. And you could not pick me out of a fucking lineup.

• 1:27:13Travis Kelce?

  You're a Where's Waldo dude.

• 1:27:15Speaker 03

Dude, have you ever seen our?

• 1:27:16Travis Kelce?

Salt and pepper beard out of fucking anybody.

• 1:27:18Speaker 03

  I I look like.

• 1:27:19Travis Kelce?

I could. Yeah, I could take one, one good look at those tits and know exactly who it is.

• 1:27:24Speaker 03

I look like twelve former presidents, including Grover Cleveland, Theodore Roosevelt, and like any other ones that are white with a beard.

• 1:27:31Travis Kelce?

  I I remember Jonas Valancunas.

• 1:27:36Speaker 03

Yeah, I remember you telling me this story.

• 1:27:38Travis Kelce?

From Lithuania, getting drafted in the NBA and I was like, holy shit, I'm Lithuanian.

• 1:27:44Speaker 03

I mean, we're not far off. It's close.

• 1:27:46Travis Kelce?

I mean, dude, you can't tell me that I don't have Lithuania in my blood. Eastern Europe.

• 1:27:51Speaker 03

I mean, it's definitely in Eastern Europe, but is it northeastern or is it like Slavic area?

• 1:27:55Travis Kelce?

  It's Slavic for sure.

• 1:27:56Speaker 03

I have no idea. For some reason, I feel like it's up north. Is it by Serbia?

• 1:28:00Travis Kelce?

  No, it's not that.

• 1:28:03Speaker 03

  Yes, that's that's higher north.

• 1:28:04Travis Kelce?

  Way up there.

• 1:28:05Speaker 03

That's that's different area than where our ancestors are. I'm gonna lie, I feel like our ancestors just fucked their way across Europe. It feels like we have a little bit of everything.

• 1:28:13Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:28:14Speaker 03

Which is why we look like everybody.

• 1:28:15Travis Kelce?

  True American mutt.

• 1:28:16Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:28:17Travis Kelce?

  I guess I'll pass the.

• 1:28:18Speaker 03

Oh, we need a little bit of this over here and we have our Ashkenazi over here. Our Irish over here, our Slavic down here, our Serbian here.

• 1:28:27Travis Kelce?

We actually don't have any clue what we are on dad's side because he's the only one that did get the twenty three and me or whatever.

• 1:28:33Speaker 03

  It's true.

• 1:28:34Travis Kelce?

We gotta get that out of him.

• 1:28:36Speaker 03

He just always says he's American. I'm American.

• 1:28:41Travis Kelce?

  Didn't matter.

• 1:28:42Speaker 03

Yeah. We have ancestors in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

• 1:28:47Speaker 03

I guess that's accurate, Pop. So yeah, solid photo. What was the question there?

• 1:28:53Travis Kelce?

  There was no question.

• 1:28:54Speaker 03

Is Travis a time traveler? That was a question. Are you a time traveler?

• 1:28:57Travis Kelce?

I have some Marty McFly's, but that's about as close as I get to time traveling.

• 1:29:00Speaker 03

If you could time travel, where would you go back to?

• 1:29:04Travis Kelce?

Ooh, man, I'm trying to see some dinosaurs. I'm trying to figure out what the, how the fuck they made those pyramids.

• 1:29:11Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:29:12Travis Kelce?

  Alright.

• 1:29:13Speaker 03

If I was, if I could time travel, I'd go back to Super Bowl fifty-seven and make sure that we win that fucking game. So then I wouldn't be depressed about not having lost that game.

• 1:29:26Travis Kelce?

  Hmm.

• 1:29:28Travis Kelce?

Yeah. I really don't feel that bad about my Super Bowl.

• 1:29:36Travis Kelce?

I lost to Tom Brady. I mean.

• 1:29:38Speaker 03

Yeah, I, we won against Tom Brady. I didn't do much, but it was fun.

• 1:29:43Travis Kelce?

Alright, let's get to this next one. From Tati, I need to know the history behind this picture. On, do, do we don't, we don't know the fucking history? I play football for a living. My memory goes to like last week.

• 1:29:56Speaker 03

Strong as fuck as a baby.

• 1:29:58Travis Kelce?

  Look at that dude.

• 1:29:59Speaker 03

I'm fucking doing curls with Travis Kelce.

• 1:30:01Travis Kelce?

That's a Pro Bowl center right there.

• 1:30:02Speaker 03

  Two years younger than me.

• 1:30:03Travis Kelce?

That's a Pro Bowl center right there.

• 1:30:05Speaker 03

Probably, he's not even a year old in that photo. That means I'm not even three yet.

• 1:30:08Travis Kelce?

Look at that head of hair.

• 1:30:09Speaker 03

I'm doing curls with my offhand, peanut butter and jelly, am I right? I don't know if you saw that. I'm fucking yoked.

• 1:30:18Travis Kelce?

  Dude, dude.

• 1:30:20Speaker 03

This might be the most impressive photo of my life. Captured in two and a half years.

• 1:30:25Travis Kelce?

You gotta get that outfit, dude. That is your kinda outfit.

• 1:30:28Speaker 03

It's my outfit. Dig the socks. Got a nice bulge going.

• 1:30:37Travis Kelce?

I hate you for making me look at your balls, man.

• 1:30:45Travis Kelce?

I didn't wanna do it, man.

• 1:30:48Travis Kelce?

Alright, let me get out of this fucking thing. Thank you for the picture. You guys wanna do a voicemail? Alright, let's do one voicemail. You can just press it.

• 1:30:56Speaker 03

  Press, press, press.

• 1:30:59Speaker 06

Hi, um, my question is, we, since we know that the winning Super Bowl

• 1:31:05Speaker 06

Team gets like a big party after what happens to the losing team?

• 1:31:10Speaker 03

Fuck is so funny about that?

• 1:31:12Travis Kelce?

Why are you laughing at that?

• 1:31:13Speaker 03

  The fuck is psychopath?

• 1:31:15Travis Kelce?

Fucking did like dreams from your childhood that you built up and you you lose them. What that was harsh.

• 1:31:23Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:31:23Travis Kelce?

To answer your question, um, the losing team, they both have parties and I I the one I lost actually was covid year. So we just jumped back on the plane and went to fuck home. Uh, and I thought about jumping out the plane.

• 1:31:40Speaker 03

Yeah, it's very weird. You you so they already have the parties set up in advance. So you still have the party. It's just the saddest party I've ever been to. Picture a birthday party combined with a funeral and that's what a true bowl. Losing party feels like.

• 1:31:59Travis Kelce?

Funeral always overrides it for sure.

• 1:32:01Speaker 03

Yeah, no, it's like, well, there's like, because there's a bunch of like happiness that it's themed with. But everybody feels like somebody just died.

• 1:32:08Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:32:08Speaker 03

Kind of trying to justify what happened and oh yeah, like that was it was a fun season. You remember like we if we would have done this off, we would have done that and coaches are leaving and saying goodbyes to teammates who aren't going to be there next year. Just going on a Jeremy Shockey.

• 1:32:27Travis Kelce?

Shockey, man. I was I'm I was on a Shockey for a good two years.

• 1:32:30Speaker 03

Good thing about the shoe balls, you're going to go on a Jeremy Shockey. It's just gonna you don't know which kind of Jeremy Shockey you're going on.

• 1:32:38Travis Kelce?

  Oh, you know.

• 1:32:38Speaker 03

But if you win, you're going on a Jeremy Shockey. And if you lose, you're going on a Jeremy Shockey.

• 1:32:44Travis Kelce?

  Shout out to Jeremy.

• 1:32:47Travis Kelce?

For being the best of both worlds, man.

• 1:32:49Speaker 03

For being the Titan, the Travis Kelce looked up to.

• 1:32:51Travis Kelce?

Oh, my God, I still do. I still do, Jerry. I gotta meet you with Shockey, man. Fuck.

• 1:32:55Speaker 03

  You've never met Shockey?

• 1:32:56Travis Kelce?

Dude, he's all like literally the only one. I haven't caught him at any of the NFL.

• 1:33:00Speaker 03

  What is he doing now?

• 1:33:01Travis Kelce?

I'm pretty sure he's hanging out around Miami football. He went to the U. So I think he helps those guys out and just enjoys South Florida.

• 1:33:09Speaker 03

  It's not a bad life.

• 1:33:10Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:33:11Speaker 03

All right. That's it for No Dumb Questions brought to you by Mint Mobile.

I'm gonna be the lonely one. Oh, do you believe in love after love?

• 1:34:52Travis Kelce?

After love. Never knew his life after love until last week.

• 1:34:55Speaker 03

Feel something inside me saying, I really don't think you're strong enough. No.

• 1:35:03Travis Kelce?

  That was beautiful.
