All right, so let's talk about how this AI will predict your future success. So Neil, I was telling Neil about it, he's like, "No, no, no." And I was like, "Let's talk about it." And he's like, "Okay, let's talk about it."

• 0:42Speaker 01

I think it's a bunch of bullshit, but let's go for it.

• 0:45Speaker 00

Starting with bad language on this podcast. Starting with, okay, okay.

• 0:48Speaker 01

It's so inaccurate. I don't even know what the results were, but I'm gonna say it's inaccurate. There's no way.

• 0:53Speaker 00

So here's the interesting thing. I'm not gonna name any names right now.

• 0:59Speaker 00

I'm just gonna keep things anonymous to start.

• 1:00Speaker 01

Why you keep it anonymous? Just give the results for you and I. That's fair.

• 1:05Speaker 00

No, cuz we're talking like revenues and net worth and all that type of stuff.

• 1:10Speaker 01

There's no way Chad GPT knows my real revenue or my net worth.

• 1:16Speaker 01

Go for it. You actually just say it.

• 1:18Speaker 00

I can't, no, I'm not gonna say it.

• 1:19Speaker 01

 You can say mine.

• 1:20Speaker 00

No, I'm not gonna say it.

• 1:21Speaker 01

No, I already know. There's no way it knows cuz we don't publish all our numbers.

• 1:25Speaker 00

It says, okay, this part's accurate. Okay, so here's what it says about you, okay? So it says Neil is, okay, you're obviously well-published online. What do you wanna say?

• 1:34Speaker 01

No, just say the numbers and everything.

• 1:36Speaker 00

I'm saying it right now. Let me get to it. Let me warm up. Okay. So it says that Neil does, Neil's company does hundreds of millions a year in revenue, right? Around 100, 200 or something like that. That's what it says, okay?

• 1:48Speaker 01

 Okay.

• 1:49Speaker 00

 So, pretty good, right?

• 1:50Speaker 01

I was taking what I'm saying on podcasts.

• 1:52Speaker 00

I don't know if you're saying that. And then, then it says, Neil's playing the game at a very high level. He's delegating really well right now, and he's focused on high-leverage things such as M&A, right?

• 2:05Speaker 00

And so I said, "Okay, so what's stopping Neil from getting to like a billion?" And then how does Neil stop? Back up against this entrepreneur and this entrepreneur over here, right? And then it actually goes to the other entrepreneurs and it looks at like how they're they're they're stacked up right now. And one of those entrepreneurs, it was like meals ahead of the game right now, but might fall behind because the agency game is going to get more complicated in the next couple of years because of AI and everything, right? These are things that you know already. And so it started going into, I had to go into me, right? And so I said, I said, okay, now now look at now look at Eric, what's holding him back, right? It's like Eric's got the know how, he's got that he knows what to do strategically. The problem with him is in the past was he was too unfocused. And then I was like, okay, so what's the problem now? The problem is even though Eric's way better at focus now, he still needs to focus more.

• 2:50Speaker 00

I'm like, I tested, I was like, tell me what Eric's working on right now. Okay? And I was like, Eric's working on the LinkedIn ABM tool, Eric's working on single grain, Eric's working in marketing school and Eric's working on leveling up. That's it. And I'm like, that is it right now. There's no like all this other stuff, right? And then I had to do, this is for one of my my friends that you know, and so he doesn't have a lot of information published about him. Let's just say he was in video space, right? You know who I'm talking about.

• 3:15Speaker 01

 Doesn't matter, continue.

• 3:16Speaker 00

Okay, so so he's been working at this company for a very long time, past 10 years. And I was like, I've been telling him to quit that job for a very long time. I was like, what do you think is stopping this company right now? It's like they're not innovating, they're not new, you know, their their CEO has kind of been out of the picture. There's like no vision for, which is exactly what I've been saying the last 10 years, right? I was like, okay, now ask it this question, say, what's the brutal truth? What is stopping me, my friend, from making a million dollars a year? It's like you're too, you're too.

• 3:42Speaker 01

 A million?

• 3:43Speaker 00

Yeah, a million. I just went extreme. I said, making a million dollars a year.

• 3:46Speaker 01

 A million?

• 3:46Speaker 00

A million dollars a year, yeah.

• 3:48Speaker 01

You already do more than a million in revenue.

• 3:49Speaker 00

 I'm saying for my friend.

• 3:50Speaker 01

 Oh, okay.

• 3:51Speaker 00

Yeah, okay. So for my friend, it was like, oh, one, he's working for the wrong, he's betting on the wrong horse. He's betting all his chips on the wrong company, like he could, he could, he could be the number, like he has vision for this thing, but it's not him right now. He also has this other thing that he works on the side. He's too unfocused, he needs to bet all in on himself to make a million dollars a year, right? And the thing is, he has no published content online, there's nothing. So how does he even know all this stuff, right? So I'm just saying, this stuff's getting closer and closer.

• 4:19Speaker 01

It has to be from published content. It cannot make this stuff up. It's taking everything that is learned from the web and people talking about an organization or a company or individual.

• 4:28Speaker 00

Perhaps, but he doesn't really post to social. All he posts are like his exercise videos or whatever, like that's it.

• 4:33Speaker 01

Yeah, but some of it is generic too.

• 4:35Speaker 00

Yeah, it is generic, but this is pretty decent for what it is. You have to admit that. Come on, you thought it was more BS when I before I told you.

• 4:41Speaker 01

No, I still think it is. How do they say?

• 4:43Speaker 00

Hey Brad, do you think this is BS?

• 4:47Speaker 01

 Yeah.

• 4:48Speaker 00

 You're generic.

• 4:49Speaker 01

So Brad and I are on the same page here. But when you ask Chad GPT, what does Neil need to do to get to a billion? What did it tell you?

• 4:56Speaker 00

I'll tell you what it said for our other mutual friend, okay?

• 4:59Speaker 01

But why not just tell me?

• 5:00Speaker 00

Cause I got bored when it kept saying about, cause these things I already know about you. So I actually researched more with my other friend and I messaged him in the morning. So we started going back and forth 5:30, right? This is our, our, our mutual friend. You know, they raised money, a good, like, uh, we talked about him. They raised like a couple hundred million bucks last couple of years. And they do a couple hundred million in, in ARR right now. Um, I'm assuming you're texting me.

• 5:20Speaker 01

No, I'm just asking Chad GPT, what does Neil Patel need to do to make a billion dollars a year?

• 5:24Speaker 00

No, you have to say, what's the brutal on, the brutal truth behind what's holding Neil back from making a billion a year?

• 5:30Speaker 01

What's the brutal, honest truth? What, what was it? What's the brutal honest truth?

• 5:36Speaker 00

What's the brutal truth about, like, what's holding back from Neil doing a billion a year in revenue? Be brutal.

• 5:43Speaker 01

Okay, what's the brutal, honest truth?

• 5:47Speaker 01

 That's holding Neil Patel

• 5:52Speaker 01

from making a billion dollars a year? All right, let's see.

• 6:00Speaker 01

 It's searching the web.

• 6:01Speaker 00

Okay, now let me go first. Don't read it. Don't, hey, just look, look up first. Don't read it first. Let me, let me, let me, let me give you the story and then you can read yours. Okay, don't look at it yet. Don't look at it yet.

• 6:09Speaker 01

 Already did, isn't it?

• 6:11Speaker 00

Look over there. Okay, so my, our mutual friend? Oh my God, he's actually looking at it. He can't help it.

• 6:16Speaker 01

Oh, I don't know. It's just a video of me at the very end.

• 6:18Speaker 00

Oh, okay. What does it say? You can't hear, eyes are so odd that I just, I'm just like, okay, just look at it.

• 6:25Speaker 01

Neil Patel's a prominent future figure in digital marketing has estimated net worth of $30 million. While this is a substantial sum, it falls short of the billion dollar mark. Several factors contribute to this gap. Business model and revenue streams, Neil's ventures, yeah, I got that right.

• 6:45Speaker 01

Vast market share, challenging fee, it's saying I'm in a competitive space.

• 6:51Speaker 01

There's numerous players offering the same amount, so it takes a lot of money.

• 6:58Speaker 01

And it's saying because I spend a lot monthly personally, saying I spend $200,000 monthly. This is limiting my profitability and scale to a billion dollars because I'm spending a lot personally instead of reinvesting as much.

• 7:12Speaker 01

I'm in a saturated market and the economy and downturns is what's hurting me as well.

• 7:18Speaker 00

So here's what it said about our mutual friend. Are you ready?

• 7:21Speaker 01

 Yes.

• 7:22Speaker 00

So, and he, so we talked about this tomorrow, I was like, hey, how, how, how true do you think this is? So basically it's like this company that's doing a couple hundred million dollars a year. The thing that's preventing them from getting to a billion, one, it's super competitive. Two, the space is becoming, it's, it's going to be very commoditized by AI. And then three, there's no differentiator, like their other players are so much well more capitalized and they're just so much bigger at this point. They need to find something to really differentiate themselves. And one big thing it said, I said, what does our friend need to do as one of the executives? What, what, what is he doing that's holding the company back? And it said this, it said, the thing that holds this company back because of your friend is because he's a world-class person that lead generation. It's no longer just a lead generation game. And so I sent this all to him, right? I said, what do you think about all this?

• 8:06Speaker 00

He's like, yeah, everything it says is, is true. I'm like, but like, seriously, how true, how true is it, right? He's like, I'd say like 90% of it is true. So it's weird because you asked it a question. I got a way more, I tried it in a different prompt and I got something generic like yours. Here, this one's like, for whatever reason, this one's way more intense. Like this one chat I'm doing with it right now that has you in it, that has our mutual friend in it, that has my other friend in it, that has me in it.

• 8:32Speaker 01

I just know the results that it told me on how to hit a billion dollars is kind of useless and didn't tell me anything.

• 8:38Speaker 00

And here's what it said, here's what it said about.

• 8:42Speaker 00

 We're not talking about you.

• 8:43Speaker 01

You agree, generic, right? This is like useless advice. I'm like, dude, we got a bigger problem, everyone. We need to do an intervention with Eric on the amount of time he spends with ChatGPT on useless stuff.

• 8:54Speaker 00

 What are you talking about?

• 8:56Speaker 01

Instead of focusing on his business.

• 8:56Speaker 00

 This is fun.

• 8:57Speaker 01

Do you agree with this, Brad? He should have spent the time working?

• 9:00Speaker 00

You can't agree with that, that's fun. Hey, hey, hey, that's fun.

• 9:02Speaker 01

 Okay, number one reason.

• 9:04Speaker 00

 You can't disagree with that.

• 9:05Speaker 01

Is using, wasting your time on something that doesn't actually grow your business.

• 9:09Speaker 00

 Hey, hey.

• 9:10Speaker 01

Instead of focusing on execution and focus.

• 9:13Speaker 00

Hey, hey, what's the, hey, what, what's, what's one thing you looked at? What's one thing you watched this week on TV?

• 9:20Speaker 01

I mainly just watch CNBC, that's the thing I watched the whole week.

• 9:23Speaker 00

 That, you know, that's BS.

• 9:25Speaker 01

 No, seriously.

• 9:26Speaker 00

 That's BS.

• 9:27Speaker 01

I haven't watched any shows or movies yet.

• 9:29Speaker 00

 Not with your kids?

• 9:30Speaker 01

Or by myself, neither. My kids don't watch TV.

• 9:33Speaker 00

You watch movies when you're doing stuff.

• 9:34Speaker 01

I watch CNBC while I work.

• 9:36Speaker 00

Oh my God, look, see, he, he changes the answer.

• 9:38Speaker 01

No, no, I do watch movies. There's just nothing new on that I want to watch.

• 9:42Speaker 00

Okay, so let me tell you the, the business advice it gave me. This is actually interesting. There's, here's where I thought it was interesting from last week, and then we can move on from this, guys. I just, I think this is a fun exercise. So, remember last week, we did an episode? And we were talking about there's single grain and there's carrot. And you were kind of pushing towards the fact that, hey, like, you think the carrot opportunity is really big, but you think the single grain thing is a distraction, yes?

• 10:03Speaker 01

Yeah, I'm the one who told you, you need to consider where you need to focus.

• 10:07Speaker 00

So you would consider that useful information?

• 10:09Speaker 01

No, but it wasn't rocket science. This is like anything anyone could have figured out.

• 10:14Speaker 00

And would you have figured that out?

• 10:18Speaker 00

No, you wouldn't have, come on, you're not like, you don't know, you're not an operator.

• 10:24Speaker 01

He, he doesn't know the context as much as the business, but he's entrepreneur, I think you gotta figure it out.

• 10:28Speaker 00

So, here's what I'm saying, and that wasn't, that wasn't shade towards you. Um, it basically said, you need to do everything right now. And you need to do everything in your power right now to get single grain off. Everything in your power, and I'm like, what do you mean, right? Um, and by the way, I'm not saying this is gospel, guys, I'm just, I'm, this is, this is partly fun too. But it's like, you need to go hire a CEO, but before you can even do that, you need a real chief of staff. And I'm like, what do you mean by that? It's like a chief of staff that's actually a ruthless enforcer, that's actually been there, done that, that actually pushes everyone to the, like, to, to, to make sure that you don't just have a bunch of half-built bridges that force things through. I'm like, why can't I just hire a CEO right now?

• 11:07Speaker 01

We already have a chief of staff.

• 11:10Speaker 00

It knows about my Chief of Staff and we're actually moving her over to focus more on marketing because she's not that experienced one. This one's like you need, you need like five plus years in the Chief of Staff, like a real enforcer. And you and I both know like actual like long-term Chiefs of Staff, right? They're very different.

• 11:24Speaker 01

Yeah, you don't need a Chief of Staff for senior, and you just need a CEO or CRO.

• 11:28Speaker 00

So here's what it said. It said, "The Chief of Staff is 10 out of 10." I'm like, "But I would argue that the CEO is number one, right?" And it said, "The CEO is nine out of 10." I'm like, "Why is that?" It's like, because the CEO, you have a lot of stuff to clean up right now in these next three to six months or so, that if you give it to the CEO, there's just all this stuff to clean up versus having this Chief of Staff come in, establish a relationship there, clean it all up, and once they come in, you just hand it off, right?

• 11:50Speaker 01

That's wrong. You want to tell you why?

• 11:52Speaker 00

I don't think there's a right and wrong here. I think, I'm just like, this is, I think this is interesting to me. So, but tell the audience why you think it's wrong.

• 12:01Speaker 01

You're always gonna have messes in your organization, and as you grow, there's always gonna be new problems, new messes to clean up, and new ways to adapt. If a CEO can't come in, fix things, and grow it, they're not the right fit.

• 12:14Speaker 00

Yeah, so I see where you're coming from. And guys, that's a different, that's different from the ChatGPT. You can, you can look at this any way, right? But I think what is helpful in this context is you have a thought partner that isn't necessarily right all the time, because it's missing a ton of context, right? But at least you have a thought partner to work with. And that's why I think it's interesting. I don't think this is gospel, but I think the fact that we're still just two years into ChatGPT coming out, I think this is just gonna get a lot more interesting.

• 12:39Speaker 01

Totally agree. If the premise of this was that it's getting interesting, I agree with you. But when you came in here and we started, you were just like, "Dude, it's so amazing." I'm like, "This is not amazing."

• 12:48Speaker 00

Yeah, it's amazing because it's where it's going. So when I look at it, it's not like where it's at right now. I think that the problem is, just for everyone to know, Neil's very pessimistic generally about the future. I'm very optimistic. And so the way I talk about it, the way Neil talks about it, it's very different. And so it's usually, there's usually at odds there. But you pick the next one.

• 13:05Speaker 01

Yeah. I'm curious on this next topic. ChatGPT strategically shifted your business this week. What do you mean by that?

• 13:12Speaker 00

Well, we talked about it earlier. So I, some of the hires that we prioritize, it's helped me think about rejiggering some of the hires. So earlier, we talked about the Chief of Staff, the CEO, we debated on that one. But there's also other hires that I've looked at as well.

• 13:25Speaker 01

Well, let's actually go back on this, okay? Because you're pretty open, and you mentioned your Chief of Staff is moving into a marketing role. Use, it sounds like you use ChatGPT to help you with this.

• 13:37Speaker 00

No, I was already, I mean, yeah, technically you could say that, but I've been thinking about this for a while.

• 13:42Speaker 01

So how are you using ChatGPT to help you strategically make decisions? Let's use that as an example, like what's the framework? What are some of the prompts that you're typing in? What's going through your mind? How are you communicating with ChatGPT to actually have it help you make business decisions?

• 13:57Speaker 00

Yeah, so I use a combination of ChatGPT and some of these other LLMs. So one thing that's easy is I'll take all my financials and then dump it into Claude, for example. And then from there, I'll say, hey, you're my CFO. You know, what do you think about how things are trending? How does this compare to the industry? I'm thinking about making these moves over here. What do you think about these moves? What are the potential pitfalls with how I'm doing things here? And then what are, what's the potential upside, right? So I look for like, you know, best, worst, and like the base case scenarios. And it does help me, because I talk fast, because I move fast, it helps me slow down and think about these. And then because it asked me these questions, I start to explore into other areas.

• 14:35Speaker 01

What's the type of questions I would ask you? So let's use the example of you upload your financials, you're asking how you're trending. And what, I'm assuming it's just responding with you're growing, you're declining, you're flat.

• 14:49Speaker 00

I'll give you an, I'll give you an M and A example. So there's a company I was looking at, which we talked about a couple of weeks ago. And I said, okay, this looks like it's a, it's a falling knife, right? You and I would like not do this deal typically because it's going to be work no matter what. So I'm like, look, this could be interesting. It's going to be a lot of work, but I see the upsides with, oh, this company has a CEO with it. But this company has declined last three, three years. How should I structure this thing if I don't want to put any cash down? And then it started breaking down different structures. And then I started picking the structures that I liked, the terms that I liked. And then we kept restructuring more and more. That's one example. Listen to Frictionless Growth Marketing wherever you get your podcasts. Another one is, um, I told you I was gonna bring you this book, Thinking in Systems, and like this whole like reservoir and all that stuff, right? Like how everything in your business is a system, like your body is a system, right? And I said, okay, I want you to break down in a chart, here's my, here's all my financials, here's my P and L.

• 16:17Speaker 00

Here's how my org chart is structured. Show me, I want you to create something that shows me all the systems I have in my business, the flows and the, the inflows and the outflows, and what parts are the bottlenecks right now? Mark those in red, color those in red where the bottlenecks are, and then yellow might be like a risky point. And the things that are good are, mark them in green. And then, so it diagrammed this all for me, and so I could look at it from a high level. And then, I was like, what do you think is really wrong with this business right now? It's like, one of the biggest problems you have is like, and they basically called me stupid. So it was like, how is it that you're so good at marketing? And then you have like an internal marketing team, but then you have your client services team, and you guys aren't sharing information with each other? Like, the, you guys do this well, right? Like, whatever client wins you have, it goes into marketing, they market it.

• 17:00Speaker 00

And whatever things you do well, I think, for internal marketing,

• 17:03Speaker 01

 Correct.

• 17:03Speaker 00

You will also push it to, because you're testing things, it will move over into the client services side, right? And so it showed that, not in red, it showed it as like a dotted, a dotted red. It like drew it out for me like that. So that helps me think, because you don't like waiting, I don't like waiting. And so, once I have that done, maybe you go to your CFO the next day, you say, hey, I did this, what do you think about this? And then, you can have them do what you want them to do.

• 17:28Speaker 01

Yeah. No, that's really cool. You're, you're using it like, um...

• 17:34Speaker 01

Sophisticated, or you're using it like a mentor or a coach. Or like encyclopedia, but for business and it's picking up all the stuff that's in the past that's worked for others or hasn't worked. And it's just analyzing and giving you feedback based on that.

• 17:49Speaker 00

You know, you know, deep research came out this week with chat GPT. It's it's better than Google's version. You've tried it, I'm assuming.

• 17:54Speaker 01

 I have not tried it.

• 17:55Speaker 00

So to me, um, it's like, it's still the $200 version. I think they'll have it for the $20 version. But what chat GPT deep research does is like, okay, I run this company, MP Digital. I want you to tell me all the risks from an AI standpoint, the growth standpoint, all these things. Here are my competitors over here. It took 18 minutes to think and it gave me a 15,000 word document. This is stuff you pay thousands or tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands to McKinsey or Bain for. That's now in your pocket.

• 18:20Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah. So. No, it's great. I need to use it sometime this week. I just haven't had time.

• 18:25Speaker 00

You lie. I'm gonna ask you next week.

• 18:27Speaker 01

 I should.

• 18:28Speaker 00

I actually, I actually believe you use this.

• 18:29Speaker 01

My kid this week got sick. And then I had a lump on my head that I've just been getting, I don't sleep. I'm sleeping like two, three hours a day for max.

• 18:38Speaker 00

 Why?

• 18:39Speaker 01

Cause the lump on my head is putting pressure every time I sleep.

• 18:41Speaker 00

 What is it?

• 18:43Speaker 01

It's nothing crazy. They just, they don't know what it is.

• 18:45Speaker 00

You take a picture and ask chat GPT?

• 18:47Speaker 01

Oh, no, I've done MRIs and everything.

• 18:48Speaker 00

 Okay.

• 18:49Speaker 01

But they're just like, we'll try experiments next week. And I was like, okay.

• 18:52Speaker 00

 Is it still there?

• 18:54Speaker 01

 Yeah, it's still there.

• 18:54Speaker 00

 Where?

• 18:55Speaker 01

It's in the very back middle.

• 18:57Speaker 00

 The heck? Okay.

• 18:59Speaker 01

But either way, I'm like, I just have not been working well because I have a 24/7 headache that won't go away.

• 19:06Speaker 01

What can you do? It's life.

• 19:09Speaker 00

There's actually another AI that there, there's a health AI that uh looks into all the medical papers.

• 19:14Speaker 01

 Yeah.

• 19:15Speaker 00

Did I tell you about that one?

• 19:15Speaker 01

 No.

• 19:16Speaker 00

I'll send it to you after.

• 19:17Speaker 01

Worst case, I'm gonna tell them, cut it off and I have a mass subscribe. I don't care.

• 19:20Speaker 00

But you did MRI and everything. Oh, we'll talk about it after.

• 19:22Speaker 01

 Yeah.

• 19:24Speaker 01

But uh, but no, next week I'll end up testing it out.

• 19:26Speaker 00

 Okay.

• 19:27Speaker 01

But uh, my favorite topic out of your whole list, and I saw this before and you actually highlighted it is, these are Eric's words, by the way. I'm just reading what he put in a sheet. It says, enterprise lead came in while taking a dump. I'm assuming this is Eric going to the bathroom.

• 19:44Speaker 00

Let me explain. Okay. Let me tell you how I got, let me tell you how this enterprise lead came in while taking a dump. So we're on a call and this is a call for a carrot.

• 19:54Speaker 01

But you're on a call while you're taking a dump?

• 19:56Speaker 00

Let, let me finish. Let me finish. Okay. So we're on a call and then uh, I asked the prospect, I was like, hey, so how did you hear about us? And you remember when we both did that talk in Germany at This is Marketing?

• 20:08Speaker 01

 Yeah.

• 20:08Speaker 00

So that video is actually doing pretty well right now. I just reposted it to leveling up and it's got like 60,000 views or whatever. And so I just asked him, I was like, this is the lead. So at this point, I'm not on the toilet. It's not me. So I asked the lead, I was like, so how did you hear about it? He's like, well, I was watching your YouTube video. And it was like, I was taking a dump while watching your YouTube video. I was like, oh, I didn't need that detail, but like, it just goes to show you the power of YouTube, man. It's really there for the next decade because a lot of mid-market enterprise leads came through that. And he's like, yeah, I really, I really resonated with what you said. I was like, yeah, while you're taking a dump, but uh, yeah.

• 20:46Speaker 01

I hope that person closed his toilet lid before he flushed.

• 20:49Speaker 00

Well, I'll tell you, I don't know about closing the toilet lid, but they closed, so.

• 20:55Speaker 01

Yeah. I literally showed a video to my daughter last night. She's like, daddy, why do we have to keep closing our toilet lids every time we flush? And I'm like, let me show you a YouTube video on why. And she's just like, oh.

• 21:11Speaker 00

 Because the particles like.

• 21:12Speaker 01

Particles, like, this is why we always close our toilet seat. She's like, oh, now I understand because for years I've been forcing her. It's like, I don't want to keep closing my toilet.

• 21:20Speaker 00

But the thing is, once you flush, okay, this is good marketing with data, right? Because I think they show you the particles, they color the particles in neon. So you see it floating everywhere. But the thing is, okay, you take a dump, but like, you flush and it goes everywhere. So do you like, close it then flush? Like, what, like, you know what I mean? Some people, because some people, they don't do that.

• 21:42Speaker 01

 I just keep it shut.

• 21:44Speaker 00

That's the best way, but some people don't do that. So I'm like, it defeats the purpose. Like, I used to not do that in the beginning. And so I close it, right?

• 21:51Speaker 01

And then you open it back up.

• 21:54Speaker 00

The purpose, yeah. So like, I've always just wondered. So anyway, that's a side note because we're talking about taking a dump.

• 21:59Speaker 01

Yes, and even if you're not cautious, depending on the country you live in, I don't mean this in a bad way. I learned this from myself. I was traveling abroad into India. I'm Indian, by the way, if anyone wants to know. Whether this is true or not, people are like, I was in a city where it was one of the worst air qualities literally in the world. And they're just like, yeah, just being out here, they're just like, it's like. It's cigarettes. No, like bathroom particles and everything like that, like, uh, where is it? Um, in India, when you breathe, is it? Uh, uh.

• 22:41Speaker 01

Here, let's see, I'm asking chat GPT. Yes, air in India can contain particles from feces as well as other.

• 22:47Speaker 00

 That's everywhere though.

• 22:48Speaker 01

I know, but in some places like India. And it's a great country. Again, you know, I'm Indian descent. I remember I was in a restaurant and it was so hard for me to breathe in the restaurant because the doors were open. They were laughing at me and they're like, you, you American has weak lungs and those are like 18 people on the table. There's, I'm like, can you guys close the door, the window? Like, it's so hard to breathe.

• 23:11Speaker 00

Yeah, that's funny. Did you, by the way, I was talking to, um, two of my team members yesterday at lunch and have you seen that Netflix show? Um, Brad, have you seen it? American factory?

• 23:20Speaker 01

 No, what is it?

• 23:21Speaker 00

All right. So you'll like this. So this is, I actually haven't seen it yet, but they're talking about it and they're like, so American factory is where this Chinese family buys a factory in the US. And tries to make them work in a Chinese way. So they, it ends up not working well. And so they end up hiring a bunch of Chinese workers instead and, um, and then they have a behind the scenes where they show like, um, how to train them up in China, right? And so in China, they're like, okay, the best way to work with Americans is make sure that you compliment them a lot. They need a lot of compliments, right? Um, and then basically like the, the Chinese are like working like 24/7. And, um, they, they basically found that their way of like their hard way was, was not working.

• 24:00Speaker 00

And then what happened was, um, the American factory that they bought tried to unionize and the Chinese people immediately shut that thing down. So it was, uh, it's interesting. So Neil, who's not even listening the whole time, you would actually enjoy this show. See? And then my team was like, dude, we should have American factory playing like all over the office, right? Like on TV screens everywhere. And then even if you're like taking a piss, it's like still, it's just like hardcore like that. So yeah, sorry guys, we're talking about bathroom in, in this episode, but yeah.

• 24:29Speaker 01

Dude, just put an iPad in there and it can be called an eye poop.

• 24:31Speaker 00

Eye poop? Yeah, yeah. You probably never want to touch it though.

• 24:34Speaker 01

 No.

• 24:35Speaker 00

Yeah, yeah. All right, guys. That is it for today. Please don't forget to rate, view, subscribe. Go to marketingschool.io/agency if you want to grow your agency faster. And we'll see you tomorrow.
