This is like my dream. I've always wanted to move out of America. I'm like really happy about my move.

• 1:06Caleb Hammer?

Okay, are there any logical reasons why?

• 1:08Speaker 03

  Because America sucks.

• 1:09Caleb Hammer?

  America sucks?

• 1:10Speaker 03

I feel like it was good financially. I'm not like, just like one of those white people moving because it's cheaper. I mean, I did move because it's cheaper.

• 1:15Caleb Hammer?

Good financially? I mean, I have a payday law in front of me. Wait, you beat your ex?

• 1:19Speaker 03

I [bleep] stopped her because she made out with someone in front of me.

Hello, I'm Sarah with an H. I'm 24 from Tecate, Mexico, and this is Financial Audit.

• 1:54Caleb Hammer?

  Those things would suffocate me.

• 1:56Speaker 03

  What?

• 1:56Caleb Hammer?

What? What do you do for a living in, in, uh, Tecate?

• 2:02Speaker 03

  Tecate.

• 2:03Caleb Hammer?

  Tecate, Mexico.

• 2:05Speaker 03

  Um, so I-

• 2:05Caleb Hammer?

  Mexico.

• 2:06Speaker 03

  Yes, Mexico, Caleb.

• 2:08Caleb Hammer?

  You don't have an accent.

• 2:10Speaker 03

No, I just moved there two months ago.

• 2:11Caleb Hammer?

That is rare for a Mexican to not have an accent.

• 2:15Speaker 03

  I'm white, Caleb.

• 2:16Caleb Hammer?

Well, these days I don't want to assume. Based on color.

• 2:20Speaker 03

  Um, I work-

• 2:21Caleb Hammer?

You could very much be black, according to TikTok, so I like, I don't even know.

• 2:25Speaker 03

Um, I work in San Diego, actually, so if you know where Tijuana is-

• 2:28Caleb Hammer?

So it's across the border, okay.

• 2:30Speaker 03

Yeah, so it's like, Tijuana's here, and then Tecate's over here, so it's like inland.

• 2:35Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so you just go further to the east.

• 2:37Speaker 03

I drive, I cross into Tecate and I drive like through the mountains and then boom, San Diego.

• 2:42Caleb Hammer?

  Daily?

• 2:43Speaker 03

No, sometimes, it depends, like five times a week.

• 2:46Caleb Hammer?

What's your job in San Diego?

• 2:46Speaker 03

I am a design consultant, I sell like closets and stuff.

• 2:50Caleb Hammer?

You know they hate people like you, right?

• 2:52Speaker 03

  Why?

• 2:52Caleb Hammer?

Because you earn a higher income in the United States than you go to a lower income.

• 2:56Speaker 03

  I didn't move there.

• 2:57Caleb Hammer?

  You are a colonizer.

• 2:59Speaker 03

Okay, but I moved there with my girlfriend. My girlfriend is Mexican and she lives there and didn't want to come to America, because America, I'm sorry, I swear.

• 3:06Caleb Hammer?

They usually like to come to America, that's kind of the thing.

• 3:09Speaker 03

I'm using her for papers, actually, so, we're gonna get-

• 3:13Caleb Hammer?

Does the cartel know about this?

• 3:15Speaker 03

  No.

• 3:15Caleb Hammer?

  Are they okay with it?

• 3:16Speaker 03

Well, I'm sure they'll be fine, like, I mean, I love her, we're in a relationship, but I'm gonna get papers.

• 3:21Caleb Hammer?

  I think.

• 3:24Caleb Hammer?

  Sometimes.

• 3:24Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 3:25Caleb Hammer?

White girls with money, but I don't think you have money.

• 3:27Speaker 03

  Clearly not, because I'm here.

• 3:29Caleb Hammer?

I literally have a payday loan right in front of me, like beneath my nose.

• 3:33Speaker 03

  I'm so sorry.

• 3:34Caleb Hammer?

So I guess you're our first international guest?

• 3:38Speaker 03

  Am I?

• 3:40Caleb Hammer?

Oh, wow, okay, you're a creature, that's interesting.

• 3:43Speaker 03

  Thank you.

• 3:44Caleb Hammer?

You're, you're, you're an interesting one, so you did the, you pulled the, the, the good old reverse card on immigration?

• 3:51Speaker 03

  Yes, I did.

• 3:52Caleb Hammer?

Okay, it's a rare one, listen, some white people, remote incomes, high incomes are liking to go to Mexico City, that's a very common thing that we're seeing these days, and people in Mexico City, especially the more native-borns, are necessarily super thrilled with it, it's very interesting how-

• 4:11Caleb Hammer?

They're allowed to be upset at it.

• 4:13Speaker 03

  What?

• 4:14Caleb Hammer?

  What?

• 4:14Speaker 03

  Not follow that, but.

• 4:16Caleb Hammer?

  That's okay.

• 4:17Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 4:17Caleb Hammer?

  It's okay.

• 4:18Speaker 03

  It's a lot of words.

• 4:18Caleb Hammer?

Listen, people move everywhere and I'm okay with it, but it's just.

• 4:21Speaker 03

But I'm not like, just like one of those white people moving because it's cheaper. I mean, I did move because it's cheaper, but my girlfriend lives there and she didn't want to come to America.

• 4:28Caleb Hammer?

Also didn't want to live here. To America?

• 4:30Speaker 03

Well, she has a visa. I mean, she's here. She has a visa, but she doesn't have a green card and she doesn't want to get dual citizenship. But I've always wanted, because America sucks and she doesn't like America, just like me.

• 4:40Caleb Hammer?

  America sucks.

• 4:41Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 4:42Caleb Hammer?

Okay, that's why everyone tries to move here. That's interesting. Why does America suck?

• 4:45Speaker 03

Um, well, one, we're gay. So like, everything that's going on with like.

• 4:49Caleb Hammer?

  America's very gay.

• 4:52Speaker 03

It's not, it's not heading that direction, Caleb.

• 4:54Caleb Hammer?

  Very gay?

• 4:55Speaker 03

Well, like in, with gay like being okay, like we're kind of going more into like laws that especially like against the trans community. And then also, no, but I mean, it's a part of our community, the LGBTQ community. We have to remember the trans people too.

• 5:09Caleb Hammer?

No, sure, but it's not really go at anti-gay. Things have only gone better for gay.

• 5:14Speaker 03

It's getting close to being overturned, so.

• 5:16Caleb Hammer?

Typically, even with trans things, despite what rhetoric you might see, because the grass is always greener. Typically, the United States is on the forefront of progressive values.

• 5:25Speaker 03

  I don't know about that.

• 5:27Caleb Hammer?

European countries that banned beta blockers and other surgeries and anything for people under age, where you can still get that in the United States, state to state. Where we tend to be on the more progressive, hey, do whatever you want side of things.

• 5:39Speaker 03

  Moving to Europe.

• 5:41Caleb Hammer?

  Well, exactly. I'm just saying.

• 5:42Speaker 03

Getting more progressive, whereas we're kind of going back.

• 5:45Caleb Hammer?

And how, how, how does very traditionally Catholic Mexico think of trans people?

• 5:51Speaker 03

Well, even though like, sometimes there are people that have religious views, they're not like quite, like here we have the conservatives, which since they're more prominent, I feel like they're kind of ruining America.

• 6:03Caleb Hammer?

Well, they won the last election.

• 6:04Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 6:05Caleb Hammer?

Will they win the midterms? Typically not. People that usually are the sitting majority don't usually win in the midterms. But either way, even, uh, uh, Republicans tend to not really have issue with gay people these days. Trans, very hot topic, for sure.

• 6:21Speaker 03

Like, a lot of the Republicans do have a problem with gay people, but in Mexico, like, I feel more safe, like, being gay, holding hands with my girlfriend, even in like, a small town.

• 6:29Caleb Hammer?

Well, gangs not kill you for being gay in Mexico?

• 6:31Speaker 03

  No.

• 6:32Caleb Hammer?

  Really?

• 6:33Speaker 03

No, absolutely not. A hundred percent, no. Gangs are not against people being gay. The whole, like, thing with, like, the cartel, you're only gonna end up in deep shit with them if you go looking for deep shit. So if you're an idiot, yeah, but if you're not stupid, you're not gonna get killed. I don't know, I feel safe.

• 6:48Caleb Hammer?

You know, usually where I hear, like, you can get killed, typically isn't a street.

• 6:54Speaker 03

Killed here for being gay, Caleb, so.

• 6:57Caleb Hammer?

And how often does that happen?

• 6:59Speaker 03

  Happens often.

• 7:00Caleb Hammer?

Very often? Please, tell me. Give me a recent case.

• 7:03Speaker 03

Um, well, there's the Sam Nordiquis that happened in the last year, and then there was also a trans woman who was killed recently here, but I haven't done, like, a bunch of research. I just saw it on TikTok.

• 7:13Caleb Hammer?

So she killed for being trans, or was she killed because people die? People do die.

• 7:16Speaker 03

Well, Sam Nordiquis, I don't know a lot about her story, but Sam Nordiquis, he was killed for being trans.

• 7:21Caleb Hammer?

Gallup, May 2025, uh, just under 70% in the United States support gay marriage, uh, Mexico, just about 60%.

• 7:30Speaker 03

Well, I don't know, I feel safer in Mexico.

• 7:33Caleb Hammer?

  Feel?

• 7:33Speaker 03

And, yeah, I mean, I've never had an issue, and I've had, like, a lot of people be homophobic here in America, and I come from, like, a Christian conservative family, so.

• 7:42Caleb Hammer?

Well, maybe it's that and not the country.

• 7:44Speaker 03

But also, like, I don't know, I would never raise kids in America, and I've never wanted to, like, live here permanently, so I'm very excited to be starting my life in Mexico.

• 7:51Caleb Hammer?

Well, I'm okay with you moving somewhere, and I'm okay with you moving to Mexico, I'm okay with you moving literally wherever you want to move to, but when our logic is very flawed on the reason why, and when we're about to get completely because of our flawed logic to rush into something that might not be good.

• 8:06Speaker 03

This was the best financial decision, and you're gonna see that. Moving to Mexico is a really good financial.

• 8:10Caleb Hammer?

You're not full move, you're still work-based here, as in, you can get garnish wages here, still pay taxes here, there's a lot of things here, and you might move back for whatever who-knows-why reasons.

• 8:20Speaker 03

  For right now?

• 8:21Caleb Hammer?

So it's not like you can just abandon and flee, because you're not, you're still there constantly.

• 8:26Speaker 03

But my rent, like, my rent is what I'm talking about, like, the difference in rent was, like, like, now I can put all that money I was paying towards rent towards my debt. I just moved, so it's like, so I'm here so that you can help me with all my extra money I'm gonna have.

• 8:40Caleb Hammer?

Mm-hmm, so. Murder rate in the United States, 6.8% per 100,000 people, 25 per 100,000 in Mexico. Trans homicides through monitoring projects with trans community advocates for trans people. Forty-one reported killings in the United States in 2024, where Mexico is among the highest burdened countries globally for trans violence with 70 people being murdered on an annual basis on average. And in Mexico alone, at least 353 LGBTQ plus people were murdered within a few years in around the COVID era. And in the United States, substantially less.

• 9:23Caleb Hammer?

Let's see. In the United States, it's not even like a full on metric that is being pulled straight up on that. But Mexico is one of the most dangerous places outside of the Middle East for gay people.

• 9:34Speaker 03

  It's legal. So.

• 9:35Caleb Hammer?

  Huh?

• 9:36Speaker 03

It's legal to be gay there. It's not in the Middle East.

• 9:38Caleb Hammer?

It's legal to be gay here.

• 9:40Speaker 03

Well, yeah, but I'm just saying.

• 9:41Caleb Hammer?

Listen, I don't care about you moving. That's fine. We can move. But then the logic is completely flawed and the data is completely against it. Like, it is more dangerous to be trans there. Well, your feelings are incorrect. Like, it doesn't matter. Just because, okay, well, you're probably doom scrolling on TikTok. And if that's where you get your feelings with the environment is around you, you are living in a flawed reality.

• 10:03Speaker 03

My reason why I feel safer isn't from like TikTok. It's from like.

• 10:07Caleb Hammer?

But every statistic says gay people, trans people and people are more at risk there. Violence, hate crimes.

• 10:16Speaker 03

Well, I mean, I think it's fine. My mom was really worried about me getting murdered when I moved.

• 10:20Caleb Hammer?

  I wonder why.

• 10:23Speaker 03

She was really stressed. But I mean, I haven't been murdered yet. So I think it's fine.

• 10:26Caleb Hammer?

Yeah. You've been there two months?

• 10:28Speaker 03

Almost three. I think I paid rent twice.

• 10:30Caleb Hammer?

You're getting, you're getting there. You're, you're on your way to that murder.

• 10:36Caleb Hammer?

Just don't, your, your logic is flawed. If it's from Mexico City, stretching income, beautiful place, I get it, but you're going to Tecate.

• 10:44Speaker 00

• 11:14Speaker 03

Well, yeah, cuz I can still work in San Diego. That was, I wanted.

• 11:17Caleb Hammer?

Is it a remote job? Cuz you say you don't go daily. So how does this work?

• 11:20Speaker 03

So I, oh, also, I'm commission only. Fun, fun stuff.

• 11:25Caleb Hammer?

  So fun.

• 11:26Speaker 03

Um, but so basically I get appointments with clients and then I go, so I don't get appointments every day. I don't work every day. Sometimes I'll stay the night at my friend's house in San Diego. So I'm avoiding, you know, like the, the commute every day, you know? But it's not remote. I mean, I can't do a lot of stuff from home, but.

• 11:45Caleb Hammer?

Okay. Yes, it does. So what's your normal money that comes in?

• 11:51Speaker 03

So it really ranges. I actually did the math to see how much I made this year so far, and I've made 51,000 so far this year.

• 11:59Caleb Hammer?

And is that net? Is that what hits before or after taxes?

• 12:02Speaker 03

Um, no, that's in total, like.

• 12:05Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, so before taxes?

• 12:06Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 12:06Caleb Hammer?

Okay, great. In California, it's certainly taxes.

• 12:08Speaker 03

But it ranges, like, I think my lowest month, I would say is like 2,500 going into my account, and my highest has been 7,000 going into my account. So like last month, I had 4,500 hit my account, but like the month before, I was at like 3,000 hitting my account. But I want you to do the budget based on 3,000 and then just kind of tell me where to allocate extra money when it's busy.

• 12:34Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so the trans murder rate in Mexico is double than the United States?

• 12:37Speaker 03

  It's what?

• 12:37Caleb Hammer?

  Double.

• 12:39Speaker 03

  Good to know.

• 12:42Caleb Hammer?

And oftentimes in Mexico, it is targeted because they are trans and in the United States, it is because, not always because they're trans, it's just due to violence.

• 12:54Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 12:55Caleb Hammer?

There are hate crimes. There's hate crimes everywhere for every group. That is 100% true. You know, like, but it is substantially worse in very socially, you have to remember, the United States, yes, I know we have a conservative party, certainly, of course, and they won the last election, man, pretty, pretty heavily, too. A lot of the world outside of Europe, I mean, even Eastern Europe is socially quite conservative.

• 13:22Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 13:23Caleb Hammer?

Mexico socially, very Catholic country. You know, the United States is very progressive.

• 13:31Speaker 03

  I feel like-

• 13:31Caleb Hammer?

It doesn't always feel like you might get to the place you want, and you will see rhetoric in your doom scrolling, and you'll see election results not go the way you wish. Does that mean on a statistical average day, you walk outside, you are in danger? No, it does not. And you [bleep] with everything just because of that and doom scrolling and fear-based [bleep].

• 13:52Speaker 03

That's not the only reason why I moved.

• 13:54Caleb Hammer?

Okay, well, the other reason you moved.

• 13:56Speaker 03

One, my, I don't do long-distance relationships and my girlfriend and I-

• 13:59Caleb Hammer?

She refused to move here because she's afraid of it incorrectly, though.

• 14:03Speaker 03

Also, it's really hard to get a green card to move to the US, especially right now.

• 14:07Caleb Hammer?

What's her visa for the United States?

• 14:08Speaker 03

She has a border crossing card.

• 14:10Caleb Hammer?

Okay, just a border crossing card.

• 14:11Speaker 03

  She can visit.

• 14:12Caleb Hammer?

Why doesn't she apply for like a work permit? When did you guys get married?

• 14:14Speaker 03

Well, she has a career in Mexico. She doesn't want to live in America.

• 14:17Caleb Hammer?

Career in Mexico. Does she make good money?

• 14:20Speaker 03

She's a teacher. Good money for Mexico.

• 14:21Caleb Hammer?

Good money for Mexico. Great. Okay.

• 14:24Speaker 03

  Okay, but like-

• 14:25Caleb Hammer?

  How's her English?

• 14:26Speaker 03

She understands it like almost perfectly, but speaking it is kind of hard for her.

• 14:31Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so it would be a little difficult for her. Okay, got it. So, but again, so-

• 14:35Speaker 03

And her whole family's there and like-

• 14:37Caleb Hammer?

Well, I get that, but look how easy you guys are crossing. Like, you can go visit family.

• 14:41Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 14:42Caleb Hammer?

All I'm saying is, this is the most logical move.

• 14:44Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 14:45Caleb Hammer?

It is cheaper for a reason. Do you know why cheaper cities are, you know why Kansas City, Missouri is cheaper than New York City? I'll tell you, it's not as good.

• 14:53Speaker 03

But I really like, our neighborhood is really safe and our street is not ghetto. It's really, and there's like a little store on the side and it's really cute.

• 15:02Caleb Hammer?

  Yippee.

• 15:03Speaker 03

And I have a two bedroom apartment with a patio and a parking space.

• 15:07Caleb Hammer?

You have an apartment in San Diego still?

• 15:09Speaker 03

  No, I'm talking about Mexico.

• 15:11Caleb Hammer?

I'm asking still, cause you were just there.

• 15:13Speaker 03

Yeah, I gave it up. Well, it's because I was behind on rent.

• 15:16Caleb Hammer?

What do you do if you get, if you lose this job in San Diego when you're now international?

• 15:21Speaker 03

I got another one in San Diego.

• 15:23Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, what if?

• 15:24Speaker 03

I'm in sales. I can go into any sales job, Caleb.

• 15:26Caleb Hammer?

Sure, they might require a little more in-person activity.

• 15:29Speaker 03

Yeah, that's fine. I go into work between three and six days a week, depending on the week.

• 15:34Caleb Hammer?

  How long is that commute?

• 15:36Speaker 03

Um, it's 45 minutes once I cross the border and I'm like eight minutes from the border. So it depends on how long the borderline is. So it can range from being like two hours to like four hours.

• 15:46Caleb Hammer?

Classic safest cities in Mexico, the ones right at the border.

• 15:49Speaker 03

This one's a small border town. It's nothing like Tijuana. It's like a baby town. It's like one main street.

• 15:56Caleb Hammer?

So what am I helping you do? What are we trying to talk about? Okay, you hate fascist America. Got it. We're, okay. Okay. Wild logic in every way whatsoever, but I understand you live on TikTok and Reddit.

• 16:11Speaker 03

  I actually don't.

• 16:12Caleb Hammer?

I actually don't, is what everyone says.

• 16:14Speaker 03

  That's your generation, Caleb. Yeah.

• 16:16Caleb Hammer?

Older, 24. Oh wow, you look substantially older. Okay.

• 16:19Speaker 03

  Do I really?

• 16:21Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 16:23Speaker 03

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but.

• 16:24Caleb Hammer?

Bad. So I, okay. Well, I, I don't know. Yeah, maybe it is. Maybe it is. That's fine.

• 16:31Speaker 03

But anyways, so what I'm here for, she's 24 as well, with the same age.

• 16:35Caleb Hammer?

Are you trying to green card marriage into Mexico?

• 16:38Speaker 03

  Yes, sir.

• 16:39Caleb Hammer?

Are you guys engaged? Are you guys married?

• 16:41Speaker 03

We're getting engaged in November this month.

• 16:43Caleb Hammer?

Getting engaged this month. Okay. And then what does that look like?

• 16:46Speaker 03

Well, we're getting married in 2027.

• 16:48Caleb Hammer?

And I do not know how the process works in good old Mexico.

• 16:52Speaker 03

So I basically need to go and get, well, since I'm like in and out, I haven't gone and gotten like a visitor visa. So I'm an illegal immigrant over there right now. But once we get married, then she can apply for me to get like, basically like a permanent resident card in Mexico under like the family unit thing.

• 17:09Caleb Hammer?

  How long does that take?

• 17:10Speaker 03

Um, so I mean, you got it like within like a month of applying.

• 17:14Caleb Hammer?

And do you just get it or are there questions?

• 17:17Speaker 03

They ask, they would make sure you have enough money, like, so as long as I'm working in San Diego, or like I have an online income, whatever it is, then it's fine. And then we have to like prove that we've been together, so.

• 17:27Caleb Hammer?

So you're gonna pay double taxes?

• 17:29Speaker 03

I don't know how that works. I don't know how the taxes work, but probably.

• 17:34Caleb Hammer?

Well, I know for a fact you're still paying America and California taxes.

• 17:37Speaker 03

I mean, I don't know if I'll have to pay taxes in Mexico if I'm not working in there.

• 17:41Caleb Hammer?

I think they'll probably want their taxes.

• 17:43Speaker 03

So, I mean, if I do, I'll pay them. Like, it's not, I don't know. That's like a later problem.

• 17:49Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so you're from San Diego then?

• 17:51Speaker 03

No, I'm from Seattle, Washington. I moved to San Diego a year ago.

• 17:55Caleb Hammer?

• 17:56Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 17:56Caleb Hammer?

Then you're immediately making the move. What are you doing? You're just hopping everywhere.

• 18:00Speaker 03

Well, I didn't like living in Seattle, and then I went through a really messy breakup. So then I downloaded a dating app to see where the hottest were in California, ended up in San Diego.

• 18:09Caleb Hammer?

  Where the hottest are?

• 18:10Speaker 03

Yeah. Um, that's what, in my opinion.

• 18:14Caleb Hammer?

Well, I don't know what your type is.

• 18:15Speaker 03

I like Hispanic people, so makes sense.

• 18:18Caleb Hammer?

Well, they're certainly in Southern California.

• 18:19Speaker 03

Yeah. Anyway, so I moved to San Diego. I transferred my jobs, like, my, I worked for a different company up in Seattle. I transferred to the corporate here, and then it was like super easy, so I already had a job.

• 18:31Caleb Hammer?

What does this girl look like?

• 18:33Speaker 03

  My girlfriend?

• 18:33Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, I gotta see what these hot b****s look like.

• 18:36Speaker 03

Look at my phone. It's like aggressive Caleb. This is our Dia de los Muertos event.

• 18:43Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 18:46Caleb Hammer?

  Definitely lesbian.

• 18:48Speaker 03

  Yeah, obviously.

• 18:50Caleb Hammer?

  When I see that.

• 18:51Speaker 03

Yeah. And she, it does look taller. That picture, she doesn't look that tall, but I don't know, it's the angle. She's about the same height as me.

• 18:57Caleb Hammer?

  How tall are you?

• 18:58Speaker 03

  I'm 24.

• 19:00Caleb Hammer?

  Tall?

• 19:00Speaker 03

  I'm five eight, sorry.

• 19:02Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, you're acting like you're.

• 19:06Caleb Hammer?

Endlessly tall. Um, this is not, when I think I think boobs, but-

• 19:15Speaker 03

  We have different types.

• 19:16Caleb Hammer?

Well, exactly. That's what I said.

• 19:18Speaker 03

I am the boobs and she's the masculine one. So.

• 19:20Caleb Hammer?

  You're the femme?

• 19:22Speaker 03

  Obviously.

• 19:24Caleb Hammer?

I think I need to get Erin in here.

• 19:27Speaker 03

Is there a gay here? Hello?

• 19:28Caleb Hammer?

I need you to assess her lesbianism from a score of zero to 10, zero being no lesbian, to 10 being just slamming that bush.

• 19:38Speaker 03

Side note, I'm so gay. Can we look at the rings? I can't stop looking. I should get some points for the rings, you know? But the nails are long, don't look at those. Okay, sorry. Um, what kind of car do you drive? A Nissan Rogue.

• 19:53Speaker 03

Hold on. It's white. I don't know. Alright, that didn't answer me anything. Yeah, it's not a Subaru, sorry. What kind of music do you listen to? Um, I listen to Chapel Rowan, Russ.

• 20:03Caleb Hammer?

  I thought it was Rone.

• 20:03Speaker 03

That's Chapel Rone, so that's a point off. Yeah. What? I said Chapel Rowan. It's Rone. It is? Yeah. I didn't know that. Um.

• 20:13Caleb Hammer?

  Horrible woman.

• 20:15Speaker 03

Um, do you have any pets? I have two dogs. They're my children. They're little dogs. I have a Pomeranian and a Chihuahua. Have you ever seen Portrait of a Lady on Fire? No. Okay. I'm a young person, though. That sounds like an old movie. What's giving hints of lesbian to you?

• 20:31Caleb Hammer?

I'll, I'll tell you in a second, but what's your, do you have a score? Do you want to ask another question?

• 20:35Speaker 03

She said the last name of Chapel Rone incorrectly. I feel like any lesbian would have gotten that right.

• 20:41Caleb Hammer?

  So what's her score?

• 20:42Speaker 03

  Negative two.

• 20:44Caleb Hammer?

Hey, well, here's the, the kicker for me that made me ask is she's marrying a woman, but.

• 20:48Speaker 03

I eat so much, like. You're marrying a woman? Yes, I'm gay. I eat so much. See, I thought it was Chapel Rowan.

• 20:54Caleb Hammer?

  She's just a bad gay.

• 20:55Speaker 03

Yeah, I thought it was Chapel Rowan, I swear.

• 20:57Caleb Hammer?

First of all, it's Rone. Please stop saying that.

• 20:59Speaker 03

I didn't know, yeah. Oh, Rone.

• 21:00Caleb Hammer?

Ladies and gentlemen, if you want your Hammer lesbian score, your Hammer lesbian score, go to CalebHammer.com/lesbian, take the assessment, see where you stand in the world of les. And, uh, yeah, you could see if you're smashing flaps that night, or if you're going full on the hog.

• 21:17Speaker 03

Negative two. I better put on a Nike sports bra and, you know, assimilate to my culture.

• 21:22Caleb Hammer?

  I don't think they'd fit.

• 21:24Speaker 03

I could. I could definitely get a Nike sports bra on.

• 21:26Caleb Hammer?

Okay. Okay, so, okay, and how is this all affecting your finances? It's just like, where do we stand? So you're saying 3,000 a month is what we're calling your net?

• 21:35Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 21:36Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so where is this all standing with this transition that you're doing? From Seattle, San Diego to?

• 21:41Speaker 03

  So, when I moved?

• 21:42Caleb Hammer?

  Tecate.

• 21:43Speaker 03

Down here, I don't know, like, my rent didn't go that much up when I moved from Seattle to San Diego.

• 21:49Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, but it's expensive.

• 21:50Speaker 03

It was fucking expensive. But, um, my rent was 1745 plus utilities. And then I moved to Mexico and I had a studio, like a box, like smaller than this. And yeah, it was tiny. No parking either. I swear to God, it was fucking tiny. Swear to God, it was tiny. And now I have a two bedroom with a parking spot and a patio for my children. And it's only $500 a month.

• 22:14Caleb Hammer?

  In Mexico?

• 22:15Speaker 03

  Yeah, in Mexico.

• 22:16Caleb Hammer?

But how has that affected all of this? I'm glad you got the rent situation, but?

• 22:20Speaker 03

So, my rent was super high? No, I pay the rent and she pays like gas, water, electricity. Well, I make more, so it's more fair.

• 22:28Caleb Hammer?

• 24:20Speaker 03

No, we have electricity, but you know, we have to heat our water. I could not figure out why I couldn't get hot water for like a week. And then she was like, oh, because we need to get gas. Wow.

• 24:30Caleb Hammer?

Well, Mexico is a technical developing country. It is not a technical developed country. There's developed cities.

• 24:37Speaker 03

I was really shocked by that, but I have hot water now.

• 24:40Caleb Hammer?

You're literally moving from the peak of the first world.

• 24:43Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 24:44Caleb Hammer?

Not to shit on Mexico, I'm sure it's a great place in many ways, but yes, there are differences.

• 24:50Speaker 03

Yeah, I live in a really nice apartment. It's really bougie. It's a bougie apartment. So it's expensive and I pay it in American dollars. It's like for people that make American wages.

• 24:59Caleb Hammer?

  Uh huh.

• 25:00Speaker 03

Anyway, so now that I have more money, because I couldn't even like pay any bills because my rent was so high. So I got behind on rent, my car payment's super behind.

• 25:08Caleb Hammer?

Why? Where are you behind? Why aren't you making more sales? Why aren't you getting out there and grinding sales? That's what I did when I was in sales.

• 25:15Speaker 03

I was trying. Sometimes there's not enough appointments.

• 25:18Caleb Hammer?

Sometimes you're bad at sales and you should change careers.

• 25:21Speaker 03

I'm actually really good at sales and I get told, in my first two weeks of this job.

• 25:26Caleb Hammer?

You know how you get told you're good at sales? You get more money.

• 25:28Speaker 03

I sold 116,000 in the first two weeks.

• 25:31Caleb Hammer?

Don't care. You get more money if you are good at sales. It is literally that. Handshake, reward, piece of cake, nothing.

• 25:37Speaker 03

Right now, people are more scared to buy things because I don't work.

• 25:41Caleb Hammer?

What are you selling again? It's like clothing.

• 25:42Speaker 03

Closets. Not everyone needs to buy a closet.

• 25:44Caleb Hammer?

You're right. People probably cut back on closets. Maybe go sell something people need.

• 25:48Speaker 03

I love my job, though. I get good benefits. I have health insurance, file reimbursement. I know. But I might get a second job. That's why I'm here, Caleb, so you can tell me how to make more money. And I'm gonna do a course careers. I might go into medical.

• 26:00Caleb Hammer?

Yes, I will get you a free course career certification. We can absolutely do that. That is true. Helps a lot of people increase their income or change careers, fields. Yes, it is.

• 26:07Speaker 03

I'm so sorry to be distracting, but what do you think?

• 26:10Caleb Hammer?

It's not even on camera. It's the new iPhone.

• 26:12Speaker 03

What do you think about it? Is the camera good? Should I get it?

• 26:14Caleb Hammer?

Yes, the camera's good. No, you couldn't because you're poor.

• 26:17Speaker 03

I could put on a payment plan on T-Mobile.

• 26:19Caleb Hammer?

Die. Okay, so great. We did the move to Mexico. You're gonna get engaged and then that's gonna move to marriage, I guess.

• 26:26Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 26:27Caleb Hammer?

My concern here is just based on this bullet. I randomly scrolled down and saw I got kinda lucky on this.

• 26:33Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 26:34Caleb Hammer?

You have a chronic condition of being a U-Haul lesbian, just situation shifts endlessly. Just in the spring, you almost moved in with someone named Sarah, and Sarah didn't let you.

• 26:43Speaker 03

  No, I'm Sarah.

• 26:44Caleb Hammer?

Oh, oh, sorry. She almost moved in with you.

• 26:47Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 26:47Caleb Hammer?

You didn't let her, and then you fuck, like, you're moving everywhere and you're about to get engaged in this Mexico thing? You're doing full lesbianism. You're going full U-Haul.

• 26:55Speaker 03

  But I didn't.

• 26:56Caleb Hammer?

  But you're U-Hauling across a border. That's a, that's a intense lesbianism.

• 27:00Speaker 03

I'm really proud of myself. This is like my dream. I've always wanted to move out of America. I'm like really happy about my move.

• 27:05Caleb Hammer?

Okay, are there any logical reasons why?

• 27:07Speaker 03

  The money, the money.

• 27:08Caleb Hammer?

Okay, money can be a logical, but usually that follows cost of living goes to the cost of income. Like, if you lose your job.

• 27:14Speaker 03

I can get another one in San Diego.

• 27:15Caleb Hammer?

Okay, you are way too confident on that. And remember when you just, hey, remember when you just acknowledged the current economic conditions? It is not gonna be as easy as that.

• 27:23Speaker 03

I have a lot of skills, Caleb. I can do a lot of stuff.

• 27:25Caleb Hammer?

Unfortunately, that translates to 3,000 hours a month in one of America's most expensive cities. So fuck you. The skills are not actually being translated in the market where they are rewarding you based on those skills. It's actually suggesting that.

• 27:36Speaker 04

• 28:04Caleb Hammer?

Your skills are low. I mean, that is

• 28:08Speaker 03

I sold the law last month and this

• 28:09Caleb Hammer?

Doesn't matter. I don't give a You averaged it out. Okay, but the money thing could make sense. It's usually for like more secure, remote jobs that are able to move somewhere else. But you know, like Mexico City or something. But leaving America, just, just the money thing? You know, disposable income. Do you know what disposable income is?

• 28:27Speaker 03

It's like money you can spend.

• 28:28Caleb Hammer?

Disposable income is after everything. Your needs, your insurance, your health insurance, after everything. Compared to the UK, compared to Germany, compared to the most developed countries in the airport, people, grass is greener, say everything is better. Which they do build their communities better. I will say that in terms of walkability and you could use a walkable community. The thing is disposable income after everything, which includes their taxes that pay for the things that we have to pay for the private marketplace. We still have more money left over. Everywhere. So yes, it is more expensive here, but we have more money left over at the end of the day anyway.

• 29:00Speaker 03

  That's crazy.

• 29:00Caleb Hammer?

It's okay. So it's good. So that's a good thing. So that is also an invalid complaint. San Diego and Seattle are expensive cities, but there's many places you can go. Okay, cool. Any other arguments for your disdain that is requiring you to leave?

• 29:18Speaker 03

Also, my girlfriend didn't want to move here and I wanted to be with her.

• 29:21Caleb Hammer?

You always wanted to. You've been with your girlfriend like a classic lesbian only a few months. So.

• 29:26Speaker 03

We met on, um, what, June 7th? So it's like 6/7.

• 29:30Caleb Hammer?

Oh my, you're getting engaged tomorrow?

• 29:33Speaker 03

  No, not tomorrow. Next week.

• 29:35Caleb Hammer?

This month. Come on, shut the up. Okay. So any other logical reason that you had before you met the woman of your dreams a couple of months ago?

• 29:43Speaker 03

I mean, the money. I'm excited for that.

• 29:44Caleb Hammer?

  No. Oh, my gosh.

• 29:45Speaker 03

  I don't know. There's not anything. I like bra.

• 29:47Caleb Hammer?

We statistically have disqualified the money argument and we've disqualified the hate crime argument.

• 29:52Speaker 03

For me and my finances, it makes more sense.

• 29:57Speaker 03

  So, yeah.

• 29:59Caleb Hammer?

So no other valid arguments, nothing that we can back up with statistics or metrics or anything real.

• 30:04Speaker 03

Nothing, it's just like my personal situation.

• 30:06Caleb Hammer?

I doom scroll and that makes me sad.

• 30:08Speaker 03

No, I don't watch sad videos.

• 30:11Caleb Hammer?

Come on, you just get flooded with information that is negative about our culture, which is a very fair thing, because that's a very bad part of our society right now.

• 30:21Speaker 03

My opinions come from my conservative family.

• 30:23Caleb Hammer?

Well, if you surround yourself with people, you have a vehement disagreement of worldview wise, then obviously you're going to only associate negativity with this culture. And I, I think people should get out of their bubbles more, so I can't believe I'm about to advocate for this, but you could move to a place and surround yourself with people who have the same group think as you. You don't have to leave the country for that.

• 30:42Speaker 03

Well, I wanted to leave the country, though. I'm very happy with my move and I feel like it was good financially.

• 30:47Caleb Hammer?

Good financially? I mean, I have a payday loan in front of me.

• 30:49Speaker 03

That was a long time ago.

• 30:51Caleb Hammer?

Okay, and it's not paid off like I, I don't really know. The good financially is relying on, you cannot lose this job.

• 30:56Speaker 03

  Now, I have.

• 30:58Caleb Hammer?

And at the state of your commission checks coming in from the most expensive city, I wouldn't be so confident on you keeping it for a long time.

• 31:04Speaker 03

  I think I'll be fine.

• 31:05Caleb Hammer?

Great. What a boat of confidence.

• 31:07Speaker 03

Well, I can go like I'm, I don't have a worry of losing my job. I've been doing good the past few months, so.

• 31:15Speaker 03

It's a lot of typing there, Cam.

• 31:17Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, I'm looking things up because.

• 31:19Speaker 03

Oh my God, you're gonna get canceled for saying that word.

• 31:21Caleb Hammer?

My audience isn't full of people like you, the endless pearl clutches who are sensitive about everything in this world.

• 31:26Speaker 03

  I was making a joke.

• 31:28Caleb Hammer?

  You're fleeing the country.

• 31:29Speaker 03

It's like a lore story too. I, I literally, when I was moving, I was like, do I want to look back?

• 31:33Caleb Hammer?

But the, you are the type of people that cancel people incorrectly for over sensationalized bullshit.

• 31:39Speaker 03

I'm not one of those liberals.

• 31:40Caleb Hammer?

  Performative ridiculousness.

• 31:41Speaker 03

I want to make it clear, I'm not one of those blue haired dark liberals.

• 31:43Caleb Hammer?

It has nothing to do with liberal, it has to do with the people themselves.

• 31:46Speaker 03

  I don't do cancel culture.

• 31:47Caleb Hammer?

You said it is unsafe for trans people here, so you're fleeing to a safe that a, a place that is objectively twice as dangerous at a minimum.

• 31:53Speaker 03

Like, I just don't like America. Like, that's like my thing.

• 31:56Caleb Hammer?

That's your thing? That's your personality?

• 31:58Speaker 03

No, no, no, it's not my personality. It's just like my thing with America, I just don't like it.

• 32:03Caleb Hammer?

So first of all, it is back and better than ever. Second of all, I'm not gonna get canceled because I have a good audience that we can disagree on things and we don't kill each other for because we're not fucking living on Reddit and TikTok.

• 32:14Speaker 03

  I don't go on Reddit.

• 32:14Caleb Hammer?

We have normal people, we are filled with normal people. Okay. So in New York, one of the bluest places was the one hate crime that has happened within the last calendar year on a transgender person. One.

• 32:29Speaker 03

Are you, what about the same Nord quest in Florida? Was that more than a year ago?

• 32:33Caleb Hammer?

That, that, that is, that was New York.

• 32:36Speaker 03

I don't think that was New York. I think it was Florida.

• 32:37Caleb Hammer?

February 2025, New York, 24 year old transgender man, whose body was found after alleged prolonged torture. Five suspects have been charged with second degree murder. See, people are actually being held accountable, unlike in Mexico, by the way. Five suspects have been charged with second degree murder. Authorities so far state there is no indication of yet of a hate crime motive.

• 32:58Speaker 03

Wow, but it was hate crime.

• 33:00Caleb Hammer?

Dude, that's, that's authorities in a blue, hyper blue state, as in blue prosecutors.

• 33:07Speaker 03

It was definitely a hate crime, though.

• 33:08Caleb Hammer?

I'm glad we can just say that even though the authorities in the state that would say it's a hate crime more than any other state other than California says there's no indication of that yet.

• 33:18Speaker 03

I would say it was a crime, but.

• 33:19Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, great.

• 33:20Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 33:20Caleb Hammer?

It's based on feelings, I guess.

• 33:22Speaker 03

Feelings over facts, you know? Anyways, regardless of that, I don't want to live in America.

• 33:29Caleb Hammer?

I know. I just wish we were able to.

• 33:30Speaker 03

Do I have to have like a valid reason?

• 33:33Caleb Hammer?

  To change your entire life?

• 33:35Speaker 03

  Yeah, I love changing.

• 33:36Caleb Hammer?

To throw away for everything within just a couple of months of knowing someone?

• 33:39Speaker 03

But I'm not throwing everything away. I still have everything except for a better financial situation.

• 33:43Caleb Hammer?

No, it's risk. It is immense risk because the economic conditions is you are, you are able to self admit, plus you not making that much money suggesting you're not that good at your job.

• 33:52Speaker 03

Don't think that I would have a problem getting another job.

• 33:56Caleb Hammer?

You're selling closets as we head into a potential recession.

• 33:59Speaker 03

I know, but I would be able to get another sales job or go back into serving.

• 34:02Caleb Hammer?

It's not that easy. You have hubris beyond hubris.

• 34:06Speaker 03

I've gotten every single job I applied for, Caleb.

• 34:08Caleb Hammer?

Girl, you've only been an adult being able to apply for jobs.

• 34:11Speaker 03

  I've been working since I was 16.

• 34:13Caleb Hammer?

Okay, since 16 in good job markets. You've never experienced a bad job market.

• 34:17Speaker 03

  Well, I don't think I would.

• 34:19Caleb Hammer?

In your adult and 16 life, you have never experienced a bad job market.

• 34:23Speaker 03

I think I would be fine. Plan on leaving the job.

• 34:24Caleb Hammer?

What a, what a thrilling argument. So that's why I'm trying to have it because if. There is a true logical reason for why you are willing to blow up everything and put yourself in risk before you even have any savings. Before you do anything to move to U-Haul lesbian, move in with a girl you've only known for a couple of months and get married to her. That's why I want to know if there's a logical reason. If you had it, I would advocate for it more.

• 34:46Speaker 03

Like my apartment, I was behind on rent. I was gonna have to move out. I couldn't afford anything else.

• 34:51Caleb Hammer?

You are bad with money. You were willing to work on skills instead of you're abandoning.

• 34:56Speaker 03

But where was I gonna move if I got evicted? Where was I gonna move? I couldn't afford anything.

• 35:01Caleb Hammer?

We could look up a ton of places. You might have to commute far. You already are now.

• 35:05Speaker 03

  There, I literally.

• 35:06Caleb Hammer?

You might have to move cities. I don't know.

• 35:08Speaker 03

  I would not move.

• 35:08Caleb Hammer?

It's you being irresponsible and us having to work on actual real solutions instead of fleeing.

• 35:13Speaker 03

  Now, Caleb.

• 35:14Caleb Hammer?

Oh, good. That really changes it.

• 35:18Caleb Hammer?

What's your, what do you think your Hammer financial score is? Zero to 10, zero being the worst, 10 being the best.

• 35:23Speaker 03

Quick note, remind me that I have a question about retirement later, since we're talking about this. Anyways, um, zero.

• 35:29Caleb Hammer?

So dollarwise.app, all the links are in the description. Let's jump into these numbers.

• 36:17Speaker 03

It's a lot of memorization, Caleb.

• 36:18Caleb Hammer?

So, I mean, as I've mentioned, first thing, right below my nose, right here.

• 36:24Speaker 03

  Yeah, payday loan.

• 36:26Caleb Hammer?

Payday loan. Tell me about this. What was happening?

• 36:29Speaker 03

  So.

• 36:29Caleb Hammer?

  And when and what?

• 36:30Speaker 03

  October.

• 36:32Caleb Hammer?

  Last logged in was October.

• 36:34Speaker 03

Oh, yeah, I was about to be like, this is, I have not paid them, so I know this isn't recent. Anyways, I got this like a year ago and I'm pretty sure that I, I don't remember what it was for, but I was broke. I was in Washington though, because I did try to tell them that I lived in Washington again to try to get more money. But because they get 700 there.

• 36:51Caleb Hammer?

What's wrong with you? Why do you want more? Why do you want to go deeper in the hole? How does it make sense?

• 36:56Speaker 03

Uh, well, this was, this was a year, or can you guys bleep that? Sarah.

• 37:01Caleb Hammer?

Okay, yes, yes, I see. That was your real name.

• 37:03Speaker 03

This was a year ago, Sarah, not me now. So, and I haven't.

• 37:08Caleb Hammer?

Also, by the way, it would be so funny if you gave up your, if you gave up your, your US citizenship, you became a Mexican citizen and then you decided you hate it. I would love to see you climb the fence.

• 37:20Speaker 03

  I don't know that I could.

• 37:21Caleb Hammer?

  That's what I'm saying.

• 37:23Speaker 03

The fences, it's actually like pretty tall, but if I start myself enough, I might be able to squeeze through. Take a long time though.

• 37:31Caleb Hammer?

Yeah. Or going across the Rio Grande.

• 37:34Speaker 03

I don't know what that is.

• 37:37Caleb Hammer?

  Why? It's the river.

• 37:39Speaker 03

  Oh, I like to swim.

• 37:40Caleb Hammer?

  Separates the largest part.

• 37:41Speaker 03

I can swim. Took swimming lessons. Yep.

• 37:44Caleb Hammer?

Just let me know if you ever want to do that. We can start a whole series around it.

• 37:47Speaker 03

  No, I'm getting dual citizenship.

• 37:49Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you're gonna pay taxes forever. Okay, so yes, the payday loan.

• 37:52Speaker 03

I took it out. Don't really remember what it was for and then.

• 37:55Caleb Hammer?

Don't remember what this is for. When did you take it out?

• 37:57Speaker 03

• 37:59Caleb Hammer?

How the can you not remember what you took out a literal payday loan for a year?

• 38:05Speaker 03

It wasn't a lot of money, so clearly it was probably like.

• 38:08Caleb Hammer?

  Oh my.

• 38:09Speaker 03

They probably charged me at the last payday loan and then I took out another one to replace the money.

• 38:13Caleb Hammer?

This is, this is another part of my concern. Again, I do not have a problem with you moving wherever. You can move wherever. I do not care. You can go full on rand if you want to. I don't give a. They will throw you off a building, but I don't give a. Here's the thing. You are using this move as your cope, as your solution, instead of actually ever building the behavior and implementing the discipline that you should have to live that better life.

• 38:36Speaker 03

I'm gonna have more money now, so I'll be able to pay this stuff off.

• 38:39Caleb Hammer?

  If you keep your job.

• 38:40Speaker 03

I paid my credit cards after not paying them for months recently.

• 38:43Caleb Hammer?

  Whoa, crazy. Oh, my gosh.

• 38:47Speaker 03

I'm really proud of that. I put them on automatic, too. I'm pretty sure.

• 38:49Caleb Hammer?

Dude, again, listen, what someone does right before coming on the show where they know their finances are gonna be looked at is not indicative of their future.

• 38:57Speaker 03

  I actually don't remember.

• 38:58Caleb Hammer?

I doubt it, cuz I would see it in here and we will see it.

• 39:00Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 39:00Caleb Hammer?

If that's the case, I will see it in here. I highly doubt it. Okay, so you don't know what you borrowed for?

• 39:05Speaker 03

No, but it's not a lot of money.

• 39:07Caleb Hammer?

And why haven't you made a payment?

• 39:08Speaker 03

Well, because, one, I didn't want to just like keep in the payday cycle and then I just didn't have the money to like pay them.

• 39:15Caleb Hammer?

You're making a payment. How does that keep you in the cycle? Because you wouldn't have money for anything else?

• 39:17Speaker 03

  Yeah, exactly.

• 39:18Caleb Hammer?

And what was your spending on it? If I look at a, okay, when was this? This was?

• 39:23Speaker 03

This was like last year. This is probably like-

• 39:24Caleb Hammer?

Name what month you think this likely is.

• 39:26Speaker 03

I think it was January, it's beginning of this year.

• 39:27Caleb Hammer?

  January of this year.

• 39:28Speaker 03

Or maybe December of last year.

• 39:29Caleb Hammer?

What account do you spend money on?

• 39:31Speaker 03

I only have one bank account.

• 39:32Caleb Hammer?

Okay, pull up your mobile app. And I'm gonna look at a statement from January this year, when you took out a payday loan, because we couldn't make a payment towards only a $255 balance because we would be stuck in the cycle. So let's see, from January this year, when you were dating someone else who almost moved in with you, by the way, and I'm glad we're getting married.

• 39:50Speaker 03

I was dating someone else at the time. Well, we'd just broken up.

• 39:52Caleb Hammer?

Oh, right. And then, and then the springtime, the springtime's when you almost moved in with someone.

• 39:57Speaker 03

  The situation was different.

• 39:58Caleb Hammer?

It's only been four that we've almost married this year. Come on, keep going.

• 40:00Speaker 03

No, I did not almost marry that girl. Oh, my God, wait, hold on. I might have to log in on the, on the thing cuz it's trying to send me a code.

• 40:08Caleb Hammer?

  On the thing?

• 40:09Speaker 03

I might have to log in on the, hold on, just give me a second. Cuz it's trying to make me verify my phone number and I have a new phone number. So I'm gonna try to log in via, not the app.

• 40:18Caleb Hammer?

How do people like you exist?

• 40:20Speaker 03

I don't know. Why isn't it working? You're gonna yell at me, huh? I'm waiting, scared. Okay. Remind me later.

• 40:28Caleb Hammer?

They talk about retirement? Good the luck. We're talking about a payday loan right now. And you think we're gonna talk retirement?

• 40:32Speaker 03

Um, I don't know if it's gonna let you. No, it's because I have a retirement account and I need you to tell me how much I should put into it each month.

• 40:38Caleb Hammer?

Zero, pay off your payday loan.

• 40:40Speaker 03

Anyways, so I don't know if it's gonna let me because it says online banking is temporarily unavailable, but you can like press the things and try to figure it out. Yeah, you can just.

• 40:50Caleb Hammer?

  What is wrong with you?

• 40:51Speaker 03

I don't, it's not my fault the bank's doing that.

• 40:53Caleb Hammer?

Wait, tax statements? I don't want tax statements. Just saw it. Oh shit, I'm my absolute.

• 41:01Speaker 03

  Do you need help?

• 41:02Caleb Hammer?

  Maybe, I don't know.

• 41:03Speaker 03

  Give me.

• 41:03Caleb Hammer?

  What the is this?

• 41:04Speaker 03

  Give it to me.

• 41:05Caleb Hammer?

I'm trying to find statements and I saw it.

• 41:06Speaker 03

  Let me help.

• 41:07Caleb Hammer?

Saw it, I fucking saw it.

• 41:10Speaker 03

  Let me help you.

• 41:11Caleb Hammer?

Wait, no, stop. I fucking saw it.

• 41:15Speaker 03

Do you ever get Dutch Bros?

• 41:16Caleb Hammer?

No, I'm not a fucking animal.

• 41:17Speaker 03

  I love Dutch Bros.

• 41:19Caleb Hammer?

  Well, you're.

• 41:19Speaker 03

Listen, this is my favorite sound, Caleb. Anyways, do you wanna know how I discovered I was a lesbian?

• 41:29Caleb Hammer?

  No.

• 41:30Speaker 03

  I was in a throuple.

• 41:30Caleb Hammer?

I said no. Okay, so when she was afraid to make a payment on her 300, uh, $255 payday loan because it would keep her in the cycle. Here is what her month of January looked like.

• 41:46Speaker 03

I think I made a lot of money that month too.

• 41:48Caleb Hammer?

Better Buzz. Looks like a bar or a restaurant. She spent about 12.

• 41:53Speaker 03

  That's a coffee place.

• 41:54Caleb Hammer?

Coffee place, $12 there. Um, she spent, uh, something square up dot com, $100 out.

• 42:02Speaker 03

I don't know what that was.

• 42:03Caleb Hammer?

I don't know, looks like, oh, there's Dutch Bros 1476.

• 42:07Speaker 03

  Love a Dutch.

• 42:08Caleb Hammer?

She loves a Dutch and a Mexican.

• 42:12Speaker 03

  Mm hmm.

• 42:13Caleb Hammer?

  Williams Taylor.

• 42:14Speaker 03

I don't know what that is. Oh, that is another loan, I think.

• 42:18Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, good.

• 42:18Speaker 03

  Williams Taylor, I don't know. What's that?

• 42:21Caleb Hammer?

  Services, Alaska International.

• 42:24Speaker 03

Yeah. Oh, my, I went on, I flew home and my dad, my dad Venmo'd me the money for that. I got to fly first class.

• 42:31Caleb Hammer?

  Coffee Driven, $5. Venmo'd out $200.

• 42:37Speaker 03

Cash app. That was for my dad to pay him back.

• 42:39Caleb Hammer?

  Prime Video.

• 42:40Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 42:42Caleb Hammer?

Planet Fitness, I mean, I, I'll support that for sure.

• 42:45Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 42:46Caleb Hammer?

  Amazon.

• 42:48Speaker 03

How much was Amazon? Was it like a subscription or did I buy shit?

• 42:52Caleb Hammer?

I've already moved on. Prime Video, just endless amount of Cash App, by the way. You know, Audible, when you're in a place that definitely has a library, when you can't make a paid

• 43:01Speaker 03

How am I gonna listen to books from the library?

• 43:03Caleb Hammer?

  I don't give a, they're on Spotify.

• 43:05Speaker 03

  Oh, that's just true.

• 43:06Caleb Hammer?

And I guarantee you probably have Spotify.

• 43:08Speaker 03

I do. That's how I listen to you, Kayla.

• 43:10Caleb Hammer?

So why have two? Really? Great. Thanks for making me less money.

• 43:13Speaker 03

What do you mean? Would you rather me watch through YouTube?

• 43:15Caleb Hammer?

Yes, and it's, uh, ahead by a week.

• 43:18Speaker 03

Okay, I will start watching on YouTube for you.

• 43:20Caleb Hammer?

That's fine. No, Spotify's good too. We, we like both.

• 43:23Speaker 03

  It's because I

• 43:24Caleb Hammer?

Amazon Cash App again. It's Williams Taylor things everywhere.

• 43:28Speaker 03

  How much is it?

• 43:29Caleb Hammer?

Courtyard bullshit. Let's, look at all of this that is happening, all of this that is, P O S withdrawal. No, these are like purchases that are being done through Cash App. Dude, you're spending bullshit. Cash App bullshit, Cash App bullshit, Cash App bullshit, Cash App bullshit, Cash App bullshit. And I can't see what they are, but it's you at a kiosk, spending money through Cash App. You're doing all that work whilst

• 44:20Caleb Hammer?

Been hearing crying, I'd be stuck in the payday loan cycle. You, you're a liar, disingenuous. You cannot make me feel sympathy for you being in a payday loan cycle. You can't. When you go and blow all that fucking money on Dutch Bros Coffee bullshit and endless Cash App tapping at a kiosk, fuck you, you spend bullshit.

• 44:38Speaker 03

I do buy a lot of bullshit.

• 44:40Caleb Hammer?

You can't tell me you'd be stuck in a payday loan cycle. You're choosing to by your bullshit spending. I don't wanna fucking hear it.

• 44:47Speaker 03

I, I ended the cycle because I haven't paid it and then retaken out more money. So I'm halfway there the ending the cycle.

• 44:53Caleb Hammer?

Just pay it and then close it. This is not an ad. I actually need your help with something cool. I'm trying to build. Financial out has gotten pretty dang big over the past few years. I went from filming on my kitchen table in my condo to renting out an entire office with multiple sets, a shit ton of full-time employees and some big time sponsors. Now, how? I dialed in the exact formula for making videos that gets hundreds of thousands of views every single time. From thumbnails and trailers to editing and audio. We've got this whole YouTube thing down to a science and the thing about science is it's meant to be taught. In fact, I've been thinking about doing a little YouTuber Academy for a while now, but I need your help first. If this is something that you're actually interested in, can you fill out the form linked below?

• 45:38Caleb Hammer?

It only takes about a minute and it'll let me know what I should actually include in the academy. So fill it out and stay tuned. Honestly, it helped me out and I want to help the next generation as well. So if you want to be included, feel free. Starbucks is bull and a waste of money and you already know that by making your coffee at home and investing the rest. So now you need to do that with your energy drink as well. Make gamer subs at home for just 40 cents a serving. And honestly, it literally tastes better and we proved this accidentally via a blind taste test in our Hammer Elite show, Fat and Fatter.

• 46:14Speaker 05

The number one ranked energy drink is gamer subs.

• 46:17Speaker 06

Literally the cherry flavor is insane.

• 46:20Caleb Hammer?

Listen, you can also get free samples to see if you like it or 10% off your order at gamersubs.gg or click that link in the description below, type in code Caleb.

• 46:31Speaker 03

But then I would worry that I would want to take the money out again when I go.

• 46:33Caleb Hammer?

  That's why you close it.

• 46:35Speaker 03

  How do you?

• 46:35Caleb Hammer?

Are you dumb? You call them and you close it.

• 46:37Speaker 03

Like never lend me money again.

• 46:39Caleb Hammer?

  You close your account.

• 46:41Speaker 03

I don't think you can do that with payday loans.

• 46:42Caleb Hammer?

Probably close your account. It would be really weird to have an account somewhere that you are incapable of closing. I would be absolutely shocked. Listen, I'll let you use the Fizz card. I don't know how it works with Mexico specifically, but at least it's a debit card that builds credit.

• 46:54Speaker 03

Like I work in America, so I don't use like Mexico's money.

• 46:57Caleb Hammer?

So you can only spend what's in your checking account because obviously for taking payday loans and bullshit, you're going absolutely moronic.

• 47:03Speaker 03

Yeah, it's been a while though. Okay, they don't call me anymore. That's why I've like, kind of like, put it on the side burner and it hasn't gone to collections. So this is like, end of priority payment.

• 47:14Caleb Hammer?

  Yet.

• 47:15Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 47:16Caleb Hammer?

With you. What the even is? I've never even heard of this in my life.

• 47:20Speaker 03

  It's like, a mistake.

• 47:23Caleb Hammer?

  With you or V V?

• 47:25Speaker 03

It's with you loans. They're like a loan shark company, basically.

• 47:28Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, good.

• 47:29Speaker 03

Cause they charge like 300%. It's not a payday loan. It's like a personal loan. They charge like 300%.

• 47:35Caleb Hammer?

Oh, that's on like payday loans.

• 47:37Speaker 03

  I'm.

• 47:37Caleb Hammer?

  Madness.

• 47:38Speaker 03

Actually, I called my bank and had them, like, not allow them to pull payments from my bank account.

• 47:45Caleb Hammer?

Why? Why don't you pay your bills, dude?

• 47:48Speaker 03

  Okay, but they.

• 47:49Caleb Hammer?

What's the normal minimum payment? Cause obviously there's a stacking up. It says 70740.

• 47:52Speaker 03

I haven't. No, okay, so they're not in charging interest anymore. Right now, they're trying to just get me to like, make a settlement with them.

• 47:59Caleb Hammer?

  They want a settlement?

• 48:00Speaker 03

Yeah, they just want me to like, pay like.

• 48:02Caleb Hammer?

And what have they, what have they said? So that 707?

• 48:06Speaker 03

Look, can I see the paper? Sorry. Just, I just need to. Okay, so, okay, so the amount due right now is the 1649 and the 707 is like a bunch of payments like stacked up because I didn't pay.

• 48:21Caleb Hammer?

  I've already said that.

• 48:22Speaker 03

1649 is, so they are basically are trying to settle with me for like 1200.

• 48:27Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 48:28Speaker 03

I don't want to pay them that much.

• 48:28Caleb Hammer?

Very good. Well, that is money that you borrowed and signed a contract for.

• 48:32Speaker 03

I only borrowed a hundred dollars.

• 48:33Caleb Hammer?

So who the are you to say, dude, you signed the contract. The interest, I don't like this type of product.

• 48:38Speaker 03

And I didn't even learn my lesson. It's really bad.

• 48:40Caleb Hammer?

Uh, yeah, almost like you fleeing.

• 48:42Speaker 03

A company with loans, but an ethical loan company, Caleb.

• 48:46Caleb Hammer?

There's already ethical loan companies. I mean, there's ethical loans.

• 48:49Speaker 03

  Make more money.

• 48:50Caleb Hammer?

Even this, I mean, depending on how they marketed it to you, I would say never get the loan doesn't mean they were horribly unethical about it. Cause you still signed the contract. It's a shit loan. I don't like it, obviously. It's not the product I'd advocate for, but. You sought it out, right? Or did they seek you out?

• 49:06Speaker 03

Uh, no, I sought. Well, I found them like when I was like nine. So not my brain wasn't fully developed.

• 49:13Caleb Hammer?

Well, technically it's still not because you're 24.

• 49:15Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 49:15Caleb Hammer?

According to where you get the rest of your information.

• 49:18Speaker 03

Anyways, so that's what's going on with that one.

• 49:21Caleb Hammer?

What is the normal minimum monthly payment?

• 49:23Speaker 03

I honestly don't. I think it was like $150 every two weeks. I think that's what it was. It's been a while.

• 49:29Caleb Hammer?

So I'll call it three. I'll call it 300 for sake.

• 49:33Speaker 03

  But I don't.

• 49:33Caleb Hammer?

  Do you know anything?

• 49:34Speaker 03

This one, like, I can just settle with them. So I want to put this on like a later problem.

• 49:40Speaker 03

  Because it's not in collections.

• 49:41Caleb Hammer?

Well, yeah, unless they send it to collections.

• 49:44Speaker 03

I, okay, I would rather do a settlement on this one, though.

• 49:46Caleb Hammer?

I would too, but they're probably accepting the internal collection settlement. And then if they feel like they're not getting it, they're just going to sell it for pennies on the dollar to a collections agency.

• 49:55Speaker 03

Okay. We'll talk about it at the end when you make the budget. I've, I tried to make a budget and this was not in there. So.

• 50:01Caleb Hammer?

  Well, I don't know.

• 50:02Speaker 03

I don't want to put this in the budget.

• 50:04Caleb Hammer?

But there's a flaw in what you're thinking is what I am just trying to tell you.

• 50:07Speaker 03

Well, I would rather save that money up and then put a, and put a settlement.

• 50:12Caleb Hammer?

I'm telling you potentially consequences of it is it might not always be in settlement forever.

• 50:16Speaker 03

  I know.

• 50:17Caleb Hammer?

  Internal collections with that company.

• 50:18Speaker 03

By the end of the year.

• 50:19Caleb Hammer?

Maybe, and that's if they still have it by the end of the year. You don't know when they get rid of it and when they won't. Have they told you? Then what the, you're doing lots of guessing.

• 50:28Speaker 03

Okay, I'll, you're, you're the boss. I'll let you decide where, yeah, anyways.

• 50:33Caleb Hammer?

I don't know. I just want to make sure you understand that you cannot guess the future. You're gonna be confident in everything. You cannot say, I will have this job forever.

• 50:41Speaker 03

  With collections.

• 50:41Caleb Hammer?

You can't say, I will have this job forever. I can just settle with them forever. I can go get a job no matter what within a day forever. Your credit score is already 427. You're like, what are we doing?

• 50:51Speaker 03

The lowest you've had on the show, is it?

• 50:52Caleb Hammer?

It's pretty damn, honestly, it might be.

• 50:55Speaker 03

  It is.

• 50:55Caleb Hammer?

It might be. Okay, it officially is. Yeah, congratulations, world record breaking.

• 51:01Speaker 03

  Thank you.

• 51:02Caleb Hammer?

Of how horrible someone is. And you don't think you, I don't think you give a, I really don't.

• 51:07Speaker 03

No, I do. I do because I can't get more credit cards with such bad credit.

• 51:11Caleb Hammer?

Uh huh. Okay. Nor should you. You're not a credit card person. Why would you?

• 51:16Speaker 03

I will be a credit card person.

• 51:18Caleb Hammer?

Do you try to pose every time you take a sip?

• 51:20Speaker 03

No. I don't know. Was I posing? Sorry. Continue. You made a hole in the paper, Caleb. Why would you do that?

• 51:30Speaker 03

Sorry, it was like giving me OCD. Continue.

• 51:33Caleb Hammer?

I see money owed to dad. What is that possibly for? He already got your flight home.

• 51:38Speaker 03

He buys me a lot of flights home. I love my dad.

• 51:40Caleb Hammer?

What, what, what, what, what, what, what, what do you fly?

• 51:43Speaker 03

  Alaska first class.

• 51:44Caleb Hammer?

  First class?

• 51:45Speaker 03

My dad pays for it. I actually bought my girlfriend and I tickets to go home and I didn't get first class because I can't afford it, obviously.

• 51:51Caleb Hammer?

  And?

• 51:52Speaker 03

And I'm really sad about that because my son's coming with, so it's hard to fly with him unless it's a first class. My son's coming with.

• 51:58Caleb Hammer?

  Son? Child?

• 51:59Speaker 03

No, bear, my dog. One of my dogs. I birthed him. He was $3,500.

• 52:05Caleb Hammer?

  Oh my fucking.

• 52:06Speaker 03

  He's really cute.

• 52:07Caleb Hammer?

  Did you pay for that?

• 52:08Speaker 03

My ex at the time did. And then when we broke up.

• 52:11Caleb Hammer?

  Thousands of almost wife daxes?

• 52:13Speaker 03

My ex did at the time. And then when we broke up, my mom and I split the cost to buy him from her because he was my baby and he's my mom's grand pup.

• 52:21Caleb Hammer?

  When was this?

• 52:23Speaker 03

  Couple of years ago.

• 52:24Caleb Hammer?

Oh, how'd you pay for that?

• 52:27Speaker 03

Um, well, I went to a car accident. And I got a settlement from it, like 20,000. So I paid off my debt.

• 52:34Caleb Hammer?

But it's very topical. I'm not trying to be mean. When you fly.

• 52:38Speaker 03

Because my dad's bougie, so he only books me first class seats.

• 52:40Caleb Hammer?

  When you fly.

• 52:42Speaker 03

I fly coach. Are you kidding me? I'm poor.

• 52:44Caleb Hammer?

  Uh huh.

• 52:45Speaker 03

  I flew Southwest here.

• 52:46Caleb Hammer?

Uh huh. And that was with?

• 52:49Speaker 03

  My girlfriend.

• 52:50Caleb Hammer?

  One seat?

• 52:52Speaker 03

  What?

• 52:52Caleb Hammer?

  Seat.

• 52:53Speaker 03

One seat? Yes, I can fit in one seat.

• 52:56Caleb Hammer?

Okay. This is very topical right now because sometimes, sometimes people think they deserve.

• 53:01Speaker 03

And I don't need a seatbelt extender. Okay, I can buckle in. I don't. I can buckle in. Suck it in, you know?

• 53:07Caleb Hammer?

Okay, because some people think they should get a free extra.

• 53:10Speaker 03

No, I'm, are you kidding? I'm not like a fat advocate.

• 53:13Caleb Hammer?

  Wait, you beat your ex?

• 53:14Speaker 03

No, I did not beat my ex. I stopped her because she made out with someone in front of me.

• 53:20Speaker 03

  But.

• 53:21Caleb Hammer?

Abuse is always okay when it's women.

• 53:23Speaker 03

  It wasn't, it wasn't abusive.

• 53:26Caleb Hammer?

If I slapped my girlfriend, would they say I'm abusive?

• 53:29Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 53:30Caleb Hammer?

No, the answer is yes. You, are you serious?

• 53:34Speaker 03

Well, I don't know. It wasn't like that hard and I was really drunk and she was making out with someone.

• 53:38Caleb Hammer?

Guys, if I was really drunk and slapped my girlfriend, would it be abuse? These double standards are insane in our culture.

• 53:46Speaker 03

I did not beat her. I slapped her.

• 53:48Caleb Hammer?

  You fucking bam!

• 53:50Speaker 03

It was a little less aggressive than that, but.

• 53:52Caleb Hammer?

Well, that's what I think when I think of slap, reenact it.

• 53:54Speaker 03

It was like, she was like, oh, I just like loved making out with somebody else, blah, blah. And I was just like, but we had like, we like.

• 54:01Caleb Hammer?

No, it was not. No way it was that.

• 54:02Speaker 03

  It was like.

• 54:03Caleb Hammer?

  No, come on, be real.

• 54:05Speaker 03

  I am.

• 54:05Caleb Hammer?

  So it was that.

• 54:06Speaker 03

Not that. Like, yeah, I don't know. It wasn't that hard. It wasn't as hard as like you're like, like this, but.

• 54:12Caleb Hammer?

Brendan, can you bring your face into frame real quick?

• 54:15Speaker 03

  I'm not gonna slap him.

• 54:17Caleb Hammer?

No, he's given consent, didn't you?

• 54:20Speaker 03

  I did.

• 54:21Caleb Hammer?

Okay, reenact please. I want to know the exact metric of this slap.

• 54:25Speaker 03

I don't know which hand. Okay, let me use my dominant hand. I'm so sorry. I don't want to like hit you.

• 54:29Caleb Hammer?

  Take off your tools.

• 54:30Speaker 03

Yeah, I'm gonna take off my rings because I don't want to hurt you. Okay. That's substantial. I don't know how to like turn towards her.

• 54:35Caleb Hammer?

Look at her. No, there we go.

• 54:36Speaker 03

  Probably like that. Oh.

• 54:37Caleb Hammer?

  Were you just abused?

• 54:39Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 54:40Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, all right.

• 54:41Speaker 03

Well, I don't know. I feel like it's, we also like slapped each other a lot in the relationship like playfully. And I was really drunk, so it was like kind of part of that, but.

• 54:49Caleb Hammer?

Girl, you using this, I was really drunk argument does not work on the other side. I don't know why you think you get to keep using.

• 54:54Speaker 03

I don't know. I don't regret slapping her. She deserved it. She was a fuck. She stole money from me. She cheated. She did a lot of stuff, so. She deserved to be slapped.

• 55:03Caleb Hammer?

So how much do you owe to your dad?

• 55:04Speaker 03

Forty five hundred and three. How much does it say?

• 55:06Caleb Hammer?

  For what?

• 55:07Speaker 03

  I think I owe $4,000. I borrowed 3,500.

• 55:10Caleb Hammer?

Hey, this ex watches financial audit and.

• 55:13Speaker 03

  No, that's a different ex.

• 55:14Caleb Hammer?

You have a thousand almost wives. This is crazy. The way lesbians do this.

• 55:20Speaker 03

Watching financial audit? Fuck you. That ex, um.

• 55:24Caleb Hammer?

Oh, another one. Fuck you. It's almost like every relationship you're in.

• 55:26Speaker 03

She cheated on me and she was like holding. Anyways, so the ex.

• 55:31Caleb Hammer?

I can't wait for you to be saying this about the person you're almost marrying and moving to Mexico for. That's what you said about every single one of them while you were dating them.

• 55:38Speaker 03

All the follow up, you'll, you'll get wedding pictures.

• 55:41Caleb Hammer?

  Yes, but post divorce.

• 55:44Speaker 03

  I don't think so.

• 55:45Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so, okay, she watches financial audit and you're excited to find for her to see that you're in love.

• 55:51Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 55:52Caleb Hammer?

She's seen you in love a thousand times, though.

• 55:54Speaker 03

No, she hasn't. We broke up in January, so it was like recent.

• 55:58Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, my gosh.

• 55:58Speaker 03

  And we like, yeah.

• 56:00Caleb Hammer?

And then there's another one in spring and all this. This is crazy. What the fuck is wrong with you?

• 56:04Speaker 03

Was the situationship and I didn't like her like that. We just like, yeah, I don't know. We never dated or anything.

• 56:12Speaker 03

  I'm a you-ho lesbian. I'm sorry.

• 56:13Caleb Hammer?

  Yes, you are.

• 56:14Speaker 03

  It's a chronic condition.

• 56:15Caleb Hammer?

But that doesn't always end up good and you're literally changing your entire life for it.

• 56:19Speaker 03

I mean, if my girlfriend and I broke up, I would still live in Mexico. Like, the money is just better.

• 56:25Caleb Hammer?

  If you keep your job.

• 56:26Speaker 03

Yeah. Anyway, so my dad, I owe him $4,000.

• 56:31Caleb Hammer?

  For what possibly? Why?

• 56:32Speaker 03

I was a couple of months behind on my car payment.

• 56:35Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, my gosh, when?

• 56:37Speaker 03

I mean, I still am now.

• 56:38Caleb Hammer?

I saw your spending. It's. How can you borrow money from daddy? Daddy, give me money, please, while I'm going to blow money.

• 56:48Speaker 03

  This was in last November.

• 56:49Caleb Hammer?

Okay, and if I pull up November, what am I gonna see? A tit?

• 56:51Speaker 03

Not a lot of money. You wanna see it?

• 56:53Caleb Hammer?

I will see spending, will I not? You.

• 56:55Speaker 03

  Ah, but not like enough.

• 56:57Caleb Hammer?

I will still see spending. You cannot borrow money from daddy when you're spending on bullshit.

• 57:01Speaker 03

I had a lot of stuff and collections. I paid off my collections with that.

• 57:06Caleb Hammer?

Last month alone, bullshit spending was at minimum $800. I don't wanna fucking hear it.

• 57:12Speaker 03

  I.

• 57:12Caleb Hammer?

  Minimum!

• 57:14Speaker 03

That, I want an audit on that. I feel like that is not true.

• 57:17Caleb Hammer?

We're literally doing it right now. Are you stupid?

• 57:19Speaker 03

  Anyway.

• 57:20Caleb Hammer?

And then there's other large purchases of $1,612. We don't know what that is yet. And then there's unknown shopping of 327.

• 57:26Speaker 03

  How much did I spend?

• 57:27Caleb Hammer?

Bullshit. That could be bullshit and we will find out if that is bullshit. But we know for a literal fact, you spent a minimum, basically $800 on bullshit. How much did you spend? That's a great question. Could you tell me?

• 57:39Speaker 03

  I spent $4,000.

• 57:41Caleb Hammer?

You spent $4,642.34. You're borrowing $3,464. You spent 1,000 hours more than you make. Die.

• 57:49Speaker 03

How do I spend $1,000? No, it's more than I make when I don't have credit cards.

• 57:52Caleb Hammer?

It's interesting how that works, isn't it?

• 57:53Speaker 03

No, I actually don't understand because I don't have credit cards.

• 57:56Caleb Hammer?

Well, there's already a little money left over sometimes. We will go through it and I will show you. Interest goes up, a lot of things happen.

• 58:04Speaker 03

  Okay, it's concerning.

• 58:05Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so four thousand, this was from last November and you've done nothing?

• 58:09Speaker 03

Well, I paid him back like five hundred dollars so far.

• 58:13Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, and for a year?

• 58:14Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 58:14Caleb Hammer?

In a year, we paid five hundred?

• 58:16Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 58:16Caleb Hammer?

Of the, of, of four thousand five hundred.

• 58:18Speaker 03

But I'm gonna pay him back fully because he won't let me borrow from him again, him again until I pay it back.

• 58:23Caleb Hammer?

No, he shouldn't ever again because he's enabling you. You, you should face consequences for your actions and learn from them and you never will. Because Denny is there to save his precious little daughter.

• 58:34Speaker 03

Right now, he is, he has other kids that he's spending his money on right now, so I don't think he'd let me borrow money anyways.

• 58:39Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, chronically enabling. It's great. It's really healthy. It's gonna lead to great life skills for his kids.

• 58:46Speaker 03

I have a lot of great life skills.

• 58:48Caleb Hammer?

Dude, I don't see any of them.

• 58:50Speaker 03

It's because you don't know me.

• 58:51Caleb Hammer?

Well, tell me, what are your life skills?

• 58:52Speaker 03

I'm really good at public speaking. I am very like entrepreneur-y.

• 58:57Caleb Hammer?

You make three thousand hours a month?

• 58:59Speaker 03

  Yes, right now.

• 59:00Caleb Hammer?

  In San Diego?

• 59:01Speaker 03

  It's usually more, okay?

• 59:02Caleb Hammer?

But that's your average. You said average it out at three, so you get up, you get down, average three. You make three thousand hours a month. That is not indicative of an entrepreneur that is successful.

• 59:11Speaker 03

It's like the lower end of the average.

• 59:14Caleb Hammer?

So three thousand five hundred, very good. You're not doing well for San Diego.

• 59:18Speaker 03

  Anyways.

• 59:19Caleb Hammer?

Four thousand, you're not doing well for San Diego. Well, four thousand, maybe we can say that's doing halfway okay for San Diego.

• 59:28Caleb Hammer?

  No, honestly, still no.

• 59:30Speaker 03

I live in Mexico now, so what do you mean?

• 59:31Caleb Hammer?

  Because it's gross income.

• 59:33Speaker 03

Can you do me a favor, Caleb?

• 59:34Caleb Hammer?

No. Okay, so what else? What are your other skills?

• 59:37Speaker 03

I need you to open this for me.

• 59:39Caleb Hammer?

  No.

• 59:39Speaker 03

  I can't with my nails.

• 59:40Caleb Hammer?

Well, if it was a gamer subs, I would do it. Instead, you have an Awani, like a creature.

• 59:44Speaker 03

Well, should I go get one of the other ones?

• 59:46Caleb Hammer?

Yes. So what are your other skills? Clearly not being able to use your hands.

• 59:52Speaker 03

It's okay. I'm gonna figure it out. I'm gonna try to use my lip gloss.

• 59:54Caleb Hammer?

Can you tell me what your skills are?

• 59:56Speaker 03

Um, I'm really good at writing. I'm good at.

• 59:58Caleb Hammer?

How? You can't even open a bottle?

• 1:00:00Speaker 03

So I have nails on. I don't want to break one. Oh, my God. It's really.

• 1:00:04Caleb Hammer?

  What else?

• 1:00:05Speaker 03

Um, I'm really good at writing. I'm really good at public speaking.

• 1:00:09Caleb Hammer?

You're naming off the most generic, like, freshman in college skills. Do you have anything that's actually translated into the marketplace?

• 1:00:17Speaker 03

Yeah, my sales and my serving and then also I have.

• 1:00:20Caleb Hammer?

  Money for sales.

• 1:00:21Speaker 03

I have a lot of stuff that I'm doing. I'm just not doing it consistently enough to make money off of it, like content creation. I have a podcast.

• 1:00:28Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, you have a podcast?

• 1:00:29Speaker 03

  It's a true crime podcast.

• 1:00:30Caleb Hammer?

  Of course it is.

• 1:00:32Speaker 03

Like, I gotta open on my own guys.

• 1:00:33Caleb Hammer?

  And what's your monthly listeners?

• 1:00:35Speaker 03

Oh, I haven't published anything in a while, so like, nothing. Yeah, nothing right now.

• 1:00:40Caleb Hammer?

And you moved to Mexico, so you will be a subject of one very soon. Of a true crime podcast.

• 1:00:45Speaker 03

  Oh, I don't think so. I don't think I'm gonna get murdered.

• 1:00:48Caleb Hammer?

Just statistically more likely to, okay? So we don't have a minimum monthly payment agreement with Papa?

• 1:00:54Speaker 03

  Well, we did, but I.

• 1:00:55Caleb Hammer?

  What was it?

• 1:00:56Speaker 03

Didn't pay it. It was supposed to be like a hundred dollars a month, I think.

• 1:00:58Caleb Hammer?

I'm gonna put it at a hundred dollars a month.

• 1:00:59Speaker 03

  Put it in there.

• 1:01:00Caleb Hammer?

  I will.

• 1:01:01Speaker 03

Cause I wanna pay him back.

• 1:01:02Caleb Hammer?

Okay, I see 2002, an old apartment?

• 1:01:04Speaker 03

  Yeah, but they're not.

• 1:01:05Caleb Hammer?

Oh, your podcast is supposed to be with two other people, but you can't find anyone else to join you?

• 1:01:08Speaker 03

  No, like, one other person.

• 1:01:10Caleb Hammer?

And you can't find anyone else to join you?

• 1:01:11Speaker 03

No, because it's like a very niche thing.

• 1:01:14Caleb Hammer?

True crime, yeah, no one else does that.

• 1:01:16Speaker 03

  Queer person.

• 1:01:17Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, there's no queer people in the United States. Dude.

• 1:01:20Speaker 03

Well, cause it's someone I'm like friends with.

• 1:01:22Caleb Hammer?

Twenty-five percent of people identifying with queer.

• 1:01:25Speaker 03

If anyone wants to be on a podcast, find me. I don't know how they're gonna find me, but.

• 1:01:29Caleb Hammer?

Uh, you're not hard to see.

• 1:01:31Speaker 03

I know. But anyway, so my old apartments, I was behind on rent.

• 1:01:38Speaker 03

And I owe them, but they haven't come after me for it. So I think I'll be fine. We're not gonna put-

• 1:01:43Caleb Hammer?

  Probably go to collections.

• 1:01:44Speaker 03

  Well, I, they-

• 1:01:45Caleb Hammer?

And they could take you to court.

• 1:01:46Speaker 03

I was supposed to be able to log into the app to make small payments. And they don't, well, like I'm not able to get into the app and they haven't contacted me.

• 1:01:54Caleb Hammer?

  Have you contacted someone?

• 1:01:55Speaker 03

No, cause why am I gonna-

• 1:01:56Caleb Hammer?

  They haven't contacted you?

• 1:01:57Speaker 03

Why am I gonna contact them?

• 1:01:57Caleb Hammer?

To make your payments so it doesn't go to collections so you don't fall below 400?

• 1:02:00Speaker 03

We never had a payment agreement. It was just like, when I can make payments, I can make payments. It was never like this much a month.

• 1:02:05Caleb Hammer?

Okay. And what, you don't know what it was gonna be?

• 1:02:07Speaker 03

They were fine with me just paying whenever I could. It's like a really ghetto apartment.

• 1:02:10Caleb Hammer?

  Blow it all on bullshit.

• 1:02:12Speaker 03

Okay, I wanna put that with like the for laters. Cause I have a lot of stuff I need to pay off now, like my car. Like that, to my old apartment, I feel like that can be a later problem, like these two.

• 1:02:21Caleb Hammer?

It can be, but how long has it been?

• 1:02:23Speaker 03

Like two months. This is my most recent apartment.

• 1:02:25Caleb Hammer?

This was two months ago? What is wrong with you? So that's why it's not in collections yet? You're a mess. How, how, how, oh my gosh, and you're indicative of an entire group of people too. This is crazy. I don't know how we're gonna make it as a civilization. I really don't. I really don't. I really don't. And you're just blowing all your money, getting your bullshit. And you like the Alani?

• 1:02:45Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:02:46Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, so-

• 1:02:47Speaker 03

I probably need to like start buying cases.

• 1:02:50Caleb Hammer?

You don't need to stop buying, buying cases. Instead of making your coffee at home, instead of getting, stopping and getting your Dutch bros, make your coffee at home for cheap.

• 1:03:54Speaker 03

Caleb, what is this? Guacamole gamer fart?

• 1:03:57Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, they're very goony and this one's, uh, lean.

• 1:04:00Speaker 03

  Guacamole flavored?

• 1:04:02Caleb Hammer?

This one's lean with Steve Harvey on it. Um, is not racist.

• 1:04:06Speaker 03

I, I don't know. Cause then I have to like mix it with like ice and.

• 1:04:09Caleb Hammer?

No, just water. It's water. It's water. It's water. I know this is a lot of working out for you, but you just have to shake it up a little, dude.

• 1:04:18Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 1:04:18Caleb Hammer?

Instead of a $4 energy drink, are you?

• 1:04:21Speaker 03

  These are Costco.

• 1:04:22Caleb Hammer?

Links in the description. You guys do it. She won't cause she's broken. But get your energy drinks, make them at home, 25 cents a serving.

• 1:04:30Speaker 03

  Okay, next.

• 1:04:31Caleb Hammer?

So we don't know what our minimum payment is gonna be on that. Okay.

• 1:04:33Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:04:34Caleb Hammer?

  And dingo.

• 1:04:36Speaker 03

This is a mess Caleb. What are you doing?

• 1:04:38Caleb Hammer?

I wish you didn't touch my shit. Cause what if I need to go back to it and I know where it is?

• 1:04:42Speaker 03

  It's in the same order.

• 1:04:42Caleb Hammer?

I knew where it was. You absolute beast of a woman.

• 1:04:47Caleb Hammer?

Okay. Wow. We are over the limit.

• 1:04:49Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:04:49Caleb Hammer?

By $450. How the kid, did you even possibly achieve this?

• 1:04:52Speaker 03

  Well.

• 1:04:53Caleb Hammer?

So you owe $1,450.49. There's the limit of a thousand. What is wrong with you? You are a creature of the night.

• 1:05:01Speaker 03

I just haven't paid it in a while. So then.

• 1:05:02Caleb Hammer?

In a while? I would say so.

• 1:05:05Speaker 03

  So the interest added up.

• 1:05:08Caleb Hammer?

The interest payment is probably 50 bucks a month, but you currently owe 300, beast.

• 1:05:11Speaker 03

  60.

• 1:05:13Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, I'll say 60.

• 1:05:14Speaker 03

Cause I have it like, yeah.

• 1:05:17Caleb Hammer?

Yeah. Pass through a lot. Interest fees, bullshit, death, all accruing four years to pay off.

• 1:05:23Speaker 03

It also has a $250 yearly fee that I didn't know about because I don't know how to read.

• 1:05:28Caleb Hammer?

Why? What are you even getting with this card? I don't even know. It's a MasterCard of some kind. I don't know what comes with this.

• 1:05:33Speaker 03

  I don't know either.

• 1:05:34Caleb Hammer?

  Late fee there?

• 1:05:35Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:05:36Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, late, yeah, every month this year so far, of course, we're not, we're not even shocked.

• 1:05:41Speaker 03

I don't think it's every month because I got it in the spring.

• 1:05:42Caleb Hammer?

I'm pretty sure it's been every month since you've had it.

• 1:05:44Speaker 03

Probably. No, I think I've paid it twice.

• 1:05:46Caleb Hammer?

You tip. I don't think so. I doubt it. Highly doubt it. No. You're above the limit, accruing hundreds in interest. 35.9% interest rate of insanity, of insanity. What did you even use this card for? If you've over maxed it out since spring and don't make payment, since spring.

• 1:06:02Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 1:06:02Caleb Hammer?

Since almost three girlfriends ago. All right, let's talk about something most people straight up ignore. Your old 401K. Yeah, that retirement account from your last job that's just sitting there somewhere. Probably meant to roll it over months ago, but between job changes and figuring out how to adult, it got buried deeper than your New Year's resolution. Did you all even know that 25% of all 401K assets are lost or forgotten? That is your money just floating around and trying to roll it over? That's a whole circus of phone calls, paperwork, and maybe mailing a check like it's 1995. But Capitalize makes it stupid easy. It is a free concierge platform that helps you find your old 401K, open or link the IRA of your choice, and boom, they handle the rest.

• 1:06:44Caleb Hammer?

I didn't even have to know where my old account was. They tracked it down for me. So roll over your old 401K today, hit the link in the description, or go to hicapitalize.com/caleb. Your future self and your net worth will thank you. Wanna know a dirty little secret? And no, I'm not starting an only [BLEEP]. You're not broke because you suck with money. You just can't see where it's going. If your bank account is empty at the end of every month, that is not bad luck. That is bad tracking, and it's exactly why I use Dollar Wise. It shows you exactly where your money's going every single month. Spending, subscriptions, and savings all in one simple dashboard. Everything you need and nothing you don't. And when you download Dollar Wise today, you'll get six to try for free, plus three months for just $9.99.

• 1:07:28Caleb Hammer?

So you can finally take control and see what your money's been doing behind your back. Click below to get started.

• 1:07:33Speaker 03

  Um, I don't know. I don't remember.

• 1:07:37Caleb Hammer?

  Buddy, this is spring.

• 1:07:38Speaker 03

Probably like Dush Bros and Shopping Machine, maybe?

• 1:07:40Caleb Hammer?

Fine, pull it up. Pull up the app.

• 1:07:42Speaker 03

  I don't have the app.

• 1:07:43Caleb Hammer?

Are you, what is wrong with you?

• 1:07:45Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 1:07:46Caleb Hammer?

Deleting it doesn't delete the balance.

• 1:07:48Speaker 03

I never do. I don't think they have an app. This is like one of those.

• 1:07:50Caleb Hammer?

There's no way they do not have an app. You, oh my gosh.

• 1:07:53Speaker 03

There's not an option to download an app.

• 1:07:55Caleb Hammer?

You, there is something wrong with you and I don't understand it.

• 1:07:59Speaker 03

  I'm logging in.

• 1:08:00Caleb Hammer?

Has the diabetes made its way to the brain?

• 1:08:02Speaker 03

I actually don't have diabetes. I'm in very good health for being fat. I just went to the doctor. I have like great blood sugar and blood pressure and all that shit. It's because I do work out, even though I'm fat. I also work out, so.

• 1:08:15Caleb Hammer?

You will not want this at thirty, let me tell you.

• 1:08:17Speaker 03

No, I'm trying to lose weight. I'm actively losing weight. I've lost weight and I'm actively losing weight. In the post-show, you guys will see me skinnier.

• 1:08:25Speaker 03

So, not post-show, sorry. The, what is it called when you come back?

• 1:08:28Caleb Hammer?

  The follow-up.

• 1:08:28Speaker 03

  The follow-up, yeah.

• 1:08:29Caleb Hammer?

I hope so. Obviously I encourage it. Obviously I'm joking with you and I'm memeing on you and I got consent before we filmed. I directly asked.

• 1:08:36Speaker 03

  I'm downloading the statements.

• 1:08:37Caleb Hammer?

Well, I just want to see of.

• 1:08:40Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:08:40Caleb Hammer?

Your first month of this, using this card.

• 1:08:42Speaker 03

This is the first month. I don't think it was very long, so there's not like a lot of stuff. Oh my god. Ah, this is one like my, like my first. Actually, I don't know what I bought at that smoke shop. I do have a vape addiction. My vape died yesterday.

• 1:08:52Caleb Hammer?

Immediately put insurance on there for car and the book, Capitol at San Diego, Yogurtland, Jack in the Box, Red Eye Shop, Rose Donuts. It's all bullshit. It's all bullshit except for the car insurance. That was insane.

• 1:09:04Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:09:04Caleb Hammer?

That was insane. What is wrong with you? You are broken. You are broken. You are broken. You are broken. You are broken! Next statement. Next statement.

• 1:09:13Caleb Hammer?

Crab Hut, PayPal, Earth's Element, Mandarin House, Coco, Von San Diego. You're, you're, you're, this is all bullshit. Yeah, and then you're like, well, I can't, I'm paying, I'm so poor. Look at me, poor me. Shut up.

• 1:09:26Speaker 03

Well, I'm actually, it's not a while ago.

• 1:09:27Caleb Hammer?

A while ago? It was in the springtime.

• 1:09:30Speaker 03

It's a long time for me.

• 1:09:31Caleb Hammer?

Die, die, die. It was in the springtime. What the fuck?

• 1:09:34Speaker 03

It's a long time for me.

• 1:09:37Caleb Hammer?

It is true. When you live a much, much shorter statistical life, each year counts for a longer time.

• 1:09:43Speaker 03

  I know.

• 1:09:49Caleb Hammer?

  Capital one, credit one, sorry.

• 1:09:52Speaker 03

I do have a capital one, though. It's probably next.

• 1:09:55Caleb Hammer?

  Great. Oh, it's maxed out.

• 1:09:58Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:09:59Caleb Hammer?

It's over maxed out, over the limit, $449.20. Limit is 300. Minimum monthly payment is normally 60.

• 1:10:06Speaker 03

No, the minimum monthly payment is normally 30. I was just behind.

• 1:10:10Caleb Hammer?

But you, no, I'm just behind. Yeah, $129. Fine.

• 1:10:15Caleb Hammer?

What's wrong with you? Interest fees, late fee, interest, late fee every month this year. What's the point? When'd you get this? What was this spent on?

• 1:10:23Speaker 03

I got this one a couple of years ago, like when I first got a credit card.

• 1:10:26Caleb Hammer?

Has it been maxed out that long?

• 1:10:27Speaker 03

No, no, I'll, I'll pay. It's just been maxed out for the past like six months.

• 1:10:31Caleb Hammer?

What has changed in six months?

• 1:10:33Speaker 03

Well, I just wasn't making a lot of money and then my rent was really expensive. Work was really slow.

• 1:10:38Caleb Hammer?

It's almost like you are bad at this job.

• 1:10:40Speaker 03

No, I'm actually really good at this job. Like, like, it's been, like, I've had, like, we had a really good promotion and I sold a lot over the past couple of months.

• 1:10:47Caleb Hammer?

Sales, the only measure of you being good at a job is the number that comes in. You do not make great money for the area you live in. You are not good at this job. Or the job sucks and you need a different job. It is one of those two things and it's not anything else.

• 1:10:59Speaker 03

Well, I've been told by a lot of my clients.

• 1:11:01Caleb Hammer?

Your clients or tell you you're good at your job? That is not, great, that's better than a commission check. A gold stamp from a client.

• 1:11:08Speaker 03

Like, sometimes people aren't buying like $30,000 closets, you know, so.

• 1:11:12Caleb Hammer?

Dude, new job, new job, new job.

• 1:11:15Speaker 03

I want to get a second job. We'll talk about that later. I think.

• 1:11:18Caleb Hammer?

  Also in San Diego?

• 1:11:19Speaker 03

  Yeah, obviously.

• 1:11:20Caleb Hammer?

Because Mexico is not going to stretch far.

• 1:11:21Speaker 03

I'm not going to work in Mexico. I'm working in San Diego.

• 1:11:23Caleb Hammer?

Yeah. So are, are you ever even going to be in Mexico?

• 1:11:26Speaker 03

  Yeah, the Mexico.

• 1:11:26Caleb Hammer?

If you're already up there six days a week sometimes.

• 1:11:28Speaker 03

Well, I commute, like, I go back home.

• 1:11:31Caleb Hammer?

And it's a long ass commute, too.

• 1:11:33Speaker 03

Well, I don't work for very many hours. I work for like two hours.

• 1:11:36Caleb Hammer?

Well, maybe you work a better job.

• 1:11:39Speaker 03

  I love my job.

• 1:11:40Caleb Hammer?

  I don't care. I love paying bills.

• 1:11:43Speaker 03

I know, but I, I love my job. And my insurance, I get free therapy, Caleb.

• 1:11:47Caleb Hammer?

What? You can get that with a lot of insurances.

• 1:11:49Speaker 03

Not for free. I get to go so many times as I want.

• 1:11:51Caleb Hammer?

But even still, if you make substantially more and you have a copay for insurance, you still net make a lot more.

• 1:11:57Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 1:11:57Caleb Hammer?

I don't know. Okay, great one. Good one. Really, you really solved the issue.

• 1:12:01Speaker 03

I have Kaiser. It's good health insurance.

• 1:12:04Caleb Hammer?

It doesn't, it's not necessarily the company, it is the plan within the company that matters.

• 1:12:08Speaker 03

I only pay a hundred dollars.

• 1:12:09Caleb Hammer?

No, it sounds like you have a good health insurance, but still, you can still net more.

• 1:12:13Speaker 03

And I get mileage reimbursements. I have really good benefits at my job. I just need a second job. I need two of them.

• 1:12:19Caleb Hammer?

The people who think benefits that count for honestly pennies on the dollar are more important than the actual money that is being made, are why those companies are able to pay you less to stick there.

• 1:12:29Speaker 03

I think I got paid good.

• 1:12:31Caleb Hammer?

You think it's valued more than it is. Good benefits are important.

• 1:12:33Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:12:34Caleb Hammer?

But still, if you make more money at the end of the day, after benefits and everything, and copays and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, gas even.

• 1:12:40Speaker 03

  I get gas reimbursement.

• 1:12:41Caleb Hammer?

That's what I'm saying. Oh, she's, oh, you are so.

• 1:12:45Speaker 03

I lost track of what you were saying.

• 1:12:47Caleb Hammer?

No, you're actually, I think you might actually be stupid and that is concerning.

• 1:12:51Speaker 03

  Sometimes.

• 1:12:51Caleb Hammer?

That is concerning because no one else would do what you're doing, so.

• 1:12:54Speaker 03

Wait, why? Because I'm commuting a lot?

• 1:12:58Caleb Hammer?

Just your entire life, what you're doing, the structure, just your cope for the reason you're leaving. Like if you're, if you're leaving, I've always wanted to live in Mexico.

• 1:13:08Speaker 03

  Well, I have.

• 1:13:08Caleb Hammer?

I can vibe with that, but your reasonings behind the leave America were stupid. You are not a smart individual.

• 1:13:16Speaker 03

  Thank you.

• 1:13:17Caleb Hammer?

  Capital one.

• 1:13:18Speaker 03

This one I got when I got the Indigo Mastercard.

• 1:13:21Caleb Hammer?

  So.

• 1:13:22Speaker 03

  Recently.

• 1:13:23Caleb Hammer?

Early? Good. Bring up your first month. Believe it or not, she's over the limit. $281.92 with a $200 limit. Minimum payment is $25. She actually made a payment, surprisingly. $343 at the beginning, then fees and interest because she was still late, past due. Past due every month she's had the card and interest accruing like shit.

• 1:13:48Caleb Hammer?

No one is surprised. You just can't manage debt to save your life. I like, I just, I don't know. Like I.

• 1:13:58Caleb Hammer?

I feel like you're gonna even have less incentive to pay your shit cuz you're already

• 1:14:06Caleb Hammer?

you're leaving so it's just like

• 1:14:08Speaker 03

No, I'm still gonna wanna pay it.

• 1:14:10Caleb Hammer?

I know, but I feel like you're gonna feel less of a need to.

• 1:14:12Speaker 03

No, I feel more of a need to now that I've moved. Because now I actually have like more money and I wanna get my shit paid off.

• 1:14:19Caleb Hammer?

Why do you wanna pay your shit off?

• 1:14:21Speaker 03

Um, because I want better credit. I wanna buy a house. I like

• 1:14:24Caleb Hammer?

  Where?

• 1:14:25Speaker 03

In, well, in Mexico, it doesn't matter. My credit is called, so I'll get new credit, but I wanna buy houses in America too and like Airbnb them and stuff.

• 1:14:31Caleb Hammer?

Oh, my gosh. Oh, she's, she's, okay.

• 1:14:35Speaker 03

  What the is my username?

• 1:14:38Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 1:14:38Speaker 03

  We're having technical difficulties.

• 1:14:40Caleb Hammer?

No, you're having brain difficulties. That's how this conversation has been defined. And if you don't change your behavior anyway, the moment you start working on your credit in Mexico, you're gonna immediately tank it.

• 1:14:50Speaker 03

  Um.

• 1:14:50Caleb Hammer?

  Without changing your behavior.

• 1:14:52Speaker 03

Well, I'm pretty sure they like, you really don't wanna fuck up on your credit there cuz they'll handle you.

• 1:14:58Speaker 03

So, like the bank will like, yeah, so you really gotta pay him back.

• 1:15:02Caleb Hammer?

  They'll kill you?

• 1:15:03Speaker 03

Well, I mean, I guess it depends on who you borrow from, but.

• 1:15:06Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, if you borrow from a gang.

• 1:15:09Caleb Hammer?

What, do, do, do the cartels own the bank? Is that a thing? Like, I don't know. I'm not much into the lore.

• 1:15:14Speaker 03

Either, but they do. Like, if you own a business down there, you have to pay the cartel.

• 1:15:17Caleb Hammer?

  In every city?

• 1:15:18Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm. Yeah.

• 1:15:20Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 1:15:21Speaker 03

I'm just having technical difficulties, so I have to do a whole thing to log in.

• 1:15:26Caleb Hammer?

  So weird.

• 1:15:27Speaker 03

  I can multitask though.

• 1:15:28Caleb Hammer?

Drive just a few hours and all of a sudden we're there. It's so crazy how different a society can be. In just a few hours.

• 1:15:35Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:15:36Caleb Hammer?

Uh, uh, what is this, a firm? What I'm looking at here?

• 1:15:39Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:15:40Caleb Hammer?

  Klarna.

• 1:15:41Speaker 03

Oh, well, I do. Are the other ones on there? They should be.

• 1:15:44Caleb Hammer?

  Pull up your Klarna.

• 1:15:45Speaker 03

Hold on, I'm still trying to get the

• 1:15:46Caleb Hammer?

  No, I've moved on.

• 1:15:47Speaker 03

  Okay, I'm sorry.

• 1:15:48Caleb Hammer?

I know it's all bullshit you said, and I'm not surprised at all. Hundred and fifty-two dollars and twenty-six cents owned on Klarna.

• 1:15:57Speaker 03

I did put the rental car on there.

• 1:15:59Caleb Hammer?

Amazon, Amazon, Amazon. Now, okay, pull up, uh, Turo? You paid for Turo?

• 1:16:03Speaker 03

Well, it's because I got, I got a rental car for this trip.

• 1:16:08Speaker 03

But I'm gonna pay it with the reimbursement I'm getting. It's because Ubers would have been more expensive.

• 1:16:12Caleb Hammer?

Pull up your Amazon, you f- what's wrong with you?

• 1:16:17Speaker 03

  Um, orders.

• 1:16:19Caleb Hammer?

  Minimum payment's like fifty bucks.

• 1:16:21Speaker 03

  Right here.

• 1:16:21Caleb Hammer?

Eh, like thirty, thirty, uh, thirty dollars. Okay. She has nineteen things in her cart right now. Oh, my God. Okay, resistance bands, yoga mat, that's good, as long as you're actually using them.

• 1:16:33Speaker 03

  I am.

• 1:16:34Caleb Hammer?

Because I'm already going through here and I'm already seeing a lot of workout things. I don't want you to do that pre-overinvestment.

• 1:16:38Speaker 03

No, it's because I used to go to Pilates.

• 1:16:39Caleb Hammer?

  Sponge pack, Pilates ring set.

• 1:16:41Speaker 03

And it was two hundred dollars a month.

• 1:16:43Caleb Hammer?

  Another mat, another stretch thing.

• 1:16:44Speaker 03

So I canceled that and now I'm gonna do it at home.

• 1:16:46Caleb Hammer?

And then more, oh, you love to talk right when I talk about things that no one wants to hear.

• 1:16:49Speaker 03

  It wasn't responsible, you said.

• 1:16:51Caleb Hammer?

  You're still going, sponges.

• 1:16:53Speaker 03

  I needed those sponges.

• 1:16:56Caleb Hammer?

And then in the cart, we have a cutting board, endless dye, more dye.

• 1:17:02Speaker 03

  It's for Christmas presents.

• 1:17:03Caleb Hammer?

Fake cacti or real cacti, I don't even know, molds, more molds, lots of molds, letter molds, letters, numbers, soy wax, a protective case for a laptop, plus-size homecoming dresses, strapless, white satin. Okay.

• 1:17:22Speaker 03

  Dress.

• 1:17:22Caleb Hammer?

Uh, zero-sugar strawberry and cherry-flavored snack pack, uh, Zaffy Taffy, zero-sugar taffy, sugar-free candy, sugar-free Jolly Ranchers. Those aren't half-bad, uh, shameless snacks. And then you're getting a little, the stroofoffles.

• 1:17:40Speaker 03

  I.

• 1:17:41Caleb Hammer?

You're trying, you're really trying to.

• 1:17:43Speaker 03

I put stuff in my car, like, in case I want to buy it, but it's not like I'm gonna go buy all this stuff.

• 1:17:48Caleb Hammer?

And a Mamey beans. You know, I'm gonna be honest, I know I haven't, like, lost, like, enough to be, like, the, this big.

• 1:17:55Speaker 03

How much weight have you lost?

• 1:17:57Caleb Hammer?

Uh, I'm weighing in Thursday, I'm prob- I'm prob- I think I'm close to about.

• 1:18:00Speaker 03

  I've lost eighty pounds.

• 1:18:02Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, eighty, yeah, but it depends on where we start, right?

• 1:18:04Speaker 03

Yeah, but I'm saying, like, I have lost.

• 1:18:06Caleb Hammer?

I bet you're a yo-yo-er. The thing is, I've been through that process and now I'm through a process that's a bit more sustainable, but it's longer and I'm losing weight.

• 1:18:12Speaker 03

  I got on medication.

• 1:18:13Caleb Hammer?

I've been through the, okay, I'm just gonna replace the foods with healthier versions of the same food. That's not necessarily what's gonna win, because you're still not working on the, the binge, the eat. This is a more sustainable life, more, like, it doesn't necessarily mean, like, the food you have can't be.

• 1:18:30Speaker 03

  It's all about. Moderation.

• 1:18:32Caleb Hammer?

It's moderation. It's working and building those habits and actually living a healthy, sustainable life. Not replacing the food with the same amount, but just as bad or but slightly healthier versions.

• 1:18:42Speaker 03

  I.

• 1:18:42Caleb Hammer?

  Sugar free versions.

• 1:18:43Speaker 03

Yeah, well, it depends. Like I try to balance with like some like low fat, low calorie versions with like the real stuff like. You know, like I eat a lot of Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for tuna.

• 1:18:53Caleb Hammer?

And also 20 pounds starting at 230 versus 80 pounds starting at 600 is substantially.

• 1:18:59Speaker 03

Definitely did not start at 600, but.

• 1:19:02Caleb Hammer?

  Where'd you start?

• 1:19:03Speaker 03

I'm not gonna put that on camera. It's not 600, though.

• 1:19:08Speaker 03

  So it was not 600. It's a lot. Wasn't wasn't 500 or 400 either.

• 1:19:14Caleb Hammer?

  300?

• 1:19:15Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:19:15Caleb Hammer?

  Something?

• 1:19:16Speaker 03

  Yeah. Yeah.

• 1:19:18Caleb Hammer?

  That's crazy.

• 1:19:19Speaker 03

  I know. That's what I'm saying.

• 1:19:20Caleb Hammer?

How do you even achieve that?

• 1:19:22Speaker 03

Um, I smoked a lot of weed and just binge ate a lot during COVID.

• 1:19:26Caleb Hammer?

And Cash App. I know this is where you do a lot of your spending from. When I looked at the statement from when you took off your payday loan, a lot of your spending was through Cash App.

• 1:19:33Speaker 03

It's because Cash App is on my Apple Pay, so I.

• 1:19:36Caleb Hammer?

I would honestly rather use Chime anyway, because when you set up direct deposit with Chime using our link, you get hundreds of dollars to sign on bonuses. So get those and then pay off your payday loan. You'll get the reward for signing up with direct deposit through Chime.

• 1:19:48Speaker 03

  I'll do.

• 1:19:48Caleb Hammer?

Cause it works just like Cash App. Do that and then use that and just pay off your payday loan with it.

• 1:19:53Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:19:53Caleb Hammer?

Love getting that rewards for signing up, ladies and gentlemen. Why not? Yep. Who's surprises? Dutch Bros, Netflix, Extra Finance, I think that's making a payment, Apple Bill, Dutch Bros, Dutch Bros, Amazon, Dutch Bros, McDonald's, Dutch Bros, Dutch Bros, make your coffee at home, make your energy drinks at home. I don't understand this. You don't have money. You don't like money. You're you have debt to pay off. You owe your debt D money. Starbucks, Dutch Bros, K Street, go in and get in some bullshit. Google One. That's okay. Dutch Bros better. Buzz. This is.

• 1:20:27Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:20:27Caleb Hammer?

  And I don't understand why.

• 1:20:28Speaker 03

  Okay, but.

• 1:20:29Caleb Hammer?

  You have to do this.

• 1:20:29Speaker 03

  Okay, but.

• 1:20:30Caleb Hammer?

  Ross Stores, Prime Video.

• 1:20:32Speaker 03

Wait, Dutch Bros this month was only a hundred and forty dollars.

• 1:20:35Caleb Hammer?

  Die.

• 1:20:36Speaker 03

And I thought it was like 600.

• 1:20:38Caleb Hammer?

  Payday loan. I don't give a.

• 1:20:39Speaker 03

So I'm really proud of myself.

• 1:20:40Caleb Hammer?

Guys, if if I thought I only murder, if I thought I murdered four people, but I only murdered three, I guess that's okay. Shut the up. I don't give a shit what you thought it was. Any amount of money spent on Dutch Bros and you can make your damn coffee at home and honestly takes better.

• 1:20:53Speaker 03

  I don't think so.

• 1:20:54Caleb Hammer?

  Well, then you're bad.

• 1:20:56Speaker 03

I am really bad. I'm making.

• 1:20:57Caleb Hammer?

  Watch YouTube videos.

• 1:20:58Speaker 03

Also, before we get into the car loan, I really have to pee.

• 1:21:01Caleb Hammer?

  Diabetes told you.

• 1:21:03Speaker 03

That's because I drink a lot of stuff. So can I?

• 1:21:05Caleb Hammer?

Pause. Urination. Also, you only know the number because Lindsay told you.

• 1:21:12Speaker 03

Yeah, I thought it was a lot higher.

• 1:21:14Caleb Hammer?

  My gosh.

• 1:21:15Speaker 03

  So.

• 1:21:16Caleb Hammer?

  All right.

• 1:21:16Speaker 03

  Proud of myself.

• 1:21:17Caleb Hammer?

  Crazy dude.

• 1:21:18Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:21:18Caleb Hammer?

  What is this?

• 1:21:19Speaker 03

  Car payment.

• 1:21:19Caleb Hammer?

What is this that you owe to? A car? You have a 20,000 hour car? You can't even afford?

• 1:21:23Speaker 03

  It's not 20,000. It was.

• 1:21:25Speaker 00

• 1:21:59Speaker 03

Yeah, because I'm always late and the interest is 29%.

• 1:22:02Caleb Hammer?

And they put it at the back. Oh, you.

• 1:22:05Speaker 03

This is why I'm here, because I really want your advice on this.

• 1:22:08Caleb Hammer?

Oh, my advice on all of this is change your behavior, get a better job. I don't care. And then she talks over.

• 1:22:13Speaker 03

  I'm sorry.

• 1:22:13Caleb Hammer?

Okay, great. I want your advice on this. I start to give two points and immediately interrupted. Fuck you. What are you doing? What is wrong with you? What is the car?

• 1:22:21Speaker 03

  It's an Nissan Rogue.

• 1:22:22Caleb Hammer?

  Year?

• 1:22:23Speaker 03

  2016.

• 1:22:23Caleb Hammer?

What do you think it's worth when you owe $20,281.54?

• 1:22:27Speaker 03

  I think it's worth 12,000.

• 1:22:28Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, it's worth $6,710.

• 1:22:30Speaker 03

  Are you kidding me?

• 1:22:31Caleb Hammer?

  Welcome to Kelly Boob Book.

• 1:22:32Speaker 03

Damn, that's rough. Like, under a lot. Shit.

• 1:22:36Caleb Hammer?

And we know it's under a lot of pressure.

• 1:22:40Caleb Hammer?

What's your minimum? Yeah, late fee, late fee, late fee, late fee, late fee.

• 1:22:44Speaker 03

582 is my monthly minimum payment.

• 1:22:48Caleb Hammer?

  What's the interest rate?

• 1:22:48Speaker 03

  29%.

• 1:22:52Speaker 03

I mentioned it. You just missed it.

• 1:22:54Caleb Hammer?

  No.

• 1:22:55Speaker 03

Yeah. But, okay, to be fair, to be fair, I really needed a car and I feel like 29% isn't, because like credit.

• 1:23:02Caleb Hammer?

  You needed a $20,000 car.

• 1:23:04Speaker 03

I thought that it was 29% over the whole thing. I didn't know it was per year because I'm stupid. Yeah.

• 1:23:10Caleb Hammer?

  What?

• 1:23:12Speaker 03

I didn't have my mommy go with me.

• 1:23:16Caleb Hammer?

  We live in the information.

• 1:23:20Speaker 03

  I know.

• 1:23:20Caleb Hammer?

  Era.

• 1:23:21Speaker 03

  Googled it.

• 1:23:21Caleb Hammer?

Google Jeep G rock fucking was everything. You can learn everything.

• 1:23:28Speaker 03

Yeah. Yeah. I really needed a car, though.

• 1:23:30Caleb Hammer?

Okay, you didn't need a car that was twice as expensive as what you could have gotten.

• 1:23:34Speaker 03

I could have gotten a shitty car, but, but it is a really nice car and I'm really happy with it. So.

• 1:23:39Caleb Hammer?

  I don't give a you're late endlessly.

• 1:23:41Speaker 03

  I know.

• 1:23:42Caleb Hammer?

It's only worth 25% of what you owe.

• 1:23:44Speaker 03

Crazy. I did not know that. So.

• 1:23:46Caleb Hammer?

  Crazy.

• 1:23:47Speaker 03

  So what is your advice?

• 1:23:49Caleb Hammer?

I don't know. I'm gathering the full picture. The advice is one, get a better job because you're. Two, don't spend any money on anything ever.

• 1:23:58Speaker 03

  No more dash bros.

• 1:24:00Speaker 03

  Maybe like.

• 1:24:00Caleb Hammer?

No. Okay. Die, die, die, die, die, die, die, die, die.

• 1:24:07Caleb Hammer?

No. How do you think you get to justify anything? You're behind on everything. This makes no sense.

• 1:24:11Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:24:12Caleb Hammer?

  You're broken.

• 1:24:13Speaker 03

  It's valid.

• 1:24:14Caleb Hammer?

Maybe you need the threat of death behind you for, from a bank for you to actually make your payments.

• 1:24:20Speaker 03

  I would pay that.

• 1:24:21Caleb Hammer?

Put 60,000 miles on them one year. Yeah. You're, I mean, you're doing.

• 1:24:24Speaker 03

I drive a lot. I drive a lot for work too.

• 1:24:31Speaker 03

It was aggressive. You're chewing on pens is bad for your teeth, Caleb.

• 1:24:34Caleb Hammer?

Die. McDonald's every five minutes. Your life is bad for your health.

• 1:24:39Speaker 03

Actually, I'm not a huge fan of McDonald's.

• 1:24:40Caleb Hammer?

  Mm hmm.

• 1:24:42Speaker 03

  So.

• 1:24:42Caleb Hammer?

Oh, good. I believe I see, uh, not Klarna, the other one.

• 1:24:47Speaker 03

Affirm or zip or something. Yeah. They don't let me use it anymore.

• 1:24:51Caleb Hammer?

  Overdue, overdue, overdue.

• 1:24:53Speaker 03

They kicked me off of using it because my credit score went down.

• 1:24:56Caleb Hammer?

  Good.

• 1:24:56Speaker 03

So I'm not paying them right now.

• 1:24:57Caleb Hammer?

Never be having access to any debt ever again for the rest of your life.

• 1:25:03Speaker 03

What if I make better decisions? Then can I, if I change?

• 1:25:06Caleb Hammer?

Better positions for a long time. Yes. Okay. Affirm. $129.84. I don't know.

• 1:25:15Speaker 03

I just don't want to pay them because they won't let me have more money. So.

• 1:25:18Caleb Hammer?

  What an entitled.

• 1:25:19Speaker 03

  I know, but.

• 1:25:20Caleb Hammer?

You signed the paperwork you did.

• 1:25:23Speaker 03

It's not like a lot of money. So. I feel like that's a later problem.

• 1:25:27Caleb Hammer?

Again, you literally get more than that setting up direct deposit with Chime with my link. I mean, that's just like.

• 1:25:31Speaker 03

Yeah, well, I'll use that money that I got.

• 1:25:33Caleb Hammer?

  Exactly. That's what I'm saying. Saving $6.95.

• 1:25:38Speaker 03

  It's 27 now.

• 1:25:39Caleb Hammer?

Conquering the world. 287 in checking. That's wonderful. Shocking. No overdraft fees this year.

• 1:26:19Speaker 03

  It's not.

• 1:26:19Caleb Hammer?

  It is not that good.

• 1:26:20Speaker 03

Have you ever been to Washington? Go to Dick's Drive-In. Yeah. Dick's Drive-In is superior for like burger places.

• 1:26:25Caleb Hammer?

  Shake Shake's superior.

• 1:26:26Speaker 03

• 1:28:27Caleb Hammer?

You are a broken individual. You are a broken and you are gonna die before 30.

• 1:28:32Speaker 03

No, I'm not. I'm not gonna die before 30.

• 1:28:34Caleb Hammer?

Dude, you're vaping, you're energy drinking, and you are morbidly obese. You are gonna die before 30.

• 1:28:39Speaker 03

Well, I'm gonna lose weight and I am gonna quit smoking.

• 1:28:41Caleb Hammer?

  And you've moved to Mexico.

• 1:28:42Speaker 03

I am quitting vaping when my mom quit smoking. I made a deal with her because I want her to quit smoking.

• 1:28:46Caleb Hammer?

Great, yeah, let's make you depend on someone else.

• 1:28:48Speaker 03

  And I barely started vaping.

• 1:28:48Caleb Hammer?

You are so broken, your logic on everything is so broken, you are so done, you are never gonna make progress. Wix, you pay for a website, you're stupid.

• 1:29:20Speaker 03

How long does it usually take?

• 1:29:21Caleb Hammer?

Uh, three, six months, whenever you fucking want.

• 1:29:24Speaker 03

Yeah, I think I'll make it that long. Maybe a year or not.

• 1:29:26Caleb Hammer?

Keep chugging that caffeine. $1,177 is your minimum payments, which is a third of your income, of which I'm making $3,500.

My phone bill is a hundred and sixty dollars. I just got an iPad on it for work, so.

Switch to helium if T-Mobile's good in your area. I don't know how that works with Mexico, so I don't know, but it's good for most people here. Subscriptions, I'll try to say twenty five dollars. Let's see if this even works. If not, then just good luck.

• 1:30:56Speaker 03

Job. I think that's where it's gonna end up.

• 1:30:58Caleb Hammer?

Better job. You need a real career.

• 1:31:00Speaker 03

My job is a career job.

• 1:31:01Caleb Hammer?

Dude, shut up. I'm sorry. You see, and this is why I'm borderline like giving up. You see how you're just incapable of working?

• 1:31:09Speaker 03

I would rather get another job.

• 1:31:10Caleb Hammer?

You technically have a room of like a hundred dollars if you bring in thirty, five hundred. You said you bring in three, so like, I don't even know. You're either behind or you're not. Let's pretend you make a hundred. Very good, very good. You make a hundred? That's wonderful. Of your total debt, uh, twenty six thousand, six hundred forty nine dollars and seventy seven cents divided by a hundred. Okay, divided by twelve. Yeah, that takes you two hundred, what was that, twenty two years to pay off?

• 1:31:31Speaker 03

  If I do minimum payments?

• 1:31:32Caleb Hammer?

Listen, here's the thing. Here's the thing. Can't even say you're fucking voluntary. Okay, yeah.

• 1:31:38Speaker 03

Okay, really quick retirement? So at my, matches that? No, okay. And then?

• 1:31:43Caleb Hammer?

You can't afford to pay bills. I don't like.

• 1:31:45Speaker 03

And then, um, I want to pay my car off ASAP.

• 1:31:50Caleb Hammer?

  No, no.

• 1:31:51Speaker 03

So, well, how do you suggest when I have extra money? What do I put it towards? What is your recommendation?

• 1:31:55Caleb Hammer?

No. Now can I actually give my thoughts instead of you trying to lead the conversation? Thank you. This is a hundred percent what I would do in your situation. Situation, you're completely, your credits are, they don't see the point. I had voluntary repo, you're gonna owe money. Then you're gonna get a horrible predatory loan on a not so great $10,000 car that you're gonna drive for a couple of years. As you get pre-approved by multiple mechanics that it will not fall apart for a couple of years. It is safety driven and you are going to, and this is post your voluntary repo. And then after you already have that, then you are gonna, after you change your behavior, proven for three months, don't pay on your debt anymore. Just don't, three months, then declare bankruptcy.

• 1:32:29Speaker 03

You suggested declare bankruptcy? I don't have that much debt though.

• 1:32:32Caleb Hammer?

Dude, are you, with the money you have left over, it takes 22 years, your credit's already.

• 1:32:36Speaker 03

Okay, but I can make more money.

• 1:32:37Caleb Hammer?
