• 1:52Speaker 02

Hey Joey, welcome to Conan O'Brien Needs a Fan with Conan O'Brien.

• 1:56Speaker 03

  Hey, thanks for having me.

• 1:56Conan O'Brien?

  Hey Joey, how are you?

• 1:58Speaker 03

  Pretty good, how are you?

• 1:59Conan O'Brien?

I'm good. You know, it's so funny, because I was told just before I got on with you that I've met this gentleman before, this Joey guy, and I thought, well, I won't remember that, because I meet so many people all the time. And then, uh, someone said, "Yeah, you were at a bookstore in Cambridge, Mass", and he took a quick film of you, and I remembered it, because it was so unusual. You were very nice, and you said, "Hey Conan, nice to meet you, can I take a quick film of you", and you held up a very cool home movie camera. Yes! Oh, what? Look at that!

• 2:38Speaker 03

  This is the one.

• 2:38Conan O'Brien?

  What year is that from?

• 2:40Speaker 03

  Maybe 75?

• 2:41Conan O'Brien?

So Joey, really cool to see you again, and I love that you

• 2:45Speaker 03

  You too.

• 2:45Conan O'Brien?

uh, walked the earth like Johnny Appleseed, taking little clips of people. What did you do with, um, my clip? And can I sue you?

• 2:54Speaker 03

  I've been sued before, so...

• 2:56Conan O'Brien?

  Oh.

• 2:57Speaker 03

I don't know how much you're gonna get for me.

• 2:58Conan O'Brien?

Well, I see some cool stuff behind you, and I want it.

• 3:01Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:01Conan O'Brien?

Joey, uh, what did you end up doing with that clip? Did you, uh, release it anywhere, or is it just in your vault?

• 3:08Speaker 03

I'm using it for the film about my life.

• 3:10Conan O'Brien?

  Is that true?

• 3:10Speaker 03

  So, yeah.

• 3:11Conan O'Brien?

Okay, well, I'd like to see a piece of that when it comes out, you know?

• 3:15Speaker 03

You'll have to wait a few years.

• 3:16Conan O'Brien?

That's okay, I'm excited about that. All right, tell us about yourself, Joey. It says here that you're a film preservationist, you're in Toronto right now. Um, there are obviously film preservationists that say work on, uh, the director's cut of Lawrence of Arabia and try and restore it. Um, you've had some experience with that, but mostly you focus on people's home movies, is that correct?

• 3:37Speaker 03

That's right. I love home movies so much.

• 3:39Conan O'Brien?

  And you love them, why?

• 3:41Speaker 03

I think that microhistory is so much more telling and fascinating than macrohistory. I mean, I know you studied history, so... I just think that, I think they're one of the coolest historical documents to ever exist. And there's, there are so many universal themes in home movies. But then there's so many like little individual things that you can tell just about a, a family or, or, you know, relationship dynamics and.

• 4:09Conan O'Brien?

  Yeah.

• 4:09Speaker 03

  I don't know, it's just.

• 4:10Conan O'Brien?

  Well, I.

• 4:11Speaker 03

  They're really beautiful.

• 4:12Conan O'Brien?

I love seeing, you know, home movies from the 1930s, the 1940s, 50s, 60s. Because I know what you're saying. You can read about history, but when you see someone's grainy old footage of their Christmas, and you really see what people are wearing, what the furniture looks like, how many like electrical cords are going into the wall in some unsafe way. What, really? Well, yeah, you just, you just see these little things that don't exist now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And, um, and you see mannerisms and also you see, I think people have become very,

• 4:54Conan O'Brien?

media savvy and camera savvy and, you know, everyone has a, has a, has a video device in their pocket right now, their phone. And everybody's very aware and knows how to behave. And there's a real innocence when you see that old footage. People wave at the camera, they're excited. And I love, I'm addicted to, um, Instagram is always serving me up, film that was taken in like 1903 in New York. Because I just look at how people walk, how they dress, um, the kind of, and they're very, they're kind of shy, but sometimes they're very excited.

• 5:36Conan O'Brien?

They're not knowing and ironic and cynical about the camera, the way people can be now. Is that true?

• 5:44Speaker 03

I think that's pretty true. Yeah, I was watching the Mel Brooks documentary, um, which you did great interviews for. And it's just so fascinating to see like Mel Brooks shooting Super 8 footage on the beach. And all the people behind him are so excited and they're waving and people are smiling. And today, people get so annoyed. They don't know what you're gonna do with the footage. And it's just like, people are oversaturated with video content, I guess.

• 6:09Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, it doesn't feel like it's not special anymore. Whereas when you look at really old home movie footage, there's kind of a, oh, wow, they've got a moving camera. And, you know, even when, because the Kennedy family, uh, it was a wealth, very wealthy family. And Joe Kennedy senior worked in Hollywood making motion pictures. He had access to really nice color film cameras. And so there's all this really cool footage of, you know, John F. Kennedy and his brothers and sisters goofing around in front of a really great, uh, color film camera in the late 30s and early 40s. And you, you can exactly be there. You know, you can be there.

• 6:53Conan O'Brien?

A lot of them are taken in Florida. And you're just like, oh, wow, I am there. I'm seeing exactly what's happening. You're not removed from it. You're, you're in that moment.

• 7:03Speaker 03

It feels like being in the present, even though you're transporting yourself to the past. It feel, I rarely feel such a strong sense of presence than when I'm watching home movies.

• 7:15Conan O'Brien?

So people will take their home movies. They'll bring them to you. And sometimes they have odd requests, don't they?

• 7:23Speaker 03

Yeah. Uh, some people have bad relationships with their siblings. So, uh, I've had a few people say, uh, can you cut my sister out of this footage? She's a bitch.

• 7:35Speaker 01

No, we can't do that. Can you do that?

• 7:39Conan O'Brien?

I would, I mean, that's, first of all, you can do it.

• 7:42Speaker 03

It costs extra, but I can do it.

• 7:43Speaker 01

  Oh, my God.

• 7:44Conan O'Brien?

Now, when you say cut them out, you mean you, you remove those pieces of film? Or you do some AI trick where you remove their image and replace it with a refrigerator?

• 7:55Speaker 03

I it's it's I spend a very long time figuring out exactly how to crop the images or mirror the images so that I can get just the the person who gave me the footage and like their parents who have passed away and the sister might be on the side and sometimes I make the the edges fuzzy to get to remove their faces.

• 8:17Conan O'Brien?

Do you ever add like instead of cutting them out add devil horns?

• 8:22Speaker 03

  Yeah, on request.

• 8:24Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, devil horns, a Hitler mustache to like a brother or a sister, you know.

• 8:30Conan O'Brien?

  That is so strange.

• 8:32Speaker 01

I would think you'd want to cut out all all your siblings so you could live out your fantasies of being an only child.

• 8:37Conan O'Brien?

That's right. Yeah, yeah. And then add multiple parents that all love me.

• 8:46Conan O'Brien?

And parents from like Leave It To Beaver, The Brady Bunch, everyone, just hundreds of parents that love, just filled with adoration.

• 8:54Speaker 01

  Just all these fictitious characters.

• 8:56Conan O'Brien?

Oh, and put like a Jesus halo behind my head.

• 9:02Speaker 03

It would be funny to get a request to give you different parents.

• 9:04Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, yeah, that's very strange. I did did very much love my parents, so I won't be doing that. And my siblings, I will say, so I won't be doing any of that. But I, you know, it's so fascinating to me how you then get dragged into the pettiness of people's.

• 9:19Speaker 03

  The family drama.

• 9:20Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, like take this person out or what about, you know, hey, I I had some acne back then, fix that. Do they ever say that?

• 9:29Speaker 03

I've never gotten that, but I can do my best. Would that, would I have to do that for you?

• 9:32Conan O'Brien?

Oh, God, no. Pristine skin, all the.

• 9:35Speaker 01

Be like, give me a tan.

• 9:37Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, give me a tan. Can you give me a really good upper body?

• 9:43Conan O'Brien?

Is there a way that you can on film make me go through puberty at like 13 or 14 as opposed to 19?

• 9:53Conan O'Brien?

No. What? Did you really? That's a joke, Sona. Okay, I didn't know if you just shot up really late and your voice changed really late. I did shoot up late. That's okay. Well, my voice hasn't changed yet, so. What do you mean, my voice changed? Did you, have you seen it change yet? I'm still waiting. Still waiting for these testicles to show up.

• 10:12Conan O'Brien?

Can you have my testicles descend on camera, Joey? Joey? I want those things to drop during the Carter administration.

• 10:22Speaker 03

  During the choir footage?

• 10:24Conan O'Brien?

Exactly. Oh my god. Do you, um, so it's so funny that you've, that you've contacted us and that we had this interaction, which I remember. And I think that's so cool. You always have that very cool 1970s film camera with you. Do you, you don't shoot everybody, but you must see particular people and you just ask them, hey, is it okay if I take some footage of you?

• 10:51Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 10:52Conan O'Brien?

  And are they?

• 10:53Speaker 03

  That happens.

• 10:53Conan O'Brien?

They're mostly happy to do that?

• 10:56Speaker 03

Everyone is happy. I've never had anyone, it's kind of the opposite reaction to the cellphone footage. People are pretty excited to be shot on film. I guess it's still a novel experience, so.

• 11:07Conan O'Brien?

Also, they probably think, you know, you can do so much malicious stuff with, you know, footage that's taken on a phone. You can add things, you can take it out of context, but you don't think that when someone, your camera is so cool and retro and adorable, you don't feel that that's something that you could do with that. I mean, I'm sure you could, but it feels like you're coming from a really friendly, good place, which is very Canadian of you.

• 11:34Speaker 03

  Thank you.

• 11:43Conan O'Brien?

You know, winning an award, that's a big achievement, right? Yeah, I love awards. Every now and then in life, maybe something nice like that comes your way. Winning them consistently is almost impossible. It just doesn't happen. You know? Well, guess what? Winning five times in six years? You know what that sounds like to me? Sustained excellence.

• 12:00Speaker 01

  Nice.

• 12:00Conan O'Brien?

When it comes to insurance, Farmers doesn't like surprises. That's why there's Farmers coverage on a page. What is it, you ask? Did you ask? I don't think you did, but let's pretend you did.

• 13:19Speaker 01

  What is that?

• 13:20Conan O'Brien?

It's your coverage on a page, pretty straightforward.

• 13:23Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 13:23Conan O'Brien?

That's good, because sometimes it gets confusing, you know? What am I covered for, what am I not? Here, it's all on a page. Does your insurance do that? Get a quote to get started at Farmers.com. • 13:45Conan O'Brien?

This fall, I want to try something different.

• 13:47Speaker 01

  What?

• 13:48Conan O'Brien?

I like to change it up. I like to learn things, so I'm gonna try and make apple cider.

• 13:51Speaker 01

  Ooh.

• 13:52Conan O'Brien?

  Every morning.

• 13:53Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 13:53Conan O'Brien?

This fall, just to see if I can do it.

• 13:55Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 13:55Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, fall's the perfect season to try something new, like joining T-Mobile.

• 13:59Speaker 01

  Oh, that's good.

• 14:00Conan O'Brien?

  See what I did?

• 14:01Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 14:01Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, there are 250 reasons to join T-Mobile right now. You want to hear what they are?

• 14:05Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 14:05Conan O'Brien?

  They're America's best network.

• 14:07Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 14:07Conan O'Brien?

True story. Plus, T-Mobile has got off-grid satellite coverage. That comes in really handy. I like to just wander in the woods sometimes.

• 14:14Speaker 01

  Oh, that's weird.

• 14:15Conan O'Brien?

When I'm thinking about, like, making apple cider.

• 14:17Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 14:17Conan O'Brien?

And that's when it comes in handy. Here's another reason. High-speed data in over 215 countries and destinations. I travel a lot for the

• 14:24Speaker 01

  You travel a lot.

• 14:25Conan O'Brien?

  Travel show that I do.

• 14:25Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 14:26Conan O'Brien?

Stream this podcast while ignoring local landmarks. That's always fun to do. Like, oh, look, there's the Mona Lisa. Yeah, check it out. I'm in the Louvre. I should, but I'm listening to Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend.

• 14:36Speaker 01

That doesn't seem like a good idea.

• 14:38Conan O'Brien?

  It's a great idea.

• 14:39Speaker 01

  OK.

• 14:39Conan O'Brien?

You know, you can see art anytime. But how often can you listen to this podcast?

• 14:44Speaker 01

  My god.

• 14:45Conan O'Brien?

Yeah. Now, all these reasons make T-Mobile a great choice.

• 14:49Speaker 01

  I agree.

• 14:49Conan O'Brien?

T-Mobile is stacking up reasons to join. Go to T-Mobile.com and find yours best, based on analysis by Lukla of Speed Test Intelligence data first half of 2026. Can't believe I read that. T-Satellite with capable devices in most outdoor areas in the US, where you can see the sky. High-speed international data with qualifying plan. Visit T-Mobile.com. Consult a physician. I just threw that in there.

• 15:14Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 15:16Speaker 04

Hey, it's me, Teddy Swims. You hear that? That's life. So go grab it. Grab your old friends. Grab new friends. Grab a White Claw. Grab flavor for everyone in your group. Grab music, laughter, and moments you'll never forget. You'll never regret it. Hey, Teddy. Oh, hey, man. Grab new friends. Grab old friends. Grab life by the glow. White Claw. Please drink responsibly. White Claw Celta Works, Chicago, Illinois.

• 15:50Speaker 03

I just remembered. I remember what I did with the footage.

• 15:53Conan O'Brien?

  Of me?

• 15:54Speaker 03

It's actually, it's at the Academy Film Archive in LA.

• 15:58Conan O'Brien?

What? The film that you took of me?

• 16:00Speaker 03

  Yeah, the home movie footage.

• 16:01Conan O'Brien?

You're kidding? Is that a joke?

• 16:03Speaker 03

Yeah, because, no, I was a film archivist at the Academy. I did an internship there as the home movie archivist.

• 16:09Conan O'Brien?

  Oh, wow.

• 16:10Speaker 03

And so they acquired my home movies at the end of the summer. And they have this whole Joey Lefak collection.

• 16:16Conan O'Brien?

That's so cool. Um, I hope I was appropriate.

• 16:19Speaker 03

So you're preserved forever. If you never hosted the Oscars, you would still be in the Academy.

• 16:24Conan O'Brien?

Hey, I wasted my time. That's all I'm aiming for. That is so amazing. So, while you were working there, did you get to look at any? There must be stuff that you had access to during the brief time that you were working for the Academy that you were able to see. What did you get to see that really, you know, stands out?

• 16:44Speaker 03

  Alfred Hitchcock's home movies?

• 16:46Conan O'Brien?

  No.

• 16:47Speaker 03

Pretty amazing. There's footage of him riding a, like a tricycle.

• 16:51Conan O'Brien?

  Wow.

• 16:52Speaker 03

  It's pretty funny.

• 16:52Conan O'Brien?

  That's a big tricycle.

• 16:55Conan O'Brien?

  Steel reinforced.

• 16:56Speaker 03

I think it was little kids. It was really small.

• 16:58Conan O'Brien?

It's made by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Yeah, Orson Welles on a pogo stick. Again, US Army Corps of Engineers. 700 people were killed the day he went out.

• 17:13Conan O'Brien?

So, you, and you saw Charlie Chaplin home movies?

• 17:16Speaker 03

Yeah, so I got to work on the home movie collection of the Paramount founder, Adolf Zucker. And he had all this footage of him hanging out on different boats with Mary Pickford and Charlie Chaplin and Al Jolson.

• 17:30Conan O'Brien?

All those silent stars. Yeah, that's so cool.

• 17:32Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 17:33Conan O'Brien?

  And they're just goofing around.

• 17:36Speaker 03

  They're just goofing around.

• 17:37Conan O'Brien?

And that's, I mean, I love that because again, the stakes are low. They don't have to present necessarily their public persona. They're just being goofy people playing around with a camera on a boat. So that's where you see these legends.

• 17:51Speaker 03

  Hanging out with their employer.

• 17:52Conan O'Brien?

  Yeah, well, okay.

• 17:53Speaker 05

Yeah, that is kind of weird.

• 17:54Conan O'Brien?

Yeah. You guys are never relaxed. When I take you, when I take you guys out on a boat?

• 17:58Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 17:59Conan O'Brien?

  On my big yacht?

• 18:00Speaker 05

Oh my god. Yeah, your giant yacht?

• 18:02Conan O'Brien?

  Yeah, the SS Ego.

• 18:06Conan O'Brien?

And then I'm like, I'm just gonna shoot some fun footage. You guys always look so dour.

• 18:10Speaker 05

Yeah, you have a cigar and one of those captain hats.

• 18:13Conan O'Brien?

  Also, I said it's a yacht and it's, it's 18, 18 inches long. It's this tiny little dinghy.

• 18:21Speaker 05

  It's a little Duffy boat.

• 18:22Conan O'Brien?

It's a little, yeah, exactly. And I'm like, I'll get a bigger one as soon as I get that contract renewal. Us just being tossed around Catalina Island.

• 18:34Conan O'Brien?

Well, this, I mean, you've got, this must be a lifelong obsession of yours. Because you seem like someone who came by this very honestly. And my favorite, the people I really root for, who I think are the luckiest people, are the ones that have turned their childhood obsession into a career, which is what you've done.

• 18:53Speaker 03

Exactly. Yeah. I, um, when I was a kid, I stumbled upon my grandparents' 8mm home movie collection, and it was like a dream come true. I like, I'm a very historical thinker. I studied, um, history and material culture in my undergrad, before just doing a master's in film preservation and just like getting to see my grandparents in their twenties, so fascinating.

• 19:18Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, yeah. It's so funny because we all, our grandparents are cemented in as, they're old.

• 19:24Speaker 05

  Oldies.

• 19:25Conan O'Brien?

And they always were. Whenever, whenever you would picture them as kids, you'd just take their old head from today and put it on a little kid's body, and they still used a cane, um, and they were still really mad when you slammed the screen door.

• 19:42Conan O'Brien?

  But it's great.

• 19:42Speaker 03

There's, um, there's footage of my grandfather, um, giving beer to a donkey.

• 19:50Conan O'Brien?

  Okay, well, that's just.

• 19:51Speaker 03

That's what they used to do.

• 19:51Conan O'Brien?

I'm sorry, that's just wrong. That's just wrong.

• 19:55Speaker 05

  Joey.

• 19:56Conan O'Brien?

That, that donkey became an alcoholic.

• 19:59Speaker 02

  Or donkey?

• 20:01Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, he was in a 12 Clomp program.

• 20:04Speaker 05

  Oh my God.

• 20:06Speaker 02

So proud of himself? He's so proud?

• 20:09Speaker 05

  Oh my God.

• 20:12Conan O'Brien?

Well, Joey, you're here for my last podcast.

• 20:18Conan O'Brien?

  Phil never, he is not.

• 20:18Speaker 03

Something always goes wrong with me.

• 20:21Conan O'Brien?

Come on, Sona. I'm a good guy. Look at her.

• 20:29Speaker 05

  12 o'clock. That's the best thing you've ever said.

• 20:33Conan O'Brien?

Might be, might be Joey, you were here for it. Joey, can you shoot on this Zoom? Can you shoot you talking to me with your camera?

• 20:44Speaker 03

I wish that the, I wish it was loaded.

• 20:45Conan O'Brien?

What? Oh my God, okay, well, I just had so much faith in you that you were ready to go.

• 20:52Speaker 03

  I know.

• 20:53Conan O'Brien?

But no, I thought this is, this can be part of his archive.

• 20:56Speaker 05

  I know.

• 20:57Conan O'Brien?

I love can do a more modern. Okay.

• 21:01Speaker 02

  That's a 4K.

• 21:02Speaker 05

  That's not the same.

• 21:03Conan O'Brien?

Hey, wait a minute, it's a Sony and I hear those are very good.

• 21:06Speaker 05

  What, are they a sponsor?

• 21:08Conan O'Brien?

No, but I want to get one for free.

• 21:11Speaker 05

I'm gonna get one for free.

• 21:12Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, that's great. Joey, did you have a question for me?

• 21:17Speaker 03

Uh, I did, I did have a question for you. Um, so I read somewhere that you're hosting the Oscars.

• 21:23Conan O'Brien?

  Yep, yep.

• 21:24Speaker 03

I actually have a job interview at the Academy on Friday.

• 21:27Conan O'Brien?

  Oh, really?

• 21:28Speaker 03

And, uh, yeah, so I was wondering if you had any advice? I wanted to know how your interview went for the job.

• 21:33Conan O'Brien?

Oh, well, I did it last year, so that interview went okay. I'm doing it again this year. Um, that was a wobbly interview.

• 21:42Conan O'Brien?

They decided to take me anyway. Um, well, first of all, let them know that we're friends, we know each other, you know? Tell them Conan says hi.

• 21:49Speaker 03

  Would you be my reference?

• 21:50Conan O'Brien?

Seriously, I would be, I'm not kidding.

• 21:52Speaker 03

  Thank you.

• 21:52Conan O'Brien?

You, I mean, I'm not joking, I'll be your reference and I'm, you know, um, I mean, judging by all the knickknacks behind you, you might be a murderer, but, uh, but a kindly murderer, a kindly Canadian murderer.

• 22:04Speaker 05

I mean, one of the things he has is your 10th anniversary DVD.

• 22:08Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, I know, that's what makes me scared.

• 22:11Speaker 03

I got it for a dollar 99 in Northern Ontario.

• 22:15Speaker 05

  Oh, man, Joey.

• 22:17Speaker 03

  But it's priceless to me.

• 22:19Conan O'Brien?

Hey, Eduardo, Eduardo, wow. Man, you put the knife right in my back.

• 22:28Speaker 05

  Oh my God.

• 22:29Conan O'Brien?

  God damn.

• 22:30Speaker 05

  Eduardo.

• 22:31Conan O'Brien?

I'm, I gotta get myself to Toronto and hang with Joey where it's safe.

• 22:35Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 22:37Speaker 02

He just wants to watch himself on the DVD.

• 22:39Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, exactly. I'll just be watching it with you, nudging you, isn't this great?

• 22:45Conan O'Brien?

Joey, um, yes, I will be your reference if you need a reference from me and, uh, they can give you my information.

• 22:50Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 22:51Conan O'Brien?

After this is over and I seriously will. I'll put in a good word for you and then you'll see. They never call you back.

• 22:57Speaker 03

If I don't get the job, that means it was.

• 22:58Conan O'Brien?

It was me. It was me. Um, I would say lock that down fast. Uh, Joey, um, yeah, I, I don't have any, uh, advice for you. I think you're doing all the right things. You seem like a really nice, creative, cool guy.

• 23:11Speaker 05

  Yes, he does.

• 23:12Conan O'Brien?

And, uh, I'm so glad that I met you before and I hope I meet you in person again. It's just, uh.

• 23:16Speaker 03

  Thanks, Conan.

• 23:17Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, seriously. You're, you're a good fellow and I wish you all the best. I really do.

• 23:22Speaker 03

Thank you. I was, uh, wondering if you might wanna come to my, uh, movie premiere in LA.

• 23:27Conan O'Brien?

  When, when is it?

• 23:28Speaker 03

Uh, it's in the beginning of May.

• 23:29Conan O'Brien?

  Okay.

• 23:30Speaker 05

  What movie?

• 23:31Speaker 03

  I can, uh.

• 23:32Conan O'Brien?

  What, what is the movie?

• 23:32Speaker 03

It's called Ghost Camera. It's a movie I made. It's like, it uses my home movies, my grandparents' home movies, and then I shot stuff, uh, in the present, um, to, to contrast it. It's kind of like, uh, I, I play a fake version of myself who's in a band, trying to be the greatest cover band.

• 23:49Conan O'Brien?

  Okay.

• 23:50Speaker 03

  In the world.

• 23:50Conan O'Brien?

Okay. What's the reaction to this film been so far?

• 23:53Speaker 03

  Five stars across the board.

• 23:55Speaker 05

  Hey.

• 23:56Conan O'Brien?

  Really?

• 23:57Speaker 03

  Pretty good.

• 23:57Speaker 05

Are you only inviting Conan? Cause it felt like that was only directed towards Conan, man.

• 24:02Speaker 03

So, now would you wanna come to my movie premiere?

• 24:03Speaker 05

I do. Thank you so much. Oh my God. Thank you. That's so sweet of you to think of me. Thank you so much.

• 24:08Conan O'Brien?

  Yeah, Eduardo, you're not coming.

• 24:12Conan O'Brien?

  Overpaid.

• 24:13Speaker 03

Eduardo, would you like to come to my movie premiere?

• 24:14Conan O'Brien?

I'd love to. Damn it! God, I have no pull.

• 24:18Speaker 03

  Thank you.

• 24:19Conan O'Brien?

With Joey. Uh, yeah, Joey, if I can be there, I'll be there. I can't make any promises. I'm highly in demand. Cut to Conan doing absolutely nothing.

• 24:30Speaker 05

  Watching your 10th anniversary show.

• 24:31Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Watching my 10th anniversary. And then taking occasional breaks to follow a Star Tours bus on my tricycle that I got from the Hitchcock estate.

• 24:42Conan O'Brien?

Pedaling furiously, "Hey, come on, I'm a salam." "Hey, Joey, this has been really fun. Take care."

• 24:48Speaker 03

  Thank you.

• 24:49Conan O'Brien?

Yeah, hope to see you soon. Bye.

• 24:50Speaker 03

  All the best.

• 24:51Speaker 04

Hey, it's Kelly Ripa, and if you don't know, I have a podcast where I get to say whatever I want. Hold on, let me get a shovel and a body bag. I envision doing a podcast with the conversations that happen in my dressing room, off-camera, where people feel free to talk. No hair, no makeup. This is my kind of job. Only Kelly Ripa can ask me these questions. I'm flipping the script and saying what's really on my mind.

• 26:00Speaker 04

We're seeing a different side of you. It's a little bit more honest.

• 26:04Speaker 06

When the cameras go off, the real fun begins. Get my hair done over here. Hey! This is an off-camera podcast, so it doesn't even matter. It's unfiltered conversations and unexpected confessions. My mom says, "Woody, I knew you'd die." Stop the press. I would like to volunteer to administer any and all DNA tests. Maybe that should be part of the show? Let's talk off-camera with me, Kelly Ripa. You just put that in the universe! Listen and follow wherever you get your podcasts.
