• 1:44Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:45H. Foley?

There he is. We almost killed him in the driveway.

• 1:48Speaker 03

No, I really see that shit. Got slippery as hell out there. Got dangerous a little bit.

• 1:51H. Foley?

I like how you pulled up and called that you were out front, too.

• 1:54Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:55H. Foley?

Didn't just walk up to the door.

• 1:56Speaker 01

Start knocking on random fucking doors.

• 1:58Speaker 03

I do that everywhere I go, like, I'm gonna say to everybody, I'm outside before you take, you know, say, I should get dice and shit.

• 2:04Speaker 01

Turn around, he's in the backyard, like, what the fuck, man?

• 2:06H. Foley?

Buddy, give us the backstory. I know a little, we know a little. Give us the whole story.

• 2:10Speaker 01

  Florida kid.

• 2:11Speaker 03

Florida kid. West Orlando, Buenos Aires.

• 2:13Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 2:13H. Foley?

  In Orlando.

• 2:14Speaker 03

Yes, sir. The west side, dude.

• 2:15Speaker 01

What's the difference between the west side and the east side?

• 2:17Speaker 03

Well, west side, the west side is more like black people. On the east side, we got like a lot of Hispanic shit like that.

• 2:22Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 2:22Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 2:23Speaker 01

  Like, close to Disney?

• 2:24Speaker 03

Hell, no, no, no. Well, the east side kinda over there.

• 2:27Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 2:27Speaker 03

The best I can explain the east side is, uh, I didn't know UCF is on the east side of Orlando.

• 2:32Speaker 01

  Gotcha.

• 2:33Speaker 03

I didn't know UCF was in Orlando until I graduated high school. So, that's, that's the big difference between the east side and the west.

• 2:40H. Foley?

You get in there, you think you're going away to college, it's down the street?

• 2:43Speaker 03

I thought like, our graduation was at UCF. I thought we was going out of town.

• 2:47Speaker 01

  Really?

• 2:48Speaker 03

I was like, why we going so far?

• 2:49Speaker 01

How far, like twenty minutes away?

• 2:50H. Foley?

  Show up with a bag?

• 2:51Speaker 01

  Thirty minutes, yeah.

• 2:51Speaker 03

It's thirty minutes away. And I'm like, hey.

• 2:52H. Foley?

You show up with luggage and shit like that?

• 2:54Speaker 03

What? Where the fuck are we going, man?

• 2:56H. Foley?

  Um.

• 2:57Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 2:57H. Foley?

Who'd you grow up with? Moms, dads? Give us a story.

• 3:00Speaker 03

I grew up, well, my parents, my, uh, it was split custody.

• 3:02H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 3:03Speaker 03

So, uh, my mom stayed in the suburbs, my dad stayed kinda in the hood.

• 3:06H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 3:06Speaker 03

So, I would go back and forth. My mom would work on, she a fight attendant?

• 3:09H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 3:10Speaker 03

So, she would work, uh, mostly, um, like through the week, the weekday, she back on the weekends. But I would go to, no, I'd go to my dad's house on the weekend.

• 3:18H. Foley?

  And what'd your pop do?

• 3:19Speaker 03

  He's a, uh, a con man.

• 3:23Speaker 03

Nah, he, uh, he, uh, what's my card is? He, uh, a contractor. He do contractors.

• 3:27H. Foley?

  A contractor.

• 3:27Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:28H. Foley?

  Big difference.

• 3:28Speaker 03

I would always tell people, I'd be like, he would always, he'd do like, in my mind, he'd do like, who a contractor, like? He would, people would be like, I would go like him, like, work sometimes, people be like, legally, they said I couldn't do this in the weekend. Sure, we can, we can make this shit happen.

• 3:41Speaker 01

We can do, we'll figure it out.

• 3:41H. Foley?

Work around the permits. I respect that.

• 3:43Speaker 03

  It's fine.

• 3:43H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 3:44Speaker 03

  Hell, yeah.

• 3:45H. Foley?

  All right. Brothers and sisters?

• 3:46Speaker 03

Yeah, I got, uh, I got, uh, one brother and three sisters.

• 3:50H. Foley?

Okay. Did they live with you? Your moms and dads back and forth?

• 3:52Speaker 03

Nah, it's my mom, uh, my mom only kid.

• 3:54H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 3:54Speaker 03

  My dad got four kids.

• 3:55H. Foley?

  Gotcha.

• 3:56Speaker 03

  Or five with me.

• 3:57H. Foley?

All the same, around the same age?

• 3:58Speaker 03

Hell, no. Well, the, the two, the two younger ones, so I got one that's twenty-four, she my ass, that's my sister Kaya. And I got one that's eighteen, and then I got, uh, the two older ones are, uh, like forty-four and forty.

• 4:13H. Foley?

  Gotcha.

• 4:13Speaker 03

  Hell, yeah.

• 4:14Speaker 01

  And how old are you?

• 4:15Speaker 03

  Twenty-five.

• 4:16Speaker 01

  Okay, yeah. Twenty-year gap, that's.

• 4:17H. Foley?

  That's a lot.

• 4:18Speaker 01

Pretty trashy. I got that in my family too. It's not a good look, yeah. Twenty years between siblings is tough.

• 4:24Speaker 03

That's a lot. But I only had one brother, so I was wanting to hang out with him and shit, but I, it never kicked in, like, he was like so much older than me.

• 4:30Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 4:30Speaker 03

So, I'm like, let me, let's do shit, let's do shit. I remember, and then one time, uh, he just said, fuck it, get in the car. And then he uh, he took me to this abandoned McDonald's. We sat there for a minute and then we just drove away. I didn't realize until like I was like 18, that was a drug deal. I had no idea what was going on. I thought, I'm just happy with my brother, nigga, this shit cool as fuck, man. I was happy as shit, dawg.

• 4:51H. Foley?

  Had abandoned McDonald's, man.

• 4:52Speaker 01

  That's a bad drug deal.

• 4:53H. Foley?

  That's a bad neighborhood, too.

• 4:54Speaker 01

Abandoned, yeah, what area can't keep a McDonald's open? Goddamn.

• 4:58H. Foley?

And your mom's place was in the burbs?

• 4:59Speaker 03

  Yeah, nice place, hell yeah.

• 5:00H. Foley?

  House apartment?

• 5:01Speaker 03

  House.

• 5:02H. Foley?

House, okay, so a house and apartment? You got your own room and stuff like that? What was the grocery store your mom would go to?

• 5:07Speaker 03

  Publix.

• 5:08H. Foley?

  Publix.

• 5:08Speaker 01

Shout out Publix in the south.

• 5:10Speaker 03

  See?

• 5:10H. Foley?

I like it, that ain't bad.

• 5:12Speaker 01

And where was, where was your dad food shopping?

• 5:14Speaker 03

Uh, that nigga like Costco a lot, like he wasn't that, he wasn't, he fucked with Costco for sure though.

• 5:19Speaker 01

  Costco's great, yeah, yeah, fantastic.

• 5:21Speaker 03

That nigga loved Costco, like he loved Costco, bruh, like.

• 5:26H. Foley?

  That's funny.

• 5:26Speaker 01

Everybody, I mean Costco's on the come up now too.

• 5:28Speaker 03

Costco was dope, y'all think Costco was garbage, Costco was nice.

• 5:32Speaker 01

Costco's very nice, it's very good, it's very, it's very trashy, but it's great.

• 5:35Speaker 03

You gotta have a membership to go to Costco, nigga.

• 5:36Speaker 01

That's very true, you're not wrong.

• 5:37H. Foley?

I got one in my wallet, I picture one and everything.

• 5:39Speaker 03

I'm an executive member at Costco, nigga. Stop playing crazy, wait a second, hold up, wait a minute.

• 5:45H. Foley?

TSA pre-checking a Costco card, they don't tell you nothing.

• 5:49Speaker 03

I thought, I thought I was gonna be, I thought I was gonna be clean for sure.

• 5:54H. Foley?

You showed up at the door with it out?

• 5:56Speaker 03

You don't even realize, I was at Costco the other day and there's a white lady, I was with my daughters and shit, and I was just joking around, I was like, yeah, they don't even understand, like me and you, man, we executive members. And then she went, is that my card? So what the fuck is going on here, bitch? I swear to God, I would've beat the shit out that old ass white lady, dawg, that was really fucked up.

• 6:15Speaker 01

Did you have, now, did you have friends at your mom's? Like, did you have two, like, did you have, like, your Orlando friends and then, like, the suburb friends?

• 6:21Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 6:22Speaker 01

Well, were they, was it like two different worlds or were they similar, similar?

• 6:25Speaker 03

We all kinda went to the same school.

• 6:26Speaker 01

  Gotcha.

• 6:26Speaker 03

So when we got to, uh, when I got to high school, the, uh, the school, my middle school's in Oak, so I went to, uh, O'Koy Elementary, O'Koy Middle School and O'Koy High School. O'Koy Elementary was really white.

• 6:37Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 6:37Speaker 03

Like, so white to the point where I would, I would be like, mom, we the only black people in the world. Like, it was white as shit, like, you know what I'm saying? My, O'Koy, O'Koy Middle School was getting, it was getting there. And then O'Koy High School, everybody, everybody from my dad's side, and everybody from where I was from, the same school for the most part.

• 6:53H. Foley?

And how were you in school, were you good in school?

• 6:54Speaker 03

Hell no, I was terrible. I was one of the worst ever, nigga. Cause I was on, I got ADD, so like, it was like, if I went on my ADD medicine, it was gonna be a bad day for any teacher.

• 7:04H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 7:05Speaker 03

  Around, dawg.

• 7:05H. Foley?

I had it, I got it too. I was terrible.

• 7:08Speaker 03

  Man, I was the worst.

• 7:09Speaker 01

Anything like really, or just kinda fuck it, just causing a distraction, hanging out?

• 7:12Speaker 03

I was always too scared to get in like super trouble until I got out of school, cause my mama was just like, she was like, I don't wanna get, I, I, I don't wanna deal with her when I get home. I was never trying to get no bullshit.

• 7:22Speaker 01

Well, like an old wise thing for like an eighth grader, eighth grader, like I ain't dealing with her, just wait till I get out of the house, I'll do whatever the fuck I want.

• 7:28Speaker 03

Yeah, I'll do what I want when I get older, but I can't deal with her. She's an insane person.

• 7:31Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 7:31Speaker 03

She's insane. I remember one time I spit on a kid. I spit on somebody in like, when I was in like, uh, fourth grade.

• 7:36H. Foley?

  Why?

• 7:37Speaker 03

  And then, huh?

• 7:38H. Foley?

  Why'd you spit on her?

• 7:38Speaker 03

I don't even know. Well, really?

• 7:40Speaker 01

  He had it coming, dude.

• 7:41Speaker 03

I didn't even, I didn't want to deal. I didn't want to deal. And so he was like, he spit on me.

• 7:45H. Foley?

  Razzmatazz?

• 7:45Speaker 03

Yeah, my mama didn't know that. My mama didn't know I did that. So when I got home, she just, she just spit on me. She was like, you like spitting on people?

• 7:51H. Foley?

  Oh shit.

• 7:52Speaker 03

Do you enjoy spitting on people?

• 7:53H. Foley?

  Damn.

• 7:54Speaker 03

How do you feel? I was like, that's not what I did at all. You hawked a loogie on me.

• 7:58Speaker 01

That's an eye for an eye type shit, dude. That's wild.

• 8:01Speaker 03

My mom did it again though.

• 8:02H. Foley?

My mom did something similar, and I think it was in fourth grade again, or fourth or fifth grade, I went like this to the whole class.

• 8:07Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 8:07H. Foley?

And the teacher had called my mom and didn't, my mom didn't say anything. And then I got home and I remember I was getting in the tub. I was completely naked about to get in the tub. She kicked open the bathroom door and she's like, you like doing this to people?

• 8:18Speaker 03

  Oh no.

• 8:18H. Foley?

  Fucking scarred for life.

• 8:20Speaker 03

  Oh no.

• 8:22Speaker 01

That's a dirtbag mom grabbing her fucking cooter.

• 8:25H. Foley?

You like doing this? What the hell?

• 8:27Speaker 03

Yeah, that's crazy. You ever got, you ever got whoppers in the, in the bathtub?

• 8:30Speaker 01

  Uh, getting into the tub.

• 8:31Speaker 03

Nah, she never hit you when you was wet?

• 8:33H. Foley?

  Nah.

• 8:33Speaker 03

My mama hit me when I was wet one time. I got in the shower and she got in the shower with me, and it whipped me when I, this, it sounds crazy.

• 8:39Speaker 01

  Jesus.

• 8:39Speaker 03

When I'm explaining it. I was bad though, I needed it. You know what I'm saying? But yeah, that was a torture tactic though.

• 8:45H. Foley?

  Yeah, dude, that's something.

• 8:47Speaker 01

That's waterboarding. That's what they were doing in fucking Gitmo, dude.

• 8:50H. Foley?

My mom was the one that did the hit. My dad, oh, he would just, he would just have to threaten.

• 8:53Speaker 03

Yeah, my dad never hit me.

• 8:54H. Foley?

He would just have to threaten, like if he would take the belt out.

• 8:57Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 8:57H. Foley?

He had this belt called Black Beauty, and if he would take that out, we got in line. But my mom, she's the one that fucking, for some reason it hurt so much when they'd smack ya, and you were like, cover it up and they- In the back and shit like that.

• 9:07Speaker 03

  It'd be really bad.

• 9:08H. Foley?

  Fucking stings.

• 9:09Speaker 03

My dad jacked me up one time and I was in a, I think I was in like second grade and I think I hit this girl.

• 9:14H. Foley?

He jacked you up in second grade? I hit a girl. Every time he did kinda have it coming, I gotta give it to him.

• 9:19Speaker 03

I'm telling you, like, every time I hit something happen to me, I needed it, dawg. And so I remember I was, uh, he picked me up from school, they called and picked me up from school. And he just was, we was riding back and he just was like, he took me to get food, like, hey, listen, what you did was fucked up and I'm gonna get to it, but I'm not gonna tell you when. And he took me to food, we were talking, having a good time, we got in the house, I was chilling and he just came over and said, don't you ever do shit like that ever again.

• 9:41H. Foley?

  Oh, the sneak attack?

• 9:42Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 9:43H. Foley?

  That's mental warfare, dude.

• 9:44Speaker 03

And then he got me, I was like, I never, ever, never, ever would do nothing like that.

• 9:47H. Foley?

Yeah, why would they do that shit? Why would they play it cool for a little while? You think you're getting away with it, then all of a sudden.

• 9:53Speaker 03

I can't wait to be a parent, I'm gonna be the best mental abuser ever, nigga. What? I'm on they ass, nigga.

• 9:59H. Foley?

Wait like two weeks, don't say nothing?

• 10:01Speaker 03

  Thought I forgot, fuck, nigga.

• 10:02H. Foley?

Wake them up. Damn, alright. Any sports in high school?

• 10:07Speaker 03

  Played basketball.

• 10:08H. Foley?

Played basketball? Were you good? Good basketball player?

• 10:10Speaker 03

I was alright, I was decent, I had a, so my, I didn't, I never really had the grades to play a full season until my senior year.

• 10:16H. Foley?

  Full season?

• 10:17Speaker 03

So I always played like half of the season. My freshman year, I got in a fight, uh, with my teammate about who played more, we both didn't play.

• 10:23H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 10:25Speaker 03

I got in a fight in a, we fought in a away team bathroom. We was in an away game, we fought in the bathroom, I almost died.

• 10:32H. Foley?

  Jesus.

• 10:33Speaker 03

Why? I was, cause like, I was a small kid my freshman year, I could fight a little bit, I had some hands a little bit. So, we was in a fight and I was fucking him up, I was beating the shit out of him. And then, my brain just went.

• 10:42H. Foley?

My dad came in and started kicking my ass.

• 10:45Speaker 03

But, my brain just went, hit him with the razzle dazzle. So I tried to pick him up, cause everybody was recording the fight. And then when I went to go pick him up, he grabbed my like lower body, and all I remember is somebody going, don't kill Cam. And they caught me like right before I was gonna hit the ground.

• 10:59H. Foley?

Like crack your head open or something like that?

• 11:01Speaker 03

Yeah, he was gonna fuck me up.

• 11:02H. Foley?

That's a pretty good fight though.

• 11:03Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 11:04H. Foley?

In the, dude, a fight in the away teams ba- uh, locker room, that's pretty respectable.

• 11:09Speaker 03

Nah, it was, it was dope. And so I got kicked off the team for that. And then my sophomore year, I got back on the team, we had a new coach. Cause that, the old coach we had was like, you'll never play basketball at this school ever again. Then he went to a different school.

• 11:20H. Foley?

  He got fired.

• 11:20Speaker 03

So we got a new coach. And then I got back on the team, didn't have the grades to play, didn't play to the, say after the season. When I got back on the team, I cussed out my Spanish teacher.

• 11:29Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 11:30Speaker 03

  Cause she was a bitch.

• 11:31Speaker 01

  She had it coming.

• 11:32Speaker 03

She definitely had it coming. Cause I wasn't trying to learn Spanish. I wasn't going to college. So I didn't give a fuck about it at all. And then she, and she was a black lady too, which was, okay, whatever. So she, uh, this, I was never gonna learn Spanish. Cause my first year was a Russian lady teaching me Spanish. I know the fuck she was saying.

• 11:46Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 11:47Speaker 03

Second year was a black lady. She was cool, but she was a bitch. So I was asleep one day and then she was like, you gotta wake up. And I said, hey bro, you didn't gonna let me sleep. You gonna shut the fuck up and leave me the fuck alone. And my, I didn't realize that the JV coach was next door. And she just told him immediately and they keep my team for that.

• 12:01H. Foley?

Well, just for the record, she kinda was right. You're sleeping in class, then you yell at her.

• 12:06Speaker 03

Yeah, I mean, listen, every time I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

• 12:08Speaker 01

I tell you, I will get, you have admitted every time.

• 12:11Speaker 03

Every time I'm wrong, I be wrong as shit. Man, wrong as fuck.

• 12:13H. Foley?

What was the vacations like when you were a kid? Would you, would you guys, we always think everybody living in Orlando, you went to Disney World like every three days.

• 12:19Speaker 03

  Fuck no.

• 12:20H. Foley?

  No?

• 12:20Speaker 03

Hell no. Disney World is, they can see me. I don't know, um, vacation?

• 12:42Speaker 03

But she was a flight attendant.

• 12:43Speaker 01

She gets the buddy pass or whatever, yeah.

• 12:45Speaker 03

Well, it was dope. That was cool. My parents got married, we got friends. I went to Hawaii with my mom when I was like 10 years old.

• 12:50H. Foley?

  There you go.

• 12:50Speaker 01

  That's really good.

• 12:51Speaker 03

That's the one I can really remember.

• 12:52H. Foley?

  That's a good one.

• 12:53Speaker 03

  Oh, in Tennessee.

• 12:54Speaker 01

  Yeah, that's a vacation.

• 12:55Speaker 03

With my, yeah, family reunion and shit.

• 12:56Speaker 01

  Nice.

• 12:57Speaker 03

My dad and shit. Got mustard in my eyes.

• 13:02Speaker 01

  Wow. How?

• 13:03Speaker 03

I was, uh, my, it was on my, it was on my, on my stepmom's side of the family.

• 13:07Speaker 01

  Uh huh.

• 13:08Speaker 03

  And my, uh,

• 13:08Speaker 01

  So your dad got remarried?

• 13:09Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 13:10Speaker 01

  Gotcha.

• 13:10Speaker 03

And so, cause she, and that shit been married my whole life. She up changing my diapers and shit. So, uh, I went over to, uh, we went to Tennessee, they got a cabin. And my sister's cousins was playing this game called, don't go to sleep, or you gonna get mustard in your eyes.

• 13:23Speaker 01

  Pretty descriptive game.

• 13:25Speaker 03

And I was tired, cause I was the youngest, I went to sleep. And they put mustard in my eyes.

• 13:29Speaker 01

  Jesus.

• 13:29Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's how the game was.

• 13:32Speaker 01

  They kinda lost the game.

• 13:33Speaker 03

  It's a fucked up game.

• 13:34H. Foley?

Was the family reunion every year? Did you guys do one every year?

• 13:37Speaker 03

Yeah, in Gainesville, Florida, on my momma's side, yeah.

• 13:39H. Foley?

Man, that's all right. That was probably a good time.

• 13:41Speaker 03

  It was dope.

• 13:41H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 13:42Speaker 03

Yup. I put pee in a water bottle one time and chased my cousins around with it, cause I couldn't catch them in tag.

• 13:48Speaker 01

Man, this guy, chemical warfare. Fucking got piss bombs.

• 13:52H. Foley?

  Jesus Christ.

• 13:53Speaker 01

You're the one, I mean, you are the weirdest guy I've ever met.

• 13:55Speaker 03

I'ma tell you, man, I got some childhood stories, nigga.

• 13:59Speaker 01

  Jesus Christ.

• 14:00Speaker 03

Oh, yeah, I remember, my granddad, my granddad was so mad at me about that shit. Cause I couldn't catch him, but I was mad as fuck. And then like, we were playing tag, and I remember I went to the bathroom, and I came back out with a water bottle, and it was yellow. And they didn't realize at first, but then my cousin was like, "He got piss in the water bottle." And they just started hitting, and I was squirting it at him, like, dude. Yeah, it was crazy. I was in timeout about two hours for that one.

• 14:22Speaker 01

  Fucking problem child, damn, dude.

• 14:23H. Foley?

You say you were in timeout for about two hours? That's not bad, two hours for a piss bomb.

• 14:26Speaker 03

  Come on, man.

• 14:27H. Foley?

That's easy time. Dude, that's standing on your head.

• 14:32Speaker 01

Did you have any pets growing up? What was the pet situation, anything?

• 14:34Speaker 03

Yeah, I had a dog named Romeo, that nigga was a bitch.

• 14:37H. Foley?

  Spit on him.

• 14:38Speaker 03

I hated him. Man, I hated that damn dog.

• 14:40Speaker 01

  What kind of dog?

• 14:40Speaker 03

Huh? I don't even know, he was a mutt. Like, my mama just found this ass one day, he was at the crib. Romeo was a real fuck nigga, dog. I hated him. Like, cause like, I don't, like, you know, as a kid, you have a dog, and it's like, "This your best friend, you own the dog." I think the dog thought, "Hey, man, I own this little nigga, like, he belongs to me."

• 14:57Speaker 01

  You work for him, yeah.

• 14:58Speaker 03

Yeah, like, he was sleeping in my bed, but it wasn't my bed, it was his bed, his mind. Like, he was sleeping at the foot of my bed. Like, I'm moving my sleep a little bit, so he would just bite my toes.

• 15:07Speaker 01

  No shit.

• 15:07Speaker 03

Like, hard as shit, and be like, "Stop moving, nigga, I'm trying to sleep." I remember one time, I was out, I was in the backyard of my mama's house, and I peed outside, just cause I wanted to. And I peed outside, and Romeo just pissed over my piss.

• 15:18Speaker 01

Yeah, oh, tomorrow, yeah. Like, it's me. This is my house, pussy.

• 15:21Speaker 03

Yeah, that dog was a real bitch, dog. I fucking hated Romeo. Yeah, my grandma had a dog named Shekka, when I was a kid. He, he was an outside dog, though. And we would come inside, and the nigga was like, big as shit.

• 15:33Speaker 01

Dude, an outdoor Florida dog? That's a fucking tough dog.

• 15:36Speaker 03

  But that's a real soul.

• 15:37H. Foley?

That's a grown man right there.

• 15:38Speaker 01

Yeah, that guy. That dude's got a job and shit.

• 15:41Speaker 03

  Hell, yeah.

• 15:41Speaker 01

  Damn.

• 15:42H. Foley?

What about, uh, what was the, what was the snacks and shit like that in the house growing up? What were you allowed to have? Were you allowed to have, like, sugar cereal and all that kinda stuff?

• 15:49Speaker 03

Hell, yeah. My, my, my mama's house was dope. Like, I had, uh, we had a whole bunch of snacks. Um, dad, we had snacks too, cause Costco.

• 15:55Speaker 01

  Costco, yeah. Shout out, signature.

• 15:56Speaker 03

  Snacks was great.

• 15:57H. Foley?

  Respected.

• 15:58Speaker 01

You really allowed to drink soda growing up?

• 16:00Speaker 03

Uh, yeah, I could have soda.

• 16:01Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 16:02Speaker 03

I could have sugar and shit.

• 16:03Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 16:03Speaker 03

  Most of them.

• 16:04H. Foley?

How was your mom in the kitchen? Good cook?

• 16:05Speaker 03

  She could cook for fuck.

• 16:06Speaker 01

  No?

• 16:07Speaker 03

My mom can't cook for shit.

• 16:08H. Foley?

  Hmm.

• 16:09Speaker 03

Hell, no, but she'd try, she'd make a red velvet cake. Would that work?

• 16:13Speaker 01

  That works.

• 16:13Speaker 03

Let's make a cake for you. Dan's gonna make a cake.

• 16:17Speaker 01

  Dan, I've never had someone flex a red velvet cake. That's a, that's a high-end cake, dude. That's a, I'll give you that.

• 18:26H. Foley?

And did you work at all in high school? Did you have any, any, what was your first job?

• 18:30Speaker 03

My first job was at Foot Locker.

• 18:31H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 18:32Speaker 01

  There you go.

• 18:32Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah. First job was at Foot Locker. I went every single day.

• 18:35Speaker 01

  At the mall?

• 18:36Speaker 03

Right behind my mama's house, yeah.

• 18:37H. Foley?

  In the summer?

• 18:38Speaker 03

Yeah, right when I graduated high school.

• 18:40H. Foley?

Okay, so your first job wasn't until after high school?

• 18:42Speaker 03

Yeah, I was playing sports. I was trying to go to school.

• 18:44Speaker 01

You're getting kicked off the team. What are you talking about? He said you never played a full season.

• 18:48Speaker 03

Well, no, my senior, I did play a full season. I didn't play a lot this season, but I was on the team.

• 18:52Speaker 01

  I had to practice.

• 18:53Speaker 03

I was on the team. My coach told me, he said, "Nigga, you here for team morale."

• 18:58Speaker 01

  Your coach said that?

• 18:59Speaker 03

Yeah, that's when I was like, "Oh, yeah, I'm not gonna play this shit in college."

• 19:03Speaker 01

You can't keep up the jokes, alright?

• 19:04Speaker 03

  Off morale.

• 19:05H. Foley?

And how was the job at Foot Locker that summer?

• 19:07Speaker 03

It was the best, man. That's where I do comedy.

• 19:09H. Foley?

  Yeah, why?

• 19:10Speaker 03

Yeah, see, 'cause I would always tell stories from my basketball, from like basketball to my coworkers. And they was always like, "Nigga, you fucking funny."

• 19:18H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 19:19Speaker 03

You should do stand-up. And so that's the reason I do stand-up.

• 19:21Speaker 01

  There you go.

• 19:23Speaker 03

But they shouldn't have hired me. There was no way in hell they should have hired me.

• 19:25H. Foley?

How does it work at Foot Locker? Do they get commissions on the sneakers or anything like that?

• 19:30Speaker 03

Yeah, but it was like a dead store. So we, like, it was like...

• 19:33Speaker 01

That got so funny. You're fucking hanging no customers.

• 19:35Speaker 03

So if somebody did come in, it's like, "Why the fuck are you here? You fucking up my day."

• 19:39Speaker 01

Yeah. I'm killing over here, dude.

• 19:41Speaker 03

I've been crushing all day, man. I got some dumbass shoes.

• 19:45H. Foley?

An empty Foot Locker is wild.

• 19:47Speaker 01

Did you steal it all? My boy worked at Foot Locker and he stole like crazy.

• 19:51Speaker 03

Yeah, let me tell you something.

• 19:52Speaker 01

Because the malls, if you don't know anybody that ever worked at a mall, the mall has like its own ecosystem. Where like the lids guy will steal hats and give them to the Foot Locker guy. The Foot Locker guy will get jerseys from this store. It's like, they're all just, it's like they're all fucking.

• 20:06Speaker 03

So I fucked most of the girls in the mall.

• 20:08Speaker 01

I didn't mean that, but yeah.

• 20:09Speaker 03

Hey, look, no, real talk, man, I fucked all up and down that mall. Before I even knew my manager was cool, there was a girl that worked at Jimmy J's. She tried to fuck me before the store opened. And I didn't know, I was like, "It's cameras and shit in here." And I don't know my manager like that.

• 20:20Speaker 01

I don't know my manager like that.

• 20:21Speaker 03

I told them, I was like, "Yo, the girl at Jimmy J's wanted to fuck me in the store." And they were like, "Why the fuck didn't you do it? Them cameras don't work, nigga. You should have did it." But after that, I was fucking all up and through that store. Like, man, I fucked in the bathroom behind the mall. It was in the abandoned part of the mall. I was fucking in there at the JCPenney's. It just shut down. I was going fucking hell.

• 20:38Speaker 01

Damn, you were fucking in a closed JCPenney's?

• 20:40Speaker 03

  In the changing store.

• 20:42H. Foley?

I wonder why the Foot Locker was tanking?

• 20:45Speaker 03

And that shit closed now, too.

• 20:47H. Foley?

And Annie meet Uncle Cam coming in.

• 20:50Speaker 03

But then, oh, we had got, so I never really stole from Foot Locker. My brother had a homeboy that used to, he got like big trouble stealing the finish line when he was a kid. So I was always like, "Man, I'm not gonna do shit like that." But we had got a... Uh, when I became a manager, which was a terrible.

• 21:05Speaker 01

You got, they became you a, what?

• 21:07Speaker 03

  Yeah, it was stupid.

• 21:08Speaker 01

Man, Foot Locker, what the fuck?

• 21:09Speaker 03

At like eighteen? Wait, yeah, I was eighteen, cause I was the only one that showed up to work.

• 21:12Speaker 01

  Yeah, cause you're, you're on a date.

• 21:14Speaker 03

I lived behind them all and shit, so they were like, even if anything, if Cam would just show up. Cause you gotta understand, like, Foot Locker got like a hiring system back then where it was like, oh, you gotta get a score more of like a, oh, let's say the score is like, you gotta get past six hundred. And if you get past six hundred, like, you got a six seventy, you could be like a manager or something. You get like a six fifty, you could be like a, what's his name? I had like a six ten.

• 21:35Speaker 01

You were along the lower end.

• 21:36Speaker 03

A six ten, they like, do not hire.

• 21:38Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 21:38Speaker 03

  They barely made it.

• 21:39H. Foley?

What are the questions? About sneakers or just regular shit?

• 21:42Speaker 03

It was a personality test, I guess, and they were like, this nigga not a good person.

• 21:45Speaker 01

Have you ever spit on a girl?

• 21:47Speaker 03

I'm like, what kind of question did they would ask something like that?

• 21:50H. Foley?

You became, were you like doing the schedule and shit like that?

• 21:53Speaker 03

No, no, I never got that. I would do like the sales report, I would have to write an email, but I'm not like email trained, so I was like, what's up? So is it like, we got a lot?

• 22:00Speaker 01

  Talking to your boss?

• 22:01Speaker 03

  We sold a lot.

• 22:01Speaker 01

What's good fam? We out of Jordans.

• 22:04Speaker 03

We sold so many Air Force today. Black was cause nigga liked to steal. So, but it was, uh.

• 22:09Speaker 01

  What year is this?

• 22:10Speaker 03

This was twenty, shit, twenty nineteen?

• 22:14Speaker 01

Geez, you were working at Foot Locker in twenty nineteen?

• 22:16Speaker 03

Yeah. Yeah. So I was, but I was sold, the funniest shit, so I'm a manager, right? But the last manager that we had who work at Champs now, this nigga didn't know how to open the safe to put the money in that night. And then, so when they got to me, obviously my test wasn't good, I'm, I'm, I'm not the brightest nigga in the world, so they were like, if that guy couldn't do it, Cam damn sure can't close no fucking safe. So they never, when I would close the night, they never taught me the code to the safe, right? So, one night.

• 22:44Speaker 01

I would also not teach you the code to the safe, dude. That's not, you cannot blame them for that.

• 22:48Speaker 03

But we never, we never like, but the money was, it would just be open. So one night, it was, it was a string of like, uh, in Florida, it was crazy, it was a string of, uh, Foot Locker robberies. I swear to God, I'm not lying to y'all. There was a string of Foot Locker robberies where they would break in through the back door. And like they would, uh, they would, and so the store next to us that was, was open. So they broke into that store and stole like so many shoes from us, like a lot. The next morning we got there, uh, we realized that they had broke in, stole all the shoes and shit. And so we had, it was a big investigation. And the lady that came in thought I had did it, cause I closed the night before and I had locked the safe. And then we didn't, we couldn't tell her that we never locked the safe, cause I didn't think I could lock the safe.

• 23:30Speaker 03

So I had to learn the safe code that day and then do all this extra shit. And then she sat me down, had a conversation with me, she had like a real deal, like long talk with me, older black lady. And she was like, uh, so what are you, she tried to get me to go to the army, really. She was like, you should go to the army, cause like this ain't, this Foot Locker shit ain't true.

• 23:46H. Foley?

Wait, this is the cop investigating the burglary?

• 23:49Speaker 03

They brought like an investigator, like a real investigator, and she was like in the army and shit.

• 23:52H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 23:52Speaker 03

She was talking to me, and then, uh, little did I find out, she told my manager, she was like, why would you hire him? He's like.

• 23:58Speaker 01

He got a 610 on the test.

• 23:59Speaker 03

She called me, and I quote, she called me emotionally retarded. She was like, you, why would you hire this man? He's emotionally retarded. You ca, he should not be working at Foot Locker, this is insane. And, uh, yeah, that's, fuck that bitch.

• 24:14H. Foley?

Yeah. Did you think they were, when you got there and you saw they were robbed, did you think because you had access to the safe and stuff like that, that they were gonna try to pin it on you?

• 24:21Speaker 03

  Oh, I'm sure.

• 24:22Speaker 01

Were you confident that you were gonna get out of it, or were you like, this way it could go either way?

• 24:26Speaker 03

I was scared, but then the, the funny thing about her too, she told, she told my manager, she said, uh, he said, so do you think he did it? And she was like, there's no way he could have pulled this off.

• 24:38H. Foley?

You have the outfit on when you walk in?

• 24:41Speaker 03

She like, there's no way he could have did this.

• 24:43Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 24:43Speaker 03

And then they, then they came and robbed us again, like a year later.

• 24:47H. Foley?

  Damn.

• 24:48Speaker 03

  Yeah, it was crazy.

• 24:49H. Foley?

  That's nuts.

• 24:49Speaker 03

Yeah, then I got fired for cussing at my manager. I got a new manager and I cut, I cut that bitch to smithereens.

• 24:54Speaker 01

A new manager can ruin the vibe of any job. You got a new manager, they come in, they're trying to make a name for themselves. One or two people that you were like part of your team, they leave and you're like, we're not, it's not the same job anymore.

• 25:06Speaker 03

She called me her special child one time and I cut that bitch to filth.

• 25:09Speaker 01

  Like special like?

• 25:10Speaker 03

Cause we would go back and forth, like sometimes it'd be cool and they wouldn't be cool. But she was like, you my special child, you know, you need a little extra help. And I'm like, bitch, I swear to God. Call me special again, ho, this bitch is smoking this fucking city here. I cut that bitch to smithereens.

• 25:24Speaker 03

Fuck that lady. And then you know what's crazy? I started working at Publix after that.

• 25:27Speaker 01

  You started working at Publix?

• 25:28Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 25:28Speaker 01

  Doing what, what department?

• 25:29Speaker 03

I was, at first I was on the cashier and they was like, you can't do this.

• 25:32Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, I can't.

• 25:34Speaker 03

I, I had a joke about this one for a while. I would always be like, ah, y'all, I have a good day, my nigga. And they'd be like, Cam, you gotta stop. You can't do this.

• 25:40Speaker 01

  You're dapping everybody up.

• 25:41Speaker 03

So they're like, no, we gotta put him in the back of the house.

• 25:44H. Foley?

What's up fam? Give a big hug?

• 25:47Speaker 03

So then I started stalking shit, but then she started working at Publix with me.

• 25:50H. Foley?

  Who did?

• 25:50Speaker 03

  My old manager.

• 25:51H. Foley?

Don't want to get cursed out?

• 25:52Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 25:54H. Foley?

Was she a manager or just regular?

• 25:55Speaker 03

She was just like me at Publix. So I was cussing that bitch out every day.

• 25:59H. Foley?

Man, that's a fucking vengeance story.

• 26:02Speaker 03

  It was beautiful as shit.

• 26:04H. Foley?

  She's working under you?

• 26:05Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, you dirty bitch. I hated that hoe. She cool now though, whatever, but I hated her.

• 26:10H. Foley?

  She's cool now, what?

• 26:11Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah. Shout out LaToya though, she the one gave me the job at Publix. Yeah.

• 26:14Speaker 01

  Shout out LaToya.

• 26:15Speaker 03

She dope as shit, I love LaToya.

• 26:16H. Foley?

And then what are the jobs after? When did you start doing comedy?

• 26:19Speaker 03

I started doing comedy at Publix.

• 26:21H. Foley?

  Really?

• 26:21Speaker 01

While you were at Publix? That was like, you've only ever had two jobs in your life?

• 26:24Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I worked at the golf course when I got here.

• 26:26Speaker 01

You worked at a golf course?

• 26:27Speaker 03

  Hell nah, yeah.

• 26:29H. Foley?

Had you ever played golf before or anything like that?

• 26:31Speaker 03

Fuck no. My homeboy White can't work at the golf course. When I came here, he was like, get your job at the golf course, you wanna move? I said, hell yeah.

• 26:37Speaker 01

What were you doing at the golf course?

• 26:38Speaker 03

I was a little caddy dude.

• 26:39Speaker 01

  You were a caddy?

• 26:40Speaker 03

Not a caddy, not a caddy.

• 26:41Speaker 01

  Not a caddy.

• 26:42Speaker 03

I clean your clubs when you get back.

• 26:43Speaker 01

Yeah, really? Yeah, I've done that too.

• 26:45Speaker 03

Yeah, I was terrible at it.

• 26:46Speaker 01

  Really?

• 26:47Speaker 03

I was good at listening though. So I didn't know like none of the, I don't know shit about golf. But to get tips, you gotta talk to them, they got the coaching shit.

• 26:53H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 26:54Speaker 03

So everybody would be like, yeah, so like, how was the back nine? So I'd just be saying shit like that.

• 26:58Speaker 01

  You didn't know anything, yeah.

• 26:59Speaker 03

I'd just be like, the back nine was great, right?

• 27:01H. Foley?

  That's awesome.

• 27:01Speaker 03

I loved the back. My favorite hole is the 11th hole.

• 27:03Speaker 01

  How are the pars today?

• 27:05Speaker 03

  They were good, yeah.

• 27:06H. Foley?

  That's pretty good.

• 27:07Speaker 01

Did you make good money there though?

• 27:08Speaker 03

  Fuck no.

• 27:09Speaker 01

  No.

• 27:10H. Foley?

So hold on, give me this timeline. So you're working at Publix, you're doing comedy. I mean, this isn't that long ago, which is crazy.

• 27:14Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 27:15Speaker 01

  Three years ago?

• 27:16Speaker 03

Shit, yes, I was at Publix at 2020, 2021.

• 27:19H. Foley?

And you're doing comedy? You start doing comedy in Orlando?

• 27:22Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 27:22H. Foley?

Okay, doing open mics or whatever?

• 27:24Speaker 03

  Yes, sir.

• 27:24H. Foley?

Did you work your way up to the clubs over there doing?

• 27:26Speaker 03

Yeah, I would do, I would do, so I did, I would do the Funny Bones, it was the improv, then it was Funny Bone.

• 27:32Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 27:32Speaker 03

I would do that. Uh, and then we only had one club, so I would go to Tampa a lot and do like, it's a small little trap house called The Gimmick.

• 27:40Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 27:41Speaker 03

And I would do that a lot. And then, uh, I was, so the best name by Orlando was like you in the middle.

• 27:45Speaker 01

She in the middle of Florida, yeah.

• 27:46Speaker 03

I was all over. I was in Jacksonville and Tampa. I was, I was everywhere.

• 27:50H. Foley?

But no big traveling, like you weren't going to like the Funny Bone and like Syracuse or whatever.

• 27:53Speaker 03

  Nah, nah, yeah.

• 27:54Speaker 01

  Just local, regional stuff.

• 27:56H. Foley?

So you do it down there for a few years, then you move here and then kill Tony, you blow up?

• 27:59Speaker 03

  Yes, sir.

• 28:00Speaker 01

I got, what's the, what was the car when you were running around? What was your first car?

• 28:03Speaker 03

My first car, my mama got me a Honda Elantra.

• 28:06Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 28:07Speaker 03

Honda Elantra, yeah, yeah. She, she drove it until she paid it off and she gave it to me.

• 28:11H. Foley?

  No kidding?

• 28:11Speaker 03

  And I crashed that bitch.

• 28:12Speaker 01

  Yeah, you did.

• 28:13Speaker 03

Mm-hmm. Crashed it to the back of four people.

• 28:15Speaker 01

  Why?

• 28:16Speaker 03

I, I, so I was driving on this road going to a mic, which is crazy. I was going to a mic and, um, it was a dude I seen that I know. So I said, I was saying something, talking about fuck around with him and shit. And the light was green, but nobody was going, cause it was like a little hold up. And I slammed the back of the light, four people. They're pretty bad. And then, so after that happened, I didn't have a car. I didn't have a car, no longer had a car. But, so when I, I was living with my dad at the time. I was staying with my dad like full time and shit. I was on his couch. When I, when I started doing stand up and I was like, like I was like, man, fuck the car. Like fuck everything that just happened. How I'm gonna get to these open mics?

• 28:49Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 28:49Speaker 03

I need a way to get to these open mics. I'm, this is, I just started doing stand up like every day when I, like, this is probably like my third, we do stand up every day. And then I crashed the car. And then so I was like, pops, how I'm gonna get to open mics? He was like, nigga, I got a car. So my dad had like this old ass, this, this fucked up Jeep. And so he, at, at, so I worked during, I would work. I would go to work during the day and he had a car during doing his shit, doing his little activities and shit.

• 29:13Speaker 01

  Right.

• 29:14Speaker 03

And then at night I would use the car.

• 29:15Speaker 01

Little activities. That's so demeaning to your dad's job.

• 29:18Speaker 03

He would do shit, he would contract, whatever the fuck he do outside.

• 29:21Speaker 01

  Little activities.

• 29:21Speaker 03

His office on the porch, nigga. He don't have a, you know what I'm saying? Like, I'm not finna be like, this nigga the best contractor in the world. No fucking way, man.

• 29:29Speaker 01

His office is on the porch.

• 29:30Speaker 03

So it's like, he was doing activities and shit during the day. And then I would, uh, I would take the car at night and do mics. So me and my dad shared a car. And then one day, my uncle, he's a crackhead, he stole the car and sold it for crack. And then we had like a couple of other cars and I moved off.

• 29:45Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 29:46H. Foley?

Damn. Wonder how much crack he get for a Jeep?

• 29:48Speaker 03

Well, I think it was like, I think it was like a rented situation. He was trying to rent it to somebody for some crack. And then they, they never gave it back.

• 29:56Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 29:56Speaker 01

That'll happen in the crack trade.

• 29:57Speaker 03

Yeah, man, that shit hurt my heart, man.

• 29:59H. Foley?

I lost a, lost a stereo to a coke dealer in North Carolina.

• 30:01Speaker 03

  For real?

• 30:02H. Foley?

Actually, yeah, never got it back.

• 30:05Speaker 01

Maybe one day, put your mind to it, you can get it back.

• 30:08Speaker 03

I was still looking for that damn car too. It's fucked up.

• 30:10Speaker 01

Everyone you pass, you're looking to be like, is that it?

• 30:12Speaker 03

My head like, I had just started like making merchandise, like t-shirts and shit. And I had like, I had, so I wear slides where I go now, I wear shoes sometimes. But I had like, uh, I had like these orange phone poles. And then we tracked the car down to where the last location it was at.

• 30:25Speaker 01

Oh, with like a G, with the GPS on it?

• 30:27Speaker 03

Nah, it was just, we, we were talking to people.

• 30:30Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 30:30Speaker 03

Talking to people in the neighborhood and shit like that, we found it. But we didn't find the car.

• 30:34H. Foley?

  He was pressing the street.

• 30:35Speaker 01

I don't know, he's like, we tracked it down, I don't know, okay.

• 30:37Speaker 03

  We got there though.

• 30:38Speaker 01

  Okay, sure.

• 30:39Speaker 03

We found the house and my, my little cousin was over the fence and all my merch was in the backyard.

• 30:43Speaker 01

  No shit.

• 30:44Speaker 03

But the car wasn't there. Yeah, yeah, well.

• 30:46Speaker 01

Did you get the merch or no?

• 30:47Speaker 03

Nah, we ended up getting the merch back. They got some real one of ones, like some shit I don't even make no more. So you got that shit, please, fuck, nigga. Please.

• 30:54H. Foley?

You guys, you were too scared to go into the house and try to get it?

• 30:57Speaker 03

Yeah, them niggas, my uncle, he was like, he was really fucked up. I remember he told my stepbrother, he say, listen, if you gonna leave me alone by this goddamn car, I'm telling that nigga where y'all live. I was like, hey, wait a minute.

• 31:06Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's not get crazy.

• 31:07Speaker 03

Wait a minute, you've lost a fucking mind, brother.

• 31:10Speaker 01

Man, also talk about a guy who don't give a fuck.

• 31:12H. Foley?

Some guy comes to your house to beat you up, he's wearing your merch, like, what the fuck?

• 31:15Speaker 03

Come on, man, what's going on here, bro?

• 31:17H. Foley?

  That's me right there.

• 31:18Speaker 03

  It's some real bullshit.

• 31:19H. Foley?

Holy shit, alright, man. So you worked at the golf course, and where were you living when you got here?

• 31:25Speaker 03

I was staying with my dog White Cam.

• 31:27H. Foley?

  Staying with who?

• 31:28Speaker 03

My dog White Cam. He, he, so his name Cameron too.

• 31:31H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 31:31Speaker 03

  But he white.

• 31:32H. Foley?

  He's white Cam.

• 31:32Speaker 03

And when I got here, I was like, I'm Cameron now, he's White Cam. And so, and my dog White Cam, shout out White Cam, Cam is, that's my dog, hell yeah.

• 31:40H. Foley?

  Alright, that's pretty good.

• 31:42Speaker 01

What, uh, on the topic of first, what was the first concert you went to?

• 31:46Speaker 03

First concert? I went to, uh, uh, uh, Chatter Rapper.

• 31:49Speaker 01

• 31:50Speaker 03

Hell yeah. Big, I was, man, I was, I'm.

• 31:52Speaker 01

Was this one like he came at, like first came out, or is this?

• 31:54Speaker 03

Yeah, he was, he was doing like a real estate.

• 31:56Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 31:57Speaker 03

Yeah, he was, uh, this was, uh, me and my cousin was big fans of Chatter Rapper, mama got us tickets.

• 32:01Speaker 01

  That's great.

• 32:01Speaker 03

• 32:02Speaker 01

  Very good.

• 32:02Speaker 03

And, uh, we got to go out there and see him, which was, which was super dope, cause I did a show when, uh... I did a show in Chicago at the Zany's.

• 32:09Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 32:10Speaker 03

  Hannibal Buress pulled up.

• 32:11Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 32:11Speaker 03

  And then Chance came.

• 32:12Speaker 01

  With Hannibal.

• 32:13H. Foley?

Get the fuck out of here.

• 32:14Speaker 03

And that shit was like a real like, that was one of the coolest moments of my life, dawg.

• 32:17Speaker 01

• 32:35H. Foley?

  Doing good.

• 32:35Speaker 01

Good career. Has there been any stupid purchase since you started making money where you look back like, I didn't need this watch, this car, a hot tub, a wave runner, like?

• 32:45H. Foley?

What was the first big check that you got where you were like, holy shit?

• 32:48Speaker 03

  First big check, really?

• 32:49Speaker 01

It didn't have to be that big, just at the time where you were like, this is crazy.

• 32:52Speaker 03

Checks now were crazy, bruh. I remember my first big check was like four thousand.

• 32:55Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 32:55Speaker 03

And I, uh, I went, we, my whole family, I think somebody, something happened. My whole family was at my grandma's house and I just had the check in my wallet and I was just showing my color, like, you don't even understand this.

• 33:04Speaker 01

  This is for words, pussy.

• 33:05Speaker 03

It's all dick jokes, nigga. My, they just saying dick, they gave me four thousand dollars. I was selling, I was selling nickel bags, nigga, weed. That was last year. They gave me four thousand dollars. I was so, it was, my mom was like, you gotta stop doing that.

• 33:16Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 33:17Speaker 03

Your cousin's gonna fuck you up.

• 33:18H. Foley?

It's funny. You did that at twenty-four, twenty-three. We did it at forty-seven and thirty-eight.

• 33:24Speaker 01

I did that for the first time two years ago.

• 33:25H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 33:26Speaker 01

I called my mom, like, you know what I fucking made last night?

• 33:29Speaker 03

  No idea what's going on.

• 33:30Speaker 01

She's like, you owe me four thousand dollars.

• 33:32H. Foley?

Yeah. Has there been stupid purchases?

• 33:35Speaker 03

Nah, really, I'm, I'm finna, I'm, I'm finna get a better car, but not, not really.

• 33:38Speaker 01

What do you got now? What's out front?

• 33:39Speaker 03

I'm driving a two thousand three Acura, it's overheating right now and I got a police in the car, I'm on it.

• 33:44Speaker 01

Oh, I just saw that video, actually. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wait, that's your car?

• 33:47Speaker 03

  Yeah, I bought that, yeah.

• 33:48Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 33:48Speaker 03

  But that's all, I'm, so it's fucked up, cause I'm a-

• 33:50Speaker 01

  How much that cost you?

• 33:51Speaker 03

  Four thousand dollars.

• 33:53Speaker 01

I told you about the check.

• 33:54Speaker 03

Yeah, it's four thousand dollars, man. I got that check, I'm buying a, I'm like, God, this is my first car I ever bought by myself.

• 33:58Speaker 01

  No shit, congratulations.

• 34:00Speaker 03

  Yeah, so I didn't have-

• 34:00H. Foley?

Is that the, is that what you used the check for that you got? Was to buy that?

• 34:03Speaker 03

Nah, nah, nah, nah, I waited, I waited, I, I had, I had to pay some debt off a little bit, you know what I'm saying?

• 34:07Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 34:07Speaker 03

  But then that was, uh-

• 34:08H. Foley?

Owned Foot Locker a couple of bucks.

• 34:10Speaker 03

Real shit. But so that's, that's a, but that bitch terrible now, though.

• 34:13Speaker 01

How many miles are on that thing?

• 34:14Speaker 03

  One thousand seven hundred and-

• 34:16Speaker 01

  No, one, a hundred thousand.

• 34:18Speaker 03

Yeah, there you go, there you go.

• 34:20Speaker 01

  One thousand.

• 34:21H. Foley?

A two thousand three Acura with fifteen hundred miles on it? Yeah, she just sat it in the garage.

• 34:26Speaker 01

Okay, well, how, okay, so that you bought that with over a hundred thousand miles on it?

• 34:30Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and I just, it's just terrible.

• 34:32H. Foley?

Just bought that here just to get around?

• 34:33Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, yeah, but all the way here was overheating, like, I was like, god damn, this bitch fucking up.

• 34:37H. Foley?

So you're, now you aren't actively looking for a new car now?

• 34:40Speaker 03

Yeah, I'm probably gonna get, I'm probably gonna get some nice, that's probably what I'm

• 34:42Speaker 01

What do you, alright, what do you want?

• 34:44Speaker 03

Uh, I wanna get a Cadillac Blackwing.

• 34:46Speaker 01

  What's a Blackwing?

• 34:47Speaker 03

  It's just a, it's a Hellcat in a suit.

• 34:50H. Foley?

  God, dude.

• 34:51Speaker 03

  That'd be a five.

• 34:52H. Foley?

  That's awesome.

• 34:53Speaker 03

That'd be a five, that's probably gonna be my first, like, big purchase. I got an apartment and shit, but I don't really, I buy a lot of cologne.

• 34:58H. Foley?

  Cologne, that's what you?

• 34:59Speaker 01

I can smell it on you.

• 35:00Speaker 03

Yeah, I buy, yeah, I buy a lot of cologne.

• 35:02H. Foley?

  What do you like?

• 35:03Speaker 03

  Shit, whatever they got.

• 35:04H. Foley?

  Really?

• 35:04Speaker 03

Yeah, my cousin, my, my cousin like, my, my, he like my big brother, my cousin Justin.

• 35:08H. Foley?

  Uh huh.

• 35:08Speaker 03

So like, that nigga love cologne, he got me into it, and I just, he be like, look at this shit, I be like, I bought it already.

• 35:14H. Foley?

So you'll go into the store, you'll try some stuff on, that, that kinda stuff?

• 35:17Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, I love cologne, but I got too much. That's probably it, though. That's probably like the biggest, but, and I, I do like a lot of my family and shit.

• 35:25H. Foley?

I like that. And how's the apartment now?

• 35:27Speaker 03

  It's nice, it's decent, ain't bad.

• 35:29H. Foley?

What's the bed, king size, queen size?

• 35:31Speaker 03

Yeah, well, I got a queen size bed. I ain't, I wanted to put it on the floor, I wanted to keep it on the floor, but then I was like, I gotta get up.

• 35:36H. Foley?

Stay young, I like it, yeah, on the floors are alright.

• 35:38Speaker 03

But I wanted to keep that bitch on the floor, though.

• 35:39H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 35:40Speaker 01

Sure. What's the vacation looking like now? I guess you're try, I know you're working up, but no-

• 35:44Speaker 03

  I don't like vacations.

• 35:45Speaker 01

  Nah.

• 35:45Speaker 03

  Hell, no.

• 35:46H. Foley?

You can't just go away for a couple of days and just chill on the beach or whatever?

• 35:49Speaker 03

I've always been a weird, it's been weird for me, like, if I'm doing something, I like to do it every single day. Like, with basketball, like, we would have, like, breaks from basketball, and they would be like, uh, we'd be like a week off, and I'd come back and I'd just be so ass. So it's like, I was, so taking breaks always scared me.

• 36:02H. Foley?

  You like staying sharp?

• 36:03Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 36:03H. Foley?

  Alright.

• 36:03Speaker 03

Always terrifying, man, I'm, I'm not a vacation type dude.

• 36:07Speaker 01

That makes sense, I get that.

• 36:08H. Foley?

When did you get your passport?

• 36:10Speaker 03

I got my passport, uh, last year.

• 36:12H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 36:12Speaker 03

  Hell, yeah.

• 36:13H. Foley?

So this is the first, so the first time you traveled, is the first time you traveled out of the country to go to, to go to Canada?

• 36:18Speaker 03

Well, the first time was when I went with Tony. So this is the first time by myself, yeah.

• 36:21H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 36:22Speaker 01

But it was to four, it was for comedy, you were going to, gotcha, jeez.

• 36:26H. Foley?

I got my passport at forty-seven, dude.

• 36:28Speaker 03

  It's beautiful, though.

• 36:29H. Foley?

  Forty-seven, yeah.

• 36:30Speaker 03

  God, I've been saying.

• 36:30H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 36:32Speaker 01

Never thought you'd make it. Uh, have you ever owned a butterfly knife or a switchblade?

• 36:38Speaker 03

  Somebody gave me one, yeah.

• 36:39Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 36:40Speaker 03

Somebody gave me one, somebody like, "It's a present for you," and I was like, "This is insane."

• 36:43H. Foley?

It was a switchblade or a butterfly knife?

• 36:45Speaker 03

Yeah, I think it was a switchblade.

• 36:47H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 36:48Speaker 01

  Those are fucking dangerous.

• 36:49H. Foley?

Yeah, get rid of that thing, that's no good.

• 36:51Speaker 01

And you had mentioned you were selling nickel bags. Was this Publix time error, timeframe?

• 36:55Speaker 03

Man, so, Publix was so like, when I started working at Publix, it was like a, it was like a brief extent when I was like, really like, just outside doing a bunch of wild ass shit.

• 37:03Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 37:03Speaker 03

And I was standing at my daddy's house, and my stem, I'm like, "You gotta get a job, nigga." So, I was, I started like, I say nickel bag, but I really, I was booming for a second. Like, I was saying for like, three, four months, nigga, I was, I was booming. Then I would like, my phone getting, it started, I was telling somebody, it started, I was like, my phone started really to ring, like, when I was really outside for real. I had to choose, like, either you gonna do the stand-up shit,

• 37:23Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 37:24Speaker 03

or you gonna sell drugs, nigga. And so I was like, "Fuck it, I'mma, I'mma just try the stand-up shit." And so I, I stopped selling drugs and started working at Publix like four times.

• 37:31H. Foley?

You said the phone was ringing, like, you were starting to get real busy.

• 37:33Speaker 03

I had like, real custos, like, it was niggas like, "Nigga Cam got the drugs."

• 37:37H. Foley?

So that was encroaching on, you know, if you gotta be somewhere, you gotta be, yeah, I got you.

• 37:41Speaker 03

He said, "I'mma do this, I'mma do stand-up." And then my home, I got a homeboy who like, who was really like, who I grew up with, who was like my, that was my dog back home and shit. And then he was also like, woo, woo, cause like, when I was doing stand-up, I was selling drugs a little bit in between that. And then he was just like, "Bro, you gotta pick one for me."

• 37:55Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 37:55H. Foley?

Was it just weed, you were just selling weed?

• 37:59Speaker 01

When he said drugs, yeah, kinda, kinda picked up, it was a...

• 38:02Speaker 03

Cause like, I be trying to tell people like, I was outside, but I was like, my favorite thing about my dog, bruh, is like, he'll, he'll like, cause it's young niggas from back where I'm from and shit, that'll call me and just be like, "How you, how you made it out, how you did it and shit." And he keep my name alive in the streets, and I see it. And for them nigga, they, it seemed like I'm just, I was like, really outside, like pistol-whipping niggas and beating the shit out of people. But the whole time I was out, that bitch would've gun in my head like this.

• 38:24Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 38:24Speaker 03

• 49:18Speaker 03

  It was a knight.

• 49:19Speaker 01

  Pretty good.

• 49:20Speaker 03

Yeah, so UCF was there my, the first, my school kinda new, so the, uh, it was like, it was 10 years old when I graduated. So it was, uh, the principal that we had went to UCF was like, "With the knights." Like, that's pussy though.

• 49:31Speaker 01

  Yeah, sure.

• 49:32Speaker 03

We should've got a better name.

• 49:34Speaker 01

Do you have any, any pairs of dress shoes at the house? Like, not sneakers, like, you're going out and put on a nice pair?

• 49:40Speaker 03

Yeah, my momma's house, but I got some, yeah.

• 49:42Speaker 01

  In your mom's house?

• 49:42Speaker 03

They in Florida though, but I got some for sure. Hell yeah, I got a pair, I got one pair.

• 49:46H. Foley?

How often do you go back and see your mom?

• 49:48Speaker 03

I try to go, uh, as much as possible. I'm going, I'm, I'm, I'm going there in, uh, March, so I'll probably go back.

• 49:52H. Foley?

  Yeah, okay.

• 49:53Speaker 03

But, uh, I try to get, I got, I try to get to see her as much as I can. My dad on the road with me every weekend, but that always come.

• 49:58Speaker 01

Your dad goes on the road with you?

• 49:59Speaker 03

Every, yeah, he do, uh, he do the merch.

• 50:01Speaker 01

  Your dad sells your merch?

• 50:03Speaker 03

Yeah, he sell, my sister and my sister, they sell the merch.

• 50:05Speaker 01

  Whoa, that's sick, dude.

• 50:07Speaker 03

Yeah, but he, he always go, "Nigga, I'm robbing you."

• 50:11Speaker 03

You don't even get in and robbing you, nigga.

• 50:13Speaker 01

Ryan does our merch and he robs us for sure.

• 50:16H. Foley?

  That's awesome.

• 50:17Speaker 03

I remember, I, I, it's funny, cause my dad be coming up and like, he be having like polo suits on and shit and I, I'm like, "Where you getting all this money from?" He always go, "My investment paid off."

• 50:25Speaker 01

Yeah. Dragging your ass around for 20 years.

• 50:29H. Foley?

That's great. You're, so your dad goes everywhere with you?

• 50:31Speaker 03

Everywhere I go, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 50:32H. Foley?

  That's fucking awesome.

• 50:33Speaker 01

How old's your dad, by the way?

• 50:35Speaker 03

  He's 65.

• 50:36Speaker 01

  Damn.

• 50:36Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 50:37Speaker 01

Gotcha. What a fucking nice back half of the life.

• 50:41Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 50:41Speaker 01

Roll with your fucking comic son, hanging out at fucking clubs and shit?

• 50:44Speaker 03

He loves it, man, but he, boy, them me, we, we button heads by these meet and greets though, boy. We ready to go to work.

• 50:49H. Foley?

  Why?

• 50:50Speaker 03

Cause he get my, the, cause, cause most of the merch money go to him. So if I don't go do the meet and greet, then they don't buy as much merch. So he like, "Bring your ass out as soon as you get offstage, nigga." I'm like, "I can't sit here for five minutes? No! They waiting on you." It's like, I call him Joe Jackson out of the belt.

• 51:05Speaker 01

That's crazy, dude. He's pimping you out.

• 51:09Speaker 03

  No, for real.

• 51:09Speaker 01

Get out here and start fucking dancing.

• 51:11Speaker 03

  Nigga, you was a hoe.

• 51:12Speaker 01

  Damn.

• 51:13Speaker 03

  Make the money.

• 51:14H. Foley?

Try to go backstage, get your head on straight, have a soda, something like that. That's great.

• 51:19Speaker 03

What we doing? What's the play? You sitting down? Too long? He tell my dog Zo, he be like, Zo, this nigga get five minutes.

• 51:25Speaker 01

Cause that five, those minutes are crucial to the people hanging out, but you also need to go, whew, alright, let's go. Let's like, let me get my fucking head together, let me get a drink of water or something. Get your head to go meet a bunch of people, but some people see, if you're walking out and you're not there, they're like, I'm just fucking gone.

• 51:39Speaker 03

Yeah, and I tell them all the time, I'm like, listen, thank them for coming out, but if they don't, they don't wanna wait like 10, 15 minutes, ain't no one to see me that bad.

• 51:46Speaker 01

Sure, it's good, good head on the shoulder. What's the split of the merch with the, with your dad?

• 51:51Speaker 03

  My dad?

• 51:52Speaker 01

  He just, whatever?

• 51:54Speaker 03

I be like, send me some money, blah, whatever you need.

• 51:56Speaker 01

Oh man, that's a fucking, that's a good gig dude, that is not happening with you.

• 52:00Speaker 03

Yeah, nah, he, cause my positive shit, I always be like, I gotta, I gotta tell him like, uh, you know what I'm saying, I'm, I'm, I'ma let you know when the, when the investment has been paid off. Nigga, I don't think that's ever gonna happen.

• 52:09Speaker 01

Nah, nah, nah, nah, he's got, he's got.

• 52:11H. Foley?

You might wanna get some eyes on that.

• 52:14Speaker 01

I'm sure you move a good amount of t-shirts on a weekend.

• 52:17Speaker 03

Nah, it'd be a lot. My dad, my sister be coming up with these Louis Vuitton, what's going on here, man?

• 52:23Speaker 01

  Shit.

• 52:23Speaker 03

What's y'all making over there, man? Nigga, I'm making some real bread over here, nigga's got new couches, new TVs.

• 52:29H. Foley?

You get on a plane to go back and coach, your dad's up in first class.

• 52:32Speaker 03

See you in the front, son, see you in a minute.

• 52:35H. Foley?

  Remember, five minutes.

• 52:37Speaker 01

Damn, I mean, think about it, you were at Publix not that long ago, and then you're here, so it's like, the jump from my son works at Publix to my son selling out weekends is a fucking jump.

• 52:48Speaker 03

Huge, and he, you know, he, he was always like the catalyst of like the whole dream, you know what I'm saying? My mom, let my momma see the best, when I told her I wanna do stand-up, she wasn't on board at all.

• 52:57Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 52:58Speaker 03

And so it was kicking me out, I went to my dad's house, and my dad was like, you got a couch, you got a year.

• 53:01Speaker 01

And I forgot he lent you the car at night?

• 53:03Speaker 03

Yeah, he lent me the car.

• 53:03Speaker 01

  He deserves the merch.

• 53:04Speaker 03

So I, I wouldn't even be like, nigga, what the, what's up with the money?

• 53:09H. Foley?

  That's pretty good.

• 53:09Speaker 03

This is, this is dope, and I, and then they always, like, the people I got around me keep like, keep me on my, like, just keep me on a clear space, like my pops and my sister, and niggas I started with.

• 53:18Speaker 01

  Yeah, it's great.

• 53:19H. Foley?

You get your dad on the road, you can't get in too much trouble.

• 53:21Speaker 03

Yeah, I can't, no, he the problem.

• 53:22Speaker 01

Yeah, he's probably out, he's probably out running around, dude.

• 53:24Speaker 03

He's an issue, man. I remember, I remember the other day, so.

• 53:27Speaker 01

He's like Drake's dad. He's in the video and shit?

• 53:31Speaker 03

Bro, I'll never forget, y'all got a marker over there, can I get a marker? My dad, bro, I swear to God, no lie, so girls want me to sign their titties and shit, right? And so my dad, he see that and go, "What?" And so he'll like, I remember the other day, he had a, I was signing titty and I looked back.

• 53:46Speaker 01

How many titties would you say you're signing?

• 53:48Speaker 03

On a weekend, probably like six, seven?

• 53:51Speaker 01

That's a lot of titties, man.

• 53:51Speaker 03

I was signing the titty, I looked at my dad, my dad had a marker like, "What the pray is?" "I'm gonna sign one too." He's fucking insane, man. Like, I'll be like, "Hey, boss, you gotta chill the fuck out." It's a case, this is one.

• 54:06Speaker 01

  Signing titties?

• 54:07Speaker 03

He was talking to this one girl, and my dad like 6'4", he like 300 pounds, and he don't realize, he like, he a menacing dude.

• 54:12Speaker 01

That's also security, you're on with security, you gotta...

• 54:14Speaker 03

Nah, he can't help for fuck.

• 54:15Speaker 01

I know, but I'm just saying, he's big enough to like get fucking, nobody wants to take a run at him.

• 54:19H. Foley?

Man, how proud of a dad do you gotta be? Three years ago working at Publix, he's watching you sign titties like, "Yeah."

• 54:25Speaker 03

I did it, but my dog had the funniest story, we did, I did carbs and stuff, I just go in there, put my name on the monkey, and then my dad was walking up with my dog, and he was like, uh, he said, "Look at that shit out there, boy." He said, my dog said, "Yeah, say Cam Patterson," he said, "Man, fuck that, that shit's like Patterson."

• 54:40H. Foley?

  Oh, yeah.

• 54:41Speaker 03

  Hell, Cam.

• 54:42Speaker 01

  Yeah, that's sick.

• 54:43H. Foley?

That's awesome, man, what a come up, we love it.

• 54:45Speaker 01

Damn, dude, uh, I mean, I don't have that much more for, I mean...

• 54:49H. Foley?

Are you a mayonnaise guy, you like mayo?

• 54:51Speaker 03

Ah, I can do it or without it, I don't really...

• 54:53H. Foley?

  Tuna fish?

• 54:54Speaker 03

  I hate tuna, nigga.

• 54:56Speaker 01

  Really?

• 54:56Speaker 03

I can't stand tuna, tuna's fucking disgusting. I hate all, I hate any type of tuna, nigga, I don't want tuna, I like sushi, but everything they make with sushi got tuna in it. It piss me off.

• 55:08H. Foley?

Well, you don't like the regular, good tuna?

• 55:09Speaker 03

  I ain't never tried it.

• 55:13H. Foley?

The kid's trash, I like it, dude.

• 55:15Speaker 01

  Dirtbag, I love it.

• 55:17H. Foley?

• 55:27Speaker 01

  Killing it.

• 55:28H. Foley?

It really is. What else you want the folks out to know, what do you got coming up? It'll be out pretty quick.

• 55:31Speaker 03

I'm on the road and shit, and then I just, I do a lot of titties on YouTube, I'm trying to get YouTube shit popping, so just Cam Patterson on YouTube, and that's about it, hell yeah.

• 55:39H. Foley?

It was great, you're doing such different stuff on there. We were looking at it today and I was like, man, this is all fantastic.

• 55:44Speaker 01

I watched a video of you install, I didn't realize that was your car in the video. I thought it was, I thought you were like, I bought this piece of shit car to have fun with. And because he installs a fucking, uh, speaker, like a CB speaker and he's just driving, he's just driving around fucking the neighborhoods, like playing fucking music, you got a girl twerking and shit.

• 56:03Speaker 03

Yeah, it was dope, it was cool.

• 56:04Speaker 01

I was like, that's alright, that's my kinda fucking content.

• 56:06Speaker 03

I don't know how, I don't know how legal it is, but it also had the police siren on it.

• 56:10Speaker 01

Yeah, it's not legal at all.

• 56:11H. Foley?

  Yeah, lose the police siren.

• 56:13Speaker 03

And I don't have, I don't have no plates on my car neither, I need to do that.

• 56:16Speaker 01

  You have no plates?

• 56:17Speaker 03

  No.

• 56:30H. Foley?

But then keep that one, in case somebody needs it.

• 56:31Speaker 03

For sure, I thought the game plan was to fix it up and then give it to a comic who don't have no car.

• 56:35Speaker 01

  Come on, man.

• 56:37Speaker 03

  That was the plan.

• 56:38Speaker 01

  What are we doing here?

• 56:38Speaker 03

So hopefully it don't, you know what I'm saying, it don't break down on me, it do, I'll probably just get another one and just try to give it to somebody new.
