It's that little show we sit down with your favorite comedians and we find out they're good to be classy.

• 1:21Speaker 01

  Basura.

• 1:22H. Foley?

I'm your host, H. Foley, coming at you on a beautiful day. We're out back here with Tooties and the new addition. She just stole the turkey.

  Okay.

For Thanksgiving. Got a big one this year, Kippee. You're gonna love it.

• 2:01Speaker 01

  That's why it stinks.

• 2:03H. Foley?

Son of a bitch. Gang, that's either here nor there, because we couldn't be more excited to have our incredibly, and I mean incredibly special guest, back with us again today. He is a very funny, very successful stand-up comedian, podcaster now, and amateur race car driver. He's got a brand-new podcast, The Fat Fish Podcast, which you gotta go check out over there on YouTube, wherever you get your podcasts. It's absolutely fantastic. Give it up for Mr. Ralph Barbosa, everybody. You look like you're in disguise. Something's, you look younger than you did last time you were here.

• 2:37Speaker 03

  Yeah?

• 2:37H. Foley?

It's the glasses, it's the hair.

• 2:39Speaker 03

Maybe, yeah, I got a little Harry Potter action.

• 2:43Speaker 01

  Mexican Harry Potter.

• 2:44Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 2:46H. Foley?

  What's with the shades?

• 2:49Speaker 03

  My vision is bad.

• 2:53H. Foley?

  Did you wear contacts before?

• 2:54Speaker 03

  No, I've always needed glasses.

• 2:56H. Foley?

  Are you fucking kidding me?

• 2:57Speaker 03

I just can't afford them now.

• 2:59H. Foley?

Are you nearsighted or farsighted? Can you see things far away?

• 3:02Speaker 03

Far, no, that's the one that I can't see things far away.

• 3:05H. Foley?

And you, how old are you?

• 3:06Speaker 03

  I'm 28.

• 3:07H. Foley?

You've been riding like that for 20, you've been driving like that?

• 3:11Speaker 03

Yeah, no, I had, like, I've always gotten my glasses, but I'll have them for like two weeks and then I'll lose them. But, yeah, last time I was here, I was promoting the Netflix special, so once that check came in, I bought like 10, 10 pairs of glasses.

• 3:25H. Foley?

I was gonna say, isn't it annoying for you, because like, when I don't know, Mike, I don't know how bad your vision is, but I got bad, I can't see shit, and when I don't have them in, it's like I'm in my own world.

• 3:34Speaker 03

Nah, I mean, I see enough.

• 3:36Speaker 01

Whatever I need to get by, dude.

• 3:39Speaker 03

Yeah, I mean, I'm not like picky. I see stuff or I don't, you know?

• 3:44Speaker 01

I've not meant to see it, I don't see it.

• 3:45Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:46Speaker 01

Uh, so, so you was that, you, so you bought, you got the Netflix check.

• 3:50Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:51Speaker 01

That's one of the one things that we wanted to talk to you about. You're big into, you were into cars before.

• 3:55Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:55Speaker 01

You're like relatively big into cars now.

• 3:58Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:58Speaker 01

  It's gotten...

• 3:59H. Foley?

But you were making cash before then, now you're, you're selling out everywhere. You're making cash on the road.

• 4:03Speaker 03

Well, yeah, I was making cash on the road, but I, like, when I came on here with you guys last year, I had only been on the road for maybe a year tops.

• 4:12H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 4:13Speaker 03

So, yeah, I was still kinda, everything hit off kinda fast for me.

• 4:17H. Foley?

So this was your first big, big check?

• 4:19Speaker 03

Yeah, and that, plus the cash that I was getting on the road, I was, I was spending it very... Very stupidiously.

• 4:27H. Foley?

  Join the club, kid.

• 4:29Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 4:30H. Foley?

I think, you gotta go through that trial by fire.

• 4:32Speaker 03

Yeah, you gotta, if you've never had money, you gotta learn how to

• 4:36Speaker 01

  Have it.

• 4:36Speaker 03

Have it, something which I'm still

• 4:39H. Foley?

  By spending it.

• 4:39Speaker 03

  I'm still learning it, yeah.

• 4:41Speaker 01

  I got all them glasses.

• 4:42Speaker 03

You need some regrets, you know?

• 4:44Speaker 01

Sure. So, the, how, so one of the things is, you just posted that you did your first race.

• 4:51Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 4:52Speaker 01

  You drove.

• 4:53Speaker 03

Yeah, I drove. I got this, I got a little car.

• 4:56H. Foley?

You were like a Camry or something, weren't you? It was like a regular car.

• 4:58Speaker 03

  Actually, no, it looks regular.

• 5:00H. Foley?

That's what bootleggers do. That's what the kids do.

• 5:03Speaker 03

  It's called a, it's called a Chevy SS. It's a 2017 Chevy. They made those from 2014, I believe, to 2017. I forgot what they're called in Australia. They're, they're really popular over there.

• 5:13Speaker 01

  Uh huh.

• 5:14Speaker 03

Uh, it looks like a Chevy Malibu.

• 5:17Speaker 01

  Yeah, it doesn't look impressive.

• 5:18H. Foley?

  Yeah, Chevy Malibu.

• 5:19Speaker 03

Yeah, but it has the motor from a Camaro, from a Super, it has a 6.2, I think it's like a 370 inch, 22 inch. Um, yeah, it's a pretty fast car. The guy who built it put like, performance heads on it, long tube headers, a Borla exhaust. He put those fat fuel injectors on it and a couple of other things. So the thing was powerful. I actually traded that. I won, I technically won the car.

• 5:42H. Foley?

  How?

• 5:43Speaker 03

  So I, I won a 2019 Camaro.

• 5:45Speaker 01

  Where?

• 5:46H. Foley?

  For what?

• 5:46Speaker 01

  A lottery?

• 5:47Speaker 03

  In a game of horse.

• 5:49Speaker 01

  What?

• 5:50Speaker 03

Yeah. I won't say who I won it from, out of respect.

• 5:54Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 5:56H. Foley?

How do you get to that point where it's like, fuck it, let's do it for a Camaro?

• 5:59Speaker 03

Well, I'm, I'm not, I'm not a great basketball player. Like, I'm not fast. I don't have great handling skills.

• 6:06Speaker 01

  What are you expecting?

• 6:07Speaker 03

But what's crazy is that even without the glasses, ever since I was a kid, I've had a mean jump shot. I loved playing growing up.

• 6:14Speaker 01

So you just got practice on the shot?

• 6:16Speaker 03

Yeah, so, I, usually in games of horse, I'll, I'll start betting with people.

• 6:19Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 6:20Speaker 03

  And I started

• 6:21Speaker 01

Give me the rundown of where that bet started to the car.

• 6:24Speaker 03

The bet started with like 50 bucks a game.

• 6:27Speaker 01

  Jesus Christ.

• 6:29Speaker 03

  Yeah, and then

• 6:30H. Foley?

And you took the guy's car?

• 6:32Speaker 03

Out one of them, it was like, uh, I had, I had an eighty-seven supersport Monte Carlo with twenty-four thousand original miles on it. Interior was just clean as the day it came out of the factory.

• 6:43H. Foley?

  Uh huh.

• 6:44Speaker 03

Car was beautiful. Actually, uh, sold that car, which I regret now.

• 6:47H. Foley?

Did you put that up? Well, what did you have to put up?

• 6:50Speaker 01

  Put up that car?

• 6:51Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 6:51H. Foley?

So how many games a horse, this is crazy.

• 6:54Speaker 01

Are you like, you up ten games and you're like, he's like, fuck it, let's go for the car?

• 6:57Speaker 03

  No, um.

• 6:59H. Foley?

  Could have hustled him.

• 6:59Speaker 03

We had already stopped playing. And it was like the next day, and, and instead of being like fifty bucks a game, he's like, put up the, the Monte Carlo for my Camaro. Cause his Camaro, he bought it wrecked, and he had just got it fixed and everything.

• 7:14Speaker 01

  Jesus.

• 7:15Speaker 03

And it was like good to go.

• 7:16H. Foley?

Can this guy afford to lose a car?

• 7:18Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 7:18H. Foley?

  Okay, alright.

• 7:20Speaker 03

  And I'm, I'm like, alright.

• 7:21H. Foley?

I'm trying to figure out who it is now.

• 7:21Speaker 01

Yeah, this motherfucker's trying to get the won the next day.

• 7:24Speaker 03

  Yeah, you guys don't know.

• 7:25Speaker 01

  Ralph Scott his car.

• 7:26Speaker 03

Uh, and I, so I won it, and I had been looking for a Chevy SS. The guy who showed them to me is the guy who built the one I have now, right?

• 7:35H. Foley?

  Uh huh.

• 7:35Speaker 03

So it was, he showed, he introduced me to SSs through his own SS. And, uh, I had been looking for one, but they're a little hard to find, especially cause people who like love those cars, like if they, if they're at a used car lot, you know, people get them fast.

• 7:49Speaker 01

  They go quick, yeah.

• 7:51H. Foley?

And then they hook them up.

• 7:52Speaker 03

Yeah, so, um, the guy who had that Chevy SS around that time was, uh, he was going, he was to this thing called Race Week, where you go to like four or five different states in one week to drag racing events. And during that time, he kept finding, um, those Apple, what do they call those tracker things?

• 8:12H. Foley?

  Air tags.

• 8:13Speaker 03

The air tags on his car.

• 8:14H. Foley?

Get the fuck out of here.

• 8:15Speaker 03

People wanted to rob it, you know?

• 8:17Speaker 01

  No shit.

• 8:18Speaker 03

So, he, he, uh, he had just had his baby, so he was like, you know, I don't want this car and, and the, and the, the, the type of attention it gets, and I have my kid with me and stuff. So he wanted to get rid of it, and I was like, man, I'll trade you for this Camaro, and then you can probably sell that Camaro quicker or something, you know, or something. And uh, he had, he had, he was already trying to sell that car. He had somebody else lined up to get it. And he didn't really want the Camaro. He was like, nah, I'll just sell this one, you know? But I don't know. I guess the Camaro, he was just like, screw it. Yeah, I mean, that dude loves to race.

• 8:47Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 8:48Speaker 03

So he kept the Camaro, turned that into a race car. I got the SS. It was a happy trade.

• 8:53H. Foley?

Wait, so was he, was there ever like, was it, when you go into this game?

• 8:58Speaker 01

You're back at the game of horse.

• 8:59H. Foley?

  Are we indoor or outdoor?

• 9:00Speaker 03

  Outdoor.

• 9:01H. Foley?

  You're outdoor.

• 9:02Speaker 01

  Someone's driveway?

• 9:03Speaker 03

  My driveway.

• 9:04Speaker 01

  You're playing in your driveway?

• 9:05Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 9:05H. Foley?

And is there any like, after you win, like, ah, don't worry about it, man. We were just fucking around or?

• 9:10Speaker 01

  Nah.

• 9:10Speaker 03

  There, yeah, I did that.

• 9:12H. Foley?

  And he was like, no.

• 9:13Speaker 01

  A bet's a bet.

• 9:13Speaker 03

And so I was like, alright. I gave, I gave you one shot.

• 9:18H. Foley?

  That's crazy.

• 9:19Speaker 01

That's the gentleman's move. I'll give you the hay that cut out of hay.

• 9:21Speaker 03

I lost my Chevy SS to that guy and then I got it back.

• 9:25Speaker 01

Jesus fucking Christ. That's crazy. That's fucking, that's like new rapper shit. That's, that's.

• 9:32H. Foley?

What the fuck? Roll on the, they like this house, huh?

• 9:35Speaker 01

Did it come down to one shot to remember the score?

• 9:38Speaker 03

It, it was getting kinda crazy. Um, though, like, uh, the game where I lost my SS, I, it got, it got real close and I remember.

• 9:48H. Foley?

Wait, hold on. I'm, you lost the SS in a game of horse too?

• 9:51Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 9:51Speaker 01

  But won it back.

• 9:52Speaker 03

But I won it back later that night. But I, but I always remember.

• 9:55H. Foley?

And then won the guy's Camaro?

• 9:57Speaker 03

Nah, I won the Camaro first. I won the Camaro. I got the SS. Then like a month later, he played me for the SS. And I forgot what he put, yeah, and I lost it.

• 10:04H. Foley?

Dude, what the fuck? You're playing horse. That's the craziest thing in the world.

• 10:08Speaker 03

But I lost because uh, he's really good at those uh, where you're like under, right under the net and get, and get, and you know, turning the ball.

• 10:17H. Foley?

He's got an underhand shot you wouldn't believe.

• 10:19Speaker 03

So he got me with one of those, but.

• 10:23H. Foley?

You lost the car on a skyhook.

• 10:25Speaker 01

  I like it.

• 10:27H. Foley?

  What the fuck, Ralph?

• 10:27Speaker 01

  That's crazy, dude.

• 10:29H. Foley?

And you gotta do all the paperwork and all that shit too, right? You sign it over to him or whatever?

• 10:34Speaker 01

I'll be losing this again in a week.

• 10:37Speaker 03

Yeah, we don't do no paperwork.

• 10:39H. Foley?

  God damn.

• 10:40Speaker 03

And it's all love, we're all, we're all close. This is, I only do this with like-

• 10:43Speaker 01

  It's your boys.

• 10:44Speaker 03

Close friends and family, so if there, there's no like, um, harbored, what do you call it, like resentment?

• 10:51Speaker 01

  Yeah, harboring emotions, yeah.

• 10:52Speaker 03

  Yeah, uh, it's all good.

• 10:55H. Foley?

What the fuck, man, that's crazy.

• 10:57Speaker 03

A week later, just like Ralph Barbosa shot over a, over a car dispute.

• 11:01Speaker 01

By close personal friend and/or family member.

• 11:03Speaker 03

  Horse game goes wrong.

• 11:06H. Foley?

Jesus. And now, that, with the race that I saw, that we saw online, that's not, was that your first race or no?

• 11:12Speaker 03

Yeah, it was a, it was at a track, uh, out in Texas, um, it was in like this crazy event, but every weekend they do drag racing at that strip.

• 11:21Speaker 01

Did you, I'm sorry to cut you off, did you drag race as a kid?

• 11:24Speaker 03

  Nah.

• 11:24Speaker 01

Like, any of your boys or anything, no?

• 11:26Speaker 03

I mean, I'd take my mom's car and try to like, race and drift and stuff.

• 11:30Speaker 01

Lost in a game of pig.

• 11:32H. Foley?

What kind of car was your mom in?

• 11:33Speaker 03

My mom had an Acura, my grandma had a Jeep. The Jeep, if I'm not mistaken, it was a rear wheel drive, so we used to be able to like, we'd go to an empty parking lot and just start trying to slide it and drift it and stuff, but it, you know, they're built kinda boxy, so they, they like, almost tip over.

• 11:49Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 11:50Speaker 03

It'd almost tip over here and there.

• 11:51H. Foley?

And you bring it back to your grandma's house and it smells like burnt rubber, she say anything to you?

• 11:55Speaker 03

Yeah, one time, be- because the, the Acura was front wheel drive, but it was faster, so we, we'd take that one, this is one, uh, two lane street with the median in the middle, and we, we just, you know, floor it, and then we'd try to do like a 180 drift and then come back, right?

• 12:12Speaker 01

  Around?

• 12:13Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 12:13Speaker 01

Like, that's what they did in fucking Too Fast Too Furious, go down around the barrel and back.

• 12:18Speaker 03

  And then come back, yeah.

• 12:19Speaker 01

Play chickens, see if you really want it.

• 12:21Speaker 03

One day, my mom and my grandma were just like-

• 12:23Speaker 01

  This is crazy.

• 12:26Speaker 03

One day my mom and my grandma were like, "Man, my tires are like bald." And my grandma was like, "Me too, like what the hell."

• 12:35H. Foley?

Yeah, they don't make them like they used to.

• 12:37Speaker 01

I don't hope it don't snow down there.

• 12:38Speaker 03

I was like, "You guys gotta stop buying cheap tires."

• 12:41Speaker 01

Get some Pirellis, something I can ride with.

• 12:44Speaker 03

But I never actually like, you know.

• 12:46Speaker 01

Like raced, like tried, god damn.

• 12:48H. Foley?

But now that's something you wanna do. And are you in there with a regular seatbelt? Or you got like a harness and a helmet and shit?

• 12:54Speaker 01

Is there a cage on that thing?

• 12:55Speaker 03

Nah, bro, I just put on the seatbelt so the beeping would shut up.

• 12:57Speaker 01

He's sitting on top of it?

• 12:58Speaker 03

Yeah, just rolled in there like that. I had a beanie on to provide cushion.

• 13:06Speaker 03

But my car, my car was, it's not like super, it's making like 500 something horses tops. Like, it's not crazy, you know what I mean?

• 13:13H. Foley?

And you went around the track?

• 13:14Speaker 03

Uh, no, it was straight away.

• 13:16H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 13:16Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 13:17Speaker 01

Did you get dusted or did you win?

• 13:18Speaker 03

No, I lost. I lost against the guy who built the car. He has a race truck that is just like stupid fast. In Texas, the most popular racing is like the eighth mile.

• 13:27H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 13:27Speaker 03

So his truck will do like an eighth of a mile in like six seconds flat.

• 13:31Speaker 01

  Damn, Jesus.

• 13:32Speaker 03

Yeah, the car will do it like an eight, eight-ish.

• 13:35H. Foley?

Should get a Playstation or something like that. Start doing some pushups or something. Man, the kid likes the action. How many cars do you have now?

• 13:44Speaker 03

  Running or like all together?

• 13:47H. Foley?

Let's go all together, cause you're working on them.

• 13:49Speaker 03

All together, I got maybe about like 10-ish.

• 13:52H. Foley?

Damn, what are you gonna have in fucking, you're gonna be like fucking Seinfeld.

• 13:57Speaker 01

You're gonna be like the Mexican Jay Leno.

• 13:58H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 13:59Speaker 03

That would, that would be sick. I just gotta grow my chin out a bit.

• 14:04H. Foley?

Get some, get some denim. Damn, you got 10 cars.

• 14:09Speaker 01

Okay, and how many you run?

• 14:10Speaker 03

Um, one, two, three, four. I think, I think four or five, like half of them.

• 14:17H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 14:18Speaker 03

The other half, you know, I just go outside in the backyard and I see them out there and I take a sip of some beer and I just go, "Yeah."

• 14:26Speaker 01

  Yep, sure.

• 14:27H. Foley?

You don't fix them at all? Can you fix a car?

• 14:29Speaker 03

I'm learning to. So I used to do bodywork. I don't know if I talked about that.

• 14:32H. Foley?

Yeah, you did, yeah. Bodywork we know.

• 14:34Speaker 03

  Body and paint.

• 14:35H. Foley?

You can change in oil though?

• 14:36Speaker 03

Yeah, I mean, stuff like that was always pretty simple. Change out a part, a starter and alternator, whatever. But since I got these. Since I got these other cars and I wanted to put performance parts on them. I met a dude, because one of my favorite cars is the Nissan Skyline. It's a GT-R and I met a dude who's like a GT-R enthusiast.

• 14:55H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 14:56Speaker 03

Who does a lot of content, just building cars, fixing them, and he only buys cars that either they don't run, or they just suck.

• 15:03H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 15:04Speaker 03

And he loves to fix them. He's also, you know, he's, he's, he doesn't believe in like buying something that he didn't like build.

• 15:11H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 15:12Speaker 03

Which I, I like that. So, once I started buying performance parts for my car, I linked up with this dude and I asked him to teach me to like put them on. So I've been learning little by little.

• 15:21Speaker 01

You got a garage you keep them in?

• 15:23Speaker 03

  Yeah. I never.

• 15:24H. Foley?

You gotta, they're not just at the house anymore.

• 15:26Speaker 03

  No, they're at, they're where I live.

• 15:28Speaker 01

You have a garage on the property?

• 15:30Speaker 03

Yeah, I built a house on my dad's land.

• 15:33Speaker 01

So, this is another thing, you were in your dad's house, or you were in.

• 15:37Speaker 03

I'm still in my dad's house. I'm never gonna leave.

• 15:40Speaker 01

But you built a house there as well?

• 15:42Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 15:42H. Foley?

Over this last year, you've built a house on your dad's property?

• 15:45Speaker 03

Yeah. So here's the thing. I, I built the house on my dad's land. And the bottom floor.

• 15:50Speaker 01

  He lost it to me.

• 15:53Speaker 01

  It's mine now.

• 15:55H. Foley?

Chicken fights in the pool. Now I own all the property.

• 15:58Speaker 03

Oh, I built a house there and I wanted the bottom floor to just be all garage, to fit as many cars as possible. And the top floor be where we live. And, once it was finished, like I didn't want to leave. So, I also built what could be a body shop right next door to the house. And, my uncle who taught me how to paint.

• 16:19Speaker 01

You are living in a dirtbag.

• 16:21H. Foley?

  Dude, it's crazy.

• 16:22Speaker 01

  It's nuts.

• 16:23Speaker 03

My uncle who taught me how to paint was already looking to move with his family. And, he has, you know, he had his place where he was living, but then he was also renting a shop.

• 16:32H. Foley?

  Uh huh.

• 16:33Speaker 03

So I was like, how about you just move into my house? I stay at my dad's, you live in there with your family, and you have a shop. And my uncle didn't want to do it. He's a very proud man. He's like, nah, nah, I'll find my own thing, you know, but I was like, man, just go. Even my dad was like.

• 16:46Speaker 01

This is a, this is a fucking deal.

• 16:47Speaker 03

  It's a deal.

• 16:48H. Foley?

Is the house close enough where he can get like the, like the, the business traffic or whatever?

• 16:53Speaker 03

Nah, because he mostly just has his like private customers. It isn't like a, hey, could I come in here and get fixed?

• 16:58H. Foley?

It's not like a Pep Boys.

• 16:59Speaker 03

Yeah, he's been doing it so long. He just has like his clients.

• 17:02Speaker 01

  Gotcha. That's fucking sweet.

• 17:04Speaker 03

Yeah. So we're, it's just, we have like a cult.

• 17:08Speaker 01

  Yeah, you're, yeah, you're building a compound.

• 17:10Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 17:10H. Foley?

How big's the house with the garage underneath? How many bedrooms is it?

• 17:14Speaker 03

  I don't, I don't remember like the square footage, but it's a, it's three bedrooms.

• 17:20Speaker 03

There's like a guest bath. So in total, there's like three places you could shower.

• 17:25Speaker 01

  Damn.

• 17:26Speaker 03

  Um, it's, it's, it's.

• 17:28Speaker 01

  That's nice.

• 17:29Speaker 03

  A decent sized house.

• 17:29H. Foley?

And who built it? And like, are you like getting like the blueprints and like, yeah, I like this. I want this.

• 17:34Speaker 03

I just drew it out the best that I could. And then like in the, I was like, I drew like a big walk-in closet and I wanted a, a Batman style.

• 17:43H. Foley?

  Of course, to go down.

• 17:44Speaker 03

  To go down. So like.

• 17:46Speaker 01

  Like a pole?

• 17:47Speaker 03

No, it's not a pole. It's like a little ladder. And so if you're in the garage, it looks like it's a part of the, uh, like a little pillar coming out of the wall. Like it looks like it's part of the thing. But there's a secret door. You can just like go through there.

• 17:58H. Foley?

And is there a secret door upstairs? Like is it behind like a bookcase?

• 18:01Speaker 03

So, okay. So before you start thinking.

• 18:03H. Foley?

Man, you are blowing cash. I fucking love this kid.

• 18:06Speaker 03

Hold on, before you think of this like really cool bachelor pad, uh, it's still tech, that, that stuff is technically not finished, those parts.

• 18:14Speaker 01

Okay. I have a feeling they might never be finished.

• 18:16Speaker 03

Yeah. So right now there's just a hole in, in the closet that just goes down and there, and the wood is there, but it's not like covered up. So you could see somebody just sneaking down.

• 22:50H. Foley?

And you have all the cars, like, do you have them lined up, like, parked nice?

• 22:54Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 22:55H. Foley?

And it's a nice, is it, like, heated down there?

• 22:57Speaker 01

  Yeah, we got those, ah...

• 22:59Speaker 03

Like those, I don't know what you call them, but there's AC and heat.

• 23:02H. Foley?

No shit. And they're just there, show, showpieces.

• 23:05Speaker 03

  I, I mean, I drive them.

• 23:07H. Foley?

No, but I mean, like, they're ready to go. They're sitting there.

• 23:09Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 23:10Speaker 01

What's, what's the day to day car?

• 23:12Speaker 03

The day to day car, um, it depends. Like, for a little while, I was driving around this, uh, this, this 1998 Nissan 240. And those cars, it's like real low to the ground. Doesn't have much power, but it feels like you're driving around a go-kart.

• 23:25Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 23:26Speaker 03

But I never put insurance or like, got it registered. So I stopped driving it because I kept getting pulled over.

• 23:31H. Foley?

  Sure. Makes sense.

• 23:32Speaker 03

And, uh, but a lot of the police that would pull me over would be like, hey, man, you're funny.

• 23:38Speaker 03

They're like, get on out of here, you wacky.

• 23:41Speaker 01

  Crazy kids.

• 23:43Speaker 01

Those bar, those bar, bar bosses are up to no good out there.

• 23:46Speaker 03

Uh, one guy was just like, yeah, I don't know who you are. You're getting tickets.

• 23:50H. Foley?

Sure. Do you say to them, hey, I'm a comedian?

• 23:52Speaker 03

Nah. I just, I just like, sorry, but I'll tell them right when they pull me over, like, sir.

• 23:57Speaker 01

  He's got Netflix queued up.

• 23:58Speaker 03

Nah, I'd be like, sir, um, I'm gonna let you know right now, I got no insurance, no tags, like, before, like, not gonna lie to you.

• 24:05H. Foley?

You can always just be like, I'm, you know, I'm fixing it up. I just wanted to take it out for a test drive, whatever.

• 24:10Speaker 03

I, I tell them, I'm like, I don't, um, because I live in a small Texas town. I'm like out in the country. So I'm like, I don't go far. I was like, I hope you don't think I was trying to take this far or like, just picking up my kid from school and just.

• 24:23Speaker 01

Do you have like the, even like the temporary registration ta, or you have, there's nothing on it?

• 24:27Speaker 03

  There's my friend's old plates.

• 24:29Speaker 01

Oh, so there are plates on?

• 24:30Speaker 03

The guy I bought it from, yeah.

• 24:31Speaker 01

Okay. So at least like visually, it looks like the car's registered.

• 24:35Speaker 03

  Yeah, nah, nah.

• 24:38Speaker 03

If you look at this car, you're like, no.

• 24:42Speaker 03

  But it's fun to drive.

• 24:43H. Foley?

So you got your uncle and your, and his family in the house now. So now the family's even bigger on the property.

• 24:48Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 24:49H. Foley?

And you got your dad in there.

• 24:50Speaker 01

Does your dad want you out?

• 24:52Speaker 03

  Nah.

• 24:53H. Foley?

It's tight. You guys are a tight unit.

• 24:54Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 24:55H. Foley?

That's even, that's even cozier. Does he have kids, your uncle?

• 24:58Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 24:59H. Foley?

So you got the kids running around, all that shit.

• 25:01Speaker 03

They, they, uh, my, you know, my son lives with me. So like they're, they're always playing with my son. He has cousins and stuff. So, yeah, nah, it's sick. I love it.

• 25:08H. Foley?

That's awesome, man. I bet it's fucking, it's quite the life you're, you're carving out for yourself.

• 25:12Speaker 03

  Where do you live?

• 25:15Speaker 01

He lives with his parents. Not, not in the cool way.

• 25:18H. Foley?

Not in the Batman house. I'll tell you that.

• 25:21Speaker 01

I do want to say you, uh, following you on Instagram, you have inspired me to buy my first.

• 25:27H. Foley?

  Oh, yeah.

• 25:28Speaker 01

I went back and bought the first car I ever owned.

• 25:30Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 25:30Speaker 01

But you have cool, mine's not cool.

• 25:32Speaker 03

  What'd you buy?

• 25:33Speaker 01

  A 95 Chevy Lumina.

• 25:35Speaker 03

  Yeah?

• 25:35Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 25:36Speaker 03

Lumina? I thought you were gonna say like a pickup truck.

• 25:38H. Foley?

Louis, go get the basketball. We're about to win a Camaro.

• 25:44Speaker 01

It's this. I bought one of these.

• 25:46Speaker 03

  Hell, yeah.

• 25:46Speaker 01

I just, I got it like two weeks ago. I fucking, it's awesome. I just drive it around.

• 25:51Speaker 03

You drove it for the nostalgia?

• 25:52Speaker 01

Yeah, just as a bit, kind of.

• 25:54Speaker 03

How old were you when you had it?

• 25:55Speaker 01

  16.

• 25:56Speaker 03

  16?

• 25:56Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 25:57Speaker 03

Do you remind me asking what year is this?

• 25:59Speaker 01

  What year I was, I was 16?

• 26:01Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 26:02Speaker 01

  Uh...

• 26:03H. Foley?

  2023?

• 26:05Speaker 01

  2000, uh, probably like 2002, 2003?

• 26:09Speaker 03

Hell, yeah. So you're in your Lumina, you take your girl to go watch Spider-Man 1?

• 26:15Speaker 03

You got the collectible Tobey Maguire popcorn tin cans?

• 26:19Speaker 01

Sure. I'm not, not closing the deal by any means.

• 26:22H. Foley?

Had enough to make out point to strike out?

• 26:24Speaker 03

You got some juvenile plan? Shorty look good, want you back that ass?

• 26:28Speaker 01

I was a big, I was the one, get Richard, I try and hit. That was lodged in, that was lodged in the aftermarket, uh, head unit, I put it.

• 26:35Speaker 03

You were driving the Lumina, like, you window shop?

• 26:38Speaker 01

  Oh, man, yeah.

• 26:40Speaker 03

You're licking in the rearview like, what'd you say? Get up on my car.

• 26:43Speaker 01

  Get up on my car.

• 26:45Speaker 01

  That's a deep cut, wow. That's a 50 fan right there.

• 26:49H. Foley?

So other than the cars, have you done anything in, so you're still in your room? At the house. Have you, have you upgraded anything in there? Have you upgraded anything in your dad's house? Cause you've been touring for the last year. You got the Netflix check. You got a lot of stuff coming. You see, you got the Hulu special coming out when it's ready.

• 27:06Speaker 03

I got this, uh, cool poster. It's like framed. It's like this framed poster. It's a painting of cars on the highway.

• 27:13Speaker 01

  Really?

• 27:13Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 27:14Speaker 01

  What'd that set you back?

• 27:15Speaker 03

  Uh, like a hundred bucks.

• 27:19H. Foley?

  Really throwing it around.

• 27:20Speaker 01

  Mostly frame money there.

• 27:22Speaker 03

You know what's cool is like I'll go to Walmart and just ball out and everybody's looking at me like, "The hell?" I guess because I like-

• 27:28Speaker 01

What's balling out at a Walmart?

• 27:29H. Foley?

And do you take the family? Will you take like, will some of the kids be there? Get whatever you want?

• 27:33Speaker 03

Uh, a couple of times, but mostly I'll just run in there and I'll get a bunch of pants.

• 27:38Speaker 01

  How many pants?

• 27:39Speaker 03

Man, I'll buy like a ridiculous amount of pants.

• 27:42H. Foley?

  What's a ridiculous amount?

• 27:43Speaker 03

I'll buy like 20 pairs of pants.

• 27:44Speaker 01

All the same pair? You find a pair you like and then-

• 27:46Speaker 03

I'll find like a pair and I'll buy like four of those and then like four of these. One time I bought like just a whole bunch of pants and it's like a bunch-

• 27:53Speaker 01

You made the news for being the weirdest guy.

• 27:55Speaker 03

And I bought a bunch of waters. There's a lot of us. I bought like a bunch of cases of waters. And everybody's looking at me like, "This guy must pee his pants a lot."

• 28:04H. Foley?

And the adult diapers are in the back. Damn. And what's the holidays looking like down there? You guys do Thanksgiving at the house?

• 28:12Speaker 03

  Hell yeah. I love Thanksgiving.

• 28:14H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 28:14Speaker 03

Being Mexican, every now and then there's one family member that will be like, "Maybe I can make fajita and enchiladas." And I'm like, "Shut up." We are Mexican. Those are foods that we just, those are just regular foods for us.

• 28:29Speaker 01

We have those every day of the year, every other day.

• 28:31H. Foley?

I would be about that though. Like the Italians, they'll throw, they'll throw a little pasta course in a Thanksgiving dinner.

• 28:36Speaker 03

I mean, they could throw it in, but you're not gonna completely like-

• 28:39H. Foley?

No, of course. You gotta have the fucking turkey.

• 28:42Speaker 03

Yeah, so every now and then there's one family member that I'm like, "You're not in charge of Thanksgiving." "You shut your pie hole."

• 28:48H. Foley?

They got the turkey like the Mexican street corn. It's got the layers on it on top?

• 28:52Speaker 03

Yeah, we just rub some mayo with a brush.

• 28:55H. Foley?

  That'd probably be pretty good.

• 28:57Speaker 03

But we're gonna fry one and then-

• 28:58H. Foley?

  There you go.

• 28:59Speaker 03

So we made a deal. The women will, uh-

• 29:03Speaker 01

Keep it old school down there. I like that.

• 29:06Speaker 03

  The women-

• 29:07Speaker 01

The women shut their fucking mouths.

• 29:09Speaker 03

The women will cover their ankles. Out of respect. Now, the women are gonna bake one and the men will fry one.

• 29:16H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 29:16Speaker 03

  Outside. We got this-

• 29:17Speaker 01

It's a very alpha thing, the frying of the-

• 29:20Speaker 03

  You think so?

• 29:20Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 29:21H. Foley?

  Yeah, it's great.

• 29:22Speaker 01

Every dude that ever's done it, he'd do it.

• 29:24H. Foley?

  We've always done it.

• 29:25Speaker 03

I just thought it was a very cholesterol-y type thing.

• 29:27H. Foley?

Yeah, it's fun. Set it away from the house. You crack a couple of beers, takes a while. Don't put it in there frozen. Make sure it's thawed out.

• 29:34Speaker 03

I've, I've had some bad experiences trying to fry food. I learned how to fry food. One time I tried to fry chicken and I, I didn't know that, uh-

• 29:42H. Foley?

  It was alive?

• 29:45H. Foley?

  Goddamn thing thrashing around.

• 29:49H. Foley?

Tell you gotta cut its throat first, goddamn it.

• 29:52Speaker 03

I thought it was like, like, you know, crabs, you gotta throw them in alive. Nah, nah, nah, I didn't, I didn't know that, uh, cooking oil doesn't like bubble up when it's at boiling temperature? So I, I'm like waiting for it to get to boiling temperature and finally I'm like, I see it bubbling. And then I threw in the chicken, but it was like way too hot, it was like, the whole house almost burned down.

• 30:13H. Foley?

  God damn.

• 30:14Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 30:15H. Foley?

  Man.

• 30:15Speaker 03

But I got it done after that.

• 30:17H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 30:19Speaker 01

He said that with a point of pride.

• 30:20Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 30:21Speaker 01

After I almost burnt the fucking neighborhood down, I came back.

• 30:24Speaker 03

Hell yeah. I made my own little, like, batter. I don't remember what all I put, just seasonings that I thought smelled good. Put like some Cajun seasoning. I, I mixed up some, uh, egg, some egg yolk with like Frank's hot sauce.

• 30:37H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 30:37Speaker 01

  That sounds pretty good.

• 30:38H. Foley?

  Did like an egg wash?

• 30:39Speaker 03

Man, that thing was smacking. As the kids say these days, so smacked.

• 30:44H. Foley?

So, big Thanksgiving at the Barbosa's. About how many people will be over there?

• 30:48Speaker 03

  Man, I don't know.

• 30:49H. Foley?

  Twenty, thirty?

• 30:50Speaker 03

I, I never know. Sometimes we're like, yeah, just these people, and then it ends up being more. Sometimes we invite everybody and nobody shows up. Ever, that ever happen to you?

• 30:59Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 31:00Speaker 03

When you're like just the immediate who lives in this house and then like more people show up?

• 31:04Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 31:04Speaker 03

But then the year you invite everybody, you're like, fucking, we're never bring, we're never inviting them again.

• 31:09Speaker 01

And you start doing math, like, oh, I told everybody to come at seven and, you know, probably traffic.

• 31:13H. Foley?

  It's nine thirty.

• 31:14Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh.

• 31:16H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 31:16Speaker 01

Huh, and then what's, what's Christmas looking like? How many people do you have to buy presents for come Christmas?

• 31:24H. Foley?

  Are there expectations?

• 31:26Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 31:26Speaker 01

Now you got a little bit of cash or people going like, hey?

• 31:28Speaker 03

I hope there's no expect, I let everybody know that they're all, I don't know if I can, you can cuss on here, right?

• 31:34Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 31:35Speaker 03

I let everybody know that they're all pieces of shit.

• 31:39Speaker 01

That's good. Your boy's laughing outside.

• 31:42Speaker 03

He's the biggest piece of shit. And, but I'll, I'll buy them gifts. Now I look like Scrooge, you know, like.

• 31:47Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 31:49H. Foley?

  Bunch of your old pants.

• 31:50Speaker 03

But like that, every, as long as I keep reminding them that they're all pieces of shit to me, no matter what I get them, it's all like exceeded expectations.

• 31:57Speaker 01

  Sure, yeah.

• 31:59H. Foley?

Has anybody come to you over the last year looking for a little, little handout, a little loan?

• 32:03Speaker 03

  Buddy.

• 32:04Speaker 01

  I could, I could imagine.

• 32:06Speaker 03

Buddy. As you say out here in New York, forget about it.

• 32:15H. Foley?

But then you got somebody like your uncle that doesn't want it.

• 32:18Speaker 03

Yeah, my uncle's golden. That guy only, that guy only pays you back in favors. I love it.

• 32:23Speaker 01

  That's great.

• 32:24Speaker 03

Pass for favors and pays you back in favors.

• 32:25H. Foley?

And, I mean, thinking forward, you know, I was teasing you about wasting the money. You're on your dad's land, you're building a second property, you got the shop now. I mean, these are all investments.

• 32:37Speaker 03

  Yeah, so to speak.

• 32:38H. Foley?

Minus the pants, bottles of water.

• 32:40Speaker 01

I don't know, I'm pretty sure a business manager would have a couple, a couple of issues with some of the, with that poster alone. Yeah.

• 32:47Speaker 03

I, I asked like other comedians, like, what, like, do they have business managers and stuff like that? And they, they recommended this one dude. And, uh, he's been cool, but I also think he gets mad a lot and he kinda just gave up on me. Cause he's like, will tell me, like, don't do this, do this instead or do that. And I'm like, nah.

• 33:04Speaker 01

  Nah dude, I'm doing this.

• 33:05Speaker 03

You know, I'm like, this car, I can't pass up this deal.

• 33:09H. Foley?

So you have access to all the fun, so you could just do whatever you want?

• 33:12Speaker 03

Yeah. I, I've always told people, like, I won't, this money won't last. But I never did it for the money anyway.

• 33:20Speaker 01

Amen, baby. That's what I keep telling myself. That's what I like. There you go.

• 33:24Speaker 03

They, they fucked up giving me money, man.

• 33:26Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 33:28H. Foley?

  Jesus.

• 33:28Speaker 01

What's the further, is there, obviously not into details of any kind, but like, has there been someone that came out asking for a loan of some kind? And you'd be like, dude, I haven't talked to you in fifteen, like. Like, I, I get family members and, you know, friends and stuff like that. That, that all makes sense and, you know, you take care of your own and everything. But has there been someone that's like so far out of left, be like, dude, I haven't talked to you since elementary school?

• 33:50Speaker 03

Bro, there's dudes that I haven't had a class with since middle school. And I'm like, bro, I've only just liked your Facebook posts over the last fifteen years, you know?

• 33:59Speaker 01

  They think they're in.

• 34:00Speaker 03

And then one day it just sent me a message and I didn't open it. I didn't know, like this happened from a few different people. Where I don't, I don't open it.

• 34:08Speaker 01

Yeah, get to a point where you can't open them.

• 34:10Speaker 03

I don't, I don't have my notifications on. So I can't see what the message is like at all.

• 34:14Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 34:15Speaker 03

I can only every now and then when I check my messages on Instagram or Facebook. I'll see that there is a message, so I can only see the first few words.

• 34:22H. Foley?

  That's enough.

• 34:22Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 34:23Speaker 01

  Sometimes, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 34:24Speaker 03

It's just like, so I saw one and it was just like, hey, man, what's? And then I'm like, alright. And then, I didn't say nothing back. I was like, maybe I'll open it tomorrow or something, right? And like an hour later, I saw it again and it, and it said, it just has to be paid by.

• 34:42H. Foley?

  No, it does not.

• 34:44Speaker 03

  I was like, alright, alright.

• 34:47H. Foley?

You know, you, you know, you do. You start playing everybody for everybody horse. You gotta beat me in a horse.

• 34:54Speaker 03

How bad do you want this loan?

• 34:56H. Foley?

  Own the whole town.

• 34:58Speaker 01

Bring that gas bill over, we're, we're shooting for it.

• 35:02H. Foley?

Bring the gas bill in your, in the deed to your car. Ah, man, that's funny.

• 35:06Speaker 01

That's fucking really good. One of the, one of the big things we do, what was the name of? The high school you went to? We find out if you were on the notable alum on your Wikipedia page.

• 35:15H. Foley?

  If you are now.

• 35:16Speaker 01

  If you are now.

• 35:17Speaker 03

What? Notable alum? What is that?

• 35:19H. Foley?

  Alumni.

• 35:20Speaker 01

The alumni, so like the famous people that went to the high school, you make the Wikipedia page.

• 35:24Speaker 03

I went to a school called North Mesquite High School.

• 35:27Speaker 01

North Mesquite High School. Yeah, I think we actually had people hit us up, like, holy shit, I, I go, or I went there, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 35:33Speaker 03

  So it's a garbage town.

• 35:35Speaker 01

For sure. I didn't think anything else.

• 35:37Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 35:38H. Foley?

  North Mesquite, anything?

• 35:39Speaker 01

  It's named after a sauce.

• 35:41Speaker 03

Here's the thing, here's what's, was what I kinda hated about my little town, but then I grew to be like, alright, whatever.

• 35:47Speaker 01

Don't you, I, yeah, I appreciated the, as I've gotten older.

• 35:50Speaker 03

Yeah, cuz like I would, um, I have ties, I have relatives and, and a couple of times I stayed in the Dallas city limits, cuz I'm, you know, originally from Dallas, Texas, in Oak Cliff. But Oak Cliff. You know, it's a neighborhood, like, it's pretty rough. So a lot of my relatives over there would be like, "Oh, you live in Mesquite, like, you have it good, you have it set, right?" But to people of your background.

• 36:17Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 36:17Speaker 03

When they hear you're from Mesquite, they're like, "Ugh."

• 36:19Speaker 01

Yeah, "Ugh," yeah. But you were, to your family, you were like...

• 36:23Speaker 03

Yeah, so there was like no winning, because they didn't, my family didn't respect me, because they're like, "You're from a nice neighborhood." But people from nice neighborhoods were like, "Nah, bro, you're from like..."

• 36:31Speaker 01

  Can't come over, yeah.

• 36:31Speaker 03

Like a step above a trailer park. So yeah, it's very hard growing up there.

• 36:36Speaker 01

Okay, what do we have for notable alum? He's gotta be.

• 36:40Speaker 05

  He is not.

• 36:41Speaker 01

  What?

• 36:41Speaker 05

And they have his high school wrong on Wikipedia, they have just Mesquite High School, but you're North Mesquite, and there is nothing on both.

• 36:49Speaker 01

  Bastard.

• 36:50Speaker 03

I think we were like rivals with them. Also, I was like, I don't even think a lot of the people that worked there knew I was a person there.

• 36:58H. Foley?

Doesn't matter, they should now. North Mesquite, get your shit together, kid's got ten cars.

• 37:02Speaker 03

I'm gonna, I'm gonna pull up.

• 37:03Speaker 01

  For the work.

• 37:04Speaker 03

I'm gonna pull up in a car to the front parking lot and just start revving my motors.

• 37:07Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 37:08H. Foley?

  Know me now, motherfuckers.

• 37:09Speaker 05

Start throwing doughnuts in the parking lot.

• 37:10Speaker 03

They got Mick Jagger's ex-wife, they need Ralph Barbosa.

• 37:13Speaker 01

  Yeah, come on.

• 37:14H. Foley?

Mick Jagger's ex-wife went down there?

• 37:15Speaker 03

Yeah. Oh yeah, I remember her. Jerry Hall.

• 37:19H. Foley?

  Hell, Jerry Hall went there.

• 37:20Speaker 01

  That's the one-legged broad, I think.

• 37:22H. Foley?

No, no, that's, uh, you think, Paul McCartney.

• 37:26Speaker 03

Paul McCartney dated a one-legged chick?

• 37:27H. Foley?

  Or the McCartney, yeah.

• 37:28Speaker 01

  Long time.

• 37:29Speaker 03

  Hell yeah.

• 37:30H. Foley?

Jerry Hall, this is a deep cut, was a model and an actress back in the day, and she was in the original Batman with Michael Keaton.

• 37:38Speaker 03

Wait, wait, she was, she was, uh, the girl?

• 37:40H. Foley?

No, not the main girl, remember the girl that he was, he was banging the boss's girlfriend?

• 37:45Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 37:46H. Foley?

And then he fucked up her face?

• 37:47Speaker 03

  She dated Jack Nicholson.

• 37:48H. Foley?

  That's Jerry Hall.

• 37:49Speaker 03

  Jerry Hall, Jack Nicholson.

• 37:51H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 37:51Speaker 03

  Hell yeah.

• 37:52H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 37:52Speaker 03

  Power couple.

• 37:54H. Foley?

That's a long stretch, you go from her to, you know, nothing against, say you go from her to Ralph, get Ralph on the goddamn board.

• 37:59Speaker 01

  Kid sell fucking tickets.

• 38:01Speaker 03

Nah, come on, she was on the first Batman, that's pretty sick.

• 38:04Speaker 01

  That's sure.

• 38:06Speaker 03

  That's nice.

• 38:07Speaker 01

  Uh, yeah, sorry.

• 38:08Speaker 03

Oh, and I was gonna say, I just saw an Instagram post the other day, Michael Keaton was wearing Jordans in that Batman suit.

• 38:13H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 38:13Speaker 03

Michael Keaton is also the only guy, I guess, before like the Dark Knight trilogies, and back in, you know, 90s, 80s technology. Michael Keaton is the only person to play Batman in two movies before Christian Bale. But back then, they said it was just like horrible torture to wear the bat suit. Michael Keaton was the only one that was like, I'm the hero, fuck it, I'll do it. They deserve.

• 38:38Speaker 01

  Respect that.

• 38:38H. Foley?

Dude, I just saw it again, maybe like a month ago, it fucking holds the fuck up.

• 38:44Speaker 03

Bro, it does. Tim Burton. I gotta pay, I gotta, you know, thank you, Tim Burton.

• 38:50Speaker 01

  Shout out to B.

• 38:51Speaker 03

He did that one, then he did the other one with Penguin, with Danny DeVito.

• 38:54H. Foley?

  Of course.

• 38:55Speaker 03

Bro, only, I don't know, anybody who's booked Danny DeVito on anything is genius.

• 39:00Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 39:01H. Foley?

I was thinking about that too the other day, you know, people have different opinions on actors. Have you ever heard anybody say a bad thing?

• 39:08Speaker 01

  They love him.

• 39:08H. Foley?

Or anybody say, I don't really like Danny DeVito?

• 39:11Speaker 03

  Nobody.

• 39:11H. Foley?

  Not one person?

• 39:12Speaker 01

He's in those Jersey Mike commercials, killing him.

• 39:14H. Foley?

  Kills him.

• 39:14Speaker 03

Danny DeVito was one of the main characters and the narrator for Matilda.

• 39:20H. Foley?

  Mm-hmm.

• 39:21Speaker 03

Nobody has ever had an issue with that.

• 39:23H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 39:24Speaker 03

  It's a little off that he's like,

• 39:25H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 39:26Speaker 03

He's like torturing Matilda, you know, just giving her the worst childhood. But also, he's like, let me tell you about a special little girl.

• 39:33H. Foley?

  It all started one day.

• 39:37H. Foley?

  Ah, that's good.

• 39:38Speaker 01

Ah, okay. Um, also too, I wanted to mention, you were, we were DMing a couple of weeks ago, a month, a few months ago, you were partying with-

• 39:46Speaker 03

How many drugs do you do? Couple of weeks ago, a few months.

• 39:49H. Foley?

• 39:50Speaker 03

  We talked one-

• 39:50H. Foley?

  That was this morning!

• 39:52Speaker 01

It's mostly alcohol, for being honest. I got a bit of a problem. No, you were fucking living the rock star lifestyle with Mexican OT.

• 40:01Speaker 03

  Yeah, man.

• 40:02Speaker 01

On state, dude, he's crowd surfing at fucking festivals.

• 40:05Speaker 03

Yeah, it was fun. I, so, I went to my first concert ever.

• 40:09Speaker 01

We were talking about that. I, we, I just went back and listened to the first episode. You had just, you had been to a concert that month or something.

• 40:15Speaker 03

  Did I?

• 40:16Speaker 01

Yeah, it was very early on. Sorry, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was, it was a concert you went to not that long ago from the last time you were here.

• 40:22Speaker 03

Yeah, I went to this concert and I got to like hang out backstage and I got to watch the concert.

• 41:13Speaker 03

Shirt from like the side of the stage.

• 41:15Speaker 01

  Very cool.

• 41:15Speaker 03

It's cool, it is, don't get me wrong. But I'm looking at the crowd and I'm like, they're fucking having fun.

• 41:20Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 41:21Speaker 03

So, it, but it wasn't like a crazy, like, where they start a mosh pit or anything like that. So then, when I went to OT's, uh, you know, it's, it's at Austin City Limits and it's just this ginormous crowd. And he's, he's like, y'all, split up. He's like, he's like, open up, open up some space. And he's, he's about to make them start moshing.

• 41:42Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 41:42Speaker 03

And I, I'm already watching from like way behind him. I'm like, bro, this is badass. And, and then he goes, uh, they said, they're asking if you're gonna get in there, Ralph. He's like, you gonna get in there, Ralph? And he, I was like, already.

• 41:54Speaker 01

  Fuck that.

• 41:55Speaker 03

I was already wanting to get in there and I had this sweet Bucky's shirt that I had just bought.

• 41:59Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 41:59Speaker 03

Cause it was like around election time. So it said, it had the Bucky's beaver, like with the 20, it said 2024 with the American flag.

• 42:05Speaker 01

  That's awesome.

• 42:06Speaker 03

Sure. And so everybody was complimenting it that day. And so I, I, I went up to the front of the stage and I took off the shirt and everybody was like, wah! And then I threw the shirt into the crowd. A little bit of me was like, fuck, man.

• 42:18Speaker 01

I gotta wait another four years to get one.

• 42:22Speaker 03

  That show was badass.

• 42:23H. Foley?

• 44:57Speaker 03

But the crowd went crazy. And so I, I went up, uh, to work, there's like these steps on that metal little gate thing that holds the crowd back. So I went up on those steps and I just went like that. And then I, and they, I started crowd surfing. Um, and they almost dropped me a few times. And I had this, I had this, uh, chain on, which I don't even wear jewelry like that, but I had been in Houston like the week before, like a few days before that.

• 45:23H. Foley?

  That's a Houston passport.

• 45:24Speaker 03

Yeah, this jeweler came and, and he, he hooked it up with a chain, gave me a good price. And I was like, man, I have to get it. Like, I just have to. I was wearing the chain, but I, when I, as soon as I was crowd surfing, I was just holding on to it the whole time. I was like, I don't trust you degenerates.

• 45:38H. Foley?

Clutching your pearls as you're crowd surfing with the common folk?

• 45:42Speaker 03

And then I had my left hand in my pocket because I don't want my phone to fall out. And, uh, there was a couple of times where like they dropped me, but then they'd catch me. And, uh, one of the ones, they dropped me in my head, almost hit the ground, and they caught me and then they just launched me.

• 45:57H. Foley?

  They overcompensated.

• 45:58Speaker 03

Yeah, just like torpedoed out, like, like a whale coming out of the water or something, you know, just dolphin style. And, uh, and then I ended up, I, I landed on my feet. And then like, everybody's looking around and that's when like the music, like the beats drop and so we're like, wah, wah, wah. So we're just like, just dancing and hopping and stuff. And, uh, Hyman and, and OT's security guard came to like, alright, that's enough. Like, get him out, you know? And so they got me back out there, but yeah, it was nuts.

• 46:26H. Foley?

How did you link up with him? How'd you become buddies with him?

• 46:28Speaker 03

Um, his la- not his last album, but a couple albums ago, he did this album called The Lone Star Luchador. And uh, I did like uh, audio skits for it.

• 46:39Speaker 01

  Ah, okay, nice.

• 46:41Speaker 03

And I, and I wrote this skit where uh, me and him were the commentators at a, at a, at a wrestling match. And I just like created these stupid characters like the invisible masturbator and, and stuff like that and, and uh.

• 46:55Speaker 01

That's a good bit dude, I don't care where you are, where you from, that's a good bit.

• 46:58Speaker 03

Yeah, uh, I, I forgot what, what the name of the other ones were, but uh, but it was fun and, and I got to meet up with him and like record and. He's, he's been, I don't know, he's been cool people ever since. So, when I was, I had uh, a couple of shows in Austin. And he was gonna be there at the same time, and he's like, man, stay an extra day and come to uh, Austin City Limits with me.

• 47:18H. Foley?

  There you go.

• 47:18Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 47:19H. Foley?

Alright, how's that backstage with him?

• 47:21Speaker 03

That was dope. That was sick. Cause with OT's backstage, you can be backstage and you can go just party with the crowd.

• 47:27H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 47:28Speaker 01

How's the difference, has your backstage at your shows changed at all over the last year? Do you have, what's, what's in the rider or you?

• 47:36H. Foley?

Yeah, you put anything in there specifically?

• 47:37Speaker 03

I didn't, I didn't know that there was a rider for a long time. And my agent was like-

• 47:40H. Foley?

Bringing his own lunch? What the fuck?

• 47:43Speaker 03

I was just packing a sandwich.

• 47:44H. Foley?

Chicken fingers are free? Pieces of shit.

• 47:47Speaker 03

Now, I didn't know there was a rider at first and we started hitting theaters, you know, in January. And my, my agent was like, bro, these theaters will provide whatever you need.

• 47:56Speaker 01

Well, it comes for the, for the listener, it's like the clubs, if you're at a club, you just order, they just give you free food and drinks and whatever you want off the club menu. Cause they're making it there, but the theaters don't have a kitchen and a lot of times the bar is like a separate thing, so they go, they go shopping for you, for whatever you want.

• 48:12Speaker 03

So, I was like, alright, well just, I don't know, I was like, put like soda, hot cheetos. And um, you know, my agent would always check up, he's like, is there anything else you want? I mean, like anything, like is the temperature in the rooms okay? And I'm like, bro, we can tell them what temperature to put the green room? And he's like, yeah. So I was like, alright, alright. Uh, from now on, every green room that I go into, write it in there that I want it to be at sixty-nine degrees. And like, I forgot about it though. And they'll, they'll do it in most places, and if they don't, I don't even care. But I forgot about it, and then like, a couple months ago, I did a college gig in New Mexico. And it was, and the building was pretty old, so the green room was like way down in the basement. And it's like this dressing room type thing.

• 48:57Speaker 03

And they had all these like, uh, those like electric fans, and then like, they had one of the, the ones that, um, with the big old tube, like-

• 49:06H. Foley?

  Like an indoor-

• 49:07Speaker 03

Like an indoor thing, and then they had like, these little fans, and then they had like a thermometer in there. And they're like, oh, man, you know, this is like an old building, it doesn't have AC, but don't worry, Mr. Barbosa, we're trying our best to get it to sixty-nine degrees. And I was like, oh shit, I forgot all about that, I was like, you don't gotta do that, man.

• 49:24H. Foley?

Yeah, that's right, yeah, go ahead.

• 49:27H. Foley?

These flaming hot cheetos aren't that spicy either. Wait, flaming hot cheetos, what's the soda that you want in there? You drink regular soda, you drink diet soda?

• 49:35Speaker 03

Nah, I drink diet soda, I, so I'll have like, both, I'll have like Dr. Peppers and Diet Dr. Peppers.

• 49:43H. Foley?

Man, it's like a Forrest Gump. Man, as a comedian, I love it.

• 49:48Speaker 03

I tell people all the time, I'm just Forrest Gumping it, like-

• 49:52Speaker 03

  Like, I just like running.

• 49:55H. Foley?

This kid just drank nine Dr. Peppers, what the hell?

• 49:58Speaker 01

He's about to hit a mosh pit.

• 49:59Speaker 03

So, um, I'll tell them, put like, whatever chips, but I was like, hot cheetos, hot fries, cause sometimes I like to get like a hot cheetos and hot fries on the same plate, and then, there's like lemons and limes on my rider, so I squeeze lemon-

• 50:12H. Foley?

Hot fries, like the ch- the chip, the-

• 50:14Speaker 01

Like the, and the cat, the, hot fries.

• 50:16Speaker 03

Hot fries, the, the, the, from the people, from the company that brought you hot cheetos.

• 50:24H. Foley?

  The sticks, they're little sticks.

• 50:25Speaker 03

  They're red, but there's-

• 50:26Speaker 01

  Yeah, hot fries.

• 50:27Speaker 03

But there's also the other brand of hot fries. Okay, so not, not those, but sometimes they'll bring those, and I love those too.

• 50:33Speaker 01

Wait, so you're eating not Andy Cap's hot, you're eating other hot fries?

• 50:37H. Foley?

  Off-brand hot fries?

• 50:38Speaker 03

The, the hot cheeto ones, the hot cheeto, Chester's hot fries, that's the cheetos name.

• 50:42H. Foley?

I didn't even know that was a thing.

• 50:44Speaker 03

Yeah, Che- they, he also makes hot fries, Chester.

• 50:46H. Foley?

I gotta get back out there.

• 50:48Speaker 03

  Yeah, oh, it's a-

• 50:48H. Foley?

  Oh, okay.

• 50:49Speaker 03

It's a whole new world, my friend.

• 50:54Speaker 03

But I'll take either hot fry, like.

• 50:55Speaker 01

Damn dude, so you'll do the flaming hot hot fries? And then the thing we skipped over is you'll put lemon and lime on them?

• 51:02Speaker 03

Yeah, I mean, I'm no prince, but I like to.

• 51:05H. Foley?

The only other person that I've heard do that is Saddam Hussein. I swear to God. They said Saddam Hussein.

• 51:11Speaker 01

See if you can get that fact checked out. Don't link him as one of the worst men of all.

• 51:16H. Foley?

He liked Doritos and he used to sprinkle a little like water or lemon juice on it.

• 51:21Speaker 03

Yeah, no, I mean, I gotta give him that.

• 51:25Speaker 03

At least he did that, you know? If I had been born somewhere else, I might have become the next Saddam Hussein.

• 51:31H. Foley?

And you put lemon or lime on it.

• 51:32Speaker 01

  There's still time.

• 51:33H. Foley?

I bet you that's pretty good.

• 51:34Speaker 03

No, it's pretty good. I don't, honestly, I got tired of it pretty early on the tour.

• 51:38Speaker 01

Well, that's the thing. It's the same in every place you go. So you're like, ours is our manager put on gummy bears. Cause I've mentioned that like gummy bears and I'm like, I can't, I don't need more gummy bears.

• 51:49Speaker 03

Yeah, I'm done. My dentist hates me.

• 51:51Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 51:51H. Foley?

And in that vein, I never, for some reason, I've been eating Mexican food my whole life. I've never come across them until maybe like in the last couple of years. His chilaquiles, am I saying that right?

• 52:00Speaker 03

  Yeah, those are good too.

• 52:01H. Foley?

  The soggy tortilla.

• 52:02Speaker 01

It's like the breakfast, they'll have like the eggs or whatever.

• 52:05H. Foley?

And that's the same thing as putting like the lemon or whatever, soften them up a little bit.

• 52:09Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 52:09H. Foley?

God damn, those are fucking good.

• 52:11Speaker 03

What's tough to find in New York is hash browns.

• 52:14H. Foley?

  Really?

• 52:15Speaker 03

  I don't, I mean, every time I go to a diner.

• 52:17H. Foley?

You should have called me. What are you, nuts?

• 52:19Speaker 03

They just have like home fries everywhere I go.

• 52:21H. Foley?

  A lot of that.

• 52:21Speaker 01

Yeah, so it's mostly home fries.

• 52:23Speaker 03

Yeah, what's crazy though is that I'll go to these diners and they don't have hash browns on the menu. But sometimes they'll have chilaquiles or sometimes they'll have huevos rancheros. And I'm like, you guys went like too south.

• 52:33Speaker 01

Yeah, he skipped it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 52:35Speaker 03

Like, I'm glad you have that. I love that too. I was like, but at least put some hash browns on it.

• 52:39H. Foley?

  Sure, yeah, sure.

• 52:40Speaker 01

  You're not wrong with that.

• 52:41H. Foley?

Now I'm with you a hundred percent.

• 52:42Speaker 01

Luke, do you have anything on that?

• 52:44Speaker 05

He could eat a bag of Doritos in 10 minutes. I'm not seeing the addition of lemon or lime juice.

• 52:48H. Foley?

I'm telling you, he used to soften them up a little bit.

• 52:50Speaker 03

Saddam Hussein could eat a bag of Dorito in 10 minutes?

• 52:52Speaker 01

I can do it in five. That's crazy.

• 52:54Speaker 03

His favorite chip was a Cheeto though.

• 52:56H. Foley?

  No kidding?

• 52:56Speaker 03

I wonder who's timing them? He's just like, we'll get to that other evil shit later. He's like, real quick, record this.

• 53:02Speaker 05

It's his prison guard's tell all.

• 53:05H. Foley?

See, there you go. I guarantee you that's in there about the sprinkle in the water. He liked to soften them up a little bit.

• 53:11Speaker 03

  Good for him.

• 53:12H. Foley?

  That's funny. Have the.

• 53:15H. Foley?

Has the palate gone up a little bit with the, you know, the dinners?

• 53:19Speaker 01

He's saying he puts the lime on the cheese.

• 53:21H. Foley?

I'm aware of that. I'm aware.

• 53:23Speaker 01

He's gonna treat him like an insult.

• 53:24H. Foley?

What about like a nice dinner or anything like that?

• 53:27Speaker 03

Um, what's cool is that like, I don't, I don't know. This, this didn't used to happen. Um, you know, before I, I was Netflix's Ralph Barbosa. Before I was HBO's Entertainments The Winners Three Ralph Barbosa.

• 53:46Speaker 01

Damn, that's you? I didn't, I thought that was another Barbosa.

• 53:50Speaker 03

Um, if I would be dating a girl, I would rarely ever get food cooked for me. Now I can like, be like, can you make this? Like this idea I have and like, somebody will make it.

• 54:03H. Foley?

Wait, you'll be at the girl's house and you'll use it as a test kitchen?

• 54:07Speaker 01

What's the idea? Throw an idea at me.

• 54:09Speaker 03

Um, dice up a bunch of spam and put it with like diced up like tomatoes and onions. Maybe a little bit of like jalapeno, like a serrano pepper. And then like, um, put it in a taco.

• 54:23Speaker 01

Uh huh. Wait, you need someone else to do that?

• 54:27Speaker 03

  I'm not gonna do it.

• 54:28Speaker 01

  I'm not gonna, sure.

• 54:29Speaker 03

I'm, I'm HBO's Entertainments The Winners Three Ralph Barbosa, baby, I'm not gonna do that.

• 54:35H. Foley?

  I meant like yesterday.

• 54:38Speaker 03

I've had so few steaks, yeah.

• 54:42H. Foley?

Do you do any seafood? Will you do oysters or anything like that?

• 54:45Speaker 03

Uh, I got, I got sick from eating way too many oysters. That's when the money was really getting to me. Cause I was, I was sitting there with mountains of oysters.

• 54:55Speaker 01

That's literally what Forrest Gump would do.

• 54:57Speaker 03

They were like, the ocean floors are empty, sir, please. And I was like, bring more. I love boils, man. That, that's another like baller move that I've been doing.

• 55:07H. Foley?

  At the house?

• 55:08Speaker 03

Is, uh, no, like I'll go to a restaurant. I go to like one of, like, I love Ashok's back in Dallas.

• 55:13H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 55:14Speaker 03

Ashok's oyster bar, but they, they have like some of the best crab boils. Also Fish and Tales does too. And I'll go to those places and I'll be like, they'll, they'll have like the combo platter where it's like a pound of shrimp, a pound of crab legs. Mixed with the sausage and potatoes.

• 55:27H. Foley?

  Uh huh.

• 55:28Speaker 03

And I'll be like, give me two of those. And they're like, what? Two?

• 55:31Speaker 01

  Double it up.

• 55:31Speaker 03

And then I'll finish those and I'll be like, bring another two. I have a friend coming.

• 55:38Speaker 03

A bunch of crawfish, I love crawfish. You like crawfish?

• 55:41H. Foley?

I do. I don't love them, but, but, but, but I'm into them. I'm into all that stuff.

• 55:46Speaker 03

  Nice.

• 55:46H. Foley?

  All the shellfish, yeah.

• 55:47Speaker 03

  Hell yeah.

• 55:48H. Foley?

But crawfish would be on the lower end. I never really just had a... Never really spent a lot of time with them.

• 55:54Speaker 03

I'll tell you what, next time you're in Dallas, you guys gotta let me know. I'll take you to Oshuck's. We'll get, we'll get a boil and we'll order some crawfish as well, because what I like to do, their seasoning is really good.

• 56:03H. Foley?

  Mm-hmm.

• 56:04Speaker 03

It's not overboard. It's good enough. And also, it's good with the crawfish, is that the little juice that accumulates at the bottom...

• 56:12Speaker 03

  Excuse me, sorry.

• 56:13H. Foley?

  Mm-hmm.

• 56:14Speaker 03

You'll, you'll not, you'll crack open like, I like to, at this point, I'm pretty fast at taking them out. I'll get about like, my, my buddy JoJo showed me. Shout out to JoJo. Shout out to Oak Cliff Barbers, where I used to work.

• 56:25H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 56:26Speaker 03

You'll take out about like eight or 10 of them.

• 56:28H. Foley?

  Uh-huh.

• 56:28Speaker 03

While you're just talking. You're just catching up with your boy, you know? And you're letting them soak in the juice. And we also have crab legs and shrimp, so we'll eat some of those too while you just let them soak.

• 56:37H. Foley?

  Marinate them a bit.

• 56:38Speaker 03

And then eat them. And man, mwah.

• 56:41H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 56:42Speaker 03

The John Shipper's Claw is sacré bleu.

• 56:46H. Foley?

Did you have a stroke? What happened there?

• 56:50H. Foley?

Ah, man. Any other traveling this year? Have you gone, have you gone to Europe or anything like that?

• 56:56Speaker 03

Nah, I was supposed to. No, no vacation. I do want to take a vacation and go visit family in Mexico. I haven't been back to Mexico since I was like 12. I used to go every summer.

• 57:05H. Foley?

Yeah, I remember you were telling us before, yeah.

• 57:07Speaker 03

And then we're right there by the coast, so, you know, I do want to go back, stay by the beach and stuff. But nah, the only traveling I've done has been work-related. It's hard to take a trip and not turn it into like, let me do shows.

• 57:19H. Foley?

  Let me do a show.

• 57:20Speaker 03

My, my dad and, and all the family, they, they, they wanted to go out to like Florida, and they went. But I was like, I'm not gonna go just to hang out, like.

• 57:29H. Foley?

  Mm-hmm.

• 57:31Speaker 03

I don't know, you know, like, and I know everybody's like, ah, you'll be fine. But the tickets, the ticket sales could drop.

• 57:38H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 57:38Speaker 03

  Next week.

• 57:39H. Foley?

Yeah. You want to keep your foot on the gas. I respect that.

• 57:41Speaker 03

Yeah, so I'll put some foot on the gas. Also, I got some cars I gotta pay off.

• 57:46Speaker 03

I actually lost a lot of horse games that I'm, that I'm still paying those off.

• 57:53Speaker 01

Are you by far the best horse player that you roll with? Or is there, there's a couple of people that are?

• 57:57Speaker 03

Nah, bro, in my circle. But also, if you look at my circle, you're like, yeah. He's the best at most sports.

• 58:04H. Foley?

We saw Hyam when he walked in.

• 58:05Speaker 03

Hyam is the next kindest dude, like, after me. The, everybody, yeah. I think, I, I think because at heart, I, um, I'm, I'm a big boy. I can't gain very much weight being like diabetic.

• 58:20Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 58:20Speaker 03

You know, I, I also have like a pretty fast metabolism, but yeah. You know, I'm type one, so my body doesn't produce insulin. And insulin is what makes you gain the weight, you know? But.

• 58:30H. Foley?

  Telling me.

• 58:30Speaker 03

  My doctor is very, uh.

• 58:32Speaker 01

  Yeah, you got all his.

• 58:33Speaker 03

My doctor is very upset with me.

• 58:35Speaker 01

  About what?

• 58:36Speaker 03

  It's my health.

• 58:37H. Foley?

He's eating seven crab boils. What are you talking about?

• 58:39Speaker 03

On the inside, I am dying.

• 58:43Speaker 01

  It's not great.

• 58:44H. Foley?

What's the squad when you're, when you're rolling around on tour? How many guys are with you?

• 58:48Speaker 03

Uh, it's usually about four of us. It's me, Hyam, and then it's the twins. They're not really twins, but they're around the same size, so.

• 58:57Speaker 01

  You really do.

• 58:58H. Foley?

  Anybody that is.

• 58:58Speaker 01

  This like cast of characters.

• 58:59H. Foley?

Does one of them open for you?

• 59:01Speaker 03

  Uh, they all do.

• 59:02H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 59:02Speaker 03

Even Hyam, Hyam was the only one that wasn't an opening, but even I was like, get out there.

• 59:06H. Foley?

  Now he's out there.

• 59:07Speaker 03

Get out there, you wacky kid.

• 59:08H. Foley?

For the folks that don't know, uh, he's the co-host on the, on the Fat Fish Podcast.

• 59:11Speaker 03

Yeah, Hyam is also now, um, a reoccurring co-host on, uh, Bobby Lee's Tiger Belly Podcast.

• 59:18Speaker 01

  Right, yes, I've seen that.

• 59:19H. Foley?

  That's awesome.

• 59:19Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 59:20Speaker 03

He's the goofy dude on there, you'll see, goofy looking dude at least.

• 59:22H. Foley?

  There you go.

• 59:23Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 59:23H. Foley?

Shout out to Bobby Lee and Tiger Belly.

• 59:25Speaker 01

And have the hotels that you're staying at, have they elevated at all? Or where do you still like, just like, I'll hit the fucking Courtyard Marriott or whatever?

• 59:32Speaker 03

I mean, nah, I definitely, I like staying at some of the nice ones. I've stayed, I usually stay at whatever's closest to the venue. But every now and then, one time we were in Chicago, and, uh, I got, I, I stayed at the Ritz Carlton.

• 59:45H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 59:46Speaker 03

And man, these nicer hotels, they'll do 24 hour room service.

• 59:49Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 59:50Speaker 03

So we'll like, go outside, smoke a joint, and then at 2 a.m. we'll, we'll, we'll try to like, write some jokes. But we'll just order like a steak and watch South Park at like 2 a.m. just high as hell, sick.

• 1:00:01H. Foley?

Dude, he's 28 and experienced in that? I'm in my late 40s, he's in his late 30s, and we're going through the same thing.

• 1:00:06Speaker 01

We're doing the same thing. If we, if we're like, go, going somewhere.

• 1:00:09H. Foley?

They brought my cheeseburger in on a cart.

• 1:00:11Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:00:11H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 1:00:12Speaker 01

And we always talk, we're like, do you let him in? Or do you take the card from him or whatever?

• 1:00:15Speaker 03

Bro, I still don't know what we're supposed to do with that guy.

• 1:00:17Speaker 01

I don't either. I tipped him too much because I feel weird. I'm not used to people.

• 1:00:21Speaker 03

Like the mafia, I'm like, thank you.

• 1:00:23H. Foley?

We were, we were somewhere and I got something to eat and they had a, it had a, a thing on it. I'm like, what's this? And it was like a little box and she's like, and she's like, when you're done, push that button and we'll come up and get it.

• 1:00:36Speaker 03

  Oh, man.

• 1:00:37H. Foley?

I put that thing out in the hallway. I thought they were watching me or something like that. I didn't trust it.

• 1:00:40Speaker 03

Bro, I would be just afraid of like getting charged for touching the button though.

• 1:00:44H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 1:00:45Speaker 03

I'm like, there's so many hidden fees and like, you're not supposed to do this.

• 1:00:48Speaker 01

I stopped, uh, we've, we've done it a handful of times. We usually use our, our, our points. We'll cash in our points to do it. And, uh, I'm always so awkward with the guy who's giving it to, I'm like, just stop right here. It's, he's like, you want me to come in? I'm like, no, no, no, no, no. I don't want you, I want nobody in here, dude.

• 1:01:06Speaker 03

This is the, the first time this ever happened to me was at a hotel here in New York. Usually when I come to New York, I stay at my buddy's apartment on his couch in Astoria.

• 1:01:14Speaker 01

That's not you, you're fucking HBO Trace, whatever. You can't be staying on a couch in Astoria.

• 1:01:21Speaker 03

Nah, I love that couch, man.

• 1:01:23H. Foley?

You're yelling for him for room service?

• 1:01:25Speaker 01

  Yo! Kissing him.

• 1:01:26H. Foley?

What's the way to do it? Take spam, won't you cut it? Rectangularly?

• 1:01:33Speaker 01

Do you, do you have wraps here? Or you're gonna need some tortillas?

• 1:01:35Speaker 03

But, uh, I stayed at, I stayed at this really nice hotel here and they woke me up because they came to clean the windows.

• 1:01:43Speaker 01

  What?

• 1:01:44Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:01:44Speaker 01

  What time?

• 1:01:45Speaker 03

They were like, don't you, it was like, oh, I mean, to be fair, it was already like noon.

• 1:01:48Speaker 01

And I was supposed to check out today.

• 1:01:51Speaker 03

But they're like, you don't want your windows cleaned? I'm like, nah, man, get out of here.

• 1:01:54Speaker 01

  Fuck out of here.

• 1:01:55H. Foley?

  Windows clean.

• 1:01:56Speaker 03

Get the fuck out of my room. Go, come back with a steak, with a box.

• 1:02:01Speaker 01

With a beeper. Do you, uh, what do you tip, uh, what do you leave for the staff?

• 1:02:06Speaker 03

  Uh, I don't know, man. I leave them, I, I feel like I leave a good amount.

• 1:02:11Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:02:11Speaker 03

Sometimes my family's like, that's too much, but I'm like, ah.

• 1:02:14Speaker 01

  Nah, it's never too much.

• 1:02:15Speaker 03

Yeah. If I was that guy, I would also wanna tip. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:02:18Speaker 01

  Of course.

• 1:02:19Speaker 03

The more I think that I would hate your job, the more I'll tip you.

• 1:02:22Speaker 01

Sure. It's a good way to look at it. It's a really good way to look at it.

• 1:02:26Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:02:26Speaker 01

  Huh.

• 1:02:27Speaker 03

  Man.

• 1:02:28Speaker 01

  I mean.

• 1:02:28H. Foley?

  The kid's still trash.

• 1:02:29Speaker 01

  Yeah, by through and through.

• 1:02:31Speaker 03

  Buddy's killing it.

• 1:02:34Speaker 01

We have a couple, uh, so when we have recurring guests, uh, we have questions from the Patreon. When they join the Patreon, they'll get their questions read on the air. Uh, this one's from Clapper. Will you kiss someone else's dog on the mouth?

• 1:02:45Speaker 03

Hell no. This is how trash I am. I don't respect most dogs.

• 1:02:49Speaker 01

  Really?

• 1:02:50Speaker 03

It depends on like, like, just how I see you. I mean, wild dog out in the open, I'm running away from that thing.

• 1:02:58Speaker 01

  Yeah, of course.

• 1:02:59Speaker 03

I live out in the country, man. I tried to go for a jog one time. I got chased by half the dogs out there.

• 1:03:04Speaker 01

Yeah, okay, that's a little different. You're not kissing one of them on the mouth.

• 1:03:07Speaker 03

But if I go to like your house and you got like a good dog, I'm cool with the dog. I'll pet it and stuff, especially if it's nice. But like if it sheds a lot, I'm like, get it away from me.

• 1:03:16Speaker 01

  Sure, I understand that.

• 1:03:17Speaker 03

And then if they lick me a lot, I don't wanna lick, kiss the dog, what the hell? I'll kiss your wife before I kiss your dog.

• 1:03:26Speaker 01

Well, sir, you can come over to my house tonight.

• 1:03:29Speaker 03

  I'm the dog, motherfucker.

• 1:03:34H. Foley?

Humping the guy's leg? He's humping the dog? How the fuck you like it?

• 1:03:38Speaker 03

I let the dog watch. Let him watch.

• 1:03:42Speaker 01

Watch me while you make out with both your owners.

• 1:03:47H. Foley?

That was good. Was that let him watch from Wolf of Wall Street?

• 1:03:51Speaker 03

Yeah, let him watch. Bring some chicks over, let him watch.

• 1:03:54H. Foley?

Wow, we got chicken or what?

• 1:03:56Speaker 01

You just hit liquid at the other guy.

• 1:03:58Speaker 03

That's all I've turned into since I've made money is just John Berthold's character on Wolf of Wall Street.

• 1:04:03Speaker 01

He's got a bag of perks with him.

• 1:04:05H. Foley?

  Dating some Scandinavian lady?

• 1:04:08Speaker 01

  With all due respect.

• 1:04:09Speaker 03

That would be sick. Honestly, that's why I wanna go to Europe is just find the toxic girlfriend.

• 1:04:14H. Foley?

  Over there?

• 1:04:14Speaker 03

Bring her back to the States.

• 1:04:15H. Foley?

Bring her home and wreck it all?

• 1:04:16Speaker 03

  Hell yeah.

• 1:04:17H. Foley?

  I respect it.

• 1:04:17Speaker 01

  I married one.

• 1:04:18H. Foley?

  I like that.

• 1:04:19Speaker 03

  Nice, you did for her?

• 1:04:20Speaker 01

Yeah, German girl, yeah. Hell yeah, bro. Come over, we can kiss her.

• 1:04:29Speaker 01

Let's see here, this one's just funny. This is from Jimmy Breadbow's, uh, home run of a name. Is it garbage to tell people you think you got roofied after getting too drunk the night before? I've done that where I've made an ass out of myself, be like, someone must have slipped me something.

• 1:04:43Speaker 03

Hell yeah, bro, you gotta cover your ass, you know?

• 1:04:45H. Foley?

You get fucked up when you, like, do you?

• 1:04:48Speaker 03

Man, I'll go like months sober.

• 1:04:50H. Foley?

  Uh huh.

• 1:04:51Speaker 03

And then I'll go a few months just partying way too much.

• 1:04:53H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 1:04:54Speaker 03

I get pretty, I get pretty lit.

• 1:04:55H. Foley?

What are you getting drunk on?

• 1:04:57Speaker 03

  Uh, mostly beer.

• 1:04:58H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 1:04:59Speaker 03

  Yeah, I love a Modelo.

• 1:05:00H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 1:05:01Speaker 03

I know what you guys are gonna say about this, but I love some Budweiser.

• 1:05:04Speaker 01

  Oh, I'm a big, I love it. It's my go-to beer.

• 1:05:06H. Foley?

  I'm a butt-heavy.

• 1:05:06Speaker 01

Butt in a, butt in a bottle is fucking, a butt, cold butt in a bottle, nothing's better.

• 1:05:11H. Foley?

What about, um, have you, have you, have you got into any specialty cocktails? Like, do you like an espresso martini, or like, um?

• 1:05:18Speaker 03

If I'm with a girl and they're drinking one, and they're taking long with it, I'm like, give me that thing.

• 1:05:22Speaker 01

  That's when he drinks it.

• 1:05:23H. Foley?

How are you on the dating scene now? You dating a little bit?

• 1:05:26Speaker 03

  I'm dating a little bit.

• 1:05:27H. Foley?

And are you doing like proper, you're doing proper dates?

• 1:05:30Speaker 03

When you say proper, I just, I, I immediately feel like I'm disappointing people. I don't know if this is proper dates.

• 1:05:37H. Foley?

So you take them out to dinner?

• 1:05:38Speaker 03

  Um, sometimes if.

• 1:05:40Speaker 01

If we're hungry. He told you, he invites them over and he make them spam.

• 1:05:45Speaker 03

I'm like, how's the spam in this place?

• 1:05:49Speaker 01

Can you chop it up? Let me send my girl back there, she'll chop it up.

• 1:05:52H. Foley?

And you're always picking up the check when you go out on a date with a, with a lady, right?

• 1:05:55Speaker 03

Yeah, I'll pick up the check.

• 1:05:56H. Foley?

  Nice.

• 1:05:57Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:05:57Speaker 01

  That's respectable.

• 1:05:58H. Foley?

  Gentlemen.

• 1:05:59Speaker 03

But if they're, and it never happens, which is making me wonder like, what kind of women am I talking to? But if they're, if they're ever like, no, no, no, I don't want you to pay this, we'll split it. Or like, I'll pay, you pay this one, I'll pay the next one, I'm cool with that too.

• 1:06:11H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 1:06:12Speaker 01

And you said that hasn't happened?

• 1:06:13Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:06:14Speaker 01

  No.

• 1:06:15Speaker 03

  Not in a long time.

• 1:06:17H. Foley?

It's got a running tab over it, aw shucks.

• 1:06:20Speaker 03

  Are both you guys married?

• 1:06:21Speaker 01

I'm married, he's about to get married.

• 1:06:23Speaker 03

  Congratulations.

• 1:06:24H. Foley?

  Thanks, buddy.

• 1:06:24Speaker 03

Uh, do you always pick up the tab? You're the working man?

• 1:06:27H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 1:06:27Speaker 03

That's cool. Do you, but is that like?

• 1:06:30Speaker 01

  He hits her too.

• 1:06:34Speaker 03

If she, if she had told you like that she's not that type and she don't want you to do that, would you, would you have been cool with it?

• 1:06:39H. Foley?

  Like when we started dating?

• 1:06:41Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:06:41H. Foley?

Actually, when we started dating, she, she paid for a lot of stuff.

• 1:06:46Speaker 01

  Same.

• 1:06:46H. Foley?

  Yeah, she, she.

• 1:06:47Speaker 01

It wasn't up until like three years ago, two years ago, we started making money.

• 1:06:50H. Foley?

Yeah, she had, she had my back a lot.

• 1:06:52Speaker 03

  Dude, you guys, I'm jealous.

• 1:06:53H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 1:06:54Speaker 03

I feel like I've screwed up any chance at having a woman that genuinely likes me, like your, like your wife and fiance likes you.

• 1:07:01Speaker 01

Dude, my wife actually, she emptied out her savings account so we could open up that first, our first studio.

• 1:07:07Speaker 03

  What?

• 1:07:07Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:07:07Speaker 03

  Dude.

• 1:07:08H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 1:07:08Speaker 01

Paid her back and now she's talking about points on the back end, which it's like, it's.

• 1:07:11Speaker 03

You gotta let me see your penis, bro. Something about you must be-

• 1:07:16H. Foley?

You're gonna need those glasses. I'll tell you that.

• 1:07:19Speaker 03

Well, you must be a great listener. That she did this, she emptied out her bank account for you.

• 1:07:24H. Foley?

He snuggles with the best of them, I'll tell you that.

• 1:07:27Speaker 01

Hell of a big spoon, dog.

• 1:07:28Speaker 03
