I love Rocket Money so much. I have set up all these different budgets and notifications that I get emails and reminders on, and I feel like I have been doing so good with saving money. I no longer pay for multiple subscriptions for the save service.

• 0:13Corinne Vien?

  Important.

• 0:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Rocket Money can track subscriptions. It has the ability to cancel unwanted ones within the app with a few taps, and their dashboard is just so easy to understand and navigate.

• 0:22Corinne Vien?

And they also have real-time alerts for large transactions, upcoming bills, refunds, low balances. I definitely rely on those for upcoming bills because I do not remember when my things are due. And I love just that like sort of set it and forget it approach. I love how much it supports me.

• 0:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, and it's so nice. You can link all your other accounts, like your checking, your savings, your loans and investments into one single dashboard to give you a very clear view of your financial picture.

Corinne and I attempted to record Encounters 260, which is this episode that you're listening to. Corinne turned to me and said, "I love you," and I burst into tears crying, and we stopped recording. And then now Corinne was dealing with her own like family stuff. So we have some special guests here today, Jerry and Sierra of Ladies and Tangents. This is Three Girls, One Ghost. Three Girls, One Ghost.

• 2:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

This is like three girls, one ghost.

• 2:09Speaker 02

  This is so exciting.

• 2:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

This is so exciting. Thank you both for joining.

• 2:12Speaker 02

Or maybe it's still two girls and one of us is a ghost.

• 2:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm for sure the ghost because people walk into me all the time. And I told Corinne this, but automatic things don't work for me anymore.

• 2:25Speaker 02

  What?

• 2:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  They just don't sense me.

• 2:28Speaker 03

  Oh, now that is spooky.

• 2:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  So I'm the ghost.

• 2:30Speaker 03

How do animals react around you?

• 2:33Speaker 02

  Oh.

• 2:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Love me.

• 2:34Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 2:35Speaker 02

  And children.

• 2:35Speaker 03

So you're not a scary ghost, at least?

• 2:38Speaker 02

When you were up on their ceilings, like, did children watch you? Or?

• 2:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Honestly, okay, if I were a real ghost, I would for sure be a scary ghost because I want to be a scary ghost.

• 2:48Speaker 03

  Yeah, I get that.

• 2:50Speaker 02

I wonder if I'd want to be scarier if I want to be pranky.

• 2:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But isn't scaring people kind of pranky?

• 2:55Speaker 02

Maybe. Well, I mean, I feel like if I was intentionally trying to scare someone, I wouldn't be doing it from a comedy place. But if I'm being pranky, I would be doing it from a comedy place. But regardless, they would be scared.

• 3:09Speaker 03

The end result would be the same.

• 3:10Speaker 02

But my intention in the act would be different.

• 3:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, what's a ghost prank that you would do?

• 3:16Speaker 02

You know, probably just a classic wedgie.

• 3:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Classic.

• 3:20Speaker 02

  I don't know.

• 3:22Speaker 02

It was a swirly, classic ghost wedgie.

• 3:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Sierra, what would you do?

• 3:27Speaker 03

Great question, great question. Um, be honest, I haven't thought about it too hard.

• 3:31Speaker 02

I mean, wedgie was my panic answer.

• 3:33Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:33Speaker 02

I'm honest, because I don't know how I would go about accomplishing that.

• 3:37Speaker 03

I feel like I would be a real Casper the friendly ghost situation to where I would just be like giving affirmations. You would be doing something and in the background, you'd hear, yes, queen, go off, sis, a lot of that.

• 3:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I could use one of those right now in my life.

• 3:52Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Actually, okay, as context for people who are listening, Corinne and I attempted to record Encounters 260, which is this episode that you're listening to. And we'll play the beginning of what we recorded. Corinne turned to me and said, I love you, and I burst into tears crying, and we stopped recording.

• 4:07Speaker 03

Yeah, I like it. I love it.

• 4:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Thank you.

• 4:09Speaker 03

  I love you.

• 4:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I love you.

• 4:12Speaker 03

Don't cry. This is two girls, one ghost.

• 4:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm sorry. I shouldn't have told you I love you. And then now Corinne was dealing with her own like family stuff. So we have some special guests here today, Jerry and Sierra of Ladies and Tangents, who are helping fill in for the evening, afternoon, or whenever you're listening.

• 4:38Speaker 02

  Hi.

• 4:38Speaker 03

  Hello.

• 4:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hi, hello.

• 4:41Speaker 02

Is it weird that 12 is my lucky number and two times six is 12?

• 4:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I did not know that. Did you know 26 is my lucky number? So.

• 4:47Speaker 03

Oh, my God. 27 is mine. That's strange.

• 4:50Speaker 02

  Shh.

• 4:51Speaker 03

  I swear.

• 4:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Are we sisters?

• 4:53Speaker 03

  I think we should be.

• 4:56Speaker 03

  In another life, for sure.

• 4:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm sure everyone who listens to our podcast knows who you are, but will you just give a little blurb of who you are? And then, well, you already told us your, how you would haunt. So I feel like you gave us a fun fact.

• 5:08Speaker 02

Do you start with fun facts?

• 5:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

No, but I just think it'd be fun. Corinne and I did become friends because of a fun fact. So that's a good way to actually introduce people.

• 5:17Speaker 02

The fun fact, like, because you guys went to college together, didn't you?

• 5:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Mm hmm.

• 5:20Speaker 02

So is that how you got to know each other? Is like in a classroom full of people, you both gave a fun fact and you looked across and you're like, wow, I've never heard of fun or fact.

• 5:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, I'll say Corinne gave the good fun fact. And I looked at her and I was like, I want to be her friend because she said I.

• 5:36Speaker 02

  Is that how that happened?

• 5:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, literally.

• 5:39Speaker 02

  What a meet cute.

• 5:40Speaker 03

  Yeah, I love that.

• 5:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Corinne said that she grew up in a haunted house. And I was like, uh, yes. Mine was bad. Mine was that I could wiggle my ears. And so I don't think Corinne looked across the room and was like, that girl.

• 5:53Speaker 02

I've been waiting my whole life for that.

• 5:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Can wiggle my ear holes. Okay, yeah, but Ladies and Tangents, tell us about it.

• 6:00Speaker 02

Yeah, we're Ladies and Tangents. I'm Jerry.

• 6:03Speaker 03

  I'm Sierra.

• 6:04Speaker 02

And we are cousins. Our meet cute was a little different.

• 6:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yep.

• 6:08Speaker 02

We looked at each other across the room and went, ah, because we're nine days apart in birth.

• 6:16Speaker 03

  In birthing.

• 6:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So you guys are basically sisters.

• 6:19Speaker 02

  Kind of.

• 6:20Speaker 03

I am married to a twin and I would say we got raised very similarly.

• 6:24Speaker 02

Oh, we truly did. It was arguable that there was no separating us when it was family situations.

• 6:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And based on your dating situation now, Jerry, like you guys could be sister wives.

• 6:36Speaker 03

  We might, we might be.

• 6:38Speaker 02

Yep. Um, we just got back from tour at the beginning of October. And after I announced that I was dating Cory, who's Sierra's husband.

• 6:47Speaker 03

  Nope. I was like, sorry.

• 6:49Speaker 02

  No, his brother.

• 6:50Speaker 03

I wasn't done with the sentence.

• 6:54Speaker 02

  A news flash.

• 6:55Speaker 03

  I was gonna say.

• 6:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

This is news to me. So you're literally sister wives now.

• 7:00Speaker 02

No, after I announced that I was dating Cory, who is Sierra's husband's brother.

• 7:04Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 7:04Speaker 02

We received a lot of bracelets that say sister cousins.

• 7:07Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 7:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I love that so much.

• 7:10Speaker 02

Yeah, I, I joked when Brady and I started dating that we came into this world with the same last name and we will go out of this world with the same last name.

• 7:19Speaker 03

  Exactly.

• 7:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Amazing.

• 7:21Speaker 02

She may not want to share it with me someday, but I'm gonna.

• 7:25Speaker 03

  Taking it.

• 7:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Hey, here's my fun fact and also a secret. My name still isn't.

• 7:32Speaker 03

I haven't changed it yet. We've been married for over a year.

• 7:35Speaker 02

And if these men want to keep acting up, we won't take it. How about that?

• 7:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, there you go. Yeah, that's true. You have the power now. My fun fact is that I am, well, actually technically the divorce is not final yet, but I still have that last name. So I have not changed my last name back.

• 7:52Speaker 02

I haven't changed my last name either. I still have my divorced last name. They asked me though, in the courtroom, they were like, would you like to be reinstated to your previous name? And I was like, that sounds like so much work. I just, I just got a new ID. And I look really cute in that picture. I've honestly never looked happier. So I don't want to get another one.

• 8:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It is so much work, which is why I also like, the only thing I did ever, when, when I did get married, the only thing I ever actually changed was my social security and my passport. I never, my driver's license still has my maiden name. All of my credit cards and bank accounts all still are my maiden name. So that should have been a sign.

• 8:31Speaker 02

  Your ID?

• 8:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, my driver's license still has.

• 8:33Speaker 02

  How?

• 8:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  No one's flagged me.

• 8:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Fair enough.

• 8:37Speaker 02

Oh, my God. You want to hear a story about IDs?

• 8:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yes, I do.

• 8:41Speaker 02

Okay, if you are a um, legal professional or a officer of the law, shut up for a little bit. Okay?

• 8:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Or, or like, don't listen.

• 8:52Speaker 02

I have my old ID because it expired and then I had to get a new one. And because we were on tour, I didn't know if my new ID was going to come in in time. So I just kept my old one in the meantime to be like, I might have to get on a plane and need this. But then I got my new one. And so now I have both. And I've accidentally given my expired one out to TSA.

• 9:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  And they don't buy it?

• 9:14Speaker 02

  No, it doesn't matter. No.

• 9:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay, so that's on them.

• 9:18Speaker 02

  That's what I'm saying.

• 9:19Speaker 03

I didn't do it on purpose.

• 9:20Speaker 02

Saying, I could have very easily committed voter fraud as well, and I didn't. I just want that to be known because they have two different addresses on them.

• 9:28Speaker 03

See, that should be made very clear.

• 9:30Speaker 02

  I didn't, and I could have.

• 9:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You didn't.

• 9:32Speaker 02

So I would like a pat on the back.

• 9:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, well, so you're filling in for Corinne. So you two both have to do your best to act like Corinne today.

• 9:42Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 9:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I did think like if we had enough time to plan, like it would have been funny for you both to wear wigs and look like Corinne. And then for some reason, my mind went to like 50 First Dates when what's his name dresses up with like the like fake boobs and the long wig. And I don't know why that's from my brain.

• 10:01Speaker 02

  I'm into it.

• 10:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay.

• 10:03Speaker 02

I almost grabbed, I grabbed the mics from the office. I almost grabbed my, my black wig that I used when I pretend, when I dressed up as Sierra for Halloween last year. I almost grabbed that because I was like, there are about to be three black cats instead of two and a golden retriever.

• 10:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Are you two the golden retrievers?

• 10:18Speaker 02

  I am.

• 10:18Speaker 03

You guys are the black cats. The black cats.

• 10:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, I was gonna say, okay, yeah. Sierra, yeah.

• 10:24Speaker 02

Don't you insult me by calling me a golden retriever.

• 10:28Speaker 03

  Never.

• 10:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Gary, you like, because you're so witchy, you do give me black cat, though, sometimes.

• 10:34Speaker 02

I think that's because I got big pussy energy.

• 10:38Speaker 03

Which now that I'm not afraid of that word anymore.

• 10:41Speaker 02

I'm gonna start dropping it. Both the word and this thing. Okay?

• 10:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm all about the pussy word.

• 10:49Speaker 03

  Hell yeah.

• 10:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And we're also about ghost stories here. So.

• 10:52Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 10:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I think you two brought some ghost stories.

• 10:56Speaker 03

  We did.

• 10:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But so did I, surprisingly, because this is three girls, one ghost.

• 11:03Speaker 03

  Three girls, one ghost.

• 11:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I liked the voice crack. Who was that?

• 11:09Speaker 03

Probably me. Honestly, I've been getting over a bit of a cold. So I apologize, everybody.

• 11:13Speaker 02

The whole thing felt sexual. Ever since I said pussy, now I'm not sure how to act.

• 11:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, this is such a good transition because I was like, okay, what type of story should I pick for Jerry and Sierra? And guess what I picked? A sexy story.

• 11:26Speaker 03

  Sexy ghost story?

• 11:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, I love sex with ghost stories. It's kind of my thing. Like, you know how some people are into like fairy sex or fairy smut, whatever? I'm into ghost sex. So.

• 11:37Speaker 03

  I love that.

• 11:38Speaker 02

Is that what the movie Ghost is about with the pottery?

• 11:41Speaker 03

I mean, it's not not about it.

• 11:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I haven't ever seen it. I've only seen that one scene and it's pretty sensual.

• 11:47Speaker 03

  Oh, they fuck. They fuck.

• 11:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  They do?

• 11:50Speaker 02

I've never, I've never seen it.

• 11:51Speaker 03

It's been like 10 years since I've seen it.

• 11:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I feel like that is what it's about. Yeah.

• 11:55Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 11:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Also, okay, we've read stories before where there's multiple different versions of ghost sex. The one I'm about to read is more of like, trigger warning, a salty.

• 12:05Speaker 03

  Okay, gotcha.

• 12:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Non-consensual, but there have been some that are so sexy and so consensual. And the theme with those are that these ghosts know how to make a girl come like nobody's business.

• 12:23Speaker 03

Did you ever hear about Anna Nicole Smith and the ghost?

• 12:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Did I ever hear about her? Yeah.

• 12:29Speaker 02

No, with the ghost. There's a ghost story?

• 12:31Speaker 03

She has a story like that, that she, that she got off with a ghost.

• 12:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That's amazing.

• 12:35Speaker 02

But like, in that story, you, I guess you can answer, is she awake or is this a dream?

• 12:40Speaker 03

Well, I can't speak for her.

• 12:42Speaker 02

Let's call her up right now. Who's got the Ouija board?

• 12:45Speaker 03

I assume that it was, she was awake because she described it pretty vividly.

• 12:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That seems to be the theme. Or it's like, a lot of the ones that I've heard or we've read is someone's in bed in between sleep and wake state.

• 13:02Speaker 02

So like, my sleep paralysis demon made me come.

• 13:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Exactly. And that's literally the subject line. Are you a, you are a witch? The subject line of this is my sleep paralysis demon is apparently a nice guy TM.

• 13:18Speaker 03

  Oh, hell. Okay.

• 13:19Speaker 02

  Well?

• 13:20Speaker 03

  Let's hear it.

• 13:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay.

• 13:23Speaker 04

Welcome to the 50th Hunger Games. Witness the beginning of the revolution.

• 13:27Speaker 05

Hey Mitch, you've been trying to take down these games from Star.

• 13:30Speaker 04

  Film for IMAX.

• 13:32Speaker 05

  Make them remember you.

• 13:34Speaker 04

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Leaping, November 20th, rated PG 13.

• 13:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Hello ladies. Oh, this is from Mackie, by the way.

• 13:43Speaker 02

Sorry, there's also a tufted tit mouse at my bird feeder outside. So I'm very distracted by it's like pecking at the bird feeder.

• 13:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Bird names are very strange.

• 13:52Speaker 02

Yeah. I have like white chested nuthatches or whatever and tufted tit mice.

• 13:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's all sexual. It's on brand today. So Mackie says, I've only had two instances of sleep paralysis. Thank goodness. The first I know was my fault because I was very pregnant with a big old baby at the time. And I laid down on the couch with my feet up on the armrest to get my swollen ankles some relief. But I fell asleep on my back. Whoopsie. So then I started having a dream about UFOs chasing me around and grays slash abductions are my huge fear. At some point I became aware I was just having a nightmare. I was telling myself to wake up, but I couldn't move. Luckily my husband was on the couch too and could see something was wrong. So he fully woke me up and helped me get out of this sleep paralysis. But the second time was a few months ago and it was very different from before.

• 14:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I usually sleep on my stomach, but for some reason I was on my back in a face up plank position, body totally straight, arms down at my side. When I was woken up by pressure on my hip, right at my underwear line that kept moving down. And I was confused for a second and I was like, wait, sexy ghost? Mainly because of the location that I was feeling the pressure. Also, my husband was asleep on my other side, so I knew it wasn't him. And it was like a deep massage-like pressure, not light gentle touch. But let me be clear, the vibe was not really relaxing like a massage because if someone wants to come rub my feet or take care of the knots in my shoulders, then yeah, please, that's the kind of ghosts I'll invite anytime.

• 15:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But this was not relaxing or invited, so I quickly thought, no, stop. Whatever this is, you're not welcome here, which I guess was not what Mr. Evil Sex Sleep Demon wanted to hear because suddenly my legs froze and the paralysis quickly moved up my entire body until I was frozen, shoulders to toes.

• 15:45Speaker 02

  Oh, no.

• 15:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And it was beyond just feeling paralyzed. It also felt like my arms were being pressed into my sides, like I was being squeezed on either side. So again, I thought, I don't like this. Go away. You're not welcome here. Then I woke up, or I thought I could move again and I wasn't being squeezed anymore. And I figured it was just an overly realistic bad dream and it was all done. But just as suddenly I felt the paralysis move up my body, trapping my arms against my sides again. So I look at my husband and I see a small, black shadow pass between us and fly up over towards the corner of the ceiling. So I start waking my husband and I keep repeating, go away, go away. All of a sudden again, I was awake and it felt different.

• 16:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Both times it felt like waking up from a bad dream, a bad dream where my husband was peacefully snoring next to me, unaware of my cries for help. Okay, but I really don't think it was some evil demon, maybe just a ghost who is one of those, you know, nice guys that have a complete meltdown when they're told no.

• 16:45Speaker 02

He just wanted a hug. His nice guy hug. Where my hug at ghost?

• 16:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, yeah. Still, dead or alive, no means no, people. I told my husband about it the next day and he apologized. We're just so sweet. He said he didn't notice or hear anything. So was it a bad dream or a real paranormal dilemma? As I think back, I'm 90% sure I was shouting in my head instead of making any noise out loud. Whatever it was, no thanks to that experience. Stay spooky. See you on the other side. Mackie.

• 17:15Speaker 02

  Wow. Okay, here's a question.

• 17:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Sure.

• 17:18Speaker 02

Whenever you are in that state, or even if you're awake, do you think that you have to say it out loud? Or do you think thinking stuff works just the same, like to communicate?

• 17:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I think thinking stuff works just the same.

• 17:31Speaker 03

  I agree.

• 17:32Speaker 02

  I agree.

• 17:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Personally.

• 17:33Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 17:34Speaker 02

So that's why it's interesting that she was like, I don't actually think I was making sound. I think I was just thinking it really loud. And I'm like, well, I'll.

• 17:40Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 17:40Speaker 02

But maybe that was more for her husband. Maybe.

• 17:42Speaker 03

  So he can feel better.

• 17:43Speaker 02

  Maybe.

• 17:43Speaker 03

That he didn't react at all.

• 17:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, yeah. He was like, yeah.

• 17:48Speaker 02

Part of me is like, is it a beige flag that he apologized for you being semi assaulted?

• 17:54Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 17:54Speaker 02

  By a ghost?

• 17:55Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 17:56Speaker 02

Like, would it be a red flag if he was like, I fucking swear I'll beat up any ghost who tries to hurt my woman?

• 18:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Probably.

• 18:01Speaker 02

Do you know what I mean?

• 18:02Speaker 03

  I, yes, I think so.

• 18:04Speaker 02

Like, is that toxic masculinity if it's against the ghosts?

• 18:07Speaker 03

  I say yes.

• 18:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, I say yes to that, too, for sure. I think it's very sweet. I actually love that he apologized like that. Like, I don't know why that makes me emotional. Like, why don't I know men like that? You know?

• 18:20Speaker 02

Just apologize for these ghosts in my house, please. I'm really sorry.

• 18:25Speaker 03

Could you please just apologize for everything that's not your fault?

• 18:28Speaker 02

Yeah. Well, I also think it's super validating that, like, he didn't see it, experience it, hear it, but.

• 18:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  But he believed her?

• 18:34Speaker 02

  But he believed her.

• 18:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I agree.

• 18:36Speaker 02

Maybe that's what we're emotional about.

• 18:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That's what we like. Yeah.

• 18:39Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 18:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  A supportive partner.

• 18:41Speaker 02

Well, now I'm turned on again.

• 18:44Speaker 02

Great. Where's that ghost when you need him?

• 18:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

All right, sex ghosts, head over to Jerry.

• 18:52Speaker 02

  Calling all sex ghosts.

• 18:53Speaker 03

Well, I was gonna say, if you're turned on, I, much like I feel you picked stories potentially for our listeners that were a little more, you know, that.

• 19:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Sex crazed.

• 19:04Speaker 03

I tried to pick spooky ones, so you're not gonna be turned on.

• 19:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You don't know. You don't know what I'm into.

• 19:12Speaker 03

  All right. All right.

• 19:14Speaker 02

  Fair enough.

• 19:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Try me.

• 19:15Speaker 02

What do they do? Don't they like rate hot stories with like peppers?

• 19:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, like spicy?

• 19:20Speaker 03

  Spicy.

• 19:21Speaker 02

  Like spicy?

• 19:21Speaker 03

  Yes, you're so right.

• 19:22Speaker 02

Depending on whatever your kinks are, tell me how many peppers this next story's worth.

• 19:26Speaker 03

Okay, okay, well, I'm actually very excited about that.

• 19:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay.

• 19:30Speaker 03

So these are ones that I just went through our email. We had people send us ghost stories from a while ago. So this is actually from 2023. It's fine. Don't worry about it. But there's a couple of different stories within this story. So I'm gonna say all three. They're kind of short.

• 19:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, so all spice level each one?

• 19:47Speaker 03

Yes. Okay, so this is from Megan. She said, "I picked a few stories out of the many I have that all happened in the house that I grew up in. Number one, this is called the laugh. At the time of this happening, I'm 14 years old. I'm home alone with the sun at the top of the sky, a slight cool breeze, and I'm getting out of a major depressive episode. It's a beautiful day. However, coming out of this depressive episode, I was stinky nasty and decided I needed to take a shower. While I stand in this hot glorious nectar of the gods, I hear loud footsteps down the hall. Oh, I guess my parents are home, I think. I don't hear any talking, but I assume I just can't hear them over the water running.

• 20:29Speaker 03

And then it happens, a laugh. It wasn't my mom's laugh, not my dad's laugh, and it wasn't in the hallway. It was a random man's laugh in the bathroom next to me. No. Paralyzed in fear, I stand there for a moment, hands still in my sudsy hair.

• 20:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Zero peppers.

• 20:48Speaker 03

Zero peppers. I slowly turn to the shower curtain with my conditioner bottle in hand, ready for battle.

• 20:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Weapon.

• 20:55Speaker 03

I peek my head out of the curtain and no one is there. I rush through the rest of my shower, telling myself it was nothing but feeling watched and vulnerable. Maybe it was my dad's laugh. It had to have been.

• 21:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  In the bathroom.

• 21:08Speaker 03

  Zero.

• 21:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Still zero peppers. Get out of my bathroom, Dad. You're fucking sick for that.

• 21:14Speaker 03

But when I leave the bathroom and I walk through this silent house, I realize I'm still home all alone. How many peppers, everybody?

• 21:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm gonna give it zero peppers and like, on a scale of like, zero to five nasty, five, because... Not only is there a man ghost laughing in the shower, it's almost like you're naked. Why is a man laughing at you?

• 21:38Speaker 03

Yeah, and she's a minor. Get out of this bathroom.

• 21:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, there's zero peppers here.

• 21:43Speaker 03

  You creep bitch.

• 21:46Speaker 03

  Six spoiled peppers.

• 21:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, yeah.

• 21:49Speaker 03

Yeah. All right, this next one is called the piano.

• 21:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay.

• 21:53Speaker 03

This is all from the same person? All from the same person. Three stories. Here we go. At this time, I'm around six to eight years old and I'm asleep in bed. I wake up to my closet sliding open. I lay there frozen in fear, staring straight at it. Then, towards the end of my bed, I hear my toy piano play a note. I quickly flip to my back and look over there with just my eyes. I'm just gonna. First of all, wait, no offense, Megan, but what else do you look with?

• 22:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  My toe eyes.

• 22:25Speaker 03

  Yuck your yum.

• 22:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  My toes.

• 22:26Speaker 03

I'm looking with just my tootsies.

• 22:30Speaker 03

Put your hand out, you're like, who's there? Like one of those scopes from a submarine?

• 22:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm just picturing a hand puppet with like googly eyes.

• 22:41Speaker 03

My mind immediately went to the Avril Monsters guy who could take his eyeballs and hold them with his hands.

• 22:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Which would be a pretty clutch ability.

• 22:49Speaker 03

But you're still looking with your eyes then. That's true.

• 22:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That's true.

• 22:52Speaker 03

In mine. It's your eyes, but your hand are an accessory to the fact.

• 22:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  True, true.

• 22:58Speaker 03

They always are. Your hand with the assist. They always do. Okay. Four peppers for my hands.

• 23:08Speaker 03

  That's what I know.

• 23:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You get five peppers for your hands.

• 23:10Speaker 03

Damn straight. Well, I can't say that.

• 23:14Speaker 03

Negative seven peppers for my hands for you. Too scared to move anymore than I already have. I don't see anyone, but then I hear another note. Next thing I know, I'm sitting straight up. I'm getting out from under the covers. So it sounds like how she's describing it is she's not really in control of this. It's just happening.

• 23:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm now picturing Beetlejuice. Like this music is just running through her bones and she's dancing to the music.

• 23:40Speaker 03

Getting out from under my covers and I'm sitting on the floor. I don't know why, but I crawl over to my little piano and it plays one of the preset songs. One that I don't like. The stars on it light up in their brightest colors flashing to the beat. I changed the song to my favorite. It switches back again. Back to the one I don't like and it's loud. It's so loud.

• 24:02Speaker 02

  I'm gonna cry.

• 24:03Speaker 03

I turn it down to not wake up my parents in the room next door, but no matter how far I turn it, it seems to stay at the same volume. I'll just turn it off. The song won't stop. The flashing won't stop. Why won't it stop?

• 24:17Speaker 02

My nipples are so hard right now. I need you to know that I have goosebumps over my entire body and that's including my nipples.

• 24:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I will say, Jerry, you're doing a great job of being Corinne right now because Corinne's nipples get hard all the time when she's scared.

• 24:36Speaker 02

Okay, I'm channeling Corinne. That's why my nipples are so hard.

• 24:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You are.

• 24:40Speaker 02

Honestly incredible. These are Corinne's nipples right now. My nipples couldn't be softer.

• 24:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Mine are pretty soft too, but I feel like it takes a lot of stimulation to get my nipples hard.

• 24:50Speaker 02

Hey, agreed. Next to nothing for me, I guess.

• 24:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Can I ask, is this listener, Megan, is she still a minor? Should we warn her to not listen to this episode?

• 25:00Speaker 03

No, no, she, okay, she doesn't give her exact age, but she says this happened a while, this happened a while ago.

• 25:05Speaker 02

We do have to be careful with giving spicy peppers to these stories and, and remember that the peppers that we're giving are for, for adult people experiencing this. We are not giving peppers to children.

• 25:18Speaker 03

  Certainly not.

• 25:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Do not give peppers to children.

• 25:22Speaker 02

  That's what I know.

• 25:23Speaker 03

I don't like this song and I don't want to get in trouble. So I frantically unplug it and I sit back. Ah, finally silence.

• 25:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh no.

• 25:31Speaker 03

I sit, I sit there for a bit, waiting for someone to come in and see why I'm still awake. Surely they're going to be in here after all that. After a while, I realize that no one's coming, so I might as well keep playing. What? All right. I get it.

• 25:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I may as well keep being possessed by a ghost and playing on this piano.

• 25:50Speaker 02

Six year old logic. You know what I'm saying?

• 25:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 25:52Speaker 02

Takes out a fucking cigarette. It's like, God. That was a lie, wasn't it?

• 25:55Speaker 03

Do, do, do, do, do, do. So I played some notes for a little bit with the volume low like it should have been the first time.

• 26:02Speaker 02

Okay, wait a minute, wait a minute. You decided to play, but you wanted to play the haunted thing?

• 26:06Speaker 03

Yes, hold on. And then I remember zoning out a little bit, but I can't remember anything after. The next morning I wake up in my bed. Doesn't remember getting there.

• 26:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Megan was possessed.

• 26:17Speaker 03

Right. The closet door almost all the way closed and my toy piano still plugged in, but turned off. I told my mom what happened and asked why she didn't come in and tell me to go to bed. And she said they didn't hear a thing all night.

• 26:32Speaker 04

Welcome to the 50th Hunger Games. Witness the beginning of the revolution.

• 26:36Speaker 05

Hey Mitch, you've been trying to take down these games from the start.

• 26:39Speaker 04

  Filmed for IMAX.

• 26:41Speaker 05

  Make them remember you.

• 26:43Speaker 04

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, November 20th, rated PG-13.

• 26:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

They for sure took some sleeping pills that night, right? Like we can agree.

• 26:51Speaker 03

Mom and dad were hitting the sauce.

• 26:54Speaker 02

  Let me tell you something.

• 26:56Speaker 03

  Please.

• 26:57Speaker 02

I think that's a lie from mom and dad. And let me tell you why. Because when my kids are down and they're asleep, it would take a fire, a literal fire. And I don't mean a fire alarm because one did go off at two in the morning and I thought, ah, shut up. And I didn't even want to go out of bed. I was like, I'm not dealing with this. Please shut up.

• 27:20Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 27:20Speaker 02

I'm going to pretend to still be asleep because from the hours of nine PM until nine AM, I am a corpse.

• 27:28Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 27:28Speaker 02

  Consider me dead.

• 27:30Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 27:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, that's fair. I thought you were going to say, and, and I feel like this is maybe perhaps an experience I will have if I have a creepy child one day. If my child is doing something very creepy in the middle of the night and they're not like in danger, they're not screaming, I might just let them be creepy because it's scaring me.

• 27:51Speaker 03

  That's none of my business.

• 27:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Because I'm dead right now.

• 27:53Speaker 03

You can hang out in there and you have your fun.

• 27:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 27:56Speaker 03

If I hear a scream, if I hear a sound of terror, but if you guys are just playing the piano back and forth.

• 28:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You're all good.

• 28:03Speaker 03

Sounds like you're good Frank Sinatra. Would you play the piano?

• 28:07Speaker 02

  I don't know.

• 28:09Speaker 03

  Charlie Chaplin.

• 28:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Charlie Chaplin?

• 28:11Speaker 02

  You go off like Charles.

• 28:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That's it. I feel like Megan was possessed.

• 28:17Speaker 02

  Oh, 100%.

• 28:18Speaker 03

  I agree.

• 28:19Speaker 02

How many peppers for piano possession?

• 28:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Zero. Well, it's not, okay, well, okay, so now I'm like, now I'm not raiding with peppers in terms of like sexuality or spicier.

• 28:30Speaker 02

Oh, I was going to, but I was not going to be a six to eight year old while I was doing it.

• 28:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And if anything, now I'm like, oh, like, is this my type of ghost story? Like, now the pepper system is getting confusing.

• 28:41Speaker 03

I get it. I get it. Okay. I'm here with you.

• 28:44Speaker 02

  It always does.

• 28:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yes, it does. But in terms of scariness, like, it's not the scariest haunting. Like, I think the first haunting is scarier.

• 28:51Speaker 03

  I agree.

• 28:52Speaker 02

I say, if you're gonna wake me up with a little music, you wanna tickle my ivories, if you will?

• 28:59Speaker 03

Three peppers. Three peppers. I'm into music. Or was once. Musical group.

• 29:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Tickle my ivories.

• 29:08Speaker 03

All right, last one for this email. This one's titled, Who's There? This last story is quite a bit crazier, so let me set the scene. My room is all the way at the end of a long, narrow hallway on the left. Across the hall is our spare bedroom that has really bad vibes. We always keep that door closed.

• 29:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's a spare bedroom for a reason.

• 29:27Speaker 03

Yes. Between these two rooms is a closet.

• 29:29Speaker 02

Question. I have a question about that.

• 29:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Sure.

• 29:31Speaker 02

About spare rooms, because I feel like we collectively understand that there's a vibe about spare rooms. Like, there's just like negative energy and like the idea of keeping the door closed. Do we think that keeping the door closed stops it from traveling to the rest of the house? Or do we think it traps it and like almost heightens it in the room? Do you know what I mean?

• 29:51Speaker 03

  Great question.

• 29:52Speaker 02

Like, if you were to open a, like farting, if you were to open a window, it would kind of let it out. But when you close a door, after you just like.

• 29:58Speaker 03

  Trapping it in there?

• 29:59Speaker 02

  That's what I mean.

• 30:00Speaker 03

  Make it an angry?

• 30:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Although, I do think it does work. I don't know.

• 30:05Speaker 02

But you think it's stuck then and has nowhere to go?

• 30:07Speaker 03

  It can go through walls.

• 30:09Speaker 02

Well, what, what's the point of the door then?

• 30:10Speaker 03

When I close my door in my spare room, it's because of the mess.

• 30:14Speaker 02

You're so honest. I'm talking about.

• 30:17Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 30:17Speaker 02

  Creepy rooms.

• 30:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Creepy rooms. I mean, a lot of, a mess can be creepy. But it's so weird because ghosts are confusing. Like, why can some move through walls? And why can some be trapped in specific spaces? Because I had, like, growing up in my haunted house, like, once my family got the house blessed, this one closet in our basement was horrifying. And we just think that after getting the house blessed, like, the only place it could be was that one closet.

• 30:43Speaker 02

  Interesting.

• 30:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  So I don't know.

• 30:45Speaker 03

Between these two rooms, there's a closet. There's a slim wall between my door and the closet. This skinny legend of a wall is going to be important to remember. So I'm, once again, around six to eight years old, an only child, and I'm making my Barbies make out in my room. When, period.

• 31:02Speaker 02

Six peppers, because I love Barbies making out. Love it.

• 31:06Speaker 03

Me too. When I hear a knock on my closed door, I say, "Come in." But the door doesn't open. I hear another knock. It sounds like my dad's knock. He just taps on the door. So with more gusto, I shout, "Come in." Nada. I call out, "Daddy." Then came the loudest knocking my tiny self had ever heard. Bang, bang, bang, bang. The doorknob shakes a little, and the door fucking flies open. And when I say flies, I mean, there is still a dent in the wall from how hard that bitch swung open.

• 31:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Shit.

• 31:40Speaker 03

  To this day.

• 31:41Speaker 02

  Nipples are hurt.

• 31:43Speaker 03

Now, my dad and I used to play pranks on each other when I was little, including standing behind that skinny queen wall to jump out and scare each other when we left my room. So even though I'm startled, I think maybe it's him playing a silly little goofy prank. I slowly walk over to my now-opened door and turn to the left. "Ha ha, you can't jump out at me if I jump out at you first." Except, my dad isn't standing there. No one is. Confused and now a little extra startled, I turn around and look down the hall. Walking from the kitchen to the living room, holding a bowl of ice cream, is my dad. "All right, bitch, now I'm scared." I sprint down the hall to my living room and see both of my parents sitting there concerned. So who is eating the ice cream?

• 32:24Speaker 02

  Her dad.

• 32:25Speaker 03

Her dad. But he's in the living room.

• 32:26Speaker 02

What? Wait a minute, I thought dad walked to the living room.

• 32:29Speaker 03

  Oh, maybe.

• 32:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, that's what I was thinking too, because if dad is in multiple places, that's scary too.

• 32:34Speaker 03

Fair enough. I'm like, ah, there are multiple dads in the house. My worst nightmare.

• 32:38Speaker 02

  Hey, it's okay.

• 32:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, we don't know. Maybe Megan has two dads. We don't know. It could be a brother, a brother has two-

• 32:45Speaker 02

  Two dads. One mom.

• 32:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  A brother husbands situation.

• 32:49Speaker 02

  Could be, could be.

• 32:51Speaker 03

I tell them what happened, but they didn't have an explanation 14 years later, and I still get gooseies when I think about this and I tear up when I tell the story. I apologize for these being so long, but thank you for reading them if you did. Once again, I love you so much and I hope you enjoyed the stories.

• 33:07Speaker 02

  Um, um.

• 33:09Speaker 03

  Enjoyed how?

• 33:09Speaker 02

Did the parents not hear the, the door slam open? Because if the dent is still in the wall today, like, how do you?

• 33:16Speaker 03

  How'd you miss that?

• 33:17Speaker 02

How do you not hear that?

• 33:18Speaker 03

  It sounds like they didn't.

• 33:19Speaker 02

  But the dent is there.

• 33:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Mm hmm. Well, they were watching TV, so it could have been.

• 33:24Speaker 03

And we've already, the parents are drunk.

• 33:28Speaker 03

And they're on, they're on sleeping pills.

• 33:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The parents are actually ghosts and Megan is Matilda.

• 33:34Speaker 02

  Yeah, I've seen.

• 33:35Speaker 03

  Oh, I've seen this movie.

• 33:36Speaker 02

I've seen that movie. Remember how I was like, I would be like a pranky ghost? That would not be a prank to me.

• 33:43Speaker 03

  No, that's.

• 33:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Not to a child.

• 33:44Speaker 02

No, especially with it flying open. Like when she said, maybe it's my dad pulling a prank. What, first of all, why would your dad throw the door open hard enough to put a dent in the wall? I mean, I've dated that guy, but like, why would your dad do that?

• 33:58Speaker 03

  It was fun.

• 33:59Speaker 02

  That's not funny.

• 34:00Speaker 03

When I roundhouse kick my kid's door.

• 34:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, no, it doesn't sound like it's, uh, dad.

• 34:07Speaker 02

Dad, stop, there's so many holes in the wall.

• 34:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Thanks so much for giving me trauma that I'm going to deal with when I'm an adult.

• 34:14Speaker 03

No one's having a good time here, dad.

• 34:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

No, that doesn't sound like dad. And also it, it kind of feels like it's connected to the ghost that laughed.

• 34:23Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 34:23Speaker 02

  It all feels connected.

• 34:24Speaker 03

  Yes, for sure.

• 34:25Speaker 02

It because it all feels like her, it connected to her and fucking with her.

• 34:29Speaker 03

Isn't that called a poltergeist? If they're like a ghost, but they're, they're like mischievous.

• 34:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, they're like noisy ghosts.

• 34:37Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 34:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But the piano one, for some reason, almost felt like a kid or a sibling, especially because it was like putting on the song that she didn't like every time that she put the song that she did like.

• 34:47Speaker 03

I could see that for sure.

• 34:48Speaker 02

But I could also see it being a ghost that's like, I'm going to do age appropriate stuff that would bother you, like put on the song that you don't like and be really loud when I know it could get you in trouble.

• 34:59Speaker 03

  And possess you.

• 35:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Age-appropriate playing.

• 35:03Speaker 02

  Age-appropriate play.

• 35:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Possessions for age eight and up.

• 35:07Speaker 02

Because then, I mean, when she was older and taking the shower, then laughing at her in the shower would be age-appropriate, like, again, making her, pranking, making her uncomf- un- uncomfortable? Uncomfortable.

• 35:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Un- uncomfortable.

• 35:21Speaker 02

  Jesus Christ.

• 35:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's so uncomfortable that there's an extra un.

• 35:24Speaker 02

  Uninventable rights. As a ghost.

• 35:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I think, like, overall, that's, that's like a 10 pepper in terms of scary and a zero pepper in terms of sexy.

• 35:35Speaker 02

  Agreed, agreed. Zero sexy peppers.

• 35:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, I have a story about a kid.

• 35:41Speaker 02

  Okay, creepy kid?

• 35:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

A creepy kid playing Bloody Mary.

• 35:45Speaker 02

  Why?

• 35:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So this is from our listener Shanna and little Aria. "My seven-year-old played Bloody Mary. The other day, I was listening to an Encounter episode, and my daughter, who is nine, but apparently was seven when this story happened, looks at me and says, 'Mommy, I have a story for you.'" And then she proceeded to tell me that when she was seven years old, she decided to play Bloody Mary alone.

• 36:10Speaker 02

  That's brave. She's an icon.

• 36:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

How she knew about Bloody Mary beats me. Maybe she heard it on one of your Encounters episodes, so basically, Krit and I are to blame. Anyway, she tells me that one night, she went into the bathroom, she closed the door, turned off the lights, and then said the famous words, 'Bloody Mary.' She said it three times, and when she looked in the mirror, she saw a black shadow behind her with a very creepy face. She said it looked like her mouth was sewn together.

• 36:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

She said she got so scared, she turned on the light and went back to bed. I, myself, have never played, and I'm not sure what the outcome is supposed to be, but is this her imagination running wild, or is this what happens when you play Bloody Mary?

• 36:50Speaker 02

Which it is what happens. That's what people report.

• 36:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

She swore it really happened and didn't skip a beat when she was telling me the story. Maybe it's because she hears me listening to you guys all the time, I don't know. When she was four years old, I did hear her talking to someone. Mind you, it was just her and I at home that day. So she is a pretty creepy kid, and when I went to go see what she was doing, she was sitting in the middle of the room, just chatting away to no one. I asked her who she was talking to, and she looked at me and said, 'Amelia.' I asked her who Amelia was, and she said, 'Amelia is my dead cousin.'"

• 37:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You bet your ass I went right to Facebook and asked all of our relatives if we had a relative named Amelia that had passed away. Most of them said no, but is it an ancestor of ours? Whoever it was, my little Aria was not afraid. She used to take everyone's shoes and her toys and make big crop circles in the living room. She also tells me she sees a man with a black jacket and a black top hat standing in the corner of a bedroom.

• 37:49Speaker 02

  Not Hat Man!

• 37:50Speaker 03

I was gonna say, I used to see him in my house!

• 37:52Speaker 02

  You did?

• 37:53Speaker 03

Yes! My mom and everybody used to see that, that man. Really tall, very slender.

• 37:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Hat Man's a familial thing. Like, family is usually...

• 38:01Speaker 03

Yes. Literally, you could ask my sister, my mom, we all saw it in our house. He would just be standing in the corner.

• 38:07Speaker 02

Great, now my nipples are hard again.

• 38:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And not in a sexy way.

• 38:10Speaker 02

For Hat Man. Four peppers for Hat Man.

• 38:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Although, I don't know, there is something sexy about a, like, a mysterious man wearing a hat in the corner of your room at night.

• 38:19Speaker 02

I saw a TikTok from Sinisterhood and they were talking about the legend of the, like, lumberjack hitchhiker or something, like the redheaded hitchhiker. And they're describing him as like a burly man with a beard and a flannel. And I'm like...

• 38:35Speaker 03

  That's our, that's our...

• 38:36Speaker 02

I was like, can I pick, what's, what's scary here?

• 38:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's hot.

• 38:41Speaker 03

It's what I go to sleep with every night.

• 38:44Speaker 02

I'm not supposed to pick him up? Okay, got it, whoops.

• 38:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Got it, got it, got it. So she says that when she looks at him, it feels like she can't move, and she tries to get up, but she can't. And she says she tries to scream, but nothing comes out, which is sleep paralysis. "A tall man with a black jacket and top hat has definitely made his appearance in my house. Right after my dad died, I felt a presence while I was sleeping. I woke up in a panic, and I thought it was my dad, but when I looked over, I saw a tall figure wearing a black jacket with a big top hat. I screamed and I jumped on my husband, literally jumped on him." Ten peppers.

• 39:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

He was so confused, I scared the shit out of him. I asked him if he saw it, and he said no. I tried to explain what I had seen, and he told me I was probably just having a nightmare because my dad had just passed away. But I know what I saw. Anyway, I definitely have more stories, like how my husband's grandma's house is haunted as shit, but that's for another time. Hope you enjoyed Shanna and little Aria.

• 39:37Speaker 02

What's it take to be a mentor with big brothers, big sisters? It takes 30 minutes and a cup of coffee, a video game, best two out of three. It takes sharing thumbs up emojis, clapping emojis, and loaded nachos at halftime. That's how you make an impact on a young kid's life.

• 39:54Speaker 04

So go on, share a few hours a month because mentorship may sound huge, but the truth is it takes little to be big. To learn more, volunteer or donate, go to bebignow.org.

• 40:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wow, ten peppers.

• 40:11Speaker 02

Can I tell you what my brain does when I hear scary stories is either one or two things. One, it makes my nipples hard. Or two, I have to picture something funny happening.

• 40:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  What are you picturing?

• 40:21Speaker 02

I just imagine Hat Man appearing, being like, Yo, ZB Dance. And then he has like a full routine where he like flips back his jacket and he like moves his hat. And he's got, I mean, just like a full Michael Jackson routine.

• 40:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You're picturing basically Beetlejuice.

• 40:36Speaker 03

That's what I was just gonna say.

• 40:37Speaker 02

Well, okay, we did just watch Beetlejuice.

• 40:39Speaker 03

  We did.

• 40:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  The new one?

• 40:41Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 40:41Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 40:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Loved it. Did you like it?

• 40:43Speaker 02

Yeah, incredible. I've never seen the first one.

• 40:45Speaker 03

  Me neither.

• 40:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I will say the first one, like, it doesn't age well in terms of, like, he gropes people. He's non-consensual. But they, he's still definitely skeezy and sleazy, but he's not grabbing and groping without permission.

• 41:00Speaker 03

  He turns that part down.

• 41:01Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 41:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 41:03Speaker 02

  Well, that's good.

• 41:04Speaker 03

  That is good.

• 41:04Speaker 02

  That's growth on Beetlejuice.

• 41:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The afterlife has done some good for him.

• 41:10Speaker 03

All right, I do have another that's very scary. And then Jerry might have a funny one to.

• 41:14Speaker 02

I have a funny one that I can contribute. It's not, it's not very long, but I have a funny one I can contribute.

• 41:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, we'll end on the funny one.

• 41:20Speaker 03

So this says, I'm not sure if you want the ghost stories here as well. We used to have a forum, but it says, I submitted this to the forum a while ago. Not sure if you got a chance to read it. Don't feel like you have to read the whole thing because it is long. This is from Paige. She's 26. She/her, please don't feel like you have to read this book of my ghost stories, but they do get increasingly scarier. So there are four chapters. I'm going to skip ahead to the scariest, chapter four.

• 41:45Speaker 02

What is it? Wait a minute, wait a minute.

• 41:47Speaker 03

Chapter four is called Jerry's Friend Jessica. I don't know why it says Jerry's Friend. That has nothing to do with.

• 41:52Speaker 02

Do I have a friend? Oh, I do have a friend named Jessica. She was my roommate. Anyway, sorry.

• 41:55Speaker 03

I don't think this is gonna be.

• 41:56Speaker 02

Yeah, is this about her? Is that the chapter?

• 41:59Speaker 03

This is the chapter. This says, I saved the scariest story for last.

• 42:03Speaker 02

And it's called Jerry's Friend Jessica?

• 42:05Speaker 03

It's not you, though. They might have just, listen. Ready?

• 42:10Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 42:11Speaker 03

To set the scene, I was 10 years old and we, my brother, sister, dad, and cat, had just moved into a newly built house. It was about 3:00 PM and my dad and sister were at the grocery store and my brother was upstairs taking a shower. I was sitting on the stair landing where they split off into different directions, petting our cat. I got the feeling that something bad was around and that I was being watched, so I looked up and I see a little girl, clear as day, in the middle of our empty living room. I blinked a couple of times because, you know, maybe it was an eyelash or something.

• 42:41Speaker 02

  Oh, fuck, a person.

• 42:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

An eyelash in the shape of a little girl.

• 42:45Speaker 02

Can I just say, I know, I know that you say this isn't what I think it is, but my friend Jessica does have an older sister and brother.

• 42:51Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 42:52Speaker 02

So this is weird that it's the same sibling dynamic as my friend Jessica.

• 42:56Speaker 03

Could be. But she was still staring directly into my soul. This was not a good spirit.

• 43:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Is Jessica the ghost girl?

• 43:03Speaker 03

Apparently. She had long, black hair that was floating, almost like she was in a pool. An extremely oversized red t-shirt on. I couldn't see her legs. Her skin was gray. And the scariest part was that I could not see her eyes. They were sunken in black holes and it looked like her jaw was broken.

• 43:22Speaker 02

  Oh.

• 43:23Speaker 03

  She was floating.

• 43:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Is this after she blinked, thinking this was just an eyelash, or did she see all of this and then say it's an eyelash?

• 43:31Speaker 03

Yeah, then she realizes, oh, I can see details.

• 43:34Speaker 02

Oh, that's my bad. How many times I gotta blink to make you go away?

• 43:38Speaker 03

Yeah. She was floating there and just looking at me. I was absolutely terrified and I looked down to see if my cat was seeing this too. He was looking directly at her and had a puffy spine and tail. You know, when cats could see it, that's mm-mm. I then said something like, who are you? Or what do you want? And this bitch ran into the other room.

• 43:59Speaker 02

Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. First of all, first of all, don't say, what do you want?

• 44:04Speaker 03

  No, you shouldn't ask.

• 44:06Speaker 02

  That's a scary question.

• 44:08Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 44:08Speaker 02

And now you're gonna make it angry.

• 44:10Speaker 03

Well, it says, when I say run, though, I mean, I heard the footsteps, but she was floating away. Like, ew.

• 44:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, ew.

• 44:20Speaker 03

Yeah. My cat chased her down one side of the stairs. And I went to go rescue him down the other. I told you guys, I picked scary stories for you.

• 44:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I love this. Thank you.

• 44:31Speaker 03

  I really wanted to impress.

• 44:33Speaker 02

  I hate it here.

• 44:34Speaker 03

I was so excited. My cat chased her down one side of the stairs. I went to go rescue him down the other. She disappeared and I could not find him anywhere. He then jumped out and attacked my leg, scaring me so badly, my heart fully left my body. And I'm still trying to find it.

• 44:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So like, he thought that it, like, she was the ghost girl?

• 44:53Speaker 03

Yes. And that cat was ready to attack.

• 44:56Speaker 02

What if it's like that one movie where the ghost person is like on the, is it Shudder?

• 45:00Speaker 03

Oh, it's like attached to their back?

• 45:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I hate that.

• 45:04Speaker 02

Did you ever watch that movie?

• 45:05Speaker 03

  Yeah, where they're taking pictures?

• 45:06Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 45:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  And it's like on, yes.

• 45:09Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 45:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It reminds me of, I don't think it's a scary story to tell in the dark, but it's like one of those like urban legends you like heard as a kid. Where this kid keeps seeing like a woman on like her dad's back. And it's like, right after like her mom went missing. I'm gonna be telling it poorly, but like, she keeps asking like, who's that woman on your back? And the dad's like, I don't know who you're talking about. And it's like, long story short, he had actually killed the mother and the ghost of her spirit was like on him.

• 45:38Speaker 03

  Hanging on to him, literally.

• 45:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 45:41Speaker 02

Who's that woman on your back? Oh, you know, all these women are always on my back. I can't get them to get off my back.

• 45:47Speaker 03

I can't get them off of me.

• 45:50Speaker 03

So when my dad got home, he started cooking dinner and I didn't want to bother him. Later at dinner, I told him what happened and he asked me what her name was. I didn't ask that question and so he named her Jessica. He would invite her to eat with us at dinner.

• 46:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Dad.

• 46:04Speaker 03

Dad. And I was so scared that she would actually show up. I saw her a couple more times in that house. Sometimes my closet door would be open when I always kept them closed. She liked to go in my closet and sit on the dresser that was in there. I saw Jessica in almost every room in my house. She would stand in the closet and watch me play Webkins on my computer. I saw her standing in the doorway while she watched me brush my teeth. And I saw her in my sister's bedroom doorway when we finally moved out of that house. This is where it gets good. Are you guys ready?

• 46:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Good. There's more? It's already been good. How many peppers? Scary peppers?

• 46:42Speaker 03

  Ten scary peppers?

• 46:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I don't know. I'm kind of like, I kind of like this one. Like, I'm kind of like into it in a sexy way, too.

• 46:49Speaker 03

Oh, you're gonna, you're gonna like this part then. Are you ready?

• 46:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay, cool, cool, cool.

• 46:53Speaker 03

But the story doesn't end there. When I was 19, my friend graduated from high school and got a hotel room in Daytona for the weekend with some friends that I had never met before. When we woke up the next morning, one of the girls pulled me aside and the conversation went as follows. "Her, have you ever seen something you can't explain?" "Me, I have. Why do you ask?" "Her, I'm from Haiti and I have some connections to the spirit world. And I just want you to know, I saw a little girl watching you sleep last night."

• 47:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, fuck.

• 47:23Speaker 03

"Me, I'm sorry, what?" "Her, she was laying beside you last night."

• 47:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Shut up.

• 47:30Speaker 03

"Me, what did she look like?" "Her, she had long, black hair, no eyes, and a big red t-shirt." I just met this girl and I don't go around telling this story to everybody. So if you got this far, I just wanted to say thank you to the both of you. This is where they, they thank me and Jerry's so sorry.

• 47:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm sorry. It just ends there? We don't know.

• 47:50Speaker 02

  It's his name.

• 47:51Speaker 03

  That's it.

• 47:52Speaker 02

Hey, that's something about our listeners. They fucking Irish goodbye the scariest parts of their stories.

• 47:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

They said, no joking though, please send Reggie to Florida. So that's Jerry, who's Jerry's talked to, um, who's like a medium.

• 48:05Speaker 02

Hey, Reggie does virtual, look him up. He will do one over FaceTime. You don't even gotta go to him.

• 48:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And that was it. That was the goodbye. That's, that's the thing about our listeners is they really do be telling us the scariest, craziest shit. And then at the end, they're just like, anyways, goodbye. Okay. Well, the benefit is that none of us here have to live with this creepy little girl, but your listener does.

• 48:26Speaker 02

They still are to this day. I don't love that it's called Jerry's friend Jessica.

• 48:32Speaker 03

  Wait, wait.

• 48:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Am I Jessica?

• 48:36Speaker 02

  You're the ghost.

• 48:38Speaker 03

  That's.

• 48:38Speaker 02

Am I the one with the dark?

• 48:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You're missing sunken eyes. Yeah. Well, I think because her dad named the ghost Jessica, that's it, but.

• 48:48Speaker 02

What's up with the dad naming it?

• 48:50Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 48:51Speaker 02

Like maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist in this way, but I'm like, dad, you got some fucking connection to this ghost?

• 48:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 48:56Speaker 02

You know about this? Why, why are you acting so nonchalant? Why? You feel guilty, dad? Is that why you're inviting her to dinner and giving her a name?

• 49:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I feel like the dad was discrediting it by giving it a name, being like.

• 49:07Speaker 03

  Almost making fun of it.

• 49:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 49:09Speaker 02

  Think?

• 49:10Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 49:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 49:11Speaker 02

That makes more sense than me thinking he murdered her.

• 49:14Speaker 03

  We're going full conspiracy theory.

• 49:16Speaker 02

I'm like, I think that dad knows what happened to Jessica. Now he's trying to calm his conscience by inviting her for some regatoni.

• 49:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

For some regatoni. Oh, man. Yeah. I don't know. I don't like Jessica and I, it does feel like Paige doesn't even need Reggie because her roommate has all these answers.

• 49:35Speaker 03

Oh, they confirmed. Yeah. The good thing about Reggie though, was Reggie kind of told you who he believed it was, correct?

• 49:42Speaker 02

Yeah. So, so Reggie is somebody I met when I was in college. He lived on the same floor as me in my dorm. And when he talked to me about one of the spirits that was around me, he, when he said her name, he was like, I don't ever say names. But I'm going to say this because she won't stop saying that you will know Emily. And Emily is my friend who passed away when we were in second grade.

• 50:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I think you told us.

• 50:06Speaker 02

This story on one of our collabs. So he, at that point in time, and this has been 14 years, 15 years ago, at that point in time, he hadn't gotten, I think, as confident in his abilities as he is now, because I mean, he's been on the Steve Harvey Show at this point. Like, he's talked to. Yeah. Yeah. He's talked to, oh, who was it? Who did Birdman get engaged to? Who the fuck is Birdman? Birdman, Lil Wayne? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Who am I speaking with here? Get out of here. I'm being possessed by somebody who doesn't know rap music.

• 50:41Speaker 02

I'm scared. It's me and Jessica. I'm in here. Get out. Hey, you, go on, get. That's, hey, this is, this is a tutorial to get rid of demons. You look at him and you say, go on, get. You're not welcome here anymore. Go on, go on, get. So I think that Reggie is, what I'm saying is, I think Reggie's more confident now. So I think he would be able to say names, explain stuff in more detail. Can Reggie say? You get out of here. Go, get out of here. What freaks me out about that, and I'll have to ask Brady when we're done with this.

Aside from everything, but yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What freaks me out about that story specifically is when I was living in my old house, Brady had not made this known to me until we were at lunch with Sierra one day. I went to the bathroom, came back, and they were talking spooky. And I was like, what the fuck's happening here? Yeah, that's what I do with people. Don't do that. And. I just make him talk spooky with me. Well, he did not let me know at that point that he could feel energies and he had seen things in my house, um, in the house that I used to live in. And he was like, I just want you to know that there is a really bad energy in your basement and I feel like I'm always being watched.

• 51:57Speaker 02

And there is a bad energy in the bedroom and I have woken up several times and someone has been standing over you. Almost like, like I'm property. Yeah. Not like they want to possess me. Well, it's interesting. Interesting it is. The reason that scares me is because I certainly hope that whatever that is didn't follow me here. Yeah. I don't think it did. If anything, I imagine it.

• 52:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Energy from your past relationship and like.

• 52:23Speaker 02

  Oh, certainly.

• 52:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Was really heightening that.

• 52:26Speaker 02

Like it's almost like so much of that happened in the house that like almost like created a creepy ghost.

• 52:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, that's what I also, I also believe even if there's an energy, a spirit around whatever, whether it's positive or negative, the energy that is being like given off by the people living in that house will really exacerbate whatever is going on.

• 52:48Speaker 02

I agree. That's the only reason it scares me is because I don't, I don't know how much time went between when she would see when, I mean, she said the last time she saw her was when she moved out of the house and she saw it in her sister's bedroom. And then years go by and now she sees it again, like her friend sees it. So no one said anything, no one's felt anything. I think that my new house has very positive energy despite it being built on land.

• 53:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's built on land.

• 53:15Speaker 02

  Well, I mean, I don't know.

• 53:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

As opposed to in the water.

• 53:19Speaker 02

I don't know. I don't know though, that like, like, I don't know what spirits are connected to this land. I don't know how they feel about it being undeveloped and now it's developed. You know what I mean? I didn't, I didn't build a house in a developed area.

• 53:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, I also believe that you are in such a different phase of your life right now that like your energy is so positive and it's like a renewal energy that you have about you that perhaps if there are any spirits.

• 53:44Speaker 02

I hope so, but this story about Jessica just got me all fucking freaked out. And so now I need to go and check in.

• 53:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Are you recording in your new house?

• 53:52Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 53:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay.

• 53:54Speaker 02

What does that mean? What? You, you paused and now I'm freaked out.

• 53:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, I don't know. Talking about ghosts, just make, make sure you say, we'll just set some intentions, like no ghosts or no negative energies allowed at Jerry's house.

• 54:05Speaker 02

  No, thank you.

• 54:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Get out of here.

• 54:08Speaker 02

Get out of here. I had Taylor from Creeps and Crimes, I had Taylor reach out to me and she's like, hey, do you mind if I have Susan check into your land? Because you know, I just, I've been, I've been hearing some things. I've been feeling some things. And also what that little heart vine that you found, I think that's from fairies. Let me look up how you can thank the fairies. I was like, ah, what if I piss off the fairies? I didn't know I had fairies.

• 54:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Fairies aren't bad.

• 54:33Speaker 02

That could be mischievous. I don't know. I don't know. Actually, I don't want to talk shit. Fairies, if you're listening and you're here, I mean, nothing.

• 54:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Just put some candy out for them or something. Like, leave a little offering. See what happens.

• 54:43Speaker 02

Okay. Well, that's the thing. Allegedly, some of them like gifts and some don't.

• 54:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, leave candy in one area and leave nothing anywhere else.

• 54:54Speaker 02

Great. Good. Okay. Now I feel better.

• 54:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's kind of like Halloween where it's like, take one if you'd like.

• 55:00Speaker 02

  Okay. Okay.

• 55:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 55:03Speaker 02

Or take as many as you like.

• 55:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Take what resonates with you, leave the rest.

• 55:07Speaker 02

If it doesn't. Would you like me to share my funny ghost story?

• 55:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I would really like you to do that. Yes, please.

• 55:13Speaker 02

  Okay. This is from River.

• 55:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Love that name.

• 55:16Speaker 02

She, they, he pronouns, literally whatever you want. And I'm one of your longer listeners. River is 15. We will not be using any peppers for River.

• 55:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  No peppers for River.

• 55:25Speaker 02

Okay. But this was sent in 2003. Doesn't matter. River's still too young. River's still doesn't get any peppers.

• 55:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm sorry. Did you say it was sent in 2003?

• 55:36Speaker 02

  2003. Did I? I think you fired that. 2023. Sorry. River's 46 years old.

• 55:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And send it to an email that like never existed in 2003?

• 55:48Speaker 02

Well, now we have to talk about the fact that this was sent to us in 2003. Now I'm even more scared. No, this was sent in 2023. Which means River is still too young for us to give them peppers. Okay? But this is not River's story. This is River's grandpa's story, which means peppers for River's grandpa. Peppers for Pappy. Pappy's peppers. Oh, now we're hot. Nothing gives me hot like Pappy's peppers.

• 56:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You know what? My nipples are there. That actually would be an amazing hot sauce brand.

• 56:23Speaker 02

Hell, yeah, it is. TM, TM. You can't take it.

• 56:27Speaker 03

Because I already claimed it. That's how this works.

• 56:30Speaker 02

All right. We went to my grandma's hometown one time and we decided to visit our family members who passed away at the graveyard. A lot of people think this is kind of weird, but we have a tradition where we bring our dead relatives beer and pour it on their graves.

• 56:42Speaker 03

Oh, I love that. I do love that as well.

• 56:46Speaker 02

So this time we decided to save a little money and get some cheaper beer. I mean, they were gonna pour it out anyway.

• 56:51Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 56:51Speaker 02

We went to the graveyard and gave our family some alcohol.

• 56:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm just imagining Pappy being like, excuse me?

• 56:56Speaker 02

You hold that thought. But that night, my aunt was apparently not happy that we cheaped out on the beer. So she decided to pay my grandpa a little visit in his dream that night. The next morning, we all got to hear the story of how my aunt gave him a piece of her mind for not getting her the good stuff. Since then, we have always gotten the good beer to give our family corpses.

• 57:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

What's the good beer? I'm so curious.

• 57:19Speaker 02

I don't know. They they gotta pay extra.

• 57:22Speaker 03

Here's what I'm imagining. I'm imagining the aunt ghost has just like a crumpled can of Bush Light and she just chucks it at grandpa's head and she's like, are you fucking kidding me, Dad?

• 57:31Speaker 02

The way I almost wore my Bush Light t-shirt to record today.

• 57:35Speaker 03

Dad, are you fucking shitting me right? I ask for one thing and it's nice beer. You give me this piss water?

• 57:44Speaker 04

Welcome to the 50th Hunger Games. Witness the beginning of the revolution.

• 57:48Speaker 05

Hey Mitch, you've been trying to take down these games from Star.

• 57:51Speaker 04

  Film for IMAX.

• 57:53Speaker 05

  Make them remember you.

• 57:55Speaker 04

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Leaping, November 20th, rated PG-13.

• 58:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The fact that it's so important that they bring beer to the graves, like clearly these are beer people.

• 58:06Speaker 03

  Oh, yes.

• 58:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You don't fuck with beer people's beer.

• 58:09Speaker 03

  That's a fact.

• 58:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Lesson learned.

• 58:11Speaker 02

Imagine that person also carried on this tradition before passing and they're like, do you know how much fucking money I spent? And now that I'm dead, I don't even get the good stuff?

• 58:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I also love that I'm just picturing that this aunt's spirit has like not shown herself in years. But the one time she does is to be like, are you fucking kidding me? The disrespect.

• 58:34Speaker 02

I've been saving my energy for this.

• 58:36Speaker 03

So that I could come through in this moment and tell you what the fuck.

• 58:40Speaker 02

Which also leads me to wonder, how are they like, they must be consuming this. Are they consuming the beer or are they just annoyed that the offering?

• 58:48Speaker 03

  Was cheap.

• 58:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I hope they're consuming it selfishly because I want to be able to consume beer when I'm drunk.

• 58:54Speaker 03

That was what I was gonna.

• 58:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

When I'm drunk, when I'm dead, I mean.

• 58:58Speaker 03

  As a beer connoisseur myself.

• 59:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Same.

• 59:00Speaker 03

I hope to God I can suck through the dirt and get some of that sweet, sweet beer.

• 59:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Agreed.

• 59:06Speaker 03

In the afterlife. That's all I want for myself when I'm dead someday.

• 59:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, well, here's some positive that maybe this will give you some hope is one of our listeners. When she was a kid, used to give her grandma cheese and she used to like go sit at the top of the stairs with like slices of cheese and apparently the cheese would disappear. So.

• 59:24Speaker 02

  What?

• 59:25Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 59:26Speaker 02

  Interesting.

• 59:27Speaker 03

You do that with a six pack for me. I'm just creeping through the.

• 59:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Just a floating six pack.

• 59:34Speaker 02

Then all of a stuff start, stuff starts falling off the walls and it's because you keep bumping and go.

• 59:38Speaker 03

  I'm wasted.

• 59:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That's the type of ghost I want to be. I want to be a wasted ghost.

• 59:43Speaker 03

Stairs because I'm a drunk ghost. Imagine someone's in the shower and they look out and I'm just like.

• 59:50Speaker 02

In the mirror talking to yourself.

• 59:52Speaker 03

Peace sign, tongue out. I'm like, you know what? I'm fucking wrecked right now. I do a lot of tongue outs because I'll even be mad and then I'll look at myself and be like, well, we mad for eh, bitch. I look at myself like I just found another drunk girl in the bathroom in the wild and I'm like, well, fancy seeing you here, girl.

• 1:00:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You like make best friends with another drunk girl. It's just you.

• 1:00:16Speaker 03

It's just me in the bathroom. Cory, Cory comes in and I'm like eh.

• 1:00:19Speaker 02

You're not going to believe with the compliment she just gave me. It's like, that is you.

• 1:00:23Speaker 03

  You're in the mirror.

• 1:00:24Speaker 02

  Exactly. That's called an affirmation.

• 1:00:25Speaker 03

  Leave me alone.

• 1:00:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

See, you're already set up for affirmation ghost giver.

• 1:00:29Speaker 03

That's what I'm saying. I'm just doing it to myself. I'm prepping.

• 1:00:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 1:00:33Speaker 02

You know what's strange? And this is a pivot from.

• 1:00:35Speaker 03

  I'm gonna be a drunk.

• 1:00:36Speaker 02

  Everything we talked about.

• 1:00:36Speaker 03

  Wait a minute.

• 1:00:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  What?

• 1:00:37Speaker 03

That's what I want to do as a ghost. I want to be a drunk bathroom ghost. I'm gonna be a drunk girl in the bathroom. At every club, they're like, that's moaning Myrtle, but she just comes out and she's like eh.

• 1:00:48Speaker 02

Twerking Twila. Oh, all twerking Twila's in the bathroom.

• 1:00:53Speaker 03

  Twerking Twila.

• 1:00:55Speaker 03

Bathroom stalls, her stall, don't go in there. It's knocked off the hinges because her ass keeps.

• 1:01:01Speaker 03

She twirks every night with us.

• 1:01:03Speaker 02

She is off her fucking rocker. What's interesting is I didn't know we were going to bring up Emily during this episode. And I also didn't know that I was going to find a story where somebody was talking about giving offerings to their loved ones. But Emily really liked candy and she really liked gum. She had cerebral palsy and so her mouth would get really dry.

• 1:01:26Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:01:26Speaker 02

So she would chew gum to increase saliva in her mouth. And so they leave candy and gum at her headstone.

• 1:01:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That's really sweet. I really like that as a practice.

• 1:01:36Speaker 03

  I agree.

• 1:01:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I've never thought like, oh, I need to be buried at a cemetery. But if I am, people need to bring me offerings.

• 1:01:44Speaker 03

  I agree. Yes. That's all I want.

• 1:01:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'll stop scaring them as a ghost if they bring me offerings.

• 1:01:50Speaker 02

  If you just bring me.

• 1:01:51Speaker 03

And if you bring me the cheap shit, you're getting spooky.

• 1:01:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You're getting your little tozzies pulled at night.

• 1:01:59Speaker 02

What would you like? Would it be beer? Is that what you want people to bring you?

• 1:02:02Speaker 03

  Easy guess.

• 1:02:04Speaker 02

Full cans or crunched up, thrown at you like you're a trash can.

• 1:02:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

What kind of question is that?

• 1:02:11Speaker 03

  I'm not Oscar.

• 1:02:13Speaker 03

  Trashcan monster.

• 1:02:15Speaker 02

That's what they call him. Oscar the Grouch is known as Oscar the Trashcan Monster.

• 1:02:20Speaker 03

Think of the rest of his name.

• 1:02:23Speaker 03

No, I want you to pour some out for me. Put the whole thing. And then I want you to sit there and also get drunk. So that when you're at your drunkest, I can pop up. I've been here the whole time.

• 1:02:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I'm a fan of that.

• 1:02:34Speaker 02

Do you want to suck it through the ground or do you want them to leave one open for you?

• 1:02:38Speaker 03

If they gave me a straw.

• 1:02:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. I wonder though, like if you're a ghost and they pour it over your grave, are you like consuming just the beer? Are you consuming like dirty rock as well?

• 1:02:51Speaker 03

  Well, I mean.

• 1:02:52Speaker 02

What am I not consuming dirty rock?

• 1:02:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

True. Those traces of dirty rock have gone high.

• 1:02:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's a concern.

• 1:03:02Speaker 03

I don't know. Good question. Maybe they'll just leave me a can, but I want them to leave the whole, leave the whole pack. Open them all up.

• 1:03:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. Make it easier for you.

• 1:03:09Speaker 03

Yeah. Cause my thumbs don't work. Also, I don't open cans with my thumbs. So I don't know.

• 1:03:15Speaker 02

  Why I said that?

• 1:03:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Jerry, what would you want left at your grave?

• 1:03:18Speaker 02

  Um, money.

• 1:03:22Speaker 02

No. Throw quarters at me like I'm a fountain. That's what I want. No, I would really like pretty rocks. You can leave me pretty rocks.

• 1:03:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay.

• 1:03:32Speaker 02

Why? I don't know. I like to look.

• 1:03:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Do you have like a rock collection now?

• 1:03:36Speaker 02

Like, right outside my window is like a hill. It's, it's almost like a 90 degree like, uh, and I scale that hill sometimes to just look at the rocks and then I'll, I'll put them in my pockets and bring them down.

• 1:03:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay. I have a pitch for you. I think we bring back being buried in our own backyards and you get buried by the rocks.

• 1:03:55Speaker 03

  Yes, except for.

• 1:03:57Speaker 02

Just cover me in the stones. Don't even put me underground so that I can.

• 1:04:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You're literally one with.

• 1:04:01Speaker 02

  Look at all your rocks.

• 1:04:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 1:04:03Speaker 03

I don't know if I can bury anything in my backyard. There is an easement back there because there's a sewage pipe.

• 1:04:09Speaker 02

We'll put you in the sewage pipe. Just float me down. You know what I'm saying? I do.

• 1:04:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I mean, you'll become one with the sewage in some way.

• 1:04:18Speaker 02

Just pour some beer on me first and I'm taking a fucking ride. I'm already a piece of shit. Put me in there. What do you want them to leave you?

• 1:04:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Can I have two things? Can I have beer and pizza? Because I feel like they go together.

• 1:04:31Speaker 02

  That's a great idea.

• 1:04:32Speaker 03

  That is. That's really good.

• 1:04:34Speaker 02

And you know what? I'm gonna come. I'm gonna come.

• 1:04:38Speaker 02

  I'm gonna come.

• 1:04:39Speaker 03

You're coming to my grave. So I mean, I'm dying before you.

• 1:04:41Speaker 02

Just, I feel very horny after hearing what you want. That's what I'm at. I know, I'm not visiting you. I'm just getting very excited thinking about beer and pizza.

• 1:04:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So your nipples are hard again. You're welcome.

• 1:04:51Speaker 02

  Yep.

• 1:04:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 1:04:52Speaker 02

  Yep.

• 1:04:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, thank you both so much for coming to share ghost stories with us today.

• 1:04:57Speaker 03

Thanks for having us. Yeah, this was so fun.

• 1:04:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Thank you. And it was, yeah, it's always fun to spend time with you too. We'll have to do it again when Corinne is here.

• 1:05:05Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 1:05:06Speaker 02

So then there'll be four nipples that are hard instead of just two.

• 1:05:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

There'll be four hard nipples and four soft nipples. Yes.

• 1:05:13Speaker 02

  It'll be more balance.

• 1:05:14Speaker 03

  Real equal balance.

• 1:05:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, right now you were outnumbered by soft nipples.

• 1:05:18Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:05:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:19Speaker 02

You don't know how many nipples I have.

• 1:05:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So if a ghost is looking for hard nipples, they know where to go. Well, love you guys.

• 1:05:27Speaker 03

  Love you too.

• 1:05:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  We love you.

• 1:05:28Speaker 03

  Thank you.

• 1:05:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I wish I could like hug you physically. I miss you.

• 1:05:32Speaker 02

Get over here. Come on, get, get over.

• 1:05:33Speaker 03

  Going over here.

• 1:05:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You know what, like, it's one of those things where we were talking about the energy at your old house, Jerry, and it's like, it's a bummer that that happened so much with like, negative energy being left behind, but I want to come to your house and leave such positive energy, like, and hugs with both of you, that like, Brady wakes up and sees a girl hugging you in the middle of the night.

• 1:05:58Speaker 03

  That's what I want to.

• 1:05:59Speaker 02

And then, all of our nipples are hard again.

• 1:06:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And they were given ten spicy peppers.

• 1:06:06Speaker 02

  Hell, yeah.

• 1:06:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 1:06:07Speaker 02

I want everyone to leave in, in comments, wherever you hear this, leave what you want people to leave at your grave, and also, how hard your nipples are.

• 1:06:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. And also, does anyone have one hard nipple and one soft nipple, or we have Z's crew here?

• 1:06:22Speaker 03

When I used to have them pierced, that's how mine would go sometimes, to be honest. One would be a little tighter than the other, piercing wise, and it would get me a little, you know, where I needed to go.

• 1:06:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Is it bad that, like, I don't know when my nipples are hard unless, like, I look at them?

• 1:06:37Speaker 02

Um, I just know because, well, how did I know?

• 1:06:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Spidey sense?

• 1:06:41Speaker 02

  Someone scare me again.

• 1:06:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Tingly? Maybe you feel a tingle?

• 1:06:45Speaker 02

  Yeah, it is a tingle.

• 1:06:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hmm, okay.

• 1:06:47Speaker 03

It feels like when your arm falls asleep, but it's your nipples.

• 1:06:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That sounds painful.

• 1:06:53Speaker 02

  Well, or does it?

• 1:06:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

All right, well, let us know what your nipple status is. We will see you on the other side.
