• 4:14Speaker 03

  I'm thrilled to be back. It's a pleasure and a privilege. That's a mouthful.

• 4:18Speaker 05

I like that, though. It's a pleasure and a privilege. It's like my presence is a present.

• 4:24Speaker 03

Ooh, I love my presence is a present.

• 4:26Speaker 05

Yes. And your presence is a present.

• 4:28Speaker 03

And thank you. I love listening to you. You have the voice of an angel.

• 4:33Speaker 05

Oh, thank you. I think it's very grating.

• 4:36Speaker 03

Really? I think mine sounds like I had a cheese grater for breakfast.

• 4:40Speaker 05

Oh, no, it's soothing to me. Like, that rasp looks like ASMR.

• 4:44Speaker 03

  Ooh, okay.

• 4:45Speaker 05

Even when you just say like, "Thank you."

• 4:47Speaker 03

And you know what? There's a market for everything, right? You want feet pics, some people want the painted toes, some people want the ones unpainted and calloused, so.

• 4:53Speaker 05

They want you dancing in bricks.

• 4:55Speaker 03

  That's exactly...

• 4:56Speaker 05

  Stepping on bananas.

• 4:57Speaker 03

I can do one better for you.

• 5:00Speaker 05

Well, we start this show now by asking you your expert scam opinion. I'm gonna ask you about three different little things, and I wanna know each one. Is it a scam, in your opinion? Is it a scheme? Or is it a real thing?

• 5:15Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 5:15Speaker 05

Yes. So the first one is auto suggested passwords.

• 5:23Speaker 03

  You know what? I...

• 5:25Speaker 05

And if you don't know what an auto suggested password is, not Hannah, she knows. She's thinking. It's when you enter a new website or whatever, and if you have an iPhone, I don't know what they be doing in the green text business. I'm a part of the cult with the blue text, even though I think Androids might be a superior phone. But...

• 5:41Speaker 03

  Whoa.

• 5:42Speaker 05

I know, but at the same time, I will bully you into getting rid of it. Like, I will. What is it about that green? The whole cast, we bullied Nathan Cresson to getting an iPhone, 'cause we're like, "You're ruining the group chats. We will kill you."

• 5:53Speaker 03

It is so jarring to get that green.

• 5:55Speaker 05

'Cause they made it a doo-doo baby green, like a baby doo-doo green. What are we supposed to do?

• 5:59Speaker 03

Right. It's like a slime, a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award slime.

• 6:02Speaker 05

The slime is brighter green, okay? That's like a chartreuse. Okay, it's giving.

• 6:06Speaker 03

And a chartreuse is another thing.

• 6:08Speaker 05

Yes. This is a doo-doo green, where it's like, your brain is like, "This nasty, why is this nasty person hitting my phone with a nasty mess?" Which is them doing that to us. Like, iPhone did that on purpose. It was one of the smartest marketing techniques.

• 6:19Speaker 03

  The blue?

• 6:19Speaker 05

But, yeah, the blue versus the green. The ocean blue versus the doo-doo greens. And they made it to the ring. Cause we don't show up no color on their phones, but I don't know if y'all have it, but like when you enter a new website and you have a new passcode, there will be like an auto suggested passcode that's like, this is stronger, A1759723Z151. Eight six seven five three oh nine. It's crazy. Two A1 three three oh A zero zero four. Cars for kids. Yes. And they're like, do you want this password? It's safer. Or do you want to think of something you can remember with your dumb ass? Right. So what do you think? I'm going to make it 2025.

• 6:56Speaker 05

I think it's a scheme. I don't think it's a scam. And I, I think it's a scheme in that if you, if you're, uh, what's it called duped and you do, follow that password, I believe that it is stored and you've given yourself over to them. They win, right? Yeah. I don't think they're trying to steal your info. I think they're trying to make it harder on you, but I do think every time you reset, that's good for them in some way. Yeah. I don't know why, but maybe, but maybe every time you have a captcha page that you have to get through, they get a point or something. Which is also crazy because you're a robot captcha and you're trying to ask me if I'm a robot. Right. And you're like, sorry, like which of these. Like bitch, you're the robot and you're trying to be like, are you real? Right. Are you real?

• 7:37Speaker 05

But captcha's gotten so vague. It's like, which of these boats is nice? I'm like, I don't know. That's subjective. Literally. It used to be like, is this a crosswalk? And then sometimes that was like, I don't know. They'd be like, they jaywalking still a crosswalk in their mind. That was like, you, but you fucking with my mind here. Everything's a crosswalk. Right. What do you mean? It's so crazy. It used to be like, show all the bridges. And I would be like, okay, that makes sense. And they're like, no, bitch, that was a hill over water. No. That's a troll that you have to answer three riddles to, bitch. That's, that's our bridge troll is literally captcha. They go, sorry, that's the one with the bridge troll. That one doesn't count. At least if captcha called themselves bridge trolls.

• 8:16Laci Mosley?

It would be more whimsical and I would be more down to do it.

• 8:19Speaker 05

We love, we famously love a whimsy moment.

• 8:23Speaker 05

  Make capture whimsy.

• 8:24Laci Mosley?

We both look very whimsical right now.

• 8:26Speaker 05

We do, I was admiring your look.

• 8:28Laci Mosley?

Floral, you're giving me like these gorgeous little like hot girl tattoos. That's what I call hot girl tattoos.

• 8:36Speaker 05

Oh, is it a bee? Or is it a jar?

• 8:38Laci Mosley?

  What does it mean?

• 8:40Speaker 05

I'll never tell, but I'll tell you at length.

• 8:44Speaker 05

I have an open book. No, I love whimsy. Honestly, it's all burning to the ground. We gotta be whimsifying.

• 8:49Laci Mosley?

We gotta be whimsifying. I like, I, if anybody's doing something goofy, as long as they're not bothering anybody, I am fully in support. And there was a time where I would judge, and look, I know the younger little people like to be like, oh, that's cringe or whatever. But I'm like, baby, once you survive what we've survived, um, then you will understand you need some whimsy. Okay, yeah, they sold a credit card, like magic wand where you could stick your credit card in it and then tap it. And for Disney adult, for anybody, somebody posted on TikTok, it was like, my boyfriend took me out shopping speed and gave me his wand with a credit card in it. I would just tap on it and I was like, ah, why not?

• 9:25Speaker 05

You know what? Follow your bliss.

• 9:26Laci Mosley?

Follow your bliss. So if you're not bothering nobody.

• 9:29Speaker 05

Absolutely. My, I went to my friend's birthday and they had a psychic, which I think is, um, is a choice, right? Because.

• 9:36Laci Mosley?

I've done it at a birthday party.

• 9:38Speaker 05

But don't you think that's a questionable choice in that they might not say something you want to hear and it might be your birthday?

• 9:43Laci Mosley?

It's enter, it's your own risk with the psychic.

• 9:46Speaker 05

  Absolutely at your own risk.

• 9:47Laci Mosley?

And I've had excellent psychics and like they in the corner. And I had a couples who were bold enough to like go with each other to the psychic. I was like, y'all crazy.

• 9:53Speaker 05

And they're like, I'm seeing the death card, death card, death card, death card.

• 9:58Speaker 05

You guys are thriving for now.

• 10:02Speaker 05

Um, mine, but mine was like, I'm sensing a lot of millennial trauma. Like that tracks.

• 10:07Laci Mosley?

Girl, that sound like a scamper to me.

• 10:10Speaker 05

Let's get them out of here.

• 10:11Laci Mosley?

Cause what do you mean she looked at you and was like, I'm sensing a lot of millennial trauma. You could do that to any millennial.

• 10:16Speaker 05

I'm like, yeah, sorry. I don't know how to contour. Fine.

• 10:20Laci Mosley?

Gen Z, Gen Alpha, you could do it to all of us. Like we all.

• 10:22Speaker 05

Sensing a lot, it's like, sorry, we're actually all traumatized.

• 10:26Laci Mosley?

  Yeah, I'm sensing.

• 10:26Speaker 05

  That comes with the territory.

• 10:28Laci Mosley?

  Impending doom, glass half empty.

• 10:32Speaker 05

I'm sensing like your rights might be revoked at some point. I don't know. Anyway, we digress.

• 10:39Laci Mosley?

Yes, I agree with you. It's a scheme. And then I will say that if you do use auto-fill passwords, and then obviously you're saving that auto-fill password to your phone, making you more dependent on your phone. They carry some moderate security risks, like malware exploitation, meaning like stealers can come in and they can pull saved credentials from like borrowing the storage off of your phone. Also like auto-spill slash invisible forms. So hackers can create fake forms to trick browser extensions into filling in data that is not really proponent, or like it doesn't really pertain to what you're trying to purchase or what you're trying to fill out. The hackers are like, "We in here too. Like, go ahead and just fill out this form." And it's also device access. If someone has access to your unlocked computer slash phone,

• 11:24Laci Mosley?

they have access to all of your accounts. So once they, if they can get that special, you know, 8675309, then now they have access to maybe more things, depending on how much you put in one password. Which is why I always say, I said it back in the day in a Carl's Hard episode, that was years ago, but if you're new, you should have a goofy password and a serious password. I know we can't remember more than one or two. But have a goofy password, that's what you use for, uh, serious things. And they have a serious password for your bank and things like that, and never mix the two.

• 11:54Speaker 05

And so, I would love an example of what you mean, because I think that's quite subjective. In the eye of the beholder, some would say.

• 12:01Laci Mosley?

It feels like you're scamming me talking about, say, a goofy password of yours.

• 12:05Speaker 05

  Say riddles, I'm under a riddle, I don't know what I'm speaking.

• 12:07Laci Mosley?

Say a goofy password of yours, just for reference.

• 12:10Speaker 05

Like, uh, you know, porridge. Porridge69, you know, it's something stupid. Millennial trauma, eh. And it's eh, that's part of it.

• 12:22Laci Mosley?

R.I.P. my grandma, she got hit by a bazooka.

• 12:27Speaker 05

And then a serious one's like, "It's all burning to the ground."

• 12:30Laci Mosley?

Right. The serious was like, because we all just love to use like loved one stuff, and you know, birthdays and things like that. Dogs, favorite first mom's car type shit.

• 12:40Speaker 05

Right, so honestly, serious is more earnest, right?

• 12:43Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 12:44Speaker 05

And silly is like, you know, auto-generated, random word.

• 12:47Laci Mosley?

And maybe we should flip that. Maybe the earnest password should be on a goofy-ass website, like Zafora.com. But then maybe your bank password should be something like, "Booty liquor five." Like, nobody's going on Wells Fargo and being like, "Booty liquor five, capital B."

• 13:02Speaker 05

I'm doing that for my wrath, I already.

• 13:04Laci Mosley?

One of the Os in booty liquor is a zero.

• 13:07Speaker 05

  I love, I love a zero O.

• 13:09Laci Mosley?

  Yes.

• 13:09Speaker 05

  It's very calculator boobless.

• 13:11Laci Mosley?

Booty liquor five, and then five instead of the I am five, because you spell out five like a word.

• 13:16Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 13:16Laci Mosley?

The five is an exclamation mark.

• 13:18Speaker 05

  Absolutely.

• 13:19Laci Mosley?

You got an uppercase, a lowercase.

• 13:22Speaker 05

  A zero is zero.

• 13:23Laci Mosley?

And a, and a, a character, special character.

• 13:25Speaker 05

Well, now you're becoming the computer, because that's a lot to remember.

• 13:29Laci Mosley?

Booty liquor five is not that hard.

• 13:30Speaker 05

You're like booty liquor five, but the B on Wednesday is capitalized. There's two zeros.

• 13:35Laci Mosley?

  Capital B, zero, regular O, T T Y, F, and then exclamation point, V E. Booty liquor five.

• 13:47Speaker 05

E H H E, exclamation point, ellipses. Is that okay? Because it's a millennial. Is that okay? No worries if not.

• 13:56Laci Mosley?

You made it apple now. You put it in the eh, and the da, da, da. I'm not gonna remember that, but booty liquor five, I can remember. And now I can access my bank account. You know what I mean?

• 14:04Speaker 05

Well, now, no one checked Lacey's account since.

• 14:08Laci Mosley?

When I file my taxes, it's like, yes, IRS.gov, booty liquor five is here to contribute.

• 14:14Speaker 05

Do they, they're giggling if they see that? They're like, oh, she's got a sense of humor. We need that around here.

• 14:21Laci Mosley?

And, and, yeah, I think that's better. Uh, so, yeah, y'all, take my advice. Booty liquor five, okay? You can change it to whatever you want, but I think that's a good one. So, um, next, scam schemer real thing. Trader Joe's tote bags. And Jess, will you pull up resale of Trader Joe's tote bags real quick? Well, so while we talk, Hannah, Trader Joe's tote bags. Have you seen one?

• 14:43Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 14:44Laci Mosley?

Have you felt one in your hands?

• 14:45Speaker 05

Well, they're coveted, right? Every Trader Joe's I go to, they're out of stock. People wait in line for these things, like sneakers on Melrose Avenue.

• 14:52Laci Mosley?

  They're fighting for them.

• 14:54Speaker 05

They're fighting for them. I mean, they're gorgeous. And we've got a pastel moment.

• 14:57Laci Mosley?

But it's a tote bag. And now, listen, I know I'm talking to the podcast, okay, Hannah, you agree with, with the podcast community. Y'all know I got y'all some good tote bags. If you come to San Francisco, you know I got the good tote bags for y'all. If you come to Dallas, and anywhere, you know I got a good tote bags. But for, but these, like, it's pastel, it's Trader Joe's, but for some reason, they're a phenomenon. Now, where you can now go to Trader Joe's, get that hoe for like $3.99 and resell it. So now people are in Trader Joe's like punching the other like, you know.

• 15:26Speaker 05

  Like it's Black Friday.

• 15:27Laci Mosley?

Yeah, like Black Friday. It's not even Black Friday no more. People used to die in the Black Friday wars, which is terrible.

• 15:34Speaker 05

It's horrible. My thing is like, you can do it online now. So I actually think people that do that in person want to fight. I think they're like, it's the purge and I wanna deck a bitch. Cause I could go online and order that on Walmart.com. But you know what? I wanna body check someone.

• 15:51Laci Mosley?

They just had to deal with their fucking family. Like either they went to their in-laws' house and you know they hate their fucking stank ass uncles. Or their mama always criticizing them. Or they still single and they mad. Like whatever it is, whatever happened to you on Thanksgiving, you knew you could take out on Black Friday. That's Black somebody, I Friday.

• 16:10Speaker 05

You order your first, Lacy's promoting, killing someone on Black Friday.

• 16:15Laci Mosley?

  No.

• 16:15Speaker 05

  If you want.

• 16:16Laci Mosley?

  No.

• 16:16Speaker 05

If you have family trauma, anything goes baby.

• 16:20Laci Mosley?

Everybody on Black Friday got family trauma, but it used to be cathartic. Because it used to be something worth fighting for. I, you know, it used to be a 60 inch, a 70 inch, and it would be like $60. And it's like, yes, this is worth a scrap in the aisle.

• 16:36Speaker 05

This is worth bleeding a little, you know? Yeah.

• 16:38Laci Mosley?

And you come home, you lick your wounds and you got it all out.

• 16:42Speaker 05

Yeah, and you have like a 600 square foot apartment, but an 80 foot TV.

• 16:47Laci Mosley?

But you know what? That's progress.

• 16:49Speaker 05

  That's progress.

• 16:50Laci Mosley?

It covers your whole wall and a little bit of the door to your bathroom.

• 16:53Speaker 05

That's power. Yep. You can't close your door, but that's fine.

• 16:57Laci Mosley?

  Because you have the memories.

• 16:59Speaker 05

You can watch Judge Judy real big.

• 17:00Laci Mosley?

Every time you look at that TV, you remember how you knocked at least two people's teeth out to get it. Okay? And then you had to strap it to the roof of your Prius and drive it home real slow.

• 17:11Speaker 05

And you know the person whose teeth were decked out is like Oz Fair and Lovemore.

• 17:14Laci Mosley?

It is. They also love it. Some people come to Black Friday to get hit.

• 17:17Speaker 05

That's because they also wanna feel something after the trauma of Thanksgiving.

• 17:21Laci Mosley?

And everything was so pent up and very like waspy that they were like, I don't know, somebody punched me in the face. I can feel things.

• 17:28Speaker 05

It's also like people in succession. It's the ultra wealthy that just want to feel something.

• 17:31Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 17:32Speaker 05

  You have the cucks.

• 17:33Laci Mosley?

Yeah, so there's Black Friday cucks and then there's like Black Friday fighters.

• 17:36Speaker 05

Sure. Let's make that video game. It's Grand Theft Auto, but it's Black Friday.

• 17:42Laci Mosley?

Because then you go in the parking lot and it's like, who are you gonna mow over with a shopping cart? Though you get points for that. You get points for that, okay? We love that. So we're looking at these Trader Joe's tote bags. Right. And today we're only gonna do two scam scheme real things because we need to get to historic hoodwinkings. And you honestly have given me so much head. Like, Black Friday, I'm gonna say, it's a scam now, but it used to be a real thing. It used to be a real thing where you would fight, get bloody, and you would get money. Or, or like whatever you wanted. Or get punched in the face. Everybody got what they wanted when they went on Black Friday, right?

• 18:13Speaker 05

  Absolutely.

• 18:14Laci Mosley?

You gotta work out too. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But now, now it's a scam. Because now they don't give discounts. Sometimes they up the price. Like, people aren't really flooding the stores anymore like they used to. Online shopping, they're not even giving online discounts like they used to.

• 18:26Speaker 05

I know. Or it's like eight hours. You're like, oh, refresh, missed it.

• 18:30Laci Mosley?

It used to be Cyber Monday. Now, now, we used to have two days to look forward to.

• 18:34Speaker 05

Now it's Cyber Scam, now it's Steal Your Identity Monday.

• 18:37Laci Mosley?

Yeah. We're gonna get your identity and we're not gonna give you a discount on Monday. But on Friday, we're gonna charge you more and you're not gonna get that fight that you wanted. It's all a scam now, but it used to be a real thing.

• 18:47Speaker 05

So can you explain this to me though?

• 18:49Laci Mosley?

The Trader Joe's phenomenon with the totes. They've become so interesting and such a thing now.

• 18:53Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 18:53Laci Mosley?

That people collect them. They're like the new Stanley Cup. There was a time where everyone wanted that cup in every color and they were kind of overpriced. Trader Joe's actually charges a reasonable price for them. And it's like not more than $5.

• 19:07Speaker 05

  Right.

• 19:07Laci Mosley?

But people come in, this is their new Black Friday, right? So they're boxing for them. And then they're reselling them online. And right now, we're looking at a large Trader Joe's limited edition canvas tote. We will put this on the Instagram. It's in a lavender with the Trader Joe's. And this bag is on eBay for $3,000 right now.

• 19:26Speaker 05

With a 4.5 star review, I might add.

• 19:28Laci Mosley?

  Right, with 64 reviews.

• 19:30Speaker 05

Yeah. I love my $3,000 tote, wouldn't you believe it?

• 19:34Laci Mosley?

People in other countries apparently covet these. Back.

• 19:37Speaker 05

  Wow.

• 19:37Laci Mosley?

And so they can't buy them anywhere but here. So they, so they're, you know, our Americans are going out and selling them. And then you have limited edition 2026 pastel Trader Joe's mini totes, a set of four for a hundred thousand dollars on eBay.

• 19:53Speaker 05

  With also sixty-four reviews.

• 19:55Laci Mosley?

Which is why, you know, you can fake inflate reviews.

• 19:59Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 19:59Laci Mosley?

  So.

• 20:00Speaker 05

  Sure, that's true, that's a scam.

• 20:01Laci Mosley?

But also, there is a flex to paying a hundred thousand dollars for a tote bag from Trader Joe's. And here's why. The flex of anything that's expensive is is that it never costs as much to make it and have raw materials is what you're paying for it.

• 20:14Speaker 05

  Absolutely.

• 20:15Laci Mosley?

  Like.

• 20:15Speaker 05

Marking up a bottle of wine at a restaurant.

• 20:17Laci Mosley?

Marking up a bottle of wine in a restaurant, watches, anything that's a luxury good. A lot of times.

• 20:22Speaker 05

Louis Vuitton, all those, that luggage, that era.

• 20:24Laci Mosley?

And a lot of the same luxury purses are made in the same factories as the dupes, the bootlegs and other things. And like, even when it comes to like shoes, like sometimes people have contracts with expensive shoe companies.

• 20:36Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 20:36Laci Mosley?

And once that contract leaves, they still have the blueprint to make those shoes. So then they just start making them still, but bootlegging them. Same looking shoes, same quality.

• 20:46Speaker 05

Well, that's the crazy thing. If you get an, you know, an off-brand purse, but it's still beautifully threaded and manufactured and made, the frustrating thing is they work just as hard and now they're gonna get half the money. Did you see Balenciaga sneakers where they're like put flash fried in an oven? They look like sneakers from more of the worlds. Which you guys should show that as well. Let's roll it up. It's, it's almost a grand. Oh, it's selling destroyed sneakers for eighteen fifty. That's on the right.

• 21:12Laci Mosley?

Yes. Look at this destroyed Balenciaga sneaker. And it's like.

• 21:15Speaker 05

It's like my dog got into it.

• 21:17Laci Mosley?

That's the culture of like rich culture.

• 21:20Speaker 05

  A hundred percent, cosplay.

• 21:21Laci Mosley?

Rich people used to do gaudy, rich cult, like fashion.

• 21:24Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 21:24Laci Mosley?

Where they would wear the Gucci logo, they would wear the prints. And then once that became accessible to people in the middle, upper middle class, or even, you know, people who were poor, but they would save up for the one beautiful piece that they wanted. They were like too accessible. Now we gotta do quiet luxury, six thousand dollar cotton t-shirt.

• 21:40Speaker 05

Quiet luxury, that's ding ding ding.

• 21:42Laci Mosley?

Or we gotta do marketing like something like looking all bust. It up, but you knowing if you know that it's really so expensive.

• 21:50Speaker 05

  Quiet.

• 21:50Laci Mosley?

  It's all a mind game.

• 21:51Speaker 05

It's all, oh my God. I mean, the most expensive stores you go in, it's a completely empty warehouse.

• 21:56Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 21:56Speaker 05

There's one coat hanger and there's three shirts.

• 22:00Laci Mosley?

  Yes.

• 22:00Speaker 05

  And that's all.

• 22:01Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 22:02Speaker 05

And, and each is a thousand dollars and it's a white T-shirt.

• 22:05Laci Mosley?

I love the scam a little bit. I go to the Webster and, and the only thing that makes me proud of going there is that there are like three things on the hanger. And if you find it in your size, you know that nobody else is really going to have it when you go there because they only have one size.

• 22:18Speaker 05

  Right. It's just the one.

• 22:19Laci Mosley?

  And that's like the rack.

• 22:20Speaker 05

  It's a purse or a belt.

• 22:21Laci Mosley?

And that's like the rack for like medium class because like if you are super rich, you just go get the thing made custom. Or you like the girls bring it to your house and you shop from your home. But I'm like looking through the rack like, isn't it gonna be in my size? This one thing that they have.

• 22:37Speaker 05

  Totally.

• 22:38Laci Mosley?

Fingers crossed. And then you feel like you won the lottery when it fits.

• 22:41Speaker 05

And you know what? There is something to be said for, and this is gross, but the flex of like, I can go and reward myself and my hard work with this thing. That being said, it is what like Balenciaga also had an Air One purse, Air One tote that was tote material and hundreds of dollars.

• 22:58Laci Mosley?

Loves the cosplay port. Like that's why them shoes coming up like that's, it makes so much sense.

• 23:02Speaker 05

But the Trader Joe's of it all, I need to understand because it's not even like Trader Joe's food or even produce.

• 23:07Laci Mosley?

International of it all where like you don't have Trader Joe's in other places.

• 23:10Speaker 05

  Right.

• 23:11Laci Mosley?

And so it's like you snagging up something that you can't get nowhere else. Like exclusivity is a lot of the reason that purchasing power is driving these like markets where things are significantly highly priced.

• 23:22Speaker 05

  The speakeasy of, of products.

• 23:23Laci Mosley?

  You can't get this.

• 23:28Laci Mosley?

• 24:29Laci Mosley?

Today in our historic hoodwink, which is my favorite segment of the show, we're going to be talking about a person who, in a stone cold stunning move, they stole almost $3 million in tuition money to use on things like tickets to pro wrestling. Now, mind you, this person was a director of a Brooklyn daycare, where the staff are only allowed to speak German. If that's not giving Brooklyn rich, like, come on.

• 24:59Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 25:00Laci Mosley?

And also, like, this is, this is what we're going to be talking about. Her name is Marielle Miesak. Now, Marielle already had a scam going because she was running a daycare in Brooklyn, which you know these are gentrifiers who done moved in somewhere. And it's a daycare where you can only speak German. That's not even like the fanciest of the languages to teach. No shade to Alvi der Zane, no, no shade to the Germans.

• 25:26Speaker 05

I'm Dutch and it's not the sexiest language. They're adjacent, you know?

• 25:30Laci Mosley?

Oh, you know, I do going Dutch, so.

• 25:32Speaker 05

I know, and you know Kristin Johnston.

• 25:34Laci Mosley?

  I fucking love Kristin Johnston.

• 25:36Speaker 05

  Love her so much.

• 25:38Laci Mosley?

  Baddest in the business.

• 25:39Speaker 05

  Truly life changing.

• 25:40Laci Mosley?

  And cool as hell, like.

• 25:41Speaker 05

Cool as hell, yeah, can do it all.

• 25:42Laci Mosley?

Love that woman, real bad, real bad.

• 25:44Speaker 05

But you know the Dutch accent?

• 25:45Laci Mosley?

Yeah, yeah, the Dutch in the, yes.

• 25:47Speaker 05

Even though you film in Ireland, right?

• 25:48Laci Mosley?

Yeah, yes, we do, that's our scam. But I did go to Amsterdam right after we filmed, just to get, and I was like, loved it, I was such nerding out because we got so much of it right, just like the cheese wheels and the tulips and the, you know, like, who had it?

• 26:02Speaker 05

But the thing about Dutch is you have all these like extremely hot men and then they're like, you better not do stuff like that.

• 26:07Laci Mosley?

Yeah, but they're like a little goofy schmoofy when they open their mouth. They look goofy. But I love that for them. I also just love the lackadaisical spirit of Amsterdam. They just be doing anything.

• 26:16Speaker 05

  I know.

• 26:16Laci Mosley?

They're very whimsical. That makes so much sense that you, yes.

• 26:19Speaker 05

Yeah, I just, I'm meant to live under a bridge in Amsterdam and be a gnome. That's sort of like.

• 26:24Laci Mosley?

But you're too tall to be a gnome.

• 26:25Speaker 05

I'm too tall to be a gnome. I'm a life-size gnome. Yes, yeah. But I'm, I'm a gnome in Dutch standards because everyone's like six, five and over.

• 26:32Laci Mosley?

  Yeah, they are.

• 26:33Speaker 05

My husband's five, six and we went to Holland and we were trying to rent bikes and they tried to get a bike and the guy went, uh, we don't have a bike for someone who's five, six.

• 26:42Laci Mosley?

For your leg, your leg. You have more leg? Get more leg, come back.

• 26:46Speaker 05

Sorry, just, uh, no. So we just walked around.

• 26:49Laci Mosley?

Oh, no. There's, wait, that's bullshit because there's so many bikes in Amsterdam, like too many bikes.

• 26:54Speaker 05

  And there's X-Fads.

• 26:55Laci Mosley?

  They couldn't find one.

• 26:56Speaker 05

Right. You couldn't lower the, lower the handle? You couldn't lower the seat?

• 27:00Laci Mosley?

They could have lowered the seat and they kept the handle up and he could have been like the saw guy, like doing a little, do a little jigsaw. Like damn, they had to do your man like that. They had to do your baby like that.

• 27:08Speaker 05

It's fucked up. It's fucked up.

• 27:10Laci Mosley?

But like we got Muriel Muzak, right? And so we have a photo of Muriel that we're gonna look at. So Muriel got on her essentials, which is a little bream. She got her top knot and it looks like she's on the beach on a cold day.

• 27:24Speaker 05

Maybe a hoop, a small hoop.

• 27:26Laci Mosley?

Yeah, a small hoop to keep it classy because she's classy. She's a classy lady.

• 27:29Speaker 05

  Day to night.

• 27:30Laci Mosley?

  She's forty-three years old and honestly, she's a, that's a good-looking white forty-three.

• 27:34Speaker 05

I was gonna say, glowy skin, you know.

• 27:36Laci Mosley?

  Yeah, glowy skin, cherubie cheeks.

• 27:39Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 27:39Laci Mosley?

Like that money was really money.

• 27:41Speaker 05

  There's some collagen being used.

• 27:42Laci Mosley?

  Oh, yes.

• 27:42Speaker 05

  Yeah, some serums.

• 27:44Laci Mosley?

Some serums for sure. She's got a nighttime routine and a daytime routine.

• 27:46Speaker 05

Yeah, she's using, using night oil and day oil, maybe a little retinol.

• 27:50Laci Mosley?

She might have a spritz after lunch, just like a little rose spray.

• 27:53Speaker 05

Oh, I was gonna say in an Aperol spritz.

• 27:55Laci Mosley?

  And an Aperol spritz.

• 27:56Speaker 05

  She's having a spritz and a spritz.

• 27:57Laci Mosley?

A spritz and a spritz and I love that for her. So she was arrested and indicted on money laundering and wire fraud. And then she was also arrested and indicted on money laundering and wire fraud charges for possibly stealing children's tuition payments from a private daycare and preschool in Park Slope. We knew it was gonna be Park Slope.

• 28:17Speaker 05

  Of course.

• 28:19Laci Mosley?

Called, I love that you're a New Yorker, helps even worry enough, called Kinder House. Kinder House.

• 28:24Speaker 05

  Kinder House?

• 28:25Laci Mosley?

  Kinder House. Okay, Kinder House.

• 28:29Speaker 05

  That's the.

• 28:29Laci Mosley?

And it's, and it looks like a house.

• 28:31Speaker 05

  It's like a beautiful brownstone.

• 28:32Laci Mosley?

But they're like, bring your Kinder into our house.

• 28:34Speaker 05

  Well, Kinder, Kinder chocolate.

• 28:36Laci Mosley?

  Yeah, Kinder chocolate.

• 28:37Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 28:37Laci Mosley?

  Yes. So the German.

• 28:39Speaker 05

The tuition's a lot of chocolate. You're just paying in chocolate coins.

• 28:43Laci Mosley?

No, that's what, that's what your kids go home with, but you're paying real coins, okay? They want the real coins.

• 28:47Speaker 05

These tuitions are crazy out here. My, my nephew, my, they're trying to find a preschool for him, and it is like a college tuition.

• 28:54Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 28:54Speaker 05

And you gotta sign up two years early.

• 28:56Laci Mosley?

  Apply while you're pregnant.

• 28:56Speaker 05

Yes, I, she's like, I can't believe I applied so late, two years before. I'm like, what?

• 29:01Laci Mosley?

Yeah. You, you honestly like, as soon as y'all finish coitus, you need to get on the website. You know what I mean? You hold your legs up in the air for the insemination, and you also need to be on the website while you're doing that.

• 29:14Speaker 05

So you're saying not even when you're pregnant, when you're trying and confident it might have took?

• 29:18Laci Mosley?

Like, Bay is going to get a hot towel. If you're doing IVF, they just did the, the procedure. Before you leave the doctor's office, you need to be signing up.

• 29:27Speaker 05

Yes, or at least writing your personal essay for why your kid, your hypothetical kid's better.

• 29:32Laci Mosley?

Yeah. Honestly, you could do that beforehand. You might just have to make some predictions about how your kid is cool, and then teach him what you said later.

• 29:39Speaker 05

  Right.

• 29:39Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 29:40Speaker 05

My kid is not haunted. My kid will not spook you at a house. My kid.

• 29:44Laci Mosley?

I feel if you lead with not haunted, we're gonna think your kid is haunted.

• 29:47Speaker 05

Let's just start off by saying my kid will not haunt you or draw scary things at school.

• 29:50Laci Mosley?

I don't know. That's giving, they will. It's giving, they, it's giving well and equal is gonna come up out the well in the TV.

• 29:56Speaker 05

My kid will not be spooky. And have hair in front of their face that I don't trim. My kid will not live in a well. Let's just start by saying that.

• 30:04Laci Mosley?

And come out on TV after seven days. Okay, my kid is named Well and Equal.

• 30:09Speaker 05

But in your defense, don't watch this movie.

• 30:10Laci Mosley?

They're not coming out of the well. Just don't watch that movie. So, the German language immersion school takes care of around a hundred children. Most, most of them with ties to Switzerland and Germany. I love this niche because the girlies love a French school. Everybody wants a little croissant kid.

• 30:28Speaker 05

And the little Emily in Paris, only they're actually speaking the language.

• 30:31Laci Mosley?

I know so many baguette babies. I'm not even kidding.

• 30:33Speaker 05

  Baguette baby.

• 30:34Laci Mosley?

Yeah, that go to French schools.

• 30:35Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 30:36Laci Mosley?

  Like, that's a.

• 30:37Speaker 05

  Posh.

• 30:37Laci Mosley?

  It's very chouchouche.

• 30:38Speaker 05

  Very gossip girl.

• 30:40Laci Mosley?

Very gossip, yes, oui oui. J'apelle baby.

• 30:43Speaker 05

  Probably little ties.

• 30:44Laci Mosley?

  Mm-hmm.

• 30:45Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 30:45Laci Mosley?

  Little Madalines running around everywhere.

• 30:47Speaker 05

They're all dressed like the little kissing Dutch people.

• 30:50Laci Mosley?

  Yes.

• 30:50Speaker 05

  Cute little hats, little.

• 30:51Laci Mosley?

But like, I feel like Switzerland and Germany is such a nice niche for a scam because, yes, that lineage is gonna be in Park Slope and a lot of Jer- in Brooklyn as well. But also now you're targeting a bunch of specific people.

• 31:04Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 31:04Laci Mosley?

Who already have a need, right?

• 31:07Speaker 05

  Right, right.

• 31:08Laci Mosley?

Cause this feels elevated. If we were like, oh, I take my kid to a French school, we're like, French, French school everywhere. Like, oh, you know, like my kids.

• 31:16Speaker 05

  Park Slope.

• 31:17Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 31:17Speaker 05

  Specific.

• 31:18Laci Mosley?

But to be like, oh, they're speaking German. It's like, why do they need that here?

• 31:22Speaker 05

Okay, so Swiss German, I wonder about too, if there's Swiss people there as well, which is a very specific, there's like different Swiss.

• 31:28Laci Mosley?

  Very specific Caucasian.

• 31:30Speaker 05

  Absolutely.

• 31:31Laci Mosley?

  It's giving very.

• 31:32Speaker 05

It's giving like, you know, Nicole Kidman in The Undoing with a very long coat. All these people have very long cashmere coats when they're dropping off their kids. They ski, of course.

• 31:42Laci Mosley?

  Of course.

• 31:43Speaker 05

  They're summering in, in Telluride.

• 31:45Laci Mosley?

Their nannies drop off their kids.

• 31:47Speaker 05

  Absolute, they've never been there.

• 31:48Laci Mosley?

On pickup, they do go sometimes because they have to do white lady shenanigans.

• 31:53Speaker 05

Well, because they're gonna be confirming the gala.

• 31:55Laci Mosley?

Yes, they have to confirm the gala. They also have to prove that they don't work. So when the nanny in the morning is, cause like they have rich ladies stuff to do in sleep. But in the afternoon, you have to go.

• 32:06Speaker 05

  They go, come to mommy.

• 32:07Laci Mosley?

And be like, oh, did you sign up for the big sale? What are you bringing this year? Oh, are you coming to the gala?

• 32:12Speaker 05

  I'll be there.

• 32:12Laci Mosley?

Oh, my gosh, just left my massage, was almost late. You gotta show your face a little bit.

• 32:17Speaker 05

  And what I love about.

• 32:18Laci Mosley?

Not in the morning, that's, you work too hard in the morning.

• 32:20Speaker 05

Private school philanthropy is like, I will donate, but only if I get to wear a hot dress.

• 32:24Laci Mosley?

  Right. And also.

• 32:26Speaker 05

You don't get my money unless I have prosecco.

• 32:28Laci Mosley?

Are you auctioning off a dinner with Chef, you know, Gordon?

• 32:34Speaker 05

  Yeah, the chef Gaudon.

• 32:36Laci Mosley?

  Gaudon.

• 32:36Speaker 05

Yes, I could afford it, but I'd love to.

• 32:38Laci Mosley?

I need someone fancier. I was gonna say Anthony Portain, but he's gone. He also would have never done that in his life.

• 32:42Speaker 05

I'm truly like, name one famous chef. Couldn't be me.

• 32:44Laci Mosley?

  Chef, no, chef Bobby Flay.

• 32:47Speaker 05

  Chef Sushi Stop.

• 32:50Speaker 05

  Chef Boyardee.

• 32:52Laci Mosley?

  Oh, Brocardi.

• 32:53Speaker 05

Never ending pasta bowl, Olive Garden.

• 32:58Speaker 05

  Anything is pasta bowl.

• 32:59Laci Mosley?

  Albees. Do you love zermits?

• 33:03Speaker 05

  I love albees.

• 33:04Laci Mosley?

I love zermits. I love zermits.

• 33:07Speaker 05

  Hos radisch.

• 33:07Laci Mosley?

So Muriel directed parents to pay into unapproved PayPal accounts. She controlled and then transferred the money to her own account and deleted the evidence.

• 33:20Speaker 05

  Wow.

• 33:20Laci Mosley?

So she was like, send the money here, y'all. It's Muriel, you know, Albi der Zane, PayPal. And then she deleted the evidence. So they, they just paying money to whoever. They pay for status.

• 33:30Speaker 05

So what do you mean deleted the evidence? What, like?

• 33:32Laci Mosley?

So she directed parents to pay into unapproved PayPal accounts claiming that she was representing the school.

• 33:37Speaker 05

  I see.

• 33:38Laci Mosley?

And then, once they paid her, she deleted the evidence.

• 33:42Speaker 05

  Wow.

• 33:42Laci Mosley?

And I always say with PayPal and Zelle, double, triple, quadruple check because once you send that money, baby, you're at the mercy of if somebody wants to send it back to you within this economy.

• 33:50Speaker 05

Even then, no, you won't get it back.

• 33:52Laci Mosley?

No, they won't get it back. They used to try to get it back for you and they were like, why are we even doing that? Why don't we have customer service?

• 33:56Speaker 05

  They're like, you're stupid.

• 33:57Laci Mosley?

Why don't we have a phone number where you can contact us?

• 34:00Speaker 05

You wanna feel something, go to Black Friday, bitch.

• 34:02Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 34:03Speaker 05

Yeah. You wanna save some money, go do that.

• 34:05Laci Mosley?

And now the Black Friday is gone, go to Trader Joe's, okay? If you wanna feel something.

• 34:08Speaker 05

Get some lead in your salad. We promise there'll be a little bit of glass in your salmon.

• 34:12Laci Mosley?

So let's get into the fraulein.

• 34:15Speaker 05

  Okay.

• 34:15Laci Mosley?

And that's like fraulein, fraulein fraulein.

• 34:18Speaker 05

  Fräulein.

• 34:19Laci Mosley?

Yes. I remember that fraulein is woman in German. This is gonna be the worst German accent you guys have ever heard. You can kill me.

• 34:26Speaker 05

  I'm impressed, actually.

• 34:27Laci Mosley?

But the fraulein in fraud. Muriel is a single mom originally from Switzerland, in the US, on a work visa. Not you over here. See, and y'all arresting black and brown people talking about undocumented, but baby, y'all let these white people come in here on visas. That they, okay.

• 34:45Speaker 05

With a PayPal that's just a strange phone number, you know? And nobody's questioning it. That tracks.

• 34:51Laci Mosley?

You're right, you're right. Yes, come on in. So she was hired at Kinder House. And also Kinder House sounds like a scam, so sorry. Like, you invited people with your scammy ass name. Kinder House in 2013 as a program coordinator and was promoted to director in 2020. So she was really working her shit. Cause in seven years, she got her promotions and she was a director. And she was from Switzerland, so I bet you she had that nice, good accent.

• 35:15Speaker 05

And that helps. And listen, that helps. Put a button down on that and yeah, I'm gonna give you the key, the deed to the city.

• 35:21Laci Mosley?

Oh, my goodness. With an accent in America, they're like, oh, you fancy.

• 35:24Speaker 05

Swiss, yeah, Swiss white woman in a crisp blouse. Yeah.

• 35:28Laci Mosley?

And look, she always got her hair in that bun, okay?

• 35:32Speaker 05

Yeah, that, you know what, a top bun's powerful.

• 35:34Laci Mosley?

  It is.

• 35:34Speaker 05

  Because if it's messy, yes.

• 35:37Laci Mosley?

And she's like putting her paper in front of her face like, don't get the sun on my skin. I must stay very light, like Switzerland.

• 35:43Speaker 05

  Yes, exactly.

• 35:43Laci Mosley?

I must protect my top bun.

• 35:45Speaker 05

But throw a dangle earring and maybe like a cutoff dress.

• 35:48Laci Mosley?

  I feel like it's.

• 35:49Speaker 05

  Declatage out?

• 35:50Laci Mosley?

She's wearing a mother sweatshirt, which I'm into.

• 35:54Speaker 05

It's giving Balenciaga grand chic, derelict.

• 35:57Laci Mosley?

Also, like, that bun is snatched up. She made it look more chill by letting us see one of the rubber bands is black because it could have been blonde to match.

• 36:05Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 36:05Laci Mosley?

But it's so snatched up that it's almost giving like, is she Miss Trunchbull?

• 36:12Laci Mosley?

Is she serving Miss Trunchbull realness?

• 36:14Speaker 05

Is she gonna swing a kid around by their pigtails?

• 36:16Laci Mosley?

  She might.

• 36:17Speaker 05

  Put him in the choki?

• 36:18Laci Mosley?

  It's giving Matilda.

• 36:20Speaker 05

You know who was a gay awakening for me?

• 36:22Laci Mosley?

  Chocolate cake.

• 36:23Speaker 05

  Miss Honey.

• 36:24Laci Mosley?

  Oh, Miss Honey.

• 36:25Speaker 05

  She's beautiful.

• 36:26Laci Mosley?

She is beautiful. She's so sweet.

• 36:27Speaker 05

But this is very Trunchbull coded. And you know what? Miss Trunchbull was a hoarder of wealth.

• 36:35Speaker 05

She was a hoarder of all the kids.

• 36:36Laci Mosley?

  She was?

• 36:37Speaker 05

Wasn't she stealing the kids' money? Or no? No.

• 36:39Laci Mosley?

She stole their joy. I don't know about their money.

• 36:41Speaker 05

I think, oh, you know what? She was after Ms. Honey's house.

• 36:44Laci Mosley?

  Oh, yeah.

• 36:45Speaker 05

  That's what it was.

• 36:46Laci Mosley?

And you know what? So she's giving Ms. Trunchbull, so that's probably giving them German, like she's strict. So this whole vibe with the bun. Honestly, babes, you're doing great cosplay. As a director, she managed day-to-day operations of the school and supervised staff, coordinated payroll, and managed tuition bills. Honestly, she had way too many jobs.

• 37:02Speaker 05

  Wow.

• 37:03Laci Mosley?

What do you mean she does day-to-day? She does supervising of the staff. And she does coordinated payroll. So she managed all the money. And she's also managing the tuition bills of the school. So she's taking the money and she's paying the bills. And day-to-day, she's snooping on everybody to make sure that they don't know that she managing the money and whatever she doing with it.

• 37:20Speaker 05

  Maybe she just got confused.

• 37:22Laci Mosley?

So she, she busy. Honestly, like, I'm not fighting a lady with titties that big. Like, she looks strong.

• 37:27Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 37:28Laci Mosley?

She could be mishandling funds. She could be misappropriating all the time. And I would be like, I'm not questioning it. She knows what she's doing.

• 37:33Speaker 05

And frankly, like, are you very administrative? Are you able to, if your, like, finances and taxes are laid out before you, you're gonna know what to do with them? Because to me, I have such an aversion, like, my nervous system shuts down that I'm like, it's okay, it's okay, steal my money. I can't be bothered to look at it.

• 37:48Laci Mosley?

I don't want my money stolen. I do make threats to my accountants, a light threat. Where I laugh, but I stop laughing very quickly.

• 37:53Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 37:54Laci Mosley?

I'm gonna be ashamed if somebody tries to steal my money, because, you know, it's not gonna just be court. I'm gonna pull up on you.

• 37:58Speaker 05

  Yeah, that's true.

• 38:02Speaker 05

God, I'm glad I'm not your accountant. That's powerful.

• 38:04Laci Mosley?

Yeah, I need people to know, but also, I'm in the same stressful place.

• 38:07Speaker 05

You gave a Paddington hard stare.

• 38:09Laci Mosley?

So she worked at the school in the ground floor, like, of this brownstone, right? On Sixth Avenue. We saw the brownstone. It's Kinder House. They made a real house. And it was on Sixth Avenue and Ninth Street in Park Slope. And lived on the floor above. So she just had to come downstairs for work. She put her bun on and her sweatshirt and came down and got to work.

• 38:27Speaker 05

  Wow.

• 38:27Laci Mosley?

She currently rents two apartments at reduced rates from the daycare. So she's also getting a discount from the daycare to rent apartments.

• 38:35Speaker 05

  Wow.

• 38:35Laci Mosley?

According to her now-deleted bio on their site, Marielle helped to shape the growth and vision of the school and has degrees in international social work. Public health nursing and social management. So basically, she had all the degrees to run a school.

• 38:50Speaker 05

  Right.

• 38:51Laci Mosley?

She said she got social work for the kids.

• 38:52Speaker 05

  Right.

• 38:53Laci Mosley?

She said she got public health and nursing, because you know the kids are Petri dish and they always getting sick.

• 38:57Speaker 05

And she can do the Heimlich?

• 38:58Laci Mosley?

Yeah, she got the Heimlich on lock. She can look for life like nobody's business.

• 39:02Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 39:03Laci Mosley?

Okay? And she does social management, which like means.

• 39:07Speaker 05

  So what's that?

• 39:08Laci Mosley?

  I don't know, and that's why I love it.

• 39:09Speaker 05

I know, it sounds, it's the most official of all.

• 39:12Laci Mosley?

  It gets the people going.

• 39:13Speaker 05

Absolutely, it could be anything from marketing to social work. We don't care, we don't know.

• 39:17Laci Mosley?

Talking to the moms who are beefing over the bake sale.

• 39:19Speaker 05

Social management is like, hey, stay on the curb when you guys are talking ladies.

• 39:23Laci Mosley?

Drop up is like, right. Oh shit, listen, Susan's doing schnitzels this month for bake sale, like, she's, she's got it.

• 39:30Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 39:30Laci Mosley?

And I think, I think this is why she was a great scammer. She has all these different, like, I don't even know she really has these degrees, but what I do know is that she must have some kind of proclivity, because she rose up among the ranks. She also had this business, rent her two apartments. And she's running everything from how you get the money to how you pay the money out in New York City.

• 39:47Speaker 05

  Right.

• 39:48Laci Mosley?

So I feel like she probably had a bunch of artsy ass students who got a degree in German language and then realized they couldn't use it in real life. Because this is 2013, so this is right when millennials are coming out looking for jobs and people have specialty degrees. She said, come over here, specialty degree, baby.

• 40:03Speaker 05

And that's when that really mattered.

• 40:04Laci Mosley?

Yeah, she said, I know you don't worry about your finances, because you went to Yale for German, baby, come over here.

• 40:08Speaker 05

Now it's like, I went to Yale, they're like, okay, welcome to Burger King.

• 40:12Laci Mosley?

  Yeah, like.

• 40:13Speaker 05

  What else can you do?

• 40:14Laci Mosley?

Did you go to Yale of this frybin?

• 40:17Speaker 05

Did you go to Yale of boxing?

• 40:18Laci Mosley?

And honestly, all of these things are special skill sets, but it's like, if there's no skill set for what you just spend all your time learning, you're gonna have to learn another trade.

• 40:25Speaker 05

And if I'm hiring and I'm hearing those three accolades, I'm sold.

• 40:29Laci Mosley?

  It sounds like you're well-rounded.

• 40:30Speaker 05

Yes, and you got that top bun, forget it.

• 40:31Laci Mosley?

And you know she got vibes. She probably got vibes for the parents, top bun for the kids.

• 40:35Speaker 05

Absolutely, code switching, trunchable by day, yeah, gala by night.

• 40:38Laci Mosley?

  Yes.

• 40:39Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 40:39Laci Mosley?

  Yes.

• 40:40Speaker 05

  Mm-hmm.

• 40:41Laci Mosley?

So, German immersion schools, why do they exist? There are only about 50 German language schools in the US with about 7,000 total students, exclusivity. At Kinderhouse, infants and young children go outside every day, no matter the weather. In the tradition of the European Forest School, they are also fully immersed in German language and culture, including celebrating holidays like Lauterlaufen.

• 41:10Speaker 05

  Santa Claus?

• 41:12Laci Mosley?

  That's a, that's, that's, that's the Dutch people. Y'all ain't right for that. Spartapiece, that was slavery.

• 41:18Speaker 05

Jesus Christ, don't I know it.

• 41:20Laci Mosley?

Yeah, we don't gotta get into that.

• 41:21Speaker 05

We just got going there to the Dutch club when we saw that. We go, let's get that out of here.

• 41:24Laci Mosley?

Look it up yourself. But, um, and also, um, another holiday called Fasching. Not to be confused with-

• 41:32Speaker 05

  Is it fashion?

• 41:33Laci Mosley?

  It's Fasching. It's spelled F-A-S-C-H-I-N-G.

• 41:37Speaker 05

  I'm dying to know that.

• 41:38Laci Mosley?

Yeah. Well, Fasching is a Bavarian Mardi Gras, and yes, it's also scary. Uh, parades and revelers wear ugly, scary masks to scare away winter spirits. So this, oh!

• 41:53Speaker 05

  That is spooky.

• 41:55Laci Mosley?

How you gonna scare me with you? I'm not the evil spirit. Y'all must be, because what, what y'all got on?

• 42:00Speaker 05

And it's like, you could just do, I'm scared by one. We don't need a hundred parading the streets.

• 42:05Laci Mosley?

Yes, we could have had one mascot who was Mr. Fasching.

• 42:08Speaker 05

  Absolutely.

• 42:09Laci Mosley?

And he comes out and he does the boogeyman. Why y'all got a line of these motherfuckers like I'm walking into some new age horror film?

• 42:15Speaker 05

Yeah. And talking about Saw, that is, give him a bicycle, these are the Saw men. This is Jigsaw.

• 42:20Laci Mosley?

But also like Jigsaw that might be like an old school judge that has like the- The Golden Bachelor Jigsaw.

• 42:27Speaker 05

  But also a judge.

• 42:28Laci Mosley?

Yes, but also a judge. Judge stuff. No, I don't like that. Oh my gosh.

• 42:32Speaker 05

And he's got three eyes. He's got one on his chin. He's a pervert. He's looking down people's shirts. Get that out of here.

• 42:39Laci Mosley?

Nastiness. How you go, you look like the devil you trying to scare away. It feels like that would be more welcoming to me if I was an evil spirit. I'd be like, what's up, what's up, my dog?

• 42:47Speaker 05

  They're gonna wanna date.

• 42:48Laci Mosley?

If I was evil, I'd be like, these are my people.

• 42:50Speaker 05

Right. This is, that's my type.

• 42:51Laci Mosley?

Yeah. That don't scare me away. And then Lauterlaufen, that one is where young children walk down the street around nightfall on a-

• 43:01Laci Mosley?

November 11th, St. Martin's Day, holding lanterns and singing traditional German songs. And the only German song that I know is from Choral Camp. And it's like, "So, wir denken, heißen, wohl schlägen, kein, tun oft die Felder, die Felder, die Felder breit, mokten, ok, nein, mokten, ok, mokten, ok, nein, oh, mir kriegst du das Sein." Um, and I think it's a song about a man murdering his wife.

• 43:26Speaker 05

And can, and that's what's crazy about these languages is that sounded really delightful. But it's also an Alpine divorce is what you're describing. They dropped, they dropped her off in a mountain. They're like, oh, I love you so much, bye.

• 43:37Laci Mosley?

And these babies, why y'all got the babies walking down? Like, also like, why are y'all?

• 43:40Speaker 05

This is why you need to write a letter to say your kid's not haunted. All of these kids are haunted.

• 43:44Laci Mosley?

Okay, you know what, Hannah? You were absolutely right.

• 43:47Speaker 05

  What is this, drums?

• 43:48Laci Mosley?

That is how you get into a Switzerland German school, like Kinderhaus. You have to say, my kid isn't haunted because they ain't making them go on haunted marches. They got haunted like masks. And then beyond that, remember when I said that they have the infants and the young children go outside every day? No matter the weather in Brooklyn, New York? That means if it's snowing, your baby outside.

• 44:09Speaker 05

  They're like, it's a nor'easter, your baby's outside.

• 44:13Laci Mosley?

It's hail, your baby outside, you better get a little mask for your baby so they don't get the rocks.

• 44:17Speaker 05

You better get floaties or they're gonna drown.

• 44:19Laci Mosley?

  Cause they gonna pee outside.

• 44:21Speaker 05

  And you're welcome.

• 44:21Laci Mosley?

Cause like, we raise them up tough. This feels like a German military camp for babies.

• 44:27Speaker 05

Yeah, we're gonna, and your baby at the end's gonna do a tough mutter. Outside.

• 44:31Laci Mosley?

  Outside.

• 44:32Speaker 05

But imagine you're asleep and then you see the silhouette of your child drumming in your door frame.

• 44:39Laci Mosley?

  With a lantern.

• 44:45Laci Mosley?

And it's like, my little baby? No, y'all wild.

• 45:54Laci Mosley?

So the cost of tuition at Kinder House can cost up to forty-eight thousand per year.

• 45:58Speaker 05

  Jesus.

• 45:59Laci Mosley?

Which is twice the average cost of daycare in New York City and more than the out-of-state tuition rate for UCLA.

• 46:06Speaker 05

  Jesus.

• 46:08Laci Mosley?

It's also about the same as what they're paying Marielle to do her job. The school is still open, although Marielle was fired in December and sued by the school. So Kinder House still exists.

• 46:20Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 46:21Laci Mosley?

But remember, Marielle was supposed to be getting forty-eight thousand dollars per year. Now she done embezzled three million.

• 46:28Speaker 05

  Whoa.

• 46:29Laci Mosley?

Yes. So she was supposed to be getting, basically, one baby's tuition for her entire year of work, which is a scam in itself. Pay teachers more.

• 46:37Speaker 05

Her, her income was forty-eight grand?

• 46:40Laci Mosley?

That's what it was supposed to be.

• 46:40Speaker 05

And that's how you, that's how people turn on the system. Because that's, teachers are the most invaluable thing we have.

• 46:46Laci Mosley?

Which makes no sense because they are educating our youth.

• 46:50Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 46:50Laci Mosley?

But that also makes sense when you think about the billionaire class. And it's like, it's so much easier to control people if they don't know how to, like, comprehend things.

• 46:57Speaker 05

  Well, exactly.

• 46:57Laci Mosley?

Once you take out reading comprehension, it's easy to just put something in bold type font with a photo, and people believe it.

• 47:03Speaker 05

Absolutely. The disparity of the public school system in California. Versus the charter school system is so astounding, but it is setting people up for failure.

• 47:11Laci Mosley?

And learning that we're almost above, well, around 50% of people in the United States who can't read above a sixth grade level. Like popcorn reading would be everybody's ass.

• 47:19Speaker 05

  Right.

• 47:20Laci Mosley?

Like, I don't want to get into a physical fight at Black Friday. Let's bust out a book. And go line for line, bitch, line for line, and then whoever gets the TV at the end.

• 47:28Speaker 05

  Mortifying popcorn.

• 47:30Laci Mosley?

Like, it's all kernel reading now. Nobody popping.

• 47:33Speaker 05

Nobody's, and you know what they're not doing? Learning cursive. And I know it's silly.

• 47:37Laci Mosley?

No, it's not silly because you can't read old texts if you don't know cursive. How you gonna read the Constitution if you don't know how to read cursive?

• 47:45Speaker 05

And you're famously reading it every day after you do the pod.

• 47:48Laci Mosley?

I'm just saying, like, there's old texts.

• 47:50Speaker 05

  You got a pocket constitution.

• 47:51Laci Mosley?

  There's old texts in cursive.

• 47:52Speaker 05

  100%.

• 47:53Laci Mosley?

Also, how are the kids signing their scriptures now with block letters? Y'all go to the bank and it's like bubbles. Yeah, everybody's doing the X like, what are we all doing?

• 48:02Speaker 05

I know. No, it's, and honestly, the, the practice of doing something like that slows you down. It's a thoughtfulness, any sort of patience. Now, you can, anything's available to you immediately. I've even noticed, and I've had to like, because I don't even realize that AI sneaks up into my life when I'll look something up on Google now.

• 48:20Laci Mosley?

Oh, yes. And I've been Googling how to turn it off, and baby, they make it so complicated. Like, I literally turned, I like, Google, uh, where is this restaurant? And the AI pop up like, hey, girl.

• 48:31Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 48:31Laci Mosley?

Hold on, let me pour out all this water, girl.

• 48:33Speaker 05

Let me give you a concentrate of everything you've ever needed, you know?

• 48:36Laci Mosley?

Wrong information, but I saw it on the internet. I'mma put it in a line with bullet points. This good for you? I didn't ask for this.

• 48:42Speaker 05

Right. I didn't ask for this, and now I'm gonna remember an incorrect fact.

• 48:45Laci Mosley?

And also, things like, don't let capitalism turn you into this machine because it's so bad for our mental health. And I know it's already happened, but like, cursive was one of those things that slowed you down. Where you had to like, be in life in the moment and try to figure out how to make a lowercase s. And, and we live.

• 49:00Speaker 05

Well, and chemically, no, it, it's proven, especially for creative writing, that when you have like pen to paper, like I teach writing classes and, or you type, it's a completely different cognitive experience. Where one goes analytical, one's in much, a much bigger hurry, and after 20 minutes of writing. On a piece of paper, it unleashes your unconscious brain, your creative brain, you, you, you use your left and right brain.

• 49:21Laci Mosley?

And that's why we used to write.

• 49:23Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 49:24Laci Mosley?

A like outline. We used to write an outline in school.

• 49:27Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 49:28Laci Mosley?

Then we would write our first draft.

• 49:29Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 49:30Laci Mosley?

Then we would peer review, then we would write our second draft.

• 49:34Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 49:34Laci Mosley?

And honestly, I kind of wish in peer reviewing that I was more of a saboteur for fun. I was really trying to improve people's papers, but I really couldn't just been saying anything and that could have been more fun.

• 49:43Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 49:43Laci Mosley?

But like, yeah, you're talking about releasing that creative space in that first draft. Then you do your second draft and you've already locked in some things you didn't know. And now the girl is just getting all here and doing chat GPT.

• 49:52Speaker 05

  It's repetition.

• 49:53Laci Mosley?

  For their papers.

• 49:54Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 49:54Laci Mosley?

And like, it's repetition is how you learn things.

• 49:56Speaker 05

I think what's scary is people are teaching themselves how to do jobs right now. Because it's a scarcity in the, in the, in the job market and they're teaching themselves how to do the bullet points version of it. So now any job that anyone's doing, it's, it's, we know one fraction of how to do it. And so we're constantly having to look up how to do it. And that's so frustrating, but also in the defense of people, jobs go like that. So it's just the immediacy that we all need now, I think, keeps us from feeling like we can invest time and energy into learning a skill or a trade. It's crazy.

• 50:28Laci Mosley?

But the payoff is like, I know that it's not instant, but I promise you, learning a skill or a trade, y'all, please tell y'all babies, go whisper in their crib while the, well, you know what? You should already be playing the episode in your baby crib while they napping so they can get it through osmosis, okay? I know you got them listening to Mozart in the womb, but have them listen to me when they in the crib.

• 50:43Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 50:44Laci Mosley?

And then in the other room, you listening to this, okay?

• 50:46Speaker 05

Then they're gonna know how to not get scammed.

• 50:48Laci Mosley?

You know, like, like and subscribe on Apple Podcast reviews. Do a nice thing for a black lady, give me five stars today.

• 50:54Speaker 05

  Absolutely.

• 50:54Laci Mosley?

But um, back to uh, Marielle.

• 50:57Speaker 05

  Oh yeah, our favorite gal.

• 50:59Laci Mosley?

So Kinder House obviously sued her and they claimed to be a recognized German language diploma school that is supported by the German government, like a German government agency, but that's not true. So Kinder House is suing Marielle for stealing the coin, but Kinder House is also doing their own scam. That's probably why Marielle was attracted, because she said something about this house don't seem right.

• 51:22Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 51:22Laci Mosley?

And they said that they were supported by a government agency, just a government agency in Germany. Germany, which one? We don't know. Who's gonna call? Not me.

• 51:29Speaker 05

And it's Germany and I think the assumption is like, well, housing is better, schools free. So if it's a government funded German agency, it's great. It's not a US one.

• 51:38Laci Mosley?

Unless I loved Berlin. There were some parts I didn't love, y'all know, see. But like, I did love Berlin, but like, I'm not gonna call them and ask them for things.

• 51:46Speaker 05

  No.

• 51:47Laci Mosley?

And not to confer these, you know, this information that they've given. So after news coverage of the scandal, the German consulate contacted the school and told them to remove that information for their website. So when Kinderhaus sued Marielle for stealing the coins, it became a national story, right? That's how we know about it, correct?

• 52:06Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 52:06Laci Mosley?

Then the Germans were like, nine, nine, nine, nine, nine.

• 52:11Speaker 05

  Nine, nine, nine, nine, nine.

• 52:12Laci Mosley?

So Kinderhaus, I've never met her. Who is Kinderhaus?

• 52:17Speaker 05

Well, yeah, they're like, you slandered the, now I'm doing, but is that Scottish?

• 52:21Laci Mosley?

I don't know. The Germans are very protection, like protective of their reputation after what ruined their reputation.

• 52:26Speaker 05

  I don't know what you're referencing.

• 52:27Laci Mosley?

Yeah. But even like on TikTok, I'll be seeing them like looking at like what our situation is with Trump and they're like, learn from us. Don't go, y'all don't wanna be, like, I'm like, girl, y'all learn from us. I'm like, baby, everything that Hitler got, he got from the Jim Crow playbook, please, we've been this bad. They're, they're HRs on it. They are. Their HR was like, please, we don't need no more scandals. So what did Marielle spend this money that she stole on, right?

• 52:51Speaker 05

  Oh, yeah.

• 52:52Laci Mosley?

Marielle got the stolen cash, right? And she spent like three billion dollars from parents where she was like, pay me house. And then she misappropriated the funds.

• 53:03Speaker 05

And we agree, she should have been paid more.

• 53:05Laci Mosley?

She should have been paid more.

• 53:06Speaker 05

This was stemmed, this stemmed from feeling underused, underused.

• 53:11Laci Mosley?

Now, I'm gonna say Marielle's giving me scammer just from the trunch, but, and from her targeting, obviously, an institution that she probably feel that was a scam. It takes one to know one. She was like, everything I do, scam for scam.

• 53:22Speaker 05

  That's true.

• 53:22Laci Mosley?

Cars for kids, bar for bar.

• 53:24Speaker 05

But three mil, I think we could.

• 53:26Laci Mosley?

Took it too far. She could have railed it in. I feel like.

• 53:28Speaker 05

  At a cool one fifty.

• 53:29Laci Mosley?

Yeah, a one fifty a year scam, she would still be over there. To, you know what? It's New York City, it's Park Slope. Let's go three. And if you're renting out the two.

• 53:37Speaker 05

You know what? Okay, we're gonna go with three. But then let her have one separate account that's kind of like for fun stuff, Knicks games, you know? Okay, so we'll go three seventy five. Seventy-five in a secret account.

• 53:49Laci Mosley?

  Yeah, that's good.

• 53:50Speaker 05

  Three seventy-five.

• 53:51Laci Mosley?

So, but she also was there for several years, so maybe she was making it more chill because remember she started in twenty thirteen? And then she was a director in twenty twenty.

• 54:00Speaker 05

  Do the math.

• 54:01Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 54:01Speaker 05

Somebody not me, I don't know how to do that.

• 54:03Laci Mosley?

Twenty twenty-two and twenty twenty-five is when she made over four hundred and fifty fraudulent payments to herself. So maybe it was like when she became a director, that's when she started really scheming.

• 54:11Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 54:11Laci Mosley?

So she did the work as an earnest, as an earnest teacher, then she started to see the flaws in the system. Then twenty-two-two to twenty twenty-five, within three years, she made four hundred and fifty fraudulent payments to herself. Spending more than three hundred and fifty thousand dollars alone on professional wrestling tickets.

• 54:28Speaker 05

That's right, I blocked that part out.

• 54:30Laci Mosley?

Yeah, yeah, we're coming back to it. Some of us want Trader Joe's back, some of us want to spend three hundred and fifty thousand dollars on professional wrestling tickets. And now that bun is making even more sense.

• 54:41Speaker 05

  It is.

• 54:41Laci Mosley?

This is her fantasy, she wanted to be, she should have just put, got her one of them old school leather waist belts and been retrunchable and got, you know, got in there and start slamming on bitches.

• 54:51Speaker 05

I guess these are, they're, because I know that even the pay-per-view option to watch wrestling is like a hundred bucks or something. So I can only imagine what tickets are to go in person.

• 54:59Laci Mosley?

Because wrestling is like a soap opera.

• 55:02Speaker 05

  It's theater.

• 55:03Laci Mosley?

Plus, like, yeah, plus the, live theater, also plus like a little bit of anime lore with the characters. And then you can also add in like the, so wait, what's the last one that I want to say? So soap opera.

• 55:18Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 55:19Laci Mosley?

  Anime.

• 55:20Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 55:20Laci Mosley?

  Live theater.

• 55:22Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 55:22Laci Mosley?

  And I'm gonna say pageantry.

• 55:23Speaker 05

Pageantry, and it's a little horny.

• 55:25Laci Mosley?

  And it's also horny.

• 55:27Speaker 05

So it's like a little porn adjacent.

• 55:28Laci Mosley?

  A little horny.

• 55:28Speaker 05

You know, you got hands all over greased up bodies, yeah.

• 55:32Laci Mosley?

Yeah, and I'm gonna add one more, Jerry Springer, we're getting violent.

• 55:35Speaker 05

And listen, let's say it, Republican adjacent, most of the time. Yeah, and let's, and let's go ahead and remove the adjacent.

• 55:42Laci Mosley?

Because it's, yeah, because it's like repression. This is Black Friday on TV all the time.

• 55:47Speaker 05

And look, they are, it's like, why weren't you just a dancer? Why, you know, it's like, what's, why didn't you just date that guy?

• 55:53Laci Mosley?

I love it, but then you get great quotes, also comedy, let's add comedy in, because like, can you smell? The Rock is cooking?

• 55:58Speaker 05

  Clouds. That's true.

• 56:00Laci Mosley?

  I never was a wrestler.

• 56:00Speaker 05

Okay, that's interesting. I do love The Rock.

• 56:02Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 56:02Speaker 05

But I'm just saying, I feel like we see a lot of, a lot of people that I don't love wrestling these days.

• 56:07Laci Mosley?

Oh, yeah, but that's because you learn about their personalities. Back in the day, you had to read a tabloid and it was like, you really had to dig. Nowadays, everything comes up and we're like, it's like that one meme with SpongeBob, they're like, like, it's like, what, what?

• 56:20Speaker 05

And it's like nowadays, if you're shitty, we're gonna know.

• 56:22Laci Mosley?

Trump supporter. Like, you could just keep that to yourself.

• 56:23Speaker 05

It's also like, don't be the bachelorette if you know we're gonna find something out that's like horribly incriminating.

• 56:28Laci Mosley?

  Beating people up.

• 56:29Speaker 05

Right, right. It's just wild and you see it with men a lot where I'm like, you think we're not gonna dig it up?

• 56:34Laci Mosley?

That network knew, but they were like, there was no video footage. Like, cause there was like, police reports and stuff.

• 56:39Speaker 05

  Oh, yeah.

• 56:40Laci Mosley?

But video makes everything, I guess, real for people.

• 56:43Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 56:44Laci Mosley?

  Sometimes.

• 56:44Speaker 05

Yeah, if we didn't catch it on video or recorded, it didn't happen.

• 56:47Laci Mosley?

So, Muriel was spending, you know, 350K on professional wrestling tickets. Too much, Muriel, you overspent. But she was probably like, front row. Maybe she was getting in the ring, feeling the sweat on her face in between the matches.

• 56:57Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 56:57Laci Mosley?

Maybe she went backstage and walked down the long hallway, who knows? She also spent the stolen cash on a lavish lifestyle, including VIP, the VIP wrestling tickets, right? Luxury vacations and food deliveries. Now, y'all, you don't know, you can really rack up a lot of money.

• 57:11Speaker 05

  Oh, yeah.

• 57:12Laci Mosley?

Getting food delivered. I don't even, no, just anything. Like, food delivery didn't used to be all the hidden fees. Like, it just keeps going up and up.

• 57:19Speaker 05

And the problem is, once you have your order and you're presented with how much it is, it's too late.

• 57:24Laci Mosley?

  It's too late.

• 57:24Speaker 05

Because you've imagined yourself eating it.

• 57:26Laci Mosley?

You've already clicked all the boxes.

• 57:28Speaker 05

I'm like, I'm not gonna defrost a nugget at that point. Yes.

• 57:31Laci Mosley?

  Oh, it's so hard.

• 57:32Speaker 05

And the add-ons, that's where they get ya. Avocado on top.

• 57:36Laci Mosley?

You put avocado on that motherfucker, you put sesame seeds.

• 57:37Speaker 05

Do I want organic avocado on top of that avocado?

• 57:39Laci Mosley?

  Oh, listen.

• 57:40Speaker 05

Soloncho being a dollar fifty add-on.

• 57:42Laci Mosley?

It's crazy, it's a leaf. And also, I'm not, I'm not trusting organic avocado from nowhere that I'm ordering it from. Because maybe, if I go to the grocery store, maybe I'll sniff it and rub out it and see, maybe it ain't got no poison on it. But if I'm getting it from an establishment that is mass producing things in any way, baby, I don't believe it's organic. Y'all just throwing shit on shit.

• 58:00Speaker 05

Throw that mass-produced avocado in your $10,000 tote.

• 58:03Laci Mosley?

The organic ones just be smaller. They'd be like, no, it's small, it's organic, don't, no, please don't put it in.

• 58:07Speaker 05

  I know, organic is smaller.

• 58:09Laci Mosley?

  I think they're just smaller.

• 58:10Speaker 05

And then I'm like, that's just genetically modified.

• 58:12Laci Mosley?

Am I supposed to lick it and know what a pesticide tastes like? I never, I don't know.

• 58:16Speaker 05

We should do a, that's a separate episode. Of all, yeah, we try the organic version and we try the, the one that's 150 more.

• 58:22Laci Mosley?

And see if we feel healthier.

• 58:23Speaker 05

  See if we feel healthier.

• 58:24Laci Mosley?

So, Marielle also did something causal that I don't love that scammers do. She was bragging about the WWE VIP treatment on Instagram. The VIP experience for Monday Night Raw usually costs more than $2,000 per person. She also spent more than $150,000 on ride sharing and other $150,000 on food delivery. So she was on Uber Black, she was on Uber Eats, she was on Black Premium, but, but, but, but.

• 58:54Speaker 05

Let me ask you this, when you call an Uber, are you like, it's gotta be an Uber Black?

• 58:58Laci Mosley?

It depends on where I'm going.

• 58:59Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 59:00Laci Mosley?

So, if I'm going to the airport, yes, because in certain scenarios, I can't get into the place in the airport that's the most convenient. Or get out of the airport.

• 59:07Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 59:07Laci Mosley?

If I'm going up the street day to day, I'm looking at the prices. Also, there's two types of Uber Black, and like, I hope that me saying this isn't gonna ruin this. Um, y'all community, keep this within yourselves, okay? Uber Black, like, they'll show you two Blacks, it'll be a Black car and a Black SUV. If the price is different for the Black car and the SUV, I always just pick the car because nine times out of 10, the SUV still shows up.

• 59:29Speaker 05

SUV, yeah. I think that that's a flex that you're allowed to say because there's enough Ubers to go around.

• 59:35Laci Mosley?

  There are.

• 59:36Speaker 05

As long as we're not taking Waymos, those things spook me. That thing tried to maul me down the other day.

• 59:41Laci Mosley?

If they weren't on the road, like, get the fuck out of here.

• 59:43Speaker 05

But then I did have an Uber driver the other day who was watching Disney's Ice Princess on an iPad mounted, the whole drive. And I was like, you know what? I respect it. Better than a Waymo.

• 59:53Laci Mosley?

At least he got it on the mount, okay? His eyes darting.

• 59:56Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 59:56Laci Mosley?

And he's seeing traffic in between the dart, you know, like, he, he.

• 59:59Speaker 05

I was like, it's bumper to bumper, let him watch a Disney classic.

• 1:00:02Laci Mosley?

  Yes, he's being comforted.

• 1:00:06Speaker 05

  He needs some whimsy.

• 1:00:07Laci Mosley?

She also took frequent luxury trips, often every other weekend. She also rented two apartments in Park Slope, which can. Cannot be done on a $40,000 salary.

• 1:00:17Speaker 05

And why do you need two in the same borough?

• 1:00:19Laci Mosley?

Now, I'm gonna say that Muriel needed to be rich because I know a lot of rich people who don't know what to spend on their, like, spend their money with.

• 1:00:25Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 1:00:26Laci Mosley?

Now, I think that the $350,000 on WWE, that's your passion, so I'm gonna let you have that.

• 1:00:30Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 1:00:30Laci Mosley?

But the luxury vacations every other weekend, you were living, honey. You were living your life.

• 1:00:34Speaker 05

  Right.

• 1:00:34Laci Mosley?

It's not like you were giving this money away to some bum.

• 1:00:36Speaker 05

  You're right.

• 1:00:37Laci Mosley?

Like, you, you were living your life like it was golden.

• 1:00:41Speaker 05

  You're right. You're right.

• 1:00:41Laci Mosley?

And she, she covered up the theft, because you were just saying that $48,000 and giving.

• 1:00:45Speaker 05

  Right.

• 1:00:45Laci Mosley?

She was covering up the theft by manipulating the school's internal accounting system to falsely, like, show that the payments had been deposited into the school's bank account, then deleted emails that would have revealed the scheme. So by her falsifying those, like, documents and then deleting her emails that had the paper trail of the fake PayPal member, nobody was the wiser.

• 1:01:07Speaker 05

Wow. And here, look, it is, this is, tale as old as time, they are brilliant.

• 1:01:11Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:12Speaker 05

Like, it's like, that is a smart person, it's just too bad that the powers are directed towards that, you know?

• 1:01:16Laci Mosley?

  I mean-

• 1:01:17Speaker 05

  And not the kids.

• 1:01:17Laci Mosley?

My thing would have been, though, Muriel, you can't run this grift forever.

• 1:01:23Speaker 05

Right, it's gotta catch up to you.

• 1:01:25Laci Mosley?

And I really wish that if, if you wanna go to WrestleMania, you don't need to spend $350,000 on that. You don't need to be going every week down the tunnel, baby, and like, dapping up, I don't know, the Warrior Princess or whoever doing wrestling right now.

• 1:01:35Speaker 05

  Right.

• 1:01:36Laci Mosley?

Like, you could have did little spurges here and there, saved a fuck ton of money-

• 1:01:41Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 1:01:41Laci Mosley?

And then quit that school, moved out of the city, and not let them people find you again.

• 1:01:46Speaker 05

But that would require saving, and I think there is this naivete in this idea that-

• 1:01:50Laci Mosley?

That she's gonna keep coming, the money's gonna keep coming.

• 1:01:52Speaker 05

  Listen, she's, she's choosing abundance.

• 1:01:54Laci Mosley?

  She is.

• 1:01:54Speaker 05

  She's just making it happen.

• 1:01:56Laci Mosley?

She doesn't live in a scarcity mindset.

• 1:01:57Speaker 05

  Mm-mm.

• 1:01:58Laci Mosley?

  She doesn't.

• 1:01:59Speaker 05

  Nope.

• 1:01:59Laci Mosley?

  So-

• 1:02:00Speaker 05

May we all learn from her.

• 1:02:02Laci Mosley?

The Swiss connection to the Swiss-German school is, is that when a school staffer asked how Muriel could afford her two apartments along with constant trips and shopping sprees with such a small salary, Muriel said that she was the offspring of a wealthy Swiss family in Basel.

• 1:02:18Speaker 05

God, I gotta say, these are, she was brilliant in this scheming. Like, again, not gonna question that either.

• 1:02:25Laci Mosley?

And she kinda gives nepo energy. And the way she spins, the way she talks, and then also-

• 1:02:29Speaker 05

It's a little Anadelfe-coded in the way of, like, there's just, she exudes a power.

• 1:02:34Laci Mosley?

And the more out-loud it is, that top knot, it's really that top knot that's all her power.

• 1:02:38Speaker 05

I know, I'm like, I gotta try a top knot.

• 1:02:40Laci Mosley?

It's cause all her follicles are yanked up, so she's on high alert all the time.

• 1:02:43Speaker 05

And the top knot's tricky, right? Because if there's too many frazzled hairs, but she's got it, if they're all shellacked back, now that's chic, right?

• 1:02:49Laci Mosley?

See, I think if they're all shellacked back, it's not giving that, "I work with the children."

• 1:02:54Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 1:02:55Laci Mosley?

Like, she's giving a little, like, whimsy, like, a few blow in the wind, but-

• 1:02:59Speaker 05

A light, dry texture stress spray.

• 1:03:00Laci Mosley?

What I do notice about her knot is that a lot of knots, like, when it comes to, like, a slicked-back bun on a white girl, if a stylist isn't doing it, sometimes there's always, like, a bump right here, right before it goes into the ponytail.

• 1:03:13Speaker 05

Believe me, I know, I think we could probably, let's zoom in, it's probably right here.

• 1:03:16Laci Mosley?

She doesn't have that bump right there. Like, zoom in, like, that's her hair.

• 1:03:21Speaker 05

That bump's a different tax bracket than me.

• 1:03:22Laci Mosley?

Like, and then she's got just some whimsical little baby hairs flowing in the wind.

• 1:03:25Speaker 05

It's true, if you have a, just, you need a couple wispy's. Two wispy, you've been stuck in a rain, in a windstorm, wind tunnel.

• 1:03:32Laci Mosley?

But a few wispy's, and she has demure earrings on. She does have a full face of makeup, but, like, she's wearing muted, like, essentially it's a label, but, like, neutral tones. And it's a hoodie, so she's like, "I'm not, I don't even care about this label, this is just a little hoodie." And she could brag about her trips and shit, because I think that, obviously, whoever this teacher was, who's feeling the weight of their student loan debt, the weight of going to travel to Park Slope, dealing with these bougie-ass parents, knowing German and everything, they're seeing this lady float around, making all this money, and they're pocket-watching.

• 1:04:06Speaker 05

  Yep.

• 1:04:07Laci Mosley?

A hater will bring you down.

• 1:04:08Speaker 05

Absolute, and you know, but, and it's such a smart scheme, because it's like, I'm not gonna question a European person that says that they come from wealth. I'm like, well, isn't that by definition what it is to be European? Switzerland is like, I think it's the most expensive country in the world.

• 1:04:22Laci Mosley?

Yeah, it is, yeah, they make a lot of money there, like, highest per capita, yeah, like, and- Like their income.

• 1:04:28Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 1:04:28Laci Mosley?

And on top of that, the whimsy of being in America and saying that you're from Switzerland.

• 1:04:33Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 1:04:34Laci Mosley?

Is like a lot of people who have money, like send their kids to America to just do dalliances until they're ready to get married or whatever.

• 1:04:40Speaker 05

  Right.

• 1:04:40Laci Mosley?

So it tracks that she would take a cheap salary because she's not in it for the money.

• 1:04:45Speaker 05

You know what she is? She's a novelist.

• 1:04:47Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:04:47Speaker 05

What she's doing, this is creative writing.

• 1:04:49Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:04:49Speaker 05

She's real, the backstory is rich and vivid and illustrious, and I gotta give her that.

• 1:04:54Laci Mosley?

And also, I love that she said that she was from this rich family because it's also giving like, I'm just here for charity. Like, I do collect a salary, but like.

• 1:05:02Speaker 05

But like, I don't have to work, but I do.

• 1:05:04Laci Mosley?

  Cause I'm charitable.

• 1:05:06Speaker 05

  Totally.

• 1:05:07Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:07Speaker 05

Not only do I go to the galas, I help the kids.

• 1:05:09Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:10Speaker 05

  I burp the babies.

• 1:05:11Laci Mosley?

Yeah. And that gives me a one up on the women who just go to the galas because I actually help with the kids.

• 1:05:15Speaker 05

And I don't know if you know this, but I'm the social communications officer.

• 1:05:18Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:18Speaker 05

And I'll never tell what that means.

• 1:05:20Laci Mosley?

Cause you don't need to know.

• 1:05:21Speaker 05

  You don't need to know.

• 1:05:21Laci Mosley?

So the school's principal learned about the fraud in October of 2025 and had to use her own personal savings to meet payroll and operational obligations for the school. Like, baby Muriel, that's what I'm saying about, you need to like, get your foot off the gas. Like, keep the school up and running. When the lights start to turn off, when the kids can't get they schnitzels, like.

• 1:05:43Speaker 05

And they're not, and then the last, the last one goes, they're not taking the kids outside anymore.

• 1:05:47Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 1:05:47Speaker 05

  The kids are inside.

• 1:05:48Laci Mosley?

I think that's the thing that they are definitely doing because that, that was an operating cost in itself.

• 1:05:53Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 1:05:53Laci Mosley?

Like, the kids weren't on no computer, they were outside in the elements. So you, you had that on your side, baby. What are you doing?

• 1:05:59Speaker 05

So we gotta be questioning these forest schools.

• 1:06:01Laci Mosley?

Have like a slide or nothing back there. They were like, make your own slides. Get, get rockin'.

• 1:06:06Speaker 05

  Here's wood, build a bed.

• 1:06:07Laci Mosley?

Here's, here's rock and, and, and stick, make baseball.

• 1:06:11Speaker 05

  Start fire and make fondue.

• 1:06:13Laci Mosley?

Yes. So at her court hearing, Muriel was ordered to surrender her passport, wear GPS monitoring, and stay at home on curfew. She can leave the brownstone to shop for groceries and take her two younger children to elementary school. Her oldest child is homeschooled, so her kids aren't even in this German school. Wow. But also.

• 1:06:34Speaker 05

That's how secrets are kept, to keep them at home.

• 1:06:37Laci Mosley?

  Yeah, because kids be talking.

• 1:06:38Speaker 05

Kids don't know how to keep a secret. Don't tell a kid about an engagement. Are you crazy?

• 1:06:41Laci Mosley?

And if she was doing WWE, if some of the kids were old enough, she might have been dropping two grand on them to be at the VIP experience as well.

• 1:06:47Speaker 05

Absolutely. If there's one thing that WrestleMania is good for, it's babies.

• 1:06:50Laci Mosley?

Yeah. And you know what? A baby gonna blab.

• 1:06:53Speaker 05

  A baby's gonna blab.

• 1:06:55Laci Mosley?

I used to wonder as an adult now, when my mom was, as a kid, was like, when we go to family functions or anywhere, I would be out with her, she'd be like, what happens at home stays at home.

• 1:07:03Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 1:07:04Laci Mosley?

And I'm thinking to myself, nothing traumatic is happening. We don't have no deep, dark secrets. Ain't nobody in the basement type shit. But she was just saying, like, just don't be yapping about my business.

• 1:07:12Speaker 05

Something embarrassing that I did that day.

• 1:07:14Laci Mosley?

Or something that I don't want somebody else to know, like...

• 1:07:16Speaker 05

  Exactly.

• 1:07:17Laci Mosley?

My momma wondering, when you gonna pay her back for your car note?

• 1:07:20Speaker 05

Yes, exactly. My mom feels really guilty about something that she said to you. Like, do you want to apologize? It's like, I said that to you in confidence, seven-year-old.

• 1:07:28Laci Mosley?

  Right.

• 1:07:29Speaker 05

Yeah. But, and also, that's the purity and sweetness of a kid.

• 1:07:32Laci Mosley?

Of a kid, because they just repeat anything.

• 1:07:34Speaker 05

Why would we keep a secret? And we're like, that's to be an adult, honey.

• 1:07:37Laci Mosley?

  Exactly.

• 1:07:38Speaker 05

We're only as good as our secrets.

• 1:07:40Laci Mosley?

My momma said she saw you spending some of that GoFundMe money on her purse. La la la. And we just skip away.

• 1:07:45Speaker 05

Keep her home in the basement. In the choki. I'm misjudgeable.

• 1:07:49Laci Mosley?

My momma said she stopped, wish you'd stop bringing food to the potluck. La la la.

• 1:07:53Speaker 05

My mom said she didn't like your food at the potluck.

• 1:07:56Laci Mosley?

  Yes, exactly.

• 1:07:57Speaker 05

  That's worse. Yeah.

• 1:07:57Laci Mosley?

Yeah. My momma said, yo, casserole nasty. La la la.

• 1:08:00Speaker 05

  Friendship over.

• 1:08:02Laci Mosley?

Literally. That's why you gotta keep your kids quiet. So she was smart to keep them home schooled. Because they would have been like, my mom stealing out of school money. La la la. Yeah, that would have broken up. So prosecutors said the money is all gone and probably can't be recovered with a, like, one million dollars going towards travel, entertainment, that can't be regained, and another million that is unaccounted for.

• 1:08:22Speaker 05

  That's just so crazy.

• 1:08:23Laci Mosley?

She was released on a $200,000 bond. If found guilty of fraud and money laundering, she could get up to 20 years in prison.

• 1:08:31Speaker 05

Wow. No, and that's, that's a step up from curfew.

• 1:08:34Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:08:35Speaker 05

They're like, sorry, girl, you can't go clubbing in Park Slope.

• 1:08:39Laci Mosley?

She has kids. I think the school itself is already a scam. Kinder House, Germans were like, we don't know them. We ain't never been to that house.

• 1:08:45Speaker 05

I don't want her to go to jail for 20 years. I don't want that.

• 1:08:48Laci Mosley?

I don't want that for her either.

• 1:08:50Speaker 05

I just want her to learn her lesson.

• 1:08:51Laci Mosley?

I want her to learn her lesson.

• 1:08:53Speaker 05

I want them to up the wages at Kinder House.

• 1:08:55Laci Mosley?

Yes. Kinder House needs to up wages.

• 1:08:57Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 1:08:57Laci Mosley?

I want her to learn her lesson, and I want her kids to have their mama with the top knot.

• 1:09:02Speaker 05

  I want that too.

• 1:09:03Laci Mosley?

  Yes.

• 1:09:03Speaker 05

I want, I want, and, and it's not the kids' fault at the end of the day. And I want to go into Kinder House and understand why it's $50,000 to go outside and learn German.

• 1:09:12Laci Mosley?

  Absolutely.

• 1:09:13Speaker 05

Really, we can agree, a scam in its own right.

• 1:09:16Laci Mosley?

And that brings us to the end of Historic Good Wings. Uh, good luck to you, Marielle, and to the WWE, you lost a big contributor. I hope y'all can still afford y'all, like, afford y'all, like, waist belts and, and, and, you know, body lotions. So, Scammer of the Week, uh, keeping on the Switzerland, we're gonna talk about this Kit Kat heist. So, the internet is on fire this, like, right now because of this big Kit Kat heist of 2026. So, a truck carrying 413, 793 Kit Kat bars was stolen after it left a factory in Italy en route to distributors in Poland on March 26th. The thieves were posing as law enforcement outside of Turin, Italy. So, they restrained, they restrained and removed the driver.

• 1:10:01Laci Mosley?

Imagine being a driver, you're not driving no bank truck, you're not driving no secure, like, money truck. You're driving a Kit Kat truck.

• 1:10:08Speaker 05

  These are Kit Kat bars.

• 1:10:10Laci Mosley?

You're supposed to be whimsical, you're adjacent to the ice cream man.

• 1:10:12Speaker 05

  Right, right.

• 1:10:13Laci Mosley?

Like, your truck could have music on it, like, doo doo doo.

• 1:10:14Speaker 05

You get paid in sparkle dust.

• 1:10:16Laci Mosley?

Do do do do do do.

• 1:10:17Speaker 05

  Give me a break.

• 1:10:18Laci Mosley?

Yeah, give me a break. And they was like, we gonna break your legs.

• 1:10:21Speaker 05

And he's like, give me a break.

• 1:10:22Laci Mosley?

  Give me a break.

• 1:10:23Speaker 05

  Come on.

• 1:10:24Laci Mosley?

They're like, you either break us off them Kit Kat bars, or we break your legs.

• 1:10:27Speaker 05

  Exactly.

• 1:10:28Laci Mosley?

Like, why would you do that to him?

• 1:10:29Speaker 05

  They only speak in puns.

• 1:10:30Laci Mosley?

  They only speak in puns.

• 1:10:31Speaker 05

And that's the whimsical part, they're like, we're gonna rob you, but it's gonna be in puns.

• 1:10:34Laci Mosley?

But it's gonna be in puns, and it is for chocolate. So, they restrained and removed the driver, and they took off driving the truck. They said, don't even get it out, we're gonna take the truck, babes. No one was injured, but the truck and the chocolate is still missing.

• 1:10:48Speaker 05

  He's like, on the freeway?

• 1:10:49Laci Mosley?

Yeah, they yanked him, they yanked him on the street.

• 1:10:52Speaker 05

  Oh, the chocolate's missing.

• 1:10:54Laci Mosley?

Yes, and honestly, I feel like because he's driving Kit Kat bar truck, they kind of did something smart here because if I'm gonna yank somebody out of a car, I bet you a Kit Kat truck ain't locking them doors.

• 1:11:04Speaker 05

  Absolutely not.

• 1:11:05Laci Mosley?

  Not in the front.

• 1:11:05Speaker 05

  They're like, it's chocolate.

• 1:11:06Laci Mosley?

  It's chocolate.

• 1:11:07Speaker 05

They're like, this isn't even Ghirardelli. This is Kit Kat.

• 1:11:09Laci Mosley?

  Right, this ain't even Ghirardelli.

• 1:11:11Speaker 05

Yeah, this isn't Nutella, this isn't Godiva.

• 1:11:14Laci Mosley?

This ain't Godiva, we ain't got nobody on no horse. We ain't got no Lady Godiva or nothing.

• 1:11:18Speaker 05

  Ex- we're just-

• 1:11:19Laci Mosley?

  This ain't Toblerone.

• 1:11:21Speaker 05

  Toblerone, love a Toblerone.

• 1:11:23Laci Mosley?

  Love a Toblerone.

• 1:11:23Speaker 05

This is just a wafer with a little bit of chocolate on top.

• 1:11:26Laci Mosley?

Like, we got a theme song.

• 1:11:27Speaker 05

  I love a Kit Kat.

• 1:11:28Laci Mosley?

  I love a Kit Kat.

• 1:11:29Speaker 05

And a trick, when I would trick or treat and you put all your candies in the piles, love a Kit Kat, but would trade a Kit Kat.

• 1:11:34Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:11:35Speaker 05

  For a Reese's.

• 1:11:35Laci Mosley?

I don't like when Kit Kat started doing individual Halloween candy that was one cat. I'm sorry, y'all are kitten cat.

• 1:11:40Speaker 05

You need to be kitten cat.

• 1:11:41Laci Mosley?

I need to be able to do a break.

• 1:11:43Speaker 05

Absolutely, yeah, I'm like, really, that's the one thing you have.

• 1:11:46Laci Mosley?

That's not the break. Give me a kit and give me a cat, I don't want just kit. Now, the truck was shipping 12 tons of new Kit Kat bars. Now, I don't know why they said new because are they gonna be old, baby? Yeah, so they're probably a new version. Oh, look at that, we got a Kit Kat car? I want that's what they're gonna be in, so-

• 1:12:03Speaker 05

  Kit Kat Batmobile.

• 1:12:04Laci Mosley?

So, so the truck actually wasn't sending like individual Kit Kat bars. It was sending a 12, like 12 tons of new Kit Kat bars made as a brand partnership with F1 Racing in the shape of an F1 car. So the chocolate bars had been sculpted. They had wings.

• 1:12:24Speaker 05

  Oh, no.

• 1:12:25Laci Mosley?

Stylized tires and intricate detailing and design.

• 1:12:29Speaker 05

  Chocolate cobblers.

• 1:12:29Laci Mosley?

They had chocolate cobblers on these Kit Kats. So these are new Kit Kat bars that were in the shape of these F1 cars to capture the imagination of racing fans.

• 1:12:39Speaker 05

This is why the elves need to unionize, because this is crazy. They didn't have protection.

• 1:12:44Laci Mosley?

And this is ahead of the European Grand Prix season.

• 1:12:46Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 1:12:46Laci Mosley?

And chocolate fans right before Easter. So Kit Kat became the official chocolate of F1. Which I'm like, in F1, I guess you do need a break to get the juju, the tires.

• 1:12:56Speaker 05

  That's actually very smart marketing.

• 1:12:58Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:12:58Speaker 05

  Quick, quick snap.

• 1:12:59Laci Mosley?

Yeah, give me a quick snap and get my car back on the road.

• 1:13:02Speaker 05

But give me a kit and a cat, I'm hard- I'm hungry from all this driving a car around.

• 1:13:06Laci Mosley?

  Yes. You're like, "Doom, doom."

• 1:13:08Speaker 05

Make that make sense to me.

• 1:13:09Laci Mosley?

So during F1's 75th anniversary and Kit Kat's 90th anniversary, this is when they linked up. So Kit Kat's parent company, Nestle, headquartered in Switzerland, has been making a meal of the crime. Their official statement said that they appreciate the criminals' exceptional taste.

• 1:13:26Speaker 05

Oh, wait, that's so, I love, I love a compliment, a strange compliment.

• 1:13:32Laci Mosley?

That's a bad bitch. Nestle was like, "You're getting free advertisement." Right. They're like, "Yes, our candy is worth being stole. Let's raise the price on all of it because..."

• 1:13:39Speaker 05

  They're like...

• 1:13:40Laci Mosley?

  "Dilettia, watch out."

• 1:13:41Speaker 05

Yeah, it was a getaway car, but speaking of fast cars.

• 1:13:44Laci Mosley?

Ferrero Rocher, you ain't shit, bitch. Has anybody ever robbed y'all? No.

• 1:13:48Speaker 05

  Yes, that's so true.

• 1:13:49Laci Mosley?

And y'all got gold wrappers. Get out of here.

• 1:13:51Speaker 05

  That's brilliant.

• 1:13:52Laci Mosley?

And if you get a black market Kit Kat, ooh, y'all let me know if y'all get a black market F1 Kit Kat.

• 1:13:57Speaker 05

  Danger.

• 1:13:57Laci Mosley?

Ooh, and it's so fast and dangerous.

• 1:13:59Speaker 05

This Kit Kat tastes like a boyfriend that's no good for me because he drives over the speed limit and he does donuts.

• 1:14:04Laci Mosley?

This Kit Kat leaves me on red, but also venereal quest me.

• 1:14:07Speaker 05

Yeah, exactly. This Kit Kat watches all my stories, but he won't text me back.

• 1:14:12Laci Mosley?

I love that Kit Kat. 400,000 Kit Kat bars would be worth about $750,000, according to some estimates. There are no reports about the value of the truck itself. They don't give a fuck about the truck. They say, "Fuck that truck." Okay, this is about Kit and Kat. Nestle took over immediately.

• 1:14:26Speaker 05

Also, it's a truck. Was it a pimp my ride in truck? Like, I don't know.

• 1:14:30Laci Mosley?

I feel like the driver called the company and then the news showed up and they wanted to interview the driver. And the Kit Kat representative like pushed his ass out of the way. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

• 1:14:37Speaker 05

  And he's like, "Again?"

• 1:14:37Laci Mosley?

He's fine. He's good. He's fine. He's good. Let's talk Kit Kat. He's fine. They tie him up, we untie him. Let's talk Kit Kat. So the shipment wasn't publicized, but the marketing push around F1 bars was already in motion. The stolen Kit Kat bars could have made their way into underground chocolate markets, but they can be traced beneath...

• 1:14:55Speaker 05

Kit Kat Fight Club. First number one rule of Kit Kat Fight Club, don't talk about Kit Kat Fight Club.

• 1:15:00Laci Mosley?

You be in there like, "Kit Kat." "Kit Kat."

• 1:15:04Speaker 05

  Reese's Kit Kat.

• 1:15:06Laci Mosley?

Yes. And so, but they could be, you know, on the, the, the cat market. The chocolate market, not the, not the, not the black market, the chocolate market.

• 1:15:16Speaker 05

  Okay.

• 1:15:16Laci Mosley?

Chocolate is where I'm at, the chocolate market.

• 1:15:17Speaker 05

  Mmm.

• 1:15:19Laci Mosley?

But they can't, they have a batch code that can be tied to each bar, which is hilarious, because who's gonna do that? In a way, that makes this stuff a bad idea, but on the other hand, making this limited edition product even more limited.

• 1:15:30Speaker 05

  Sure.

• 1:15:30Laci Mosley?

You know, by stealing hundreds of thousands of them will push up their value in the black market.

• 1:15:36Speaker 05

After all that, wow. Because it's, it's more of a novelty.

• 1:15:40Laci Mosley?

Whoever stole all those Kit Kats.

• 1:15:42Speaker 05

Oh, that's so funny. That is wild.

• 1:15:44Laci Mosley?

I hope they sell them to some billionaire who's throwing some, like, secret evil party.

• 1:15:49Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 1:15:49Laci Mosley?

And then, like, a bunch of rich people, like, oh my god, we had the, we had the Kit Kat F1.

• 1:15:53Speaker 05

  And are they really?

• 1:15:54Laci Mosley?

Like, do that instead of, like, weird crimes to people. Like, have, like, steal Kit Kat F1s and show people the original Mona Lisa.

• 1:16:00Speaker 05

  I'm okay with this crime.

• 1:16:01Laci Mosley?

  Yeah.

• 1:16:02Speaker 05

I'm okay with this crime. It is, I think it's...

• 1:16:04Laci Mosley?

We're gonna give you a break.

• 1:16:04Speaker 05

Yeah, we're, okay. We're gonna give a break on this one.

• 1:16:08Laci Mosley?

All right, and speaking of break, this isn't a break, this is the end of the episode.

• 1:16:13Speaker 05

Parting with such, such a sorrow.

• 1:16:15Laci Mosley?
