They say everything happens for a reason, but I suspect everything happens for a Reese's. Like this commercial break. Did you need 15 seconds away from music? Or 15 seconds to eat a Reese's? Perhaps it's true. Everything happens for a Reese's.

• 1:07Travis Kelce?

Dude, I'm pretty pumped. I'm nervous, but I'm pretty pumped. I've always wanted to ask him just everything on my mind.

• 1:13Speaker 04

I know. It's gonna be hard. You're not gonna have that much time.

• 1:16Travis Kelce?

I'm not. I don't even know what's on the rundown.

• 1:18Speaker 04

I'll take care of the rundown. You just free ball it.

• 1:21Travis Kelce?

LeBron, do you think I could play in the NBA?

• 1:25Speaker 04

You don't want the answer to that.

• 1:28Travis Kelce?

He saw me try and dunk last week.

• 1:30Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:30Travis Kelce?

All right, let's fucking go. Welcome back to New Heights, ladies and gentlemen. A Wondry Show produced by Wave Sports and Entertainment and brought to you by Reese's. Ooh, new chocolate lava big cup. Ooh, big Ed Kelsey's gonna go fucking nuts over that.

• 1:50Speaker 04

  Ed's salivating right now.

• 1:51Travis Kelce?

We're your hosts. I'm Travis Kelce. This is Jason Kelce out of Northeast Ohio. Heavenly natives. Bearcat alumni as well. Shout out to the Bearcats. Hopefully they can get it going here. Boys' basketball, women's basketball here in the old Big 12.

Ninety-two percent as we got a banger. We got a banger. We got a guest. It's been a long time coming and with the playoffs here, the stakes could not be higher for him to come on the show. He's the king himself. King James is here. That's right.

• 2:31Travis Kelce?

  Northeast Ohio's finest.

• 2:34Speaker 04

  Get ready for some fun.

• 2:35Travis Kelce?

Yeah, he's gonna help us recap the wild card weekend. Uh, we'll talk a little Cleveland, uh, lots and lots of other fun. Cause I've always, uh, wanted to talk to the king about everything Cleveland and, uh, everything basketball, man. So this is gonna be a fun one, man. This is gonna be a fun one.

• 2:50Speaker 04

Yeah. Before we get into LeBron, uh, we just wanted to take a second and stop down and say that our thoughts are with everybody in the LA area.

• 2:57Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 2:58Speaker 04

That we've all seen the footage and at this point know people personally who have been affected by these fires and this tragedy. So our thoughts are with you. There will be a link in the description. If you want to support, uh, that's redcross.org slash NFL. I really don't know what's gonna happen in the, even just the coming days, let alone the coming weeks and how this is gonna get rebuilt. So just let you know, you know, we're thinking about you.

• 3:21Travis Kelce?

  Everybody, yeah.

• 3:22Speaker 04

We know this is not easy.

• 3:24Travis Kelce?

How did you, did it feel special out there in Arizona at the Rams game?

• 3:27Speaker 04

You know, I was walking through the, so normally we're out on the field and we're not in the concourse area. But because of transition, we couldn't have that set on the field in Arizona. And when I was walking through the concourse area, I saw like the LA fire department hat that the Rams were cosigning with. I'm like, God dang man, like, I don't know. It just like hit me right in the moment. Oftentimes football can be a distraction from some of these things. Um, and I always enjoyed playing when there was crazy things happening outside of the game. Uh, as a way to kind of just not have to think about it for a little bit. So I don't know. Hopefully the Rams winning on Monday. You know, gave the fans and some of the citizens some much needed escape from the things that are happening.

• 4:11Speaker 04

But shout out to everyone that's involved and. Helping prevent, rebuild, you know, just the emergency responders that are there helping out the people that are in need.

• 4:21Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 4:22Speaker 04

It was pretty powerful seeing a lot of the LA fans in that place. I really thought Big Wit killed it in his speech. That is the first speech I've heard from him. He always kills. He's always away with words and he's obviously really personally connected to all this stuff being out there in LA. So yeah, let's get on to LeBron. Let's pick up some spirits and get this conversation going. Joining us today, the 6'9", born from Akron, Ohio, the number one pick of 2003 NBA draft, 2004 Rookie of the Year, 20-time NBA All-Star, four-time MVP, four-time NBA Champion, three-time

• 5:02Speaker 04

Gold Medalist, and the NBA All-Time Leader in Career Points. That's right, 92 percenters. Please welcome Northeast Ohio's finest, Mr. LeBron James.

• 5:16Speaker 04

  Let's go.

• 5:20Speaker 05

Oh my God. Yo, Jason, that might be the greatest introduction of all time. Bowled at the air with the powder. Oh my goodness, you guys are fucking unbelievable.

• 5:33Travis Kelce?

This dude is just wearing the powder too.

• 5:35Speaker 05

Right, right. Who's gonna clean that shit up now?

• 5:39Speaker 04

Kylie is not gonna be happy about this.

• 5:40Travis Kelce?

Jason, you gotta, you gotta blow the powder away, Jason. You gotta study the technique, man.

• 5:46Speaker 04

Don't put too much in there.

• 5:50Speaker 04

  All right.

• 5:50Travis Kelce?

Scott looks like a fucking ghost, man. That shit's great, dog. You started doing the powder what year? Was it your rookie year?

• 5:56Speaker 05

No, I don't remember if it was my rookie year, Travis, man. I think it was maybe second year, maybe third year. But I, I, I used to just go up to the, to the, to the counter, man. Go up there, put a little powder, cause it, you know, I like the resin on my hands to make my hands.

• 6:11Travis Kelce?

Was that like a set move?

• 6:12Speaker 05

Yeah, yeah. I just went up there, do a little bit of something, then just went to the game. And then, you know, I started doing a little bit more and then started like doing that towards the scorer's table. And they, I seen them kinda like, you know, getting ready for me to do it. And then I started doing it like this. And I threw it up a little bit one time. It got a little bit more excited. I was like, you know what? Fuck it. I'm just gonna.

• 6:35Travis Kelce?

It's iconic, man. It's fucking iconic.

• 6:38Speaker 04

Hell, yeah. All right. Well, we're gonna give you this right off the bat because I think this is incredible. Super wildcard weekend. The Brown, you've been working with DraftKings.

• 6:47Speaker 05

  Yeah, yeah.

• 6:47Speaker 04

You went five for six. Look at this pick. Look at these picks, champ.

• 6:51Travis Kelce?

Oh, baby. This guy knows some football.

• 6:53Speaker 04

You had the Chargers to win, Baltimore to win, Buffalo to win, Eagles to win, Commanders to win, Rams to win.

• 6:59Travis Kelce?

That's crazy. That's crazy. You're, are you, um, I mean, we knew, we know you played football back in the day at, uh, at St. Vincent St. Mary, man.

• 7:08Speaker 05

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 7:09Travis Kelce?

Has it ever actually like crossed your mind what you could possibly do in the NFL?

• 7:14Speaker 05

  No, absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely.

• 7:17Travis Kelce?

Like, like, has it, have you ever like taken it like a serious thought? Like, man, what if I just did one year?

• 7:22Speaker 05

Yeah. The only time I've like really taken it like super duper serious, I believe was, I think it was 2011, when we had the NBA lockout and, uh, you know, and I didn't know like when we were gonna, uh, make the deal with the, with the owners and, and get our league back going. So I, I, I actually thought about it a little bit back then. I was still young enough, you know, to get out there with y'all. But, um, you know, that's the, that's the only time I've actually seriously considered it. I've had serious dreams about this shit all the time. All the time.

• 7:55Travis Kelce?

All the time. You already know.

• 7:56Speaker 05

And my dream never actually, the, the ball is never kicked off. It's like me in the warmups. It's me coming out, running my routes. And then right when the game started, I was like fucking wake up or some shit. I'm like, okay. Yeah, that lets me know I'm not supposed to be out there.

• 8:11Travis Kelce?

  There you go.

• 8:11Speaker 04

  Timeout. Come on now.

• 8:13Travis Kelce?

The dreams. Yeah, we know exactly where.

• 8:14Speaker 04

Just to let you know, you're still young enough to get out there in the NFL.

• 8:18Travis Kelce?

We can see how you can get up and down the floor.

• 8:22Travis Kelce?

Who do you think your, uh, your biggest comparison would have been on, in the league? Everyone always likes to say Gronk or, or maybe even Calvin Johnson. Do you think?

• 8:29Speaker 04

I was about to say Megatron, probably the closest.

• 8:31Speaker 05

Yeah, yeah. I, I, I, it's probably like a mix between, you know, Gronk or, uh, Randy Moss a little bit, but he's a lot smaller than me. He runs a lot faster, but he's a lot smaller than me. But like Megatron, we kind of have that same like stature as far as build or whatever the case may be.

• 8:43Speaker 04

  Ooh.

• 8:44Speaker 05

Tony Gonzalez, well, him and his size, and obviously he played basketball as well. I used to love his celebration when he used to dunk on the goalposts too.

• 8:51Travis Kelce?

That's what I was trying to say.

• 8:52Speaker 05

Oh, actually I saw you doing too, by the way.

• 8:56Travis Kelce?

I tried. I tried. I might have just snagged backboard on that one. I don't know if I got up there. Just smack the glass.

• 9:03Speaker 05

  Oh my god.

• 9:04Travis Kelce?

  Fly.

• 9:04Speaker 05

I know the NFL had a nerve to fine you for that shit. I'm like, come on, man, relax.

• 9:08Travis Kelce?

You already know, man. It was fine, well, where they actually, Tony G helped me out with that one. He, um, but instead of throwing any money me, I just told him, send it to the foundation.

• 9:16Speaker 05

Yeah, yeah, send it to the foundation.

• 9:18Travis Kelce?

Send it. So shout out to Tony G for that, man.

• 9:19Speaker 05

Sound Tony G. Yeah, give it up, give it up for Tony G. For sure. Yeah.

• 9:24Speaker 04

The only game you missed in that parlay was the Texans Chargers game. What a, I mean, we know you're a big football fan. I guess what is, how do you watch the games? Like, how do you, how do you stay knowledgeable of all this stuff? You're a busy dude, man.

• 9:37Speaker 05

Listen, I try to watch as many, you know, NFL games, you know, college games, you know, high school games. And yeah, I'm very knowledgeable about the game. I remember playing it, obviously, but you know, just watching you guys out there and seeing the way y'all play. It's not just like as a fan, which I'm a fan of the sport, but also kind of like, you know, my IQ about the game. So the Chargers Texans game, I was off on that. I felt like, you know, the Texans, they hadn't played consistent football all year, you know, and obviously losing Stefan Diggs and losing Tank Dale, you know, I just felt like, you know, big pieces and, you know, you know, my boy, uh, you know, uh, um, you know, my boy, you know, CJ Stroud, he's been struggling a little bit this year. He, you know, he had the rookie of the year last year, you know, Ohio State alum, but he was struggling

• 10:21Speaker 05

too, losing those big guys. And I felt like the Chargers was coming in on so much, you know, I felt like they had it. I feel like they had an opportunity, you know, and coaching those guys really well this year, but turnovers, we all know the name of the game and, and sports, especially in football, man, is turnovers. And that defense, uh, for the Texans, they turned them boys over multiple times. You know, that's the game right there.

• 10:45Speaker 04

Yeah. Yeah, their defense balled out.

• 10:47Travis Kelce?

Some tough ones for Herbert too, man. Through some, uh, through some hands and deflections. It's, it's, that's what, those are just daggers, man. You mentioned Ohio State, man. I gotta ask, man, did Tressel ever come and knock on the door?

• 10:59Speaker 05

  No, absolutely.

• 11:00Travis Kelce?

I know basketball was always there, but did Tressel ever come and knock on the door?

• 11:04Speaker 05

Absolutely, man. Uh, Tressel knocked on the door plenty of times. They wanted me to come up there and be a tool, a two sport, uh, player. Travis Hunter, we saw what Travis Hunter did this year, you know, Colorado, but definitely they knocked on the door. It's like if you come down to Ohio State, we want you to play both sides and I would have definitely thought about that. My best friend at the time, Sheon Cotton, went off to Ohio State full ride to Ohio State and he played for Ohio State football. So that'd have been super dope. I could have like roomed with him, played football during the, during the fall, basketball during the winter and spring. So that'd have been dope.

• 11:37Travis Kelce?

Man, Buckeyes, man. That would have been crazy to see you in a Buckeyes jersey.

• 11:41Speaker 05

  That'd have been dope.

• 11:42Travis Kelce?

Maurice Claret was coming from around that Northeast Ohio area too. He was, I believe they had just won it.

• 11:47Speaker 05

Yep, yep. He was, you know, it's crazy, Ohio Mr. Football, when Maurice Claret won his senior year, I was top three in runnings for Mr. Football as well. But he went crazy, man. He went to Warren Harding. Yeah, he went insane his senior year and then his freshman year went on to Ohio State and they was able to beat that juggernaut of the Miami Hurricanes that year, you know, for the national championship. But Maurice Claret was a beast, man, beast.

• 12:16Travis Kelce?

  Was that?

• 12:17Speaker 05

  Absolutely.

• 12:17Travis Kelce?

  Two thousand two, right?

• 12:18Speaker 05

This was two thousand, this would have been two thousand three, four. So they, yeah, yeah, three, four. Yep, yep.

• 12:25Travis Kelce?

Man, oh man. That team would have been nasty.

• 12:30Travis Kelce?

Something that happened over the, over the weekend is, you know, we thought we could relate it to you because you're a big book guy. You're a big, big book guy. A.J. Brown was seen reading a book on the sideline of the game. Did you catch this?

• 12:44Speaker 05

I did catch that. I was watching the game and I did catch that. I can say I've watched the NFL for thirty-five plus years of my life. That's the first time.

• 12:57Speaker 05

I've seen guys eat Skittles, Marshawn Lynch. I've seen guys with the oxygen tanks. I've seen guys meditating. I've seen guys slam helmets. I've seen a lot of shit. That was the first time I've ever seen a book been brought out on the bench. First time.

• 13:13Travis Kelce?

You ever seen that in the NBA?

• 13:15Speaker 05

  No, no, never.

• 13:16Travis Kelce?

  No?

• 13:17Speaker 05

  No.

• 13:17Travis Kelce?

No, no, like, just, uh, just something to ease the mind, just go ahead and read a few passages?

• 13:22Speaker 05

By the way, when A.J. Brown said the reasoning for why he did it, you know what? It was great. And then they showed the clip when Saquon had the touchdown run and he slid. And you see Devonte and A.J. like messing around with him like, man, go score that. He like, no, man, no chill. I was like, chemistry is still there. So, you know, the chemistry is still there. They've been playing good football.

• 13:43Travis Kelce?

  That's all that matters.

• 13:44Speaker 05

You know, I think that's 10 in a row for them. They got it going. So, hey, if it's working for them, let them keep going, man. Whatever, whatever works, you know?

• 13:52Travis Kelce?

  I'm with you on that.

• 13:53Speaker 04

No doubt. What about this Bills, uh, Ravens game? Staying on the topic of these playoff games, man, we got Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson. You had the tweet during the game, uh, Henry, King Henry.

• 14:04Speaker 05

  Yeah, man.

• 14:05Speaker 04

If there's anybody that can call somebody a king, I think we're.

• 14:09Speaker 04

What do you like in this game?

• 14:10Speaker 05

I mean, it's a tough one, man. Obviously, I think Buffalo, you know, has, uh, I don't want to say it's not surprising anymore, but they lost a lot of pieces in the offseason, you know, and a lot on the offensive end, too. And then they lost a lot in their secondary, too. You know, Micah Hyde left and, and Poyer left and, uh, Chudabious, uh, Chudabious White left, you know, and, you know, all those receivers there. So a lot was a lot of like, okay, will they be able to get to this point where they are? Well, they still got Josh Allen and Josh Allen has been, he's been unbelievable. Um, so, you know, for Lamar, listen, this is, this is what they want, you know? This is, uh, this, this is why they grabbed Derrick Henry. This is why they, you know, made the change with the offensive coordinator to be able to

• 14:54Speaker 05

get to the point where they could play either Buffalo or play Travis and them boys. That like, listen, if you want to be crowned, you have to, you know, beat the top teams in the, in the AFC. And the top teams in AFC over the last three, four, five, obviously 20 years, if you're talking KC. And these fucking guys, uh, it's Buffalo or it's KC. So, you know, it's up, it's, this is, you know, in order for Lamar to get to where he says he wants to get, he has to go through Buffalo. He has to go through KC. So, uh, let, let the games begin.

• 15:25Speaker 04

I can't wait to watch that one.

• 15:26Travis Kelce?

Yeah, he's been knocking on the door, man. He has been knocking on the door for sure.

• 15:30Speaker 05

Yeah, he's been knocking on the door, yep.

• 15:32Speaker 04

Henry definitely helps, man. He was running, he was like a Clydesdale running through that hole. He was fresh. I haven't seen him all season. I don't know how.

• 15:38Speaker 05

  Man.

• 15:39Speaker 04

  That was amazing.

• 15:40Speaker 05

Absolutely. It's super, it looks super fresh. Absolutely.

• 15:43Travis Kelce?

King Henry. I've been loving the commercials of you and Kevin Hart, man. I'll tell you what, just when I thought, because it was a celebration one in the middle of the season. I was like, man, every time it came on, I was dying laughing. But the new ones, you guys got some heat, man. You and Kevin are absolutely hilarious together, man. I can't wait to keep seeing these things unfold.

• 16:02Speaker 05

No, absolutely, man. Me and Kev is one of my best friends, man, when it comes to this. And when we get on set, you know, we have a script and then it gets to the point where they, we just like, man, let's just riff and let's see what comes out of it. Let's just do it. And whatever comes out of it because of our chemistry, you know, it's great working with Kev, working with Draft Kings, being able to, you know, do things like that where it's just easy for us. And we knock those things out very easily and they're happy that people love them, you know, because it's definitely fun. It's definitely fun.

• 16:28Travis Kelce?

You already know. I can only imagine how fun it is.

• 16:31Speaker 04

  Cleveland connection is great.

• 16:32Speaker 05

  Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Always.

• 18:09Speaker 04

They've also got Playmaker, sports bar and arcade. So that means games on every screen. I love a good arcade sports place combination.

• 18:31Speaker 04

Well, let's move on to your football career a little bit. We talked about a little bit ago. Receiver at St. Vincent, St. Mary. I believe you're at a four, four, right?

• 18:39Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 18:40Speaker 04

The highlights are incredible, but we need to settle something. We've started this debate. And I'm sure you're aware of what we're about to ask. What is easier to do? An NFL player going to the NBA or an NBA player going to the NFL?

• 18:55Travis Kelce?

From a guy that could, that literally could have played both. You are the, everybody knows you could have done both. So this, this, this, uh, I respect this decision.

• 19:04Speaker 05

This is a great debate and uh, I've been hearing and seeing people's responses and seeing people's questions or whatever. And going back and forth.

• 19:15Speaker 05

I want to say that I think it's easier for a basketball player to try NFL.

• 19:21Speaker 04

  That's no question.

• 19:22Speaker 05

Over the NFL player trying to get into the NBA. I, I, I just, and I know we got some great athletes. I've seen, I've seen Keon Coleman's highlights, uh, when he played, uh, you know, and it's a lot of guys that's played basketball. I've seen Zay Flowers, his high school highlights as well.

• 19:38Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yes.

• 19:38Speaker 05

You know, Zay Flowers, super athletic, fast, quick guard, you know, but I would say basketball to, to football. An NBA guy decides to go play the NFL. Yes, it's going to take a transition period, you know? And for me, it would have been like getting used to being hit again, like. Like I remember just like in high school, I was to go from summerly, uh, from summertime, playing basketball, playing AAU ball, and then going into the fall, I had to get used to getting hit again, like that shit.

• 20:05Travis Kelce?

  First three practices.

• 20:07Speaker 05

Once you put on the shoulder pads and that helmet, it's like getting hit again is the most important thing. And then like, you know, getting the cadence back, you know, getting, getting your routes back and all that. But once you get into a groove, you're like, okay, you know, I got it. It's like riding a bike. Football going to basketball is such more, you know, coordination and, and, and, and running and jumping and it's like consistent, you know, it's consistent.

• 20:31Travis Kelce?

  It's a way different.

• 20:33Speaker 05

It's consistent, you know, with football, you know, you say hike, you know, whatever your cadence is, boom, just quick, quick twitch, you know, and then settle, settle back, reset, quick twitch, settle back, reset.

• 20:43Travis Kelce?

Six seconds at a time, max.

• 20:46Speaker 05

Exactly, six seconds at a time. But in basketball, you could go on for four or five straight minutes with no timeouts, no breaks, and you gotta, you gotta keep your mind fresh, you gotta keep your, you gotta breathe, like you gotta, you know.

• 20:56Travis Kelce?

Jason isn't, Jason isn't, isn't built for that one.

• 20:59Speaker 04

I was about to say, listen, I, I could have definitely played in the NBA, no question about it.

• 21:04Travis Kelce?

Bro, I gotta know, if there was one player outside of yourself, who you think would be able to make the cleanest transition into the NFL, who would it be?

• 21:12Speaker 05

I would say off the top of my head, I would say Russell Westbrook, uh, or Anthony Edwards. Uh, I think Russ would be an unbelievable, uh, strong safety or free safety, you know, his ability to kind of like.

• 21:24Speaker 04

  You think he's playing defense?

• 21:25Speaker 05

I think so. I think so. You know, and Russ, he comes, he comes with that natural aggression off top.

• 21:30Travis Kelce?

  He does.

• 21:31Speaker 05

So, you know, he got, he got that, he got that, that, that Derwin James type aggression. He's, he's, he's trying to hit somebody. And I think, uh, Edwards, I've seen a lot of his, uh, uh, little league football, uh, highlights, and also I think he played in high school as well.

• 21:47Travis Kelce?

Oh, I gotta check those out.

• 21:48Speaker 05

He looked like he could make the transition as well, but off top, I think Russ for sure.

• 21:52Travis Kelce?

Yeah. Anthony Edwards has a bit of that mentality as well.

• 21:56Speaker 05

  Yeah, yeah, for sure.

• 21:56Travis Kelce?

  What I was seeing too.

• 21:57Speaker 05

  Yeah, for sure.

• 21:58Speaker 04

As fellow Ohioans, we gotta talk about Cleveland. Did you know Trav, uh, saw you play when you were in high school?

• 22:02Travis Kelce?

Oh yeah, baby. Cleveland State. Baby.

• 22:04Speaker 04

Have you guys ever talked about this?

• 22:05Speaker 05

Yeah, yeah, I did. We talked about this a couple of times. You came to Cleveland State and watched me rock out, man.

• 22:10Travis Kelce?

Man, I was in, I was, I was in middle school, man. I was just trying to see the king, man. I was trying to see before it went, went pros, man. I wasn't sure if you were gonna land in Cleveland. Luckily, you did, and I got to see you play countless amount of times up at the, the Gund Arena, then the Quicken Loans Arena.

• 22:25Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 22:25Travis Kelce?

But yeah, man, I saw you down at Cleveland State. How many times did you, uh, did you play at Cleveland State? I can think of two off the top of my head, but.

• 22:31Speaker 05

Yeah, yeah. I think I played at Cleveland State prior about five times. You know, I know I played a few times early on in high school and then, uh, definitely a couple of times in my senior year. So it was definitely, it was definitely a, a fun time being up in Cleveland, playing up there. And I even played at the Gund Arena too, my senior year, like, you know, uh, play, we played against Warren, Warrensville Heights, you know, my, my senior year. And, uh, I don't, I don't like to talk about this too much, but my game, my senior year had more fans than the Cavs had that year.

• 23:04Speaker 04

  Oh, there's no question.

• 23:04Speaker 05

I think the only time they had more fans was when MJ played in Cleveland, but, uh.

• 23:09Travis Kelce?

That's too funny, man. That's too funny.

• 23:12Speaker 05

  That was good.

• 23:12Travis Kelce?

I'll tell you what, man, I, for whatever reason, man, I was still like one of the biggest Cavs fans, even though they were the worst team in the league. Darius Miles, Boozer.

• 23:21Speaker 05

Yeah, yeah, yeah. All those goes, yeah.

• 23:23Travis Kelce?

Ricky, Ricky Davis, man, all those guys. You would get a few highlights a game, man, and still be, still be ready.

• 23:29Speaker 05

Oh, yeah, for sure. Yeah, for sure. Like, you knew they was, they didn't win a lot of games, but they gonna give you a couple of plays here. Ricky D, you know, D Miles, Smush Parker, Booze, like all those guys was on that team, you know? It was, it was fun to watch, even though, even though you know they wasn't that successful there, man, but it was fun to watch.

• 23:45Travis Kelce?

Well, you turned them up, baby.

• 23:46Speaker 04

But you bring up a good point with, like, you bringing more fans to the gun than the Cavs did. I don't think people now realize just how big you were in high school. Like, unless you grew up in that, it was, it was so crazy.

• 24:00Travis Kelce?

  Oh, man.

• 24:01Speaker 05

  Right.

• 24:01Speaker 04

The level of expectation and fame that you had at St. Vincent's St. Mary's, like, I, I've never seen anything like that to this day.

• 24:10Speaker 05

No, you're right, Jason. And the funny thing is, like you say, like, and this is before social. Media, so you couldn't really.

• 24:15Travis Kelce?

  That's what it is.

• 24:16Speaker 05

Unless you was there in real time.

• 24:19Travis Kelce?

It was just word of mouth.

• 24:20Speaker 05

You didn't know, it was just word of mouth. It was like, okay, I heard about this kid from Northeast Ohio.

• 24:24Travis Kelce?

  You heard about this kid?

• 24:25Speaker 05

It was like, okay, well, like, who's trying to make a trip to Akron, Ohio? Who's trying to come to Cleveland? It's like, you know, but like, if you happen to be, you know, going to the Kent Football Hall of Fame, or if you happen to be going to Cleveland, to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, or if you was to happen to be in town and I happen to be playing.

• 24:42Travis Kelce?

  It was a show, baby.

• 24:42Speaker 05

And you understood what the hype was all about, you know, why it was so much conversation. So I can only imagine if social media was around there, we would have, like, I don't, it would have been too much for Northeast Ohio at that point.

• 24:54Travis Kelce?

That's interesting, yeah. It's really like you were, you were the last of like that legend era of like word of mouth.

• 25:00Speaker 05

  Yeah, yeah, for sure.

• 25:01Travis Kelce?

Man, back, back when you were playing, when I was playing, like back, guys had to literally be the absolute best to get some sort of highlight tape. If you, if, like, there was nobody just out here just getting, just putting their highlight tape on YouTube and getting looks, or getting clicks.

• 25:18Speaker 05

No, no question, Trav. Like, right now, like, if you, if you, you could be anywhere in the world now, and because of the phones and because of the things you could capture, you could be recruited and get accepted. Back then, when we played, if you didn't have a coach to come see you live, it was gonna be hell.

• 25:36Travis Kelce?

And you showed up that day.

• 25:37Speaker 05

And you had to show up, because they was all over the place. Like, they was not just gonna come and keep coming back if you didn't show up. Like, and you had to perform in front of those coaches, and you knew, you knew those games, that those big time coaches is there too. So it put even more pressure on you to show out, so.

• 25:53Travis Kelce?

  Hell, yeah.

• 25:54Speaker 05

Absolutely. You're right about that, man. We had to, like, us three being Northeast Ohio kids, like, we had to show out when those coaches is there, or we didn't know if they was gonna come back.

• 26:03Travis Kelce?

  Just missed the train, yeah.

• 26:04Speaker 05

Yeah, you missed the train, yep.

• 26:05Speaker 04

Not only were you from the Northeast, you end up going to the Cavs.

• 26:08Speaker 05

  Yeah, yeah.

• 26:08Speaker 04

Bringing the first title to Cleveland.

• 26:10Speaker 05

  Man.

• 26:11Speaker 04

Yeah. What was it? Like, 50 years or whatever?

• 26:14Speaker 05

I think it was 50, 57 year, 57 or something crazy?

• 26:18Travis Kelce?

  57, yeah, exactly.

• 26:19Speaker 04

I was like, fuck, I wasn't, I wasn't alive. I wasn't alive yet. Why, why do I get this pressure?

• 26:27Travis Kelce?

  That's crazy, man.

• 26:28Speaker 04

I do gotta ask, of your four championships, where does the one in Cleveland rank? I mean, the first one, it's hard to top the first one.

• 26:36Travis Kelce?

  Ain't that the truth?

• 26:37Speaker 05

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We all remember our first one, and we know the feeling that we had when we won our first one because of like all the disappointment before that. You know, all the hard work, the dedication, the things that people don't see, the nights that we cry about what the fuck we could have did better in order for us to get that first one. And then you were able to prevail. That first one is so, so special, so, so dear. But man, there's nothing better for me than that Cleveland one, just because of everything, like, like you said, the 50-plus years of no championship in Northeast Ohio. You know, the seven years I was there beforehand, and it took me to leave and to come back to like to understand or appreciate it even more.

• 27:19Speaker 05

Being down 3-1 with the greatest, the greatest team, 73 and 9 Warriors with Steph and K, uh, Klay and Draymond and, you know, and coming back and winning that game and winning that series for the city of Cleveland, for Northeast Ohio. That's why you saw the emotional.

• 27:35Travis Kelce?

You're getting me fired up right now, man.

• 27:37Speaker 05

Hey, man, this is for you. You saw me crying on the court. It was like, it all just like, like that one, 2016. I would become an old man someday. We will all become old men. I know we got great beards. They're gonna be all gray at some point, you know, coming in on the sides.

• 27:56Speaker 04

  Yeah, yeah.

• 27:57Speaker 05

That, that year, that's one year I would never forget, 2016. That, that's, it was an unbelievable time.

• 28:03Travis Kelce?

I came back and went to the parade, man. It was absolutely epic, dog. I appreciate you again for doing it. I know I told you a million times, man.

• 28:10Speaker 05

It's the greatest parade, man. Absolutely.

• 28:12Travis Kelce?

For Cleveland one time, baby. Cleveland would be the only sports town to win a series 3-1, and then baseball, they came back next series.

• 28:20Speaker 05

  Lose three to one.

• 28:21Travis Kelce?

We could have been on top of the world forever, man.

• 28:23Speaker 05

We could have been on top of the world forever, but it's all good. Cleveland, by the way, the Cavs look amazing right now as well. They got another opportunity.

• 28:31Travis Kelce?

  We are rolling.

• 28:32Speaker 05

Yeah, I hope they, I hope they keep it going. They got an opportunity to do something special. So, you know, I'm glad I was able to put on first, set the, set the trend and hopefully we keep it going.

• 28:41Speaker 04

  Go Cavs.

• 28:42Travis Kelce?

  There you go, baby.

• 28:44Speaker 04

Well, now that we're in the NBA, you've went viral a couple of weeks ago, I guess now. Who owns Christmas? According to you, I love the NFL, but Christmas is the NBA's.

• 28:56Speaker 05

  Well, listen.

• 28:57Speaker 04

We are trying to, we are sneaking in on that territory.

• 28:59Speaker 05

Listen, listen, listen, listen, I saw the, I saw the fucking numbers after the fact. You guys kicked our ass, all right? Okay. From a viewership standpoint, y'all kicked our ass. You had, you know, the games weren't as great as they should have been.

• 29:15Speaker 04

  They should, yeah.

• 29:16Speaker 05

Where you have fucking Beyonce come out there.

• 29:18Speaker 04

  I think Beyonce.

• 29:20Speaker 05

You know, you have Mahomes and Travis, you guys go there and kick Pittsburgh's ass and then, you know, and, you know, Beyonce comes out there, you know. But I had, I had, you know, you know, when you go out there, you got your little brother and he may gets beat up one time, you're like, hey, we didn't lose that fight. We didn't, we're staying here. Yeah, we didn't lose, that's how I felt. I had to stand up. I had to stand up for the NBA.

• 29:43Speaker 04

  Hell, yeah.

• 29:47Speaker 04

You've had a couple of huge milestones recently. Recently passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most points in your career.

• 29:53Travis Kelce?

  That's crazy stuff right there.

• 29:55Speaker 04

And, and obviously you and Bronny became the first father-son duo ever to play in a game. I mean, I, what, what career achievement means the most to you? Besides the titles, we already talked about the titles. Like this type of stuff, like, which one is the biggest deal to you?

• 30:09Speaker 05

I think besides the titles, you know, obviously the titles rank right up there. There's something that you, you know, when you, when you get into it, that's all you play for. When you're able to get with a franchise and y'all all believe in the same thing, it's like.

• 30:19Travis Kelce?

  Special, man.

• 30:20Speaker 05

Yeah, we are competing for championships in, every year without a question. And when you're able to accomplish that, it's like, that's exactly what the hard work and dedication for. But for me, you know. Obviously, when it comes to the titles, that's one separate thing, but to be able to be in this league and play in this league and also being able to do it alongside Bronny right now. That's like one of the biggest accomplishments and probably the number one accomplishment I've ever been able to do like to to work with your son. Um, I've heard it from a lot of people and like not not only sports, you know, but I've heard it in business and and walks of life. And that's the greatest thing you could ever, ever have. And, you know, to see him every day, you know, grinding and and going through the going through the process of trying to

• 31:01Speaker 05

become who he wants to become while I am, you know, sitting there and just watching him and doing the things that he wants to do and being able to just take it all in. It helps me get some of the the the minutes and and and hours and years back that I did not have with him because I was playing so much and on the road and doing my own thing. So and traveling, exactly. So to be able to get some of this time back now, man, it's uh it's pretty special.

• 31:24Travis Kelce?

He's handled the hype and the scrutiny and everything so perfect and so well.

• 31:29Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 31:30Travis Kelce?

You had the hype coming out, but it there wasn't the expectations of being of being as great as you and and.

• 31:36Speaker 05

Yeah, and and and I didn't have to deal, you know, we go back to the social media. I didn't have to deal with the social media trolls either growing up.

• 31:43Travis Kelce?

  Oh, that's interesting.

• 31:44Speaker 05

You know, and I didn't have to deal with my father being this fucking guy that's on the pedestal. I have to deal with that. Bronny has to deal with all of that. And if you ever meet Bronny, then you'll realize you'll be like, I'm such an idiot to look down on him or not want him to do great. He is the most chill, easy, fun kid in the world. He goes to work, he goes home, he takes care of his body, he plays his video games, he reads a little bit. And then he comes back and does the same thing. And he he's like the best big brother that his little brother and little sister could ever have. So, you know, but he he's dealing with all that too. So, you know, but that's going to make him, I think it's going to make him to be even greater because

• 32:27Speaker 05

having to deal with all of the things that he's dealing with and still being able to come back from a life threatening situation. And still have that motivation, still have the motivation. He didn't. Have to Bronny doesn't have to play basketball at all. It's not like he needs the money.

• 32:46Travis Kelce?

And he's a smart individual. He's yeah, I mean, he can do whatever he wants to do.

• 32:50Speaker 05

He can do whatever he wants to do. Like if he wants to be the CEO of my company, he could be that. I'll give that start teaching him right now to be that if he wants to, but he's like, this is my career. This is my goals and this is my aspirations and I want to play ball. This is something that I love and I'll. I love that kid. He's awesome. He's awesome.

• 33:08Travis Kelce?

Can't wait to see him. Keep, keep going, man.

• 33:10Speaker 05

  Man, appreciate it.

• 33:11Speaker 04

At what point do you even realize that that's something that can happen? Like I look at my kids. I'm like, bro, that's insane. You're playing with your son in the NBA.

• 33:20Speaker 05

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 33:21Travis Kelce?

You also had your first daughter when you were like thirty.

• 33:24Speaker 04

That's fair, but either way, I just think it's amazing and I don't know. It's gotta be like, at what point do you like, I might be able to actually play in the NBA with my like, was there a moment or like?

• 33:36Speaker 05

I, it was, you know what? It's a video clip of me. I was, that somebody sent to me not too long ago. I think it was about seven years ago. And it's so weird. It's either seven or five years ago or whatever. I think Bronny was either in the seventh or eighth grade. Um, and it was my fifteenth year in the NBA and I felt incredible. I think that was the year I played all eighty-two games. I played every playoff game. I think I played like a hundred and five games total that year. And I came out of that season. I felt so damn good. And I think somebody caught me like, you know, do you ever think that there's a possibility that you may stick around to possibly play with one of your kids? I was like, man, the way I feel right now, there is a possibility.

• 34:17Speaker 04

And just hit you right there.

• 34:18Speaker 05

It hit me right then and there and God, God willing and damn bat crazy shit to me, it happened.

• 34:26Speaker 04

  Yes, absolutely.

• 34:27Speaker 05

It absolutely happened. But uh, yeah, it's pretty cool, man.

• 34:30Speaker 04

Dude, yeah, that's awesome. All right. Well, we're going to get to this. We got to ask, but you don't have to answer second. We're going to rattle off a bunch of questions. Feel free.

• 34:40Speaker 05

  Love it.

• 34:40Speaker 04

  Tell us the fuck off.

• 34:41Travis Kelce?

Yeah, just tell us the fuck off, man. We got, we got it. We got to know the answers to these ones.

• 34:46Speaker 04

Yeah, we usually end all of our conversations with this. So we got a list of questions. Again, you do not have to answer, but we do have to answer, ask them. There's a story about you playing in an infamous pickup game with Michael Jordan when you were 16 years old. What was it like? Is that true? Like, can you tell us how you played? Yeah.

• 35:06Speaker 05

So when I finally was able to get on the court, first of all, MJ, Antoine Walker, and the rest of those guys did not let young guys get on the court at all. And I was 16 years old. I was sophomore in high school and it takes a while to get on the court. It's usually when the older guys, they get tired and they don't want to play no more. They like, whatever. But I did. And I was able to get on the court alongside, I was on the court with Michael Jordan, Antoine Walker, Penny Hardaway, Ron Artest, Michael Finley, all these guys.

• 35:37Travis Kelce?

  Who guarded you?

• 35:39Speaker 05

Nobody. I was, I was unguardable.

• 35:44Speaker 05

  Listen, I was, I was 16. There's a, there's a.

• 35:51Travis Kelce?

  Was 16 the baby fro?

• 35:52Speaker 05

Yep, that was the baby fro. I was in Chicago at MJ's court. It was called Hoops. There's a clip out right now of actually Metal World Peace talking about that moment as well. Like.

• 36:02Travis Kelce?

Oh, man, I gotta check it out.

• 36:04Speaker 05

When I finally got out there, I was like, I'm busting ass, man.

• 36:07Travis Kelce?

  It's time to show up.

• 36:09Speaker 05

I was nervous as hell, like being out there with MJ and the rest of those guys, but I'm like.

• 36:12Travis Kelce?

  Are you kidding me?

• 36:13Speaker 05

I was like, oh, I'm, I'm about to go crazy. And I, and I did, I did, man.

• 36:17Travis Kelce?

  That's awesome, man.

• 36:18Speaker 05

  I did.

• 36:19Speaker 04

  That's awesome.

• 36:20Travis Kelce?

Man, I wish I was in that gym that day. That's crazy stuff, man. Well, you see all these shoes behind me, man. You already know I'm a sneaker head.

• 36:27Speaker 05

  Oh, I know, I know.

• 36:28Travis Kelce?

I've collected them over the years, man. Was it always Nike? I, you used to wear the T-Max, it's same Vincent, same Mary. I see, I think I seen you wear the, the old Iversons. Was it always Nike?

• 36:39Speaker 05

Trav, no, it was not. It was not always Nike. It was Nike when I was a. Young kid when I was a young lad, obviously, you know, you, you know, I've been in love with Michael Jordan my whole life. So you know, I saw him, uh, Penny Hardaway, you know, Ken Griffey Jr., Bo Jackson. I watched all these unbelievable sports figures. So as a kid growing up, it was Nike. Once I got into the AAU program, started playing basketball, Adidas took us over.

• 37:03Speaker 04

  Hmm.

• 37:04Speaker 05

You know, and it became Adidas. It was Adidas like from seventh, eighth grade to pretty much my junior, senior year. They sponsored us every year. We played in all the Adidas tournaments. Big time tournament in Vegas and all over, uh, the United States of America. So it was, it was Adidas. And then my senior year, the process began, the recruitments, the, the Nikes came in and Adidas was still there. Reebok came in.

• 37:31Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 37:31Speaker 05

And one, uh, you know, all these companies came in and I took on three, um, pitches. I did Adidas pitch. I did a Reebok pitch. I did a Nike pitch. The best pitch that I got, where I thought I was going to end up was actually Reebok at one point.

• 37:50Speaker 04

  Reebok.

• 37:51Speaker 05

I went to their meeting. I went to their meeting, uh, and I sat down across from their CEO and the guys that was running basketball. At the time, I don't know if you guys remember this, but Reebok had the NFL as well.

• 38:04Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 38:05Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 38:05Speaker 04

That's what it was when I first got into the league.

• 38:07Speaker 05

They had the NFL as well. So they, you know, they knew my love. They knew my love for, for football as well. So they had all the NFL jerseys, all the Pro Bowl looking jerseys that was going to be the next year. And, um, I'm sitting across from the table. I'm a senior in high school. I actually have to have, I actually go to, I'm going to back to class the next day. They flew me in. I'm going back to St. Vincent, St. Mary the next day, my senior year. And the guy slides over a check to me at the end of the table. It's me and my mom and Maverick Carter at the end of the table. And he says, if, if you don't go talk to any other companies, this is yours. And I look at it.

• 38:48Speaker 05

  I look at it.

• 38:52Speaker 05

  Ten million fucking dollars.

• 38:54Travis Kelce?

  Oh.

• 38:57Speaker 05

  Ten million.

• 38:58Travis Kelce?

Just right there as an 18 year old, I was still stealing change out of my dad's fucking piggy bank. To go get some candy and shit.

• 39:04Speaker 05

I was a high school senior, man. They gave me a check for 10 million dollars and if I promised not to go see anybody else. I told him I need a break. They stepped out. I need to fucking break.

• 39:14Travis Kelce?

  I can't believe it. I can't believe it.

• 39:16Speaker 05

  Yeah, right. I sat there.

• 39:18Speaker 04

  I need a timeout.

• 39:19Speaker 05

My mom looked at it and me and my mom, we're living in an apartment and, you know, section eight housing in Akron. I'm going back. I don't have shit, whatever. And my mom looked at me. She said, son, trust your gut. If they're offering you this, then who knows what the other companies may offer you.

• 39:39Travis Kelce?

Okay, mom. Yeah, ma. She's composed.

• 39:42Speaker 05

Yeah, she's super composed. She's like, we ain't got shit already. So it's not like, you know, it changes our life at this moment. Yes, maybe in the future, but I want you to trust your gut and do what you think is right.

• 39:57Travis Kelce?

  That's awesome advice, man.

• 39:59Speaker 05

So they came back in, both. I said, uh, thank you. I will, you know, I will definitely like to continue our conversation, but I would be remiss if I did not take those other pitches from the other companies. I may have cried on the way home because I had to leave.

• 40:15Travis Kelce?

Your question, man, I hope I just made the right decision.

• 40:18Speaker 05

I was like, I could have bought the building that me and my mom was living in for that goddamn money.

• 40:22Travis Kelce?

  What? Easily. You already know.

• 40:24Speaker 04

I got a similar, my rookie year or my rookie contract, I'm coming up, I'm redoing my rookie contract. And I decide a potential, I'm like, okay, I think I might do this myself. I might forego it to be my own agent and negotiate my own contract. And thankfully my agents were like, they talked me into like, no, no, no, we need to, you're going to want an agent, trust me. They sent over the first offer and I was like, all right, where do we sign? They're like, no, no, no, no.

• 40:51Speaker 04

We could get it. We could go high. We could go high.

• 40:54Speaker 05

Oh, man. That's funny as shit.

• 40:56Speaker 04

Yeah, that first time you get a check like that thrown in front of you is you never forget.

• 41:01Speaker 05

You never seen it. Never seen that many zeros in your life. Never, never, never.

• 41:05Speaker 04

  Yes, yes.

• 41:06Speaker 05

  Man, that's too funny.

• 41:08Speaker 04

Have you seen this tweet from 2015? LeBron is 30. This fuckery won't go on for much longer. Thank God.

• 41:19Speaker 05

Yes, I saw that tweet throughout my, all of my 30s. All of my 30s. And I laughed at it so hard.

• 41:27Speaker 04

You put it in the locker and you just put it right there like?

• 41:29Speaker 05

And you don't want to know what's funny? When I turned 40, the same fucking guy said LeBron turned 40. This fuckery won't go on much longer.

• 41:40Speaker 05

  That's fucking gold, man.

• 41:41Speaker 04

So good. So good. Look at that. That's so good.

• 41:46Speaker 05

Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness. He's gonna be real upset when I turn 50. No doubt. No doubt. That shit was fucking classic, man. Bro, did you ever hoop in a Heights gym? I don't think I hooped at Heights gym, man. I don't think so. You know what? I was actually thinking about that. And if I, I don't, I know it was never a game. I never played Cleveland Heights and Cleveland Heights, but I might have been there for maybe a summer league game or just for a run or something. Man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Either way, man, it's Northeast Ohio forever.

• 42:20Speaker 04

I want to ask one more question, and I know you've talked about this before. How did you do this? From the expectations that were on your feet, Trav, you touched on this, like, I've just never seen anybody, and I don't know that I ever will, handle every step of the way with such, just like, class and grace. Like, I don't know, man. It's just been remarkable to watch the whole journey and to see the whole thing happen. And I know it's not over yet and keep on going, but.

• 42:46Speaker 05

  I appreciate it, man.

• 42:48Speaker 04

What is the wisdom? What's the wisdom to anybody else?

• 42:51Speaker 05

Listen, Jay, Trav, man, one, knowing where I came from, you know, you come from Hack, you come from Cleveland, you come from Northeast Ohio, you know that you are. One or two and three and a billion. And if you get that opportunity, man, you one, you can't, you can't fuck it up. You just can't. Yeah, gotta lock in, man. You know, being from a, you know, single parent household and, and all, and just me and my mom, I have no siblings. You know, seeing the struggle that my mom went through and, and things of that nature, that was another thing that I was like, okay, you can't fuck her up, like you just can't, you know, because now you're given this opportunity. Yeah. Then I started thinking about my, my career. I was like, what do you want to be? And, and how do you want to be remembered? Like, do you want to just go out and just play ball?

• 43:36Speaker 05

Or do you actually want to be remembered when you're not playing ball? So like, I, I took that into consideration. I took that into serious account. I was like, I want to be the greatest that anyone has ever seen in the sport ever. And then I was like, okay, but in order for that to happen, not only do I got to put the work in on the court, I have to make sure that I take care of the business off the court as well. Like you can't be a shit show. You can't be a piece of shit. You can't be doing things that affects anything that has anything to do with your profession and being available to your teammates, being available to the franchise, being available every time you get out there that causes distraction. I, I felt that. And when I started to start my family, that was another part. And I knew Savannah was the one. I started having kids. I was like,

• 44:20Speaker 05

I didn't have that male influence. My dad wasn't around. I was like, okay, I can't fuck that up. So like, I, I, I, all of this is like piling on, piling on and piling on. And yes, with the weight of the world on my shoulders, um, I remember I did a, a, an interview. I wasn't even in the NBA yet. I think I had just got drafted. I did an interview with like Bob Costas or something. I think it was him. And he said like, how does it feel to know that if you, if you're not a first round ballot Hall of Famer, people will look at you, look at you as a failure? I was like, God. Crazy. I said, first ballot Hall of Famer. I'm like, I'm like 18 years. 18 years old. I haven't even played the game yet. Like people look at me as a failure. I was like that. I was like, oh shit. You haven't even thought about that. I haven't even thought about that.

• 45:02Speaker 05

Oh my God. They, there's people out here that really want me to fail. Oh my goodness. And I, and I use that as motivation. I was like, I got something for y'all. I got something for y'all. So man, it's a lot, but it's also just like to the, to the young guys out there that feel the pressure that, that, you know, feel like it's maybe too much. Like if you just put the work in, don't be an asshole, be a good person, you know, and dedicate yourself to the craft. The game will always be kind to you. That always take care of your body. Eat well, you know, uh, give your faith, you know, to the higher above because we're, we're nothing without them. Um, obviously, and just be a good person, man. It's not hard. It's not hard to say, uh, thank you. You're welcome.

• 45:46Speaker 05

How you doing? Have a good day. All that type of good shit like.

• 45:48Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah.

• 45:49Speaker 05

It's nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong.

• 45:50Travis Kelce?

Leading your life in the right direction, baby.

• 45:52Speaker 05

There it is. There it is.

• 45:53Travis Kelce?

  You get rewarded.

• 45:53Speaker 05

Yeah, you get rewarded every time.

• 45:55Speaker 04

It's been inspirational the whole way, uh, not just as a player, but I mean, off the field, what you've done from a business side. Like, like Trav, I know you know this, but the impact you've had on players, not just in basketball, but other sports who have seen the success you've had all walks of life.

• 46:12Travis Kelce?

Empire you've, you've created around yourself, the, the trust you've been able to have with the people around you. I mean, all that stuff. I, you know, I've taken notes since the, since the jump, man. I keep a lot of people, uh, very similar to me, uh, close to me and, uh, and around me in the business profession. Um, and I took notes from you on it. So I appreciate you doing, doing the right things always and forever. And, uh, appreciate you coming on tonight, man. Thank you for taking the time.

• 46:40Speaker 05

That's our new highs went to a new height today, baby.

• 46:42Travis Kelce?

Let's go, baby. Let's go. Got the king, man. Thank you very much, dog.

• 46:47Speaker 05

I love you, boys, man. Absolutely.

• 46:49Travis Kelce?

  So much love for you.

• 46:50Speaker 05

Best of luck to you in the next, uh, next game, man. I'll be watching.

• 46:54Travis Kelce?

You know, we get after it.

• 46:55Speaker 05

Yes, I already know. I already know. All right, my guys, love.

Holy shit. Man, it's just never enough time with my guy, man.

• 49:18Speaker 04

  I mean, that flew by.

• 49:19Travis Kelce?

Just want to just grill him. I just want to grill. And I never want to grill him and whenever I'm hanging out with him. Like, I never want to just bring up.

• 49:27Speaker 04

  Not bringing up nothing.

• 49:27Travis Kelce?

So was Nike always, you know what I mean? Just like.

• 49:31Speaker 04

  Put him on the spot.

• 49:33Travis Kelce?

If you had any advice for someone getting into business venture.

• 49:38Speaker 04

Perfect, perfect. That's what I was gonna do. Yeah.

• 49:39Travis Kelce?

Just keep grilling him. Uh, man, he's the best though, man.

• 49:44Speaker 04

  No doubt.

• 49:44Travis Kelce?

What a good dude, man. Ah, that was, uh, the, the, the Cleveland kid in me. Whenever we talk to just some Northeast Ohio guys or girls, it's just, it just comes out of me. I feel like I'm like 15 all over again. It's fun stuff right there.

• 50:00Speaker 04

  There is flour everywhere.

• 50:02Travis Kelce?

Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. You're like George Washington.

• 50:09Speaker 04

  Oh, look, it's George.

• 50:10Travis Kelce?

Quick divisional round. Look ahead. Let's talk a little football. Uh, even though we just talked to the previous week with LeBron and DraftKings. Any surprises for, from you specifically on, uh, on, on last week's matchups and the outcomes?

• 50:25Speaker 04

Nothing that's, I mean, in the playoffs, anybody can win. That's why it's the playoffs, right? So nothing that's surprising.

• 50:30Travis Kelce?

  Playoffs.

• 50:31Speaker 04

You know, Tampa was one of my sleeper teams. I really thought Baker Mayfield, the only part of the season where they dipped down a little bit was when Evans and Godwin got hurt.

• 50:41Travis Kelce?

And they weathered that storm pretty well.

• 50:43Speaker 04

I keep thinking Washington doesn't have the roster this year and they keep proving me wrong. So I'm gonna stop thinking that. You know what I mean? Like I just, I keep thinking they're just a year away from having the guys to really get it done. But man, Dan Quinn, Jaden Daniels has been playing out of his mind all year.

• 51:00Travis Kelce?

He's taking care of the ball, man.

• 51:01Speaker 04

And they're stopping the run. I thought Bucky Irving was gonna have a hell of a day and he played well, but I don't know. I keep thinking that there's, you know, somebody's gonna have a game where they just kind of dominate the trenches on both sides of the ball and it's just not happening. Tampa Bay didn't play bad. Like it was a good game. Uh, they had a couple of mistakes at the end that really hurt them. But Washington also was, I mean, they had a couple of fourth down calls that like kept Tampa in it. You know what I mean? Like I think the, the Washington punt, they're putting like what? None?

• 51:32Travis Kelce?

No times, no, no punts, no, no turnovers.

• 51:35Speaker 04

They were, they were moving the ball. They were putting together sustained drives. Like I've been impressed with Washington all year, but I, I didn't think that this would be their year to compete with the big dogs. And I've been proven wrong, clearly. Jaden Daniels has had a tremendous season. Their whole defense has been galvanized on a organization and team that I think has lacked a lot of, you know, hope and like leadership a little bit in like with the whole Dan Snyder thing. And I think Rivera is a phenomenal coach. I just, it felt like that organization was missing something. And for this to turn around this quickly has been remarkable. Shout out to all those guys, man. And Bobby Wagner is still playing lights out. It's been awesome to watch. My man Zach Ertz is out there balling.

• 52:18Travis Kelce?

Ertzy, man, I love seeing him get after, uh, still in his career, man.

• 52:23Speaker 04

For sure. You know, shout out to Baker on a great year. I know it's not the way those guys wanted it. I'm just happy that he's found a home down there in Tampa playing well.

• 52:31Travis Kelce?

I mean, uh, I'm right there with you. I thought that was, uh, that was the one upset that, uh, that I didn't see coming. And, um, they got a, they got a really, I mean, I think they, they're the ones playing the Lions, right?

• 52:40Speaker 04

They're playing the Lions this week. This will be a big one.

• 52:42Travis Kelce?

Yeah. I mean, if you can stop the run.

• 52:45Speaker 04

Bro, well, this is the one, like, I don't know, man. I just, they play so well. Like, they're so well coached on offense and defense, Washington and Detroit. But they, like, every time I think they're gonna get run on, Dan Quinn and this defensive line shows up, Bobby Wagner starts making plays. Like, the Eagles had a couple big counter runs on them early the last time they played Washington. Saquon had a big run. He was like over 100 yards in the first, like, quarter, damn near. And then, right after that, you see Bobby start scraping over the top of the tight end and ruining that play.

• 53:19Travis Kelce?

  It's a vet, man.

• 53:20Speaker 04

To put it in, Jonathan Gannon used to use this word all the time. They're salty, man. They find a way to get it done. They're resilient group. Um, and now they find themselves, uh, you know, playing in the divisional round. And it's been an incredible year for Washington. I mean, I would be beyond shocked if they get it done against Detroit this week, too. But, I mean, at some point, it's just, they're having a great year. The quarterback is playing really well. They're well coached and it seems like they're a great group together. So kudos to Washington for getting it done.

• 53:52Travis Kelce?

Shout out to the commanders, baby. Let's, uh, let's, speaking of next week, let's go ahead and talk some, uh, some divisional around, uh, football, baby.

• 54:01Speaker 04

Okay, okay. Well, we got Chiefs Texans. Um, how do you feel? 25 days since you last played on Christmas? How about that? You gotta feel pretty fresh.

• 54:10Travis Kelce?

Well, I mean, I've, I've been getting after it. I've been getting after it. Never, never too fresh. You gotta keep the wear and tear on the body. You can't let your body get out of the zone. You know what I mean? You gotta stay in the zone. You gotta, that's why we were in pads this week. We had one, one practice in pads and, uh, we got after it ones on ones a little bit and that keeps you in the groove, right? That keeps you feeling football. Um, it keeps you, um, kinda having that endurance, that muscle memory that you need to, to come out and, and, and play fast, man. But, uh, the Texans, I mean, you wanna talk about playing fast, that D-line, that defense, um, it's, it's

• 54:44Speaker 04

  Man.

• 54:44Travis Kelce?

It's the real deal right there. And, uh, and they showed it, they showed it this past weekend against the Chargers and what they can do. Um, and they can create turnovers. Um, they're a tough team. They're a tough team, man. And, uh, I'm excited for the challenge, man.

• 54:57Speaker 04

Their secondary is very good. They can match up with pretty much any team in the league. Their defensive line plays very aggressive. They're well coached with D'Amico Ryans. Um, I, you know, Matt Burke, dude, it's crazy how many staff members I know for the Texans. D'Amico Ryans I played with. Burke, the DC was with me in Philly with Jim Schwartz. Uh, Corey Unlen was with me in Philly. Billy Davis was the DC with Chip. Nate Ollie's the defensive line coach. Like dude, I know the entire fucking defensive staff. I was, I was doing one of their games and he just kept walking by. I'm like, goddamn, you all motherfuckers are over here. They're well coached. They play physical. They play fast.

• 55:37Speaker 04

They got a great group. Really do. So it's gonna be a challenge for you guys. Shout out to Houston and, uh, good luck this week. You got any, what's, what's, what's the keys to victory?

• 55:46Travis Kelce?

The keys to victory, man. I haven't fucking heard about that. Uh, play physical. Um,

• 55:51Speaker 04

  Just give the

• 55:52Travis Kelce?

  Don't turn the ball over.

• 55:53Speaker 04

Don't turn the ball. All over. Get out to a fast start.

• 56:02Speaker 04

It's like the head coach for the keys of victory just has like a, a running like seven list of like what it could possibly be. And it's just, how do I rearrange into three keys? Turnovers is always there. Take care of the football.

• 56:16Travis Kelce?

  Which I mean playoff football.

• 56:18Speaker 04

Control the line of scrimmage. You gotta control the line of scrimmage.

• 56:21Travis Kelce?

Big boys up front. You guys control this thing. That's, uh, that's going to indicate the outcome right there.

• 56:25Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 56:26Travis Kelce?

No, man. Got to play, play complimentary, all three phases. Got to play together. Like it's, it's football. It's not that hard, ladies and gentlemen. Everybody knows that those are the things that you gotta do.

• 56:35Speaker 04

Okay. So the same thing that works every week for victory's got it. Okay. Do those.

• 56:38Travis Kelce?

The one, Jason. That's the one. No, uh, obviously this team plays very, very well together, man. And, uh, it's going to take all, all 11 on the field. Yeah. I just said these, another one of them.

• 56:51Speaker 04

You can't, you can't stop. Like it always comes down to that.

• 56:54Travis Kelce?

It's just the same thing every single time. Um, no, man.

• 56:58Speaker 04

Gotta punch him right in the mouth.

• 57:01Travis Kelce?

Well, let's talk a little Eagles, Rams.

• 57:03Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 57:04Travis Kelce?

Rams coming into town. You think Saquon scores instead of slides this week?

• 57:08Speaker 04

Dude, I was like, just go score, baby. And I, what was, he's like, I didn't want to put the defense back out on the field. Is that was the, uh?

• 57:15Travis Kelce?

I mean, yeah, you never know what happens.

• 57:17Speaker 04

  It's very unselfish.

• 57:19Travis Kelce?

I remember a play, similar play happening where we ended up scoring a touchdown. The defense goes back out there and somebody gets banged up and misses the next week. So it's like, yeah, I mean, I get it. I'm going down with the one though.

• 57:30Speaker 04

Yeah. Get all of my yards I can, but then I mean, I don't know. Man, that's why he's where he's at. I'm here. Uh, anyways.

• 57:38Travis Kelce?

  Selfless, selfless. Absolutely selfless, man.

• 57:41Speaker 04

And he's been like that the whole year. Um, so he's just the ultimate team player. I expect nothing less. Definitely would have scored if it was me, but you know, that's why I don't play running back in the NFL and get 2,000 yards.

• 57:54Travis Kelce?

There you go. You did average nine yards to carry though in high school.

• 57:57Speaker 04

Oh, yeah. You can, you got a little.

• 57:58Speaker 04

I ran all over that turf over in Lakewood.

• 58:02Speaker 04

I was flying on that AstroTurf.

• 58:04Travis Kelce?

These kids nowadays don't know what turf is.

• 58:07Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 58:08Travis Kelce?

He's that, you ever heard of AstroTurf? It's carpet over a parking lot.

• 58:11Speaker 04

  People don't even know.

• 58:13Travis Kelce?

It's carpet over a parking lot.

• 58:15Speaker 04

People call, uh, what we play on now turf, an AstroTurf. I'm like, no, this is different. This is field turf.

• 58:20Travis Kelce?

No, this is completely different. All right. You don't.

• 58:23Speaker 04

This isn't carpet. You don't have to put strips of tape so that your skin doesn't get scrubbed off.

• 58:29Travis Kelce?

We bring extra bottles. When the, when the trainers bring extra bottles of, of, uh, was it peroxide?

• 58:36Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 58:36Travis Kelce?

All right. Because we're fucking all day, just fucking dumping it on wounds.

• 58:40Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 58:40Travis Kelce?

Everybody leaves with a raspberry. If you didn't leave with a raspberry, I don't want you playing.

• 58:45Speaker 04

But I'll tell you what, when you're young and it doesn't hurt your joints, it's fun because you're fast. You are flying on that stuff.

• 58:49Travis Kelce?

You are fast. Yeah. Everyone, everyone brings, uh, tennis shoes instead of cleats. It's like a reminder to everybody the day before, and don't come with your cleats tomorrow, guys.

• 59:00Speaker 04

I had those little nubs. I had like actual AstroTurf cleats.

• 59:04Travis Kelce?

  Dude, yeah.

• 59:04Speaker 04

  Those are the best.

• 59:05Travis Kelce?

  Yeah. Well, that's impressive.

• 59:08Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 59:09Travis Kelce?

No, I had, I just had basketball shoes.

• 59:11Speaker 04

  It works too.

• 59:12Travis Kelce?

  There you go.

• 59:13Speaker 04

But yeah, no, I'm excited about this game. I mean, the Rams, obviously, I was just there this Monday. They played a phenomenal game against the Vikings, Matthew Stafford. They're clicking on all cylinders right now, uh, in LA. So it's going to be a great game. It's in the link. The Eagles got the better of the Rams last time they played, but the Rams have, have been, have been getting better. They, they played so fast this past week. Um, and I don't know if it was having the week off, the week before where they rested some of their starters. Uh, but they, they look like a very, very good football team right now.

• 59:46Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah.

• 59:46Speaker 04

Matthew's still slinging that ball as good as he ever has.

• 59:49Travis Kelce?

  Slinging it around out there.

• 59:51Speaker 04

So, yeah, it's gonna be a tough game for, for the Eagles, but yeah, it'll be a fun one.

• 59:55Travis Kelce?

Let's keep this thing moving, man. Hopefully we can, uh, get this dub this weekend, man, and keep our, uh, playoff hopes alive, baby.

• 1:00:01Speaker 04

  Heyo.

• 1:00:02Travis Kelce?

  Super Bowl hopes alive.

• 1:00:03Speaker 04

Finally, last week, we promised, uh, we would do a blind ranking of Will Ferrell movies this episode.

• 1:00:09Travis Kelce?

Oh, yeah. Let's get it going, baby.

• 1:00:12Speaker 04

That's right. So, uh, interim Brandon. Please, uh, do the honors. I'm trying to remember all of Will's movies. He's got so many.

• 1:00:19Speaker 06

So pulled these off of his top 10 on IMDb. So.

• 1:00:24Speaker 04

Is this in order? Are we seeing one?

• 1:00:25Speaker 06

No, no, you're seeing them. These are his numbers. These are just, numbers don't mean anything right now. Just the first, first movie, please.

• 1:00:31Speaker 04

I kind of feel like you would have gone in order.

• 1:00:34Speaker 06

You don't, you're sneakier than that. Give me some fucking credit. Uh, movie number one, Step Brothers.

• 1:00:43Travis Kelce?

  Fuck.

• 1:00:44Speaker 04

This is a top, this is definitely a top, if not one, it's top three. I'm trying to figure what's better than Step Brothers.

• 1:00:50Travis Kelce?

Dude, it's so fucking good. Like I could watch it right the fuck now, which is damn near every movie Will's in, but.

• 1:00:58Speaker 04

  I know.

• 1:00:59Travis Kelce?

  I'm going.

• 1:01:00Speaker 06

  Fuck.

• 1:01:01Speaker 04

It feels weird to put the first movie we see at number one.

• 1:01:05Speaker 06

  That's a risk.

• 1:01:06Travis Kelce?

  But we wouldn't be wrong.

• 1:01:07Speaker 06

  That's a risk.

• 1:01:08Speaker 04

No, it's definitely not wrong. I mean, this is a lot of people's number ones. It might be my number one. I'm trying to like, I love old school. I really do love old school, Step Brothers.

• 1:01:16Travis Kelce?

But that, I feel like that wasn't as much.

• 1:01:18Speaker 04

Gets better and better every time. And Anchorman, I, I'm sorry.

• 1:01:22Travis Kelce?

If this is, if this is Will, if this is Will Ferrell, a movie like old school, he wasn't the lead.

• 1:01:27Speaker 04

That's fair. That's fair to say.

• 1:01:28Travis Kelce?

You know what I mean? Like, although he did, he did, he made probably the most impression on me as a kid, as Frank the Tank.

• 1:01:37Speaker 04

Like, does he get considered, like is Wedding Crashers a Will Ferrell movie? Even though he's not the, the main, uh, guy.

• 1:01:45Travis Kelce?

  Wedding Crashers.

• 1:01:46Speaker 04

  He's, mom, the meatloaf.

• 1:01:48Travis Kelce?

Oh yeah. No, you can't put him in there.

• 1:01:50Speaker 04

He's in a lot of ones.

• 1:01:51Travis Kelce?

When I think of Wedding Crashers, I don't think of Will.

• 1:01:53Speaker 04

Yeah, you think of Vince Vaughn, think of, uh, uh, god dang, what's the other guy with the crooked nose?

• 1:01:58Speaker 06

  Wilson.

• 1:01:59Travis Kelce?

  Owen.

• 1:02:00Speaker 04

  Wilson, Owen Wilson.

• 1:02:01Travis Kelce?

  The crooked nose. Jesus, Jason.

• 1:02:02Speaker 04

I'm gonna put it at two or three, just because I think Anchorman's my favorite movie. Anchorman's my favorite.

• 1:02:07Travis Kelce?

I lo-, I love it. Let's go two.

• 1:02:09Speaker 04

  All right, two.

• 1:02:10Speaker 06

  Second movie up.

• 1:02:11Speaker 04

We're thinking, we're gonna forget about one. Talladega. You're in my wheelhouse right now, Brandon. You are in my fucking wheelhouse.

• 1:02:17Travis Kelce?

I mean, this gotta be three. If we're going Anchorman's one, this is gotta be three.

• 1:02:20Speaker 04

And it's one of those that every time you see it, it just gets better.

• 1:02:24Travis Kelce?

  Fuck, you're right.

• 1:02:25Speaker 04

  God, it's so good.

• 1:02:28Travis Kelce?

It's gotta be three. It can't be one.

• 1:02:30Speaker 04

I'm just curious what else is on this list. He's had so many movies. It's hard to remember all of them all like off the top of your head. I got, I think it's either three or four. I can't go lower than that.

• 1:02:40Travis Kelce?

Yeah, it's three. I'm going three. It's two if it's not one.

• 1:02:45Speaker 04

  It's so, it's so fantastic.

• 1:02:47Travis Kelce?

  So it's gotta be three.

• 1:02:48Speaker 04

I love The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

• 1:02:50Speaker 06

Next movie. Oh, so good. The Other Guys.

• 1:02:54Speaker 04

  Great movie. Great movie.

• 1:02:55Travis Kelce?

Damn it. This is go four. Fuck. There's so many good ones.

• 1:02:59Speaker 04

This one's more of an underrated one. And I don't exactly know why, because it's absolutely incredible.

• 1:03:05Travis Kelce?

  It is so good.

• 1:03:06Speaker 04

I'm gonna say it's below Elf and Anchorman for me. I also think it's probably below Old School, even though he's not the main in Old School. It's just more of an iconic movie. Like this one never got the level of notoriety that all the other ones did for whatever reason. And I don't really know why.

• 1:03:24Travis Kelce?

  I don't really.

• 1:03:24Speaker 04

  Because it was absolutely hilarious.

• 1:03:26Travis Kelce?

Movie reviewer ratings. I just watched the movies and this is up there for me. So.

• 1:03:31Speaker 04

I'm going six. I'm going six.

• 1:03:34Travis Kelce?

  No, that's gotta be five.

• 1:03:36Speaker 04

All right, I'll go five. I'll go five. I'll concede.

• 1:03:39Travis Kelce?

His movies are so good that I can't even imagine putting anything at 10.

• 1:03:44Speaker 04

This is where we're gonna have to start putting some of these movies down there, Travis.

• 1:03:47Travis Kelce?

We have to. All right, next one.

• 1:03:49Speaker 06

  Next movie. Old School.

• 1:03:53Travis Kelce?

This, see, just, I'm just because it's. God, he's front and center.

• 1:03:58Speaker 06

  Frank the Tank.

• 1:03:59Travis Kelce?

  Tank.

• 1:04:00Speaker 06

He goes streaking to the quad.

• 1:04:01Travis Kelce?

  You're fucking crazy, man.

• 1:04:03Speaker 06

Do you think KFC's still open?

• 1:04:04Travis Kelce?

You're fucking crazy. I love you.

• 1:04:07Speaker 04

  We're going streaking!

• 1:04:08Travis Kelce?

But you're fucking crazy. Yeah, Frank, the whole town knows you had a good time last night.

• 1:04:12Speaker 04

I think, I think Elf and Anchorman are one and four. Those are the two that we gotta leave.

• 1:04:16Travis Kelce?

  Not four. No.

• 1:04:18Speaker 04

No, I'm saying Elf and Anchorman are one and four.

• 1:04:20Travis Kelce?

I'm saying seven. I'm saying this is seven.

• 1:04:23Speaker 04

  Old School is seven?

• 1:04:24Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, I'm saying.

• 1:04:24Speaker 04

Just because he's not the main?

• 1:04:26Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:04:26Speaker 04

I just, if I'm just rating the movie, I'd put it up higher. Can we go six?

• 1:04:31Travis Kelce?

No, dude, there's so many good Will Ferrell movies we're missing.

• 1:04:34Speaker 04

  But this movie is fantastic.

• 1:04:36Travis Kelce?

  It is.

• 1:04:37Speaker 04

Vince. The cast is incredible. The movie is great.

• 1:04:42Travis Kelce?

  Cha.

• 1:04:42Speaker 04

Are we rating this on a Will Ferrell scale or just like the, the best movies that Will Ferrell has been in?

• 1:04:47Travis Kelce?

  That's a, that's, I've been going off of a Will Ferrell scale.

• 1:04:50Speaker 06

Come on now. Give me a number.

• 1:04:52Travis Kelce?

  Just go seven, dude.

• 1:04:55Speaker 04

  Reluctantly, I just disagree.

• 1:04:58Travis Kelce?

All right, then go six. Fine, six.

• 1:05:01Speaker 04

  I kinda wanna go four.

• 1:05:02Travis Kelce?

Then go four. Fuck it. Just get me through this. Jesus.

• 1:05:06Speaker 06

All right, we'll lock it in at four. Next movie. A Night at the Roxbury.

• 1:05:12Travis Kelce?

  That's what I'm talking about.

• 1:05:13Speaker 04

Well, this is a guilty pleasure for us. This one is.

• 1:05:17Travis Kelce?

I'm so pissed that we didn't talk this because it started off on SNL and it fucking became a fucking.

• 1:05:25Speaker 04

  Full on movie.

• 1:05:26Travis Kelce?

And then I used to work out at Jake Glazer's gym, Unbreakable, on Roxbury Road.

• 1:05:33Speaker 04

  There we go.

• 1:05:34Travis Kelce?

Shout out to Jake Glazer and Unbreakable. Okay, Larry Legend. Shout out to Larry Legend.

• 1:05:37Speaker 04

I love this movie. It is an all time favorite of mine.

• 1:05:41Travis Kelce?

  It is so fucking good.

• 1:05:45Speaker 04

I feel like Night at the Roxbury, even though it's one of our favorites, objectively not one of his better films. I think you gotta go seven or eight.

• 1:05:52Travis Kelce?

  I'll go eight.

• 1:05:53Speaker 04

  Eight. All right, eight.

• 1:05:54Speaker 06

Locking in at eight. Next movie. Elf.

• 1:05:58Speaker 04

This is where we've ran into triples. We have to leave one open for Anchorman.

• 1:06:01Speaker 06

I got you a little bit.

• 1:06:02Travis Kelce?

  No.

• 1:06:03Speaker 06

I front loaded it. I got you.

• 1:06:05Speaker 04

  So I say six.

• 1:06:06Travis Kelce?

  Cool.

• 1:06:07Speaker 06

  Kicking and screaming.

• 1:06:08Travis Kelce?

This is what I'm saying. This is what I'm fucking saying, man.

• 1:06:12Speaker 04

It's a good movie, but I feel very confident this is outside of that top six we have right now.

• 1:06:16Travis Kelce?

All right, seven then, cuz I'm, it's up there for me.

• 1:06:19Speaker 04

  You're putting this at seven?

• 1:06:21Travis Kelce?

Dude, I love kicking and screaming.

• 1:06:23Speaker 04

Is it better than Blades of Glory? Is it better than Semi Pro? No, I think this one's 10 for me.

• 1:06:30Travis Kelce?

  All right.

• 1:06:30Speaker 04

I think it's a good movie. I mean, listen, there's not a bad Will Ferrell movie.

• 1:06:35Travis Kelce?

Night at the Roxbury should have been 10.

• 1:06:37Speaker 06

Wait, where did you put that?

• 1:06:38Speaker 04

  10.

• 1:06:38Travis Kelce?

  10.

• 1:06:39Speaker 06

  This is 10. Interesting.

• 1:06:40Travis Kelce?

  I love that fuck.

• 1:06:41Speaker 06

  Next movie.

• 1:06:42Travis Kelce?

  So good.

• 1:06:43Speaker 06

  Semi Pro.

• 1:06:44Speaker 04

  I'll go nine, Semi Pro.

• 1:06:46Travis Kelce?

Nine, this is, yeah, we're, we're on the same page. I fucking love Jackie Moon, though, man.

• 1:06:51Speaker 04

Jackie Moon is electric. All of these movies are fantastic.

• 1:06:54Speaker 06

Next up, we have Blades of Glory.

• 1:06:57Speaker 04

Seven. Dude, if you do not have Anchorman with this last film.

• 1:07:01Travis Kelce?

He's such an asshole if he doesn't have Anchorman.

• 1:07:03Speaker 04

He did IMDb top 10, so it has to be Anchorman. I don't even need to see it.

• 1:07:10Speaker 06

  All right. Last movie. Anchorman.

• 1:07:13Speaker 04

Yeah. I feel good about this list.

• 1:07:17Travis Kelce?

Do you? Do you remember Anchorman two?

• 1:07:19Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 1:07:19Speaker 06

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:07:20Travis Kelce?

  Dude.

• 1:07:21Speaker 06

  It's actually really good.

• 1:07:22Travis Kelce?

It's so you want to talk about a movie that gets better as you get older. That movie is so fucking funny. Oh, my God. That shit is fucking gold.

• 1:07:33Speaker 04

  Look at that cast.

• 1:07:34Travis Kelce?

Ah, man, I gotta fucking grill. My guy Paul read about that movie, man. I just gotta, I need to know more.

• 1:07:40Speaker 04

I feel pretty good about this list.

• 1:07:42Travis Kelce?

It's a solid list. This is a pretty solid list.

• 1:07:44Speaker 04

Would we change anything with it not being blind?

• 1:07:47Travis Kelce?

Probably. I probably switch Night of the Roxbury and either Kicking and Screaming or uh, or Semi Pro. I think that one was kind of just a silly one where these ones actually like, the character was like,

• 1:08:02Travis Kelce?

I don't know. Just, I just felt like those characters were better. Night of the Roxbury is a guilty pleasure of ours, though.

• 1:08:08Speaker 06

People are gonna want Elf higher. Elf's gonna get some tweets.

• 1:08:11Speaker 04

Well, initially I was already Elf for four, but he's got so many great movies. I don't think Elf is better than, I mean, I might put it above other guys.

• 1:08:19Travis Kelce?

Probably other guys in old school for me.

• 1:08:21Speaker 04

I'm not putting it above old school. Old school is too iconic to me.

• 1:08:25Travis Kelce?

  God damn.

• 1:08:25Speaker 04

I love Talladega Nights with a passion.

• 1:08:28Travis Kelce?

  It's so goddamn.

• 1:08:29Speaker 04

I feel very confident Anchorman and Step Brothers are one and two, though.

• 1:08:32Travis Kelce?

Yeah. I think we killed the first, the top three.

• 1:08:34Speaker 06

Any issues with the list, please tweet at JChat85. I think that's Jake's handle. Please let him know.

• 1:08:41Travis Kelce?

  Tell us how you feel.

• 1:08:42Speaker 06

Tell him specifically how you feel. Tell him he fucked up. Get him.

• 1:08:45Speaker 04
