Of course, because I made contact.

• 1:02Caleb Hammer?

  Who hit who first?

• 1:03Speaker 03

Me. I come from the hood side a second.

• 1:04Caleb Hammer?

You went back and attacked her. You were the attacker. You stabbing her in the neck.

• 1:11Speaker 03

Don't touch me first. I think she learned that.

• 1:28Speaker 03

Hi, my name's Isabella. I'm 34 years old. I'm from Clearwater, Florida, and this is Financial Audit.

• 1:35Caleb Hammer?

Thanks for coming over to Austin. What do you do in Clearwater for a living?

• 1:38Speaker 03

I am a medical assistant for internal medicine practice.

• 1:41Caleb Hammer?

Very good. What are we making?

• 1:42Speaker 03

  $20 an hour.

• 1:44Caleb Hammer?

Okay, Clearwater ain't cheap. So, how you living? How are things doing $20 an hour?

• 1:50Speaker 03

Um, okay, for what I, you know, as a single person, it's tough, but you know, I'm pulling by. I live in a studio apartment. So, you know, so, and I live five minutes from work as well. So, I don't have a big commute.

• 2:04Caleb Hammer?

  Sorry, you're struggling.

• 2:05Speaker 03

  Um, well.

• 2:07Caleb Hammer?

You wouldn't be on the show if you weren't struggling. So what is going on?

• 2:10Speaker 03

I have impulsivity issues. I have a lot of FOMO. I'm a raver. Um, I like to go to a lot of festivals, uh, shows.

• 2:18Caleb Hammer?

  Changing out?

• 2:19Speaker 03

I should be, but I think you just rave to the grave. I don't think there's an ending. First, possibly, but like I'm the rave mom of the group, so I have to care of everyone.

• 2:29Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 2:30Speaker 03

I was just here last month for a festival.

• 2:32Caleb Hammer?

Oh, great. I didn't even know one was happening.

• 2:35Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 2:35Caleb Hammer?

That shows our difference in life.

• 2:37Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 2:38Caleb Hammer?

Uh, okay. So every night, got it?

• 2:41Speaker 03

No, none of that. No, no, no, no, no. That's bad for my mental health. I just like the music. I enjoy any kind of music, all music. It brings me joy and happiness.

• 2:50Caleb Hammer?

What's, but FOMO, you say, so every concert that pops up, you just can't turn away from?

• 2:56Speaker 03

Most of them, no, because I have like a group of 20 people. That's like my rave fam and, uh, you know, like a whole bunch of them are going.

• 3:04Caleb Hammer?

  Peer pressure as well.

• 3:05Speaker 03

Not even peer pressure. I'm usually the one like, hey, who wants to go to this one? It's usually my idea.

• 3:10Caleb Hammer?

  How often are we going?

• 3:11Speaker 03

Uh, I go to probably three festivals a year, but like show wise, probably like once a month or so. Some shows aren't that expensive.

• 3:18Caleb Hammer?

They couldn't be what's destroying you. The three a year, yeah, that, those are some big trips. Those would be hitting you here and there. Definitely like a, you know, a big hit every once in a while, but shouldn't be make or break your life.

• 3:31Speaker 03

Uh, when you're making $20 an hour. When you're making $20 an hour.

• 3:34Caleb Hammer?

How many hours a week are you working?

• 3:35Speaker 03

  Uh, 40.

• 3:36Caleb Hammer?

So what's your account on a monthly basis?

• 3:38Speaker 03

Um, I, it's 1364, uh, every two weeks. So I would say about 2,700.

• 3:47Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 3:48Speaker 03

  Uh huh.

• 3:48Caleb Hammer?

27, 28. Uh, for Clearwater, again, that is.

• 3:52Speaker 03

  And I live alone, so.

• 3:54Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but in a studio and close to work. So there's different things that are keeping your relative cost of living low in a high cost of living area. What's your rent?

• 4:03Speaker 03

Um, it is 1,100, but then I have to pay the internet, um, water, trash, all that. So it's 1230.

• 4:10Caleb Hammer?

Okay. So just the roof over your head. I mean, we're talking, yes, it's high, but it's 45%. 45% of your income, like. At that point, are you able to go and do the things you absolutely want to do in order to just take care of yourself in life? If just the roof over your head itself is, you know, forty-five percent of your income. Now, don't get me wrong, I want you to go have fun. Don't get me wrong, I, you're actually in a pretty reasonably priced, you know, living situation. That being said, with your income, you have to then make choices. Sorry, my throat also started hurting.

• 4:45Speaker 03

It's okay. I also just recently started doordashing about four weeks ago as well.

• 4:49Caleb Hammer?

So what's that bringing in then?

• 4:50Speaker 03

I just made about four hundred dollars in the last month. I just started.

• 4:54Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, before, before taxes, but also before gas, any kind of future maintenance, which is going to be arriving quicker.

• 5:02Speaker 03

  Yep.

• 5:03Caleb Hammer?

Even just things like tire rotations.

• 5:04Speaker 03

  Yes, yes.

• 5:05Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so four hundred turned into three hundred, let's call it, maybe two fifty.

• 5:10Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 5:11Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so that's certainly not, I mean, anything helps in your situation, honestly, to boost us, let's call it, a total of three thousand on a monthly basis. What's your rent ticket? It was like fourteen, oh, rent and utilities together?

• 5:22Speaker 03

  It was like twelve thirty.

• 5:23Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so twelve thirty. I mean, we're still talking forty-one percent, so we didn't move the needle too much, but I'll boost you up to three thousand, sure.

• 5:31Speaker 03

And then I was trying to like do like Uber and like things like that, but my driving record wasn't the best, so they wouldn't allow me. Doordash was the only one to accept me.

• 5:41Caleb Hammer?

Well, then maybe you shouldn't be allowed on Doordash. What's your driving record?

• 5:45Speaker 03

It was four, almost five, four years ago.

• 5:47Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, driving after raves, after you've taken something a little special to feel the music a bit more.

• 5:51Speaker 03

Why are you asking me I'm taking anything?

• 5:52Caleb Hammer?

Because you're going, if you're a raver, come on.

• 5:55Speaker 03

You could love the music and enjoy it.

• 5:57Caleb Hammer?

You absolutely can, but we have, we have ravers that work here, they're in the culture that I, it's incredibly common. You're right, you're on granny level raving, but even still, I'm saying that as someone, you know, only four years younger.

• 6:10Speaker 03

I can't even drink two beers without getting hungover, so I'm not the one.

• 6:13Caleb Hammer?

  What's your driving record?

• 6:15Speaker 03

Okay, so a couple of years ago, I got into three accidents within three years, and they have a three and three rule in Florida. If you get in three accidents in three years, they will revoke your license.

• 6:24Caleb Hammer?

No matter the kind of accident, if you get hit?

• 6:25Speaker 03

  Uh, yeah, yeah.

• 6:27Caleb Hammer?

So if you are parked at a stop, if you're parked at a stoplight and you are slammed into three times in three years.

• 6:35Speaker 03

  Florida's a no-fault state.

• 6:39Speaker 03

So regarding that, I had my license revoked, but I had to go through all of the steps to get it back. And that was a nightmare that cost a lot of money. I didn't realize there was a rule like that.

• 6:49Caleb Hammer?

  What did it cost?

• 6:50Speaker 03

  Um, it cost.

• 6:51Caleb Hammer?

Didn't it go through that on driver's ed?

• 6:53Speaker 03

I had to take a four hour online course, then a 12 hour online course. I had to have somebody sit in the car with me for four hours. That was about $500. So they could drive around with me to show that I could drive. And then I had to take my driving test twice at the DMV and get my picture retaken.

• 7:07Caleb Hammer?

Well, these all seem pretty basic. There you go.

• 7:09Speaker 03

  It was a process.

• 7:10Caleb Hammer?

I thought three, yeah, but this seems pretty fair. If you get your license revoked, I mean, again, I think I don't know the law and I honestly don't truly believe that if you get slammed into three times.

• 7:22Speaker 03

  I was at fault too.

• 7:23Caleb Hammer?

Doing basic things with proof from either street cameras or dash cam, that that would, yeah, you were at fault.

• 7:29Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah, for some.

• 7:30Caleb Hammer?

Again, context, but I, I truly don't believe just someone sitting in a stoplight who would have to go through all this, but maybe, maybe that's the case. Maybe that's just, uh, uh, not the best thought out law, but yeah.

• 7:44Speaker 03

Yeah, three and three pushed me.

• 7:45Caleb Hammer?

At fault, three years in a row. Yeah, get your license revoked. You're in danger on the streets.

• 7:49Speaker 03

I've gotten better. It was due to a medication that I was taking from a doctor.

• 7:53Caleb Hammer?

  Then you shouldn't drive.

• 7:55Speaker 03

I don't take it anymore, so.

• 7:56Caleb Hammer?

  What was it?

• 7:57Speaker 03

Um, it was for my mental health. It wasn't, it was a, uh.

• 8:02Caleb Hammer?

  A downer?

• 8:03Speaker 03

No, no, no, no. It was a, um, a mood stabilizer.

• 8:06Caleb Hammer?

Okay, and it made you like dizzy?

• 8:08Speaker 03

Um, not even really. Just kind of made me like zone out.

• 8:11Caleb Hammer?

Okay, then you shouldn't be allowed to drive.

• 8:13Speaker 03

  I, absolutely.

• 8:14Caleb Hammer?

Then you shouldn't be allowed to drive. It is easy to say. If you have to take it, good, take it. I support it, but don't drive if it impairs your driving.

• 8:22Speaker 03

I didn't need it. They just misdiagnosed me.

• 8:25Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so yeah, you should, yeah, you should have your driver's license taken away. You deserve to go through all those things. And you deserve to not be allowed on those platforms that require you literally just driving forever. So yeah, you know what? So far, supporting of the state. Versus the human on this one.

• 8:43Speaker 03

Those are almost off my full record though. It's been almost five years. Um, it's been, so at the end of this year, all those. Three will fall off.

• 8:49Caleb Hammer?

And then you're gonna pick up all these extra things instead of looking for different career opportunities? Why don't you go beyond the medical assistant, look at maybe becoming a nurse, maybe we're all started like, I mean, you're working on the low income scale in the medical field.

• 9:00Speaker 03

Student loans, I already owe fifty K, I already have one degree.

• 9:05Caleb Hammer?

  What's your degree?

• 9:05Speaker 03

I have an associate's of science in crime scene technology.

• 9:09Caleb Hammer?

  When'd you get it?

• 9:09Speaker 03

  Um, two thousand twenty one.

• 9:11Caleb Hammer?

Good, take the credit hours, go complete a four year.

• 9:13Speaker 03

Um, so since I got an associate's of science, I had to do, I, I have to go for an AA because the schools won't accept an AS, I need AA, I need an arts degree for some reason, for some science degree.

• 9:25Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but I'm sure you'll have a lot of transfer credits.

• 9:27Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, so I am about four classes away from getting a generalized AA because I can't just move into a.

• 9:33Caleb Hammer?

  Can't do it.

• 9:33Speaker 03

I did, I signed up for classes last Monday and I dropped them on Monday.

• 9:36Caleb Hammer?

  You dropped out on Monday?

• 9:37Speaker 03

Yeah, I, they started Monday, I just, I dropped them. I got really too anxious.

• 9:44Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, so you.

• 9:44Speaker 03

I tried to restart going back to school a few times and I just.

• 9:47Caleb Hammer?

  What, what, what scares you?

• 9:49Speaker 03

Um, I don't have somebody to mirror or, um, body double.

• 9:54Caleb Hammer?

What the fuck are you talking about?

• 9:55Speaker 03

I have, um, issues, uh, paying attention and focusing and things of that nature.

• 10:01Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, yeah. Welcome to America.

• 10:02Speaker 03

So, um, since I don't have somebody sitting next to me like studying and doing that, it's hard for me to just stay on topic.

• 10:07Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but most schools have like programs that you can enter.

• 10:10Speaker 03

  Yeah, I have ADA accommodations.

• 10:12Caleb Hammer?

There we go, so what the fuck's the issue?

• 10:14Speaker 03

  Me.

• 10:16Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 10:16Speaker 03

  I'm the problem.

• 10:17Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 10:18Speaker 03

Yeah, I just, I got a lot of anxiety and then I'm like, maybe I'll fail, you know, and all the thoughts process. And then, so I just dropped them and then I haven't, I have time. I'm not in a rush, but I would like to get it done. And I just don't have somebody else, like I, when I was going to school, I was dating somebody in school. So when he was studying, I was studying, so it really was very helpful.

• 10:36Caleb Hammer?

  Go date someone.

• 10:37Speaker 03

  No.

• 10:38Caleb Hammer?

  Give them D, I don't know.

• 10:39Speaker 03

  No, thanks.

• 10:40Caleb Hammer?

  Give them V, I don't know.

• 10:41Speaker 03

  Thanks.

• 10:42Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 10:42Speaker 03

  Oh, no.

• 10:43Caleb Hammer?

  Give them A, them.

• 10:45Speaker 03

I'm, no, I don't want anything, nobody, ew.

• 10:48Caleb Hammer?

Okay, well, that was more a joke, but like.

• 10:50Speaker 03

No, I'm just saying, I just don't want nobody.

• 10:52Caleb Hammer?

Oh, okay. Live your life, I guess.

• 10:54Speaker 03

Being alone is where it's at. I have my cat. It's great. She's not texting me like where you at.

• 11:00Caleb Hammer?

  Going.

• 11:02Speaker 03

  Crazy cat lady?

• 11:07Speaker 03

That's me. I only have one though, I'm allergic.

• 11:14Caleb Hammer?

Okay, and you're literally incapable of going to online school?

• 11:18Speaker 03

I, yeah, it was two eight week express classes, but the discipline that I have sitting at home doing it.

• 11:23Caleb Hammer?

  Do non express classes.

• 11:25Speaker 03

I like them better because I can't procrastinate longer.

• 11:27Caleb Hammer?

  Clearly not, you dropped out.

• 11:29Speaker 03

Well, I finished my degree with eight week classes, but like, because like the condensed sixteen weeks. But the thing is, the, the, I can't procrastinate when I'm in eight week classes, so, you know?

• 11:40Caleb Hammer?

I mean, you still can, and then fail.

• 11:44Speaker 03

Yeah, and that's happened to me last, that happened to me last semester.

• 11:48Caleb Hammer?

So, you then with what you just said, that was bullshit. Obviously, the eight week thing is not working then.

• 11:53Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 11:54Caleb Hammer?

  So do the normal!

• 11:55Speaker 03

It's hard, it's hard, it's harder said than done for me as an individual.

• 12:00Caleb Hammer?

I get it, but guess what? You're not the only person in the world that deals with ADHD. Other people successfully complete life.

• 12:07Speaker 03

  Absolutely.

• 12:07Caleb Hammer?

They get medicated, they get help, they take the ADHD shit that you have. Yes, with an associate's and you're making twenty dollars an hour. And you need to make more if you want to stay in clear water.

• 12:15Speaker 03

I don't have a degree in medical assisting either.

• 12:17Caleb Hammer?

If we are obviously not surviving when rent, after picking up additional side hustles beyond our forty hours a week is still forty-one percent of our income. So, listen, I don't care. Congratulations, you got a piece of paper. That means nothing to me in this world. I care about what you actually accomplished after college. And right now, you can't survive in your area, and that is what matters. And you accumulated fifty thousand dollars in loans in order to do this.

• 12:38Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 12:38Caleb Hammer?

So, we, obviously, if you want to work in the medical fields, you are making the bottom of the tiers of medical.

• 12:43Speaker 03

Because I don't have a degree in medical assisting. I got a grandfathered in.

• 12:46Caleb Hammer?

Let's go back. What do you want to do in medical if you're able to actually not drop out on the first day?

• 12:52Speaker 03

Um, what I'm doing now is exactly what I want to be doing in medical, if I want to stay in medical. But after graduating, I realized maybe crime scene tech is maybe not great for my psyche because of the things that you have to deal with.

• 13:03Caleb Hammer?

Okay, yeah, yeah, yes, you're broken on everything. And what will work? Like, because this is how this conversation goes, right? Here's the thing. You've been diagnosed, you know, and there are things wrong with you. And that is okay. There are things wrong with me. I have a panic disorder. This does not disqualify you from having a financial conversation or being an adult. Okay. It's different than like a severe, you know, suicidal thing or something like that, or just being unable to get up in the day. Okay, so you have this. But what you've done is you're very clearly down the pipeline of like, oh, all I do is think about my mental health and what I can't do. It's like, okay, if that's the conversation, then congratulations. You're never going to do anything ever. Or are you going to be like others in your space that have tried to overcome and actually pushed themselves?

• 13:47Caleb Hammer?

Or are we just going to be the, oh, no, my mental health for the rest of my life and never do anything ever?

• 13:52Speaker 03

Oh, no, I don't think it's, oh, well, it was me.

• 13:54Caleb Hammer?

Okay, but come on, that's what it's like. We want to do this, oh, we can't do it. We want to do this, oh, we can't do it. We're going to stop on the first day. So what degree do you want to do? What do we want to do? What works?

• 14:02Speaker 03

I'm just unsure, that's why. Because I thought I was in, because I was getting my, this is where the debt came in with the 50 grand for getting just a AS degree.

• 14:10Caleb Hammer?

You graduated in 2021 and you're 34. So I'm sure you were bouncing around in the classroom.

• 14:14Speaker 03

Well, that was the thing. I was going for chemistry to get into forensic science and, and associate arts. And like, almost when I was finished, I was one, like semester over, I switched courses and got into the crime scene technology program and added an extra like year and a half to my studies. And I was taking.

• 14:30Caleb Hammer?

  That bad.

• 14:32Speaker 03

Yeah, but I took out more student loans than I should have. I didn't lower the amount.

• 14:35Caleb Hammer?

Thirty, when did you go to school?

• 14:38Speaker 03

2017. So it took me about three years or so.

• 14:42Caleb Hammer?

  Horrible.

• 14:42Speaker 03

And I wasn't full time either because I was working full time at a job that paid me $14 an hour.

• 14:46Caleb Hammer?

It's not the worst. I don't know. But the, but then again, I'm, I'm so confused.

• 14:50Speaker 03

And then I have a lot of health issues.

• 14:51Caleb Hammer?

So I think we picked that up.

• 14:54Speaker 03

Well, I mean, physical health, like, so I was out of work for like three works.

• 14:58Caleb Hammer?

By your existence on how you're operating and the language you use. Yes.

• 15:02Speaker 03

I should live in a bubble.

• 15:04Caleb Hammer?

But honestly, maybe not, though. The thing is, again, this is what a lot of people are going down. And there are so many things that are real and you go through real things. But a lot of people get TikTok brain when they go down the rabbit hole. And then they're like, I can't do this. I can't do this. I can't do this. You lock yourself in these holes of all these like, like you have real diagnoses. And then you probably have lots of self diagnoses. And then you also really just rattle around forever on the real diagnoses and you limit yourself beyond your doorstep.

• 15:30Speaker 03

And I also took out more student loans than I should have when I did my.

• 15:35Speaker 03

My classes, like instead of lowering the student amount to what it should have been, I may have taken out more of the loan than I should have.

• 15:42Caleb Hammer?

Listen, it's okay. Like I said, but when you lock yourself in all these different bubbles and you don't allow yourself, this is what is immediately annoying me because if that was your life, then that's your life. But there's the additional layer.

• 15:56Speaker 00

• 16:20Caleb Hammer?

On top of it, where because, because you're locking yourself in the bubble and not willing to improve your life, you're stuck at $20 an hour. Okay, that's fine. But then you have to make your life choices around that based on the decisions you are making and not allowing yourself to do.

• 16:37Speaker 03

  Right.

• 16:38Caleb Hammer?

And then what you do is you just fuck around and endlessly rave and spend all your money and blow everything. And then all of a sudden sympathy is gone because that is the choice you are making based on your situation. Your situation, if you're going to lock yourself inside, okay, lock yourself inside, go on TikTok and feel like you can never do anything, even though many people like you have overcome many obstacles and lived a very successful life. Great. But listen, come on, we know the world that we're talking about here. We know the people that we're talking about here. Many people overcome a lot of things. They push themselves. We all do in many instances. We take medication, we take therapy.

• 17:14Speaker 03

  Okay. Yeah. Kind of.

• 17:17Caleb Hammer?

  Kind of?

• 17:18Speaker 03

Yeah, going to raves is my therapy.

• 17:19Caleb Hammer?

  Exactly.

• 17:20Speaker 03

  Getting tattoos is my therapy.

• 17:21Caleb Hammer?

But then you lock yourself in your house and don't allow yourself to progress anything professional. But then you just go and fuck around in every other situation and then boom, there goes the sympathy. Listen, the fact is, if you're truly incapable of existing, which you're not, then, okay, don't go out and fuck and blow all your limited money you have. But then you do, which is a horrible, terrible behavior. Why?

• 17:45Speaker 03

Because the music is so great. It's so hard when there's laser beams. Not all of it. There's different genres and it's a good time, especially all the vibes and the vibrations and it's just all sensory.

• 18:00Caleb Hammer?

You sure you're not doing some fucking next?

• 18:02Speaker 03

I am positive. I am positive.

• 18:09Caleb Hammer?

That's what your test results would say. Yes, okay. So.

• 18:12Speaker 03

I'd love to be in a cup for you.

• 18:17Speaker 03

You would be surprised. You're like, wow, this is naturally her.

• 18:21Caleb Hammer?

  Uh huh.

• 18:24Caleb Hammer?

Yeah. So you use the excuse of FOMO.

• 18:28Speaker 03

Oh, so much. I get a lot of FOMO. I'm like the FOMO queen.

• 18:34Speaker 03

It's, it's, it's bad. It's just like, I'm like, no, I'm not going to do it. And then I'll convince myself not to do it. Then last minute, I'll get the ticket.

• 18:42Caleb Hammer?

So why are you able to convince yourself to go to all these fun things, everything that you enjoy? But when something's slightly inconvenient, like, oh, oh, gotta study for a test. We're like, oh, can't do it. Lock yourself out. Oh, never can do it in my life.

• 18:53Speaker 03

It doesn't get me enough dopamine.

• 18:54Caleb Hammer?

We can't do anything ever. Exactly.

• 18:56Speaker 03

I don't have enough dopamine drive.

• 18:58Caleb Hammer?

Exactly. There it is. You're honestly choosing to push yourself for the things that you enjoy. And then you refuse to for the things that bring you any struggle. If we're being honest, come on, that's what this is dialing down to. We know. Okay, I need you. Why don't you answer some questions?

• 19:15Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 19:15Caleb Hammer?

I have some questions and I need you to decide, are you choosing FOMO? Or are you choosing fuck no?

• 19:22Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 19:23Caleb Hammer?

You hold up which one you prefer.

• 19:25Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 19:26Caleb Hammer?

FOMO or fuck no? First question. Opening a new credit card to go to a new festival with a killer lineup. Okay, but do you see? Explain.

• 19:42Speaker 03

I get too much FOMO if I don't have enough money. I know I could put it on credit and pay it off later eventually.

• 19:48Caleb Hammer?

  Do you?

• 19:50Speaker 03

  Eventually, sometimes.

• 19:55Caleb Hammer?

Seventy five thousand eight hundred fifty three dollars of debt, and we know fifty thousand of it is student loans. Fuck you. You're not paying off debt. What are you talking about? Why possibly is a concert more important than your future? More important than existing? Opening a new line in order to go fuck around is more important than you having any kind of debt? What's your retirement at?

• 20:14Speaker 03

  Zero.

• 20:15Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, exactly. So what the is wrong with you? Come on.

• 20:20Speaker 03

I have a list, but uh, I think it's because I know I could die any day and I decide I want to live my

• 20:26Caleb Hammer?

  Congratulations.

• 20:26Speaker 03

  I want to celebrate.

• 20:27Caleb Hammer?

But you won't know you had a good time if you're dead because you're dead. So it doesn't matter.

• 20:31Speaker 03

  But while I'm

• 20:33Caleb Hammer?

So let's go off this statistical likelihood that you're gonna be around for quite a few decades left. Huh? Yeah, maybe that. At least forty years.

• 20:43Speaker 03

Maybe, maybe not. But you know, festival life's where it's at. I've been doing it for like twenty years almost, so.

• 20:52Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but let's bet on the next forty. And listen, if you're out of credit card debt, and we actually just did a little bit of investment, two years of our time of a little bit of struggle to pay off debt, and other two years maybe to get through a degree and double our income, boom, your life has changed. You can go to every festival without destroying your life while also having retirement. So when you're retired, you're not working, you can even go to more festivals. But instead, you're only choosing the less this fuck around right now because we might be dead tomorrow. You won't know that you missed the festival because you're dead. You won't know that you missed a rave because you're dead. You won't know that you sacrificed for the future because you're dead. So bet on the statistical likelihood that you will be here.

• 21:31Speaker 03

Yeah, but at least I know that I have went.

• 21:34Caleb Hammer?

  No, you won't. You're dead.

• 21:35Speaker 03

But in that moment, I would know, but then

• 21:37Caleb Hammer?

No, you're dead. Are you stupid? No, you're dead.

• 21:40Speaker 03

  Pictures and videos of evidence.

• 21:41Caleb Hammer?

But you'll be dead. You won't be seeing the pictures. What the fuck are you talking about? Given most actual lives in every popular religion, you really don't remember most things on earth.

• 21:51Speaker 03

  I would hope not.

• 21:53Caleb Hammer?

  So it doesn't matter.

• 21:55Speaker 03

To you. It matters to me, though.

• 21:56Caleb Hammer?

No, it doesn't because you won't know. Nothing can matter that you don't know. No, it doesn't matter. You won't know. It might matter to friends and family around you. But that's not the excuse you use. That's me giving you that excuse.

• 22:09Speaker 03

That's true. But like I said, there's photo evidence, so but all my friends have them, so they can keep me in their memory of being that rave mom.

• 22:16Caleb Hammer?

Excuse that you used. I had to give that to you. Yours is bullshit. You're just like, I might not be here tomorrow. Yeah, but in the statistical likelihood is that you will be. Okay.

• 22:25Speaker 03

  Yes, yes, that's true.

• 22:26Caleb Hammer?

So sacrifice, for fuck's sake, this is basic.

• 22:29Speaker 03

  It's too hard.

• 22:30Caleb Hammer?

This is, this isn't too hard? There you go. This is, and that's her worldview, is everything is too hard. And listen, if that is your worldview, you will never get anywhere. This conversation is pointless, your life is borderline pointless, because you're not gonna be willing to do anything that is slightly inconvenient, because you've babied yourself and you used whatever mental things you have as an excuse, ADHD as an excuse, anxiety as an excuse. And I've used my panic disorder as an excuse, sure, but it hasn't held back my entire life, maybe 5%, okay? You're holding back 90% of your life. It's ridiculous. Second question, booking a flight on a credit card without checking your bank account in the first place? Okay, think, a little bit of reason, maybe?

• 24:23Speaker 03

  Yeah, overdraft fees.

• 24:26Caleb Hammer?

Oh, but it's on a credit card, you wouldn't-

• 24:27Speaker 03

Oh, well, then, yeah, then, they're probably maxed out, so I can't, so.

• 24:33Caleb Hammer?

So that's why we're opening a credit card in the previous question.

• 24:35Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, so the maxed out, so I can't, so, no.

• 24:39Caleb Hammer?

Are you sure you're not with someone else by your choice?

• 24:43Speaker 03

  No.

• 24:44Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, I'm not sure either.

• 24:51Speaker 03

  What other questions you got?

• 24:54Caleb Hammer?

Putting lunch or dinner on a credit card. Lunch that you might, lunch and dinner that you might be missing out with your friends. FOMO, why?

• 25:03Speaker 03

Uh, cuz I don't wanna miss out with time with my friends and going out to eat dinner. Especially on like birthdays and special occasions. That's super important.

• 25:12Caleb Hammer?

That's different though. Those are very limited. This is not a weekly basis thing. And I bet you're fucking around endlessly. Yeah, you're fucking around endlessly.

• 25:19Speaker 03

Yeah, I don't normally make my lunch. I have 30 minute lunch breaks, so I usually go and get like Wendy's.

• 25:24Caleb Hammer?

Doesn't make sense. If you have a 30 minute lunch break, you don't make your lunch regardless during that 30 minutes.

• 25:31Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 25:32Caleb Hammer?

It's pre-made. What the fuck are you talking about? The 30 minute break has nothing to do with that.

• 25:35Speaker 03

  I don't pre-make lunch for lunch.

• 25:37Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but the 30 minute lunch break has nothing to do with that.

• 25:40Speaker 03

Well, that's why I usually get fast food cuz it's fun and then I eat it.

• 25:43Caleb Hammer?

What the fuck are you talking about? That, that, whatever length of your lunch break has nothing to do whether or not you prep food beforehand.

• 25:50Speaker 03

Yeah, the prepping is the issue. I don't prep food beforehand.

• 25:53Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, so it is not the lunch break being 30 minutes. In fact, you'd have more time to eat if you weren't going and getting fast food.

• 26:01Speaker 03

No, I normally go home and like hang out with my cat and eat my fast food.

• 26:09Caleb Hammer?

What life are we trying to live here? Cuz I, oh, the, the, the.

• 26:12Speaker 03

  My best life?

• 26:14Caleb Hammer?

Yes, but what do you think your best life is? Cuz you seem recluse. You seem stepped away from the world because you're refusing to push any boundaries of your own. Uh, and no, I don't respect those boundaries. Not every boundaries are meant to be respected. Listen, that's not how it works. If you put up a dumbass boundary, fuck it. That's, that's dumb. That's, I'm so sick of that bullshit on TikTok.

• 26:38Speaker 03

It's hard for the boundaries. Uh, boundaries are a hard one for me.

• 26:43Caleb Hammer?

I know, but you're putting up bad boundaries. Not, just because the boundaries exist doesn't mean it is justified.

• 26:52Speaker 03

  It could be justified.

• 26:53Caleb Hammer?

No, you're you're limiting yourself dramatically in life.

• 26:58Speaker 03

  I'm autistic as well.

• 27:00Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, and I've never been diagnosed, but my lawyer tells me I'm the most autistic motherfucker she's ever met. So I it's listen, you have everything and I'm sure you think about it endlessly. And you, yeah, you do. Come on, the language you're using, you are just like every single person that's been diagnosed with something. So you think about it endlessly and then you limit yourself and you tell yourself you can't do something. But guess what? Congratulations. When there is something you want to do, somehow you find the way to do it. So.

• 27:23Speaker 03

I have, I have done it. I have graduated once. I know I could do it again. It's just the anxiety aspect. It definitely it messed me up because.

• 27:29Caleb Hammer?

  And that is hard.

• 27:30Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 27:31Caleb Hammer?

But if it is hard going into a semester, do intensive therapy while you're starting a semester. Find coping mechanisms. Don't just.

• 27:40Speaker 03

  Raves are my coping mechanism.

• 27:42Caleb Hammer?

That is not working because you can't afford to live in here in seventy five thousand hours of death. This is dumb.

• 27:46Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 27:46Caleb Hammer?

This is dumb. You're willing to put dinner and lunch on a credit card just to have the experience because you might be dead tomorrow. This is dumb. What is that? Again, like I have many times in this conversation, I can latch on to something. And I'm like, let's do this so we can do this. You, I don't have a this for you because you're content living in a studio.

• 28:09Speaker 03

  I would like to move.

• 28:10Caleb Hammer?

  Forever.

• 28:11Speaker 03

I'd like to move from the studio.

• 28:12Caleb Hammer?

  To?

• 28:13Speaker 03

To maybe like a one bedroom or like.

• 28:15Caleb Hammer?

What ambitions do you have other than just getting an extra room? Because I have nothing to latch on to to try to make you change your behavior and push your limits. That's the big thing because you put up artificial boundaries that honestly are bad.

• 28:28Speaker 03

Yeah, my workplace is just really great and they help me with my accommodations and whatnot. So that's why I stayed there. Yeah, because I'm not certified in that degree.

• 28:38Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 28:39Speaker 03

But I just kind of got grandfathered in.

• 28:40Caleb Hammer?

Will they pay for you to complete your degree?

• 28:42Speaker 03

No, it's a very small office, but we see six thousand patients like it like we have six thousand patients, but it's a small office with a few employees.

• 28:49Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 28:50Speaker 03

But we don't have retirement. We don't have insurance through them. We have nothing through them. So it's just.

• 28:53Caleb Hammer?

  Offer retirement?

• 28:54Speaker 03

  Um, no.

• 28:56Caleb Hammer?

  But it's advantage.

• 28:57Speaker 03

Not that I'm aware of at least.

• 28:58Caleb Hammer?

  For tax purposes, okay?

• 29:01Speaker 03

It's a very small, small office. Yeah.

• 29:03Caleb Hammer?

Right. But if they're seeing sixty, whatever, it doesn't make sense. We have a swan, whatever.

• 29:08Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 29:08Caleb Hammer?

That doesn't make sense. Also, I just also don't believe you to be completely honest, but either way, you could be maxing out a Roth IRA.

• 29:16Speaker 03

I really would love to do that.

• 29:18Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but instead you choose festivals because we're choosing the things that we want to do that are slightly difficult over the things that are that we don't want to do that are slightly difficult.

• 29:26Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 29:26Caleb Hammer?

  Come on.

• 29:26Speaker 03

I would like to change my ways. I just need better tools. My mom tried to do like Dave Ramsey CDs on me and that just did not help me at all with his teaching.

• 29:36Caleb Hammer?

In the eighties, I guess, nineties, CDs.

• 29:38Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah. So I tried that method. That didn't help. And so I'm just trying to really try to.

• 29:44Caleb Hammer?

Broke the, what did not work there for you?

• 29:47Speaker 03

  Uh, my.

• 29:47Caleb Hammer?

Cause this thing is pretty damn simple. I don't agree with, you know, some of the debts, the emergency, certain emergency funds too low, but what, what did not work for you?

• 29:55Speaker 03

Um, I think just how he words things. I just didn't think his, his life didn't not like his, his examples and whatnot just didn't align how my thought process works either. So I tried to understand and I tried to implement it.

• 30:10Caleb Hammer?

  You're able to fucking comprehend.

• 30:12Speaker 03

But I just, at the same time, I just didn't really grasp his concepts. I understand that.

• 30:15Caleb Hammer?

But it's the most basic. I mean, I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be offensive, but it's literally like the bottom tier basic. Like he even talks like it's the most bottom layer base level.

• 30:26Speaker 03

He's like, I was in like five thousand, hundred thousand dollars of debt and now I have zero. And I'm like, well, that's great for you, Dave, but I'm different. Yeah, no, I did. It was just an example.

• 30:37Caleb Hammer?

What the fuck are you talking about?

• 30:38Speaker 03

He got himself into a bunch of debt and that's why he's like telling people like how to get out of it, how he got out of it.

• 30:43Caleb Hammer?

It doesn't matter how he got into debt though. His, but.

• 30:46Speaker 03

How he got out is different than how other people could get out. There's other ways that work for other people.

• 30:51Caleb Hammer?

Are other ways, but that doesn't mean that the snowball method doesn't work though. That's so confusing. I'm so, I just, I'm not getting your logic yet.

• 30:58Speaker 03

  It didn't help me.

• 30:59Caleb Hammer?

But why? Because the example you used is like really dumb. Honestly, if I'm being honest, because he had really poorly leveraged real estate, quick note debt? All of a sudden, you can't pay off a credit card? I'm confused. Like, his debt payoff method isn't about the kind of debt he was in.

• 31:16Speaker 03

Yeah. I, I think, well, he was just trying to teach people to get out of debt because that's how he got out of his own debt. But it's why, but all of them.

• 31:23Caleb Hammer?

No, he went through bankruptcy. He teaches people, oh, you're not having me fucking slobber on Dave's right now. I'm, but this is ridiculous.

• 31:31Speaker 03

Yeah. So my mom had me listen to some of the CDs. I didn't.

• 31:35Caleb Hammer?

His is basic. It's pay off the smallest debt to the largest debt. How does, because he went through bankruptcy, negate your ability to understand that? That is the most basic.

• 31:44Speaker 03

I didn't know he went through bankruptcy. That's my fault.

• 31:46Caleb Hammer?

What? I'm just so confused. I, what?

• 31:48Speaker 03

I listened to his CDs, but I didn't listen to all of them.

• 31:52Caleb Hammer?

  It's seven steps, right?

• 31:54Speaker 03

Yeah. It was like, it was on like CD-ROMs and she had me.

• 31:58Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, good, good, good. Get really hung up on the CD part of this. You could have gone to YouTube. I, I, you could have gone to YouTube.

• 32:04Speaker 03

  Is he on YouTube?

• 32:07Caleb Hammer?

  Everyone's on YouTube.

• 32:08Speaker 03

Oh, well, I wasn't aware. I thought he just.

• 32:11Caleb Hammer?

Good morning, America's on YouTube. I don't know.

• 32:13Speaker 03

Oh, I'm not sure. But I, you know.

• 32:17Caleb Hammer?

Do you exist on this planet? Okay.

• 32:19Speaker 03

  I try.

• 32:22Speaker 03

  Could be an alien.

• 32:25Speaker 03

It makes sense. You have any other questions?

• 32:28Caleb Hammer?

No, I'm just, I, I'm a little confused. If you weren't able to go through his most basic thing, which again, I don't agree with everything. I'm not trying to blah, blah, blah right now. But it's like, what you're saying is like, honestly, quite stupid.

• 32:41Speaker 03

Yeah, I think you kind of just hit on a point. You don't agree with everything you said, and it was the same for me as well.

• 32:47Caleb Hammer?

It doesn't matter. The philosophy of payoff, smallest to largest is good.

• 32:51Speaker 03

  Yeah. And I have got.

• 32:53Caleb Hammer?

For people that can't stick to the behavior like you, honestly, is the best for you. So what you're saying is extra stupid because that is probably what works best for you.

• 33:02Speaker 03

  Is the snowball method?

• 33:03Caleb Hammer?

Yes. Because no way you'd be able to do the avalanche method. You probably can't focus on something for more than a half a second. So yes, you need the snowball method to get progress quick.

• 33:12Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 33:12Caleb Hammer?

To see the results and get your dopamine unlocked immediately.

• 33:16Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 33:16Caleb Hammer?

So what are you talking about?

• 33:17Speaker 03

  That's why I.

• 33:18Caleb Hammer?

David Ramsey did not fail you. You just couldn't put a CD in the player.

• 33:24Speaker 03

Yeah. He was, and it's very boring to listen to as well. Without him talking.

• 33:29Caleb Hammer?

  He's a boring old dude.

• 33:30Speaker 03

  Exactly.

• 33:31Caleb Hammer?

Why do you think our show is bigger than his?

• 33:32Speaker 03

And that's why I'm here on your show because of that reason.

• 33:36Caleb Hammer?

Okay, but I just, again, the only reason I'm pushing back on this is because no matter what I give you, if you couldn't make it through the most simple thing, how the can we get you there? Because I tend to give people more options, whether it be avalanche, snowball, maybe putting in some bull going to get a different job, I allow bankruptcy, I allow consolidations. It's all based on the person's situation. But if you couldn't make it through the most literal, basic thing that probably actually does work best with your brain, which is snowball, then good luck to me. Like, what the? And your logic made no sense because he had real estate debt. You couldn't follow paying off the smallest to the largest debt? It just doesn't make sense.

• 34:19Speaker 03

He was in a different financial situation is what I meant. Like his financial situation was different.

• 34:23Caleb Hammer?

It doesn't matter, though. His teaching is fucking, why are you making me gurgle this thing, dude? I'm not.

• 34:31Speaker 03

No, that's why I'm here to learn from you. Cause I feel like I, I, I think you're the best for, for this.

• 34:37Caleb Hammer?

All right, listen, today's the last day. We've put together a lot of educational tools and a lot of educational resources that I wish I had when I was growing up and I could have saved myself a lot of money and made a lot of money. We've brought in experts. We've created the best education that I can even think of on this entire platform. Our refund rate is literally 75% below the average refund rate for the industry, even though we offer everyone 30 days money back guarantee for our programs. It just proves we have created the best of the best systems. And right now, until the end of today, it is all at a major discount. So check it out. It could literally change your life. Links in the description below.

• 35:15Speaker 03

For the, for my, my problem.

• 35:16Caleb Hammer?

  So let's find out.

• 35:17Speaker 03

That's why you said you have different options.

• 35:19Caleb Hammer?

Putting moving expenses on a credit card.

• 35:26Caleb Hammer?

  Why?

• 35:28Speaker 03

It depends on the moving situation. If it's like a something serious, absolutely. If it's like a serious roommate situation, you know, like I had to do that recently last year.

• 35:39Caleb Hammer?

Okay, well, let's hear what you consider serious. Because if someone's in a domestic abuse situation, yeah, put the [__] on their credit card.

• 35:45Speaker 03

Yeah, like just like toxic, like.

• 35:47Caleb Hammer?

See, that's different. That is very different. A toxic situation to you, who again, you aren't able to do something slightly inconvenient, but you're able to go do everything you want that requires work. So, yeah, what was toxic to you?

• 35:59Speaker 03

Um, so the relationship I had with the girl.

• 36:01Caleb Hammer?

  Toxicity is like.

• 36:03Speaker 03

Um, no, the, the girl that I lived with, me and her were just very vastly different with our lives and our lifestyles. And she just wanted silence and I like music and whatnot. And like, so I always tried to keep the peace, but I felt like I lived in a hurt, like I was in a shell. It was stupid.

• 36:22Speaker 00

Gemini and Chrome is here for it. Ready to make anything online make sense? There's no place like Chrome. Check responses set up required compatibility and availability varies 18 plus.

• 36:47Caleb Hammer?

No, but then we got into it. Also, I can listen to music. Oh, what the [__] world am I living in right now?

• 36:54Speaker 03

  There's more to it.

• 36:55Caleb Hammer?

  Someone nuke Clearwater.

• 36:56Speaker 03

I wish. I really wish. Um, no, so it got worse and worse. And then it kind of had a, a blowout moment after like four years of living together because.

• 37:05Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, congratulations. You had an argument. I've had arguments with roommates too. And guess what? One of them is still my best friend and I heard to be my number two here.

• 37:12Speaker 03

It might have been, uh, more physical. So, so I had to get out of that situation. So I did.

• 37:17Caleb Hammer?

You have to get out of it if it's like an endless thing. If you guys blew up and you guys put yourself to that limit, that is a different story. You're humans. Humans sometimes get pushed to that limit. And it [__] sucks. And I'm not saying it, but if you win at her, she win at you, that is not. Not a great situation. That doesn't mean it is a reoccurring thing that is like a It sounds like you guys push yourself to the limits. You're a and adults Listen, if everyone quit their jobs when they got on the spat, every dude that worked on the line just fifty years ago, none of them would be working there. Okay? Cause everyone gets pushed to the limit at some point. We live very cushy lives now. So it's like, yeah, something like that is very dramatic. And I get it, but it's not like you walked in and she was

• 38:02Caleb Hammer?

beating you every day. Was it? No, you guys just pushed yourself to the limits and you backed off and you guys should have kept yourself for spices. And then we had more adult conversations. That doesn't mean it's a credit card situation.

• 38:12Speaker 03

I wish she was just like our walls were touching with the bedrooms. We had, we had a separate

• 38:17Caleb Hammer?

Not like you're living with somebody that's not an emergency.

• 38:20Speaker 03

Yeah. Um, it was just, it was just a toxic situation with her.

• 38:23Caleb Hammer?

So again, your level of toxic is you are pretending like it is something more dramatic than it is. I'm not saying you should have moved. I'm saying you're making it sound like it was a domestic abuse situation. It's that level of critical move. No, it wasn't. You were two people that lived together. You pushed each other's buttons so much that you got physical and she got physical, right?

• 38:42Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 38:43Caleb Hammer?

  Exactly.

• 38:44Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 38:44Caleb Hammer?

  No. Off.

• 38:45Speaker 03

So why would you want to live in that situation?

• 38:47Caleb Hammer?

I'm not saying you would, but it is not equal to a situation where the building is gonna collapse.

• 38:54Caleb Hammer?

You are bringing that. This is the nuance level that the internet has completely lost. Everything is immediate code red. Boom, boom, boom. The world's going crazy. Someone, you know, fucking, I don't know. Lindsay says like or something and people act like she just went on a mass genocide. Like there's no nuance on the internet anymore. Like we're so, everything immediately goes to level ten. Everything's an emergency. That's not an emergency. Did you move out the next day?

• 39:23Speaker 03

Uh, no, it was about a month later.

• 39:25Caleb Hammer?

There we go. So you were able to survive for a month.

• 39:27Speaker 03

I had to find a place and had it ready and everything.

• 39:30Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but you were able to survive a month without all of a sudden you stabbing her in the neck.

• 39:34Speaker 03

I was scared that that was gonna happen to me.

• 39:36Caleb Hammer?

No, you weren't though. You probably were because again, you push everything to level ten.

• 39:40Speaker 03

  Yeah, because

• 39:42Caleb Hammer?

If I talked to her right now, what would she say?

• 39:45Speaker 03

  That we were both crazy.

• 39:46Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 39:47Speaker 03

  But she was the.

• 39:48Caleb Hammer?

And I've had crazy moments with people. We all have. I'm not trying to say you shouldn't live there.

• 39:54Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 39:55Caleb Hammer?

You should have gotten a new place. Yes. But that is not a nuclear level emergency.

• 40:00Speaker 03

I felt like it would have escalated to a point of.

• 40:03Caleb Hammer?

Maybe, maybe, you know, maybe. I'm just pushing back only because I just know where our culture is right now and how people get there. And how you have defined every conversation so far of like going to school. We can't do, even though it's slightly inconvenient, but we're not willing to face that slightly inconvenience. But the slight inconvenience to traveling and having to budget for a concert out all the way out in Austin from Florida. You're able to do. So it's obviously the choices. You use it as a way to get yourself your own apartment. I mean, I think I'm reading the situation correctly. I'm going to get a little pushback and that's okay. Because, you know, some people have had different experiences and that's fine. We can agree to disagree. But just based on the conversation I had with you, like, I don't want to lock you in a box.

• 40:48Caleb Hammer?

But I know how your worldview works if we're being completely honest.

• 40:52Speaker 03

Could you explain that to me?

• 40:53Caleb Hammer?

I just did for like 10 minutes.

• 40:55Speaker 03

Okay, sum it up a little shorter.

• 40:58Caleb Hammer?

Anything that is slightly inconvenient to you is a no go. But if something is inconvenient that you want to do is a total go. You limit yourself in this world in every instance whatsoever, and you blame your mental health for it. And you sit there and you think about your mental health forever and you let it define your entire life. And you fall down these rabbit holes. And guess what? Every little thing that is slightly bad in this world, and don't get me wrong, having a physical altercation is bad. But everything you do, it immediately goes to level 10. Boom. It is the worst thing. We must figure out something crazy. We must go to the most insane levels necessary and our life in order to get out of that. Because everything is a level 10 bad. We're going to a class on Monday. I'm anxious. Level 10 bad.

• 41:39Caleb Hammer?

It is, everything gets there and people in that worldview never get anywhere. They live a very unhealthy life. They have no nuance. It's not good.

• 41:49Speaker 03

Yeah. So I, I went back to school last semester and I failed two of the three. Classes and then I had to get

• 41:57Caleb Hammer?

But I bet you still went to raves.

• 41:58Speaker 03

  I did.

• 41:58Caleb Hammer?

I bet you still went to raves.

• 41:59Speaker 03

  I did.

• 42:00Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, so no sympathy.

• 42:01Speaker 03

Yeah, cuz the online thing doesn't help me out a lot to be like

• 42:05Caleb Hammer?

I bet it doesn't. I'm better in person too.

• 42:07Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 42:07Caleb Hammer?

Since I know that, I do it like an adult.

• 42:10Speaker 03

  Yeah, my

• 42:11Caleb Hammer?

If you're able to go to raves and travel everywhere, fuck around endlessly, then you can go to a classroom. You already have ADA fucking accommodations, okay?

• 42:23Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 42:23Caleb Hammer?

  Okay? You have

• 42:25Speaker 03

  I had to file appeals.

• 42:26Caleb Hammer?

We've put things in measure for you. Take advantage of them.

• 42:30Speaker 03

Yeah. I tried, so I requested the accommodations and then I was able to get them, so I was able to pass one of the classes online. The other two, I failed. That was the second time I took those.

• 42:42Caleb Hammer?

Don't go into a class until you know what the accommodations might be.

• 42:44Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 42:45Caleb Hammer?

Sit down with an advisor. There are people willing to help in every instance in life.

• 42:49Speaker 03

I did. I have my accommodation letters and everything. So what happened was so since I failed, I had to file an appeal with the school to take the class for the third time for two of the classes cuz I failed them twice cuz I'm not great at math and things like that. And I'm not, yeah, so that was, that's a big thing as well.

• 43:07Speaker 03

Math is very, very difficult for me, as you could see.

• 43:11Caleb Hammer?

This isn't math, this is behavior. Buy a great outfit for a festival on a credit card.

• 43:18Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 43:26Speaker 03

  I've done it.

• 43:28Caleb Hammer?

But we can't go to a classroom. Great.

• 43:34Speaker 03

  It's just for summer classes.

• 43:35Caleb Hammer?

  Who hit who first?

• 43:38Caleb Hammer?

Be honest with me. Who hit who first?

• 43:40Speaker 03

Oh, she did. She pushed. She pushed me and then I had to

• 43:42Caleb Hammer?

Pushed is different. Who hit who first?

• 43:44Speaker 03

Me. Yeah, it was a in the face shove.

• 43:49Caleb Hammer?

Yes, if you guys are in each other's faces, someone might naturally push.

• 43:53Speaker 03

And then my natural My natural reaction is

• 43:56Caleb Hammer?

So now I have, this is even level 10 has fucking what I thought was a level 7, you thought was a level 10 is now down to a level 5 because you were the one who went crazy.

• 44:05Speaker 03

She's the one that went crazy first and touched me first.

• 44:08Caleb Hammer?

You were in her face and so she pushed you out of her face.

• 44:10Speaker 03

No, she, she came into my face and shoved me.

• 44:13Caleb Hammer?

And I'm sure you got closer. Listen, I don't know.

• 44:15Speaker 03

Of course, because I made contact.

• 44:17Caleb Hammer?

  Two sides of every story.

• 44:19Speaker 03

  Absolutely.

• 44:19Caleb Hammer?

If I call her, what will she say about that exact question?

• 44:25Speaker 03

I don't know what her perception of that would have been, but she did that. But she said she, she probably wouldn't like, oh, I just, yeah, I pushed her back and she took it the wrong way. But you don't put your hands on nobody. You don't touch anybody. I come from, I come from, I've come from the hood.

• 44:40Caleb Hammer?

  Hands on her.

• 44:41Speaker 03

I come from the hood, Sidus. I can't.

• 44:42Caleb Hammer?

You come from the hood, says grandma. Okay.

• 44:44Speaker 03

Well, I come from Broward County, Florida. So I just.

• 44:47Caleb Hammer?

It's nothing to me. What's your financial score, zero to 10? 10 being absolutely incredible, zero being the worst of the worst.

• 44:54Speaker 03

I would say about a two.

• 44:55Caleb Hammer?

Okay. If you want your Hammer Financial Score, take the assessment, see where you stand in the world of finances. Go to CalebHammer.com or click the link in the description below. You can also go to CalebHammer.com/apply. Come on this show. We'd be happy to have you here in Austin, Texas. But only if you don't shove me if we get in each other's faces. And if you don't want to be like a guest on the show, all you have to do is download my budgeting app. Just do that. Sign up for the annual version. I'll send you the cookbook and the notebook that can't be purchased anywhere else. I'll sign it personally and mail it directly to you. We're going to start with PayPal. Chunky balance for something making $20 an hour. This is your entire monthly income is this balance. In fact, it's actually higher. So what the, what's going on with this? Because we're talking $2,855,026. What is going on?

• 45:40Speaker 03

Um, there was a lot going on with that PayPal card. Um, so.

• 45:46Caleb Hammer?

What? I have a note saying you told Lindsay you're a sleep shopper. What the fuck does that even mean?

• 45:51Speaker 03

  So what?

• 45:52Caleb Hammer?

Never heard of this in my life.

• 45:53Speaker 03

Okay. So what happens is I have insomnia. So I take sleeping medication from my doctor.

• 45:59Speaker 03

Here's your money. So since that happens when I take it, sometimes I will go to sleep and I will wake up and get on my phone and go on like Amazon or something that I will need in my shopping cart and I will purchase it or and then I'll sometimes I catch myself.

• 46:14Caleb Hammer?

  What should you do?

• 46:15Speaker 03

  What?

• 46:16Caleb Hammer?

  What should you do?

• 46:17Speaker 03

I discuss it with my physician.

• 46:19Caleb Hammer?

  What should you do?

• 46:21Speaker 03

  Discuss it with my physician.

• 46:22Caleb Hammer?

What should you do? Keep trying. You're almost there.

• 46:25Speaker 03

Return the stuff that I buy.

• 46:26Caleb Hammer?

  What should you do?

• 46:28Speaker 03

  Stop taking the medication?

• 46:30Caleb Hammer?

No, the return's a pretty good answer, but that's not the true answer. What should you do?

• 46:35Speaker 03

Keep my phone somewhere not next to my bed.

• 46:37Caleb Hammer?

It's also a good answer, but it's not the literal easiest answer in the world. What should you do?

• 46:42Speaker 03

Can you answer it for me? I don't know.

• 46:43Caleb Hammer?

What should you do? See if you can get there.

• 46:47Speaker 03

Delete the apps off my phone.

• 46:48Caleb Hammer?

Oh, whoa, this is crazy. Oh, my goodness, a reoccurring occurrence where we can't stop purchasing things in the middle of the night? Yeah, delete it, you dumb tin. What do you think you should do? This is basic. This is, this is crazy. What the fuck? That took me two seconds. How the fuck are you not deleting the app if this is an issue? If you do it one time, delete it. This is simple.

• 47:10Speaker 03

Cause I pay for Amazon Prime.

• 47:12Caleb Hammer?

You continue doing this thing in the middle of the night. Delete it. Just tell me when you get on your computer in the living room.

• 47:19Speaker 03

  I don't have a computer.

• 47:20Caleb Hammer?

Okay, sure, we live in the Stone Age. How are you doing your remote classes, though?

• 47:24Speaker 03

Um, the school was gonna provide me a laptop and they didn't have one ready when the classes started as well. So on, so on Monday when class started, I didn't have a laptop either.

• 47:33Speaker 03

So they were gonna provide one.

• 47:34Caleb Hammer?

  Is that ADA?

• 47:35Speaker 03

Um, so with this school, they have a program for the laptops and I had to, and I kind of signed up for classes last minute. It was just like.

• 47:43Caleb Hammer?

You can use student loans to get a laptop and I actually relatively support that as long as you're not using it as an excuse to get a laptop more than you need.

• 47:49Speaker 03

Oh, I didn't know you could get a laptop with your student. I thought it was just for looks.

• 47:55Caleb Hammer?

Uh, it's, I believe for basically most things school wise.

• 48:01Speaker 03

  Oh, okay.

• 48:02Caleb Hammer?

And people go and get cars. You're not supposed to. And that's actually against the rules. Ever feel like running a business right now is just chaos? Tariffs are changing weekly. Supply chains are basically held together with duct tape and cash flow? Yeah, tighter than any grocery budget back in college. And if your business isn't adapting in real time, you're in trouble. That's why you need full visibility on everything. I'm talking global shipments, tariffs, cash flow, all of it. And that's what NetSuite by Oracle delivers. It is the number one AI-powered business management suite trusted by over 41,000 businesses. NetSuite is the number one cloud ERP that puts your accounting, finances, inventory, even HR all in one place.

• 48:47Caleb Hammer?

There's no more Frankenstein spreadsheets or digging through different systems. Just one suite, one source of truth. Real-time forecasting powered by AI that doesn't just tell you what happened, it shows you what's coming. And if I ran a company at this scale, this is the system I'd use. So if your business pulls in seven figures or more, download NetSuite's free ebook, Navigating Global Trade: Three Insights for Leaders, at netsuite.com/hammer. That is netsuite.com/hammer. Tame the chaos with NetSuite. Let's get back to the show. You know me, I'm always preaching about new ways to make money. So here's a twist. High Level isn't just a platform you use. You can white label it and sell it as your own software.

• 49:29Caleb Hammer?

And that means your brand, your pricing, and monthly checks from your clients. Think Netflix, but you're the one billing them every month for marketing tools. And the best part, you don't have to code a single line. High Level built the engine. You just slap on your logo and onboard businesses that need funnels, email campaigns, texting, scheduling, and the whole shebang. Some companies even have scaled to thousands of subscribers, earning five to six figures monthly. That's a serious revenue generator. And if you just want to use High Level for your own brand, go for it. Either way, I got you a 30-day free trial so you can see if this SaaS hustle is your next big move. Hit that link below or scan the QR code now and start stacking that reoccurring revenue.

• 50:10Speaker 03

They had cars. Oh, mine was like...

• 50:12Caleb Hammer?

  Do people do...

• 50:12Speaker 03

Yeah, my, like, my line of credit for the books is like $800 or something with the school. So it's like, yeah, yeah.

• 50:20Caleb Hammer?

Delete the fucking app and download it when you need to get something. This is basic. And yes, return every item. And yes, put the phone in the other room. This is basic. Literally use any second of thought. If you have done something, figure out what you need to do to make sure it doesn't happen again. But instead you just give up and you're just like, no, let it happen again. What the fuck kind of life is that? Again, oh, it's slightly hard, so we're just not gonna do it. That's how you live. Slightly hard to re-download an app, so that's how you live.

• 50:49Speaker 03

I just didn't have that thought until you just brought it up to me.

• 50:52Caleb Hammer?

You don't have any thought, apparently, because you're not willing to problem solve for anything. Because slightly thinking about something is slightly inconvenient. And if it's slightly inconvenient for you, your mental health gets in the way.

• 51:01Speaker 03

Well, yeah, I got a lot of sub points. So like, like I have sub points when I think. So you might think from point A to B, but I have point A to B, but or C, but then I

• 51:11Caleb Hammer?

But you see how you're thinking about this? And even though that is probably technically correct, because you are willing to only think about this forever, you will not let yourself get out of that. You immediately say, I can't do something because this is what happens with people who have similar mental health things to me. You have prevented yourself, you've built walls. Other people who actually make progress and go beyond actually try to push themselves. You immediately tell yourself that you can't.

• 51:40Speaker 03

I, I have, as you can tell, I've, I've gotten a degree. I've tried to go back to school a few times. It's just

• 51:46Caleb Hammer?

We're literally talking about deleting a fucking app, lady.

• 51:48Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 51:49Caleb Hammer?

Deleting a fucking app or putting a phone in a different room.

• 51:54Speaker 03

  I live in a studio.

• 51:54Caleb Hammer?

I'm not talking about getting a degree anymore.

• 51:58Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, put it in a kitchen cabinet.

• 52:00Speaker 03

  Yeah, I definitely need to.

• 52:01Caleb Hammer?

See how I can problem solve in a half a second because I actually think instead of immediately saying I can't do something?

• 52:09Speaker 03

I wear earplugs at night and then so how am I supposed to hear it in the kitchen cabinet?

• 52:13Caleb Hammer?

  Hear what?

• 52:13Speaker 03

  My alarm for work.

• 52:16Caleb Hammer?

Then delete the app or return the packages. There are, these are so many simple things. Your reasons are, I can't do anything and that's the end of the story. Unless it's finding a way to get to a rave. And as we found out, if there are obstacles, we choose FOMO every time. See, and that is what that game proved. If there's something you want to do, you're willing to do the hard thing to get there. But if there's something slightly inconvenient that you don't want to do, oh no, our mental health prevents us. And here's blah, blah, blah, reason why that I found online.

• 52:45Speaker 03

I didn't find anything online. I don't even have TikTok. That's why I said you keep referring to these like social media apps. And I'm just like, I

• 52:52Caleb Hammer?

Well, this is where a lot of the mindset is.

• 52:54Speaker 03

Oh, okay. See, my mindset's not there.

• 52:57Caleb Hammer?

Well, no, it is. But you're just somehow gonna go down the rabbit hole.

• 53:01Speaker 03

  Oh, thank goodness.

• 53:02Caleb Hammer?

Therapist, probably you've, you probably, you probably have a therapist that like fully enables everything. Which they exist, unfortunately. There are a decent percentage of them.

• 53:12Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 53:13Caleb Hammer?

  Cottle, cottle, cottle.

• 53:14Speaker 03

Yeah, no, they're just like, what are you doing? I'm like, I don't even know. I need help. And that's why I'm here.

• 53:20Caleb Hammer?

I agree. But again, you're not willing to do anything that isn't something you want to do.

• 53:24Speaker 03

I think maybe having other options available.

• 53:29Caleb Hammer?

No, it's options that you want. And you're, you're using your mental health as an excuse for that. If it's not an option that you want that is slightly more convenient to you, you won't do it.

• 53:40Speaker 03

It's not just mental health. It's, it's just impulsivity as well. Like I, I get a lot of FOMO.

• 53:46Caleb Hammer?

You're gonna say your mental health is gonna, you're gonna say, you're gonna say your impulsivity is about mental health.

• 53:50Speaker 03

No, it's about FOMO. It's like, I see them all going and then it makes me want to go. They don't try to convince me. I convince myself, even though I told myself no. Then I get the ticket at the last minute and the ticket costs more than if I got pre-sales. So, you know, if I get pre-sales, then it's way cheaper. It's $15 compared to the $30 I just paid. To get into a show.

• 54:12Speaker 03

Yeah, you see the videos and then it's like, oh, I wish I was there. And then I'm like, hey, I could be there in about 20 minutes.

• 54:20Caleb Hammer?

  I don't wish I was here.

• 54:22Speaker 03

  Oh, I'm glad I'm here.

• 54:24Caleb Hammer?

Okay, how long does this take to pay off? If you don't make any purchases and you pay your minimum monthly payment, which congratulations, you pay your minimum payment, but you purchase. So if you didn't purchase and you paid your minimum monthly payment, how long does this take to pay off?

• 54:40Speaker 03

Um, I would say maybe like a few months.

• 54:42Caleb Hammer?

  14 years.

• 54:44Speaker 03

Uh, where's that math at? Where's the 14 years?

• 54:48Caleb Hammer?

Well, if you only do your minimum monthly payment with the interest accruing and not purchasing anything, you'll pay a total of $8,500 and that takes 14 years.

• 54:58Speaker 03

  So if...

• 55:01Caleb Hammer?

  Go on.

• 55:01Speaker 03

I feel like if, if you pay maybe like five extra dollars more than the minimum, does that maybe lower it down even?

• 55:09Caleb Hammer?

Yes, but I asked if you only did your minimum payment, which is what you do, but without purchasing, which you don't do, because all you do is purchase.

• 55:16Speaker 03

I do. Especially during sleep time.

• 55:19Caleb Hammer?

The minimum payment is $101 during summertime? So just then?

• 55:23Speaker 03

No, no, especially during sleep time.

• 55:26Caleb Hammer?

  Return it, you fuck.

• 55:27Speaker 03

  Yeah, I, I, I do sometimes, I will admit it. I sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

• 55:32Caleb Hammer?

Pull your damn Amazon, pull it up. Pull, pull up your fucking Amazon.

• 55:39Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 55:41Caleb Hammer?

And I need to clarify, I need to extra clarify for the audience and for you. I'm glad you're talking while I'm typing, so you can tell me that you have to type things in. I have to clarify for you guys. I deeply respect mental health. I give every guest that comes on this show free therapy sessions if they take it, okay? And that is thanks to Sondermine, who's a supporter of this channel, who I recommend that the audience signs up for as well, and I use them. I will do it, I am talking right now.

• 56:15Speaker 03

  Sorry. I'm so sorry.

• 56:21Caleb Hammer?

I recommend people go to therapy. I respect diagnoses. Now, a lot of people self-diagnose a lot. I have diagnosed, I have a panic disorder and it absolutely fucking sucks. I do have anxiety. Uh, like, I get it. Depression's very real. ADHD is very real. There are a lot of real things. I am pushing back because of the clear examples that are being shown that when there is something, again, slightly inconvenient, that she wants to do, she will do whatever it takes to do it.

• 56:49Speaker 00

This episode is brought to you by Google Chrome. You think you know a browser, but Gemini and Chrome? That's new. • 57:13Caleb Hammer?

But if there is slightly, if there's something slightly inconvenient, that is not the way she wants to do it, mental health is the reason she cannot do it. If you get stuck in this worldview, you will never go anywhere and that is why I'm pushing back. The toxic thing, once we went deeper into it, wasn't as toxic as we thought. There was a physical altercation. People have physical altercations when they push themselves to the limit. I'm not saying it is a healthy thing. I'm not saying it is a good thing, but I am saying that clearly, she pushed you when you got closer to her, when she got in your face, okay, that sucks. But you went back and attacked her. You were the attacker. So let's not say that you were in the situation, you put yourself in the situation a bit more,

• 57:56Caleb Hammer?

you could have walked away. This was a situation where you guys were immediately arguing. It's just the view where we put our boundaries, not every boundary is respectable. I'm gonna be completely honest. And that is, there are gonna be some really angry TikTokers out there seeing this clip, but fuck you, honestly, because if you put a dumb boundary, I'm not gonna respect it. No, this is stupid. You've put up barriers when it comes to things you don't wanna do. And you've used mental health, and you've really fallen in the rabbit hole, learning everything you can about it so you can use talking points, and so that you can tell yourself why you can't do something, but then you'll go do the things you wanna do. And then you'll immediately say it's a level 10 thing because you attacked someone, so that you can play your music.

• 58:40Speaker 03

Don't touch me first. I think she learned that.

• 58:44Speaker 03

  You don't touch people.

• 58:45Caleb Hammer?

So I respect it and obviously she should have moved out. But again, she's making it sound like it was a domestic abuse situation of which it was not. There are different levels, there are nuances and there are nuances in every piece of the conversation. Even if TikTok, Reddit and Twitter is not willing to actually have levels and nuances, I will. So fuck off.

• 59:07Caleb Hammer?

We're allowed to have adult conversations in 2025.

• 59:12Caleb Hammer?

  All right, Amazon.

• 59:16Caleb Hammer?

What is this, a sippy cup? I don't, uh, professional makeup fat oil.

• 59:21Speaker 03

It's lip oil. Some of my lips don't get chapped from the Florida sun.

• 59:26Caleb Hammer?

We don't use chapstick in Florida? Okay.

• 59:28Speaker 03

  We do.

• 59:28Caleb Hammer?

Uh, I don't know what this is either.

• 59:30Speaker 03

  Wet wipes.

• 59:31Caleb Hammer?

Okay, we got a dirty asshole. Got it.

• 59:35Speaker 03

  Nasal spray.

• 59:36Caleb Hammer?

Nasal spray. Not horribly against that. Definitely against this shirt that you probably bought in the middle of the night. You got the beach wear.

• 59:42Speaker 03

It's actually behind me. I brought, I bought it for the show.

• 59:46Caleb Hammer?

And then she doesn't wear it. Uh, then some beach wear. And pre-made stardust espresso and cream bowl. Make your own damn coffee. Towel paper, I'm okay with that. Comfort plus, I'd rather, you know, more so go with, uh, well, comfort plus is probably good. I don't do Scott. What do we do here?

• 1:00:05Speaker 03

  I usually do.

• 1:00:06Caleb Hammer?

Charmin Ultra Soft, that's what we do.

• 1:00:08Speaker 03

Ultra? I usually do Angel Soft, but then it was on sale with the Scott, so I just bought it.

• 1:00:13Caleb Hammer?

Okay, okay, we've gone way too far into that. Uh, we got more beach wear, which we refuse to, um, I guess, wear more than once. Uh, we got some butt lift, stretch denim jeans. Okay, so she don't have it. We've learned everyone.

• 1:00:29Speaker 03

  Yep.

• 1:00:30Caleb Hammer?

Thank goodness. Glad we know this information, but we do know it's dirty. Uh, box three compartment medicine pill. Yeah, probably need a lot of those. I get it. Uh, 4.5 mini makeup bag.

• 1:00:43Speaker 03

  To bring on this trip.

• 1:00:45Caleb Hammer?

You didn't, we did not ask for it. You did that. Again, you're using it as an excuse. Travel bag. We did not ask for it. You're doing it. Small makeup bag. We did not ask for it. You did it. TSA approved toiletry bag. We did not ask for it. You did it. You got an identical repeat, just red of an outfit. Okay, I'm good with that gain thing. Makeup remover, you know, absolutely sure that's fine. Molecules, niacin, serum, come on. I don't know, I get it, but like, just look at the spending that we've done just in less than a month.

• 1:01:21Caleb Hammer?

Febreeze plug, air freshener, getting these endless bodysuits. You're a bodysuit. This is that one, I think. You're getting a sexy top thong bodysuit.

• 1:01:32Speaker 03

Yeah, so I can cover up my stomach and everything.

• 1:01:38Caleb Hammer?

And she got a red version, and then she got quick flash 400 one-time use cameras. This is just, I don't know, this is bull. This is bull. You get, you get so many different versions of the same clothes and you just get them like every, like every week. 14 years to pay off endless interest. This is stupid. And yes, it's an Amazon purchase, not a prize. Interest this year so far, $286 on one card. Instead of 30.99% interest rate.

• 1:02:06Speaker 03

  39?

• 1:02:07Caleb Hammer?

30.99, so 31%. It does not make it better. I mean, I guess it technically does, but it does not make it good.

• 1:02:15Speaker 03

Yeah, I thought you said 39.

• 1:02:16Caleb Hammer?

  It doesn't make it good!

• 1:02:17Speaker 03

  No, not at all.

• 1:02:21Caleb Hammer?

  Return all that.

• 1:02:25Caleb Hammer?

Return it all. That jacket doesn't matter. It's fucking Texas. It's 90 billion degrees out. Return it. Florida's also hot. Return it.

• 1:02:33Speaker 03

  I washed it already.

• 1:02:35Caleb Hammer?

  It's Amazon!

• 1:02:36Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 1:02:37Caleb Hammer?

  Fucking daddy basis don't care.

• 1:02:41Caleb Hammer?

Uh, maybe they do now. I don't know.

• 1:02:43Speaker 03

Yeah, I know. I know they

• 1:02:44Caleb Hammer?

Okay, we tried everything. Delete the damn app. You probably shouldn't have it anyway. Go to the grocery store.

• 1:02:51Caleb Hammer?

  Go to the grocery store.

• 1:02:53Speaker 03

  I get Walmart Plus delivered.

• 1:02:55Caleb Hammer?

Okay, go to the grocery store. I'm sure you get anxious in the aisles, but guess what? You're in fucking raves. So you are doing that to yourself.

• 1:03:04Speaker 03

  Yep.

• 1:03:04Caleb Hammer?

You are choosing at this point. And it's, it's stupid. It's dumb. It's dumb.

• 1:03:15Caleb Hammer?

City Double Cash. I like this card. I use this card. I have this card. You are obviously not a credit card person because you're not using it. Great.

• 1:03:22Speaker 03

Yeah, I got that one for the perks and I also spent.

• 1:03:26Caleb Hammer?

Great. Our perk is accruing $50 in interest a month. What perks are you using? Oh, great. We're also purchasing it on a card. Oh, great. It's maxed out. It's over. It's over limited by $49.27, but we're purchasing on it.

• 1:03:42Caleb Hammer?

  What are you doing?

• 1:03:45Caleb Hammer?

What a dumb. It's so stupid. What is going on with this?

• 1:03:50Speaker 03

I think I make the minimum monthly payment on it and then what comes back with the interest is more.

• 1:03:56Caleb Hammer?

Yes, but you, because you're purchasing. It's only because you're purchasing. What? I'm not gonna let you use that excuse now. If you're making your minimum payment and interest accrued, you would not be going over the limit. It would go down slightly. Not a lot, but it would go down slightly. However, you are purchasing after you make your minimum payment, but you're purchasing and that interest hits and then boom, it's over. It's over. Nine years to pay off if you don't purchase, but you're incapable of that. So what the is going on here, huh? What are you doing? What are you purchasing on? What do you think you're purchasing on? Let's see. I don't know. I'm gonna find out. So you better not lie.

• 1:04:29Speaker 03

Nope, that one. I'm pretty sure it was a festival as well on most, most of that.

• 1:04:35Speaker 03

  And, and a trip.

• 1:04:37Caleb Hammer?

  A trip?

• 1:04:38Speaker 03

  To Sedona.

• 1:04:39Caleb Hammer?

  What the is that?

• 1:04:40Speaker 03

  Arizona.

• 1:04:42Caleb Hammer?

  Uh, for the cacti?

• 1:04:44Speaker 03

  Uh, for peace.

• 1:04:48Caleb Hammer?

  Go to the beach.

• 1:04:49Speaker 03

  I just did. I'm sunburned.

• 1:04:52Caleb Hammer?

  No, you're not.

• 1:04:53Speaker 03

Well, I, you don't, it don't look like it right now, but I am. I'm peeling.

• 1:04:58Speaker 03

Yeah, so I went to Sedona cuz I know it's a big

• 1:05:02Caleb Hammer?

  Peace?

• 1:05:03Speaker 03

  Um, like they have uh

• 1:05:04Caleb Hammer?

  Peace?

• 1:05:04Speaker 03

Energy vortexes and whatnot and I did a lot of hiking. Yeah, a lot of energy vortexes and whatnot at the cathedrals and you do a lot of-

• 1:05:11Caleb Hammer?

Who am I talking to? You're a creature.

• 1:05:13Speaker 03

  A hippie raver chick.

• 1:05:14Caleb Hammer?

No, uh I mean, if we're bringing up energy vortexes, like, I can't respect your line of thought.

• 1:05:21Speaker 03

And then sometimes I will uh do a payment plan for a festival and then I'll just stop paying on it.

• 1:05:26Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, and sometimes you go to energy vortexes. Let's not move past that. That's the most dumb thing I've ever done in my life. You know, an energy vortex, the fucking, the, uh, the, uh, oh.

• 1:05:35Speaker 03

  It's like their earth's magnetic.

• 1:05:36Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, now that's actually real.

• 1:05:38Speaker 03

  Yeah, that's what it-

• 1:05:39Caleb Hammer?

Now, what the are you talking about?

• 1:05:40Speaker 03

Energy vortexes are at the, like, in, in Arizona at these different places there.

• 1:05:44Caleb Hammer?

Guys, the poles are in Arizona now.

• 1:05:46Speaker 03

No, I have a video of me at one and it says the cathedral vortex. Like, I have proof, like-

• 1:05:51Caleb Hammer?

That means nothing. That means they want you to go there.

• 1:05:53Speaker 03

And then like ATV-ing in the mountains and then in the desert.

• 1:05:55Caleb Hammer?

That means they want you to go there, lady.

• 1:05:57Speaker 03

  Hiking's free there, so I don't understand.

• 1:06:00Caleb Hammer?

But you had to pay to go there and you spent money while you were there on food and accommodations?

• 1:06:04Speaker 03

Yeah, we flew into Las Vegas and drove on-

• 1:06:06Caleb Hammer?

What the fuck do you think tourism is?

• 1:06:08Speaker 03

Yeah, cuz I was trying to visit the national parks and um-

• 1:06:11Caleb Hammer?

  But you went for peace?

• 1:06:13Speaker 03

Yeah, because like hiking and out in nature.

• 1:06:14Caleb Hammer?

Hey, fuck you, peace. You spend forty-five percent of your income on rent. You don't have peace. You don't have peace until you solve that equation.

• 1:06:23Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:06:23Caleb Hammer?

There is no peace to be found. No matter where you go, no matter what you do, when forty-five percent of your money goes to rent, there is no peace. You don't solve that until you go to school and get a better fucking job or just go get a better job working at an office and change your careers or fucking go on, don't spend money on delivery or fucking don't go on these vacations or fucking work a second job or do any of the basic bare budget minimums. You don't have peace until you solve this issue. No matter where you go, a vortex is not gonna solve that.

• 1:06:58Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:06:58Caleb Hammer?

Not a vortex in this world will solve your forty-five percent income going to rent. So don't vortex me. Fuck your vortex. Your vortex is bull.

• 1:07:07Speaker 03

  I live for experience.

• 1:07:09Caleb Hammer?

You live for forty-five percent of your money going to rent is actually what you live for. In fact, you literally live to go to work because you have no other choice because you've been done with your entire spending, life, debt, existence.

• 1:07:24Speaker 03

No, no, I just don't think I put the tools that I have.

• 1:07:27Caleb Hammer?

Tools, your tools, what tools? You don't have a tool. You only tools a vortex and it's bull.

• 1:07:36Speaker 03

You're not, wrong breath at the same time, you're not right.

• 1:07:41Caleb Hammer?

  What?

• 1:07:42Speaker 03

Because I feel like I can.

• 1:07:47Speaker 03

What am I trying to say?

• 1:07:48Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, what are you trying to say?

• 1:07:50Speaker 03

I'm trying to, I'm trying to word it correctly.

• 1:07:51Caleb Hammer?

What's the vortex in you saying?

• 1:07:54Speaker 03

I feel like, uh, sometimes I'll pay for like go on a payment plan for a festival so it's more affordable, but then I'll stop paying.

• 1:08:02Caleb Hammer?

  Affordable?

• 1:08:02Speaker 03

Well, because I could, I don't have to pay the lump sum and put it on a credit card.

• 1:08:06Caleb Hammer?

  It's making it more affordable.

• 1:08:06Speaker 03

But then I'll stop paying on it if I know I can't afford it.

• 1:08:09Caleb Hammer?

When you have more minimums payments, your life's not more affordable. Again, 45% of your money is going to rent. Adding an additional minimum payment is not affordable.

• 1:08:17Speaker 03

Yeah, but then I'll stop paying on it after like one or two payments because I realize I won't be able to travel and afford it. So I'll just completely stop paying on it. So it's a, another, whoops. I have enthusiasm and then I lose it.

• 1:08:31Caleb Hammer?

You have zero dollars in retirement at forty, at thirty-four. Whoops.

• 1:08:35Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:08:37Caleb Hammer?

Sedona, you have zero dollars in retirement, you're not going to be able to survive. You're not able to go outside. You're gonna need retirement. Sedona.

• 1:08:49Caleb Hammer?

The only vortex you'll be seeing are the fucking swirly things going down the drain in a Walmart bathroom that you're cleaning at eighty because you can't afford rent. That's your vortex.

• 1:09:02Speaker 03

  Well, hopefully.

• 1:09:03Caleb Hammer?

Because you aren't prepping for anything, you'd rather fuck around.

• 1:09:07Speaker 03

Well, you fuck around and find out, right?

• 1:09:09Caleb Hammer?

  And you found out.

• 1:09:10Speaker 03

A hard way, yeah. Like my mom says, I always find out the hard way.

• 1:09:16Caleb Hammer?

  Your mom invented that?

• 1:09:18Speaker 03

No, she just said I'm hard headed.

• 1:09:22Speaker 03

I learned the hard way. She's like, no matter what advice she gives me.

• 1:09:24Caleb Hammer?

You don't learn though. You see the hard and then you keep going.

• 1:09:28Speaker 03

  Yeah, and then, then.

• 1:09:30Caleb Hammer?

  You're going in raw.

• 1:09:31Speaker 03

Yeah, but then, and then once it gets to rock bottom, that's when I'm like, okay.

• 1:09:35Caleb Hammer?

No, you've been at rock bottom. You're fucking, you've been at rock bottom.

• 1:09:41Speaker 03

I've pulled out and now I got back in. I jumped right back in.

• 1:09:44Caleb Hammer?

No, you're at rock fucking bottom.

• 1:09:50Caleb Hammer?

And then somehow you just put on creative mode and dig through like you just go further.

• 1:09:57Speaker 03

Yeah, I've got myself out of debt like twice and then like I jumped like right back in.

• 1:10:02Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but now you can't get back out because you moved to a situation that you cannot afford. It is a different situation. The math no longer works.

• 1:10:12Caleb Hammer?

It is not different. It is not a copy and paste.

• 1:10:18Caleb Hammer?

What? Your mom will give you money when you're out of money before payday. So not so somehow even though mama does support us, you're still it all up. How with a support system like that where she honestly, let's be honest, enables you, but whatever.

• 1:10:33Speaker 03

Yeah. It's not and I pay her back.

• 1:10:40Caleb Hammer?

So you're in like a debt cycle to your mom?

• 1:10:42Speaker 03

No, no, no, no, like, like once in a blue moon, she'll help me.

• 1:10:45Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but then you pay her back the next month, but then you don't have enough money at the end of the month. So you have to take it again.

• 1:10:50Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:10:51Caleb Hammer?

What the, what the are you saying?

• 1:10:52Speaker 03

No, just sometimes like, like when I overspend.

• 1:10:55Caleb Hammer?

Overspend. So mama is enabling your overspending.

• 1:10:59Speaker 03

  Yeah, in a way.

• 1:11:01Caleb Hammer?

  Yes, you're thirty four.

• 1:11:02Speaker 03

But when I say could I have the dollars for gas money, but then I'll pay her back.

• 1:11:06Caleb Hammer?

Thirty four year old grown ass woman, you're asking mom for gas money.

• 1:11:10Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 1:11:11Caleb Hammer?

So you can go to a festival.

• 1:11:13Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:11:13Caleb Hammer?

Yes, because you spent your festival money, which is why you don't have enough money for gas, which means because you wanted to go to a festival.

• 1:11:20Speaker 03

Yeah, and it's not every week or every month I ask her. It's, it's every few months, maybe.

• 1:11:25Caleb Hammer?

At thirty four as a grown ass woman.

• 1:11:28Speaker 03

  Yep.

• 1:11:30Caleb Hammer?

Hey, quick question. How many jobs have you had since college? Two, five, more? Every single one of those could have left you with an old 401k that is floating around in the void. And guess what? Twenty five percent of all 401k assets get lost or forgotten. And that is not just lunch money, that is your retirement. Rolling over your 401k sounds easy until you try it. Tracking down your old provider, calling your former employer, maybe even fixing stuff, maybe even faxing stuff in 2025.

• 1:11:59Caleb Hammer?

skips all that nonsense. There are Conchiers platform that helps you find your old 401k, helps you open or connect an IRA of your choice and handles the full rollover for you. Boom! Retirement savings reclaimed. If you've ever changed jobs and didn't move your retirement account, go to hicapitalize.com/caleb and roll it over today. Links are also in the description. Big thanks to Capitalize for sponsoring. Let's get back to the show.

• 1:12:24Speaker 03

I'm just proud, glad that I have my mom.

• 1:12:27Caleb Hammer?

I would be too. It is disgusting what you are doing to her. As a 34-year-old grown ass woman.

• 1:12:33Speaker 03

Not like I'm taking the money and not, and like stealing it or not giving it back to her.

Again, now this is not a copy and paste situation. Just like anytime you run up a credit card and pay it off every month, all of a sudden we end up in a situation where boom, credit card's maxed out. You have been able to pay back your mom so far. Now 45% of your money goes to your rent. What happens when you can't?

• 1:12:55Speaker 03

  It hasn't happened yet.

• 1:12:56Caleb Hammer?

Yes, you are in a different situation. It is not copy and paste. Just because something has, doesn't mean it will.

• 1:13:02Speaker 03

  Exactly.

• 1:13:03Caleb Hammer?

  Exactly.

• 1:13:04Speaker 03

I said it hasn't yet, so.

• 1:13:06Caleb Hammer?

Great. Okay, well, yep, tickets and then Amazon.

• 1:13:12Caleb Hammer?

  Great.

• 1:13:14Caleb Hammer?

$203 on this card alone. So basically $500 in interest, two cards that we looked at.

• 1:13:22Caleb Hammer?

Listen, it's not perfect, but if you can't get through college, I'll gift you a course career certification. Get that certification and boost your income at least. That's great for just resume support and getting into a new career field.

• 1:13:35Caleb Hammer?

  I'll at least do that.

• 1:13:37Speaker 03

I'll take it. I'll take whatever I can.

• 1:13:39Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but it's on you to complete it. Okay, Chase Amazon card, so. Great. Yeah, you spent on Amazon and the PayPal and on the city. So now we have an Amazon card as well. $2,135.64. 10 years to pay this one off. We purchased again on a card that is now over maxed out. It is over maxed out, lady. It is fucking, what are you do- What are you doing?

• 1:14:05Speaker 03

  Nonsense.

• 1:14:07Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you were over the limit on the first card by $560.

• 1:14:12Speaker 03

  Over? What?

• 1:14:14Caleb Hammer?

Yes, you were over the [bleep] limit on the first card, the PayPal card, by $560. I didn't even see that. And now I realize that the two cards in a row being over the limit, I should probably look back. Guess what? All three cards are over the [bleep] limit, yet you purchase on. And no, your mental health does not make you do that.

• 1:14:34Speaker 03

  $560?

• 1:14:35Caleb Hammer?

  Yes!

• 1:14:37Speaker 03

I feel like I need to pull that up.

• 1:14:38Caleb Hammer?

Well, I don't know. I mean, it's actually hard to see. Maybe it's $56. It's hard to see. It looks like $560. It doesn't matter. You're over on both. Who gives a [bleep]?

• 1:14:47Speaker 03

That just startled me. Sorry. I was just like, wait, wait, wait. I haven't seen that before.

• 1:14:51Caleb Hammer?

It's a disaster. Stop! Amazon. Bull [bleep] over the limit. Bull [bleep]. $2,135.64. Bull [bleep].

• 1:15:01Caleb Hammer?

  Bull [bleep].

• 1:15:04Caleb Hammer?

Bull [bleep]. Bull [bleep]. Hey, hey, hey!

• 1:15:08Speaker 03

  Bull [bleep]?

• 1:15:10Caleb Hammer?

$71. Minimum payment. Purchasing. Interest accruing. So stupid. And then it's Amazon and Amazon. $200 this one. $200 this one. Okay, the PayPal, because it's hard to read unfortunately, is $55.26 over.

• 1:15:26Speaker 03

Okay, okay. That scared me from like-

• 1:15:29Caleb Hammer?

The 26 combined. Looked like a zero.

• 1:15:31Speaker 03

I know, it doesn't make it better about the same time.

• 1:15:33Caleb Hammer?

No, it doesn't. You're over on the three that we've talked about. We talked about three and you're over all three. It's not a single good thing to be seeing. This is an additional $200. An additional $200. An additional $200 [bleep] dollars.

• 1:15:49Caleb Hammer?

  What?

• 1:15:51Caleb Hammer?

  A

• 1:15:53Caleb Hammer?

  joke.

• 1:15:54Speaker 03

I also put on clown makeup in one of my alone time.

• 1:16:02Caleb Hammer?

  Venture card.

• 1:16:04Caleb Hammer?

  It's over the fucking limit.

• 1:16:05Speaker 03

  It is.

• 1:16:06Caleb Hammer?

  It's over the.

• 1:16:07Speaker 03

It's like my baby credit card, too.

• 1:16:08Caleb Hammer?

  Your baby credit card?

• 1:16:10Speaker 03

It has the lowest limit. It's like the newest one.

• 1:16:15Speaker 03

  Not like.

• 1:16:16Caleb Hammer?

Mom, stop supporting her. She needs to just. She needs to get evicted and find out the hard way. One thousand twenty-four dollars and nineteen cents. She needs to figure out that she can put in a little bit of work for things that is slightly inconvenient and hard for her instead of just putting in work for things that she wants.

• 1:16:33Speaker 03

My rent has never been late, ever.

• 1:16:35Caleb Hammer?

Mom supports you. You fucking you put all your money on credit cards and now they're over maxed out. So guess what? In order to live the lifestyle you want to live, you're not going to be able to put them on credit cards anymore. Rent might be late and it's also not copy and paste. You've only been in there for a little bit and now it's forty-five percent of your income. Stop saying that because things happen, they will be. It is a different situation. It is getting worse. You have gone beyond bedrock.

• 1:16:57Speaker 03

  I heard it's nice there.

• 1:17:00Caleb Hammer?

  Where?

• 1:17:01Speaker 03

Bedrock. We're friends, Lisa and Libs.

• 1:17:05Speaker 03

In the stone ages. Never mind, no pun intended.

• 1:17:10Caleb Hammer?

No pun given. One thousand twenty-four.

• 1:17:15Speaker 00

• 1:17:39Caleb Hammer?

Dollars nineteen cents, limit of a thousand. Minimum to payment, thirty-four dollars. At least no purchases on this one, but you couldn't. I mean, you started over the limit. So you literally couldn't. It wasn't via your choice or behavior change. It was you being unable to.

• 1:17:57Speaker 03

Well, I've also locked that card, too.

• 1:17:59Caleb Hammer?

  Well, thank.

• 1:18:00Speaker 03

  Yeah, I locked that one.

• 1:18:02Caleb Hammer?

Why this one and not the other three that you're fucking over?

• 1:18:04Speaker 03

Cause, uh, you know, the debt snowball effect with the minimum, start with the smallest.

• 1:18:09Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, David, she listened, David.

• 1:18:11Speaker 03

I try, so I locked it, so I can't do any more damage. Um. So.

• 1:18:17Caleb Hammer?

But you did one out of the.

• 1:18:19Speaker 03

  Yeah, I know.

• 1:18:20Caleb Hammer?

But, okay, yeah, maybe we should have listened to the other DVDs.

• 1:18:23Speaker 03

  I should have.

• 1:18:23Caleb Hammer?

Uh, because it also says, don't spend on the other credit cards. Don't spend on the other credit cards. Not gonna see the inside of a restaurant unless you're working there.

• 1:18:37Speaker 03

It's like a perfect representation of him.

• 1:18:40Caleb Hammer?

My wife is probably my sister.

• 1:18:44Caleb Hammer?

Don't know that one for a fact.

• 1:18:45Speaker 03

  Which.

• 1:18:45Caleb Hammer?

I'm just going based on the accent.

• 1:18:47Speaker 03

  You never know. It's 2025.

• 1:18:50Caleb Hammer?

Whoa, we're fucking sisters in 2025?

• 1:18:52Speaker 03

I don't know. Not me, but Dave might.

• 1:18:59Caleb Hammer?

  David, I'm sorry.

• 1:19:00Speaker 03

  Me too.

• 1:19:02Caleb Hammer?

Seven years to just pay this one off. It's a thousand dollars and it takes seven years. Thousand dollars and it takes seven years. You'll be in your 40s. Still zero dollars, still paying off credit cards. Zero dollars in our retirement, still paying off credit cards.

• 1:19:17Caleb Hammer?

Seven years for a thousand dollars. That's ridiculous. It is beyond. That is, that is beyond.

• 1:19:31Caleb Hammer?

Ninety-five dollars of interest accrued this year so far on here. Twenty-nine percent interest rate.

• 1:19:39Caleb Hammer?

  That is beyond.

• 1:19:45Caleb Hammer?

I don't, I don't understand. This is the fifth credit card and you're over the limit. You, you've been over, over five. A five out of five you've been over. I don't know how many there are, but five out of five you've been over. What a fucking joke. What a joke. What a joke.

• 1:20:03Speaker 03

Yeah, that one is also my oldest one, so I don't, I didn't want to close it when I paid it off completely before, and then I spent all of it when they upgraded my.

• 1:20:13Caleb Hammer?

One thousand, one hundred, eleven dollars and twenty cents. What?

• 1:20:16Speaker 03

Um, when they said I could spend more on it, what is? And then I was like.

• 1:20:20Caleb Hammer?

  Thirty-seven dollar minimum payment.

• 1:20:21Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:20:22Caleb Hammer?

Interest accruing, didn't purchase, because you can't. Eight years to pay off, even further in our 40s, paying off credit cards, zero dollars in retirement.

• 1:20:33Caleb Hammer?

Less than 10 years to go before you can pull from your retirement tax advantage accounts, zero dollars.

• 1:20:42Caleb Hammer?

So what did you put on this?

• 1:20:47Caleb Hammer?

  Right.

• 1:20:48Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:20:49Caleb Hammer?

Twenty-nine percent interest, hundred dollars. Hundred dollars this year so far.

• 1:20:54Speaker 03

I was gonna say, I don't think I've been using that one that much as well. Because it's, like I said, it was my oldest one and they like raised my credit limit and that's why I ended up spending and maxing it out.

• 1:21:16Caleb Hammer?

What the is this possibly? I see a thirty-five point seven seven percent interest rate. What the is this possibly?

• 1:21:22Speaker 03

  Thirty what?

• 1:21:23Caleb Hammer?

Is this possibly? It is a thirty-five point seven seven percent interest rate.

• 1:21:27Speaker 03

That was my first credit card. Wait, wait.

• 1:21:30Caleb Hammer?

  It's a loan!

• 1:21:31Speaker 03

  Oh, yep.

• 1:21:34Caleb Hammer?

Amount paid at Golden Globe Medical Spa?

• 1:21:36Speaker 03

  Yep.

• 1:21:37Caleb Hammer?

  Spa?

• 1:21:38Speaker 03

  Yep.

• 1:21:39Caleb Hammer?

What the is this? Tell me!

• 1:21:41Speaker 03

Um, it's for my face. As you could see, well, I have some makeup on, but there's some issues with my face that I need to get fixed and...

• 1:21:50Caleb Hammer?

  What's broken?

• 1:21:54Caleb Hammer?

And what is the spa doing to fix it?

• 1:21:55Speaker 03

Well, it's like a, like aesthetics, like microneedling or stuff like that.

• 1:22:02Caleb Hammer?

What's wrong? Is it just a dry face?

• 1:22:04Speaker 03

Well, I have like eczema and things of that nature, but I also...

• 1:22:07Caleb Hammer?

So we're trying to fix it or we're going to a spa?

• 1:22:11Speaker 03

The sun damage and other things of that nature.

• 1:22:13Caleb Hammer?

  Go, sunscreen lady!

• 1:22:14Speaker 03

Well, when there's sun damage already, the sunscreen doesn't fix that.

• 1:22:17Caleb Hammer?

Why weren't you wearing sunscreen to begin with?

• 1:22:19Speaker 03

I did, I just forget to reapply sometimes.

• 1:22:22Caleb Hammer?

You can't. You live in Florida. This is basic usage. So now you have a thirty-five point seven seven percent interest loan?

• 1:22:27Speaker 03

  Yep.

• 1:22:27Caleb Hammer?

  That's fucking dumb! It's dumb!

• 1:22:33Caleb Hammer?

This is so stupid. Spa, spa, spa? Photofacials and botox, they're saying.

• 1:22:40Speaker 03

Yeah. So the photofacials for the sun damage.

• 1:22:43Caleb Hammer?

  And Botox?

• 1:22:44Speaker 03

It was for the "You got me fucked up" lines, the Euro 11s. I look at people like this all the time because they got me fucked up like how I have you fucked up right now.

• 1:22:51Caleb Hammer?

That is your choice. That is a fucking want.

• 1:22:53Speaker 03

  It's just my expression.

• 1:22:54Caleb Hammer?

That is a full want. That is a full want!

• 1:22:55Speaker 03

  It was.

• 1:22:56Caleb Hammer?

That has nothing to do with anything that has happened, so fuck you.

• 1:22:58Speaker 03

  It was.

• 1:22:59Caleb Hammer?

When you, when you explained this in the beginning, you did not say that you got a want injected into you.

• 1:23:04Speaker 03

Well, the Botox was different. That was a different loan.

• 1:23:07Caleb Hammer?

Oh, it's a different fucking loan. Oh my, so spa loan is 770, 88.

• 1:23:18Caleb Hammer?

$128 payment. Stupid, going to the spa for 35.77%. I haven't heard of that before. That's a new level of fucked. New level of just dumb.

• 1:23:32Caleb Hammer?

Oh, good. You opted into a $75 six-month, uh, $75 a month membership.

• 1:23:38Speaker 03

Yeah, they get that price for the...

• 1:23:41Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, thank goodness.

• 1:23:42Speaker 03

For, like, to get the price for everything to get lowered. Um, if you sign up for a membership, you get it cheaper, but that $75 I can use for any, anything at the end of the six months.

• 1:23:52Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you should, yeah, you should spend more money. That sounds like a wonderful idea. A wonderful idea.

• 1:23:58Speaker 03

  It was impulsive.

• 1:23:58Caleb Hammer?

You should get a membership to spend more money. That sounds fantastic. Greatest choice we've ever made in our life.

• 1:24:03Speaker 03

  That probably was, yes.

• 1:24:05Caleb Hammer?

Oh, so here it is. Ah, it didn't hurt! 35.96% interest rate. This is the Botox? Is this the Botox?

• 1:24:13Speaker 03

What, how much does that one?

• 1:24:14Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, 318!

• 1:24:15Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:24:16Caleb Hammer?

Fucking Bo fucking Tox. David doesn't suggest that either, lady. I didn't see, hear him say that on the DV fucking D's. And guess what? It's not because he was in real estate, dead and went through bankruptcy.

• 1:24:31Caleb Hammer?

$318.16, 35.96% interest rate on Botox. Minimum monthly payment, 17.7. Moronic.

• 1:24:43Caleb Hammer?

  Moronic.

• 1:24:44Speaker 03

It made me look a little bit.

• 1:24:46Caleb Hammer?

  You look your age.

• 1:24:47Speaker 03

I do, now. It starts wearing off now, and now they're coming back.

• 1:24:56Caleb Hammer?

  It's not funny.

• 1:24:57Speaker 03

I'm not. I was just trying to show you what I did.

• 1:25:00Caleb Hammer?

It's a 36 point dumb, dumb, dumb, stupid, moronic, fucking interest rate.

• 1:25:08Caleb Hammer?

  Of idiocy.

• 1:25:10Speaker 03

Yeah, that definitely was a choice.

• 1:25:12Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, that definitely was a choice that you made and then

• 1:25:16Caleb Hammer?

but guys. The slightly inconvenient things that we don't want to do. We can't do it because uh oh.

• 1:25:26Caleb Hammer?

  Suncoast Credit Union. What's this?

• 1:25:27Speaker 03

  My car loan.

• 1:25:28Caleb Hammer?

Oh, it's a $15,052. Okay, 10.25% interest rate. That is not good.

• 1:25:35Speaker 03

That's because where my credit was at when I applied for the loan.

• 1:25:38Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, I'm sure your credit's not great now.

• 1:25:40Speaker 03

Not anymore. It was when I applied for that.

• 1:25:43Caleb Hammer?

  Minimum monthly payment, $284.85.

• 1:25:48Caleb Hammer?

  What is the car?

• 1:25:49Speaker 03

  I have a white Mazda CX5. It's a 2017.

• 1:25:57Speaker 03

  I mean, I paid 15K for it.

• 1:26:00Caleb Hammer?

You paid 15, but your loan is over 15?

• 1:26:04Caleb Hammer?

  When'd you get it?

• 1:26:05Speaker 03

  Um, in September.

• 1:26:07Caleb Hammer?

You paid 15, but your current loan is over 15,000?

• 1:26:10Speaker 03

  No, what? No, no, no.

• 1:26:11Caleb Hammer?

  It's at $15,052.

• 1:26:16Caleb Hammer?

Oh, wait. No, no, this is your acceptance. I don't even know, but I'm gonna keep it there either way. Regardless, it's worth 13.

• 1:26:24Speaker 03

Okay, so like I originally, so the loan itself was 15.

• 1:26:29Caleb Hammer?

  Yes, 15.

• 1:26:30Speaker 03

And then, yeah, and that's what I paid for the car. I brought it there with my piece of crap car that was about to fail. It was a 2005 Hyundai Elantra.

• 1:26:38Caleb Hammer?

Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Okay, it's worth 13.

• 1:26:42Speaker 03

Okay, that's how much I bought it now.

• 1:26:44Caleb Hammer?

  It's a disgusting interest rate.

• 1:26:46Speaker 03

Yeah, I'm gonna try to refinance once I get a little bit better credit. Yeah, and as well, I really need to get the brake change on it because when I first got the car, they gave me the car fact report. Everything was done but the brakes and now I'm starting to feel it, but I can't afford it now.

• 1:27:02Caleb Hammer?

  You can if you weren't.

• 1:27:04Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:27:05Caleb Hammer?

You chose festivals over your brakes.

• 1:27:07Speaker 03

  I did.

• 1:27:08Caleb Hammer?

  Chose Botox over your brakes.

• 1:27:09Speaker 03

  I did.

• 1:27:11Caleb Hammer?

They're choosing all those copy and paste fucking butt lift things on Amazon over your brakes. And I guarantee your butt looking slightly bigger, but still incredibly small is not gonna keep you safe when your car crashes.

• 1:27:31Speaker 03

I bought the pants to wear on the show. They're in my bag in the.

• 1:27:34Caleb Hammer?

Why would you wear, buy the pants? I've never seen your pants. I will never see your pants and the cameras never seen your pants. And they never will. So why the are you buying pants to be on a show where I literally only see you from here to here?

• 1:27:49Speaker 03

I, my weight has changed and I don't fit in and out of my clothes. So I've had to buy.

• 1:27:54Caleb Hammer?

Why does that matter for the show?

• 1:27:56Speaker 03

I didn't know if what, I didn't know the proper clothing to wear, honestly.

• 1:27:59Caleb Hammer?

There is none. It's just wear clothes. Don't let it hang out. It's like the rule. Cause that's demonetization. Other than that, wear whatever the you want. I don't care.

• 1:28:09Speaker 03

  Yeah, I just, I just wasn't.

• 1:28:10Caleb Hammer?

That's why someone's dressed up in African wear, even though it's white as day.

• 1:28:15Speaker 03

Yeah. So I just was unsure of the clothing. So I brought pants and shorts with me and um, yeah, sensory.

• 1:28:23Caleb Hammer?

  I don't care.

• 1:28:23Speaker 03

  So that's why.

• 1:28:24Caleb Hammer?

  Sensory.

• 1:28:25Speaker 03

And then the weight gain. So that, that's why I'm buying pants.

• 1:28:31Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 1:28:32Speaker 03

  Mm hmm.

• 1:28:33Caleb Hammer?

  There it is.

• 1:28:35Speaker 03

  And that's my student loans.

• 1:28:37Caleb Hammer?

  Monthly payment, five twenty five.

• 1:28:42Speaker 03

So what's happening with that right this second is I was doing that save thing and they overturned it. I got a notification just like two weeks ago saying I need to sign up for, cause I had a, an IDR plan. And it was gonna be like a hundred and thirty two and they overturned that, I guess in, in the courts as well.

• 1:29:02Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 1:29:02Speaker 03

I got a notification that I was in a sixty day forbearance and they'll let me know what my new payment's going to be.

• 1:29:08Caleb Hammer?

Well, looks like five hundred twenty five dollars and sixty cents.

• 1:29:12Speaker 03

Yes. This was about like two weeks ago. So I don't know.

• 1:29:14Caleb Hammer?

They're making you pay back the contract that you signed.

• 1:29:17Speaker 03

  Yeah, no, that's.

• 1:29:17Caleb Hammer?

  It's a crazy contract.

• 1:29:18Speaker 03

That's completely okay that I need to pay. It's just um, so I signed for that, but they said.

• 1:29:23Caleb Hammer?

Why? Listen, I get, I'm actually okay with income driven when people are in struggling situations. I'm good with that. But also let's just look at it logically. You a hundred percent knew what you were signing up for when you signed up. You signed the contract. Why the you get something special?

• 1:29:38Speaker 03

I shouldn't. I don't think I am entitled to anything special. I just, um, I think I just was more uneducated than anything with that. And I did take out more than I needed. Um, I didn't lower the-

• 1:29:50Caleb Hammer?

You know, a lot of people sign just paperwork at 18, go to college. It's just a tradition. Instead of, in the course, counselors don't talk about it. And certainly the refs at the school don't because they want you to go there and spend all their money. So I get it. The system is set up to get the person to just-

• 1:30:02Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:30:02Caleb Hammer?

  Sign the dotted line. But-

• 1:30:06Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:30:06Caleb Hammer?

We don't live in a stupid age. We have YouTube. We have more resources than ever for seeking knowledge if you really just want to. It's like-

• 1:30:14Speaker 03

  Yeah, so-

• 1:30:15Caleb Hammer?

  It's a hard time.

• 1:30:16Speaker 03

Yeah, so that's what's going on. So I don't know. It's in a forbearance right now. I don't know what the new payment will be. I'm gonna find out soon, but they said if they don't come back in 60 days, they're gonna put another forbearance and let me know soon. And I'm like,

• 1:30:27Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, we'll see.

• 1:30:28Speaker 03

Yeah. So that one is a little iffy.

• 1:30:30Caleb Hammer?

I'll cross it off for now, but that's gonna be brutal when it hits.

• 1:30:32Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 1:30:32Caleb Hammer?

  Is that all your debt?

• 1:30:35Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 1:30:36Caleb Hammer?

Great. I have an ending balance and a checking account of $5.

• 1:30:40Speaker 03

  That, uh, that's, um-

• 1:30:41Caleb Hammer?

And $0. And then the main one, $16.

• 1:30:44Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah. It's a credit union. So like, you have to do like a fi- like a, each person puts in like $5 to have an account with the credit union. And then there's a savings account, then a checking account in it.

• 1:30:55Caleb Hammer?

Uh, but even though we have no money and we can't pay our loans and we decided to fuck our entire life and can't afford anything, we're doing Amazon, Amazon, KFC, KFC, uh, TV, Aeropost, Amazon, Spotify, Amazon, uh, PayPal, PayPal, more TV. I think you're renting movies. Zell, KFC, DoorDash. You're DoorDash, but you're not paying your fucking debt? Sure. Zelling out money. eBay, DoorDash, PayPal, Amazon, Amazon, PayPal. Going in, getting some BS. More tickets and skippers and skippers. So two tickets in the month, by the way.

• 1:31:36Caleb Hammer?

Mo, moo, go. Amazon, Wendy's, car wash. You live in Florida. Fuck off. PayPal, Amazon. Oh, a fee, some fee, PayPal.

• 1:31:50Caleb Hammer?

Oh, good. Yep. Overdrafted. You overdrafted.

• 1:31:54Speaker 03

  Last month?

• 1:31:55Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, you didn't even know.

• 1:32:00Speaker 03

Like I deposit my checks on Tuesday.

• 1:32:02Caleb Hammer?

  Three times.

• 1:32:05Caleb Hammer?

Two, sorry, sorry, it's two times. You overdrafted twice.

• 1:32:08Speaker 03

Last month or end of the year.

• 1:32:11Caleb Hammer?

  Last month.

• 1:32:14Caleb Hammer?

Last month. You overdrafted three times last month.

• 1:32:21Caleb Hammer?

Two, I don't know why I keep seeing three. Two times. So that you can DoorDash and go to KFC and tickets? And not pay more towards our debt? Yeah.

• 1:32:33Speaker 03

Yeah, those tickets got sold on StubHub.

• 1:32:36Caleb Hammer?

Single cat lady headed to her mid 30s. Who would have thought?

• 1:33:09Caleb Hammer?

  This is a complete disaster.

• 1:33:12Speaker 03

I knew it since I was born.

• 1:33:14Caleb Hammer?

  Huh?

• 1:33:14Speaker 03

I knew what happened since I was born.

• 1:33:16Caleb Hammer?

  Why?

• 1:33:17Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 1:33:18Caleb Hammer?

You had a boyfriend. I was honestly mostly just joking about cat ladies. That's not even true.

• 1:33:23Speaker 03

I had a boyfriend for seven years and then he destroyed my credit.

• 1:33:27Caleb Hammer?

Okay, that sucks. But either way, I was mostly just making a joke about cat ladies. Like, that's not even true. Like, I don't care. You can be single. I have, uh, uh, single women friends who are doing very well. That's not a bad thing. Who cares? You do whatever you want to do. I don't give a fuck. But my goodness, you're living up to the stereotype. Steak and Shake Wendy's so that we can overdraft our checking account. Apple Bill, KFC so that we can overdraft our checking account. PayPal money going out. And then we overdraft our checking account. Oh, great. Wonderful.

• 1:34:02Caleb Hammer?

I don't know, dude. Good luck.

• 1:34:04Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:34:04Caleb Hammer?

This is, this is one of the, I'm gonna make a budget, but it's one of those where I don't think making a budget even matters. Cause like you will make every excuse in the world not to do something because it's slightly difficult. But if you want to do something like we saw, you'll do it.

• 1:34:17Speaker 03

Well, I have my mind set up right now to get this handled. So I think that's, that's

• 1:34:22Caleb Hammer?

For the next thirty minutes. Total income, we're gonna say three thousand after your side hustles. And setting aside a little money for taxes from those. Debt minimum monthly payments, let's get that. Let's not include the student loans. We don't know what that payment will be when it hits.

• 1:34:36Caleb Hammer?

  I don't know, we'll find out. Won't be good.

• 1:34:41Caleb Hammer?

Debt minimum monthly payments, seven hundred ninety-five dollars and three cents. Crazy. What's your rent? Rent?

• 1:34:48Speaker 03

I saw, so it's eleven hundred, but then I pay

• 1:34:51Caleb Hammer?

Yes, yes, yes. I know, I know you do other things. I'm asking just rent.

• 1:34:54Speaker 03

  Eleven hundred.

• 1:34:55Caleb Hammer?

I knew you were gonna do that. Okay. Now what's your utilities?

• 1:34:59Speaker 03

  Um, so the water, trash.

• 1:35:01Caleb Hammer?

Oh, come on, you're just still in the fold.

• 1:35:03Speaker 03

It's two hundred, no, a hundred and thirty dollars.

• 1:35:07Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 1:35:09Speaker 03

  That's not with electricity.

• 1:35:12Caleb Hammer?

That's now with electricity? Add electricity!

• 1:35:14Speaker 03

Okay, it's about eighty bucks on top of that.

• 1:35:17Caleb Hammer?

  Okay. So two hundred twenty.

• 1:35:23Caleb Hammer?

Uh, no, sorry, two hundred ten, right?

• 1:35:25Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:35:25Caleb Hammer?

Uh, okay. Gas, vroom, vroom, drive, drive.

• 1:35:29Speaker 03

Like a hundred dollars now that I'm

• 1:35:30Caleb Hammer?

  Phone bill, phone bill.

• 1:35:32Speaker 03

  Uh, twenty-five dollars.

• 1:35:33Caleb Hammer?

  Car insurance?

• 1:35:35Speaker 03

A hundred or two hundred dollars.

• 1:35:38Caleb Hammer?

TP fund, anything else you need to survive, hundred dollars. Necessary food, not much. Three hundred dollars, use our cookbook, you get it for free. Once they get in, there's a delay in the shipping, but they're almost here.

• 1:35:50Caleb Hammer?

Medical bill, copays, things like that, anything?

• 1:35:53Speaker 03

  Doctor's visits are five dollars.

• 1:35:55Caleb Hammer?

  How many a month?

• 1:35:56Speaker 03

Uh, probably, two, four, six, uh, four or, no, wait, two, four, eight.

• 1:36:02Caleb Hammer?

  Doctor visits?

• 1:36:03Speaker 03

I go to other chiropractors twice a week.

• 1:36:06Caleb Hammer?

  That qualifies, okay.

• 1:36:07Speaker 03

Well, that's five dollars, that's medical. Right?

• 1:36:11Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 1:36:12Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:36:13Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 1:36:13Speaker 03

And my medications are zero right now unless it's a different tier.

• 1:36:16Caleb Hammer?

You said it's five dollars per doctor visit?

• 1:36:18Speaker 03

  Uh, for specialist, yeah.

• 1:36:19Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so only forty dollars in copays a month?

• 1:36:21Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:36:22Caleb Hammer?

Okay, that's it for your medical?

• 1:36:24Speaker 03

  For, yeah, for right now.

• 1:36:25Caleb Hammer?

Okay, subscriptions, no. Cat, age and health?

• 1:36:28Speaker 03

My cat just turned thirteen, she's in great health.

• 1:36:32Caleb Hammer?

Okay, no pet insurance, won't qualify. Pet food, how much?

• 1:36:37Speaker 03

Maybe, uh, can I buy a big bag and it lasts like six months, so that's like forty dollars?

• 1:36:42Caleb Hammer?

Okay, forty divided by six, okay, seven bucks.

• 1:36:46Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:36:47Caleb Hammer?

Anything else that needs to be in your budget that I have not put in your budget?

• 1:36:53Speaker 03

Hmm, trying to think, just those, the cherry things. No, I think that's about it. Until my student loans hit.

• 1:37:04Speaker 03

We'll figure that one out on a different day.

• 1:37:05Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you really have no wiggle room if you don't work anything extra. You're actually under by a hundred dollars if you don't work anything extra. But if you do get up to three thousand, you actually do survive, but barely, but basically no wiggle room whatsoever. Uh, a hundred and twenty-two dollars and seventy cents, to be exact, in wiggle room. So, huh, let's see.

• 1:37:27Caleb Hammer?

Uh, six hundred sixty, uh, six hundred sixteen months to pay off that, or fifty-one years. So, here's the reality, and this is kind of what I knew was coming from the beginning. The reality is, I mean, you gotta suck it up, take advantage of the accommodations, go to a school, community college, or whatever you can do that offers the programs that you want to do, and actually put in the work and the time and find the accommodations that you can, put in the effort. The amount of effort that you take to go over the step, to go to a rave, to do a trip, to go to a fucking vortex or whatever, whatever, you do that amount of effort, just put even half of it into just trying to find a system that works for you, even if it takes you twice as long to complete school. We need to boost our income. If we're going and we're borrowing a little bit more for school for the long-term life, I am okay with that.

• 1:38:11Caleb Hammer?

But you need to boost your income, we gotta get to at least thirty dollars an hour, even if that is starting a whole brand new Career through the certification or just becoming an entry level desk person somewhere and working your way up or working a second job, working the McDonald's, something on the side. You gotta bring in more money. Those are your options. Once you bring in more money, then yes, pay off the desk smallest to largest, no spending on them whatsoever. That is not involved in David's and David's little snowball. He didn't invent it, but either way, just because you're watching the DVDs.

• 1:38:40Speaker 03

Yeah, that was a while ago.

• 1:38:42Caleb Hammer?

And then we gotta start catching up on retirement. You gotta get a six month emergency fund, then catch up on retirement. But you need to focus on either school or picking up a second job. Those are your two options, school or second job, or go through bankruptcy. But you haven't changed your behavior. So bankruptcy would just hurt you in the end because you would get back in the situation that you're already in with credit and not getting in apartments and a lot of different struggle things. So if you do go through bankruptcy, at least prove that you can live this lifestyle for three to six months. Change your behavior.

• 1:39:10Caleb Hammer?

  I don't know, man.

• 1:39:13Caleb Hammer?

I don't think you're gonna do anything that is slightly inconvenient. You're gonna find an excuse to not do it.

• 1:39:17Speaker 03

I don't think so. My mind is definitely.

• 1:39:19Caleb Hammer?

  For the next thirty minutes.

• 1:39:21Speaker 03

No, I flew out here for a reason. I'm definitely here.

• 1:39:26Caleb Hammer?

Well, I hope so. Come back on the financial audit follow up channel. I gave you a path forward.

• 1:39:31Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:39:31Caleb Hammer?

They're relatively simple paths. You just have to figure out which one you want to choose. Do one of them, come back on here in six months on the follow up channel and prove me wrong. Spending in a budget, you technically spent under what you make surprisingly, but none of it went towards anything productive. So two out of 10. Debt, it's bad debt, you know, especially for your income situation. It's not the worst debt in the world, but it is a two out of 10. Emergency fund, nothing, zero out of 10, retirement, nothing, zero out of 10, real estate, nothing, zero out of 10.
