  You have majestic hair.

• 2:07Speaker 01

  Thank you, thank you.

• 2:09Speaker 05

Doing my research is like, we'll see how he does on this podcast first. If I may, I like to introduce Dash as the cover art from the romantic smut that your wives and girlfriends read.

• 2:22Speaker 01

It's not too far off, I feel.

• 2:25Speaker 06

  That is amazing.

• 2:28Speaker 05

I was like, why does this dude look like he'd be on the cover of a romance novel? Chat, is it gay to recognize the prowess of another man's?

• 2:35Speaker 04

I feel like he's just the Pokemon evolution of me.

• 2:39The Fat Electrician?

  All of a sudden.

• 2:41Speaker 05

I fed him the lightning stone.

• 2:45The Fat Electrician?

Him being a successful realtor is making more and more sense.

• 2:48Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 2:50The Fat Electrician?

Here's the master bedroom. Imagine it.

• 2:53Speaker 01

Imagine. Like you're standing, two guys will lay on it.

• 2:56Speaker 04

  Wonderful.

• 2:57Speaker 05

Look at that giant mirror in the corner.

• 3:00Speaker 01

  Flower petals.

• 3:03Speaker 06

  Do you do real estate?

• 3:04Speaker 01

Yeah. YouTube is, yeah, just for fun. Yeah, my wife has done it for a while.

• 3:08Speaker 06

What's your female client base like? Higher than 50%?

• 3:12Speaker 01

No, I get along with the dudes more, you know, I feel like it's just more chill, you know, I think the long hair is like more relaxed for a lot of the guys.

• 3:19Speaker 04

Women just don't want to talk about longbows as much.

• 3:22Speaker 01

Nah, no, no, yeah, no, it's unfortunately, it's not appreciated as much.

• 3:26Speaker 06

  Cause they're gay.

• 3:27Speaker 05

Damn, do I feel that, dude.

• 3:28Speaker 04

I mean, yeah, women suck dick. I mean, that's pretty gay, if you ask me.

• 3:33The Fat Electrician?

  I mean, science.

• 3:36Speaker 05

  This stuff's kicked out.

• 3:37Speaker 06

Did you, so do you guys know each other?

• 3:39Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 3:40Speaker 06

How long have you guys known each other? I don't know the lore between any of this.

• 3:43Speaker 05

How long does it go back?

• 3:44Speaker 01

  Maybe two years.

• 3:46Speaker 05

We've served in the ranks together in His Majesty the King's army, fighting against the French in France, campaigning on many a campaign.

• 3:55Speaker 04

Sir, please leave the medieval times. I'm sorry.

• 3:58Speaker 06

  Did you guys LARP together?

• 3:59Speaker 01

  No.

• 4:00Speaker 04

  Technically, yes.

• 4:01Speaker 01

Actually, yeah, yeah, our first video together was like a LARP.

• 4:04Speaker 05

Yeah, we served in the LARP Corps together.

• 4:06Speaker 01

Yes, yes. We did a bow versus ballistic dummy as the first one.

• 4:10Speaker 05

Yeah, everyone got mad about the quality of the armor. Damn, dude, I can't afford legit cure asses all the time.

• 4:16Speaker 01

  We're very expensive.

• 4:18Speaker 05

Doesn't get on my ass about that, so.

• 4:20Speaker 01

It's gonna be a super autistic episode. You were saying that yesterday.

• 4:25The Fat Electrician?

Do we really think the medieval peasants wouldn't be rocking Amazon armor if they had Amazon?

• 4:30Speaker 05

  That's what I'm saying.

• 4:30The Fat Electrician?

That's exactly what they would have.

• 4:31Speaker 05

That was one of my points. Dude that bought the cheap armor and watch him die.

• 4:36The Fat Electrician?

King Henry, this guy can beat on a piece of metal with a hammer for 18 years, or you can just give Jeff Bezos like six grand.

• 4:43Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 4:43Speaker 04

  Ye olde wish.com.

• 4:47Speaker 05

Contracting lowest bidder has been around for a while.

• 4:52The Fat Electrician?

All right. Favorite, favorite night movie?

• 4:55Speaker 01

A knight's tale. It was fun, yeah.

• 4:57The Fat Electrician?

My top two for sure. It's tied for one.

• 5:00Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 5:00Speaker 05

Is it the Heath Ledger one?

• 5:02Speaker 04

Is it the Heath Ledger one?

• 5:03The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah.

• 5:03Speaker 01

Yeah. Yeah, that was very fun back in the day for sure.

• 5:08Speaker 04

That was a movie that could have only come out of the early 2000s.

• 5:11Speaker 01

  Yeah, I think so.

• 5:12The Fat Electrician?

  So great.

• 5:12Speaker 01

Just running down there with no armor, jousting like even wood is going straight through.

• 5:17Speaker 05

  Medieval existed.

• 5:19Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 5:19Speaker 04

Yeah, medieval peasants chanting, "We will rock you."

• 5:27The Fat Electrician?

  It holds up so well.

• 5:31Speaker 05

  It's a classic.

• 5:32The Fat Electrician?

No, that or uh, what's the, God, I forget the name of it every time. It's a Netflix exclusive one with Matt Damon and Adam Driver.

• 5:40Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 5:41The Fat Electrician?

Where they have a night fight at the end.

• 5:42Speaker 01

  Yeah, the last duel, yeah.

• 5:43Speaker 04

Yeah. Hmm. Based off of, that's factual.

• 5:46Speaker 01

Yeah, that was based off the last duel to death, I think, that was recorded, the last actual death by combat.

• 5:52Speaker 04

Also, wild story because no one knows the truth.

• 5:55Speaker 01

  Exactly.

• 5:56Speaker 04

  There's three variations.

• 5:57Speaker 01

Yeah, it was, it's a trivia story for sure.

• 5:59The Fat Electrician?

I just thought the night, like the night fight at the end was like actually like, oh, this is a full on cage fight with swords and armor.

• 6:06Speaker 04

  And the opponent died.

• 6:08The Fat Electrician?

And then, nah, it's not like, oh, honor him.

• 6:11Speaker 01

Yeah, and that's, that's the cool thing, I think, too, because like in doing what I'm doing, I've reached, met a lot of guys that do the boohurt, which is like the full cage contact, you know, sports MMA of the, of the grappling. With armor and all that stuff and there's one guy out in Germany to queed him and so he's giving me some armor pieces to test and we've kind of gotten close back and forth but he does unscripted night fights with different cultures so he's got a crew that he goes with one guy it's like a Samurai and a knight and so the weapons are dull but they straight up brawl and it goes into a clinch within like 15 seconds every time right the clinch and then the takedown it's really not fancy it's not fancy swordsmanship it's instant engagement takedowns

• 6:53Speaker 06

I think I've talked about that this is the uh so that's the individual that does those realistic battles yeah hey this is how this would play out actually

• 7:01Speaker 01

I think so and he's a German guy

• 7:02Speaker 06

Yup and then they'll do like three peasants versus

• 7:05Speaker 01

Yeah the knight yeah five peasants versus the knight yeah that's that's the guy

• 7:08Speaker 06

Brutal cuz he just goes in and murders all of them it's like oh this is actually how this would play out and that's where you see there's no flash or anything it's like I'm gonna just

• 7:19Speaker 06

stab you in between the crease of the armor and watch you bleed out

• 7:23Speaker 04

  Jesus

• 7:23Speaker 06

  Oh it's gnarly

• 7:24Speaker 04

Where does he keep finding more people to volunteer to be the peasants?

• 7:29Speaker 06

It's super good shit if you haven't watched that that is fantastic to watch have you done any of that yet?

• 7:34Speaker 01

No no I haven't no that's I that's a lot of investment for initial cost just for the armor sets and everything like I've loved I would love to do it I've done you know wrestling and grappling jiu-jitsu for a long time What do you mean?

• 7:48Speaker 06

  How much?

• 7:48Speaker 01

  For all that stuff?

• 7:49Speaker 06

  Yeah

• 7:50Speaker 01

I mean he sent me some stuff and just like for the gauntlets and everything that's like 400 bucks for just the gauntlets and that's like a cheaper part they articulate and everything and I'd say

• 7:59Speaker 04

That's not as bad as I thought

• 8:00The Fat Electrician?

I'd say Unsub's gonna sponsor him we're gonna fight him like a Pokemon

• 8:04Speaker 01

  I will do it

• 8:05Speaker 04

  You will be our champion

• 8:06Speaker 01

I'll do it Straight up no I've I've done jiu-jitsu for a long time

• 8:11Speaker 06

Brandon Martin I choose you you come out

• 8:13Speaker 01

100% sponsor I'll go in the cage heck yes

• 8:16The Fat Electrician?

How long you been doing jiu-jitsu?

• 8:18Speaker 01

  Uh like eight nine years

• 8:19The Fat Electrician?

  Black belt?

• 8:20Speaker 01

No no no I took it I took Tom on purple I took Tom on off off off you know how it is when you get older it's like you can't really do it consistently

• 8:27The Fat Electrician?

  Bro we're sponsoring a knight

• 8:29Speaker 04

  We're sending him to Buffalo

• 8:33Speaker 06

So can I have a different name?

• 8:34Speaker 01

  No

• 8:37Speaker 01

We're sponsoring this, it's our name.

• 8:42Speaker 04

He's right outside of the Buffalo Public School System headquarters and just like, bring out your champion.

• 8:49Speaker 04

Succumb the knight of the realm of the unsubscribe.

• 8:52The Fat Electrician?

I can get bunker to make the come flags.

• 8:55Speaker 06

Oh my gosh. Dude, we will buy the nicest.

• 9:00Speaker 01

Dude, yeah, get this like, cause the.

• 9:01The Fat Electrician?

The gang sponsors a knight? We'll go film it.

• 9:06Speaker 06

  You think we're joking?

• 9:07Speaker 01

  I don't.

• 9:10Speaker 01

I've never wanted anything more than I want. And I'm married with children.

• 9:17Speaker 06

You kiss them goodnight and walk to your mansion? No, we're going realistic horseback the entire way.

• 9:25The Fat Electrician?

Your kids are still younger, right?

• 9:27Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 9:27The Fat Electrician?

They're, how old are they? They're all over ten?

• 9:28Speaker 01

  They're seven, six, five.

• 9:30The Fat Electrician?

Bro, do you know how cool it would be for him though, to like have his kids show up and, oh my God, my dad's a knight at five years old? My dad is succumb.

• 9:43Speaker 01

Think of the children with the name. Give me, give me something here. I don't want him saying it in school.

• 9:48Speaker 06

  Succumbius.

• 9:51Speaker 04

  Your last name is Sision.

• 9:55The Fat Electrician?

  Succision.

• 9:56Speaker 05

Ooh, we gotta change up the PR for the kids.

• 10:02Speaker 06

You wanted to do actually, I think you're the one to talk about it. We've done.

• 10:06The Fat Electrician?

Cause they do it out at a, out at that museum we went to, me and Ethan, that furniture museum and like old village thing and um, what's that town? Right, like an hour away, New brothels, yeah. They said they do it there every year. They have a Renaissance festival and they have like the night fighting.

• 10:20Speaker 06

Cause people want us to do it.

• 10:22Speaker 04

  The night fighting?

• 10:23Speaker 06

Yeah. And we've already got, like though, we got people that would be like, hey, we'll loan armor for that if we do the fights.

• 10:29Speaker 04

That's kinda cool. I, I have seen a couple of those videos though, where you know, people are just using the big fucking hammers and shit. Dude, just takes a hit to the back of the head and the armor, like the helmet dents. That meme like, anybody got an ibuprofen?

• 10:43The Fat Electrician?

Back before they developed crumple zones and all the, all the impact just goes right through the metal into your body.

• 10:51Speaker 04

Your, the back of your skull is the crumple zone.

• 10:53The Fat Electrician?

Yeah. I try to argue with old people about that like old cars back in the day you could get in a fender bender and they were fine. I go, yeah, but you weren't.

• 11:05The Fat Electrician?

They're meant to do that so you don't die.

• 11:07Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 11:09Speaker 04

Your body explodes on the inside. That's what would happen.

• 11:13Speaker 06

Old people. So we'll do, are you down to join this medieval festival?

• 11:17The Fat Electrician?

How many, how many pairs of knight armor do we need?

• 11:20Speaker 06

  Of course.

• 11:20Speaker 04

You already have one, I'm sure.

• 11:22The Fat Electrician?

Me and him could probably wear the same set. Not at the same time.

• 11:25Speaker 05

Close enough. We're not at the same time.

• 11:26Speaker 06

  If I leave Lord commands.

• 11:28The Fat Electrician?

I'm not, I'm not wearing the knight armor the entire time. It's gonna get hot as shit.

• 11:33Speaker 01

Yeah, that's the one thing is.

• 11:34Speaker 04

I don't wanna share. It's gonna get sweaty, dude.

• 11:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 11:36Speaker 04

The gang does this in November.

• 11:41Speaker 06

  August.

• 11:43Speaker 06

  The gang dies from.

• 11:45Speaker 01

But we just gotta make sure you got the full kit. So you got the arming jacket, the mail, and then the plate and all that stuff.

• 11:52The Fat Electrician?

  New side quest.

• 11:53Speaker 04

Dude, I'm gonna start doing more deadlifting. Jesus.

• 11:55Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 11:56Speaker 06

Yeah, it was like sixty to a hundred and twenty pounds for full mail?

• 11:59Speaker 01

Yeah, I'd say probably, because everything like the mail and then the plate and all that stuff is probably sixty pounds, I would say. It's probably close to that. Depends on the quality, because right now a lot of guys that have, like, you're heavily invested, they use titanium. So it's gonna be.

• 12:12The Fat Electrician?

  Oh, that's cheating.

• 12:13Speaker 01

It's gonna be a fraction of the weight, you know, for the same amount of protection, if not better.

• 12:16Speaker 04

How much is a titanium suit?

• 12:18Speaker 01

I don't know. The guy, Decquidum, he make, he has one, but I never asked him how much it is. But his like, his real suit is like part of his.

• 12:25Speaker 04

  Ee ol' SR seventy-one armor.

• 12:27The Fat Electrician?

I was. An SR seventy-one joke.

• 12:30Speaker 05

Uh, what does Master Chief wear? Was it Milnor?

• 12:32The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah, Milnor.

• 12:36Speaker 01

  Can't move.

• 12:37Speaker 04

Get some ceramite, space marine it. The god king emperor.

• 12:42Speaker 06

  That's what it demands.

• 12:43Speaker 04

There's a bunch of people in our audience who've never felt the touch of a woman who are loving this episode.

• 12:49Speaker 01

  I'm so stoked.

• 12:55The Fat Electrician?

Tackling somebody. I'm not messing with swords or nothing. It's going straight to the ground.

• 12:59Speaker 01

You train, right? All right, then, me and you, we'll go at the same time, just straight up, just go straight for the takedown.

• 13:04The Fat Electrician?

  Double leg.

• 13:05Speaker 01

Jiu Jitsu in night armor. Exactly.

• 13:07Speaker 04

He's looking for another muscle group to tear.

• 13:09Speaker 01

  Yeah, I know.

• 13:11The Fat Electrician?

Never get torn doing combat. I always get torn doing dumb stuff like bench press.

• 13:14Speaker 06

That is the dumbest thing you can do is fight in night armor, I think.

• 13:19The Fat Electrician?

That's what I said. I never get, I never get injured doing dumb stuff. I always get injured. Well, like, cool stuff. I always get injured doing stupid stuff, like stuff that shouldn't injure me, injures me.

• 13:28Speaker 04

Cause the last year, you popped two titties and a bicep?

• 13:31The Fat Electrician?

No, the two titties, the first titty was like four years ago. So it's been a while. Yeah.

• 13:35Speaker 06

  Forty to fifty pounds?

• 13:37The Fat Electrician?

  Yep.

• 13:38Speaker 06

  And then a push up?

• 13:40The Fat Electrician?

  No. Just freak accident.

• 13:43Speaker 06

  And then you caught water?

• 13:45The Fat Electrician?

  Yep.

• 13:47The Fat Electrician?

  This is true.

• 13:48Speaker 06

This is the wild. Oh, fuck yeah. Okay. Well, we'll set that up and Brandon, when do you want to fight?

• 13:55Speaker 04

  What's up?

• 13:55Speaker 06

October, late October, we'll do this?

• 13:57Speaker 04

Sure. Yeah. Well, whenever it's not fucking a billion degrees outside in Texas.

• 14:01The Fat Electrician?

Hypothetically, if you did announce you were running for Congress, would that be after? Cause there's nothing cooler than having a campaign rally while you're fighting as a knight.

• 14:10Speaker 01

No, if you like, do it again, like we could have knights next to you as you like announce.

• 14:16Speaker 04

What in the idiocracy? That is right up there with Command, President Command Show.

• 14:24The Fat Electrician?

I present to you the not so secret service. I wonder who's protecting Brandon? Is it, is it the phalanx in front of him?

• 14:34Speaker 04

Jesus Christ. That guy's got my.

• 14:40Speaker 06

Well, we're gonna do that then. I'm super fucking stoked for this. Uh, Admin, I just watched your breakdown of the battle of.

• 14:50Speaker 06

  Uh, what was the?

• 14:51Speaker 05

  Last of Us.

• 14:52Speaker 06

  Last or last?

• 14:52Speaker 05

  God.

• 14:53Speaker 06

  What's the?

• 14:53Speaker 05

God forsaken show in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

• 14:57Speaker 06

I didn't even think about a lot of stuff you brought out until you started talking about it. I was like,

• 15:01Speaker 05

  Hmm.

• 15:01Speaker 06

Yeah, they didn't do any of that for twenty five years.

• 15:04Speaker 05

They had twenty years to build mega fortress in the valley. What the hell were they doing?

• 15:11Speaker 06

You guys haven't watched it yet, have you?

• 15:12Speaker 04

I have no interest in watching the second season. First season was all right. I like, I enjoyed a good bit of it.

• 15:17Speaker 05

I will give it credit. First season, episode one, when the outbreak was happening was very good television.

• 15:23Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 15:23Speaker 05

  Very entertaining.

• 15:25Speaker 04

Well, and the last episode I thought was pretty good.

• 15:26Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 15:27Speaker 04

Couple shit in between was all right, but like, no, I, I enjoyed it. I had a good time with it. Second season, I already know what's up. I'm not watching that shit.

• 15:35Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 15:35Speaker 04

I, I was really wondering too, cause like a lot of that revolved around, uh, you know, the barrels full of gasoline.

• 15:42Speaker 05

  Hmm.

• 15:42Speaker 04

Like, where are you making that now?

• 15:44Speaker 05

  Oh.

• 15:44Speaker 04

Cause it is like twenty five fucking years after that's no longer a thing.

• 15:48Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 15:49Speaker 06

Admin, what do you point out during?

• 15:54Speaker 06

Wooden wall, which makes way less sense when it's that.

• 15:58Speaker 05

  Massive OSHA violation.

• 16:01Speaker 05

Literally with the worst catapult like metal ramp just launching these metal barrels. They have to shoot them and then they throw torches to light them on fire.

• 16:10Speaker 05

What the fuck? I don't get it.

• 16:12Speaker 04

So now you have flaming zombies that are all over your wooden wall.

• 16:15Speaker 05

Yes, yes. You're very dry wooden wall.

• 16:17Speaker 06

Did they even have a trench?

• 16:19Speaker 05

  No trench.

• 16:19Speaker 04

  Oh.

• 16:20Speaker 05

You think that anybody, please love God, build a trench.

• 16:23Speaker 06

Yeah, it's like one on one, just dig.

• 16:26Speaker 05

  Just dig a trench.

• 16:26Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 16:27Speaker 05

  Barbed wire trenches.

• 16:28Speaker 06

  Wanted a moat.

• 16:30Speaker 05

A moat? Heaven forbid a moat.

• 16:31Speaker 06

A moat would be dope. I want a drawbridge for my house. How cool that would be. It'd get really old for the F, the FedEx guy.

• 16:48Speaker 04

You have a bunch of stomped Amazon packages outside.

• 16:54The Fat Electrician?

Put it on the catapult, launch it over.

• 16:58The Fat Electrician?

I need a moat now. I don't want anybody to steal my little boy replica. I'm gonna put in my front yard.

• 17:02Speaker 05

  Hell yeah.

• 17:03Speaker 06

It's a weird thing to steal.

• 17:05Speaker 04

  The Chechens may steal.

• 17:06The Fat Electrician?

You ever met a tweaker? Scrap metal to them.

• 17:07Speaker 06

  Oh, that's very true.

• 17:08The Fat Electrician?

  It's fair game.

• 17:09Speaker 06

  How much does it weigh?

• 17:10The Fat Electrician?

  It's like 800 pounds. It's ridiculous.

• 17:14Speaker 06

  Then you steal them.

• 17:14The Fat Electrician?

It was really funny to drive across town in a trailer. It was some good looks.

• 17:18Speaker 04

Afraid of tweakers stealing your little boy?

• 17:20The Fat Electrician?

  Yes.

• 17:22Speaker 04

But there's copper in your skin. Let it out.

• 17:26Speaker 06

  Hey, Brandon.

• 17:26Speaker 04

  Yes, Eli?

• 17:27Speaker 06

When you think of businesses that are just crushing it, bunker, unsub, what's the first thing to enter your mind?

• 17:33Speaker 04

That's easy, Eli. A good child labor law attorney.

• 17:37Speaker 04

Eli, I said Shopify. What did you hear?

• 17:39Speaker 06

Actually, uh, it was the overlooked secret behind the business.

• 17:43Speaker 04

  Like I said, Shopify.

• 17:44Speaker 06

Oh. Which brings us to today's ad.

• 17:47Speaker 04

Shopify. I mean, we use Shopify on a daily basis.

Your nervous system is made of copper.

• 18:46Speaker 06

With it, uh, um, you brought up on that, the one thing I always go back, YouTube didn't exist. So you don't have tutorials and then also people, I don't know what they were doing during the outbreak, but you had soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's like, whoa, what's going on?

• 19:06Speaker 05

  Oh shit.

• 19:07Speaker 06

We stuck here now, but the training and everything, cause you pointed out, they don't have molly and stuff. They have like Alice gear, but yeah, like what the fuck?

• 19:13Speaker 05

Somebody should, should, should be good enough to carry ammunition. They have no like crew served weapons, you know, brown and fifty cal exists, saws exist, in sixties exist.

• 19:23Speaker 06

  This is, um.

• 19:24Speaker 05

The last of us. Two forties exist.

• 19:25Speaker 06

  Oh, the new season.

• 19:26Speaker 05

Muse Humes exist. And America exists. Brandon Herrera existed.

• 19:30Speaker 06

  He was like eight.

• 19:31Speaker 05

Yeah, he been, well, yeah, he been eight.

• 19:33Speaker 04

Imagine being permanently stuck in a timeline where the most recent camouflage is cutting edge is ACU.

• 19:40Speaker 05

  No, no, no, predates, predates.

• 19:41Speaker 04

  Really? What is it?

• 19:42Speaker 06

Two thousand and six is when ACU, they ended two thousand and five, early two thousand and six, ACU got rolled out. This is two thousand and three.

• 19:48Speaker 04

Two thousand and three. Oh, oh, that's fortunate.

• 19:50Speaker 05

So they got God's camo and eighty one.

• 19:53Speaker 06

  But why not?

• 19:54The Fat Electrician?

I haven't been able to find, I haven't been able to find the proof, but I'm almost positive. It was like literally just some congressman's son that got the contract because when they were developing the new camo to replace the Lord's flannel, they had like seven camos that they ran through. And they settled on, they did like testing for years. They did testing and they settled on one that looks almost identical to multi cam. They settled on it. They did the testing for years and then they went into the meeting and they're like, I like this one more, the Digi cam, and it wasn't even one of the ones that they had tested. So they ran through all the testing of like, it was like six to eight different camos, found the best one and then just pulled the shittiest camo ever out of left field. And we're like, we're going with this.

• 20:39Speaker 04

  That's the most gunless shit.

• 20:41Speaker 06

A billion dollars was spent on ACU.

• 20:44The Fat Electrician?

  It was a billion. Yeah.

• 20:45Speaker 06

One billion dollars for that camo pattern, by the way.

• 20:47Speaker 05

  To develop it?

• 20:48Speaker 06

  Yep. Yep.

• 20:51The Fat Electrician?

  Somebody, that's what I'm saying.

• 20:52Speaker 04

I think my eye just twitched.

• 20:53The Fat Electrician?

It was fucking Hunter Biden on his laptop with Microsoft Paint. Got a billion fucking dollars.

• 21:00Speaker 06

It's a grandma with her couch cushions.

• 21:02The Fat Electrician?

  I know.

• 21:03Speaker 05

Yeah. Could we pull up the picture of the, uh, the, the guy planking on grandma's couch in ACU?

• 21:08Speaker 06

See anything and it actually blends in perfectly.

• 21:10The Fat Electrician?

To be fair, the Navy's version of ACU was objectively worse.

• 21:15Speaker 06

  Oh, the water.

• 21:16The Fat Electrician?

The, the, the dark and light blue Digi Cam. You know, because if you're on a fucking warship, what you want to do is to be able to blend in with the fucking water.

• 21:26Speaker 05

  Man overboard.

• 21:27The Fat Electrician?

Where the fuck did he go?

• 21:28Speaker 05

Oh, shit. Oh, no. They lost him.

• 21:40Speaker 06

What if they find on the water, they have to blend in on.

• 21:42Speaker 05

Uh oh. I saw where he hit the water. I just can't see him.

• 21:52Speaker 04

Because you don't want to see, uh, anybody to be able to see you on a massive battleship.

• 21:57Speaker 06

  Yeah, five stories.

• 21:59The Fat Electrician?

  Right.

• 22:01Speaker 04

But what are we hiding from exactly?

• 22:03The Fat Electrician?

Don't worry, I'm sure they're gonna quit dropping bombs on the cruiser because Jim fell overboard. Fuck off.

• 22:11Speaker 06

God, you guys need to watch at least episode two, though, of, uh, The Last of Us, because it is absolutely horrendous. They throw all tactical knowledge out the window and it is 25 years they had to develop that base, right?

• 22:55Speaker 05

  Five years, dude.

• 22:56Speaker 06

  Twenty five years. Wood walls.

• 22:58Speaker 05

Yeah, it takes place 2028, so twenty five years.

• 23:00Speaker 06

Yep. And then there's no, like, past that, it's like one guy gets in and then it's just everything falls apart instantly.

• 23:07Speaker 05

One, one big chunk of a zombie hits the wall and then the whole thing falls apart.

• 23:13Speaker 06

  Very hellish, Steve.

• 23:14Speaker 05

  What was the? Holy dude.

• 23:17Speaker 06

  It's so bad.

• 23:19The Fat Electrician?

A chongus of a zombie is the best way to describe one of them.

• 23:22Speaker 06

Yo, big chongus is in. Chongus is in.

• 23:28Speaker 05

No one like shits fire and like put a bunch of lead into it.

• 23:31The Fat Electrician?

And then it's just him running.

• 23:36The Fat Electrician?

They didn't make any downstairs so every all the zombies go up top and start killing everyone instantly is bad.

• 23:41Speaker 05

  I hate HBO dude.

• 23:42Speaker 04

One of the complaints that I heard was that it was like it looked like they were getting their ass kicked and then just suddenly everything's fine.

• 23:48Speaker 05

  Yeah, they won.

• 23:49Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 23:50Speaker 05

Yeah, Tommy's wife goes and releases the hounds and then all of a sudden they win.

• 23:54Speaker 06

I forgot dogs are what help stop that.

• 23:56Speaker 05

  Yeah, I don't, I don't know, dude. I don't get it.

• 23:59The Fat Electrician?

The fuck are dogs doing against zombies?

• 24:02Speaker 06

  Unless they're immune.

• 24:03The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah.

• 24:03Speaker 06

  It wouldn't make any sense.

• 24:04Speaker 04

That is the ultimate Uno reverse card.

• 24:07The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah.

• 24:07Speaker 04

Is you're afraid to get bitten by zombies. Now they're biting the zombies.

• 24:12The Fat Electrician?

All the zombies start turning into dogs.

• 24:21Speaker 05

Holy shit, look at all these German shepherds.

• 24:23Speaker 04

In that case, I know a lot of toddlers that have turned into pit bulls.

• 24:35Speaker 04

  Movie idea, movie idea.

• 24:38Speaker 05

A werewolf that's a toddler that turns into a pit bull.

• 24:41The Fat Electrician?

How funny would that be for a spoof movie though? Like we imagine World War Z, but instead of developing the cure for immunity, we just and we develop a cure to make dogs turn the zombies into dogs. It'd be perfect.

• 24:56Speaker 05

  Can we go with mine?

• 24:59Speaker 05

I thought mine was more plausible.

• 25:03The Fat Electrician?

Uh, welcome Dash. This is where you get.

• 25:04Speaker 06

Did you watch a single episode before?

• 25:06Speaker 01

  I did.

• 25:07Speaker 06

  Okay, thank God.

• 25:08Speaker 01

I braced myself for what would be unhinged shenanigans.

• 25:11Speaker 06

He's like, I'll just watch this grandma episode.

• 25:14The Fat Electrician?

He's like, Brandon, it's like, oh, they're sweet.

• 25:17Speaker 06

Dear God, what have I done? I'm already on the plane. It's too late now.

• 25:20Speaker 04

That was just such a funny, just so such a polite letdown.

• 25:25Speaker 05

Well, we could do my movie idea.

• 25:29Speaker 04

  No.

• 25:37Speaker 06

  Holy shit.

• 25:38Speaker 05

Have to settle in the medieval knight form of combat.

• 25:41Speaker 01

  I think that's, that's a winner right there. That and the G E D thing.

• 25:45Speaker 05

  Nick's gonna kick my ass.

• 25:47The Fat Electrician?

  That'd be great.

• 25:48Speaker 06

I mean, okay, so going back to your, your medieval movies, what do you, what is your style of content specifically for yourself?

• 25:55Speaker 01

  Like me?

• 25:56Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 25:57Speaker 01

So just like, imagine you were a kid and you had two toys and you go bah and you smash them together. That's kind of the idea behind a lot of it. I shoot super heavy duty war bows. So I've trained my life to get up to like a hundred and sixty pound bow. So there's not a lot of people that do that. There's a few guys out in England, but not a lot. So I do a lot of archery type content against plate armor and different type of things like that because there's few people that have that capacity for that draw weight.

• 26:22Speaker 06

Just for reference, like a hundred and sixty, what's your max pullback?

• 26:26Speaker 05

The most I've, I've gone so far has been like a hundred and twenty ish pounds, probably.

• 26:30Speaker 06

Brandon, when you pulled minus fifty five, yes, the compound bow, but it was fifty five when you pulled it back.

• 26:36Speaker 05

Yeah, that's absurd. A hundred and twenty, fuck.

• 26:38Speaker 06

  Hundred and sixty.

• 26:39Speaker 05

  Hundred and sixty is insane.

• 26:42Speaker 01

So that was like, always been like my goal to try to get to that. So I've had some cool stuff where APA sent me like a hundred pound compound bow, which is like the latest and greatest. And so I did that. And so just like, cause a lot of people give me, I've never used the clamp. So I was using my fingers on it and a lot of people give me grief about that, but it's, they said it was fine to do. So I was pulling that and that was doing crazy work.

• 27:03Speaker 05

  He lies face right now.

• 27:04Speaker 06

Bro, you were, you weren't using a fucking release? You were just with your fingers doing a hundred pound?

• 27:10Speaker 01

  Period accurate, homie.

• 27:12Speaker 06

  How do you?

• 27:13Speaker 01

  Just three fingers.

• 27:17Speaker 01

So that was like, that was a cool one. Cause I tested against like hardened steel plate and the, the war bows fail against that. But when you get that compound, like the modern bow and it had a um bishop arrow. So bishops are like, they're the arrows used for hunting elephants in big game. It's like a seventy hundred grain.

• 27:32Speaker 05

What the fuck did you just say?

• 27:35Speaker 06

Not to hunt an elephant with a pointed stick.

• 27:37Speaker 01

  No.

• 27:38Speaker 06

When there's a, you're still. A hundred pounds on a compound bow. Your poor wife.

• 27:47Speaker 05

180 pound rated makers right there. Fellas, it's hard to articulate the satisfaction I have right now for having my reference material here in flesh. Bash doesn't know how many times he get here and in real life I've referenced him, so it's nice to have my, uh, source material present, so.

• 28:10Speaker 04

I can tell you, if you ever get into the AK space, I'm kinda fucked.

• 28:16The Fat Electrician?

Have you ever had like any, uh, I guess like x-rays comparing arms to see if after doing this for so long, you have more bone density in a particular arm over the other?

• 28:26Speaker 01

I actually haven't done that, but I like, this is anecdotal, but I got like, a while ago I got a massage, um, and the guy was talking to me and he's like.

• 28:36Speaker 05

  Hold on.

• 28:37Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 28:43Speaker 01

  Just saying.

• 28:45Speaker 05

  He has strong hands.

• 28:46Speaker 01

Yes. So what do you do for a living?

• 28:50Speaker 01

My wife made the massage. It was a couples massage. She was in the room, which I don't know if makes it worse. I'm digging a deeper hole, dear God.

• 28:57The Fat Electrician?

  She's sitting in the corner.

• 28:58Speaker 01

We really don't need to know about that.

• 29:01Speaker 06

She was in the room is way worse.

• 29:03Speaker 01

I'm in it now. I'm gonna finish the story. I can't bore it. We're just gonna go ahead.

• 29:07Speaker 04

So your, your wife is watching?

• 29:09Speaker 01

  Yes, yes, yes.

• 29:15Speaker 01

But, but they'd said that it felt like there was like two different backs when he was doing it, like the way the muscle ligaments attached on one side versus the other one. Felt extremely different, like there was different, like it felt almost like a completely different anatomy for one, left side to the right side.

• 29:31The Fat Electrician?

And then he charged you for two massages?

• 29:33Speaker 01

Yes, yes, yes, yes. So I do think that there's a little bit of that and historically you could find because they start at such a young age, there was actually, they would deform the skeleton because it would mess with the growth patterns because they would start pulling it so young. So they can identify archers by their skeletons because there is a curve and they have an example of one at a history museum over in England of an archer skeleton and they had like, it was like the excess bone mass on a specific side. So there's a little bit of a hunch as well just from the strain of doing the actual weight of that bow.

• 30:04Speaker 06

Kind of makes sense. It's like MMA with like conditioning. Yeah. You know. Yeah. Anything like that from like Thai fighters.

• 30:10Speaker 01

Yeah, very similar. Yeah, exactly. Same concept as that. Yeah. So I've never done the x-ray. I've had people ask to do it, but I haven't done that yet. So.

• 30:19The Fat Electrician?

  Do it.

• 30:19Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 30:20The Fat Electrician?

  All right. We'll sponsor that.

• 30:21Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 30:23Speaker 06

  Circums a lot.

• 30:29Speaker 04

We're making sure that the strength of our fighters where we need you to be.

• 30:32Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 30:33Speaker 04

We need the MRIs, the x-rays, you know, don't want to bet on a lame horse.

• 30:40Speaker 01

Oh my gosh, I'm just commodity now, just getting pushed around.

• 30:44Speaker 04

I didn't have unsub gets into Mandingo fighting.

• 30:50Speaker 06

  Took a different turn.

• 30:51Speaker 01

  Here we are.

• 30:55Speaker 01

So, and then in addition to that, I do a lot of stuff with the sling, the shepherd's sling. So that's the thing that like David's used, right? That's old school rope, like just rope over the head swing around. And so I do a lot of stuff with that, testing it against different types of armor, soft armors as well. So I do some of the, the bone, like most of my stuff, I don't have the budget for like ballistic dummy, but I get like cow ribs and femurs and things like that to test it behind like the soft armor, how a sling does against that. So like if a rock would crack rib behind.

• 31:25Speaker 06

Well, you were saying, how big were the arrows? How many grain were they?

• 31:27Speaker 01

So the arrows are like 1500, 1600 grains.

• 31:30Speaker 06

And then how was for the 160 pounds? How big are those?

• 31:33Speaker 01

No, that's, that's about 1700 grains for that. 1700 grains. But the arrows I got from Bishop Archery were 1700 modern arrows and they have like zero flex and those are like 200 bucks a pop. The guy was nice enough to send me like six of them to try, but they're really expensive.

• 31:49Speaker 06

1700 grains for references, like just under 350 cals. God dang.

• 31:57Speaker 06

There's a massive, massive, and then that one, how hard is that 160?

• 32:02Speaker 01

I mean, that's the limit right now. I have 180 and 175 I've been working towards. My goal was always to get to 200 because that's like the world record technically. There's people that do more, but they just haven't. You know how the world record works where it's like people like, I want to pay for this. And so they get the record, but there's dudes out there that can pull like 210, 220, but I've always just wanted to get to like that 200 pounds. So I've worked on that for a long time, but once I got to 160, 165, I've just been stuck. Like you just, your body, it's so taxing that you, your body just wants to break in on itself, like especially the left shoulder, trying to hold it out at that point. It's almost like compressing you in.

• 32:37Speaker 06

And mass moves mass and you're not, you're like a buck 90, maybe buck.

• 32:41Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 32:42Speaker 06

Yeah. So you need to be like 250. How big were the guys pulling those?

• 32:46Speaker 01

Well, they were, I mean, they were smaller. Obviously that was just, I mean, they weren't like, they were strong, right? That's the thing. It's like, think of anyone with a specific muscle grouping for a specific thing, like arm wrestlers or things like that where they get like, you know, they have very specific muscles for very specific movements. It doesn't mean that you're strong overall. It means you're strong in a specific, specific movement that you do. And so with those archers, it was really just being able to be strong in that movement. They were extremely strong, but it wouldn't translate to like raw strength. Like I don't think they would out bench press people, right? It's just that one particular movement.

• 33:22Speaker 06

That is why, and how hard is it hitting a lot of those objects armor or what's it?

I mean, it's very hard. The only problem is that wood is not a great, wood does not transfer energy well, because when the wood arrow hits, it tends to diffuse it if it's not going through it. And it loses momentum fast. So if I go against like, let's say different armor types, so like mild steel is what's used a lot of times nowadays with like um, different types of replication. So mild steel is like low carbon content. And so it's not going to do a great job stopping it. But if you have like a hardened steel, even if it's like, you know, C60 hardened steel and you have like point five or one millimeter to 1.5 millimeters. At 1.5, it's not getting through. But at one millimeter, I can punch into it a little bit, but it's not going to go through male and padded gamison. It's just going to punch into it. It's not going to hit the whole thing.

• 34:14Speaker 06

This is wild to me. Is this what got you into your autism was like, oh, I'll reach out to this guy?

• 34:19Speaker 05

Bernard Cornwell, his work on the archery series got me into it. Then I found Dash and I was like, this, this dude's pulling 160. What the, like, I was, it was insane because once you start, you're like, okay, I guess I'll get a heavy bow. Then you realize where you're actually at.

• 34:38Speaker 05

I've been, I've been technically lifting weights since I'm 13. I was like, I could hop in on this. No problem. Humble.

• 34:45Speaker 01

Even compound, I was like 60 pounds. I mean, like Brad, you got humbled by like, it's just like.

• 34:50Speaker 04

It's harder than you think. Like, it doesn't sound like a lot of weight, but when it's an awkward movement that you're not used to doing.

• 34:55Speaker 01

  Right.

• 34:56Speaker 04

Which I was, I was actually going to ask as a follow up to that, what kind of exercises in the gym do you do specifically for archery that would help with that muscle group?

• 35:05Speaker 01

Um, so the best thing realistically is you got to understand too, the style is very different than Olympic style archery. Olympic style archery is usually like, you see them and they come in like this and they activate the back, but it's not really doing much. The best thing is like a wide grip pull up because what you're actually doing is you're coming in and you're dropping down. And so it's basically pushing, pulling and dropping. And so that drop motion right there, that's the hardest part because that's when you get from like 24 inches, 26 to like 32. So that's when most of the weight stacks. And so wide grip pull ups is something that's really going to get you to be able to drop in that extra, that extra little movement right there. So that and weighted wide grip pull ups. But I also have like a little.

• 35:47Speaker 04

  Weighted wide grip pull ups.

• 35:49Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 35:50Speaker 04

  I'm not in that.

• 35:53Speaker 05

  It's called body weight.

• 35:54Speaker 01

Yeah. So those are actually going to be the most useful for that type of archery. But if you're just like doing standard, you know, archery with modern is 40, 45 pounds is going to be right in here, just like this. It's not going to take the whole body into account.

• 36:09Speaker 06

And that's, you were like, I'll start off at 80, 60. What were you starting off at?

• 36:13Speaker 05

Um, my first bow, I, I tried to buy a hundred pounds, but I think it ended up being closer to like 70 or 80. Once I got my 109 pounder, because then I got my 135 pounder. I don't get a full draw on it. So it's probably like 120. Um, but that one, it's like, if I don't train on it, like, I can't just hop back in on the heaviest weight. Like I have to essentially restack my way up.

• 36:36Speaker 04

What were you cracking up at?

• 36:38The Fat Electrician?

  Huh?

• 36:38Speaker 04

What were you cracking up at a second ago?

• 36:40The Fat Electrician?

  My mom just texted me.

• 36:43The Fat Electrician?

We've all met my dad, yeah?

• 36:45Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 36:45Speaker 06

  See?

• 36:46The Fat Electrician?

I'm just gonna read this text message.

• 36:50The Fat Electrician?

"Your dad took Nana and I to Plaza Mexico, the local Mexican restaurant."

• 36:55Speaker 04

Do you wanna bleep that, just in case that's a local place that?

• 36:59The Fat Electrician?

Shit, there's like five of them. So, "The cook was whistling non-stop. "Your dad asked the waiter if he could start whistling in English."

• 37:16Speaker 01

  Your dad has a Mexican.

• 37:19Speaker 04

  That reminds me of like-

• 37:22The Fat Electrician?

  Daughter-in-law. Your kids are Mexican.

• 37:27Speaker 04

Like the bad subtitles on a, like a, a fucking Netflix thing, Whistles in Spanish?

• 37:36The Fat Electrician?

I checked my phone, that took me.

• 37:40Speaker 06

Dash was like, "Oh, my real estate career is gone."

• 37:45Speaker 04

What does that, uh, what does that server say? They're just like, "Oh yes, certainly sir," and walk away. Wait, what?

• 37:51The Fat Electrician?

My dad's been going there three times a week for fifteen years. They know he's joking. It's still just fucking funny.

• 37:59The Fat Electrician?

Can you tell him to whistle in English, please?

• 38:03Speaker 06

Brandon, what's, uh, I actually meant to ask yesterday, what's the next video you're working on? Do you have any, like, gun builds coming up?

• 38:09Speaker 04

Oh, I, did I talk about any of the stuff I got from Rock Island?

• 38:13The Fat Electrician?

  No.

• 38:14Speaker 06

  Oh, I don't think so.

• 38:15Speaker 04

I kinda had a weekend that was, you know, during one of my-

• 38:19The Fat Electrician?

  That sounds expensive.

• 38:20Speaker 04

Yeah, yeah, I, I was a little fast and loose. I bought a, uh, M79 thumper, like the little forty-

• 38:28The Fat Electrician?

  A real one?

• 38:29Speaker 04

  A real one.

• 38:30The Fat Electrician?

  Oh.

• 38:30Speaker 06

It's a forty mic grenade launcher.

• 38:32Speaker 01

Okay, yeah, you, I need subtitles.

• 38:34Speaker 04

  Subtitles.

• 38:36Speaker 01

  It's not a stick, I don't get it. It's a stick and a string. As far as I go.

• 38:41Speaker 04

I mean, it's kind of a stick, it just has a bigger tube.

• 38:45Speaker 04

But yeah, like Vietnam era 40 millimeter like single shot grenade launcher. But I got one of those. I picked up the Beretta AR-70 for doing some Metal Gear shit. Cause fucking Eli got me an MGS5 and that's a gun I don't own and I can't have that. So that was could not tolerate it. Picked up one of those. So I'm gonna be doing, probably you and I are probably gonna work together on a Metal Gear Solid video.

• 39:10Speaker 06

You have to incorporate the box.

• 39:11Speaker 01

  That's exciting.

• 39:12Speaker 04

  Oh, that's a good idea.

• 39:13Speaker 06

You have to incorporate the box.

• 39:14Speaker 04

Cause we've got some exotic shit that, I mean, like the Barrett, uh, Beretta, or excuse me, the Barrett M82A2. There's like 12 of those in the world.

• 39:23Speaker 06

  And you have one.

• 39:24The Fat Electrician?

  Is that the shoulder one?

• 39:25Speaker 04

Yeah, I think I have the one that's, I'm not sure about this part, but I think I have the one that's ever gone. Uh, the only one that's ever gone to commercial sale, like for civilians.

• 39:33The Fat Electrician?

Cause one's in a prop house and the rest are still, nobody knows.

• 39:36Speaker 04

I'm sure the military kept, uh, some of them, uh, Barrett, I think kept one or two. Uh, one of them ended up in like fucking Norway somehow, like their military, but.

• 39:45Speaker 06

And MGS5, no idea, or MGS4, Hideo picked that. No idea how he picked that weapon platform for that game. Everyone's like.

• 39:51Speaker 04

  No clue.

• 39:52Speaker 06

Highly specific. Cause we have that, we're looking for a PSG1. I have the Stinger missile launcher.

• 39:59The Fat Electrician?

  50 cal sniper rifle.

• 40:00Speaker 06

  Tube of it, uh.

• 40:01Speaker 04

  I know.

• 40:01Speaker 06

Deco- conditioned Stinger missile launcher and then.

• 40:04The Fat Electrician?

So a unique version. Sits on your shoulder like an RPG, like a bazooka and you shoot it that way instead of being a sniper rifle.

• 40:10Speaker 04

  The military.

• 40:11Speaker 01

It sits like it wraps on your shoulder.

• 40:13The Fat Electrician?

Like the magazine sits right here and there's a buttstock that rests on your shoulder and you hold it and it like sits on your shoulder like a bazooka.

• 40:19Speaker 01

  Dude.

• 40:20The Fat Electrician?

  But it's a 50 cal.

• 40:21Speaker 04

Uh, yeah, Jamie, pull that shit up. Uh, it's actually pretty smart if you think about it. Like for carrying around a Barrett 50 cal.

• 40:27The Fat Electrician?

  Way cooler to shoot.

• 40:28Speaker 04

  Yeah, that right there.

• 40:30Speaker 01

Oh my lord. Yeah, that's insane.

• 40:33Speaker 06

Also terrifying where the action happens though.

• 40:35Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 40:35The Fat Electrician?

  That's fine.

• 40:37Speaker 04

The explosion's happening. That's where I'm afraid of.

• 40:41The Fat Electrician?

Believe me, either it's gonna work out or you're not gonna care.

• 40:44Speaker 04

Yeah. Yeah, pretty much. The, um, uh, cause that was the one that, uh, Chris Barrett, I, I posted something where I, I showed that I, I had one of those. Or when I had just picked it up and he's like, I don't ever use this fucking word, but that's actually a unicorn. He's like, how genuinely, how the fuck did you get that?

• 41:09Speaker 01

  It's a rare fucking weapon.

• 41:10Speaker 04

Yeah. So we, we just got a bunch of stuff from Metal Gear and you know, the Metal Gear fans are fucking rabid. I had no idea.

• 41:16Speaker 01

Yeah, it's the real thing. Yeah. It's a whole subculture that's very passionate about it.

• 41:22Speaker 06

I joined the military because I know it's not the message of that game.

• 41:28Speaker 06

The opposite of that, but I joined because of it.

• 41:33Speaker 06

I'm so fucking stoked. And then you got the volcanic?

• 41:35Speaker 04

Oh yeah, the volcanic pistol. Picked up one of those. So we're going to try our hand at recreating some of the ammunition for it because it's the rocket ball.

• 41:42Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 41:43Speaker 04

Doesn't exist, unobtainium. I saw Rock Island actually sold a couple of years ago. They sold, uh, like 80 rounds of volcanic ammo. Like this, it was still like new in box from the 18, like 1855. It's like 20 fucking grand. For a box of ammo.

• 42:00Speaker 06

  Oh my God.

• 42:00Speaker 04

Most of which probably doesn't work.

• 42:03Speaker 06

It's weird ammo because that's the first, that's the original gyrojet kind of.

• 42:08Speaker 04

Uh, it's, that's kind of a misnomer, but they called it rocket ball. Like it kind of is like that. It really was a very unique take. Um, actually from the company that later became, uh, Smith and Wesson. It was some, some, uh, guy, his last name was Smith and he had Dan Wesson. And, uh, they worked together on the, uh, the volcanic project and getting that made. Uh, but basically it was a predecessor to, uh, self-contained cartridges. So basically they took like, if you can imagine like a mini ball, like, uh, one of those, uh, projectiles from like the civil war, like black powder. They had one of those, but it was hollowed out in the back where they stored the powder in the bullet and put a primer on the back. So it's kind of like a, a self-contained cartridge with no, uh, no brass.

• 42:50Speaker 06

  Was there still rifling?

• 42:52Speaker 04

  Yeah, I believe so.

• 42:53Speaker 06

  No shit.

• 42:54Speaker 00

• 43:24Speaker 04

I said that very confidently. I'm not sure, but I think so.

• 43:28Speaker 06

  Maybe so. I don't know.

• 43:30Speaker 04

The only problem is they were notoriously underpowered, like to the fact that there was a, there's a story. I don't know if it's true, but a guy tried to fucking kill himself with one of them and failed. Uh, cause it's like a 100 grain projectile, I think, which is not to sneeze at, but I think it was going like 260 feet per second.

• 43:50Speaker 06

  A paintball?

• 43:51Speaker 05

Play airsoft with that thing, dude.

• 43:52Speaker 04

Yeah, straight up. That's, that's good.

• 43:55Speaker 05

That's shitty airsoft speed. Call your hits.

• 44:02The Fat Electrician?

When me and Ethan went out to that Renaissance festival, I didn't realize how like, I guess they had, they would adjust cannon fire. Like I just always assumed that they would like, you know, lift the cannon up and drop the cannon down. And the dudes that were running, they're like, no, there's a mathematician on the back that was loading the next round. And he would actually on the fly, like, we need this one to go further. And he would pack more black powder into the charge.

• 44:27Speaker 04

And they would literally, uh, cut fuses.

• 44:30The Fat Electrician?

Yeah. Yeah. It's like, this dude is just on the fly determining like for when the ball is going to explode on an explosive round. And how much powder to put in for how far they want it to go, just on the fly, some dude doing math equations.

• 44:44Speaker 06

  Multiple cannons?

• 44:45The Fat Electrician?

Back to back to back. Yeah. Like each, each cannon had a dude doing all the math and they're like, they would just set the cannons up and fire. And then like, they didn't move the cannons anymore. Instead they just repacked the ammunition.

• 44:56Speaker 04

  It's like, okay.

• 44:57The Fat Electrician?

So it's like the opposite of what a sniper does now, right? You use match grade ammunition. So that's the constant. And then you change the scope. They did the opposite.

• 45:05Speaker 06

So the cannon, the actual, the rifle was the constant.

• 45:08The Fat Electrician?

Yeah. The rifle was a constant. And then they just repacked the ammunition on the fly.

• 45:11Speaker 06

  That's fucking wild.

• 45:13Speaker 04

And they'd have like a chart there in the, uh, the little carriage where they're like, okay, well, if we need to fire at, you know, this many yards, we'll have five seconds of flight time, which means we need to cut a quarter inch off the tip of the fuse. So that it explodes over the enemy. Like they were doing a bunch of calculus.

• 45:28The Fat Electrician?

  It was wild shit.

• 45:29Speaker 06

How fast were they at it too?

• 45:31The Fat Electrician?

Uh, I forget what he said in the video, but it was like alarmingly fast. Like they were firing that cannon like every like 12 seconds.

• 45:39Speaker 04

Yeah, it was multiple rounds per minute at least.

• 45:41The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah.

• 45:42Speaker 06

That's terrifying warfare too, because that is, your buddy's there, your buddy's no longer there, or his legs are no longer there.

• 45:47Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah.

• 45:48The Fat Electrician?

That ball is just... It's also nice when the enemy formation's also constant.

• 45:52Speaker 05

Stand there! Take it like fucking man! Line!

• 46:01Speaker 04

Touche? You don't need to be that accurate, it's, uh, you're firing at minute of crowd.

• 46:09Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 46:10Speaker 06

  Phalanx formation! Hmm, not working.

• 46:14Speaker 05

Oh my god, they have horses, get into a square!

• 46:21Speaker 06

  Fuck that shit.

• 46:23Speaker 05

I actually just watched Waterloo from 1970. Movie goes hard, dude.

• 46:28Speaker 01

Dude, that was so many extras to actually make the squares, they had like, what, like thousands and thousands of people.

• 46:33Speaker 05

So they filmed this in Ukraine during the Soviet Union, and they pretty much use all Red Army extras to make this movie.

• 46:39Speaker 06

  I've never seen this movie.

• 46:40Speaker 04

  I haven't either.

• 46:41Speaker 05

So I think from my research, it flopped domestically here in the States, but now it's like, it's kinda still like a cult classic, because it's like, literally an epic of a movie. Like, they're not gonna make a movie like this again with no CGI. They had some dummies to play, like, really far shots, like in formation, but everyone you see in the shots are usually like real humans. Not usually, they are real humans.

• 47:01Speaker 04

Kinda like Lawrence of Arabia, that kinda scale.

• 47:03Speaker 05

  The epic, yeah, exactly.

• 47:04Speaker 04

  Drowning.

• 47:05Speaker 05

It is sick, dude, because you'll see the big cavalry charges and all the extras are forming square. And there's just, it's just movie, it's just beautiful movie, there's no like Hollywood message, there's nothing to it, it's just dudes killing each other.

• 47:19The Fat Electrician?

  No cultural dialogue, just...

• 47:21Speaker 05

Reenactment of what fucking happened. Yeah, really, you have Napoleon, he's like, "I'm gonna kill this guy," and you have, uh, Lord Blount, he's like, "I'm gonna stop Napoleon," and it's just epic, dude.

• 47:31Speaker 04

Epic retailing of, uh, retelling of the, the battle that inspired Ava.

• 47:36Speaker 06

  Is that what that is?

• 47:37The Fat Electrician?

  What?

• 47:38Speaker 04

Waterloo? It's a really, really deep cut, I'm sorry.

• 47:42Speaker 01

Oh my god, okay, I'm just happy I'm not doing it in this game.

• 47:46The Fat Electrician?

  Chase, put in crickets!

• 47:49Speaker 04

  I'll see myself.

• 47:51Speaker 05

It's a comedic wrestling! The formation was cut down by grave shot, my lord!

• 48:00Speaker 01

  Damn it.

• 48:01Speaker 06

  Damn it.

• 48:02Speaker 04

There's like 12 guys out there that thought that was funny.

• 48:04Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 48:07Speaker 01

  Three twelve.

• 48:08Speaker 04

  That was for you.

• 48:09The Fat Electrician?

So how does one get into, I don't, I guess, I don't know if it's competitive, but I mean, you're one of the best in the world at war bows. How, how, like, how do you get into that?

• 48:18Speaker 01

Oh, I mean, for me, it was just, I, I would always read about these historical classes and, you know, and cultures and things. And I'm in high school, I remember reading about, um, English archers and how they would do up to 150 pounds. And I'm like, what does that mean?

• 48:33The Fat Electrician?

Like, I didn't have. You got that in high school?

• 48:35Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 48:35The Fat Electrician?

  Damn.

• 48:36Speaker 01

I didn't have an idea of, as to what that, like, that I just read about it. And I'm like, what is that, what does it feel like? And so it kind of became a goal to like, I want to see if I can match what that did. It's the same with like the sling. I read about the Ballyerick slingers in like the islands of Mallorca, the Spaniards. And I was like, I wonder if I can master a sling. And so it really was just reading about historical, like a craft or a skill that people would master and trying to see if I could replicate that over time. And so it was just, it's just always been something that in, just drove me to like, I want to see if I can master what man did back in the day. Or at least get passable at it, you know?

• 49:15Speaker 06

Way cooler than mine. I learned a yo-yo in 30 days.

• 49:19Speaker 04

I'm still on Aaron's team where it's like, you learn that in school?

• 49:22Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 49:23Speaker 04

  No. Cooler history teacher.

• 49:24Speaker 01

  No, no.

• 49:25Speaker 04

  In the beginning.

• 49:25Speaker 01

No, I, I read about it on my own.

• 49:27The Fat Electrician?

  Okay.

• 49:27Speaker 01

I, I, cause I, I remember I read Lord of the Rings and I was like fascinated with Legolas, Legolas. And then I was like, well, what, like, I want to read more about archers. So I just started reading archers on my own and just started like reading about history and the English archers and everything. And you go back to the, the Welsh and like the archers of Gwent back that predates that. And they had different bows that weren't you, that were still really powerful. So it was just something that I was always like, I want to see if I can match what people did back in the day. If I can measure up to what they could get to.

• 49:57Speaker 01

And so that was always, yeah.

• 49:59Speaker 04

  Huh.

• 50:00The Fat Electrician?

That is. Well, I guess we're all lucky he didn't pick Genghis Khan.

• 50:05Speaker 01

I cannot ride a horse and I would be a horrible horse archer.

• 50:08The Fat Electrician?

I wasn't worried about the horse riding, but.

• 50:11The Fat Electrician?

Not with that hair and aesthetic, wasn't my concern.

• 50:14Speaker 04

  Master of husband drain.

• 50:18Speaker 04

  Sir come.

• 50:19Speaker 01

  That's so come.

• 50:21Speaker 05

  Full circle.

• 50:25Speaker 06

We know what his armor is gonna be.

• 50:28Speaker 05

  The white knight.

• 50:35Speaker 04

It's like, fuck. You got a little bit of redemption there.

• 50:43Speaker 05

Lord Brandon has studied the comedic lines.

• 50:48Speaker 05

  Holding steady.

• 50:50Speaker 04

They keep me around for some reason.

• 50:51Speaker 06

  Oh my gosh.

• 50:53Speaker 04

  I haven't been fired yet.

• 50:58Speaker 06

Nick, what do you work on next? I don't even know your next fucking video. I was like, this entire, we haven't had time to ask just those questions yet, which is surprising.

• 51:08Speaker 04

  That's true.

• 51:09The Fat Electrician?

Did I tell the 442nd bit? On podcast? I don't think I did. I think I told you off camera.

• 51:15Speaker 04

I don't recall. Which, which one was that?

• 51:16The Fat Electrician?

I did a video. It should be going up on Wednesday. This podcast will be after that. Yeah. Yeah, so I can tell it. Um, I'm doing a video on the 442nd Infantry Division, which was the, uh, American Japanese that volunteered to fight for America anyways, even though a lot of them were being put in internment camps, uh, unjustly. And I kind of follow why they put the Japanese in internment camps, like what the justification was, why it was messed up. Then I follow the unit all the way through combat. And then each stage of combat kind of has like one standout guy that did something incredible.

• 51:50The Fat Electrician?

Um, so I guess like the, the two coolest or slash funniest for me was the whole reason that FDR and the military as a whole, like decided, we're going to put every Japanese person in an internment camp was a Nihao incident. So during the second wave of the attack on Pearl Harbor, they got American planes up in the air and they were dogfighting with the Japanese heroes. One of the Japanese heroes got hit in the fuel tank and he had to make, he didn't have enough fuel to get back to the carrier. So he made the emergency landing on what he thought was an abandoned island called Nihao. And so he makes this emergency landing, but there's actually 200 Hawaiians that live there. And the Hawaiians don't know that Pearl Harbor happened yet because it's like 90 miles away. So they like trying to help this guy like treating him like just some dude that crashed a plane like,

• 52:34The Fat Electrician?

"Oh yeah, we'll help you blah blah blah." Well, then they find out, you know, within, you know, six, eight hours that they had attacked Pearl Harbor. So they throw him in jail. On Nihao, there was two Japanese people that lived there. And it was a man and a wife, and the husband decides that he's sympathetic to the cause and he's going to help him escape. So they spring this guy out of jail and get him a gun. And the Hawaiians obviously tried to stop him, but he's already got a gun now. It's Hawaii in 1941. You know, so this Samoan dude, not Samoan, Polynesian Hawaiian, he, uh, he goes to stop him. His name's Ben Kanahile. And he gets shot three times,

• 53:14The Fat Electrician?

charging at this Japanese Imperial pilot and makes it to the pilot, proceeds to pick him up and throw him into a stone wall and then slit his throat with a hunting knife and survive, which is the most Polynesian shit I've ever seen in my life.

Guys, when you leave your dogs at home, do you ever worry that they might find your firearm?

Damn, maybe the ATF is on to something. No, I never thought about that.

  Introducing StopBox.

• 53:41Speaker 05

StopBox, StopBox, StopBox. I'm sure a lot of you guys and gals have a handgun for self-defense, as we all do. And if you do, it probably fits into one of two categories. It's locked up, but not within reach. Or it's just laying around where anybody could have access to it.

• 53:54Speaker 04

Well, StopBox USA solved the problem and they came up with the StopBox Pro. It's all mechanical, so you don't have to worry about it. It's batteryless. Ribbed for your pleasure.

• 54:50The Fat Electrician?

So, and then that ended up being like the catalyst of like one of the main excuses for like, well, we can't trust American Japanese people. We have to put them in thermocasts because they're all gonna side with Japan, which obviously is fucking stupid and horrible. One of the worst things America's ever done, but that was the reasoning for it. And then-

• 55:06Speaker 04

  How progressive.

• 55:07The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah.

• 55:08Speaker 04

I'm still picturing Radnong, that little dude.

• 55:11The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah. Yeah, I mean-

• 55:13Speaker 04

I picture fucking Dwayne Johnson's character from Moana.

• 55:16The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah.

• 55:19The Fat Electrician?

So like, that was cool. And then, um, I kinda like low-key follow one character through the whole story. I like give you little updates on him. And then he comes out being like the main hero at the end. Um, at, right at the end of World War II, when the Allied forces break through the German Gothic line, which is like the last main line of defense in Italy. And then they, Germany ended up surrendering like two weeks later. Um, so they, they fight all the way through this, uh, North Africa, Italy. They're fighting the entire time. They take massive casualties. And, um, he actually, there's a guy named, um, oh my God, Daniel Inaway. He ends up getting promoted. At one point, he was, uh, he goes in to save the

• 56:01The Fat Electrician?

lost battalion in World War II. He gets shot in the chest. He carries two silver dollars for luck in his front breast pocket, caught the bullet, saved his life.

• 56:09Speaker 04

  Oh shit.

• 56:10The Fat Electrician?

So then he goes in on the Gothic line. They get pinned down by three MG42 nests. His whole platoon's pinned down and he's the, uh, lieutenant. So he gets up, rushes a MG42 nest with a grenade, throws a grenade into it, gets shot in the stomach, blows up the first MG42 nest, keeps running, throws a grenade into the second MG42 nest, blows that one up, goes in towards the third, and he goes to, pulls the pin on the grenade, winds back, and he gets within, he's somewhere between five and 10 yards from the nest, and the Germans fire a rocket propelled grenade at him. He was so close, the grenade didn't have time to arm, but just the sheer force of the grenade hits his arm and severs it,

• 56:53The Fat Electrician?

and it's like dangling by tissue. And his hand is holding a live grenade with no pin in it. And he can't control it anymore. So he collapses and his dudes like stand up to go run towards them and he turns back and he's yelling, no, stay back because he's worried his hand's gonna relax and let go of that grenade and kill everybody. So he laying down with missing an arm, takes his left hand, prize a live grenade out and then ends up throwing it left handed and single handed into this last German machine gun nest, blows it up, gets up with his Thompson, kills at least one German, some say, some accounts said as high as many as three. Cause so between one and three more Germans with a Thompson submachine gun, one

• 57:34The Fat Electrician?

handed, then he gets shot in the leg and falls down unconscious. And when he wakes up, his guys are looking down at him and his dudes, like all the accounts are, he said, and I quote, nobody called off the war as they're dragging him back to the rear. And he had so much morphine in the field that they couldn't give him any more morphine without basically stopping his heart, dropping his oxygen levels too low, it would kill him. And they didn't have anesthesia. So then he got his arm amputated in the field. And then he goes on to survive. And he wanted, he always wanted to be a surgeon, but he can't be a surgeon with one arm. So he got into politics. He was a Hawaiian territorial senator that was instrumental in Hawaii becoming a state. And then he served as Hawaii's state senator

• 58:19The Fat Electrician?

until 2012, when he passed away.

• 58:22Speaker 04

  What a fucking G.

• 58:23The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah.

• 58:24Speaker 06

  Cody had a fever today.

• 58:26The Fat Electrician?

• 58:34The Fat Electrician?

Cause like, why am I getting shit on? I'm not even here today.

• 58:37Speaker 04

  Again.

• 58:38The Fat Electrician?

  Holy shit.

• 58:39Speaker 04

  Throwing haymakers at hosts today.

• 58:43Speaker 05

The worst part about that whole story is I didn't have any food to eat while you told it. I usually have when I watch your videos.

• 58:53Speaker 04

You're either a food YouTuber or you're a, you're a shower YouTuber. I watch YouTube in the shower in the mornings when I'm getting ready.

• 59:00Speaker 05

  Oh, you're a shitter YouTuber.

• 59:02The Fat Electrician?

  Oh, really?

• 59:02Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 59:03Speaker 04

  That's actually a high up.

• 59:06Speaker 06

  Precious time.

• 59:07The Fat Electrician?

  Shower was up there.

• 59:08Speaker 04

Yeah, that was, I think Connor had mentioned that at some point where he said, you know, I just want you to know you're, you're a TV YouTuber.

• 59:14Speaker 05

  Dude, that's a high honor.

• 59:16Speaker 04

Wait to watch it on the big screen.

• 59:17Speaker 05

  Big screen.

• 59:18Speaker 06

Jesus dude, running at three in the third one, arm gets blown off and you're like, fuck it, I'll grab it with my other non-dominant arm. This throw is gonna look gay.

• 59:30Speaker 06

  And then it will land.

• 59:32Speaker 05

That's a fight with just one hand as opposed to two hands, he's like, ah.

• 59:37Speaker 06

  He threw his hand.

• 59:47Speaker 06

What was that? I don't know.

• 59:49Speaker 04

My lucky inertia fucks up and he tosses the hand grenade drops.

• 59:55Speaker 06

And then he grabbed a Tommy go with his left hand?

• 59:58The Fat Electrician?

Yeah, he picked his Thompson back up and killed at least one, maybe three more Germans.

• 1:00:02Speaker 04

  Geez.

• 1:00:02Speaker 05

Do you know what he was shot in the stomach with?

• 1:00:04The Fat Electrician?

I would assume an MG forty-two.

• 1:00:06Speaker 04

That'd be an eight millimeter Mauser.

• 1:00:08Speaker 05

Like I imagine getting hit in the stomach with an eight millimeter Mauser, like would just fold you over, but if he's still going, it's like, that's insane. Cause you hear about that, like you see that in like war shows, you hear about it and it's like, were they getting shot by MP forty's or like? Eight millimeter Mausers, you know, and they shrub off those wounds pretty much.

• 1:00:23Speaker 04

Cause that's a hefty fucking round.

• 1:00:24Speaker 05

  It's a big old round.

• 1:00:25Speaker 04

It's like a thirty odd six, but it's wider.

• 1:00:27Speaker 05

You know, if you think if you got shot in the MG forty-two, then he would have been like zipped up. So you think it was like a car ninety-eight if it was an eight millimeter Mauser, or if you think it was an MP four, well then he would have get zipped up too if it was an MP forty in theory. Unless one round caught it, you know, but.

• 1:00:39Speaker 04

I didn't get to ask him, but.

• 1:00:42Speaker 05

Did you get to ask him?

• 1:00:43The Fat Electrician?

  No, I did.

• 1:00:44Speaker 05

Did you do some deep research?

• 1:00:45The Fat Electrician?

Passed away in my senior year of high school.

• 1:00:48The Fat Electrician?

Getting shot was badass enough, I didn't really.

• 1:00:51Speaker 06

That was one of the Japanese dudes?

• 1:00:53The Fat Electrician?

Yeah, that was one of eighteen thousand, so out of the four hundred and forty second, so they, they kind of put them through in phases. They sent out a battalion as an experiment, the one hundredth infantry battalion. And then after those guys were like performing really well, cause I mean, they were dedicated as fuck, like they were trying to prove themselves to everybody. So then they sent, then they made an entire regiment and they sent the, the four forty second absorbed the one hundredth battalion. It became the third battalion in the four forty second regiment. And uh, it's the most decorated military unit in. US history for that size and that tenure. They had, uh, off the top of my head, I think it was twenty one medals of honor.

• 1:01:32Speaker 06

  Holy shit.

• 1:01:33The Fat Electrician?

  It was like.

• 1:01:34Speaker 06

Out of wait, twelve hundred people?

• 1:01:35The Fat Electrician?

  Eighteen thousand.

• 1:01:36Speaker 06

Eighteen thousand is still fucking wild.

• 1:01:38The Fat Electrician?

Thousand in the, in, yeah, in two, two years, twenty one medals of honor. They had, uh, somewhere between three and six hundred Purple Hearts. Like a ridiculous amount of bronze stars, a ridiculous amount of distinguished service crosses. And then there was nine, I think it was nine thousand four hundred and eighty six Purple Hearts.

• 1:01:59The Fat Electrician?

When they went in to save the lost battalion, the, the dude that was the division commander, the thirty sixth infantry out of Texas was, um, he'd never been in combat and they put him in charge of a whole division. And he was just being aggressive because he wanted to be the first guy to break into Germany. And he had a group of Texans push way farther out than they should have, and they got completely surrounded by an entire division. And they kept sending in battalions to try to break through the line to rescue these guys and nobody could. So they called up the four forty second because they had been beating ass at this point. They sent in the four forty second, trying to save two hundred and eleven Texans were surrounded. They sent in the four forty second. They fought for three days and broke through the line. And they ended up taking, uh,

• 1:02:43The Fat Electrician?

I think it was eight hundred plus casualties to save two hundred and eleven dudes. But they punched through and got them.

• 1:02:50Speaker 05

And, uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but I, if I remember this story correctly, I think didn't later on, they made all of them honorary Texans.

• 1:02:56The Fat Electrician?

They're all honorary Texans because of this.

• 1:02:59Speaker 05

Yeah, kinda neat. You think they were confused when they, a bunch of Japanese guys saved them?

• 1:03:04The Fat Electrician?

Bro, that's like the coolest part of the story is like, they know the first Japanese guy that like came because it was foggy and like from all the battle. They, I forget his name. Uh, he was a private first class, but he's a point man in I company or K company. I or K company. And like, there's an account of

• 1:03:21Speaker 06

Did they have an L company?

• 1:03:22The Fat Electrician?

The Texan, uh, that probably did. They had so many fucking dudes out there.

• 1:03:25Speaker 05

  God damn it, Eli.

• 1:03:28The Fat Electrician?

So like this, there's this account of like, you know, eighteen nineteen year old Texan kid, just like Manning his gun on his defensive perimeter. And fucking Japanese dude in American uniform comes walking through the smoke and they like have this moment where they like lock eyes. And like Texan kid like lip starts quivering as his eyes start tearing up like, oh shit, I'm saved. And this Japanese four forty second infantry dude just looks at him like, you want to smoke? Just offers him a cigarette. I was like, that's the coolest thing on the planet.

• 1:03:55Speaker 06

  No shit. That's awesome.

• 1:03:58The Fat Electrician?

  Damn.

• 1:03:58Speaker 06

So. Dude, those stories are wild.

• 1:04:01The Fat Electrician?

Dude, the shit some of those dudes did is insane.

• 1:04:04Speaker 06

It's so much respect to any of those soldiers. I look at like anything that happened in GWOT and you're like, that doesn't hold a candle. I mean, a lot of respect to everything that happened in GWOT, but that stuff is fucking wild because there is none of the modern tech. Radio suck. You're out there in the middle of nowhere. Armor's not really a thing.

And what's, what's crazy to me too is that like the, just that generation was just totally built different. Cause you, you do these crazy things for, you know, three, four fucking years. Kill more people than pancreatic cancer and then come home and spend forty years as a fucking postal worker.

• 1:05:08The Fat Electrician?

  The crazy part for me.

• 1:05:09Speaker 04

  Never mention it.

• 1:05:10The Fat Electrician?

The crazy part for me is like, we all grew up watching Saving Private Ryan. Like we understood what they were doing. Like if me and you went to do that, I'm not saying we'd do it better because we wouldn't, but we would at least have an idea of what we were getting involved with.

• 1:05:25Speaker 04

  Right.

• 1:05:25The Fat Electrician?

Imagine the perspective of you've never seen Saving Private Ryan. I'm sorry, you want how many motherfuckers to jump out of how many planes at the same time?

• 1:05:32Speaker 06

You only know like a hundred people. Think you're in a small town like Max and that is all the people you've ever met, known. You maybe shot a twenty two to hunt. That is your life.

• 1:05:42The Fat Electrician?

Yeah. Welcome to team deathmatch with eight hundred thousand people.

• 1:05:44Speaker 04

This is more people than you've ever seen. In one place.

• 1:05:48The Fat Electrician?

Half of them are trying to kill you.

• 1:05:50Speaker 06

And then you're dropped, the airborne's the one that I can't wrap my head around like Normandy and that shit's wild, but then airborne units getting lost behind somewhere in Germany, France, wherever and you're like.

• 1:06:03Speaker 04

Well, what's crazy to me too.

• 1:06:04Speaker 06

  Shooting asthma.

• 1:06:05Speaker 04

Yeah. Is a little bit of, you know, perspective. This is 40 years, you're, you're dropping in Normandy out of a fucking plane, static line, jumping into enemy territory, under gunfire. Forty fucking years after the Wright brothers did the first flight.

• 1:06:21Speaker 06

When was a parachute created, the first parachute?

• 1:06:23The Fat Electrician?

  Leonardo da Vinci.

• 1:06:25Speaker 04

  I think it was.

• 1:06:31Speaker 06

  Was it?

• 1:06:31The Fat Electrician?

  Yes.

• 1:06:32Speaker 04

  Yeah, like I think like.

• 1:06:34Speaker 06

Oh, the Eiffel Tower guy did it because they tried and he died. Someone jumped off the Eiffel Tower. He's like, this is how you do a parachute and it did not work.

• 1:06:41Speaker 04

  Well, you can't.

• 1:06:44Speaker 04

  You can't.

• 1:06:46Speaker 04

  Sacrifices must be made.

• 1:06:48Speaker 06

The airborne union, you got 50 cents extra or a dollar 50, what was it?

• 1:06:52The Fat Electrician?

They got extra pay. I don't know how much it was at the time. I know they got jump pay though.

• 1:06:55Speaker 06

  It was like.

• 1:06:55The Fat Electrician?

That's why a lot of dudes volunteered for it.

• 1:06:57Speaker 06

But it was like $2.50. It was double the pay, but it was not that much when you look at it now. And then you're deploying, how low were those entries?

• 1:07:06Speaker 04

I, I want to say, so we looked this up at one point, uh, I'll, I'll verify. But I, I want to say that, uh, due to obviously extended circumstances, they had to do some of those jumps. It's like, I want to say the lowest was like 300 feet. Which is not safe.

• 1:07:21Speaker 01

  No.

• 1:07:24Speaker 04

  Oh God, open up.

• 1:07:30Speaker 04

  And then it's dragging.

• 1:07:32The Fat Electrician?

  The crazy part is like.

• 1:07:35Speaker 04

250 was the lowest recorded on D day.

• 1:07:41The Fat Electrician?

  I'm good.

• 1:07:42Speaker 06

How long, dude, your parachute takes at least a hundred feet.

• 1:07:46Speaker 04

  To start, yeah.

• 1:07:48The Fat Electrician?

You're literally looking at the ground like.

• 1:07:52Speaker 06

  Rounds are kicking up around.

• 1:07:55Speaker 04

No, I'm sorry. Uh, with due to some alt, uh, altimeter errors, some aircraft dropping troops at 175 feet.

• 1:08:07Speaker 06

That's the fucking building in San Antonio. You might as well fucking bungee jump with a knife.

• 1:08:13Speaker 04

Yeah. I mean, at that point, fuck the parachute.

• 1:08:16Speaker 06

Yeah. Imagine looking out and they're like, go, go, go.

• 1:08:25Speaker 06

You're touching the top of a tree.

• 1:08:29Speaker 06

  Fuck.

• 1:08:30Speaker 04

Yeah, the Tower of the Americas, what you're thinking of in San Antonio, is 750 feet.

• 1:08:37Speaker 06

  Bro.

• 1:08:38Speaker 04

You're dropping it, you know, a quarter of that.

• 1:08:40Speaker 06

  That's fucking wild.

• 1:08:42Speaker 04

  Yeah, fuck that.

• 1:08:43Speaker 06

That is where I so much respect to those dudes.

• 1:08:47Speaker 04

And then, and when you land, it's not over.

• 1:08:49Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 1:08:49Speaker 04

You've just, you've started the match.

• 1:08:51Speaker 06

Right, right. Oh, that's the worst part. Hell, the loading. Oh, well, I'm good. Well, that, I can't wait for that one. I'll watch the fuck out of that. Jesus. Pretty good. What are your guys'... Do you do any history at all?

• 1:09:05Speaker 01

Yeah, I mean, like, the history, a lot of stuff is like, uh, older history. Like, I do, like, the hoplite warfare, like, the hoplite heresy, where it's like the orthodox versus the heretical view, where as far as how they engage in the battle, right?

• 1:09:18Speaker 06

You're saying a lot of words that not many of us are going to know.

• 1:09:21Speaker 01

Finally, because the gun talk is making me insecure, so I'm trying to make like some... What are you guys talking about? I don't get it. Like, Captain America, I understood that reference.

• 1:09:36Speaker 01

So the idea was that, like, the orthodox view is that the phalanx, which is like the Spartan, like, when you think Greek warfare, you have large shields, and it literally is just a pushing match, right? So the idea is that they would go in, and you would push, push, push, and you would get some casualties that way. The heretical view is more that there would be a line, like, kind of like a deep, like, you'd have a small, like, 20-foot or 30-foot line where the lines, they would kind of set up, and then people would, like, do challenges in there, and then they would engage and push and kill and back off, because you're... You, you get so exhausted so quickly, right?

• 1:10:07Speaker 06

  What's a challenge?

• 1:10:08Speaker 01

So, like, people would literally, like, run out there, like, the bravest ones would literally just start killing each other. Like, think of it like playing dodgeball back in the day, right? You have some people that hang out in the back and some people that get up to the front to actually engage. So literally there was like individual skirmishes in the front where people are like, cause you hear all the stories, the heroical stories, the people fighting in single combat. It's literally because you had some dudes that were like the most brazen or brave would kind of come out and they would meet each other and they would just engage. And then the large bodies would move in and then they would disengage and you'd have some javelins thrown and you'd have a sling go through there. And then they would engage again. So it was like, it was like a tide of battle, right? It wasn't just a single push. It would tide in and out and you'd have to recover, move back.

• 1:10:49Speaker 01

And then the most aggressive ones would stay out and still engage or try to kill some stragglers or grab some prisoners. And then they would kind of come back to their lines.

• 1:10:58The Fat Electrician?

I've always wanted to like have a skit where I recreate the movie 300, but from the perspective of the guy at the very back of the phalanx. Just what the fuck is going on up there for an hour and a half and then they die?

• 1:11:11Speaker 04

  You're faking it.

• 1:11:11The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:11:14The Fat Electrician?

  Yeah.

• 1:11:19The Fat Electrician?

  You're lifting.

• 1:11:22Speaker 04

How's everybody doing up there? Ooh, I'm starting to be able to see the enemy so not well.

• 1:11:31Speaker 01

That's when the battle's over, you pour water on yourself, you're like.

• 1:11:36Speaker 05

I imagine just get bored. What is your profession? Oh, you're just like, oh, I gotta check my.

• 1:11:42Speaker 01

  But I can't imagine.

Can you imagine like the, like the, the psychological warfare, like that would be that you're literally like, if you guys ever played football or any sport, like you see a new team, you don't know who these dudes are. And you're like, all right, and you see him, I'm going to challenge that guy. I'm going to fight this guy. But it's like, that guy's going to murder me and I can see his eyeballs. Like, I can't imagine being shoulder to shoulder with someone that's literally trying to kill you in lines. Like that to me is just a different type of thinking altogether where it's just.

• 1:12:14The Fat Electrician?

I bet the shit talking was awesome.

• 1:12:16Speaker 01

I believe it. Like, literally this close to someone who's trying to murder you and what are you going to say to them?

• 1:12:21Speaker 04

Stabbing someone with a your mother joke is the same thing.

• 1:12:24Speaker 05

You bring up an interesting point where it's like, you play in sports, you don't know these guys, but it's like, I remember playing football and I would play the same guys. Cause like you, you go up throughout the years, you're playing the same guys every year. So imagine like these Greek city states warring, they like see the same guys over and over again.

• 1:12:38Speaker 01

I've been meaning to kill this guy.

• 1:12:41Speaker 05

We can host you, son of a bitch.

• 1:12:44Speaker 04

This is my second time trying to kill dipshiticles.

• 1:12:48Speaker 05

I'm gonna get you this time.

• 1:12:50Speaker 04

To your point, though, as far as like, you know, not knowing and whatnot, we have so much information.

• 1:12:57Speaker 04

Nowadays, like modern warfare, realistically, it's like, all right, I've seen your fucking parade on Instagram. Like, I know what you guys are, you're using this kind of tank, you're using this, whatever. Back in the day, you're just a peasant from god knows where and like, what the fuck is an elephant?

• 1:13:12Speaker 01

  It's like, yeah, literally, yeah.

• 1:13:14Speaker 04

Where did, where did they get that from?

• 1:13:16Speaker 05

  Across the Mediterranean, bitch.

• 1:13:18Speaker 01

Yeah, I remember reading something where it was like, they were doing like the physical requirements for like the, the levy soldiers. It's like, they had to like jump, like this, they would space out spears and they had to like jump over the spears. And like, good job, here you go, you're set, you're done.

• 1:13:30Speaker 04

  Wait, do what?

• 1:13:31Speaker 01

Like, they would have the spears just laid out like on the grounds, like hopscotch, almost. And it's like, they hopped through it and it's like, you can do it, good job, you're set to go, there's your military service.

• 1:13:40Speaker 06

What's the elementary school thing where you get tested when you're a little kid?

• 1:13:43Speaker 01

  Oh, the president still.

• 1:13:44Speaker 04

Yeah, to see if you get a spear or not?

• 1:13:47Speaker 01

No, I don't think it was that, I think it was, I don't think it was that strict. I think it was more like that.

• 1:13:51Speaker 04

  That's way too.

• 1:13:52Speaker 01

  Yeah. That's a high bar.

• 1:13:53Speaker 04

The president's standard mountain, she's cool.

• 1:13:56Speaker 01

  Underfed peasants here, we gotta.

• 1:13:58Speaker 06

They would jump over spears to see if you could throw them or not.

• 1:14:00Speaker 01

No, no, it was just like, no, it was literally just like, they would set up like a very little obstacle course in order for you to be qualified to like some sort of service, like the Lander, Lander Schnitt, I forget, that's the one, they had, they were like, they were really good mercenaries, but like, they had the guys used the Vihender, which are those massive swords with like the curves that were like pike breakers and they had the pikemen. So like the pikemen to be in it, like they had much less strict physical conditions, because really, you're just like, if you're a pikeman, you're not engaging much in there, you just got 20 foot spear and you're like, all right, stay back, you know?

• 1:14:32Speaker 06

Wait, is this, do we jump to medieval Europe or Renaissance Europe?

• 1:14:35Speaker 01

Yeah, I'm going all over the place, I'm sorry, yeah.

• 1:14:38Speaker 06

Are you talking about the Landscheck pikemen?

• 1:14:39Speaker 01

  Yeah, the Landscheck, yeah.

• 1:14:40Speaker 06

  God damn, I know shit.

• 1:14:41The Fat Electrician?

Everything before 1776 was a mistake.

• 1:14:44Speaker 01

  No, no, once gunpowder came.

• 1:14:46Speaker 05

  Damn you, sir.

• 1:14:49Speaker 01

  Gunpowder ruined everything.

• 1:14:56Speaker 01

So when would they use like

• 1:14:59Speaker 04

There's a lot of third world countries that agree with that.

• 1:15:08Speaker 01

  Play that laugh and rewind.

• 1:15:11Speaker 04

Man, life was rad before a gun.

• 1:15:15Speaker 04

  Shit blows.

• 1:15:17Speaker 05

Dang Chinaman had to make fireworks.

• 1:15:20The Fat Electrician?

Man, just working in like being working in trades and like just seeing new tools and new technologies come out to make the job easier and how much pushback and resistance and shit talking there was from that older generation of tradesmen that are like, you'd have older dudes that would like talk shit if you liked using an impact instead of a drill.

• 1:15:40Speaker 05

  What?

• 1:15:40The Fat Electrician?

It just like people do not like changing and they'll just shit talk anything new that's more efficient and they'll like make fun of you for it like, oh, you you got soft hands, you're using power tools, shit like that 24/7. I can't imagine the shit talking, oh, you're gonna use that magic black powder stuff that just goes boom, pansy ass. Why don't you stab a guy in the face like a man? Like, how much money I spent on this armor?

• 1:16:04The Fat Electrician?

  You're you're gay. I'm cooler than you.

• 1:16:08Speaker 04

Cause wasn't there like that kind of pushback? I I might be making this up entirely, but when they transitioned uh from bows to crossbows.

• 1:16:16Speaker 01

So there was like, I mean, you can talk on this too, but really it was not necessarily a big pushback.

• 1:16:22Speaker 04

  Oh shit, Edmonds here.

• 1:16:25Speaker 01

No, it was more there like there was there was an idea that like they they said the Pope made crossbows legal and things like that because it was too powerful and stuff like that. But really there wasn't a big gap between the performance of it. It was just the amount of training required. That was so minimal that you could arm people so quickly and have a similar result. Um, but overall it would be outpaced and outperformed by a good war bow or a long bow on almost all counts. Except for the fact that it was easier to mass produce, easier to train, like a bow. Yeah, there was an old saying, like you want a good long bow and train, start with the grandfather. So it's literally like a generational training to be able to be able to functionally use a weapon of war that can actually do damage downrange as opposed to a crossbow, which had very similar one to ones.

• 1:17:11Speaker 01

Uh, but it would just take a weekend, you know, you get someone to bow a crossbow. It's like, all right, let's do it.

• 1:17:16The Fat Electrician?

I didn't have to change your bone density on half your back. Are you good at it?

• 1:17:20Speaker 01

So it's like the problem. It's like war attrition.

• 1:17:24Speaker 04

  He walks in Oma. Next.

• 1:17:25Speaker 06

  Yes.

• 1:17:27Speaker 04

He can jump over the spears.

• 1:17:33Speaker 05

  Damn, this guy's good.

• 1:17:36Speaker 05

I've never seen some of hopscotch like that before.

• 1:17:40Speaker 06

  That's where hopscotch came from.

• 1:17:43Speaker 05

My god, what if it did?

• 1:17:45Speaker 06

  I know.

• 1:17:47Speaker 06

He did the one foot thing.

• 1:17:49Speaker 05

  Holy shit.

• 1:17:50Speaker 04

  It's Achilles reborn.

• 1:17:55Speaker 04

  Welcome back, Brad Pitt.

• 1:18:01Speaker 06

Dude, crossbows, even those, you're just drawing back with the giant metal lever.

• 1:18:05Speaker 01

I mean, there's a few different, he's got the goat's foot, which is, yeah.

• 1:18:08Speaker 05

  They got bicycle cranks.

• 1:18:10Speaker 01

Yeah, like the windlass, which is like, that's a 1,200 pound crossbow, which is like, you know, it's gonna be steel, but steel's horribly inefficient as like, I can, to generate momentum, 1,200 pound crossbow, steel's not gonna transfer as well as if you had like, a well-made composite bow. So if like you have the bows of the Eastern Empire, Ottoman bows, Turkish bows that are composite, that have like tendons and horse and things that take like a year to make. They have those, those can go, they've had shots up to like 700 meters. That's like the world record, I think, for an actual bow. It's a composite bow with a, with a recurve, and that's like the world record, but of course.

• 1:18:44Speaker 06

  700 meters?

• 1:18:45Speaker 01

Yeah, I know, legit, yeah. So like you can look it up, but they have, it's very, it's made for flight, it's more sport than warfare. Cause arrows are light, they're not gonna do damage on the way down, they're small.

• 1:18:55Speaker 06

I wouldn't wanna get hit by them.

• 1:18:58Speaker 04

  True.

• 1:19:00Speaker 01

  But it's more like.

• 1:19:01Speaker 04

  Don't even worry about it.

• 1:19:14Speaker 06

  700 meters fucking insane.

• 1:19:16Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:19:17Speaker 04

I don't think I wanna be hit by anything that has the ability to go 700 more meters.

• 1:19:25Speaker 06

To God. That is fucking wild. Did you get into any sword stuff?

• 1:19:30Speaker 01

No, I do a lot of that. Like, I'm not like trying to, I haven't done Hema or anything like that. That's like the sword style, everything. And so I do a lot more stuff with like, less training weapons. So I use a lot of warhammers, war picks, blunt type damage, because I feel like that's just like, a lot of archers would have like an axe or a warhammer or a maul or things like that. So it's not like this, it's just not as much finesse, but you just freaking nail some armor.

• 1:19:53The Fat Electrician?

I've got a sniper rifle and a shotgun.

• 1:19:55Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:20:04Speaker 04

  A scalpel and a machete.

• 1:20:07Speaker 04

If we're sponsoring anything, we gotta get this guy some fucking ballistic dummy heads, because I wanna see what a fucking battle, uh, a warhammer does to that. That would be so satisfying.

• 1:20:16Speaker 01

  I just did one recently.

• 1:20:17The Fat Electrician?

  High speed out here?

• 1:20:18Speaker 04

  So, dude.

• 1:20:19Speaker 01

I've been doing some of the, I do a lot of the, the bone, right? I'll buy like beef ribs or femurs and things like that to test it out, because it's just like, that's, the ballistic dummies are expensive. But even that, with just like the warhammers and things, I had one just recently where I had layered, I had, um, I had Brigandine armor, which is 1.5 millimeter chainmail, and I had a padded gamison, and then I had beef ribs behind it. And I just got a new war, war axe, basically a battle axe. And so it's Orleans battle axe. And so I took it with, it's got a really sharp pointed point on the back, and it went through everything and split the bone. It actually hit it right in the, the actual rib. It went through and in. So it was through like three layers of armor in through the actual bone, which is way thicker than human and like in the back. And I was like, that's.

• 1:21:03Speaker 04

  God damn.

• 1:21:03Speaker 01

  That's brutal.

• 1:21:04Speaker 04

I wish there was a way, I know that this would be logistically kinda difficult, but I wish there was a way to get, uh, with ballistic dummy labs.

• 1:21:12Speaker 01

  Uh huh.

• 1:21:12Speaker 04

And get them to do like a 50% larger head. So you could do the David and Goliath shot.

• 1:21:18Speaker 01

  Oh, I know. Yeah, yeah.

• 1:21:19Speaker 04

  That would be gnarly.

• 1:21:20Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:21:20Speaker 06

Alright guys, we've got the Nephilim bust here.

• 1:21:24Speaker 06

  Abomination from Fallen Angels.

• 1:21:26Speaker 04

  To quote my son.

• 1:21:29Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:21:29Speaker 04

  Giants.

• 1:21:31The Fat Electrician?

Have you seen the uh, it's almost, it looks like uh, it looks like competitive paintball, but it's archery with like super bladed arrows. Have you ever done that?

• 1:21:39Speaker 01

No, I've never done that. Yeah, no, I've never done that.

• 1:21:43The Fat Electrician?

It's, it's like, you know, like paintball with the inflatable like obstacles and stuff? It's one of those, but they have like little bows and arrows, but they're like, it's like a nerf, it's like a nerf ball on it. So you're playing nerf arrows.

• 1:21:55Speaker 01

Yeah, but they don't go, it's like going like probably like it's like.

• 1:21:59Speaker 05

I went to a pickup game with my warbell and then they kicked me out.

• 1:22:03Speaker 01

After I killed three people, they're like boo.

• 1:22:05The Fat Electrician?

I gotta go. I gotta go catch a plane back home. Uh, I'll see you guys later. It was nice to meet you.

• 1:22:09Speaker 01

Hey, great to meet you too, man.

• 1:22:11The Fat Electrician?

We're gonna go kiss him goodbye.

• 1:22:12Speaker 04

That titty's not gonna pop itself.

• 1:22:15The Fat Electrician?

  Bye.

• 1:22:17Speaker 05

  I want caffeine.

• 1:22:18Speaker 01

My slingers, my slingers, give me the Cretian archers.

• 1:22:21Speaker 04

  That sounds like a slur.

• 1:22:22Speaker 01

Yeah, you made that a slur.

• 1:22:26The Fat Electrician?

Everyone's like, yo, what's up slingers?

• 1:22:29Speaker 04

You gotta go the soft A.

• 1:22:32Speaker 01

  He's like, okay.

• 1:22:33Speaker 05

  Slingers, slingers work.

• 1:22:35Speaker 01

  Move into the neighborhood.

• 1:22:37Speaker 05

You can't culturally applaud, really. The slingers work.

• 1:22:42Speaker 01

You want some merch that'll do good? You're welcome.

• 1:22:48Speaker 01

  A slinger's t-shirt.

• 1:22:49Speaker 04

  Unironically.

• 1:22:50Speaker 01

  You're riding in a Nepal.

• 1:22:52Speaker 04

  What's up?

• 1:22:56The Fat Electrician?

  Drive 300 out the window.

• 1:23:02Speaker 04

  All my slingers hate Goliath.

• 1:23:08Speaker 05

That actually would go for you.

• 1:23:09Speaker 01

I'm here, I'm here now, I'm committed. I'm throwing my lot with you bastards.

• 1:23:17The Fat Electrician?

Well, Nick is gone and now we're gonna learn about this, cuz he had, you were on a movie set helping.

• 1:23:23Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:23:24The Fat Electrician?

  Dean David.

• 1:23:25Speaker 01

Yes, so um, back in May, I actually went to Greece for three weeks cuz Amazon had this series House of David. And so the stunt coordinator found me on Instagram and he reached out, he's like, hey, we're making a show and he couldn't talk to me about the time. Like, would you be interested in teaching someone how to use a sling? I was like, sure. And then time went by, um, and then I got an email like, cause there's so many like the, the short time I had with that little Hollywood thing. There's like assistance, assistance to assistance. Like I never knew who I was talking to. And they're like, hey, the producers in Hollywood, can you drive down and meet them? Um, to go over, you know, what, what you might be able to do. I'm like, sure. So I drive down to, I drive down to LA and I bring the slings with me.

• 1:24:06Speaker 01

And I meet with this producer and we walked down to Marina and I show them how it works. I got some rocks and just kind of toss them out there. And then we have lunch together. He's like, yeah, we'd love to have you out. Like, how long can you commit? And I was like, I got, I mean, two, two to three weeks max. Like that's as long as I want to be with my family. Like that's, you know, I'm, I'm not trying to chase a Hollywood dream. I'm not going to be an actor.

• 1:24:24Speaker 06

And it depends on how many zeros.

• 1:24:25Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:24:28Speaker 04

  Technically.

• 1:24:30Speaker 05

  Twenty dollars?

• 1:24:35Speaker 05

  Why?

• 1:24:36Speaker 04

  I've changed my mind.

• 1:24:37Speaker 05

  A thousand dinari?

• 1:24:40Speaker 04

The idea that you don't even need to be like, he, he, he didn't even need to include the TV show part. You're just, somebody hits you up, hey, would you like to teach someone how to use a sling? You're like, fuck yeah.

• 1:24:51Speaker 01

This is like, again, this is like a hobby, passion thing. I don't care about any of that. So I, they actually flew me out to Greece and I got to, they, they had this, they had the two different departments. One was the stunt studio and that's where they had like, all they see in the movies, the mats and the boxes, right? Where the people like, they, they, they kind of section out where the set's going to be when they actually get there with the boxes and they kind of do the choreography. So I met the stunt crew and they were super cool guys. And then I met the kid who's playing David Michael. Uh, he was a great kid, like young little kid. And so I worked with him for like two, three weeks. Um, just trained him how to use the sling, you know? So that was great. And then I met, um, that big Martin Ford who played Goliath. He's that really big English guy with tats all up on his neck. He's just some big like six, eight bodybuilder guy.

• 1:25:35Speaker 06

Is he in any other movies?

• 1:25:36Speaker 01

Uh, he's, he's been in like a lot of movies. He plays the villain in a lot of movies, I think. So I was working with him like spear throwing and everything like that. Cause Goliath had spears. So like how to, how to get that going. So I do that javelin and things like that as well. Here we have a couple of different lengths of sling. And so I have a longer one and a shorter one. And so they would carry the-

• 1:25:54Speaker 06

  Longer one's harder, I'm assuming.

• 1:25:55Speaker 01

The longer one would, would be able to toss a larger projectile further, right? Different ranges, just like anything, right? You have a longer, you have a longer sling, you have more centrifugal force. So you can actually move a projectile further. So that's gonna be like early mortar fire, so to speak. You can cast a longer rock, lead or clay further down the line. So that's gonna be longer range than medium range is a medium sling and then shorter range is for shorter range. And so they'd carry, they have a waist head and they'd have one in their hands. They carry three different lengths of sling. Um, of cord to basically do that. And there's even like an old adage, cause they were so good at the Ballyerk slingers. Like they were basically always mercenaryed out, like even if they got conquered, then the Romans were like, all right. Cause they were for Carthage first and then Roman beat Cartha and they're like, all right, you guys are with us now.

• 1:26:40Speaker 01

And they're like, all right, cool. So they just kind of hopped around as mercenary forces.

• 1:26:43Speaker 04

  What were they called again?

• 1:26:44Speaker 01

  The Ballyerk slingers.

• 1:26:45Speaker 04

That sounds like a dope sports team.

• 1:26:47Speaker 01

It does, obviously, yeah. What size were the projectiles? Like we're talking about baseball? So the Romans used lead and that was about three ounces of lead. So not super massive, but lead's very dense. So three ounces of lead's about that big. And so- I was like, show, show me with- Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:27:04Speaker 01

Measurement of pounds, of course, of course. Obviously, obviously, yeah, yeah, totally. But then you would have larger ones, which would be like eight, like when I, when I sling like eight ounce rocks or something, those are about that big. So that's gonna do-

• 1:27:17Speaker 04

That sounds like you're a drug dealer.

• 1:27:18Speaker 01

I know. Talking like QPs. Yeah.

• 1:27:23Speaker 05

  He's a real ass slinger.

• 1:27:26Speaker 01

Now you're committed to it. You gotta carry it forward.

• 1:27:33Speaker 06

  The bobby air slingers.

• 1:27:34Speaker 01

And so then I was even.

• 1:27:36Speaker 04

You get half an energy drink in this guy.

• 1:27:39Speaker 05

Oh, good heavens. We're just going off the reservation.

• 1:27:43Speaker 01

I was talking to Brandon too about um the uh the different, the Romans would actually drill holes in the lead shot. Cause it would whistle. And so I've done that with some fishing lead. You just saw the fishing weights, those are about three ounces. You drill a hole in it. And you can like half drill or all the way through and it makes this hiss noise like a as it goes through and they would use that to keep people in place. So if they had shields, it's not gonna go through wood, right? But it's gonna keep people pinned down because of that noise flying over. So they would be able to keep people in position as the slingers goes. So every Roman legionnaire would carry a sling and they would use those to keep people pinned down so they're flanking, the people wouldn't feel a flank out because they would just say that noise going over your head.

• 1:28:22Speaker 04

  Oh, fuck.

• 1:28:23Speaker 06

It's not different than it's like a paintball or anything flying by.

• 1:28:25Speaker 01

  Yeah, exactly.

• 1:28:26Speaker 06

You're like shit, I don't wanna move out because something's flying by.

• 1:28:29Speaker 01

  Exactly, yeah.

• 1:28:30Speaker 04

But the holes drilled specifically so it made more noise, just like totally just suppression.

• 1:28:34Speaker 01

Yes, yeah, exactly. Suppressing fire, early.

• 1:28:37Speaker 05

Jericho fucking whistles on the German plane, the Stukas.

• 1:28:41Speaker 06

When you get shot at, I mean, you know, distance because it's like whistle, it's not cracking. If it's cracking, it's very close. I mean, it's like need to take cover and concealment. Huge difference in how you react to it.

• 1:28:52Speaker 01

And even that, like, cause I've tested it, like, you get wooden shields against it. And it makes this god awful thud when it hits the wood. It's not going through wood. Um, but it's gonna be like this really just force reckoning boom, like thunder. When it hits and they even have the uh, there was even documents of like the the surgeons, the Roman surgeons, when they would face these people that use it, they would actually have a specific device to pull the lead out of your skin. Cause it was actually, it would actually go into the body because it was moving at such high velocity, 150 miles per hour is what they get it to. It would actually embed in the body. So they'd have a specific tool to remove it.

• 1:29:27Speaker 05

  It's called a knife.

• 1:29:33Speaker 04

  A spoon. Yeah, just scoop.

• 1:29:38Speaker 04

  A spork.

• 1:29:40Speaker 04

The tool to remove the lead weights was also good for eating soup. Well, how would, how would they actually do that? Like, what was the?

• 1:29:47Speaker 01

They'd have like, they'd be able to inside, so it'd come in and pull it out a little bit. So they didn't have, they don't actually have pictures of what it looked like. They just referenced that they had a specific tool to remove the lead from the body when it would actually punch into it.

• 1:29:59Speaker 06

It's like, uh, which was the king or prince that had the arrow?

• 1:30:02Speaker 01

Henry the fifth. Yeah, that would actually drill into the arrow and open up to pull it out. They'd have to go through like the actual shafts to get it in there.

• 1:30:10Speaker 06

And at that time, it was like, oh, this is extremely, uh, what would be the word? Like revolutionary.

• 1:30:16Speaker 04

  Cutting.

• 1:30:17Speaker 06

  To remove. Yeah, cutting edge.

• 1:30:18Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:30:19Speaker 06

This and then you look at it, you're like, oh, it sucks. They didn't even have numbing cream. And she's like, shh.

• 1:30:29Speaker 04

Have you ever had whiskey? Here's some sauce shit that some gypsy lady cut up for you.

• 1:30:35Speaker 06

  Smell it.

• 1:30:39Speaker 06

So they just scoop them out.

• 1:30:40Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:30:41Speaker 04

For those of us who don't know the backstory on that, you said Henry the fifth?

• 1:30:45Speaker 01

  The fifth, yeah.

• 1:30:45Speaker 04

Was shot in the fucking face with the arrow?

• 1:30:47Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah. It was hit in the face. They must, because they would like, and I, I have like, in, if we do this, if we go big, you know, it's like with the armored combat, you don't realize how much oxygen it deprivates from you, um, with to have a metal over your face because you get a CO2 buildup, right? So that's what all the holes were for. And so a lot of times during a charge or when they're giving orders, they lift up the, the faceplate. So you'd be able to breathe because the early Corinthian design, like the Spartan helmet and the, with the comment is it would actually sit up on the head. So you could have it up and it would rest on your head like a hat. And then they created the visor so you could pop it up. And then like those in front

• 1:31:25Speaker 01

would give orders of things, you'd pop it up. And then when you did a charge, drop it down and go down. But if you're issuing orders or yelling or trying to catch your breath, you'd have to pop that visor up to get your breath. Cause it really does limit the amount of oxygen you can intake when you have something covering the majority of your face.

• 1:31:41Speaker 06

Oh yeah. It's a gas mask. Everyone knows those.

• 1:31:43Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah. There you go. Yeah.

• 1:31:45Speaker 06

Gas mask running. You're like, yeah, we'll keep it. You just crack it slightly.

• 1:31:50Speaker 06

  This sucks dick.

• 1:31:52Speaker 04

The air is not poisoned because I'd be dead. Hopefully it's not neurotoxic.

• 1:31:59Speaker 04

How about just a little CS?

• 1:32:01Speaker 06

Snidgen. So you did that and then what movie trained that individual up? Uh, did you just do three weeks?

• 1:32:09Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah, I just did three weeks with him and the kid was was great. He took it very seriously. He'd go down to the beach and practice like he was committed to it, you know? And so he got really good in that short time. I was genuinely impressed. So I would, I would do it up like if you've ever boxed, like you, you know, you have combinations, one, two, four, six, right? Something like that. So it's like one, two. So I'd, I'd call out different sling styles. Basically have a big bag of tennis balls when we were in there and I'd call out like one and two and six, and he would have different styles he would run through. So as he got really good at it, we would run through those different styles.

• 1:32:42Speaker 04

What are the different, like not to go too in the weeds, but the different styles? Cause like I, I just assume it's all pretty similar.

• 1:32:48Speaker 01

Right, no, it's so there's quite a few different ones and a lot of it was kind of, you had to create like we had styles and then flashy styles like Hollywood, right? You think of like, you know, like the, the jumping throws and like the spinning throws. And so we had a couple flashy ones, which was like when you spin around and move it like that. If you talk about that Spaniard, the guy who does the, uh, who dinged that, um, who dinged that, uh, metal pot. Right, yeah, cause he does, he does that spin style. Like he, he flips around and does that style to get a lot more momentum, but it looks very cinematic.

• 1:33:18Speaker 06

  Great for the views.

• 1:33:20Speaker 01

Yes. So the standard one is just like a, you don't want to, you don't spin it too much. And you, if you bring it over your head, it's really just to rest. And then you explode out on that last one. So it's like, it's just to keep them, the energy keeps the rock in the sling and you explode and you sling it down there. And so there's a couple of different ones, a figure eight where you kind of come around, back it up and sling it that way. You can kind of come behind and then come flip it over the front and then go that way. And so there's like, there's, there's quite a few different kinds and you can have one where you rest it at the side. And then when you're ready, you explode out over the top of the head. So those are the ones we were working on. So like there's a quick shot, which is just one, it's just, you don't even, you don't even rotate it. You just snap it over the top and that's usually the most accurate because you don't

• 1:34:05Speaker 01

have to like, when you're spinning it, you really have to calculate in your head when the release point is to kind of figure out, okay, I'm letting go, I'm letting go of it here as opposed to just like a snap where it's a lot easier to kind of get it down the line. So those are good for closer range, but if you want more momentum, more inertia, you generally need to come over and then that last one, you're really going to open up and extend it out. So you have as much momentum as possible. So it's extending your arm like by double, right? So just think of a pitcher.

• 1:34:31Speaker 05

Yeah, I was just gonna say, yeah.

• 1:34:33Speaker 01

Their arm by two. So you have that extra momentum for a heavier projectile to go just, you know, 120, 130 miles.

• 1:34:39Speaker 05

Real quick, real quick. I feel like we're a group of kids that just got old and we're listening to the best kid in the group that can throw the rocks the hardest. Yeah.

• 1:34:49Speaker 05

It's that, it's that caveman instinct too. Like I just said right before we came, or I came on, I was like, dude, I bet, because you were saying people carried around a pouch full of the stones. Yes. And I was like, I bet the day before battle, just finding the perfect stones had to have ruled. You're like, oh, fucking kill stone.

• 1:35:05Speaker 01

You're showing those off to your friends, like you're like snagging a stone.

• 1:35:11Speaker 05

  Oh, check this one out.

• 1:35:13Speaker 06

Oh, dude, you see Brad Stone? Brad Stone's so fucking cool, came with a hole.

• 1:35:17Speaker 04

This looks like it would fuck up an ottoman.

• 1:35:21Speaker 05

Turns out rock fights when you're a kid is just blood memory from being a sling.

• 1:35:26Speaker 01

Do you have a bedside sling?

• 1:35:30Speaker 01

I have my concealed carry sling.

• 1:35:31Speaker 06

Yeah, dude, your bedside sling, someone breaks in, you're like, babe, watch.

• 1:35:35Speaker 05

  Babe?

• 1:35:39Speaker 05

  Shit.

• 1:35:40Speaker 01

My, my wife is entirely unamused by all of my nerdiness. She's like, you are such a nerd. I'm like, yes, you married me. You've made this bed.

• 1:35:50Speaker 05

Don't worry, it bounces out with your looks.

• 1:35:54Speaker 05

You can get away with it. I was thinking about this earlier. I'm like, he looks like the gay love child of me and John Lovell.

• 1:36:03Speaker 05

  Yeah, that's accurate. Yeah.

• 1:36:06Speaker 05

  Sorry, John.

• 1:36:09Speaker 01

  Collateral.

• 1:36:10Speaker 06

For sword combat, do you just go for like the, what is your favorite style? So you were talking about like the huge, was it Zowinders?

• 1:36:18Speaker 01

  It's Vihunder.

• 1:36:19Speaker 06

  Vihunder.

• 1:36:20Speaker 01

  Vihunder.

• 1:36:20Speaker 06

Those are massive, like you grab.

• 1:36:22Speaker 01

Like six foot, yeah. And they'd have like the ricotta, which is like an unsharpened part. So you could grab on the top part there as well. So you can have that leverage, but those are like.

• 1:36:30Speaker 06

  Momentum weapons too.

• 1:36:31Speaker 01

Yeah. And they're like pike busters. So you have those twenty, those were meant to break up the pikes. Cause you have those 20 foot pikes and those could chop through that wood to kind of close that distance. When you're basically trying to get in that warfare. Um, but for me, I, I mean, like I said, I'm not trained in swords. So I just like, and archers too, that a lot of times it would be like a maul or a warhammer or a pick. Cause that's going to do way better against plate because it has that blunt, that blunt damage. And so as armor got better in like the 15, 16th century, right? The, the swords would be much narrower to kind of punch through mail. And then you'd have the rondel dagger, which is what's going to do the finishing move because it would engage in a clinch. They'd go down and that's going to be the thing that's going to get those weak points, but you can't, you can't thrust through well made plate.

• 1:37:14Speaker 06

A lot of people that, and that's the thing, uh, we've talked about it. It's weapons went to like a scimitar or a, uh, what is it? The fencer, uh, saber.

• 1:37:24Speaker 01

  Saber.

• 1:37:24Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 1:37:25Speaker 05

You're not going to Google it, how to be. Advertise it for some gay French sword.

• 1:37:38Speaker 06

But I just know how they like armor got better. So they're just like, mm, brute force, parry this asshole.

• 1:37:46Speaker 01

Literally like concussive force is what's going to do it. So I think that's, you know, it's like, either you were extremely skilled, you know, fencer, or you were just like brute force damage. Or you get three dudes, you take a knight down and you hit the weak points. And that's how most of them went down, like in Agincourt, right? It's like, it wasn't the archers that did it. It would take them off of their horses. It would take the horses out of the equation to disrupt the charge. And then the knights lose like 50% of their efficiency if they're not mounted because they're much slower.

• 1:38:13Speaker 06

You lost me on that a little bit. How are they taking out the horses?

• 1:38:15Speaker 01

So basically the, the reason why the, the. Orbo was so efficient was the long distance and for a charge to work well or cavalry charge, it need to be shoulder, shoulder, elbow to elbow, knee to knee. It needs to be a close knit formation for a charge to have good impact damage. And so if you hit horses from a distance, it's gonna spook the horses. The horses may die or fall and it's gonna cause them to fall over. It's gonna cause, you know, escalation of the, the charge to be disrupted. And so when the knights lose the ability to be on their horse, then the archers and this like the, the forces have the advantage because they're gonna be able to swarm, right? Just think of anything. It's like three people versus one dude in armor. If they're in the melee and the craziness, they can pin them

• 1:38:56Speaker 01

down and then they're gonna have the daggers to basically go through the eyes, the neck, the underarms where the chainmail is to really be able to finish that person off. So it's like brutal, brutal, right? Like just think of going out with like four dudes on top. You're like, not the eye, not the eye.

• 1:39:16Speaker 06

  Four dudes.

• 1:39:19Speaker 06

Oh no, my chainmail's up and back there.

• 1:39:32Speaker 04

  Welcome to unsubscribe.

• 1:39:35Speaker 05

  Trying to buy combat.

• 1:39:39Speaker 01

I was mentally prepared, but I wasn't prepared.

• 1:39:43Speaker 04

Even just pragmatically, I was thinking it's a very funny mental image where let's say you got a knight full armor doing cavalry charge. How would you rather fight in full armor? Fresh and ready to go or having just been knocked off a horse and had to run 700 yards in full armor?

• 1:40:01Speaker 01

Yeah, that would be brutal. And I think that the thing that, that thing that would work would be that the French were really committed to the horse, the cavalry. But if you had, they would separate, you had hard targets and soft targets. So hard targets were armored knights and soft targets were the horses. Cause even they had the catch in the front. So the horses had that catch, which is usually sometimes they had mail or things, but they weren't completely armored. So you can hit the flanks. But if you had hard targets advancing, even with the bow, if they had their helmet down and they're moving. They would still be able to move forward relatively well because it's not going to go through armor, especially at an arc, right? You're gonna have to really hit those weak points, but it was a volume fire. So if you think of 5,000 archers and they could do 10 to 12 a minute, right? And they would do that. So you'd have possibly 10,000 arrows in the air at a time.

• 1:40:46Speaker 04

  Geez.

• 1:40:47Speaker 01

Because you think about the volley. So they, it's like an arrow flight at like 300 yards is probably like 10 seconds. So you could have two sets.

• 1:40:54Speaker 04

Oh shit. That's blinding out the sun.

• 1:40:56Speaker 01

Right. Literally, it's like 10,000 at a time and there would be another round behind it. So it really was.

• 1:41:01Speaker 04

You're firing the second arrow before the first one lands.

• 1:41:03Speaker 01

  Right, right. Exactly.

• 1:41:04Speaker 04

  Crazy.

• 1:41:05Speaker 01

Yeah. And they're, and it's not like, again, it's not a small arrow. It's like it's 1,500 grain, 1,600 grain, massive thing, half inch ass shaft that's just really coming down. So it really, only a fraction of them need to hit the part, hit the actual weak spot for it to actually be usable to disrupt or cause mental, you know, exhaustion as you're moving forward.

• 1:41:25Speaker 05

What is sheer are we talking about?

• 1:41:28Speaker 01

Hmm? So this was like 14th, 15th century. And then at the 16th century, the archers, you know, they got a little more armor and things. But then after that, then gunpowder came around and so that the armor started to change where plate became less usable. And also the, you've lost so many skilled archers that you weren't able to replenish those ranks. The same with the slinger, right? Because it's a skilled, it's like a skilled craft. And so as you lose those people, you can't replenish them. And that's the great thing about a crossbow. We talked about this when we did the crossbow video, how it's like crossbow dead men dies. It's like, here, take this.

• 1:42:02Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:42:02Speaker 01

Right? And they can do it. But if you have a heavy duty war bow, you pass the guy next to you. He's like, what am I going to do with this? Right? Yeah. You can't.

• 1:42:09Speaker 04

Put it on your. You're drawing the fucking bow, dude. Become the human ballista.

• 1:42:16Speaker 01

Connor's like, I got you, bro.

• 1:42:19Speaker 04

Guess I'm gonna die. Guess we're swinging it.

• 1:42:25Speaker 04

This is now my melee bow.

• 1:42:29Speaker 04

Damn you, son. May not have the skill to shoot an arrow, but I can hit you with a stick.

• 1:42:34Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:42:34Speaker 04

But isn't that where, kind of where like Pikeman essentially, I mean, obviously.

• 1:42:38Speaker 06

was to stop like cavalry, but it's way easier to just give a fucking medieval peasant a sharpened stick.

• 1:42:43Speaker 01

Oh yeah. I mean, spears were like the king, they, they, they are considered the king of weapons. They existed like the earliest, the earliest reference of a spear was like the clacton spear. I think, and that was like 400,000 BCE and that was just, uh, it was just.

• 1:42:56Speaker 06

  400,000?

• 1:42:57Speaker 01

  Yes. 400,000. Yeah.

• 1:42:59Speaker 06

And so when we, when we switched from monkeys to slightly smarter monkeys, we just got fired. Human covenant war.

• 1:43:05Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:43:05Speaker 06

  Okay.

• 1:43:07Speaker 01

But it was literally just the sharpened and they would harden it.

• 1:43:11Speaker 06

  My bad. Sorry, guys.

• 1:43:13Speaker 01

You get hardened the, the wood by, by heating it, right? Like it would, it would ash, so they would make it. And so it would be like a, a stronger stick, but they wouldn't have like stone or anything, but that was like, they have a record of that as being an actual offensive or hunting weapon at that time. And it basically went all the way up until like the 18th, 19th century, right? Spears were still common, like halberds were still things that were, were very much in use at that time. And it was, took a long time for it to, to phase out, even bayonets, like an extension of a spear, you know?

• 1:43:43Speaker 06

Cause the halberds, they just started spearing. It's like, oh, let's just add.

• 1:43:46Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 1:43:47Speaker 06

Hard point at the end. So you can swing it to get through armor or sharp points or hooks to bring out weapons. He's like, well then you've all heard the expression that every weapon is either a stick or a rock.

• 1:44:00Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:44:00Speaker 06

Over the course of all human history.

• 1:44:02Speaker 01

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:44:02Speaker 06

Guns just throw rocks faster than a sling can.

• 1:44:05Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:44:06Speaker 06

We just got that skill tree upgraded.

• 1:44:09Speaker 06

  New faster rocks.

• 1:44:12Speaker 06

If commercials back in the day, a hundred million dead.

• 1:44:18Speaker 01

Johnson and Johnson, a family company.

• 1:44:21Speaker 06

  Fuck you by Raytheon.

• 1:44:26Speaker 06

What? So what is your favorite? Is it during, uh, like David Goliath era? Your favorite style of combat or formations?

• 1:44:37Speaker 01

Yeah. I think, I think the coolest to me is that, is that time because, um, like I was telling you earlier, it's like, there was, there was a moment where the slings would outrange the bows at the time. Right? The slinger could throw three to 400 meters. And at that time.

• 1:44:49Speaker 06

Dude, you gotta make a shirt.

• 1:44:51Speaker 01

  Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

• 1:44:52Speaker 06

You gotta make a sling a shirt, bro.

• 1:44:55Speaker 06

  I, I'm struggling with con.

• 1:44:57Speaker 01

  Ben Googling make me go.

• 1:45:00Speaker 05

Gonna have to separate us. Y'all beat a bunch of punk ass slings.

• 1:45:06Speaker 05

Listen up to the real OG sling over here.

• 1:45:11Speaker 05

Quit ganking a man's sling, lizard.

• 1:45:15Speaker 05

  Just didn't see that.

• 1:45:17Speaker 06

Okay, go on, your favorite era.

• 1:45:20Speaker 04

Out ranging bows of the time.

• 1:45:21Speaker 01

Yeah, so and so it was like, um, the idea was that they there was a thought that even like there wasn't good. There wasn't good wood on the islands in order to make a bow, so they had to be proficient in the sling. And there's like old anecdotal stories that like even at a youth, at a young age, like the kids before they could eat their day would put a piece of bread up on a stick. And before they could eat the bread, they had to hit it with a stone, right? So it literally was something that was taught from youth to adulthood. And so even me training for a long time is like a pale representation of the power and the accuracy they had. And the Greeks would set it up on the beach. They'd have these rings set up at different varying distances and they have to make it and thread through that ring with the sling. And so it's really just so cool because it's just a rope and a rock, right?

• 1:46:06Speaker 01

Like the ingenuity of people where it's like, I'm going to take a string and a rock and I'm going to make it something that can murk you from 120 yards away. Right? So.

• 1:46:14Speaker 04

Which is insane because you like, in in my mind, you're coming from like the firearm space.

• 1:46:19Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:46:20Speaker 04

  There's no sights.

• 1:46:21Speaker 01

  Right.

• 1:46:21Speaker 04

You're just like, mm, fuck it. That seems right.

• 1:46:24Speaker 01

  Right, right, yeah.

• 1:46:25Speaker 04

  That's absurd.

• 1:46:25Speaker 01

And of all the things I've learned, like the amount of stones that I've thrown is is absurd. Like I'd have to tape up my fingers with athletic tape because you get blistered all over, right? And so just being able to get it to go in a slight direction of where I wanted to go took ages just to figure out. I want to go straight, not left, not right, just like I want to hit it 10 by 10 target. That's like 20 yards away took forever to figure out just on when to release it.

• 1:46:53Speaker 06

And you're you're saying, so people will do 120 yards and they could do that?

• 1:46:58Speaker 01

Right, accurately, right. That's, I mean, again.

• 1:47:00Speaker 06

If we shot like a nine millimeter pistol, you could, most people aren't hitting 120 yards.

• 1:47:06Speaker 04

  No, god, no.

• 1:47:07Speaker 01

Yeah. And again, it's when you get into the weeds of the history, it's like you hear a lot of things and it's like, okay, maybe they did that. But really, most anyone can hit an army from 120 to 200 yards away, right? That's the thing.

• 1:47:19Speaker 04

When they're shoulder to shoulder, again, minute of crowd.

• 1:47:22Speaker 01

  That way.

• 1:47:24Speaker 01

Yeah, and even the warbows, like even in medieval Europe, they had hunting bows and warbows. Warbow is like a modern term, but it's anything over eighty pounds. And so they wouldn't hunt with something like that because to be able to aim well with something that's a hundred and sixty pounds, like your body is under such duress that you can hit a target with it, but anyone can hit an army at that distance as opposed to like a pinpoint accurate shot. You need time to be able to really settle in and aim. But your body's basically wanting to let go the moment you get it back. So it's much harder to aim those at like a pinpoint spot. When it's that heavy of a draw weight as opposed to just lobbing it down range to just disrupt an army.

• 1:48:02Speaker 06

I'm glad you brought that up. I was actually about to ask, do you do any sort of bow hunting?

• 1:48:06Speaker 01

No, I've never actually bow hunted. No, yeah, the first and

• 1:48:09Speaker 06

  Too easy?

• 1:48:10Speaker 01

  No, no, no, no, no.

• 1:48:12Speaker 05

No, I mean, no offense by this, but you look like the kind of guy who would walk out into the forest and hand feed baby deer.

• 1:48:20Speaker 01

  I would, yes.

• 1:48:22Speaker 06

  What he said.

• 1:48:24Speaker 05

No offense by this, you look like the guy that would order edamame for the table.

• 1:48:30Speaker 01

I got this, I got this. Edamame. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah.

• 1:48:36Speaker 06

  What a oddly specific egg.

• 1:48:39Speaker 05

  The ladies love it?

• 1:48:41Speaker 01

  With some soy bacon.

• 1:48:44Speaker 05

I didn't mean it like that. You seem like a kind, gentle human being. You look like a Disney princess. Everybody's fucking sucking you off and then I say something nice. Yeah, why are you so gay? Why you need so nice to the super hot chat?

• 1:49:01Speaker 05

Tune in for the Pepperbox exclusive gangbang.

• 1:49:07Speaker 01

  The Disney princess.

• 1:49:08Speaker 06

  Oh, man.

• 1:49:10Speaker 05

The birds are following me around.

• 1:49:15Speaker 06

Have you, you need to go hunt with, like deer hunt with a sling.

• 1:49:18Speaker 01

Yeah, I mean, that would be

• 1:49:19Speaker 06

That's a good piece of content. That is a lot of

• 1:49:22Speaker 01

  That would be

• 1:49:22Speaker 06

And I know the deer suffers.

• 1:49:23Speaker 05

  I was

• 1:49:24Speaker 04

  I think that's a very good idea.

• 1:49:26Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:49:27Speaker 04

I mean, smack a fucking deer at mouth.

• 1:49:32Speaker 05

  Everyone's laughing.

• 1:49:34Speaker 01

And it's flailing for life as like all the bones just break. I did a ballistic dummy with the sling once and I hit it like on the orbital bone. And I, you know, ballistic dummies, I feel like are

• 1:49:51Speaker 01

You walk in with your giant rock.

• 1:49:59Speaker 06

  Pikeman.

• 1:50:01Speaker 01

It was like, dude, that Outdoor Boys just popped up today. It's like my final video I'll never forget of Outdoor Boys.

• 1:50:07Speaker 06

  The fish?

• 1:50:08Speaker 01

Yeah, he's like, "Did you find a rock, kid?" He's like, "No, Dad." It's cuts to him just punching the fish four times.

• 1:50:18Speaker 05

Don't take this the wrong way. You should have the type of slinger that would cave in a deer skull. Oh shit, Edmund's here.

• 1:50:28Speaker 06

So you orbital crushed a mannequin's head?

• 1:50:31Speaker 01

Yeah, but so the ballistic dummy, it it broke like, you know, all the bones, but the crazy thing was all the way to the back of the skull, it just shattered everything. Just like it was is like paste, right? And so I couldn't imagine like pre, you know, surgery, whatever. If bones splinter like that, it's like if you don't die, it's not an instant death, right? That is like a long, horrible, mushy skull for like a couple of days where you're just floundering. And so it's it's brutal.

• 1:51:01Speaker 04

There is actually an old medical procedure they used to do for stuff like that. It was called prayer.

• 1:51:05Speaker 01

  Yeah, I know.

• 1:51:08Speaker 01

We'll get the priest in here. Um, but no, it's it would be, yeah.

• 1:51:13Speaker 06

  Sage.

• 1:51:14Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:51:15Speaker 06

  Priest here with brain mush.

• 1:51:20Speaker 06

Oh shit. Todd is a hero.

• 1:51:24Speaker 06

  Say something, Todd.

• 1:51:28Speaker 05

Jesus. Todd, can I have your farm field? That's legally binding.

• 1:51:37Speaker 05

  He has all heard it.

• 1:51:43Speaker 01

  Connor, open hand, open hand.

• 1:51:47Speaker 04

  Unplugging medieval life supporters.

• 1:51:53Speaker 04

Like Eli's gonna do with this deer.

• 1:51:56Speaker 06

  Some witch is gonna.

• 1:52:01Speaker 04

  It's like a choir.

• 1:52:06Speaker 04

Sorry, man. Invented washing hands yet?

• 1:52:17Speaker 01

  Oh my gosh.

• 1:52:19Speaker 04

Yes, I'm a surgeon. I make a hundred and sixty thousand dollars a year. Yeah, my, I brought my one tool.
