• 1:06Speaker 02

You have got to be out of your gourd if you think that I am recording a podcast with someone who's 5'4'11" right now.

• 1:17Brooke Averick?

  That's mean.

• 1:18Speaker 02

I almost did 5 under and I don't even know what.

• 1:21Brooke Averick?

Because that's what it says on my Hinge profile.

• 1:24Speaker 02

  5 and under?

• 1:25Brooke Averick?

  No, 5 foot. Flat.

• 1:27Speaker 02

  Um, hmm.

• 1:30Brooke Averick?

Because it's like no one's going to see me without shoes.

• 1:33Speaker 02

Do you, I feel like being petite these days is a bit of a superpower, no?

• 1:38Brooke Averick?

No, I, I, like, yes. But 4'11" is like, people don't know what that is. You know, like people will read 4'11" and think like, oh, 4'1". Or like, you're like, literally like 4'6". Like, they think it's a lot shorter than it is and I don't think I appear that way. So I think I'm actually being more straightforward about my appearance when I say 5.

• 2:05Speaker 02

  I know what you mean.

• 2:07Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 2:08Speaker 02

Because I would have like a tough time with like a point of reference for 4'11". I'd be like, what, yeah, what can I compare that to?

• 2:16Brooke Averick?

  Right, exactly.

• 2:18Speaker 02

  A summer's day.

• 2:19Brooke Averick?

Yes, exactly. So I'm being more.

• 2:23Brooke Averick?

When a girl lies about their height on Hinge, it's honest. And when a man does it, it's deceiving.

• 2:50Brooke Averick?

I've been so anti-man recently, which I think is good.

• 2:54Speaker 02

It's the bangs. I'm telling you, it's the bangs.

• 2:55Brooke Averick?

It's literally the bangs. I am, I foo.

• 3:00Speaker 02

  I foo too.

• 3:01Brooke Averick?

I feel like a new person.

• 3:04Speaker 02

I foo like a new person.

• 3:06Brooke Averick?

  Connor.

• 3:08Speaker 02

We're not, we're not starting with the B-suite. We really need to just milk every, every time we slip up on words, we need to go right into a riff about who, who's the individual that is fooing.

• 3:18Brooke Averick?

  Did I say B-suite?

• 3:20Speaker 02

No, but I saw it in your face. That was the next two words to come out of that mouth.

• 3:26Brooke Averick?

No, because we don't even need to draw more attention to the fact that I said foo.

• 3:30Speaker 02

But you, at the end of the day, you did say foo, and there's no shame in that.

• 3:33Brooke Averick?

I don't want to talk about it.

• 3:34Speaker 02

You're 411 and you said foo.

• 3:36Brooke Averick?

Those are two things that I don't want to talk about.

• 3:40Brooke Averick?

I do want to talk about how amazing my bangs look.

• 3:42Speaker 02

Okay. I feel like your bangs look amazing too.

• 3:48Speaker 02

I foo, you foo, he, she, we foo.

• 3:51Brooke Averick?

You're making me, you're making me very mad. And you do not want to make this girl mad. Especially because of the bangs.

• 4:00Speaker 02

  No, I, trust me.

• 4:03Brooke Averick?

Do you like them or what?

• 4:04Speaker 02

I told you before we even started recording.

• 4:06Brooke Averick?

But you didn't say it on camera.

• 4:08Speaker 02

Okay. I feel like your bangs look amazing.

• 4:10Brooke Averick?

  On camera, is it even?

• 4:13Speaker 02

No, you're right. No, you're right. And I, okay, your bangs look amazing. Thank you.

• 4:17Brooke Averick?

  Thank you.

• 4:19Speaker 02

I said it earnestly earlier. So if anyone's saying that I'm just like saying it to say it, like I did say it and she wants it on camera, let the record show that I feel like her bangs look amazing.

• 4:27Brooke Averick?

Thank you. I just wanted you to say it on camera. Thank you.

• 4:30Speaker 02

  Of course.

• 4:32Brooke Averick?

I feel like an art teacher.

• 4:34Speaker 02

No, you know what I feel like you are? Someone about to get architecturally digested.

• 4:40Brooke Averick?

No, you know what I actually felt like looking in the mirror this morning, which was scary? Like a woman on the brink of 30.

• 4:49Speaker 02

Brooke, there's so much power in that.

• 4:51Brooke Averick?

I felt that way. For the first time, I looked in the mirror and I said, instead of thinking, "Oh, my God, I'm almost 30," I thought, "Oh, my God, I'm almost 30."

• 4:59Speaker 02

  Can I, so I just-

• 5:01Brooke Averick?

But not necessarily almost. There's a long-

• 5:04Speaker 02

No, no one is. No one is. I, um, I just had a coffee meeting just now and I am, I kind of keep slipping into like existentialism with people that I'm casually talking to and it's, it doesn't have that, like, it's, it's like an actual business meeting and I'm like, "Yeah, and all my friends have two babies now, so it's kind of like, what am I doing?" You know, and I slipped that in. And this young man was 40 something and he was walking me through, he's like, "My 30s were my favorite part of my life because my life was easier because, not because I was better at it, because I made less mistakes. So it was like

• 5:46Speaker 02

twice as easy, which made the like twice as easy made it like double as fun and enjoyable because you like learn and you're better at life." Isn't that crazy?

• 5:55Brooke Averick?

  That makes sense.

• 5:55Speaker 02

Because you just make less mistakes. I know, it's just like, wow, I've never thought about, you're just, you're just better at it. So it makes it better.

• 6:03Brooke Averick?

Universally, the sentiment seems to be your 30s are the best decade.

• 6:07Speaker 02

  Yeah, but-

• 6:08Brooke Averick?

What I don't like about that is the fact that like if I'm living in them, it like gives me less to look forward to. Like in my 20s, I could be like, "Oh, at least like my 30s are the best decade." But when I'm in my 30s, it's like, "Uh, I'm about to be in my 40s next."

• 6:26Speaker 02

I feel like I'm gonna be really good at being in my 40s. Like I, I just feel like such a 40-year-old in my heart.

• 6:32Brooke Averick?

I just like can't stop thinking about the fact that like men truly like keep getting better with age.

• 6:39Speaker 02

  I know I'm gonna be a hot 42-year-old.

• 6:42Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. Which sucks.

• 6:44Speaker 02

I'm gonna be trouble at 42. You're gonna see me coming and be like, "Oh."

• 6:47Brooke Averick?

You might be trouble at 42. We're like, I don't really have the option to be trouble at 42.

• 6:52Speaker 02

  Yes, you do.

• 6:53Brooke Averick?

  Not really.

• 6:54Speaker 02

  With those bangs, Brooke?

• 6:55Brooke Averick?

I mean, with the bangs, yeah, things might be a little bit different now, but- It's harder for women.

• 7:00Speaker 02

Dancing through life with your bangs.

• 7:03Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 7:04Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 7:05Brooke Averick?

Can I tell you about my nightmare that I had?

• 7:07Speaker 02

I was gonna bring that up.

• 7:10Brooke Averick?

I, you know how I usually have the dream about like I'm driving and my brakes don't work and I'm approaching an intersection? And that's just like really a reflection of feeling out of control in my life.

• 7:22Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 7:22Brooke Averick?

I feel like I had a new out of control dream, but it's completely different. David Cornsweat DM'd me. And I was trying to respond, but somebody like a phantom was responding on my behalf and I could see them typing out and there was nothing I could do and there were so many typos. And the phantom just kept sending them and I was like screaming at my phone like, please, like, please, not to David Cornsweat, not to David Cornsweat. And everything, it was just out of my control. Somebody on my behalf was having a conversation with David Cornsweat in my DMs and there was nothing I could do to stop it or edit the typos.

• 8:02Speaker 02

  That's out of control.

• 8:02Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 8:03Speaker 02

That's, that's, that's almost worse than cruising up to an intersection.

• 8:06Brooke Averick?

No, that's my 2025 version of the intersection dream.

• 8:10Speaker 02

  DC?

• 8:12Brooke Averick?

Yeah, but I wonder why I would feel that way the day that I just got my bangs. If anything, I should feel the opposite. Like I finally have a new lease on life.

• 8:20Speaker 02

I think those are two isolated events. I don't think those two are related.

• 8:24Brooke Averick?

I feel like I should feel completely in control now.

• 8:29Brooke Averick?

But honestly, I think it's because I've been watching so much Girls.

• 8:32Speaker 02

  What episode are you on?

• 8:34Brooke Averick?

Uh, I just watched the episode, I think it was the season two finale where Hannah's OCD is like really, really bad. And she calls Adam and he's like, stay right where you are. And he stays on FaceTime with her and he's running across the entire city to get to her. That to me was the most romantic scene of anything I've ever seen.

• 8:52Speaker 02

  That's.

• 8:52Brooke Averick?

And I went from being like, they're gross to like, they're so gross and perfect and amazing. And I want exactly what they have.

• 9:00Speaker 02

  I might have to re-watch.

• 9:01Brooke Averick?

  You might.

• 9:02Speaker 02

  I might, because I don't remember that, but I.

• 9:04Brooke Averick?

Hannah and Adam are really just wonderful. And all I will say about Girls so far, I think I'm somewhere in season three right now.

• 9:12Brooke Averick?

Is that Hannah gets so much shit for being a narcissist. Whereas like, why aren't, why isn't everyone going for Marnie? She's awful.

• 9:23Brooke Averick?

Not to pit women against each other, but I do think we should like be talking about Marnie right now because she's now slept with the second one of her best friend's exes. And I think that's probably one of the worst things you can do. So to do it twice and then be going at someone else for being a narcissist is really remarkable. I hope Marnie like, I hope, I want someone to scream at Marnie is what I want. Cause she's screaming at everyone else. I pray someone screams at her soon. Shoshana did a little bit, but I need Hannah too. I need everyone else too.

• 9:54Speaker 02

She was my least favorite character.

• 9:57Brooke Averick?

Yeah, for sure. She's a tough one, but like intentionally.

• 10:05Brooke Averick?

What's so good about the writing is just like, the characters are all so unique. That it's like they've never been done before and they can never be done again. And they feel like real people because they're so unique. Like, it's like, you can't make this shit up, but someone did, which is insane.

• 10:23Speaker 02

I think the writing is so, it's just like so nuanced. That's, that's one of those shows where like, there's, there's little thing, and this is what I like in TV. This is my, this is my bar for television. I think Veep does a really good job at it.

• 10:38Speaker 02

Always Sunny sometimes, just like the jokes that they don't care if you get. And you rewind and you watch it again, it's like, wow, that's so tiny, but that's such a good detail.

• 10:48Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 10:49Speaker 02

  And they're fast.

• 10:51Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 10:51Speaker 02

  Try to keep up, bitch.

• 10:54Brooke Averick?

I just love like, I think the more reading I've been doing, the more I'm like, sometimes, and same in TV shows, kind of too, but it's a little bit harder in TV shows because every character is played by a different actor. But in books, sometimes it's like, every character is the same. You're just giving them a different name, like no one has a personality. So I think in writing, like when you're writing characters, like it is so hard, but so key to like, make every character have such a different voice and such a different personality and give them like, key characteristics to differentiate them. And Lena Dunham is so good at that.

• 11:32Speaker 02

Well, it's definitely pulled from lived experience. Cause it's way too detailed for her to just write that into a character.

• 11:41Brooke Averick?

Yeah, but everyone's lived experience and not everyone can do what she can.

• 11:45Speaker 02

I agree, but that definitely came from things she's like gone through.

• 11:51Brooke Averick?

  Well, yeah.

• 11:53Brooke Averick?

  She's so talented.

• 11:54Speaker 02

As a girl. Um. I had a booger in my nose all day today until it's noon. I had it since I woke up at 8:30.

• 12:04Brooke Averick?

Did you leave it in there on purpose?

• 12:06Speaker 02

Yeah, Brooke, I left it in there on purpose.

• 12:08Brooke Averick?

  Okay, are you being sarcastic?

• 12:10Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 12:10Brooke Averick?

There was no reason for that.

• 12:12Speaker 02

What kind of question is that? My nose ornament?

• 12:15Brooke Averick?

Maybe you just were like, what's the point of taking it out?

• 12:18Speaker 02

Cause there's gonna be another one? No, it was an accident. Yeah, I'm leaving this one there. This one is for me.

• 12:26Brooke Averick?

Okay, well, I used to have a cousin that wiped boogers on her face, so I don't know what you're doing.

• 12:30Speaker 02

Okay, let's circle back to cousins. Someone's banging on my door. One second.

• 12:32Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 12:35Brooke Averick?

Uh, just while he's gone, I need, I'm flagging that the, I need everyone to listen, listen to the grease. I can't, I don't, I don't want to talk about it. Izzy's laughing.

• 12:46Speaker 02

  What are you talking about?

• 12:47Brooke Averick?

I said lichen instead of listen.

• 12:49Speaker 02

  Uh oh.

• 12:50Brooke Averick?

And I tried to just breast.

• 12:53Speaker 02

Oh my God, lichen up everybody. Brooke is foohing a little breast off today. But everyone, thank you for listening.

• 13:03Brooke Averick?

I want to start talking with like Google Translate. I don't want to use my mouth and vocals.

• 13:10Speaker 02

You know what's, you know what's amazing about us?

• 13:13Brooke Averick?

  No, I don't.

• 13:14Speaker 02

Besides the obvious, AI could put its entire pussy into making a podcast and could never write anything as nuanced, positive connotation as, as this podcast, because it makes little to no sense.

• 13:29Brooke Averick?

Cause yeah, AI is not programmed to be dumb.

• 13:32Speaker 02

AI is not programmed to get from point A to point Q before going to B.

• 13:37Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, and going backwards too.

• 13:39Speaker 02

Yeah, and then we reverse engineered like such common sense thought processes. But we're the breasts at it.

• 13:46Brooke Averick?

  Totally.

• 13:49Brooke Averick?

I'm like cracking up thinking about our conversation about girls. Us being like, wow, it's like nuanced and like she made each character really different. And she's a genius.

• 14:01Speaker 02

  Me saying nuanced 400 times.

• 14:03Brooke Averick?

It's probably from lived experience and me saying, yeah.

• 14:08Speaker 02

  No, we're.

• 14:08Brooke Averick?

No one's talking about TV like that.

• 14:11Speaker 02

No one's talking about how characters are written based on people's experiences.

• 14:15Brooke Averick?

  And they're all different, too.

• 14:17Speaker 02

It's cool when, that feeling when characters are different.

• 14:20Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I agree. Like, so, yeah. Yeah, that was tough.

• 14:26Speaker 02

And you saying all characters in every book are the same.

• 14:28Brooke Averick?

I think, I genuinely feel that way sometimes. I think that's what differentiates a good book from a bad book.

• 14:35Speaker 02

  The characters?

• 14:37Brooke Averick?

Yeah, because sometimes when they're, when you can't see them being played by different actors, they all feel like the same person because it's just the author's voice.

• 14:46Brooke Averick?

Does that make sense? Are you whispering or is your mic out?

• 14:51Speaker 02

Uh, yes, it makes sense to me.

• 14:53Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 14:54Speaker 02

  Um.

• 14:59Speaker 02

  Um, well, anyways.

• 15:01Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 15:02Speaker 02

  Um.

• 15:02Brooke Averick?

I think your mic is really far away from your face.

• 15:05Speaker 02

  What?

• 15:05Brooke Averick?

I think your mic is far away from your face or something.

• 15:07Speaker 02

It's like about as close as it's ever been to my face.

• 15:10Brooke Averick?

  That's better.

• 15:11Speaker 02

Here, I'll point it more directly at my mouth.

• 15:13Brooke Averick?

  Thanks.

• 15:15Speaker 02

Just the, the thing is when I, when I was in, when I, my role for Noelle's horror film, I was flailing so much that, um, I knocked over my mic stand and it hasn't been the same since.

• 15:28Brooke Averick?

Can I be honest about something that happened in Noelle's horror film with my character? Um, my last scene, spoiler alert, when I was being stabbed in the back, um, like physically, not metaphorically, like with a knife.

• 15:44Brooke Averick?

I was supposed to, I did, I had a blood capsule in my mouth and it spilled out like really beautifully out of the side of my mouth. And that was cut.

• 15:54Speaker 02

Oh, that's a bummer. You should ask for that clip.

• 15:56Brooke Averick?

I wanted, I want it back. I'm, I'm really upset about it. Not upset, but like I worked really hard on that scene.

• 16:05Speaker 02

  That's hard.

• 16:05Brooke Averick?

I was really scared to put the blood capsule in my mouth.

• 16:08Speaker 02

  That's hard.

• 16:10Brooke Averick?

Yeah, so now I know how actors feel when their scenes are cut. It's like devastating.

• 16:15Speaker 02

  Yeah, that sucks.

• 16:17Brooke Averick?

  Totally sucks.

• 16:19Speaker 02

  What?

• 16:19Brooke Averick?

But it's okay. It's not right, but it's okay.

• 16:22Speaker 02

Yeah, like you, people do hard things. You have bangs now, so.

• 16:28Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, at least I did.

• 16:29Speaker 02

Um. My, okay, so before I got on, I was thinking about this. Did you see Tom Brady? He, um, you know a ton about, a ton about Tom.

• 16:40Brooke Averick?

I know, he played for the Patriots and he was married to Gisele and he kissed the sun on the lips.

• 16:47Speaker 02

Brooke, those are kind of the only things you need to know about TB.

• 16:50Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:50Speaker 02

  TB12.

• 16:52Brooke Averick?

And he's featured in the film 80 for Brady.

• 16:57Brooke Averick?

  I love that shit.

• 16:58Speaker 02

Which I heard was a masterpiece.

• 16:59Brooke Averick?

  A freaking masterpiece.

• 17:03Speaker 02

Well, that's amazing. Um, but Tom just cloned his dog and people are like,

• 17:10Speaker 02

you didn't hear that he cloned his dog?

• 17:12Brooke Averick?

  I did.

• 17:15Brooke Averick?

I didn't, and I saw a tweet that was like, I didn't know we were here yet. Neither did I.

• 17:20Speaker 02

Why did I, this didn't even make me blink. Like, why, why, I thought people have, I know, like I know people that have cloned their dogs.

• 17:28Brooke Averick?

I only know people from the season two of the rehearsal that cloned their dogs. But I was kind of like, that can't be real.

• 17:36Speaker 02

  Well, I don't think we're, I don't think cloning is

• 17:41Speaker 02

the right terminology. It's just like DNA, right?

• 17:44Brooke Averick?

Well, they're not, they don't have the same personality.

• 17:47Speaker 02

  It's a different dog.

• 17:48Brooke Averick?

  It's a different dog.

• 17:50Speaker 02

So I don't understand what they're cloning, like.

• 17:52Brooke Averick?

The DNA. Like, I guess if you cloned me and in an, and made me in an embryo, would I look the exact, I would look the exact same, but it would be a different person with like different behaviors.

• 18:10Speaker 02

  That would be.

• 18:10Brooke Averick?

And personality. Did a dog just walk in the studio? Okay.

• 18:14Speaker 02

  Why did you say that?

• 18:15Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 18:17Brooke Averick?

I thought I heard a dog, but it was just Evan's backpack.

• 18:23Speaker 02

  Now I hear something.

• 18:25Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 18:26Speaker 02

Now I hear, oh, oh my gosh.

• 18:30Speaker 02

There's a, there's a group of schoolchildren walking by and they're all tied together.

• 18:33Brooke Averick?

Oh, I love when that happens.

• 18:35Speaker 02

  So cute.

• 18:37Brooke Averick?

I wish I could tie my kids together.

• 18:39Speaker 02

That's the dream one day is to one day tie, tie 12 kids, kids together.

• 18:44Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 18:47Speaker 00

• 19:46Speaker 02

Okay. Oh, doesn't that just make your heart warm?

• 19:50Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 19:53Brooke Averick?

How many kids do you want?

• 19:55Speaker 02

What kind of kids do I want?

• 19:56Brooke Averick?

  How many?

• 19:57Speaker 02

  Oh.

• 20:01Speaker 02

Three sounds right, but that doesn't make sense numbers wise, because I feel like they need to be even.

• 20:07Brooke Averick?

  I have three.

• 20:11Speaker 02

Do you guys gang up on each other?

• 20:14Brooke Averick?

  We have in the past.

• 20:17Speaker 02

Yeah, I feel like it's always gotta be like there is, there ends up being a majority there and I feel like that's not right.

• 20:22Brooke Averick?

Well, imagine when it's three to one, if you have four, that's even worse.

• 20:26Speaker 02

I don't think it ever would be.

• 20:27Brooke Averick?

You can gang up on each other in an even number.

• 20:29Speaker 02

Okay, well, if it was three to one, then like the, the one like, sorry, that is truly like there is, that's your fault. If you, if you don't even have a single person that will vouch for you.

• 20:40Brooke Averick?

Me and Gabby and I gung up on Noah so.

• 20:43Speaker 02

  You gung up on him?

• 20:44Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 20:45Speaker 02

  So.

• 20:47Brooke Averick?

  Bad last year.

• 20:49Speaker 02

  Last year?

• 20:50Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it was like one of the worst gung ups like I've ever seen.

• 20:54Speaker 02

You shouldn't be ganging up on your family. You're blind.

• 20:58Brooke Averick?

  He deserved it.

• 21:00Speaker 02

  What'd he do?

• 21:00Brooke Averick?

Are my bangs like, my bangs feel really weird right now against my forehead. They're fine. He.

• 21:08Brooke Averick?

Um, my, this was the family cruise.

• 21:13Brooke Averick?

And it was actually like me and Gabby were like, we were like, we want to go on a family vacation. We never do that. And we'd been saying that for years. And so I think we had, we had plans to be with our dad for Thanksgiving and he like texted us like, surprise. Like we're going on a cruise. And Gabby and I were like, yay, we're so excited. Thanks dad. Like we love you. And he's like, I love you guys. Like I'm so excited. And Noah responds and was like, wow, don't know if I can come. Had plans. And like, that was all his only response. And so Gabby and I were like, texting him on the side. We were like, dad was so excited. He gave us such a special gift and that's how you repay him. Like you're really a bad person.

• 21:57Brooke Averick?

And no, and not those words. But we were really mean.

• 22:01Speaker 02

I, I can't imagine if you and Gabby group texted me and.

• 22:06Brooke Averick?

Well, it's like sad when your parents are like old and they do something nice and then you watch one kid to be like, nah, I'm not interested.

• 22:14Speaker 02

Did, well, he said, I can't make it, right? Like, did you, did you book it for a date?

• 22:19Brooke Averick?

He was like, it was worse than that.

• 22:20Speaker 02

  Double checking his schedule?

• 22:21Brooke Averick?

He was like, wow, wish you had told me. But my dad was like doing this like grand gesture, surprise. That was really sweet. I don't need you on Noah's side. I don't need you doing Noah's side right now.

• 22:32Speaker 02

No, if my parents booked a trip that seemed really fun and I had work, I'd be like, why didn't you double check with me?

• 22:38Brooke Averick?

  He didn't have work.

• 22:40Speaker 02

  What did he have?

• 22:41Brooke Averick?

I don't remember, but it was like something fine.

• 22:45Speaker 02

  To skip?

• 22:46Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 22:47Speaker 02

Oh, well, I'd still be like, oh, like, we should have been like, okay, I'm go- I I bought these things. What dates is everyone available? No?

• 22:55Brooke Averick?

I mean, it was just like a sweet surprise gesture.

• 22:59Speaker 02

You do want to check availability. I'm.

• 23:02Brooke Averick?

We were all supposed to be with him for Thanksgiving.

• 23:04Speaker 02

Oh, you didn't say it was a Thanksgiving trip.

• 23:05Brooke Averick?

I did. I did. I had said that. Well, don't you remember I went on a cruise over Thanksgiving and I said we were gonna be with my dad for Thanksgiving?

• 23:18Speaker 02

Pish posh, we were taking a bath. Um.

• 23:21Brooke Averick?

You can't fiercely play devil's advocate when you're not even listening.

• 23:24Speaker 02

I am locked and loaded over here.

• 23:30Brooke Averick?

Anyway, I'm gonna clean my cats.

• 23:32Speaker 02

Someone, someone outside is singing, but not good. It's a little, it's, it sounds like a ghoul. I keep having to look out because I don't know where people would be outside this window. You know the window in this room?

• 23:48Brooke Averick?

  I kind of forget.

• 23:49Speaker 02

Well, there's this room that I'm in here. You kind of know this, this area.

• 23:53Brooke Averick?

  Uh huh.

• 23:54Speaker 02

And then there's one window there that looks out kind of at, straight at a brick wall.

• 23:57Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 23:58Speaker 02

And then it also looks into my neighbors like houses, but I don't know where people could be singing out there. It's also so cool.

• 24:04Brooke Averick?

  Probably on the street.

• 24:06Speaker 02

  This is not the street.

• 24:09Brooke Averick?

  But there is a street.

• 24:11Speaker 02

  Yeah, but they're back.

• 24:15Speaker 02

Anyways, it's fine. They can sing their, they can sing their hearts out. Wait, I have been loving saying eat your heart out.

• 24:22Brooke Averick?

What context do you use that in?

• 24:25Speaker 02

  Like, um.

• 24:27Speaker 02

Eat your heart out Noah, we'll be on this Thanksgiving trip.

• 24:30Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 24:31Speaker 02

It's like, go fuck yourself, I think.

• 24:32Brooke Averick?

Oh, I wish I had the screenshots of all that. It was so funny.

• 24:37Speaker 02

Eat your heart out Noah, at your plans.

• 24:39Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 24:40Speaker 02

  We'll be with Papa.

• 24:42Brooke Averick?

He did end up coming on the cruise and he did end up sleeping on the plank.

• 24:47Speaker 02

Oh my God, he got planked?

• 24:49Brooke Averick?

  He got totally planked.

• 24:50Speaker 02

That's, why did, I'm still not over you guys putting like 12 adult people in that one.

• 24:55Brooke Averick?

It wasn't okay. And we knew it was bad because usually my dad, like when things are bad, like he'll be like, wow, this is incredible. And try to make us feel bad that we're like not appreciating a situation that's like clearly shitty. You know? And he walked into that suite, which I think was sold and marketed pretty differently. And he said, this is pretty bad.

• 25:17Speaker 02

I would have, I would have jumped ship, I think. Oh my God, they're releasing, um. That was like, this, this, this makes me feel similar to that, similarly to that. Like the vibe of older teenage kids with their AirPods in the whole time on a trip. And like looking at their phones and like their parents are like, we took you to California, you know? And it's like, take your AirPods out, you know? Like when I, when we went to Yellowstone with my family and my dad was so excited because he got a convertible. And it was like, we, there was like a rogue winter storm and it was like 30 degrees outside and it was dumping snow. And he was like, no, we have a convertible, we're putting the top down.

• 26:00Speaker 02

And no one spoke, we were, no one was talking, everyone was mad. There's buffalo everywhere. We like, I couldn't enjoy it because I was just pissed off the whole time.

• 26:08Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 26:08Speaker 02

I had the worst haircut during this time of my life that you could, you could see my scalp. Like it was that then, and then it was like Macklemore.

• 26:19Brooke Averick?

  I know that one, yeah.

• 26:21Speaker 02

  You do?

• 26:22Brooke Averick?

Yeah, from bottoming out on your Instagram or something.

• 26:26Speaker 02

Oh, it is like it's way down there.

• 26:28Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, it's far down.

• 26:30Speaker 02

I need to archive that. It's one of, it's like that, when you have a haircut like that, it makes you wonder if any of your friends really liked you. You know, because how come no one was like, oh my gosh, why did you do that?

• 26:44Brooke Averick?

Oh, I think the opposite, like the fact that they're still willing to be friends with you through that.

• 26:50Speaker 02

I like to say something, if it's fixable.

• 26:54Brooke Averick?

You can't make a comment on your friend's bad haircuts. That's really mean.

• 26:58Speaker 02

When it grows out, I would be like, hey, you can't cut it like that ever again.

• 27:02Brooke Averick?

Well, did you like your haircut?

• 27:04Speaker 02

I must have, but like, I'm.

• 27:07Brooke Averick?

If my friend likes their haircut, I'm not going to be like, hey, this looks really bad. That's a really mean thing to say.

• 27:16Speaker 02

No, you don't say it when, you know, someone doesn't get a tattoo and you're like, that is horrible, you know, it's just like, oh. But like hair is fixable. So I think when it grows out, I'd be like, hey, you should not do that again.

• 27:27Brooke Averick?

  Oh, I don't agree.

• 27:28Speaker 02

Because your friend may like the haircut, but do they also like?

• 27:35Brooke Averick?

Well, if they think it looks good, then like, who cares?

• 27:37Speaker 02

  Sexy.

• 27:38Brooke Averick?

If they feel good in it.

• 27:44Speaker 02

I'm agreeing with you to a point, but then I'm like, I promise you as your friend, like this is bad.

• 27:50Brooke Averick?

  I don't agree.

• 27:51Speaker 02

I'm not all for like, oh, you feel good in it. Because I'd be like, I promise you from the outside looking in, you shouldn't feel good in it.

• 28:01Brooke Averick?

  That's really mean.

• 28:03Speaker 02

  I don't, I'm honest.

• 28:04Brooke Averick?

No, but just because it's honest doesn't mean you should say something.

• 28:08Speaker 02

If I was getting ready to post a picture of myself, a selfie, and I show you and you go, oh my.

• 28:13Brooke Averick?

Does it make you feel good?

• 28:18Speaker 02

Like, I'd rather have you be like, "I promise you, you don't want to post that picture."

• 28:22Brooke Averick?

Well, maybe if it's you, and I know that you feel that way, but like, most people just like, want to feel good about themselves and not have people ruin it.

• 28:30Speaker 02

I feel like, the way I would feel good about myself is when I got validation from other people.

• 28:35Brooke Averick?

Well, I would encourage you to change your entire way of being.

• 28:39Speaker 02

Is your said than done, little messy?

• 28:41Brooke Averick?

I agree, that's one thing we can agree about.

• 28:43Speaker 02

Okay, we got here, we got here. And the characters, the characters in Girls are nuanced, like, at the end of the day.

• 28:49Brooke Averick?

At the end of the day, it's like, they're different characters.

• 28:52Speaker 02

  Right.

• 28:53Brooke Averick?

So Lena Dunham is an incredible writer.

• 28:56Speaker 02

You know what's incredible about Lena Dunham's characters?

• 28:59Brooke Averick?

  They're based off lived experience.

• 29:00Speaker 02

And they're based off lived experiences, and there's more than one of them too, and they're all, they all have differences.

• 29:06Brooke Averick?

Next time we disagree, like, that's something that we can come back to.

• 29:11Speaker 02

The one, the one thing that you and I, we can like, like, shot chaser, the chaser's always gonna be Lena Dunham.

• 29:18Brooke Averick?

  Created characters.

• 29:19Speaker 02

Created characters, but they are different, and they're nuanced, and they're blue.

• 29:22Brooke Averick?

  And she really did that.

• 29:24Speaker 02

  Things she did.

• 29:25Brooke Averick?

I love just throwing the word nuance into conversation when I like, don't really know what I'm saying.

• 29:31Speaker 02

I don't know what nuance means.

• 29:33Brooke Averick?

I want you to try to define it.

• 29:34Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 29:36Brooke Averick?

Defining words is really hard, even when you know what it means.

• 29:39Speaker 02

A nuance is like a subtle difference, right, or like a subtle detail.

• 29:43Brooke Averick?

  That's like, so well said.

• 29:46Speaker 02

Okay, that's amazing, that's exciting for me.

• 29:48Brooke Averick?

Wow, the actual definition is characterized by subtle shades of meaning or expression. That's great, Connor. Subtlety is a key word there, I'm glad, that's a great one to tap into.

• 29:59Speaker 02

  Subtlety.

• 30:00Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 30:00Speaker 02

What is subtle? Like, little and almost unnoticed?

• 30:04Brooke Averick?

You're like, really good at defining words.

• 30:09Brooke Averick?

Yeah, so delicate or precise as to be difficult to analyze or describe. Pretty much.

• 30:16Speaker 02

Well, the Oxford Dictionary really stepping up.

• 30:18Brooke Averick?

Oh, my god. I just thought of a new page for my Hobonichi vocab words. Hobonichi.

• 30:26Speaker 02

  Oh, I haven't, I haven't.

• 30:29Speaker 02

I haven't dived into my, I haven't dove into my divin.

• 30:34Brooke Averick?

  Div.

• 30:34Speaker 02

I haven't hot, I haven't divved into my words I like list in so long.

• 30:40Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 30:42Speaker 02

  That's crazy.

• 30:43Brooke Averick?

You should get a Hobonichi and add a page for that.

• 30:45Speaker 02

I should, because have you not, you don't use the Notes app, right, on your phone? Did you say that?

• 30:51Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 30:52Speaker 02

Okay, someone told me recently they don't use it, and I was like, that's insane, because it's all I use, and they, and then they kind of opened my eyes up to the fact, I'm sorry, like, that needs to stop. The fact that

• 31:07Speaker 02

you can't search for anything in the Notes app. Like, if you search for, I have written very specific

• 31:16Speaker 02

jokes in the Notes app or something, or a list, or names for a show that I need to add to the guest list or whatever. They will just disappear. It's impossible to search.

• 31:25Brooke Averick?

I feel like you can search everything.

• 31:28Speaker 02

No, it like, it like disappears your notes a lot.

• 31:33Brooke Averick?

  I don't think so.

• 31:33Speaker 02

  Anyways. Um, okay, so

• 31:38Speaker 02

  we recorded yesterday.

• 31:39Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 31:41Speaker 02

  And so.

• 31:42Brooke Averick?

We did a really, we thought we were gonna have nothing to say, like, whatsoever, because we recorded yesterday and felt yesterday like we had nothing to say. So I'm pretty proud of us for having that really nuanced conversation.

• 31:54Speaker 02

Well, it was different, and it's based off of lived.

• 31:57Brooke Averick?

It was totally based off of lived.

• 32:01Speaker 02

And there's a ton of differences between you and I and yesterday and today.

• 32:07Brooke Averick?

  Hmm.

• 32:08Speaker 02

Which is crazy because they are-

• 32:09Brooke Averick?

The experiences that we lived from yesterday's recording to today's were so nuanced and so subtle. It actually gave us 30 minutes of talking material.

• 32:20Speaker 02

That we talked for 30 minutes. Okay, but we had, um, div into the DMs where people had sent in

• 32:31Speaker 02

several submissions, which were just groundbreaking and so nuanced and really amazing. So much so that I wanted, I want to go through them. Is that okay?

• 32:41Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 32:43Speaker 02

Okay, so, um, and I, we just asked for really, really general stuff, right?

• 32:52Brooke Averick?

Right. Well, first we asked for family drama and that one didn't work out so well.

• 33:00Brooke Averick?

So we moved on to just more of a general.

• 33:05Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 33:08Speaker 02

My room, this is advice that someone sent in.

• 33:14Speaker 02

  Are you ready?

• 33:14Brooke Averick?

  I am.

• 33:15Speaker 02

  It's kind of relevant.

• 33:16Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 33:17Speaker 02

  It's also nuanced and different.

• 33:18Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 33:19Speaker 02

My roommate's boyfriend picks his nose in our room all the time. I don't know why this is, he's really hot, so she never addresses any of his issues. But what can I say besides get your boyfriend to stop leaving boogers in our room? He literally picks his nose and then flicks them.

• 33:38Speaker 02

There is this feeling in my soul that I have with booger picking where like, when I flick it, like I'll never see that. It does like kind of disappear.

• 33:46Brooke Averick?

You think you're flicking it into the void, like Edna Bitts opens and consumes the booger?

• 33:51Speaker 02

See, like I know that that's not the case. By the way, I'm not doing this.

• 33:55Brooke Averick?

What a good idea for a children's book. Where'd all the boogers go? Boogerland.

• 34:00Speaker 02

I'll tell you where the boogers go because I, what was I going to tell you earlier is that like, this is, there was someone I knew that I slept over at their house and-

• 34:11Brooke Averick?

  Ooh.

• 34:13Speaker 02

No, like growing up, like a just sleepover vibes and I was in a bunk bed.

• 34:17Brooke Averick?

Did they have a booger corner?

• 34:19Speaker 02

  They had a booger wall.

• 34:20Brooke Averick?

Connor, my cousin that wiped boogers on her face, I found her booger corner too once.

• 34:26Speaker 02

So the boogers do not exist when they leave your nose?

• 34:29Brooke Averick?

Well, because they were doing intentional wiping.

• 34:33Speaker 02

  Like building a

• 34:33Brooke Averick?

  That's different than the flick.

• 34:36Speaker 02

  They're putting a team

• 34:36Brooke Averick?

They were building an army where they could see them.

• 34:40Speaker 02

  Like spackling.

• 34:43Speaker 02

  I don't like that.

• 34:44Brooke Averick?

  I don't like the spackle.

• 34:46Speaker 02

Yeah, when I said spackle, you're, I saw your mood, your demeanor changed a little bit.

• 34:52Brooke Averick?

I, one time, I hope this doesn't change the way anyone looks at me. But when I was little, I had a, I had a spot and one day I was just like so consumed with guilt that I started sobbing and I confessed my spot to my, to my mom.

• 35:13Brooke Averick?

And she, she, she cleaned it. That's the end of the story.

• 35:19Speaker 02

  Consumed with guilt.

• 35:20Brooke Averick?

Why am I so Lena Dunham with that one?

• 35:23Speaker 02

  Just nuanced and different?

• 35:24Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 35:26Speaker 02

Woo! I just kicked over the computer almost. Um.

• 35:31Brooke Averick?

I didn't need to tell that.

• 35:33Speaker 02

  It's okay.

• 35:34Brooke Averick?

It just like didn't have any meaningful impact and all it did was tell people that I'm gross.

• 35:40Speaker 02

No, I think, I think it opened you up to being so transparent with this group of people that already knows everything about you and I.

• 35:51Brooke Averick?

I think what wasn't okay about my booger spot is that it was on fabric.

• 35:59Speaker 02

Oh yeah, Brooke, oh, that's the part.

• 36:01Brooke Averick?

Which is, which is what my, which is what's not good.

• 36:05Speaker 02

  What fabric?

• 36:06Brooke Averick?

My cousins was in the corner of, on the wall. It was on the back of the couch.

• 36:12Brooke Averick?

But a couch in a room where no one sat.

• 36:15Speaker 02

A couch is a couch is a couch. Ew, sorry. That's nasty.

• 36:21Brooke Averick?

  Connor.

• 36:22Speaker 02

  That's gross.

• 36:23Brooke Averick?

  I was four.

• 36:25Speaker 02

  Were you?

• 36:26Brooke Averick?

  Yes, Jen.

• 36:29Speaker 02

  How do you remember that?

• 36:32Brooke Averick?

I do kinda wanna call my mom and ask her like what that confession was like from her POV.

• 36:38Speaker 02

  That would be funny.

• 36:40Brooke Averick?

  Should I do that?

• 36:40Speaker 02

  Yeah, you should do that.

• 36:42Brooke Averick?

  I'm like always...

• 36:43Speaker 02

  Give her a shout!

• 36:43Brooke Averick?

  I'm like worried about her.

• 36:46Speaker 02

  Ugh.

• 36:47Brooke Averick?

Let me see. Oops, I hung up.

• 36:52Brooke Averick?

Ooh, call failed. What's wrong with her?

• 36:56Brooke Averick?

  Hello?

• 36:59Speaker 02

People's phones are breaking right now.

• 37:00Brooke Averick?

  Are they actually?

• 37:02Speaker 02

  Yeah, my parents don't ring.

• 37:05Brooke Averick?

It just keeps saying call failed.

• 37:07Speaker 02

It could be your phone too. I heard those phones are having issues.

• 37:10Brooke Averick?

  What phones?

• 37:12Speaker 02

  The new one.

• 37:14Brooke Averick?

  Now it's working.

• 37:17Brooke Averick?

  She's not available.

• 37:20Brooke Averick?

  Are you there?

• 37:23Brooke Averick?

Okay, hopefully we can catch her later.

• 37:27Speaker 02

  No worries at all.

• 38:28Brooke Averick?

But anyway, that's that load of horse shit.

• 38:32Speaker 02

Um, so your friend's boyfriend is picking his nose in your room.

• 38:38Speaker 02

Listen, I am all for, well, Brooke, your opinion is, what if it makes him feel good?

• 38:47Brooke Averick?

No, that's not my opinion. This is totally different than someone's haircut. I think it's really reasonable for you not want to, for you to not want someone to drop their boogers on you, in your room.

• 39:00Brooke Averick?

It's not the same situation at all, as telling someone their haircut's fugly.

• 39:06Speaker 02

Yeah, I think you just have to be like, hey, like, you gotta come up with like a, I think you gotta come up with like a really good funny burn. And be like, hey, booger, hey, Professor Bugs, like, why, where, what, why are you flicking your boogers everywhere?

• 39:19Brooke Averick?

I, yeah, I think make it light, nice and light, make a joke of it.

• 39:22Speaker 02

  Yeah, something nice and light.

• 39:23Brooke Averick?

You don't need to make it like a big, like, sit down, like, I, like, please stop.

• 39:28Speaker 02

  Intervention.

• 39:28Brooke Averick?

Flicking your boogers in my room, blah, blah, blah. Hey, man, why, why are you flicking your boogers in my room?

• 39:34Speaker 02

Hey, man, put that thing back where it came from.

• 39:36Brooke Averick?

Or so help me, yeah. I think just like, next time he does it, make a joke, or like, call it out in a funny way.

• 39:46Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 39:47Brooke Averick?

If someone was really hot and doing that, though, would you care?

• 39:52Speaker 02

Is, is it possible for someone to be hot and flicking their boogers all over your room?

• 39:56Brooke Averick?

  Awesome question.

• 39:59Brooke Averick?

From where I'm standing, yes. Cause I'm, I'm really sick. Cause I can convince myself anything is endearing, when it's the right person.

• 40:11Speaker 02

  Balls deep in your nostril.

• 40:12Brooke Averick?

I'm thinking about Jonathan Bailey flicking his boogers in my room. Go ahead, King.

• 40:18Brooke Averick?

Hey, here's the, here's what, here's my couch. Make yourself at home.

• 40:22Speaker 02

Put them all in one area with me.

• 40:23Brooke Averick?

I want you to have a space where you feel comfortable putting your boogers in my home.

• 40:27Speaker 02

  That's insane.

• 40:28Brooke Averick?

  Connor.

• 40:30Speaker 02

  No, it's okay.

• 40:33Speaker 02

No, it's okay. Feel free to be you.

• 40:36Brooke Averick?

  Thank you.

• 40:38Speaker 02

A lot of the advice pieces were really actually kind of upsetting and depressing. There's a lot of people that can't get out of bed in the morning.

• 40:46Brooke Averick?

  I get that.

• 40:47Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 40:48Brooke Averick?

  You know what helps me?

• 40:49Speaker 02

  What?

• 40:49Brooke Averick?

Genuinely, like, I don't know, I just started screaming. You just have to. And like, that's the worst thing in the world, but like, not giving myself an option is the only thing that helps me do it miserable.

• 41:05Speaker 02

You know, you know what woke me up this morning?

• 41:07Brooke Averick?

  Do it with a frown?

• 41:10Speaker 02

No, I like, I like took a water bottle into my bed last night. So I was like watching TV and I'm just like, I know I'm gonna get thirsty. And it was like screw on top.

• 41:23Speaker 02

I like woke up, like I woke up in the middle of the night, it had unscrewed and my bed soaked right now.

• 41:29Brooke Averick?

  I'm sorry.

• 41:31Speaker 02

So maybe put a bottle of water in your bed and you won't stay in it for very long.

• 41:37Brooke Averick?

I need to wash my sheets if that helps, like really badly and I can't.

• 41:41Speaker 02

  Minor washing right now.

• 41:42Brooke Averick?

Oh, I'm jealous. Well, you know, actually like I need to stop saying the most disgusting things. So I'm gonna look inward and not say that.

• 41:53Speaker 02

What's in there? When you looked inward, when did you see?

• 41:56Brooke Averick?

I saw someone that needs to not say what they wanted to.

• 42:00Speaker 02

I want you to say it.

• 42:01Brooke Averick?

  No, it's like gross.

• 42:03Speaker 02

Is it, well, I mean, we were talking about your sheets, so now people are just filling in the blanks.

• 42:07Brooke Averick?

No, it does not really have to do with that. It has to do with something one of my cats did.

• 42:13Speaker 02

  Oh yeah, don't say it.

• 42:15Brooke Averick?

They didn't like go in my sheets or anything. It's not that bad. I just don't want to talk about it right now.

• 42:21Speaker 02

Hey, no one's making you. You don't talk about it?

• 42:24Brooke Averick?

They pooped on Rob. Pooped. He didn't even poop. He's so good. He had poop on his butt, which was not his fault at all. He's the most amazing guy.

• 42:37Brooke Averick?

He just couldn't get to it. And so it was, he wiped, he scooted on my bathroom mat. And so I cleaned it.

• 42:47Brooke Averick?

Why are you shaking your head?

• 42:49Speaker 02

Oh, I mean, because I'm just, I'm finishing your sentences before you, but I've been wrong at every turn. So go ahead.

• 42:54Brooke Averick?

Oh, so I cleaned the bath mat as much as I could. It was a little bit. It was only a little bit. And then I put it in the wa- in the wash. But now I'm like, I don't really want to put my sheets in the same washing machine.

• 43:09Brooke Averick?

Even though it was like, not even a, a like perceivable amount, once it went into the washing machine. But I'll just be thinking about it.

• 43:20Brooke Averick?

I should, should I have thrown the bath mat away? Dirt goes down the drain with the water during the drain cycles of washing machine eventually flowing into the sewer system. The detergent helps suspend the dirt. Izzy, can you Google, can you put poop in the washing machine?

• 43:35Brooke Averick?

Like a little, like not even in that, like if something, if you poop, yeah, a little poop. Can you put a little poop, let's pretend it's on your underwear, uh, in the washing machine?

• 43:44Speaker 02

Can you put a little poop in the washing machine?

• 43:46Brooke Averick?

Yes, you can put a small amount of poop in the washing machine. But you must first remove as much solid matter as possible. It's exactly what I did. And wash the item separately. It's exactly what I did. Thank you.

• 43:56Speaker 02

Thank you, Google. Thank you, Google Gemini for coming through with the answer so easily.

• 44:01Speaker 02

Can you, can you search on Google and see if Google Gemini answers this? I am a baby seal. I can't find my mama.

• 44:10Brooke Averick?

  What it, where's that from?

• 44:12Speaker 02

I want to see if, I want to see if, can you see, can I see it a little bigger? If you are a human who has found a baby seal, nope, wrong. I'm a baby seal. What do I do? Can, I'm a baby seal.

• 44:28Brooke Averick?

What are you trying to do?

• 44:29Speaker 02

What do I do? I'm lost.

• 44:31Brooke Averick?

If you are a baby seal, you should remain still and wait for your mother to return to nurse you.

• 44:36Speaker 02

  Eee.

• 44:40Brooke Averick?

If your mother does not return, this is so sad. If you're a baby seal on the beach, stay put.

• 44:49Speaker 02

Your mother have, may have abandoned you and you will need help from a local wildlife rescue. Luckily, baby seals can, this is easily accessible information for them. So they'll need to stay put and wait for a local wildlife rescue to come pick them up.

• 45:03Speaker 02

If you're a baby seal on the beach, stay put. Wait for help and if you, you are a wild animal and can bite if you feel threatened, humans should not approach you. Okay, thank you.

• 45:13Brooke Averick?

  That's so interesting.

• 45:14Speaker 02

  Google Gemini is goaded.

• 45:19Speaker 02

  Is Google Gemini AI?

• 45:21Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 45:22Speaker 02

But so like, when we Google something, even if I'm not using, if I'm, I'm not like seeking that out, it's still like we're using AI with every Google search now?

• 45:32Brooke Averick?

  I think so.

• 45:35Speaker 02

We are done for. That is so crazy.

• 45:37Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 45:40Speaker 02

  So go.

• 45:40Brooke Averick?

Back work came from, so help me.

• 45:43Speaker 02

  Eighty degrees.

• 45:45Brooke Averick?

  Do you have another one?

• 45:48Speaker 02

Yeah. I just keep getting texts from people that are like, hey, I wanted to come to your show, but tickets are $900 now. It is sold out. I don't know where $900, like it's so insane. Those are scams. I'm not, who, who's tickets? Taylor Swift, $900 tickets, right?

• 46:06Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 46:07Speaker 02

  Like Beyonce.

• 46:08Brooke Averick?

I mean, it might be your ticket.

• 46:12Speaker 02

I think that they might be real tickets, but it's because StubHub like buys a bunch and then resells them based on demand.

• 46:17Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 46:18Speaker 02

Just flattering that demand equals $900. I think they were $32.

• 46:23Brooke Averick?

Oh my God, it's actually $900. That's crazy, Connor. You know what would be even crazier? If someone bought it.

• 46:33Speaker 02

I really pray. I told people, do not buy it. It is sold out.

• 46:37Brooke Averick?

But they, I think they're real. Our Subhub ticket's always real. I got scammed recently for Book of Mormon. I think it, it's important to be aware of some sellers may attempt to sell counterfeit or duplicate tickets.

• 46:51Speaker 02

  Yeah. Yeah. Okay.

• 46:55Speaker 02

Um, okay, ready? I'm gonna do another one.

• 46:59Speaker 02

I really like this guy I'm hooking up with, but he smells so bad.

• 47:02Brooke Averick?

That's tough. I, that's for me, the end.

• 47:06Speaker 02

  Really?

• 47:07Brooke Averick?

Also, but like, what is, like, what kind of smell? Like, from where?

• 47:11Speaker 02

  Mentioned deodorant.

• 47:12Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 47:12Speaker 02

  But.

• 47:13Brooke Averick?

Then that, like, if it's BO, I don't know why I said that in that way. Um. You didn't hear that?

• 47:22Speaker 02

  What?

• 47:23Brooke Averick?

Okay. Um, if it's BO, that's fine. Just like, tell him he needs deodorant.

• 47:29Speaker 02

See, I think if someone is so unaware that they smell like BO

• 47:37Speaker 02

and it's like an intentional choice that they're making to not address it, I think that's

• 47:45Speaker 02

signs of an underlying bigger issue.

• 47:48Brooke Averick?

Also, if he was your soulmate, you'd probably like his BO.

• 47:51Speaker 02

Right. Oh, Brooke! Way to make that leap.

• 47:55Brooke Averick?

  Thanks.

• 47:56Speaker 02

  Pat, you're back.

• 47:59Speaker 02

Well done. Yeah, that's a good point.

• 48:00Brooke Averick?

  Thanks.

• 48:01Speaker 02

If you're not loving that musk, he's not your Elon.

• 48:04Brooke Averick?

  I kind of agree.

• 48:07Speaker 02

Wow. Okay, that was easy. Dump him, or, or, or just only, only fuck in the shower.

• 48:15Brooke Averick?

  Good idea.

• 48:20Speaker 02

My best friend's dog is the cutest, sweetest dog ever. He has gigantic balls and a really big butthole.

• 48:27Speaker 02

  I love him so much.

• 48:29Brooke Averick?

Okay, who does that remind you of?

• 48:31Speaker 02

Gigantic balls and a really big butthole. Hmm, that's so Henry. Henry, Henry.

• 48:39Brooke Averick?

  Nice.

• 48:41Speaker 02

Okay. I love him so much and want to pet him, but I hate getting his balls all over me as well as his butthole at times. Any advice for squeamish dog lovers like? Put, yeah, put a, put him, put on some pants, put some pants on.

• 48:54Brooke Averick?

No, I would, I feel the same way. I can't do, I can't do dog balls.

• 48:58Speaker 02

I don't like, see a world where the balls would get on you.

• 49:02Brooke Averick?

If it's sitting, if it's like jumping and sitting on you.

• 49:05Speaker 02

I guess, yeah. Well, I was thinking a big dog. If he's got a huge butthole, like, how big of a butthole could like a Yorkie have, you know?

• 49:11Brooke Averick?

  It's not a Yorkie, I don't think.

• 49:13Speaker 02

  No, they didn't say.

• 49:15Brooke Averick?

Yeah, no, I would assume it's like more like a bigger dog.

• 49:19Speaker 02

But a bigger dog, like the front of them would be on.

• 49:21Brooke Averick?

  Maybe it's midsize.

• 49:23Speaker 02

  Hmm.

• 49:26Speaker 02

Okay, regardless, maybe just focus on the head. And maybe, maybe don't, maybe you don't do as much, maybe you don't do as much butt stuff with the dog.

• 49:34Brooke Averick?

Well, it's kind of hard just not to like, like I could be focusing on the head, but like I know what's back there.

• 49:42Speaker 02

I, with Max, I never, I'm not, I'm never, I'm never really, I'm not back there ever.

• 49:48Brooke Averick?

I feel like my cat buttholes are like always in my face.

• 49:51Speaker 02

This is, no, I feel like cat buttholes are like.

• 49:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 49:54Speaker 02

  Just like, hello, everybody.

• 49:57Brooke Averick?

Yeah, they're not a problem and they don't have balls.

• 50:00Speaker 02

  Cats do have balls.

• 50:02Brooke Averick?

  Mine don't.

• 50:04Speaker 02

  They're fixed.

• 50:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 50:07Brooke Averick?

  The balls are gone.

• 50:10Speaker 02

Right. Oh, that makes me sick when I got Max fixed. Oh, it makes me sick.

• 50:15Brooke Averick?

Like you had to, I couldn't really talk to Max when he had his balls.

• 50:20Speaker 02

Max is like so big and fl- I mean, his balls were.

• 50:23Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I couldn't really, I couldn't really like navigate that.

• 50:28Speaker 02

I mean, and, oh my God, I'm thinking about Max's balls. They're like, they looked like human balls.

• 50:34Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, it was upsetting.

• 50:36Speaker 02

Max had like a ball sack.

• 50:37Brooke Averick?

Yeah, this is, it was upsetting.

• 50:41Speaker 02

I forgot about that. Now he's just kind of like ball-less king.

• 50:45Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 50:46Speaker 02

  What a bummer to like.

• 50:50Speaker 02

He never really humped either, but just like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I'm thinking too much about this, give me a panic attack. Thinking about only having a penis, like, freaking me out. I know that that, I know that people, I don't know, but I, oh, okay, I gotta move on. None of these are really relevant to us. Hang on. I stole my coworker's jewel and gaslighted her into thinking it was missing and she wanted me to turn around to look for it. So when we were already late for work, so I said, no, she jumped out of the moving car.

• 51:25Brooke Averick?

  Wait.

• 51:26Speaker 02

  I don't know that.

• 51:27Brooke Averick?

You're carpooling with your coworker to work?

• 51:30Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 51:30Brooke Averick?

  Start over.

• 51:32Speaker 02

I stole my coworker's jewel and gaslighted her into thinking it was missing and then she wanted me to turn around to look for it and we were already late for work. So I said no. So she jumped out of the moving car.

• 51:44Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 51:44Speaker 02

That's why you need to, yeah, that's why you need to quit with Jones, which is a sponsor of this podcast and I'm wearing their sock.

• 51:50Brooke Averick?

  Are you?

• 51:52Speaker 02

Yeah, they're cozy. Look at how cool and look at their like.

• 51:54Brooke Averick?

How did you get Joan's socks?

• 51:57Brooke Averick?

Oh my God, I have Joan's socks too. That's amazing.

• 52:02Speaker 02

Yeah, I think you're, if you're, if you're putting yourself in harm's way to hit your, hit a jewel.

• 52:06Brooke Averick?

Yeah, speak to a larger issue.

• 52:07Speaker 02

Really, truly, that's a, that's a sit down, come to Jesus moment.

• 52:10Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 52:11Speaker 02

Like that should be your last day with the jewel, unfortunately.

• 52:13Brooke Averick?

  I, I think so. I also, I realize I'm addicted to weed.

• 52:21Speaker 02

  Really?

• 52:22Brooke Averick?

Yeah, cause I've been trying to stop and I can't, which is actually like not a good feeling at all.

• 52:29Speaker 02

Yeah, I remember Jake, Jake Shane quit weed and he loved.

• 52:32Brooke Averick?

Oh, my mom's calling me. Now I don't really want to talk about my booger couch.

• 52:35Speaker 02

  Let's just do it.

• 52:38Brooke Averick?

  Hey, mom.

• 52:40Speaker 04

  Hang on.

• 52:40Brooke Averick?

  You're, you're on the podcast.

• 52:43Speaker 04

  Oh.

• 52:45Speaker 02

  Hi.

• 52:46Brooke Averick?

Do you remember when I was young and confessed my booger hideout to you?

• 52:52Speaker 04

  Ugh, yeah.

• 52:54Brooke Averick?

  That's it.

• 52:55Speaker 02

  What was that like?

• 52:56Brooke Averick?

Oh, what was that like for you? Like, can you walk us through your experience?

• 53:02Speaker 04

  Um.

• 53:05Speaker 04

You have the same hideout remember, uh, memory as I do?

• 53:10Brooke Averick?

I don't know. Just tell us what it was like for you.

• 53:14Speaker 04

  Well,

• 53:17Speaker 04

I came in and I asked you

• 53:22Speaker 04

if you picked your nose or what you were do- or something about picking your nose. And said, yeah. And I said, what do you do with them after you eat them? And you said, I eat them.

• 53:37Brooke Averick?

Okay, this is different. That's different than what I remember. So that's not at all what I remember. So let's just call it a wash.

• 53:47Speaker 04

  Which one do you remember?

• 53:50Speaker 02

  Oh, my God.

• 53:52Brooke Averick?

I thought, I told you I wiped them on the couch.

• 53:56Speaker 04

Well, you, you might have done that, but I remember specifically the eating one.

• 54:02Brooke Averick?

  Okay, cool. Thank you.

• 54:06Speaker 02

  Bye, Mom.

• 54:06Brooke Averick?

All good. It's not live, so.

• 54:11Speaker 04

I don't remember what, I mean, I'm sure that you did wipe them on the couch, but I don't remember having a reaction to that.

• 54:17Brooke Averick?

  No worries. Thank you.

• 54:21Brooke Averick?

  Bye.

• 54:23Speaker 02

  Bye.

• 54:24Brooke Averick?

  So I don't remember that?

• 54:26Speaker 02

Well, no, you don't need to. You were four. I eat them.

• 54:28Brooke Averick?

That sounded like I was a lot younger.

• 54:31Speaker 02

That was like Fred Armisen level, I'm a baby. I eat them. I'm a baby.

• 54:37Brooke Averick?

Do we have to cut that?

• 54:39Speaker 02

No, we have, that is like, that's like something that is the magic of what we do is like that, some stuff like that can.

• 54:46Brooke Averick?

I must, wait, I, I must have been like two.

• 54:50Speaker 02

Just shoot her a text and ask what, how old she thinks you were.

• 54:54Brooke Averick?

  How old was I?

• 54:56Speaker 02

  When I was.

• 54:57Brooke Averick?

  When I was eating

• 55:00Brooke Averick?

  them?

• 55:04Brooke Averick?

  I eat them. Oh, cool.

• 55:06Speaker 02

I eat them. Great. It was so good to catch up.

• 55:08Brooke Averick?

  Oh, nice. Bye.

• 55:12Brooke Averick?

Um, not my memory. It must have been because I was so young. I don't remember it.

• 55:17Speaker 02

Right. And you were so full, too, probably. Okay. A girl from my high school named her baby my exact first and last name. It's my Instagram handle and it's what everyone from high school knew me as. When my boyfriend showed me her post and said, OMG, she named her baby first and last. I looked up her Instagram and realized that she had blocked me. So I wouldn't see that she named her baby after me.

• 55:41Brooke Averick?

Wait, did she make your last name the middle name of the baby?

• 55:48Speaker 02

  It looks like that, yeah.

• 55:53Brooke Averick?

My mom said I was three.

• 55:55Speaker 02

  Okay, cool.

• 55:56Brooke Averick?

Yeah, that's fine to do when you're three.

• 55:58Speaker 02

  It was a different time.

• 55:59Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I was in a crib, she said. So that's fine to do when you're in a crib.

• 56:05Speaker 02

Yeah, when you're in a crib, all the rules are off.

• 56:09Brooke Averick?

I completely agreed. Sorry, I'm still thinking about that.

• 56:13Speaker 02

  It's okay.

• 56:13Brooke Averick?

It's crazy that's the same person.

• 56:16Speaker 02

It's not like from over here.

• 56:18Brooke Averick?

I eat them is the same as this classy woman with bangs.

• 56:22Speaker 02

  Right. That's growth.

• 56:25Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, that's on growth.

• 56:26Speaker 02

That's on growth and bangs and being different and nuanced now.

• 56:30Brooke Averick?

  You, people can change.

• 56:32Speaker 02

  People can change.

• 56:36Speaker 02

When they have access to other things to eat.

• 56:40Brooke Averick?

  I was hungry.

• 56:42Speaker 02

  Ew.

• 56:44Brooke Averick?

  Connor.

• 56:44Speaker 02

  That's so crazy, girl.

• 56:47Brooke Averick?

I'm sure you ate your boogers when you were three.

• 56:49Speaker 02

  I promise you I didn't, but I.

• 56:50Brooke Averick?

  No, you did.

• 56:51Speaker 02

I promise I didn't. I did not do that because my mom scared me about like, my mom is good at putting the fear of stuff like that in your mind and it stays with you forever. However, I learned later on from my aunt that she was, she would eat her scat.

• 57:08Brooke Averick?

  You say aunt?

• 57:09Speaker 02

  Aunt.

• 57:11Brooke Averick?

Wait, sorry, you learned from your aunt that she would eat what?

• 57:13Speaker 02

That my mom would eat, pick her scabs off and eat her scabs.

• 57:15Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 57:17Speaker 02

  Which is-

• 57:18Brooke Averick?

That's gross, that's much grosser to me than eating your boogers. Because boogers come from the, um, same system.

• 57:26Speaker 02

No, no one should be eating scabs or boogers. I think we-

• 57:29Brooke Averick?

I'm saying it's less gross to eat your boogers because it comes from the same place.

• 57:36Speaker 02

  I just, I don't wanna, I don't want either of them-

• 57:38Brooke Averick?

Scabs, I guess, what goes in must come out. What goes out must go back in.

• 57:43Speaker 02

It's not gonna kill you, but I don't think it's necessarily gonna make you stronger.

• 57:46Brooke Averick?

  It's good for you.

• 57:49Brooke Averick?

  Protein.

• 57:49Speaker 02

  Raise your glass.

• 57:50Brooke Averick?

  I bet boogers are protein.

• 57:54Speaker 02

Okay, so what do we think about this young woman in this predicament where someone has named their first, first and last baby?

• 57:59Brooke Averick?

That's freakish that she blocked you.

• 58:01Speaker 02

It's, it's freakish. I, I've never had a baby. But naming, name, in terms of namesake, you do assume some, sort of like, hang on. It's not illegal to do.

• 58:17Brooke Averick?

No, it's just, it's just odd.

• 58:18Speaker 02

  It's weird.

• 58:19Brooke Averick?

  But honestly, like if I,

• 58:23Brooke Averick?

if there was someone's name from my high school that I was like so obsessed with, and it was like, you know what?

• 58:27Speaker 02

  A message?

• 58:28Brooke Averick?

This is gonna be my kid for the rest of my life and like this girl from high school means enough, like I don't know her, like I'll, I am gonna take the name and it, that's it. Like it doesn't have any effect on you or me moving forward. But if it was someone I knew well, I wouldn't. And I also wouldn't have blocked the girl from high school though. That's the weird part.

• 58:47Speaker 02

No, I would have shot them a message, but like this is so weird.

• 58:50Brooke Averick?

I think I would have messaged them, yeah.

• 58:51Speaker 02

Always loved your name. We are gonna name our baby that.

• 58:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 58:54Speaker 02

Actually, maybe I wouldn't. Maybe I'd block her. Hmm.

• 58:59Brooke Averick?

I wouldn't block her because like it's gonna get back to her.

• 59:03Speaker 02

Yeah, but she's not affected by it. It's, again, it's not illegal.

• 59:07Brooke Averick?

I think the blocking is weird, but also like, if you guys aren't in contact and she just really liked your name, like that's fine for her to do. It affects no one. But the blocking is weird.

• 59:21Speaker 02

  I agree.

• 59:22Brooke Averick?

Okay, I had one family drama one.

• 59:25Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 59:28Brooke Averick?

Um, a little over a year ago, my, oh wait.

• 59:36Brooke Averick?

Okay, a little over a year ago, my grandma passed away. She was the best person on this planet. My uncle, 57 years old, has lived in her house rent-free for about 14 years. He now pays utilities like water, electric, and chip because my grandma isn't here to pay it for him anymore. So here's why I'm pissed. In her will, it states that when she died, her house was supposed to be sold and divided into three for my mom and two uncles. He has completely destroyed the house, like hoarders type shit. It's so sad because I have so many memories there. Um, he drives a 2022 Corvette. Why? Because he has perfect credit because he hasn't had bills in over a decade. I want you to put yourself in my mom and other uncle's position. Could you kick your sibling out? Because you'd think he'd have savings, but nah.

• 1:00:24Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:00:24Brooke Averick?

You could kick your sibling out?

• 1:00:27Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:00:27Brooke Averick?

I think I could too, like with pretty limited issues.

• 1:00:32Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:00:35Speaker 02

  See ya.

• 1:00:35Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Okay. Because that's like not a normal thing to do.

• 1:00:41Speaker 02

No, it's disrespectful. Um, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, if it's in the will, there's a legal-

• 1:00:48Brooke Averick?

And when it belongs to the three of you.

• 1:00:50Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:00:51Brooke Averick?

Or he needs to buy them out.

• 1:00:54Speaker 02

Yeah, there's like, this is not even a question. It's gonna, that will be the end of their relationship probably until they die, just thinking about that.

• 1:01:00Brooke Averick?

That's randomly the plot of so many movies.

• 1:01:03Speaker 02

  What?

• 1:01:04Brooke Averick?

The house is left to multiple siblings and then one sibling lives there and like hordes? And then the other siblings are like, you need to get out?

• 1:01:14Speaker 02

I have not heard of a single movie like that.

• 1:01:16Brooke Averick?

Definitely Hello, My Name Is Doris. That's like the exact plot.

• 1:01:21Speaker 02

  I've never heard of that.

• 1:01:22Brooke Averick?

That's the one with Sally Field and Schmidt. Is it Field or Fields?

• 1:01:28Brooke Averick?

Field. That's one with Sally Field and Schmidt.

• 1:01:31Speaker 02

  Oh, is it good?

• 1:01:32Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 1:01:33Speaker 02

I want to see that. Oh, I'll watch it.

• 1:01:35Brooke Averick?

I love it. Um, but yeah, she's hoarding in her mom's house. And I feel like it's a, there are other movies where there are siblings that are like, you need to get out.

• 1:01:44Speaker 02

Um, the, the show that I watched that I love and I, no one will ever watch it. I can't get anybody to watch it. It's so weird. The gentleman. It's plural gentleman. Look, that's a perfect example of woman versus women is the gentleman. Like there's not no plural and singular. That's the same word.

• 1:02:06Brooke Averick?

  How's it spelled?

• 1:02:07Speaker 02

  Gentleman.

• 1:02:08Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, the gentleman.

• 1:02:10Speaker 02

Gentlemen, but like ladies and gentlemen.

• 1:02:13Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, wait.

• 1:02:14Speaker 02

  You don't say gentleman.

• 1:02:15Brooke Averick?

I feel like you would say gentleman for both.

• 1:02:19Speaker 02

There was a, there's, there's one gentleman at my door.

• 1:02:21Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, you would say men.

• 1:02:23Speaker 02

And there's several gentlemen across the street.

• 1:02:24Brooke Averick?

  In for both.

• 1:02:25Speaker 02

  That's weird.

• 1:02:26Brooke Averick?

It's both for gentlemen and different for women and woman.

• 1:02:31Speaker 02

Another double standard that women have to deal with in the workplace.

• 1:02:34Brooke Averick?

  100%. That's sick.

• 1:02:37Speaker 02

It's, this is not it either. This is not it. Deo James is the main person in it.

• 1:02:45Brooke Averick?

So many people have watched that show.

• 1:02:49Brooke Averick?

  This one's plural.

• 1:02:50Speaker 02

  Yeah, the gentleman.

• 1:02:52Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:02:53Speaker 02

  That show is so good.

• 1:02:56Brooke Averick?

Cause you wouldn't say gentleman for singular.

• 1:03:00Speaker 02

  No, you wouldn't.

• 1:03:00Brooke Averick?

But what's weird is for woman and women, you're changing the first vowel.

• 1:03:07Brooke Averick?

  And the second.

• 1:03:10Brooke Averick?

  Cause you're never saying gentleman.

• 1:03:13Speaker 02

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:03:16Speaker 02

Did you watch I Love L.A. yet?

• 1:03:18Brooke Averick?

No. I don't think I need to. Cause it's like so close to home.

• 1:03:28Speaker 02

It's just like a TV show, like another TV show.

• 1:03:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:03:32Speaker 02

But I was, um, I guess I was in the minority of people that really liked it. Or like enjoyed it.

• 1:03:39Brooke Averick?

I feel like I haven't heard too much, but maybe I'll watch eventually.

• 1:03:44Speaker 02

I told people that I liked it and they said, are you fucking serious? And it actually, I don't know if they'll respect my, my opinions on stuff anymore. That's like how little they liked it.

• 1:03:54Brooke Averick?

  Who?

• 1:03:56Speaker 02

  Maggie and Xavier.

• 1:03:57Brooke Averick?

  Oh, really?

• 1:03:58Speaker 02

  Who are with? Yeah.

• 1:04:01Brooke Averick?

  Maybe I'll watch.

• 1:04:03Speaker 02

Maybe, you, maybe you should. Um, just like, maybe it's so close to home that it could be like, oh, interesting. It's like the influencers of it all.

• 1:04:13Brooke Averick?

I know. I feel like I just like live it. So it's like, I don't need to consume it in TV form too.

• 1:04:18Speaker 02

  I know.

• 1:04:19Brooke Averick?

But I, maybe I will when I'm done girls.

• 1:04:22Speaker 02

It's very nuanced. I'm being serious. Like that is like a word that I would use to describe it too.

• 1:04:27Brooke Averick?

  There's no way.

• 1:04:28Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:04:31Brooke Averick?

Are there like different characters and shit?

• 1:04:34Speaker 02

Yeah. Which kind of makes it different.

• 1:04:37Brooke Averick?

Wow. Maybe I will watch it.

• 1:04:39Speaker 02

  It's an ensemble.

• 1:04:41Brooke Averick?

Holy shit. And they have like different personalities.

• 1:04:44Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:04:44Brooke Averick?

Okay. I will, I'll, I'll watch that shit.

• 1:04:46Speaker 02

I think it is based off of Rachel Sinets with experiences.

• 1:04:48Brooke Averick?

This is where I'm like, you're fucking kidding. There's no way.

• 1:04:52Speaker 02

Better believe it darling. Um, okay. So here's the deal with what's happening right now.

• 1:04:58Brooke Averick?

  You have to make.

• 1:05:00Speaker 02

  No. Ew, Brooke.

• 1:05:02Brooke Averick?

  That could be P.

• 1:05:04Speaker 02

I don't have to do anything, but what I want to do is head down this hall. Check on a few, a few outstanding items, housekeeping items that I have.

• 1:05:16Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:17Speaker 02

And then I want to hop into bonus and I want to discuss something very top secret with you.

• 1:05:22Brooke Averick?

  Okay. That sounds good.

• 1:05:23Speaker 02

Cause I got a, I got a big week. If, if anyone coming to the New York show, leave everything you thought you knew about me at the door because it is my last show. I am going to rock out with my out.

• 1:05:35Brooke Averick?

Oh, you're going to be the W.

• 1:05:37Speaker 02

  Yep.

• 1:05:39Brooke Averick?

All right. Looking forward to hearing about it.

• 1:05:41Speaker 02

Oh, yeah. All right. Well, I'll see you guys in the bonus.

• 1:05:46Brooke Averick?

  Bye. See you then.

• 1:05:47Speaker 02

Thank you so much, everybody, for listening and writing.

• 1:05:48Brooke Averick?

Sorry about all the booger stuff.

• 1:05:50Speaker 02

I mean, it's just like, that is what it is. Everybody poops. We'll see you in the bonus. If you're coming, if you're not, you know where the door, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

• 1:06:01Brooke Averick?

That was a situation, and I've done this a lot of times before, where I say something that's like, not funny, and then it's like, let's talk about it for a really long time, until it becomes funny and it doesn't. So, let's head out.

• 1:06:14Speaker 02

  What?

• 1:06:15Brooke Averick?

  Booger.

• 1:06:17Brooke Averick?

  Gate, Booger Gate 2020.

• 1:06:18Speaker 02

You just brought it up again. You just brought it up, Booger Gate.

• 1:06:20Brooke Averick?

I know. Sometimes I do that. I can't let something go, like, the first time I mention it and it doesn't get the reaction I want, it has to keep coming back.

• 1:06:28Speaker 02

Yeah, like, no, you don't understand.

• 1:06:29Brooke Averick?

Until something bad has happened. Like, I eat them.

• 1:06:32Speaker 02

  Yeah. I eat them.

• 1:06:35Brooke Averick?

  So.

• 1:06:36Speaker 02

When I worked, that's like when I was interviewing to work at Bird, and I kept saying, in the interviews, like, "Oh, I was hit by a car on a bird. Isn't that funny?" And no one ever laughed. And then I learned later, they're like, in so many hundreds of lawsuits, because people get hurt, like, hit by cars every single day on birds, and it's like, very serious topic, which, obviously, you got hit by a car, but like, I shouldn't be saying that in my second, third round interview for a job.

• 1:06:59Brooke Averick?

  Sure.

• 1:06:59Speaker 02

But I meant, like, endearingly, I'm like, I still want to work here, even though I was smashed to bits.

• 1:07:04Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:07:05Speaker 02

Anyways, we'll let you guys go.

• 1:07:07Brooke Averick?

And you guys know mine, most importantly, as a classy woman. So, let's just call it, and I'll see you in the bonus.

• 1:07:14Speaker 02

  See ya.

• 1:07:14Brooke Averick?

  Bye.

• 1:07:15Speaker 02

  I eat them.

• 1:07:20Brooke Averick?

Lord, help me. I pray for peace.

• 1:07:33Speaker 01
