Live in LA with Will Ferrell, Alex Morgan, Kelley O'Hara, Myles Garrett & Andrew Whitworth | EP 195

92%ers, welcome to another episode of New Heights live from Los Angeles! On this very special episode, we are joined by Will Ferrell to get his take on all things LA, why he’s taking over golf with “The Hawk,” and we’ll see if he can finally help Jason dunk a basketball. We’ve also got US Women’s Soccer legends, Alex Morgan and Kelley O’Hara! We get their take on the US hosting the World Cup, what it’s really like to play for the national team, and they’ll take some penalty kicks against maybe the greatest center turned goalie in US Soccer history. And finally, we’re in the Rams house, so we had to get our guy, Andrew Whitworth, and the newest LA Ram, Myles Garrett, to stop by. We find out how Myles feels about the trade, what he’s looking forward to in LA, relive some of his best highlights, maybe find out if he’s got anyone else coming to join him on the d-line, and so much more! Thank you again to all the incredible 92%ers that made it out to the show! We’ll see you at the next one. To realize the future America needs, we understand what's needed from us to face each threat head on. We've earned our place in the fight for our nation's future. We are Marines. We were made for this.

Thank you to our sponsor, Colgate Total.

On offense, it's important to prevent problems from the moment the ball is snapped.

• 0:22Travis Kelce?

That's true. Otherwise, you're just out there running cardio. Can't get open for a big play.

• 0:28Speaker 02

But it's not just football. There's a lot of things you need to prevent before they start.

• 0:32Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, like in your mouth.

• 0:34Speaker 02

  My mouth specifically?

• 0:36Travis Kelce?

I mean, probably yours too, but I'm talking everybody's mouth. There's bacteria in there that can lead to oral health problems like cavities, gingivitis.

• 0:47Speaker 02

Right. Yeah, all the nasty stuff. But the good news is you can prevent these problems before they start with Colgate Total Active Prevention. It's like having a good offensive line for your mouth.

• 0:58Travis Kelce?

Ooh, exactly. With twice daily brushing, Colgate Total prevents oral health problems like cavities and gingivitis.

• 1:06Speaker 02

And it's not just one contributing player either. It's a whole system. Toothpaste, mouthwash, and a special toothbrush.

• 1:14Travis Kelce?

Now that's the squad you want fighting for your mouth.

• 1:16Speaker 02

Colgate Total is like having a full playbook in your bathroom, working to help prevent oral health problems before they start.

  Myles Garrett.

• 1:58Travis Kelce?

  Myles Garrett.

• 2:02Speaker 02

Well, there's another guy that moved from Ohio and won a Super Bowl when he came out to LA and he's sitting right next to you.

• 2:07Travis Kelce?

You're playing basketball. I mean, I would just be like, what is happening?

• 2:11Speaker 02

This is Miles when he was in high school.

• 2:13Travis Kelce?

  Shut up.

• 2:17Travis Kelce?

Oh, what is this? I didn't sign up for this.

• 2:24Travis Kelce?

Come on, I was told there's a Japanese maple out here. Where's it?

• 4:33Speaker 02

He is a beautiful maple. Oh, God. Oh, God, dangerous. Great toss. Great toss. That's a great toss. That looks just like Jason with the shirt on. I thought it would add to the feng shui.

• 4:50Speaker 02

We are your hosts. I'm Travis Kelce. I'm my big brother Jason Kelce. We love you guys for showing up. Showing out. We got a fun, fun episode for you. Appreciate you guys bringing the juice early. Um, Jason, you want to tell the people what we got coming up? Guys, we have an incredible show lined up. First of all, thank you so much. How about the Orpheum? How about this, look, everybody? It's freaking sick! Are you kidding me? This is incredible. Thank you all for coming. We have probably the funniest person on the planet as one of our guests. Uh, we also have World Cup royalty in the building. That's right. Loyalty. Go USA! Um, as well as, I don't know, do we have any football fans out there?

• 5:30Speaker 02

Do we have any Rams fans out there? Oh, all right, we got a little surprise. I see the red and the green in here. Let's see if we can get some blue going. We got some good football stuff as well, some good football guests. Oh, and you might notice the soccer goal and the basketball hoop. Well, we're gonna get to that in a minute. We got some fun activities lined up. But first, we're gonna get to a little bit of that.

• 5:52Speaker 02

God, these people get it. We got some 92 percenters in this motherfucker.

• 5:58Speaker 02

  Again, please, earmuffs, kids.

• 6:01Travis Kelce?

If you were wondering why they sent two jabronis like us to Los Angeles for the FIFA World Cup, we have a picture to show you guys where all this originated.

• 6:11Travis Kelce?

  Look at that.

• 6:12Speaker 02

Man, those DMOS were not developed.

• 6:15Travis Kelce?

Sniper on the roof. Sniper on the roof. Jason, before Instagram was a legit thing, had the pose down perfect.

• 6:24Speaker 02

  That's right, that's right.

• 6:25Travis Kelce?

  Yep. He knew, he knew.

• 6:26Speaker 02

  This is pre-social media.

• 6:27Travis Kelce?

  Hand on the knee.

• 6:30Speaker 02

This was very George Washington-esque, going across Delaware.

• 6:34Travis Kelce?

And yes, our dad did take this photo. This is in our living room, so shout out to mom for the nice wallpaper background, and shout out to big Ed Kelsey capturing those memories as kids.

• 6:53Travis Kelce?

  Oh, mama!

• 6:54Speaker 02

  Also, yeah.

• 6:56Travis Kelce?

We got, we got mama telling us about it.

• 6:59Speaker 02

Come on, mom, stand up, come on, mom!

• 7:02Speaker 02

  Hey! Who doesn't love mama?

• 7:06Travis Kelce?

This place got louder for you, mom!

• 7:11Travis Kelce?

Uncle Don and Joan, we got them all in the house. That's good. Thank you for the photo, mom.

• 7:17Speaker 02

Old East Side kickers, really happy you got that photo over to the team, mom. Appreciate it. We also have, it's also not our first time in LA. Last year, I was on an assignment out here, working for ESPN, and I had a mishap down at Venice Beach. We have some footage.

• 7:34Travis Kelce?

  Oh, God.

• 7:34Speaker 02

  I sat.

• 7:35Travis Kelce?

A mishap? I sat down and just felt a wetness. I don't know what it is, and I think that that's the

• 7:41Speaker 02

  thing that's more concerning.

• 7:42Travis Kelce?

  Oh, what the?

• 7:44Speaker 02

  That didn't come to me!

• 7:47Travis Kelce?

Oh, you guys, you Los Angelans have seen this every day of your lives, but I don't see this often.

• 7:54Speaker 02

I was about to say, I think I got the authentic Venice Beach experience. That's what I feel like.

• 7:59Travis Kelce?

Well, you gotta, you gotta get some context.

• 8:01Speaker 02

Rest assured, we are within 80% confidence that it was a mango smoothie.

• 8:07Travis Kelce?

  I don't know, man. I don't know. I've seen a mango smoothie, man.

• 8:10Speaker 02

I also maybe just talked myself into that. That was a very unfortunate mishap.

• 8:17Speaker 02

Also, by the way, those white things are showers. I didn't even know that at the time. I went straight to the sink.

• 8:25Speaker 02

God knows what that guy back there is thinking.

• 8:29Travis Kelce?

Just another day in the park, it looks like.

• 8:33Speaker 02

  Standard Wednesday.

• 8:38Travis Kelce?

Well, that's absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully, our time here is a little bit better than your mango smoothie situation. Last bit of new news, when New Heights premieres our fifth season next September, we will officially, thank you. Thank you. It's crazy already. Five, five years of this thing, man. We're gonna be starting this thing up. We're excited for what the new year has for us, but it'll be, uh, we'll officially hit our 200th episode.

• 9:03Travis Kelce?

It was nuts hitting the, uh, the 100 mark and 200, uh, seems pretty fucking nuts.

• 9:08Speaker 02

It's wild. It really is. It feels like we just started this, you know, what, three years ago? It feels like we just started yesterday and, um, now we're doing it in front of a crowd like this. It's really remarkable. It's crazy how far it's come.

• 9:20Travis Kelce?

You guys make this a dream we could have ever even dreamt, and we really do appreciate you guys. You guys wanna see what it looked like on our first episode, just trying to get our, I figured, you see what?

• 9:30Speaker 02

You guys are always asking for outtakes. Here we go.

• 9:32Travis Kelce?

This is, this was the outtake right here. All right now.

• 9:37Speaker 02

  Yo, yo.

• 9:38Travis Kelce?

Let's see. Let's give it a run here, big guy.

• 9:41Speaker 02

  All right. You taking it?

• 9:43Travis Kelce?

  Let's take it, um.

• 9:45Speaker 02

Real quick, I know we're already recording. How do we do these? Are you guys queuing up these questions or are we asking these to each other? Sorry to already stop. So ask the question, other person answers, then you answer the question. I'll do odds. Trav, you're on evens. Good luck.

• 10:00Travis Kelce?

All right. You want me to, you want me to just knock out the whole thing, Jason?

• 10:04Speaker 02

Listen, everybody's tuning in for you, so just do the open and I'll be here to support you like always.

• 10:11Travis Kelce?

All right, man. All right. I just gotta remember all this shit, uh.

• 10:15Speaker 02

  Just read it.

• 10:16Travis Kelce?

All right. You ready? Welcome, welcome, welcome to New Heights. And what are we doing?

• 10:23Travis Kelce?

Man, I just had to get that first one out the way. Let's, let's, let's. All right, um, and then we're going into we are your hosts.

• 10:29Speaker 02

  That's the hard line.

• 10:31Travis Kelce?

  Who are we again?

• 10:32Speaker 02

  Um, Jason Kelce.

• 10:35Travis Kelce?

  Let's get it.

• 10:36Speaker 02

You think it was good? I wish I would have been, whatever. All right.

• 10:40Travis Kelce?

Dude, are you kidding me? It was, it was, it was awesome.

• 10:45Travis Kelce?

You fucking get out of your fucking head, kid. All right?

• 10:55Speaker 02

And look at us now. How about that? We're live, baby. Way less gray beard, too.

• 11:03Speaker 02

Absolutely hilarious. It's crazy to see where it's coming. Boy, do we have a good one for you tonight. Yes, we do. Yes, we do. Should we just start it with our first guest, Trev?

• 11:11Speaker 04

I think we need to get this thing rocking.

• 11:17Speaker 02

You guys are in for a doozy. Our first guest is six foot three actor, writer, and producer from the University of Southern California. He's got three Primetime Emmys, two ESPYS, a Spike TV's Gotcha Short Award for Funniest Mofo, the Mark Twain Prize for Humor, and he also won the 2022 MLS Cup for your LAFC.

• 11:40Speaker 04

  Oh, yeah.

• 11:41Speaker 02

You know him. From his seven seasons on SNL, anchorman, talent, and idol. So, my boy.

• 11:47Speaker 02

  Please welcome.

• 11:50Speaker 02

  Let's go, welcome.

• 12:06Speaker 02

  Take that, David.

• 12:11Speaker 04

  Upper deck.

• 12:13Speaker 02

  Upper deck.

• 12:14Speaker 04

  Oh.

• 12:15Speaker 02

That has some kick. That has some kick.

• 12:20Speaker 02

This should drive you right in the middle. Absolutely.

• 12:25Speaker 02

  Oh, right there.

• 12:29Speaker 02

That thing has some kick on it.

• 12:30Speaker 05

Yeah, that had a lot of kick on that.

• 12:33Speaker 02

  Crank those.

• 12:34Speaker 05

Look at this. How's that one going? Wow.

• 12:39Speaker 05

Look, wait. Two shitheads from Fifth Avenue.

• 12:45Speaker 05

  And you guys built this.

• 12:46Speaker 02

This is insane. And you're here.

• 12:49Speaker 05

For all these other shitheads. Which I am one of those shitheads.

• 12:56Speaker 04

  Let's go.

• 12:58Travis Kelce?

If you build this, they will come.

• 13:01Speaker 05

It's the only time any of these people will ever come to live theater.

• 13:08Speaker 05

  Right?

• 13:08Travis Kelce?

This is a bit of a classy situation.

• 13:11Speaker 05

This is a classy joint. Did you guys realize it was gonna be such a classy joint?

• 13:13Travis Kelce?

I don't think the Orpheum Theater knew what they were getting into.

• 13:16Speaker 02

No, no. Hopefully we get them back.

• 13:18Speaker 05

Were you guys into plays at high school at all? Did you high school theater?

• 13:22Speaker 02

Um, I did not. I did.

• 13:23Speaker 05

You guys would have been amazing.

• 13:25Speaker 02

I would have loved to, honestly. We were just playing sports. I did do swim cadets.

• 13:29Speaker 05

Oh, swim? Was that like synchronized swimming?

• 13:31Speaker 02

  It was synchronized swimming.

• 13:32Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 13:32Speaker 02

  And they would recruit.

• 13:34Travis Kelce?

  Male cadets, yeah.

• 13:35Speaker 02

  They recruit guy cadets.

• 13:36Speaker 05

They have a military component as well?

• 13:39Speaker 02

A little bit. The woman who ran it was very militaristic.

• 13:41Speaker 05

  Yeah, yeah.

• 13:42Speaker 02

Uh, very militant. But they would recruit guy cadets and we would run skits in between while the ladies were setting up for their next show. So me and my buddies just go out there on this pool deck and we'd be messing around.

• 13:52Speaker 05

  Swim cadets.

• 13:53Speaker 02

  Yes, yes.

• 13:54Speaker 05

You guys gotta bring that back.

• 13:55Travis Kelce?

You should see this guy in a Speedo.

• 13:57Speaker 05

  Oh.

• 13:58Speaker 02

We don't need to bring that back. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

• 14:00Speaker 05

I'm not afraid to rock a Speedo. Did you, anyone rock a Speedo down in Venice when you were down there?

• 14:05Speaker 02

  Oh, yeah. Tons of Speedos.

• 14:10Speaker 02

  Look great, too.

• 14:11Speaker 05

Yeah, they look great. They're very aerodynamic.

• 14:16Speaker 05

It's funny, af, the key to a Speedo, after three minutes, you forget you have a Speedo on. It's fantastic. Yeah.

• 14:23Travis Kelce?

  Those three minutes.

• 14:24Speaker 05

Those three minutes is torture. Lot of looks.

• 14:27Travis Kelce?

  Just mental torture.

• 14:28Speaker 05

Lot of looks. I got, I had a buddy who's for his 50th birthday party, he had, he did a, like a three day party. And it was, it was near the ocean. I, I brought a Speedo. I changed Speedos every three hours. So I'd, I'd come out in a different Speedo.

• 14:46Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 14:47Speaker 05

And it divided people on a comedy line.

• 14:50Speaker 02

  Oh, interesting.

• 14:50Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 14:51Speaker 02

  Who's into it?

• 14:52Speaker 05

Half, half the crowd was like, that is the funniest thing I've ever seen. Keep the Speedos coming. Other people were like, please stop.

• 15:01Speaker 05

  Please, stop. We get it.

• 15:03Travis Kelce?

Does the three minutes of the Speedo, does it happen every time you put on a new Speedo?

• 15:08Speaker 05

No, it's just about the first Speedo. You can break the seal, you're good to go.

• 15:15Travis Kelce?

Dude, you've had a crazy, crazy year, brother.

• 15:18Speaker 05

  Look at that.

• 15:21Travis Kelce?

We got a little bit of a sport court up here. We got a sport court going on up here. Dude, you've had a big summer. You've had a huge summer. Obviously, we've seen you at the Kings games, the Lakers games. Talladega Nights is 20th year anniversary.

• 15:36Speaker 02

  Hosting the season finale, SNL.

• 15:38Travis Kelce?

Season finale, SNL, oh my gosh.

• 15:43Travis Kelce?

Are you the busiest man in Hollywood?

• 15:45Speaker 05

Uh, no. Not even, not even close. No.

• 15:49Travis Kelce?

Where does New Heights rank among the busiest?

• 15:51Speaker 05

  This is, this is...

• 15:54Travis Kelce?

  Are we up there?

• 15:55Speaker 05

New Heights, you guys are definitely up there.

• 15:57Travis Kelce?

  Yeah!

• 15:58Speaker 05

You guys are definitely up there.

• 16:00Travis Kelce?

  He's a people pleaser.

• 16:01Speaker 05

No, I make it look like I'm busy, but I got, I got plenty of time. Yeah. More cowbell.

• 16:10Speaker 02

How does it feel, the 20th anniversary of Talladega Nights coming up? What does that look like?

• 16:14Speaker 05

Uh, that, that feels like it went by in the blink of an eye. It's kind of incredible to have a film like that, you know, resonate with so many people and, Talladega Nights was a knee jerk reaction to how hard Anchorman got, was to get made.

• 16:33Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 16:33Speaker 05

No one wanted to make that movie. And I said to Adam, my writing partner, I said, "Gosh, we should just pick a topic that's really popular and just build something like, for instance, like, everyone loves NASCAR. We should just write a NASCAR comedy."

• 16:48Speaker 02

  Let's just go.

• 16:49Speaker 05

He called me back five minutes, he's like, "That's not a bad idea." And that, we sold that in two seconds and then, I mean, two guys who knew nothing about motorsports, and we write the seminal movie on NASCAR.

• 17:03Travis Kelce?

It seemed like you knew everything about NASCAR.

• 17:05Speaker 05

We were surrounded by a lot of good people.

• 17:07Speaker 02

I was at Talladega this year and it was, you know, all over the place.

• 17:10Speaker 05

  It's crazy, right?

• 17:11Speaker 02

It's absolutely crazy. The Boulevard, everything down there.

• 17:14Speaker 05

Did you drive, did you, uh, drive a car?

• 17:17Speaker 02

I handed gas cans in. I drove a car at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

• 17:19Travis Kelce?

  Jason won a championship.

• 17:21Speaker 02

  I did win a race.

• 17:23Speaker 05

  You did?

• 17:23Speaker 02

Well, Corey Day technically won the race, but I was a part of the team.

• 17:27Speaker 05

But you were the gas man?

• 17:28Speaker 02

I was the back, I was the handoff to the gas man.

• 17:33Travis Kelce?

Will, he had a onesie on.

• 17:35Speaker 05

But did he dedicate his win to you?

• 17:37Speaker 02

He did. He actually insisted that I keep coming back and I unfortunately had to retire immediately, but...

• 17:43Speaker 05

By the way, when we were rehearsing for the movie, we were like, okay, we want this to be as real as possible. So we did pit crew training.

• 17:49Speaker 02

So that was gonna be my question.

• 17:51Speaker 05

And I was, because Ricky Bobby was a jack man.

• 17:55Speaker 02

  That's an underrated job.

• 17:56Speaker 05

Underrated. So hard. And all the guys who are tire changers, they were looking for defensive backs, college football players.

• 18:05Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 18:05Speaker 05

Because you have to be super fast, strong, move around quickly. I was like, this is the hardest thing. What are we doing?

• 18:13Speaker 02

Absolutely. I think now on the monologue, they want to change four tires, refuel the car, do all of that in under nine seconds, which is just like mind blowing to think about. And they're each doing different.

• 18:26Speaker 05

And with you, it's more like 25 seconds?

• 18:28Speaker 02

I think it was nine seconds for me to hand the gas can.

• 18:32Speaker 05

And spilled a lot of gas.

• 18:34Speaker 02

Oh, all the tires are on the wheel already?

• 18:37Speaker 05

  It's an incredibly hard thing.

• 18:40Speaker 02

The dedication those guys have, and like you just said, many of them are like former collegiate athletes, football players. They have coaches that are coaching them and watching the footage with them. It's pretty remarkable what they do down there in the pit.

• 18:53Travis Kelce?

There would have been nothing happier for me to see than for you to just absolutely eat shit with that fucking gas can. I wanted you to go viral for throwing the gas can at the car.

• 19:05Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 19:07Speaker 05

And Talladega, if any race fans know this fun fact about Talladega Motor Speedway, it's the only racetrack that has its own what?

• 19:19Speaker 02

  Shake and bake.

• 19:20Speaker 05

That's a lot of shake and bake.

• 19:22Speaker 02

It does have that. It's the only raceway that has a jail.

• 19:25Speaker 05

  Jail.

• 19:26Speaker 02

  Oh.

• 19:27Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 19:28Speaker 02

That's how you know they have fun.

• 19:29Speaker 05

That's how you know they have fun.

• 19:31Speaker 02

  That's a compliment.

• 19:32Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 19:33Travis Kelce?

I only know one other place that has a jail at an event like that. And that's the field called the Eagles Linkin Financial Field.

• 19:40Speaker 02

Yeah, Veterans Field, famously, the Eagles' old stadium had a jail underneath the stadium.

• 19:46Speaker 05

  Oh, okay.

• 19:46Speaker 02

  Yeah. One and the same.

• 19:49Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 19:51Travis Kelce?

And you win. You win at both.

• 19:53Speaker 02

I do want to add, is there, what, so you have The Hawk coming out?

• 19:57Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 19:58Speaker 02

  Woo! Yes.

• 20:01Speaker 05

  Cuckoo! Cuckoo! The Hawk.

• 20:06Speaker 02

  The Hawk.

• 20:06Speaker 05

  Yeah. Lonnie the Hawk Hawkins.

• 20:12Speaker 02

Why do you enjoy doing sports comedies so much? What is it about?

• 20:16Speaker 05

Uh, I think, obviously, I grew up, you know, one of the best things my mother ever did for me was sign me up for AYSO Soccer when I was eight years old.

• 20:30Speaker 02

  Kicking and screaming, everywhere.

• 20:32Speaker 05

And that was the first time I was involved in team sports. I kinda hated it first, and then I, but anyway, from that point on, I loved playing sports. I loved being on a team, and it led to loving, I think, working in film, working on an ensemble show like Saturday Night Live, where it's all about teamwork. And then, obviously, that's what I thought I was gonna do, prior to going into comedy, was be a sportscaster. So, I think it's always an easy reference point for me, in terms of combining two things I love. And this was just a great opportunity to kinda send up golf and the PGA in a way that hadn't really been done before.

• 21:17Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 21:18Speaker 05

And Netflix just kinda let us make a very fun, old-school comedy where, with horribly unredeemable characters.

• 21:29Speaker 05

That's what Lonnie, he's a total narcissist. Who only wants to win. And he's, yeah, so.

• 21:37Speaker 02

So you went in, you just said you went into NASCAR, not knowing much about NASCAR, I tell you. How much golf has the Hawk been playing?

• 21:44Speaker 05

Uh, the Hawk's been playing a fair amount of golf.

• 21:49Speaker 05

  I'm a 17 handicap.

• 21:53Speaker 05

  Why are you laughing?

• 21:56Speaker 02

  We're not far off.

• 21:57Speaker 05

  Where are you guys?

• 21:59Speaker 02

  He's lower.

• 22:00Travis Kelce?

  Probably a 10.

• 22:00Speaker 05

  You're a 10, okay.

• 22:01Speaker 02

  I'm probably like a 15.

• 22:02Speaker 05

Yeah. So, yeah, you and I, you give us strokes.

• 22:09Travis Kelce?

  Deal.

• 22:09Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 22:10Travis Kelce?

  Deal.

• 22:11Speaker 05

But no, yeah, I've gotten a little bit better.

• 22:13Travis Kelce?

That'd be a dream golf round.

• 22:13Speaker 05

I'm good enough. I'm good enough to film myself swinging a golf club. Yeah. Yeah.

• 22:20Travis Kelce?

I love it. So the Hawk is, do we know when it's coming out?

• 22:24Speaker 05

  July 16th.

• 22:25Travis Kelce?

Oh! It's right around the fucking corner.

• 22:29Speaker 05

Great cast, Molly Shannon, Chris Parnell from SNL, Luke Wilson.

• 22:37Speaker 05

  Fortune Feimster.

• 22:40Speaker 05

Yeah, we got to shoot it here in LA and we just had the best time.

• 22:44Travis Kelce?

  That's awesome.

• 22:44Speaker 05

  Great time.

• 22:45Travis Kelce?

Well, shout out to Netflix, July 16th, ladies and gentlemen.

• 22:52Travis Kelce?

I really wanted to talk to you, even when we had you on New Heights, about my guy, fellow tight end, Mike Ditka, in kicking his screen.

• 23:02Speaker 05

  Oh, Mike.

• 23:03Travis Kelce?

Is that man as intense as he seems?

• 23:09Speaker 05

  Coach was the best.

• 23:12Speaker 05

  But yes.

• 23:15Speaker 05

I witnessed his hip pop out of joint.

• 23:18Speaker 02

  My gosh.

• 23:20Speaker 05

Yes, while we were filming, and then the medic came and popped it back in.

• 23:28Speaker 05

And then I said, "Coach, you want to just shut it down?" He's like, "No, we're good. Couple of adves."

• 23:34Speaker 05

And uh, let's just keep, let's just keep going.

• 23:36Travis Kelce?

Give me another cup of coffee and we'll be good.

• 23:38Speaker 05

But uh, he threw himself into that. He, he was uh, he was so fun and funny. And I mean, he just had to be Mike Ditka.

• 23:46Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 23:47Speaker 05

Uh, which was such a funny move that, that that's who I get to be my assistant coach. Um, and uh-

• 23:53Travis Kelce?

The ordering around, I don't know how you kept it together dude. I would have, I would, first of all, I don't know how you look at Mike Ditka and not, and-

• 24:02Speaker 05

Oh, he would, I, I could scream it at him and then we yell cut and he'd just crack up. But I was like, the only way I can do this is the, I know that we're acting. Cause if I, I mean, this is real life, he would, he would punch me in the face. But, um, but he'd have us at his place in Chicago and uh, in fact, we were, we were there having a dinner cause we did some promotional stuff in Chicago. And he's like, Will, come with me. And he walked, he took me from our dinner. We walked into this banquet room. We walked into someone's wedding reception.

• 24:34Travis Kelce?

  No, you crashed away.

• 24:36Speaker 05

And the groom is giving a toast and he just goes, anyway, Barbara, I love you so much and your family. Oh my God, Will Ferrell and Mike Ditka.

• 24:50Speaker 05

And he starts sweating and I'm like, hey, how you doing? Sorry, coach brought me in here. And uh, he's like, what are you guys doing here? He's like, hey, how's everyone doing? You having a great time? And then he's like, I love doing that. Come on, let's go back.

• 25:06Speaker 02

  What a legend.

• 25:08Speaker 05

Just stuff like that, you can't, yeah.

• 25:11Speaker 02

You do seem like, you love to do that type of stuff.

• 25:13Speaker 05

Yeah, every now and then, sure.

• 25:15Speaker 02

You're the referee, you're kicking Shaq out, you-

• 25:17Speaker 05

  Right, right, right, right.

• 25:18Speaker 02

You, some of the Kings are here this year, right?

• 25:21Speaker 05

  Last Christmas-

• 25:22Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 25:22Speaker 05

I just, uh, I dressed as a disheveled, down and out Buddy the Elf.

• 25:27Speaker 02

  Yes, yes.

• 25:29Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 25:30Speaker 02

That's him. I do remember that.

• 25:31Speaker 05

With a lit cigarette. And uh, people were like, this is why I love the NHL.

• 25:41Speaker 05

Other people got mad at me. "No, Buddy, what's wrong with Buddy?"

• 25:45Speaker 02

  He can't be sad.

• 25:46Speaker 05

Yeah, he can't be too sad.

• 25:48Travis Kelce?

World outside of the North Pole.

• 25:50Speaker 05

Oh no, this year I dressed as a full referee. I did a, and I just, I had a helmet, full ref outfit, and just imitated the refs.

• 25:59Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 26:00Speaker 05

  During the game.

• 26:01Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 26:02Speaker 05

Talked to them in between the periods. They loved it.

• 26:06Speaker 05

"This is great. No one pays attention to us, ever." But you forget, they gotta skate backwards too.

• 26:13Speaker 02

  Seriously.

• 26:14Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 26:15Speaker 02

Then they gotta stay out of the way of the puck, they gotta see what's...

• 26:17Speaker 05

They gotta break up fights. You guys would make good refs, I think. Second career?

• 26:23Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah.

• 26:24Speaker 05

  NHL refs?

• 26:25Speaker 02

  I mean, that's not a bad retirement.

• 26:27Speaker 05

Were you guys skaters at all? Did you skate?

• 26:28Speaker 02

  We were.

• 26:29Speaker 05

  After the swim cadets?

• 26:30Speaker 02

Right after swim cadet practice. Actually, they would just freeze the pool when we get out there. We both played hockey growing up, yeah.

• 26:39Speaker 05

  See, I see that.

• 26:40Travis Kelce?

We got out there, yeah. I loved every Kings...

• 26:43Speaker 05

  I'm sure.

• 26:44Travis Kelce?

  Had a fucking blast.

• 26:45Speaker 05

Yeah, we didn't really have, hockey didn't come to LA till much later.

• 26:49Travis Kelce?

Pro beach hockey did though, I remember watching that. That was sweet. That was the league I wanted to play.

• 26:54Speaker 05

Pro beach hockey in Speedos, rollerblades.

• 26:59Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 27:01Travis Kelce?

  Sign me up.

• 27:02Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 27:04Travis Kelce?

Well, let's get to some LA stuff. We know you're a LA guy, LA native, so we gotta ask you some LA questions.

• 27:10Speaker 05

  LA show. LA show.

• 27:13Travis Kelce?

Just throwing it out there, what's the best burger out here in LA?

• 27:18Speaker 05

Definitely, I mean, you can't go wrong with In-N-Out if you just need the... Animal Stop.

• 27:26Speaker 05

I just heard about a great place near an amazing taco place, La Escuela, on Beverly called Burger She Wrote.

• 27:36Speaker 02

I mean, I'm in for the theme alone. The name, yeah.

• 27:39Speaker 05

Another amazing Mexican place that borders on seafood is a place called Hobosh. Anyone been to Hobosh? It's down near the USC campus. Michelin star, like, ceviche, incredible.

• 27:55Travis Kelce?

It's got the Marshmallow Man plaque out front?

• 27:57Speaker 05

Yeah. Yeah, it's got the plaque.

• 27:59Travis Kelce?

I saw that one day and had no fucking clue it was actually the Michelin Man giving all these stars out.

• 28:06Speaker 05

Well, that's why he's huge, because he eats so much and he knows where all the good places are.

• 28:10Speaker 02

  That's a guy I trust.

• 28:11Speaker 05

Yeah, you trust the Michelin Man.

• 28:12Speaker 02

  He knows.

• 28:13Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 28:15Speaker 02

I do, have you ever been to Franken it Up? Yes.

• 28:21Speaker 02

  That's Frank.

• 28:23Travis Kelce?

  Did the whole?

• 28:26Speaker 05

  That was involuntary.

• 28:28Speaker 02

  Very. I mean, it's, I get it.

• 28:30Speaker 05

When you go to Franken it Up.

• 28:31Speaker 02

  Yes!

• 28:34Speaker 05

I have not been to Franken it Up.

• 28:36Speaker 02

He just is on like a black stone in the middle of like a residential, this is the thing with, LA has such good food all, in particular burgers.

• 28:42Speaker 05

  And pop-up places.

• 28:44Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 28:44Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 28:45Speaker 02

Frank is just out there working this black stone, making these freaking burgers.

• 28:48Speaker 05

  Franken it Up.

• 28:49Speaker 02

I gotta give him a shout out because I've had him, every time I've gone there, I make a point to go there.

• 28:52Speaker 05

  You go?

• 28:53Speaker 02

  Now I definitely want to.

• 28:54Speaker 05

Wait, what part of town or does, is it moving around?

• 28:56Speaker 02

It's honestly hard, it's in, it's off of Venice, it's in Venice.

• 28:59Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 29:00Speaker 02

And it's like, I just walk where the houses are and eventually you find Frank.

• 29:07Speaker 05

You just go, Frank! Frank! And he goes, yeah! Yeah!

• 29:15Speaker 05

He's here, that's him, up there in the upper deck.

• 29:18Speaker 02

He is a diehard cheese fan, he is a diehard cheese fan.

• 29:21Speaker 05

Franken it Up, down in Venice.

• 29:23Speaker 02

It's very good, it's very good. All right, favorite tourist trap?

• 29:28Speaker 05

Favorite tourist trap is Airwan, Airwan Mall.

• 29:34Travis Kelce?

  Nice. I love it.

• 29:40Speaker 05

Come on, baby! Hey, man! Eighty-dollar smoothie!

• 29:46Travis Kelce?

I need the collagen, I need the collagen.

• 29:48Speaker 05

It has real chunks of gold in it. I sifted it, and chunks of gold, I found gold in my smoothie.

• 29:59Travis Kelce?

  It's making me younger.

• 30:01Speaker 05

  I can feel it.

• 30:06Travis Kelce?

We got a funny one on here.

• 30:07Speaker 05

Tourist trap, you know what's another good tourist trap? Are the Hollywood tour vans that go around.

• 30:13Travis Kelce?

I'm all in on that kind of stuff.

• 30:14Speaker 05

I love pulling up to one of those.

• 30:17Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah, this is gold.

• 30:19Speaker 05

I'll take off my sunglasses and just be like, "Hey, seen anyone famous yet?"

• 30:27Speaker 05

And the whole bus will go, "I don't know, wheee!" I just pull away. I just like, vroom, just head on down Los Inga or wherever, yeah.

• 30:40Travis Kelce?

  It's so epic.

• 30:42Speaker 05

"You think you'll see anyone famous?" Or I'll pull up and go, "It's all lies, everything he said to you was a lie. Madonna does not live there."

• 30:54Travis Kelce?

What's the worst place anyone's ever caught you? Like...

• 30:57Speaker 05

  Wait, worst...

• 30:58Travis Kelce?

  What?

• 30:59Speaker 05

  Wait, worst place anyone ever...

• 31:00Travis Kelce?

  What is this question?

• 31:01Speaker 05

  Caught me?

• 31:02Travis Kelce?

Yeah, caught you, caught you red-handed, like at a...

• 31:04Speaker 05

  Red-handed?

• 31:05Travis Kelce?

  Caught you red-handed, yeah.

• 31:08Speaker 05

In the alley behind the Orpheum Theater?

• 31:12Speaker 05

  Been caught a lot, yeah.

• 31:15Travis Kelce?

That's what happens when you can't read, ladies and gentlemen. Shit comes out that you wish you could have back in a live show.

• 31:24Travis Kelce?

And yes, I've been caught in the back of the Orpheum Theater as well.

• 31:27Speaker 05

  Oh, that's so good.

• 31:32Travis Kelce?

  All right, Jason.

• 31:33Speaker 02

Let's get back to it, do you have one thing?

• 31:37Speaker 02

Do you have one thing you tell out-of-towner? That out-of-towner should do, there's a lot of people not from LA potentially here. Is there something they have to do while they're in LA?

• 31:48Speaker 05

You've got to go to the Hollywood Wax Museum

• 31:56Speaker 05

and check out my star on the Walk of...

• 31:58Speaker 02

  Let's go!

• 31:59Speaker 05

  Right there.

• 32:02Speaker 05

In front. That's where it is.

• 32:05Speaker 02

  Yeah, that's prime real estate.

• 32:06Speaker 05

Yes, right there. I'm usually there three times a week, just...

• 32:12Speaker 02

  Just shining that thing up?

• 32:14Speaker 05

With some turtle wax, just buffing it.

• 32:21Speaker 02

You gotta buffer that thing once in a while.

• 32:23Speaker 05

  I gotta buffer it.

• 32:26Speaker 05

I mean, we have amazing beaches, we have, uh... LA has great places to hike, if you're into hiking. Like Runyon Canyon, Franklin, all these places. What else?

• 32:43Speaker 05

If you wanna get caught, uh, the alley behind the Orford. Is a real must.

• 32:51Speaker 05

Especially if you're from a foreign land.

• 32:55Speaker 05

And I'll meet you back there, you know? We'll get, we'll all get caught together.

• 33:00Speaker 02

  Gosh!

• 33:00Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 33:03Speaker 02

You got it, Jason? Terrified, terrified to read anything else.

• 33:08Speaker 05

  He's terrified!

• 33:11Speaker 02

Do you have a welcome to LA moment? He's from here.

• 33:15Speaker 05

Well, yeah. I mean, I grew up in Orange County.

• 33:18Speaker 02

  Yeah, Jason.

• 33:19Speaker 05

  I'm from Orange County.

• 33:20Speaker 02

  Now it's back on me.

• 33:21Speaker 05

Yeah. So... Uh, I remember, I remember, so we would, if you grew up in Orange County, you'd take field trips up to LA. So I remember going to the La Brea Tar Pits as a kid. That was pretty cool.

• 33:39Speaker 02

  That's awesome. There we go.

• 33:41Speaker 05

Young Will Ferrell out of Irvine?

• 33:42Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 33:44Speaker 05

Looking at dinosaur bones in the tar pits?

• 33:49Speaker 05

  Come on!

• 33:49Speaker 02

  Sign me up.

• 33:52Speaker 02

How's it get more LA than that?

• 33:53Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 33:54Speaker 02

Is it true, okay, we have Colin Jost told us.

• 33:57Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 33:59Speaker 02

He said that you brought a briefcase, briefcase of cash to your audition with Lorne. Is this a true story?

• 34:06Speaker 05

I brought a brief, yeah, I brought a briefcase to a meeting with Lorne Michaels full of, of fake cash, not real cash. No, it was counterfeit money I found at a toy store. Because I was gonna bribe him to get me on the show. So I had walked into this meeting and I was going to, like, what comedian walks in with a briefcase? But I walked in, I was just gonna start stacking money on his desk. And just say, "Lorne, we can talk till the cows come home." But we all know what really talks: cash money. And I'm gonna walk out of your office, you can take it or you can leave it, but I suggest you put me on the show.

• 34:48Speaker 05

Anyway, I was too nervous to do it. It was too frightening. And I just sat there with a briefcase. And I could never pull the trigger. And I had this really intense, intimidating meeting with him, where he actually was kinda coaching me as to, because I had a callback the next day. He was kinda telling me what I should do and not do. And then, um, and then I just walked out going, "That is, I must have looked like such an asshole with a briefcase." And then he, then the meeting where he finally told me I had the job, I brought the briefcase again.

• 35:25Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 35:26Speaker 05

But the assistant said, "You can leave your briefcase, you don't need to bring it in there." So then he, then he, then he finally told me I got hired and I, I, I walked out and I said to the assistant, like, "I've been carrying around this fake money for six weeks now. Can you hand, can you give him some and say thank you?" And he actually thought it was very funny in hindsight that I was trying to do this joke that he would have never laughed.

• 35:53Speaker 05

But yeah, that was, that was partly true.

• 35:57Speaker 02

Yeah. Yeah. Speaking of intense moments, is it true that you once did skits for the OJ jury in between sessions?

• 36:06Speaker 05

  We did.

• 36:07Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 36:07Speaker 05

We did. At the, when we were, when I was at the Groundlings Theater here on Melrose,

• 36:14Speaker 05

we, I was part of this, the, the company at that time when the OJ trial was going on and we, we were like, oh, these poor people are sequestered.

• 36:25Speaker 02

  Stuck there.

• 36:25Speaker 05

So let's go do comedy for them in a courtroom. And performed on some Saturday in bad fluorescent lighting in LA County Court.

• 36:37Travis Kelce?

Did you, did you cheer some people up? Or was it just stale?

• 36:40Speaker 05

  I think they enjoyed it.

• 36:43Speaker 05

  It was so bizarre.

• 36:45Travis Kelce?

Ladies and gentlemen, Will Ferrell! Will Ferrell!

• 36:53Speaker 02

Thank you to our partner Xfinity.

• 36:56Travis Kelce?

All right, all right. Summer's almost here and you already know what that means. The beautiful game is back, baby.

• 37:04Speaker 02

And you gotta be ready for it. Imagine having all your people over, the whole crew streaming every goal and your wifi just handles it. Low lag, no drama.

• 37:13Travis Kelce?

Let's get to our next guest.

• 37:43Speaker 02

Let's keep it moving. We got our next guest. As we said, we have some World Cup royalty. Our next guests are former members of the US Women's National Team.

• 37:57Speaker 02

They are Olympic gold medalists, three-time CONCACAF Women's Champions. They've combined for three NWSL championships and having combined, they have scored over 100 goals in international play. Ninety percenters, please welcome the two-time-

• 38:12Travis Kelce?

World Cup Champions Kelly O'Hara and Alex Morgan. Whoa. Let's go.

• 38:23Travis Kelce?

Kelly, thank you so much for doing this. It's already primed up for you. It's got a little kick to it. Alex, what's going on?

• 38:34Travis Kelce?

Thank you so much for doing this.

• 38:41Travis Kelce?

I told you I had a little kick.

• 38:43Speaker 03

I've never done that before. Oh my gosh.

• 38:47Travis Kelce?

Nothing like a little t-shirt, Ken. How about it?

• 38:49Speaker 03

I've never done that before. That was very fun. Thank you. Thank you.

• 38:54Travis Kelce?

Ninety-two percenters, how we feeling out there?

• 38:59Travis Kelce?

We got some World Cup gold here. How about that?

• 39:04Speaker 03

  What's up, guys?

• 39:05Speaker 02

All right, we have you guys here.

• 39:09Speaker 02

Fresh off of a USA, like.

• 39:12Speaker 03

  Big win.

• 39:12Speaker 02

  Performance of all performance.

• 39:13Speaker 03

Big win. It felt like a World Cup final. Like, we just kept scoring goals and it was insane.

• 39:19Speaker 02

So, we're winning it all, right?

• 39:21Speaker 03

Hundred percent. After all the other results, I feel very confident, yeah.

• 39:26Speaker 02

Yeah. What do you think, from you guys' standpoint, watching that game? What really stood out to you as experts in the game?

• 39:33Speaker 03

They just looked good. Like, the possession of the ball, the breaking lines, like, they were taking on the back line, but also like passing when they needed to and it just looked good. Like, it was good football. It was, I was genuinely, I watched the game and I was like, dang, that's some of the best football I've ever seen them play. And I was like, they look confident, they look cohesive.

• 39:56Travis Kelce?

  Give it up, come on.

• 39:57Speaker 03

  And they look creative.

• 39:58Travis Kelce?

  Come on, guys!

• 39:59Speaker 03

  Like.

• 40:00Travis Kelce?

  Sorry, Kelly.

• 40:01Speaker 03

No, they did everything right that they needed to in that game. And, and, I mean, we've both been in World Cups and we know, like, that first game, you have the nerves, you gotta start strong, and that performance was like, okay, we got a chance here.

• 40:14Speaker 02

I love it, I love it.

• 40:15Travis Kelce?

Well, I'll say it's about time the men started acting like the US women out here, starting to play some damn hoop balls and soccer. How about it? There we go.

• 40:24Speaker 03

We want the boys to win. We're behind them all the way.

• 40:26Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 40:26Speaker 03

  100%.

• 40:27Travis Kelce?

You know, how was, how, so Alex, you were at the game?

• 40:30Speaker 06

  I was at the game.

• 40:30Travis Kelce?

Ellie, were you there as well?

• 40:31Speaker 03

  Kansas City.

• 40:32Speaker 06

  She was going to come.

• 40:33Speaker 03

She was going to come and she prioritized coming to the show.

• 40:36Travis Kelce?

You were feet on the ground.

• 40:37Speaker 03

Yeah, I was boots on the ground in Kansas City, watch party. Yeah, it was electric, as you like to say.

• 40:43Travis Kelce?

So how, how are the fans right now? Was it, was it as crazy as you would have imagined it to be being World Cup in America?

• 40:50Speaker 06

Yeah, I mean, if the fans weren't hyped up enough before.

• 40:53Travis Kelce?

  You're an experienced street character.

• 40:54Speaker 06

Yeah. Than they are now. Like, that game, I think, like, turned everyone into fans. Like, we're turning on all the games or we're watching the US win here.

• 41:01Speaker 03

Yeah, I feel like, like, that's what's so cool about the World Cup is that, obviously, in the stadium, an experience, right? But like, across the country, all the cities turn up, they have their watch parties. I was in Kansas City, power and light district, and, yeah. We got, we got Kansas City fans in here.

• 41:20Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 41:20Speaker 03

  Yeah, obviously.

• 41:21Travis Kelce?

We got the Kansas City fans in here. Alex, just checking, just making sure, just making sure.

• 41:27Speaker 03

No, and, and Kansas City knows how to party.

• 41:29Travis Kelce?

  Come on now.

• 41:30Speaker 03

  Very much so.

• 41:30Travis Kelce?

  Come on now.

• 41:31Speaker 02

I'm glad you're bringing up the Kansas City party that you were at because there's a clip that we want to play. One of my problems, so I went to the World Cup in Brazil when the men played, and one of the things that stood out is how behind we are as a nation with chanting, okay? I feel like-

• 41:46Speaker 03

I saw this rant from you on social media, yeah.

• 41:49Speaker 02

How does it feel on your end when I'm ranting about a game that I have no expertise in?

• 41:54Speaker 03

Well, you're not necessarily ranting about the game, you're ranting about the chant.

• 41:57Speaker 02

  That's right.

• 41:58Speaker 03

Like, you were, that's fair for you to do.

• 41:59Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 42:00Speaker 03

  You know, as a fan.

• 42:00Speaker 02

Well, you encountered something that I think has some potential. Can we play this clip real quick?

• 42:04Speaker 03

  I, I agree.

• 42:05Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 42:05Speaker 03

George Washington! Oh my God! How are you?

• 42:09Travis Kelce?

  George Washington?

• 42:10Speaker 03

How are you? I'm living the dream. We just won the opener! How are you feeling on a scale of 1 to 10? A 10. We're bringing it home! Ask George Washington what would you want to say to the team tonight? 13 stripes, 15 stars, we don't care who the [bleep] you are!

• 42:27Speaker 02

Oh! I feel like that's our chant. That's our chant this year.

• 42:33Speaker 06

George did not mince words, you know?

• 42:35Speaker 02

Can we get this chant going right now? You guys in? Do we got it? Thirteen shots, fifty stars. We don't care who the fuck you are. Oh! That's a great chant. That is a great chant.

• 42:49Speaker 06

  Yeah, I-

• 42:50Speaker 02

Surprised we got that that quick, to be honest with you.

• 42:52Speaker 06

I know, because it's like, which ones come, the Stars, the Stripes? No, Stripes first. Okay, so yeah, yeah.

• 42:57Speaker 02

  Yes, yes.

• 42:58Speaker 06

Once you do that, it's good, yeah.

• 42:59Speaker 02

How do you guys feel so far that the United States is doing as a host nation? I keep seeing all these awesome videos of people experiencing a lot of genuine American things for the first time. I live in Philadelphia. Ecuador completely took over the Philadelphia Eagles stadium. There's just something about the World Cup that feels so much bigger than really any other sporting event. How do you feel like the US is doing so far?

• 43:23Speaker 06

I think really good. I think there was a lot of criticism leading up to the World Cup.

• 43:28Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 43:29Speaker 06

But like you, your experience in Philly, in San Diego, Switzerland. Switzerland has their home base there, and I play paddle, or padel, a couple of times a week. I'm obsessed with it.

• 43:42Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 43:43Speaker 06

So if you guys haven't played, you got to come out. There we go.

• 43:46Speaker 02

I'm in. Just dunked for the first time, look out.

• 43:49Speaker 06

Seriously, that was really impressive, actually. I was like, oh, Jason's really athletic. I got Alex.

• 43:56Speaker 02

What case is he just bad?

• 43:58Speaker 06

He played professional football. But yeah, having them out at the paddle club that I'm a part of, like in San Diego, like they want to experience things. So it's not just the fans, it's like the teams as well. So I think we're doing a pretty damn good job.

• 44:14Speaker 02

  Awesome. Love it, love it.

• 44:15Speaker 06

Yeah. Yeah, no, I think we all had a little bit of anxiety around the World Cup. Coming to the US ahead of it, just not knowing how things were gonna go. You know, there were questions around host cities and stadiums and tickets and all this stuff. But it seems like everybody who's coming here is having such a good time. And I was so excited for the US to welcome people and to show them the US. And I feel like that's actually happening, so I'm pumped on that.

• 44:42Speaker 02

  Love it, love it.

• 44:44Travis Kelce?

Love to hear it from two pros here. All right, can we throw it back to the first time you guys were in the World Cup? We actually have some pictures here. If you don't remember exactly, you can go ahead and check around. How about it?

• 44:55Speaker 06

Look at, look at the, the pink, the pink.

• 44:57Travis Kelce?

  Was that a quarter zip?

• 44:59Speaker 06

Those were my least favorite jerseys. To get those over your head and as a woman doing your hair, you're like, okay, now I gotta redo it. It looked like, I don't know, what did we call those jerseys? They were...

• 45:11Speaker 03

  It wasn't, it wasn't good.

• 45:12Speaker 06

  It wasn't good at all.

• 45:13Speaker 03

Yeah. Yeah, we were, we just, does this, it happens for you guys when you're on your team, like you get presented with the jersey and they're like, is the jersey unveiled?

• 45:22Speaker 06

Oh, and you have all the cameras and you're expected to like, be like, oh, those are so sick. And then...

• 45:27Travis Kelce?

  Sweet.

• 45:28Speaker 06

Yeah, just, we had to be like, okay.

• 45:31Travis Kelce?

  These are fucking sweet.

• 45:34Speaker 02

I was also not a good white on white guy. I needed like a dark up top, white bottom. I needed to look nice and slim on the upper section. If I was white, I'd just look like the Michelin Man, like we were talking about earlier. It wasn't a good look. Oh, we're gonna unveil white on white jerseys.

• 45:49Travis Kelce?

The most insecure man in the room is the most insecure about his stomach. It's the best.

• 45:52Speaker 02

Every offense lineman is miserable on game day when it's white on white. Just letting you know.

• 45:56Travis Kelce?

We got one more pick up here.

• 45:58Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 45:59Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah.

• 46:00Speaker 03

This was, um, this was probably my 15 minutes of, um, whatever the opposite of fame is. I, I went to this World Cup as an alternate, like I, I did not make the team, I got cut. And then Pia called and was like, somebody got injured and she said, we need you. I'm just letting you know, you're coming as a bench warmer, a, like a cheerleader and a training player.

• 46:23Travis Kelce?

  Jesus, soccer's fucking aggressive.

• 46:25Speaker 03

Well, I was like, I was like PSA less, like that's all, like I'm okay with that. Like I'm down to go to the World Cup.

• 46:30Travis Kelce?

  Should I get the jersey?

• 46:31Speaker 03

Yeah, no, basically, basically. And so these 15 minutes that I got in the game were the worst 15 minutes of my life and I, yeah, it didn't go well, but we prevailed, so that's okay, yeah.

• 46:41Speaker 06

My first World Cup experience wasn't like this one. But me and Kelly, I think we've gone to every major tournament virtually together ever since 2011, 2010.

• 46:52Speaker 02

Yeah, you guys had like a great core group of players that were together for a long time. How was it to be able to build that chemistry? And then Alex, what was it like when you first got your call to join the national team? Like what is that call like?

• 47:04Speaker 06

It was the very first campus, Kelly. And then a couple of months later, we got our first caps the same week, Kelly, in sunny San Diego. I was warming up on the sideline for 90 minutes and never got the call. And I think the coach forgot to tell me to like, sit down. Like, we were out of subs, but I was still warming up.

• 47:29Speaker 03

You were out of subs, you were still warming up.

• 47:30Speaker 06

  Yeah. She forgot about me.

• 47:31Speaker 03

We're gonna say, we're gonna say.

• 47:32Speaker 06

So then, we go to Salt Lake City, and it's 10 degrees and snowing, and...

• 47:39Speaker 03

  Jumping snow.

• 47:40Speaker 06

Before US Soccer doing great treats the teams well, back then, could care less about a snow plower or any sort of way to get the snow off the field. That was my first cap. I'm from California, never played in the snow, two feet of snow, didn't know what the hell I was doing.

• 47:56Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah.

• 47:57Speaker 06

And walked off the field, and the coach said, "That was so funny, we were laughing at you the whole time."

• 48:05Speaker 06

And it was, yeah, not a great...

• 48:07Speaker 03

You did Snow Angels, you were on for that, right?

• 48:09Speaker 06

That was my most memorable moment, I did a Snow Angel when Abby scored.

• 48:13Speaker 03

Yeah, for celebration, for that game.

• 48:14Travis Kelce?

Epic, epic, gotta love a good celebration.

• 48:16Speaker 02

  Very fitting, yes.

• 48:17Travis Kelce?

How did it compare from playing in the World Cup to the Olympics? Is it similar? Does it change a lot? Just curious from us.

• 48:27Speaker 03

Everybody asks, everybody always is like, what's better, World Cup or Olympics? But the reality is, they're completely different. Like, World Cup is, yeah, World Cup, the whole world stops and watches soccer, football for four weeks.

• 48:41Speaker 02

  Right.

• 48:42Speaker 03

Olympics, you're on Team USA, and you're, you feel like you're teammates with these other athletes that are competing in all these different sports. So, very different feelings. For me, when I was growing up, Olympics was like, the thing. I didn't really, I was, I liked soccer, but my first vision of like, female athletes was Olympics.

• 49:02Speaker 02

  Yeah, sure.

• 49:03Speaker 03

The 1996 gymnastics team, I was like, I'm gonna do that, yeah. And so for me, like, winning a gold medal was so cool. But then I understood, like, the gravity and the, you know, how amazing a World Cup win was when we went to 2015, but...

• 49:22Speaker 06

Yeah, I agree. I also want to say, like, for the Women's World Cup, like, the first World Cup was in 91 for the women. The first World Cup for men dates back a hundred years?

• 49:33Speaker 03

  Longer, farther back than 91.

• 49:35Speaker 06

So it was so, so for us growing... Yeah. So for us growing up, Olympics was definitely more memorable because that's what we see, we saw women doing on TV, like, playing sports. That was the only time we got to see women playing sports.

• 49:49Speaker 02

  Right, yeah.

• 49:50Speaker 03

Obviously, like, 99 was huge for me as a little girl playing soccer. But, yeah, for sure. Um, but the 1996 Olympics was the first time I remember seeing female athletes on television.

• 50:04Speaker 02

  Got you.

• 50:05Speaker 03

And so that's, that was why I was like, Olympics is the thing. I want to be an Olympian. I'm gonna be an Olympian, yeah.

• 50:10Speaker 06

How do you guys feel? Do you wish that American football was in the Olympics?

• 50:13Speaker 03

  No, wait, flag football.

• 50:14Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 50:14Speaker 02

Flag football's going. We just found out...

• 50:16Speaker 06

Are you coming, are you, are you coming out of retirement for flag football?

• 50:19Speaker 02

  I, um, I will...

• 50:20Speaker 06

Because after that, come on, come on. Dude, you could be a wide receiver now.

• 50:26Speaker 02

Unfortunately, I don't know that my skill set translates to playing football very well.

• 50:30Speaker 06

Okay, you are very athletic. We just saw it.

• 50:33Travis Kelce?

Well, we had the Hawk helping him out, yeah. The, um, I would say this, we just kind of found out that, um, American flag football is a little different skill set than the actual football.

• 50:44Speaker 02

Well, the, the flag team just beat a bunch, like, Tom Brady and a bunch of former NFL players, so...

• 50:49Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, no, that's...

• 50:50Speaker 02

It is a different game. It's a different skill set a little bit.

• 50:53Speaker 03

  It's like mostly running.

• 50:55Speaker 02

  Yeah, it's much more, um...

• 50:58Travis Kelce?

Yeah, yeah, not enough, not enough big guys out there imposing their will.

• 51:02Speaker 06

  Right.

• 51:03Travis Kelce?

  You know what I mean?

• 51:04Speaker 02

I'm not gonna lie, I don't know enough about it to really speak too much, but it does appear that it's much more agility-based.

• 51:09Speaker 06

  Yes.

• 51:10Speaker 02

These guys know the techniques on how to, like, swivel their hips and not get the flag pulled, so they have a leg up and all that. I do know a lot of NFL guys do want to play. It'll be interesting to see who makes the American football, flag football team. I do, I will say unequivocally, I think every NFL player is very jealous of all the other sports they get to represent their country. Because that is something that like, we love watching, just like you Kelly, just like you Alex. We grew up watching these moments in the Olympics and like, it was so cool seeing people represent their country on the national, on the international stage.

• 51:47Speaker 02

Whether it was a World Cup, Olympics, whatever, it was, those were some of the biggest moments from our childhood and unfortunately, I mean, there's a lot of perks to football, that is one downside.

• 51:56Travis Kelce?

Even more is that the Summer Olympics are always right during our training camps. So that's like, kind of the bonding that we have throughout camp to where we're like, as soon as we get off the field, we go straight over to the TV and everybody's huddled around the TV watching all the, all the games going on and rooting for America in that way. So, without a doubt, jealous that, that we don't get to represent the country in that way, but I guess never say never.

• 52:17Speaker 03

  It's not too late.

• 52:18Speaker 02

You still have a chance. You might translate.

• 52:20Travis Kelce?

I'll, listen, I'll create the annexation of Puerto Rico. I'll coat some guys up.

• 52:26Travis Kelce?

I might not have the, the hips to swivel around and nobody touch my flag, but I'll make the catch. I'll make the catch.

• 52:34Speaker 03

  You can also do handball.

• 52:35Travis Kelce?

  What's that?

• 52:36Speaker 03

  Handball.

• 52:36Travis Kelce?

Handball's another one. I can't throw, I don't know if you saw me try and throw a baseball last year.

• 52:42Speaker 03

  Alright, I'll take it back.

• 52:43Travis Kelce?

I went viral. It didn't go too well for me.

• 52:46Speaker 03

  That was pretty bad.

• 52:47Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, it was real bad.

• 52:48Speaker 03

  No way.

• 52:49Travis Kelce?

My dad wasn't very proud. He taught me way better than that.

• 52:52Speaker 03

  Oh gosh.

• 52:52Speaker 06

Did you practice at all? Because I've thrown out a first pitch and I'm like, week before, buying the glove, the ball, like I'm practicing.

• 52:58Travis Kelce?

  I should have did that.

• 52:59Speaker 06

You gotta get it over the plate.

• 53:01Speaker 03

It really doesn't surprise me in the slightest by you.

• 53:03Travis Kelce?

I, um, I didn't. I thought it was just like riding a bike. And it would just come right back to me. And it didn't.

• 53:11Speaker 02

Alright, we're gonna, we're gonna get back on track. Of all the World Cup moments, what are your guys' favorite moments?

• 53:19Speaker 03

  Winning.

• 53:20Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 53:22Travis Kelce?

  I hear that.

• 53:23Speaker 02

That sums it up pretty good.

• 53:26Speaker 03

  Next question.

• 53:27Travis Kelce?

Do you guys have like a favorite host city? Out of the World Cups?

• 53:31Speaker 03

  I mean, Paris.

• 53:32Travis Kelce?

  Which one was the roundiest?

• 53:34Speaker 03

Paris, when we played France in the quarterfinals 2019 World Cup. That was an insane game to play in, yeah. Like, I remember, so... We're playing the host country in Paris and I remember, I don't know if you... When we ran out to the field, so like you warm up on either side of the field. When we ran out, we were warming, we do part of our warm-up bar at the beginning of the warm-up on like a sideline and in front of where we were warming up, and that's like the most time in a warm-up where you're really taking things in probably, it was all Americans, all American flags, all Ameri... like, all Americans. And so I was like, "Oh my god, we're gonna, we're rocking this place, like, we own this." It was our parents. Yeah, like, literally. But then, but then I hear after the game, and like, once the whistle blows, I'm locked in, I don't, I'm not really paying attention.

• 54:17Speaker 03

After the game, from all of our friends and family, they were like, "No, no, no, no. That was this small of the stadium, everything else was France." And they were all scared for us because they were just like, "We are outnumbered here." And it was all France, but it was an insane game, it was the most fun, and we won.

• 54:36Travis Kelce?

  Winning is fun. Checks out.

• 54:40Speaker 02

Is there anything, since soccer, football, as it is internationally known everywhere else, is on the world stage right now, is there something you want people that are taking it in for the first time? What do you want people to take away while they're watching World Cup? For the first time, maybe? Or just getting into the sport?

• 54:58Speaker 03

I feel like a lot of people knock soccer because they're like, "It's slow and there's not a lot of goals." Like, you know, football, your football, it's like you run over the line and you get six points, but it's really like, one point.

• 55:13Travis Kelce?

There have been games where I haven't even scored six points.

• 55:17Speaker 03

  Right, yeah.

• 55:18Travis Kelce?

You can say that about every game.

• 55:19Speaker 03

So, yeah, so, you know, some football games are actually like 3-2, you know, if you did soccer, so...

• 55:27Speaker 06

It's true. You're like, "Oh, my God, 21 to 28."

• 55:32Travis Kelce?

  She's not lying.

• 55:33Speaker 06

So, and like, yeah, that's fun. Yeah, but, um...

• 55:36Travis Kelce?

So, should soccer points be worth 10?

• 55:39Speaker 06

  Maybe, you know?

• 55:40Travis Kelce?

And then it'd be like, "They're scoring so much."

• 55:42Speaker 02

Oh, my God. That's a good point.

• 55:45Speaker 06

But it's a beautiful game. It's a game that, you know, the culture around it is so, I think, inviting and exciting and like, different, right? All these different countries bring a different element. When they're cheering for their teams, they got their different chants. They have their different rituals, traditions. And it's just cool. Like, I think that sports is one of the most uniting things that we have.

• 56:12Travis Kelce?

  Amen to that.

• 56:13Speaker 06

And to see the World Cup, yeah, like, the World Cup is that. But like, everybody. And that's my favorite part about it.

• 56:20Speaker 02

What do you think, um, it does feel like the US is really, their appetite for soccer, women's and men's, continues to get bigger and bigger every year. What do you think is the best way to continue to promote the game within the States? Like, just keep doing what they're doing? Like, is there something in particular so that we can continue to kick Paraguay's ass? Like, I don't really know what I would say.

• 56:41Speaker 06

We don't want to kick Paraguay's ass. We want to kick like Spain and France and Germany.

• 56:44Speaker 02

Fair enough, fair enough. Yes, yes, yes. Yeah.

• 56:49Speaker 06

I think it's all about like the youth system because soccer is a sport that you really do start training as a young kid.

• 56:56Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 56:56Speaker 06

And I think it's like, in a lot of ways, been made as like a business. And I really want the youth system that's really fractured right now to like, be repaired and really harnessed, like, kids like growing up and giving them opportunities, more opportunities than exist right now.

• 57:14Speaker 02

  All right.

• 57:15Speaker 06

I think it's really expensive for kids to play soccer.

• 57:18Speaker 02

Well, the leagues especially, right, and all the travel and everything, yeah. It's hard, especially if you want to play at the high level.

• 57:24Speaker 06

Yeah, I mean, in California, it's pretty much, there's a country full of kids playing soccer in the state of California. But for some reason, every other weekend, kids are traveling all across the country to play other clubs. It's unnecessary.

• 57:39Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah.

• 57:43Travis Kelce?

One of the biggest things that was a part of my childhood and love of sports and fueled my fandom was inspiration. And I know you two ladies have inspired an entire country with your play Out on the Pitch. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, give it up for Alex Morgan and Kelly O'Hara.

• 58:08Travis Kelce?

• 59:19Travis Kelce?

All right, let's get to our last guest. We told you guys we had three. We might have four.

• 59:26Travis Kelce?

Our last guest tonight is the six-foot-seven tackle from LSU.

• 59:32Travis Kelce?

Four-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Puro, 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year, the BCS National Champion, and Super Bowl Champion with the Los Angeles Rams, 90 percenters. Please welcome Andrew Wynn.

• 59:56Travis Kelce?

High five it baby, we got the big win in the house!

• 1:00:04Speaker 02

And this is an LA show, so it is gonna be involving Rams. Travis just alluded to the fourth guest. Our next guest is the 6'4 defensive end from Texas A&M. The number one overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, 7-time All-Pro, 7-time Pro Player, the record holder for most sacks in a single season. What a reigning Defensive Player of the Year!

• 1:00:24Travis Kelce?

No way! Oh! No way! Hey! Myles Garrett! Myles Garrett!

• 1:00:37Travis Kelce?

  Let's go!

• 1:00:51Speaker 02

  Oh, loading them up.

• 1:00:52Speaker 04

I think they're happy right there.

• 1:00:53Speaker 02

  I'm a bad host, I'm a bad host.

• 1:00:57Speaker 04

  Upper deck, baby!

• 1:01:02Travis Kelce?

  Me too.

• 1:01:03Speaker 04

Take that home to my kids.

• 1:01:14Travis Kelce?

Oh! The man is so powerful. The shirt exploded, that's how strong this man is.

• 1:01:23Travis Kelce?

For all my Rams fans in here, who's house?

• 1:01:27Travis Kelce?

  Who's house?

• 1:01:29Speaker 04

  There we go.

• 1:01:31Speaker 02

  Alright.

• 1:01:33Travis Kelce?

  Let's have a seat here.

• 1:01:34Speaker 04

  Oh!

• 1:01:35Speaker 02

Alright. Miles, we gotta talk about one thing first. As two Cleveland Heights kids, be honest. The Pacific Ocean has nothing on Lake Erie, right?

• 1:01:49Travis Kelce?

Lake Erie, Lake Erie has its charm, but it's got nothing on a personal.

• 1:01:53Speaker 02

  Fair, fair.

• 1:01:54Travis Kelce?

I'm sorry, we got the best beaches in the Midwest.

• 1:01:56Speaker 02

It's about the people in Lake Erie, it's about the people over there.

• 1:01:59Travis Kelce?

  It's about the people.

• 1:02:01Speaker 02

Um, how's it feel so far? You been here for what? A month?

• 1:02:06Travis Kelce?

What? Been here for a day.

• 1:02:07Speaker 02

  Yeah?

• 1:02:08Travis Kelce?

  I got in last night.

• 1:02:09Speaker 02

Got it, alright. Got the mini camp? Yeah?

• 1:02:12Travis Kelce?

Yep, knock down mini camp. Thanks to Big Whit, he was part of the-

• 1:02:15Speaker 05

  It was easy, right?

• 1:02:16Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:02:17Speaker 05

Little couple meetings and canceled the rest, it was great.

• 1:02:21Speaker 02

Thanks Coach, there we go. What, what are you, what are you most excited about coming to LA?

• 1:02:30Speaker 05

Y'all heard it, they said it, you can say it again.

• 1:02:33Travis Kelce?

  Say it one more time?

• 1:02:36Travis Kelce?

There we go. Winning a Super Bowl.

• 1:02:39Speaker 02

Well, there's another guy that moved from Ohio and won a Super Bowl when he came out to LA and he's sitting right next to you. Longtime Cincinnati Bengal, Big Whit. Whit.

• 1:02:49Speaker 02

Is there any player that was harder to block than the guy sitting right here?

• 1:02:54Speaker 05

Listen, I, I am very thankful that I didn't have to take a lot of snaps against this guy. But it's like this, Jason, you've gotten into golf, so Miles, just bear with me here. You got into golf, so there's no pictures on the scorecard, right? So here's how you, you treat it, you know this, right? If we've played one snap against you, then technically we can say we played against you.

• 1:03:13Speaker 02

  Yes, yes.

• 1:03:13Speaker 05

  Right?

• 1:03:13Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 1:03:14Speaker 05

Right? So when people ask, I'm like, listen, luckily I got out of the league, I didn't have to play against Miles much. I did play him one time and he got one rush against me. Thank God the quarterback got rid of the ball in a second and a half. But, just like in golf, there's no pictures on the scorecard, so I can say that I did get to play against him and he didn't get a sack, right?

• 1:03:32Speaker 02

  There we go, one time.

• 1:03:34Speaker 05

  That's it, right?

• 1:03:34Speaker 02

  One time for one.

• 1:03:35Speaker 05

One play for one second. So he's on the list, as I always say, there's always a list. Who you faced that didn't actually get a stat, you're like, hey, you know, technically, he's on the list, even though, you know, it's a, it's a very-

• 1:03:46Speaker 02

  Oh for one?

• 1:03:47Speaker 05

Yeah, oh for one. You know what I mean? He still goes there, though.

• 1:03:50Speaker 02

Well, it does appear, obviously all the fans are very happy that you're in LA. Another person very happy is Sean McVay. We have this photo. I don't think I've ever seen Sean McVay smile this-

• 1:04:00Speaker 05

  Dude.

• 1:04:03Speaker 05

  That's so good. So good.

• 1:04:09Speaker 05

He, literally, the first day Miles comes in the building and they go do all their testing and all this, I call Sean, I'm like, "Hey, man, how things going?", whatever, he's just glowing, and they, the first thing, everybody in the building, like, this guy, the freak he is, as big as he is, as well as he can move, it's just, it's mind-boggling to watch this guy. I mean, when you watch him play as a tackle, it's reasons I say that I'm glad I'm not playing against this guy. For his size, his power, his ability to bend, to get off the line of scrimmage is extremely rare. It's not something you find every single day. So, he is a rare human being who I know everybody in that building is really excited he's a part of this thing.

• 1:04:45Travis Kelce?

  Thank you.

• 1:04:46Speaker 02

It really is mind-blowing. The way you bend the corner-

• 1:04:49Speaker 05

  It's not, it's not fair.

• 1:04:50Speaker 02

Yeah, it really isn't. I still remember being with Joel Batonio up in, we had a joint practice with you guys.

• 1:04:55Travis Kelce?

  Yup.

• 1:04:56Speaker 02

And, uh, after practice, Joel was like, "Can you believe that we're playing the same game as this dude?" Like, this is just like-

• 1:05:01Speaker 05

  I'd say any-

• 1:05:02Speaker 02

A completely different level athlete out here, and we're out here trying to-

• 1:05:06Travis Kelce?

Jordan was having a great time.

• 1:05:07Speaker 02

Yeah. Dude, that was, and Jordan is a great player. That was a rough, uh, practice for him. I mean, is there any tackle you look up and you're like, "Who are the tackles that give you the biggest issues? Is that fair? Does anybody?"

• 1:05:20Travis Kelce?

Just me, I don't think in the last two years I've, I've looked at anyone on the schedule and been like, "They're gonna give me trouble."

• 1:05:28Speaker 02

Yeah. How'd that feel? That must feel good.

• 1:05:31Speaker 05

  Cause, cause they don't?

• 1:05:32Travis Kelce?

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. I mean, there are guys I have respect for.

• 1:05:36Speaker 02

  Of course.

• 1:05:36Travis Kelce?

You know, I, I respect Trent, I respect Jordan.

• 1:05:38Speaker 02

  Yup.

• 1:05:39Travis Kelce?

Um, you know, my matchups with, with Laramie. I mean, there, there are definitely guys I, I look and I'm like, "All right, this, this is gonna be a fun one." But if not anyone I, I look at, I'm like, "Man, I gotta do something different."

• 1:05:50Speaker 02

Yeah, you're just gonna play your game.

• 1:05:51Travis Kelce?

  It just gotta be me.

• 1:05:52Speaker 02

  Yeah. That's a great answer.

• 1:05:55Speaker 05

  Um, so, back to Cleveland.

• 1:05:59Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:06:00Travis Kelce?

Great Cleveland is. Let's talk about how amazing Cleveland was for you. No, seriously. You've been to the Rock Hall of Fame? As a kid from Cleveland and obviously to grow up being Browns fans, I just want to say thank you for everything you did, not only for that city on the field, but off the field. You're Walter Payton Man of the Year kind of guy. The stuff you've done in that community to really build that community and show, make sure they felt your presence. I've always appreciated that as a Clevelander myself. I know what kind of impact that has and I just wanted to say thank you for that. But also in terms of coming to LA, have you met the scheme? Have you met the D coordinators? Have you met the scheme?

• 1:06:43Travis Kelce?

Have you found out like, are you going to be doing crossovers on the center this year?

• 1:06:47Speaker 02

We don't want to talk about that.

• 1:06:49Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, give us all schematics.

• 1:06:51Speaker 02

  Slow it down.

• 1:06:52Travis Kelce?

Just trying to get a game plan for Christmas.

• 1:06:57Travis Kelce?

They gotta, gotta write some notes down. They said I'll be all over the tight end on Christmas.

• 1:07:08Travis Kelce?

Alright, so we go to multiple tight ends.

• 1:07:13Speaker 02

You guys do have an awesome defensive line room.

• 1:07:16Travis Kelce?

  We do.

• 1:07:16Speaker 02

It is pretty crazy. I know obviously verse and you swapped, but they're still Kobe Turner. They're still fist, they're still young. Like it is a very deep room.

• 1:07:26Travis Kelce?

  It's special room.

• 1:07:27Speaker 02

Yeah, are you looking forward to working with all those guys?

• 1:07:30Travis Kelce?

Yeah, I mean, everybody's rock and roll. And you know, when I, I met the D coordinator, Shula, he was like, no, we don't want you to be anything different. You know, you be yourself and.

• 1:07:38Speaker 02

  It's good coaching.

• 1:07:40Travis Kelce?

Please, just be you. Just be you.

• 1:07:43Speaker 02

  23 sacks.

• 1:07:45Travis Kelce?

Hey, we want you in the right direction. We're just firing you. Different. I'd say I'm just happy to go out there and be myself. I was worried they'll have me stand up, you know, maybe drop one or two times, but now they said we're firing you at all times. Yeah. Oh, thank God, he is not gonna cover me. No, seriously, out of the 23 sacks, the records, record-setting, record-breaking 23 sacks last year.

• 1:08:12Travis Kelce?

Of the 23, did you have a favorite?

• 1:08:16Speaker 05

  Ooh, I like this one.

• 1:08:18Travis Kelce?

Did I have a favorite? Like, was there one you got up and you were just like, "Ooh, I'm cold as motherfucker"?

• 1:08:28Travis Kelce?

That might have been all of the Baltimore game. Cause chasing Lamar's ass around is tough enough, but getting him four times was great. And so, once I got him to put a four time, I was like, "Oh, I'm feeling myself today." Yeah, baby, yeah.

• 1:08:42Speaker 05

  There it is.

• 1:08:42Travis Kelce?

I can relate. I once scored four touchdowns in one game.

• 1:08:48Travis Kelce?

They call that the Al Bundy.

• 1:08:50Speaker 05

  Yeah, Al Bundy.

• 1:08:52Travis Kelce?

  The old Al Bundy.

• 1:08:53Speaker 05

  I scored a touchdown a game.

• 1:08:55Travis Kelce?

Ooh, you got a little thick six?

• 1:08:57Speaker 05

I have a tutty, thick six, yeah.

• 1:08:59Travis Kelce?

Were you, like, eligible, or did you come in as a tight end?

• 1:09:04Speaker 05

  In Pittsburgh on my birthday.

• 1:09:05Travis Kelce?

Ooh. See, that's why you need to know the players' birthdays.

• 1:09:10Speaker 05

  That's it, you gotta know.

• 1:09:12Travis Kelce?

The coaches will call that shit.

• 1:09:13Speaker 05

You got a veteran tackle and it's their birthday, you gotta know. That's a good bet.

• 1:09:16Speaker 02

All of a sudden, he's eligible?

• 1:09:17Speaker 05

  Rap King's bet, oh, yeah.

• 1:09:18Speaker 02

Alarm bell should be going out.

• 1:09:19Travis Kelce?

Every, every, every week, my birthday is, uh, is up. Coach Reed dialed, puts a play in the game plan called catching Kelsey.

• 1:09:30Travis Kelce?

I won't tell any of you what that is.

• 1:09:32Speaker 05

  Yeah, we wanna go there.

• 1:09:34Travis Kelce?

I mean, that's, that's great for y'all. We were trying to fight for contention to make the playoffs. Around my birthday. I'm glad they were planning something special.

• 1:09:41Speaker 02

Not as much fun happening in Cleveland. We do have some photos. Uh, Myles, we got a photo of you at the Dodgers game. We put this one up there, throwing out the first pitch.

• 1:09:50Travis Kelce?

Hey, where did this come from, dawg? Did you, did you grow up playing baseball? You hummed that son of a bucket, man.

• 1:09:56Speaker 05

He did, I was very impressed.

• 1:09:58Travis Kelce?

I played, like, four games of baseball in my life.

• 1:10:01Speaker 02

Are there any other L.A. bucket list items you're looking forward to knocking off?

• 1:10:04Travis Kelce?

  Bucket list items?

• 1:10:05Speaker 02

  Anything in L.A., Venice Beach?

• 1:10:08Travis Kelce?

Do not sit down on the park. Do not sit down on the park. I'm a nerd, bro. I want to go to like the observatory.

• 1:10:14Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:10:15Travis Kelce?

Yeah. I want to go to the Peterson like car museum. There we go. I want to take some hikes. I like taking my camera out.

• 1:10:21Speaker 05

Yeah, gotta get on the hikes. The hikes, that's it. Gotta get some canyon shots, you know? Take some hikes.

• 1:10:26Speaker 02

  You've been inhabiting LA longer.

• 1:10:28Speaker 05

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:10:28Speaker 02

What is the must do when you're in LA?

• 1:10:33Speaker 02

  Whoa!

• 1:10:33Speaker 05

  Tokyo, alright.

• 1:10:34Speaker 02

  That came out of nowhere!

• 1:10:36Speaker 05

  Yeah, I like that.

• 1:10:37Speaker 02

  Why Little Tokyo? Suits, okay?

• 1:10:41Travis Kelce?

I do love anime. I appreciate the shout out.

• 1:10:43Speaker 05

  See? There you go.

• 1:10:45Travis Kelce?

Wait, is the anime different in Tokyo?

• 1:10:47Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 1:10:47Speaker 02

  That's where it's from.

• 1:10:48Travis Kelce?

Little Tokyo. Little Tokyo, Little Anime, nice.

• 1:10:52Speaker 02

  Little Anime.

• 1:10:57Travis Kelce?

That was good, that was good.

• 1:10:59Speaker 02

Um, we have another photo here?

• 1:11:04Travis Kelce?

  That was a good shot.

• 1:11:06Speaker 02

So, for those of you that don't know, uh, this is Miles when he was in high school.

• 1:11:11Travis Kelce?

Shut up. That's a goddamn grown man. Get his birth certificate.

• 1:11:15Speaker 02

  That's right.

• 1:11:15Travis Kelce?

Wow. That was me with my, my starting offensive line. Wow. Well, I gotta ask, this guy that's closest to you right here on your right, is that, well, how far did he make it in football?

• 1:11:31Speaker 05

  Ben Jones.

• 1:11:33Travis Kelce?

Did you call the guy all the way on the right red?

• 1:11:36Speaker 02

  Ben Jones, that's me.

• 1:11:38Speaker 05

  No question.

• 1:11:39Travis Kelce?

These guys were killing it in, in 10th grade, I tell you.

• 1:11:42Speaker 02

There's only four of them. Did you eat the fifth offensive lineman?

• 1:11:46Speaker 05

  Confused.

• 1:11:47Travis Kelce?

Obviously, the guy next to me got to him before I could.

• 1:11:50Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 1:11:52Travis Kelce?

How many sacks did you have that year? 100?

• 1:11:56Speaker 02

  Alright, alright.

• 1:11:57Travis Kelce?

  24 to be exact.

• 1:11:58Speaker 02

We're gonna move to a clip.

• 1:11:59Travis Kelce?

  20.

• 1:12:00Speaker 02

We, we just brought this up a second ago, cause in, as every center looked in horror after this happened. We're gonna put this one up real quick.

• 1:12:10Travis Kelce?

  Oh, God.

• 1:12:11Speaker 05

  Oh, no. Joe, run, Joe.

• 1:12:14Speaker 02

So, first of all, I want to give Ted Karras some shout out, like.

• 1:12:19Speaker 05

  Gee.

• 1:12:19Speaker 02

Ted Karras, the center for the Bengals, great player. This is horrifying.

• 1:12:27Speaker 04

At this point, you're screaming middle, like, just help.

• 1:12:29Speaker 02

I'm sliding this. I'm going to get Ted so much. A play back, a play back.

• 1:12:35Speaker 04

  Everybody squeeze.

• 1:12:36Travis Kelce?

Just tell everybody on the line. Guys, it's not that bad.

• 1:12:40Speaker 02

Dude, are you kidding me? Sir, what are you doing? You're playing basketball. I mean, I would just be like, what is happening?

• 1:12:49Speaker 02

I can only imagine what's going on in Ted's head right now.

• 1:12:51Speaker 04

Holy shit, that's what he said.

• 1:12:55Speaker 02

I didn't see this on tape, I didn't see it.

• 1:12:57Travis Kelce?

He knows the snap count. He can play the game. I'm just happy.

• 1:13:00Speaker 04

Snap count ain't helping him right there, I tell you right now.

• 1:13:02Travis Kelce?

Jason couldn't stop my fucking hook shot.

• 1:13:04Speaker 02

It's like doing crossovers right before the ball is snapped.

• 1:13:07Travis Kelce?

Yo, if I see that and I'm a center, the ball not getting snapped.

• 1:13:10Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:13:11Travis Kelce?

  We're just going to test.

• 1:13:11Speaker 02

False alarm, false alarm. I missed the snap count, coach.

• 1:13:14Travis Kelce?

  That's all on me.

• 1:13:17Travis Kelce?

What's crazy is that I've actually seen you, you play basketball a lot. I do. He's a big hooper. I've seen him in Cavaliers jersey and you literally look like a Monstar in a Cavaliers jersey. Like, growing up, was that something that you felt like helped translate into the football field? Or like, did you seriously take basketball serious in terms of something that you wanted to pursue? I love basketball. No, that is my first love as far as sports. Like, my dad played, my brother played professionally. So, I grew up watching him, but also training with him. And, you know, just working on my explosiveness, you know, trying to dunk, but also that lateral quickness, getting from left to right with their defensive slides or, you know, that first step off a dribble.

• 1:14:01Travis Kelce?

And I think that all translates, you know, Lisa, stuff like that.

• 1:14:06Speaker 04

That's all we had to do.

• 1:14:07Travis Kelce?

That man brought the Iverson crossover to the NFL.

• 1:14:09Speaker 02

That's what was holding me back.

• 1:14:10Speaker 04

That was it. We needed more of that, Jay, that's what it was.

• 1:14:14Travis Kelce?

Put your kids in basketball, is what I heard.

• 1:14:17Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:14:19Speaker 04

Play it all, baby, play it all.

• 1:14:21Travis Kelce?

  And baseball is easy, obviously.

• 1:14:23Speaker 02

  Wait, you were...

• 1:14:27Speaker 02

  Hitting a ball is...

• 1:14:28Travis Kelce?

Hitting a ball is the hardest thing in all of sports.

• 1:14:30Speaker 02

  Yes, yes, yes, yes.

• 1:14:30Travis Kelce?

You trying to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?

• 1:14:33Speaker 02

Wait, you were a multi-sport athlete as well. Obviously, you golf now, but you were a tennis player growing up, right?

• 1:14:37Travis Kelce?

  I wasn't.

• 1:14:38Speaker 02

I remember talking about this with you. Are you a big multi-sport believer as well?

• 1:14:41Speaker 04

I am a big multi-sport believer. The tennis story is a little bit of a stretch. But I won a tennis camp when I was like 11. I might have stretched that story a little bit to the

• 1:14:54Speaker 04

when I was at LSU and when I went to the combine team started asking me about being a junior tennis champion and I was like, shoot. I might have.

• 1:15:03Speaker 02

Junior, I was the senior tennis champion.

• 1:15:06Speaker 04

I might have stretched that story a little too much.

• 1:15:08Speaker 02

No, you guys got to double down at that point. Yes, I am.

• 1:15:11Speaker 04

  Yeah, I was.

• 1:15:13Speaker 04

Look it up. There's no records.

• 1:15:17Speaker 02

All right, we have another video that we're gonna play.

• 1:15:19Travis Kelce?

  We have more.

• 1:15:21Speaker 02

I mean, you got a lot of good highlights. We gotta use them. This is from a game.

• 1:15:26Speaker 04

  Holy shit.

• 1:15:29Travis Kelce?

I beat him on the clearance inside last series.

• 1:15:33Speaker 02

  Jordan, Jordan.

• 1:15:39Travis Kelce?

Y'all really be snitching like that, too.

• 1:15:41Speaker 02

Oh, my God, are you kidding me? The funny thing is too, and you know this.

• 1:15:44Travis Kelce?

This fan's playing a different game, man.

• 1:15:46Speaker 02

The only way he's getting that out that quick is if he knows he's gonna get beat before it even happens. He's like, oh, crap, I'm one on one. Run, Jordan, run. Like, he's preemptively had that in his head.

• 1:15:58Travis Kelce?

It's like in Happy Gilmore when Happy's about to get hit by that little water beagle, then Happy, watch out.

• 1:16:03Speaker 04

  That's it. You gotta scream.

• 1:16:05Speaker 02

It does blow my mind how many teams I see not adjust game plans sometimes. I mean, most teams do. Right? But the fact that like you're getting any one on one matches ever, like it just like it. Why would you give somebody the opportunity to ruin a game?

• 1:16:20Travis Kelce?

That was like my first of three singles in that game.

• 1:16:23Speaker 02

  Really?

• 1:16:24Travis Kelce?

And we wasted it on him scrambling out and throwing it into the dirt.

• 1:16:27Speaker 02

So you're kind of like Barry Bonds when they would just intentionally walk him all day and then they go to one time. It's like boom, oh, yeah, we're gonna go back to walking him.

• 1:16:35Travis Kelce?

  I need one pitch.

• 1:16:37Speaker 02

What would your game plan be against a rusher like this?

• 1:16:41Speaker 04

Uh, probably spending a lot of time that week just yelling at the quarterback about where he was gonna stand in the pocket every play and how fast the ball had to come out. Cause I gotta have one way to win, right? So all right, if he beats me beats me around the edge all game, I'll take it. You just gotta get the balls gotta be out of your hand. So let's pick a depth and let's let's do it, right? So I'm all over the quarterback all week. That way, if I ever do get beat inside, I just scream his name like that because you're screwed.

• 1:17:09Travis Kelce?

I hate it. I hate it when you guys are in sync. You know, if you beat a guy, you beat two guys and you're like, "All right, quarterback's thinking, I can stand wherever I want." But facing a guy like Drew Brees or like Joe, he's like, "Yo, I'mma be at five yards."

• 1:17:22Speaker 02

  Yep.

• 1:17:22Travis Kelce?

  Just don't lose within five.

• 1:17:24Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 1:17:24Travis Kelce?

  It kills me.

• 1:17:25Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:17:26Speaker 04

Yeah. That's the whole point, Miles. Do not beat a quarterback.

• 1:17:29Travis Kelce?

I'm, I'm already going through two, three guys. The least you can do is like stand at eight yards.

• 1:17:33Speaker 04

  That's not my problem.

• 1:17:35Speaker 02

Wait, you know what's funny is, is AD used to do the same thing. AD would get mad at me.

• 1:17:40Travis Kelce?

  Yep.

• 1:17:40Speaker 02

He'd be like, "Kelsey, he's a grown man. Why are you coming over here and helping?" I'm like, "What are you, I'm not gonna let you ruin the game, Aaron." He talks you down.

• 1:17:48Travis Kelce?

He got a family and a mortgage.

• 1:17:49Speaker 02

  No.

• 1:17:49Travis Kelce?

  They can't themselves.

• 1:17:50Speaker 02

We got families and mortgages too.

• 1:17:52Speaker 04

  My kids gotta eat too.

• 1:17:54Travis Kelce?

Jason's got four of them things.

• 1:17:58Speaker 02

So we did just bring up AD.

• 1:18:00Travis Kelce?

  Ooh.

• 1:18:01Speaker 04

This is what I'm here for.

• 1:18:02Travis Kelce?

Those of you that don't know AD, talk about Aaron Donald, the other MVP of the NFL, the other guy that also won a championship for the Rams and he's sacked, God, and keep going, Jason.

• 1:18:15Speaker 02

  Has there been any contact?

• 1:18:19Travis Kelce?

  Any correspondence?

• 1:18:21Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:18:24Speaker 02

  Whoa.

• 1:18:24Travis Kelce?

  Don't do it.

• 1:18:25Speaker 02

  Oh, that's a Chiefs fan.

• 1:18:29Speaker 04

  Do it after December.

• 1:18:32Speaker 02

Or just any other fan of the NFL.

• 1:18:34Travis Kelce?

  I don't wanna press him.

• 1:18:35Speaker 02

  Why not?

• 1:18:37Travis Kelce?

Cause I want him, I want him to find that part.

• 1:18:38Speaker 04

I'm pressing in full court. I'm just telling y'all right now. All right?

• 1:18:42Speaker 02

  That's why.

• 1:18:42Speaker 04

  I press him every day.

• 1:18:43Speaker 02

Now that I'm fully retired, I really wanna see it.

• 1:18:48Travis Kelce?

Are you just gonna unleash this on everyone else?

• 1:18:50Speaker 02

Yes. I'm, I'm in a watch and great happiness knowing that I am not out on the field trying to deal with that.

• 1:18:55Travis Kelce?

Pretty fucked up, Jason. He walked away from the game feeling so fulfilled. Like, man, I've done everything. I've won everything. I done beat everybody. It's like, all right, I, I don't need anything more. If he, if he looks up, he's like, huh, I might need another one. And he's like, "MG, you wanna run it?" True, why not? I mean, where was the Super Bowl last time he won it?

• 1:19:20Speaker 04

I mean, go two for two at SoFi, sounds kinda fun.

• 1:19:22Travis Kelce?

I don't think he should come back.

• 1:19:24Speaker 04

  Why not?

• 1:19:25Travis Kelce?

I think he's good, guys. I think he's good. He's hanging around, enjoying life. There's a lot to do. Look at Jason. Jason's out of the house doing shit.

• 1:19:33Speaker 04

  He's dunking.

• 1:19:33Travis Kelce?

A lot of shit you could do. Yeah, he's dunking. He's never tried.

• 1:19:37Speaker 04

  Playing goalie in soccer?

• 1:19:38Travis Kelce?

Look at this Jason. That's what Aaron's doing. He's done everything in the NFL.

• 1:19:41Speaker 02

There are two people I think of that, when people ask me routinely, like, who are the toughest people you blocked? Thankfully, I never had to block you. Very happy about that. Aaron Donald, really didn't have to block him either. I was double teaming with a guard almost every single time. Those, you are the two players who really have been the most game-changing defensive linemen in this era of football. To think that both of you might be on the same line.

• 1:20:06Travis Kelce?

With the rest of that fucking Rams defensive line.

• 1:20:09Speaker 04

  Not fair.

• 1:20:09Travis Kelce?

Like, it's not like everybody else is just like chopped liver, yeah.

• 1:20:13Speaker 04

Our other guys, our other guys are special.

• 1:20:15Travis Kelce?

  Fucking dogs, yeah.

• 1:20:16Speaker 02

We gotta start teaming up as linemen. I don't think anybody would be at all as feared, is what's happening.

• 1:20:22Speaker 04

  Zero. All right. Chance.

• 1:20:25Travis Kelce?

Jason and Big Whit, if Aaron Donald comes out, you guys gotta come and play for the Chiefs.

• 1:20:35Speaker 02

You already got a good center. You don't need no more helping center.

• 1:20:38Speaker 04

Can we just bring water to everybody? My insurance is up after this year, so.

• 1:20:45Speaker 02

  Hey, that's a big milestone.

• 1:20:47Speaker 04

Yeah, year five. I lose my health insurance. I mean, just tell Andy, you know what I mean?

• 1:20:55Speaker 04

  One game.

• 1:20:56Travis Kelce?

I do, I do wanna know, because, obviously, 23 fucking sacks, you've been a game changer since you're the first overall fucking pick. Who was it on the D-lines in the, in growing up? Did you model your game after, or who did you take things from? Where did it all start to where you really got the wheels turning and you were like, oh man, I can do this if I just, you know, do something that he does, or take from this person and that person? Or was it all just like, I'm gonna fucking cross over everybody?

• 1:21:26Speaker 04

  Um, Von Miller.

• 1:21:28Travis Kelce?

Yeah, there you go. I still think Von Miller is the most aesthetically pleasing pass rusher I've ever seen. As far as like what he can do, how he like orientates his body, the ghost rush. I mean, he can do pretty much any move and if he didn't have the injuries that he had, he would still be leading the NFL for his tenure as far as sacks.

• 1:21:56Speaker 02

  Von was like.

• 1:21:57Travis Kelce?

I got about that. I got to answer that bell numerous times and I did not answer that bell very well. Von Miller is a motherfucker, man. He can, like you were talking about how this guy can bend. Von had power and agility. He had the whole bit. Not to say he doesn't anymore. And he's a great dude. He ended up torturing me for my first probably six years of my career. And then came over to me one day, shook my hand. I was like, yeah, he's a nice guy. He had the glasses on. He wanted to talk about chicken. There you go. Yeah, he's got the chicken.

• 1:22:33Speaker 04

Loves his chicken farm, that's for sure. Can I ask him a question?

• 1:22:36Travis Kelce?

  Please.

• 1:22:37Speaker 04

I'm interested. So Miles, talk to me. In your short time in LA, right? You've only been in the locker room, in the building, a little bit. What's been your takeaway so far of coming to this place? Like you come, obviously, to a place, a lot of people think, a lot of expectations of this team even before you got there. Just your impressions, like of Sean, of the building, kind of what you've experienced.

• 1:22:56Travis Kelce?

Well, first I'll say, no, they were telling me that LA isn't a football town, but the reception we've been getting is amazing. So, thank you.

• 1:23:07Travis Kelce?

Secondly, the environment in that building is second to none. Like the way those guys rally around each other, the chemistry that they have, the work ethic. Like you see it every day and, no, they know exactly who they are and know what their expectations are for this year. And it's like they're locked and loaded and they looked at me as just another bullet in the gun and we're ready to go.

• 1:23:30Speaker 04

  I love it.

• 1:23:32Travis Kelce?

  Makes me excited.

• 1:23:34Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:23:35Travis Kelce?

Miles, before we get you out of here, we always ask all of our first time guests, man, what was their welcome to the NFL moment? You've probably had a bunch of moments that was everybody else's welcome to the NFL moment. But was there a welcome to the NFL moment, good or bad, or you know, just life changing for you?

• 1:23:55Travis Kelce?

Welcome to the NFL moment? I wouldn't say there was like a, like a play where somebody just whipped my ass, but I remember I was going against Taylor Luan. It was my first year and I knew he was bending the rules a little bit, you know, from what I had heard.

• 1:24:13Speaker 02

Smart player, smart player, smart player.

• 1:24:15Speaker 05

We call that a, we call that a wildly veteran in the O-line room.

• 1:24:19Travis Kelce?

We line up and it's like, it's like first and 10 and I line up tight. I know that the run's coming. They got freaking Derrick Henry at that time and he, he you know, gets into a stance, he looks at me and spits right in my face.

• 1:24:36Speaker 02

  Wow.

• 1:24:37Travis Kelce?

Whoa, whoa. Welcome right to the NFL. And I was like, I promise, next time I see you, I'mma whip your ass. Damn.

• 1:24:47Speaker 05

Wow, that's Taylor, sounds like Taylor.

• 1:24:50Speaker 02

Yep, well, there goes, uh, that was a very crazy story. I gotta, I gotta go.

• 1:24:55Travis Kelce?

  Sorry that happened.

• 1:24:56Speaker 05

So, one day we hear Taylor Luan's dead outside the street, we know what happened, right? He finally found him.

• 1:25:02Speaker 02

  Was that intentional?

• 1:25:03Travis Kelce?

Yeah, you did that on accident.

• 1:25:04Speaker 02

Well, outside of that, what, what does a, what's something a tackle does that really gives them the best chance of blocking you?

• 1:25:12Travis Kelce?

  God, thank God.

• 1:25:14Speaker 02

Is it getting off the ball? Is it holding?

• 1:25:18Travis Kelce?

  What about a tight end?

• 1:25:20Speaker 05

I'm starting to question these questions.

• 1:25:21Speaker 02

  Well, no, I'm just curious.

• 1:25:23Speaker 05

  I, I don't know what's happening here.

• 1:25:25Travis Kelce?

Well, you have been world traveling, let me switch it out of football. You have been world traveling, what is, what is some of the funnest like stuff that you've done just this year alone overseas? We've kind of seen you all over the place, but just in terms of this offseason before you came back and shocked the world with the move to the Rams, what have you been enjoying the most out of this offseason? I was.

• 1:25:46Speaker 02

  What was it?

• 1:25:48Travis Kelce?

  Chloe Kim.

• 1:25:49Speaker 02

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:25:51Speaker 04

  Well, I mean.

• 1:25:52Speaker 02

  There we go.

• 1:25:53Travis Kelce?

Went to the Olympics, was in Italy for the first time.

• 1:25:57Speaker 04

  Ooh.

• 1:25:58Travis Kelce?

  Watched her do amazing.

• 1:26:02Travis Kelce?

I was so proud of her. It was entirely too stressful being on the other side of things.

• 1:26:07Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:26:07Travis Kelce?

Are you behind the camera, you're taking shots and you're like freezing up because you're like, yo, she's 20 feet in the air.

• 1:26:13Speaker 04

  I can't hold my eyes.

• 1:26:15Travis Kelce?

She's coming so close to this freaking edge. I'm gonna have to run out there. I'm sliding down the half-pipe.

• 1:26:21Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:26:22Travis Kelce?

So it was, it was way too stressful, but she did amazing. I was, we were all so proud.

• 1:26:28Speaker 04

  Yeah, baby.

• 1:26:29Speaker 02

  Hell yeah, hell yeah.

• 1:26:32Travis Kelce?

And then we went to Japan and Korea together.

• 1:26:35Speaker 02

That's awesome. This brings up another conversation that I've seen your name involved with, basketball.

• 1:26:41Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:26:41Speaker 02

I am very much on record that I think that basketball players could assimilate to football easier than football players can go to basketball. You're one of the names I see brought up a lot that people think that you could go play in the NBA. Do you think you could play in the NBA?

• 1:26:57Travis Kelce?

If I lost about 30 pounds to keep up with the conditioning, absolutely. I think I could cut that and do that within a year.

• 1:27:03Speaker 04

Seen this guy jump? I have no question that he could do it.

• 1:27:05Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:27:06Travis Kelce?

  Now.

• 1:27:07Speaker 02

I've seen, I've seen the in-between the legs dunk.

• 1:27:09Travis Kelce?

  I just don't see.

• 1:27:11Speaker 02

  We are.

• 1:27:11Travis Kelce?

  I don't see.

• 1:27:12Speaker 02

Listen, I'm gonna shut this down right now. We cannot liability ways take on him trying to dunk. That is not happening.

• 1:27:19Speaker 04

All right, we've had schematic questions and now we're trying to.

• 1:27:22Speaker 02

There is not a chance I'm letting that one go. I will block it. I will block that.

• 1:27:26Travis Kelce?

  I wasn't booked for a skit today, I'm sorry.

• 1:27:28Speaker 02

  Yes, yes, yes.

• 1:27:30Speaker 04

Jason, I think he might be the anomaly.

• 1:27:32Speaker 02

  Huh?

• 1:27:33Speaker 04

In the football world, I think he might be the anomaly that could do both.

• 1:27:37Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:27:37Travis Kelce?

There, there are more athletic specimens as far as like explosiveness and being able to, to move in a variety of ways in the NFL. I mean, we take our vertical tests flat-footed and we're usually higher than the guys in the NBA. And I'm not saying that's all there is.

• 1:27:53Speaker 02

Everybody's short-arming that vertical. Tess, you know that. Miles?

• 1:27:57Travis Kelce?

I'm short arming him by eight inches.

• 1:27:59Speaker 02

  That's fair.

• 1:28:00Travis Kelce?

But you see all these athletic freaks, and even though they're usually like, I mean, you see DK, he's 6'5". You see me, I'm 6'5", but you see, you know, DBs who are jumping 47, 46, and they're, they're 6'1", 6' foot. You telling me those guys, if you didn't give them enough training with a basketball, couldn't go out there and be a, uh, maybe a six man?

• 1:28:22Speaker 02

  Rotational guy?

• 1:28:23Travis Kelce?

Yeah, rotational guy. I, I just don't believe Marcus Smart could line up in the three tech, or the five, and do what I'm doing.

• 1:28:31Speaker 02

I think Marcus is playing a lot like Tyrell Luan though. He's doing some mental gymnastics.

• 1:28:37Travis Kelce?

And I got respectful of Marcus. He didn't grow up far from where I was born.

• 1:28:40Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 1:28:40Travis Kelce?

I'm running through his fucking face.

• 1:28:43Travis Kelce?

There you have it. Ladies and gentlemen, Myles Garrett and Andrew Whitworth.

• 1:29:00Travis Kelce?

You guys enjoying the show tonight?

• 1:29:06Travis Kelce?

  I got it. I know I did.

• 1:29:09Speaker 02

Guys, I cannot thank you enough for coming out here and witnessing me dunk for the first time.

• 1:29:13Travis Kelce?

  Oh, you did it, brother.

• 1:29:17Speaker 02

Um, I, really quick, before we get out here, we have some things to wrap up. I do want to give a quick shout out. This night would not have been possible without Enterprise and Xfinity for sponsoring the show.

• 1:29:26Travis Kelce?

  Woo!

• 1:29:28Speaker 02

And the Enterprise in particular for sponsoring that great penalty kick right there with Alex Morgan, Kelly O'Hara. Thank you so much, guys, for making this possible and making this night fun. Thank you so much to you guys. All of our guests for coming out.

• 1:29:43Travis Kelce?

  Hold on, 92%.

• 1:29:46Speaker 02

Out of the house. What happened to the Japanese maple? Oh my gosh, we have to get it back.

• 1:29:53Travis Kelce?

We can't thank you guys enough. The last time I was in LA, uh, Jason, uh, and I went down the street and, uh, I was a very picky eater. And there was a bit that, uh, came out on New Heights not too long ago about how I liked airplane noises when I ate.

• 1:30:10Travis Kelce?

Yeah, it's kind of fucked up, actually. Like, I was a child. A child, getting fed food, so we have a fun clip for you here.

• 1:30:17Speaker 02

I feel like, and we won't use this in the episode, but I feel like Taylor has definitely expanded your...

• 1:30:23Speaker 07

I gotta use it now. I gotta use it.

• 1:30:23Travis Kelce?

You can fucking use it. There's nothing wrong with that.

• 1:30:26Speaker 02

  I feel like...

• 1:30:27Speaker 07

Have you grown up since you know wrong with it?

• 1:30:29Speaker 03

  He's more adventurous with food.

• 1:30:31Travis Kelce?

Yeah, I'm trying to act like one's a man when I'm around her and eating foods I haven't tried before, yes.

• 1:30:35Speaker 07

When she does the little airplane noises, I like it.

• 1:30:40Speaker 03

Well, what if it's an airplane in the trunk?

• 1:30:49Speaker 03

  It's landing.

• 1:30:50Travis Kelce?
