Hi, my name is Julia. I'm 27 years old, from Nashville, Tennessee, and this is Financial Audit.

• 1:24Caleb Hammer?

Thanks for coming down from Nashville. What do you do for a living up there?

• 1:28Speaker 03

  I do customer service.

• 1:30Caleb Hammer?

Okay, just flat-line customer service, customer service manager? What are we in that scale?

• 1:37Speaker 03

Um, I just do like, kind of...

• 1:43Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah?

• 1:43Speaker 03

Um, it's like customer service, it's not like the...

• 1:50Speaker 03

  I help customers.

• 1:53Caleb Hammer?

  Uh-huh.

• 1:56Caleb Hammer?

Okay, and what are you paid through helping customers?

• 2:02Speaker 03

  Wait, can we start over?

• 2:04Caleb Hammer?

  Uh, no.

• 2:04Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 2:05Caleb Hammer?

  It's okay, you're okay, you're okay.

• 2:07Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 2:08Caleb Hammer?

No, take a second, you can breathe, you can breathe. Uh, it's okay. But what do you make?

• 2:12Speaker 03

I make fifty thousand a year.

• 2:14Caleb Hammer?

Oh, okay, not bad. Hmm, Nashville, a little expensive. Uh, as far as the Tennessee area.

• 2:20Speaker 03

I did just get a three percent raise though, so it'll be like fifty one fifty.

• 2:24Caleb Hammer?

It's kinda like just a cost of living or is, or, yeah. Uh, but even still, that is good, it's better than no raise, for sure. So what hits your account on a monthly basis?

• 2:35Speaker 03

Um, so I actually just like switched my W two, so it's gonna be a little bit different going forward.

• 2:41Caleb Hammer?

  Switched?

• 2:42Speaker 03

Yeah, not switched, but like I think I had filled it out incorrectly, so like I was getting more taxes taken out than I should have had.

• 2:48Caleb Hammer?

Okay, sure, which gave you a bigger refund.

• 2:50Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 2:51Caleb Hammer?

But obviously, that's not how we wanna do it.

• 2:53Speaker 03

Right. Um, so now that that's updated, it should be closer to seventeen fifty per check.

• 3:00Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, perfect, seventeen fifty.

• 3:01Speaker 03

But that's not with the raise also, so.

• 3:04Caleb Hammer?

  So seventeen fifty.

• 3:07Speaker 03

Maybe like eighteen, yeah, I would say eighteen.

• 3:09Caleb Hammer?

  Every two weeks?

• 3:10Speaker 03

  Every two weeks.

• 3:10Caleb Hammer?

Cool. So we're looking at about three thousand six hundred dollars. How we living in that Tennessee? Off of three thousand six hundred bucks a month, sometimes a little more?

• 3:20Speaker 03

  Um, it's pretty good.

• 3:23Caleb Hammer?

  Pretty good?

• 3:23Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 3:24Caleb Hammer?

It can't be pretty good. I mean, you're, you've been accepted to come on the show, it literally cannot be pretty good.

• 3:30Speaker 03

Yeah, it could be, it could be better.

• 3:32Caleb Hammer?

Let you know now. Yeah, it could be. So what's, what's wrong? What's going on? So this is single household income?

• 3:39Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 3:39Caleb Hammer?

Okay, are there any dependents or anything?

• 3:42Speaker 03

Yes, I do have a son.

• 3:44Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, how old's your kid?

• 3:45Speaker 03

  He's seven.

• 3:46Caleb Hammer?

  You're, so you're a single mom?

• 3:48Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 3:48Caleb Hammer?

  You get child support?

• 3:49Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 3:50Caleb Hammer?

Oh, what do you receive there?

• 3:52Speaker 03

That is five fourteen a month.

• 3:54Caleb Hammer?

Not much. Are you full custody?

• 3:56Speaker 03

Um, we have joint, so it's eighty percent me and then like twenty percent with his dad.

• 4:03Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, with the kids then?

• 4:04Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 4:05Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so that's why it's kinda low at that five fourteen a month.

• 4:09Speaker 03

Yeah. Yeah, cuz he does have a little bit more time with him.

• 4:13Caleb Hammer?

What's going on? What's going on? Cuz this is fu-

• 4:18Speaker 03

  It's fu-

• 4:19Caleb Hammer?

Buddy. You're like not fucking paying your debt, are you kidding me? It's- You don't know it's- Well, you don't know it's-

• 4:26Speaker 03

  It feels-

• 4:27Caleb Hammer?

She doesn't know it's- Okay. No, it's okay. So what's going on in, uh, your, uh, just in your version of your life?

• 4:35Speaker 03

  Hmm.

• 4:35Caleb Hammer?

And your perception of reality? What, what we got? What we got going on?

• 4:40Speaker 03

Um. It does, it does feel a little bit-

• 4:46Caleb Hammer?

You just said everything was pretty chill or alright.

• 4:49Speaker 03

Well, I'm still like alive and-

• 4:53Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 4:54Speaker 03

  I'm paying my bills.

• 4:57Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but you're also not really providing much of a future for the kid. As well, at the same time, I know there's not really any savings for you. I know there's not any kinda support system for him.

• 5:08Speaker 03

  Right.

• 5:12Caleb Hammer?

You're getting into a more dangerous situation as you're going out and there are all these literally no payment debts.

• 5:19Speaker 03

  Um, I'm trying my best.

• 5:21Caleb Hammer?

  You are?

• 5:22Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 5:23Caleb Hammer?

  You are?

• 5:23Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 5:24Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 5:28Caleb Hammer?

  What's trying our best?

• 5:31Speaker 03

  Um.

• 5:32Caleb Hammer?

We had almost seven hundred bucks of just miscellaneous bull- spending. So.

• 5:37Speaker 03

  Seven hundred?

• 5:38Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, is that trying our- Is that trying our best? Uh, is missing a-

• 5:45Caleb Hammer?

You know. Forty dollar payment trying our best? When we have a kid? Is that trying our best?

• 5:52Speaker 03

Um. Sometimes like things happen and it's not like all the time.

• 5:58Caleb Hammer?

  Things happen?

• 5:59Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 5:59Caleb Hammer?

Well, yes, you are a human being. On this planet, things happen. So we act like an adult and we be prepared for these things to happen. Okay, so you are not doing that?

• 6:16Speaker 03

  Um, I should be.

• 6:22Speaker 03

I guess my spending could be probably a little bit more controlled like on certain things.

• 6:27Caleb Hammer?

Why aren't you controlling your spending? What's happening?

• 6:30Speaker 03

  Um.

• 6:31Caleb Hammer?

I'm just trying to get a little perspective, a little microscope into that life of yours. What is going on?

• 6:37Speaker 03

  Well, I.

• 6:39Caleb Hammer?

  You say you're trying.

• 6:41Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 6:42Caleb Hammer?

We're missing very small payments and we're spending about seven hundred dollars on miscellaneous bullshit. So I would say eh, incorrect. What is going on?

• 6:52Speaker 03

Hmm, I guess I just don't pay enough attention to where my money is going.

• 6:57Caleb Hammer?

What does that mean? What does it look like on a monthly basis when money goes places? What does that look like? How does that happen for you?

• 7:04Speaker 03

Basically, whenever my like bills are paid, like rent is paid and then like any money that I have left over, I just kind of spend. Spend it.

• 7:17Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so how much came in? Income wise?

• 7:23Speaker 03

Are you asking me? Oh, um.

• 7:27Caleb Hammer?

Well, I'm asking them. The, the camera was over there. I pointed at the camera.

• 7:33Caleb Hammer?

  Yes. How much came in?

• 7:36Speaker 03

Um, thirty five, th- thirty eight hundred?

• 7:42Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, thirty nine.

• 7:43Speaker 03

  Thirty nine?

• 7:44Caleb Hammer?

Okay. Cool. Livable. Nice. How much did you spend?

• 7:50Speaker 03

  Probably four, four thousand.

• 7:53Caleb Hammer?

Why would you spend more than came in? Three thousand nine hundred comes in, four thousand out? Why would you spend more?

• 8:02Speaker 03

Um, because I feel like I can.

• 8:09Caleb Hammer?

Huh? You feel like you can spend more than comes in?

• 8:13Speaker 03

  Um, well, I am.

• 8:15Caleb Hammer?

Are you okay? You're talking that Celsius. Are you like? Woo woo, like where, where's, where's, where's the brain right now?

• 8:22Speaker 03

  It's here.

• 8:23Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you spent six thousand four hundred fourteen dollars.

• 8:26Speaker 03

  How much?

• 8:27Caleb Hammer?

  Six thousand four hundred fourteen.

• 8:32Speaker 03

Six thousand four hundred and fourteen.

• 8:38Speaker 03

  How?

• 8:41Caleb Hammer?

  How?

• 8:42Speaker 03

  How?

• 8:43Caleb Hammer?

We haven't gone, I have, we'll go through your documents and we'll find out how, but I already told you you spent seven hundred dollars just on miscellaneous bull, you spend seven hundred dollars, let's see, the income is thirty eight, normally thirty six, so it's called thirty six. That's already twenty percent of your income, right there, twenty percent!

• 9:04Speaker 03

  Twenty percent.

• 9:09Caleb Hammer?

Uh, okay. I just need you, just, please, explain what is going on in your life.

• 9:17Speaker 03

  Something bad happened to me.

• 9:21Speaker 03

I got in a small fender bender with another car.

• 9:26Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 9:27Speaker 03

Um, I was like at a red light and I was coming to a stop, but I didn't stop like right in time. So my car kind of like bumped into the back of another car.

• 9:39Caleb Hammer?

  How, how, how fast?

• 9:41Speaker 03

Uh, it wasn't fast, it was like, maybe like five miles an hour.

• 9:44Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 9:45Speaker 03

Um, there was like no damages or like anything that happened, um, nobody was

• 9:50Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 9:51Speaker 03

  Yeah, um, but

• 9:53Caleb Hammer?

  The issue?

• 9:54Speaker 03

There, the issue is that there was like a lapse in my insurance coverage.

• 9:59Caleb Hammer?

  No!

• 10:00Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 10:01Caleb Hammer?

  Why?

• 10:02Speaker 03

  Um.

• 10:02Caleb Hammer?

  How much of a lapse?

• 10:04Speaker 03

Um, probably like a couple weeks.

• 10:07Caleb Hammer?

Why? Aren't you on top of it?

• 10:10Speaker 03

I think I forgot to pay it.

• 10:11Caleb Hammer?

You forget to pay everything! Everything in here is forget to pay!

• 10:16Speaker 03

Sometimes, uh, yeah, there's things that

• 10:18Caleb Hammer?

Sometimes as in almost everything in here!

• 10:21Speaker 03

  Almost everything?

• 10:22Caleb Hammer?

Oh my, you don't know, you, you, you, you legitimately don't know.

• 10:28Speaker 03

Well, the, my insurance, it was like a, kind of like a pay by week type of thing.

• 10:34Caleb Hammer?

  Weekly insurance?

• 10:36Speaker 03

Yeah, it's like cheaper that way.

• 10:38Caleb Hammer?

  No, no, no.

• 10:40Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 10:41Caleb Hammer?

No way, cause if you pay biannually, that's how it's cheaper, are you saying like per mile that you're driving?

• 10:47Speaker 03

No, like the days I'm driving.

• 10:53Caleb Hammer?

What was your insurance payment on average on a weekly basis?

• 10:58Speaker 03

Like thirty or thirty-five dollars a week.

• 11:00Caleb Hammer?

  Forty-five?

• 11:01Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 11:03Speaker 03

  But that's not-

• 11:03Caleb Hammer?

It's not crazy, it's like a hundred eighty bucks.

• 11:05Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 11:06Caleb Hammer?

Why can't you just pay that monthly?

• 11:08Speaker 03

I feel like it's gonna be more expensive.

• 11:10Caleb Hammer?

Okay, why is it on auto pay then?

• 11:14Speaker 03

  Yeah, that's probably my-

• 11:16Caleb Hammer?

You have a kid, child, seven, kid, child, seven, kid, child, seven!

• 11:21Speaker 03

I should probably have better insurance.

• 11:24Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you should probably have, uh, insurance. In general, like, maybe we don't have laps in that when we're fucking smashing into bumpers. Okay, so what happened?

• 11:33Speaker 03

Basically, like, since I didn't have insurance, I... Nothing happened at the scene, but then like a couple months later, I got a letter in the mail, um, it was from a subrogation company.

• 11:46Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 11:47Speaker 03

And they told me that I owe for medical damages. Since I didn't have insurance, I have to pay that.

• 11:55Caleb Hammer?

Medical for the person you hit?

• 11:56Speaker 03

Mm-hmm. But there was, there was no-

• 11:59Caleb Hammer?

  What are they claiming?

• 12:00Speaker 03

  Um, forty-eight thousand.

• 12:06Speaker 03

Yeah, I don't understand how that's possible because there, nothing happened, like, everybody was fine, there was-

• 12:13Caleb Hammer?

Yes, but they may have gone to like an urgent care.

• 12:15Speaker 03

  How for forty-five thousand dollars?

• 12:18Caleb Hammer?

I don't know, American medical expenses are crazy, maybe it was auto network, who even fucking knows? I don't know. Did you not see what it was for, though? You just saw the number, you didn't see what it was for?

• 12:27Speaker 03

Yeah, they said, they just said medical expenses.

• 12:30Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but you didn't see what it was for?

• 12:31Speaker 03

No. The lady, when she called me, she was, "Do you wanna go ahead and, like, set up a payment plan?" And I was like, "No, no, I'm not gonna pay that." Like, there was no injuries, like, this is like a scam. So, they said if I don't start paying, that somehow they're gonna take my driver's license away.

• 12:52Caleb Hammer?

Is this, this isn't through... Do you have this, did you bring it?

• 12:56Speaker 03

I sent, I sent a picture of the letter, yeah.

• 12:58Caleb Hammer?

You sent it? Um, could I, could I get that in Slack? I don't know. Okay, I want to make sure, one, you're not getting scammed, two, they have the authority.

• 13:07Speaker 03

Well, I think like, I did like some research on it, and I think like, they have to like technically take me to court for it, and then like sue me, and then like if it's like.

• 13:18Caleb Hammer?

That would be my guess, but that's what I want to confirm.

• 13:20Speaker 03

Yeah, and so I guess they're gonna keep like sending me letters.

• 13:23Caleb Hammer?

Hey, make your payments! How about we do that and not get?

• 13:30Speaker 03

I'm trying to make my payments.

• 13:32Caleb Hammer?

You're not, you're, don't make any fucking payments. What are you talking about? You spent two thousand, two thousand five hundred dollars or three thousand dollars more than you're making on a monthly basis?

• 13:41Speaker 03

Maybe sometimes they're late, but they still get.

• 13:43Caleb Hammer?

Try. No, no, no, no, objectively, no. First document right here, lady, you are behind by.

• 13:53Speaker 03

I don't spend on the credit cards. There's only one credit card that I.

• 13:56Caleb Hammer?

I don't give a, you're not, you're not paying on the credit cards.

• 14:05Caleb Hammer?

  What?

• 14:07Speaker 03

Um, I, I cut up all the.

• 14:09Caleb Hammer?

You're behind five payments on this. I make my payments.

• 14:11Speaker 03

  Behind five?

• 14:13Caleb Hammer?

Probably just about. If I included the monthly fee and the payments, yeah, you equal about five.

• 14:17Speaker 03

  I don't think that's correct.

• 14:18Caleb Hammer?

  Well.

• 14:21Caleb Hammer?

You're not over the credit limit, there's, you're almost there, you will get above the.

• 14:25Speaker 03

Which one are you looking at?

• 14:26Caleb Hammer?

There's forty, there's forty dollars of fees being added on a monthly basis because you're not paying in the payment, and then the payment is forty two dollars. I see, also, they don't see the letter.

• 14:36Speaker 03

Oh, I sent it in a text message to Lindsay.

• 14:39Caleb Hammer?

  Lindsay will get that.

• 14:41Caleb Hammer?

So you combine both the fees and the minimum monthly payment that you should be making, combine them by two, and then divide that by the four thirty one, you're about five months, five months behind.

• 14:53Caleb Hammer?

Okay, we're starting at the bottom because it's just, it is okay to be ignorant.

• 16:17Caleb Hammer?

That is not like a crime and ignorant is better than knowing what's going wrong and purposely doing bad. So don't get me wrong.

• 16:23Speaker 03

  I know what's going on.

• 16:27Caleb Hammer?

The are you talking about? You don't. Explain what's going on with this card. Go ahead.

• 16:33Speaker 03

Which one is that? What's the balance?

• 16:36Caleb Hammer?

It's a Capital One Quicksilver One.

• 16:40Speaker 03

Is it like 4,000? Is it 4,000?

• 16:43Caleb Hammer?

What is going on with this card? You said you know what's going on with the card.

• 16:47Speaker 03

Okay, it should be four. It should be like 4,000.

• 16:49Caleb Hammer?

More than just a number. Tell me what the is going on with the card.

• 16:53Speaker 03

Okay, um, so this actually just happened to me like recently. Like I've never had a missed payment ever before. Like this is the first time I have a missed payment and I only know that because it's on my credit report now.

• 17:07Speaker 03

  Yeah, there's.

• 17:08Caleb Hammer?

That's beyond late because you can have late payments and not get that reported. You now have missed payments reported. That's, that's when it gets, that means you're behind. That means you're behind, behind.

• 17:22Caleb Hammer?

Alright, I have the letter that was slacked.

• 17:26Caleb Hammer?

  Uh, Wilburn Associates, oh!

• 17:28Speaker 03

  You see it?

• 17:29Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, so they're probably a legal group, let's see.

• 17:32Speaker 03

  I think so.

• 17:33Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 17:34Speaker 03

Have you heard of that company before?

• 17:35Caleb Hammer?

No, but I'm about to look them up. Oh, they're handing the claim offer on behalf of the USAA.

• 17:42Speaker 03

  Yeah, of the actual company.

• 17:45Speaker 03

Oh my god, is it actually like real? Like are they really gonna try to?

• 17:48Caleb Hammer?

Please report this lawsuit insurance character and write us the claim number, see? So you could have done that.

• 17:53Speaker 03

Yeah, but I didn't have it then.

• 17:55Caleb Hammer?

And they've already talked to you on the phone?

• 17:57Speaker 03

Mm-hmm, I think I might have like messed up on that, cuz like if I never answered the phone like maybe they would have never found me.

• 18:04Caleb Hammer?

Hmm, did you give them your address?

• 18:06Speaker 03

They asked me to confirm, well, okay, so they like listed out three.

• 18:09Caleb Hammer?

  Why the f-

• 18:10Speaker 03

  They, what?

• 18:12Caleb Hammer?

Why are you having that conversation and giving them that?

• 18:14Speaker 03

  Is that bad?

• 18:17Caleb Hammer?

No, why would you give them information regarding you, no matter who they are?

• 18:22Speaker 03

They listed out like three addresses and they were like, is this one of, are these one of your addresses? And I was like, no, my address is this.

• 18:29Caleb Hammer?

  It's a debt collections agency.

• 18:32Speaker 03

  Hmm.

• 18:33Caleb Hammer?

Hmm. Will they sue you for, how much?

• 18:37Speaker 03

  Forty-eight thousand?

• 18:38Caleb Hammer?

That's a lot of money, they actually might.

• 18:40Speaker 03

  Oh my god.

• 18:45Caleb Hammer?

  You're surprised?

• 18:46Speaker 03

But I'm, yeah, because forty-eight thousand dollars for what? It was like, it was like the it was like a tap.

• 18:52Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, uh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 18:54Speaker 03

Like there was not a scratch.

• 18:55Caleb Hammer?

The dude probably went and just got checked up or something, I don't know. Um...

• 19:00Speaker 03

  How does it-

• 19:00Caleb Hammer?

  I don't know, I don't know, was I there?

• 19:05Speaker 03

So what if like I just keep ignoring them and then I don't?

• 19:08Caleb Hammer?

Well, uh, certainly, um... Okay. Is this on your credit yet?

• 19:14Speaker 03

  Um, no.

• 19:17Speaker 03

There's no collections on my credit right now.

• 19:21Caleb Hammer?

Will they sell this? Or will they pursue legal?

• 19:25Speaker 03

What do you mean sell it?

• 19:27Caleb Hammer?

They could sell it for pennies on the dollar to a collections agency.

• 19:30Speaker 03

But aren't they a collections agency?

• 19:32Caleb Hammer?

Kind of, they're probably almost working as, almost, a- almost like an internal. Trying to get the full amount hired out, well, hmm.

• 19:48Speaker 03

I'm not paying that. That's crazy.

• 19:51Caleb Hammer?

Well, the, what if the court says you do?

• 19:54Speaker 03

  Well-

• 19:55Caleb Hammer?

  They'll take your sh-

• 19:59Speaker 03

Um, I can get a lawyer and then prove that that was-

• 20:02Caleb Hammer?

And what way are you gonna afford to get a lawyer? Spend double your income on a monthly basis.

• 20:08Speaker 03

Um, I can still prove probably that that is not accurate.

• 20:13Caleb Hammer?

You got into a reported crash. It was small, but you got into a reported crash. We don't know where the bill's coming from, that's what I wish we could do.

• 20:22Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 20:23Caleb Hammer?

Okay, I, I, I wish we had a connection with the legal group. What I will do is get you connected with our, uh, uh, with Domain Money Financial Advisors to at least see if they can have some extra guidance for this. You get a free session, uh, for being a guest on the show. And then just to talk about this whole situation, take advantage of three free sessions with Sounder Mind for therapy as well.

But even still, they might give you a good direction there. Thirty-eight thousand dollars, right?

• 21:21Speaker 03

  Forty-eight.

• 21:23Caleb Hammer?

Okay. What was the minimum monthly payment they suggested?

• 21:27Speaker 03

Um, they didn't even s- suggest that.

• 21:29Caleb Hammer?

They're probably gonna figure out how much you could reasonably make.

• 21:32Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 21:32Caleb Hammer?

First. Okay. That's crazy, dude. Do you have insurance now?

• 21:37Speaker 03

  I do. I do.

• 21:39Caleb Hammer?

And then, back to this card again. That you're behind dramatically. Quicksilver one. So let's get the whole information, for the sake of the audience. Oh, dude.

• 21:53Caleb Hammer?

This is Come on, this is crazy. You can't be living your life like this with a kid. Okay, $4,240.99. The minimum monthly payment of $431.14, normally $42, but you're behind about 4 or 2.

• 22:11Caleb Hammer?

The Why? And you say you know what's going on with cards. Why would this possibly be behind so much? Again, another $40 fee right there. $100 in interest, borderline on the credit limit. And you'll be there, and it's this past due fee, past due fee, past due fee, forever, forever, forever, and ever. Why? Why are you just not making a damn payment? Why not be on autopay? You don't make no money!

• 22:36Speaker 03

Mm-hmm. Well, like I said, this is like the first time that that's happened.

• 22:41Caleb Hammer?

  No, it's not! It's 5 months!

• 22:45Speaker 03

Are you sure it's 5 months?

• 22:46Caleb Hammer?

That's how the math is at least working!

• 22:49Speaker 03

  Um, I know it's probably like 2, 2 months.

• 22:53Caleb Hammer?

Math wouldn't add up like that.

• 22:55Speaker 03

Well, I ran, I guess I ran out of money and it got behind.

• 22:59Caleb Hammer?

Why? You make money. Why'd you run out of money?

• 23:01Speaker 03

Cause I'm paying everything by myself.

• 23:03Caleb Hammer?

What's everything by yourself? You do get child support, and you don't make insignificant amount of money. Especially for your age. I know you're a single mom, that part's harder, and a 7-year-old requires a little more at that point, because maybe they're doing some sports, extracurricular activities, school supplies, all that good stuff. I get it.

• 23:17Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 23:17Caleb Hammer?

But, even still, $700 in miscellaneous bills. Bullshit, bullshit. We'll go through it.

• 23:25Speaker 03

Yeah, I have a spending problem.

• 23:28Caleb Hammer?

So you didn't run out of money, because you have to take care of all the bills that I have to take care of alone.

• 23:37Speaker 03

Yeah, I I like to buy things for myself and I like to buy things for my son.

• 23:44Caleb Hammer?

Which I get the heart for, great, good.

• 23:47Speaker 03

When he asks me for something, it's hard for me to tell him no.

• 23:50Caleb Hammer?

Sure, well, it'd be hard to tell him no when you're like, oh shit, wait, we gotta leave because we're getting convicted because we can't pay our rent.

• 23:56Speaker 03

  Yeah, that would be worse.

• 23:57Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, that'd be worse.

• 23:59Speaker 03

  But that wouldn't happen.

• 24:00Caleb Hammer?

  Why?

• 24:01Speaker 03

Because I always make sure that my rent is paid.

• 24:04Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, for now, you just quote, "I ran out of money."

• 24:07Speaker 03

That was after my rent was paid.

• 24:09Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, what if it happens before your rent is paid next time? Do you not understand that sometimes things are a little different? Remember when you also told me at the beginning of the conversation? Things have happened. Yeah, what if things happen?

• 24:20Speaker 03

Well, I'll just figure it out.

• 24:21Caleb Hammer?

Don't be that fucking creature. I'll just figure it out. What is I just figure it out? What do you mean? How are you gonna figure it out? What is figuring it out? That doesn't make sense. I'll just figure it out. You know who hasn't just figured it out? People who get evicted! And that happens endlessly throughout this country, throughout almost every country. You think they just figured it out? No, they're gone.

• 24:43Speaker 03

Well, I I don't think they care about figuring it out.

• 24:47Caleb Hammer?

You're saying they don't give a shit about their house? And the roof over their head? And the kids that live there? Who the fuck are you? What do you mean?

• 24:55Speaker 03

I just feel like I'm, it's not gonna happen to me.

• 24:58Caleb Hammer?

I feel like it's not gonna, that's, that's fucking everything. That is every emergency. No one thinks an emergency is gonna happen. What do you think is not gonna happen to you? What do you think is special? Why do you think you're unique? You're unique in terms of you're not paying your debt like a fucking responsible adult. Even Americans with high credit card debt, they at least pay their minimum monthly payment. You're not, you're unique. You're a unique failure. In that case, absolutely, congratulations. But why do you think you're gonna be unique in terms of success? There's nothing to indicate any kind of success here. There's no success. Where's the success? Can you show me a pattern of success that would prove that you would be the person that is able to get out of that situation? I don't think so. I don't think so. 3.7 million eviction cases filed annually.

• 25:35Caleb Hammer?

  In the United States.

• 25:37Speaker 03

  Well, I'm not gonna.

• 25:37Caleb Hammer?

I'm sure some of them thought they could just figure it out.

• 25:41Speaker 03

Well, I'm not gonna lose my job, so I'm always gonna have enough money to cover.

• 25:46Caleb Hammer?

No, you lady, do you not remember your own fucking words that are coming out of your mouth? I ran out of money.

• 25:54Speaker 03

But then I get paid again.

• 25:56Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, what if that? You don't understand. Okay, what happens when a forty eight thousand dollar bill hits? Because you refuse to have insurance. Huh? How about that?

• 26:08Speaker 03

  I guess I'll file bankruptcy.

• 26:11Caleb Hammer?

  File bankruptcy?

• 26:13Speaker 03

  Mm hmm.

• 26:14Caleb Hammer?

Like that's nothing? How can you afford bankruptcy?

• 26:18Caleb Hammer?

Bankruptcy isn't cheap. You think you just walk outside? I declare bankruptcy?

• 26:23Speaker 03

No, um, I think you, I know that you have to find like a lawyer to, to do that and pay a lawyer to help you with it.

• 26:31Caleb Hammer?

And you're ready to start giving some things up potentially? Probably not your car. We wouldn't go down that route. But also if you ever need to reapply for a lease, it looks somewhere else that's gonna be on your credit for seven to 10 years.

• 26:47Speaker 03

Well, it's better than paying forty eight thousand dollars, I would think.

• 26:51Caleb Hammer?

• 29:02Speaker 03

have a payment plan so I can just do the payment plan

• 29:05Caleb Hammer?

you don't know what the payment plan is lady and guess what you're not paying on your things that have payment plans you're five months behind so what the are you talking about the reason I made this because you have a kid it's not cute and funny anymore once you have a kid

• 29:19Speaker 03

  you're right

• 29:20Caleb Hammer?

why'd you have this kid were you guys just like just like diddling it up or were we ready for the full future or what was going on

• 29:27Speaker 03

at the time I was right I thought I was ready

• 29:31Caleb Hammer?

and you guys were together for a while

• 29:33Speaker 03

we were together um for about a year and then after I got pregnant we broke up

• 29:40Caleb Hammer?

  was it purposeful pregnancy

• 29:42Speaker 03

  no

• 29:43Caleb Hammer?

why weren't you guys using protection at twenty

• 29:46Speaker 03

um I guess it was a poor decision

• 29:54Speaker 03

  I yeah.

• 29:55Caleb Hammer?

And you just let him wherever?

• 29:58Speaker 03

Um, he tried to pull out.

• 30:00Caleb Hammer?

  But he failed?

• 30:01Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 30:02Caleb Hammer?

And you didn't go get the thing?

• 30:03Speaker 03

  What thing? The plan B?

• 30:04Caleb Hammer?

  Plan B.

• 30:05Speaker 03

  Um, no, I did not.

• 30:08Caleb Hammer?

  Why?

• 30:08Speaker 03

Cause I, I didn't think that I would be pregnant, but.

• 30:12Caleb Hammer?

Not thinking, things happen. The consequences of our own actions seems to be a pattern in your life. And I'm not saying you should have taken plan B. I'm not saying having a kid was the wrong choice. You could do whatever the.

• 30:24Speaker 03

  For sure.

• 30:24Caleb Hammer?

You could do whatever the you want. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying no preparation and a constant pattern of thinking that nothing will happen. The consequences of the actions that we do.

• 30:37Caleb Hammer?

Seems to be the definition of you.

• 30:40Caleb Hammer?

And now, it's responsibility to take care of this kid who did not choose to come into this world. And guess what? Mommy is not paying her bills. Kid would like to do things, would like to move up in life, would like to maybe go to college. Good luck mama applying for any parent plus loans or anything. Or for his first car or whatever there might be, anything that you might want to do for kiddo. Good luck, cause you're saying no. Fuck life now.

• 31:11Speaker 03

Not saying fuck my life now.

• 31:12Caleb Hammer?

Your actions are, not your words. Your actions are. Also, your words kind of are because you don't think anything bad will happen, but guess what? It happened last time.

• 31:23Speaker 03

I make sure that the important things are paid.

• 31:26Caleb Hammer?

How do you determine the importance of bills?

• 31:29Speaker 03

  Rent, um.

• 31:30Caleb Hammer?

  So roof, okay.

• 31:32Speaker 03

  Yeah, food, groceries.

• 31:34Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 31:34Speaker 03

  Um.

• 31:35Caleb Hammer?

  Utilities probably.

• 31:36Speaker 03

  Car payment, utilities.

• 31:39Caleb Hammer?

Okay. Where do you think you are? On a scale of zero to 10, zero being the worst finances you can think of, 10 being the best finances you can think of, where do you think you are? Self-assessed?

• 31:50Speaker 03

  Um, I would.

• 31:50Caleb Hammer?

  In that heart.

• 31:52Speaker 03

I would probably say a zero.

• 31:54Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, sounds about right.

• 31:58Caleb Hammer?

  You're okay with that?

• 31:59Speaker 03

No, I'm not okay with that.

• 32:00Caleb Hammer?

Then why have you done nothing to fix it?

• 32:01Speaker 03

Because I feel like I keep making my payments, but they're not, the balances are not going down. When, if I didn't have credit card debt, I feel like, my, which my credit card debt isn't even that bad. It's not even that high.

• 32:19Caleb Hammer?

Are you fucking stupid? What do you mean? Any kind of credit card debt that is accruing interest that you cannot pay off, that is being pushed to the credit limit is bad. What the fuck are you talking about? Two thousand five hundred dollars? No, so what's going on though? Four thousand two hundred forty dollars. You think that's not bad? That's horrendous. That's horrendous.

• 32:33Speaker 03

  I'm not spending on it.

• 32:36Caleb Hammer?

So that's what would make it bad is if you're spending on it?

• 32:38Speaker 03

  It would make it worse.

• 32:39Caleb Hammer?

That would make it worse doesn't mean it's good.

• 32:44Speaker 03

  I don't think it's good. I don't think it's good, but I think-

• 32:47Caleb Hammer?

You just said it's not that bad. It's pretty fucking bad.

• 32:51Speaker 03

  But it's-

• 32:51Caleb Hammer?

Yes, it is. How can you think it's not that bad? If you don't think it's not that bad, then why would you ever do anything to fix it? If you don't think it's not that bad?

• 32:58Speaker 03

I am doing things to fix it.

• 33:01Caleb Hammer?

No, you're not. You're behind. Lady, what are you talking about? You are so delusioned in your life. The fuck are you talking about? You won't even hold insurance and make the payments for that in time.

• 33:17Speaker 03

  I...

• 33:19Caleb Hammer?

Oh my gosh. Guys, if you watch a Hammer Financial score and want to find out where you stand, it's free. Link in the description below. Fun little algorithm. • 33:42Caleb Hammer?

  But you...

• 33:44Speaker 03

  Me?

• 33:45Caleb Hammer?

Don't seem to know what the fuck you're talking about.

• 33:47Speaker 03

  You think so?

• 33:49Caleb Hammer?

  You don't? No, you don't.

• 33:51Speaker 03

I, I do think I know what I'm talking about.

• 33:53Caleb Hammer?

Oh, I... You're confused on your lack of payment on this card. So, and that's just one so far.

• 34:02Speaker 03

The payment was late, but I still pay it.

• 34:05Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but you're behind four, five. You haven't caught up. Look at it, lady. There are numbers. Whether or not you're able to read them is unknown to me so far, but they're there.

• 34:24Caleb Hammer?

  You think?

• 34:26Caleb Hammer?

The math is adding up. Yeah, about three to four late, late, late payments on here. This year so far, $1,200 rounded interest this year on one card. One card.

• 34:44Caleb Hammer?

  You're okay with that?

• 34:45Speaker 03

No, I don't want to pay that.

• 34:47Caleb Hammer?

Yet, you allow it. And don't change any behavior ever to solve it.

• 34:59Caleb Hammer?

Okay, we have an Amazon card. This is dangerous for you to have, isn't it?

• 35:04Speaker 03

  Yeah, but the-

• 35:05Caleb Hammer?

Let me see your Amazon order history.

• 35:07Speaker 03

  Right now? Okay.

• 35:11Caleb Hammer?

  We'll see it.

• 35:12Speaker 03

The, the credit limit isn't very high.

• 35:15Caleb Hammer?

Nor should it be for you. Oh, good. We're over the credit limit, so.

• 35:19Speaker 03

  On Amazon?

• 35:20Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 35:21Speaker 03

  Isn't it $500?

• 35:22Caleb Hammer?

You're $512. Again, numbers are convenient to look at sometimes.

• 35:28Speaker 03

I do look at that. I look at it like every month.

• 35:30Caleb Hammer?

Well, incorrectly or upside down, I don't know.

• 35:36Speaker 03

Yeah, that's been maxed out for a while.

• 35:39Caleb Hammer?

Then why are you purchasing $40 on here? Mom.

• 35:45Speaker 03

  It's...

• 35:48Caleb Hammer?

It's been maxed out for a while. So let me go ahead and purchase $40 on there.

• 35:53Speaker 03

  I guess it's like-

• 35:53Caleb Hammer?

  Wise.

• 35:54Speaker 03

Yeah. Sometimes, um, I guess I can make some impulsive-

• 35:59Caleb Hammer?

How would I look at that Amazon account? What is, what, what is going on? I've seen you push the screen like 50 times. Did you connect to the wifi out there?

• 36:05Speaker 03

  No, I didn't.

• 36:06Caleb Hammer?

• 36:51Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, sixteen months, pretty close. Go ahead, scan that QR code. The last card, the last card alone. Just the minimum monthly payments, how long do you think that takes? Which is, by the way, better than you're currently doing.

• 37:03Speaker 03

Are you talking about the $4,000 one?

• 37:04Caleb Hammer?

Yes, the Capital One Cook Silver One.

• 37:52Caleb Hammer?

Some Christmas pajamas for you and the kid.

• 37:54Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 37:55Caleb Hammer?

  Some deep vitamin C golden.

• 38:18Speaker 03

  Booty pants?

• 38:18Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, and silky tights.

• 38:23Caleb Hammer?

Shoulder bag. Shoes and, yeah, children's things and tea oil. That's not that crazy. Let me see your nails.

• 38:33Speaker 03

  They're just short.

• 38:36Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you're no longer wearing the press-on pink nails.

• 38:39Speaker 03

Yeah, I got those to try to like stop going to the nail salon.

• 38:42Caleb Hammer?

Undetect table thong. Tectable. Undetectable? Undetectable!

• 38:51Caleb Hammer?

While we're here, let's see what fucking subscriptions you have. Oh my gosh.

• 38:54Speaker 03

  What are you looking at?

• 38:55Caleb Hammer?

  Your subscriptions.

• 38:56Speaker 03

  Oh, on what?

• 38:58Caleb Hammer?

  Your phone.

• 38:58Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 38:59Caleb Hammer?

Uh, read, open your damn emails and get rid of that, get rid of those readings.

• 39:05Speaker 03

I know, I hate looking at that. I just need to get on my computer and like mark them all as red.

• 39:10Caleb Hammer?

  You have so many subscriptions.

• 39:11Speaker 03

No, I don't. What are, what am I subscribed to?

• 39:15Caleb Hammer?

  You don't know anything.

• 39:16Speaker 03

  What am I subscribed to?

• 39:17Caleb Hammer?

You don't know any, first of all, you're subscribed to fucking Tinder.

• 39:20Speaker 03

That's not for me. That's not for me. I, I don't even have a Tinder account.

• 39:25Caleb Hammer?

Who's Tinder are you paying for? You're not chasing dick?

• 39:28Speaker 03

No, not currently. Um, yeah, I don't have a Tinder account.

• 39:34Caleb Hammer?

Okay, why do I see, uh?

• 39:35Speaker 03

  And it's not.

• 39:36Caleb Hammer?

You're right, sorry, these are inactive. You're right, you actually don't have any paid, oh, so you just canceled Tinder?

• 39:42Speaker 03

  Yeah, but it's.

• 39:42Caleb Hammer?

You just can't, why the fuck do you have Tinder?

• 39:44Speaker 03

  It's not for me.

• 39:45Caleb Hammer?

Oh, sorry, paid Tinder. Why are you paying for else's, someone else's Tinder?

• 39:49Speaker 03

I was like, it's a profile that I created, but it wasn't like me.

• 39:55Caleb Hammer?

You are paying for, you paid for Tinder?

• 39:58Speaker 03

I did, because, um, there was something that happened. I had like an ex-boyfriend. And we actually just broke up recently because of something that happened and that's why I got the Tinder account and paid,

• 40:10Caleb Hammer?

  What happened?

• 40:11Speaker 03

  Paid for the premium.

• 40:13Caleb Hammer?

  What happened?

• 40:15Speaker 03

Um, so he went out of town like two months ago for like work. And he was gonna be gone for like a month and we've had like some issues like of things he's done in the past.

• 40:28Caleb Hammer?

  What?

• 40:28Speaker 03

  Uh, like Instagram liking, um.

• 40:31Caleb Hammer?

  Can't like on Instagram?

• 40:34Speaker 03

  No.

• 40:37Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 40:38Speaker 03

Why would he be liking other women?

• 40:40Caleb Hammer?

I, I don't know, maybe it's art. Who knows? But go ahead, go ahead.

• 40:43Speaker 03

Well, he knows that I didn't like that and he kept doing it.

• 40:45Caleb Hammer?

Okay, well, you vocalized it, okay.

• 40:46Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 40:47Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 40:47Speaker 03

I kind of had some suspicions and this is like the first time he's ever had to go away for like a long period of time. So, we actually met on Tinder, but that's the last time I've ever used it, which is like three years ago. Um, so I felt like maybe he.

• 41:03Caleb Hammer?

  November seventeenth, but okay.

• 41:04Speaker 03

Yeah, I felt like maybe he might still be using it, but I wasn't sure. Um.

• 41:10Caleb Hammer?

What gave you the suspicion? Just liking posts on Instagram?

• 41:13Speaker 03

That and like certain people that he followed.

• 41:16Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 41:17Speaker 03

And then like some messages that I saw.

• 41:19Caleb Hammer?

  What? Between him and people?

• 41:21Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 41:21Caleb Hammer?

What? This is huge for financial audit. For a year now, my team and I have worked with experts to create what I truly believe are the three best educational programs in the financial space online. We have our budgeting program where I teach you how to create, manage, and revolutionize your budget and control your money. And then there's the investing program where I teach you to define what investing profile applies to you and your life, and then teach what specific investing strategies applies to you in that situation. And now finally, we have our debt program where I teach you the best ways to pay off debt, manage debt, and even take advantage of good debt. This has been a revolutionary project that we've been working on for over a year now.

• 42:03Caleb Hammer?

And just like over 10,000 people who've already taken our educational programs, you can now take advantage of all three of them bundled together at a 15% discount. I've heard from thousands of people now who've taken these classes and they've literally changed their lives for the better. And finally, you can too at a more affordable price. Head to CalebHammer.com or click the link in the description below. You will not regret this.

• 42:28Speaker 03

Um, just like, not like, it was just like him like sending little hearts. You know how you can react?

• 42:34Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, okay.

• 42:34Speaker 03

Like he would send hearts or like heart eyes, or he would just say like, "You look so beautiful." Um.

• 42:41Caleb Hammer?

Uh, yeah, they shouldn't be doing that, that's for sure.

• 42:44Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 42:44Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, so what?

• 42:45Speaker 03

So, I had his lo- I had his location and he went to Detroit. And I created the Tinder account and like used.

• 42:55Caleb Hammer?

You wanted to make sure he wasn't shot?

• 42:57Speaker 03

  Make sure what?

• 42:58Caleb Hammer?

  He wasn't shot?

• 42:59Speaker 03

Shot. Oh, yeah, Detroit. No, I wanted to see if he was gonna like download the app. So, the first day he got there, I made the Tinder. And if you pay for it, if you pay for it, you can like pay to like change your location. So like I put his exact location and then I like changed the radius to like one mile.

• 43:20Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 43:21Speaker 03

And then like I did two swipes and then his account popped up.

• 43:24Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 43:25Speaker 03

And it said, "In town for a month. Hit me up."

• 43:28Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, so he was.

• 43:30Speaker 03

He was trying, but then I asked him about it and he was like, "Oh, I already deleted that."

• 43:35Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure that's what every Ashley Madison guy said.

• 43:38Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 43:39Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 43:40Speaker 03

And um, so I did pay for that, but then I like got it refunded.

• 43:44Caleb Hammer?

  Did you break up?

• 43:45Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 43:46Caleb Hammer?

  Good.

• 43:47Speaker 03

  We broke up.

• 43:48Caleb Hammer?

Good. Cyberghost, Safe and Private, something, November ninth. Oh, okay. Uh, free text call number, November eleventh. Express VPN, November ninth. Apple Music just canceled.

• 44:02Speaker 03

  Yeah, which ones are that?

• 44:03Caleb Hammer?

Second phone number, October seventeenth. What are you doing? Why are there so many different phone number things? What what are you sneaking around? Surf Sark VPN. Why do you have so many VPNs and phone numbers that you're, what are you doing?

• 44:15Speaker 03

Um, those are also something probably to do with him. I was a little.

• 44:19Caleb Hammer?

  You don't know?

• 44:20Speaker 03

  No, I do know.

• 44:21Caleb Hammer?

  What?

• 44:22Speaker 03

Uh, so basically like I created some fake numbers.

• 44:25Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, lady.

• 44:26Speaker 03

And then like I pretended like I had seen him out in like public and then wanted to see if he would like text them back.

• 44:32Caleb Hammer?

  And?

• 44:33Speaker 03

  He didn't, but he also.

• 44:35Caleb Hammer?

You had a lot of like, okay, your suspicions actually ended up becoming correct. What if they weren't? Like, you're just kinda like the fuck.

• 44:45Caleb Hammer?

Bad X in that case. You actually were correct in the end, so.

• 44:48Speaker 03

Well, I wouldn't do things like that if I didn't think that.

• 44:52Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but from Instagram likes. Well, well, no saying you're so pretty and stuff. That that that's fair, actually.

• 44:57Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 44:59Speaker 03

He was just like a bad person, so I kinda.

• 45:02Caleb Hammer?

  How were you guys together?

• 45:03Speaker 03

Um, we were like on and off for three years.

• 45:05Caleb Hammer?

He invested a few hundred bucks to catch this thing. Okay. Alright.

• 45:10Speaker 03

Yeah, and he also lived with me for for a while and didn't pay any rent.

• 45:14Caleb Hammer?

Oh, when did and when was he out?

• 45:17Speaker 03

Um, probably like two months ago.

• 45:20Caleb Hammer?

My gosh, why wasn't he paying rent? Is that not a red flag enough?

• 45:24Speaker 03

Yeah, and then that's like when my finances started to get kind of worse.

• 45:27Caleb Hammer?

Okay, worse, cuz trust me, they were already bad, but why wasn't he paying rent?

• 45:32Speaker 03

I guess because he didn't have enough money.

• 45:36Caleb Hammer?

  What was he doing?

• 45:38Speaker 03

He had like this job with one of his family members. Um, I think he was only making like four hundred dollars.

• 45:45Caleb Hammer?

I kinda wanna call him in the post show. Should we call him in the post show?

• 45:48Speaker 03

Oh my god, are you serious? Are you serious?

• 45:51Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 45:52Speaker 03

  Oh my god, okay.

• 45:53Caleb Hammer?

We'll have some Springer in the post show in our YouTube membership. It helps support the channel, guys. And there's thousands of hours of extra content and other shows as well. Uh, okay, so Amazon, yeah, the interest accruing. Uh, it was, yeah, it was three Amazon purchases, probably all the skincare and makeup and all the shit you're doing.

• 46:15Caleb Hammer?

Fees this year, like seventy bucks and interest.

• 46:20Speaker 03

  What?

• 46:24Caleb Hammer?

Those fees are probably late fees. That's probably two late fucking fees.

• 46:27Speaker 03

  On which one?

• 46:28Caleb Hammer?

On the Amazon, over the course of this year.

• 46:30Speaker 03

Over the course of the year?

• 46:32Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 46:33Speaker 03

  Two late fees?

• 46:34Caleb Hammer?

  Probably.

• 46:36Speaker 03

Yeah, I, I don't like paying those, I'm gonna be honest.

• 46:39Caleb Hammer?

  Like?

• 46:40Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 46:41Caleb Hammer?

  Like?

• 46:41Speaker 03

  I don't.

• 46:42Caleb Hammer?

Like? That's what we get that we get to choose what we like?

• 46:45Speaker 03

No, we don't, but I just.

• 46:46Caleb Hammer?

Hey, guys, guess what? I don't like paying my property taxes. I'm just not going to. There's gonna be no consequences, cuz I don't like it. The fuck are you talking about? You have a seven-year-old kid.

• 46:59Speaker 03

I like paying for everything for him.

• 47:01Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you have to be responsible. Do you not understand? Just like the...

• 47:07Speaker 03

I feel like I'm pretty responsible.

• 47:10Caleb Hammer?

In what world? I feel like you never matured past fourteen. No, legitimately, based on your language. Do you think? Yeah, the words you're saying. The phrases, your mentality.

• 47:26Speaker 03

  Hmm. Well, that's your opinion.

• 47:30Caleb Hammer?

My opinion? Dude, it's in the fucking numbers. This isn't an opinion. This is like objective reality right here. The whole, "I don't like making payments on this." That's what a child says.

• 47:40Speaker 03

  I still make them, though.

• 47:42Caleb Hammer?

You missed two this year. Shut the fuck up.

• 47:45Speaker 03

Two out of the year, that's not that many.

• 47:47Caleb Hammer?

  Are you like, actually like?

• 47:50Speaker 03

I feel like that's not that bad.

• 47:52Caleb Hammer?

Missed fifteen percent of the payments this year.

• 47:55Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 47:55Caleb Hammer?

  Substantial percentage.

• 47:57Speaker 03

  And I pay eighty-five percent.

• 48:00Caleb Hammer?

I don't want to be rude. Yeah, a mature person, an adult pays a hundred percent, by the way.

• 48:06Caleb Hammer?

I legitimately would like to know just for my own information, not to be rude, but out of legitimacy. Did you graduate high school?

• 48:15Speaker 03

  I did.

• 48:16Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 48:17Speaker 03

  Did you?

• 48:18Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 48:19Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 48:21Caleb Hammer?

  But am I giving off any indication that I didn't? I, I, I, I. I, I, I.

• 48:26Speaker 03

That you, um, you had, you, you would.

• 48:29Caleb Hammer?

  I, I, I.

• 48:31Speaker 03

  No. Am I?

• 48:33Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 48:34Speaker 03

  Oh, okay.

• 48:39Caleb Hammer?

Okay, Capital One, hundred twenty-eight dollars and thirty-six cents. Very low balance for what we've looked at so far with the twenty-five dollar minimum payment.

• 48:49Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so you made the minimum and then interest accrued. Okay, so that's all that happened on this card, but she did say at the beginning, I haven't really had missed payments this year so far.

• 49:01Caleb Hammer?

Until recently. We learned that that wasn't the case on the Amazon one already, but let's see if that's the case on this card, should we? Shall we? Oh, there it is! There's a little fee that's happened this year so far. Sounds like you're a liar or just don't know any fucking thing.

• 49:16Speaker 03

You said there was a late one on that?

• 49:19Caleb Hammer?

  Yes, this year.

• 49:21Speaker 03

  This year?

• 49:21Caleb Hammer?

  Yes, this year.

• 49:23Speaker 03

  How many?

• 49:24Caleb Hammer?

You know what year it is?

• 49:25Speaker 03

  Yeah, twenty twenty-four.

• 49:26Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 49:27Speaker 03

Tomorrow will be twenty twenty-five. Fresh start, new me.

• 49:34Caleb Hammer?

  What was your question?

• 49:36Speaker 03

  Um, how many was it?

• 49:37Caleb Hammer?

  One.

• 49:38Speaker 03

  One, okay.

• 49:39Caleb Hammer?

  That counts.

• 49:40Speaker 03

It does count. Yeah, it does. That's, um...

• 49:46Caleb Hammer?

Anyone keeping the math? Five, six, seven, eight? Ah, ah, ah.

• 49:51Speaker 03

  Altogether?

• 49:51Caleb Hammer?

Eight missed payments this year so far?

• 49:54Speaker 03

Yeah, um, it was a rough year. It was a rough year.

• 49:58Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, sounds like it was like the cheating dude, but again, that was a couple of months ago. The [__] out.

• 50:03Speaker 03

Um, I'm spending money to make myself happy and my son happy.

• 50:07Caleb Hammer?

And how's that working? It's ending in misery, ending with eviction, ending with bankruptcy, ending with your kid not having a good future.

• 50:15Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, that's more misery. So maybe we do a little temporary sacrifice, like an adult, a mother, a responsible parent.

• 50:25Caleb Hammer?

Twenty-seven point nine-nine percent interest rate. Basically a hundred bucks in interest accrued so far this year. The balance has never been high on that card. You're just late on a payment for no [__] reason. Why do you not set up auto pays?

• 50:37Speaker 03

  Yeah, that's a thing. I don't know. I just feel like...

• 50:40Caleb Hammer?

  That's a thing. Okay, yes.

• 50:43Speaker 03

Um, I should probably set up auto pay, but...

• 50:46Caleb Hammer?

  Why haven't you then?

• 50:47Speaker 03

Because I, I feel like what if, I just like, I wanna pay it like whenever I wanna pay it. I think.

• 50:54Caleb Hammer?

That's not how this works. That's not how contracts work.

• 50:58Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 50:59Caleb Hammer?

You signed a [__] contract. Do you get that?

• 51:00Speaker 03

  With the credit cards?

• 51:02Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 51:04Speaker 03

Well, I wanna get rid of those. So I don't have to worry about that anymore.

• 51:08Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you can close the accounts. You're still gonna have to make your payments. You owe the money that you borrowed.

• 51:14Speaker 03

Right. I'm just saying like I, I'm trying to like get to where I can actually pay them all off and then never like...

• 51:20Caleb Hammer?

How are you gonna do that when you spend double what you make?

• 51:21Speaker 03

Well, that's why I stopped spending on them.

• 51:23Caleb Hammer?

You spend double what you make and that's not true. We already looked at the Amazon card where you were spending. And you pushed it above your limit. Shut the...

• 51:30Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 51:30Caleb Hammer?

You're like, everything you're saying is legitimately incorrect.

• 51:33Speaker 03

Okay, so the Amazon and the Apple ones, yes, I still...

• 51:37Caleb Hammer?

So also known as some of the cards.

• 51:38Speaker 03

Yeah. But the big ones, like the...

• 51:41Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 51:42Speaker 03

The four thousand dollar one, like I...

• 51:44Caleb Hammer?

So I guess the other ones. I don't know what I'm doing. Need a break. Forget it. I quit.

• 51:49Speaker 04

  Escape to Pluto TV.

• 51:51Speaker 03

  This is objectively fantastic.

• 51:53Speaker 04

Relax into the movies and shows you already know and love, all for free. Shwing! Even our news is uplifting.

• 51:58Speaker 01

  You stay classy, San Diego.

• 52:00Speaker 04

Watch Tommy Boy, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, The X-Files, Wayne's World, and so much more.

• 52:06Caleb Hammer?

  We're not worthy!

• 52:08Speaker 04

The best things on TV really are free. You just have to know where to look. Escape to Pluto TV. Stream now, pay never.

• 52:15Caleb Hammer?

Don't matter that are above the credit limits and not making payments on time and has interest accruing. Because other ones have bigger numbers.

• 52:24Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 52:25Caleb Hammer?

You can use the FIS card. I will allow that because it only allows you to spend what's in your checking account. It's like a debit card and it builds your credit. I would close these other accounts because you're not a credit card person. You cannot be trusted with it. I would not trust you with a single cent of debt. That's fine. Who gives a [bleep]? It doesn't matter. It's okay that you can't be trusted with debt. Just don't allow yourself to have it. Don't allow yourself to have a tool that can smash in your own fingers. If you don't know how, if you don't have the proper training, okay?

• 52:51Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 52:57Speaker 03

  What is it?

• 52:58Caleb Hammer?

You tell me. Where'd you get Fashionova and Amazon on?

• 53:00Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 53:01Caleb Hammer?

  It's definitely a Pay Later.

• 53:02Speaker 03

Um, is it like Klarna or like Afterpay?

• 53:05Caleb Hammer?

  You tell me.

• 53:06Speaker 03

Probably Klarna or Afterpay. Or, uh, Affirm. I use all of those.

• 53:10Caleb Hammer?

Oh, I'm sure you do. You've never met a debt you don't love.

• 53:16Speaker 03

But those are fine. Like I-

• 53:17Caleb Hammer?

  Those are fine?

• 53:18Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 53:19Caleb Hammer?

Forty-nine dollars, seventy-five cents overdue. They're fine, guys. Everything's great. Lady, you know nothing. You know nothing. Any account we talk about, you talk about and you have

• 53:36Caleb Hammer?

no idea what you're talking about. Not a single inkling of brain cell connection for any document.

• 53:45Speaker 03

No, okay. I do remember that. I do remember that.

• 53:47Caleb Hammer?

  Oh!

• 53:49Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 53:49Caleb Hammer?

  She remembers!

• 53:51Speaker 03

Yeah. Um... I... I guess I was out of money and-

• 53:58Caleb Hammer?

Oh, oh, guys, it happened again. It happened again. Yeah. Nothing, nothing will ever go wrong. Nothing will ever go wrong. Because this isn't the second time in this entire conversation that you said you ran out of money, right? Right? Right? Right? So you'll never ever miss a rent payment, right? Right? Right? You'll never miss any critical payment. You'll never miss a utility payment. You'll never not have enough money for groceries, right? Right? Right? Because we've never talked about in this conversation, not having enough money. It's never possible. Having to do [bleep] bust will never result in a pregnancy.

• 54:30Speaker 03

I don't know where my money is going. I feel like I-

• 54:33Caleb Hammer?

Why have you never made a budget? Why have you never tried? Cause, okay, I get that you didn't know where your money is going, but that's fine. When you recognize that, then you're like, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, maybe I should do something. What's that something called? How to figure out my money. Make a budget is usually what comes up. Why would you not make a budget? Why would you not attempt? Why has there been no attempt?

• 54:52Speaker 03

  I, I've thought about making a budget.

• 54:54Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, you've thought about it.

• 54:55Speaker 03

Yeah, no, I think about this a lot. Like, every month, I'm like, okay, now I should make a budget.

• 55:00Caleb Hammer?

That, that is a lot of thinking for you. Once a month?

• 55:04Speaker 03

And then, um, like you keep saying about, I'm gonna like get evicted or like miss my rent payment?

• 55:11Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, it happens to millions of people.

• 55:13Speaker 03

Well, I'm not, that's not gonna happen because I have like earning.

• 55:18Caleb Hammer?

Is that the, is that the pay in advance thing?

• 55:20Speaker 03

  Uh huh.

• 55:22Speaker 03

Uh, that's actually a really big problem right now.

• 55:24Caleb Hammer?

Every, every, every time you get-

• 55:28Speaker 03

I'm stuck in like a loop.

• 55:30Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, that's what I was just gonna say. You're just stuck in a loop. So what happens? You can't pay that, then you can't pay rent.

• 55:34Speaker 03

Actually, that's probably where my money is going.

• 55:36Caleb Hammer?

  Then you're double f***ed. Then you're double f***ed.

• 55:39Speaker 03

  Yeah. So-

• 55:41Caleb Hammer?

  Choo choo!

• 55:43Speaker 03

Well, so, I, I'm trying to like make it to where I don't have to use that ever again. But it's like so much-

• 55:52Caleb Hammer?

Try, try. This is what you've already said. Try, try. What's your try? I've thought about making a budget. You know what? I, I accomplished something this time. I thought.

• 56:01Speaker 03

No, um, I just get kind of overwhelmed, I guess.

• 56:05Caleb Hammer?

You're gonna get more overwhelmed the worse this gets.

• 56:08Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 56:08Caleb Hammer?

It's a confront it now or make it even worse later. It's always gonna be worse.

• 56:13Speaker 03

That's what I would like to happen.

• 56:16Speaker 03

  But-

• 56:17Caleb Hammer?

And I would like to have-

• 56:21Speaker 03

Okay, so I'm gonna do something to change it.

• 56:25Caleb Hammer?

  What?

• 56:27Speaker 03

I'm going to make a budget.

• 56:29Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 56:31Speaker 03

  And stick to it.

• 56:32Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 56:33Speaker 03

  Because I can do that.

• 56:34Caleb Hammer?

  You can?

• 56:34Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 56:36Caleb Hammer?

Any inkling of proof that that is something I can reliably take as um

• 56:43Speaker 03

  Hmm

• 56:44Caleb Hammer?

  The truth?

• 56:45Speaker 03

  Do you not believe me?

• 56:46Caleb Hammer?

  No.

• 56:46Speaker 03

  You don't?

• 56:47Caleb Hammer?

You're missing payments, you're not a reliable narrator on any document that we've talked about so far. You have no idea what your finances are and you're uncontrollable spending in every way possible and you have no discipline. And you can hardly form a coherent thought. I like, I, I don't know. I do not trust you or believe you.

• 57:04Caleb Hammer?

I want you to do better.

• 57:05Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 57:07Caleb Hammer?

But that doesn't mean I'm just gonna say I trust you to make you feel good.

• 57:11Speaker 03

  Right.

• 57:11Caleb Hammer?

Nothing has been shown to me that would give me trust. I have hope? It's lacking. But I want you to, especially for the sake of your kid.

• 57:22Speaker 03

Yeah, I mean, I feel like I make decent money, so.

• 57:24Caleb Hammer?

You do, that's not the problem.

• 57:26Speaker 03

Yeah, so you don't think I need to like make more money?

• 57:29Caleb Hammer?

Well, money's always great, I guess, but not if you spend even more than you make extra.

• 57:34Speaker 03

  I, I.

• 57:34Caleb Hammer?

Which is what you would do.

• 57:35Speaker 03

Well, yeah, um, I'm very happy with my job. I'm.

• 57:39Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 57:44Speaker 03

  They treat me very well.

• 57:49Caleb Hammer?

  I, I didn't suggest leaving that job. I, I don't know.

• 57:52Speaker 03

No, I know, I'm not saying you did, but.

• 57:56Caleb Hammer?

Okay, well, we're over on Klarna again, so uh, uh, eighty-two dollars and.

• 58:04Caleb Hammer?

  Well, actually.

• 58:07Caleb Hammer?

  Fashion Nova bullshit. Bullshit. Stupid.

• 58:12Caleb Hammer?

  Fashion Nova?

• 58:13Speaker 03

  Actually, actually.

• 58:14Caleb Hammer?

  What is a Fashion Nova?

• 58:15Speaker 03

It's okay, cuz I actually returned all that stuff.

• 58:18Caleb Hammer?

  And you got refunded?

• 58:19Speaker 03

Mm-hmm. Yeah, but, well, actually, no, I didn't. No.

• 58:24Caleb Hammer?

You seriously just made me fucking cross it out of my document and now I have to write it again?

• 58:28Speaker 03

No, okay, I did return everything, but for some reason.

• 58:31Caleb Hammer?

Am I writing it in here or not?

• 58:34Speaker 03

  Um, no.

• 58:36Caleb Hammer?

  Why?

• 58:36Speaker 03

  No, sorry, yes.

• 58:37Caleb Hammer?

Oh! Look at him, how, huh, oh!

• 58:43Speaker 03

Yeah, you can write it, it's fine.

• 58:46Caleb Hammer?

Now, let me ask this high school question again. I'm glad you graduated high school, but did it take you until you were twenty-six?

• 58:54Speaker 03

  No.

• 59:02Caleb Hammer?

When your kid attends school, are you required to attend with him?

• 59:06Speaker 03

  What do you mean?

• 59:07Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 59:08Speaker 03

What do you mean? No. He's in school, he's in second grade.

• 59:13Caleb Hammer?

  Mm-hmm.

• 59:14Speaker 03

He's doing really well, just like I did.

• 59:16Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 59:17Speaker 03

I did, I, I made really good grades in school.

• 59:19Caleb Hammer?

So you returned it, but you just didn't get a refund?

• 59:21Speaker 03

Right, yeah, I didn't get a refund because some, for some reason, they don't do refunds. They only do like credit, in-store credit.

• 59:29Caleb Hammer?

  Did, did you get that?

• 59:30Speaker 03

Yeah, but it doesn't really help.

• 59:32Caleb Hammer?

Your monthly payment's a hundred thirty-two dollars and seventy-one cents.

• 59:43Caleb Hammer?

Apple Card, this is one of your self-confessed, "I still spend money."

• 59:48Speaker 03

  This one's like-

• 59:48Caleb Hammer?

  It's not a big balance.

• 59:50Speaker 03

This one's really bad, I do some, yeah, it's maxed out, and sometimes like I'll- This is like the only credit card where you can like, if it, even if it's maxed out, you can like, make a payment.

• 1:00:02Caleb Hammer?

You cannot be trusted with that, you cannot be trusted with that, you mean make a purchase?

• 1:00:06Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:00:06Caleb Hammer?

You cannot be trusted with that, you do not know how to manage that, you cannot be trusted with that, not for a single second in your life! Look at you! I, uh, because they allow you to spend, you just, oh my gosh! Fuck me dude, I just, I-

• 1:00:24Caleb Hammer?

Oh, I just, my, my, ladies and gentlemen, little introduction into my brain right now, a, a, a, a little insight. I am blown away. What a creation this show has been, over two and a half years. I am blown away. I am thankful that you're on here, and I want you to get better, and I want you to join our average ten thousand, ten hundred, thou- Ten thousand, five hundred dollars paid off in ten months from past guests, or eleven months. I want that, I want that to happen to you, but I am blown away. I had no idea, walking around, that just, random people, your random neighbors, your random family, people in the street, all of these people, there is so many of them

• 1:01:09Caleb Hammer?

  that are like this.

• 1:01:12Caleb Hammer?

Not as an insult, I'm just like blown away that my finances were and I got them corrected, but I never had the mindset you have. Cause you understand it, I didn't even realize what was happening. Once I did, I fixed it. I just don't get it. I don't get it. And it just blows my mind. This show has been just the ultimate, I'm not ending it, I'm not, I sound like I'm ending it, I'm not. But it was, this has been like the most crazy wake up call. Crazy wake up call. And you applied from the audience, yeah?

• 1:01:44Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 1:01:45Caleb Hammer?

  So you watched the show?

• 1:01:46Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:01:47Caleb Hammer?

This blows my mind. That's where 98% I think come, I think actually 100% these days. Come from the audience. This blows my mind. Okay, nine month payment, 27 bucks.

• 1:02:02Caleb Hammer?

  Bought so, so many transactions.

• 1:02:05Speaker 03

On which one? Amazon? Oh no, Apple. Sorry, Apple.

• 1:02:13Caleb Hammer?

  Tinder. There it is.

• 1:02:15Speaker 03

  I got that refunded though.

• 1:02:17Caleb Hammer?

Tinder more. Apple bill. PayPal voodoo?

• 1:02:24Speaker 03

Um, yeah, that was probably a movie for like my son to watch.

• 1:02:27Caleb Hammer?

  Affirm. Tinder. Three Tinder purchases.

• 1:02:32Speaker 03

Yeah, I, I was kind of crazy.

• 1:02:35Caleb Hammer?

Yes, I would say so. You did actually were right in the end about your assumptions, but you did also kind of act crazy.

• 1:02:42Speaker 03

My fake accounts kept getting banned, so I like had to make.

• 1:02:45Caleb Hammer?

  Oh no shit, fair enough.

• 1:02:46Speaker 03

I had to make two more to like actually find them on there, so.

• 1:02:50Caleb Hammer?

So as many of you know, I've been a big supporter of Course Careers for a long time. I'm not just a partner, I actually own stock and I'm an investor. So why did I partner with Course Careers? Because I truly believe in what they're doing. A lot of people have questions about online certifications versus traditional college degrees. Let me be clear, I wouldn't put my name behind something unless I knew it worked. The thing is, not everyone has the time or resources to spend four years in college or take on massive student loan debt. Course Careers offers a practical, affordable way to launch a career in a high. ...side demand field like tech sales, IT, and accounting, where companies are hiring based on the skills needed, not broad college degrees. In fact, right now, one in three companies are dropping degree requirements, and that number is only going to continue to grow.

• 1:03:35Caleb Hammer?

I know some people think online programs are a quick fix, but that's not the case here. Course Careers takes effort and commitment, but they provide you with a streamlined, proven path. They offer up-to-date, self-paced courses, one-on-one or group coaching from people that work in the industry, and most importantly, they help you actually get hired. Just look at graduates like Namesso, who went from driving FedEx trucks to a cybersecurity job at Disney. That didn't happen by chance. He put in the work, and Course Careers guided him every step of the way. And what truly sets Course Careers apart is that it's not just about learning skills, but landing a job. Their curriculum is designed based on what employers actually need, and their network of industry coaches will guide you through the entire process,

• 1:04:17Caleb Hammer?

from learning the skills to interviewing, resume help, and beyond. So if you're serious about starting a new career without wasting years or piling up debt, give Course Careers a try. Start with their free intro course, linked in the description to explore your options. And when you're ready, use the link in the description for $50 off the full course. Your future starts right now, and Course Careers is here to help you shape it. Were you using other people's pictures?

• 1:04:41Speaker 03

They were kind of like stock images.

• 1:04:42Caleb Hammer?

  Other people's pictures?

• 1:04:43Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:04:46Caleb Hammer?

  Netflix?

• 1:04:49Caleb Hammer?

The Lash Lounge? The Lash Lounge?

• 1:04:54Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:04:54Caleb Hammer?

They look like eyelashes. I don't know.

• 1:04:57Speaker 03

  Do they look good?

• 1:04:58Caleb Hammer?

  Um...

• 1:04:59Speaker 03

  No?

• 1:05:00Caleb Hammer?

Okay. I don't know what count as good lashes. They look kind of clumped up in, like, areas.

• 1:05:05Speaker 03

  Oh, really?

• 1:05:05Caleb Hammer?

Well, they look like there's like, it looks like there's like five. Big clumps, like horns. But maybe that's what good la-

• 1:05:13Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:05:13Caleb Hammer?

Lindsay, can you tell me? I don't-

  Her lashes look beautiful.

• 1:05:47Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 1:05:47Speaker 03

  Complimented her before we started.

• 1:05:48Caleb Hammer?

Okay, your lashes look good. I don't know what good lashes look like. That's not something I look at for people.

• 1:05:54Speaker 03

Yeah, okay. Well, it's on your eyes, so it's like the main thing that you're really looking at.

• 1:06:00Caleb Hammer?

  Please.

• 1:06:01Speaker 03

  What?

• 1:06:02Caleb Hammer?

I look at everyone's feet first.

• 1:06:04Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 1:06:04Caleb Hammer?

  No kidding.

• 1:06:07Caleb Hammer?

I couldn't tell where I wanted to take that.

• 1:06:10Caleb Hammer?

You have $400 spent in that month. That's crazy, dude.

• 1:06:13Speaker 03

  On just Apple?

• 1:06:15Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, just Apple, $229 of interest. Through this year so far. I don't see any fees, but I don't see a section for fees either.

• 1:06:23Speaker 03

I have a problem with that card.

• 1:06:26Caleb Hammer?

You have a problem with every... There is not one that doesn't have a problem, dude. If you don't know that at this point, I'm deeply concerned.

• 1:06:34Speaker 03

So you're saying like, if I were to just, if there was no mispayments, then there wouldn't be a problem?

• 1:06:39Caleb Hammer?

Not that there wouldn't be a problem, but your problems are exacerbated.

• 1:06:42Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm. Yeah, um...

• 1:06:44Caleb Hammer?

Do you know what that word means?

• 1:06:46Speaker 03

  Yeah, like they're more extreme.

• 1:06:48Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, yes.

• 1:06:49Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:06:49Caleb Hammer?

Wanted to make sure you didn't think I said like, "mass..."

• 1:06:52Speaker 03

No. Is that what you're thinking about?

• 1:06:55Caleb Hammer?

No. I just want to make sure you're able to understand the words.

• 1:06:58Speaker 03

Okay, yeah, no, I got it.

• 1:06:59Caleb Hammer?

I want to make sure I'm communicating correctly?

• 1:07:00Speaker 03

Yeah, I got it. It's more extreme.

• 1:07:08Caleb Hammer?

  Auto. Vroom, vroom, drive, drive.

• 1:07:12Caleb Hammer?

  They let you drive?

• 1:07:14Speaker 03

  What are you talking about?

• 1:07:15Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, what's your car?

• 1:07:17Speaker 03

  Oh, oh. It's a 2012 Honda Accord.

• 1:07:23Caleb Hammer?

  Monomobile.

• 1:07:24Speaker 03

  Only has like 120,000 miles.

• 1:07:27Caleb Hammer?

Hold on, wait, is this a lease? Wait.

• 1:07:30Speaker 03

  It's actually almost paid off.

• 1:07:32Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, it's kind of close. It's still two years away. I don't know what you're talking about, almost paid off, but...

• 1:07:37Speaker 03

Well, I'm planning on like trying to get it paid off sooner.

• 1:07:39Caleb Hammer?

Yes, while you spend double your income.

• 1:07:41Speaker 03

And the monthly payment on that.

• 1:07:44Caleb Hammer?

I don't know what you're talking about, dude.

• 1:07:45Speaker 03

It's only like $150 a month for my car payment.

• 1:07:47Caleb Hammer?

  Your plan's a joke, though.

• 1:07:48Speaker 03

My car payment's like really low.

• 1:07:49Caleb Hammer?

I get it, but you say I plan to, but that does not make sense to the rest of everything else we've looked at so far. I don't get how you get that. It's worth about $8,413 in its current condition.

• 1:08:01Caleb Hammer?

So you do have positive equity on this. Be the one thing I'm not freaking out about, other than it's like close to an eleven percent interest, which sucks.

• 1:08:09Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:08:09Caleb Hammer?

You're likely halfway through that interest paying period where more is now going to principal, but even still, it's not great.

• 1:08:16Speaker 03

  It's not great.

• 1:08:17Caleb Hammer?

  But you have positive equity.

• 1:08:19Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:08:20Caleb Hammer?

How, how, how, how's it doing?

• 1:08:21Speaker 03

It's fine. It's really great. A hundred and twenty thousand.

• 1:08:24Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, and you do maintenance?

• 1:08:27Speaker 03

Yeah, when I got it, I actually, um, I put like ten thousand dollars down, so, what?

• 1:08:34Caleb Hammer?

  When'd you get it?

• 1:08:35Speaker 03

Like, three years ago, but I paid-

• 1:08:37Caleb Hammer?

  For how much?

• 1:08:38Speaker 03

I think it was kind of overpriced. It was like during that time where like, all the cars were like super overpriced.

• 1:08:44Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 1:08:44Speaker 03

And I think it was like selling for like sixteen thousand maybe? And then I put ten thousand down and financed like six thousand.

• 1:08:53Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, majority is by far going to principal today, a hundred thirteen and then thirty goes to interest, so. You're in the good half of this loan.

• 1:09:02Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:09:02Caleb Hammer?

Still not fantastic having a minimum payment for someone that can't do minimum two payments.

• 1:09:08Speaker 03

  I can do them.

• 1:09:11Speaker 04

  Stop the cap.

• 1:09:15Speaker 03

  I would say-

• 1:09:15Caleb Hammer?

We're like nine missed payments this year or something. And if I could see in this car, if you were ever late or missed, I, I, I like, I, I, I don't know, if I'm able to look in back in time.

• 1:09:26Speaker 03

That one's actually on auto pay. That one is on auto pay.

• 1:09:29Caleb Hammer?

Good, but I, what if like you had one that bounced?

• 1:09:32Speaker 03

Well, then I would just use earning.

• 1:09:33Caleb Hammer?

What if you didn't have enough in earning?

• 1:09:35Speaker 03

  Um.

• 1:09:39Caleb Hammer?

Okay, City Double Cash, I actually quite like this card. Oh, you're abusing it. Well, it's abusing you now, actually.

• 1:09:48Speaker 03

I think that one got, I think that one got closed.

• 1:09:51Caleb Hammer?

Why? For why? Oh wait, closed or sent to collections?

• 1:09:54Speaker 03

No, no, just closed. Like, they, they closed the account.

• 1:09:57Caleb Hammer?

Good, good. Cause guess what? Uh-oh, late fees, who would've thought? Minimum payment usually a hundred seven, but you're behind by two.

• 1:10:07Speaker 03

  Behind by two?

• 1:10:08Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 1:10:09Speaker 03

Yeah, um, like I said, the last couple of months have been kind of bad. Like, that's when everything really started.

• 1:10:16Caleb Hammer?

He was never paying for rent. He spent a couple hundred bucks on dating apps and VPNs and texting things.

• 1:10:20Speaker 03

  So he didn't-

• 1:10:21Caleb Hammer?

But what got so bad? He didn't pay for anything.

• 1:10:23Speaker 03

He, sometimes he would, like, he would just be kind of inconsistent.

• 1:10:26Caleb Hammer?

Well now you're changing your damn story.

• 1:10:27Speaker 03

No, okay. So he would do like, certain things that kind of helped out, but it wasn't like, directly paying rent, if that makes sense.

• 1:10:37Speaker 03

Like, he would buy food, but I would pay the rent. Or, he would, yeah.

• 1:10:43Caleb Hammer?

Interest accruing, fees accruing, two thousand six hundred dollars and thirteen cents. Takes ten years to pay off only the minimum payment. Late fee, there it is. Total fees charged this year so far, looks like you've had about three late fees.

• 1:11:00Caleb Hammer?

We're now to twelve late fees. How many months are there in a year?

• 1:11:03Speaker 03

  Twelve.

• 1:11:04Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 1:11:09Caleb Hammer?

You also have like, advance purchases as well.

• 1:11:11Speaker 03

  What is that?

• 1:11:11Caleb Hammer?

  Cash advance purchases.

• 1:11:13Speaker 03

  Hmm?

• 1:11:14Caleb Hammer?

  Cash advance purchases.

• 1:11:15Speaker 03

Where I took money out of the credit card?

• 1:11:17Caleb Hammer?

Yes, that, or you had that pull into your checking account to prevent a, uh, bounce.

• 1:11:21Speaker 03

That might have been what I did, yeah.

• 1:11:23Caleb Hammer?

  Which is also horrendous.

• 1:11:25Speaker 03

  Yeah, um, yeah.

• 1:11:31Caleb Hammer?

Can't you, do you realize just where you've gotten your life? Like, this is such a scary-

• 1:11:36Speaker 03

  My life is great.

• 1:11:40Speaker 03

I'm happy. I'm buying my happiness.

• 1:11:43Caleb Hammer?

  No, no, no.

• 1:11:46Speaker 03

And I'm still making sure things are getting paid. Maybe they're late, but they're still getting paid.

• 1:11:51Caleb Hammer?

  You're, you're delusional. You're not happy. You're delusional.

• 1:11:55Speaker 03

  I probably am delusional.

• 1:11:56Caleb Hammer?

You are delusional. Have you heard this conversation so far?

• 1:12:00Speaker 03

From you, um, from my ex, yeah.

• 1:12:04Speaker 03

He said the same thing about me.

• 1:12:06Caleb Hammer?

Five hundred twenty-nine dollars and eighty-four cents owed on, let's call this one. What was the, the, the, the Klarna two? I don't know, it doesn't matter.

• 1:12:16Speaker 03

Oh, God. Oh, my God, does that say, does that say NFL?

• 1:12:21Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 1:12:24Speaker 03

I bought him like a three hundred dollar like NFL hoodie, but I did return that, so.

• 1:12:29Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, and was it refunded?

• 1:12:31Speaker 03

  Yes, it was.

• 1:12:31Caleb Hammer?

Okay, what do you owe on this now?

• 1:12:34Speaker 03

Um, can I look at it right now?

• 1:12:35Caleb Hammer?

Yes. So I'm sure you racked it back up.

• 1:12:39Speaker 03

What does it say on there?

• 1:12:41Caleb Hammer?

  Just tell me the thing.

• 1:12:42Speaker 03

  Eight hundred.

• 1:12:45Speaker 03

  Eight hundred.

• 1:12:46Caleb Hammer?

You're right, you didn't rack it back up, you almost doubled it.

• 1:12:52Caleb Hammer?

You don't know anything! Oh, you don't know anything! This conversation is mind blowing.

• 1:12:57Speaker 03

  Look.

• 1:12:58Caleb Hammer?

This conversation is literally mind blowing. You said eight ninety?

• 1:13:02Speaker 03

  Um, yes, eight hundred.

• 1:13:05Caleb Hammer?

  What's your payment minimum?

• 1:13:07Speaker 03

  My payment minimum on Klarna?

• 1:13:10Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, the one you just pulled up, dude.

• 1:13:13Speaker 03

It, it depends on which purchase that you're talking about.

• 1:13:16Caleb Hammer?

  All of them.

• 1:13:17Speaker 03

Um, okay, so in the next seven days, it's thirty dollars, and then in January, it's five hundred dollars.

• 1:13:27Speaker 03

There's like four Sephora purchases on there.

• 1:13:30Caleb Hammer?

  What are you getting?

• 1:13:31Speaker 03

  And then there's like some.

• 1:13:32Caleb Hammer?

I like to buy things for my son. So far, not in the purchases.

• 1:13:35Speaker 03

No, like, that's what I was.

• 1:13:36Caleb Hammer?

One like pajama set for him, other than that, it's all for mommy.

• 1:13:39Speaker 03

No, that was what I was gonna say next. It's a kid's footlocker.

• 1:13:45Caleb Hammer?

That's the expensive one, though, is it?

• 1:13:46Speaker 03

Uh, it was like a hundred dollars.

• 1:13:48Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so that's not the five hundred dollar payment?

• 1:13:50Speaker 03

No, no, no, five hundred dollars is like the total of everything.

• 1:13:54Caleb Hammer?

  Everything owed?

• 1:13:54Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:13:55Caleb Hammer?

  The, the minimum payment?

• 1:13:56Speaker 03

No, no, no, that's just how many minimum pay- that's what all the minimum payments equal in January. Yeah.

• 1:14:02Caleb Hammer?

Five hundred. Oh lady. Macy's house. Sephora, Sephora, Sephora. With Verizon card.

• 1:14:13Speaker 03

I used to work at Verizon. It was a good back then.

• 1:14:16Caleb Hammer?

  Hmm?

• 1:14:16Speaker 03

It was like, good for me back then, but.

• 1:14:19Caleb Hammer?

How? I, again, you're not a reliable narrator about any of this.

• 1:14:24Speaker 03

  Um.

• 1:14:24Caleb Hammer?

  How is it good?

• 1:14:26Speaker 03

  Well, okay.

• 1:14:26Caleb Hammer?

You know what the word good means?

• 1:14:28Speaker 03

Not good, but it gave me like.

• 1:14:29Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, there you go.

• 1:14:30Speaker 03

Benefits to my job when I worked there.

• 1:14:33Caleb Hammer?

  So the job was good?

• 1:14:34Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:14:36Caleb Hammer?

Talking about the card. Okay, five hundred thirty-nine dollars and fourteen cents with a thirty-dollar minimum payment. Takes fifteen months to pay it off. Interest was four dollars and nineteen cents.

• 1:14:47Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 1:14:50Caleb Hammer?

Total interest paid. One fourteen. Surprisingly, no late fees on this card. This year so far. The, the first one, by the way. That, that is true. One. You did one out of. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. One.

• 1:15:13Caleb Hammer?

Over thirty percent interest. Is that all your debt?

• 1:15:15Speaker 03

Yeah. That's it. My phone is financed, but.

• 1:15:20Caleb Hammer?

I'm sure it is. Cash app, okay. Three in, uh, three ten in, three ten out. Let's see. Transferring, transferring from people, blah, blah, blah. Uh, Artisan Nail Lounge. You do nails every second of your life. More Artisan Nail Lounge and then Venmo, or Cash App.

• 1:15:37Speaker 03

But I got this stuff on Amazon to do it myself. The nails, the press ons that you saw.

• 1:15:42Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, and then you didn't do it because you're not wearing them.

• 1:15:46Speaker 03

Yeah. Um, well, but these are just short, so. They're, they didn't do this at the salon. I did it.

• 1:15:55Caleb Hammer?

Where's all this cash going? To who and why and where?

• 1:15:57Speaker 03

Um, on Cash App. Well, okay, my... Sometimes my... My dad Cash App's me. I think I receive more than I send.

• 1:16:08Caleb Hammer?

Where are you sending it to?

• 1:16:11Speaker 03

I don't think I've sent any on Cash App.

• 1:16:13Caleb Hammer?

We had some money being sent. It was about at least forty.

• 1:16:16Speaker 03

Does it show you the name?

• 1:16:17Caleb Hammer?

We blacked it for privacy reasons. I cannot see.

• 1:16:20Speaker 03

  You want me to check?

• 1:16:21Caleb Hammer?

No, it's fine. I just was hoping you could be able to tell me something. But it's beyond clear now we're twenty minutes in that you are unable to do that.

• 1:16:30Speaker 03

  It was probably my sister.

• 1:16:32Caleb Hammer?

Seven hundred and thirty-five dollars in your checking account. Why? Your sister, what?

• 1:16:36Speaker 03

  Oh, my sister? Um...

• 1:16:40Speaker 03

I don't remember what it was for, but I think she just needed to borrow some money.

• 1:16:45Caleb Hammer?

  Did she pay it?

• 1:16:46Speaker 03

Did she pay me back? Um, no. I told her it was fine.

• 1:16:50Caleb Hammer?

Sister like sister. Sephora, going in and getting some bullshit from Circle K. Amazon, Amazon, Amazon, Hollister, Macy's, Sephora, Sephora, Steve Madden. Going in and getting some BS. Amazon, Starbucks. Cash App out, thirty bucks there. Oh, well, no, actually, that's the Artesian. And Scooter Coffee.

• 1:17:11Speaker 03

Okay, yeah. The... It was probably to the nail salon.

• 1:17:14Caleb Hammer?

  No, that one was.

• 1:17:16Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:17:17Caleb Hammer?

Afterpay, McDonald's, Target, Amazon Prime. Ma... I don't know if that was video or just Amazon, and then Amazon. Sephora, Apple Cash sent out Starbucks Sephora. You're really gonna to be fair me?

• 1:17:33Speaker 03

Yeah, we just went through Christmas, and a lot of that Sephora stuff was also from our sister.

• 1:17:36Caleb Hammer?

You can't afford Christmas. You can't afford your bills. Christmas is not an entitlement. Oh, God!

• 1:17:45Speaker 05

Twizzy, transaction on your main checking account.

• 1:18:17Speaker 03

  Twixie?

• 1:18:19Caleb Hammer?

  To buy Instagram followers.

• 1:18:21Speaker 03

Not for me. I did like one of those pranks that where you like buy your ex like a thousand followers to make it look like they bought themselves followers.

• 1:18:31Caleb Hammer?

  That classic prank.

• 1:18:34Caleb Hammer?

That everyone knows, have you guys, is this just me?

• 1:18:39Caleb Hammer?

  You got him!

• 1:18:41Speaker 03

He deleted his Instagram after that.

• 1:18:43Caleb Hammer?

Oh, actually? Cash app, Starbucks, Sephora, McDonald's, Klarna, Baskin Robbins, or Dunkin Donuts, Venmoing out 21 bucks, Sephora, Hollister, Amazon, McDonald's, Prime Video, Billy Harwick, Uber Trip, Apple Cash, some out, oh my, really just keeps going, doesn't it, doesn't, doesn't, oh good, oh wonderful, oh good, nothing like a good overdraft fee, nothing like overdrafting on our fucking checking account, not even your checking account? Not even your checking account can be good? Literally not one account is allowed to be without just absolute fuck!

• 1:19:22Speaker 03

  Usually that never happens.

• 1:19:24Caleb Hammer?

Why don't give a fuck it happens? Usually?

• 1:19:28Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:19:29Caleb Hammer?

Usually I never murder someone, that doesn't get me out of a murder!

• 1:19:32Speaker 03

  Can I explain, okay?

• 1:19:33Caleb Hammer?

  Sure, cry.

• 1:19:34Speaker 03

When me and my ex broke up, I was like really-

• 1:19:36Caleb Hammer?

Always comes back to ex, guess what guys, we're not responsible for anything.

• 1:19:39Speaker 03

I was really depressed and I kind of just didn't care about like everything for a while. And I like didn't check like my-

• 1:19:48Caleb Hammer?

Talk to the damn therapist at Sondra Mine, they're great, use your free sessions.

• 1:19:52Speaker 03

I think these are cheaper than therapy, these purchases.

• 1:19:55Caleb Hammer?

I think free therapy is pretty cheap.

• 1:19:57Speaker 03

  Free?

• 1:19:59Caleb Hammer?

  Do you hear words?

• 1:20:02Speaker 03

  I don't know, I feel like,

• 1:20:05Speaker 03

I don't really, maybe it would be, I haven't tried it, maybe it would be good.

• 1:20:09Caleb Hammer?

Buddy, you're a fucking, you're a lost cause. Coach? Oh, like bag coach? Great, I'm sure you didn't have any bags. Winning, guys, BS and TJ Maxx.

• 1:20:29Caleb Hammer?

Let's get your budget. Figure out your minimum monthly debt payments. Kill me now. Once you ca- I'm gonna get your

• 1:20:37Caleb Hammer?

I'm gonna get what your minimum monthly payments are on the cards, once you catch up.

• 1:20:41Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:20:42Caleb Hammer?

Once you catch up on them, instead of owing that big back crap. Even when you catch up, your total minimum monthly payments, it's a third of your income. It's a thousand, uh, about a fourth after child support and everything. A thousand forty-seven dollars and eighty-one cents. Okay, what's your rent?

• 1:20:59Speaker 03

  My rent is thirteen fifty.

• 1:21:02Caleb Hammer?

Utility? Uh, let's get gas. Gas and, uh, uh, gas and electric?

• 1:21:06Speaker 03

Um, for utilities, um, that would be like six, all, my company like groups everything together.

• 1:21:14Caleb Hammer?

  Company?

• 1:21:15Speaker 03

  Rental company.

• 1:21:16Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 1:21:17Speaker 03

So they group like the rent with the utilities?

• 1:21:21Caleb Hammer?

So utilities is included in the thirteen hundred?

• 1:21:23Speaker 03

No, no, no, it's not. Okay.

• 1:21:26Caleb Hammer?

What is your, how much for your utilities, lady? Lady, lady, utilities, number?

• 1:21:31Speaker 03

  Two hundred.

• 1:21:32Caleb Hammer?

  Is that including internet?

• 1:21:34Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:21:34Caleb Hammer?

  How much for internet?

• 1:21:36Speaker 03

  Forty dollars a month.

• 1:21:37Caleb Hammer?

  Gas, vroom, vroom, drive, drive?

• 1:21:40Speaker 03

  Eighty dollars a month.

• 1:21:41Caleb Hammer?

  Car insurance?

• 1:21:42Speaker 03

  One fifty.

• 1:21:44Caleb Hammer?

TP fund, anything else you need to survive, gonna do two hundred dollars for you and your kid. Necessary food, you and your kid, five hundred bucks. Use the meal plan, meal prep, he's not gonna be very happy, I don't give a he's gonna eat his food.

• 1:21:55Speaker 03

  He's really picky.

• 1:21:56Caleb Hammer?

You gotta make it work. Again, talk to the therapist about it. The fact is, you just can't afford. And you got a meal prep, make his favorite foods, meal prep his favorite foods, but you just gotta meal prep a couple of days a week. It's the only way to do it, and you can do it at five hundred bucks.

• 1:22:10Caleb Hammer?

Medical? Anything medical, healthcare on a monthly basis?

• 1:22:14Speaker 03

Um, no, it's already taken out of my check.

• 1:22:18Caleb Hammer?

I know, but do you, uh, prescriptions or anything? Gym?

• 1:22:23Speaker 03

Not yet, but I want to start.

• 1:22:24Caleb Hammer?

Okay, I'll give you, uh, forty bucks.

• 1:22:28Speaker 03

  Okay, it should be fine.

• 1:22:31Caleb Hammer?

I'm not gonna have any subscriptions for, do you have any pets?

• 1:22:34Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:22:36Caleb Hammer?

Any other payments that I have not taken into account that need to be in your budget?

• 1:22:40Speaker 03

  Um, my, the childcare.

• 1:22:45Caleb Hammer?

No, that needs to be an expense.

• 1:22:47Speaker 03

  An expense?

• 1:22:48Caleb Hammer?

In your budget. Do you know what a budget is?

• 1:22:50Speaker 03

Yeah, I'm saying include the childcare.

• 1:22:52Caleb Hammer?

  Into your income?

• 1:22:53Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:22:54Caleb Hammer?

Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry, childcare. So like after school care?

• 1:22:57Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:22:58Caleb Hammer?

  Pre- okay, how much?

• 1:22:59Speaker 03

  It's fifty dollars a week.

• 1:23:01Caleb Hammer?

That's not bad. Two hundred bucks a month.

• 1:23:03Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:23:04Caleb Hammer?

Okay. Three thousand seven hundred fifty-seven dollars eighty-one cents. Uh, and then with your average income on an average month with the child support, we're about four thousand one hundred fourteen net.

• 1:23:17Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:23:17Caleb Hammer?

Good. Okay, so with the three hundred fifty-six dollars left over on a monthly basis, first order business is to get caught up on all the minimum payments. So that has to do with your Quicksilver card, your

• 1:23:30Caleb Hammer?

uh, and your double cash. Once you're caught up on those, then we prioritize, let's just do snowball to keep you prioritized. Smallest balance to largest balance. Smallest balance to largest balance.

• 1:23:41Speaker 03

I actually did just pay off one credit card.

• 1:23:44Caleb Hammer?

  Which one?

• 1:23:45Speaker 03

  It was a...

• 1:23:47Caleb Hammer?

Oh, so one I don't even have?

• 1:23:48Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:23:48Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 1:23:49Speaker 03

  I didn't include that one.

• 1:23:50Caleb Hammer?

Great. Well, we're behind on payments, so.

• 1:23:54Caleb Hammer?

But, okay, cool. Very good. Well, how much was it that you paid off?

• 1:23:58Speaker 03

Um, the balance on that one was pretty low, so I like kept making payments toward it and it was like...

• 1:24:03Caleb Hammer?

Okay, smallest, after you catch up on your payments after about two months, okay?

• 1:24:08Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:24:09Caleb Hammer?

And everything's back to just normal minimum monthly, you're gonna smallest to largest. This should take

• 1:24:19Caleb Hammer?

  three years.

• 1:24:20Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:24:22Caleb Hammer?

  But.

• 1:24:22Speaker 03

  So I'll be thirty.

• 1:24:24Caleb Hammer?

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:24:26Speaker 03

I feel like that's a good place to be.

• 1:24:27Caleb Hammer?

You did math on your own?

• 1:24:30Speaker 03

  No, I'm just excited.

• 1:24:32Caleb Hammer?

  No, I know, I'm kidding, I'm sorry, I'm being a dick.

• 1:24:37Speaker 04

  I'm thirsty.

• 1:24:40Speaker 04

Whatever the hangry version of. Yeah, why don't you just rub that in my face?

• 1:24:44Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, three years, but you can boost that continual raises, obviously. And if you get like a part time job, maybe some customer service from home. You know, call center stuff. If you're able to do some stuff in the evening, once you put the kid asleep even work just a few hours. Whatever it might be, or just email support, we pay a customer support representative. Uh, for our classes and stuff like that. Uh, and she's remote and you know, she's just going through our emails. So anything you can pick up, dude, literally, if you're bringing an extra three hundred fifty six dollars a month. You double this process, you make it a year and a half instead of three. And all you have to do is bring in an extra three hundred sixteen hours a month. I think that's worth it. Isn't it?

• 1:25:20Speaker 03

  It is worth it, yeah.

• 1:25:21Caleb Hammer?

Bring extra thousand, let's get this over in a year, then get us fully funded six month emergency fund. That's critical for you and your position as a single mom. So you need to get a six month emergency fund, everything you need to survive six months. Or 10,000 hours, whichever one is higher. That's the step, I would try to go get a little more money, I'm not saying leave your job. But let's try to get this taken care of in a year and a half, get a fully funded emergency fund, pay off all our bad debt by two years. Two years total, then you're going to contribute 20% to retirement until you die. Well, until you retire. 20% on a monthly basis.

• 1:25:52Speaker 03

  To my 401k or like?

• 1:25:54Caleb Hammer?

Honestly, it might be easier for you to just, yes, call it your 401k, 20%.

• 1:25:58Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:25:58Caleb Hammer?

Let's leave it there. You can go through the investing class and the budgeting class. And the debt class, so you get all the education around this, take all the quizzes, you guys get it for 15% off all. All bundled together, by the way, highly recommend it, tens of thousands of people have taken it.

• 1:26:12Caleb Hammer?

Um, so make sure you go through that and that'll help with that. But as we do follow ups on the financial audit follow up channel along the way. I'll, I'll, I'll help lead you through that process once we get there, okay?

• 1:26:23Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:26:24Caleb Hammer?

That's what you have to do now, it's time to grow up and take control. And if not for you, for your kid, at the very least.

• 1:26:31Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:26:31Caleb Hammer?

Stick around for the post show, guys, join our YouTube membership, it really helps this channel. We're gonna call the X, it's gonna be a juicy one, it's gonna be such a good post show, I'm so excited.

• 1:26:40Speaker 03

  I'm scared.

• 1:26:41Caleb Hammer?

I'm scared too. See you guys in the post show. Oh, Hammer Financial Score, let's do that as well. You said yours is zero out of 10, that sounds about right, but Hammer Financial Score.

• 1:26:55Caleb Hammer?
