Hey, can you come pick me up? Yeah, what's wrong? Nothing. Are you sure? Yeah, no, I just need a ride. Ride, ride. Oh, my God. So what? I just want to have fun. Start your engine. Take that.

• 0:30Benito Skinner?

  I'm Benito Skinner.

• 0:31Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm Mary Beth Brown.

• 0:33Benito Skinner?

  And this.

• 0:33Mary Beth Barone?

  Is.

• 0:34Benito Skinner?

  Ride.

• 0:39Benito Skinner?

One sec, I just need 10 more seconds with these peanuts.

• 0:41Mary Beth Barone?

  No, we're keeping that.

• 0:44Benito Skinner?

I'm just such a dick before we start recording.

• 0:46Mary Beth Barone?

And welcome to Ride Heritage Month, everyone.

• 0:49Benito Skinner?

And just like that, it's Ride Heritage. Are you ready for it?

• 0:55Benito Skinner?

  Starting with a Taylor's version.

• 0:57Mary Beth Barone?

We are gonna do a Taylor's version. By the way, we've gotten so many hitchhikes, we have to sort of sift through and decide which ones we're gonna cover. And I'm, I want to get to a lot of them because there are so many and they're all so ride-coded. Like, it really just shows that the Baronies totally understand what the show is and what it's about, just how accurate these hitchhikes have been.

• 1:15Benito Skinner?

They got it from the top. The girls that get it, get it. And this pod is just like a perfect example of that. Ooh.

• 1:21Mary Beth Barone?

  It is.

• 1:21Benito Skinner?

Peanuts are so good. For anyone who's allergic, I'm so sorry.

• 1:24Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, that would be a really hard way to go through life. Like, that sucks.

• 1:28Benito Skinner?

Well, there was someone who I kiss in overcompensating, and they were allergic to peanuts. And it was like a whole thing. And I just remember showing up to set and my assistant, Abby, I miss you every day, by the way, my babysitter, Abby, she ran up to me and she's like, have you eaten peanuts today? She was so stressed. And I was like, no, am I allergic? Like, in that moment, I was like, wait, fuck.

• 1:52Mary Beth Barone?

Well, your favorite onset snack was, of course, apples and peanut butter.

• 1:55Benito Skinner?

Apples and peanut. Everyone who knows me knows that. And she comes up and she's like, Betty. And like she had told everyone, she was so good at her job, but I couldn't because they would have, I assume, gone into my, the biggest medical term I know, anaphylactic shock. Yeah. Say it with me, Jackson. Heritage, one, two, three. Anaphylactic shock.

• 2:16Mary Beth Barone?

I'll ask Abby if I can tell the story of our rap party one day. I need to get her consent first.

• 2:22Benito Skinner?

Of course. I mean, you are, you are a fucking girl's girl, dude. You should write for being a girl's girl, because you are.

• 2:29Mary Beth Barone?

  I, I.

• 2:30Benito Skinner?

You're a gays girl too, though, so try picking.

• 2:32Mary Beth Barone?

And you know what? I'm trying. You know what I'm trying to do? I'm trying to complete the, the triangle and be a guys girl. Cause as I've said, I think the divisiveness is not working and we need to bring men into the conversation. I talk about that in my new hour.

• 2:45Benito Skinner?

Wasn't that the sound of right heritage?

• 2:47Mary Beth Barone?

  That was.

• 2:48Benito Skinner?

Open up a brewski. What's it called? A noonner? What do you guys call them in Australia? Skuna. Skuna.

• 2:54Mary Beth Barone?

  They call it breakfast.

• 2:55Benito Skinner?

Someone DM'd me and said, can you have Jackson say peri-oral dermatitis? Cause it'll be amazing. Peri-oral dermatitis? Oh, and they were right.

• 3:03Mary Beth Barone?

  They were right.

• 3:05Benito Skinner?

I feel like I'm on a flight. I'm having a little, so it's very censorial today.

• 3:09Mary Beth Barone?

First of all, stop trying to spoil my ride.

• 3:12Benito Skinner?

  I know, sorry.

• 3:13Mary Beth Barone?

  Stop bringing up airplanes.

• 3:15Benito Skinner?

  Okay, I'll knock it off.

• 3:16Mary Beth Barone?

So some things to start with today. I wanted to just say whoever first said end of an era, I wonder if after they said that, they were like, holy shit, write that down.

• 3:24Benito Skinner?

It's gotta be F. Scott Fitzgerald.

• 3:26Mary Beth Barone?

  F. Scott Fitzgerald.

• 3:28Benito Skinner?

You are so, we, okay, you're like really hard on me, this right heritage. Literally, you make someone your muse and then they shit all over you.

• 3:39Benito Skinner?

Heritage is so heritage because what's crazy is that we're doing something that your ex-lover, like it's his term, which I love, but that's so cool. That really shows like a healing for me, like from the Scorpio side of myself to like to do this. And also I really do still love the man, like so dearly.

• 3:56Mary Beth Barone?

Well, think about everything. I mean, so sometimes you leave a relationship and you focus on the negatives, but sometimes you leave a relationship and you think, wow, I am able to take so much away from that, that whole, like era, end of an era. When Edward and I broke up, it was very end of an era. But I feel like I took away so much good and positive and I learned so much about myself. And ultimately we learned the meaning of heritage. And so I feel like we can always celebrate the wins of a relationship.

• 4:22Benito Skinner?

And that's what we're doing this whole month. Also, you know what's funny? I don't know if we've talked about when you both told me that you were breaking up. Have we talked about when you told me? They were driving me back from a lake in Canada and I'm literally seated, front seat, with you driving Edwards in the back and I was eating beef jerky. I remember I can smell it. I can smell the sadness. I can't even, I haven't touched beef jerky since. You've ruined it for me. It was like honestly very emotional for me.

• 4:51Mary Beth Barone?

It was emotional. It was emotional and it was.

• 4:54Benito Skinner?

You know, I don't know how it was for you, but for me it was emotional.

• 4:57Mary Beth Barone?

There were tears. There were tears, but I think it's just like, I look back on the whole time as such like a joy. I feel like I couldn't be where I am now without that whole time. So I think.

• 5:08Benito Skinner?

  Of course.

• 5:09Mary Beth Barone?

It was sad though. I mean, I, I think we were both as surprised as anyone, but now we have a great friendship. We actually spoke today and we're trying to be very evolved about it, but it just feels easy because I think he is a good person.

• 5:21Benito Skinner?

  Well, he's heritage.

• 5:22Mary Beth Barone?

And he saw me through my late twenties, early thirties. That's such like a pivotal time in a young woman's life.

• 5:27Benito Skinner?

  Yeah. Any young gay men's.

• 5:29Mary Beth Barone?

  Any young gay men's.

• 5:31Benito Skinner?

Any young gay man who's right.

• 5:32Mary Beth Barone?

Who's riding shotgun in the backseat of his car.

• 5:36Benito Skinner?

They just broke up and told me and I was like, let me out of this car.

• 5:43Mary Beth Barone?

  And it is Taylor's version.

• 5:44Benito Skinner?

That's Taylor's version. I think, wait, she hasn't done that one yet, has she? We're still waiting on debut and Reputation and I'm a huge Reputation. If I was one Taylor album, it's Reputation. I think that album. You know, I know a lot of people think it's about revenge, but it's actually about someone, about falling in love when you're at your lowest.

• 6:01Mary Beth Barone?

Listen to Delicate is all I have to say. And if you don't get it, then you'll never get it.

• 6:05Benito Skinner?

  In a getaway car?

• 6:07Mary Beth Barone?

I mean, it didn't get far. The first Taylor Swift song I ever heard was Our Song.

• 6:12Benito Skinner?

Oh my God. I heard Tim McGraw. I think that was my first one. And when you hear Tim McGraw, I hope you think of me. Edward texts me, when you eat beef jerky, I hope you think of me.

• 6:20Mary Beth Barone?

I hope you think of me.

• 6:20Benito Skinner?

He's always taunting me. I will say that.

• 6:22Mary Beth Barone?

When you go to Muskoka, I hope you think of me.

• 6:25Benito Skinner?

  Yeah, wait.

• 6:27Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, it's been a big year. Oh, my God, we made a TV show and it's coming out. I would say the ultimate celebration of Ride Heritage Month, and we can't give any information about when the show's coming out or anything like that. No plot details, but the show will come out.

• 6:40Benito Skinner?

It's coming out very, very soon. I think by now you would have seen First Look, and then you would have seen Daddy in Vanity Fair. I hope. I certainly hope so.

• 6:49Mary Beth Barone?

  Rushed out to the newsstand.

• 6:51Benito Skinner?

Millie Bobby Brown on the cover. Now that's heritage.

• 6:53Mary Beth Barone?

  The great American newsstand.

• 6:55Benito Skinner?

  Yes, you have to.

• 6:56Mary Beth Barone?

I also wanted to touch, and this feels very heritage to me. So I finally figured out my problem with all these shows and movies about Watergate and podcasts even. We need to stop talking about Watergate because I know Nixon is in hell thinking I'm the reference. And it's like, I don't think we should do that anymore.

• 7:13Benito Skinner?

I think Nixon's kind of like, really? It's not even that big of a deal. You know what I mean?

• 7:19Mary Beth Barone?

He's like, what? Worst shit happens every day now. You guys need to move on. It's like sad and pathetic at this point.

• 7:24Benito Skinner?

Literally. I think Nixon's like, God, fucking get over it. Like, leave me alone.

• 7:29Mary Beth Barone?

It's crazy what people used to get in trouble for, like, not that long ago, that once again politicians will say on TV and they will tweet, it's crazy the standard that politicians are held to, which isn't, there is none. There's no standard.

• 7:40Benito Skinner?

Yeah, so none, I would say. Hey, Nixon, I'm looking at him down there. I'm not saying what you did didn't suck, but I don't think you're the worst. Let me just say that.

• 7:49Mary Beth Barone?

It's also so funny to me that when a Democratic scandal happens, it's like Nancy Pelosi's doing insider trading. And then when a Republican scandal happens, it's like, so he actually raped 19 women, he killed three dogs, and he is actually currently has a gun pointed at you. And I'm like, oh, how are they?

• 8:06Benito Skinner?

  Everyone's coming to me like.

• 8:07Mary Beth Barone?

They're just not held to the same standard.

• 8:10Benito Skinner?

No, but we are just getting so numb to everything. It's actually crazy. Like, oh, my God, if you watch a video game recently, it's just like, it's it's Slaughterhouse. Or like even horror movies lately, I am, I find them to be relaxing in a way that I it troubles me.

• 8:28Mary Beth Barone?

  I completely agree.

• 8:29Benito Skinner?

I watched a whole, you know, I watched the JonBenet Ramsey thing for six hours, and I was just stone-faced the whole time. Like, I was, I was. I was eating Greek yogurt while watching that. Like, that's where we're at as a society. I'm scared.

• 8:42Mary Beth Barone?

I know. I'm scared too. No, I'm really scared. And I think just like, I'm finding ways of coping that feel healthy and okay. And, and can I just say?

• 8:54Benito Skinner?

  What?

• 8:54Mary Beth Barone?

Oh my god, I had a near death experience today.

• 8:57Benito Skinner?

Oh, you went to face gym again?

• 8:59Mary Beth Barone?

  I, I, close. I went to Pilates.

• 9:01Benito Skinner?

Do you know I think about that all the time? Mary Beth went to face gym and said, I just blew through a red light.

• 9:06Mary Beth Barone?

No, it was actually really, really scary. And I think because I have a galaxy brain, whatever the like neurons or whatever, like electrodes they put on your face. It made me blackout at the wheel and I almost killed Edward and myself.

• 9:19Benito Skinner?

I know, sorry. I, I think about it all the time.

• 9:22Mary Beth Barone?

  In a getaway car.

• 9:24Benito Skinner?

Booking it from face gym and like really, like just ripping through a red light.

• 9:28Mary Beth Barone?

I was so shaken up. I had to call my mom immediately. I pulled over.

• 9:32Benito Skinner?

Last place you had gone was face gym?

• 9:34Mary Beth Barone?

Near death experience today, I was at Pilates. I was at a session with my guy. And he put my legs in the straps that were connected to springs, these really long, like three foot springs. And you're supposed to push your legs straight and then bend them and straighten them and bend them. The spring snapped.

• 9:51Benito Skinner?

  Oh my god.

• 9:52Mary Beth Barone?

And it hit my foot and it hurts so much. It's weird because I've been thinking about have those springs ever snapped? And like, if it had hit my face, it would have done some serious damage on, on that soft skin. Luckily it hit my foot, but it hurts. He was like, I have, that's literally never happened before in all the years I've been teaching. He was like, this is a brand new string. He was like, you're, I think you're too strong and you broke it.

• 10:13Benito Skinner?

They had never seen strength like that. He had never seen kegel strength like that in his entire life.

• 10:19Mary Beth Barone?

So it was actually scary. My foot hurts.

• 10:21Benito Skinner?

This cookie is strong as hell. And you said, I know that's right.

• 10:25Mary Beth Barone?

  It made me feel alive.

• 10:27Benito Skinner?

Yeah. Oh, I agreed. It woke you up. That's what I was thinking. I used to say never skydive, but now I'm like, I don't know. Maybe it would be like, you know, if someone forced me to go up there, I would do it, I guess. Well, they just turned off the lights. It's time for bed for you in, in Alcatraz, huh?

• 10:42Mary Beth Barone?

One of my lights just went off. They said, they said, speed it up bitch.

• 10:45Benito Skinner?

They said nighttime. Hey, it's the warden.

• 10:48Mary Beth Barone?

They said, two episodes today? You're pushing it.

• 10:51Benito Skinner?

  Hey.

• 10:52Mary Beth Barone?

Sorry. Sorry, guys. I'm almost done. Um, okay. So Riot Heritage, should we reflect on this season a little bit? I feel like it's been a total whirlwind.

• 11:02Benito Skinner?

You know what Terry said to me recently? He goes, I can't believe you managed to do that and make a show. You guys did that and I'm, I'm really proud of us. But you know what? I'm not even proud of us. I'm proud of the Baronies because they make it fun. They make it worthwhile and I love, I, I've loved the peace of this and the space of this to come and see my girl, not on the screen, on a different screen. And that they, you know, I have to thank all the people who locked you up for giving you that, that space to do this still.

• 11:28Mary Beth Barone?

Totally. And I think the second half of this season specifically, I feel like when we were making the show, it did get a little stressful at times because we were, we were filming in the week and then recording on the weekends. I hope that didn't show, you know, I hope that didn't come through in the episodes themselves.

• 11:41Benito Skinner?

I really don't think it did.

• 11:42Mary Beth Barone?

But I, I will say the second half of this season feels especially fun to me for some reason. I think it's because we have like so much to look forward to. And even though things are really scary right now, like this is like such a place of joy.

• 11:55Benito Skinner?

This is communal and it's heritage and we're celebrating our Baronies and our babies. May they never experience the loss of a child. I just fuck with y'all so heavy and like, I just think that this is, this is our happy place and we need some of that. And I think that's what the show is. And I think that's what overcompensating is. It's just like, it's about your girls and being cozy in a bed with your besties. And maybe even getting Sephora delivered today of 10 bucks. 10 bucks if you're in a city that does that. I found that out today. So it's kind of just cool. Like we can, we can still find happiness and I think it's about not giving any of them the airtime, any of those freaks the airtime and just focusing on how to take care of each other. And that's what we're going to do. And that's heritage. To me, that's heritage.

• 12:41Benito Skinner?

That's what it means to me at least.

• 12:42Mary Beth Barone?

I agree. And we're working on our core values and I can't wait to post them and share them with you all. And when I'm in solitary in my padded cell and I'm ready to give up, I just think about the community I'd be leaving behind. And I think, well, I can't leave yet. I have, there's more work to do. We have more art to create and trouble.

• 13:00Benito Skinner?

This is how we do. I'm your sister. This is how we do.

• 13:02Mary Beth Barone?

  This is how we do.

• 13:03Benito Skinner?

  This is how we do.

• 13:07Benito Skinner?

  We do it like that.

• 13:08Mary Beth Barone?

  This is how we do.

• 13:10Benito Skinner?

I'm your sister. Sis, can someone make me that, please?

• 13:13Mary Beth Barone?

Best dance move. Do you see what I'm doing?

• 13:14Benito Skinner?

  Oh, yeah.

• 13:16Mary Beth Barone?

I'm Sophia Nygaard and this is my latest video. Tyler and I went to the Singapore airport to see the jewel and see the waterfall.

• 13:23Benito Skinner?

  Did I send you that?

• 13:24Mary Beth Barone?

  No, I watched it.

• 13:25Benito Skinner?

  Did we talk about this?

• 13:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh my, oh no.

• 13:26Benito Skinner?

Oh my god, Ms. Nygaard took us to the airport in Shanghai? Where is it?

• 13:33Mary Beth Barone?

Airport. Uh, I think it's in Hong Kong. Singapore, Singapore.

• 13:38Benito Skinner?

Singapore. It blew me away. She spent a whole day there and I can't imagine what we'd get up to in there. You want to talk about arcades? You want to talk about them all? So, I'm eating peanuts and so I'm gonna let you go first, which is very you-coded. So, we're doing Taylor's version, but we didn't write for these things at the same time, but these are just two things that we kind of want to rerecord.

• 13:59Mary Beth Barone?

Yes, and so I will be writing for the fact that we don't know how planes fly.

• 14:03Benito Skinner?

  And I already am scared.

• 14:04Mary Beth Barone?

And what are you writing for?

• 14:05Benito Skinner?

I'm writing for sparkling water, again.

• 14:08Mary Beth Barone?

  Again.

• 14:08Benito Skinner?

  I'm so excited.

• 14:10Mary Beth Barone?

There's gonna be one less lonely girl.

• 14:13Benito Skinner?

There's gonna be AG1, one less lonely girl.

• 14:18Benito Skinner?

  I'm a [bleep] it.

• 14:19Mary Beth Barone?

Oh my god, just like people declutter their homes in March, it's also a great time to refresh your nutrition and daily habits. Feeling refreshed and ready starts your gut. It starts in your gut, I should say.

• 14:29Benito Skinner?

  Yeah, yeah, totally.

• 14:29Mary Beth Barone?

But it also starts your gut. And the pre-probiotics in AG1 helps to support digestion.

• 14:34Benito Skinner?

How does AG1 help you simplify your wellness routine?

• 14:36Mary Beth Barone?

Well, it's delivering nutrients and like all that shit that I wouldn't be getting otherwise.

• 14:59Mary Beth Barone?

Well, grammar has gone the way of the clog and I wanted to bring that up in the AG1 ad.

• 15:04Benito Skinner?

So unlike other supplements that make big claims without the research, AG1 is formulated based on the latest science in nutrition and wellness.

• 15:10Mary Beth Barone?

When it comes to my health, I want something I can trust and that's why it's AG1.

Sometimes it's easy to spend just as much time deciding what to make for dinner as you do deciding what to stream. You can say that again. And before you know it, the night's over, you haven't watched anything and you've eaten ramen again. If that sounds familiar, it might be time to streamline dinnertime with Home Chef.

Well, it's time for you to talk about your Article chair again.

• 17:37Mary Beth Barone?

I did order two chairs from Article. My apartment's too small for both, so I got one taken to my parents' house, and I have one in my home and two lamps. I love Article. • 19:27Mary Beth Barone?

  Wait, where are we going?

• 19:29Benito Skinner?

  Who cares? Ride!

• 19:31Mary Beth Barone?

So, my ride went kind of under the radar because it was in an episode of Obsessed Bleep It where it was like obsessions of the year. I think it was like our last episode of that year, whatever year that may have been. But I rode for the fact that we don't know how planes fly. I think it was 2012, 2015. I had just moved to New York and I had my whole life ahead of me. Welcome to New York. Remember when she was the tourism ambassador?

• 19:54Benito Skinner?

Oh, when she said bodegas are your friend? It's my favorite Taylor Swift video of all time. We'll post it. It's literally incredible. She says bodegas are your friend. She was like the mayor of New York.

• 20:02Mary Beth Barone?

  She basically won there.

• 20:03Benito Skinner?

  What, like it's hard?

• 20:04Mary Beth Barone?

No, it's not hard. She was the tourism ambassador after releasing the song Welcome to New York. And then she was carried around in a trunk the entire time that she was tourism ambassador. So, how much business did she drum up? I'm not sure.

• 20:16Benito Skinner?

She was carried in a trunk? Wait, tell me this more.

• 20:19Mary Beth Barone?

  Whoa, so you-

• 20:20Benito Skinner?

  Were they kidnapped her?

• 20:21Mary Beth Barone?

No, she lived in an apartment in New York and she was getting harassed so much that they had to take her, whenever she would leave her apartment or go in it, they'd put her in a trunk and they'd carry her.

• 20:31Benito Skinner?

Oh, that's very you when you like-

• 20:33Mary Beth Barone?

  Being taken to school?

• 20:35Benito Skinner?

  It's you going to school.

• 20:36Mary Beth Barone?

The trunk is padded and it has a comforter in it. I'd be so sad. I wouldn't care. That's why my padded cell here.

• 20:41Benito Skinner?

It's, no, that's what I'm saying. That's when you have to do press for overcompensating. That's what we're gonna have to do to get you out of there.

• 20:46Mary Beth Barone?

You carrying me out in trunk. I can't believe you missed this. There's photos of her, like the trunk with Taylor in it.

• 20:51Benito Skinner?

I've seen her at her show when she did the like, she's, she's in the like cleaning, the, what's that called?

• 20:56Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, I can't wait to hear this.

• 20:58Benito Skinner?

During the era stores, she was in like a cleaning, like, like, almost like a-

• 21:02Mary Beth Barone?

Where they keep the brooms and stuff?

• 21:03Benito Skinner?

Like a cart. Yeah, she's in like a cleaning cart. And they put her in, and then fans, it took them like three minutes and they're like, that's tea.

• 21:10Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 21:10Benito Skinner?

  You know?

• 21:11Mary Beth Barone?

  That's Miss T.

• 21:12Benito Skinner?

Oh, oh my God. My favorite video right now on the internet is Alabama Barker going through her Christmas presents and she says everything is tea. And it's like such a misuse of the word. Terry and I can't stop laughing. I literally think to myself all the time, like, my Christmas presents are tea. It's like, what the fuck does that mean? I love her, by the way.

• 21:32Mary Beth Barone?

Remember we played that game like two summers ago where you had to show a picture of someone that you kissed to the group and then everyone had to guess who- So, okay, there's this game that we played one summer where everyone sent me a picture of someone that they've made out with. I randomized them. I show each picture to the group and then everyone has to write down who they think kissed that person.

• 21:50Benito Skinner?

This is a perfect game for Heritage, by the way.

• 21:53Mary Beth Barone?

Perfect game for Heritage. And maybe I'll do like a video explaining it or something if you're not following. But anyway, I was like the, I was the moderator, so I would show all the photos. And basically, so many people had made out with the same people and like everyone was kind of like queer coded and or just like fully queer or gay. And you had hooked up with girls previously, so it really threw off the numbers.

• 22:13Benito Skinner?

I threw off the numbers and it just, it got to the point where it was just like, it got so difficult. That's why I said this.

• 22:19Mary Beth Barone?

You went, you went, maybe what we're doing is wrong.

• 22:23Benito Skinner?

Like, in that moment, I thought to myself, maybe Ann Coulter spilled. Maybe Ann Coulter is tea. Maybe Candace Owens is tea.

• 22:35Mary Beth Barone?

Thank you for bringing up Candace Owens, because she's from my hometown.

• 22:38Benito Skinner?

  Oh, my God. Wow.

• 22:40Mary Beth Barone?

Candace Owens, we don't ride for you. And actually, I was thinking for Heritage Month, we could do maybe a die episode. I wouldn't do Candace Owens, but I do think that she is repugnant, if I could say that. And I think that she shouldn't be on TV.

• 22:53Benito Skinner?

Isn't she obsessed with the Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni thing now? That's like filling her days.

• 22:59Mary Beth Barone?

  Whatever, bitch.

• 22:59Benito Skinner?

I guess she could be doing worse. I'm like, if that's filling your days, like, fine. If this'll consume you, take it away.

• 23:07Mary Beth Barone?

  Stay busy. Anyway.

• 23:09Benito Skinner?

Yeah, so maybe what we're doing is wrong.

• 23:11Mary Beth Barone?

Maybe what we're doing is wrong.

• 23:13Benito Skinner?

And that's my Hermes Birkin I got for Christmas is tea. I don't personally know if that's tea, but okay, maybe it is. I don't know. Fuck it. I'm not the keeper of tea.

• 23:24Mary Beth Barone?

So, welcome to New York, Taylor's version. There was an article written that I didn't see right away. I, it came across my desk a few months after.

• 23:34Benito Skinner?

I didn't see it right away.

• 23:35Mary Beth Barone?

I didn't see it right away. Once I saw it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. It's on the scientificamerican.com before you try to come for me and say, I'm not quoting reputable sources. Scientific American. And I don't know how much longer this website will be up in our current administration. So if you are interested in this article, you should go read it while you can.

• 23:53Benito Skinner?

No, chances are, like, it's not like- Fucking good. Someone recently told me that their boyfriend worked in, it was something with like water. And then the, the word environment popped up and I was like, oh, well, he's about to lose his job.

• 24:03Mary Beth Barone?

  His days are numbered.

• 24:04Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 24:04Mary Beth Barone?

  His days are numbered.

• 24:05Benito Skinner?

That sounds like a really useful, important thing. I wouldn't expect that to be around soon.

• 24:09Mary Beth Barone?

No. So there's an article in the Scientific American and it's, it's titled, No One Can Explain Why Planes Stay In The Air. And then the subtitle says, Do Recent Explanations Solve The Mysteries Of Aerodynamic Lift? So essentially what millions of people do every day, which is take flight in the air in the steel birds. We actually don't know exactly how planes stay in the air. And so there are two competing theories from what I understand, but we don't know which it is and me, maybe we'll never know.

• 24:41Benito Skinner?

Is this, this is insane to me. I thought it had to do with aerodynamics and wind and the shape of the wing. You know what I mean? It was like similar to how a bird flies. Like we use the exact same physics. I mean, the Wright Brothers like tea.

• 24:55Mary Beth Barone?

The Wright Brothers is, is tea.

• 24:59Benito Skinner?

I'm just like, fuck the Wright Brothers tea. I'm just like, god damn it. I guess the Wright Brothers do just seem like a couple of brothers and not Albert Einstein.

• 25:07Mary Beth Barone?

  Or Galileo.

• 25:08Benito Skinner?

But they all probably lived at the same fucking time.

• 25:11Mary Beth Barone?

No, they were getting brunches together. That's what's crazy. So basically this guy named John D. Anderson, Jr., curator of aerodynamics at the National Air and Space Museum and author of several textbooks. Anderson said, there is actually no agreement on what generates the aerodynamic force known as lift. There's no simple one liner answer to this, he told Times.

• 25:31Benito Skinner?

  Jesus.

• 25:32Mary Beth Barone?

People give different answers, some with religious fervor, but the question we're left with is why should it be so hard? For scientists to explain what keeps birds and airliners up in the air. It's like, I think if Galileo were alive right now, he could probably figure it out. And it's not to say that our most brilliant minds, like I'm sure they're working hard or maybe they don't care because planes fly. And that's just, we don't maybe need to explain it, but I feel like if Galileo was here, he could, he could solve this.

• 25:58Benito Skinner?

He could crack this. This would be his like Da Vinci Code.

• 26:01Mary Beth Barone?

This would be his fission or whatever. This would be his Oppenheimer.

• 26:04Benito Skinner?

Well, yeah, his, his Da Vinci Code. I have to ride for Dan Brown's trilogy. I don't know what it's called, but like I have to ride for that at some point.

• 26:12Mary Beth Barone?

You teach me so much because I've never read that.

• 26:14Benito Skinner?

So this makes me sick and I obviously, I don't know exactly what's happening within the airline industry. I am so terrified. I am so saddened, horrified. This just scares me beyond belief. And to me, I think you're writing for this because I think you want the answer, right?

• 26:33Mary Beth Barone?

I do, and I think it's really big of scientists to just admit the things that we don't know and can't explain.

• 26:39Benito Skinner?

I wish they hadn't said they didn't know this one, though. Can I just say?

• 26:43Mary Beth Barone?

Look, it's the, it's the facts of life, to bring it back to sitcom theme songs.

• 26:47Benito Skinner?

  Jesus.

• 26:47Mary Beth Barone?

You take the good, you take the bad. You take them both and there you have the facts of life. We just don't know.

• 26:52Benito Skinner?

God. So I'm up there and they like, think we could plummet at any moment?

• 26:56Mary Beth Barone?

No, they know that the physics of it works. They just don't know how or why. I mean, there are theories. It's just like, I don't think that there is, there's not like one theory that the entire scientific community can agree upon, from what I understand.

• 27:09Benito Skinner?

  Jesus.

• 27:11Mary Beth Barone?

And there's a lot of big words in this article, and I'm not saying I even understand the explanation of how we don't know, but I just think it's interesting that like, we're still figuring things out and it's, it's very dare to dream.

• 27:23Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I would love us to clean it up, though, in a huge way.

• 27:27Mary Beth Barone?

The, the, what's happening in the airline industry right now is terrifying. And as someone that's flying more than ever for tour, I'm just like, I'm scared, I won't lie. And then people telling me, you're much more likely to get in a car accident. I'm like, great, because I'm really anxious in the car, too. So thank you for saying that.

• 27:42Benito Skinner?

So, oh, good. Okay, well, then, yeah, my favorite is when people are like, you're more likely to die on the way to the airport than in the plane. And it's like, thank you?

• 27:50Mary Beth Barone?

  That's so comforting.

• 27:51Benito Skinner?

How badly do you want me dead? How badly do you want Benny Drama dead?

• 27:54Mary Beth Barone?

How many ways have you thought of me dying, bitch?

• 27:56Benito Skinner?

Of me dying, dude. Yeah, that's to me, oh, God, it just, it all makes me so sick. The second I feel turbulence on a plane and like, oh, I swear to God, kids are always laughing during it. And I'm like, do you think this is a fucking game? My show hasn't come out yet.

• 28:09Mary Beth Barone?

  It's not a game.

• 28:11Benito Skinner?

It's not a fucking game. Oh. I'm definitely more of an anxious fire. You can tell from all of this. I mean, even talking about it makes my lower back sweat a little bit. Because it's just, it's scaring me right now.

• 28:21Mary Beth Barone?

There are so many mysteries of the world and it's just kind of crazy that we can't really explain it. We can't explain how the universe came to be, I guess, sort of. So it's like.

• 28:28Benito Skinner?

I can't believe we can put someone to sleep, give them a new heart and they wake up. How crazy is that, dude?

• 28:35Mary Beth Barone?

That is so crazy to think about.

• 28:36Benito Skinner?

That shit crazy. It's, that to me is unbelievable. And I would wear concealer as a doctor. I thought about it more.

• 28:44Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, totally. I, I fully, I fully back you on that theory.

• 28:47Benito Skinner?

Now, would I wear bronzer? I don't want them to think that I have a beachy glow. You think I would?

• 28:51Mary Beth Barone?

I think you would. Cause you want them to feel safe.

• 28:54Benito Skinner?

  Bless your nose.

• 28:55Mary Beth Barone?

A little bit, a little bit.

• 28:56Benito Skinner?

  Gloss.

• 28:57Mary Beth Barone?

You're in the ga- you're in the gallery, babe.

• 29:00Benito Skinner?

Don't make me laugh. You already got me all nervous for how these planes.

• 29:04Mary Beth Barone?

Look, I'm not trying to make you nervous. It's just cool to think about. It's cool to know more about it. But what, what is interesting to me is that for so long, humans were on earth and we were trying to figure out ways to make life better, like open heart surgery, like flying planes, like all this innovation, the internet. And now it feels like we've surpassed that into just making people's lives harder. Alan Cumming said something so profound on The View. He goes, why are there politicians taking rights away from people? What kind of country is that? We should be giving people more rights.

• 29:34Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 29:34Mary Beth Barone?

Doesn't make sense. So we've lost the entrepreneurial spirit, the actual entrepreneurial spirit of humanity. Like, for so long, we were making all these like crazy innovations and steps forward. And now we're like, we're moving backwards. I don't like it.

• 29:47Benito Skinner?

When the first Frozen came out and we had Pitch Perfect and Frozen and Miley Cyrus's Bangers, I just felt like we were moving in the right direction in, in so many ways.

• 29:56Mary Beth Barone?

  Obama's America.

• 29:57Benito Skinner?

Oh, Obama's America. I miss you, King. I can't believe people looked on, speaking of Nixon, and I hope you're listening down. There you little I think that here's my thing. I can't believe someone looked at the ballot, saw JFK and then circled Nixon. It should have been 100%.

• 30:16Mary Beth Barone?

Those are people that didn't have TV. They only had radio. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. Didn't you learn that in school?

• 30:22Benito Skinner?

Oh, yeah, because they heard the Boston accent.

• 30:24Mary Beth Barone?

Everyone who heard the debate on the radio thought that Nixon won the debate and everyone who watched it on TV thought JFK won the debate.

• 30:30Benito Skinner?

Oh, my God, that is such an AP US history fact and you are so correct.

• 30:34Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, my God.

• 30:35Benito Skinner?

Wait, that's tea. So sparkling water, there's so much more to say.

• 30:40Mary Beth Barone?

The industry has completely blown up since our episode.

• 30:43Benito Skinner?

Well, it's like at me, sis. So it's hard to not circle back on something like this and be able to take my work back and own that work. When something like Maison Perrier Ultimate has come out and hit shelves. Obviously, I'm a Topo Chico girl. Topo Chico till the death of me, till the day I die.

• 31:06Mary Beth Barone?

  And it might kill you.

• 31:07Benito Skinner?

Oh, and it might because recently I think it tried to. It went down the wrong pipe in a way I couldn't even believe. It was like my collarbone was burping. It hurt so bad. It was full. Like, it was like I drank hot acid and I laughed with it because I'm like, it's classic topo. Sparkling water has really hit the world in a way that I'm, I'm just so excited about. For anyone who's trying to have a little less soda. And I know there are all these like prebiotic sodas, but jury's still out on if those are like that much better. I don't want to have four of those a day. Let's just be real. So sparkling water is such a great way to get that fix, get that bubble. It's sensorial and you know, that's huge for me. It is my comfort drink.

• 31:52Benito Skinner?

I have it when I'm in the tub. Since we talked about it last, Terry's sister Claire got me a water bottle that turns any water in it to sparkling.

• 32:01Mary Beth Barone?

  How?

• 32:01Benito Skinner?

I can do it on the fucking move. I'm literally a magician of sorts. Like I can literally very Jesus.

• 32:08Mary Beth Barone?

It's very now you see me.

• 32:10Benito Skinner?

It's so now you see me three coated. You can, it's so now you see that you are so funny. That's like, that's so brilliant. Sometimes it hits me. You're genius. Now you see me is so, oh my God, me, you, Terry and your new man are kind of the new cast of Now You See Me.

• 32:27Mary Beth Barone?

  Now you three me.

• 32:29Mary Beth Barone?

  Well, that's what they're saying.

• 32:30Benito Skinner?

  Now you threw me.

• 32:31Mary Beth Barone?

  Now you threw me.

• 32:32Benito Skinner?

But literally people will be like, oh, no, I'm good. I don't really like still water. And then I press a button on a bottle and I give them sparkling. It's like, it's just now I know how Jesus felt. I'll just say that much.

• 32:44Mary Beth Barone?

You brought sparkling water back into my life because when I was a kid, I thought sparkling water was too spicy. That's what I used to say. It tasted spicy to me. That was the only word I knew to describe it. But then, you know, there's been a total boom in sparkling water. There's your La Croix, you have your Spindrifts, you have your Liquid Death. Now, I wanted to bring up Liquid Death on the pod, but I wanted to wait for this episode because that is a water brand that has taken the world by storm. I believe it's a billion dollar brand and it looks like an energy drink, but it's water. And so they have sparkling water. Speaking of bodegas are your friend because bodegas are carrying the Liquid Death economy on their backs and there is an Arnold Palmer. And all the names are like, kind of like heavy metal vibes.

• 33:26Mary Beth Barone?

I just think, you know, they, they took something simple like water and they just like built an identity. They built an identity.

• 33:32Benito Skinner?

  Yeah, they made it.

• 33:32Mary Beth Barone?

And dear media, if you don't clip that, I swear to God.

• 33:35Benito Skinner?

  Fuck you.

• 33:36Mary Beth Barone?

I'll show up at your house.

• 33:39Benito Skinner?

That's very Liquid Death of you. They're kind of like gunslingers. Here's the thing, they're only in bodegas, as you said so beautifully, that have wood in them. They're built with wood.

• 33:49Mary Beth Barone?

  Yes.

• 33:49Benito Skinner?

Those bodegas, that's very, that's the energy, you know, where you kind of pulled a curtain and then all the Liquid Deaths are there. I love Liquid Death. I think they're fantastic. I'm a topo girl forever. Now, there was one that I've, there's two that I'm not, they're not my favorite. Pellegrino and Perrier. They're probably the most popular, but I would say there's not enough sparkle for me. I like, I like it spicy. I like it nasty. All of a sudden I look on the shelves recently and Maison Perrier comes out with a couture version. Maison Perrier Ultimate. Wow. It's not as spicy as a topo, but wow, she's a banger. I bought a whole case. I won't even lie. I bought a case the other day. I was like, this has got to come home with me.

• 34:31Mary Beth Barone?

  Or it's just water?

• 34:32Benito Skinner?

I think they might have flavored ones, but I've only had pure as of now and they just blew me away. I won't, they've come onto the scene and she's the new it girl. Actually, I probably Liquid Death is the new it girl, but I'm just saying like Maison Perrier, she is coming. She's like artisanal, sweetie, and she's so delicious. And I'm just excited that there's a new member because sometimes they don't have Topo, but Perrier is kind of everywhere. So I'm finding in gas stations Maison Perrier Couture Ultimates.

• 35:01Mary Beth Barone?

Well, here's what I don't like. When a drink will present itself as a flavored sparkling water, and it is actually a soda. So Pellegrino has a really sneaky thing.

• 35:11Benito Skinner?

  Oh, those lemonadas?

• 35:13Mary Beth Barone?

They have 25 grams of sugar, if not more. That's too much for me. If I'm drinking water, let water be water, is what I say. Please. No frills. Let's just let it be water.

• 35:24Benito Skinner?

  Make America water again.

• 35:25Mary Beth Barone?

Wait, make America, let kids be kids and let water be water, you fucking queer woke bitches. You're ruining this country.

• 35:32Benito Skinner?

I know Republicans don't like sparkling water.

• 35:35Mary Beth Barone?

  Of course not.

• 35:35Benito Skinner?

  Too learned.

• 35:36Mary Beth Barone?

Too, way too learned, too sophisticated. Much like I think a mom's flip flops is a window to the eye of the soul or whatever. I think that the sparkling water brand you carry can tell a lot about you. So you like Topo Chico Bonito?

• 35:51Benito Skinner?

Don't even, don't you dare. We know which one Iliadia likes.

• 35:56Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm a Liquid Death girl.

• 35:57Benito Skinner?

  And your black parade t-shirt?

• 35:59Mary Beth Barone?

  Of course.

• 35:59Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 36:00Mary Beth Barone?

People that want to present sophistication, they're doing a Pellegrino or a Perrier. And I'm like, you're not fooling anyone.

• 36:06Benito Skinner?

Yeah, no, they're like, I travel. But I'm like, do you even know how you travel? Do you even know why that plane stays up in the air?

• 36:12Mary Beth Barone?

  No, and I'm filming you.

• 36:13Benito Skinner?

And by the way, I don't want Perrier. Do you have Maison Ultimates? Wait, they need to reach out to me for an ad campaign I would gladly support.

• 36:20Mary Beth Barone?

Can you do it in the style of?

• 36:22Benito Skinner?

Duh, Diamonds are Dead, and it's me sizzling in a bath. That's all Maison Perrier. And then they, they turn to me and I go, the ultimate. That's it. I'm filming you.

• 36:32Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm filming you.

• 36:33Benito Skinner?

You know what? The gods gave us Ferrero Rocher, but their water was Maison Perrier Ultimate. I don't know if I talked about it in the last one, but I do have a soda stream, so I cook now.

• 36:45Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, I wanted to say on soda streams, I feel like I'm in the mines. I don't need to hear it. Please soda stream before I get there. Not you specifically, but if I'm at someone's house and they soda stream, I'm like, are we vacuuming? What's happening?

• 37:00Benito Skinner?

You did not just say the mines.

• 37:02Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm in the mines, babe.

• 37:03Benito Skinner?

Girl, oh my God. You know what that immediately brings me to?

• 37:07Mary Beth Barone?

  You're so loud, baby.

• 37:08Benito Skinner?

That immediately, I just thought to myself, October Sky, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Laura Dern. We're in the mines. You're so correct. I, it is me kind of getting my hands dirty in a way. And I will say, like, I, I go through the gas so much because I like it spicy. So it almost feels more wasteful. So if anyone has a trick for that, I just, I have to like, do it to death where it's,

• 37:34Benito Skinner?

but when I take out the gas canister from that, I'm like, this does feel like machinery a gay guy like me shouldn't be able to operate.

• 37:40Mary Beth Barone?

Should not have. Much, much like the Pilates reformer feels to me at times. I like, I'm not supposed to be working with something like that. I feel like soda streams are, you should need a license. So I don't need to see, not in front of my salad.

• 37:55Benito Skinner?

It is, I, I used to have ours out on the table. It is now in a cupboard. Terry doesn't like seeing things on the table.

• 38:00Mary Beth Barone?

Well, I think it's cute. You put an apron on to do it. It's your, it's, it's yes chef.

• 38:05Benito Skinner?

I love it. I have to. It's like my one thing I like to ask people, would you like any sparkling water? And then I go cook. Daddy's cooking. Oh, and they're, they're making liters of Topo Chico now. So that's just been huge for me.

• 38:16Mary Beth Barone?

  That's scary.

• 38:17Benito Skinner?

I mean, I'm so excited. Putting a glass straw in a big liter and just chugging it and just burping for 25 minutes straight. Your burps, have we ever talked about that?

• 38:26Mary Beth Barone?

Uh, I'm not sure if we've gotten into that yet on Ry.

• 38:29Benito Skinner?

They're shocking. She has the craziest burp you've ever experienced.

• 38:32Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 38:34Benito Skinner?

  That's what it sounds like.

• 38:35Mary Beth Barone?

There's a demon that lives in my chest. I've been through a lot in my life and people don't really know that.

• 38:39Benito Skinner?

  Liquid Death, sweetie.

• 38:40Mary Beth Barone?

  It's Liquid Death.

• 38:41Benito Skinner?

You, wait, you are so the spokeswoman for Liquid Death and I am so, my son, hey, it's not. Or Topo. I mean, Topo, by the way, anyone from Topo listening, like you're still number one. I just want you to know that. But I'm just saying, it probably feels good to finally have some competition.

• 38:57Mary Beth Barone?

Us talking to sparkling water brands.

• 39:01Benito Skinner?

  The range, sweetie.

• 39:02Mary Beth Barone?

We're like, no one innovates anymore. What happened to the spirit of entrepreneurship? The industrial revolution?

• 39:09Benito Skinner?

No, exactly. I'm like, more businesses. Come on, I know you can do it.

• 39:13Mary Beth Barone?

  Please.

• 39:13Benito Skinner?

No, I just, I really think that sparkling water, it's such a healthy alternative and it's a great way. Because I'll just be honest, I just, sometimes I don't love the taste of water. And one person told me that it's the exact same as drinking water. And then another person told me that it's just, it's not. It's not as good for you as just having water. Guess who I'm gonna choose to believe?

• 39:34Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, the former. And we can get into ride or die.

• 39:37Benito Skinner?

You know what you are, Mary Beth?

• 39:39Mary Beth Barone?

  Bisexual?

• 39:40Benito Skinner?

Well, yeah, but you're also my ride or die. Ride or die.

• 39:45Mary Beth Barone?

Obviously, I ride for sparkling water. To me, it's a luxury. I feel luxurious when I'm drinking it.

• 39:50Benito Skinner?

  And you deserve that luxury.

• 39:51Mary Beth Barone?

Cause it's a little something extra. It's a little sparkle, you know? I love diamonds, be it lab grown or from the mines. And I also think something we haven't even touched upon yet is the water brand that appears in overcompensating, which we wanna take to market.

• 40:09Benito Skinner?

  Oh my God, okay, so.

• 40:11Mary Beth Barone?

But I don't think you should spoil it. But I'm like, I want you to, but I don't think you should.

• 40:15Benito Skinner?

Well, okay, here's the thing. I think now they're gonna see it because I don't know if you see it that well in the show. It's something, it's very, it's, there's a lot of Easter eggs in the show because I really hope that you wanna watch it multiple times. In my wildest dreams, it becomes like your comfort show that you put on a season whenever you just need to feel good and spend time with your besties. So what's funny about making a college show is that all the characters are underage. So you can't actually use any brand name alcohol brands in the show. So I had to come up with the names of alcohol brands.

• 40:47Mary Beth Barone?

Which are, it's some of your best work.

• 40:50Benito Skinner?

  Thank you so much.

• 40:50Mary Beth Barone?

I would be howling on set because I didn't know what they were.

• 40:53Benito Skinner?

  And you'd see the poster.

• 40:54Mary Beth Barone?

And then I'd see a poster. And I don't think you should spoil it. I want people to find it.

• 40:57Benito Skinner?

Okay, cuz could I give one away? Because it was so funny. I loved it so much. It's just such a gay guy naming something. One is called. Moose Knuckle Brewing Co.

• 41:10Benito Skinner?

And I remember you go to me and you go, who's the gay guy who thought of this?

• 41:14Mary Beth Barone?

I said, I shouted the F slur at you.

• 41:16Benito Skinner?

You did. Do you have any?

• 41:18Mary Beth Barone?

  A few times.

• 41:18Benito Skinner?

Did you take any of the posters? Someone did.

• 41:20Mary Beth Barone?

I do have a can of the water, the African water.

• 41:23Benito Skinner?

Oh, that's good. Okay, good. I don't think I have one, which makes me so sad.

• 41:26Mary Beth Barone?

I have one and I'm getting it bronzed.

• 41:28Benito Skinner?

Oh, good. Okay, put it in resin.

• 41:30Mary Beth Barone?

With the liquid still in it, yeah.

• 41:31Benito Skinner?

  Put it in resin.

• 41:31Mary Beth Barone?

So I ride for sparkling water and I think whatever little daily treat you can have for yourself, be it a Ferrero Rocher, be it popcorn with nutritional yeast, whatever it is, indulge.

• 41:42Benito Skinner?

I love a flavor in them. I love the, the aha, you know, that brand? They have them at the, those Coke machines that will make something. I wouldn't ever call it Coke or Diet Coke or Coke Zero.

• 41:53Mary Beth Barone?

  I know what you mean.

• 41:53Benito Skinner?

It's kind of the most disgusting version of that thing that they make, but they have a flavor of, and that's really fun at the movies sometimes. Just get a huge one and you chug it and then you just piss at the end.

• 42:03Mary Beth Barone?

  So much.

• 42:04Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 42:05Mary Beth Barone?

Justice. The last thing I'll say on sparkling water is justice for coconut La Croix. And I don't want you to say anything. I don't need you to respond. Okay, good.

• 42:12Benito Skinner?

Yeah, it can lean soap, but is that so bad?

• 42:15Mary Beth Barone?

I don't think so. It's like if it, if it makes me think about sunscreen being on the beach in my happiest days.

• 42:21Benito Skinner?

See, I love La Croix. It feels very eighties to me and it's fun. I, I know that someone told me there's like something bad for me in it. And I'm just like, maybe you're bad for me.

• 42:30Mary Beth Barone?

I think it's like beaver something. It's a hormone they harvest from beaver anus. I don't think it's in La Croix though. I think it's in some of the other ones.

• 42:37Benito Skinner?

  It's in Fireball.

• 42:38Mary Beth Barone?

We don't know how water becomes sparkling.

• 42:40Benito Skinner?

So I'm going to do the first thing I've ever done on the podcast today. I'm going to ride and die for yours.

• 42:45Mary Beth Barone?

Wow, I love that. You're reinventing the form.

• 42:48Benito Skinner?

Yeah, because I think you can do both in this instance. I die for the fact that we don't know it. I ride for the fact that we're being honest that we don't know it.

• 42:56Mary Beth Barone?

  Totally.

• 42:57Benito Skinner?

And I ride for, I ride for the innovation of it, but then I kind of die for the fact that we went right into it and built a whole world around flying.

• 43:07Mary Beth Barone?

  Booming industry.

• 43:08Benito Skinner?

And we don't exactly have the answers. Yeah, it's, let's just say it's complicated.

• 43:12Mary Beth Barone?

It's complicated and I would like to challenge you. Since you've died for one thing, you've died for one thing that I've done. And now you've, you've, you ride and die for this. I need you to put something in front of me that I could go either way upon because all I'm getting are hits. Nothing but the hits. And sometimes you have to be vulnerable and you have to just put something out there that you say, this might make my co-host feel scared, uncomfortable and make his lower back sweat. But it's all in the name of discourse.

• 43:37Benito Skinner?

No, what you've always done that for me, you challenge me, but I challenge you too.

• 43:41Mary Beth Barone?

  In other.

• 43:42Benito Skinner?

Remember when two gay guys made you cry up in the air?

• 43:45Mary Beth Barone?

And how did we get up there? No one knows, but how did I start crying? Everyone knows that you made me cry.

• 43:50Benito Skinner?

The flight attendant knew, well, you didn't want to do a merch shoot and we had to talk.

• 43:54Mary Beth Barone?

  That's not what happened, Ellen.

• 43:55Benito Skinner?

  That is what happened.

• 43:56Mary Beth Barone?

  That's not the truth, Ellen.

• 43:58Benito Skinner?

  They tried to cancel me.

• 44:02Mary Beth Barone?

On that note, happy ride heritage month. Thank you to Edward, who will always be a part of the podcast family. And we will always think of him when it's right heritage month and when a heritage episode comes out.

• 44:14Benito Skinner?

I'd love to crack open a liquid death with him right now. That's sweetheart. We love you.

• 44:18Mary Beth Barone?

Next time we go to London.

• 44:20Benito Skinner?

Totally. I can't say enough how fun it is to be another right heritage month is upon us. And how lucky are we to continue doing a pod? I mean, to have a pod not get canceled, like that's, we have to be excited.

• 44:31Mary Beth Barone?

And cheers, cheers to the future.

• 44:34Benito Skinner?

Cheers to the future. This month's gonna be crazy. I'm so excited. Also, just like the next few months, it's just joy. It's very like Maggie Rogers feral joy tour in a lot of ways. Like I'm excited to get into it and yeah, I hope they let you out during, but if they don't, you know, you'll still.

• 44:50Mary Beth Barone?

They're trying to negotiate. They're brokering a deal. I'm not sure what's happening. I gotta talk, it's my agents brokering the deal.

• 44:57Benito Skinner?

  So of course.

• 44:58Mary Beth Barone?

It's all mixed up in contracts, but I'm going to get out soon, I hope.

• 45:01Benito Skinner?

If we ever went to prison, would we still have our agents?

• 45:04Mary Beth Barone?

I think we would. And, and congrats to Biden for signing with CAA. I think we should end on that note.

• 45:10Benito Skinner?

Well, of course, tier media, one, two, three. Clip that. Happy right heritage. I'm coming here.

• 45:22Benito Skinner?

Oh, my exit. Benny babe, eyes on the road.

• 45:26Benito Skinner?

  Benny, go.

• 45:36Speaker 05
