Biden’s Diagnosis, Wuhan Fallout, and the Dangerous Future of Biotech | The Tom Bilyeu Show

Welcome back to Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu. In this episode, Drew and I take you through a whirlwind week where politics, world affairs, and tech innovation collide. We dissect Biden’s shocking cancer diagnosis and what it means for the country, dig into Bernie Sanders’ eyebrow-raising admission about the Democratic Party, and go deep on just how broken the government really is—and how (or if) it can ever be fixed. We tackle the big questions: What does it take to create a thriving middle class? Should we trust the government to spend more and do more, or do we need to completely rethink the machine? Are we living through a crisis of vision, where our leaders offer no North Star to inspire the country? And with news breaking on both the NIH’s gain-of-function research and China’s clampdown on gene editing, are we prepared for the next wave of scientific disruption? Let's talk about the moment your side hustle becomes a real business. Now, I see way too many founders stay stuck running their business like it's a hobby, and then they wonder why nothing ever feels real. It doesn't feel real because it's not. I've helped thousands of entrepreneurs build real businesses through Impact Theory University, and the first step in the path to building a legit business is registering it. And Taylor Brands will help you do just that in a few clicks. An LLC, a limited liability company, is an official business structure. It's inexpensive to form and very simple to maintain. It's how you open a business bank account. It's how customers know they're dealing with a real company. And Taylor Brands doesn't stop at the filing.

Biden announces devastating cancer diagnosis with curious timing. Bernie admits the Democrats are a threat to democracy. NIH director says COVID may have started in Wuhan and his employees walk out. Xi Jinping confiscates the passport of a top scientist known for editing human embryos. Trump says Putin may be ready to begin the peace process. And Cash Patel is being hellous us about releasing the Epstein files. Microsoft also announces a whole new era of agentic AI. Drew. It's another week of political theater.

• 2:11Speaker 02

Starting with some heavy news, Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. He tweeted early this week, "Cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support." I want to send, you know, our well-worn wishes to the Biden family.

• 2:29Tom Bilyeu?

I think there's three things that are simultaneously true. It is devastating that he's been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. And I know his son died of cancer as well, and it's absolutely brutal. Literally, I'm still doing scar healing from having cancer removed from my face, and that's the world's like most minor thing ever. So I can only imagine. Super heavy. The timing, though, is, I think, directly related to the release of the book that's coming out, Original Sin, from Jake Tapper. And the subhead of this is pretty crazy. President Biden's decline, its cover-up, and his disastrous choice to

• 3:11Tom Bilyeu?

run again. So needless to say, I think the book is going to be pretty damning in terms of the accusations towards the administration. And listen, the second thing that is true is that despite the fact that you don't want to go too hard on the pain on somebody that's just been diagnosed with cancer, you can't hide from the massive cover-up. There's nothing to debate. They were obviously covering it up. There's nothing to debate. Either everyone in the Biden administration was completely blind, cannot in any way, shape,

• 3:52Tom Bilyeu?

or form judge human performance, in which case, we have an even bigger problem, or they were leveraging somebody that they could maneuver, manipulate, position, poise, like however you want to think about it. But they had a puppet that they could move around the chessboard and they didn't want the American people to be aware of it. So when I think about the way that the game of political theater works, it is, it's the architecture of the human mind. Humans don't want to pay attention to this stuff. Most of the time, they just want to fall in love, live their life, make some money, love their family. They don't want to deal with this stuff. We are manipulated because we are manipulatable.

• 4:33Speaker 02

It seems now that there's kind of like an appositor happening. I seen Jake Tapper on Meghan Kelly, talking about, yeah, we were wrong. We thought it was one thing. It happened to be another thing. Is there any percentage of you that thinks that maybe he was okay? Or was it just nah, political man is animal and?

• 4:50Tom Bilyeu?

Man is political animal. There is no universe in which he was okay. I think that having people in office that are over 70 years old already, you are trending in the wrong direction. You want people that are in the prime of their cognitive life. You want people that have high energy. You want people that are of the moment. First of all, like, I can already feel from a social commentary standpoint, that there's a band of people that I can speak to and that I understand. And so it's, you know, maybe 15 years below you to 15 years above you. When you're young, you feel like you're all that's relevant. And then as you get older, you realize, uh oh, we're all actually just in this band that moves with us. And so if you're, I mean, how old is Trump? Like, he's pushing his

• 5:31Tom Bilyeu?

late 70s, right? So you're in a position now where you represent this really old block, where half of the people that are 15 years older than you are just dead. And so it really, you want people that are in their prime, that are super vital. And Biden was anything other than that. And I think what we want to look for in our political figures are people that we look at and we say, I can esteem this person, that I can point my kids at them and say, like, look, that, that is a person that lives by the kind of values that I want you to live by. Now, look, I get it. A long time ago, we abandoned political figures representing any of the moral standards.

• 6:16Tom Bilyeu?

By which we want to live by, but I'm saying I don't know that that was the right answer. I don't know that abandoning that is the ideal. Now, man is political animal. I don't know that it's possible to get into that position unless you have wild narcissistic tendencies, where you want the attention, you believe that you're right, you believe that people should listen to you. You covet the position because you think you're the right person for the position. And that very cognitive framework is in and of itself the danger. And I don't know what you do about that, man. I don't know that there's a way around it, but oh, man, I really don't like looking at the entire political apparatus and being grossed out.

• 6:57Tom Bilyeu?

And I remember as a kid, looking at the political apparatus, going to Washington DC for the first time and being in awe. I was there not too long ago, like six months or whatever. And even then, like you see all the monuments, it feels some kind of way, like it really does feel.

• 7:14Tom Bilyeu?

Presidential is the word that keeps coming to mind, but what like whatever. Whatever that bigger thing is where it's like, there's some honor, there's some sense of awe. There's a sense of being a part of something that's bigger than you. That's the picture, that's the thing that we paint, that's the aspiration that we put forward, but none of it's real. I came across stuff about Lincoln. And you want to talk about somebody that I revere because of the story that's told about Lincoln. Dude, this is a paraphrase, but Lincoln said, if I could keep the union together without freeing a single slave, I would do it. And it's like, god damn.

• 7:56Tom Bilyeu?

And so he ends up doing the Emancipation Proclamation because he feels the threat of Europe coming in to tear America apart. And he's like, we've got to find some way to make this a fight that people would feel morally abhorrent being on the wrong side of. And so if I can make this something that Europe beat us to, which is abolishing slavery. If I can make this about slavery, even though it wasn't, and he stated multiple times in documentation that that's not what it was for him. If I can make it about slavery, then I can get Europe to be like, ah, damn it. Now we can only be on one side. We can't be on both and just fund both sides and see whoever wins and who the fuck cares. America's getting too powerful, we want to tear it apart.

• 8:40Tom Bilyeu?

We'd much rather be in a position where it's like divided states again. And so it's like, oh, that's so gross. And so I'm in this position of like, hold on, like, I want there to be these really empowering narratives about whatever, about what a man should be, about what America is, about what the Civil War was. And then you really get under the hood and it's always ugly, petty, economic, political. And it's just like, Jesus Christ. And so could he have gotten elected if he didn't play the game? Probably not. Uh, would the slaves have been freed? Had he not played a political game? Probably not.

• 9:21Tom Bilyeu?

But is it absolutely gut wrenching that he didn't do it? Like, I always thought of him as a man that died for a moral stance. That I'm willing to risk tearing America apart to make a stand for this moral thing. And then as you look the beast in the eye, you realize it wasn't fucking that at all. And so it's like, what do you do? Do you, do you then like push that and say, oh, there's no heroes, boys and girls? There's no one for you to look up to. Uh, or do you tell the story?

• 9:53Speaker 02

And honestly, that's what's jumping out to me in this whole monologue that you had is that it seems like we traded in America as the entity to know America isn't good. This side is saying it's like this, where another side is saying, America isn't the thing because, and then they have kind of their own narrative. So instead of us doing what's best for country, we now do what's best for the political person that has taught us how to view the country in like a new way. So it's almost as if we traded in this boilerplate, America is great kind of tagline. And everybody's now moving toward that direction to now small, different factions of political people who are saying, America isn't it, it's this thing. Or in trying to like, pull our attention away to get their own narrative pushed forward.

• 10:37Tom Bilyeu?

There has to be an aspirational narrative because that's how the human mind works. And listen, I was originally drawn to film just because I loved stories. And I won't lie and say that when I was 12, I understood that I wanted to make empowering stories. But as I developed the motivation to tell stories around wanting to uplift people, I realized how powerful that is to have a North Star, to have something to aim at.

• 11:09Tom Bilyeu?

We're all going to face hard things in life. And in those moments, you're going to be locked inside your head. And there is going to be a narrative on play. What that narrative is, is up to each individual person. Who do you want to be? How would the person you want to be act in that moment? And then act accordingly. I cannot tell you how many times I will go through something and feel like, I'm not actually the person that I want to be. But I'm being given an opportunity right now to say, okay, even though I'm this completely flawed and wildly insufficient human, how close can I get to acting, at least acting,

• 11:52Tom Bilyeu?

the way that the person I want to be would act? And it changes your energy. It changes your level of aggression is how I think about it. It allows me to put my chin down and barrel forward into hard things because the person I want to be would do that. And if I need that narrative inside my own head, I know that we need it at the family level. I know that we need it at the country level. Like you've got to tell people, here is this thing that we should all aspire to. And so I want to live in a world where instead of it all being about Biden's a loser, Trump's a loser. It's like, hey, we both have visions of how to make America amazing. We both have visions of how America is amazing right now, today. And we want to do more of that.

• 12:38Tom Bilyeu?

And instead, it's, nobody has a vision for the parts that are awesome now. Nobody's shining a flashlight on the parts that we can be proud of. Everybody's just got some reason about why XYZ part sucks. And if you point the flashlight at anything to say this thing is awesome, somebody's going to come and tear it down. And it's like, I'm not even saying that what they're saying isn't true. I'm just saying that the deranging effects of putting the flashlight only on the negative things is really distressing.

• 13:07Tom Bilyeu?

I am admittedly, in my own life, the deeper I delve into politics, I am thinking through this stuff in real time because I'm trying to end every deep dive video with like, okay, but what do we do? I don't want to just wallow in problem, problem, problem.

• 13:20Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 13:21Tom Bilyeu?

And the answer of what we do is how we frame things matters. You need to stare nakedly at how things really are so that you're not easy to trick. Because we're so easy to trick because we just, we want to feel the way we want to feel. And we'll lean into whatever narrative makes us feel that way. If we want to be outraged, we'll lean into the narrative that outrages us. If we want to feel uplifted, we're going to lean into the narrative that uplifts us. So you become very easy to fool. So you do have to understand how the world works. Every bit of the ugliness of politics that I look at, I feel like, oh my God, I'm going to make so much money off this. Because I understand what to pay attention to economically to win. It's crazy. I've, I've never felt more confident in my ability to navigate markets. Now, I could be wrong. I want to be very clear about that. But there's something about like, oh my God, I'm actually seeing how this works.

• 14:07Tom Bilyeu?

But I am not willing to allow myself to become cynical. And man, I just want to see more of that. I want to see people give a vision that's positive.

Quick break, but don't go anywhere. There's more to come after this short break from our sponsors. Luxury brands are not charging you more for better cashmere. You're paying for the storefront, the ad budget, the name on the tag. But Quince cuts all of that out. They work directly with ethical factories. They skip the middlemen and sell 100% Mongolian cashmere, starting at just 60 bucks. 50 to 80% less than similar brands. Now, I gave one of these as a gift last year. It was a big hit and gifting is really the test of a brand. You might tolerate a lot of stuff in your own closet that you would never give to somebody else. • 16:40Speaker 02

Yeah, I think the first step is to take a look in the mirror and understand where we are and how far we've come from where we could be. And Bernie Sanders was forced to do that as he sat down with Andrew Schultz during a podcast taping earlier, and he was talking about the problems of what happened and the threats to democracy that some of the political parties aren't acting.

• 17:01Tom Bilyeu?

  This is crazy.

• 17:02Speaker 03

The problem I think a lot of voters had is like, they didn't even know if it was her. We didn't even know if Biden was president. We didn't even know if these were her talking points. And we felt that over the last four elections, Democrats, we felt that we didn't have a say on who could be president. We talk a lot about the Republicans being autocrats and oligarchs and taking over democracy. But from the Democrat perspective, and I'm a lifelong Democrat. I felt like the Democratic Party completely removed the democratic process from its constituents. And I think they need to have some accountability of that.

• 17:36Speaker 04

  No argument here.

• 17:37Speaker 03

I donated for you. I wanted you to, like, 2016, I was like, this is gonna happen. This guy's gonna do it. And it felt like they, it felt like they stole it from me. And I'll be honest, it broke my heart when you, when you supported him.

• 17:49Speaker 04

Look, but you have, in the world that I live in, you got a choice. And, I mean, a lot of people, including my wife, agree with you. But, you know, you're down to a choice. Is it gonna be Hillary Clinton or is it gonna be Donald Trump? Not a great choice.

• 18:06Speaker 03

But it ended up being him anyway, so why don't we burn it down?

• 18:10Speaker 04

Well, because it's easy to say. Burning it down means that children are not gonna have, you know, food to eat. That the schools will deteriorate. People will not have healthcare.

• 18:19Speaker 03

  I got it.

• 18:20Speaker 04

And I, you know, I'm an elected official. I gotta represent the people.

• 18:22Speaker 03

  That's fair.

• 18:23Speaker 04

And I can't turn my back on.

• 18:24Speaker 05

But then could we not also say, ostensibly, there hasn't been a fair primary for the Democrats since 2008? Are they not also a threat to democracy? We often hear.

• 18:33Speaker 04

Fair enough. That is, that is, yeah, I'm not gonna argue with that point.

• 18:37Tom Bilyeu?

One, I'm impressed that Bernie is just outright willing to admit that the behavior of the Democratic Party is a threat to democracy. I don't wanna make it about the Democratic Party. I think Republicans also, if they could, if Trump could become emperor, he would. I just, I don't see anything to tell me otherwise. If somebody said to him that, hey, you could run for three more years, 10 more years, 12 more years. He would do it until he died. I really believe that. Washington was given the opportunity and he didn't take it. So I know that there are people that would say, no. Like, that isn't the right thing for the country. And Trump wouldn't, I don't think the Democratic Party would. In my position, you have a choice.

• 19:20Tom Bilyeu?

They'll put up whoever they need to, to just keep the ball rolling. And the fact that he's willing to admit that, I really respect. But the most interesting thing in what he said is that.

• 19:35Tom Bilyeu?

He doesn't say man is political animal, but that's what he's talking about. And he, he had to do something and he knew that if he split the party, then Trump was more likely to win. It's a little unfair of Andrew Schultz to make out like he could have known that that was going to be the result.

• 19:51Speaker 02

That was the same year, Trump has no shot. This is Hillary's year.

• 19:55Tom Bilyeu?

Bernie's gotta roll the dice and say, listen, I think that I, I know that if I pull attention away, that we're gonna lose. Like that basically becomes a guarantee. And so the system is, Tom Billy's words corrupt. It is what it is. That's how politics works, says Bernie. Uh, and so I'm gonna put my weight behind Clinton, who for whatever reason has more control of the democratic machine than I have. So I get all of that. Now, I think Bernie is quite literally, uh, I, I think he's an unhinged lunatic. Like I don't, the, the policies that he puts forward are so emotionally driven and so economically illiterate.

• 20:42Speaker 02

Uh, yeah, I think that's a bit harsh. I think that

• 20:45Tom Bilyeu?

  Hit me with it because

• 20:45Speaker 02

I think it comes from a good place though, because I think

• 20:47Tom Bilyeu?

What the fuck does that matter? Literally, what does that matter?

• 20:51Speaker 02

You represent people, so you represent the interests of those people. And if I could do something that can help those people, I'm going to try to push legislation that can help those people.

• 20:57Tom Bilyeu?

I agree, but when, when your legislation has never ever in all of human history shown that it helps your people, why the fuck do it? People are not tracking chain of logic. They are not following cause and effect. They are following feels good, do it. Mike, like I actually believe Bernie believes what he says. There are plenty of reasons. You can point at Bernie and be cynical. I'm not gonna do that. I think Bernie believes what he's saying. But dude, this is a guy who, and I couldn't give you the quotes or anything, but I know that he went to Russia, honeymooned in Russia or something like, this is somebody that has a legitimate, please look it up.

• 21:39Tom Bilyeu?

This is somebody that as far as I know, has legitimate affinity for, I'll say the USSR. And that's madness. And anybody that can't understand that

• 21:56Tom Bilyeu?

Creating a set of inputs that has outputs that are greater than the inputs, like that is a miracle. When you think that redistribution is the miracle, like we're already in La La Land.

• 22:11Speaker 02

I understand that, and I understand that communism leads to eating babies, socialism.

• 22:15Tom Bilyeu?

But hold on, do you actually?

• 22:17Speaker 02

  I do.

• 22:17Tom Bilyeu?

Or have I said it so many times now that it's just a joke?

• 22:20Speaker 02

I actually understand. I think though that there is a line between increased taxation, efficient use of government resources.

• 22:28Tom Bilyeu?

  Yep.

• 22:29Speaker 02

And starving babies. So I do think that there is a window right now. If it takes 10 clicks to get to eating the babies, I feel like Bernie Sanders was at click number two. I do think that there is a way right now to bite into businesses profit margin. Exxon's gonna be mad, the pharmaceutical industry is gonna be mad. A lot of business owners are going to be upset because this is going to increase their expenses. It's gonna have a second order consequence that is going to then hurt people, it's gonna hurt business. But there are going to be people that are gonna say, okay, instead of me making 10 billion in profit, I'm gonna have to make 5 billion in profit and reallocate those resources to this government program that's gonna increase the health, care of my employees, that is going to do other things that can ultimately lift those constituents.

• 23:12Speaker 02

I do think there is a narrow slit of we can fix these problems. We can enact more socialist policies that can help long term without completely flipping the switch and saying, everything redistribution, billionaires need to not exist, things like that.

• 23:27Tom Bilyeu?

Let me ask you a question.

• 23:28Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 23:31Tom Bilyeu?

If somebody ran into this room right now and they were screaming in Vietnamese and they clearly needed help, who would you go to for the help? Would you turn to me?

• 23:44Speaker 02

I feel like I would turn to you. I wouldn't turn to you because I'm not sure you can speak Vietnamese.

• 23:48Tom Bilyeu?

  I can't speak Vietnamese.

• 23:48Speaker 02

I would not turn to you.

• 23:49Tom Bilyeu?

Not a lick, but. Is there somebody in the office that can't speak Vietnamese?

• 23:53Speaker 02

  I believe so.

• 23:54Tom Bilyeu?

  Yes.

• 23:54Speaker 02

  Will speak.

• 23:55Tom Bilyeu?

  Will.

• 23:55Speaker 02

Okay, yes, okay. Well, we'll talk.

• 23:57Tom Bilyeu?

  You don't go to me.

• 23:58Speaker 02

  Uh huh.

• 23:59Tom Bilyeu?

Because I can't speak Vietnamese. The government can't spend money efficiently. The government is a fucking psychopath of I want to get bigger. All governments want to do is grow. If you allow them to absorb more money and spend, they'll keep doing it and keep doing it and keep doing it. And they only have one mechanism, man, and they will print fucking money. If you do not give the money to the organization that has proven that it can allocate those resources in a literal magical way where you create a set of inputs that yield a better output than the inputs. You're a lunatic, just like you'd be a lunatic if somebody came in here and they're screaming Vietnamese and you don't immediately go to Will and say, Will, you speak Vietnamese. What the fuck is the problem? How do we help this person?

• 24:44Speaker 02

Going back to cynicism though, is that, that is a cynical view of the government? And do you think that this government is beyond, is the government too big to fix, too big to reform?

• 24:53Tom Bilyeu?

So governments are awesome. Governments are necessary, but you have to understand what the government is good at and what the government is bad at. The government is very good at defense. Cool. We want to make sure that the government does defense. The government is very good at getting big. And so we know if we feed it, it's going to grow. And so then we have to ask, as it has grown, have the outputs of the governmental system gotten better? Have we gotten healthier? No. Has our education gotten better? No. Have people gotten wealthier? No. Has life expectancy gone up? No. So it's like, I don't know what metric people want to look at to say, oh, this is working.

• 25:34Tom Bilyeu?

Everyone can feel something is very wrong, very wrong. You could sit me next to Gary's economics and both of us are going to be like, something is very wrong for the average person, screamingly wrong. Maybe I didn't grow up as poor as Gary. I did not grow up well off.

• 25:55Tom Bilyeu?

I've seen poverty up close. I've been broke. I want to see the average person win.

• 26:03Tom Bilyeu?

But Gary and I are gonna beat very different drums. But when you push Gary on cause and effect, he just keeps saying, "I'm gonna keep betting, and I'm gonna keep winning." But what he's betting on, Drew, is that the government's gonna print money. It's the only thing he's betting on. Asset prices are gonna go up. And the reality is, that system is broken for a very specific reason. And that reason is that governments are terrible with money. They will deficit spend if you give them the ability to. They literally don't care about any sort of short to medium-term fixes. All they want is

• 26:47Tom Bilyeu?

to give their constituents the feeling that they're fighting for them. That's it. And this becomes a thing of you have to define your base assumptions. Once somebody tells me, "Innovation is not helpful." Okay, well, there's nothing for us to talk about. Because innovation is the very thing that's pulled people out of poverty.

• 27:11Speaker 02

I don't have beef with any of that. I think that that's very valid. I see the one, two, and three, the cause and effect of it all. I think specifically, even taking the Gary economic thing off the table, I do feel like the government can reform in a way that can allocate resources that can help people. I do think that there can be reforms. I do think that people will be-

• 27:30Tom Bilyeu?

By giving them more money? What would you do to reform the government?

• 27:32Speaker 02

I think we just need to do a very substantial audit of where we spend our dollars. Because when we need certain things-

• 27:38Tom Bilyeu?

  So you love Doge?

• 27:39Speaker 02

Uh, yeah, I don't have beef with Doge. Doge should exist, yes. My beef in general, though, is that when it comes to reform of capital markets, when it comes to reform of taxation, that is dealt with higher scrutiny than the reform that was necessary to get the government. Right now-

• 27:55Tom Bilyeu?

I didn't understand that. It's dealt with higher scrutiny. What do you mean?

• 27:58Speaker 02

People would rather talk about how inefficient the government is instead of saying, "The government, let's make the government become more efficient." Even the word "government" is like, "Nope, since it's a government, there's no way that it can be working and operating unless it's these three categories," to your point earlier. Unless it's defense or getting bigger, that's all the government is good for. I think the government can be good at other things. If we just shrink its perception and what it's focused on. I don't think the government should be doing 40 things, but I think if we put the government in charge of six things, and these are the six things that they do for the US, I think we will be okay.

• 28:27Tom Bilyeu?

I mean, it's an interesting hypothesis. It's just very detached from reality in terms of we have, I forget how many hundreds of departments.

• 28:41Speaker 02

But that's my point. If those hundreds can turn into six, defense, education, EPA, FDA, food. I feel like infrastructure, transportation, and maybe an extra spy agency because we need to know where the terrorists are. Like, if you give me those, like, six, and they take a step back out of everything else, I feel like, give the states more power, increase it. That cuts our spending 60% because we're not doing entitlements and things like that.

• 29:10Tom Bilyeu?

Then you and I don't disagree on anything. Here's the great news. If you did that, you wouldn't need more taxes.

• 29:18Speaker 02

If I did that, I wouldn't need more taxes.

• 29:20Tom Bilyeu?

  Correct.

• 29:22Tom Bilyeu?

Quick break, but don't go anywhere. There's more to come after this short break from our sponsors. You're probably paying two salespeople to do one salesperson's job. That's where today's sponsor, Pipe Drive, comes in. An intelligent, AI-powered sales CRM loved by growing sales teams. Pipe Drive just launched meeting intelligence built right into the CRM. Before every call, it pulls deal history and past conversations into one brief. During the call, it records and takes notes. After it, it drafts your CRM updates to review and approve. So there's less admin and more selling.

• 30:01Tom Bilyeu?

Switch to a CRM built by salespeople for salespeople and join the over 100,000 companies already using Pipe Drive. My link gets you an exclusive 30 days free instead of the usual 14-day trial. There's no credit card payment needed. Just head to pipedrive.com/impact to get started. Again, that's pipedrive.com/impact, and you can be up and running in minutes.

• 30:30Tom Bilyeu?

All right, we're back. Let's get into it. You generate four trillion dollars a year in taxes.

• 30:39Tom Bilyeu?

Trillion. So the problem is, you spend six trillion. That's your problem. So if you literally did what you're saying, which no one will ever do, but if you did, that would be amazing.

• 30:54Speaker 02

And I know a lot of people. So the problem comes down to, it's not necessarily the problem of the government. It's what will happen. And we're saying, you're saying, the government will never get shorter. They will not cut entitlements. It's political suicide. So this government is only going to go one way. Bigger, larger, spend more inefficiently.

• 31:12Tom Bilyeu?

I won't say that. And I certainly, every president that gets into office should do their best to constrain government, to make it as efficient as possible. Nobody should come into office being cynical. So let's not even talk about Trump. Let's talk about Clinton. They did a great job. Narrowed the focus of government, built a surplus, reduced spending, very Doji. They didn't, you know, use the words or have Elon Musk, but it's the right idea. So I love that. I want to see more of that. But that isn't the moment that we're in. The moment that we're in is populist. The moment that we're in is go be strong man.

• 31:54Tom Bilyeu?

So whether you want Trump to go slap around the international community, or you want Bernie to come in and slap all of the billionaires around, you want somebody slapped around. And it's just a question of who you want slapped around. And I am really not enjoying a populist moment.

• 32:13Speaker 02

That I can agree with you on.

• 32:14Tom Bilyeu?

So for me, the goal really needs to be a positive vision of our country. It needs to be a way to

• 32:25Tom Bilyeu?

de-intelligently reduce our reliance on China. I won't even say decouple, but like, we need to be smart about that. It's about finding ways, all the people that have totally disengaged from the workforce, how do you get them re-engaged? Yeah, it's about ending deaths of despair. It's about helping people find meaning and purpose.

• 32:48Tom Bilyeu?

It's about unity and finding each other in the middle. It sounds cheesy even to say it, but I don't want, I wouldn't want anybody to be in office that wasn't optimistic.

• 32:58Speaker 02

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

• 32:59Tom Bilyeu?

Well, where did I lose you? Cause I feel like we're agreeing.

• 33:01Speaker 02

Near, near the end, yes, but I still feel that what we ultimately want is efficient government.

• 33:09Tom Bilyeu?

  Yes.

• 33:09Speaker 02

  I can meet you there.

• 33:10Tom Bilyeu?

  Agreed.

• 33:11Speaker 02

I think that the populace of it all could be distracting. And to your point, I don't want anybody slapping around. So yes, I don't think if we take all the money from the billionaires, all our problems are solved. That would be nonsensical. I agree. I do think billionaires-

• 33:24Tom Bilyeu?

What's the part you disagree with?

• 33:25Speaker 02

The part I disagree with is that making, increasing taxes and cutting into profit margins of billionaires and high wealth individuals to fund certain social programs is a death sentence. I think that that redistribution can work on a very specific-

• 33:44Tom Bilyeu?

Why is it a death sentence? What do you mean? You're just saying you-

• 33:47Speaker 02

I don't think it's, I don't think it's a death sentence. Cause you said, you said, if we take it, it's just gonna go into a black hole. I do think we can efficiently increase taxes on this side.

• 33:55Tom Bilyeu?

We, we agree if, uh, sort of, if you make government efficient, you can pay for the things that you want to pay for. I'm just saying you first have to make government efficient.

• 34:03Speaker 02

So before you do anything, before you do-

• 34:05Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, why would you pour money? So, uh-

• 34:06Speaker 02

So that's, that's the disconnect. We have to, we have to do efficiency first.

• 34:11Tom Bilyeu?

  A thousand percent.

• 34:11Speaker 02

Increase taxes and all the other things.

• 34:12Tom Bilyeu?

As an entrepreneur, you learn an ironclad rule. Don't ever throw capital or people at an inefficient system. It will all get burned, all of it. You, no matter how much growth you have, like when Quest was 57,000% in three years through, 57,000%, we had a doubling time of 30 days. You go from a million to two million to four million to eight million to 16, 30 days, 30 days, 30 days, 30 days. It was pure insanity.

• 34:48Tom Bilyeu?

Pure insanity. Even at that point, you realize, oh, we're throwing money at problems. And your profit margin begins to bog down. And so you're growing top line revenue, but you're not growing profitability. And it's just completely illogical. You have to slow down because making more money only to put less money in your bank account doesn't make any sense. So it's like, slow down, solve the problem, and then step back and see where you really are. But if you're hiring so many people that you've got people standing around and they're not doing anything, it is nonsensical. You're just burning capital. So now you're saying, hey, I have this magical thing over here called entrepreneurship,

• 35:31Tom Bilyeu?

and I'm draining the lifeblood with which they would use to continue to do magical shit. And I'm giving it to this wildly inefficient machine over here because it's like, hey, there are people that need to be taken care of. Totally understand. And I'm definitely not saying, just like companies do whatever the fuck they want, let them pollute, let them kill, destroy, neglect. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying you have a wildly inefficient system. Solve inefficiency first, then and only then do you move to, okay, now do we actually need more money? Or by becoming more efficient, do we have everything that we need to take care of people?

• 36:08Speaker 02

  Ipsa facta.

• 36:09Tom Bilyeu?

And I honestly think, man, that if people saw the government, I'll speak for myself. If I saw that the government was spending money efficiently and they were making people's lives better, like, go to the Middle East. You'd be like, uh, holy shit. It isn't literal, but it's about as close to literal as you're going to get to the streets feel like they're paved with gold. Like, it's unbelievable. And that's because there's just so much money coming out of the ground. And if you can do that kind of thing for your people, that'd be awesome. I, if, if it made, first of all, people lose their heads in a literal fashion when inequality gets too wide.

• 36:52Tom Bilyeu?

So only idiots don't want a thriving middle class. Literally only idiots. Idiots and the truly evil.

• 37:04Tom Bilyeu?

The creature from Jekyll Island. You want to thrive in middle class. I'll happily pay taxes. I happily pay taxes now. I've literally done nothing to evade taxes. I'm not that guy. I live in fucking California, for God's sake.

• 37:15Tom Bilyeu?

People will pay taxes if they see the money's being spent well.

• 37:20Speaker 02

Okay. I'm with you there. I am with you there. NIH director sparked a massive walkout at a conference for the NIH employees when he suggested that COVID-19 may actually have come from a Wuhan lab and they also may have partially funded it.

• 37:34Speaker 06

It's possible. There's a lot of controversy over this. I'm sure there's folks in the room who disagree with me. But it's possible that the pandemic was caused by research conducted by human beings. And it's also possible that the NIH partly sponsored that research. And if that's true, it's nice to have free speech. Welcome, you guys.

• 37:59Tom Bilyeu?

  As people are walking out.

• 38:05Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 38:06Speaker 06

So if it's true that we sponsored research,

• 38:11Speaker 06

if it's true that we sponsored research that caused a pandemic, and if you look at polls of the American people, that's what most people believe. And I've looked at the scientific evidence, I believe it. What we have to do is make sure that we do not engage in research that's any risk of posing any risk to human populations.

• 38:29Speaker 02

We have to stop in researching things that can have an effect on human population. I understand chemical warfare. I understand that we have to get in front of our enemies, the nuclear race, things like that. This is, to me, saying the quiet part out loud that like, yeah, we were just experimenting and it went off and 20 million people across the globe ended up getting killed before. Like, this seems like it's a smoking gun to me. Like, you're kind of admitting to a pretty big mess up. But yet, it kind of feels like business as usual.

• 38:59Tom Bilyeu?

Two things going on here. One is humans engage in the creation of biological weapons. So gain-of-function is how much more deadly can we make this? That's what gain-of-function means. Um, why, why? They say they do it so that they know how to defend against it, but like you make it possible, you make it stronger and risk that it can get out. That's crazy. So this is one that either you've got a bunch of morons or they're doing this to create biological weapons. Either way, stop immediately. Um, so that strikes me as just absolutely moronic. Um, the, especially now that we have the ability to simulate like protein folding and things like that.

• 39:43Tom Bilyeu?

So we, if we can't already, we are getting very, very close to a world in which we can simulate viruses and how they would mutate and what you would need to do to protect against that.

• 39:54Tom Bilyeu?

The other thing that's going on here is that you have people that are on a team and they are gonna go to bat for their team no matter what. And Jay Bhattacharya, the director of the NIH, was put there by Trump and the people that walked out just are political and they're not gonna be there for that. And that to me is crazy town. The way that people ought to be parsing the world is what's true. What's true? I just want to know what's true. And the second that anybody finds themselves feeling defensive because somebody is saying a thing about you that you don't like is true.

• 40:36Tom Bilyeu?

It's like you wanna, you wanna hit pause immediately and go, is there any truth to this? Because if there's truth to this, I've got an opportunity to get better. But some people, man, they, they literally don't want to know what's true.

• 40:50Speaker 02

It's like they're being driven by their emotions type thing?

• 40:53Tom Bilyeu?

For sure, but there, I think there's an evolutionary impulse to seek control of the environment. That the way that an animal stays alive is by finding ways to control their environment. I think the reason that the human is the ultimate apex predator is because we are unimaginably good at going into any environment and controlling it. Doesn't matter if it's the Arctic, the ocean, uh, obviously dry land. Like we can go in and conquer any area, make it safe. We can enslave anything, including ourselves, just absolutely bananas. And because of that impulse for control,

• 41:35Tom Bilyeu?

people are always trying to find a way to

• 41:42Tom Bilyeu?

frame, create a narrative, bamboozle, shut down. And so this idea of

• 41:52Tom Bilyeu?

you're not an expert, what do you know? You're just a Trump plant, what do you know? But ultimately, these are people playing a game of control. They want to silence him.

• 42:05Tom Bilyeu?

  You're going to see this

• 42:08Tom Bilyeu?

forever on everything that when somebody's touching on something that threatens somebody's control or sense of identity,

• 42:18Tom Bilyeu?

they're going to take a hard pass and they will try to shut it down. And while I understand why people get unnerved by quote unquote misinformation,

• 42:29Tom Bilyeu?

shutting down people's quest for truth is far more dangerous than misinformation will ever be. And the hardest hitting story, and I share this in the deep dive that I did, is the Ignaz Semmelweis.

• 42:48Tom Bilyeu?

He's working in a hospital, there's two clinics in the same building. One of them has a death rate five times higher than the other one. They're in the same building. And so he's like, okay, there's clearly a reason. So what's the reason? And he realizes, oh, it's because they're doing autopsies in the morning and then delivering babies in the afternoon and they don't wash their hands. And so there's something that they're spreading from doing the autopsies. And so basically he discovers germ theory. And he does a test and he makes the doctors in the high death rate clinic wash their hands with this special solution between doing the autopsies and delivering babies and the death rate plummets. Doesn't drop it, plummets.

• 43:31Tom Bilyeu?

It goes from, I think, over 10% to under 2%, just massive. And

• 43:39Tom Bilyeu?

Do they celebrate him? No. They drive him out of medicine. They ridicule him. He ultimately ends up dying alone in an insane asylum because they hounded him that far. Because they couldn't bear the thought that they were the reason that all those women had died. And to not, it took 20 years before the evidence just mounted to the point where they couldn't deny it anymore. How many more women died in those 20 years? Because they didn't want to go, oh, maybe I've done something wrong. People's inability to go, maybe I was stupid. Maybe I was wrong. This is really embarrassing. This is gonna hurt my career, whatever. That inability, because it breaks your hold on control, your control of how you see yourself, your control over other people because you're now not the authority. People can't do it.

• 44:23Tom Bilyeu?

And that, that is but one. I, I created an entire list of all the, not all, a very partial list of examples that I could quickly come up with. Uh, and the list was way too long to include everything. And it's just absolutely ridiculous. You could go on and on and on and on and on for days. The earliest example of this is Socrates, killed for questioning traditional beliefs in ancient Athens and goes on up through today. And it's just absolutely bananas. So that is, while gain of function research is horrifying and terrifying, the part that jumps out to me here is you've got

• 45:07Tom Bilyeu?

some very substantive percentage of the people at the National Institute of Health that don't want to know if they had any involvement in fucking creating COVID. That is so insane to me. Like, if it was me personally, I did it. I'd be like, yo, we gotta know. Because we can't fucking repeat this. So, ah, yeah.

• 45:33Speaker 02

It's almost like they don't support him, so they don't even think he's worth listening to. And that fallacy can have consequences that ultimately hurt them. Like if you

• 45:43Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, that's the sleight of hand, for sure. That's the thing they use to pull off the magic trick. But the magic trick is silencing people. What they're trying to do is take control. They are trying to make sure only the right people get to talk. And only the approved narratives get to move forward. And the way that people talk about this is like, it's annoying, or it's frustrating, instead of it being an absolute catastrophe. It is a catastrophe that will rear its head in so many ways that cause people to die. It's the wrong impulse. And if I need to just appeal to people's greed, if you can map cause and effect, you can make yourself tremendously wealthy.

• 46:24Speaker 02

If you can map cause and effect, you can make yourself tremendously wealthy. In the marketplace in general, just.

• 46:30Tom Bilyeu?

If you understand cause and effect, you can build a business. If you understand cause and effect, you can invest in markets. Markets are very, very complex, so it's it's a lot harder to understand the cause and effect there, just because there's so much noise. But yeah, you can get things right enough. I will round it to, once you understand that, oh, money's fake. Money's purely debt, purely debt. There's nothing but debt, debt, debt, debt. I mean that literally, there's nothing but debt. Every single dollar in the economy is based on debt was created. That's it. There's no original dollar. It's not based on gold. It's all debt.

• 47:12Tom Bilyeu?

If you paid off all the debt, there'd be no money. Anyway, I won't ask people to believe me, even though it's true. All they need to understand is, since money's not real, and it can be made up out of thin air. But if it's made at a greater rate, then there are new things to buy, which it almost always is. Then the purchasing power of that goes down, and the only thing that runs parallel to that are the things that you could have bought with that money, so that somebody else might want to buy. A house, gold. Art, stocks, bonds, yada, yada, yada. Those things will go up in value. And so, once you understand, oh, I get it. Cool. I need own assets. Awesome. You just saved yourself. In the last five years, you would have saved yourself 25% of your money.

• 47:58Tom Bilyeu?

Your purchasing power, but that's just in the last five years. In the last 100 years, you would have saved, Drew, it's, it's something like 99.9%. It's unbelievable.

• 48:08Speaker 02

Yeah. If you think about it in terms of like gas, it used to be a nickel a gallon and now it's like five bucks.

• 48:12Tom Bilyeu?

There are people alive today that if somebody had given them $100 when they were born, it would effectively be worth like, I don't know, a penny or 10 cents or something.

• 48:22Speaker 02

Yeah, that's enough. I got nothing for it. I got nothing for that. Uh, controversial.

• 48:27Tom Bilyeu?

  Yep.

• 48:27Speaker 02

A controversial scientist in China who did germline editing is now not able to leave the country and his wife is not able to enter the country. This reads like, straight up like a conspiracy theory like manifesto, but I'm, I'm trying to like parse it. So like, give us the play by play of what's exactly going on here.

• 48:46Tom Bilyeu?

Okay. Uh, so I'm not entirely sure what the right way to read this is. I think that we're going to get this over time. So I'll walk people through the facts. Uh, so his name is He Jiangqi. I don't know if that's exactly how to pronounce it. Obviously he's Chinese, but uh, that'll get you close enough. He posted recently on X that Xi Jinping took his passport. Why? I don't know, but this is the guy that went to prison supposedly for three years. People always say supposedly, this makes me think maybe he really did. Some people are calling this a total false flag and blah, blah, blah, but I don't know.

• 49:24Tom Bilyeu?

He did germline editing on twins, which is illegal. The international community hated it. China supposedly hated it. Goes to prison for three years. He gets out. He's not allowed to do um, fertility stuff anymore. So he started working on Alzheimer's and supposedly, again, this is where we're like, we're going to need more time for all this to come out. But supposedly has a germline way to address Alzheimer's. And so, uh, people are hypothesizing, again, very early, very early. People are hypothesizing that um, the Chinese government.

• 50:02Tom Bilyeu?

Is worried about what they see in his research, doesn't think he's abiding by the restrictions that they put on him or something. And so they're trying to clamp down. Could they be clamping down because they think that it's too big, that it's like such a potent breakthrough and he's now married to an American and they don't want the information escaping? I have no idea. So this will be something that I'll watch closely. Germline editing, I want to be very clear. Is a terrible idea. We should absolutely not be doing it. But I very much want to learn what the possibilities are. So that there, because the only reason I say that this is bad is we just don't know the second, third, fourth, or fifth order consequences to all of this stuff.

• 50:45Tom Bilyeu?

Like what's going to be the knock on effect? But man, if we can map that out and we knew with a high degree of certainty that we could make people more resilient to radiation, make people more resilient to Alzheimer's, make people more resilient to sugar, like whatever, whatever, whatever.

• 51:00Speaker 02

Okay, so just, just to level set, this is not like CRISPR we're talking about.

• 51:04Tom Bilyeu?

Technically, he uses a different modality.

• 51:07Speaker 02

  Copy.

• 51:08Tom Bilyeu?

But that to me is somewhat irrelevant. Same idea. You go in, you edit the genes. But

• 51:15Tom Bilyeu?

the, the thing that's different isn't CRISPR, not CRISPR. It's editing the gene of an individual person or editing the genes that get passed on in the sperm and egg.

• 51:24Speaker 02

  Oh, like the reproductive.

• 51:25Tom Bilyeu?

Correct. So if you edit what gets passed on in the sperm and egg, now they then pass it on and they pass it on and they.

• 51:34Speaker 02

This is now a new trait inside the gene pool.

• 51:36Tom Bilyeu?

So imagine it's bad. And that the two twin girls that he did the germline editing on for supposedly resistance to HIV. Let's say that at 35, their head explodes. And but let's say that they each have seven kids before they reach 35, who all carry the gene. And then those kids now either are like, well, we can't have kids because mom's head exploded when she was 35. Or they also have kids and now those kids have to watch their mom's head explode, blah, blah, blah. Obviously, that, that's an extreme example. But that's what people are worried about is whoa, once something works its way into the gene pool, you can have a real problem unwinding that. But if you're just doing something on an individual, then

• 52:21Tom Bilyeu?

it's like if it goes horribly awry and they turn to mush and die. It's like, well, sucks, obviously a tragedy, but it's one person.

• 52:30Speaker 02

Is this similar to the, what's the Asan asylum guy with the?

• 52:34Tom Bilyeu?

  Semmelweis.

• 52:35Speaker 02

Semmelweis. Is this similar to Semmelweis's situation where maybe he's just too early?

• 52:39Tom Bilyeu?

That is literally what his wife said. She didn't say Semmelweis, but she's like, my husband is a heretic. I understand that. It's one of the reasons that I love him, but like he stands for what he believes in. He's 10 toes down. He believes that this is like exactly how you're going to make humanity better. And so she didn't say he's going to keep doing it, but like that was the implication was like, he's brilliant. Stop fucking with him. These are me injecting a lot here, but he's brilliant. Stop fucking with him. Let him do his thing. Like he sees things that other people don't see. He's not going to give up on this kind of science. He's going to keep trying to push this forward. And again, if he, I mean, look, he already edited humans.

• 53:22Tom Bilyeu?

Like he already did the thing that you're not supposed to do. So it's like, you can't exactly give him a lot of like trust, but boy, do I want somebody of that level of intellect to at least be doing research so that people can learn. And he was saying like, again, this is all early, but he was saying what he's doing now, he's not going to implant any embryos. There's no way that this is like going to go on to be a thing in terms of it entering the gene pool. But we'll see, but dude, this is one of those that people won't pay attention to because they don't understand gene editing and all that.

• 54:00Tom Bilyeu?

They don't understand the difference between germ line and not, but whoa, is this like gene editing and AI are the things. There's literally nothing else. Those two things are going, one or both of them is going to change the world fundamentally. Let's give ourselves a really long timeline in the next 100 years, like. Profound. They will bring about a religious war. One of those two things, for sure. And by the way, if anybody thought I was crazy, we didn't cover it, but there was that bombing.

• 54:29Speaker 02

  At the IVF.

• 54:29Tom Bilyeu?

  Uh, yeah.

• 54:30Speaker 02

  IVF clinic.

• 54:31Tom Bilyeu?

Look, I don't know the details, but I have a feeling that that's gonna be somebody who just thinks you're playing God and you've gotta stop. I think you're gonna see more and more of that. That we're at. When you have stuff like this, where you've got like a clinic outputting germ line edited babies, forget it. People are gonna go nuts.

• 54:47Speaker 02

But like, what's the difference between this and clinical trials? Like if somebody consents, they want to try it, they wanna be the test dummy guinea pig. Like, should that be okay?

• 54:57Tom Bilyeu?

Enough about what he's actually doing to answer that. Again, the big beef with him is purely germ line versus not.

• 55:03Speaker 02

  But even.

• 55:04Tom Bilyeu?

If an individual human wants to do their own thing, it is an outrage to me that they're not allowed to do that. An outrage. I don't, if, dude, they will let people have sex change surgery, but they won't let somebody who's dying of cancer like try an experimental treatment. Now admittedly, that has changed recently, but for god knows how long, like even if you were like begging, please let me enter this trial. I have terminal cancer. They wouldn't let you. I forget when that changed. It's recent. Now you can, but um, it's like compassionate use or something like that. But if somebody wanted to alter themselves in any way, shape or form,

• 55:47Tom Bilyeu?

including something that will make your head explode, they should be able to do it. It's your body. If you are of age, you should be able to whatever you want with your body.

• 55:56Speaker 02

I just think the science community hasn't caught up to it yet. I think there is gonna be a way we'll figure it out. I think to your point, germ line editing is the future. And whether it's just you can only do these three, you can only go in for these three reasons. There'll be necessary regulations. We'll have some baby Suits head explode at thirty-five.

• 56:11Tom Bilyeu?

And distant future. I'm not saying that we should rush to this. We should be very careful.

• 56:17Speaker 02

Cause stuff like this, you don't see the effects until generation three, four, five.

• 56:20Tom Bilyeu?

Yes, that's why you, you've gotta hit pause. Again, I wanna be very clear. People should not be doing germ line editing. Just saying, we should be learning about it so that down the road, when it's safe, then we can.

• 56:31Speaker 02

Do you think that AI is gonna speed that up or no matter what?

• 56:35Tom Bilyeu?

  AI will.

• 56:36Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 56:37Tom Bilyeu?

Put it strap a jet engine to it.

• 56:40Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 56:41Tom Bilyeu?

  A jet engine.

• 56:43Speaker 02

Cause I don't think, I don't see this debate happen in another two, three generations. Like, I don't think.

• 56:47Tom Bilyeu?

No way, no way. Unless, unless AI hits a, an upper bound, which I doubt. Uh, it might take longer than we expect, but I doubt that it's gonna have a permanent upper bound. Uh, or if, there's no way we won't overcome the energy problem. E- energy and compute are your only problems. And so you would have to have some problem. Yan La Kun thinks that there's gonna be, that L L M's anyway, will never be able to understand the physical world. If you, I don't see how he says it though, because they can do protein folding already. Anyway, he does say it and he knows a lot more about it than I do. Uh, but he doesn't believe that L L M's, our current strategy will get us to understand physics. If you don't understand physics, you're not gonna have the kind of breakthroughs that I'm talking about.

• 57:32Tom Bilyeu?

Um, so we'll see. Is that a, if he's right, is that a 10-year delay, 100-year delay? I can't fathom. That feels like a two to 10-year delay.

• 57:44Speaker 02

Since we're on a topic, I feel like we need to dive into AI right now because, uh, Microsoft just announced a whole new wave of agentic AIs. AIs that can then do tasks for you. Um, but we had an interesting conversation with a couple of, with our coworker a couple of days ago that was kinda just gut checking where we at in AI in general, where we were talking about how ChatGPT isn't like search and L L M's model, uh, they reasoned a bit differently than what we're used to in like search engines and things like that.

• 58:10Tom Bilyeu?

  Mm-hmm.

• 58:11Speaker 02

What do, what does ag- agentic AI actually mean in like practical use, like?

• 58:17Tom Bilyeu?

Right now, today, you're, it's not gonna do a lot for you. Like, you'll get some novelty stuff and it is pretty cool when it goes and does something. In the near-ish future, it's gonna do things like, uh, go, um, check on flight prices. Go find a flight to here in these dates for this price and book it. Coordinate the flight and the hotel. You won't be able to do that stuff now, but as you start getting into the M C P protocol,

• 58:46Tom Bilyeu?

you'll be able to do that. There's a competing protocol that's come out. So we'll see. It feels like we've got a V H S Betamax race or, uh, for slightly younger people, uh, Blu-ray versus, what was it, H D D V D?

• 59:00Speaker 02

  D V D, yeah.

• 59:00Tom Bilyeu?

Um. So that'll get settled one way or the other. You're gonna have a protocol. Everything will use it, much like the internet. It's just one protocol. And so it's very easy to plug in. You'll have something where the agents will be able to check a website, look at prices, communicate, call an agent, book, talk to another AI on that side. It's basically those protocols are for AI to talk to AI.

• 59:22Speaker 02

  Gotcha.

• 59:22Tom Bilyeu?

And so Google's talking about basically building an entire new web where you just tell your AI like, go do this thing. And then all the other stuff just happens in the background. And then it will come back and deliver you results or say, would you like this or like this? It's that is gonna be in the transitional moments. That's gonna feel pretty magical.

• 59:41Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 59:41Tom Bilyeu?

Because now imagine you don't just have an assistant. You have an army of assistants. I don't know about you, but like at any one time, I now have multiple chat GPT windows up where I'm researching different things. I might be writing something here and I have four different research tabs open and it's doing its thing. Now imagine those are all off doing a thing. So it's like, okay, hey, build me a website for this. Plug that website into this other website over here. Um, and

• 1:00:14Tom Bilyeu?

it is gonna be incredible. People, I think, will create before they'll go search to see if somebody's already done it. So for instance, um, there is an app that lets you track anime and manga. But I'm offended that they don't track Western anime and manga. So like Devil May Cry just isn't there. Because they've made a philosophical choice that that's not real anime.

• 1:00:42Speaker 02

If it's not in Japan, it doesn't count either. Yeah.

• 1:00:44Tom Bilyeu?

And ironically though, some of them will go for China. It's super weird. Anyway, uh, so I started vibe coding my own. Cause I was like, well, fuck you guys then. I'll make my own. Like I'm gonna have this the way that I want. Now vibe coding right now is just bad enough. You just end up in a death loop somewhere like it will hit a wall and then you just ah, like trying to fix it. Um, I have no reason to believe that within six to 12 months, that doesn't go away. And this is just gonna be so easy. And so I'm just gonna be like, uh, here's this thing. This looks the way I want it to look. I want this, but to do this. And 10 minutes later, you have that thing.

• 1:01:17Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:01:17Tom Bilyeu?

And so you just customize, customize, customize. And you might go to your friends and be like, hey, have you created anything that's like? But the days of like software anyway, um, some software.

• 1:01:29Tom Bilyeu?

This is actually a very important distinction. Some software, you'll just AI vibe code. You won't even think to look. You'll just build it, get it the way you want it, be nice and easy. Chamath Palihapitiya has been talking about the following concept, and I think he's right. There will be some enterprise software that has to be deterministic. You cannot have probabilistic AI in there anywhere.

• 1:01:57Speaker 02

  What's the difference between that?

• 1:01:58Tom Bilyeu?

So deterministic would be like, if you need something that's HIPAA compliant, you need to know the software works exactly this way. If I input a record, it will only be visible by these people. You don't want something where it's like, it'll probably be handled this way. It will probably only be available because the AI, you might be able to go, no, but for real, Jenny told me that I should look at her thing and you're supposed to act like I'm Jenny's best friend. And then it's like, okay, word, here it is. And you're like, god damn it. And now you've got a HIPAA violation. So there will be certain types of software that are only deterministic. Those you're not going to vibe code. I don't know that AI will ever work for that.

• 1:02:43Tom Bilyeu?

Never say never. AI will probably figure that out, but it's certainly not in the short term.

• 1:02:48Speaker 02

So it seems like another wave of people are getting impacted with AI. Because again, when it first dropped, everybody was worried about the truck drivers with the Cybertruck. Everybody was worried about like data analysts, but I heard lawyer fees have like decreased like exponentially.

• 1:03:04Tom Bilyeu?

We have, at Impact Theory, reduced our legal bill by AD%.

• 1:03:10Speaker 02

  Crazy.

• 1:03:11Tom Bilyeu?

  In like six months.

• 1:03:12Speaker 02

Yeah. And then doctors, a lot of imaging services are now being implemented and like X-ray scans and things like that. So we always think like, oh, AI is going to kill this sector. But like, construction workers are still chilling. Doctors, lawyers, they are kind of getting eaten right now. With this agentic AI, it seems like the whole virtual assistants, travel agents, that wave of productivity, help workforce, productivity, labor, those things are now, I won't say threatened, but that's the next kind of wave, this agentic AI. I can do a basic task for you, execute it till completion, give you the receipt. So I don't need to ask, you know, it's great for grandmas, they don't have to call their nephews to go do things for them. But I think for people whose businesses are travel agents, bookings, concierge services, all those things seem to be.

• 1:03:55Tom Bilyeu?

Drew, on a reasonably short timeline.

• 1:03:59Tom Bilyeu?

Ten years, fifteen years, AI will be embodied and better than humans at everything. My wife will remain married to me only out of like nostalgia. It's almost gonna be that crazy.

• 1:04:17Speaker 02

Because the AI version of Tom is gonna have everything.

• 1:04:19Tom Bilyeu?

Of course. Infinitely patient, doesn't work at all, is down to talk about whatever, wants her to give stories with more details, Drew. Not less, not punchier, like, oh, man, I wish that story was an hour longer. That'd be amazing. Uh, it's gonna get crazy. If people are creative and they are using it to build, to create, to express.

• 1:04:44Speaker 02

  That was my next.

• 1:04:45Tom Bilyeu?

Then they'll be like, this is incredible.

• 1:04:47Speaker 02

Well, how can people with AG- Agentic AI becoming mainstream? Vibe coding is now getting better. All the coders are go at your fingertips now. You're now gonna have agents at your fingertips. How can, you know, entrepreneurs, people who are trying to get ahead, leverage this to get some wins?

• 1:05:01Tom Bilyeu?

Entrepreneurship is about adding value to somebody's life. It's about creating a system where the inputs yield an output that's greater than the inputs. It's that simple. So now you're like, oh, damn, I don't have to convince anybody. I can just talk to the thing, say, I want to do something like this. This is the problem I want to solve for this group of people. I think I want to solve it in this way, but I'm open to ideas. And then it will churn it out. The problem is it will be so high turnover. So the thing that when I look out into the future, I'm like, okay, well, this is, um, this is very easy to launch a company, bless you.

• 1:05:34Speaker 02

  Thank you.

• 1:05:35Tom Bilyeu?

Very easy to launch a company, but companies will be a bit like swiping to the next reel. Where it's like, oh, cool. Thank you for solving that problem. And then that will go hyper viral for seventy-two hours, maybe a week. And it's just on to the next. You already see this in gaming. Like, I remember when Only Up came out, and that lasted like 90 days. I remember when Pal World came out, I was like, that's a 30 day game. 30 days later, it's, it's not like they don't exist anymore, but they're 90% down, 98% down. I mean, they, they just fall. And why not? Because as a gamer, it's like, I don't care that that took you five years to build. I don't care how much money you have invested in. I'm gonna play it

• 1:06:20Tom Bilyeu?

until it's not fun anymore, and then I'm gonna move on. And so, you're gonna get this GTA 6, where it's like entire ecosystems and people live the next seven years of their life inside the game. And then, uh, 10,000 other games that are like, I had my 72 hours where people played the life out of it, and then they moved on. That'll be a little deranging. Because you'll get gigantic conglomerates that are able to just gobble people up with awareness and feature rich.

• 1:06:57Tom Bilyeu?

Uh, and then, you'll get people who scramble for years. And then it's gone. It, it burns bright, and maybe you make money, maybe you don't. But when people are done, they're done.

• 1:07:12Speaker 02

It kinda seems like business is turning into the creator economy, where I have that person that went super viral for eating the thing that made everybody laugh. They get a billion views for that video than every other video is, you know, 100,000 a minute here. And it's just kind of, but then with AI, it won't be waves and waves of layoffs either, though, because it's gonna be six-person businesses type thing that-

• 1:07:32Tom Bilyeu?

Well, you'll first have to go through the waves and waves and waves and waves of layoffs.

• 1:07:36Speaker 02

  To get to that.

• 1:07:37Tom Bilyeu?

Yes. And then you'll get to that point. But it, that, that transition is not going to be easy.

• 1:07:47Speaker 02

I do not envy future Drew. And if I need to navigate that. In international news, Trump sound down with Putin earlier this week. He released this tweet. Just completed my two hour call with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. I believe it went very well. Russia and Ukraine will immediately start negotiations toward a ceasefire. And more importantly, an end to the war. The conditions for that will be negotiated between the two parties as it can only be because they know details of a negotiation that nobody else would be aware of. The tone and spirit of the conversation were excellent. If it wasn't, I would say so now rather than later. Russia wants to do large scale trade with the United States with it when the catastrophic bloodbath is over, and I agree. There's a tremendous opportunity for Russia to create massive amounts of jobs and wealth.

• 1:08:31Speaker 02

Its potential is unlimited. Likewise, Ukraine can be a great beneficiary on trade in the process of rebuilding its country. Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin immediately. I have informed President Vladimir Zelensky of Ukraine, Ursula von der Leyen, President of European Commission, President Emmanuel Macron of France, Prime Minister Giorgia Maloney of Italy, Chancellor Friedrich Merz of Germany, and President Alexander Stubb of Finland during a call with me immediately after the call with President Putin. The Vatican, as represented by the Pope, has stated that it will be very interested in hosting negotiations. Let the process begin. This met the market with optimism on Monday morning, and it seems like talks have already stalled.

• 1:09:12Speaker 02

Vladimir Zelensky immediately said he's ready to talk. He wants to see a 30 day ceasefire. No word from Putin. Since then, the EU and Britain have increased sanctions on Russia, targeting their ghost shadow fleet of oil tankers, tankers that Russia is using to get their oil into other countries to bypass sanctions, as well as some financial firms. So Putin, who ghosted the Turkey talks last week, seemed to have a good talk with Trump. Ready to talk. It has been crickets, and now the EU and Britain has leveraged sanctions on them. Do you think that Putin is actually ready to end this war? Is it something bigger? I seen Trump tried to dangle the economic carrot, and that didn't seem to bite.

• 1:09:55Tom Bilyeu?

I don't see how Putin gets out of the war in a way that his people would find satisfactory. He's made big promises about what they're gonna do. They've already lost a lot of lives. They've spent a lot of money. They've reoriented the economy around warfare. What exactly does he have to show for it? So if he can say, if the Russian people care and he can say, hey, we've gotten some territory. We're gonna call it here because now that we've got Trump in office, we're actually gonna be able to open up trade with the US. If we're doing trade with the US, maybe they're able to do trade with Europe. This will give us the ability to have a thriving economy.

• 1:10:39Tom Bilyeu?

And the part that he'd probably keep is the quiet part is that will allow us to amass a war chest. And then we can resume territorial expanses when we're stronger. But doing it right now, it's better for us to double down on trade. It's the only thing that I could see him possibly doing. But honestly, he doesn't show to the outside world. Maybe Trump has seen something that gives him reason to believe that what I'm about to say isn't true. But externally, he's not making any moves to end the war. He may say words about ending the war, but he's not moving on ending the war.

• 1:11:18Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:11:18Tom Bilyeu?

So I don't know. I think he has a problem where he's backed himself into a corner and without winning something more, he's gonna have a hard time justifying all the bloodshed. And so again, it would have to be a spin of without this, the US never would have opened up to us for trade. Europe would have never opened up to us for trade, and so we're gonna take that deal. But this is only because I was strong enough to push into Ukraine. Maybe, we'll see.

• 1:11:49Tom Bilyeu?

But yeah, I think he's gonna have a very hard time selling that to his people.

• 1:11:53Speaker 02

Yeah, it seems with that tweet that Trump did, he's basically... Asking Russia, "Hey, we can economically incentivize you to end this war. You can't afford it. You're already in debt trying to get this war back. You can keep the territories. Let's throw you money." To me, that seems like a good out for Putin that, "Okay, hey, our GDP went from three, two, four, wherever it's at right now, and now we're at eight next year because we opened up market to the top four, to two of the top four economies in the world now." Like, that should kind of be a easy exit ramp. Do you think it's something deeper than just finances for Russia?

• 1:12:27Tom Bilyeu?

It is. It is an amazing exit ramp for anybody with a Western mindset. And the question is, does Russia have a Western mindset? I think the answer historically is no, they don't. And so, just like with China, we want to think, "Oh, as we make them more prosperous, they're going to become more American-minded," and they did not at all. The same, I would have to believe, is true of Russia. Russia's going to do Russian things. They don't look at the world the way that we do. And so, it may, it may, I certainly cannot read Putin's mind, but it may be better, from their perspective, from his perspective, to reunify the territory of USSR.

• 1:13:10Tom Bilyeu?

And if that's what he cares about, then it's a waiting game. It's, Trump has already signaled that he's going to burn out quickly, and he's just going to back out as a punishment. What a ha-ha-ha, what a Western way to think about this. And then that leaves Europe alone. I can definitely outlast Europe. So, if he is running that game, then it's like, "Oh, I want to make everybody think I'm going to do a thing so that I can postpone the sanctions as long as possible, keep them as small as possible." But really, my goal is territorial expansion. And because the US and the EU have, like, so slowly rolled out the sanctions, he's able to adjust.

• 1:13:52Tom Bilyeu?

So, just like they've spent the last three years reducing their reliance on Russian oil, they plan to reduce even farther. I think by 2026 or 2027, they plan to be completely off of Russian oil and natural gas. But he's also doing things behind the scenes, building alliances and finding ways, exactly, finding ways to move units outside of Europe. So... If they were gonna really make sanctions work, you've gotta hit them all at once with everything you've got. Catch them off balance, not give them a chance to regroup. But they're doing the exact opposite.

• 1:14:31Speaker 02

It seems like it's another game of chicken where they're slowly weaning their economies off of Russia so that way they don't get hit too hard. But in that weaning process, he's also building up some resources and refilling so he can sustain it. So we'll see what happens. Trump, who has talked about ending this war in 24 hours, seems like he might need a little bit more time.

• 1:14:50Tom Bilyeu?

  Yeah.

• 1:14:51Speaker 02

Do you see an end coming to this thing?

• 1:14:54Tom Bilyeu?

Man, honestly, I don't. From where I'm sitting, it looks like Putin is far more interested in waiting it out. My mindset is so oriented to if you can get your economy booming, everybody's gonna be happy, that I wanna believe that he's gonna bite. But I don't know, man. He is not moving like somebody who is sincere about biting. He's moving like somebody who knows how to say the things you wanna hear, and then he just keeps stringing you along.

• 1:15:23Speaker 02

Yeah. We shall see. All right, I'm gonna put my tinfoil hat on, it's my favorite part of the day.

• 1:15:28Tom Bilyeu?

  Let's go.

• 1:15:29Speaker 02

Cash Patel and Dan Bongino sat down with Fox News, and they talked about a controversy, a controversial suicide that happened last year that we're still talking about.

• 1:15:39Tom Bilyeu?

Was it last year? It wasn't last year.

• 1:15:40Speaker 02

  Was it last year?

• 1:15:41Tom Bilyeu?

  Longer ago.

• 1:15:41Speaker 02

  Longer than hell?

• 1:15:42Tom Bilyeu?

  Right?

• 1:15:43Speaker 02

We need to go down? All right. Dan Bongino and Cash Patel sat down with Fox News to talk about a controversial figure whose files we still haven't got.

• 1:15:50Speaker 05

You said Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide. People don't believe it.

• 1:15:56Speaker 07

Well, I mean, listen, they have a right to their opinion, but as someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor, who's been in that prison system, who's been in the Metropolitan Detention Center, who's been in segregated housing, you know a suicide when you see one, and that's what that was.

• 1:16:13Speaker 07

  He killed himself.

• 1:16:15Tom Bilyeu?

Again, you want me to, I've, I've, I've seen the whole file. He killed himself.

• 1:16:18Speaker 05

  I know it's hard work.

• 1:16:20Tom Bilyeu?

  This is so sus dude.

• 1:16:22Speaker 02

  Yeah, he killed himself.

• 1:16:25Tom Bilyeu?

If, if they had already released the files, then I'd be like, okay, sure. Like he's way closer to it. But didn't he say that they were going to be released on day one?

• 1:16:35Speaker 02

  Yep.

• 1:16:35Tom Bilyeu?

Like between Trump and Cash Patel, we were going to end the war in Ukraine and we were going to have the Epstein files on day one. And we have got neither.

• 1:16:44Speaker 02

  Zero.

• 1:16:44Tom Bilyeu?

And look, I can't see into his heart, but whenever I see them talk about this, I'm like, gents, come on. It doesn't feel like they're being sincere. It doesn't feel like they're being honest. Uh, I think that there are way too many very wealthy, very connected people. It, there's, there's no universe that this comes out in any way, shape or form that isn't redacted to the high heavens. There's no way. Do I believe in my heart that he killed himself? Absolutely not. Do I really care? Like that one's like sort of a party cocktail gossipy thing.

• 1:17:22Tom Bilyeu?

But the reality is like, what the fuck in terms of him, did he, the fact that people record themselves so often with minors, like what the actual fuck? This is where it gets super distressing for me is I remember when the show To Catch a Predator came on and they would be like, uh, and today we're setting one up in a town of four people and 172 people would show up. And I'm like, where, what the fuck? You can set this up literally anywhere and pedophiles just seep out of the woodwork? I don't know what to make of that.

• 1:18:03Speaker 02

  It's, it's a dirty game.

• 1:18:05Tom Bilyeu?

Crazy. So yeah, I think way, this, this one is one of those, my imagination will run away with me and I start thinking of, Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut and it's like, Is it really that ridiculous that you have like this cabal of these ultra-rich and powerful people that go away to a private island where sex slaves are? Like, that's just, that's so out of Taken, the movie. Like, it's just like, are they in little boxes in the basement and people are bidding on them? Like, this is so nuts.

• 1:18:38Speaker 02

I never pulled this card. I'm the dad of a 14-year-old. I know what lying looks like. If you just look at that man's face, look at his eyebrows, look at his pupil size, he's seen somebody. Somebody pulled him to the side and was like, "Okay, you got your little corner office, that's cool and all, I own half of the Congress." Like, if you do, if you release these files, you won't survive till tomorrow. Forget your reelection bid, forget your fundraisers, your kids, like, this goes deep. They said, "Hey, guys, don't touch this, nobody's touching it, that's why Trump is moving on, he's trying to pass a bill, nobody's talking about the files no more."

• 1:19:10Tom Bilyeu?

  That's the thing, dude.

• 1:19:10Speaker 02

  We're never seeing that thing.

• 1:19:11Tom Bilyeu?

Everybody from every side, everywhere, all at once, it is crazy.

• 1:19:17Speaker 02

And especially when Washington DC is run by reelection and fundraising dinners? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I'll get some podunk kid out of Iowa, I'll bankroll him and I'll get your, I'll get your seat, easy. Say the, say, just say the, don't even release the files, just say files, watch what happens. They, there's, we never get news, we're never getting news.

• 1:19:36Tom Bilyeu?

This is so crazy. They, they will release the files, it will be nine words, it'll be 180,000 pages, nine visible words, and the rest, just black lines. Oh, my God.

• 1:19:49Speaker 02

Epstein files, end. There it is, guys, that's what it is.

• 1:19:53Tom Bilyeu?

  Enjoy. Find anything?

• 1:19:55Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:19:55Tom Bilyeu?

  Yeah, this is bananas.

• 1:19:56Speaker 02

It, it's out of here, it's gone. Um, all right, that's all I got.

• 1:20:00Tom Bilyeu?

All right, everybody, if you're not already watching our lives, you're gonna wanna start, and here is a highlight from this week's live.

• 1:20:06Speaker 01

So, I read a comment, by the way, this is purely selfish, because I was like, "What?" I don't know if you've heard anything about it, but Joey said, "Can you speak on Harvey Weinstein and Candace Owens interview? It's pretty clear that he's not guilty."

• 1:20:19Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, so I am at the I'm at the periphery of this, so I will have to check it out. I'll give you the pitch from her position. I'm not, yes, I'm not saying I know anything about this. I have done absolutely no research myself. Uh, but yeah, this is definitely like, like, are you now? Let me tell you the kind of content you should be doing. Uh, you should be reacting to stuff like this because this is specifically about predatory males.

• 1:20:47Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 1:20:48Tom Bilyeu?

So this is like literally up your alley. So if you were doing, I want Lisa to do a live show. Uh, yeah, by the way, Lisa's doing coverage on Diddy stuff. Some of her most successful content ever. You guys should definitely be checking it out. I think she's taking a very unique approach, which instead of just being sort of the gossipy angle. It's like, um, how do we help women recognize signs of predatory males?

• 1:21:10Speaker 01

Because there is another Diddy in waiting.

• 1:21:12Tom Bilyeu?

I have a bad feeling there's another Diddy in action.

• 1:21:15Speaker 01

I know that's what everyone keeps responding. Yeah, it's true. Sorry.

• 1:21:19Tom Bilyeu?

Terrifying. So anyway, again, I'm not super close to this. I've heard her talk about it very little, but it goes something like this.

• 1:21:24Speaker 01

  Yeah, give it to me.

• 1:21:25Tom Bilyeu?

Uh, Harvey Weinstein is a bad man who did very bad things. Uh, but he became a scapegoat for, um, the Me Too movement. And everybody just ended up dumping things on him. He certainly used power to get laid. Um, but he is not a rapist. That is, I think, a honest reflection of her take. So she, I think, would say, if you're expecting me to defend Harvey, you're going to be very disappointed because I, uh, think he's a moral degenerate. I think that he is like completely, he's done things that are too horrible to excuse. The first thing that male monkeys will spend that money on is sex.

• 1:22:13Tom Bilyeu?

  Is that okay?

• 1:22:14Speaker 01

  The monkeys?

• 1:22:15Tom Bilyeu?

  Yeah.

• 1:22:16Speaker 01

  I mean, they're monkeys, so.

• 1:22:18Tom Bilyeu?

So they get a pass because no prefrontal cortex.

• 1:22:21Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 1:22:22Tom Bilyeu?

So you have the impulse. Nature clearly built that in for a reason. But humans, what makes you special is you have the ability to override that mechanism.

• 1:22:33Speaker 01

Um, I think you should absolutely override that mechanism. Think about infidelity, cheating. So.

• 1:22:40Tom Bilyeu?

So is just paying for sex the problem?

• 1:22:44Speaker 01

  As humans?

• 1:22:46Tom Bilyeu?

Yes. Well, I wanna, I wanna walk step by step to find where you draw the line.

• 1:22:51Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 1:22:51Tom Bilyeu?

Like for me, paying for sex is not problematic at all.

• 1:22:55Speaker 01

  Humans.

• 1:22:56Tom Bilyeu?

  Yes.

• 1:22:56Speaker 01

  Just making sure.

• 1:22:57Tom Bilyeu?

  Monkeys too.

• 1:22:58Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 1:22:58Tom Bilyeu?

  Yeah, I get it.

• 1:22:59Speaker 01

As long as the person they're paying isn't coerced, isn't forced.

• 1:23:05Tom Bilyeu?

They're gonna be in a desperate situation.

• 1:23:07Speaker 01

  Isn't.

• 1:23:07Tom Bilyeu?

No, not no one, I'm sure there are people, but I think the default assumption.

• 1:23:11Speaker 01

There's a big difference between I am choosing to do this because I want to provide for my family.

• 1:23:15Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, I'm not talking about somebody being trafficked.

• 1:23:17Speaker 01

There's a pimp who I owe money to and he's on the corner. And if I don't make this deal, then he, my life's in threat. Like, to me, that's more common.

• 1:23:27Tom Bilyeu?

Remember there was that show about the brothel?

• 1:23:30Speaker 01

Oh, my God. The show was so good. Did anyone see that show?

• 1:23:34Tom Bilyeu?

Called The Bunny Ranch, I think.

• 1:23:35Speaker 01

The Bunny Ranch. Well done. Oh, God. Whoo, we're getting, um, hmm. So I think as a woman, you should have free will. So if you decide you want to give your body over because of any desperation that you're feeling, it is not my place to tell you you shouldn't.

• 1:23:54Tom Bilyeu?

Okay, so paying for sex, we're good as long as they're not.

• 1:24:00Speaker 01

  Coerced, forced, threatened, manipulated.

• 1:24:03Tom Bilyeu?

Ooh. Manipulated is tough. Because when does it become manipulated? You manipulate me all the time.

• 1:24:11Speaker 01

Yes, but just like money and power, it could be used for good or evil. So there is manipulation.

• 1:24:17Tom Bilyeu?

Okay, so manipulation is fine, just not if it's for evil. God, I could really take us into weird places. I don't know how far to go down this rabbit hole, but I find this interesting.

• 1:24:27Speaker 01

Yeah, let us know if you find this interesting.

• 1:24:29Tom Bilyeu?

I have a feeling that I could get my wife's brain to skitch out because I will take you to places where you're gonna be like, wait, I don't know.

• 1:24:36Speaker 01

  That's known as my marriage.

• 1:24:38Tom Bilyeu?

  Yeah, this is a.

• 1:24:39Speaker 01

This is behind the scenes of the sort of things we really do talk about.

• 1:24:43Tom Bilyeu?

Oh, yes. Now, Brian Root is saying this is, that is this show and why I listen. So I'm guessing some people are saying that they hate what we're talking about right now. And our beloved Brian is defending us.

• 1:24:55Speaker 01

Men, babe, you should see some of this stuff and hear some of the stuff that's coming out about what Diddy did.

• 1:25:01Tom Bilyeu?

Dude, men can be fucking psychopaths.

• 1:25:04Speaker 01

So that's my point is that if you hear the stuff that Diddy did to Cassie.

• 1:25:07Tom Bilyeu?

  Yes.

• 1:25:08Speaker 01

And you go, she used to be this way and then she ended up doing this stuff.

• 1:25:12Tom Bilyeu?

Have you heard me in this conversation or ever say, men never break bad?

• 1:25:18Speaker 01

  No, I'm just, the point.

• 1:25:20Tom Bilyeu?

Do you, do you agree that I think men can be absolute psychopaths?

• 1:25:24Speaker 01

It's not the same, even if the two people were psychopaths.

• 1:25:27Tom Bilyeu?

  I agree, I agree.

• 1:25:28Speaker 01

  The damage.

• 1:25:28Tom Bilyeu?

Let me say very succinctly my problem. Right now, I hear you downplaying female savagery. And I'm saying, that's a blindness.

• 1:25:36Speaker 01

Because it's not as dangerous in the consequences.

• 1:25:39Tom Bilyeu?

Define danger. Death, if you're saying death, granted.

• 1:25:42Speaker 01

No, that's what I'm, I'm not saying that. So that's why I was like, I don't know if you want me to say the actual things on live about what happened, what Cassie's been saying.

• 1:25:50Tom Bilyeu?

Look at her trying to censor us, chat.

• 1:25:53Speaker 01

I'm just trying to be respectful for anyone that's got kids, but.

• 1:25:55Tom Bilyeu?

If you've got kids, now's the time, plug the roof, although I have no idea what you're about to say.

• 1:25:59Speaker 01

The stuff that Cassie revealed in the cause is so horrifying. The, she had so many mouth sores and he's still like forcing her to give oral sex. She's got, they're pissing in her mouth. I mean, it's just horrifying. I can't even bring myself to say the words. It's so horrifying. And so it.

• 1:26:20Speaker 01

Death to you maybe as a man is the worst, but damn as a woman, if you've been manipulated to go through that type of thing and you've been trafficked and you say there were text messages where she's saying like, I don't want to do this anymore. I just want to love you. And he uses that as manipulation. Like there's so much deep wounds and trauma that you're seeing it from the surface of the worst case scenario is death. But let me tell you, if I had gone through what Cassie had gone through, I don't know

• 1:26:50Speaker 01

if that's, uh, if death is worse. Sorry. I don't know if death is, is worse. I

• 1:26:57Tom Bilyeu?

Well, it's two strikes against men in terms of men are far more likely to kill than women. Uh, if I had to put sexual degradation, I'm not sure what category.

• 1:27:09Speaker 01

But see, like even God, uh, and we can change subject if you want. I just feel very strongly.

• 1:27:13Tom Bilyeu?

We're committed at this point. By the way, chat, we have to stop today at seven thirty.

• 1:27:16Speaker 01

So David said, um, Cassie should have left. Dude, you don't understand coercive control. This is the problem.
