Encounters x338 - Between Worlds | Near Death Experiences

When we die, where do we go? Based on this week's listener stories, the answer might be beaches beyond the veil, astral planes, family reunions, or somewhere Lucifer is waiting for a chat. This week’s encounters episode is all about near death experiences and what happens in that space between life and death. NDE stories include: After a devastating house fire, a listener’s aunt has a near-death experience where she reunites with her children on a peaceful shoreline beyond life. During emergency surgery for an ectopic pregnancy, a listener encounters her late sister, who gently tells her it is not yet her time. One listener's wife dies for several minutes after a horrific accident and later recalls witnessing her grieving sister from an impossible out-of-body perspective. We hear from a listener whose astral adventures include fiery doorways, otherworldly encounters, and a mysterious pit that both they and their brother experienced separately years apart. Watch the video version here. Have ghost stories of your own? Have you ever died and come back to life?

• 2:12Corinne Vien?

When we all die, where do we go?

• 2:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

What is life as we know it? And do you have ghost stories?

• 2:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  And the answer is yes.

• 2:22Corinne Vien?

This is Two Girls, One Ghost.

• 2:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Two girls, one ghost. We are your ghostesses. That's Corinne.

• 2:27Corinne Vien?

  Hello.

• 2:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm Sabrina and this is an encounters episode where we read paranormal stories that you send to us, back to you. And we themed today's encounters near death experiences.

• 2:44Corinne Vien?

NDEs, baby. You die, you come back, you immediately log on to your email account and send us an email about it.

• 2:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Y'all, I almost died.

• 2:53Corinne Vien?

I just, I'm writing you from the hospital. I died 20 seconds ago.

• 2:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, some of these are pretty intense and scary, but then also some of them are so amazing and miraculous.

• 3:03Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 3:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And before we get into the stories, just a slight content warning, there is a lot of mention of death and child loss in this episode. So listen with caution. Do you want to go first?

• 3:16Corinne Vien?

  Me?

• 3:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 3:17Corinne Vien?

  Sure.

• 3:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 3:18Corinne Vien?

Fine. Hi, girls. My name is Quinn. My pronouns are they/them. I've emailed you before, but that email is a hot mess.

• 3:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Honestly, I get it. It's fine.

• 3:31Corinne Vien?

Anyway, I'm currently listening to episode 320 and I had to pause to reply to Cecily's story. Sabrina mentioned a few times that it sounds like Cecily's soul isn't quite attached to her body properly. Well, let me tell you. According to some individuals that do energy work, it is possible that she might be missing some tethers. I met someone back in 2020, a few years ago, after I had a severe brain injury. Since that accident, I've talked a lot about how I feel like when I came back, I came back as a different person. Like I was sort of in limbo, dancing between this side and the other.

• 4:09Corinne Vien?

And when I was in the ICU, I was sleeping probably 23 hours a day and I was unable to remember anything besides hearing my deceased aunt's favorite song. And pain.

• 4:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Why is that so Stranger Things?

• 4:22Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 4:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Running up the hill.

• 4:24Corinne Vien?

Make a deal with God. When I came out, I perceived the world differently. I had different preferences for food, for clothing. I can't even remember what else. But I became so much more interested in astrology and spirituality. And strangely, when my mom was talking to a friend, the friend asked if, since the accident, if I was more in touch with the stars.

• 4:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

What an interesting way to say that.

• 4:50Corinne Vien?

Yeah. Back in 2020, I'm in an herbalism workshop. I'm chatting with a woman about my experiences during and after acquiring the brain injury. And she told me that there's a technique in Reiki which the practitioner can reattach tethers. Tethers that come loose or unplugged. She said that she could see some of mine were unplugged. It must have happened after the accident.

• 5:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm for sure half unplugged. That would explain a lot.

• 5:18Corinne Vien?

I told you about one of my old coworkers who

• 5:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  The shadow work.

• 5:22Corinne Vien?

basically did like this sort of a very similar thing where, yeah, she would go and find pieces of people in Nashville, plane.

• 5:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  And bring them back.

• 5:30Corinne Vien?

And bring them back to them.

• 5:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Reattach you.

• 5:32Corinne Vien?

Plug you back in. I tried looking it up to see if I can find anything about it on the internet, but no luck. Back then, I did end up finding a Reiki professional who used this technique and did it on me, pulling residual energy from traumatic experiences. I also learned about pulling negative energy out of my third eye and my heart chakra.

• 5:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I would love to do that.

• 5:53Corinne Vien?

  Right?

• 5:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Just like.

• 5:54Corinne Vien?

Clean me out. Where does it go, though, once it's?

• 5:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Energy can't be created nor destroyed, so it goes somewhere.

• 6:02Corinne Vien?

Floating in your front yard, you do one misstep and it's back in.

• 6:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah. Like whoops.

• 6:07Corinne Vien?

  Oops.

• 6:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Boomerang.

• 6:10Corinne Vien?

Okay, so I know a lot of this is sounding a little bit out there, but I used to think that Ricky was bullshit. But I was so desperate to feel grounded and like myself again and not see the world through such a dark filter. And when she pulled that residual energy out, I had chills all over my body and I started sobbing. It was one of the most visceral and intense experiences I've ever had. And as for the tethers, I can't really say that it was an instant change. I've had to slowly come back to myself in this reality over time with lots of work on my mental and emotional and cognitive and spiritual health. And maybe that's a good push in the process. I'm not sure. With love and best wishes, Quinn.

• 6:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Wow, well, I'm really sorry, like to come back, like, one, amazing that you were able to survive and get through. What is sleeping 23 hours and like just being in such severe pain that whole time. But then

• 7:01Corinne Vien?

Not having any memories except for the

• 7:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  pain in that song.

• 7:05Corinne Vien?

  The song.

• 7:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I wonder if that song is triggering now.

• 7:08Corinne Vien?

Yeah, maybe. It's like not, not a favorite song. It's more of like, oh, my God, remember when I survived that traumatic brain injury.

• 7:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But also how confusing to come out of it and like everything you thought you knew about yourself is different.

• 7:19Corinne Vien?

I know that's what's so interesting about the brain.

• 7:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I know.

• 7:22Corinne Vien?

But also just like the spirituality piece, I mean, coming out more in touch with the stars. Having a set of interest in all of these things. Is it the brain changing you or did you just tap a little bit more into maybe like a past life or

• 7:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 7:36Corinne Vien?

something else that only exists in this like other plane that you access when you, for some of us, when you temporarily die.

• 7:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Good question and it remains as such.

• 7:48Corinne Vien?

  Yes.

• 7:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I have one from our listener, Alicia, and it's called my mom's three different third man experiences.

• 7:58Corinne Vien?

  I just got chills.

• 7:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Plus a Georgie? We'll see what that means.

• 8:03Corinne Vien?

  A Georgie.

• 8:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Hi, Ghostesses. Love the show. The topic of the third man syndrome is so interesting to me, along with most paranormal topics. And my mom is in her late 60s. She grew up in the South where we still live. And she's not particularly woo woo, but she does lean spiritual and has had three third man experiences. Three different ones. So the first one, she had years of trouble trying to get pregnant with what ended up being me. And in the early eighties, she heard a voice in her head that said, this is not your problem anymore. Then it felt like a literal load of weight was lifted off of her shoulders. She said it sounded like a masculine voice. Very soon after that, she got pregnant with me. Like, what?

• 8:49Corinne Vien?

I got chills again. This is not your problem anymore.

• 8:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 8:53Corinne Vien?

I took care of it. You are with child.

• 8:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Number two. She was in a car crash in North Georgia. And as she was crashing, she heard, let go, and did.

• 9:04Corinne Vien?

Is it the same voice? I want to know that.

• 9:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Maybe, but this one, she knows whose voice it was and doesn't specify in the first one. She let go of the wheel, and the car spun the right way, basically saving her life. She crashed, but was not harmed. She said she knew it was her dad's voice saying, let go.

• 9:24Corinne Vien?

Oh, my God. I feel like it's so important that it was her dad's voice, because if it was just an unidentified voice, you might second guess yourself. And it's so hard to just release control of a vehicle and let yourself actively crash.

• 9:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. Okay, the third one was my husband and I were going through fertility treatments to have our second kid in 2022, when she heard a voice say, Georgie is going to have a brother. She couldn't determine if it was a masculine or feminine voice. It was just a voice. What she had no idea of was at that exact moment, my husband and I were doing our final I U I attempt, and it was successful. But it worked too well, and I was pregnant with two babies.

• 10:07Corinne Vien?

Oh, my gosh. Wait, I keep hearing stories like this, like just around me, where people do like I U I or IVF or something for their first kid, and then just either get like twins, or just get accidentally pregnant, or pregnant immediately with like everything that follows.

• 10:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We have a friend, well, I don't know if you know her, but she was in my sorority in college, and her and her husband were having such a hard time getting pregnant. And so they got a surrogate, like they did all of like the fertility treatments and like,

• 10:34Corinne Vien?

  Oh, yes.

• 10:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

She like is posting a bunch on social media and stuff, but she.

• 10:38Corinne Vien?

So now she's kids like three months apart or something like that, right?

• 10:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So she did the surrogate, surrogate got like, it took and was like pregnant with their child. Immediately she gets pregnant on her, like on her own. So now they have basically like twins.

• 10:52Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 10:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  But they're three months apart.

• 10:54Corinne Vien?

  I can't even imagine.

• 10:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I know. Wild.

• 10:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Um, okay, so it worked too well and I found out I was pregnant with two babies. It was terrifying, very stressful. And I was panicking for a few weeks, but I finally told my mom what was going on and she had to tell me what she heard. She thought that by letting me know that she heard one brother, like a brother, singular, not brothers, plural, would help me cope. And honestly, it did. I knew of my mom's previous voice hearing experiences, which were super on point, so I took comfort in this. And low and behold, a few weeks in, it was finally determined that the other fetus wasn't growing right and was likely not viable and vanished, which is called vanishing twin syndrome. And this all happened very early in the pregnancy. And honestly, in my mind, felt like very good news because now I could just focus

• 11:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  on one healthy baby.

• 11:45Corinne Vien?

Having twins can seem so exciting, but it's also

• 11:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 11:48Corinne Vien?

like the actual pregnancy and carrying two healthy kids is

• 11:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 11:53Corinne Vien?

  becomes very stressful.

• 11:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

A few weeks later, we found out I was having a boy and my daughter, whose name is Georgie, now has a healthy little brother. So yeah, my mom was right, or the voice who told her was right.

• 12:06Corinne Vien?

  Dang.

• 12:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

She said Augie will now be two on New Year's Eve.

• 12:09Corinne Vien?

  Oh, Georgie and Augie.

• 12:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I know, so cute.

• 12:12Corinne Vien?

That's so cute. Wait, pause, I want to rename my children.

• 12:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I imagine there are a lot of variables and reasons this phenomenon happens. Maybe not all of them are paranormal, but I do think some of them are. And I definitely believe that my dad saved my mom from dying in a car accident. Wow. Side note, and this is content warning for near death and drowning of a child.

• 12:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But I'm extra grateful for our healthy boy, Augie. He did have a non-fatal drowning accident this past Labor Day, and it was terrifying. When we got him out of the water screaming for help, he was not breathing. The following minutes and experience was truly a blur, but a crowd gathered and they were able to bring my baby back. The park ranger said it's the only time he's seen someone survive an incident like this, and I really fully believe my son had a near-death experience, but he's too young to really talk about it. Thank you all for the fun paranormal chats, Alicia.

• 13:13Corinne Vien?

My heart is pounding just thinking of the anxiety of that.

• 13:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Like, thank goodness he's okay.

• 13:18Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, horrific, horrific.

• 13:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  So scary, yeah.

• 13:20Corinne Vien?

  Wow, oh my gosh.

• 13:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You guys have some, a lot of spiritual energy looking out for your family.

• 13:25Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, that's for sure.

• 13:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 13:27Corinne Vien?

Grandma is gonna be told, everything's gonna be okay.

• 13:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Grandma knows everything because the spirits whisper.

• 13:34Corinne Vien?

Because someone else is telling her everything.

• 13:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Whisper the words into her ears at night.

• 13:37Corinne Vien?

  Wow.

Okay, well, I have one called Near Death Experience. My great aunt got to see her boys on the other side before being revived. Hey, ghouls, I hope this finds you well. My name is Savannah, feel free to use my name. I'm a new listener as of this month, and I'm not a podcast girly, but there's just something about you guys that has me hooked.

• 15:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We got our hooks into you. We won't let go.

• 15:50Speaker 03

  No.

• 15:51Corinne Vien?

For some background knowledge, my great-great-grandfather on my mom's side was the seventh son of the seventh son.

• 15:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh, my gosh, that's a lot of children.

• 15:59Corinne Vien?

That's a lot of kids. My grandma and mom always told me that we were gifted with psychic and healing abilities because of that. He had five kids, two girls, three boys. And my nana, my great-grandma, being the second child, and my great-aunt Marie was the fourth child out of all of them. I have stories from them, and I'm going to start off with my great-aunt Marie first. She survived a house fire that took the lives of her three boys and almost took her life as well.

• 16:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 16:30Corinne Vien?

As well as her unborn son. She was dead for a few seconds before doctors could save her and her baby. However, she had a near-death experience and she got to see her oldest boys one more time. Her husband fell asleep with a lit cigarette in his hand, and unfortunately, it fell onto the chair right next to him. And once the chair caught fire, he woke up, he ran out the front door, exposing the fire to the cold Canadian December air, leaving the door wide open and his sleeping wife and three boys upstairs. I'm not entirely sure of all the details from here, but I can confidently remember from all of my family's retelling of this story. That my aunt sustained burns so badly on the backside of her body from head to heel.

• 17:13Corinne Vien?

And I'm pretty sure she had to run through the fire to gather her boys up into one bedroom to escape. I'm not really a hundred percent sure on that. I do know, though, that her burns were so bad that she spent a very long time in the hospital.

• 17:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, my.

• 17:26Corinne Vien?

Even after giving birth months later.

• 17:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 17:29Corinne Vien?

I was told that when she went to go open up the window, the pressure of the air sucked her out. She landed in a snowbank and that fully knocked her unconscious.

• 17:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh, that breaks my heart. This is so sad.

• 17:43Corinne Vien?

This is like so tragic. Unfortunately, this left her three tiny boys behind upstairs in the fire. First responders tried to rush to them, but the tallest ladder was on loan to someone who wanted to put up his Christmas lights. Sadly, by the time they got to the boys, it was too late. They had died of smoke inhalation. I remember my Nana saying that the firefighters were there saying that they saw the boys all curled up together. They looked like they were peacefully asleep.

• 18:12Corinne Vien?

My, oh, my God, I'm gonna start crying.

• 18:15Corinne Vien?

  We've had some criers recently.

• 18:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I know.

• 18:17Corinne Vien?

My aunt was peeled out of the snowbank, leaving layers of her dead burnt skin in the snow.

• 18:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, my God.

• 18:23Corinne Vien?

She was rushed to the hospital. She was placed into a coma due to the severity of her burns. While in a coma, she ended up dying, but thankfully the doctors brought her back. What she experienced cannot be explained. When she died, she had what I believe we would call a near death experience.

• 18:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Absolutely.

• 18:42Corinne Vien?

She says she woke up underwater. She wasn't scared. She felt like she was at ease. She started to swim upwards and when she broke the surface of the water, she could feel the warmth. And she could also see a beach with some people on it. So naturally she started swimming towards them. As she swam towards the shore, but before she could reach too close, she was met by her boys. The oldest boy told her, Mom, we are at peace now. We love you and we are not mad about what happened. It was our time, but it is not yours.

• 19:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, my God.

• 19:16Corinne Vien?

And that's when he shoved her back underwater. And she came back to life again in her coma, but alive. I never got to meet my Aunt Marie, but my mom and her had a connection that was beyond Aunt Anice. I don't know if they were two in flames or what, but there was definitely something there and everybody saw it.

• 19:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, this is so heartbreaking.

• 19:35Corinne Vien?

It's to the point that my aunt actually still visits my mom in her dreams. My mom told me that there were times when her and my aunt would get together and use a Ouija board.

• 19:46Corinne Vien?

And I should say, my mom always expressed that her and my aunt could control it. But if she ever heard or saw any of her kids touch one, that we would meet Jesus.

• 19:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, man.

• 19:58Corinne Vien?

I tried to ask her today, as I write this, to see if she had any specific people or members of the family that would talk to her, anything, but her words were, honestly, I don't recall anyone specific coming up to communicate. The thing usually just went wild when we used it.

• 20:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So there were so many people trying to talk.

• 20:16Corinne Vien?

And then she said that this was in her late teens and early twenties when she was doing this. And now she's 57, so fair enough, queen. To this day, my mom still has that Ouija board. We have special instructions to bury it with her when she goes.

• 20:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wow.

• 20:33Corinne Vien?

And guys, I have a confession. My mom and my sister do not know about this to this day. When I was in grade six, I touched her Ouija board.

• 20:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's like finding Nemo, Nemo touching the butt.

• 20:45Corinne Vien?

Literally, little old me left the planchette facing upwards. And thankfully, nothing bad happened after. However, there was the feeling in me for days that I needed to flip it back over. So I finally caved, I went back in and I turned it over. I didn't know what I was doing or why, but it felt like I needed to do it and it did go away.

• 21:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Trust your instincts.

• 21:05Corinne Vien?

After that, little old me went about my life. It wasn't until years later that I realized what I had done. And when I did, my stomach dropped. You can tell me this now, I'm getting sick to my stomach. But I also wonder, was that my Aunt Marie pestering me to fix my mistake? Before someone or something showed me the consequences to my actions? Or was it my intuition? Thanks for reading. I can't wait to continue to binge you guys. See you on the other side, Savannah.

• 21:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I am just, my heart breaks for Savannah's great aunt. So, no one should ever have to experience that.

• 21:39Corinne Vien?

  How do you even?

• 21:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But like, I, I am glad that in a time where there's zero silver linings, that she at least got to hear from her boys that they are safe. And they're okay.

• 21:50Corinne Vien?

And it's also miraculous, given all the trauma that happened to her body, that her unborn child at the time was

• 21:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 21:58Corinne Vien?

  Continuing life.

• 22:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I know. And that also gives you something to like, after such a tragedy, like it's good to pour your love into another child.

• 22:08Corinne Vien?

  Brutal, brutal, brutal.

• 22:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

All right. Well, I have one that will be a little bit of a palate cleanser-ish. And it's because I went a little broke and was like, okay, well, a near-death experience could qualify as an entity trying to kill you.

• 22:26Corinne Vien?

  Attempted murder.

• 22:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Attempted murder.

• 22:28Corinne Vien?

We went straight to attempted murder.

• 22:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Near-death experience. From our listener Sophie, that is called, "An Entity Tried To Kill Me." Hi. I recently stumbled across your page and I watched a couple of your videos and I was an instant fan. But as I watched your episode on true ghost stories, it reminded me of an encounter I had two years ago. I'm 20 now, and so I was about 18 when this happened. It was a November night. I was home alone. And I was used to being home alone a lot because my mom, who was the only provider of our family, worked a lot. It was just the two of us ever since I was 10. She would come home at about 7:00 PM from work. And I had mononucleosis at the time. So I was home for about, is it just mono?

• 23:11Corinne Vien?

  I think it's just mono.

• 23:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Never heard it called that.

• 23:14Corinne Vien?

  Mononucleosis.

• 23:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. Didn't know that it had a full name like that. So I was home for about two months. I never felt uncomfortable in my own home. It was a three-story home. It was very spacious. And at around 7:00 PM, I was in the kitchen, located on the first floor, making myself some mono-friendly dinner. We had a huge counter table where we do most of our cooking. And at the far end of the counter, we have a stack of knives that are in a knife holder, so the knives don't fall out or move. And we have a little picture to visualize. Sophie included like me cooking and it's like a drawing. Anyway, I was chopping some vegetables with a small knife when I heard a loud sound coming from the floor above me. I thought maybe my mom came home, so I yelled, "Hi." But no one replied.

• 23:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I waited a second and I heard another loud sound. So now I'm thinking an intruder had come into our house and I'm a little panicked. So I take the knife that I was using to cut the vegetables and I grasp it in my hand and slowly I move upstairs to see what's happening. I looked to my right to see where the front door is. And that door was closed, but the door next to it, which is always closed and shut tight, was wide open. The space behind that door doesn't store many items. It hides our boiler and some old house paints. And all of these house paints, which are never stacked on top of each other, but just placed side by side, have all somehow fallen and spilt everywhere. I initially thought, that's weird, but phew, no intruder in my house, right?

• 24:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Although I would be like, an intruder tried to go in the closet and knocked all the paint over.

• 24:46Corinne Vien?

  Right.

• 24:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I quickly put my knife down and I start to clean up this paint so it wouldn't damage our floors. And as soon as I start cleaning, I hear a loud sound downstairs in the kitchen where I had been just prior to this. I was like, oh my God, someone is fucking with me. Someone did break in. So I quickly went downstairs and I see that the largest knife that we owned, and I never touched and had been secured in the knife rack, had fallen. Not on the counter though, but was now on the ground, which is impossible unless someone literally pulled it out of the knife block and placed it there. I instantly felt a chill run down my spine and knew I had to get out of my own house immediately.

• 25:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I called my mom. I told her what had happened and she said she was stuck in traffic and wouldn't be home for another hour. So I ran out of the house because I knew that someone or something had either just tried to kill me or scare the living shit out of me. I quickly ran to my neighbor's house where my friend lived. They looked at me very funny, admittedly, but it was then that I realized I was still in my underwear.

• 25:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So yeah, they definitely thought I was crazy.

• 25:54Corinne Vien?

You're scared. You're not thinking about anything.

• 25:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And did a big hoodie on. But yeah, they probably thought I was crazy. But hey, who wants to go die in their house alone? Not me. When my mom came home, she checked every corner of the house and she's such a boss. Because mom, I would never. That woman has balls. No one was in the house and we checked our cameras and no one entered or exited the house. So yeah, I now believe an evil entity was there to get me. And I did not want to sleep in my house after that. Not to be a complete baby, but I did sleep with my mom in her bed because I was scared to sleep alone.

• 26:28Corinne Vien?

I have absolutely done that as an adult.

• 26:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, for sure. Fortunately, this stuff did not ever occur to me again, but in the moment, it was absolutely terrifying.

• 26:38Corinne Vien?

  Oh, my God.

• 26:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Saying hello from Slovakia, your new listener, Sophie.

• 26:41Corinne Vien?

Dang, Sophie, I'm glad that you weren't murdered by your ghost.

• 26:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And look at how big the knife is that felt.

• 26:46Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, that's really, really big.

• 26:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And like they have such long blades.

• 26:49Corinne Vien?

  It's a horror movie knife.

• 26:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. And the blade is so long that when you think of a knife block, they're deep in there.

• 26:55Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 26:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Like even if something like tried to like nudge it out, it would take a full.

• 26:59Corinne Vien?

You have to, the angle has to be right to get it out. Like, that is not an accidental slip.

• 27:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

No, yikes. And the like bringing you upstairs, then going down where you were. Ugh. I'm glad you survived that night.

• 27:14Corinne Vien?

Right. And that it like didn't happen again. That there weren't more attempts. Or at least none as obvious.

• 27:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Once your mom got in that house, the ghost was like, oh, I am messing with the wrong people.

• 27:27Corinne Vien?

Wow. Okay. Well, I have a story from our listener Nicole. When I was 21 years old, I had an ectopic pregnancy. And for those that do not know what that is, I got pregnant and the fetus didn't make it to the uterus and started growing in my fallopian tube.

• 27:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Super dangerous.

• 27:43Corinne Vien?

Very dangerous. Yes. I had to call 911 due to the pain and I was in the hospital when they told me that my tube had ruptured. I was internally bleeding. I needed emergency surgery. And so under the knife I went.

• 27:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That is terrifying.

• 27:58Corinne Vien?

Before I go into what happened, I need to tell you that my sister died when I was seven. She was a very sick little girl. She passed when she was just five years old. She couldn't walk, talk, sit up on her own. She couldn't eat or drink. And that is important to the story.

• 28:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  So sad.

• 28:16Corinne Vien?

So now back to my surgery. The last thing I remember is being in my room and them telling me that I was going to go to sleep and that I would feel better when I woke up. I drifted off, feeling cold and so scared, but then started feeling warm shortly after and less scared, more peaceful. And then I saw her, my sister. I can remember word for word what she said. She said, Coley, childhood nickname, I wasn't expecting you.

• 28:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, my gosh.

• 28:46Corinne Vien?

I remember responding, Christy? And her smile grew wider. Hi, Coley. I think there was a mistake. I'm not ready for you yet. You have lives to change still. Just remember, I always love you. Give mom a hug for me. I'm happy here. You shouldn't worry.

• 29:06Corinne Vien?

Today, I'm a caregiver in a memory care facility, changing lives every day. I love her so much and I miss my sister every day. I look back on this memory with so much love and so much adoration for her. She is my guardian angel. Thank you for doing this. I don't know how many people would believe this, but I know that I now have a space that I can share this kind of stuff. See you on the other side and this side too, please. From Nicole.

• 29:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Wait, Nicole, I also like, it's so clear. Your sister is like just watching out for you and your family.

• 29:40Corinne Vien?

  Coley, I wasn't expecting you.

• 29:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

What are you doing here, girlfriend?

• 29:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Not yet, not yet. Wow. And I'm also glad that you're okay. Like, that is such a scary experience.

• 29:51Corinne Vien?

Yeah, yeah. Ictopic pregnancies are very serious.

• 29:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. Well, I have one to end this episode on, but don't worry, there's more on Patreon.

• 30:00Corinne Vien?

That's true, we got a bonus.

• 30:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You get a bonus story this week. It will be available on Patreon for the Only Phantoms tier. So it's like our $10 a month tier, which gets access to like book club, witch class, and then every other week, you get a bonus story at the end of encounters.

• 30:15Corinne Vien?

But before then, Sabrina forgot that I have one more.

• 30:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I don't know how to count.

• 30:21Corinne Vien?

You're just excited to tell your bonus one on Patreon.

• 30:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I am excited to tell my bonus story. So basically now you'll get two more stories here and then an extra, extra story on Patreon.

• 30:31Corinne Vien?

  Yes.

• 30:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, so this is from our listener Dawn and Dawn says, "That one time my wife died."

• 30:42Corinne Vien?

  Oh.

• 30:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

"Don't worry, she got better." She lived, she lived, or she came back to life.

• 30:47Corinne Vien?

That's such a creepy way to say it.

• 30:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. "So I found out about Two Girls and My Ghost from Morbid in 2023 and I went back to the beginning of Two Girls and My Ghost because I'm crazy, but I've almost caught up. I love your relationship with each other and hope you know how hard it is to find a friendship like that."

• 31:03Corinne Vien?

  Oh.

• 31:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

"I just listened to the near-death experience episode and I thought I would share my wife's story. This happened when my wife was a teenager, a few years before I ever met her. But here's the tale, the way that I remember her telling me. She and her friend were trunk surfing."

• 31:19Corinne Vien?

  What's that?

• 31:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I think where you jump from one trunk to another on like trucks.

• 31:23Corinne Vien?

  Oh.

• 31:25Corinne Vien?

Trees. Like little monkeys like jumping from trunk to trunk.

• 31:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, like tree trunk?

• 31:32Corinne Vien?

Trunks. We didn't think tree trunks.

• 31:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Or is it like where you like have like a string attached to you and you're like on a

• 31:39Corinne Vien?

Oh, I think that probably makes sense.

• 31:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Cause like surfing? I don't know.

• 31:43Corinne Vien?

Yeah, you're on something with wheels being dragged behind a truck, but trunk.

• 31:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Anyway.

• 31:49Corinne Vien?

We don't know. Sounds dangerous, though.

• 31:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It sounds like there's one car. So they're trunk surfing on her sister's car, a Dodge Neon. Oh, maybe even just like standing up.

• 31:58Corinne Vien?

  Oh.

• 31:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

In the trunk. Either way, very, very dangerous.

• 32:01Corinne Vien?

They're in the trunk of a car somehow.

• 32:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

"What else are you gonna do in a small southern town? So her friend starts to fall and my wife, T, reached out to her friend to catch her falling, but in doing so, ends up falling off the trunk herself and cracked her skull open."

• 32:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It killed her. Her friend was also injured but and recovered. But T, my wife, even though before I knew her, was apparently dead for two to five minutes before being officially resuscitated.

• 32:31Corinne Vien?

That's a long time to be dead, like without oxygen to your brain.

• 32:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, she was resuscitated and put into a coma for a bit. And as her mom tells it, she was throwing nurses off of her. It took so many of them to hold her down because her fight or flight instincts went off. She's maintained that supernatural strength and combined with her height, 5'11", that she is a force to be reckoned with. Kind of like you, you're a force to be reckoned with.

• 32:56Corinne Vien?

I'm smaller, but I'm wider. Sturdy.

• 32:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Enough backstory, on to the spook. So apparently during her coma, she had an out of body experience. She remembers the accident and then her memory goes out. But she remembers sitting on her bed at home and her sister coming and crying about how sad she was that she hurt her and how it was all her fault that T was in the hospital. And T tried to go up to her sister and talk to her, but her sister acted like T wasn't there at all, couldn't hear her, couldn't see her. And later, when T wakes up from her coma, she tells her sister about this experience. Her sister is in shock because that experience that T saw exactly matched what happened the day after the accident when her sister had gone home to get clothes

• 33:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

for everyone who had been in the hospital.

• 33:45Corinne Vien?

She was out of body actual projecting, witnessing?

• 33:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Mm-hmm.

• 33:48Corinne Vien?

Oh, this is like so many of the near death experiences that we've covered, like research wise, where people are with their loved ones and like watching them go through

• 33:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 33:56Corinne Vien?

the process of like grief, attempted recovery. Yeah.

• 34:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, literally seeing it. T looks back now at this memory and this time in her life, minorly annoyed that nobody took pictures of her.

• 34:10Corinne Vien?

  What?

• 34:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  What?

• 34:12Corinne Vien?

So she could post on Instagram?

• 34:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Look, I survived. Fast forward a few years and I meet T in an internet chatroom of all places. Yes, we're old, not that old, but old. And that's a whole another set of weird. But we met and talked mutually for about a year and then we got married. And her sister gave us the car that killed T as a wedding gift.

• 34:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Now, here we are, years later, that car long gone, but several spooky incidents and general weirdness behind us. And it seems like there is now a family rite of passage of dying and coming back to life or near-death experiences. We're basically a family of zombies. We have a kid and all three of us have technically died and come back.

• 34:58Corinne Vien?

  What?

• 34:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  What?

• 35:00Corinne Vien?

  Are you okay?

• 35:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

See you on the other side, Dawn.

• 35:03Corinne Vien?

  Oh, my god.

• 35:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But honestly, you kind of are a family of zombies.

• 35:07Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 35:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You're back from the dead.

• 35:08Corinne Vien?

That's kind of cool to feel like I'm a zombie.

• 35:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Anyone who survived and died and come back to life, you are a zombie. You get to say you're a zombie.

• 35:16Corinne Vien?

Zombie, that's your theme song. If anyone plays baseball and you need a walk-on song and you've died and come back, zombie.

• 35:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Put it on the cranberries.

• 35:24Corinne Vien?

You are a zombie, by definition.

• 35:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Zombies are real.

• 35:27Corinne Vien?

And they're emailing us. That's wild.

• 35:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wow.

• 35:32Corinne Vien?

Thinking about that, I'm shocked that my dad hasn't ever died and come back because he's had so many near-death experiences, as in things that should have killed him, but he didn't ever technically die.

• 35:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. Which still counts as kind of a near-death experience, yeah, in a way.

• 35:47Corinne Vien?

  Way too many.

• 35:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, wow.

• 35:49Corinne Vien?

More than nine lives that guy has. Actually, when I was picking out stories for this, not to say I save lives or anything, but it made me think of one of my friends, because it's not like these were near... Some of them, well, one of them was definitely near death. But I have one friend who I don't see very often anymore because of my life changes, having a child and not being as social. But throughout, knowing him, I've known him since I was five, there are like three moments where I did intervene and it could have been something bad.

• 36:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  So you're the guardian?

• 36:20Corinne Vien?

Yeah. I kind of saved him from a riptide one time.

• 36:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, my gosh.

• 36:24Corinne Vien?

By kind of, I swam into the riptide and gave him instructions on what to do. And then I got out of the riptide and he listened to me and survived. Another time, these are like... Not as intense.

• 36:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Don't undersell yourself. Give yourself more credit. You're an angel.

• 36:39Corinne Vien?

One time I had like a broken fingers from lacrosse and we were tubing and we, the tube flew like way up high into the air and my friend fell and he like let go and he's like falling through the air and I just grab onto his life jacket and he's flapping in the breeze and I'm holding on with my like broken fingers.

• 36:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Super strength.

• 37:00Corinne Vien?

And his parents are on the boat and they're like, what the hell?

• 37:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You saved him.

• 37:03Corinne Vien?

So I probably saved him from a broken bone.

• 37:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Why are they all, they're all water experiences too?

• 37:08Corinne Vien?

Okay, interesting. The last one is not a water experience. He had an interesting looking mole, but I saw it in the pool and I cornered him and said, I don't want you to be embarrassed. I'm not trying to like attack you or tell you what to do, but you need to go get that checked. And then I sent him my dermatologist and then he went and got it checked and he said, this is funky. And then it went off for testing. He's okay, but that I, I was in a body of water when identifying his.

• 37:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wow.

• 37:33Corinne Vien?

His marking. I said, this doesn't match the ABCDs I know.

• 37:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Wow, you are, you are an angel.

• 37:40Corinne Vien?

My, this is my excuse to brag about my one friend who every eight years I do something to help him survive a little bit more.

• 37:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You guys gotta go meet up in the water again. Just, yeah, cause I feel like.

• 37:52Corinne Vien?

Well, now I'm scared. I think we need to avoid plenty of water together.

• 37:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Um, what story do you have? What are you gonna end this episode on?

• 39:01Corinne Vien?

This is called out of body astral near death experiences. Hello Sabrina, Corinne, Sven, Lea, everyone else. I've been meaning to write this for a couple of months now and I'm finally writing it in the early mornings of Halloween 2024. Nothing spoken going on, just had to take a friend to work. I wanted to share some out of body astral experiences that I had. And I'll try to write them in order, though I didn't write down when they happened. And they did happen years ago. And my pronouns, you can use he or she for me. I don't really care. I am in a male body, but my soul and astral body is female. Love it.

• 39:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Appreciate it.

• 39:36Corinne Vien?

The first one came about when I decided to challenge Lucifer when I got frustrated.

• 39:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Interesting decision.

• 39:43Corinne Vien?

Yes, I was really frustrated with what was going on in the world at the time. And a few nights after that, I had gone to bed and at some point I found myself in a pit. The pit had a lot of doors lining it and each one of them was on fire. What did I do? Well, I flew up to the top and as I reached the top, lightning then struck me. It knocked me back down, but I was able to grab onto the edge and haul myself out of this pit.

• 40:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  My gosh.

• 40:09Corinne Vien?

And that is when I came face to face with Lucifer for the very first time. He seemed to be impressed.

• 40:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Meaning this has happened multiple, like you're buddies.

• 40:17Corinne Vien?

  Meet him again.

• 40:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

A weekly session with your therapist Lucifer.

• 40:21Corinne Vien?

He seemed to be impressed that I had escaped. You're impressing him. This is the beginning of like a best friend relationship.

• 40:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It becomes a buddy romp.

• 40:29Corinne Vien?

No, I've never told anyone this. In fact, the first time that I'm telling anyone this is right now. A few years later, my brother had told me that he had experienced something like the pit. He said that he tried to climb out, but then lightning struck him down and he fell. And then he had no choice but to try all of these doors that were on fire.

• 40:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  All of them on fire.

• 40:50Corinne Vien?

He said only one of the doors actually leads out and behind every other door is a fear.

• 40:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 40:56Corinne Vien?

That's so crazy that like his brother's telling him this, not knowing that he also experienced the exact same thing.

• 41:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Damn.

• 41:03Corinne Vien?

I believe the next one happened when I was asleep. I was suddenly in a tunnel of light people. And these light people were talking about near death experiences. But unlike a lot of other experiences that I've heard about these light tunnels, this one was forked. So I had to make a choice and I took the left hand path.

• 41:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Why are all of your experiences with like options or different paths to follow?

• 41:26Corinne Vien?

Are you just making the right choices and?

• 41:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 41:29Corinne Vien?

This is all a game to Lucifer. One day you might.

• 41:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Make the wrong choice again. We're all just PCs.

• 41:38Corinne Vien?

Okay, so I took the left hand path and I ended up in hell. And again, I met Lucifer, this time for the second time.

• 41:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  He's like, not you again.

• 41:46Corinne Vien?

Oh my gosh, you keep taking the wrong turns with the right ones.

• 41:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 41:51Corinne Vien?

We had a pleasant conversation, which I really can't remember, except for that it was his job to punish people. And now, years later, on Coast to Coast AM, I hear this woman describing her near death experience. She said that she had surgery for a brain aneurysm and she described this tunnel of light that forked. Except she took the right hand path, not the left like I did. And now, I don't know if I died or not, but did I experience a near death experience?

• 42:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hmm.

• 42:19Corinne Vien?

The next experience happened when I was starting to wake up. I saw the image of a beholder coming and rushing at me. A beholder? Is that a religious thing?

• 42:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I don't know.

• 42:30Corinne Vien?

I instinctively threw myself back, but my body did not move. Instead, I left my body. I knew what was happening. I was able to move without any trouble. And I just got up, went through my bedroom door like it wasn't there. But unfortunately, I was then sucked back into my body at that point.

• 42:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Also, the idea of like, like, we've talked about so many different scenarios where it's like you and I are in a place and like, would you ditch me if, you know, like ditching someone else when like a scary thing happens, but you ditched your own physical body?

• 42:58Corinne Vien?

  You ditched yourself.

• 43:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That's wild.

• 43:01Corinne Vien?

You literally just really peace out, body. I'm good.

• 43:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Don't need you anymore.

• 43:06Corinne Vien?

Okay, so my next experience happened before I had a physical body, but the memory of it popped up. So I had been dreaming and in the dream, I found a statue with some words written on it. Now, these words were a spell, but they were written backwards. When I said those words, a memory came up. I was with four other girls. I had a female body in this memory and we were facing this big, black, shapeless entity. We had these crystalline structures around us and they were acting as our shields. I was channeling magic from the other four girls through me. There were little pieces of the entity that were starting to chip off, like it was being hit with a spell. Years later, I met this guy online and he was an entropic entity.

• 43:52Corinne Vien?

He described the exact same memory, but from his point of view. Turns out, I had put him to sleep for a very long time with my spell.

• 44:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  What?

• 44:02Corinne Vien?

And that memory ties to reoccurring dreams that I had where I was in a field and there are five old fashioned windmills in it and the windmills are falling one by one and there's this really big block entity under the ground that would rise up.

• 44:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Why are you chilling adventures of Sabrina?

• 44:16Corinne Vien?

  Literally.

• 44:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. I feel like you are a

• 44:20Corinne Vien?

  I don't think you're a human.

• 44:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You're not of this world. Yeah.

• 44:23Corinne Vien?

I think you're experiencing like human life.

• 44:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

As like a fun shits and gigs.

• 44:28Corinne Vien?

Yeah, like, or like, are you trying to hide because you did something? And Lucifer keeps trying to like pull you back, but you keep escaping back to your human body.

• 44:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I watch the show. But you're living it.

• 44:39Corinne Vien?

But you're living it. Okay, so the last one is my favorite experience that I've had so far. One night, I found myself in a field and it had some structures that reminded me of Greek and Roman architecture. The sky was very pink with a pearlescent sheen. And the colors weren't really washed out. It was just kind of like when you see something with sunglasses and it reduces the glare. So I was sitting with another girl, again, I'm in a female body in this experience. We each had a dress on and the dresses looked like something like a, out of a princess fairy tale. They were both a shade of blue. Anyway, we're talking, she's worried about not being good enough. I tell her that they, and I don't remember who they were, they wouldn't have picked her if they didn't think that she could do the job.

• 45:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh, that makes me, like, it makes me think of like how you are to your friend. This listener is able to, while living in a human body, is still like traveling through the astral plane and being like a guardian angel to people.

• 45:36Corinne Vien?

Oh, oh, that's sweet. I was thinking of it as a memory, but you're thinking of it as like an active situation.

• 45:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 45:42Corinne Vien?

  Interesting.

• 45:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You leave your body at night and you go shepherd other humans to continue through their journeys.

• 45:48Corinne Vien?

  Don't get down on yourself.

• 45:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 45:50Corinne Vien?

  You're great, you deserve this.

• 45:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  They wouldn't have chosen you.

• 45:53Corinne Vien?

Yeah. I can't remember what the job was or what she was picked for, but I had a sense that we were at least pretty good friends, if not sisters, maybe family of some kind. And if you read Birth of Queendom by Velvet Rose Hopkins, it might give you an idea of my experiences, since I think that kind of seems like where it was. Oh, and full disclosure, the author is a friend of mine who wrote this book.

• 46:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 46:18Corinne Vien?

  And an ex-girlfriend.

• 46:21Corinne Vien?

But maybe on the astral plane, she's a family member. It's interesting because she has had dreams of being my grandmother in the astral plane. And I've had dreams of her being my mother, though she doesn't look anything like someone related to me on this physical plane. Yeah, or like just traveling souls who keep reiter- re, what am I looking for?

• 46:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Reincarnating?

• 46:42Corinne Vien?

Reincarnating, yeah. Like reiterating is definitely not the right word.

• 46:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Kinda.

• 46:46Corinne Vien?

Yeah. Reincarnating, like together as different, in different relationships. Anyway, this book that she wrote is a book about her life and sort of like memories of her life on the astral plane. It's influenced by that. And this is where that experience in my dream took place. Well, that's all for now. See you on the other side. You can call me Rachel. Or that that literally is not what they said. But maybe we should call him Rachel. It was Richard or Jill.

• 47:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh, you're kind of like Rachel, Rich Jill.

• 47:20Corinne Vien?

  Rich Jill.

• 47:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wow.

• 47:21Corinne Vien?

  RJ.

• 47:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Truly, you are experiencing a higher life.

• 47:28Corinne Vien?

It just doesn't seem like the typical.

• 47:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Human experience.

• 47:34Corinne Vien?

Dream world, actual plane, like even their brother.

• 47:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 47:39Corinne Vien?

Having the same exact dream with the pit and stuff. It does almost make me, okay, I had the, I was saying like, what if they're hiding in the human body right now? What if they were like banished to the human body?

• 47:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh, or their whole entire alien family is like in witness protection? And the only way you do witness protection is you become a human. You're in spiritual witness protection.

• 48:01Corinne Vien?

And then it's kind of like, who's Lucifer to them?

• 48:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  He's daddy.

• 48:04Corinne Vien?

  It could, it feels.

• 48:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  My father's Lucifer.

• 48:08Corinne Vien?

  That's the name of, of.

• 48:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Of their memoir.

• 48:11Corinne Vien?

Yeah. I'm like trying to figure it out because it's like they're surviving their encounters with Lucifer. And the conversation is kind of friendly and engaging.

• 48:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I do believe Lucifer is a great time, like probably has lots of good stories. And is a bit of a narcissist, so probably likes the attention. And puts on a bit of a show.

• 48:31Corinne Vien?

It's just, I mean, I referenced it a few episodes ago about like the meme or whatever that was like, when you go to hell, there's nothing that they can do to you that isn't already happening on earth. But like, I think that that has made the idea or fear of hell very different. Cause it's like, what can you offer that's worse?

• 48:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

What can you do? If you did like laser hair removal on all parts of my body, yeah, that's pretty horrible.

• 48:54Corinne Vien?

  For eternity.

• 48:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But I'm also willingly doing that to myself. Actually, I will say it's gotten much better. Like the second session was not nearly as bad. So to all those people who I de-influenced from getting laser hair removal, it's not as bad as I experienced in the first time.

• 49:09Corinne Vien?

Or just let, let your freak.

• 49:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Let your hair flow in the wind.

• 49:14Corinne Vien?

  Ooh, here comes my indigestion.

• 49:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Let your indigestion out.

• 49:19Corinne Vien?

  Yeah. Be who you are.

• 49:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Don't be ashamed.

• 49:23Corinne Vien?

Okay, so now you have one more on Patreon.

• 49:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

One more on Patreon, but if you have encounters, please email them to us at [email protected]. And yeah, if you too can say you're a zombie because you had a near death experience and came back, uh, please let us know. We'd, we'd love to get more emails from zombies.

• 49:43Corinne Vien?

Oh, so cool. You forever changed my perspective on that.

• 49:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right?

• 49:48Corinne Vien?

I've I guess our listener changed.

• 49:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 49:50Corinne Vien?

  Like you're, you're a zombie.

• 49:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I wish I could take credit for it, but yeah.

• 49:54Corinne Vien?

Okay, we'll see some of you over on Patreon. And for the rest of you.

• 49:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Losers, I'm kidding.

• 50:00Corinne Vien?

We'll see you in the pit.

• 50:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh, what door are you gonna pick?

• 50:04Corinne Vien?

We're gonna paint them all different colors. You never pick the right one.

• 50:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Just me making silly faces behind each of them. Scary.

• 50:11Corinne Vien?

It's us watching you win every laser hair removal session.

• 50:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  No, I silently scream inside.

• 50:19Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 50:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's not an external scream.

• 50:21Corinne Vien?

Okay. But we do love you.

• 50:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  We do.

• 50:22Corinne Vien?

And we will. See you on the other side.
