Fall never arrives all at once. First the air, then the light. And slowly, the things you love begin to find each other. A jacket meets a dress. A hoodie slips beneath a blazer. An old cap finds a new scarf. Because you don't simply step into the season. You create it, layer by layer. Until it finally feels like fall. Find fall your way, at Ross.

• 0:37Brooke Averick?

  Hello.

• 0:38Connor Wood?

  Hey guys.

• 0:38Brooke Averick?

I'm welcome to sunny West Virginia. I'm Brooke. I feel too drunk to be recording this.

• 0:42Connor Wood?

No, just like you're not, you've had one margarita. One margarita, I'm gonna open my legs.

• 0:47Brooke Averick?

I genuinely am gonna open my legs.

• 0:48Connor Wood?

That's what this song is about.

• 0:50Brooke Averick?

I'm kinda feeling like I'm gonna open my legs. I'm so scared I'm gonna open my legs.

• 0:56Connor Wood?

Okay, so we're in West Virginia right now. So as you can see from the genuine flash floods. Brooke's in her water shoes.

• 1:03Brooke Averick?

I'm in my waters. Tell everyone how I go in the water.

• 1:06Connor Wood?

You gonna go in the water in the parking lot? Alright.

• 1:09Brooke Averick?

You can do that if you want.

• 1:11Connor Wood?

I look like a massive fairy tale giant.

• 1:13Brooke Averick?

But basically, I just wanted to say, because we're in West Virginia, we were not able to record an episode this week, so we're showing you the pilot episode of Brooke and Connor that was never released. We have both decided that it's in our best interest not to relive and watch it. So we don't know what you're about to watch. We hope you like it.

• 1:36Connor Wood?

I think it's actually gonna be cool to see like how much we've all grown together. So, well, maybe.

• 1:42Brooke Averick?

And we will have a lot to update you on next week.

• 1:45Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:46Brooke Averick?

We have a great guest next week, and we also hope to give you some West Virginia.

• 1:52Connor Wood?

Yeah, it's, we have, it's an extensive docket of, of topics and new things that have not been talked about ever before, but the guest, I can't emphasize enough. How ex-

• 2:05Brooke Averick?

It's been lightning, I won't lie to you, there has been lightning.

• 2:09Connor Wood?

Yeah, I don't know if we'll even get home tomorrow.

• 2:11Brooke Averick?

  Um, don't say that.

• 2:12Connor Wood?

So, this young man that's just pulled up to take us away.

• 2:16Brooke Averick?

I think we should go back into tacos and tequila.

• 2:19Connor Wood?

We'll go back into the crew in here, but thank you guys for watching.

• 2:22Brooke Averick?

  Love you.

• 2:23Connor Wood?

Thanks for the patience. We'll be back in such a massive way. Next week.

• 2:28Brooke Averick?

  Hear that thunder?

• 2:29Connor Wood?

I hope you understand because you have to, and we'll see you.

• 2:32Brooke Averick?

  Next week.

• 2:33Connor Wood?

  We'll see you next week.

• 2:33Brooke Averick?

  Love you.

• 2:34Connor Wood?

  Love you guys, bye.

• 2:52Connor Wood?

  Hey Brock.

• 2:53Brooke Averick?

  Hi Connor.

• 2:54Connor Wood?

  What's up?

• 2:54Brooke Averick?

It's really nice to see you.

• 2:55Connor Wood?

It's so good to see you, especially in this, this lighting, this is extremely good.

• 3:02Brooke Averick?

I know, and it's so nice to be able to hear your voice.

• 3:04Connor Wood?

So crisp, like a honey, honey crisp.

• 3:06Brooke Averick?

You really have a gorgeous voice.

• 3:07Connor Wood?

  You do too.

• 3:08Brooke Averick?

  Thank you.

• 3:09Connor Wood?

Um, am I too close to the mic, or?

• 3:12Brooke Averick?

No, I think you're lovely. Yeah.

• 3:14Connor Wood?

  What's up? How's, how's, how's the Monday going?

• 3:17Brooke Averick?

Um, the Monday's good. I, something actually interesting happened to me this morning that's never happened to me, and you won't believe this. I woke up at 7 this morning, which is a big-

• 3:27Connor Wood?

  Whoa.

• 3:27Brooke Averick?

Yeah, different than the 10, usual wake up time, and I hiked Runyon.

• 3:31Connor Wood?

  Whoa.

• 3:32Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 3:34Connor Wood?

  Geez, why?

• 3:34Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Um, I don't, I can't answer that, and I don't think it'll ever happen again, and it's never happened before, but it is something that happened this morning.

• 3:42Connor Wood?

That's huge. You want to know it's huge in my life?

• 3:44Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 3:45Connor Wood?

And you haven't really said anything about it, it's my anniversary. Of getting hit by that car.

• 3:50Brooke Averick?

By that car. Yeah, how are you feeling?

• 3:52Connor Wood?

  Good, like time flies.

• 3:54Brooke Averick?

Yeah, well, I guess you want to dive into the story of when you got hit by the car for people who haven't heard it?

• 3:59Connor Wood?

Oh, I forgot. Not everybody's heard the story. I was just like on a bird scooter and I'm kind of barreling towards a four-way intersection and I couldn't figure out the brake. Um, and then I just got smashed into by like, I think it was a Toyota Corolla, which like normally I'd be like, "Okay, it's a Toyota Corolla. I feel like I could get hit by a Toyota Corolla and just..."

• 4:18Brooke Averick?

  And walk away.

• 4:19Connor Wood?

  Walk away.

• 4:20Brooke Averick?

  On skates.

• 4:20Connor Wood?

You'd be shocked at how, how the punch it can pack.

• 4:25Brooke Averick?

Well, I do feel like, I think it's like an invincibility complex. Like if I got hit by a car, I know I'd be completely fine.

• 4:32Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 4:33Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, but I-

• 4:34Connor Wood?

So when I was hemorrhaging, it was like a kind of a wake-up call.

• 4:37Brooke Averick?

  You were hemorrhaging?

• 4:38Connor Wood?

Yeah, I think so. I wouldn't know because I didn't go to the doctor, but my friends were like, "Yeah, that's a hemorrhage." I didn't have to wear a belt for like over a month because I, my hip was so swollen. You know, I was in the air for so long after getting smashed into by a Toyota Corolla.

• 4:54Brooke Averick?

Well, I feel like what part of your body did you hurt? Like what?

• 4:57Connor Wood?

  Just my right hip.

• 4:58Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 4:59Connor Wood?

  Because I landed on it.

• 5:00Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 5:00Connor Wood?

But I was in the air for so long. I got back on the bird.

• 5:03Brooke Averick?

Oh, and okay. And was there any conversation between you and the driver of the Toyota?

• 5:08Connor Wood?

Yeah, he said, "What the hell is wrong with you?" And I obviously apologized.

• 5:12Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 5:13Connor Wood?

Because that's just what I was-

• 5:14Brooke Averick?

  Because that's on you.

• 5:14Connor Wood?

  I was raised to do.

• 5:16Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 5:16Connor Wood?

To take responsibility for my actions.

• 5:19Connor Wood?

So yeah, I'm feeling pretty cool that like time flies when you're hemorrhaging.

• 5:22Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 5:23Connor Wood?

  That's what everybody says.

• 5:23Brooke Averick?

  That's what they say.

• 5:24Connor Wood?

And it's nice to be 100%.

• 5:26Brooke Averick?

Um, well, happy anniversary and I'm sorry I didn't wish that for you sooner. Um, so we're making a podcast.

• 5:32Connor Wood?

Yeah, we are. We're here. We're doing it.

• 5:34Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 5:35Connor Wood?

It's so exciting. Brooke and Connor.

• 5:37Brooke Averick?

  Make a podcast.

• 5:38Connor Wood?

  Make a podcast.

• 5:38Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, that's what's happening.

• 5:39Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 5:39Brooke Averick?

Um, okay, well, what should we talk about?

• 5:43Connor Wood?

  Well, there's-

• 5:43Brooke Averick?

  On the podcast?

• 5:44Connor Wood?

There's any number of things we can talk about. I say we jump right in. Um, I think the basis of our podcast, which we're figuring out is that Brooke and I have nothing in common at all.

• 5:54Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 5:54Connor Wood?

It's shocking that we get along, to be honest, because-

• 5:57Brooke Averick?

  Sometimes.

• 5:58Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 5:58Brooke Averick?

We do. Sometimes we don't, but I agree. There's, I can't really think of any interests that we have that align.

• 6:04Connor Wood?

Yeah, but I think it makes for a cool conversation, like- When we go through some stuff, I know that you and I kind of butt heads a little bit with, uh, like Taylor Swift just came out with some stuff.

• 6:15Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 6:16Connor Wood?

Which I have some opinions on.

• 6:17Brooke Averick?

  And so do I.

• 6:18Connor Wood?

Yeah, what are your opinions on it?

• 6:19Brooke Averick?

  I mean, it's brilliant.

• 6:20Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 6:21Brooke Averick?

Like, beyond brilliant and just a heads up to everybody, um, I did end up leaving a group chat that Connor was a part of this weekend because he had some not so great things to say about Taylor's All Too Well 10 Minute Version.

• 6:34Connor Wood?

To me, it's just like crazy when, like, people can't even have opinions on it because...

• 6:39Brooke Averick?

You, you know, I usually respect your opinions, of course, and I always will. This, I don't see anything to respect about what you said.

• 6:47Connor Wood?

  What did I say?

• 6:48Brooke Averick?

You said that it wasn't good.

• 6:49Connor Wood?

  No, I didn't say that.

• 6:50Brooke Averick?

You did 100%. That's worse than not good.

• 6:53Connor Wood?

Nothing needs to be 10 minutes.

• 6:55Brooke Averick?

I would want this to be 15, if possible at all, in any way.

• 7:01Brooke Averick?

What didn't you like about it?

• 7:02Connor Wood?

It doesn't need to be 10 minutes.

• 7:04Brooke Averick?

  I don't understand why you're saying that.

• 7:06Connor Wood?

Well, here's the deal. So, I've heard the song. I like the All Too Well. I love the, I love it.

• 7:11Brooke Averick?

  You know what it's about?

• 7:12Connor Wood?

  It wrecked me.

• 7:12Brooke Averick?

Like, do you get it in any way?

• 7:14Connor Wood?

I totally get it. It's about...

• 7:15Brooke Averick?

  What's it about?

• 7:16Connor Wood?

Brooke, it's about a three-month relationship that was 12 years ago, from my understanding, and someone seems to be harboring some resentment instead of going to therapy, which like...

• 7:26Brooke Averick?

  Not resentment, she's processing.

• 7:29Connor Wood?

  You know what?

• 7:31Brooke Averick?

  You...

• 7:32Connor Wood?

It should take 10 minutes to process.

• 7:33Brooke Averick?

  I'm, I'm getting the feeling...

• 7:34Connor Wood?

You shouldn't write a song about it.

• 7:36Brooke Averick?

That, so the song is about Jake Gyllenhaal?

• 7:38Connor Wood?

Yeah, why don't you break it down for me and then I'll, I'll share what I think.

• 7:41Brooke Averick?

I'm feeling like you align with Jake.

• 7:43Connor Wood?

Well, this is gonna get me in like a lot of trouble. I don't...

• 7:45Brooke Averick?

And it should, and you deserve it.

• 7:46Connor Wood?

No, I just think that after watching the short film, which like, was not, again, it was 10 minutes, it's like hardly a short film, I just feel like a little bit on Team Jake.

• 8:01Brooke Averick?

You're making me feel sick, Connor. I don't...

• 8:05Connor Wood?

You came into this room with a stomach ache, so I, I'm not taking your responsibility for making you feel sick.

• 8:10Brooke Averick?

  I just, okay.

• 8:12Connor Wood?

  What'd you have for breakfast?

• 8:12Brooke Averick?

I told you. Oh, sorry. I guess I didn't tell the podcast scrambled eggs and you know they make me feel sick, but...

• 8:17Connor Wood?

It's gross. Like, why would you do that?

• 8:19Brooke Averick?

But I'm just like... I guess it makes sense to me that you are aligning with you.

• 8:25Connor Wood?

  Okay, so.

• 8:25Brooke Averick?

You basically gaslit her for three months, and that's hard to get over.

• 8:28Connor Wood?

  I.

• 8:28Brooke Averick?

I guess is something that you wouldn't.

• 8:30Connor Wood?

I understand, and do you mind if I chime in?

• 8:33Brooke Averick?

No, not at all. Go ahead.

• 8:34Connor Wood?

Really quick to gaslight you. I think that, um, like, I can break down. I watch. It's not like I'm not doing my research, and I'm allowed to have opinions.

• 8:41Brooke Averick?

  I wish you didn't watch.

• 8:42Connor Wood?

When I, when I, when I watch, when I watch Sadie Sink.

• 8:45Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 8:46Connor Wood?

Interacting with Dylan O'Brien. Great casting, by the way. I think that they.

• 8:49Brooke Averick?

  Phenomenal.

• 8:50Connor Wood?

Encapsulate, like, Tumblr in 2008. I, you know, there, there they are. So, here they are. I think it's a great casting. I think, like, it's so brutal that Taylor Swift would cast someone that literally looks like Jake Gyllenhaal from when they dated.

• 9:06Brooke Averick?

  Why? He deserves it.

• 9:08Connor Wood?

  Okay, bro, hang on. So.

• 9:10Brooke Averick?

  Do you think he doesn't?

• 9:10Connor Wood?

There's one specific scene in the, in the short film. That, like, a lot of, are you gonna cry? Are you crying?

• 9:16Brooke Averick?

  No, I just don't understand.

• 9:19Connor Wood?

Your eyes are kinda welling. I'm sorry. Look, we can move on, but.

• 9:21Brooke Averick?

  No, I, no, no.

• 9:22Connor Wood?

I just wanna say, the one thing that really stuck with me about this, and again, I did my research. It's not like I'm just like, oh, I hate Taylor Swift. I like Taylor Swift.

• 9:28Brooke Averick?

And you like the three-minute version?

• 9:30Connor Wood?

I like the, I love the three, you know what? The three-minute version rocked my world almost as much as that Toyota Corolla that smashed into me on the Bird scooter.

• 9:37Brooke Averick?

  And happy anniversary. But.

• 9:39Connor Wood?

I, what I wanted to say is, when I watch this video, they're in love. It's sweet. And then they go to this dinner.

• 9:45Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 9:45Connor Wood?

Right? And my understanding at this dinner is that it's his friends that he hasn't seen in how long?

• 9:51Brooke Averick?

  He drops her hand.

• 9:53Connor Wood?

  If, if you.

• 9:54Brooke Averick?

  Right?

• 9:55Connor Wood?

If you, if you were coming to a dinner with me, and I haven't seen.

• 9:59Brooke Averick?

And I held your hand, you would drop it.

• 10:01Connor Wood?

  This is a blanket statement.

• 10:02Brooke Averick?

  You would drop my hand.

• 10:02Connor Wood?

Well, you know I don't like being touched, but I.

• 10:04Brooke Averick?

  I know, but.

• 10:04Connor Wood?

I, if I went to this dinner, and I haven't seen my college friends in 10 years, say, that's a, like, if these are my best friends, and you're like, what about me? I'd be like, stop.

• 10:15Brooke Averick?

She didn't say what about, she reached for his hand, of course. She's 10 years younger than all, she's 10 years younger than all these people.

• 10:21Connor Wood?

  And she's acting like it.

• 10:22Brooke Averick?

He's saying, come meet me. You're sick. Of course she's acting like it. She is 10 years younger.

• 10:29Connor Wood?

  This is just not productive.

• 10:31Brooke Averick?

I mean, are we... But like, you... So you condone the hand dropping?

• 10:34Connor Wood?

No, I think that he could have been like, "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, like, I didn't realize he did that."

• 10:39Brooke Averick?

But he did after 10 minutes of full gaslighting her about it.

• 10:43Connor Wood?

Okay, cool. So I see a full-blown, like, they've come to terms, they're cool, they're dancing in the middle of the night in the refrigerator light.

• 10:51Brooke Averick?

We're on the same page about that.

• 10:52Connor Wood?

They've moved on. So I don't understand the resentment that's been harbored.

• 10:55Brooke Averick?

I think it was just like, constant over and over, things like that, you know? Do you see what I'm saying at all?

• 11:02Connor Wood?

  I just think that a lot can happen. A 20-year-old shouldn't be dating a 30-year-old. I'll just say that. Like, that's just...

• 11:11Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 11:12Connor Wood?

You're not gonna see eye to eye.

• 11:12Brooke Averick?

  It's two to tango, right?

• 11:13Connor Wood?

You can't clap with one hand, I do agree. But I don't think he's harboring anything. I think he's fully moved on.

• 11:18Brooke Averick?

Right, and that's what's even sad.

• 11:19Connor Wood?

  I actually saw...

• 11:19Brooke Averick?

Because the whole song is like, "Okay, I was there, like, this is what I experienced. Did you not?"

• 11:24Connor Wood?

  Here's what I feel.

• 11:25Brooke Averick?

  And it's like, he didn't.

• 11:25Connor Wood?

I feel that when you're 20 years old, and you've told a story, like, you're just gonna remember it how you remember it. That's your new reality.

• 11:33Brooke Averick?

And that's how she's remembering it.

• 11:34Connor Wood?

Totally. I just read a tweet, actually. I'm not shitting on it at all. Um, "You're gonna remember your reality of this podcast very different than I do." I feel totally at terms with the OG song. I did read a tweet that, like, years later, this girl on Twitter was interning for Jake Gyllenhaal, and his... He turned his apartment into office space. Like, that bugs me a little bit. That's weird.

• 11:59Brooke Averick?

  And he was playing Taylor.

• 12:00Connor Wood?

  Taylor Swift.

• 12:01Brooke Averick?

  Right, just like casually.

• 12:01Connor Wood?

That's why. Guess who's totally fine and guess who's dwelling on it.

• 12:05Brooke Averick?

To me, that's what makes it worse, that he's like, "Okay, whatever." And she's 13 years later, like...

• 12:11Connor Wood?

Do you think she goes to therapy?

• 12:12Brooke Averick?

Of course. I think we all should. I think Jake should, too.

• 12:17Connor Wood?

Why? Because he's fine. You want him to feel bad.

• 12:21Brooke Averick?

Of course I do. Right. I think, is that where we're

• 12:25Connor Wood?

Alright, you know what I don't know about? I don't get the red scarf.

• 12:29Brooke Averick?

Okay, well she, the first time they met, they were upstate, and like right away, you were saying it was three months?

• 12:35Connor Wood?

  Upstate? What state?

• 12:36Brooke Averick?

New York, upstate New York. And he already took her to meet his family, Maggie Gyllenhaal is the sister in this case, and she left her scarf there. And there's two different veins of theories on the scarf that I'm seeing. One is that it's a real scarf, and I'm seeing like on Dumas, like people are trying, somebody actually has the scarf, and they're trying to get it. Am I screaming at you right now?

• 13:00Connor Wood?

  No, you're sounding awesome.

• 13:01Brooke Averick?

Aww, but someone's actually trying to get the actual physical scarf back to Taylor. And then, what I'm seeing on TikTok is that the scarf is her virginity, that she left at his sister's house.

• 13:16Brooke Averick?

  What do you think?

• 13:17Connor Wood?

I just think it's dumb. Once again, like I feel like, like, it's

• 13:22Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 13:23Connor Wood?

A scarf from 10 years ago.

• 13:26Brooke Averick?

Well, yeah, and he still has it.

• 13:28Connor Wood?

  He doesn't.

• 13:29Brooke Averick?

He, my, you don't, he did have it for a bit, for sure.

• 13:35Connor Wood?

Think about something that you've lost, like, like a sweatshirt or something, like.

• 13:41Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 13:41Connor Wood?

  I don't know. I just think that, like, she's think, she's, she's really just

• 13:44Brooke Averick?

Well, she didn't lose it, he kept it.

• 13:48Connor Wood?

  What's the lyrics?

• 13:49Brooke Averick?

  Uh, I left my scarf

• 13:50Connor Wood?

I left my scarf at your sister's house.

• 13:52Brooke Averick?

And you still have it in your drawer even now.

• 13:54Connor Wood?

  How does she know that?

• 13:56Brooke Averick?

I, well, now I'm confused because

• 13:57Connor Wood?

Maggie Gyllenhaal doesn't know shit about this scarf.

• 14:00Brooke Averick?

Right, but now I'm confused because if they're trying to get it back to someone, I guess he doesn't have it.

• 14:04Connor Wood?

There's a lot of, you know.

• 14:05Brooke Averick?

  Then it's her virginity.

• 14:07Connor Wood?

  Well.

• 14:07Brooke Averick?

  Right?

• 14:08Connor Wood?

  I don't know.

• 14:09Brooke Averick?

Okay. Okay, and you didn't like the short film?

• 14:12Connor Wood?

I did, I thought it was fine.

• 14:15Brooke Averick?

Okay. You're ready to move on.

• 14:17Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 14:17Brooke Averick?

  Okay, that's fine.

• 14:18Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 14:19Brooke Averick?

  Let's do it.

• 14:19Connor Wood?

Um, anyways, I, I don't hate the song, it's just like hard.

• 14:24Connor Wood?

Hmm. That's like, I'm trying to think, like, Sugar were going on Swing, like, if they made a 10 minute version of that.

• 14:32Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 14:33Connor Wood?

Like, I don't need it. Like, I really liked the first one, and like, that's enough. And if I want to hear it for 10 minutes, I'll just put it on repeat.

• 14:41Brooke Averick?

Because it's telling a story, and she's adding more to the story.

• 14:44Connor Wood?

I can appreciate lyrics that have been released. What I will say is that, like, she wrote this 10 years ago. I want to hear her sing it from when she was feeling it 10 years ago, because now I'm like...

• 14:57Brooke Averick?

Well, I think that's even, you know, the whole concept of the vault is like, she doesn't touch her old songs. So it's like, that's really how she was feeling.

• 15:05Connor Wood?

She was a theater kid, wasn't she?

• 15:06Brooke Averick?

I don't know. We could ask her.

• 15:10Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 15:11Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 15:11Connor Wood?

  At some point.

• 15:12Brooke Averick?

Okay, well, I just think the reason that people get so, like, emotional, I mean, I would never be emotional, because I don't operate on...

• 15:20Connor Wood?

  I saw you tear up.

• 15:21Brooke Averick?

I'm very chill. But I just think the people that get emotional think that, like, you know, you're siding with Jake in this experience, and so many girls relate to what Taylor's going through, you know?

• 15:33Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 15:34Brooke Averick?

  Okay, moving on.

• 15:35Connor Wood?

Okay. Um, so, what I like about this show and how it's gonna roll through is that we can talk about Taylor Swift, and we can switch gears, and then I can mansplain NFTs to you.

• 15:48Brooke Averick?

Yeah, that's something I've been looking forward to.

• 15:51Connor Wood?

Right. So you woke up, like, ready to crank out some NFT chat. What is, what do you think an NFT is?

• 15:59Brooke Averick?

I was gonna ask, do you mind really quickly?

• 16:01Connor Wood?

Can you just, because I know that I've talked about it to you.

• 16:04Brooke Averick?

Right, for sure. You have talked about them to me.

• 16:06Connor Wood?

To you. Yeah, and I apologize for that. I wouldn't want to take Jalen Hall.

• 16:10Brooke Averick?

Seriously, no problem. Okay, I can tell you what I think. NFT, national, it's finance, it's money. National Financial Trusting. Trust, right. What is?

• 16:24Connor Wood?

  No.

• 16:24Brooke Averick?

  What is it?

• 16:25Connor Wood?

It's not that. It is a non-fungible token.

• 16:29Brooke Averick?

  Non-fungible?

• 16:30Connor Wood?

  Funge.

• 16:30Brooke Averick?

  Non-fungible token.

• 16:32Connor Wood?

  G, there's a G in it.

• 16:33Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 16:33Connor Wood?

Um, and what does that mean, you ask? I'll tell you exactly what it means. A non-fungible token means that, like, you can't, it's not tradable, like, it's like, unique. I'm not gonna be able to explain it.

• 16:46Brooke Averick?

  Try.

• 16:49Speaker 00

Fall never arrives all at once. First the air, then the light. And slowly, the things you love begin to find each other. A jacket meets a dress. A hoodie slips beneath a blazer. An old cap finds a new scarf. Because you don't simply step into the season. You create it, layer by layer. Until it finally feels like fall. Find fall your way at Ross.

• 17:17Connor Wood?

That's what I'm saying. No, like, it's not like... Am I right? Or does... It sucks because I'm gonna... Yeah, so it's... Yeah, yeah, yeah. A unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a digital... On blockchain. And blockchain would be like a Bitcoin. You can trade a Bitcoin for another Bitcoin. Or some shit like that.

• 17:37Brooke Averick?

  So... Why would anyone care?

• 17:40Connor Wood?

So, apparently... So, it's essentially, it's the future. It's the future.

• 17:44Brooke Averick?

  It's the future?

• 17:45Connor Wood?

Yeah. So... Any questions so far with this?

• 17:50Brooke Averick?

I mean, I guess just like where I'm confused is like, what is the point? And why you would care?

• 17:57Connor Wood?

  So...

• 17:57Brooke Averick?

And what you do with it?

• 17:58Connor Wood?

  I'm gonna keep going.

• 17:59Brooke Averick?

And if you can't trade it?

• 18:00Connor Wood?

  I confirm that people...

• 18:01Brooke Averick?

What do you do with it? Just look at it?

• 18:05Brooke Averick?

  Is it a coin?

• 18:06Connor Wood?

Oh, my gosh. No, it's not a coin. An NFT. Shit. I'm not gonna... Anyways, let's move on. Let's talk about getting beat.

• 18:18Connor Wood?

Basically, Brooke, like... Basically, like, I would just say, keep an eye on the space.

• 18:22Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 18:23Connor Wood?

Because this, like, I own Ethereum, which is like another form of blockchain, which is like... Like, it's like Bitcoin, but like a different... It's a decentralized currency.

• 18:33Brooke Averick?

  This is scary, culty.

• 18:35Connor Wood?

It is a little scary, to be honest. And the reason I got into it is, you know that I have anxiety.

• 18:40Brooke Averick?

  Well, yeah.

• 18:42Connor Wood?

So, like, I got anxiety about feeling left out of this and missing out.

• 18:46Brooke Averick?

  FOMO.

• 18:47Connor Wood?

Right, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I have. And so, I got a little bit panic vibes, a panic attack vibes, where I was like... People are saying this is the future.

• 18:56Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 18:57Connor Wood?

All my friends that are huge douchebags are just like, full, all in on this. And I'm like...

• 19:04Connor Wood?

I need to, I need to participate.

• 19:06Brooke Averick?

For no other reason than you would have been sad to miss out.

• 19:10Connor Wood?

I couldn't miss out on this.

• 19:12Brooke Averick?

I get it. And so what's your non-fungible token doing right now?

• 19:14Connor Wood?

  I don't own, I don't own any NFTs.

• 19:16Brooke Averick?

Oh, you own a, over, a ravium? What'd you say?

• 19:23Connor Wood?

We'll get there, we'll get there, we'll get there. Okay. In the meantime, I'm gonna circle, let's circle back, let's touch base on that. Let's offline about that.

• 19:29Brooke Averick?

  Okay. We'll chat, we'll, we'll flack.

• 19:31Connor Wood?

We'll chat, we'll chat NFTs. Um, I'll fudge your token off camera in a little bit.

• 19:37Brooke Averick?

Okay. Speaking of Kim and Pete.

• 19:39Connor Wood?

  Um, yeah.

• 19:41Brooke Averick?

So Kim and Pete have been seen a few times in New York.

• 19:44Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 19:44Brooke Averick?

  Started on SNL.

• 19:45Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 19:45Brooke Averick?

You know, they kissed in that one Aladdin skit.

• 19:47Connor Wood?

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Oh, I have, I have something I wanna say.

• 19:51Brooke Averick?

  Say it.

• 19:53Connor Wood?

So this is like big time NDA vibes? But I don't, I don't know if anyone's gonna hear. It started before SNL because I have a friend that goes to the same, um, Pete Davidson has really bad acne and back knee.

• 20:08Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 20:08Connor Wood?

Yeah, so he sees my friend's esthetician.

• 20:11Brooke Averick?

  Uh huh.

• 20:12Connor Wood?

And he basically goes in there and spills all the beans every time he goes in.

• 20:17Brooke Averick?

  Is your friend his esthetician?

• 20:19Connor Wood?

No, my friend goes to his esthetician.

• 20:23Brooke Averick?

  Oh my god.

• 20:24Connor Wood?

Yeah, she, she goes, and I don't even know if I wanna share this. She goes, um, and the front desk girl, Pete goes in regularly.

• 20:34Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 20:34Connor Wood?

For his acne, and he basically is like, I have been hooking him with him for like a while.

• 20:39Brooke Averick?

Whoa. That, but they seem so like, like they didn't know each other at all on SNL.

• 20:46Connor Wood?

Sorry to, sorry to do moi this, this thing, but he was also hooking with a Bridgerton girl at the same time as Kim.

• 20:53Brooke Averick?

  At the same time?

• 20:54Connor Wood?

And she was supposed to come in to, uh, His native village of New York City.

• 21:00Brooke Averick?

  Right, of Staten Island.

• 21:01Connor Wood?

Of Pete Davidson's Staten Island native village. Because no one else lives there besides Pete Davidson or has ever lived there as far as I'm concerned or know. And she was flying in. What's her name on Bridgerton?

• 21:12Brooke Averick?

  Oh, Lord S.

• 21:13Connor Wood?

  Not Phoebe Bridgers.

• 21:15Brooke Averick?

Um, uh, Duke, the Duchess. The Duchess, of course.

• 21:19Connor Wood?

  What's her name?

• 21:20Brooke Averick?

The Duchess of, in real life, Phoebe something.

• 21:22Connor Wood?

  No.

• 21:23Brooke Averick?

  I swear, it's Phoebe.

• 21:25Connor Wood?

  That's her?

• 21:25Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 21:26Connor Wood?

  Phoebe?

• 21:27Brooke Averick?

  Phoebe.

• 21:28Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 21:28Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 21:29Connor Wood?

  Something.

• 21:29Brooke Averick?

Exactly. And, and you know I don't have, you know I don't have my classes.

• 21:34Connor Wood?

I don't think it's our place to say it.

• 21:35Brooke Averick?

And the listeners will know. We've given them enough context clues to know.

• 21:38Connor Wood?

  And it's not Phoebe Bridgers.

• 21:40Brooke Averick?

That we're talking about Phoebe from Bridgerton.

• 21:42Connor Wood?

  Phoebe D.

• 21:43Brooke Averick?

  Phoebe D.

• 21:44Connor Wood?

  Let's call her Phoebe D.

• 21:45Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 21:45Connor Wood?

  Since that's her name.

• 21:46Brooke Averick?

  That's fine.

• 21:46Connor Wood?

  I think-

• 21:47Brooke Averick?

But that's, I don't agree. I don't think Pete would do that at all.

• 21:50Connor Wood?

No, well, I mean, it was like a fun thing for Kim.

• 21:52Brooke Averick?

They weren't exclusive. But was he exclusive with Phoebe Bridg- Phoebe when he was-

• 21:56Connor Wood?

  Phoebe Bridgerton.

• 21:57Brooke Averick?

Phoebe when he was doing that?

• 21:58Connor Wood?

No. So she knew that he was working with Kim.

• 22:00Brooke Averick?

Oh, and she was like, that's completely fine.

• 22:02Connor Wood?

She was scared Kim was gonna be around and like, didn't wanna cross paths.

• 22:07Brooke Averick?

And you're getting this from your friend's esthetician?

• 22:09Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 22:11Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 22:12Connor Wood?

  I trust, I trust estheticians.

• 22:13Brooke Averick?

I know you do, but I'm gonna take it with a grain of salt because I think Pete is a one-woman show. I think he's a really good guy.

• 22:19Connor Wood?

You think that Vampire is a one-woman show?

• 22:21Brooke Averick?

  I think he's a sweetheart.

• 22:23Connor Wood?

  No.

• 22:24Brooke Averick?

And I saw something that was like, oh my god, why is Pete getting all of these girls? It's crazy. And you know what? Someone was like, have you ever thought he's a really good personality?

• 22:31Connor Wood?

I have another thing to say, but I shouldn't say it because it's not my place to say it. I'm just like-

• 22:35Brooke Averick?

  You can.

• 22:36Connor Wood?

I'm gonna leave it up to the imagination.

• 22:39Brooke Averick?

Uh, is, I think I know exactly what you're talking about.

• 22:43Connor Wood?

And it's not what you think it is.

• 22:44Brooke Averick?

It is. Is it that he's a big dick? Oh, then I don't know, actually.

• 22:48Connor Wood?

He's got a big pile of money down there.

• 22:49Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 22:50Connor Wood?

  Yep.

• 22:51Brooke Averick?

  In his mom's basement?

• 22:53Connor Wood?

  No.

• 22:56Connor Wood?

Anyways, so basically, um, he was hooking with Kim and so now they're, they're exclusive now.

• 23:02Brooke Averick?

  Him and Kim?

• 23:02Connor Wood?

Yeah, but before SNL, that kiss on SNL-

• 23:06Brooke Averick?

  Was their fir-

• 23:07Connor Wood?

Was not their first kiss, which like a lot of people were-

• 23:10Brooke Averick?

  That's the first kiss.

• 23:11Connor Wood?

  It's not.

• 23:13Brooke Averick?

Okay, I mean, I would need to hear more about it.

• 23:16Connor Wood?

Okay, call Kenzie after the show.

• 23:18Brooke Averick?

  Okay, I'll call Kenzie.

• 23:19Connor Wood?

But I, that's just all I have to say on that.

• 23:22Brooke Averick?

Okay, so that's the origin, and, well, what do you think about it?

• 23:25Connor Wood?

  I think it's weird.

• 23:26Brooke Averick?

  Why?

• 23:28Connor Wood?

Because he, to me, like, Kim has like, how many kids now?

• 23:33Brooke Averick?

  Four.

• 23:33Connor Wood?

  Nine? Four.

• 23:34Brooke Averick?

  Four. Can you name them?

• 23:37Connor Wood?

  Um, yeah. North-

• 23:40Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 23:40Connor Wood?

  South, east-

• 23:42Brooke Averick?

Ooh, that's never been done before. Pat yourself on the back for that one.

• 23:47Connor Wood?

  Um- Great family.

• 23:49Brooke Averick?

  It's north, Saint, Chicago-

• 23:53Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 23:54Brooke Averick?

And Psalm. Is that how you say that word? I don't think they have those in Jewish.

• 23:58Connor Wood?

Yeah, but it's in the Bible.

• 24:00Brooke Averick?

It's in the Bible, yeah, yeah. Okay.

• 24:02Connor Wood?

Very, like, a biblical family. It was at Chicago.

• 24:04Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, shy, yeah. Um-

• 24:07Connor Wood?

  Cool, though.

• 24:08Brooke Averick?

But here's what I think. Basically, I love it because I think I do, I think Kim's got a heart of gold, really.

• 24:13Connor Wood?

  I think so, too.

• 24:14Brooke Averick?

Heart of gold. And I love Pete, but what I will say, and you've heard me say this multiple times, and this is something I'll always cry about after I have one or two drinks, is that funny guys-

• 24:25Connor Wood?

Yeah, I know where you're going with this.

• 24:27Brooke Averick?

Can get the Kim Kardashians of the world.

• 24:29Connor Wood?

That's written on my mirror in my bathroom.

• 24:32Brooke Averick?

  And funny girls-

• 24:33Connor Wood?

  Girls like funny guys.

• 24:34Brooke Averick?

No. Funny girls don't get the Kim Kardashians of the world at all.

• 24:41Connor Wood?

Why don't you change that narrative?

• 24:42Brooke Averick?

I can't. It would take years and years and redefining the social structure of-

• 24:49Connor Wood?

  It's shattering some glass ceilings.

• 24:51Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 24:52Connor Wood?

  With jokes.

• 24:52Brooke Averick?

I would have to remake the world.

• 24:54Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 24:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 24:56Connor Wood?

  I believe in you.

• 24:57Brooke Averick?

I, I mean, I can't do it alone, but I guess this is my plea to everyone-

• 25:02Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 25:03Brooke Averick?

  To reinvent the wheel.

• 25:04Connor Wood?

That's not, that was like the wrong-

• 25:08Brooke Averick?

  Phrase?

• 25:08Connor Wood?

Phrase. Reinventing the wheel would be just like doing the exact same thing we do with-

• 25:11Brooke Averick?

Well, everyone knew what I meant.

• 25:14Brooke Averick?

Okay, so moral of the story is that I am pro Kim and Pete, but it does bring light, bring to light that issue.

• 25:21Connor Wood?

Yeah, cause what like, who else, like John Mulaney?

• 25:24Brooke Averick?

  John Mulaney's with Olivia Munn.

• 25:25Connor Wood?

  Who's Nick Kroll with?

• 25:26Brooke Averick?

Nick Kroll actually has like a beautiful, sweet wholesome wife.

• 25:30Connor Wood?

  Did you call his?

• 25:33Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 25:33Connor Wood?

Did, wait, so I was like Olivia Munn?

• 25:36Brooke Averick?

Oh, I'm not implying that everyone else isn't wholesome and beautiful and gorgeous, but she's just like not known. She's like a landscape artist, like not like Olivia Monarch, Kim Kardashian, not like a signed model.

• 25:46Connor Wood?

  That's pretty cool.

• 25:47Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 25:47Connor Wood?

Who else? There's like other people that are dating.

• 25:50Brooke Averick?

  Literally everyone.

• 25:51Connor Wood?

  Kyle Mooney's.

• 25:52Brooke Averick?

I don't actually know what, I have a big thing for all the SNL guys, but I don't, they're very private about their relationships.

• 25:59Connor Wood?

  Colin Jost.

• 25:59Brooke Averick?

Scarlett Johansson, of course. Yeah, I mean, the examples are endless, truly.

• 26:06Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 26:06Brooke Averick?

Yeah, and then give me a funny female comedian and I'll tell you.

• 26:11Brooke Averick?

Like Amy Schumer would be married to Chris Evans if it were.

• 26:15Connor Wood?

  If it was.

• 26:16Brooke Averick?

  If it was.

• 26:17Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 26:18Brooke Averick?

Yeah, you know what I'm saying? And she's not.

• 26:23Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 26:24Connor Wood?

  That sucks.

• 26:24Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. Okay.

• 26:26Connor Wood?

I think it's time we maybe switch gears.

• 26:29Brooke Averick?

  That's fine.

• 26:30Connor Wood?

And have like a little bit of an interjection here, and I think that maybe we could prank all your dad.

• 26:37Brooke Averick?

Okay, well, I, now I'm feeling silly because I was supposed to text him and say, do you mind if I call you in an hour? Because this is around the time he recently bought like a bike, not a Peloton, but something, and he goes, he travels the world on it, like it's stationary. It's not a Peloton, but it's just like a stationary bike and he like will go somewhere new every day for hours and he doesn't stop talking about it, but I'm, I fear that he's on his bike, but I'm gonna give him a call.

• 27:00Connor Wood?

  His stationary bike?

• 27:00Brooke Averick?

His stationary bike traveling the world. But I'm gonna give him a call and try that, are you familiar with the oil changing prank that's viral on TikTok?

• 27:09Connor Wood?

Yeah, well, do you want to break it down?

• 27:10Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I'll break it down. Basically, usually a girl in most situations calls their dad. Or any, or boyfriend or whatever, and says that she just got charged $500 for an oil change in addition to a few hundred bucks for premium air in her tires. Um, so I'm gonna go ahead and try that on my dad.

• 27:28Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 27:28Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I think that'd be really funny.

• 27:30Connor Wood?

I did, I did it and some girl DM'd me and was like, "This is for girls."

• 27:34Brooke Averick?

I, I do think that it plays into the patriarchy a bit.

• 27:37Connor Wood?

Yeah, right. Like, I don't know how to do any of that. I get scammed at the mechanic.

• 27:42Brooke Averick?

  And you do, yeah.

• 27:43Connor Wood?

  Every single time I go.

• 27:44Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 27:45Connor Wood?

  That's a universal experience.

• 27:46Brooke Averick?

That is a universal truth of getting scammed. Okay, guys, do I just call on my phone right now? Okay.

• 27:54Connor Wood?

  Oh, shoot, that scared me.

• 28:01Connor Wood?

I put it closer to the mic.

• 28:07Brooke Averick?

  Hey, Dad.

• 28:08Speaker 04

Hey, Daddy, I'm on the bike.

• 28:09Brooke Averick?

Oh, you're on your bike? Can I just ask you a real quick question? I'm at the mechanic and they just charged me 500 for an oil change? I swear, I swear. 500 for an oil change and then an additional 200 for, for premium air in my tires? Am I, what's? No.

• 28:31Speaker 04

Premium air? What the fuck is that? What is it? No, that's bullshit. Oil changes are 60, 80 bucks.

• 28:35Brooke Averick?

Really? So I just got scammed, huh?

• 28:38Speaker 04

  Yeah, you did.

• 28:39Brooke Averick?

Okay, well, what do I do?

• 28:42Speaker 04

Go back here and speak to the manager.

• 28:44Brooke Averick?

  I can't do that.

• 28:45Speaker 04

Yes, you can. And I would like to send me a copy of that bill.

• 28:49Brooke Averick?

Okay. Well, can you, well, can you talk to the manager?

• 28:53Speaker 04

I will talk to my, send me the bill.

• 28:54Brooke Averick?

Send you the bill? Okay, I'll send you the bill. Okay, love you. Bye.

• 29:02Connor Wood?

Wait, he's like not, he's not, he's not fucking around.

• 29:05Brooke Averick?

He was on the bike, of course.

• 29:07Connor Wood?

He was like, what the fuck?

• 29:08Brooke Averick?

I know. He was on the bike.

• 29:09Connor Wood?

  Should I try my parents?

• 29:10Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, please.

• 29:13Connor Wood?

My mom called me twice this morning.

• 29:15Brooke Averick?

Oh god, did you call back?

• 29:16Connor Wood?

Hell no. You wanna see the text she sent me this morning?

• 29:19Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 29:20Connor Wood?

4:51 a.m. She texts me a link to ancient tales of wisdom correcting one's wrongdoings, changing one's fate. What could that even be about? And the image is like an ancient Chinese scroll.

• 29:37Brooke Averick?

  Did you respond?

• 29:38Connor Wood?

No, what do I say to that?

• 29:40Brooke Averick?

I just emphasize all the links that my mom sends me.

• 29:43Connor Wood?

And then yesterday, 4:47 a.m. Link to healthline.com benefits of pineapple juice.

• 29:51Brooke Averick?

  I saw that recently too.

• 29:52Connor Wood?

  I don't know that text.

• 29:53Brooke Averick?

  You don't like pineapple juice?

• 29:54Connor Wood?

No, but you know the benefits of pineapple juice.

• 29:56Brooke Averick?

  I actually do.

• 29:56Connor Wood?

I don't think that text from my mom.

• 29:57Brooke Averick?

I think there's more than that, what you're thinking of.

• 30:02Brooke Averick?

Like health benefits, it's worth a try.

• 30:04Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 30:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 30:06Connor Wood?

  Alright.

• 30:07Brooke Averick?

  Okay, give her a ring.

• 30:07Connor Wood?

Okay, should I call my mom or my dad?

• 30:11Brooke Averick?

  Dad, maybe.

• 30:11Connor Wood?

My dad and your dad, I don't think are going to have the same, um, thing. Okay, here we go.

• 30:31Speaker 04

  Hey buddy.

• 30:31Connor Wood?

Hey, really quick, I'm at the mechanic.

• 30:35Speaker 04

  You're where?

• 30:35Connor Wood?

  I'm at the mechanic.

• 30:37Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 30:37Connor Wood?

Um, you know how I got my oil changed the other day?

• 30:40Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 30:41Connor Wood?

  They said-

• 30:42Speaker 04

  I don't know.

• 30:42Connor Wood?

Oh, well, they charged me 500 bucks.

• 30:45Speaker 04

  For what?

• 30:46Connor Wood?

  The oil change.

• 30:48Speaker 04

  Where'd you have it done?

• 30:49Connor Wood?

The mechanic, this is the dealership.

• 30:53Speaker 04

No, there's no such thing as a 500 dollar oil change.

• 30:56Connor Wood?

That's what it was, and they charged me an additional 200 because they put, they filled my tires up. And they said it was premium air.

• 31:05Speaker 04

They put nitrogen in, which you didn't need.

• 31:08Connor Wood?

  Oh shoot.

• 31:08Speaker 04

  That wouldn't even be $200.

• 31:10Connor Wood?

  What do you think?

• 31:12Speaker 04

But what, I mean, no, it's, no, I mean, there should have been, I mean, I've never heard of, I mean, you can bring your frigging Lamborghini in for frigging $300 and have your oil changed.

• 31:26Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 31:27Speaker 04

I have moms, I mean, I get my truck done all the time down at Toyota and it's like 90 bucks.

• 31:33Connor Wood?

Okay, alright. I gotta go have a word, I guess, with the manager.

• 31:38Speaker 04

Exactly. So, you know, look on the site and see what the oil change is and say, hey, I came in for an oil change. I didn't ask for any of this shit.

• 31:44Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 31:45Speaker 04

I didn't ask for this shit.

• 31:46Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 31:46Speaker 04

So, and stand up for yourself. That pisses me off.

• 31:49Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 31:50Speaker 04

  Alright buddy.

• 31:50Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 31:51Speaker 04

  Love you.

• 31:51Connor Wood?

  Love you. Thank you, bye.

• 31:52Speaker 04

  Yeah, call me back.

• 31:53Connor Wood?

I will. Bye. Like, I almost feel kinda bad.

• 31:57Brooke Averick?

I know, that was wholesome. Buddy, uh, I could do that all the time.

• 32:01Connor Wood?

No, my, my, my dad's famous line is, uh, yeah, ah, yeah, uh, my, but, uh, he'll do 40 seconds of like, skitty da, ba, ba, ba, before he finally gets like his thought out.

• 32:13Brooke Averick?

Oh my god, that was really good, I have to say. Like, it doesn't get old. At all.

• 32:18Connor Wood?

To me, I feel really guilty about that.

• 32:19Brooke Averick?

  Oh, really?

• 32:20Connor Wood?

Like, I'm gonna have to call him back.

• 32:21Brooke Averick?

The only reason I feel guilty is because I did something to my dad yesterday. You know, the whole Tom's house was broken into, he confronted the burglar.

• 32:26Connor Wood?

  Yeah, that was funny.

• 32:27Brooke Averick?

Well, I texted my dad, Tom's house was broken into, just to see what he would say, and he was like, so, like,

• 32:32Connor Wood?

Like, I must have missed some texts.

• 32:33Brooke Averick?

He was like, shoot, like, I just got off the plane, must have missed some texts, like, not fully understanding. So, I do feel bad about that. But, oh, that was good.

• 32:41Connor Wood?

Yeah, that was, I don't know how I feel about it, to be honest. I feel kinda guilty.

• 32:46Brooke Averick?

Oh, it was funny, though. So, you can rest easy knowing that I got a belly laugh from that.

• 32:50Connor Wood?

  Oh, you did?

• 32:51Brooke Averick?

I did, I was cracking up.

• 32:52Connor Wood?

  That's good.

• 32:54Brooke Averick?

I'm just gonna readjust these, because I have a feeling I'm having, my hair's looking pretty bad.

• 32:57Connor Wood?

  No, it looks awesome.

• 32:58Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 32:59Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 32:59Brooke Averick?

  Thanks. Okay, what's next?

• 33:01Connor Wood?

Um, so, I wanna talk again, so, like, I have this desk here, and I, like, forgot that, you know, this isn't, you do, you're, you're gonna handle pop culture. I'm gonna have some opinions.

• 33:09Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 33:10Connor Wood?

I gotta bring in a little bit of... You know, my background.

• 33:14Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 33:15Connor Wood?

You know what my background is?

• 33:16Brooke Averick?

  Texas?

• 33:16Connor Wood?

  No, I worked in tech.

• 33:19Brooke Averick?

  Uh huh.

• 33:19Connor Wood?

  All before this.

• 33:21Brooke Averick?

Well, now, you know I'm a woman in tech, so I will be understanding a little bit of what you're saying.

• 33:25Connor Wood?

  Because you do post TikToks.

• 33:26Brooke Averick?

Because I do go on my phone quite a bit.

• 33:28Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 33:28Brooke Averick?

  I do have a screen.

• 33:29Connor Wood?

  What is it?

• 33:30Brooke Averick?

Time of 13 hours, so I am, I call myself woman in tech.

• 33:34Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 33:34Brooke Averick?

  At tech, yeah.

• 33:34Connor Wood?

I went to the doctor and Foley was like, I have a tumor. And they were like, no.

• 33:38Brooke Averick?

  You need blue light glasses?

• 33:40Connor Wood?

  You need blue light glasses.

• 33:41Brooke Averick?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've been there, honey.

• 33:42Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 33:42Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 33:43Connor Wood?

  Totally.

• 33:44Brooke Averick?

  Okay, so tell me about...

• 33:45Connor Wood?

So, so, so, so, my, my experience in tech, I sat at a desk much like this. I never had a phone. Um, but my experience in tech, like, I worked at Bumble.

• 33:56Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 33:57Connor Wood?

Um, I was a very early employee at Bumble. And I got fired, obviously, I can't hold a job. And then, so I started at Bird, where, if you remember earlier in the...

• 34:07Brooke Averick?

Full circle moment, happy anniversary, by the way.

• 34:09Connor Wood?

  Happy anniversary, thank you.

• 34:10Brooke Averick?

Of course, Connor, I wouldn't forget that.

• 34:12Connor Wood?

Hit by the, hit by a car. Um...

• 34:18Speaker 00

Fall never arrives all at once. First the air, then the light. And slowly, the things you love begin to find each other. A jacket meets a dress. A hoodie slips beneath a blazer. An old cap finds a new scarf. Because you don't simply step into the season. You create it, layer by layer, until it finally feels like fall. Find fall your way at Ross.

• 34:46Connor Wood?

What was I gonna say? Oh, I got fired from Bird, too. Shortly after getting hired.

• 34:50Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 34:51Connor Wood?

  Um, but I...

• 34:52Brooke Averick?

  That wasn't your fault.

• 34:53Connor Wood?

No, but tell me, tell me, what is your, like, when you hear the word IPO?

• 34:59Brooke Averick?

  Mm-hmm.

• 35:00Connor Wood?

What does that mean to you?

• 35:00Brooke Averick?

  Beer.

• 35:03Connor Wood?

  Yeah, yum.

• 35:04Brooke Averick?

  Yum.

• 35:05Connor Wood?

No, what is, so you're thinking IPA, so that was really close, actually.

• 35:08Brooke Averick?

  Mm-hmm.

• 35:09Connor Wood?

  What is IPO?

• 35:10Brooke Averick?

  IPO.

• 35:13Brooke Averick?

  Um.

• 35:14Connor Wood?

  Don't panic.

• 35:16Brooke Averick?

  Like international.

• 35:21Brooke Averick?

  Pod- podcasting association. Oh, uh.

• 35:25Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 35:26Brooke Averick?

  I, just tell me.

• 35:27Connor Wood?

  It's an initial public.

• 35:28Brooke Averick?

Put me out of my misery.

• 35:29Connor Wood?

We're gonna get you invested in stuff.

• 35:31Brooke Averick?

  Okay, that's totally fine.

• 35:33Connor Wood?

You have a money guy that does all your money.

• 35:35Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, Uncle Jeffrey.

• 35:36Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 35:36Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 35:36Connor Wood?

  Bless his heart.

• 35:37Brooke Averick?

  Bless his heart. Love you.

• 35:38Connor Wood?

  Love him.

• 35:38Brooke Averick?

  Love you, Uncle Jeffrey.

• 35:39Connor Wood?

  Love him to death.

• 35:39Brooke Averick?

  Um.

• 35:40Connor Wood?

Um, yeah, but an initial public offering, that's basically like when a company goes public.

• 35:45Brooke Averick?

  You were telling me about.

• 35:46Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 35:47Brooke Averick?

You know, these are, you're dragging my memory a bit.

• 35:49Connor Wood?

Yeah, so the beautiful thing about going public is I've worked at two of the companies I just spoke on.

• 35:54Brooke Averick?

  Uh huh.

• 35:54Connor Wood?

I, both of those, Bumble and Bird, did go public after I left, so I benefited nothing at all from both of those experiences.

• 36:00Brooke Averick?

What were they doing when they were private?

• 36:02Connor Wood?

So, it's, you're basically fundraising and like, you have a series of like rounds of fundraising where you're raising money to go public. And getting in press and like, I don't really fucking get it, to be honest, now that I'm saying it out loud.

• 36:18Brooke Averick?

  Uh huh.

• 36:18Connor Wood?

And that's okay, I don't need to, because it's like, it's not for me to know.

• 36:21Brooke Averick?

  I mean, from what.

• 36:22Connor Wood?

  Right.

• 36:23Brooke Averick?

  Makes no difference to me.

• 36:24Connor Wood?

Right, totally. I could have just kept going with what I was saying. Basically, when you go to the stock market.

• 36:28Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 36:29Connor Wood?

You go public and you ring the bell.

• 36:30Brooke Averick?

Where do you go to the stock market?

• 36:31Connor Wood?

You go to, you go to Wall Street. And you bring all your friends.

• 36:34Brooke Averick?

  Is it a place?

• 36:35Connor Wood?

Wall Street and you're making a lot of noise and there's confetti. It's a place. And there's a bull.

• 36:42Brooke Averick?

Is it same as Wolf of Wall Street?

• 36:43Connor Wood?

  Yeah, exactly the same.

• 36:44Brooke Averick?

  That's the sock room?

• 36:44Connor Wood?

  Boats and cocaine.

• 36:47Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 36:47Connor Wood?

And you basically go to the Wall Street and you do, you have the whole thing happen, you post on Instagram. There's a, there's a big screen on Times Square and you get to take a picture in front of it. And you go public and you go to the stock market at a, at an initial public offering of X.

• 37:01Brooke Averick?

  Uh huh.

• 37:02Connor Wood?

Which is a price per. Unit stock.

• 37:06Brooke Averick?

  Well, yeah.

• 37:06Connor Wood?

Sorry, I'm screaming a little bit.

• 37:07Brooke Averick?

  No, not at all.

• 37:09Connor Wood?

Basically, so then you can be higher than that, you can be lower than that. A lot of companies fail. When WeWork went public, they flopped. What else went public recently? I don't know, but you can be.

• 37:20Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 37:20Connor Wood?

And then you go up and if Elon Musk talks about you.

• 37:23Brooke Averick?

  So basically, what I'm understanding.

• 37:24Connor Wood?

You go up on the stock market. People are buying in, your price goes up.

• 37:28Brooke Averick?

So you can't buy anything when it's private? So when it goes public, then people can have a piece of it.

• 37:33Connor Wood?

Well, that's a tricky subject. Because like I got in early on Sweetgreen.

• 37:38Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 37:40Connor Wood?

You can just do it. I don't, I don't know.

• 37:43Brooke Averick?

  Even when it's private?

• 37:44Connor Wood?

You can like get in early at the, at the market price. I hope no one's listening to this back there and like.

• 37:52Connor Wood?

Anyway, so Rivian is an electric truck company, truck company. It's right here. So I actually went when I was at CES with Bird and we were in. Like Bird has obviously stepped into bikes, electric bikes in Santa Monica specifically. And there, there's the future of like travel is electric apparently. And so the, this is going to be like a Tesla competitor. And what's cool about.

• 38:16Brooke Averick?

That thing just needs to be plugged in?

• 38:18Connor Wood?

Plug in, plug it right into the.

• 38:20Brooke Averick?

Oh, my God, that's huge, too.

• 38:21Connor Wood?

Outlet or you, you name it. It's huge and it's a truck. And the cool thing about these trucks, you would love it because you pull it out, you can sit on it. There's like a bench connected to it. And there's a lot of other features that I can't remember now, but we got to see it in person and it was so sick. Like it's connected to Alexa.

• 38:40Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 38:41Connor Wood?

They work with Amazon, so I don't know. It's, it's really cool. It's a cool company.

• 38:45Brooke Averick?

I mean, it looked cool, but I feel like I missed.

• 38:47Connor Wood?

Yeah. Watch this space. That's all I'll say.

• 38:50Brooke Averick?

  The mic?

• 38:50Connor Wood?

  No, watch this space.

• 38:52Brooke Averick?

  What are you talking about?

• 38:54Connor Wood?

Just watch this space. Keep an eye on this space. Cause there's a lot happening with it.

• 38:59Brooke Averick?

Oh, just a general. That's what I was going to ask you, how Vivian or whatever has anything to do with an IPO?

• 39:05Connor Wood?

There's a measure of success, like if your company's going public.

• 39:08Brooke Averick?

  That means you're successful?

• 39:09Connor Wood?

It's a good sign and they're raising money and.

• 39:12Brooke Averick?

Well, I haven't heard of this before.

• 39:14Connor Wood?

I know. Well, I mean, watch the space.

• 39:15Brooke Averick?

I am watching this, but now that you said it, I'll be watching this space.

• 39:18Connor Wood?

Watch the space. It's exciting, um, and you have some exciting news.

• 39:24Brooke Averick?

  Well, I, it's, it's early.

• 39:26Connor Wood?

Yeah, well, in a sense, this is going public as well.

• 39:30Brooke Averick?

In a sense, this is going public imminently, but I have spent the last week rewatching all of the Harry Potters.

• 39:36Connor Wood?

  Why?

• 39:37Brooke Averick?

  Why not?

• 39:38Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 39:39Brooke Averick?

Greatest films of our generation, have you seen?

• 39:41Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 39:41Brooke Averick?

  Do you like them?

• 39:42Connor Wood?

This is actually another anniversary, it's been 20 years since The Sorcerer's Stone.

• 39:46Brooke Averick?

  I know. Isn't that crazy?

• 39:48Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 39:48Brooke Averick?

  Have you seen the movies?

• 39:49Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 39:50Brooke Averick?

  Do you like them?

• 39:50Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 39:51Brooke Averick?

  Okay, that's awesome.

• 39:52Connor Wood?

They're kind of like, make you feel good.

• 39:53Brooke Averick?

They do, they're like, feel good, like, I love things that just like, bring you back.

• 39:58Connor Wood?

Yeah, I wasn't allowed to watch when I was...

• 40:00Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 40:00Connor Wood?

  No, cuz it was...

• 40:01Brooke Averick?

  Cuz it was violent?

• 40:02Connor Wood?

No, because it was black magic.

• 40:04Brooke Averick?

Oh, and you weren't allowed to watch black magic?

• 40:06Connor Wood?

No, I was raised in a Christian home.

• 40:07Brooke Averick?

Oh, I had no idea that that was even an issue. What's black magic in the Bible?

• 40:13Connor Wood?

  I don't know.

• 40:14Brooke Averick?

  But it's a religious thing?

• 40:15Connor Wood?

I guess. Do you guys all have black magic in Jewish?

• 40:18Brooke Averick?

I don't think so, I mean, not in the sense that it's like wizards and witches, wizards and witches.

• 40:24Connor Wood?

No, um, neither in the Bible, I don't really, I don't know what happened.

• 40:29Brooke Averick?

  Wow, that's so interesting.

• 40:30Connor Wood?

There was dark magic happening in the Harry Potter that they said, they talked about it. It's dark magic.

• 40:35Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I guess like, kind of like, I guess it's kind of like hell vibes. Like hell, heaven and hell?

• 40:40Connor Wood?

  Was it, is you think?

• 40:41Brooke Averick?

I don't know, like, dark magic could be hell, I don't think there's hell, and there's no hell in Judaism.

• 40:45Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I heard that.

• 40:47Brooke Averick?

Yeah, just, I guess, just like, different levels of heaven, maybe.

• 40:51Connor Wood?

  Cool.

• 40:51Brooke Averick?

  I don't know, I don't know this, but we're getting a little off topic.

• 40:53Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 40:54Brooke Averick?

But, um, anyway, I've been spending the whole week rewatching the Harry Potter movies.

• 40:58Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 40:59Brooke Averick?

Watched the seventh last night, finished back to the first this morning, there's eight. I was watching seven, part two.

• 41:05Connor Wood?

  Wow.

• 41:06Brooke Averick?

Yeah, rumor has it that there's gonna be a reunion, but no one has confirmed it, like, no one on the Harry Potter team.

• 41:12Connor Wood?

What is a reunion for Harry Potter?

• 41:15Brooke Averick?

Well, my understanding is it would be the same people, it's Warner Brothers, so it would be the same people that did the Friends reunion. So it would just be like...

• 41:24Connor Wood?

Are we getting into another Taylor Swift feud?

• 41:26Brooke Averick?

  I mean, I just like it's-

• 41:27Connor Wood?

That was bad. It was bad objectively. Everyone agreed that the Friends reunion was bad.

• 41:31Brooke Averick?

I have not heard that once, Carl.

• 41:33Connor Wood?

Whoa, we live in a different point of reality.

• 41:35Brooke Averick?

I don't know where you're getting your information, but that is, that reunion was life-changing and touched the lives of so many people. And you're minimizing that.

• 41:45Brooke Averick?

  Am I being crazy?

• 41:47Connor Wood?

I'm not gonna say you're being crazy, cuz I'm not Jake Gyllenhaal.

• 41:50Brooke Averick?

Yeah, cuz I'm not Jake Gyllenhaal. But it's just like, I don't understand like what you could have been, you don't like Friends!

• 41:56Connor Wood?

I didn't say that on here today.

• 41:57Brooke Averick?

No, but I know that, but I know that in my, cuz you've told me explicitly you don't like Friends, so of course you don't like Friends.

• 42:02Connor Wood?

My thing with Friends is like, you can put on its background noise. I don't think that the plotline, and everyone agrees the plotline is bad.

• 42:07Brooke Averick?

But I don't think that's why anybody's watching it. Well, it is funny.

• 42:10Connor Wood?

  No.

• 42:10Brooke Averick?

  Well, yeah. Well, yeah.

• 42:12Connor Wood?

  It's not funny.

• 42:13Brooke Averick?

  It's a riot.

• 42:14Connor Wood?

How can you watch like curb your enthusiasm and then watch Friends and be like, Friends is funny?

• 42:18Brooke Averick?

  You can like both.

• 42:19Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 42:19Brooke Averick?

  They're different kinds of humor.

• 42:21Connor Wood?

  I would never-

• 42:21Brooke Averick?

Curb is like really smart. I wouldn't say Friends is like smart. It's just like, feel good.

• 42:27Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 42:27Brooke Averick?

Hanging with friends, lots of laughs.

• 42:29Connor Wood?

Pretty, it's pretty much in the title.

• 42:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, you could say that.

• 42:32Connor Wood?

  It's a gimme. Okay.

• 42:34Brooke Averick?

  Well, that's fine.

• 42:35Connor Wood?

Okay, cool. Well, it was a good experience for you. I watched it. It's not like I didn't, again, I didn't, no.

• 42:39Brooke Averick?

Well, I don't think you can go in not liking Friends and come out thinking the reunion was great, you know?

• 42:46Connor Wood?

  Oh, yeah.

• 42:46Brooke Averick?

  You know, so...

• 42:49Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, anyway.

• 42:50Connor Wood?

I just breathe in deep for the, have you ever just like breathed in deep? It feels so good.

• 42:53Brooke Averick?

  It makes me uncomfortable.

• 42:54Connor Wood?

Sometimes I fully forget to breathe.

• 42:55Brooke Averick?

It makes me anxious to breathe. I'm a shallow breather for sure.

• 42:57Connor Wood?

I thought J.K. Rowling was canceled.

• 42:59Brooke Averick?

  She is.

• 42:59Connor Wood?

So what, she's just not gonna go to the reunion?

• 43:01Brooke Averick?

I, that's a great question. We'll have to feel that out. Keep your eyes on the space.

• 43:04Connor Wood?

  Yeah, watch the space.

• 43:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, for sure.

• 43:07Connor Wood?

What was she canceled for? Didn't she-

• 43:08Brooke Averick?

Um, she was just like, like, bad.

• 43:12Connor Wood?

  No way!

• 43:13Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 43:14Connor Wood?

  Isn't she just-

• 43:14Brooke Averick?

Uh, I can forward you some tweets.

• 43:16Connor Wood?

  She was tweeting?

• 43:18Brooke Averick?

Well, she was just like, it was like a weird time of like transgender issues and like what bathrooms people should use. And she was like really adamant about like trans people like sticking, I, I like, just like using the bathroom of the gender they were assigned at birth.

• 43:33Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 43:34Brooke Averick?

Like really adamant and like would not stop. And then people were just like, I think, I'm pretty sure that was it. But people were just like, what the fuck? And just like, just like collectively were like, you're done. I'm just like, yeah.

• 43:45Connor Wood?

  You're done.

• 43:46Brooke Averick?

You're done. And then she's just like.

• 43:48Connor Wood?

  No.

• 43:48Brooke Averick?

Yeah. She just like, was like, no, I'm not. And just like kept going and just like would not apologize or change her views. And anyway, it was really bizarre. Especially because like you're clearly brilliant in some capacity. If you're writing Harry Potter, but like she just wouldn't.

• 44:02Connor Wood?

I was so out of the loop with that whole thing.

• 44:04Brooke Averick?

I think it was like a stu-, like a stubborn issue. She was just like not.

• 44:07Connor Wood?

  Well, she's old.

• 44:08Brooke Averick?

  I don't think, I think she's in her 40s. Her 50s, minimum.

• 44:13Connor Wood?

  Time for a.

• 44:14Brooke Averick?

  Rebrand. Time for a rebrand.

• 44:16Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 44:16Brooke Averick?

  A night and. Sorcerer's Stone.

• 44:19Connor Wood?

She's 56 years old. She looks great, actually, for 56.

• 44:23Brooke Averick?

  She does.

• 44:23Connor Wood?

But that's an old, that's an older person. Like that's someone who.

• 44:26Brooke Averick?

I mean. She's older than my parents. I think my dad is 55. So she's. Not too old.

• 44:34Connor Wood?

  Hmm.

• 44:36Brooke Averick?

Okay. So we'll keep our eyes on the space for Harry Potter reunion.

• 44:40Connor Wood?

Yeah, but some people that age can have. Opinions and be stubborn about it, like.

• 44:45Brooke Averick?

Oh, that's what you're saying? Oh, okay. I wasn't sure where you were getting at with her needing a night serum, but.

• 44:49Connor Wood?

Oh, because you said she's 40 and I was like, she's not 40.

• 44:53Brooke Averick?

  Okay, then she's 56.

• 44:55Connor Wood?

  Okay, no, she's gorgeous.

• 44:56Brooke Averick?

  She's.

• 44:58Brooke Averick?

Beautiful. Okay, um. I don't think we need to talk about Zayn and Gigi.

• 45:02Connor Wood?

I don't know, shh, crap about Zayn and Gigi.

• 45:05Brooke Averick?

  He just like.

• 45:05Connor Wood?

That's like a troubling situation. That's like domestic violence.

• 45:08Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I would skip.

• 45:09Connor Wood?

Yeah, he seems, he seems troubled.

• 45:11Brooke Averick?

  He's troubled.

• 45:12Connor Wood?

You know what I will say about Zayn and Gigi? Bella wasn't getting enough attention and now she's crying all over the internet.

• 45:16Brooke Averick?

  Is she?

• 45:17Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 45:17Brooke Averick?

  I didn't, I missed that, ew.

• 45:19Connor Wood?

Man, I'm in a really good pop culture-y.

• 45:22Brooke Averick?

  You are.

• 45:22Connor Wood?

  Knowledge space.

• 45:23Brooke Averick?

I'm embarrassed, that's supposed to be. My face.

• 45:26Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 45:27Brooke Averick?

You know, someone once told me I look like Bella Hadid.

• 45:29Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 45:30Brooke Averick?

  Okay. That's it?

• 45:33Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 45:33Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 45:34Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 45:35Brooke Averick?

  Cool.

• 45:35Connor Wood?

Who did you pull up a picture of the other day and say that you looked like?

• 45:38Brooke Averick?

  Oh, Emma Roberts.

• 45:39Connor Wood?

Because you were both wearing a striped shirt.

• 45:41Brooke Averick?

No, I put on the shirt to show everyone that I looked like her.

• 45:45Connor Wood?

Yeah, your hair was the same color, too.

• 45:46Brooke Averick?

When her hair was brown, we have a similar.

• 45:50Connor Wood?

I saw it, I saw it in the pic. I agreed with you.

• 45:52Brooke Averick?

Do you mind if I actually pull this up?

• 45:53Connor Wood?

No, I'm the one that agreed with you. Someone else said no.

• 45:56Brooke Averick?

Because I said, I said it because I have a big crush on Evan Peters, who dated.

• 46:01Connor Wood?

  He's been pretty quiet.

• 46:02Brooke Averick?

Well, he doesn't, he's just like a very humble, quiet guy, from what I know. I know him well, you know?

• 46:12Connor Wood?

I really want to tell the story, because this is reminding me.

• 46:16Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 46:18Connor Wood?

Of you meeting Jacob Lorti the other night.

• 46:20Brooke Averick?

You tell that, and I'll look up for me and Emma.

• 46:23Connor Wood?

Oh, yeah, that's it! Oh my god, they found the picture!

• 46:26Brooke Averick?

Oh my god, that's the picture, but I need to find the pic stitch of, first of all, that's me.

• 46:29Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I do see it.

• 46:30Brooke Averick?

Do you see that? But let me find, anyway, the reason I was like, oh, I love Evan Peters, you know, crazy, he dated Emma Roberts, I look just like her, and everyone started laughing. And I was like, I don't, what's funny? And they were like, you don't look like her, and then I was deeply, deeply upset, and then proceeded to go home, change into an outfit that looked like her, and pic-stitch our pictures together.

• 46:48Connor Wood?

  Well, it's hard.

• 46:49Brooke Averick?

Post it on my Instagram story and say, do I look like Emma Roberts? And which most people said no.

• 46:53Connor Wood?

So like, I have one or two people I look like Max, like.

• 46:57Brooke Averick?

  Can I say them?

• 46:57Connor Wood?

  Yeah, sure.

• 46:58Brooke Averick?

  You look like Tom Holland.

• 46:59Connor Wood?

  That's flattering.

• 47:01Brooke Averick?

  Here.

• 47:02Connor Wood?

I can't ever take my shirt off.

• 47:05Brooke Averick?

Do you see it? Identical, in that picture specifically. See?

• 47:09Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I do see it.

• 47:09Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 47:10Connor Wood?

  Um, I.

• 47:11Brooke Averick?

I'll favorite that for future reference.

• 47:13Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 47:13Brooke Averick?

  Okay, Tom Holland.

• 47:14Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 47:15Brooke Averick?

  And...

• 47:18Brooke Averick?

  Would I know this one?

• 47:20Connor Wood?

I just know there's another one.

• 47:21Brooke Averick?

  The guy from Outer Banks?

• 47:21Connor Wood?

  No.

• 47:22Brooke Averick?

  Um, Tom Holland.

• 47:26Connor Wood?

I don't remember who it was, but I think it was Anwar Hadeed.

• 47:28Brooke Averick?

Oh, yeah, and you've got Matthew McConaughey. I think that's more of a vibe thing, like, yeah.

• 47:34Connor Wood?

Yeah. But like, when I look at you, I think Amy Winehouse.

• 47:37Brooke Averick?

I know you do. Were you there when?

• 47:39Connor Wood?

And it's hard for me to say you look like anyone else, because I think Amy Winehouse.

• 47:42Brooke Averick?

Right. I don't really see it, but I do, like, people will come up to me.

• 47:47Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 47:48Brooke Averick?

Someone came up to me this weekend and was like, "I'm so sorry."

• 47:51Connor Wood?

"I have to stop you in the street and tell you that you look like Amy Winehouse."

• 47:53Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I do get that a lot. I get her and Sarah Silverman.

• 47:58Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 47:58Brooke Averick?

  Yes. But I, I-

• 48:00Connor Wood?

Because you have strong features, like, great eyebrows, dark hair.

• 48:07Brooke Averick?

Thank you. That's really nice of you to say.

• 48:09Connor Wood?

Which like, both of those people do, too.

• 48:11Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 48:12Connor Wood?

  Sarah Silverman specifically.

• 48:13Brooke Averick?

I think when it comes down to it, it has something to do with me being 99.98% Ashkenazi Jewish, according to 23andMe.com, and I'm sure that they are as well, if I had to guess. And I'm sure we're-

• 48:28Connor Wood?

  100%.

• 48:28Brooke Averick?

I keep getting emails from 23andMe that's like, "You have new relatives," and it's new cousins that are related to me on both sides.

• 48:35Connor Wood?

  How does that happen?

• 48:37Brooke Averick?

They are related to me through my mom and my dad, because when you're so much of one thing, I do think I'm inbred a bit. Not in an offensive way at all, just normalized being inbred, I guess. Yeah.

• 48:51Connor Wood?

  Totally.

• 48:51Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Okay, um, what were you were saying?

• 48:56Connor Wood?

  I was just saying-

• 48:56Brooke Averick?

Oh, you want to tell Jacob a Lordy story?

• 48:57Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I guess-

• 48:58Brooke Averick?

  That was horrible.

• 48:58Connor Wood?

While we're here, it's so funny, because I-

• 49:02Connor Wood?

Excuse me, I must have had a frog in my throat.

• 49:04Brooke Averick?

I'm just gonna tell a really quick precursor and then you-

• 49:07Connor Wood?

I just want to say the reason I brought this up is because the Evan Peters situation like freaks me out, because I think if you were ever in a room with Evan Peters, you would do the exact same thing.

• 49:15Brooke Averick?

That what I did to Jacob?

• 49:17Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 49:17Brooke Averick?

I think I was being mild when I met him. But basically, what happened was I went to like a live taping of Jimmy Kimmel.

• 49:26Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 49:26Brooke Averick?

And just like that anyone can do, like, you can get tickets, and he was the guest, and I was sitting front row, and I was under the impression that we-

• 49:37Connor Wood?

  Had a connection.

• 49:38Brooke Averick?

Had a connection, at least on my end.

• 49:40Connor Wood?

  Right.

• 49:41Brooke Averick?

Okay. You can take it away.

• 49:43Connor Wood?

  So.

• 49:43Brooke Averick?

And that was like weeks before the stories that, the story that Connor's about.

• 49:46Connor Wood?

We were at like an event the other night, um, oops. And Jacob Elordi walks in with Noah Centineo.

• 49:53Brooke Averick?

  Centineo.

• 49:54Connor Wood?

  Centineo, whatever. And, uh,

• 49:59Connor Wood?

I chatted with him for a second.

• 50:00Brooke Averick?

  With Jacob or Noah?

• 50:01Connor Wood?

  Jacob.

• 50:02Brooke Averick?

  Uh huh.

• 50:02Connor Wood?

And then, um, he's with our friend Jack for a while. And then every time I turned around, Brooke is closer and closer to him, like chest to chest. He's obviously like eight foot tall, huge dude. And Brooke is like this, like, like staring at him. And I'm at, finally I was like, hey Brooke. And wait, what did you, what were you yelling at him?

• 50:25Brooke Averick?

Well, I was just like, well.

• 50:28Connor Wood?

Oh, I see. You've met my friend Jack.

• 50:30Brooke Averick?

No, that was the second night. Well, at first I was like, hey, like so nice to see you again. Do you remember me? And I was like a few drinks in and I was like, do you remember me? And he was like, from what? And I was like, from Jimmy Kimmel? And he was like, what? And I was like, I was sitting front row. Do you remember me?

• 50:44Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 50:45Brooke Averick?

And he didn't, but he was so thankful I was there.

• 50:48Connor Wood?

Well, I'm sure he was flustered that night. There was a lot of pressure on Jimmy.

• 50:50Brooke Averick?

And he was, yeah, it was. He did great, by the way. You did great, Jacob. I know. I'm sure you're watching this. Um, but he didn't remember me, um, which was a bit of a shock to the system. And then I was like, okay, huge fan, whatever. Great. Left. And like, then I started like having a few more drinks progressively. And then this is when you came in. You didn't see that first meeting, but the second meeting was our friend Jack was talking to him. And I think they were exchanging numbers and I just go up, put my arm around Jack and go, I see you've met my friend Jack, Jacob. And then I feel Connor like tugging at me from the back. Do you remember that?

• 51:27Connor Wood?

  Yeah, cause I would.

• 51:28Brooke Averick?

  Cause you.

• 51:29Connor Wood?

Hope someone would do that to me too.

• 51:31Brooke Averick?

  And I don't think I responded.

• 51:32Connor Wood?

The thing that I do, no, the thing, well, you were fine, but the thing that I do. And you do is like when someone is there.

• 51:40Brooke Averick?

  Fixating.

• 51:41Connor Wood?

It's like, okay, cool. That's my night. Like, I don't even need to see my friends. I'm like,

• 51:44Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 51:44Connor Wood?

I need to go up to that person six times until I have the perfect.

• 51:49Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 51:49Connor Wood?

  Interaction with them.

• 51:50Brooke Averick?

I kept trying new things with him.

• 51:51Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 51:51Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. Yeah. Anyway.

• 51:53Connor Wood?

When I did see you that second time, I, you were one centimeter away from his body.

• 51:57Brooke Averick?

Right. Right. I was getting a little too close, probably for sure. But I couldn't hear him or see him.

• 52:02Connor Wood?

  It was loud.

• 52:03Brooke Averick?

No, he's so tall that I,

• 52:05Connor Wood?

  He is tall.

• 52:05Brooke Averick?

He had to lean down and I had to, it was just really, I was trying to be polite.

• 52:09Connor Wood?

  Right.

• 52:09Brooke Averick?

So that I would be able to hear him and he would be able to hear me. Yeah. And that's it.

• 52:13Connor Wood?

  It's fine. It's like, whatever.

• 52:15Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Have you had any celebrity?

• 52:17Connor Wood?

Yeah. And I don't want to talk about it. I had one this weekend and I don't want to talk.

• 52:20Brooke Averick?

  You did?

• 52:21Connor Wood?

  Yeah. I talked about it.

• 52:22Brooke Averick?

  To me?

• 52:23Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 52:24Brooke Averick?

This weekend? I was with you this weekend.

• 52:26Connor Wood?

When I went to the show on Friday.

• 52:27Brooke Averick?

Oh, oh, okay. Okay. We can, we can just pass that.

• 52:30Connor Wood?

That one hurts me to talk about.

• 52:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 52:31Connor Wood?

Um, you watch any TV? Did you?

• 52:35Brooke Averick?

Uh, yeah, that's all I do really. The, what's your favorite thing to watch on TV?

• 52:42Brooke Averick?

Actually, I will say, we have nothing in common except.

• 52:45Connor Wood?

  Curb or enthusiasm.

• 52:46Brooke Averick?

For our love for Curb or enthusiasm.

• 52:48Connor Wood?

  New season blows ass.

• 52:49Brooke Averick?

Really? I think it's, I think there are good parts and bad parts, but you might not know, Connor and I lived together for three months.

• 52:57Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 52:58Brooke Averick?

Um, and he would always put Curb on and I would like throw a fit. And I was like, this is stupid. Like, put Friends on. This sucks.

• 53:07Connor Wood?

  Oh, sorry.

• 53:08Brooke Averick?

  Are you well?

• 53:08Connor Wood?

  The mic.

• 53:08Brooke Averick?

Oh, um, and I was like, put Friends on and I would like adamantly, I was being really stubborn and wouldn't watch it because I've always been like anti-Seinfeld because Seinfeld always came on after Friends and that was very much like a signal Friends is over and that, I hated that.

• 53:23Connor Wood?

  Visceral.

• 53:23Brooke Averick?

The visceral, just like Pavlov's dog response, learned response. So I just like associated Curb.

• 53:29Connor Wood?

You look like Fran Drescher too. That's another person.

• 53:31Brooke Averick?

That's really, I love The Nanny. It's one of my favorite shows.

• 53:34Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 53:34Brooke Averick?

  Thank you, Connor.

• 53:35Connor Wood?

  Of course.

• 53:35Brooke Averick?

Um, I'd, I'd go as far as to bet she's also 99.98% a Nazi.

• 53:41Brooke Averick?

But, what was I saying? Oh, I was like really against Curb.

• 53:44Connor Wood?

Yeah, you just, you just don't like her.

• 53:45Brooke Averick?

And then like the day we moved out.

• 53:47Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 53:48Brooke Averick?

And I moved into my own apartment. I started watching it.

• 53:50Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I just like.

• 53:51Brooke Averick?

  And.

• 53:52Connor Wood?

I'm glad to see you had a bit of a turnaround there. Did you finish, did you watch it from like start to end with this new season?

• 54:00Brooke Averick?

No, I finished like a month, two months ago. I'm like that whole giant blanket while I was watching Curb.

• 54:06Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 54:07Brooke Averick?

And I finished when it was before season 11 and now I'm watching season 11 as you watch season 11 live time.

• 54:13Connor Wood?

I hate that it's live time.

• 54:15Brooke Averick?

Cause you would rather just binge it all?

• 54:17Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 54:18Brooke Averick?

  I get that.

• 54:19Connor Wood?

  I would.

• 54:19Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I like having something to look forward to. Cause it's Sunday nights, waking up every Monday to a fresh episode of Curb.

• 54:26Connor Wood?

It's just like not great this season. It's kind of disappointing. I think it's not great because it's like.

• 54:32Brooke Averick?

It has been a long, it's 11 seasons. That's a long time to do anything. And it's kind of the same thing over and over again. It's a very recipe based show.

• 54:38Connor Wood?

I'll say like unrelated to this new season, if I ever met Larry David, I feel like he would.

• 54:44Brooke Averick?

  Hate you?

• 54:45Connor Wood?

No, we would hang out. Like I think we'd be really very close.

• 54:47Brooke Averick?

  Oh, do you really?

• 54:49Connor Wood?

  Mm-hmm.

• 54:50Brooke Averick?

I'd be interested to see that. I think.

• 54:52Connor Wood?

Like best friend vibes, like not even like a.

• 54:54Brooke Averick?

I think you have completely different vibes.

• 54:56Connor Wood?

No, I see a lot of myself in Larry.

• 54:58Brooke Averick?

  Really? I, I don't know.

• 54:59Connor Wood?

  Midler? I'm a great midler.

• 55:02Brooke Averick?

Well, you're referring to how you have to be at the middle of the table.

• 55:06Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 55:07Brooke Averick?

I agree. You're good at that. This episode, it was about being a midler and like who's.

• 55:11Connor Wood?

Where you're seated at like a long dinner table.

• 55:13Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I agree, but I just, I think you can talk and talk and talk and talk about random things, but Larry's talking about very, very specific things that upset him. I feel like you're less complainy. You get mad at me when I complain constantly.

• 55:29Connor Wood?

Yeah, I don't complain, but I do get bugged by stuff.

• 55:31Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 55:32Connor Wood?

And I just talk, I just bring it up. I'm like, this, you know what I can't do?

• 55:36Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 55:37Connor Wood?

When the table's a little bit wobbly.

• 55:39Brooke Averick?

I know. Well, I told you about that invention. That's just like that little thing you stick under the.

• 55:44Connor Wood?

Yeah, isn't that related to your family?

• 55:46Brooke Averick?

I think I might have said that my mom invented that and I did prob, I did lie.

• 55:51Connor Wood?

  You lied.

• 55:52Brooke Averick?

She invented a thing that was just basically a piece of paper that you would put your gum into. I think that's what she says every time we go out. Is she invented, maybe pop up or something, put something, maybe it's pop up. It could also totally be Uncle Jeffrey. But I do feel that that has a tie to my family, the table stopper thing. But yeah.

• 56:12Connor Wood?

So Euphoria, we both, we both watched it.

• 56:15Brooke Averick?

Recently, we didn't watch it when it was trending, but we watched it recently.

• 56:19Connor Wood?

Like last week, we had different experiences.

• 56:23Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I think that everybody goes through a bit of a personality.

• 56:26Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 56:27Brooke Averick?

Or just exploring yourself and exploring.

• 56:29Connor Wood?

  What was your?

• 56:31Brooke Averick?

Well, I watched that and I was like, I don't ever want to touch alcohol or anything like that's scary. I don't want to be affected in any way. Like I want to be fully in control of myself.

• 56:44Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 56:45Brooke Averick?

And I think you had the opposite.

• 56:46Connor Wood?

  I went on a bender.

• 56:47Brooke Averick?

You went on a full bender post-Euphoria.

• 56:48Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I did every.

• 56:50Brooke Averick?

Right. I know, I remember that.

• 56:52Connor Wood?

It was an experience and then I was like, oh my God, wait, that's because I watched.

• 56:55Brooke Averick?

That's because you watched Euphoria. Yeah, and I, I, yeah.

• 56:58Connor Wood?

  That's crazy.

• 56:59Brooke Averick?

  That scared me, that show.

• 57:00Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 57:00Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 57:01Connor Wood?

  I thought it was sick.

• 57:02Brooke Averick?

I mean, it was the best show I've ever seen, but it did not make me want to do drugs.

• 57:05Connor Wood?

  Yeah. I don't know.

• 57:06Brooke Averick?

  That's fine.

• 57:07Connor Wood?

  To each their own.

• 57:07Brooke Averick?

  Again, to each their own.

• 57:08Connor Wood?

  Different drugs, different folks.

• 57:09Brooke Averick?

  Totally, yeah, completely.

• 57:10Connor Wood?

Yeah. Um, it didn't, I, I get Zendaya now, so like I watched that show and then I was like, and I've never like not gotten Zendaya, I think she's awesome, but I like, she deserves to be super famous. I just like never, I'm not like, oh, I need to watch this because Zendaya's in it.

• 57:26Brooke Averick?

  Uh huh.

• 57:26Connor Wood?

  Or Zendaya, Zendaya or Zendaya?

• 57:28Brooke Averick?

  Zendaya.

• 57:29Connor Wood?

And, but then Dune comes out and I'm like, oh.

• 57:31Brooke Averick?

  Oh, God.

• 57:32Connor Wood?

Can't hurt, I need to watch because Zendaya's in it.

• 57:34Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 57:34Connor Wood?

She's, don't think has a single line in the movie.

• 57:37Brooke Averick?

  She had three lines.

• 57:39Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 57:40Brooke Averick?

And I think she was only on set for three to five days or something. And now her and Timmy are like best friends, we bonded for life over this film. You guys met for like two days. Isn't that crazy?

• 57:52Connor Wood?

  That was.

• 57:53Brooke Averick?

The film itself. Did you understand one word?

• 57:55Connor Wood?

  You were.

• 57:57Brooke Averick?

I mean, I think what I've heard, because I was watching it and I was like, I must be like.

• 58:03Connor Wood?

  No.

• 58:03Brooke Averick?

  Like intellectually, like.

• 58:05Connor Wood?

  I, someone's.

• 58:06Brooke Averick?

  Scary.

• 58:06Connor Wood?

I tweeted about it. I was like, is this sci-fi or is it bad? And?

• 58:12Brooke Averick?

I thought it was current Middle East, present day Middle East.

• 58:15Connor Wood?

Everyone was like, what is wrong with you? Like that movie was brilliant. I'm like. I must be the dumbest person on the planet.

• 58:22Brooke Averick?

Rocks for brains. I didn't under-

• 58:24Connor Wood?

  I'm staring at-

• 58:24Brooke Averick?

Looking up the- I had the movie version of the Wikipedia plot up. I'm following along, looking at the movie, looking at my phone for the Wikipedia plot. No. Not one thing made sense.

• 58:35Connor Wood?

You know what I felt like when I was similar vein? I felt like when you start reading a book and then you read the first- the page and you're like, "Oh my god, I don't even remember."

• 58:43Brooke Averick?

And you have to keep going back-

• 58:45Connor Wood?

And you have to start over that page.

• 58:46Brooke Averick?

And they didn't give us the option to do that.

• 58:47Connor Wood?

  I'm like, "What is- who?"

• 58:48Brooke Averick?

  I mean-

• 58:49Connor Wood?

  The Voice?

• 58:50Brooke Averick?

  I know.

• 58:50Connor Wood?

Yeah, I read it in the ad.

• 58:51Brooke Averick?

  I don't know. I don't know. I don't-

• 58:53Connor Wood?

Where did that even come from?

• 58:54Brooke Averick?

  What voice?

• 58:55Connor Wood?

  The Voice!

• 58:56Brooke Averick?

  Oh, the mom.

• 58:57Connor Wood?

  And Timmy.

• 58:58Brooke Averick?

  And Timmy?

• 59:00Connor Wood?

You're not gonna be able to help me. I'm not gonna be able to help you.

• 59:02Brooke Averick?

Genetic disorder or something? I don't know.

• 59:03Connor Wood?

  It's like, we're on a ship, it's, um-

• 59:06Brooke Averick?

  Connor, I-

• 59:07Connor Wood?

Thanos vibes, like they're taking over planets, there's spices involved for some reason.

• 59:13Brooke Averick?

From what I understood, from the Wikipedia plot-

• 59:15Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 59:16Brooke Averick?

I read the Wikipedia plot to the whole book, too-

• 59:19Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 59:19Brooke Averick?

-after. So, what I think, it's basically, there's a lot of different planets.

• 59:24Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 59:24Brooke Averick?

And one of them, the one Zendaya lives on, has the spice.

• 59:28Connor Wood?

  Spice.

• 59:29Brooke Averick?

And I think that you would want that. And, basically-

• 59:33Connor Wood?

Get everything out of the bagel.

• 59:34Brooke Averick?

Yeah. So you want that spice, for sure.

• 59:36Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 59:37Brooke Averick?

Think of it as a planet of everything like the bagel seasoning.

• 59:39Connor Wood?

  Ooh.

• 59:40Brooke Averick?

And Timmy's family somehow became in control of the land of the spice. But they weren't there, right?

• 59:47Connor Wood?

  They weren't there.

• 59:48Brooke Averick?

They went to a third-party planet to control the land of the spice, because it would actually make them die if they were exposed to the spice, but they want it at the same time.

• 59:58Brooke Averick?

They want it, but it would kill them. But, by con.

• 1:00:01Connor Wood?

You know what pissed me off? You know what really pit- really-

• 1:00:04Brooke Averick?

  When the dad died?

• 1:00:05Connor Wood?

  No.

• 1:00:05Brooke Averick?

  Spoiler alert. What?

• 1:00:06Connor Wood?

  Ooh.

• 1:00:06Brooke Averick?

Ooh, did you catch that the dad died? I didn't.

• 1:00:08Connor Wood?

  No.

• 1:00:09Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 1:00:09Connor Wood?

  When did he die?

• 1:00:10Brooke Averick?

He died when, do you remember, Timmy started crying.

• 1:00:13Connor Wood?

Who's the dad? Oscar De La Renta?

• 1:00:15Brooke Averick?

  Uh, yes.

• 1:00:16Connor Wood?

  Oscar?

• 1:00:16Brooke Averick?

  Oscar.

• 1:00:18Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 1:00:18Brooke Averick?

I'm thinking they're gonna pull it up for us, but, um-

• 1:00:20Connor Wood?

Uh, wait, hang on, I have a question.

• 1:00:21Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:00:22Connor Wood?

No, no, no, I don't have a question.

• 1:00:24Brooke Averick?

  You have a comment?

• 1:00:24Connor Wood?

I have a comment, and a concern. How about Timothy Chalamet posting about Dune 2, the day after Dune was released?

• 1:00:31Brooke Averick?

  They had- I mean, apparently-

• 1:00:32Connor Wood?

  It was like, Oscar Isaac.

• 1:00:33Brooke Averick?

Oscar Isaac. Apparently, Dune, what we saw is literally just like, a prelude-

• 1:00:38Connor Wood?

  Sss.

• 1:00:39Brooke Averick?

-to Dune 2. Tell me that before I see it, please.

• 1:00:41Connor Wood?

I wanna grab somebody and be like, I wanna grab everybody collectively and be like-

• 1:00:49Connor Wood?

  What?

• 1:00:49Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I'm right there with you.

• 1:00:51Connor Wood?

Yeah, well, it feels like Apple releasing a new iPhone the day after they do the thing on this, like with Tim Cook being like, "This is the new iPhone." And then like, we're like, "Yeah, let's all buy it." We buy it, and then the next day, it's like, "We got another new iPhone." It's like, I don't even get the features.

• 1:01:04Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I didn't, really, really, I was scared for myself by how little I understood.

• 1:01:10Connor Wood?

When it ended, I was like...

• 1:01:11Brooke Averick?

When it ended, I was like, "When did it start?" And what hap- yeah. Okay, more of the story, I didn't get it.

• 1:01:18Connor Wood?

You know what, Brooke? I didn't get it either.

• 1:01:20Brooke Averick?

And that's why we have a comment.

• 1:01:21Connor Wood?

That's like a cool thing that we both.

• 1:01:24Brooke Averick?

  And I don't think we're alone.

• 1:01:24Connor Wood?

  I'm not gonna revisit it.

• 1:01:25Brooke Averick?

I don't think we're alone, and I do think that the people that do understand it, like, they should be escorted immediately to the White House.

• 1:01:32Connor Wood?

I think, like, if I'm gonna watch a movie about space...

• 1:01:37Brooke Averick?

Oh, I forgot how much you don't like space.

• 1:01:38Connor Wood?

  Hate space.

• 1:01:39Brooke Averick?

  Shoot.

• 1:01:40Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:40Brooke Averick?

Yeah, you must not have liked that, huh?

• 1:01:42Connor Wood?

I hated it. I was having a panic.

• 1:01:44Brooke Averick?

And I thought the spaceships were tanks, like war, war tanks.

• 1:01:48Connor Wood?

  I don't even remember seeing a spaceship.

• 1:01:50Brooke Averick?

  I know. Moving on.

• 1:01:51Connor Wood?

  In the movie. Alright.

• 1:01:53Brooke Averick?

Um, so Paul Rudd was voted the sexiest man alive. Agree, disagree?

• 1:01:58Connor Wood?

  Agree.

• 1:01:59Brooke Averick?

  I mean...

• 1:01:59Connor Wood?

  I think he's hilarious, too.

• 1:02:00Brooke Averick?

  100%.

• 1:02:01Connor Wood?

  Look at us.

• 1:02:02Brooke Averick?

I don't even, look at us, look at us. I don't even think there's anything to say, like, "Yeah, of course he's the sexiest man alive." I mean, come on. And it's, he gets better to be Paul Rudd and wake up every morning and look in the mirror and say, "I look better every single day." That's, what a feeling.

• 1:02:17Connor Wood?

  He just like...

• 1:02:19Brooke Averick?

Like, think, even like, when he was on Clueless, like, cute, but not that.

• 1:02:23Connor Wood?

No, but you know what? He was on Friends. He looked better than he looked on Friends 40 years ago, or whenever they filmed that.

• 1:02:29Brooke Averick?

Like, he gets better looking every day. It's scary. He must have the Sorcerer's Stone or some sort of...

• 1:02:35Connor Wood?

  Is that what keeps...

• 1:02:36Brooke Averick?

People alive and, and looking young.

• 1:02:39Connor Wood?

Who had that in the Harry Potter movie?

• 1:02:41Brooke Averick?

  Um, Dumbledore. Well...

• 1:02:44Brooke Averick?

Basically, at the beginning of the movie-

• 1:02:45Connor Wood?

  He's no Paul Rudd.

• 1:02:46Brooke Averick?

He's no Paul Rudd. Basically, at the beginning of the movie, it was in the, um, bank. And then Hagrid took it and hid it. And then Voldemort was trying to get it. Okay. You can watch if you-

• 1:02:56Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:02:57Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I mean, nothing, nothing but good things to say about Paul.

• 1:03:01Connor Wood?

  Proud.

• 1:03:02Brooke Averick?

  Proud to be-

• 1:03:03Connor Wood?

  Proud to be an American.

• 1:03:04Brooke Averick?

An American. Where Paul Rudd is the sexiest man alive. Yeah, proud of my country, finally. Finally. You have my vote.

• 1:03:11Connor Wood?

  It's my president.

• 1:03:12Brooke Averick?

That is my president. Okay. Oh, you were telling me about this.

• 1:03:16Connor Wood?

I don't even wanna talk about it.

• 1:03:18Brooke Averick?

  Okay, that's completely fine.

• 1:03:19Connor Wood?

  Kendall Jenner in her dress.

• 1:03:22Brooke Averick?

I just saw it, seconds ago. I mean, I'm torn, because on one hand, like, if you are Kendall Jenner, and you look like that-

• 1:03:30Connor Wood?

  She's a spectacle.

• 1:03:31Brooke Averick?

Right, and you look like that, sure, go ahead, wear that dress. But I do think, know your place, know your time.

• 1:03:37Connor Wood?

  The thing is, like-

• 1:03:38Brooke Averick?

That you shouldn't have worn that to your friend's wedding.

• 1:03:40Connor Wood?

  She didn't.

• 1:03:41Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 1:03:41Connor Wood?

She wore a bridesmaid's dress that was-

• 1:03:43Brooke Averick?

  Then where'd she wear it?

• 1:03:44Connor Wood?

The same as Gigi Hadid, to the reception. The party.

• 1:03:47Brooke Averick?

The reception, of course. And the bride was still in her bride gown?

• 1:03:50Connor Wood?

Yeah, no. Yeah, no. No, no, no. She, they changed. They went to the reception and shook some ass.

• 1:03:55Brooke Averick?

I think I get confused. Does the bride not wear her wedding dress to the reception?

• 1:03:58Connor Wood?

She wears, you wear to the reception, and then I think a lot of brides change into something more flirty and fun.

• 1:04:05Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 1:04:05Connor Wood?

  To, to dance.

• 1:04:07Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 1:04:08Connor Wood?

I could be wrong. I have never been invited.

• 1:04:10Brooke Averick?

I feel like every, people just keep wearing their wedding dresses, but whatever.

• 1:04:13Connor Wood?

  Well, different jokes.

• 1:04:15Brooke Averick?

  Different jokes.

• 1:04:15Connor Wood?

  Different folks.

• 1:04:16Brooke Averick?

  Yep.

• 1:04:16Connor Wood?

I think, what I will say is, like, if I invited Kendall Jenner to my wedding-

• 1:04:20Brooke Averick?

I'd ask her to, I'd forcibly remove her.

• 1:04:22Connor Wood?

  No, I'm like-

• 1:04:23Brooke Averick?

  You wouldn't?

• 1:04:24Connor Wood?

  It's impressed for my wedding.

• 1:04:25Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 1:04:25Connor Wood?

She's in every, she's got headlines about this wedding, cuz she's, that's why you get invited. If you don't want her dressing like that, like, don't invite-

• 1:04:32Brooke Averick?

  I'd, I'd-

• 1:04:32Connor Wood?

One of the most gorgeous people.

• 1:04:34Brooke Averick?

No, I think if I ever wasn't even in the same room as Kendall, I'd, I'd, I'd ask for her to be removed.

• 1:04:39Connor Wood?

I think, like, I would expect-

• 1:04:41Brooke Averick?

Love her, but I don't wanna be anywhere in a tent-

• 1:04:43Connor Wood?

Right. No, that was me, that was me meeting, like-

• 1:04:46Brooke Averick?

  Jacob Elordi?

• 1:04:47Connor Wood?

Who should I talk about? Jacob Elordi, Tyler Cameron.

• 1:04:49Brooke Averick?

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:04:52Brooke Averick?

At least you didn't almost throw up on Tyler Cameron, speaking of.

• 1:04:55Connor Wood?

  That's true.

• 1:04:56Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:04:56Connor Wood?

  It was rough for you.

• 1:04:57Brooke Averick?

Yeah. And that was from, we went on a plane that did 15 parabolas.

• 1:05:03Connor Wood?

  Parabolas.

• 1:05:03Brooke Averick?

  For a Dr. Pepper campaign.

• 1:05:05Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:06Brooke Averick?

And they said to us, no one really, it's pretty rare that you would get motion sick, but just in case.

• 1:05:11Connor Wood?

Brooke was like five minutes in, I couldn't find her, they strapped her to the ground because we were in zero gravity. I'm doing backflips and Brooke is, has this giant like captain of this plane like on her.

• 1:05:22Brooke Averick?

  He was so sweet.

• 1:05:22Connor Wood?

Holding her down to the ground and she's white in the face.

• 1:05:25Brooke Averick?

Right. And then I was throwing up into this bag and they, you have to hold the bag like

• 1:05:30Connor Wood?

  Because we're in zero gravity.

• 1:05:31Brooke Averick?

On your face, basically, or your throw up will float.

• 1:05:34Connor Wood?

And Tyler Cameron and Dale Moss are just like floating by her.

• 1:05:37Brooke Averick?

  And I'm just like, ah.

• 1:05:38Connor Wood?

And she's vomiting into a bag. That was funny.

• 1:05:41Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:41Connor Wood?

Um, okay, this is gonna be fun.

• 1:05:43Brooke Averick?

  I agree.

• 1:05:43Connor Wood?

We have another segment, audience advice, um, that our followers, that our vast amount of followers sent in.

• 1:05:51Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 1:05:52Connor Wood?

  To ask for advice.

• 1:05:53Brooke Averick?

And we are so happy to give you advice as two well-rounded.

• 1:05:57Connor Wood?

  Spot to give advice.

• 1:05:58Brooke Averick?

  Successful 25-year-olds.

• 1:06:00Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:06:00Brooke Averick?

  We're looking forward to it.

• 1:06:01Connor Wood?

Going into this advice segment, I do want to say, no, I don't. Okay, go ahead.

• 1:06:05Brooke Averick?

Okay. Well, I, you know, I don't have my glasses, so would you mind reading the first one?

• 1:06:08Connor Wood?

I can do it. So this first question, request came in from at Wheelspoon on one social platform.

• 1:06:18Connor Wood?

My roommate is the worst and will not do the dishes. Been there. Two questions. One, what's your worst roommate you've ever had? And two, how do I get them to do the goddamn dishes?

• 1:06:30Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 1:06:30Connor Wood?

Jump in here. Tap, tap in.

• 1:06:33Brooke Averick?

I'll tap. Um, what comes to mind when I think of the worst roommate I've ever had was senior year of college. I was obsessed with making chicken soup and I lived.

• 1:06:45Connor Wood?

  Yum.

• 1:06:45Brooke Averick?

Yum. So good, right? And I lived with five girls. I mean, I had our own rooms.

• 1:06:51Connor Wood?

  Sorry.

• 1:06:51Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Do you have anything else you want to add about soup?

• 1:06:53Connor Wood?

  It's just soup is good.

• 1:06:55Brooke Averick?

Um, and I had this like really nice giant soup pot that my mom got me because she was really like proud of me for learning how to cook and making healthy meals. And it was like this expensive, nice pot. And one day I couldn't find it when I went to go make my soup and like a pot, a big pot is not something that just like goes missing.

• 1:07:14Connor Wood?

Oh shit, is it gonna be in this girl's room?

• 1:07:17Brooke Averick?

So I'm looking everywhere and then finally I'm like, I'll check this girl's room. Like, why would it be there? But she just like takes cups sometimes and hordes them. And I was like, I don't see why a pot would be there. She's using my pot as a trash can?

• 1:07:29Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 1:07:30Brooke Averick?

  For Q-tips, dirty Q-tips. I can't make that up.

• 1:07:35Connor Wood?

  Beat her up.

• 1:07:37Brooke Averick?

I didn't even say anything. I just took the pot. And of course, me is like thinking, oh, is she gonna be mad at me because I went into her room without asking? But then you have to.

• 1:07:44Connor Wood?

Me apologizing to the Toyota Corolla that hit me.

• 1:07:47Brooke Averick?

Um, but no, I would say that was like the most

• 1:07:50Connor Wood?

  That's vile.

• 1:07:51Brooke Averick?

startling roommate experience that I've ever had. And what I did about that was didn't speak to her and was passive aggressive for the next six months of the lease.

• 1:08:01Connor Wood?

  Yeah, sure.

• 1:08:02Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:08:03Connor Wood?

Um, my worst roommate experience was 2019, I lived with two adult men. And they got in a fight and got restraining orders on each other. And I had to be the medium between that to communicate because they weren't allowed to talk to each other, even though we lived in a three bedroom apartment.

• 1:08:25Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 1:08:26Connor Wood?

  So that would be.

• 1:08:27Brooke Averick?

  By law, they weren't.

• 1:08:27Connor Wood?

By law, they weren't allowed to speak. And I hated them both. Anyway, well, I can't say that. Well, yeah, I can. I hated them both. Um, and so that was crazy.

• 1:08:36Brooke Averick?

  That's bad.

• 1:08:37Connor Wood?

I had to like on the weekend stuff, go to the police and to like finish their case. And I was like, I don't care if they live or die. Honestly, like, I definitely don't care if they're like buddies after this. So that was it. And then.

• 1:08:51Brooke Averick?

Were they fighting constantly or not speaking to each other?

• 1:08:54Connor Wood?

Um, one of them got mad. So this was, this is interesting, actually. So like, one of them got really sick in February of 2020, or.

• 1:09:02Brooke Averick?

  Like

• 1:09:02Connor Wood?

Yeah, February of 2020. So it was like February, like right before March, which is when everybody went into lockdown. And like, we were hearing about this thing, COVID. But it was like in China only, like it wasn't in the US. And I was like, ew, that's gross. But like this, this guy worked from home already. So he would like lay on the couch all day and he was like so sick. And he was using all the dishes. And I was like, I'm just gonna not ever interact with him until, and like, it's just gross vibes. And my one roommate was like, dude, he's laying on the couch. COVID is like happening. Like, what if he has COVID? We can't be anywhere near him and he's using all the dishes and like leaving them in the sink after like glasses that we'd like touch our lips to.

• 1:09:44Brooke Averick?

Did you have a preference? In your roommates? Like, did you like the one that had COVID a little bit better?

• 1:09:48Connor Wood?

No, no, no, the opposite. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But um, so I heard them one night I got home from a run. They got in a fight and then I heard them hitting each other. And then they got, the one roommate was like, they're 30 by the way.

• 1:09:57Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 1:09:58Connor Wood?

Like 3-0, like, like in their 30s now. And, you know, don't get in a quarrel. Like, figure it out.

• 1:10:08Brooke Averick?

Right, right. Like you're a grown man, you can

• 1:10:09Connor Wood?

They got in a fight because they also shared an Amazon account.

• 1:10:13Brooke Averick?

  Were they friends before?

• 1:10:15Connor Wood?

  No, no.

• 1:10:17Brooke Averick?

  So they just

• 1:10:17Connor Wood?

There's so much wrong with it. I could talk about that for an hour, but

• 1:10:20Brooke Averick?

Wow. Okay, and how would you like go about navigating that and getting them?

• 1:10:25Connor Wood?

Oh, I got let go of my job the next week and then never, I broke my lease and never talked to

• 1:10:30Brooke Averick?

So I guess what me and Connor would say in reference to how do I get them to do the goddamn dishes is be passive aggressive and don't speak to them and leave the situation. Remove yourself

• 1:10:39Connor Wood?

  Buy your own dishes?

• 1:10:40Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:10:41Connor Wood?

  Well, no.

• 1:10:42Brooke Averick?

  Well,

• 1:10:44Brooke Averick?

we are good at advice, huh?

• 1:10:46Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:10:46Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:10:46Connor Wood?

Oh, one thing, one thing I used to do, talking about passive aggressive, this is the worst, this is the worst thing I've ever done. Senior year, my senior year, I lived with five guys. And any, their one roommate specifically was just gross. And I was like, you gotta do your dishes. And it was just him every single time.

• 1:11:03Brooke Averick?

Say that to him? Because I was thinking an option would be to say, would you mind doing dishes?

• 1:11:08Connor Wood?

Anytime, any, it, anytime I would call him, I'd be like, oh my God, I'm sorry. Like, oh my God, like, my bad. And I'm like, well, now I seem like a dick.

• 1:11:16Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 1:11:16Connor Wood?

And I was just like, you're gross. Like, so I started putting his plates like in front of his door of his bedroom, like on the ground.

• 1:11:22Brooke Averick?

  Wow.

• 1:11:23Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:11:23Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I mean, I think like the first thing that a rational person would do that me and Connor probably have not done would say,

• 1:11:30Connor Wood?

Hey, would you mind pitching in a little bit more and doing the dishes?

• 1:11:33Brooke Averick?

Like, I think that's normal. I have not done that when I've had issues.

• 1:11:37Connor Wood?

  No, just

• 1:11:37Brooke Averick?

And I've had tons of them.

• 1:11:38Connor Wood?

I'll key your car before I ask you to do the dishes.

• 1:11:40Brooke Averick?

That being said, one of my roommates asked me if I could, if I, like, super sweetly, like, would you mind taking out the trash more? And I was, like, didn't speak to her for three weeks. I was like, fuck you.

• 1:11:50Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:11:50Brooke Averick?

  How dare you?

• 1:11:51Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:11:51Brooke Averick?

Ask me that. And I didn't take out the trash.

• 1:11:55Brooke Averick?

Yeah. And now I'm reflecting on that.

• 1:11:58Connor Wood?

  That's good.

• 1:11:59Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it's about personal growth. If I had been in that situation now, I would have said, sure.

• 1:12:03Connor Wood?

  Watch that space.

• 1:12:04Brooke Averick?

Watch that space. I'll watch the space for the trash and I'll be taking it out.

• 1:12:07Connor Wood?

Yeah, well, now you live alone.

• 1:12:09Brooke Averick?

I've grown. I do. I love living alone.

• 1:12:10Connor Wood?

  I live alone as well.

• 1:12:11Brooke Averick?

I know. Do you love it?

• 1:12:12Connor Wood?

  Hmm, I don't know.

• 1:12:13Brooke Averick?

I know, you're still warming up to it.

• 1:12:15Connor Wood?

I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I like, there's a spider in my house and like, I'm not gonna kill it cuz it feels nice to have company.

• 1:12:20Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I will be killing them. I love having no one near me, I think.

• 1:12:26Connor Wood?

  Cool.

• 1:12:26Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:12:27Connor Wood?

Um, so the next question is from Jack reached her, at Jack reached her. Uh, my new girlfriend wants to come over to my apartment for dinner tonight. But the only thing I have to cook with is my air fryer. What should I do? How do I impress her?

• 1:12:42Brooke Averick?

I mean, you came to the right pair.

• 1:12:44Connor Wood?

  You came to the right

• 1:12:45Brooke Averick?

We just both separately bought air fryers.

• 1:12:48Connor Wood?

  Air fryers.

• 1:12:49Brooke Averick?

And, I mean, it changed my life. Not having to bend down to turn on the oven. Like, that's, like, what more could you ask for? That's what I love about my air fryer.

• 1:13:01Connor Wood?

I could go on for my entire life. Like, I could talk for an hour and a half about my air fryer. Actually, my last TikTok I posted was

• 1:13:07Brooke Averick?

You talking about your air fryer.

• 1:13:08Connor Wood?

Just sixty seconds of me being like, I'm stoked, like, I wanna join a Facebook group.

• 1:13:11Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 1:13:12Connor Wood?

Like, I wanna, like, know everything I can do with this. Like, I

• 1:13:15Brooke Averick?

  It's your baby.

• 1:13:16Connor Wood?

It's my baby. Like, it is my son and I'm, like, proud of it. You know, like, I can't wait to get home and, like, throw what, like, whatever I have. And it can do anything. I think it would be really impressive to cook a full meal in an air fryer.

• 1:13:26Brooke Averick?

Something that you do that's interesting that I don't do is you throw everything in at once. Like quesadillas, nuggets.

• 1:13:34Brooke Averick?

  Whatever, meatballs.

• 1:13:36Connor Wood?

  Empanadas.

• 1:13:37Brooke Averick?

  Empana- all in at once.

• 1:13:38Connor Wood?

  Pasta.

• 1:13:39Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, everything in at once.

• 1:13:40Connor Wood?

I could throw up. Mmm, oh my god, I'm so hungry.

• 1:13:43Brooke Averick?

So what would you recommend he make in the air fryer?

• 1:13:44Connor Wood?

I mean, you name it. I, I, um, you can look up online, like, full course meal via air fryer.

• 1:13:51Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:13:51Connor Wood?

There is an abundance of articles. Like, you could do a steak. You could do, you could do, ready? You could do a steak, two steaks, whatever. You can cook them at the same time, depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook to perfection, mind you. It is, it's just like, we're so lucky to live on the plane of exist, on a reality where air fryers can fully cook a steak to perfection. Like, I'm, I just got the chills a little bit.

• 1:14:17Brooke Averick?

I'm just getting really hot in here.

• 1:14:19Connor Wood?

Oh shit. Oh god. Uh, and Paul Rudd's a sexy man and, and alive.

• 1:14:24Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:14:24Connor Wood?

We're just, it's a special time. Um, I do, I would do, depending on what your preference is, I'll go, I'll do a couple. Steak cooked to perfection. You can do medium rare, and there's settings on it. Just like, look it up. Uh, and a baked potato. And guess what? You can get frozen greens from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods or something, and throw them in there, and you could do veggie. You could have all the food groups.

• 1:14:44Brooke Averick?

  You could.

• 1:14:44Connor Wood?

  Veggie, starch, meat.

• 1:14:47Brooke Averick?

Do you put your veggies in with your meat at the same time? Because there's two different settings.

• 1:14:52Connor Wood?

  Hmm, no, I don't.

• 1:14:53Brooke Averick?

Yeah, okay. I was just checking.

• 1:14:55Connor Wood?

Cause meat has to be cooked.

• 1:14:56Brooke Averick?

Right, differently than the veggies. So you would just move forward with the steak and the empanadas together, and the veggies separate?

• 1:15:03Connor Wood?

No, I wouldn't do empanadas and steak together.

• 1:15:05Brooke Averick?

  You wouldn't? Okay.

• 1:15:07Connor Wood?

  No.

• 1:15:09Connor Wood?

So the next question is from Michelle, My Smell. Um, "Yesterday I woke up with a massive nosebleed and I got blood all over myself. The only problem is that I didn't realize until I got to school and everyone saw." Ooh.

• 1:15:24Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:15:24Connor Wood?

Yikes. "How am I ever going to get my classmates to stop calling me Bloody Mary? How do you keep your chin up when you're embarrassed, when you embarrass yourself in high school?"

• 1:15:34Brooke Averick?

I think like you just have to completely reclaim and own the experience. And like, instead of having other people call you Bloody Mary, you need to start calling yourself Bloody Mary. And then it'll just die down. Cause no one's gonna stop, no one's gonna care if you care. You know? What do you think?

• 1:15:54Brooke Averick?

Like, I would just full send be a bloody mary.

• 1:15:57Connor Wood?

  You would?

• 1:15:58Brooke Averick?

  Like, that's how I cope.

• 1:15:59Connor Wood?

  Go to Hot Topic and...

• 1:16:00Brooke Averick?

Anything embar- that's like, my whole thing is, anything embarrassing that happens to me, I'm posting it on TikTok.

• 1:16:05Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:16:06Brooke Averick?

Like, I'm getting ahead of it.

• 1:16:08Connor Wood?

Like, yeah, for sure. That's a good...

• 1:16:09Brooke Averick?

Everybody knows my most embarrassing, like, you'll know.

• 1:16:12Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:16:12Brooke Averick?

If something embarrassing happens to me.

• 1:16:13Connor Wood?

How do you go to school? I mean, I just don't really feel sorry for this person because I did not realize you're covered in blood.

• 1:16:20Brooke Averick?

  Well...

• 1:16:21Connor Wood?

You woke up covered in blood. No offense.

• 1:16:24Brooke Averick?

Yeah, that is an interesting situation.

• 1:16:26Connor Wood?

I had one experience just like that.

• 1:16:28Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 1:16:28Connor Wood?

Yeah, it's kind of raunchy, but I'm gonna, should I tell you?

• 1:16:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, would you?

• 1:16:32Connor Wood?

Um, I was in high school. I think it was senior year, and I was at like, a house party. And I got a bloody nose, but I didn't know, and I was with a girl.

• 1:16:41Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:16:42Connor Wood?

In a bathroom, like, a half-bath, so there was like, barely room. And we were kissing, and I was

• 1:16:53Connor Wood?

facing her, and there was a mirror behind her.

• 1:16:57Brooke Averick?

  That's terrifying.

• 1:16:57Connor Wood?

And I looked, and it was like, darkish, but I was like, there's shit all over my face. And then I like, turned on the light, and like, it was all over her face too. So we both looked bloody.

• 1:17:09Brooke Averick?

That's, and it must have taken a minute to find the source too. That's the scary part.

• 1:17:13Connor Wood?

I was like, is she bleeding or am I bleeding?

• 1:17:14Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 1:17:15Connor Wood?

I was bleeding, it was me. I didn't, I haven't talked to her.

• 1:17:18Brooke Averick?

See, in that situation, I would probably like, not even clean myself up. I would just walk out and be like, "Guys, this happened to me."

• 1:17:26Connor Wood?

Um, this did, this, basically, this did happen to me. And I was just like,

• 1:17:31Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 1:17:32Connor Wood?

Well, what are you gonna do? I don't think nosebleeds are embarrassing.

• 1:17:34Brooke Averick?

  I don't either.

• 1:17:35Connor Wood?

I think it's kinda sick. I would, if I got in a real...

• 1:17:37Brooke Averick?

  I don't think they're sick, but I don't think it's like, ew.

• 1:17:39Connor Wood?

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:17:40Brooke Averick?

You know? I think like, yeah, I don't think blood is like, ew. Okay.

• 1:17:46Connor Wood?

  Cool.

• 1:17:46Brooke Averick?

That's what I'm feeling. Okay, I mean, we've been talking for a really long time.

• 1:17:50Connor Wood?

We've been talking for so long. Um, you gotta run off and do anything today?

• 1:17:54Brooke Averick?

  Um, not, no, do you?

• 1:17:57Connor Wood?

I'm booked and busy. I gotta go.

• 1:17:58Brooke Averick?

You're booked and busy? What are you doing?

• 1:17:59Connor Wood?

I'm gonna go to Venice and I am on the Friday Beers podcast this afternoon.

• 1:18:04Brooke Averick?

  Today?

• 1:18:05Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:18:05Brooke Averick?

Wow. You've been doing a lot of talking today. I will, I mean, probably go knit or something?

• 1:18:11Connor Wood?

  Cool.

• 1:18:11Brooke Averick?

  I don't know. I'm making a special project.

• 1:18:13Connor Wood?

Feel free to ever make me.

• 1:18:16Brooke Averick?

  Would you wear something?

• 1:18:16Connor Wood?

Something. If you could make me a whole sweater, I'll pay for it.

• 1:18:19Brooke Averick?

Okay. You never expressed any interest in my knitting.

• 1:18:24Brooke Averick?

All right, that's all the time we have. Um, thanks for.

• 1:18:28Connor Wood?

  Thank you guys for listening.

• 1:18:30Brooke Averick?

  Seriously.

• 1:18:30Connor Wood?

  Yeah, that was.

• 1:18:31Brooke Averick?

  It was a blast.

• 1:18:32Connor Wood?

That was, I mean, this, you're, you're watching Brooke and Connor make a podcast.

• 1:18:37Brooke Averick?

  You are.

• 1:18:38Connor Wood?

And that is what it is. At the end of what is, what we were talking about is this.

• 1:18:42Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:18:42Connor Wood?

And it's happened. And it's happened. And I think.

• 1:18:44Brooke Averick?

  And hopefully it'll happen again.

• 1:18:46Connor Wood?

  Soon.

• 1:18:51Connor Wood?

  Cool.

• 1:18:52Brooke Averick?

  Hi, everyone.

• 1:18:52Connor Wood?

  Hi.

• 1:18:54Brooke Averick?

• 1:18:56Connor Wood?

But she was able to, as they say in France, jack him off, um, during The Simpsons movie. I tricked you into being on this podcast, kind of.

  Not really.
