I get so many headaches every month.

• 0:02Speaker 01

It could be chronic migraine, 15 or more headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more.

• 0:07Speaker 02

Botox, onabotulinum toxin A, prevents headaches in adults with chronic migraine. It's not for those who have 14 or fewer headache days a month. Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor. Effects of Botox may spread hours to weeks after injection, causing serious symptoms. Alert your doctor right away, as difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems, or muscle weakness can be signs of a life-threatening condition. Patients with these conditions before injection are at highest risk. Side effects may include allergic reactions, neck and injection site pain, fatigue, and headache. Allergic reactions can include rash, welts, asthma symptoms, and dizziness. Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection. Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions, including ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease, Myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton Syndrome, and medications, including botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects.

• 1:38Brooke Averick?

If you could pick one feeling to never experience for the rest of your life, what would it be? Have I already asked this?

• 1:46Connor Wood?

Well, I know what yours is.

• 1:48Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 1:49Connor Wood?

Nausea, but mine would be anxiety, for sure.

• 1:51Brooke Averick?

We have done, this is something we've done, because I was just thinking...

• 1:54Connor Wood?

No, you just don't like nausea.

• 1:56Brooke Averick?

Would I rather never experience nausea or anxiety? I was just thinking that. But they're so closely linked.

• 2:03Connor Wood?

Yeah, because you could get anxious about how nauseous you are.

• 2:07Brooke Averick?

And nauseous about how anxious you are.

• 2:09Connor Wood?

  For sure.

• 2:28Brooke Averick?

I would never experience nausea. We've, I'm sorry, we've had this conversation. It's like, there's only so many topics.

• 2:36Connor Wood?

Well, I'll, I'll tell you one that's kind of like, pretty closely related to, related to both of those.

• 2:40Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 2:42Connor Wood?

I picked up this new... I used to drink a lot of kombucha.

• 2:46Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 2:47Connor Wood?

I don't know what, like, I kind of just like, you know me. If people are like, this is the, this is good for you, and this is like, the new thing, I'm just gonna start doing it. Retta.

• 2:57Brooke Averick?

  That... Kombucha's been around.

• 3:00Connor Wood?

I know kombucha's like, old as dirt, but...

• 3:03Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 3:03Connor Wood?

  The like, GT, GTS kombucha.

• 3:07Brooke Averick?

Oh, I didn't know about the GTS model.

• 3:09Connor Wood?

Is it GT's? It's something. It's GT's, I think. I started getting this, like, in college, because at my office that I worked at, they had it for free in the fridge. And I was drinking them pretty constantly, and I just saw them again, and I was like, that sounds good to me. This specific flavor, Vital C, is genuinely a Four Loko.

• 3:31Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 3:32Connor Wood?

Yeah, have you had a Four Loko?

• 3:33Brooke Averick?

I was just about to say, you know, I've never even, it's never even touched my lips.

• 3:37Connor Wood?

Okay, I'm gonna try to think of something. Think about if you mix...

• 3:41Brooke Averick?

  Chemical.

• 3:43Connor Wood?

If you mix together cologne with like,

• 3:49Connor Wood?

like a, like a fruit punch Capri Sun. That is what a Four Loko tastes like.

• 3:55Brooke Averick?

It's not, that doesn't sound like horrible.

• 3:58Connor Wood?

  My, cologne?

• 4:00Brooke Averick?

I don't know. I mean, that sounds better than like vodka to me.

• 4:05Connor Wood?

  Oh, Lord.

• 4:07Brooke Averick?

I remember the first time I was exposed to drinking was a Four Loko, like, we were at some kid's birthday party, and there was a Four Loko hidden in the bathroom, and everyone was like, going and taking sips of it, and then coming back out. And my friend, one of my best friends took a sip, and I was like, I don't, I honestly don't think I can be friends with you anymore.

• 4:27Connor Wood?

We... Did I tell you about my, the Halloween, that we did something similar?

• 4:34Brooke Averick?

  By the river?

• 4:36Connor Wood?

The Halloween, it was a lake, but yeah.

• 4:38Brooke Averick?

By the lake, yeah. And you threw them in.

• 4:41Connor Wood?

Yeah, but I was a bumblebee costume.

• 4:43Brooke Averick?

It's only so many new topics.

• 4:44Connor Wood?

My, my friends were all, yeah, there's only, listen, if someone, someone might have started listening today and you can listen to this story. I think we were 12 and my friends were older than me. So they were like a level of like, let's go out to my dad's fridge in the garage and we'll take some beer. And they put them in, because I was a fat bumblebee for Halloween.

• 5:03Brooke Averick?

  Yes, yes, I know this.

• 5:04Connor Wood?

And it zipped from the back and they were like, we're gonna put the beers into your fat bumblebee costume. And they did just that. And so I'm wobbling through the house, just fat as can be, full of beers. And then we had one, we opened one and then we threw the rest into the, into the lake. And then they started bobbing around like cauliflower and they're floating towards the house that all of our parents are at the, the back yard of. Oh, that was nightmare fuel.

• 5:31Brooke Averick?

12 is, feels really, really young.

• 5:34Connor Wood?

  I always say 12.

• 5:36Brooke Averick?

Like, I'm pretty sure I was still like talking to my stuffed animals.

• 5:41Connor Wood?

That tracks for both of us.

• 5:43Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I, I mean, I still check in with my stuffies.

• 5:48Connor Wood?

It is hard to shake that feeling that that, there is, there is a living, breathing sentience in my sealy.

• 5:56Brooke Averick?

Like, you're tell, you're tell, like, you can't tell me that there's nothing there.

• 6:02Connor Wood?

You can't tell me that there's nothing there because the, the actual physical, almost debilitating guilt I felt for chewing off Sealy's whiskers so I could fall asleep every night, makes me still, still makes me feel very, very full.

• 6:20Connor Wood?

Not because I ate the whiskers, but because like I actually feel probably a little sick.

• 6:24Brooke Averick?

  Nausea meets anxiety mode.

• 6:26Connor Wood?

I chewed his nose off too.

• 6:30Connor Wood?

I chewed his nose clean off.

• 6:33Brooke Averick?

  And swallowed it?

• 6:34Connor Wood?

  Straight off.

• 6:35Brooke Averick?

  Did you swallow it?

• 6:37Connor Wood?

Probably a decent amount of his nose, yeah, probably swallowed it.

• 6:40Brooke Averick?

Was it, it was like a hard, I'm picturing like hard shell?

• 6:44Connor Wood?

No, this was a very nice stuffy.

• 6:46Brooke Averick?

Oh, it was, was it threaded?

• 6:48Connor Wood?

It was an elevated stuffy. Um, I think the nose was more leather, which you can eat leather.

• 6:52Brooke Averick?

  Oh, leather.

• 6:53Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 6:53Brooke Averick?

  It was leather bound.

• 6:55Connor Wood?

He's not leather bound, his nose was leather. Like felted leather.

• 6:59Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 6:59Connor Wood?

Soft nose. Cause he was a soft nose seal, I think. Like a white.

• 7:03Brooke Averick?

Hodgepodge's nose is, Hodgepodge is a Beanie Baby.

• 7:06Connor Wood?

  Is Hodgepodge with us?

• 7:08Brooke Averick?

Do they still actively sell Beanie Babies? Or are they all?

• 7:12Brooke Averick?

  Like antiques?

• 7:14Connor Wood?

I don't know, I could, I could definitely see, and this is pretty tragic, I could see like Labubu putting Beanie Baby out of business, which is sad to think about.

• 7:22Brooke Averick?

Who putting Beanie Baby out of business? Oh, well, not Beanie Baby.

• 7:28Connor Wood?

Who put Baby Baby in the?

• 7:32Brooke Averick?

Izzy, can you see if Hodgepodge is still for sale?

• 7:35Connor Wood?

Izzy, see if they still sell Beanie Baby?

• 7:38Brooke Averick?

Just on eBay for $5? That's extremely hurtful. He's worth so much more. Aww. 2002. He's so cute. He's a good boy.

• 7:55Connor Wood?

  Is Hodgepodge still with us?

• 7:57Brooke Averick?

Of course. I sleep with Hodge every night.

• 8:01Connor Wood?

  I didn't know that.

• 8:02Brooke Averick?

Yes, like if you listened, you would have.

• 8:06Brooke Averick?

I have a tattoo of him on my arm.

• 8:08Connor Wood?

  I know, I know that.

• 8:09Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 8:10Connor Wood?

I thought that was like a memoriam, in memoriam of Hodgepodge.

• 8:12Brooke Averick?

  It's like honoring him.

• 8:14Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 8:14Brooke Averick?

  As he lives and breathes.

• 8:18Connor Wood?

Well, that's fabulous. What did it, what have, so I, I mean, I saw you, welcome back to Burke and Connor Make a Podcast two as well. Um. When, have you, what has happened since I saw you last? I know that we have like an un-

• 8:32Connor Wood?

Our, our schedule of late has been just brilliant.

• 8:36Brooke Averick?

  F'd.

• 8:37Connor Wood?

  Kind of F'd, yeah.

• 8:38Brooke Averick?

It's been F'd. Are you still, the last we spoke, you were thinking of moving?

• 8:46Connor Wood?

I am out. No, I'm not completely out, but like I am, like in my mind, I have made several phone calls. I physically have made several phone calls.

• 8:55Brooke Averick?

In your mind, you've made several phone calls.

• 8:57Connor Wood?

In my mind, I have, I have, and I have a plan to make several phone calls.

• 9:00Brooke Averick?

Yeah. So, but in terms of action, have you done anything?

• 9:06Connor Wood?

Yes. I, this is the one time I have been like, get your ass up and move. Cause I'm like, this is just not, it's just not conducive for me and it's, it's making me not, it's making me not feel so good. So I've sent several emails to no response, which is so funny. And then I've made some phone calls as well, but we are moving.

• 9:28Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 9:29Connor Wood?

And I'm, I'm, I'm going to be marked safe. But um, it's funny cause this weekend I had all my college friends come in town. And I was like, I, my place was like the option to have people, like it was just like in between our like, we went on a boat during the day.

• 9:48Brooke Averick?

  I went on a boat.

• 9:49Connor Wood?

You went on a boat too?

• 9:51Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I didn't know you went on a boat.

• 9:53Connor Wood?

Yeah, we went on a boat down the, down the Hudson. It was amazing. Not like, not like splish splash boat, a bunch of people like, our friends like brought bathing suits, thinking it was gonna be like, when we went to college in Austin. Boat party meant like, you know, where your bathing suit and.

• 10:11Connor Wood?

I was just, you simply, that's just simply not, not, we were like over by the Statue of Liberty and they're like, when can we get off? And I was like, what did you? Um, but yeah, I had people over and it was actually really lovely having people over. Cause at nighttime, it doesn't matter what, how much, how much light you get into your apartment. It's not as depressing because it's lovely having guests over. But they were like, why are you moving? This is amazing. And I was, you haven't seen it at noon.

• 10:36Brooke Averick?

Like just from what I had seen of it at nighttime, it looks like a pretty good space. So I would maybe give it, maybe give it a few weeks before you make any decisions.

• 10:46Connor Wood?

  I'm not willing or able.

• 10:48Brooke Averick?

  Sounds good.

• 10:50Connor Wood?

I need daytime. I need daytime.

• 10:52Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 10:54Brooke Averick?

I just wonder what you thought before about a basement cellar.

• 10:57Connor Wood?

  What?

• 10:58Brooke Averick?

I just wonder like what you thought was gonna happen with a basement like cellar.

• 11:02Connor Wood?

I'm not in a basement. I'm on the ground floor.

• 11:07Brooke Averick?

I wouldn't call it the ground floor if you have to go down steps.

• 11:12Connor Wood?

But I'm touching the backyard. I'm at sea level with the backyard.

• 11:16Brooke Averick?

But your front door, like, don't you have to go down steps?

• 11:19Connor Wood?

  Sure.

• 11:20Brooke Averick?

I would call that slightly below sea level.

• 11:24Connor Wood?

Okay, but the backyard is on, on par with the house?

• 11:28Brooke Averick?

  I guess.

• 11:30Connor Wood?

  Okay, well anyways, yeah.

• 11:30Brooke Averick?

You know how like sand isn't always even, you know, there's drop offs and sandbars and stuff like that? Like, your backyard's on, like, on a higher, like, sandbar?

• 11:40Connor Wood?

  So you...

• 11:43Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 11:45Connor Wood?

Okay, I see. Yeah, that does make sense. Um, well, I'm moving, so that's it. That's, that's all I have to say. But it was, um, I haven't seen my college friends in like, since the last time someone got married, which is crazy. We have not been all together. And so it was lovely. It was amazing. And the last, the last time we were all together, I was ordaining my friend's wedding.

• 12:06Brooke Averick?

  Aww.

• 12:08Connor Wood?

And then I was like, wait, so I haven't seen you guys since your wedding? You know, these are like some of my best friends. And they were like, no.

• 12:15Connor Wood?

And I was like, so it's been, you guys have been physically married for almost three years, going on three years? Which is weirder than me not seeing them, you know?

• 12:24Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 12:25Connor Wood?

They're fully like in a, they're going on five, which is basically 10, which is a decade.

• 12:30Brooke Averick?

Are all of your college friends married?

• 12:34Connor Wood?

  No. I'd say half.

• 12:37Brooke Averick?

  Okay, that's fine.

• 12:38Connor Wood?

Yeah. And no one, no, I keep forgetting. I keep being like, cause I, I introduced two of my college friends. Um, Juan and Dana, I introduced. And I still felt like, like I sat in between them at lunch. I still felt like I was like the link between them, even though they're married. You know what I mean?

• 12:58Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 12:58Connor Wood?

Yeah, it's kinda weird. Um, they are married completely, 100%. Are any of your friends, yeah, you just went to a wedding.

• 13:05Brooke Averick?

  Me?

• 13:06Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 13:07Brooke Averick?

  When?

• 13:10Connor Wood?

I'm losing track of like how much time has passed.

• 13:12Brooke Averick?

That was almost like a year ago.

• 13:14Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 13:15Brooke Averick?

  Time, yeah.

• 13:17Connor Wood?

  Okay, that's.

• 13:19Brooke Averick?

I have one coming up, though.

• 13:21Connor Wood?

You do? Oh, yeah, here. Yeah.

• 13:23Brooke Averick?

In Philly. Yeah, that'll be a fun one.

• 13:26Connor Wood?

  It does change the, uh.

• 13:27Brooke Averick?

And then I have my brothers.

• 13:29Connor Wood?

  And then your brothers, right.

• 13:31Brooke Averick?

Um, we're kind of in a, in a, in a unique situation with that because originally me and Gabby were not getting plus ones. Unless we were in like serious relationships.

• 13:42Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 13:43Brooke Averick?

So we were both like, okay. I guess that's fine, whatever.

• 13:49Brooke Averick?

Cause we both will just be each other's plus one and it's also our brother. So we have family there and stuff like that.

• 13:56Brooke Averick?

And unfortunately for, for me, Gabby's now in a relationship. And so I guess if

• 14:03Brooke Averick?

if that stays, like she will probably bring a plus one to Noah's wedding. And so I think it will probably be hard for me to be at my younger brother's wedding alone while my sister, eight years younger than me has a plus. So we're gonna have to, I've spoken to my brother already. Plans have been put in place. That I will be able to activate a plus one if needed.

• 14:30Brooke Averick?

  Like for my health.

• 14:31Connor Wood?

  Yeah, getting plus ones.

• 14:32Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 14:34Connor Wood?

Okay, I don't think, and this is like.

• 14:39Connor Wood?

I think you guys being sisters, like you could do a plus one. You should have.

• 14:42Brooke Averick?

  No, I know. I, I, I don't think, like they're, they're not giving any one plus ones. I don't think unless they're like married.

• 14:49Connor Wood?

I think there could be exceptions for your immediate.

• 14:51Brooke Averick?

So that's what I had said. Um, but my brother said he wanted all of my attention on him. Which I said is, that makes sense. That's fair, but you're not gonna care on the day.

• 15:01Connor Wood?

You don't even see the people that are getting married.

• 15:02Brooke Averick?

This is a health thing. This is a health thing at this point.

• 15:05Connor Wood?

If you care. Yeah, I think like any, if someone's coming in there like just your friend. You didn't, no one needs to have plus ones because you're gonna have other friends there.

• 15:16Connor Wood?

It would be weird to like.

• 15:16Brooke Averick?

I'm not gonna have any friends there.

• 15:19Connor Wood?

If they, if you were just a friend of his, that's fine to not, you know what I mean?

• 15:23Brooke Averick?

Yeah, no, but I, I agree that I explained to him that it's abnormal.

• 15:29Brooke Averick?

But he's not giving, he's been flexible now that there's been a health issue introduced. Now there's been a health scare introduced.

• 15:39Connor Wood?

  Take your girlfriend with you.

• 15:41Brooke Averick?

Yeah, so all good there, possibly.

• 15:46Connor Wood?

  That's amazing. Good for you.

• 15:48Brooke Averick?

  We'll see how that goes.

• 15:49Connor Wood?

  When is that?

• 15:52Brooke Averick?

Winter of 2026 coming on seven.

• 15:59Connor Wood?

  Next year?

• 16:02Brooke Averick?

  It's like New Year's vibes.

• 16:03Connor Wood?

Oh my gosh, wait, it's 2026.

• 16:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:06Connor Wood?

Something weird is happening over here.

• 16:07Brooke Averick?

  Like in the time-space continuum?

• 16:09Connor Wood?

Yeah, cuz I was like, oh, you have a, you have over a year to get.

• 16:13Brooke Averick?

No, it's in, it's in December. But I could still be in a serious relationship by then for sure.

• 16:19Connor Wood?

  For sure, it's on July.

• 16:21Brooke Averick?

  But I'm not looking.

• 16:23Connor Wood?

No. Seek, don't attract. I mean, attract.

• 16:29Connor Wood?

  Attracts, don't chase.

• 16:32Brooke Averick?

I want to, I want to bring my cats.

• 16:34Connor Wood?

That's not gonna, you can't do that.

• 16:36Brooke Averick?

I, I know that. I'm just saying what I want. While acknowledging that I also can't do that.

• 16:42Connor Wood?

If Rob or Jonathan turned into a man, would you date your man-cat?

• 16:49Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 16:50Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 16:51Brooke Averick?

Unless like they were really hot or something.

• 16:53Connor Wood?

No, no, no, no, no. I really, really, truly need you to say with your chest, if Rob or John turned into a man, would you date him?

• 17:03Brooke Averick?

  No, those are my kids.

• 17:05Connor Wood?

  Please don't say.

• 17:06Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 17:07Connor Wood?

Good. I was just really worried you were gonna be like, yeah, of course.

• 17:10Brooke Averick?

What if like John like turned into like

• 17:15Brooke Averick?

  MGG?

• 17:19Connor Wood?

What if you, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

• 17:23Brooke Averick?

But like, that's not John. That's John morphing.

• 17:25Connor Wood?

No, no, no. That is John's soul.

• 17:29Brooke Averick?

Okay, if it was his soul, well, then that's we, then it's like, he's been there all along.

• 17:37Connor Wood?

  Mm hmm.

• 17:38Brooke Averick?

No, I would obviously not enter into a relationship with my cats.

• 17:44Connor Wood?

  Right, but.

• 17:44Brooke Averick?

But I'm just saying, like, I think, yeah, there's some really interesting ways it could go. Like, if John turned into one, like, someone else.

• 17:59Connor Wood?

  That'd be a different person.

• 18:00Brooke Averick?

  That'd be a different person.

• 18:03Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 18:04Brooke Averick?

But if John was still John?

• 18:09Brooke Averick?

  Then no.

• 18:09Connor Wood?

Just say no. Like, we should, we should move forward with, like, just a solid no.

• 18:14Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 18:14Connor Wood?

That you wouldn't date your cat.

• 18:17Brooke Averick?

No, I obviously would not date my cat, Connor. I'm in love with my cats.

• 18:21Connor Wood?

I know, like, as a, as a child.

• 18:24Brooke Averick?

As, like, I'm, like, my soulmates, like, truly, I believe that.

• 18:30Connor Wood?

Yeah, okay. I'm sensing some, like, there's, there's something.

• 18:35Brooke Averick?

I don't have romantic feelings for my cats.

• 18:38Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 18:38Brooke Averick?

Is that what you want me to say?

• 18:40Connor Wood?

Yeah. No, I didn't want you to say that.

• 18:43Brooke Averick?

But they're the loves of my life.

• 18:44Connor Wood?

I wanted you to make that abundantly clear that you would not.

• 18:47Brooke Averick?

They're the loves of my life. Let me make that clear.

• 18:50Connor Wood?

  Cool. Thank you.

• 18:53Brooke Averick?

  No problem.

I get so many headaches every month.

• 19:28Speaker 01

It could be chronic migraine, 15 or more headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more.

• 19:33Speaker 02

Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions, including ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease, Myasthenia gravis, or Lambert Eaton Syndrome, and medications, including botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects.

• 20:52Brooke Averick?

Last night I watched Love Island and Shutter Island.

• 20:57Connor Wood?

The big two. To balance, I've never seen Shutter Island.

• 21:02Brooke Averick?

  Connor!

• 21:04Connor Wood?

  Who's in it?

• 21:05Brooke Averick?

Oh, that's one that you would, like, freak for.

• 21:08Connor Wood?

  What?

• 21:09Brooke Averick?

That's Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Michelle Williams.

• 21:14Connor Wood?

No, see, like, one thing I'm not gonna do is watch Shutter Island while I'm living in a basement. Sorry.

• 21:21Brooke Averick?

  No, it's not basement-forward, it's island-forward.

• 21:25Connor Wood?

I don't want to be underground when I see a visual of that woman with her finger over her lips.

• 21:29Brooke Averick?

She's just in it for one second.

• 21:33Connor Wood?

  That's it, like, I really can't even...

• 21:34Brooke Averick?

She's really, like, that's her moment. Like, that's it.

• 21:38Connor Wood?

No, bro, can you imagine I have a can, and then I see her for one moment, and then I turn off my lights in my underground apartment? And I have to just imagine that she's probably not in my cabinet?

• 21:47Brooke Averick?

It is really an intense film. It's very much like Sixth Sense vibes, kind of. Like you think you're watching one thing and then it's like, holy shit, I'm watching a different thing.

• 21:59Connor Wood?

  The Shalaman twist?

• 22:00Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 22:01Connor Wood?

  Is this Shalaman?

• 22:03Brooke Averick?

No, this is a Martin Scorsese motion picture.

• 22:07Connor Wood?

  Very cool.

• 22:08Brooke Averick?

It's really, really good. I will say for the first two hours, I'm like, and this was the same, I've watched it twice. The first two hours, I'm like, huh, I don't know. And then the rest, like, wow, my God, that's crazy.

• 22:23Connor Wood?

You just had to get through that first two?

• 22:25Brooke Averick?

You just, once you get through those first two hours, the rest is like very much smooth sailing. Cause it's one of those where it's like, you don't know what's going on in a way that's like, I wish I knew maybe like a little bit more.

• 22:39Brooke Averick?

But then once you do know what's going on, it's like, wow.

• 22:42Connor Wood?

Can we remove the young woman, sorry, from the screen?

• 22:45Brooke Averick?

  Why?

• 22:45Connor Wood?

I have her up here as big as Brooke on my end. It literally feels like Brooke and Connor and woman make podcasts.

• 22:55Brooke Averick?

I love her. I love that bitch.

• 22:57Connor Wood?

  Brooke, she's the shusher.

• 23:00Brooke Averick?

Genuinely, like, that is what the essence of that man looks like. No, that's doing that, that woman a disservice.

• 23:09Brooke Averick?

But like, that's how evil that man's energy was.

• 23:13Connor Wood?

  No.

• 23:14Brooke Averick?

  Yes, worse than her.

• 23:16Connor Wood?

Was she evil in the movie? Don't tell me, I want to watch it.

• 23:19Brooke Averick?

That was it. That's all you, we got from that woman was just.

• 23:21Connor Wood?

  The hell is she doing?

• 23:22Brooke Averick?

They get to the island and then she's going, shh, and that's it. That's the last we see of her.

• 23:27Connor Wood?

What does she do for work? What, how does she pay?

• 23:29Brooke Averick?

We don't know anything about her.

• 23:31Connor Wood?

How does she pay rent on an island? What does she do?

• 23:33Brooke Averick?

You do not have to pay rent at the mental facility.

• 23:36Connor Wood?

  Oh, she's at a facility?

• 23:37Brooke Averick?

It's a mental health institution for the criminally insane.

• 23:41Connor Wood?

Why was she out and about alone? We don't know anything.

• 23:43Brooke Averick?

Um, she was just walking the grounds. There were guards there, so.

• 23:48Connor Wood?

  Lovely.

• 23:49Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. Oh, fabulous.

• 23:52Connor Wood?

Um, no, I'm not gonna be watching. I didn't even know you watched Love Island.

• 23:55Brooke Averick?

I don't. I just watched the last episode because everyone was watching. But I have like, this is the most I've ever known about Love Island because of Trinity and Bryce. Just like being everywhere and I really support them like with my whole heart. Just from what I've seen, Bryce is really like, just seems like an awesome guy and Trinity seems lovely as well.

• 24:16Brooke Averick?

But at first everyone like when the season aired was like Bryce looks like Matthew Gray Gubler. And just like from what I saw of him, like judging a book by his covers, him like being a DJ. I was like, no, he does not. The guy's completely Matthew Gray Gubler.

• 24:31Connor Wood?

  Really?

• 24:32Brooke Averick?

Yes. He, I mean, salt of the earth. He is an angel. And then it just came out today, like he's good friends with like most of the cast. Like he's such an enigma. Like you wouldn't think that guy's, look at, look at that comparison between him and him.

• 24:48Connor Wood?

  I see it. Yeah.

• 24:49Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 24:51Brooke Averick?

  Stunning.

• 24:53Brooke Averick?

  He's a good guy.

• 24:55Connor Wood?

  Well, that's nice. I

• 24:57Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 24:59Connor Wood?

It will never not blow my mind how much real estate people have, just like the, the consumer of these shows, how much real estate you have for like 17 new people in your life to keep up with every year.

• 25:11Brooke Averick?

But then you only carry a few with you.

• 25:15Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I guess.

• 25:18Connor Wood?

I think also something else I have about Love Island is like,

• 25:23Connor Wood?

I have not watched since, I told you when I watched. I, like, I haven't watched since like, really truly watched since like college. I shouldn't say this because I see these people a lot. But it is like magnificent how careers are started by dating someone. Thank you. Can you see how much I'm sweating?

• 25:42Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 25:44Connor Wood?

Can you see? Yeah, it's a lot.

• 25:47Brooke Averick?

Why? Is it hot in there?

• 25:49Connor Wood?

  What?

• 25:50Brooke Averick?

  Is it hot in there?

• 25:51Connor Wood?

Yeah, we do have to, we do have to, um, unplug the AC while we shoot.

• 25:57Brooke Averick?

Oh, I didn't know that, Connor.

• 25:58Connor Wood?

So it won't pick up on the screen.

• 26:00Brooke Averick?

You should get a portable fan, like a little one that you-

• 26:03Connor Wood?

I have two. I have two for my hot apartment. That's underground.

• 26:06Brooke Averick?

No, I mean, just like the little handheld ones that you can just press against your face, you know?

• 26:10Connor Wood?

Yep, I got, I got two asleep next to them.

• 26:12Brooke Averick?

You should get one of those like water bottle squirt ones.

• 26:15Connor Wood?

You have it, I have one.

• 26:16Brooke Averick?

  No, you don't.

• 26:17Connor Wood?

I have a water bottle squirt one.

• 26:19Brooke Averick?

  Uh, like, no, you don't.

• 26:21Connor Wood?

I have a water bottle squirt one and it's next to my BB baby.

• 26:25Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 26:26Connor Wood?

It's sitting right next to my BB baby.

• 26:29Brooke Averick?

Uh, did you know there are Uber XXLs now?

• 26:34Connor Wood?

  N- no.

• 26:35Brooke Averick?

Imagine my shock this weekend, calling an Uber XXL, a party bus showed up

• 26:44Brooke Averick?

to take four of us a mile.

• 26:47Connor Wood?

Why did you do an XXL?

• 26:49Brooke Averick?

  I was curious.

• 26:51Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 26:52Brooke Averick?

And just for the sake of the story, I'm saying like it was me that called it, but it was actually Frankie's boyfriend, Wilson. Um, but I was just saving some words, but now I've actually used a lot of words.

• 27:04Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 27:05Brooke Averick?

To explain all that. But Wilson called an XXL and a full like party van showed up.

• 27:12Connor Wood?

We will probably never have those in New York, but I did, I have, um-

• 27:16Brooke Averick?

They're starting to crank them out everywhere.

• 27:18Connor Wood?

  Really?

• 27:19Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 27:19Connor Wood?

Um, I have like every limo driver's contact in the New York City. And I feel like they have my, I feel like I shared my location with some of them. Because I kid you not, every single weekend when we like, like this weekend with my college friends, like we went to dinner in Chinatown, like 15 of us walk outside, limo's there and he's just out leaning against his limo and goes, "Hey."

• 27:46Connor Wood?

  Get in.

• 27:48Brooke Averick?

Have you checked your location services?

• 27:50Connor Wood?

Is that kind of impossible to say? I don't really know how to access that.

• 27:54Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 27:55Connor Wood?

But he picked us up. It was amazing. I loved the limo thing. I went in two limos this weekend.

• 28:00Brooke Averick?

It's amazing because you can all fit in one place. For me, I'm talking about the Uber van, not necessarily a limo, but just amazing.

• 28:10Connor Wood?

Yeah, we had, um, we had like a bunch of Chinese food, like duck and stuff. And then we got into a limo. It was like 15 of us and no one was really talking. And I was playing like really good music from like college and I didn't eat one of the options because it just wasn't really speaking to my palate.

• 28:29Brooke Averick?

  What was it?

• 28:30Connor Wood?

I could not tell you. Um, it's, I think it was some sort of seafood dish. But it just wasn't calling my name because we were just like underground again and like our big table and it was a BYOB restaurant. So there was just kind of like a lot happening. I was like, I'm not gonna eat that. And several people were like, I'm feeling not very good. I had to go home.

• 28:51Brooke Averick?

Wow. It's like bridesmaids, but you're Helen.

• 28:54Connor Wood?

It was like a very different experience because we took a, we took a limo. What?

• 28:58Brooke Averick?

  I'm not sick.

• 29:00Connor Wood?

I'm actually hungry. This is how much she was sweating though, in that movie. Can you see this?

• 29:09Brooke Averick?

  Oh, yeah.

• 29:11Brooke Averick?

  Oh, absolutely.

• 29:14Brooke Averick?

At first I had thought those were just like the places that your shirt was folding in on itself. But no, that's complete soakage. I used to be so jealous of the girls that could drip sweat. And I would pretend that I could.

• 29:29Connor Wood?

  How'd you pretend?

• 29:29Brooke Averick?

By splashing water like all over me. But I never have been able to drip.

• 29:35Connor Wood?

Your like, things that you wanted for yourself are very unique. You wanted to be able to drip sweat?

• 29:41Brooke Averick?

I, this girl on the bus next to me was always like dripping. Like having to wipe her face constantly because it was beads of sweat. And I was like, I want that so bad.

• 29:54Brooke Averick?

Because I was just flushed, you know?

• 29:57Connor Wood?

  Sure.

• 29:57Brooke Averick?

  And it didn't feel fair.

• 29:59Connor Wood?

  That she was able to-

• 30:00Brooke Averick?

That she was dripping like that.

• 30:02Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 30:03Brooke Averick?

  God, I was pissed.

• 30:05Connor Wood?

  That's a, that's a wet girl.

• 30:07Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 30:07Connor Wood?

Um, I wanted the opposite really, really bad and I was always humiliated every single day because I would sit in like AC and I would be drenched in sweat. And it's still is, and it's an affliction that I still have. I want to get,

• 30:20Connor Wood?

I want to get something. I want to get something fixed. I can get Botox, I guess, maybe in my chest. Or something.

• 30:30Brooke Averick?

Oh, don't be surprised if I come back looking a little bit different in a few weeks. Because I have a new dermatologist appointment. And I saw that there were so many things on the menu.

• 30:43Brooke Averick?

So I might like look into that. I want to get a lip flip. At the bare minimum.

• 30:50Connor Wood?

  You have big lips.

• 30:51Brooke Averick?

When I smile. What'd you say?

• 30:53Connor Wood?

  You have big lips.

• 30:54Brooke Averick?

I do not have big lips. But my top lip disappears when I smile. See?

• 31:01Connor Wood?

  They're bigger than mine.

• 31:03Brooke Averick?

  Well, yes.

• 31:07Brooke Averick?

But I also wonder if I get lip filler, if my like water type of lips will fill in, you know?

• 31:16Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 31:17Brooke Averick?

So I'm going to ask about that in that language.

• 31:22Brooke Averick?

You know how my lips are like giving water?

• 31:28Brooke Averick?

  Like if I got filler.

• 31:31Connor Wood?

  Sandy.

• 31:34Connor Wood?

  Water.

• 31:36Connor Wood?

  Oh, that's funny.

• 31:38Brooke Averick?

So I'm going to get a lip flip, I think.

• 31:40Connor Wood?

  That's funny.

• 31:40Brooke Averick?

And then possibly filler pen, depending.

• 31:43Connor Wood?

  Sure.

• 31:44Brooke Averick?

And then I saw there were some few other things that piqued my interest, so.

• 31:49Connor Wood?

Don't they do, don't they suggest-

• 31:50Brooke Averick?

I'm not going to do anything to my face. What?

• 31:52Connor Wood?

Don't they suggest these for you?

• 31:55Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I'm going to ask them what they think I need, but I don't want anything on my face, except for my phil, my lip flip.

• 32:01Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 32:03Connor Wood?

  Yeah, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't get, don't, don't let your eyes be bigger than your

• 32:10Brooke Averick?

No, I'm just talking about all this like cool sculpting stuff, which like could be a scam, but I'm really curious about it.

• 32:17Connor Wood?

That can't be, that can't hurt. I told you about when I just got, I told you about when I got that facial the other day at that spa.

• 32:24Brooke Averick?

Oh, I want microdermabrasion, whatever that means, yeah.

• 32:27Connor Wood?

When I was in Italy, but it was like kind of all in Italian. And did I, did I show you what they gave me to wear?

• 32:36Brooke Averick?

You showed me personally. I don't know if you showed the B and C community.

• 32:43Connor Wood?

I'd call her back in and be like, I don't know which side goes on the front of me.

• 32:47Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 32:49Connor Wood?

And she was like, it's this one. I was like, what? That goes on the front of me? Like, it's not gonna work for my

• 32:57Connor Wood?

  facilities. Like, it's just not.

• 32:59Brooke Averick?

What, what about it wasn't gonna work?

• 33:02Connor Wood?

It was, it was like splitting me down the middle, like, like.

• 33:10Brooke Averick?

Like it wouldn't have provided accurate coverage?

• 33:14Connor Wood?

No, in fact, it was like, it was kind of like smishing me. It was kind of smushing me.

• 33:19Brooke Averick?

  You were smashed?

• 33:21Connor Wood?

Yeah, but she was like, it's fine because you're, you'll be on your stomach. And I was like, then what are we doing here? You know, like, why am I putting this on?

• 33:29Connor Wood?

And it's a facial. Why am I putting on a thong?

• 33:35Brooke Averick?

I didn't, like, they weren't going down there at all?

• 33:37Connor Wood?

No, Brooke, like, the times when I have gotten like a full body and then gotten naked and they're like, why are you naked? And then I go in for a facial and she's like, here's your thong.

• 33:50Brooke Averick?

  I didn't know that.

• 33:51Connor Wood?

  Yeah, it was very weird.

• 33:53Brooke Averick?

  An Italian thing.

• 33:55Connor Wood?

Yeah, yes, it actually was because.

• 34:02Connor Wood?

Even like the coed, like the steam room, I went into like a hay steam room, which is just really dumb for someone that's like completely allergic to hay. I was like, why am I so itchy in here? But everyone was naked, the guys and these like older women and these older men were all naked. I was like, I gotta go. This is like, again, then I looked on the outside of the thing and it was just like a clothing optional.

• 34:26Brooke Averick?

No, the naked body is so much less taboo in Europe and so many other places.

• 34:33Connor Wood?

Yeah, if it wouldn't have been so itchy, I was making everyone uncomfortable because I couldn't stop itching my body. From the hay. Hey now, hey now. But yeah, I broke out a lot after my facial, which was just like, what was the point of all that?

• 34:49Brooke Averick?

Yeah, maybe it was like all the bad stuff was coming out.

• 34:53Connor Wood?

That's a good way to think about it, but that also sounds like a scam.

• 34:56Brooke Averick?

No, that happened when I was on Accutane, it was so scary.

• 34:59Connor Wood?

  But I wasn't on Accutane.

• 35:01Brooke Averick?

  Sure. Oh, okay, sure.

• 35:09Connor Wood?

  Like I paid for a $56 facial.

• 35:10Brooke Averick?

Oh, you would have loved Accutane.

• 35:12Connor Wood?

No, I, talk about water, that like, I had a lot of friends that did.

• 35:18Brooke Averick?

You can tell when someone's on it. Imagine my lips now, but on Accutane.

• 35:24Connor Wood?

A lot of people, I mean, that is truly just like, you're gonna have to go through the eye of, no, it's gonna get worse before it gets better. It's just like, it was hard to, it was hard to watch.

• 35:34Brooke Averick?

It's so funny because I guess like, a lot of people were on it in high school and I like didn't know what was going on. I just knew that a lot of people started looking like they had a condition. And like, I just was like, I didn't put any of the pieces together until I went on it and I was in, after college, I went on it. And then I looked in the mirror and realized like, everyone that had that condition was on Accutane. And it was kind of like a massive brain blast.

• 36:03Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 36:04Brooke Averick?

And this one guy, this, cause this one guy's condition, I didn't know what was going on. Like he was just so soaking wet, greased up, like literally like he put his head in a tub of Vaseline and was also really red. And I was like, what happened to this kid? Like I would stare at him all, all of history class cause I was like, what happened to this guy? And then at all at once and suddenly and all in that moment, I realized the guy was on Accutane and did dip his head in Vaseline because he had no choice.

• 36:39Brooke Averick?

The guy had no choice but to slick his entire hair back with petroleum jelly and I get it. Now I get it. I wish he had just said something instead of making me guess.

• 36:51Connor Wood?

I'm doing full head in the tub today.

• 36:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

Botox, onabotulinum toxin A, prevents headaches in adults with chronic migraine before they start. It's not for those with 14 or fewer headache days a month. It prevents on average eight to nine headache days a month versus six to seven for placebo.

Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor. Effects of Botox may spread hours to weeks after injection, causing serious symptoms. Alert your doctor right away as difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems, or muscle weakness can be signs of a life-threatening condition. Patients with these conditions before injection are at highest risk. Side effects may include allergic reactions, neck and injection site pain, fatigue, and headache. Allergic reactions can include rash, welts, asthma symptoms, and dizziness. Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection. Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions, including ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease, Myasthenia gravis, or Lambert Eaton Syndrome, and medications, including botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects.

• 38:52Brooke Averick?

I want to go back on Accutane, though. Because it gives you a nose job.

• 38:58Connor Wood?

They give you a nose job for free?

• 39:01Brooke Averick?

Accutane in and itself is like, you get a little nose job with it.

• 39:05Connor Wood?

  How? What do you mean?

• 39:06Brooke Averick?

It shrinks, it does something to like minimize pores. And your nose genuinely shrinks and I'm, people think it's like a conspiracy, but it's not because when I got my nose job and the swelling wouldn't go down, my nose job doctor was like, go on Accutane because that will drastically reduce the swelling. And then I was like, I don't really want to go on Accutane because my acne is not that bad. And then a year later, my acne got really bad and I went on Accutane and the swelling that had never gone down, went down like years after my nose job. And so I had gotten like a second nose job when I went on Accutane. And so many people say, who haven't even had nose jobs to begin with, that they have,

• 39:51Brooke Averick?

their nose has shrunk. Alex Earl got an Accutane nose job.

• 39:55Connor Wood?

  Wow.

• 39:56Brooke Averick?

Yeah, so I want to go on it again.

• 39:58Connor Wood?

  Did it change your personality?

• 40:01Brooke Averick?

  Accutane?

• 40:02Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 40:02Brooke Averick?

No. I wo, I wish. But I was on it when I was teaching. And it really like, your body just like hurts. It's a hell of a drug. Like your whole body hurts and feels like, kind of like achy and brittle. It took me-

• 40:20Connor Wood?

  Like your joints?

• 40:21Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Like my back was always like, uh. And I just felt like I was a really old person and I was 23. And I was always sitting on the floor with the kids and it took me genuinely 45 minutes to get up like with the help of the children. Like I would have to turn onto all fours and then like, like they would help me up.

• 40:41Connor Wood?

  They thought you were 400.

• 40:43Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 40:43Connor Wood?

They thought you were that woman on Shutter Island.

• 40:45Brooke Averick?

Yeah, but I've, I have no pictures of myself. From that time and if I did, you would see that. All of my, my lips at the corners were cracked open and I was constantly bleeding down my face.

• 41:00Brooke Averick?

  It was so hot.

• 41:01Connor Wood?

Have you talked to any of your kids? I guess it's only been what like six years?

• 41:05Brooke Averick?

Yes. Oh, not my kids, but their parents.

• 41:08Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 41:08Brooke Averick?

And some have read the book and text me and they're like, I remember this, like about the preschool scenes.

• 41:16Connor Wood?

  What would they remember?

• 41:17Brooke Averick?

Um, there was, there's a part in Phoebe where like all of the kids are pregnant by shoving pillows under their shirts.

• 41:25Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 41:26Brooke Averick?

And that's something that happened in my, in one of my preschool classes.

• 41:29Connor Wood?

Did you report that back to their parents?

• 41:33Brooke Averick?

It was just like a well-known fact because like they were like continuing to be pregnant at home too.

• 41:39Connor Wood?

Okay. It's a phase we all go through.

• 41:42Brooke Averick?

Oh, absolutely. So that's been sweet.

• 41:48Brooke Averick?

But I'm also like, okay, well, don't like finish it. Don't finish the book because it's like, I don't want, I don't want you to think of me. Like as a, like a romance writer.

• 41:56Connor Wood?

You have, you have moved on. I understand where you're coming from, but. They can't hold that. They can't hold you to that. You don't work there.

• 42:03Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 42:06Connor Wood?

  Um.

• 42:08Brooke Averick?

  You good?

• 42:08Connor Wood?

Sorry. No, it just scared me because my upstairs, my new upstairs neighbor just texted me.

• 42:12Brooke Averick?

  Oh, what'd he say?

• 42:14Connor Wood?

Well, we had been chatting because I've, I've, Stan's found out some information about. Who I'm, who I'm about to.

• 42:23Connor Wood?

Have, have an email conversation with and how they're not very super kind. So looking forward to that.

• 42:29Brooke Averick?

  Good.

• 42:30Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 42:31Brooke Averick?

  What does your hat say?

• 42:34Connor Wood?

  Lacoste.

• 42:36Brooke Averick?

Oh, I thought I said Lakushi.

• 42:39Connor Wood?

  No, it's a.

• 42:44Connor Wood?

Oh my gosh, I might as well. It looks like I'm full-blown lactating.

• 42:48Brooke Averick?

How about you stand up? Stand up and show us.

• 42:55Brooke Averick?

What's going on in your underarms? Anything?

• 42:59Connor Wood?

No, you know what's weird is like-

• 43:01Brooke Averick?

  Not really.

• 43:04Connor Wood?

You know, my pits don't like, I don't have like pit stains in any of my shirts. Like a lot of my guy friends like, you look at their white t-shirts and there's like a clear-

• 43:13Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 43:13Connor Wood?

They're like, this is just like an undershirt. Cause that's, you know, it like is a catch-all for-

• 43:18Brooke Averick?

  Happens to some women, too.

• 43:21Connor Wood?

  Um.

• 43:22Brooke Averick?

I might not be a dripper, but-

• 43:25Connor Wood?

The pits, different story. Yeah, I sweat on my chest and on my back. Which is awesome.

• 43:31Brooke Averick?

  I sweat on my back.

• 43:32Connor Wood?

Yeah. Oh my gosh, and my pussy and my crack? Yeah.

• 43:38Connor Wood?

Those are gonna be hotspots as well for me.

• 43:41Brooke Averick?

My dreams, and like I know it's not fun to hear about other people's dreams, are so not okay in a way that I was like, okay, what am I doing? That needs to stop in order to stop these dreams. So I stopped smoking. And I'm still having these dreams and I don't know. It's like very disturbing, graphic.

• 44:05Brooke Averick?

Like violent. Some are violent, some are like just really unacceptable. In, in different ways. And I can't get rid of them.

• 44:14Connor Wood?

  Any details are-

• 44:14Brooke Averick?

I can, I'll share one loosely while trying to avoid how graphic it was. But basically, you know those sex therapists in Amsterdam? That like you like have sex with?

• 44:26Connor Wood?

Oh, no, I'm not familiar with-

• 44:29Brooke Averick?

They're like, if you have like issues with like trauma or like intimacy, like you can-

• 44:33Connor Wood?

  You have sex with them?

• 44:34Brooke Averick?

Be physical with these therapists in order to like break those barriers.

• 44:38Connor Wood?

  Are they licensed practitioners?

• 44:41Brooke Averick?

And I think it's legal in Amsterdam, yeah.

• 44:43Connor Wood?

It kind of seems like that might be off the book.

• 44:45Brooke Averick?

It's not legal in the US.

• 44:47Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 44:48Brooke Averick?

Um, but there are shows about it. It's pretty interesting. It's pretty interesting. Um, but anyway, I was seeing one of these therapists. And it was Antonio Banderas. I'll be honest about that.

• 45:06Brooke Averick?

And I'll be honest about that.

• 45:09Brooke Averick?

And we were having a session.

• 45:12Connor Wood?

I'm sure you were. I'm sure you absolutely were.

• 45:16Brooke Averick?

I don't even like, I'm not getting into it, but the session was at an American Eagle.

• 45:21Connor Wood?

  Okay, that's.

• 45:22Brooke Averick?

  Storefront.

• 45:23Connor Wood?

  I get that.

• 45:24Brooke Averick?

Storefront. And in a dressing room and Bryce from Love Island was working the counters and just like the general retail space. And just kept asking if, if we, you doing okay in there?

• 45:40Brooke Averick?

And that then there was like a very separate part of the dream that was like, there was like an, like, there were like Nazis. And I was like, this is not like, pick one, pick one, baby. Like, it's just, I'm really like, I'm disturbed and I don't know how to make it stop.

• 46:00Connor Wood?

It genuinely feels, and I'm just gonna guess here. It genuinely feels like you're like just trying to cram everything into one.

• 46:08Brooke Averick?

No, it's all, and there's death and violence in all of these dreams as well.

• 46:12Connor Wood?

No, it literally, it literally sounds like anxiety dream, wet dream, like.

• 46:18Brooke Averick?

Oh, but I guess like these are not like, I like sexual to me, like, I'm not like, I liked that dream.

• 46:26Brooke Averick?

Like, there's nothing, there was nothing okay about what was happening.

• 46:31Connor Wood?

Were you like stressed in the fitting room that you were like?

• 46:34Brooke Averick?

I did not want to go to, this was like exposure therapy, like, this was not something I wanted to be doing.

• 46:39Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 46:41Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, no.

• 46:43Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 46:44Connor Wood?

Have you watched Spy Kids recently?

• 46:46Brooke Averick?

Nope, I don't know what he was doing there.

• 46:52Brooke Averick?

  At all.

• 46:53Connor Wood?

  That's funny.

• 46:54Brooke Averick?

I mean, and then I'm like in there hearing gunshots too. And so I Googled like, why like I'm having like the most like disturbed dreams, like violent, like all of this stuff. And it says that I have too much anxiety going on in real life that like my subconscious is trying to process.

• 47:14Brooke Averick?

But like, I feel like it's not the anxiety that I'm experiencing in real life, isn't warranting this type of subconscious response. It doesn't warrant it. It feels really severe.

• 47:26Brooke Averick?

And there's no new medication I'm taking. I don't know. This has been for like a week and a half.

• 47:33Connor Wood?

  All Antonio?

• 47:34Brooke Averick?

No, all different. That's like the one I feel comfortable sharing. Like the others are like pretty much like so much worse.

• 47:42Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 47:47Connor Wood?

Go on like a long walk before bed.

• 47:50Brooke Averick?

I should do like milk. I should have like warm milk and cookies and like read a children's book.

• 47:57Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 47:58Brooke Averick?

My dream journal is popping off. I'll say that.

• 48:04Connor Wood?

I bet. Are you filling it out regularly?

• 48:07Brooke Averick?

  Mm hmm.

• 48:08Connor Wood?

I'm, I can't, I have not had any dreams as of late, but my like Sunday to Monday, my Sunday night to Monday dreams are always like

• 48:19Connor Wood?

all completely like your plane's going down. I'll have dreams that I have already woken up and I've started my day. And then when I wake up, I'm like, oh my God, crap. Like I'm, I'm behind.

• 48:33Brooke Averick?

Do you still have the Sunday, the Sunday scaries?

• 48:37Connor Wood?

No, not like Sunday scaries, but like,

• 48:42Connor Wood?

oh my gosh, like if it always feels weird going into Monday and like not having done any productive activities for like, like when my college friends are here, I was like, kind of just like took off Friday. Like in my calendar, I just kind of like, it was like reunion this weekend. And so Sunday, like not having had contact, just like going to bed on Monday. I know that I'm going to get like emails and follow ups and stuff. I was just like, oh crap. But that's okay. That's kind of just like what a weekend is.

• 49:10Brooke Averick?

I always had the Saturday scaries growing up because Sunday was Hebrew school, which I hated.

• 49:19Brooke Averick?

And I liked school, so I didn't, it was fine to go, to wake up on Monday. I did not feel okay waking up on Sunday.

• 49:25Connor Wood?

  Cause of Hebrew school.

• 49:26Brooke Averick?

  Cause of Hebrew school.

• 49:28Connor Wood?

Yeah, I, I, I had to go to church every Sunday morning. So I was, there'd be some, I remember there was one time, like the hardest day of my, my life growing up, which is an awesome complaint, was that we stayed up all night because, and this is really, really insane to say, I'm gonna say it because like.

• 49:51Brooke Averick?

I want you to say it.

• 49:55Connor Wood?

There's like a prank that was like going around and this is like when I told, I've already told everyone, we were kind of like punks for a little bit in like junior high, you know, like we would pull prank, like we'd toilet paper people's houses and we'd like,

• 50:11Connor Wood?

I don't know, but someone pooped in a golf hole.

• 50:15Brooke Averick?

  That's disgusting.

• 50:19Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 50:21Connor Wood?

  They definitely.

• 50:22Brooke Averick?

And you were in on it?

• 50:24Connor Wood?

Yeah, it was like a group of us. I actually remember whose name it was, but I'm not gonna say.

• 50:26Brooke Averick?

I was gonna say, do you know the, the shitter?

• 50:30Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I, I know the.

• 50:31Brooke Averick?

  Are you still in touch?

• 50:33Connor Wood?

No, I'm not, but like, this is like a grown man and I'm not gonna like out him for pooping in the golf hole

• 50:40Connor Wood?

posthumously by 15 years, you know, like, it's, there's just like no real.

• 50:44Brooke Averick?

  Fatality limitations run out?

• 50:46Connor Wood?

Yeah, that, it is true, but like, I guess the prank was that like, this, like a golfer, an innocent, a genuinely innocent golfer was going to hit a ball in the hole.

• 50:55Brooke Averick?

No, I know what the prank is. Yeah.

• 50:58Connor Wood?

Go pick up his ball and it was just be covered in poo.

• 51:01Brooke Averick?

I'm wondering, like if I was on a date with someone and they, and I was like, what's the worst thing you've ever done? This like true, like the drama starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson?

• 51:12Connor Wood?

  I haven't seen it yet.

• 51:13Brooke Averick?

Oh, okay. Well, there's basically just like the conversation they have is what's the worst thing you've ever done? And they all go around and answer.

• 51:20Brooke Averick?

And if they told me that, that they pooped in an unsuspecting victim's golf hole?

• 51:27Brooke Averick?

I think that that's that and it wasn't even nice meeting you and that's it. I'll never see you again.

• 51:35Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 51:36Brooke Averick?

  That's pretty bad to me.

• 51:37Connor Wood?

I'm I'm aligned. Um, I do know like from someone else's high school.

• 51:45Connor Wood?

Whose high school was this? I think it I think it was someone else's high school in Texas. Oh, I know whose high school was.

• 51:55Connor Wood?

There was like a guy and this girl that would come to like all the parties and there was like nothing. It was not like a bullying thing, even though it totally was, but like. They would always prank the same girl that would like come to parties. And someone would go out and poop on her windshield of her car.

• 52:10Brooke Averick?

  That breaks my heart.

• 52:12Connor Wood?

  I know.

• 52:14Connor Wood?

And it was just like it stopped actually being funny to everyone and like the dude kept like. Look, I I did it and people are like, why are you still? Like, we have moved on and you're still at the restaurant and the restaurant being her windshield.

• 52:29Brooke Averick?

I actually like, never mind. I don't I like, I can't. This is like a little bit grossing me out.

• 52:35Connor Wood?

  Oh, my gosh.

• 52:36Brooke Averick?

No, I don't like like pooping on things that aren't inside of a toilet.

• 52:40Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 52:41Brooke Averick?

Like, that's actually not something I like.

• 52:43Connor Wood?

  Should we cut this out?

• 52:44Brooke Averick?

No, I'm just saying like, that's why I'm getting grossed out. I'm fine to discuss pooping into toilets.

• 52:50Connor Wood?

Well, yeah. I know, I told my.

• 52:54Brooke Averick?

  Stomach trouble.

• 52:55Connor Wood?

I told my roommate um, this weekend that I I used to sneak his pair of this pair of pants that I really, really liked of his. Out of the house and wear them to work because I had my internship that I would have to go. To and I like didn't have like a good pair of these pants that like fit so well. And I left work early because I had a stomach ache and I got all the way home from work and then. Felt safe and then. Had to buy him a new pair of pants.

• 53:19Brooke Averick?

  Bluetooth connected?

• 53:21Connor Wood?

Yeah, it was definitely like that situation like you feel safe and then it was just like. You shouldn't have.

• 53:26Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 53:27Connor Wood?

Oh, you really shouldn't have. Um, yeah, bought him a new pair of pants, but he was like always confused.

• 53:34Connor Wood?

Why I got him the new pants and I was just like, like, you let me wear yours all the time.

• 53:38Brooke Averick?

What did he think happened to the original?

• 53:41Connor Wood?

  I gave him back.

• 53:42Brooke Averick?

  Did you get them like?

• 53:44Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 53:44Brooke Averick?

  Dry cleaned?

• 53:46Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 53:47Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 53:50Connor Wood?

There's a lot of money for a sophomore in college.

• 53:53Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 53:54Connor Wood?

New pair of pants and dry cleaning?

• 53:55Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 53:56Connor Wood?

Okay, we can move forward. Now that we've gotten that out of the way.

• 53:59Brooke Averick?

That was the right thing to do. That was the right thing to do.

• 54:02Connor Wood?

  Move forward?

• 54:03Brooke Averick?

No, what, buy him a new pair of pants.

• 54:08Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 54:11Connor Wood?

And now that we've done that, we didn't talk last week about the wedding that happened in New York. And I think that the...

• 54:19Brooke Averick?

  We didn't.

• 54:21Connor Wood?

I know. I feel like that was just like due diligence. We should have.

• 54:24Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I agree.

• 54:26Connor Wood?

I was out of town, so I didn't see it happen. I'm thankful I was out of town because I think that was the day that there was like the heat advisory in New York.

• 54:37Connor Wood?

And like, all the elevators went down and then you couldn't get uptown or downtown, I guess, because of the MSG shut offs. But I don't know anything about it. So that's all I mean.

• 54:49Brooke Averick?

Me neither, but I am itching to see photos.

• 54:53Connor Wood?

I don't know if we, will we?

• 54:55Brooke Averick?

  Uh, we will.

• 54:58Connor Wood?

You think if they haven't released anything, you think they're still going to release photos of Taylor Swift's wedding?

• 55:03Brooke Averick?

I do. I think at least she'll post something.

• 55:07Connor Wood?

  It's been like 10 days.

• 55:11Brooke Averick?

No, I think we'll see something. I really do.

• 55:15Connor Wood?

I don't know how they could make that look like, like not in Madison Square Garden.

• 55:24Brooke Averick?

I have heard that it, you would not in 1 million years know you were in Madison Square Garden.

• 55:30Connor Wood?

How do you know? Who'd you hear that from?

• 55:31Brooke Averick?

Just like random people who know people who know people who know people.

• 55:35Connor Wood?

  What?

• 55:36Brooke Averick?

Multiple people have said that. Like you would just never know that you're in Madison Square Garden. I know someone who knows someone who knows someone who were like ushers or something.

• 55:44Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 55:46Brooke Averick?

That being said, everyone was like, it wasn't my taste. But like, you wouldn't have known you were in Madison Square Garden, that's for sure. Regardless of if you liked the vibe or not, which I don't, I mean, I'm truly so happy for her. Like, you will never find me having anything negative to say about like a hopeless romantic, like, getting their happy ending. Like, I really, I'm so happy for her.

• 56:15Connor Wood?

I agree. I bet it was so fun. I also, just like seeing Benson Boone, which makes sense. I just forget that like Benson Boone is like that level now. You know, but Benson Boone was like a TikToker with us.

• 56:30Brooke Averick?

  He was?

• 56:32Connor Wood?

He was like American Idol, but like, he was like a TikTok person. Like, he was very much like, I think, I'm pretty sure.

• 56:40Brooke Averick?

  He was on American Idol?

• 56:42Connor Wood?

I think he tried out, yeah.

• 56:44Brooke Averick?

  How far did he get?

• 56:46Connor Wood?

Like, I think he was like a Justin Bieber, someone discovered him.

• 56:48Brooke Averick?

  Top 24. Not too shabby.

• 56:53Connor Wood?

  Is it?

• 56:55Brooke Averick?

The top 24? He withdrew voluntarily, despite Katy Perry predicting he could win the entire thing. He decided to leave so he could focus on his original music and career path. Can I be honest? I think that's a great move. American Idol's not getting anyone anywhere nowadays.

• 57:13Connor Wood?

  Sad.

• 57:14Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 57:17Connor Wood?

But Benson Boone was there. I didn't know anyone else who went. I know that-

• 57:21Brooke Averick?

  Everyone went.

• 57:23Connor Wood?

  I know.

• 57:24Brooke Averick?

  Except for Markiplier.

• 57:28Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 57:28Brooke Averick?

Because her and Jack are splitting.

• 57:29Connor Wood?

  Rip and peace.

• 57:31Brooke Averick?

Which, as I take six months to read Lena Dunham's memoir, good for her.

• 57:37Connor Wood?

I know, that's also in my boxes after I purchased it. I have a wedding when I don't have a suit for it, and I, I want to say very correctly-

• 57:49Connor Wood?

It is definitely hard for like,

• 57:53Connor Wood?

like, girls to find something to wear, for sure, but like, I would love to just put on a dress, you know, wearing it, because I'm sweating so much. Thinking about me wearing a three-piece suit in this 92-degree heat is making me so, so, so, so scared.

• 58:10Brooke Averick?

  You could do a kilt.

• 58:12Connor Wood?

  I could do a kilt.

• 58:15Brooke Averick?

Do you have any Scottish roots?

• 58:18Connor Wood?

  Probably.

• 58:21Connor Wood?

Pretty much white as they come.

• 58:23Brooke Averick?

  So, yeah.

• 58:24Connor Wood?

I have a kilt. I have a kilt in my closet. Should I do a kilt?

• 58:27Brooke Averick?

  Airflow.

• 58:29Connor Wood?

  What?

• 58:30Brooke Averick?

Do a kilt for some airflow.

• 58:34Connor Wood?

Trying to think. Do you wear underwear under a kilt?

• 58:37Brooke Averick?

Yes, Connor. That's something that, like, you could have answered that on your own. If you thought about it for one second.

• 58:46Connor Wood?

Do you wear underwear with a kilt? Whether you wear underwear or under a kilt is entirely a matter of personal preference.

• 58:57Brooke Averick?

Is a kilt like a skirt? Are there shorts under there?

• 58:59Connor Wood?

  No, it touches your knees.

• 59:03Connor Wood?

I'll just keep my legs crossed like a lady.

• 59:05Brooke Averick?

You would be fully just like...

• 59:09Connor Wood?

  B and C out.

• 59:10Brooke Averick?

That's not okay. That's like genuinely...

• 59:14Connor Wood?

Who, why? Why are you, why, you shouldn't be looking. Don't look up my skirt.

• 59:20Brooke Averick?

Wait, I'm, I guess I'm thinking of like plaid miniskirts.

• 59:24Connor Wood?

I'm not gonna wear miniskirts to a wedding. What?

• 59:27Brooke Averick?

  How long are kilts?

• 59:29Connor Wood?

  Below your knees.

• 59:31Brooke Averick?

Not below your knees, are they? Connor, you're gonna be spinning around at that wedding. You're the one who's talking about how much you loved, look at that guy's butt.

• 59:44Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 59:46Brooke Averick?

  Wear underwear under your kilt.

• 59:49Connor Wood?

  I'm, I'm not gonna wear a kilt.

• 59:50Brooke Averick?

If you make the conscious decision not to wear underwear under your kilt and you flash someone, that you are a flasher. Like, that's an intentional flash. Whether you meant to flash someone in that moment, you making the conscious decision to not wear underwear, I would say makes you a certified flasher, just as much as someone with a coat that would open it on the street. I would, I honestly believe that.

• 1:00:15Connor Wood?

That guy's walking over like a Marilyn Monroe style great, like, that's not gonna happen to me.

• 1:00:22Brooke Averick?

You're gonna, it's just, there's gonna be a wind, you're gonna spin on the dance floor.

• 1:00:28Connor Wood?

Why are there all these photos of like kilt up skirts?

• 1:00:32Brooke Averick?

And Izzy, what did you Google? Do you wear underwear? I was gonna, I thought you just Googled like kilt.

• 1:00:40Connor Wood?

  Yeah, no, I, uh,

• 1:00:43Connor Wood?

I'm not gonna wear kilt anyways, so I'm not too worried about it.

• 1:00:45Brooke Averick?

  That will be fun.

• 1:00:50Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 1:00:51Brooke Averick?

  What's going on?

• 1:00:52Connor Wood?

  Sorry, popped my hip.

• 1:00:55Connor Wood?

Um, and I had like stuff to do, like, I gotta get back. Have you seen the Odyssey, the Odyssey things?

• 1:01:03Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 1:01:04Connor Wood?

  The press tour for Odyssey?

• 1:01:07Brooke Averick?

I, I haven't really watched any of it, except for like Anne Hathaway being ethereal.

• 1:01:12Connor Wood?

  Who?

• 1:01:13Brooke Averick?

  Anne Hathaway.

• 1:01:15Connor Wood?

  Oh, yeah, she's pregnant.

• 1:01:16Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:18Connor Wood?

What is she wearing on her head?

• 1:01:21Brooke Averick?

Uh, it looks like a little mini Eiffel Tower.

• 1:01:24Connor Wood?

Oh, wow. This is like the most famous people ever, you know?

• 1:01:30Brooke Averick?

I'm actually like excited to see this, where like, I don't think that there's any other world in which I'd be excited to see the Odyssey. If it weren't just like this cast, who I consider family.

• 1:01:47Connor Wood?

No, I do. I feel the same way.

• 1:01:50Brooke Averick?

Did you hear Rob was the only one to ask to read the script? When he was asked to be in it?

• 1:01:56Connor Wood?

  Really?

• 1:01:56Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:57Connor Wood?

  No, I didn't hear that.

• 1:01:59Brooke Averick?

  Oh, I heard it.

• 1:02:00Connor Wood?

  That's very cool of him.

• 1:02:01Brooke Averick?

He's cool. I can speak from personal experience. He's a cool guy.

• 1:02:07Connor Wood?

  Oh, wow. Yeah, you do.

• 1:02:08Brooke Averick?

Yeah, he's like a good guy.

• 1:02:12Connor Wood?

Yeah, this is something I really want to see is someone who didn't take American history so much, but I did take Greek mythology in high school. We focused more on the Greek gods than the United States and its history. Which a testament to public school, but also I really, really like perked up when it came to Greek mythology. And that's, this is like Homer's The Odyssey, right?

• 1:02:37Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:02:38Connor Wood?

Okay, so this movie and then Young Washington, I'm like over the moon. This is my-

• 1:02:43Brooke Averick?

  What's Young Washington?

• 1:02:45Connor Wood?

  It's like

• 1:02:47Connor Wood?

like what would you think Young Washington might be?

• 1:02:49Brooke Averick?

Just like a story about like Washington as a general, probably?

• 1:02:52Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:02:54Connor Wood?

They made him, they're making a movie.

• 1:02:56Brooke Averick?

  Who's playing Washington? I don't know him.

• 1:03:00Connor Wood?

They made him like really, really young.

• 1:03:03Brooke Averick?

Ben Kingsley, he was in Shutter Island.

• 1:03:09Connor Wood?

Yeah. I don't know any of these people, actually.

• 1:03:11Brooke Averick?

  Mary Louise Parker, I love.

• 1:03:13Connor Wood?

Yeah, I want to see this really bad.

• 1:03:16Brooke Averick?

Wait, have you watched the new Larry David Show at all?

• 1:03:19Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:03:20Brooke Averick?

How is it? I hear it's just Curb.

• 1:03:23Connor Wood?

  What?

• 1:03:23Brooke Averick?

I hear it's just Curb again.

• 1:03:27Connor Wood?

It is, but it's also like they're going through like the writing of the Declaration of Independence and the ratifications and like all, there's a bunch of different players like Ben Franklin's, it's funny.

• 1:03:39Brooke Averick?

  Okay, I need to watch.

• 1:03:40Connor Wood?

And then they kind of just like they personify like Thomas Jefferson as Larry David. Like, he makes the original-

• 1:03:51Connor Wood?

Declaration of Independence, which is like, the, what is it? What did they call that thing?

• 1:03:57Brooke Averick?

  Mm-hmm. Bill of Rights? Nope.

• 1:04:01Connor Wood?

No, it's like the thing, it was like-

• 1:04:02Brooke Averick?

Oh, I know, I know. Do not say it, cuz I know.

• 1:04:06Connor Wood?

I know it too. Articles of Confederation.

• 1:04:08Brooke Averick?

I was about to get there. I was going through the Hamilton setlist.

• 1:04:12Connor Wood?

Oh, sorry. That's just something I pulled from the back of my head. But it's the Articles of Confederation, and then they like ratified it all together, but they just put like- like in the first episode, they just have like Larry being like, "Yeah, and like, boys shouldn't fan themselves." He's like, "I don't wanna see my son doing this." That one was, everyone was like, "Yeah, I know, me too." And he's like, "People shouldn't take deep breaths outside, people shouldn't share an umbrella," and he put that in the- that's kinda funny.

• 1:04:42Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 1:04:42Connor Wood?

It's like my kind of... humor.

• 1:04:46Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I looked it up to watch, and then I just started watching Curb. It said-

• 1:04:51Connor Wood?

I started watching, and I did get on my phone, but there's a foreword by Obama, which I thought was kinda funny.

• 1:04:56Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I saw that on TikTok.

• 1:04:58Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:00Connor Wood?

  Okay, um-

• 1:05:01Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 1:05:01Connor Wood?

I gotta, I gotta go pee.

• 1:05:02Brooke Averick?

  Me too.

• 1:05:03Connor Wood?

  I just have to say.

• 1:05:05Brooke Averick?

Alright, well, I'll see you in the bonus then.

• 1:05:06Connor Wood?

Okay, I'm gonna flip on the AC for just a minute.

• 1:05:08Brooke Averick?

  Okay, that's fine.

• 1:05:09Connor Wood?

  If that's okay.

• 1:05:10Brooke Averick?

  Yep.

• 1:05:10Connor Wood?

Alright, and we'll see you guys- Nurse, or-

• 1:05:13Brooke Averick?

  XO.

• 1:05:13Connor Wood?

Do you have any like housekeeping, anything?

• 1:05:15Brooke Averick?

I think next week will not be us, it will be you and Brittany, ex-Mickey.

• 1:05:20Connor Wood?

  Oh, next week?

• 1:05:21Brooke Averick?

I think so, cuz we'll be on our special adventure together.

• 1:05:24Connor Wood?

We'll be studying around, yeah, I forgot.

• 1:05:26Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:27Connor Wood?

Okay, alright, we'll see you guys there.

• 1:05:29Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 1:05:30Connor Wood?

  Maybe. Bye.
