• 1:07Connor Wood?

I'm pretty spooked right now because I had like a weird dream that my mom was like, like, she was like,

• 1:16Connor Wood?

housing a spirit. And she was like very sly and manipulative. And she was visibly trying to like, take me and my family and do something nefarious with us. Possess, yes. The word that I couldn't find, possessed, the word is possess. And it was really unsettling.

• 1:33Brooke Averick?

Totally. I've been having weird dreams about my family, too.

• 1:36Connor Wood?

But I wake up to a text from my mom that's like, "Hi, I haven't seen you in a while. We should plan a trip." Or maybe,

• 1:43Connor Wood?

like, I don't know, like, this really like weird, almost like AI scripted text.

• 1:47Brooke Averick?

Yeah, like the demon had her phone.

• 1:49Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:50Brooke Averick?

  North posted this.

• 1:51Connor Wood?

Yeah, I didn't even realize. So now I'm kind of doubly freaked out that now we're saying into the realities that we're not a part of.

• 2:00Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I've been thinking about keeping a dream journal because my dreams have been so weird. And like, obviously, I needed another journal on top of the 18 I'm already keeping up with.

• 2:09Connor Wood?

I think dream journal could be necessary. That feels like a good one to have. Yeah.

• 2:13Brooke Averick?

When I said I'm thinking about getting one, the order's placed, baby.

• 2:16Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 2:17Brooke Averick?

Yeah. It's another Hovinichi. Just the line to notebook for now.

• 2:24Connor Wood?

When someone tells you about their dream, do you care at all? Like, when I just started to tell you, were you just like, oh, my God, I'm thinking about my journals?

• 2:30Brooke Averick?

Mm-hmm. I would say you've had a few dreams that have made me laugh. But typically, I only care about someone else's dream if I'm in it.

• 2:42Brooke Averick?

Which is just like, or it's like, really funny. But like, I'm happy to...

• 2:47Connor Wood?

People cared about my turtles dream when I told them about the turtles.

• 2:50Brooke Averick?

Or one that you can analyze.

• 2:53Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 2:54Brooke Averick?

But, no, I mean, I always care. It's just like, some are definitely more interesting than others.

• 2:58Connor Wood?

I like when people are like, oh, you had a dream that your hair is falling out, your teeth are falling out. That's anxiety. And I'm like, I had a dream that my mom was trying to kill my family. And they're like, I don't know what that could be.

• 3:07Brooke Averick?

Well, here's the thing, Connor. Someone will let us know.

• 3:10Connor Wood?

I know. But like, why does like, my hair falling out in my dream mean I'm pregnant, but my mom murdering my family means nothing to anybody? You guys don't bat an eye.

• 3:20Brooke Averick?

  It will.

• 3:21Connor Wood?

And she physically texts me, like, why is my dream making me not trust my mom?

• 3:26Brooke Averick?

  Dreams are really something.

• 3:29Connor Wood?

  To me, they're powerful.

• 3:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, they are very powerful.

• 3:32Connor Wood?

There's so many people that are like, I had a dream about someone I hadn't seen in like 10 years, and then I saw them the next day at Disney World.

• 3:37Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. Weird.

• 3:41Connor Wood?

Weird. We can leave it there.

• 3:59Connor Wood?

You know how we're always talking about how our phones are probably reading our minds?

• 4:03Brooke Averick?

  They are.

• 4:03Connor Wood?

There's a darker reality that I just figured out.

• 4:05Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 4:07Connor Wood?

I don't think, like, our microphone, you know how we're always like, okay, like,

• 4:11Connor Wood?

we're looking for answers, so we like, kind of like, plant seeds for our mic?

• 4:14Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 4:15Connor Wood?

And we, I never get those ads when I'm like, oh, I wanna, blah, blah, blah. Cheap flights to Bermuda. Cheap flights to Bermuda. It never picks up on that.

• 4:25Connor Wood?

I think it goes so much deeper that what I'm looking at on my phone is actually influencing my subconscious to what I end up talking about.

• 4:35Brooke Averick?

  It's a cycle?

• 4:36Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 4:37Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 4:37Connor Wood?

I think it's going, I think they reverse engineered.

• 4:39Brooke Averick?

  Interesting.

• 4:40Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 4:40Brooke Averick?

That reminds me of something that I wanted to tell you.

• 4:42Connor Wood?

  That's, I'm right here.

• 4:45Brooke Averick?

Do you know anything about the internet and, like, where it comes from?

• 4:50Connor Wood?

  Can I guess?

• 4:51Brooke Averick?

Yeah. You're never gonna get this.

• 4:52Connor Wood?

No, I might. It's a series of channels.

• 4:57Brooke Averick?

That might be, but like, what is the source of the channels?

• 5:01Connor Wood?

What is the source of the internet?

• 5:02Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, it's a physical thing.

• 5:06Connor Wood?

Is it like a Tree of Life situation?

• 5:08Brooke Averick?

  Simular.

• 5:10Connor Wood?

  Simular?

• 5:10Brooke Averick?

There is a, an origin that is a physical thing.

• 5:15Connor Wood?

It has to be, like, if I'm being realistic, I wanna have fun with this. You know, you know I wanna have fun with this, like, so bad, let my hair down, Nutri-Ful style, and like, have fun. Longer, thicker, stronger.

• 5:25Brooke Averick?

Yes. That, that, that, that don't kill me.

• 5:30Connor Wood?

Happen. Okay. But, it has to be a data center in the Antarctic.

• 5:36Brooke Averick?

  So, close.

• 5:37Connor Wood?

  Really?

• 5:38Brooke Averick?

  Kinda.

• 5:38Connor Wood?

  Is it underwater?

• 5:39Brooke Averick?

  Connor?

• 5:40Connor Wood?

  What?

• 5:40Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 5:41Connor Wood?

  No, Atlantis?

• 5:42Brooke Averick?

There is a, an Atlantic cable. Running the length of the ocean. I think the Atlantic, that it just is the internet. It's at the bottom of the ocean floor. That's where our internet is. It's a cable.

• 5:57Connor Wood?

What is it doing down there?

• 5:59Brooke Averick?

  That's just the internet.

• 6:00Connor Wood?

Okay, but I can't get service upstairs in my house, but like it's on the ocean floor. Lift it up.

• 6:05Brooke Averick?

I don't get, I don't get it at all. And obviously this has to be the truth because I saw it on TikTok.

• 6:10Connor Wood?

I would like to double check.

• 6:11Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 6:12Connor Wood?

I would like a second opinion. Completely believe you. Don't fully need to double check. If we were at lunch and I didn't feel like opening my phone to access the bottom of the ocean, I would just move forward. But we're here.

• 6:21Brooke Averick?

Yeah, might as well. Check this out.

• 6:23Connor Wood?

Submarine fiber optic cables. That was a word I was looking for when I meant, when I said series of channels, I meant fiber optic cables.

• 6:28Brooke Averick?

  Yes, yes.

• 6:29Connor Wood?

I promise you, I did mean that.

• 6:30Brooke Averick?

Listen, I knew what you meant.

• 6:30Connor Wood?

Okay, I did mean that. Often no thicker than a garden hose are the backbone of the internet.

• 6:37Brooke Averick?

  The backbone of the internet.

• 6:38Connor Wood?

Well, thank you, fiber optic cables for carrying the whole team on your back.

• 6:42Brooke Averick?

  Literally, listen to this.

• 6:44Connor Wood?

Carrying over 99% of international data across the ocean floor. These cables connect continents, span over 1.5 million kilometers in total, and transmit massive amounts of data at the nearly the speed of light.

• 6:55Brooke Averick?

  Like, hi.

• 6:58Brooke Averick?

Like, I'm on my phone right now, or just not now, but every other second of the day, thanks to this cable on the bottom of the ocean floor, which I never knew about.

• 7:09Connor Wood?

  How?

• 7:10Brooke Averick?

And it's no thicker than a garden hose?

• 7:12Connor Wood?

No thicker than a garden hose.

• 7:14Brooke Averick?

  Aye. Is that not crazy?

• 7:18Connor Wood?

No, it is crazy. Is that, is there only one? There's only one hose?

• 7:24Brooke Averick?

  It definitely spans continents.

• 7:26Connor Wood?

  But is there several?

• 7:28Brooke Averick?

  It's a good question.

• 7:28Connor Wood?

  I mean, like, sorry.

• 7:30Brooke Averick?

There's, oh, there's over 570 in-service submarine cable systems worldwide with an additional 81 planned. But I was watching this TikTok about when they planted the first one. They're just literally like, put, like planting a cable on the bottom of the ocean floor and then we have internet. I'm sure they're a little bit more went into it.

• 7:52Brooke Averick?

  But whoa.

• 7:53Connor Wood?

  No, but whoa.

• 7:55Brooke Averick?

Anyway, I thought you should know.

• 7:56Connor Wood?

  No, thank you. That.

• 7:58Brooke Averick?

It looks like the thing you plug into your wall when you're setting up Spectrum.

• 8:02Connor Wood?

It's com- it is completely the thing that you plug into your wall.

• 8:03Brooke Averick?

But just didn't think about it in the ocean.

• 8:05Connor Wood?

It is com- it is completely insane that because they put a garden hose at the bottom of the ocean, I have to spend three hours on the phone to Spectrum customer service. Like, why is that so hard? But it was pretty- it seems to be pretty easy that they did this when? 1858?

• 8:18Brooke Averick?

Also, my understanding is that, like, technology can't get wet.

• 8:23Connor Wood?

  Oh!

• 8:24Brooke Averick?

So like, why is our, like, biggest source?

• 8:26Connor Wood?

  Oh!

• 8:27Brooke Averick?

  In the water.

• 8:28Connor Wood?

  We're completely vulnerable!

• 8:29Brooke Averick?

I guess it's because it's encased in, like, more of a hose material? But what does it plug into?

• 8:34Connor Wood?

  I, uh, yeah. I feel like that's like, yeah, I don't know.

• 8:39Connor Wood?

  We are-

• 8:39Brooke Averick?

This is why, like, we need to have, like, a Hank Green onset at all times.

• 8:48Brooke Averick?

You know? Because it's like, what are you plugging into?

• 8:50Connor Wood?

What are you plugging? Like, where does the hose go?

• 8:52Brooke Averick?

  I don't know.

• 8:53Connor Wood?

Oh my gosh, I'm- this is amazing. I've never heard of this.

• 8:57Brooke Averick?

Plug into the specialized coastal facility called cable landing stations.

• 9:00Connor Wood?

We've gotten that- now we've got- we've- we've gotten away from our- I really just was fascinated by the hose piece.

• 9:06Brooke Averick?

I know. And then it's like too difficult to start to think about thinking about.

• 9:12Brooke Averick?

  Buried under the beach.

• 9:14Connor Wood?

It's kind of dangling there, just in the Atlantic.

• 9:16Brooke Averick?

So you're telling me if I dug for a sandcastle, I could hit the cable? Like, everyone's thinking about digging to China, like, hi, let's try digging to the cable landing station.

• 9:26Brooke Averick?

  For once.

• 9:29Connor Wood?

  I agree.

• 9:30Brooke Averick?

So, anyway, I just wanted to let you know.

• 9:32Connor Wood?

  It's pretty nice out. Um...

• 9:37Connor Wood?

Like, not to just go there already. This is where my mind's been in the past week, but like,

• 9:42Connor Wood?

  when we think about-

• 9:45Connor Wood?

  Our future.

• 9:47Brooke Averick?

  I don't want to.

• 9:48Connor Wood?

I don't either. You think I do? Does this not leave us a bit vulnerable for

• 9:55Connor Wood?

several things to happen to us negatively if our, if our entire kind of like network and livelihood is, is, is in a, and is in the size of a hose?

• 10:04Brooke Averick?

Well, at least there's 570 plus.

• 10:06Connor Wood?

There's also 570 plus like people that I could think of. Maybe if we sat here for long enough, I can think that, and I'm like, everyone gets a hose.

• 10:13Brooke Averick?

I also don't think it's like easy to access, you know? I don't think that just anyone could act like access the ocean floor.

• 10:22Connor Wood?

No, but they could access the beach.

• 10:28Connor Wood?

  I don't know.

• 10:28Brooke Averick?

  A landing station?

• 10:29Connor Wood?

The landing station. Seems a bit vulnerable. We just, we just Googled it. Via, via the cable.

• 10:37Brooke Averick?

We don't, we just like, we don't know enough about the cables to know if, like, does, does just anyone know where they are?

• 10:44Connor Wood?

  That's a good question, too.

• 10:47Brooke Averick?

I like, this is something that I don't.

• 10:48Connor Wood?

But the thing is with enough charisma, I feel like we could find out. I feel like if we, if we, if we kind of like wind and dine someone that knew where the landing station was, like, they would let us know where the cable is.

• 10:58Brooke Averick?

But like, I don't think that they would let us, like, there's no way that you could get all 570.

• 11:04Connor Wood?

People have collected 570 of many things across the world.

• 11:12Brooke Averick?

  Anyway.

• 11:12Connor Wood?

Tim Dillon would have a heyday with this conversation.

• 11:15Brooke Averick?

  Well, hopefully.

• 11:16Connor Wood?

  Tim, tap in.

• 11:17Brooke Averick?

  No, all good. On that.

• 11:20Connor Wood?

Hey, oh, wait, I have a, I have, here, I have a bone to pick with the landing station and like if I were off the cables. I got cut off by a Waymo on the way here.

• 11:31Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 11:32Connor Wood?

And I feel like this is something that like we would share frustration is in.

• 11:36Brooke Averick?

From my experience, they're like really non-aggressive.

• 11:40Connor Wood?

It, I think it got to a point where it also needed to exit at the specific exit that we were at, and it cut me right off. But um, I'm in a Nissan Sentra this, this week, so I'm, I'm blasting my music. I'm having a great time. Um, I'm listening to the new Ella Langley song.

• 11:55Brooke Averick?

  She's in Texas?

• 11:56Connor Wood?

No. Oh, my God, there's a new one and.

• 12:01Connor Wood?

Let me calm down. It's very good.

• 12:03Brooke Averick?

  Is it She's in Texas?

• 12:04Connor Wood?

  No, it's

• 12:04Brooke Averick?

Like, is it of that caliber?

• 12:06Connor Wood?

It's back to life again. Book, it is

• 12:09Brooke Averick?

  She's gorgeous.

• 12:10Connor Wood?

It is. She's about, she's about six or seven years younger than both of us.

• 12:13Brooke Averick?

  Don't tell me that.

• 12:15Connor Wood?

I wish she was in her forties.

• 12:19Brooke Averick?

So many people are younger than us.

• 12:21Connor Wood?

  But she's just simply not.

• 12:27Connor Wood?

It is such a fabulous song. I'm such a huge LL English fan.

• 12:29Brooke Averick?

Me too. I know one song.

• 12:31Connor Wood?

She's like, really pure. She's like if country music was like a

• 12:36Connor Wood?

  Oh my god.

• 12:39Connor Wood?

Let me find my words before I start doing that.

• 12:42Connor Wood?

Like warm glass of milk, if I was into that. I'm not, but like a warm drink.

• 12:46Brooke Averick?

  She's cozy country.

• 12:47Connor Wood?

Yeah. She's cozy country. I can tell by the way.

• 12:49Brooke Averick?

I want to listen to this in the bonus because I really love She's in Texas, which is the one song I know.

• 12:54Connor Wood?

You are gonna cream your jorts. It is such a good song.

• 12:57Brooke Averick?

  Oh, I bet.

• 12:57Connor Wood?

Um, so I'm, I'm, I'm pretty, I'm in a good mood. Coming here, I'm about to exit and then the Waymo cuts me off. I'm like not necessarily road ragey.

• 13:10Connor Wood?

But the fact that I didn't have the option to provide feedback

• 13:15Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 13:16Connor Wood?

  to someone, even just

• 13:18Brooke Averick?

  Thumbs down.

• 13:19Connor Wood?

Yeah, it made me more mad.

• 13:23Connor Wood?

So like when we talk about AI and things like taking your jobs, let, let, let it know that it's also taking very

• 13:31Connor Wood?

base level human experiences away from you too and expressions of emotions. I had to just bottle that. So later on, when I get really mad at a gate agent at the airport, like I blame it on Waymo.

• 13:42Brooke Averick?

  Well said.

• 13:42Connor Wood?

  It's really not my fault.

• 13:43Brooke Averick?

Taking away some of that human experience.

• 13:45Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 13:45Brooke Averick?

You've had some really powerful statements about AI that have like kind of influenced me genuinely.

• 13:51Connor Wood?

I'm like very, very scared and upset by AI recently.

• 13:55Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I got that.

• 13:56Connor Wood?

Yeah. And I feel like there's a lot of other things happening that have now like shifted my focus. I do want to say just suggestion from Waymo, like if you can provide a how am I doing number on the back so that I can cuss at one of your customer service employees? Like on behalf of the car driving, not their fault at all, obviously, but I need an outlet.

• 14:14Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 14:14Connor Wood?

Would be nice. Or maybe you guys love technology. Put a hologram up there. I'll flick off the hologram.

• 14:18Brooke Averick?

I hate to say it, but like this is where journaling comes in handy.

• 14:21Connor Wood?

  I can't journal.

• 14:25Brooke Averick?

  Period?

• 14:25Connor Wood?

  Like on the move.

• 14:28Brooke Averick?

Oh, you're saying you were gonna call customer service like in that moment?

• 14:31Connor Wood?

Hey Siri, call customer, call 818.

• 14:33Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 14:34Connor Wood?

747-3363. Hi, what the fuck was that all about?

• 14:38Brooke Averick?

You can text a voice journal in your notes app.

• 14:40Connor Wood?

Yeah, that might be a good move.

• 14:43Connor Wood?

Anyways, yeah, so the AI thing has been scaring me. You know what they had at the airport?

• 14:47Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 14:48Connor Wood?

A Build-A-Bear vending machine and the bears just come out through that hole.

• 14:52Brooke Averick?

  And there's no building involved?

• 14:53Connor Wood?

No, AI is not only taking your jobs and taking your human experience, they're taking away...

• 14:59Brooke Averick?

  I don't think that's AI, that's just a machine.

• 15:03Connor Wood?

  I have trouble with...

• 15:04Brooke Averick?

Distinguishing? Me too. Cause sometimes I'll like share something and someone's like, "You're a horrible person, this is AI." And it's like, "I truly didn't know."

• 15:12Connor Wood?

You, there it is. That disturbed me to my actual physical core. That looks like, um, that's like if I looked in the zoo and there was a sea otter vaping.

• 15:21Brooke Averick?

Yeah, that's just not Build-A-Bear. That's just bear.

• 15:24Connor Wood?

  Who's building the bear?

• 15:25Brooke Averick?

  That's just a bear.

• 15:27Connor Wood?

That's just a bear vending machine.

• 15:29Brooke Averick?

Yeah, that's just a bear. Oh my god, I wish I had saved my Build-A-Bears.

• 15:33Connor Wood?

We should go to Build-A-Bear. Broken con or Build-A-Bear.

• 15:36Brooke Averick?

Like, nothing would make me happier and I wish, I guess, like, I, I, there should be more places where you can make your own stuff, like the Louise Carmen journal making. Like, just like, I wanna be making my own stuff, even if it's like clothes. Like, I wanna go to a place where like, sure, maybe there's just like a blank t-shirt, but let me decide what I wanna put on it.

• 15:57Connor Wood?

  Broke yearns for the sweatshop.

• 15:59Brooke Averick?

No, it's not, it's not quite that I'm yearning for the sweatshop. It's that I'm yearning to have more creative outlets while spending money, which I, is something I also like to do.

• 16:08Connor Wood?

Also, third spaces, that gives you a third space. Like, you don't necessarily want to order the DIY kit and sit at home and do it. You wanna go to a physical, brick and mortar place, have someone instruct you how to do it, have the community of people around you. Build-A-Bear.

• 16:24Brooke Averick?

Key piece about that, show me what to do. I told you when I went to build my own journal.

• 16:28Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 16:28Brooke Averick?

The other day and it was scan the QR code to watch a video on how to build it. I can't fault, that's not the type of instruction that my brain can process. I need hand over hand.

• 16:37Connor Wood?

Hands on. I, I want... You want an expert in the field physically there.

• 16:41Brooke Averick?

Do not give me a YouTube video, that's something I can do at home. I want your words in my ears and your hands on my hands.

• 16:49Brooke Averick?

Take the ropes and show mama, don't give mama the fish.

• 16:54Connor Wood?

  Teach her how to fish.

• 16:56Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:56Connor Wood?

  Give her the pole.

• 16:57Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:57Connor Wood?

  Give mama the pole.

• 16:58Brooke Averick?

  Give mama the pole.

• 16:59Connor Wood?

Hand the pole to mama now.

• 17:00Brooke Averick?

Mama's turn with the pole. So, anyway, completely aligned with you.

• 17:07Connor Wood?

I'm glad. We're, I'm feeling aligned with you today.

• 17:09Brooke Averick?

  Oh, awesome.

• 17:10Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 17:10Brooke Averick?

  I love when that happens.

• 17:12Connor Wood?

  Um, no, it's, it's, it's awesome.

• 17:14Brooke Averick?

  Oh, it's awesome.

• 17:15Connor Wood?

Um, and we have been spending time together. We went to the Miley, we went to the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary.

• 17:19Brooke Averick?

  We did.

• 17:20Connor Wood?

  Much to unpack.

• 17:23Connor Wood?

I, I mean, I just have two things to unpack.

• 17:25Brooke Averick?

Oh, yeah. I was thinking, I don't have too many, but what are the two you have?

• 17:27Connor Wood?

I have a carry on here. Um, one,

• 17:32Connor Wood?

watch this film. It is so, like, I, I was taken aback only because I'm watching this and Miley Cyrus is sitting, we, we go to the premiere, Miley Cyrus is sitting there with us and it's loud because of how funny she, she, it could have been, it could have been a comedy special.

• 17:52Brooke Averick?

  A riot.

• 17:53Connor Wood?

They should have called it the Hannah Montana comedy special. It was so funny. She is so funny.

• 17:57Brooke Averick?

  She's amazing.

• 17:58Connor Wood?

She is so real. So that was great. I think the opening, I do want to touch on

• 18:03Connor Wood?

just like her coming out and she talks, she's just like, I have nothing planned. The end of her intro to the thing was so like abrupt for, for where we were. And I don't think it was intentional. And I know like a lot of like press outlets are like, Miley Cyrus shades Alex Cooper in the,

• 18:19Connor Wood?

it basically like she came out and she's saying like Alex was a bigger fan. There's no one I trusted more with hosting this, this, this show. And I was so excited to give it to you guys. And then she's like,

• 18:35Connor Wood?

and Alex got a little bit of money and she moved right next to me and I knew she knew where I lived because she interviewed me five years before at my house. So that's pretty creepy. And I think it was just like, if you know Miley Cyrus at all, she's just straightforward and

• 18:47Brooke Averick?

  That is her love language.

• 18:48Connor Wood?

  There's no

• 18:49Brooke Averick?

Is it picking on people lovingly?

• 18:51Connor Wood?

Yeah. I don't think it landed with the audience of people trying to clock it. But.

• 18:57Brooke Averick?

No, people are like twisting her intentions.

• 18:59Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 19:00Brooke Averick?

Like that's I just like, because I know her so well.

• 19:02Connor Wood?

  Me too.

• 19:03Brooke Averick?

  Exactly.

• 19:04Connor Wood?

  I feel like that.

• 19:04Brooke Averick?

  After everything.

• 19:05Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 19:05Brooke Averick?

That is how she she likes like poking fun at people and then.

• 19:10Connor Wood?

It landed with us. We were laughing.

• 19:12Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it when you were in the room like the two of us were and you're that close with Miley.

• 19:16Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 19:17Brooke Averick?

  You know what she's saying.

• 19:18Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 19:19Brooke Averick?

And these media outlets, they weren't there, you know? And they don't get her. They don't get her like we do and.

• 19:25Connor Wood?

  No.

• 19:25Brooke Averick?

  It's all fun and games.

• 20:27Brooke Averick?

And you know, but you know who's not fun and games genuinely?

• 20:31Connor Wood?

  Who?

• 20:32Brooke Averick?

You know what I'm gonna say? Chap?

• 20:34Connor Wood?

Yeah, that's what that was my next. That was my next piece.

• 20:37Brooke Averick?

Ah, chapel in the special. Bad timing, of course.

• 20:41Connor Wood?

  Just absolutely abhorrent timing.

• 20:46Connor Wood?

It's just like the intro to like all these people. Because like she brings out Selena Gomez and it's like, oh, okay. And she brings out her papa. And so, okay, this makes sense. And then it's like, and now this this next person just unbelievable that they're here. And I'm like, Michelle Obama? Like, who could it be? Chapel Rowan comes out. Complete.

• 21:10Connor Wood?

Crickets in the cr- like not even a cricket made a noise.

• 21:12Brooke Averick?

  No, everyone went, "Ooh."

• 21:15Connor Wood?

And it was just quiet, like everyone else got a clap because everyone was in the room, all these people were in the room. Nothing for Chappelle. And then, I think, I think if Dave Chappelle was announced as the next person on the special, like, people would have clapped. Nothing, nothing for Chappelle Roan.

• 21:31Brooke Averick?

She's not going through, uh, she, she's not going through a good time right now.

• 21:36Connor Wood?

No, and it, more is coming out on that too, which we can, but basically Chappelle's thing, when she came in, it was like, "I just want to thank you. I grew up watching you." All these things. Miley's obviously just like, "Oh, I'm so thankful that you're here. So sweet." And Chappelle's like, "You walked so I could run? You worked so hard to make sure that women in the space wouldn't be a- a- attacked on red carpets and, and now I don't have to, I don't have to go through that." And everyone was, someone goes in the room and then everyone starts laughing. And I was just like, I'm sinking in my seat. I'm looking at you. You're like, doing the same thing. But it was just like, "Oh, what? What?"

• 22:19Brooke Averick?

You know what got me more about that than her saying like, "Now I don't have to worry?" If someone told me that I walked so they could run?

• 22:31Connor Wood?

I want to quickly touch on that too. Miley Cyrus-

• 22:34Brooke Averick?

I would say, "Wait, wait, wait, wait. Oh, wait. Ah, wait."

• 22:37Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 22:38Brooke Averick?

  Wait.

• 22:38Connor Wood?

  Yeah. I was sprinting.

• 22:41Brooke Averick?

  I wouldn't say I, I wouldn't say I walked.

• 22:43Connor Wood?

  No.

• 22:44Brooke Averick?

Like that, I, to me, I would have taken that as an insult.

• 22:46Connor Wood?

I would say Miley Cyrus ran so Chapp- Chappelle could kind of just like

• 22:51Connor Wood?

walk around, kind of, and enjoy the time.

• 22:54Brooke Averick?

I would have told Miley, "You sprinted so I could crawl."

• 22:58Connor Wood?

  For 20 years.

• 22:59Brooke Averick?

So obviously, like, it's a common expression, Chappelle, like, I, I don't mean to be hard on her. She didn't, she meant it as a compliment, of course.

• 23:09Connor Wood?

Truly, it should be, "Ran so, so I could walk."

• 23:12Brooke Averick?

  But I would have-

• 23:12Connor Wood?

  "Made it easier for me."

• 23:13Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I would have been like, "Ah, ee."

• 23:18Connor Wood?

  Miley's not like that.

• 23:20Brooke Averick?

  No, Miley's great.

• 23:21Connor Wood?

  No, not my, not Miley.

• 23:23Brooke Averick?

But it's just, it's an interesting expression. It's less about Chappelle and more about the expression itself. Like, I don't, I don't think it-

• 23:32Brooke Averick?

  Lands.

• 23:33Connor Wood?

I used it yesterday. In the exact same way and I said walk so I could ran so I could walk and I was like, oh, that's not right.

• 23:41Brooke Averick?

I think it's inherently putting down the person you're saying walk.

• 23:44Connor Wood?

  Yeah, wow.

• 23:45Brooke Averick?

Because you're like you walked because it implies that the person who ran is like a bigger, you know?

• 23:53Brooke Averick?

I think it implies that like you walked so I could run like you like planted the seed so that I could really take off.

• 23:59Connor Wood?

Do we have it opposite because now it like doesn't make any sense that anyone would ever say that?

• 24:03Brooke Averick?

No, that's what I'm saying. Like I, I think it doesn't make sense. Like I think it should be some, I think it should be something else.

• 24:12Brooke Averick?

Unless you mean it like that, like sometimes it makes sense. Like it'll be like.

• 24:15Connor Wood?

You did these little things so I could do these massive things?

• 24:18Brooke Averick?

Usually when I, when I say you walked, that when I say this person walked so this person could run, run and I wish I had a good example. The person that walked just didn't really take off enough. But the person who ran did. You know?

• 24:32Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 24:33Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Because it implies like this person.

• 24:37Brooke Averick?

Walked is like inherently like lesser than. Run. I'm having a hard time with my tenses.

• 24:42Connor Wood?

I know, I know what you mean.

• 24:44Brooke Averick?

Do you know what I'm saying? I mean, it's difficult, but I hope y'all can understand what I'm saying. I just think we need a new expression.

• 24:53Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 24:55Brooke Averick?

Can you give me a second to think of an example?

• 24:57Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 24:58Brooke Averick?

Maybe like. Neopets walked so that Webkins could run. Like we started getting interested with Neopets, but then things really blew up with Webkins.

• 25:09Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 25:10Brooke Averick?

You know, it implies that the second thing, the latter is the one that really took off.

• 25:14Connor Wood?

  Aligned again.

• 25:15Brooke Averick?

  Who gives a fuck?

• 25:15Connor Wood?

  Who cares though?

• 25:17Brooke Averick?

Um, okay. That's it. And then I watched the Hannah Montana movie last night. Cause I was in the mood.

• 25:26Brooke Averick?

  Why are you laughing?

• 25:27Connor Wood?

I'm saying my favorite part. You'll re- you'll watch the show. You'll get it if you watch the show. Skip, skip 30 seconds if you care to not hear it. Favorite part in the whole film.

• 25:36Brooke Averick?

  Taylor Swift?

• 25:37Connor Wood?

The Hannah Montana movie, when she says, "We were looking for someone who, and I'm just gonna be frank here, would perform in a barn." I was like, "Oh shit."

• 25:51Brooke Averick?

That makes so much more sense. I thought she said bar.

• 25:54Connor Wood?

  Barn.

• 25:55Brooke Averick?

That makes so much more sense.

• 25:56Connor Wood?

I mean, it was the funniest, I don't-

• 25:58Brooke Averick?

And then it was Taylor Swift. She was like, "Quite frankly, at the time, that was Taylor Swift."

• 26:02Connor Wood?

It was just so funny. Just, she's so funny.

• 26:04Brooke Averick?

  She's so funny.

• 26:05Connor Wood?

She, she was talking as a, just like frankly, like as a, like a 12-year-old just being like, "I dated Dylan Sprouse." And I was like, "Bring Cole."

• 26:15Brooke Averick?

I love the way she was talking about having a crush on everyone, cause like, that is what, she was 12. She was like 11. Like, that is what you're, that's all you're thinking about.

• 26:25Connor Wood?

I'm not gonna go through all the things she said that were so funny, but-

• 26:27Brooke Averick?

She was non-stop about her crushes, which I loved.

• 26:30Connor Wood?

That like, love triangle she had as Hannah Montana, and it was that Jake and, I don't know the other one.

• 26:35Brooke Averick?

  Jessie.

• 26:36Connor Wood?

  Jessie, and Jake was there.

• 26:38Brooke Averick?

  Jake Ryan.

• 26:39Connor Wood?

  Jake Ryan was there.

• 26:40Brooke Averick?

  Jake Ryan was there.

• 26:41Connor Wood?

He stepped right in front of us in line at the-

• 26:42Brooke Averick?

And I kept going, I kept pointing. I was like, "Uh, uh, uh, uh." And he's, he's like, tiny and brunette, so, kind of like uncloachable.

• 26:51Connor Wood?

  But he had a bodyguard.

• 26:53Brooke Averick?

  No, he didn't, did he?

• 26:53Connor Wood?

  Yes!

• 26:54Brooke Averick?

No, he was wandering around alone all night.

• 26:56Connor Wood?

  Nope, his bodyguard was nearby.

• 26:58Brooke Averick?

Oh, I didn't see the bodyguard.

• 26:59Connor Wood?

I'm glad you didn't. That means he was on his duty. Um, but that's fun. That was so fun. I'm so glad we did that.

• 27:06Brooke Averick?

Me too. I freaking love Hannah.

• 27:08Connor Wood?

My shirt, so I wore a shirt there.

• 27:11Brooke Averick?

  I loved your shirt.

• 27:11Connor Wood?

My shirt was great, but it photographed as if I was pregnant, and it was the structural integrity of the shirt itself, because it was cropped, and it had a very stiff, stiff life about it, and, did you see?

• 27:23Brooke Averick?

I loved, I loved everything about your shirt.

• 27:25Connor Wood?

  Did you see that-

• 27:26Brooke Averick?

  It was, it was cropped.

• 27:28Connor Wood?

Yeah. Anyways, it looked, made me look, I mean, you can kinda zoom there if you want to. I did look super, super second try.

• 27:37Brooke Averick?

Oh my god, I was sobbing about my hair.

• 27:40Connor Wood?

Can you, are you able to zoom?

• 27:43Brooke Averick?

  No, it looks great.

• 27:43Connor Wood?

  No, I look like-

• 27:45Brooke Averick?

Oh, I see what you're saying.

• 27:46Connor Wood?

I'm housing, like, like I'm about to, to pop, but in my upper abdomen.

• 27:51Brooke Averick?

  I look really good there.

• 27:53Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 27:55Connor Wood?

Anyways, it was the shirt. But that was really fun. I haven't gone to something like that in a long time.

• 28:01Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it was really, really fun and I loved the people watching. Oh my God, like, I had one of those moments. That I was just like. If Little Brooke.

• 28:13Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 28:14Brooke Averick?

If I could tell her, because someone from across the room was like, Brooke, Brooke, Brooke. I mean, that's like my close, personal friend, David Archuleta.

• 28:23Connor Wood?

Yeah, I saw you get stopped by him.

• 28:25Brooke Averick?

So I'm just like, that's my, like, my brother. And if I could tell Little Brooke that, like, your brother's reaching out to you with the Hannah Montana premiere, like, come on, man.

• 28:36Connor Wood?

  Come on, man.

• 28:37Brooke Averick?

It's those things to me. That are just like. Come on, man.

• 28:42Connor Wood?

  Come on, man.

• 28:43Brooke Averick?

What, like, what are you talking about? Anyway, it made me happy.

• 28:49Connor Wood?

To, to, to look back, wait, it seems like nothing changed.

• 28:55Connor Wood?

Day to day, it seems like nothing changes, but look back, nothing's the same.

• 28:58Brooke Averick?

No, even like a, it could feel like nothing changes in a year, but like if I tell my year ago self, like, everything that's happened, it's still a good amount.

• 29:07Connor Wood?

Sure, that's why it's important to journal.

• 29:09Brooke Averick?

Yes. I'm about to fill up my first.

• 29:11Connor Wood?

Are you close to the mic? And I'm so sorry.

• 29:13Brooke Averick?

No, not at all. Hey, no, thanks for checking. I wasn't even remotely close to it.

• 29:16Connor Wood?

  No worries.

• 29:17Brooke Averick?

  Um.

• 29:18Connor Wood?

  I don't care at all.

• 29:18Brooke Averick?

I'm going through something like really, really shitty.

• 29:22Connor Wood?

What? Watching is gonna feel like my sour cream didn't come when like.

• 29:27Brooke Averick?

  No, so much, so much.

• 29:29Connor Wood?

  Oh my God, tell me.

• 29:31Brooke Averick?

I have a new celebrity crush.

• 29:34Connor Wood?

  Can I, let me think.

• 29:35Brooke Averick?

No, I don't want you to. Here's the bad part.

• 29:38Connor Wood?

  You know them?

• 29:39Brooke Averick?

No, it's not a new celebrity crush. It's always been like someone I've been interested in, but it's flared recently. And I can't talk about it because it is someone that we're like, we have probably been in a room with, will be in a room with, way too close to us. And it just always feels like when this happens, because it's happened before. It feels like I have to throw up and I can't get it out. When I can't talk about my celebrity crush.

• 30:03Connor Wood?

  That's not like you.

• 30:04Brooke Averick?

You're telling me I can't post about this person?

• 30:05Connor Wood?

  Oh, I see.

• 30:06Brooke Averick?

Fifteen times a day? I feel like I'm gonna throw up and I, it's not coming. It's like in my throat.

• 30:11Connor Wood?

Can you give me a hint?

• 30:12Brooke Averick?

I mean, I'll tell you later, but it's just like, I'm, it sucks because I'm consuming so much content of this person.

• 30:18Connor Wood?

Oh, I know who it is.

• 30:19Brooke Averick?

No, you don't. It's just so, so hard for me. But hey, man, that's what journals are for, am I right, brother? But, just know, it's like, this has happened before, and it'll happen again, and I hate it. I hate it. It feels, it feels inauthentic, and it makes me feel nauseous. Just know I'm exploding.

• 30:42Connor Wood?

  Sorry.

• 30:42Brooke Averick?

  It's all right.

• 30:48Connor Wood?

I wish I had something happening in my personal life at all, but it's just not. Nothing's happening at all. All my stuff is like, related to the headlines. Like, I'm just being affected by the news.

• 30:57Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I've been kind of depressed. I don't know why. Just like, my house is really dirty, and it's like, it overwhelms me to even like, think about picking something up.

• 31:06Connor Wood?

Totally. I get that. I, my landlord, I don't know if I told this last week, but like, I'm, I'm obviously gonna move, like, love my apartment, but I just, it's not right for me. And, my landlord goes, "Hey, what if you stay?" Did I tell you this?

• 31:22Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 31:22Connor Wood?

I said, "I'm not gonna stay. Like, you're raising the rent." She goes, "What if we don't raise the rent?" I said, "I'm, like, it's just wrong for me." And she goes, "Okay, then we'll be over, we'll be over to do a walkthrough, on Sunday." And I was like, "I'm out of town till Wednesday, and my place has been, I came into, unpacked, packed, came, there's suitcase," and she goes, "We're doing it Sunday." I go, "Enjoy the space."

• 31:45Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. Not your fault.

• 31:48Connor Wood?

She goes in, she does a walkthrough. I get a text from her long. I'm assuming it's gonna be like, "How are you living like this?" She texts me, "What can we do to make the unit better so that you stay?"

• 31:59Brooke Averick?

  What's going on?

• 31:59Connor Wood?

I don't know. Something like, I'm getting love bombed by my landlord, right?

• 32:02Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. I don't know.

• 32:05Connor Wood?

  And I haven't res-

• 32:05Brooke Averick?

Also, your apartment is incredible. It's not like someone else is not gonna want that pretty immediately.

• 32:10Connor Wood?

Yeah, well, I think that I, I think that I got sucker punched, to be honest, like, when I signed the lease.

• 32:16Brooke Averick?

  Like, she-

• 32:18Connor Wood?

Cause I was, I was desperado.

• 32:19Brooke Averick?

What do you mean sucker punched? Like, it's too expensive?

• 32:21Connor Wood?

  Yeah, probably.

• 32:23Brooke Averick?

  Like, you're paying.

• 32:24Connor Wood?

Yeah, so I, I'm gonna be like, "You could, you could lower the rent." I don't know what else they could do. You can't make it-

• 32:29Brooke Averick?

If you lowered it by like, a lot, would you say?

• 32:33Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 32:33Brooke Averick?

Tell her. Give her a number, and then she won't meet it, and that's that. End of conversation.

• 32:38Connor Wood?

It's crazy that almost everything in the world is negotiable.

• 32:44Brooke Averick?

  I wouldn't say that.

• 32:45Connor Wood?

  What is not?

• 32:46Brooke Averick?

Like, you can't just go to, like, Urban Outfitters and be like, "I will do 10. I'll give you 10."

• 32:51Connor Wood?

  I promise you.

• 32:52Brooke Averick?

There's no, you can't do that at, like, a corporation.

• 32:55Connor Wood?

You think the 16-year-old cashiers at Urban Outfitters wouldn't take a little bribe for you to shoplift? They're shoplifting.

• 33:02Brooke Averick?

I believe that they are really strict there.

• 33:07Brooke Averick?

Like, that's the type of place where, like, you, those people are, like, taking their job very seriously, yes.

• 33:12Connor Wood?

  No, they're not.

• 33:13Brooke Averick?

  I disagree.

• 33:14Connor Wood?

No, I really think that you can get, you can get, I got, I'm trying to think of something else I negotiated.

• 33:21Connor Wood?

I just love saying, "I'll walk." "I'll walk."

• 33:25Brooke Averick?

I love when, like, I would love to watch you do that, "I'll walk," and then I'm sure the person's just like, "Okay, bye."

• 33:31Connor Wood?

I just, I, I, I think in some sense of the word, everything is negotiable.

• 33:35Brooke Averick?

  Okay. I disagree.

• 33:38Connor Wood?

  Give me another example.

• 33:39Brooke Averick?

  Your bill at the hospital.

• 33:41Connor Wood?

  "I'll walk."

• 33:42Brooke Averick?

Okay, and it's like, "Okay, we'll send you the bill."

• 33:45Connor Wood?

That's a perfect example. Healthcare is negotiable. There's so many bills I haven't paid from the doctor.

• 33:51Brooke Averick?

But that's not negotiable. That's just you committing negligence.

• 33:55Connor Wood?

No, it's not, because they keep giving me $28 discounts month over month. "Please pay this," and I'm like, "No, I'll walk."

• 34:05Brooke Averick?

  Listen, like, I-

• 34:06Connor Wood?

I guess the only example of "I'll walk" that wouldn't work is if you're in the hospital because you broke your legs.

• 34:11Brooke Averick?

I am, like, in alignment with you that, like, I'm also not paying those, but it's not, it doesn't feel like a negotiation.

• 34:17Connor Wood?

Well, someone, the price is getting changed. The rent is too damn high.

• 34:24Brooke Averick?

  I don't know, man.

• 34:24Connor Wood?

The buses are nasty. "You thought we wasn't gonna steal a bus?" Wow, I just did three of those in a row. That was pretty good.

• 34:32Brooke Averick?

I didn't recognize any of them.

• 34:33Connor Wood?

I know. I've been online recently.

• 34:36Brooke Averick?

I am so proud of myself.

• 34:37Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 34:38Brooke Averick?

And this is so sad to even say, but I'm so proud of the amount of TV I've been able to watch recently.

• 34:43Connor Wood?

  Really great.

• 34:44Brooke Averick?

Just because it means my attention span is coming back a little bit.

• 34:47Connor Wood?

  Totally.

• 34:47Brooke Averick?

Because, you know, I couldn't do something, anything longer than six days.

• 34:49Connor Wood?

You know what's negotiable? Your attention span.

• 34:51Brooke Averick?

  Okay, sure. I watched Rooster.

• 34:55Connor Wood?

  Yeah, what'd you think?

• 34:56Brooke Averick?

I mean, I just love Steve more than life itself.

• 34:59Connor Wood?

  Me too. He's looking good.

• 35:00Brooke Averick?

He, listen, looks are the least important. My, my mic is limp. It's slipping away from me. His looks are the least important thing about him.

• 35:08Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 35:09Brooke Averick?

  Looks freaking incredible.

• 35:11Connor Wood?

Do you agree what I said about it being like kind of a hybrid character? About like him being a little serious, but a little bit kind of Michael Scott?

• 35:19Brooke Averick?

He, yes, because there's a, like a sadness there that I didn't, that Michael didn't have. Michael was more delusion and this character is more like, oh, he's a little bit like broken.

• 35:31Connor Wood?

I, I would say that looking deeper, Michael Scott did make me more upset on a deep, deep, I'm depressed level. Just because of the delusion, but like you could tell it was like, oh my gosh, 40 year old virgin IRL type, type beat.

• 35:44Brooke Averick?

No, Michael, I think Michael was not a 40 year old virgin.

• 35:48Connor Wood?

Well, when you like, I don't know, there's something made me very, very deeply upset about Michael Scott.

• 35:53Brooke Averick?

Yeah, of course, but like it's, it's a different upset.

• 35:57Brooke Averick?

It's like, it's hard to explain almost, isn't it?

• 36:01Connor Wood?

It was like, it was like, I, I want you to continue living in this delusion, but the world is not safe for you, Michael Scott.

• 36:06Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 36:07Connor Wood?

I wouldn't want someone normal to go over to, oh my God, he's been in every movie. That is a perfect example, like a Denver Schmucks. I wouldn't want Michael Scott to go to the Denver Schmucks.

• 36:15Brooke Averick?

Yes. No, Michael Scott is like a little bit like clueless, whereas this guy is like more like intentionally sad.

• 36:23Connor Wood?

I wonder if Steve Carell could ever get into this studio. He's, he's promoting, he's promoting this, the show. We have been promoting it for free.

• 36:34Brooke Averick?

Connor, I love you and I love this podcast, but can't get Steve Carell.

• 36:38Connor Wood?

I'm gonna put, I'm gonna put it out there. Steve Carell is coming on the podcast.

• 36:43Brooke Averick?

He doesn't just go on podcasts. He went on Amy Poehler's podcast because that's Amy Poehler.

• 36:46Connor Wood?

  We are almost there.

• 36:48Brooke Averick?

No, baby. You're like doing Michael Scott delusion.

• 36:51Connor Wood?

We're almost there. Come on out.

• 36:55Brooke Averick?

But I mean, I, I, I just, I would watch anything Steve is in. I'm not a thousand percent convinced with this show yet, but Steve's just incredible and I would watch anything.

• 37:05Connor Wood?

  Courtney's in it, our friend.

• 37:06Brooke Averick?

I just saw that. I know, that's insane. I actually didn't know that, but it was still, when I saw her, I was like, whoa.

• 37:12Connor Wood?

When I promoted the show, I didn't know that.

• 37:14Brooke Averick?

  I was really like, whoa.

• 37:16Connor Wood?

I know. She's, she's so good. She looks so good in that.

• 37:21Connor Wood?

Other TV, do you realize Euphoria comes out April 12?

• 37:24Brooke Averick?

  And no one cares.

• 37:25Connor Wood?

Why? Well, they released the poster and it fully looked like one battle after another. I was like, oh, this is like a joke. And it was pop base.

• 37:31Brooke Averick?

  I didn't even see that.

• 37:33Connor Wood?

It's really funny. It's like desert themed and it's like Zendaya at the top and then like Jacob Elordi on the side like yelling, like, look at this. It doesn't, that's not euphoria.

• 37:42Brooke Averick?

Oh, that's not euphoria. It's too light. Oh my God, Cassie, I can't.

• 37:48Connor Wood?

  Not.

• 37:49Brooke Averick?

  Why is that so?

• 37:49Connor Wood?

Right. You know what it feels like? None of these people filmed at the same time type vibe.

• 37:55Brooke Averick?

Yeah, they, no, they're all, yeah. Totally agreed. They're all photoshopped in there from a different timeline.

• 38:01Connor Wood?

  Right.

• 38:02Brooke Averick?

  Um.

• 38:03Connor Wood?

And I, I like, I, you know what I want to do?

• 38:06Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 38:07Connor Wood?

I want to start season one again. This is what I did when season two came out. I want to watch season one. May God have mercy at the top. This is not a movie. It's not done.

• 38:16Brooke Averick?

No, and look, Jesus saves. There's going to be something really religious about it because also you gotta have faith is the caption.

• 38:28Brooke Averick?

  So I'm sensing a theme.

• 38:29Connor Wood?

Did they graduate high school? I'm really not following.

• 38:31Brooke Averick?

Yeah. This is a, there's a big time jump.

• 38:34Connor Wood?

There's a time jump. Okay. I think what I liked about it was that they're all in this like little town.

• 38:41Brooke Averick?

I'm sure they're all still there.

• 38:42Connor Wood?

  They're in the desert and.

• 38:44Brooke Averick?

Where the hell did they live?

• 38:45Connor Wood?

It's impossible to say. I would say like small town, USA.

• 38:50Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 38:50Connor Wood?

But it didn't seem desert vibe. So I don't know how they all ended up in like Arizona.

• 38:54Brooke Averick?

This is the last season confirmed, right?

• 38:56Connor Wood?

A hundred percent. There's no way they could keep going.

• 38:59Brooke Averick?

  East Highland, California.

• 39:00Connor Wood?

Oh, and it definitely was giving California. Okay.

• 39:04Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 39:05Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 40:06Brooke Averick?

Can I tell you what else I've watched?

• 40:08Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 40:09Brooke Averick?

  Jury Duty Season 2.

• 40:10Connor Wood?

I didn't know it was out.

• 40:12Brooke Averick?

  Jury Duty Season 2.

• 40:13Connor Wood?

  Is it good?

• 40:14Brooke Averick?

  That's a really good question.

• 40:17Connor Wood?

  What?

• 40:18Brooke Averick?

  It's a good question.

• 40:19Connor Wood?

It's not, you don't know if it's out and you watch it?

• 40:20Brooke Averick?

No, you said, "Is it good?"

• 40:22Connor Wood?

  I said, "Is it out?"

• 40:23Brooke Averick?

No, you said, "Is it good."

• 40:24Connor Wood?

Oh, wait, no, it is a good.

• 40:25Brooke Averick?

  I don't-

• 40:25Connor Wood?

  Is it cake?

• 40:27Brooke Averick?

I don't know. And here's what I'll say about it. First of all, it is insane that they managed to find somebody else who is the same exact level of like, good as Ronald was.

• 40:38Connor Wood?

Is it a girl or a boy?

• 40:38Brooke Averick?

Boy. His name, Anthony, is his name. I don't know how they found someone else that is just like so pure of heart, but whoever is casting the heroes, hats off to the chef. We've got another Ronald on our hands, one of the greatest guys you'll ever meet. This season is, it takes place at a company retreat, so he's hired as a temp as someone's assistant, and then he comes on the company retreat. And then the guy whose assistant he is has to leave pretty immediately, so he's pretty much in charge of this company retreat at a company that he started out like one day ago.

• 41:14Connor Wood?

  That's show brilliant.

• 41:16Brooke Averick?

But it is so much more scripted than Jury Duty Season 1 was. Jury Duty Season 1 was very much like-

• 41:25Brooke Averick?

Slice of life at the beginning and it didn't start to get ridiculous until like episode four when they were like James Marsden's taking this massive shit. Um, and the Noah and Jeannie are soaking and like all this crazy stuff started happening. Like episode four, they are throwing him into the deep end. Right off the bat, episode one, and they're having like multiple insane things happen each episode and it's, it's almost like too much. It's like so unrealistic. Like I would be like, I'm on a TV show within five seconds.

• 41:56Connor Wood?

  Really?

• 41:57Brooke Averick?

And they're also just like, they're just trying to create The Office. It is very much like The Office. They're doing like so many scenes that like Michael Scott himself like was actually in. Um, like verbatim, pretty much. So am I laughing a lot? Yes, but it's like too ridiculous.

• 42:19Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 42:20Brooke Averick?

Like Jury Duty, season one was like believable and then, but this one, it's like, uh-uh. I would clock being on a show pretty immediately. It's, but it's, I'm still obviously entertained. Um, but I rewatched season one.

• 42:35Connor Wood?

I'm really drawn to the guy in the hat here on the left.

• 42:38Brooke Averick?

So he is the boss who had to leave immediately.

• 42:41Connor Wood?

  Oh, that sucks.

• 42:42Brooke Averick?

After doing something that Michael Scott did. And that's what I'll say about that.

• 42:47Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 42:48Brooke Averick?

  Um.

• 42:49Connor Wood?

  He was kicked out or?

• 42:50Brooke Averick?

He, no, he, he left. He vacated on his own free will due to public embarrassment that he inflicted upon himself. But moral of the story is that I went back and watched season one. And that's the best thing I've ever seen in my life.

• 43:06Connor Wood?

  It's a really brilliant concept.

• 43:07Brooke Averick?

I would recommend going back and watching that. It was even better the second time.

• 43:10Connor Wood?

Does this feel like Nathan for you? Cause it's so.

• 43:12Brooke Averick?

  No, cause Nathan for you.

• 43:18Brooke Averick?

Wasn't scripted. Any part of it, really.

• 43:23Connor Wood?

  Oh, that's true.

• 43:23Brooke Averick?

This feels really like they scripted a million insane things and they're doing them all.

• 43:30Connor Wood?

  I see.

• 43:31Brooke Averick?

But I would go back and watch season one if anyone's listening because it's so brilliant. James Marsen.

• 43:40Connor Wood?

  He's so good.

• 43:41Brooke Averick?

That man needs to do more comedy. His character in Jury Duty is one of the greatest characters of all time.

• 43:50Connor Wood?

  He's so good.

• 43:50Brooke Averick?

He's so good. Remember him rehearsing for Lone Pine the entire time?

• 43:55Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 43:55Brooke Averick?

  Incredible.

• 43:57Connor Wood?

  He's so good.

• 43:57Brooke Averick?

  He's so good.

• 43:59Connor Wood?

I have nothing else to say. Besides, he's so good.

• 44:00Brooke Averick?

Me neither, really. What else is there to say?

• 44:03Connor Wood?

  About James?

• 44:04Brooke Averick?

  Besides, he's freaking-

• 44:05Connor Wood?

  Cast James Marsen.

• 44:06Brooke Averick?

I walked by him at The Grove last month.

• 44:11Brooke Averick?

Very early. We were the only, really the only two people in the world in that moment. And it was awesome.

• 44:19Connor Wood?

The Grove would be a great place to be whenever everyone else dies.

• 44:23Brooke Averick?

  It was literally like-

• 44:24Connor Wood?

Or I guess before people are awake.

• 44:25Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it was me and James against the world. He was like looking at, like, anywhere but at me. I was, eyes like laser beamed. He was looking at the sky. He was right. Appreciate it, man.

• 44:37Connor Wood?

  Totally.

• 44:38Brooke Averick?

I would do the same thing if I was James. I'm not doing eye contact right now.

• 44:41Connor Wood?

I started, well, I started watching TV on the treadmill when I run on treadmill. It's so awesome to do. Which like made me feel kind of sad because it was like really, I used to listen to music, but now like the easiest way to pass the time is like just more screen time. But they used to be like no screen time vibes. But it's so easy to run when you're watching TV. I started watching DTF St. Louis with Jason Bateman. And who's Velma, OG Velma from Scooby Doo?

• 45:10Brooke Averick?

  Lindsay something.

• 45:12Connor Wood?

  Linda?

• 45:13Brooke Averick?

  Linda.

• 45:13Connor Wood?

  Cardellini?

• 45:14Brooke Averick?

  Linda Cardellini.

• 45:15Connor Wood?

  And David Harbour.

• 45:17Brooke Averick?

  He's so canceled.

• 45:18Connor Wood?

And I don't know, Pedro Pascal, I have not, I have not been introduced yet. Richard Jenkins I have, Joy I have.

• 45:26Connor Wood?

It seems really good. It's good like mystery vibes. If anyone likes mystery murder vibes, but also like with like, like there's comedy and sex.

• 45:35Brooke Averick?

  Ooh, that sounds really good.

• 45:36Connor Wood?

  It's down to fuck.

• 45:37Brooke Averick?

  Who's having sex?

• 45:39Connor Wood?

I'll just give you a premise vibe.

• 45:41Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 45:41Connor Wood?

So Jason and David are like in kind of sexually frustrated later in life, married, kind of dead end, outside of St. Louis, like suburbs and

• 45:55Brooke Averick?

  They're married to each other?

• 45:56Connor Wood?

No, no, no. Um, David is married to Linda and Jason. Jason, I don't know, but there's an app called down to down DTF.

• 46:06Brooke Averick?

  Is Jason married?

• 46:08Connor Wood?

  I can't remem- I was, I can't remember.

• 46:10Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 46:12Connor Wood?

I think so. I think they're both in marriages and they-

• 46:13Brooke Averick?

Yeah, look, that woman plays something with the same last name as him. The blonde.

• 46:19Connor Wood?

Oh, I guess he is. You haven't, you don't see much of her, but um, they, he basically, Jason, he's like slimy in this show. It's very unsettling and David's kind of like a big doofus. Big horny doofus and

• 46:33Brooke Averick?

  Oh, he's the BHD?

• 46:34Connor Wood?

Yeah. That would be a good book.

• 46:37Brooke Averick?

  Write it.

• 46:38Connor Wood?

  The Big Horny Doofus.

• 46:39Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 46:40Connor Wood?

Brooke is like an extremely like accoladed novelist and I'm writing The Big Horny Doofus. Hey guys, my new book came out, The Big Horny Doofus. It's about David Harbour.

• 46:50Brooke Averick?

Big Horny Doofus available for 25% off at Barnes and Noble for a limited time only.

• 46:54Connor Wood?

It's actually completely free. I'll pay you to take it. Um, so they basically both downloaded this app. That's why I'm, I'm, I think I'm on episode two.

• 47:00Brooke Averick?

  Mm-hmm.

• 47:01Connor Wood?

But they both downloaded this app and they're gonna get

• 47:05Brooke Averick?

  Murdered?

• 47:06Connor Wood?

  I don't know. Yes, but I don't know.

• 47:11Connor Wood?

But it's good. It looks like very dark, funny. Like I, I, I'm, I'm very new to it. So as soon as like, people watch it and it's like, this sucks. I'm like, keep in mind, I'm like 42 minutes in.

• 47:20Brooke Averick?

That reminds me of the other, that dark comedy about the podcast that I loved with Chris Messina.

• 47:26Connor Wood?

  Haven't seen.

• 47:28Brooke Averick?

I talked about that for so much. The name's escaping me. But, and the woman from Big Bang Theory.

• 47:35Connor Wood?

  Big Bane.

• 47:37Brooke Averick?

  Bang Bane.

• 47:38Connor Wood?

  Bang Bang.

• 47:40Brooke Averick?

Bang. Based on a true story. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

• 47:43Connor Wood?

  Oh, good job, Betsy.

• 47:45Brooke Averick?

  Reminds me of that.

• 47:47Connor Wood?

This seems like that it's a little less, it's like less kitschy. It's like actually genuinely dark. Cause it's filmed with-

• 47:53Brooke Averick?

  This was murder.

• 47:54Connor Wood?

This, this one's filmed in like a very blue lens. Like it's always dusk and raining.

• 47:59Brooke Averick?

  Okay, like Twilight?

• 48:00Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 48:03Brooke Averick?

  Whoa.

• 48:03Connor Wood?

  Yeah, that's that voice you-

• 48:04Brooke Averick?

I don't like that voice at all.

• 48:07Connor Wood?

  Should we shift gears?

• 48:08Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 48:09Connor Wood?

Um, they just raised the, we're done talking about the war after this. I'm done, maybe. They, on, on the 20th of March, they raised the enlistment age to 42.

• 48:20Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 48:20Connor Wood?

The day after I was like, I want to be enlisted. They, they raised it.

• 48:25Brooke Averick?

  Forty-two?

• 48:26Connor Wood?

Yeah, and they eased up on the marijuana usage rules, which means to me, they don't have enough people.

• 48:37Connor Wood?

And they eased up on the mental health questionnaire.

• 48:40Brooke Averick?

  Wow.

• 48:41Connor Wood?

So, that's not like ideal, but I am done talking about the W.

• 48:51Brooke Averick?

  Big W.

• 48:53Connor Wood?

  The Big W Theory.

• 48:57Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 48:58Brooke Averick?

Oh, it was, the previous ceiling was 35 years old. I thought, I thought it was 20s.

• 49:02Connor Wood?

  Twenty-five. Oh, maybe I misread.

• 49:05Brooke Averick?

  No, I don't know.

• 49:05Connor Wood?

Maybe I'm dyslexic and maybe that's why I can't be put to use.

• 49:12Connor Wood?

  Anyways,

• 49:15Connor Wood?

  I am flying out today.

• 49:16Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, where are you going?

• 49:17Connor Wood?

I'm going back to New York.

• 49:18Brooke Averick?

  No, there's no way.

• 49:19Connor Wood?

  Oh, God. Yes.

• 49:22Brooke Averick?

Why? You're coming back here next week.

• 49:24Connor Wood?

  I'm booked.

• 49:26Brooke Averick?

  Wow, I can't, I can't do what you do.

• 49:28Connor Wood?

  I'm beed.

• 49:31Connor Wood?

And it's been, it's an amazing time to fly.

• 49:33Brooke Averick?

It's fabulous. Are, obviously I've seen TikToks of the airports being like overflowing out into the parking garages.

• 49:42Connor Wood?

Everyone, walk, don't run to the airport.

• 49:47Brooke Averick?

  Is it fake?

• 49:48Connor Wood?

It is absolutely amazing. No, I mean, it is fake in this sense. Like, the airports that we're seeing that are just like, oh, this is so bad. This is so bad. Like, there's lions. Like, look, now ICE has to work at the airport. And that's on purpose because they're trying to privatize these airports so that they're showing you the airports that are out of control so that they can privatize TSA. And they can break, it's like an anti-union farce.

• 50:13Brooke Averick?

Where did you get that information?

• 50:15Connor Wood?

It's true. Like, the San Francisco Airport, I believe, is like a private.

• 50:18Brooke Averick?

No, it sounds good and smart. I'm just like, where did you get that information?

• 50:23Connor Wood?

  It's like, public.

• 50:23Brooke Averick?

It's just public. It's just public.

• 50:25Connor Wood?

Because they've been actively trying to, and that's why people are quitting TSA, because they're like, you won't pay us. They're in the government shutdown. And now they're like, well, then we'll shut down an airport, we'll shut down the airports. They're like forcing people into a corner.

• 50:37Brooke Averick?

  Sounds like all good things.

• 50:39Connor Wood?

Yes, I can't wait to go to the airport later, four hours early. I don't mind being at the airport.

• 50:45Brooke Averick?

  No, I know.

• 50:45Connor Wood?

I don't like waiting in lines, is my issue.

• 50:47Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 50:49Brooke Averick?

A guy like you loves an airport.

• 50:51Connor Wood?

No, my issue is like, TSA, objectively pretty important job. You don't pay the people enough.

• 50:57Brooke Averick?

  I don't get it. I also don't understand why

• 51:01Brooke Averick?

anyone would still work without getting paid.

• 51:05Connor Wood?

Beats me. I think it's like the promise of...

• 51:08Brooke Averick?

Unless I'm getting paid my wages that I earned later.

• 51:13Connor Wood?

Or in advance. I'm like, I'm confused.

• 51:16Brooke Averick?

  I'm confused too.

• 51:18Connor Wood?

Let's incentivize the people that are ensuring

• 51:23Connor Wood?

nothing goes wrong on your flight with a little cash, no?

• 51:28Brooke Averick?

  No? Yeah.

• 51:30Connor Wood?

  Like, some sort of benefit.

• 51:31Brooke Averick?

I know, I really am confused, but...

• 51:35Connor Wood?

In fact, let's put people that were not trained to work this job.

• 51:40Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I'm not, I'm not super excited to fly.

• 51:42Connor Wood?

It's very much like being like, let's get the Urban Outfitters employees to work TSA. They like, they, they're really hard, like they're.

• 51:50Brooke Averick?

Well, you know, as I've spoken about, they are pretty strict.

• 51:54Connor Wood?

That was a bad example. I'm sure if you work in Urban Outfitters, there's not like a dig at you.

• 52:00Connor Wood?

Although like it does read directly and it is word for word a dig at you, but it's not. It's like a made up character in my mind.

• 52:06Brooke Averick?

  Understood.

• 52:09Connor Wood?

You're great at your job. I'm sure. I've never met you, but I, I know your heart.

• 52:14Connor Wood?

But good news. This came out this morning. I'm really excited about this. United is offering entire rows now.

• 52:21Brooke Averick?

  I saw that.

• 52:22Connor Wood?

As lay flat rows in the back, which I promise you, I promise you is better than first class. Anytime I've gotten a full row and you're able to lift the arms and you can lay that way, you're actually flat, not like a lay flat seat in like a first class. Look at this and you can extend the footrest up.

• 52:42Brooke Averick?

How much does that run you?

• 52:43Connor Wood?

It doesn't, they haven't released details. Knowing United, it should be about $12,000.

• 52:47Brooke Averick?

  Oh, fab.

• 52:48Connor Wood?

Yes. But they had to do this because,

• 52:55Connor Wood?

because if you have a 4pm flight, your flight's probably going to be delayed to about 11:30, 12:00 AM. So that you will be sleeping overnight on your, on your flight from Los Angeles to about San Francisco.

• 53:07Brooke Averick?

  Understood.

• 53:08Connor Wood?

And it does look nice cuddling with your loved one.

• 53:14Connor Wood?

I don't get the details. Like could someone rent like one of the seats and then your lay flat is like, you have to be curled up into a cannonball?

• 53:20Brooke Averick?

I will say, you know, I'm a big fan of JetBlue Mint.

• 53:23Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 53:25Brooke Averick?

If I could turn my bedroom at home into the JetBlue Mint Pod, I would.

• 53:29Connor Wood?

  Really?

• 53:29Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 53:30Connor Wood?

  You sleep good in Pod?

• 53:31Brooke Averick?

I sleep so good in Pod. Like I want to curl up into the smallest ball that I possibly can and be contained when I sleep. I think I'm going to get a net.

• 53:44Brooke Averick?

Like a canopy bed is what I meant. That I can draw.

• 53:49Connor Wood?

I've never done that. Never done JetBlue Mint.

• 53:51Brooke Averick?

  Oh my god, you should.

• 53:53Connor Wood?

  One day.

• 53:54Brooke Averick?

And they give you, they give you these chapsticks, which is awesome. Like a little goodie bag, you know, and it is a Dr. Dennis Gross chapstick and I love that shit.

• 54:03Connor Wood?

  Who's Dennis Gross?

• 54:03Brooke Averick?

  Doctor Dennis Gross.

• 54:05Connor Wood?

  Sorry.

• 54:05Brooke Averick?

Uh, one of those like skincare lines. I'm sure he's a doctor too. Or she.

• 54:11Connor Wood?

  Good catch.

• 54:12Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Thank you. Women can be doctors.

• 54:15Connor Wood?

  So can Dr. Pepper.

• 54:17Brooke Averick?

  The doctor was his mom.

• 54:19Connor Wood?

The pilot was his mom. In JetBlue Mint. The pilot could be a woman.

• 54:24Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Yep, yep, yep, yep. Anyone can be a woman, a woman.

• 54:29Connor Wood?

Just don't tell me so I feel safe on a flight. Oh my god.

• 54:32Brooke Averick?

  But um.

• 54:32Connor Wood?

  I'm joking. Stop.

• 54:34Brooke Averick?

  That was a good one.

• 54:37Connor Wood?

Okay, like. Stop, I'm sweating. You guys stop. Izzy's packing up in the back, just like, don't throw me under the bus. She's pissing her pants back there, like, okay. Woo, I'm gonna change the subject. Did you see? There was a young man who kept thinking that he saw his dog in commercials. And he's like, that looks just like my dog. Right?

• 55:01Brooke Averick?

  I haven't seen this.

• 55:02Connor Wood?

Okay, so he's like watching these commercials, he's telling his friends like, that, I swear to god, like my dog, I wanna do like this DNA test, I wanna figure out what's going on, cuz I promise you that's like, looks exactly like my dog. Like, has to be a sibling. He finds out his dog walker has been taking the dog to auditions and getting paid cuz the dog's been on commercial sets. Yes. Is that not Kramer?

• 55:29Brooke Averick?

  Is that Kramer?

• 55:30Connor Wood?

Like taking dogs, like, I started a dog working, or like...

• 55:35Connor Wood?

  Like Nathan for you.

• 55:36Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, that's crazy.

• 55:38Connor Wood?

  Whoa, I almost passed out.

• 55:40Brooke Averick?

I have something stuck in my throat again.

• 55:42Connor Wood?

  Come on.

• 55:43Brooke Averick?

  Come on.

• 55:43Connor Wood?

  Unclog.

• 55:44Brooke Averick?

I can't. It would be really bad.

• 55:47Connor Wood?

  Okay, well, that was just-

• 55:47Brooke Averick?

  But that's wild.

• 55:48Connor Wood?

That was one example of something crazy that I have. The second thing is my Nissan Sentra does not have Bluetooth. So I have been listening to almost exclusively radio. And I'm loving the radio. I'm outspoken radio fan of radio. Now, the talk shows is what I'm missing. The original podcast is the radio talk shows.

• 56:07Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 56:08Connor Wood?

And it's like Molly and Mike in the morning, right? And they do like, um, calls in and this guy calls in and he says,

• 56:17Connor Wood?

"Can you help me out here? I have had a crush on this girl from my work. We've known each other for a while. I took her on a date and it just so happened to be my birthday that I took her out.

• 56:32Connor Wood?

And then she ghosted him after and like she's being cold at work. And the guy on the ra- Mike on the radio, an example, I don't know if this is actually Mike,

• 56:43Connor Wood?

is like, "That's so rude." And the girls are like, "I would be so freaked out if you, if," you know what I mean?

• 56:50Brooke Averick?

  That's an interesting one.

• 56:52Connor Wood?

Would you go out with someone, like first date with someone on their birthday? I'd be like, "Where are your friends?"

• 56:56Brooke Averick?

Was he making it a big deal that it was his birthday?

• 56:58Connor Wood?

I'm sure he was, like not knowing the guy at all. And I didn't get, I was getting out of my car right when they called the young woman. So I didn't hear her side.

• 57:06Brooke Averick?

Oh shit, I would have loved to hear that. I mean, I think it's totally dependent on the guy's behavior. If he mentioned his birthday, how many times he mentioned his birthday.

• 57:14Connor Wood?

I think I'd be weirded out if

• 57:20Connor Wood?

I found out halfway through that it was someone's birthday, like and we're just like sitting there and it's like,

• 57:27Connor Wood?

"Why didn't you say that?" But I'd also be weirded out if it was like, "This is my birthday party. This is my birthday dinner."

• 57:32Brooke Averick?

  That's weirder. I think-

• 57:35Brooke Averick?

The ideal is like he would like it would come up in conversation naturally.

• 57:41Connor Wood?

And you acknowledge that it's weird.

• 57:42Brooke Averick?

What? And he's like, I just like, really don't care about my birth. Like, I don't really like to celebrate. So I just like to like, it's just like a normal day.

• 57:48Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 57:48Brooke Averick?

That's fine. Like a guy that like, doesn't care about his birthday is good. You know, you don't want a guy that's like, it's my birthday party. I'm turning thirty five. Like, that's the last thing you would want, you know? So it could actually even be great that you have a guy that doesn't care about his birthday and it just happens to come up naturally in conversation.

• 58:06Connor Wood?

  I have a feeling.

• 58:06Brooke Averick?

  So I think that's fine.

• 58:07Connor Wood?

I have a feeling the way that this was delivered is that the guy was like, there's no one I'd want to spend my birthday with more than you.

• 58:13Brooke Averick?

And I have a feeling he was like, making his birthday a big deal, which is an active turn off when like a grown man is like, it's my birthday.

• 58:20Connor Wood?

My ideal situation would be like a dinner for my birthday.

• 58:23Brooke Averick?

  Mm hmm.

• 58:23Connor Wood?

And no one talks about it.

• 58:26Brooke Averick?

Completely. I am coincidentally reading a book right now. A romance about a radio station, a love, a love station. This guy hosts like a love call in type of show. And um, this, basically this

• 58:46Brooke Averick?

little young girl calls in and is like, I need help with my mom. And then basically this whole, like that moment becomes viral and then the mom ends up becoming like part of the show and she's like twenty nine. She's like a um, teen mom and they're about to fall in love. The radio host and the teen mom that went, had a viral moment on the radio show. But I'm reading a radio show romance right now.

• 59:05Connor Wood?

That is crazy because you, you saying that just now like made me remember that the radio people are people. Like I, for some reason was thinking they're just like a voice. They're people that worked at the radio.

• 59:17Brooke Averick?

They're completely people and they're about to fall in love, which I'm really looking forward to.

• 59:21Connor Wood?

I wonder if anyone that thinks that we're just a voice.

• 59:23Brooke Averick?

  Like an AI bot?

• 59:25Connor Wood?

Cause we live here in the studio.

• 59:28Brooke Averick?

It's like when you think you're, when you see your teacher outside of school and it's like, what are you doing?

• 59:31Connor Wood?

Yeah, you're supposed to be in my phone.

• 59:33Brooke Averick?

  You sleep in school.

• 59:34Connor Wood?

  You sleep at the school.

• 59:34Brooke Averick?

You sleep at the school. When I would see my kids out of the classroom, they would be like, not themselves. They were so taken aback and

• 59:44Connor Wood?

  What is that?

• 59:44Brooke Averick?

  And disturbed.

• 59:45Connor Wood?

  What is that phenomenon?

• 59:46Brooke Averick?

It's like, what are you doing? You don't exist. I think kids compartmentalize their lives so much that like, seeing one part of their life in another makes no sense. Like, I don't exist to them outside of the classroom.

• 1:00:01Brooke Averick?

  You know?

• 1:00:05Brooke Averick?

  So.

• 1:00:06Connor Wood?

  I do know.

• 1:00:07Brooke Averick?

  That's what I'm talking about.

• 1:00:10Connor Wood?

  Willis.

• 1:00:11Brooke Averick?

  Hi Willis.

• 1:00:13Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 1:00:13Brooke Averick?

Okay, I, oh, I don't really have it much else. Do you?

• 1:00:17Connor Wood?

I have actively nothing. We went through my whole list.

• 1:00:19Brooke Averick?

  Me too.

• 1:00:20Connor Wood?

Well, besides this one tweet that I thought was really funny this week.

• 1:00:22Brooke Averick?

How about you share the tweet with us as the parting words of wisdom?

• 1:00:27Connor Wood?

This, this, this woman tweeted that her daughter, her daughter's teacher

• 1:00:33Connor Wood?

called her and said that your daughter talks so much, we moved her next to the non-verbal student and the non-verbal student speaks now.

• 1:00:43Brooke Averick?

  That's really good.

• 1:00:45Connor Wood?

That is like probably the most amazing thing I have ever heard. It reminds me of when my parents would be like, you'll never get kidnapped because the kidnapper would return you.

• 1:00:52Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Oh, that's really, I would be like.

• 1:00:55Connor Wood?

  Talk too damn much.

• 1:00:56Brooke Averick?

Like if my kid's teacher called to complain and that way I'd be like, that's my girl.

• 1:01:01Connor Wood?

Yeah, of course. That's my future podcaster.

• 1:01:04Brooke Averick?

That's like, have you ever heard what Tristan's teacher said about him?

• 1:01:07Connor Wood?

I, I, I remember there was something that was said. I don't remember who it was.

• 1:01:10Brooke Averick?

Izzy, what was it? Do you remember? Um, no. I think it might be his Instagram bio.

• 1:01:18Brooke Averick?

Hey, check out my new purse.

• 1:01:19Connor Wood?

  Ooh.

• 1:01:20Brooke Averick?

You like that? Hi Cherry Season. Hi Cherry Bagu.

• 1:01:25Brooke Averick?

Let me see. And if I can't find it, I can't find it.

• 1:01:29Brooke Averick?

  Izzy, you've got it?

• 1:01:32Brooke Averick?

  Whiny, disruptive, intolerable, dramatic.

• 1:01:34Connor Wood?

That's perfect. That is, that's him.

• 1:01:35Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. And he's so cute.

• 1:01:37Connor Wood?

Which reminds me about this young man is that we are going on tour. We have some live shows coming up. So if you want to come to our live shows, I'm just gonna read off where we're going really quick. Or wait, can we?

• 1:01:51Brooke Averick?

I still have stage fright or not?

• 1:01:52Connor Wood?

Um, we will be in San Diego on the 3rd of April. That's next week. We'll be in Irvine, California on the 8th of April.

• 1:02:02Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 1:02:02Connor Wood?

And we'll be in Sacramento, California.

• 1:02:05Brooke Averick?

  Come on, scream.

• 1:02:06Connor Wood?

On April 11th. And the pre-sale code for Sacramento is Chumai.

• 1:02:12Brooke Averick?

  It's Chumai.

• 1:02:13Connor Wood?

C-H-U-M-A-I. The pre-sale code for San Diego is B-N-C. And that's on our.

• 1:02:20Brooke Averick?

What is Chumai? They've been you did it. Oh, cool.

• 1:02:24Connor Wood?

  Oh, cool.

• 1:02:26Connor Wood?

And that's on our link tree. The link is in bio. And Tristan and Channing will be there with us. And which is a good reminder to make I have to go pee.

• 1:02:35Brooke Averick?

  So bad.

• 1:02:36Connor Wood?

  So.

• 1:02:38Brooke Averick?

Thank you. Love to all. See you in the bonus.

• 1:02:41Connor Wood?

Make haste and make love. Goodbye.
