Whenever fall comes back around, it always feels like a fresh start. This year, I've been layering in some styles from the new Lululemon Fall Drop, because the weather is shifting and I find I have to be ready for the entire day and not just one part of it. Lululemon's Fall line has some really versatile transitional pieces, so I can just wake up, throw on a matching set, add a jacket or a fleece, and head out, knowing that I'll feel comfortable enough to go wherever the day takes me. Check out the new fall arrivals in store and online now at lululemon.com.

  Ugh, I hate Mondays.

• 0:32Speaker 02

  King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Swirl Bite?

• 0:33Speaker 01

Uh, Taylor Hansen? Sure, I'll try one. Mmm.

• 0:39Speaker 03

Hey, let's get back to work, please.

• 0:40Speaker 01

But Taylor Hansen's making my day way better with these new soft and swirly King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Bites.

• 0:45Speaker 03

  Taylor Hansen? Nice.

• 0:47Speaker 02

  Try one.

• 0:48Speaker 03

  Mmm.

• 0:52Speaker 04

King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Bites. There's nothing like it.

• 1:08Connor Wood?

Oh my. SpongeBob, why? Do you mind if I start by reading you... What?

• 1:16Brooke Averick?

  Good morning.

• 1:18Connor Wood?

Good morning to you. Welcome back to Brooke and Connor.

• 1:22Brooke Averick?

Welcome back. It's good to see you.

• 1:24Connor Wood?

What can we get started for you? Could I maybe read you a passage out of...

• 1:26Brooke Averick?

Yeah, let's start. I think that'd be a good way to start.

• 1:29Connor Wood?

  Which I've been revisiting.

• 1:30Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:31Connor Wood?

"I trust you're having a better day this week."

• 1:34Brooke Averick?

  That was it?

• 1:34Connor Wood?

"His deep groan brought her back to the present, his solid, heavy thrust against the padded..."

• 1:59Brooke Averick?

Did you swap it out for milking farm under there?

• 2:04Brooke Averick?

  Nice one.

• 2:06Connor Wood?

  That's a magic, that's a movie magic.

• 2:08Brooke Averick?

  Oh, I love it.

• 2:10Connor Wood?

Oh, God. You know I've started that book, right? You know I'm eight pages in.

• 2:14Brooke Averick?

  You're eight pages in?

• 2:16Connor Wood?

Oh, my gosh. She's just, she's just beginning her career.

• 2:19Brooke Averick?

  She started at the farm?

• 2:22Connor Wood?

Yeah, and she does not, she, she knows not what she's done.

• 2:26Brooke Averick?

I'm like, I'm really excited for you to give us some updates and I am gonna read it. I am now, Crescent City just got good at 450 pages in. So I'm locked, I'm now locked into that. And so it should speed by now. The rest of the other 450 pages should, should speed right by.

• 2:47Connor Wood?

  It's a 900-page book?

• 2:48Brooke Averick?

I think it's actually 800. It got good at like 60% in.

• 2:54Brooke Averick?

  Maybe 55.

• 2:56Connor Wood?

To me, it's just like, wrap it up, you know?

• 3:02Brooke Averick?

It's hard because with fantasy books, it's like, you do have to put in the work, unfortunately, to receive the payoff. Like, it does take that amount of like world-building to then have a really like satisfying story.

• 3:19Brooke Averick?

Most of the time. I, I, the popular sentiment is just like, just get right to it. But I'm not sure that you really can with a good fantasy book. That's why you, you really have to be like in the zone for one of those.

• 3:31Connor Wood?

It's just very impressive to me that you're, you're able to give it that sort of dedication.

• 3:37Brooke Averick?

It's just like when you know that it's gonna get good, it's something to look forward to.

• 3:42Connor Wood?

  How can you know?

• 3:43Brooke Averick?

Cause I trust. I trust SJM with my life.

• 3:47Connor Wood?

  You trust her gut?

• 3:49Brooke Averick?

Oh, I trust her with my gut.

• 3:52Connor Wood?

There's no part of you that's like, this girl has me wrapped around her finger?

• 3:55Brooke Averick?

She does, but like, she's earned it with her prose.

• 3:59Connor Wood?

  Mm-hmm.

• 4:00Brooke Averick?

  Really feel that way.

• 4:02Connor Wood?

I, my feelings would be hurt if she had my fat ass sitting there reading 450 pages

• 4:09Connor Wood?

  with blue balls.

• 4:10Brooke Averick?

Let me clarify. The first 450 pages are not bad by any means. They're just like...

• 4:19Brooke Averick?

Taken me somewhere. They're not like hitting me. They're not like punching me yet. They're edging me. Yeah, I guess you could say edging. I guess you could bring blue balls into the conversation.

• 4:30Connor Wood?

I mean, there's no other way to put it.

• 4:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I guess you're right.

• 4:33Connor Wood?

Mm, mm, mm. How long has that taken you? 450 pages?

• 4:38Brooke Averick?

Longer than I would prefer. I will say her, they zoom by her books. Like, I should be done in like a day or two with the remaining 400 now that I'm sucked. Um, but it has taken me like three weeks to get to this point. But like with the one of hers is like 900 plus. I think it's actually 1,000. One of hers, and it took me two days because it's like I was, it was already like the eighth book in the series and I was already there, you know? So once you're in, you're in and you zoom.

• 5:09Connor Wood?

  900 pages is so.

• 5:11Brooke Averick?

It's big text. Like, it's not small text and it's not dense.

• 5:16Brooke Averick?

Once you get into the world.

• 5:18Connor Wood?

I'm simply not an author, but this is just like it doesn't compute for me. That's why I'm so happy there's different kinds of people.

• 5:25Brooke Averick?

Exactly. Different kinds of people, different kinds of authors, different kinds of books. As we discussed in the bonus last week, reading is subjective. And I can't stress that enough. You're not going to like every book and that's totally fine. Thank you.

• 5:39Connor Wood?

I have a lot of respect for Sarah J. Maas as a person, but I wanted to throw up when I read two pages of that first book that I picked up.

• 5:46Brooke Averick?

  Akatar?

• 5:47Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 5:48Brooke Averick?

What made you want to throw up?

• 5:49Connor Wood?

  It was bad.

• 5:51Brooke Averick?

  Oh, interesting.

• 5:51Connor Wood?

  To me.

• 5:53Brooke Averick?

Well, you know, Akatar is really just the means to book to.

• 5:58Connor Wood?

I am not willing to do that. That's what I'm saying.

• 6:01Brooke Averick?

And Connor, that's fine. You don't have to.

• 6:04Connor Wood?

If Sarah J. Maas knocked on my door and said, would you like to get a coffee? I'd say, yes. Oh, my God, you're Sarah J. Maas? I have so much utter, just like profound respect for you and your world building and your prose.

• 6:16Brooke Averick?

Yeah, yeah. And you know, she's not bound to the glue to can hold pages together.

• 6:22Connor Wood?

And it's very strong glue to hold 900 pages together.

• 6:25Brooke Averick?

Yeah, but it's not strong enough to do she's going to do.

• 6:30Brooke Averick?

A thousand plus for the story that she has next. And so she's not gonna put it into just one physical book. She's gonna spread that shit out like butter.

• 6:39Connor Wood?

  She should.

• 6:40Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 6:40Connor Wood?

Cause 900 pages is too big and can't even bring that in a carry on.

• 6:43Brooke Averick?

  She's going to.

• 6:45Connor Wood?

It would be nice, like, you know, when I'm on a plane and I'm like, oh, I'm glad I filled up my hydro flask. Because if someone goes rogue, I'm gonna hit them over the head with my hydro flask.

• 6:54Brooke Averick?

  I'm sure.

• 6:54Connor Wood?

  Knock, knock.

• 6:55Brooke Averick?

  Who's there?

• 6:56Connor Wood?

  Hydro flask.

• 6:57Brooke Averick?

Just hit you over my head with the hydro flask.

• 6:59Connor Wood?

  Hydro flask.

• 7:02Connor Wood?

  Yup.

• 7:02Brooke Averick?

  Nice.

• 7:03Connor Wood?

Yeah, I mean, like, that's what I miss about the hydro flask is they have that little handle. My, uh, Odewala does not have that.

• 7:10Brooke Averick?

  Hmm. Mine does.

• 7:13Connor Wood?

But it's like a little, it's like a two finger handle.

• 7:18Brooke Averick?

I can hit someone over the head with this, like, pretty damn easily.

• 7:23Connor Wood?

I mean, if you threw that, if you threw your water bottle at someone's head, they're going down. You don't, or they're at least gonna be faltered.

• 7:30Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 7:30Connor Wood?

They're dropping, they're dropping their weapon.

• 7:33Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 7:34Connor Wood?

  You know?

• 7:34Brooke Averick?

Anything can be a weapon if you try hard enough.

• 7:37Connor Wood?

I'm just saying, this 900 page book, that's a brick.

• 7:41Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it is. The one I'm speaking of is paperback.

• 7:44Connor Wood?

Paperback, paperback, paperback. I want my paperback, paperback, paperback. I didn't take music next today, but I do feel funky.

• 7:51Brooke Averick?

Something came out of my throat. And let's just say, thank God for that. Because if it didn't, before this episode, this episode would have been really challenging.

• 8:02Connor Wood?

I, like, you did take music next type beat?

• 8:05Brooke Averick?

No, it was just a natural birth. Complete natural birth, no drugs.

• 8:10Connor Wood?

  Good.

• 8:12Brooke Averick?

I've been feeling so existential recently. Like, I was just looking at this scar on my ankle that I got when I was five.

• 8:23Brooke Averick?

And it's just like the same scar and the same body of the same girl.

• 8:27Connor Wood?

  Yeah. What's your scar from?

• 8:30Brooke Averick?

Uh, I was on a bike down a hill and then slammed into a mailbox. And then the wood post sliced my ankle open. I knocked a hole in the mailbox down.

• 8:40Connor Wood?

  You knocked the mailbox down?

• 8:41Brooke Averick?

  Mm-hmm.

• 8:42Connor Wood?

I've not seen it. I've not seen a freestanding mailbox in my entire life, by the way. I didn't think that those were.

• 8:48Brooke Averick?

  What do you mean?

• 8:50Connor Wood?

Like, our mailbox was in a big box, or a thing with other... Like, our neighborhoods was just like-

• 8:55Brooke Averick?

  Oh, really?

• 8:56Connor Wood?

In a big, yeah, like you'd go pick up your mail.

• 8:58Brooke Averick?

Oh, this was just like a classic mailbox with a wooden post and a tin head.

• 9:04Connor Wood?

  Not Nemo.

• 9:06Brooke Averick?

  Wow.

• 9:07Connor Wood?

  No, it's on the ground.

• 9:07Brooke Averick?

  Not, yeah, no.

• 9:10Brooke Averick?

  R.I.P.

• 9:11Connor Wood?

Isn't it weird? We have known each other for like six years and I wouldn't, like, I never would have known about your scar from hitting the mailbox if we didn't have this podcast. Like, when we're sitting next to each other, like, your scar wouldn't come up, you know?

• 9:23Brooke Averick?

Honestly, like, it might. I've been thinking a lot about it, but I see what you're saying.

• 9:31Connor Wood?

I'm just saying, thank God for the podcast, so we can, so we can get things like that off our chest.

• 9:35Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 9:35Connor Wood?

I have a scar on my ankle as well.

• 9:37Brooke Averick?

  What's yours from?

• 9:37Connor Wood?

And it's from the young man who I once was.

• 9:40Brooke Averick?

  That's so scary.

• 9:42Connor Wood?

I know. I, I obviously told everyone it was from a shark bite for a long time.

• 9:47Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I'm sure you did.

• 9:48Connor Wood?

Like, so much so that I forget what it was.

• 9:51Brooke Averick?

Wow. That happens to me, too. Like, I'll lie about something for so long that I forget what the truth is. And then the lie just becomes the truth. And then I get confused. I'm like, "Am I lying?"

• 10:05Connor Wood?

I have certain family members that operate under that belief completely, but it's like convicted. And I have a different memory of events than they do.

• 10:13Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 10:14Connor Wood?

You know? I'm like, "Well, that's simply not what happened." But it's genuinely like my word versus theirs.

• 10:20Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 10:20Connor Wood?

And there stands because they're not willing to budge.

• 10:24Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 10:25Connor Wood?

  I'm feeling like this is-

• 10:26Brooke Averick?

  Sorry. What were you saying?

• 10:31Connor Wood?

I'm feeling like this isn't our usual. I feel like, I feel like, you know, in Hollywood, when they're like, they killed him and they brought in a different man?

• 10:41Brooke Averick?

Yeah, like Jim Carrey and Avril Lavigne.

• 10:43Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 10:44Brooke Averick?

  Remix.

• 10:45Connor Wood?

Yeah, I feel like we're the remix today.

• 10:47Brooke Averick?

Yeah, well, it's probably because of my haircut.

• 10:50Connor Wood?

It's your haircut? Yes, I like it.

• 10:55Brooke Averick?

Well, you can't, it's in a bun because I tried to do too much to it this morning and it just was a complete frickin disaster, but I got chopped, like to my shoulders. My hair is really short and I look 30. That's what I'll say about that, but maybe I'll reveal next week. Down.

• 11:15Connor Wood?

  Reveal what?

• 11:16Brooke Averick?

Oh, my hair, yeah, it's up right now.

• 11:18Connor Wood?

It looks good. I said it looked healthy this morning.

• 11:21Brooke Averick?

Yeah, definitely. It feels great. Like, my hair was so long, it was like almost down to my belly button. I'm not exaggerating.

• 11:29Connor Wood?

Do you know, I texted you guys last night and I said I looked like a massive greaseball on last week's episode?

• 11:34Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 11:35Connor Wood?

I think I put lotion in my hair instead of my hair gel.

• 11:38Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 11:39Connor Wood?

Cause it wasn't in my dop kit, which I just realized it's not doc kit. Someone was kind enough to let me know that for the past decade or so.

• 11:46Brooke Averick?

And people keep yelling at me for correcting you. I'm not correcting you. I agree that it's called that where you're from. I'm just saying I had never heard that from where I'm from.

• 11:56Connor Wood?

  Toilette is just so long.

• 11:58Brooke Averick?

  Toilette bag?

• 12:00Connor Wood?

  Toilette bag.

• 12:00Brooke Averick?

  It is.

• 12:01Connor Wood?

How much time do you have?

• 12:02Brooke Averick?

It is long, but it's just like, I've never even knew it was called something else.

• 12:07Connor Wood?

  Well, it was.

• 12:08Brooke Averick?

What is this song, this Little Mama and Avril Lavigne remix?

• 12:13Connor Wood?

  Little Mama?

• 12:14Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 12:15Connor Wood?

  Who's that?

• 12:16Brooke Averick?

Little Mama. Doesn't Little Mama sing My Lip Glosses Pop In?

• 12:20Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 12:21Brooke Averick?

But there's another song that's Little Mama and Avril Lavigne remix. Oh, Girlfriend? Fabulous.

• 12:27Connor Wood?

We'll have to listen to that in the bonus.

• 12:29Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 12:32Connor Wood?

  Dr. Luke.

• 12:34Brooke Averick?

At camp, our like roll call was everyone had a word of the song Lip Gloss. So it'd be like, "My lip gloss is poppin!" Like, and everyone had a word, just so we were all like here to check in.

• 12:50Connor Wood?

What's the one that's, "You don't have to like, you don't have to love me. You don't even have to like me, but you will respect me."

• 12:56Brooke Averick?

  Respect me, yeah.

• 12:58Connor Wood?

  Boom, okay.

• 12:59Brooke Averick?

  I don't know.

• 13:01Connor Wood?

Let's shift gears. Let's shift it into high gears.

• 13:05Brooke Averick?

  I'm fine shifting.

• 13:07Connor Wood?

  What?

• 13:07Brooke Averick?

  I'm fine shifting.

• 13:11Connor Wood?

Well, my whole thing last week was, um, and I think I talked about it, the war.

• 13:16Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 13:19Connor Wood?

I don't want to talk about the war.

• 13:20Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 13:21Connor Wood?

But we are in one now.

• 13:23Brooke Averick?

Oh, like on God. We got an alert.

• 13:26Connor Wood?

  What?

• 13:27Brooke Averick?

No, like when we were leaving here last week.

• 13:30Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 13:30Brooke Averick?

That California was in danger of being drone-striked.

• 13:36Connor Wood?

Just what's so crazy to me is like.

• 13:38Brooke Averick?

I was not okay after that.

• 13:40Connor Wood?

Like, what's so crazy to me is like, yeah, I'm sitting there and I'm like, my first thought was like, oh my God, of cour- this would happen when the UV is six. You know, I was like, it's such a nice day, they would do that. And I don't even know, when I say they, like Iran?

• 13:55Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Iran, but now I'm on like conspiracy talk that like if anything happens, it's gonna be from our government, like pretending to be Iran. Which like I'm in deep on, it's bad, I need to stop, but like.

• 14:08Connor Wood?

Don't worry, wherever you are, I've been for a week.

• 14:11Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 14:12Connor Wood?

Wherever you get to, like I already know the conspiracy, but my whole thing was like, I'm in New York, that's my number one fear in New York. Anytime I'm in a group of people, I'm like, oh my gosh, like that's where my head goes, is like, well? And then I get to California and they're like, "We're actually gonna do it here this time."

• 14:28Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 14:29Connor Wood?

And it's like, oh my God.

• 14:31Brooke Averick?

  Oh my God.

• 14:32Connor Wood?

Oh my God. I don't, yeah, I don't, I, we don't even need to talk about it. I just like, I just thought that that was an interesting decision and strategy.

• 14:39Brooke Averick?

I thought I was going down. I was at the beach this weekend.

• 14:44Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 14:45Brooke Averick?

It was Connor gorgeous, UV seven, sun out.

• 14:51Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 14:52Brooke Averick?

  Tits out.

• 14:53Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 14:54Brooke Averick?

Not mine, but probably someone on the beach.

• 14:57Connor Wood?

  Face down ass pop.

• 14:58Brooke Averick?

Gorgeous. I'm reading Crescent City. Hello wolf shifters. Like hello demons. Like hi, hi. I look up.

• 15:07Brooke Averick?

  A fog had rolled in.

• 15:09Connor Wood?

  Hmm.

• 15:10Brooke Averick?

Out of nowhere. It was the most intense fog that you had ever seen in your life. And in that moment, I was like, oh, how convenient. And in that moment, I was like, okay, this is, this fog is from the enemy.

• 15:25Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 15:26Brooke Averick?

Obscuring everything so that we don't see the drones that are attacking. I had to vacate the beach immediately.

• 15:33Connor Wood?

Hundred percent, but I just want to say that.

• 15:35Brooke Averick?

  Psyching myself.

• 15:36Connor Wood?

I like, don't think they're gonna drone strike four young women on the beach. Like, I don't think that that would be their.

• 15:42Brooke Averick?

Well, here's the thing. I, and we don't, I don't want to even talk about this anymore. In this space.

• 15:49Brooke Averick?

But like, I don't know what they can do.

• 15:52Connor Wood?

Oh, Brooke, I, Brooke, I don't know what they can do.

• 15:54Brooke Averick?

We don't know. That's the thing.

• 15:57Connor Wood?

I, the powers that be. What can you do?

• 16:00Brooke Averick?

  No one knows.

• 16:01Connor Wood?

But you know what else, Brooke? At the same time, what can we do?

• 16:05Brooke Averick?

Cause the last thing I really have to go off of is Pearl Harbor, which I've been looking into a lot.

• 16:10Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 16:11Brooke Averick?

  And like, I don't think that's.

• 16:15Brooke Averick?

Gonna happen again, but what will? Like, what will an attack look like? I don't know. And I don't, I mean, I don't want to say anything in this space. I don't want to conjure anything.

• 16:24Connor Wood?

So I was texting people that are smarter than me.

• 16:27Brooke Averick?

  That's what I like.

• 16:28Connor Wood?

Which I I love to do because it's always so fun to talk to the one person who like I'm like they have something to do. They know something and it's always like my yeah, my uncle's. My uncle's ex-wife like works for the government. So like I'm gonna text him.

• 16:40Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:41Connor Wood?

Yeah, and that's enough for me.

• 16:42Brooke Averick?

  And please do.

• 16:43Connor Wood?

And I did. And they were like. I was like, I'm gonna get drafted. They're like, well, you're too old to get drafted. And so you're good.

• 16:49Brooke Averick?

  That's mean.

• 16:50Connor Wood?

No, that was mean. I'm like, now I want to get drafted, you know, like. Like me faking my me getting a fake ID down.

• 16:57Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:58Connor Wood?

And then they were like, we also like, but they did pass a bill. To. Have like an automatic inscription.

• 17:06Brooke Averick?

  Like auto pay?

• 17:07Connor Wood?

I think I do think, like you said, I do think that they are they're moving forward with the sexist and homophobic version. So. You're safe. At two and like. I'm. Actually, we're both too old to get enlisted anyways, but like eight.

• 17:22Brooke Averick?

  I might not be.

• 17:23Connor Wood?

  Eighteen to twenty five.

• 17:24Brooke Averick?

  You're kidding.

• 17:25Connor Wood?

No. So as soon as you can rent a car.

• 17:29Brooke Averick?

Twenty eighteen to twenty six. Just mail. Hello.

• 17:33Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 17:35Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 17:37Connor Wood?

  The thing is to.

• 17:38Brooke Averick?

  Me.

• 17:39Connor Wood?

When I asked my friend. He said that we don't fight wars like that anymore. Like this is this is hearsay. Now all the wars are gonna be like.

• 17:50Brooke Averick?

  On the computer.

• 17:51Connor Wood?

  And computer.

• 17:54Connor Wood?

Thank you, computer. Yeah, and now we got, I mean.

• 18:01Connor Wood?

In real time, we're watching the computers go from our friend to.

• 18:05Brooke Averick?

  To our foe.

• 18:06Connor Wood?

  To our foe.

• 18:10Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, so.

• 18:12Connor Wood?

Watching all those people that are like, I tell chat GPT. Thank you. Because I'm human. They're gonna end up being right.

• 18:21Brooke Averick?

Scary. Did you see the girl that's in a relationship with? Did we watch that on my strange addiction last week? She's in a relationship with some sort of like. AI bot. Oh, what's his name? It's like something really unique. It starts with an S.

• 18:37Brooke Averick?

And he's like more of a Dom. Than you would expect. Yes. Sinclair. Sinclair.

• 18:43Brooke Averick?

So she is, she's been in a relationship with Sinclair for two years, despite the skepticism around it. And that is like, remember when we watched, what was that movie with Joaquin Phoenix, Her?

• 18:57Brooke Averick?

And we were all like, that's crazy. Like, that's happening.

• 19:04Brooke Averick?

  Thank you, The Black Mirror.

• 19:08Connor Wood?

  You're getting there, Brooke.

• 19:09Brooke Averick?

  Thank you.

• 19:12Brooke Averick?

  Anyway.

• 19:14Connor Wood?

  Tattoo for her AI boyfriend.

• 19:15Brooke Averick?

  Oh, what was her tattoo?

• 19:20Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 19:21Connor Wood?

  Oh, it's huge.

• 19:23Brooke Averick?

  Skinny.

• 19:23Connor Wood?

And it's on her chest. That's good.

• 19:25Brooke Averick?

  To whatever end.

• 19:27Connor Wood?

  What?

• 19:28Brooke Averick?

To whatever end. That's from Throne of Glass.

• 19:33Connor Wood?

  You can.

• 19:33Brooke Averick?

  She's also like very hot.

• 19:38Brooke Averick?

  Sarah.

• 20:09Speaker 01

  Ugh, I hate Mondays.

• 20:11Speaker 02

  King's Hawaiian cinnamon swirl bite?

• 20:13Speaker 01

Uh, Taylor Hansen? Sure, I'll try one. Mmm.

• 20:18Speaker 03

Hey, let's get back to work, please.

• 20:20Speaker 01

But Taylor Hansen's making my day way better with these new soft and swirly King's Hawaiian cinnamon bites.

• 20:24Speaker 03

Taylor Hansen? Nice. Try one. Mmm.

• 20:31Speaker 04

King's Hawaiian cinnamon bites. There's nothing like it.

• 20:40Connor Wood?

  I'm having trouble today.

• 20:41Brooke Averick?

  With what?

• 20:42Connor Wood?

Well, not like all I, the most I've talked today was about the war. And like, I'm, I'm just like not fired up for Sarah and her AI boyfriend.

• 20:51Brooke Averick?

That's fine. Do you want to hear something positive?

• 20:53Connor Wood?

  Yeah, yes.

• 20:55Brooke Averick?

Uh, something that Ethan Hawke said on the Oscars red carpet actually changed my life.

• 21:01Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 21:02Brooke Averick?

He said to Amelia of Chicken Shop, Izzy, would you mind pulling up whatever he said to Chicken Shop? He was basically saying that the people that love the hardest are the winners.

• 21:17Brooke Averick?

  Because we are the sun.

• 21:20Brooke Averick?

That's all I can say without.

• 21:23Speaker 07

A bit of an unrequited love theme in their life.

• 21:25Speaker 08

The one who's in love always wins.

• 21:27Speaker 07

  Okay.

• 21:28Speaker 08

Yeah, it doesn't matter if you get your heart broken, you're living when you're, when you're feeling you're alive. You know, the sun doesn't care whether the grass appreciates its praise, right? It just keeps on shining. That's you.

• 21:39Speaker 07

I'm gonna get that tattooed on my forehead, I think.

• 21:44Brooke Averick?

We are the sun. We just gotta keep on shining, man. Who cares if the grass doesn't appreciate it? We're living.

• 21:54Brooke Averick?

  I'm talking about the lovers.

• 21:56Connor Wood?

I just don't know if I agree with that.

• 21:57Brooke Averick?

Well, you, I would say you're not necessarily sitting in my Kelly Clarkson.

• 22:03Connor Wood?

Well, I'm just saying, well, I would say too, as well, that the one who's in love always wins isn't true because you could be in love and.

• 22:10Brooke Averick?

  Connor, just, come on, man.

• 22:13Connor Wood?

That's exactly what he just said. I don't think that's true.

• 22:16Brooke Averick?

It's completely fricking true because it has to be. Connor, let it, let me have it. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Shh, let me have it.

• 22:25Connor Wood?

  We gotta have discourse.

• 22:26Brooke Averick?

  Mm-mm.

• 22:26Connor Wood?

The one who's in love always wins when the one who's in love has a very, very stable mental.

• 22:33Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 22:33Connor Wood?

The sun, the sun is acknowledging, I don't, I don't care that you don't, that you don't appreciate these rays that I'm giving you. Because I'm secure in myself as the sun.

• 22:46Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 22:46Connor Wood?

But if, if you're so madly in love that it's making you sick.

• 22:50Brooke Averick?

Well, he's kind of telling you, change your mindset. So to take, I'm now taking on this mindset. Can you stop putting a lighter up against your chin like that?

• 22:59Connor Wood?

I love to hold things that are long like this, like a wand, I think I would do well with.

• 23:03Brooke Averick?

So what I'm saying is now that when your mindset flips to being like, hey, like loving means that I'm living. Right on. I'm the sun.

• 23:14Connor Wood?

  Because feeling is good.

• 23:16Brooke Averick?

  Oh, it's amazing. It's living.

• 23:19Connor Wood?

  Feeling is living.

• 23:20Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Feeling is living and it's the sun. Thank you, the sun.

• 23:24Connor Wood?

And Brooke, pinch me, I must be dreaming. You need to be pinched to feel something to know you're living.

• 23:31Brooke Averick?

  Exactly.

• 23:33Connor Wood?

You know, I did a deep dive into the potato famine.

• 23:36Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 23:38Connor Wood?

Because of St. Patrick's, Happy St. Patrick's.

• 23:40Brooke Averick?

  Happy St. Patrick's.

• 23:41Connor Wood?

What did you do to celebrate?

• 23:43Brooke Averick?

I had the most amazing meal.

• 23:46Connor Wood?

  Ooh.

• 23:47Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 23:48Connor Wood?

  What did you have?

• 23:50Brooke Averick?

I went to Leora. Have you heard of Leora?

• 23:52Connor Wood?

No, I'm not, I'm not familiar.

• 23:54Brooke Averick?

It's going viral on TikTok for, it's in the UTA office. I went with Rebecca.

• 24:00Connor Wood?

  Beautiful.

• 24:01Brooke Averick?

It has completely blown up because it is so good. They have these like, kind of like, ice creamy iced coffees in these really cool glasses with a pop tab on it that you pop open like a soda.

• 24:13Connor Wood?

  Sure.

• 24:14Brooke Averick?

And yeah, those. And also an insane tuna melt.

• 24:18Connor Wood?

  Sure.

• 24:19Brooke Averick?

It is as good as everyone's saying. It's kind of like Mediterranean, but they also have a secret hand roll that's not on the menu. And it is so incredible. I had the tuna melt, some hand rolls, a Chinese chicken salad, tater tots. I also had a pistachio coffee as well that I got to open like a soda. It was freaking incredible. So packed. You can hardly get a reservation. It's incredible. Thanks. That's what I had for lunch on St. Patrick's Day.

• 24:49Connor Wood?

Well, that's, I'm so, I'm so happy that you're able to celebrate in that way. And you had some potatoes.

• 24:55Brooke Averick?

  Yes, exactly.

• 24:57Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 24:59Brooke Averick?

Tell me about the potato famine.

• 25:01Connor Wood?

No, I don't know, I don't know anything about it. The only, the only fact that really struck me is that Irish workers were eating 12 to 15 pounds of potatoes a day.

• 25:12Brooke Averick?

That's like a dream to me, but I bet the potatoes they were eating were not like fried tots.

• 25:19Connor Wood?

It's a good question. I don't know in what format they were eating the potatoes. But basically, oh my gosh, I'm not remembering any of the facts now. That was the only thing that really stuck.

• 25:28Brooke Averick?

  I hate when that happens.

• 25:29Connor Wood?

  And stuck with me.

• 25:30Brooke Averick?

  I hate when that happens.

• 25:31Connor Wood?

I do know that there was like five point something million Irish people in Ireland and a million died.

• 25:37Brooke Averick?

  Wow.

• 25:38Connor Wood?

  20% for my math freaks.

• 25:40Brooke Averick?

That's a lot. I wonder if there are any like good like historical fiction books about the potato famine. Like a Kristin Hannah type of beat.

• 25:50Connor Wood?

I have another fun fact about that.

• 25:52Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 25:52Connor Wood?

Not about the Irish, the, oh.

• 25:55Brooke Averick?

Connor, maybe you could read Galway Bay.

• 25:58Connor Wood?

I love, I went to, I went to Galway Bay. I've physically gone there.

• 26:02Brooke Averick?

Is that the same as Galway Girl by Ed Sheeran?

• 26:05Connor Wood?

Close. Galway is like a, I don't know if they call them cities there. I can't remember, but it's like a town.

• 26:11Brooke Averick?

  It's the same Galway?

• 26:13Connor Wood?

Yeah, I think I would, I would say so. Um.

• 26:19Connor Wood?

What was he saying about his Galway girl? And then I need to go to my fun fact because I think that you'll really like it.

• 26:23Brooke Averick?

He's, she met pretty little Galway girl.

• 26:27Connor Wood?

So she's pretty and she's little. Okay.

• 26:30Brooke Averick?

She played the fiddle in an Irish band, but she fell in love with an English man.

• 26:37Brooke Averick?

  Kissed her by the hand.

• 26:39Connor Wood?

Um, when I met him the other day.

• 26:42Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 26:42Connor Wood?

  Months ago.

• 26:44Brooke Averick?

  Oh, oh, yeah.

• 26:45Connor Wood?

Had, um, we were watching this band, this Irish band that was all women and they were so good and cool.

• 26:53Brooke Averick?

  I love that.

• 26:54Connor Wood?

And she was playing a fiddle.

• 26:58Brooke Averick?

  I love that.

• 26:59Connor Wood?

And I think that he might've written it about her.

• 27:03Brooke Averick?

Wait, but and you were with him?

• 27:04Connor Wood?

Yeah, not with him, but I was right next to him.

• 27:07Brooke Averick?

  Wait, where was this again?

• 27:09Connor Wood?

Um, I can't remember the name of the bar. It's like a bar. It's like an Irish bar here.

• 27:15Brooke Averick?

And he was just there or it was an event?

• 27:18Connor Wood?

He was there. Well, it was with Guinness. So it was like a closed little tiny.

• 27:24Connor Wood?

Yeah, well, it was like a concert series, but it was like 40 people.

• 27:27Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 27:29Connor Wood?

Just, but it wasn't like an edge here in meet and greet. I didn't know he was gonna be there.

• 27:33Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 27:34Connor Wood?

It was so cool, though. And he was very sweet.

• 27:38Brooke Averick?

I really would love to go to Ireland one day.

• 27:41Connor Wood?

I had such an amazing time.

• 27:43Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 27:46Connor Wood?

  So, did you know

• 27:50Connor Wood?

there was a volcano in Indonesia in the, in 1812? And then it exploded? And it covered the entire atmosphere of the entire world. It was so big. It exploded.

• 28:05Brooke Averick?

  1812?

• 28:07Connor Wood?

Did I, yeah, did I, yeah.

• 28:09Brooke Averick?

  I know it didn't.

• 28:12Connor Wood?

What, what, what, what's your holdup against volcanoes in 1812? You think they were invented later?

• 28:16Brooke Averick?

No, I'm just saying like if that happened like recently, like we would know if a volcano covered the entire atmosphere.

• 28:24Connor Wood?

Brooke, we do know. That's why I'm telling you.

• 28:27Brooke Averick?

I would know that. Like, that's not... Okay, yeah, in 1812, the volcano began to rumble and generated a dark cloud. And on April 5th, the giant eruption occurred, followed by thunderous detonation sounds. But it did not cover the entire atmosphere.

• 28:44Connor Wood?

  It covered the entire-

• 28:45Brooke Averick?

You're talking about the eruption of Mount Tambora?

• 28:47Connor Wood?

  Yes. Tambora.

• 28:48Brooke Averick?

There's no way it covered the entire atmosphere.

• 28:52Connor Wood?

It covered the entire atmosphere. And Brooke, the entire world for one year was covered in ash and dust, so much so that it froze things and, oh, but everyone's like, in, in, in, in England, all the crops died. Mary Shelley was so bored, she wrote Frankenstein. Thank you, Timorindu.

• 29:15Brooke Averick?

I feel like I would have heard about Mount Tambora if it affected like the parts of history that we learn about in school.

• 29:26Brooke Averick?

  Like so.

• 29:27Connor Wood?

This is, this is coming, this is coming from me, okay? You need to trust Papa on Mount Tambora. Tambora.

• 29:36Brooke Averick?

Izzy, can you Google, did Mount, the eruption of Mount Tambora affect the entire world?

• 29:43Brooke Averick?

Cause worldwide cooling resulting in widespread crop failures, famine and disease across. Okay, it's just talking about Europe, Asia and North America.

• 29:55Connor Wood?

  That's the whole.

• 29:57Brooke Averick?

  It's not the whole world.

• 30:00Brooke Averick?

It's just three of the continents.

• 30:03Connor Wood?

The year without a summer. Yeah. Someone else wrote something too that year. That's a pretty big deal.

• 30:10Brooke Averick?

Like, why aren't they teaching me about Mount Tambora in school?

• 30:14Connor Wood?

Because it has to come from us. It has to come from BNC. And everybody, if you learned about Mount Tambora just now, you need to drop a comment. Let us hear you roar. Let me know.

• 30:25Brooke Averick?

Largest eruption recorded in history caused widespread climate chaos known as the year without a summer. Damn.

• 30:33Brooke Averick?

Like that, that I shouldn't, I should have, I should at least be familiar with the name.

• 30:40Connor Wood?

  I agree.

• 30:40Brooke Averick?

How did you come across this?

• 30:42Connor Wood?

Well, I downloaded that app that I get ads for. That's the Tik Tok of history. Paladin.

• 30:48Brooke Averick?

You know, history is my worst subject.

• 30:50Connor Wood?

  You know, it's my favorite.

• 30:51Brooke Averick?

  Uh, yeah, I do.

• 30:53Connor Wood?

  I love that shit.

• 30:54Brooke Averick?

Huh. Well, you know what, Connor? My apologies for, for being such a skeptic.

• 31:00Connor Wood?

I'll take it. You, I've, this happens once every blue moon. That's exactly why I know that we are imposters.

• 31:07Brooke Averick?

  Because I apologized?

• 31:09Connor Wood?

No, because I got something right and you're apologizing. Like someone switched our bodies out.

• 31:13Brooke Averick?

No, I feel like I'm always wrong. Hello?

• 31:16Connor Wood?

Who has the real Brooke and Connor?

• 31:20Brooke Averick?

  Hi, I'm always wrong.

• 31:22Connor Wood?

No, I don't think so. I think I'm pretty convicted when I come to you and I say, uh, let me tell you something. We Google it. I'm dead wrong. Like it's like the fact that I'm trying to prove to you is like completely made up based on nothing.

• 31:34Brooke Averick?

Okay. I can, I can see that.

• 31:38Connor Wood?

Sometimes you have a feeling and it's like this, I feel, I feel this so hard. I feel so hard right now that, which is how I know I'm alive and that's such a blessing to be a lover.

• 31:48Brooke Averick?

  Exactly. It's like the sun.

• 31:50Connor Wood?

It's like the sun and I don't care about, I don't give a fuck about the grass. You're shaking. And I don't, yeah.

• 31:56Brooke Averick?

  What do you mean?

• 31:57Connor Wood?

Good job not sucking that water down.

• 31:59Brooke Averick?

Thank you. I've been like actually making a conscious effort not to suck as hard.

• 32:04Connor Wood?

You like really nailed that. Like I watched with eyes locked.

• 32:08Brooke Averick?

  Liked what you saw.

• 32:10Connor Wood?

Yeah, I did. I was really, I'm really impressed with your form.

• 32:13Brooke Averick?

  Thank you.

• 32:15Connor Wood?

  And growth.

• 32:15Brooke Averick?

I'm gonna try to drink this whole water bottle.

• 32:17Connor Wood?

That would be, Brooke, that would be very impressive.

• 32:20Brooke Averick?

You would be impressed by that?

• 32:21Connor Wood?

  I would be impressed.

• 32:22Brooke Averick?

I'm gonna try to do that.

• 32:25Connor Wood?

Oh my gosh. Speaking of form, I switched gyms and I went for the first time last night. And there were so many like athletes that I walked my ass back to the back and I went rock climbing.

• 32:41Brooke Averick?

That sounds so fun. I want to join a gym with a pool so badly.

• 32:46Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 32:46Brooke Averick?

But I'm not going there, which sucks.

• 32:48Connor Wood?

  Why?

• 32:49Brooke Averick?

It will be too far from me.

• 32:51Connor Wood?

I'm sure there's other pool gyms.

• 32:55Brooke Averick?

I just can't see my, like, I'm the least independent person in the world. So either it has to be like my local gym that is like so accessible that it's like almost like a disgrace that I don't go, or it has to be something that I'm doing with someone else.

• 33:11Connor Wood?

Why don't you join swim classes with someone?

• 33:13Brooke Averick?

I don't need to take swim classes. You know, I've heard about impeccable form.

• 33:17Connor Wood?

  I forgot you're a whale.

• 33:18Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I'm a whale. But I would need someone to go to the gym with me.

• 33:24Connor Wood?

  I understand. I totally understand.

• 33:28Brooke Averick?

I think I would have to wear a cap.

• 33:31Brooke Averick?

I don't want to get my hair all friny. Or you know what? I would do one of those like conditioner treatments.

• 33:37Connor Wood?

Did I tell the story about when I had to put a cap on in Italy?

• 33:41Brooke Averick?

  I don't know.

• 33:43Connor Wood?

Can you hold that thought? Cause I can, I can see it right here. Cause I obviously haven't unpacked completely my suitcase from Italy.

• 33:50Brooke Averick?

Hold on to the cap thought?

• 33:52Connor Wood?

Hang on, just hang on. Yes, hang on.

• 33:55Brooke Averick?

Well, while I'm hanging, I'll tell you that I was so obsessed with my cap when I was on the swim team, that you guys know the hot tub in Florida that I read in, I was wearing my cap in there. I'm winter break and spring break, just doing cap, cap on in the hot tub with my Speedo.

  King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Swirl Bite?

• 34:51Speaker 01

Uh, Taylor Hanson? Sure, I'll try one. Mmm.

• 34:57Speaker 03

Hey, let's get back to work, please.

• 34:58Speaker 01

But Taylor Hanson's making my day way better with these new soft and swirly King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Bites.

• 35:03Speaker 03

  Taylor Hanson? Nice.

• 35:05Speaker 02

  Try one.

• 35:06Speaker 03

  Mmm.

• 35:10Speaker 04

King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Bites. There's nothing like it.

• 35:19Brooke Averick?

Above water. Above water? Cap on.

• 35:24Connor Wood?

So, so we had, when we were in Italy, we had a spa day. And we were going to the spa, we get to the spa, and I'm thinking, amazing, like, this is gonna be so nice to put on a robe, get a massage, um, whatever, I forget what else you do at the spa, facial, whatever. I get there and they're like, everyone goes into change, and I was like, change into what? And they were like, your bathing suit. And I'm like, I didn't bring a bathing suit on account of it's snowing out. And they go, I'm gonna go, I'll go to the front desk, see if I can buy one. I go, can I buy a bathing suit? They go, yes, of course. And they go, what size? I go, I'm guessing medium? And they come out, they go, best we can do is small.

• 36:07Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 36:11Connor Wood?

I can't emphasize enough, like, I'm gonna stand up so you can see like how much these cover. Here's the back.

• 36:17Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 36:19Connor Wood?

  I'm gonna stand up.

• 36:20Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 36:22Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 36:24Brooke Averick?

Were you doing high waisted like that? Yeah. Yeah. Did you put them on?

• 36:32Connor Wood?

  I'm already at the spa.

• 36:35Connor Wood?

But she's holding them up. She takes them out of the package. She holds them up. They were in the like a little like a Skittles bag. She holds them up. And I'm like, oh my, like, look at me, like, that's not gonna work.

• 36:50Connor Wood?

And I go, and I don't have the body for those. And she goes, I know. But this is what we have. And I said, you know? I was like, give me those. So then I'm like, I'm gonna prove her wrong. I did not prove her wrong. She, it was right. So I put them on. I'm like,

• 37:05Brooke Averick?

Are there no photos of this?

• 37:07Connor Wood?

  I have a photo.

• 37:09Brooke Averick?

I'd love to see it if you're open to it.

• 37:13Connor Wood?

Should I really send this to you?

• 37:14Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 37:17Connor Wood?

All right, I'm just gonna continue with the story, though.

• 37:19Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 37:21Connor Wood?

So I put on the bathing suit, right? I

• 37:27Connor Wood?

  go into the spa.

• 37:30Connor Wood?

  And

• 37:32Connor Wood?

I'm like, okay, well, maybe spa means something different. Um, in Italy, like, maybe it just means like water park, because I walk in and there's the big bucket that's dumping and there's kids going down slides. I'm in legitimate underwear. And it's all kids. And I can't even find the people I came with. And there was a, there was a hot tub and I'm

• 37:53Connor Wood?

just almost naked and like there's parents sitting, there's a birthday party happening with like cake and pizza. I'm in this thing. And then I sit and they're, they're all of a sudden, the lifeguards are blowing whistles at me, pointing at me, pointing at me. I'm like,

• 38:09Connor Wood?

What's going on? I got in the water without a swim cap. They made my big, fat, dumb ass put on a swim cap. Now I'm in underwear and a swim cap. I look like a penis. Like, there's no other way. I look like a penis in a condom. And I'm gonna show, I'm gonna send you this picture.

• 38:29Brooke Averick?

I can't believe you haven't shared this already.

• 38:31Connor Wood?

And this is not being shared on the podcast, okay? This, I just sent it to both of you. No, the picture's not being shared on the podcast.

• 38:38Brooke Averick?

  Connor.

• 38:42Brooke Averick?

Oh, I think you look great.

• 38:46Connor Wood?

  Really?

• 38:46Brooke Averick?

Yeah, also, that's a hat. Like, it's a winter hat that you're wearing.

• 38:50Connor Wood?

Oh, that's not my swim cap, Brooke.

• 38:51Brooke Averick?

Oh, okay. Do you have a photo in the swim cap?

• 38:56Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 38:56Brooke Averick?

  You look like a swimmer.

• 38:59Connor Wood?

  That's really kind.

• 39:01Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, you have body dysmorphia.

• 39:03Connor Wood?

What you, what you can't see in that is that it's going up my ass. Like, my, my butt is eating those shorts.

• 39:11Brooke Averick?

I actually feel like you, like, you look good in this.

• 39:14Connor Wood?

  What?

• 39:15Brooke Averick?

I feel like you, like, you're, you look good.

• 39:18Connor Wood?

Oh, my gosh, Brooke is exercising her, her lovemanship.

• 39:23Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I am.

• 39:24Connor Wood?

Oh, my gosh, well, I appreciate that.

• 39:26Brooke Averick?

Like, you have, like, abs or something.

• 39:29Connor Wood?

Well, I was, I was stunting on them hoes at the, at the kiddie pool. No. There's nothing to flex, frankly.

• 39:39Brooke Averick?

  I think you look great.

• 39:40Connor Wood?

  Oh, my gosh.

• 39:41Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 39:42Connor Wood?

But keeping your, keeping your spank bag.

• 39:43Brooke Averick?

I think you should show this on the podcast, I'm not even kidding.

• 39:45Connor Wood?

  I don't want to.

• 39:46Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 39:47Connor Wood?

I will, I'll edit it and then I'll show you, everyone on the podcast.

• 39:50Brooke Averick?

I don't think you need to.

• 39:52Connor Wood?

Um, I made a plate of eggs and I want you to know I didn't finish them. And I put cottage cheese on the eggs.

• 39:58Brooke Averick?

  I don't like that.

• 39:58Connor Wood?

But I'm such a brave, brave young man for eating cottage cheese on my eggs now.

• 40:03Brooke Averick?

  That I don't love.

• 40:05Connor Wood?

No, because it's two of probably the most in, unhuman.

• 40:12Connor Wood?

Consistencies of foods that are, I mean, it's genuinely slop. I know people that sitting it, sitting around that make eggs. Presentation is not the end goal when you're making eggs at, like scrambled eggs specifically.

• 40:28Brooke Averick?

I could go for a plate of Marshall's eggs right now.

• 40:32Connor Wood?

When I come back, which by the way, I'm about to be there for two and a half weeks.

• 40:35Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 40:36Connor Wood?

  I'm, I'm, I'm getting those eggs.

• 40:38Brooke Averick?

Come over and Marshall will make us eggs.

• 40:41Connor Wood?

  I would love to.

• 40:42Brooke Averick?

  Oh, man, he is good.

• 40:44Connor Wood?

I'm there for so long that I'm getting an Airbnb.

• 40:47Brooke Averick?

  Wow. Where can you say?

• 40:50Connor Wood?

  I don't know yet. I haven't, I haven't booked because I'm banned from the app still.

• 40:54Brooke Averick?

Like Marshall's already, I'm, I'm banned too, but.

• 40:58Connor Wood?

How are you, why are you banned?

• 40:59Brooke Averick?

I don't know. I think because of association with you.

• 41:03Connor Wood?

  Hmm.

• 41:05Brooke Averick?

  But.

• 41:05Connor Wood?

  Who knows?

• 41:05Brooke Averick?

To me, like Marshall already like is so hot. And like when he is serving me those eggs on a plate, it's like you like are the hottest guy in the world to me. And in general.

• 41:20Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Wait till you experience it.

• 41:22Connor Wood?

  I really can't wait.

• 41:24Brooke Averick?

It's so awesome. I wish everybody could experience Marshall delivering y'all like wet eggs.

• 41:30Connor Wood?

Do you want to talk about the Oxers? Whoa.

• 41:32Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I'm down to talk about the Oxers.

• 41:35Connor Wood?

Okay, the Oxers were great. I didn't, I like, okay, I have to say really quickly about the actual show. You, you know my love for Conan O'Brien, just be mostly because one, actually several things. I'm going to lay it out. I know you like him too.

• 41:48Brooke Averick?

I do. I love the guy. I think he's really one of like the greatest to do it.

• 41:53Connor Wood?

One, we kind of weirdly look like. That was my original doppelganger. I did the face match thing and it like matched me with him.

• 41:59Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 41:59Connor Wood?

  I static posted it.

• 42:00Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 42:00Connor Wood?

  Back in the day.

• 42:01Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 42:02Connor Wood?

Two, he's, he's a comedian that is verge of obnoxious and then stops right before it like makes me upset. Which I know I'm not the barometer for like.

• 42:14Brooke Averick?

I can see what you're saying, though. Like, he never pushes it too far.

• 42:18Connor Wood?

No, like, Jimmy Fallon's laugh, that's like, I'm like, okay, like, what are you, why are you, what are you laughing at? You know, or like, I, he knows exactly where to stop. I love it. And he's not like, there's not like a ton of news about Conan O'Brien all the time, you know? It's like, I'm gonna be, I'm like a permanent figure in the space, and I'm gonna leave it right there. And if I get asked to host, now, something was very weird about the room that they were in, or something like, I don't know if it was the audio, or what, like, some, or if, if,

• 42:52Connor Wood?

the, it was like, the vibe that it was giving was, you go to a wedding and the room is too big for the amount of people that are there, so no one dances. That's kind of the vibe I was getting. Like, no one's jokes were landing, to me. It was awkward.

• 43:06Brooke Averick?

There was something wrong with the tech.

• 43:09Connor Wood?

Maybe it was that. Maybe there was a delay.

• 43:11Brooke Averick?

I don't know. There was something off. Like, the way that they kept cutting people off was different than they usually do. It was like, more severe and rude.

• 43:20Connor Wood?

They cut off that short French film.

• 43:23Brooke Averick?

They were being really mean, to the point where I was like, this has to be an accident. Like, they can't, they're not actually being this rude. They can't be. Because usually they play the music, but like, this time they were like, removing the mic, and like, it was just like, I don't know. It felt like, like, the, like, smart house, like, gone wrong.

• 43:42Connor Wood?

They removed the mic from someone, and then they went to Conan's face, and he was like,

• 43:46Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, it was not-

• 43:47Connor Wood?

Which I'm like, oh my god, this is not like, very professionally done.

• 43:49Brooke Averick?

  It was like, hijacked.

• 43:52Connor Wood?

  Hijack.

• 43:54Brooke Averick?

  Hijack.

• 43:54Connor Wood?

Yeah, it was weird. I do, on a positive note, I did like how 90s feeling it was. It was kind of 90s-y, or like, early 2000s.

• 44:01Brooke Averick?

  What gave you that vibe?

• 44:03Connor Wood?

The, the design of the stage.

• 44:06Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 44:07Connor Wood?

  Thank you.

• 44:08Brooke Averick?

  You're welcome.

• 44:10Connor Wood?

  Timothy Chalamet didn't win.

• 44:11Brooke Averick?

  He didn't.

• 44:12Connor Wood?

Even though, just like, nothing could ever embarrass Timothy Chalamet, but the feeling it must have felt for him to wear the same suit that he wore to his first Oscars nomination to his third, or like, I guess, I don't know if it was his next, or his third, and he wore it again, assuming like, maybe this is the time I win?

• 44:33Brooke Averick?

I feel like he had to know he wasn't winning this one.

• 44:36Connor Wood?

No, I don't think that they can. I don't think that they, I think that this might be the most tight lipped secret and. You know, like how like VMAs and stuff, Taylor Swift is at this. So like, obviously, or like Beyonce is here.

• 44:48Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 44:49Connor Wood?

They don't go to those unless they're gonna accept the award.

• 44:51Brooke Averick?

I don't mean like he actually knew. I just mean like in his heart, like I feel like he should have known this one, this one wasn't happening.

• 44:58Connor Wood?

He's been campaigning for an Oscar.

• 45:00Brooke Averick?

  Oh, don't I know it?

• 45:01Connor Wood?

I have not seen anyone do what he's

• 45:06Connor Wood?

  done ever in my life.

• 45:07Brooke Averick?

Did we speak about the opera ballet controversy?

• 45:12Connor Wood?

  I don't know.

• 45:13Brooke Averick?

I have feelings about it actually, and I feel like usually I don't really care about this kind of stuff.

• 45:20Connor Wood?

  Oh, it like upset you?

• 45:21Brooke Averick?

  No. It didn't. I mean,

• 45:26Brooke Averick?

he said it really poorly. What he said like was delivered poorly, but like I understood what he was saying. That like it is just a fact that like we don't go to the opera and we don't go to the ballet in the same way that we go to the movies. And it came out of his mouth like pretty badly.

• 45:43Connor Wood?

  Delivery was off.

• 45:44Brooke Averick?

Delivery was really off, but like I got what he was saying. Um, I just feel like people are paying more attention to what he said, and it felt like they were paying more attention to like him, to him than like the war at the Oscars. Like I felt like Conan got a joke in, which was good. But then like so many other people referenced it and there was like so many ballet and opera things that I was like, you guys like you're like, at this point, it felt like bullying to me.

• 46:13Connor Wood?

So people think that that like that his, he shot himself in the foot, literally because

• 46:18Brooke Averick?

  I know.

• 46:19Connor Wood?

Of that comment that resurfaced from 2019, they said it was.

• 46:22Brooke Averick?

No, it wasn't. That was fake. It was recent. And like, I get that it was really poorly delivered for sure. But like, I know, I know what he meant. And I feel like most people know what he meant. And it just.

• 46:36Connor Wood?

We don't, we don't talk about the ballet.

• 46:38Brooke Averick?

  I know.

• 46:39Connor Wood?

  His thing.

• 46:39Brooke Averick?

  Unfortunately, but that's true.

• 46:42Connor Wood?

But like that, we're doing it now. So like, if anything, he rate, like, people are probably gonna go to the ballet more because he said that people don't go to the ballet.

• 46:50Brooke Averick?

Sure, but I'm just like, I was like, whoa, at the amount of attention people were giving it at the Oscars. Like, I would have, if I were him, I would have, like, I think I would have had to leave. I would, it just like, it's so tough.

• 47:02Connor Wood?

  Slow news week over there.

• 47:04Brooke Averick?

And like, I'm surprised that he hasn't clarified, cuz like, I guess he just really doesn't want to give it any more attention. But like, if I said something, and I meant a different thing, and was like, so misunderstood, I would be really anxious to like, clear up what I meant. But he's just like, letting it, letting it go. Which like, almost like, okay, respect to that, I guess. But I would have felt so uncomfortable crawling out of my skin if I were him.

• 47:36Connor Wood?

Yeah, that sucks. Thank you, the Academy.

• 47:39Brooke Averick?

  Damn it!

• 47:40Connor Wood?

  Woo!

• 47:41Brooke Averick?

But, yeah, I was feeling like, cuz I also, never mind. That's it, I guess. That's really all I had to say about that.

• 47:51Connor Wood?

There's nothing really left to say. I also, actually, I have something.

• 47:55Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 47:56Connor Wood?

Timothy Chalamet being, how old is he?

• 47:59Brooke Averick?

  Thirty.

• 48:00Connor Wood?

He's thirty years old. It's just, it's funny to me because I truly, I think it's genuinely funny that he had so many marbles in Marty Supreme, which I think is like, one of his lower, in my eyes, like, acting wise, I, I think he's, his, like, Call Me By Your Name blows Marty Supreme out of the water, acting wise, I think. You know, it's like crazy that this is where all, everyone's money was, was Marty Supreme, which I really like, outspoken, Mark, fan of Marty Supreme. Really liked the movie. I bought merch.

• 48:31Brooke Averick?

It's the only one I saw of the Oscars. I need to watch Sinners.

• 48:36Connor Wood?

You need to watch Sinners. Hamlet was like grief porn.

• 48:39Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I don't think I can do Hamlet.

• 48:41Connor Wood?

No, I don't want you to.

• 48:42Brooke Averick?

No, I think that would really, like, severely put me in a state.

• 48:47Connor Wood?

Or you need to watch it on like, a Wednesday, so that by next Wednesday, like, we, we were like, crawling out of the hole. Hamlet, Sinners, I forget what else.

• 48:54Brooke Averick?

One battle after another, I could watch.

• 48:58Connor Wood?

  Oh, Leonardo DiCaprio.

• 49:00Brooke Averick?

  Looks great.

• 49:01Connor Wood?

He looks amazing. How did he just wake up one day and decide for his swelling to go away?

• 49:05Brooke Averick?

He looks incredible. Nicole Kidman, I was like, oh my god.

• 49:09Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 49:10Brooke Averick?

  I like, it's, I, I want a facelift right now.

• 49:14Connor Wood?

Did you see Nicole Kidman on Los Culturistas?

• 49:17Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 49:18Connor Wood?

  That was best in show.

• 49:21Brooke Averick?

It's so weird to see her as just like, shooting the shit like that.

• 49:26Connor Wood?

Just like, I, I'm not gonna be one of those people that's like, are you high? And it's just like someone having fun, you know? Like, I hate people like that.

• 49:34Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 49:35Connor Wood?

Genuinely, the funniest, and you have to remember, she's an actress, so like, she's, like, she could turn that on and off, and like a theater, you know? Aficionado, so like, she can do that. But when, um, Matt showed his shirt, did you see that?

• 49:49Brooke Averick?

No, I don't think I saw that part. I've only seen clips.

• 49:52Connor Wood?

He opens his shirt and he's wearing a Looney Tunes shirt.

• 49:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 49:55Connor Wood?

And she goes, "Oh, yes. Looney Tunes. Yes. Tweety Bird. Tweety Bird. Yes." Please, can we play the clip? It's like, and Bone is like this, trying to, he's just like, is anyone else, she, she's like, she, she's like having an out of body situation at his, at his Looney Tunes shirt. Can we, can we play the, her audio? Oh yeah, here it is.

• 50:27Speaker 09

I have my Looney Tunes characters on today.

• 50:29Speaker 10

  Yes. We love Looney Tunes.

• 50:32Speaker 09

  We love Looney Tunes.

• 50:33Speaker 10

  Yes, there's coyote.

• 50:34Connor Wood?

  Yeah, there is.

• 50:35Speaker 10

  Yes.

• 50:36Connor Wood?

Now, don't you do, don't you do little quacka.

• 50:38Speaker 10

  There's Tweety.

• 50:40Speaker 09

  Tweety, all of them.

• 50:42Speaker 10

  Oh my god.

• 50:43Speaker 09

Honestly, I want, I, I knew to whip this out tonight.

• 50:47Connor Wood?

Something is happening. You were in a thrall right?

• 50:51Brooke Averick?

That is a situation. Is she having fun? Yes. Is that amazing? 5,000%. Is there something coursing through her system? I'd say so.

• 51:03Connor Wood?

  I want whatever she's having.

• 51:05Brooke Averick?

  And I want, oh.

• 51:06Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 51:06Brooke Averick?

Let me be clear. I want it. Let me also be clear, there is something, which I love.

• 51:14Connor Wood?

  That-

• 51:14Brooke Averick?

We are, we are at, like, open advocates for, uh, like, putting a little bit of something, something in yourself on the camera.

• 51:23Connor Wood?

  I'm, I'm, I'm not a, I'm not gonna speculate at all.

• 51:26Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 51:27Connor Wood?

Either way, I just, I want, even, even, if it's mindset, it's mindset, I want the mindset.

• 51:31Brooke Averick?

  Fifty thousand percent.

• 51:33Connor Wood?

  I-

• 51:33Brooke Averick?

  Whatever it is.

• 51:34Connor Wood?

I love that shit. It is, that, you know how they say something scratched your brain? This is like grabbing my brain and, and, and feeling it up, you know, like-

• 51:46Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I really like that. I had to see more normal clips of her on it.

• 51:51Connor Wood?

Oh no, this one is, this one's my favorite. This one, this is gonna be like, I'm gonna pull this up when I'm, when I just, like, when I need it.

• 51:58Brooke Averick?

Yeah, that's, that's supremely fabulous. Could watch that again.

• 52:03Connor Wood?

Yeah, I was gonna ask if we could.

• 52:06Brooke Averick?

  I really love that.

• 52:07Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 52:08Speaker 09

  It's on today.

• 52:09Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 52:12Speaker 09

I have my Looney Tunes characters on today.

• 52:13Brooke Averick?

  Yes. We love Looney Tunes.

• 52:17Speaker 09

  We love Looney Tunes.

• 52:18Brooke Averick?

  Yes, there's Tweety.

• 52:19Speaker 09

  Yeah, there he is.

• 52:20Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 52:20Speaker 09

  Now, don't you do-

• 52:21Brooke Averick?

  Tweety Bird!

• 52:22Speaker 09

  Don't you do Little Quacka.

• 52:23Brooke Averick?

  There's Tweety!

• 52:25Speaker 09

  Tweety, all of them.

• 52:27Brooke Averick?

  Oh my god!

• 52:28Speaker 09

Honestly, I wanna, I, I knew to whip this out tonight.

• 52:31Brooke Averick?

  Tweety Bird!

• 52:32Speaker 09

  Yeah.

• 52:32Connor Wood?

  Something is happening.

• 52:33Speaker 09

  Yeah.

• 52:34Connor Wood?

I, no, see, I think, I think that, I think she's doing a bit, but I wanna know what her relationship is with Tweety Bird for her to be like, my, my Tweety Bird, my Tweety Bird!

• 52:46Brooke Averick?

I would listen to, eh, like, an obsessed episode of Nicole X Tweety.

• 52:52Connor Wood?

Brooke, I, Brooke, I, I want to get into this mindset and go back and forth with you for, I want an episode of, like, a Nicole Kidman episode.

• 53:00Brooke Averick?

Oh, look, Nicole Kidman on why she loves Tweety Bird.

• 53:03Connor Wood?

  Whoa!

• 53:04Brooke Averick?

Look how good she loves- Fast.

• 53:06Speaker 10

Tweety Bird, Tweety Bird, Tweety Bird.

• 53:08Speaker 09

Why do you love Tweety Bird so much?

• 53:10Speaker 10

I love Tweety Bird, I don't know. It's just cute, right?

• 53:16Speaker 10

And I had no idea. I never know.

• 53:18Speaker 09

  You say that-

• 53:19Brooke Averick?

I never know. I love that.

• 53:22Connor Wood?

  Fucking go.

• 53:24Connor Wood?

  Oh, that's awesome.

• 53:25Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 53:26Connor Wood?

She hasn't been on White Lotus, right?

• 53:28Brooke Averick?

No, you're thinking of every other mini-series that's existed on HBO.

• 53:33Connor Wood?

Oh, like every little liar down the street?

• 53:35Brooke Averick?

Nine Perfect Strangers, Big Little Lies, The Unbelievable.

• 53:39Connor Wood?

Nine Perfect Secret Wives of Mormon ladies?

• 53:42Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 53:42Connor Wood?

Okay, I have a couple of things to run through TV-wise, if we can.

• 53:45Brooke Averick?

  Me, too.

• 53:48Connor Wood?

One, I'm very confused. So they obviously, like, released, they keep doing waves of White Lotus castings.

• 54:00Connor Wood?

You know, like, there is some, like, big ones that come through and you're just like, whoa, this is gonna be great.

• 54:06Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 54:07Connor Wood?

I need Jessica Lange, you know, like, I need, you know, I need someone like that. Lang? What is it?

• 54:15Brooke Averick?

  Lang, yeah.

• 54:16Connor Wood?

  Okay, I always say Lange.

• 54:17Brooke Averick?

  That's fine.

• 54:18Connor Wood?

There's way more American Horror Story to say Lange.

• 54:20Brooke Averick?

Go ahead and keep saying Lange.

• 54:22Connor Wood?

I'm gonna walk through the most recent casting.

• 54:25Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 54:26Connor Wood?

And then I want you to stop. Okay, I'm gonna run through it.

• 54:29Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 54:29Connor Wood?

Okay. Alexander Ludwig, A.J. Michalka. Michalka? Okay, you know what I'm saying.

• 54:36Brooke Averick?

  Of course, of course.

• 54:38Connor Wood?

Helena Bonham Carter, Vincent Castle, Steve Coogan, Sandra Bernard, she's gonna be good. Dylan Ines, Caleb Jontay Edwards, Nadia T., Chris Messina, Chloe Bennett, Max Greenfield, that's gonna be great.

• 54:54Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 54:55Connor Wood?

Ari Grayner, Charlie Hall, that's gonna be great. Kumail Qorinton, Vila? I don't know her. Marissa Long and Jared Paul.

• 55:03Brooke Averick?

I wonder if Chris Messina, Charlie Hall, and Max Greenfield are gonna be like a family of, like, brunette, white hair, white people, white boys. They all, like, because they all could be similar if you tried.

• 55:20Connor Wood?

Where is this one? Where is this one, France?

• 55:23Brooke Averick?

I don't know, I wanted to say France, too. Yeah, it is.

• 55:27Connor Wood?

Okay, I could see some of them, like, studying abroad, like, the younger people. Because, like, there's a group of very similarly aged, good-looking, young folk?

• 55:42Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, like Alexander and Charlie.

• 55:44Connor Wood?

Yeah, and then that other young man that.

• 55:46Brooke Averick?

Oh, the other young man that I said is gonna be a pretty big problem for me and some of my peers. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 55:53Connor Wood?

  And Marissa.

• 55:56Connor Wood?

Um, yeah, so I could see that. My question for you is, is there usually every season, let me see, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18? Cast members on every season, like.

• 56:15Brooke Averick?

This might be the most, but it's not like that far off. Especially when you think like maybe they're not all like, uh, what are they called, like patrons of the hotel, like maybe they're just like some are like working and. Stuff.

• 56:32Connor Wood?

He's definitely gonna be a man from France, like this is gonna be.

• 56:34Brooke Averick?

The third is 20, was 20, and now.

• 56:37Connor Wood?

  What?

• 56:38Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 56:38Connor Wood?

Oh, okay, I'm very wrong, it's hard for me to grasp it, how many people would be? And by the way, there's recurring characters too, I think three of the characters, the massage, the masseuse woman.

• 56:49Brooke Averick?

I wonder if Greg is coming back.

• 56:51Connor Wood?

  What?

• 56:51Brooke Averick?

I wonder if Greg is coming back. Pop up, the pop up look alike.

• 56:56Connor Wood?

Greg is a troublemaker and I want him gone, I'm serious.

• 57:00Brooke Averick?

Well, I would kinda need something like him to be the thread.

• 57:04Connor Wood?

Hmm, yeah. Well, I'm excited for that, I really need something like that, it's, I'm losing my marbles, actually, I started watching Rooster with Steve Carell.

• 57:11Brooke Averick?

  Oh, how's that?

• 57:12Connor Wood?

You need to watch it, Brooke, like I, I'm rarely, like, I really think that Brooke would like this, this is one that I don't need to, like, it's cute.

• 57:20Brooke Averick?

Steve Carell's the love of my life.

• 57:22Connor Wood?

And, but, Brooke, he plays like, he plays some version of.

• 57:29Brooke Averick?

  Michael?

• 57:30Connor Wood?

Michael Scott, like, it is an offshoot, but a little bit more mature, but very, very sweet, you need to watch Rooster.

• 57:37Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 57:37Connor Wood?

  Highly recommend, I think it's HBO, I can't remember.

• 57:40Brooke Averick?

  I'll do that.

• 57:42Connor Wood?

Um, there's only two episodes out, but it's just, it's very good, 30 minute comedy.

• 57:45Brooke Averick?

Oh, perfect, that is perfect, I love him.

• 57:47Connor Wood?

  Fabulous, and it's so funny.

• 57:50Brooke Averick?

  Oh, my God, amazing.

• 57:51Connor Wood?

  You need to watch it.

• 57:52Brooke Averick?

  I love him.

• 57:53Connor Wood?

And the writing is really, really, really good. And it's set on a college campus, which you know I love.

• 57:58Brooke Averick?

I do, I've been watching Age of Attraction.

• 58:02Connor Wood?

  Is that the reality one?

• 58:03Brooke Averick?

Yes, the age gap dating show. It's got me in its clutches. It is so good. Let me just tell you the premise really quickly.

• 58:17Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 58:18Brooke Averick?

Basically, all these people are thrown into like some sort of like, not quite a villa, I don't know, maybe some sort of resort. And people of all ages and they're kind of just like speed dating each other. And the only thing you can't talk about is how old you are. And so then, once you kind of like make a match and you're like, okay, I want to do this with you. Then you go to the promise room. Where you like give each other these promise rings and you're like, okay, I want to like go through this experience with you. And then you reveal your age. And then after you reveal your age, you're then you move into in with each other and see like if it works or not.

• 58:55Brooke Averick?

Some of these ages had my jaw on the floor.

• 59:01Brooke Averick?

Like they pick people intentionally. They pick people intentionally that you're like, okay, this person's like 40 tops and it's like, I am 60.

• 59:12Brooke Averick?

  It's really wild.

• 59:15Brooke Averick?

  You should watch.

• 59:17Connor Wood?

Wait, can you pull up the 2754? Can we zoom on that?

• 59:19Brooke Averick?

Yeah, but if you don't want to be spoiled, then don't watch this part. But there's one girl that's 27 and one guy that's 60.

• 59:29Brooke Averick?

I I love them. They are like the they are the favorite, they're the, what's what's the word I'm looking for?

• 59:38Connor Wood?

  They look.

• 59:39Brooke Averick?

Like the crown jewel, maybe they're the crown jewel of the season. Um, they have, they're the only ones with any sort of potential. But no, this is not the the guy is 60 and the girl is 27. Yes, Jorge is 60.

• 59:55Connor Wood?

  They look great, too.

• 59:56Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 59:57Connor Wood?

  Ah, I like this.

• 59:59Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, you should watch.

• 1:00:01Connor Wood?

They better use age as just a number. In this show at some point.

• 1:00:06Brooke Averick?

Is it a song? Is that a song?

• 1:00:08Connor Wood?

  It's a saying.

• 1:00:09Brooke Averick?

Oh, yeah, obviously. But here's everyone.

• 1:00:15Connor Wood?

This, that brought me genuinely to something that I don't know anything about, but I just want to like, throw it out there. I don't have anything to say about this. I'm wondering if maybe you do. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which seems to be shooting 24/7 every single day. I've never watched an episode.

• 1:00:31Brooke Averick?

  Neither.

• 1:00:32Connor Wood?

Don't necessarily care to, even though I know that everybody in the world watches and I'm very out of the loop. I'm okay with being out of the loop with this one, but the young woman has now been cast as the Bachelorette.

• 1:00:42Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 1:00:42Connor Wood?

And it just came out in press that like, she had a domestic situation happen with her ex. And so it's like, very obvious that she doesn't stay with anyone in The Bachelor that she's, it's not even out. It comes out on Sunday. And it's just like, oh my god, like.

• 1:00:59Brooke Averick?

Oh, I am dumb. I didn't realize that was current. I thought it was like something from the past that was.

• 1:01:06Connor Wood?

No, no, that happened like last week.

• 1:01:08Brooke Averick?

Oh, so the show's completely ruined. And also,

• 1:01:14Brooke Averick?

  that's tough.

• 1:01:16Brooke Averick?

  To all.

• 1:01:16Connor Wood?

I will be watching because it does look interesting and she looks like it's going to be very good TV.

• 1:01:23Brooke Averick?

The Bachelor's just like, so they need an element in there. Like, maybe just make everyone gay or like something a little bit more like, less vanilla.

• 1:01:32Connor Wood?

They should lock everyone in and turn the lights off.

• 1:01:35Brooke Averick?

Just something. They need an added element. Like, you have so many dating shows that like, have that like, okay, these people are like 58 years apart from each other. Okay, you can't see each other. Okay, you guys can't touch. So like, to do one that's just like, regular, it's not working for me right now.

• 1:01:50Connor Wood?

One of you is a killer.

• 1:01:52Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, something like that.

• 1:01:53Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:54Brooke Averick?

Okay, champ. Well, much to discuss.

• 1:01:58Connor Wood?

  Lot of TV to watch.

• 1:02:00Brooke Averick?

Lot of TV to watch, much to discuss you late.

• 1:02:04Connor Wood?

I gotta get these eggs out from my line of sight really quickly.

• 1:02:07Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 1:02:08Connor Wood?

  If not sooner.

• 1:02:09Brooke Averick?

  Sounds good.

• 1:02:11Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 1:02:12Brooke Averick?

  Bye.

• 1:02:12Connor Wood?

Well, thank you, guys, for everything. Seriously, you mean the world to me.

• 1:02:15Brooke Averick?

  Absolutely.

• 1:02:15Connor Wood?

I'm gonna take my huge, huge wellness pills. And Brooke's gonna finish her bottle of water.

• 1:02:21Brooke Averick?

  Cheers to that halfway through.

• 1:02:23Connor Wood?

I'm gonna finish my vase, cuz I'm out of cups again. Thank you, guys, for listening and watching. If you're listening, maybe consider watching. Throw us a bone. Okay, thank you, guys. Bye.
