Hello and welcome to a very special bonus pod episode. Now, you might have seen on our last episode, we had a little look back at some challenger that is now featuring on Belterbox. And I got to thinking, wouldn't it be incredible if we got somebody who played challenger all those years ago to come back and give them another pasting? Well- Well, it just so happens, the little girl who was in the video that we looked at last week, got in touch and said, I wouldn't mind coming back and showing that Geordie gasbag exactly what he's made of. So, we thought, why don't we do that? So let's bring him back then, the self-professed king of common knowledge, it's Mr. Ant McPartlin.

• 2:35Ant McPartlin?

It's come back to you very quickly, this. Believe me.

• 2:41Ant McPartlin?

  Yes.

• 2:43Ant McPartlin?

This is not the same kid.

• 2:44Declan Donnelly?

  No, no.

• 2:46Ant McPartlin?

It's slightly cheaper than the one we had at Saturday mornings.

• 2:49Declan Donnelly?

  Wow.

• 2:49Ant McPartlin?

  Well, I like it.

• 2:50Declan Donnelly?

Because that one of the Saturday mornings was not expensive.

• 2:52Ant McPartlin?

It wasn't expensive. Looks good, right?

• 2:55Declan Donnelly?

It's amazing how quickly you've slipped back into it.

• 2:57Ant McPartlin?

Well, it's just like an old pair of shoes. You put them on, it's just comfy, isn't it?

• 3:01Declan Donnelly?

  They're just there.

• 3:01Ant McPartlin?

The cape's comfy, the introduction is the king of common knowledge, is really apt and correct still, I think.

• 3:08Declan Donnelly?

  Yeah, even more so.

• 3:09Ant McPartlin?

Even more, I don't have the same bloodlust as I had back in the day. You know, I really wanted to beat those kids, didn't I?

• 3:18Declan Donnelly?

  You did.

• 3:19Ant McPartlin?

And it was, because it was our idea, in the challenge, Ant.

• 3:21Declan Donnelly?

  Yeah.

• 3:21Ant McPartlin?

We said, we've got to get them on, and if they lose, they can't win anything. That was our thing. We can't give them an easy ride.

• 3:27Declan Donnelly?

Because the producers at the time went, oh, but maybe we give them the consolation prize, a little thing. No, we were like, no, no, if they gamble and they lose, they go home with nothing.

• 3:37Ant McPartlin?

And it was a, it was a life lesson.

• 3:39Declan Donnelly?

  That's what we said.

• 3:39Ant McPartlin?

That's what we said. That's how we justified our actions back in the day.

• 3:43Declan Donnelly?

Now we're 25 years older, we have children of our own.

• 3:46Ant McPartlin?

And if somebody's about to mind, kid, I'd punch them squarely in the mouth.

• 3:50Ant McPartlin?

No, I wouldn't, no, no. People came on, they had a great time.

• 3:53Declan Donnelly?

  Yeah.

• 3:54Ant McPartlin?

So it was, we were never embarrassed to anybody, but we just had some proper competitive fun.

• 4:00Declan Donnelly?

Yes. More often than not, though, the children did win.

• 4:04Ant McPartlin?

Well, not to start with, but near the end they did. Whenever Harry Potter questions were involved, that's when I would fall short.

• 4:11Declan Donnelly?

That was your Achilles' heel, wasn't it?

• 4:13Ant McPartlin?

That was my Achilles' heel, yeah.

• 4:14Declan Donnelly?

Well, we saw her on the pod last Thursday, she has agreed to come back.

• 4:20Ant McPartlin?

  Has she?

• 4:21Declan Donnelly?

And take you on again. She said, I'm still not afraid of that Geordie gasbag.

• 4:25Ant McPartlin?

  Did she now?

• 4:26Declan Donnelly?

She said, I can take him on. She's got a new set of questions. Please welcome eight-year-old Charlotte Dowdell.

• 4:37Declan Donnelly?

Blimey Charlotte, you're not eight anymore.

• 4:39Speaker 04

No, I'm a little bit older now.

• 4:41Declan Donnelly?

In fact, it is your birthday today, is it not?

• 4:43Speaker 04

  It is my birthday today.

• 4:44Ant McPartlin?

  How old is today?

• 4:45Speaker 04

  I'm thirty-four.

• 4:46Ant McPartlin?

  Oh, happy birthday Charlotte.

• 4:48Speaker 04

  Thank you very much.

• 4:49Ant McPartlin?

  Happy birthday.

• 4:49Speaker 04

  Thank you.

• 4:50Ant McPartlin?

  Nice to see you again.

• 4:51Speaker 04

Really good to see you too.

• 4:52Ant McPartlin?

I'd really like to get my revenge. It's funny, I thought before you sat down in that chair, I thought, I'm not bothered about winning. If you know, I'm older and wiser and got kids in me. Now, you've sat down in the chair, I really wanna win.

• 5:05Speaker 04

Oh yeah, no, I'm more than happy to absolutely wipe the floor with you again.

• 5:10Speaker 04

See to him, Arne. No, I'm just gonna keep my side.

• 5:13Ant McPartlin?

How did it feel when you won all those years ago?

• 5:15Speaker 04

It was amazing. Just the whole experience was incredible, like, and it was quite a chance thing, actually.

• 5:23Declan Donnelly?

  Well, how did it happen?

• 5:23Speaker 04

So I was part of a dance school, used to do a lot of performing growing up. And one of the mums worked at the studios or something like that and said, would the dance school like to come along and be part of the audience? We were like, absolutely, yes, of course we'd do that, it'd be amazing. And then, we think it was either the Wednesday or the Thursday before, she came running in and she was like, Challenge Ant's dropped out this week, we need someone to fill. Would any of the kids, and my mum, as my granddaddy would always say, elbows out.

• 5:56Speaker 04

Yep, Charlotte will. Oh, she will, won't she, all right?

• 5:59Declan Donnelly?

I thought it was quite a quick turnaround.

• 6:00Speaker 04

It was a very quick turnaround. We had to get questions ready, we had to send it all in, we were coming up and that was it. It was, it was pretty quick, but ever the professional, I stepped into the line like only too happily.

• 6:12Ant McPartlin?

Well, looking at the clip back on the last pod, it doesn't show that you stepped in at the last minute.

• 6:17Speaker 04

  Oh, thank you.

• 6:17Declan Donnelly?

You were amazing. We are so thrilled that you're back here twenty-five, twenty-five years later.

• 6:23Speaker 04

  Yeah, twenty-five, yeah.

• 6:24Declan Donnelly?

  To do it again.

• 6:25Ant McPartlin?

What do you do now for a living, if you don't mind me asking?

• 6:27Speaker 04

So I'm a client experience assistant and it all sounds very fancy. I work in the city. I work for a company that do flexible office spaces and stuff, so I'm customer facing, you know, sort of dealing with all sorts of clients and doing all that sort of stuff.

• 6:40Ant McPartlin?

So would you say your win on Challenge Ants has helped you excel in life?

• 6:44Speaker 04

  Well, one hundred percent.

• 6:46Ant McPartlin?

  Do you see?

• 6:47Speaker 04

You know, the life-changing opportunities that I had from that. Actually, to be fair, two weeks after the show went out. We were up at the aquarium for my mum's birthday.

• 6:57Declan Donnelly?

  Uh huh.

• 6:57Speaker 04

And two little girls came over to me and went, were you on Challenger? A couple of weeks ago.

• 7:01Declan Donnelly?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah. Amazing.

• 7:03Speaker 04

This is so cool. It was the best.

• 7:06Declan Donnelly?

Shall we give you a little warm up with some of Charlotte's questions from 2001? Oh, yeah, go on then. See how many of these you would have got right. Right. Who's the new male presenter of The Big Breakfast? Oh, Johnny Vaughan. No.

• 7:18Speaker 04

  No.

• 7:19Declan Donnelly?

Your answer back in 2001 was Richard Bacon. Was it, was that correct? No, you got it wrong then as well. Oh, okay. It was Paul Tonkinson. Oh. Um, something was thrown at Tony Blair this week back in 2001. What was it? Not an egg. Tomato? Oh. Oh. He got it right. He can do it.

• 7:38Speaker 04

  All right.

• 7:38Declan Donnelly?

  He got it right.

• 7:39Speaker 04

  He's got the memory.

• 7:40Declan Donnelly?

Uh, in 2001, who did Chelsea beat in the third round of the FA Cup? Oh, come on. Um, no, no idea. Peterborough. Oh, okay. Which ex-estender announced her pregnancy yesterday? Marty McCutcheon. Ooh, Patsy Palmer. Ah, close. Rick A. Gross. Which member of the royal family was called horrible this week?

• 8:00Speaker 04

I actually remember this as well.

• 8:02Declan Donnelly?

Harry. No, Princess Anne. Oh, really? Hmm. Oh, you'd never say that about Princess Anne now, would you? Here's one that isn't time sensitive. Uh huh. What is Batman's real name? Bruce Wayne. Yes.

• 8:13Speaker 04

  Hey.

• 8:13Declan Donnelly?

You got that right back then as well. More on that level, please, Charlotte, more on that level.

• 8:17Speaker 04

I'm not going to guarantee anything.

• 8:19Declan Donnelly?

So that is some of the questions from 2001, but we have a new set of questions from 2026. Let me tell you what you're playing for today. Today you are playing for the top 10 singles in the singles chart. Is it the top 10 singles from now? From today. Great, okay, that's good, that's good.

• 8:35Speaker 04

  Amazing.

• 8:36Declan Donnelly?

For every question you get right, you'll get a CD.

• 8:38Speaker 04

  Thank you.

• 8:38Declan Donnelly?

Uh, at the end of it all, you can decide whether you want to gamble everything you've won so far on one last killer question. If you do, you walk away with today's star prize, which is this.

• 8:49Declan Donnelly?

  CD player.

• 8:52Speaker 04

  This is amazing.

• 8:53Declan Donnelly?

  Amazing.

• 8:54Speaker 04

I was gonna say, I don't know how I'm gonna play the CDs if I win.

• 8:56Declan Donnelly?

Well. Do you know, Charlotte, CDs are making a comeback as well.

• 8:58Speaker 04

  They are actually.

• 8:59Declan Donnelly?

Because the list on one's done, better sound. I have to remind you, Charlotte, and I think you know this only too well. If you gamble and get your killer question correct, you will walk away today with absolutely nothing. I keep this and I keep that.

• 9:14Speaker 04

And you get to enjoy those CDs.

• 9:17Declan Donnelly?

  Let's play Challenger.

• 9:25Declan Donnelly?

Question one then is for the number 10 single. It's Noah Kahan, Porch Light. But we've had to get to the album because CD singles don't exist. Great, love albums.

• 9:35Speaker 04

Okay. Your favourite question. Who plays Hagrid? In the HBO series of Harry Potter?

• 9:44Ant McPartlin?

They're telling it again! What's happening again? I didn't notice, I was reading about this last week. Oh my god, it's so obvious when I hear it.

• 9:52Declan Donnelly?

  Three seconds to answer.

• 9:53Ant McPartlin?

The big fella, what's he called?

• 9:57Declan Donnelly?

  Time's up.

• 9:57Ant McPartlin?

  Come on.

• 9:58Declan Donnelly?

  Charlotte? Nick Frost.

• 9:59Ant McPartlin?

Nick Frost? Nick Frost, of course it's Nick Frost.

• 10:02Declan Donnelly?

Another Hagrid question trips him up.

• 10:04Ant McPartlin?

  Oh.

• 10:05Declan Donnelly?

Another one, so there we go. Charlotte, that's one to you. Thanks very much, thank you. Question number two is for Sabrina Carpenter, House Tour. I love Sabrina Carpenter as well. Question two.

• 10:17Ant McPartlin?

My daughter really loves Sabrina Carpenter, so I'd like to win that, just saying.

• 10:21Speaker 04

  You're not gonna.

• 10:23Ant McPartlin?

  It's good fighting for it.

• 10:24Speaker 04

Who won Last One Laughing, season two?

• 10:29Ant McPartlin?

For god's sake, man. For god's sake.

• 10:33Speaker 04

  But Sabrina, come on.

• 10:34Ant McPartlin?

  Is it, was it?

• 10:36Declan Donnelly?

  Time up.

• 10:37Ant McPartlin?

  What?

• 10:37Declan Donnelly?

You only get five seconds to answer.

• 10:39Ant McPartlin?

Oh my god, I don't hear the clock! Go on.

• 10:43Declan Donnelly?

  Charlotte?

• 10:44Speaker 04

It was David Mitchell after a tie break with Sam Campbell.

• 10:48Ant McPartlin?

  Right, okay.

• 10:50Speaker 04

  Did you watch it?

• 10:50Ant McPartlin?

I watched season one, which I loved. I haven't watched season two yet.

• 10:55Speaker 04

Fair enough, well. Well now you know. Spoiler alert. Sorry, mama.

• 11:00Ant McPartlin?

You don't need to know this one, to be fair.

• 11:01Declan Donnelly?

That's 2-0, Charlotte. Question number three is for the number eight single from Ray, Where Is My Husband?

• 11:09Ant McPartlin?

She's still hasn't found him, has she?

• 11:11Declan Donnelly?

I don't know where he is.

• 11:12Ant McPartlin?

Where is he? What is he doing?

• 11:13Speaker 04

She's not wrong though, I haven't got one.

• 11:15Declan Donnelly?

  Oh, not yet.

• 11:17Speaker 04

  Not yet, anyway.

• 11:17Declan Donnelly?

  Wait after this.

• 11:19Ant McPartlin?

You get recognised in the aquarium all over again.

• 11:22Speaker 04

That would be amazing. Okay. Which manufacturer produces the most tyres per year?

• 11:29Ant McPartlin?

  Um, Michelin.

• 11:32Declan Donnelly?

That's the wrong answer. The correct answer is Charlotte? Lego. That's wrong. You don't need to try and fox me with questions. I'm bad enough as it is.

• 11:44Speaker 05

But it is the truth. You can look it up.

• 11:46Declan Donnelly?

Yeah, I bet it is the truth. That's 3-0 to Charlotte.

• 11:50Speaker 05

  Come on.

• 11:54Declan Donnelly?

Are you getting a lot of familiar feelings coming back? Yeah, it's horrible. Now I really, really wanna win. Question number four is for the number seven single from Taylor Swift, Elizabeth Taylor. Again, we've had to get you the album. This is killing me. The bud just gone on albums.

• 12:09Speaker 04

Who will be playing the eponymous character in Jesus Christ Superstar at the London Palladium?

• 12:17Declan Donnelly?

  Is it Dec?

• 12:20Speaker 04

I'm not gonna lie, I feel like it should be.

• 12:21Declan Donnelly?

It should be. He'd be good at that.

• 12:23Speaker 04

  That feels right.

• 12:23Declan Donnelly?

He'd be good at that. Have you announced it yet? No, not yet. I wasn't. I got down to the last two. Oh, it's a shame. Who beat you? Who beat me?

• 12:31Speaker 04

  It was Sam Ryder.

• 12:32Declan Donnelly?

Sam Ryder. That is 4-0 to Charlotte.

• 12:39Declan Donnelly?

This is on the verge of becoming embarrassing.

• 12:42Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 12:42Declan Donnelly?

On the verge? It is embarrassing. Question number five is for the number six single from Harry Styles, American Girls. He's just got engaged to one.

• 12:52Speaker 04

How exciting. In which Netflix series do two unlikely schoolboys find love?

• 12:59Declan Donnelly?

Oh, um, um, oh goodness, what is it called? This is so hard.

• 13:06Declan Donnelly?

This is so hard. That's your time. Come on.

• 13:09Speaker 04

  Heartstopper.

• 13:10Declan Donnelly?

Heartstopper, yeah. You knew that one, didn't you? Yeah, I did know it. It was in there. It was in there along with the big fella. It was in there with the big fella. Question number six is for the number five single from Justin Bieber. That's not Justin Bieber, that's Michael Jackson. There was no Justin Bieber in the shop, so instead I've got you the number five album and the album charts. And that's Michael Jackson, number one.

• 13:30Speaker 04

  I'll say Michael Jackson.

• 13:30Declan Donnelly?

Because of the movie. Because of the movie. That's why it's riding high. Yeah, okay.

• 13:33Speaker 04

There it is. Okay. In which month and year did Disneyland Paris open?

• 13:40Declan Donnelly?

Oh, this is, what is, what, uh, nineteen ninety-nine, uh, February. Oh, and is that a guess? Course it was. Yeah, he's in terrible. It is wrong. Go on.

• 13:52Speaker 04

  April, uh, nineteen ninety-two.

• 13:54Declan Donnelly?

Okay, right, that was way out.

• 13:56Speaker 04

  The same age as me.

• 13:57Declan Donnelly?

Way out, is it? For shame. Six nil at the moment to Charlotte. Question number seven is for the number four single from Olivia Dean, Man I Need. Charlotte?

• 14:08Speaker 04

Okay. Who wrote The Magic Far Away Tree?

• 14:13Ant McPartlin?

  Oh, Enid Blyton.

• 14:16Declan Donnelly?

  He's got one right!

• 14:20Ant McPartlin?

Good God, that feels good. I'm not celebrating though. It seems like a hollow point, doesn't it?

• 14:27Declan Donnelly?

Good, it does! Don't be so hard on yourself.

• 14:29Ant McPartlin?

  It's such a tough start!

• 14:30Declan Donnelly?

Question number eight is for the number three single, Sombra, I Barely Know Her.

• 14:35Speaker 04

There was a magician who recently appeared on BGT. Who is he related to?

• 14:40Ant McPartlin?

Oh, he's related to Paul Daniels.

• 14:43Declan Donnelly?

  Oh, he's back in it!

• 14:44Ant McPartlin?

  Yeah, he's back in again!

• 14:46Declan Donnelly?

It's a late fight back, but that makes it 6-2!

• 14:48Ant McPartlin?

  Yes!

• 14:49Declan Donnelly?

Question number nine is for the number two single from Tame Impala, and it's Dracula.

• 14:54Ant McPartlin?

Oh, it's a good song that. It's a good song.

• 14:56Speaker 04

Okay. Who hosted the Olivier Awards this year?

• 15:00Ant McPartlin?

  Who hosted the Olivier Awards?

• 15:04Ant McPartlin?

Oh, I think someone really actor-y. And they're really good at what they do. And they've had a lot of time on stage and on screen as well.

• 15:16Ant McPartlin?

I just need a name to come to me. Am I out of time?

• 15:20Declan Donnelly?

  Who was it, Charlotte?

• 15:20Speaker 04

  It was Nick Mohammed.

• 15:22Declan Donnelly?

That missed a score. 7-2 to Charlotte!

• 15:24Speaker 04

Come on! I'm doing better than I did last time.

• 15:28Ant McPartlin?

  Are you?

• 15:28Speaker 04

  Yeah, I am.

• 15:30Declan Donnelly?

And finally in this round, question number 10 is our old mate Sam Fender with Rain Me In. Charlotte?

• 15:36Speaker 04

Who will be the new House of Games host?

• 15:41Ant McPartlin?

  Oh, is he leaving?

• 15:42Speaker 04

  Oh, yeah.

• 15:43Ant McPartlin?

  I didn't know that.

• 15:44Declan Donnelly?

  The big fella.

• 15:45Ant McPartlin?

  The big fella.

• 15:46Declan Donnelly?

  The big fella's leaving.

• 15:46Ant McPartlin?

The big fella's gone, is he?

• 15:49Declan Donnelly?

Host is friend of the pod?

• 15:50Ant McPartlin?

Friend of the pod is... Oh, I do know this! It is, what the hell is he called? Michael Sheen!

• 15:57Declan Donnelly?

  Yeah, he'll give you that!

• 16:00Declan Donnelly?

  That's a 7-3!

• 16:03Ant McPartlin?

Oh, well done. Friend of the pod. Got a nice little tickle there, thank you.

• 16:07Declan Donnelly?

Well done Charlotte, seven, three. It's very good.

• 16:11Speaker 04

  I'm happy with it.

• 16:11Declan Donnelly?

It's a bit of a pace than that. How did you do first time round?

• 16:14Speaker 04

  We were five apiece.

• 16:15Declan Donnelly?

  Five, five. Look at that.

• 16:18Ant McPartlin?

So I'm only a couple of questions off where I was back in the day. Just a couple of questions. Yeah.

• 16:24Speaker 04

Not doing too bad at them.

• 16:25Ant McPartlin?

No, not doing too bad. Thank you.

• 16:27Declan Donnelly?

Now Charlotte, of course, you can go away with those seven CDs. You can take them home and enjoy them. Or you can gamble on one final question. If Ant gets it wrong, you will walk away with today's star prize, which is the CD player. However, you have to remember, if Ant gets that question right, you go home with absolutely nothing and he will take those seven CDs. It's a very big decision. What do you think she should do, everybody?

• 16:52Speaker 05

  Gamble, gamble, gamble.

• 16:55Declan Donnelly?

It's not up to them Charlotte, it's up to you. What are you gonna do?

• 17:00Speaker 04

  Go straight back.

• 17:01Declan Donnelly?

  What are you gonna do?

• 17:04Speaker 04

  I'm gonna gamble.

• 17:04Declan Donnelly?

She's gonna gamble. She's got a killer question.

You join us at a very tense moment here in the studio. Charlotte has won seven of the 10. She's decided to gamble. She wants the other three, but most of all, she wants today's star prize, which is that CD player to play the CDs on. Otherwise, she won't be able to listen to them. She'll have to use them as coasters.

• 17:32Speaker 04

  Very nice coasters.

• 17:33Ant McPartlin?

  Very nice coasters.

• 17:35Declan Donnelly?

Charlotte, how confident are you in your killer question today?

• 17:38Speaker 04

Well, with the way it's been going.

• 17:40Ant McPartlin?

Yeah, yeah. I'd say I'm very confident.

• 17:43Speaker 04

I feel, I feel confident. I feel good about this one.

• 17:46Ant McPartlin?

But you never know. This could be the one. I just know. Now we say about limitless win all the time. This could be the one. I just know.

• 17:53Declan Donnelly?

That knowledge could just be in there.

• 17:54Ant McPartlin?

Could just be in there rattling around. I tell you what though, five seconds is not a lot of time to think of the answer.

• 17:59Declan Donnelly?

  No.

• 18:00Ant McPartlin?

I mean, whether my brain has slightly slowed down over the course of my life, now I'm 50 year old. Could be that.

• 18:07Declan Donnelly?

  Could have been.

• 18:07Ant McPartlin?

It could be that I'm just not studying pop culture and, you know, things like I used to. Because we were immersed in it back then.

• 18:15Speaker 04

It was literally what you were doing at River House, whereas now it's like you do so many things.

• 18:20Ant McPartlin?

I would like to refute two of the questions in the previous 10 questions.

• 18:25Speaker 04

  Go on.

• 18:25Ant McPartlin?

  The Lego tyres was misleading.

• 18:29Ant McPartlin?

And the Disneyland Paris, yeah, and Monday was open also was not, it's not necessarily something that is of the moment now. Just saying.

• 18:43Speaker 04

  Oh, all right, all right.

• 18:46Declan Donnelly?

  Well, this is, this is.

• 18:48Speaker 04

The fighting talk has come back, has it?

• 18:50Ant McPartlin?

Yeah, it has actually, it has.

• 18:52Declan Donnelly?

Well, this is a very tense moment. As I said, you never know, this knowledge might just be in there.

• 18:59Speaker 04

  It might be.

• 19:00Declan Donnelly?

It might be just hiding behind the big fella and the little fella who hosts the live ears.

• 19:04Ant McPartlin?

Stop, stop saying big fellas and little fellas in my ear.

• 19:06Declan Donnelly?

The score seven, three. This for today's star prize. Let's have today's killer question.

• 19:15Speaker 04

In the Apple TV series Ted Lasso, which word?

• 19:20Declan Donnelly?

Hang on, can you, hang on, hang on, shall I? Can you just pause there a second? What was that noise?

• 19:25Ant McPartlin?

  Mm hmm.

• 19:26Declan Donnelly?

Is that a good noise or a bad noise?

• 19:28Ant McPartlin?

It was a bad noise. I watched two seasons of it.

• 19:31Declan Donnelly?

  Okay, okay, okay, okay.

• 19:32Speaker 04

  That's okay, that's okay.

• 19:33Declan Donnelly?

Okay. Start again, Charlotte, start again.

• 19:35Speaker 04

In the Apple TV series Ted Lasso.

• 19:38Ant McPartlin?

  Mm hmm.

• 19:42Speaker 04

Which word do Ted and Rebecca use when wanting to know the answer to a question truthfully?

• 19:50Declan Donnelly?

  Your time's up.

• 19:52Ant McPartlin?

  Biscuit.

• 19:56Declan Donnelly?

Oh my goodness, guys. Where did you pull that from?

• 20:01Ant McPartlin?

  Is it right?

• 20:02Declan Donnelly?

  No, it's the Rebecca.

• 20:04Ant McPartlin?

God's sake. God's sake. I didn't even pull it in there. God's sake.

• 20:09Declan Donnelly?

  Charlotte is the winner.

• 20:14Speaker 05

  You're fake, you're fake, you're fake, you're fake. You are, you're fake, you're fake. You're fake, you're fake, you're fake, you're fake. You are, you're fake.

• 20:26Ant McPartlin?

Oh god, this is even worse than it was back in the day. Oh, I've got kids watching this, I'm embarrassed.

• 20:34Speaker 04

It's like your worst night now.

• 20:35Ant McPartlin?

How cheap is that Dunstons hat, by the way?

• 20:36Declan Donnelly?

  It's very cheap.

• 20:37Ant McPartlin?

We ever do this again, we have to spend money on a Dunstons hat.

• 20:40Speaker 04

I think it was at least cardboard before either.

• 20:43Ant McPartlin?

I'm itching already. What was the answer?

• 20:45Speaker 04

  Oklahoma.

• 20:46Ant McPartlin?

Oklahoma. Because I remember that she loved his biscuits. He brought her biscuits all the time.

• 20:51Speaker 04

  Biscuits for the boss.

• 20:52Ant McPartlin?

Yeah, biscuits for the boss. Yeah, of course. What a shame. Thank you, Charlotte.

• 20:56Speaker 04

You are most welcome. Thank you.

• 20:58Ant McPartlin?

I did not enjoy a second of that. They're going to be right back.

• 21:01Speaker 04

  They're the worst.

• 21:03Ant McPartlin?

Maybe I need to take on someone who are beat back in the day. So I've just got an advantage over them mentally, psychologically before they even sit in the chair.

• 21:10Declan Donnelly?

  Yes.

• 21:10Ant McPartlin?

So if anybody's out there who I did beat, who would like to get their revenge, but who's willing to be pasted twice, get in touch.

• 21:17Declan Donnelly?

  Get in touch with us.

• 21:18Ant McPartlin?

This girl's too good. She's too good on the day and she's too good today.

• 21:23Declan Donnelly?

Back in the day, we used to ask people who wanted to apply to send a letter to us at SMTV entitled, "I'm not afraid of that Geordie gas bag." So if he's played you before and he's beat you before, can you email us at [email protected]? And in the subject put, "I'm still not afraid of that Geordie gas bag," and you can take him on again. Unfortunately, Anne, I have to take away.

• 21:45Ant McPartlin?

I'm going to pass them over.

• 21:46Declan Donnelly?

  Three CDs.

• 21:47Ant McPartlin?

Well, can I just say happy birthday from us?

• 21:49Speaker 04

Thank you very much, yes. Best birthday present ever.

• 21:52Ant McPartlin?

Honestly, it's lovely seeing you again.

• 21:55Speaker 04

  Honestly, this is.

• 21:55Ant McPartlin?

  It really was.

• 21:56Speaker 04

I've loved every second of this, genuinely. When you guys mentioned about it, it was my sister that put it out on our family chat and went, "Really think you should have a little look at this?" And I was like, "Absolutely, yes, let's do it."

• 22:08Declan Donnelly?

We've wanted to do this for ages to get kids who we played back in the day, back on the show, to do it again. So thank you so much for coming down and doing it. She goes home with all 10 CDs and that CD player. Look at it. Look at it, Anne. Just look at it.

• 22:23Ant McPartlin?

I'm very jealous. Imagine the tinny sound coming out of that when I'm cooking in the kitchen.

• 22:28Speaker 04

The nostalgia I'm going to go through is going to be wild.

• 22:31Ant McPartlin?

Listen, well done. Come on, give us a hug.

• 22:32Speaker 04

  Aww.

• 22:33Ant McPartlin?

  Absolutely brilliant. Well done.

• 22:34Declan Donnelly?

  Let's hear for Charlotte, everybody!

• 22:42Declan Donnelly?

  Come on.

• 22:43Ant McPartlin?

  Shall I take this off?

• 22:44Declan Donnelly?

  He's taking his cut.

• 22:45Ant McPartlin?

  I'm taking the cape off.

• 22:47Declan Donnelly?

  Taking the robe off.

• 22:48Ant McPartlin?

  Goodbye, unlucky cape.

• 22:51Declan Donnelly?

  Where is the original cape?

• 22:53Ant McPartlin?

Uh, I don't have it. It would have disintegrated by now, whatever. I reckon it's 25 years ago. That was tough, wasn't it?

• 22:58Declan Donnelly?

  No, well, yeah.

• 22:59Ant McPartlin?

She was, she was really good.

• 23:00Declan Donnelly?

  She was great.

• 23:01Ant McPartlin?

Really good questions. Uh, I wish I had prepped more for, you know, proper kind of pop culture style questions. Just need to get your head in the game of that.

• 23:13Declan Donnelly?

  Yeah.

• 23:13Ant McPartlin?

Uh, and five seconds to answer that is no time at all. By the time your brain has worked out what she said, the time's up.

• 23:23Ant McPartlin?

Five seconds is too short. If we do it again, we've got to up it.

• 23:27Declan Donnelly?

  Seven?

• 23:27Ant McPartlin?

Given, given, yeah, seven, eight, eight, seven, couple of, extra couple of seconds would be.

• 23:34Declan Donnelly?

  Eight bananas, eight seconds.

• 23:35Ant McPartlin?

Yeah, eight bananas, eight seconds. That's good.

• 23:37Declan Donnelly?

  Countdown and bananas.

• 23:38Ant McPartlin?

  Eight seconds. Yeah.

• 23:39Declan Donnelly?

There must be other kids out there who either beat you or you beat them.

• 23:45Ant McPartlin?

  Yeah.

• 23:45Declan Donnelly?

There's not many that you beat.

• 23:46Ant McPartlin?

  Well, there was a few.

• 23:47Declan Donnelly?

  Was there?

• 23:48Ant McPartlin?

There was definitely a few out there that I beat. I mean, they might have had really sorry lives after it because of me beating them. So, you know.

• 23:57Ant McPartlin?

Just saying. Might not want to get in touch. They might just be embarrassed.

• 24:01Declan Donnelly?

  It's hard, isn't it?

• 24:02Ant McPartlin?

Yeah, it's just, it's just hard. And now everyone's going to see it and realise I'm thick.

• 24:08Ant McPartlin?

Which I'm not thick, you know?

• 24:09Declan Donnelly?

  You're not thick.

• 24:10Ant McPartlin?

I protest that I'm not thick.

• 24:12Declan Donnelly?

Even though we all sang that song and pointed that you.

• 24:14Ant McPartlin?

  Yeah, yeah, exactly.

• 24:15Declan Donnelly?

Let's play some more Challenge Ant then.

• 24:17Ant McPartlin?

  Yeah, we'll do that.

• 24:18Declan Donnelly?

And maybe some Wonky Donkey at some point.

• 24:19Ant McPartlin?

Wonky Donkey we should play. We should definitely get some kids that we shout at, you mainly, uh, back on SMTV Live and see if we can play it again with them.

• 24:28Declan Donnelly?

  I love this.

• 24:29Ant McPartlin?

  Shall we do it?

• 24:30Declan Donnelly?

  It's nostalgia fest.

• 24:31Ant McPartlin?

Yeah, let's do a bit of a nostalgia fest on the Bona Sebs.

• 24:34Declan Donnelly?

If you want to see more Challenge Ant or some more Wonky Donkey, they are of course on the Belt of Box YouTube channel.

• 24:39Ant McPartlin?

There's loads of stuff on there. There's loads of stuff. We've got loads of Saturday Night Takeaway stuff on there, loads of SMTV Live stuff on there. If you haven't subscribed, what are you waiting for? Subscribe, you idiot! That's the taste of what you'll get.

• 24:50Declan Donnelly?

That's the kind of Wonky Donkey vibe. That's the vibe. That's it for today then, I think.

• 24:54Ant McPartlin?

  Thank the Lord. Good.

• 24:56Declan Donnelly?

We will be back on Thursday.

• 24:58Ant McPartlin?

It was not enjoyable for a second.

• 24:59Declan Donnelly?

  With another main pod.

• 25:01Ant McPartlin?

  Uh-huh. Those I like.

• 25:03Declan Donnelly?

Uh, until we see you then though.

• 25:06Ant McPartlin?

  Respect guys.

• 25:07Declan Donnelly?

  See you next time.

• 25:07Ant McPartlin?

  Bye bye.

• 25:12Speaker 05

Oh, I didn't mean to turn this sign on. I was gonna turn... Go on, burn it!

• 25:24Speaker 06

  Ugh, I hate Mondays.

• 25:55Speaker 05

  King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Swirl Bite?

• 25:57Speaker 07

Uh, Taylor Hansen? Sure, I'll try one.

• 26:00Speaker 05

  Mmm.

• 26:03Speaker 05

Hey, let's get back to work, please.

• 26:04Speaker 07

But Taylor Hansen's making my day way better with these new soft and swirly King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Bites.

• 26:09Speaker 05

Taylor Hansen? Nice. Try one. Mmm.

• 26:16Speaker 04

King's Hawaiian Cinnamon Bites. There's nothing like it.

• 26:24Speaker 08

Now, more than ever, we need someone on our side. But Rob Whitman? Whitman's votes drove up costs, cut Medicaid, and risked 350,000 Virginians' health care to pay for tax breaks for himself and his donors. He's not on our side. Shannon Taylor will fight corruption, cut taxes, and bring down costs. This November, vote for Shannon Taylor. She's for us. Paid for by HMP, theHouseMajorityPac.com. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
