  I'm Benito Skinner.

• 0:31Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm Mary Beth Brown.

• 0:33Benito Skinner?

  And this?

• 0:33Mary Beth Barone?

  Is?

• 0:34Benito Skinner?

  Ride.

• 0:38Benito Skinner?

  If we're together or not.

• 0:40Mary Beth Barone?

  Or not.

• 0:41Benito Skinner?

I'm here to say that we're not.

• 0:43Mary Beth Barone?

  Are we rolling, Jimmy?

• 0:44Benito Skinner?

Are we rolling? Welcome to Couples Therapy. I'm Benito Skinner.

• 0:48Mary Beth Barone?

  This is Orna.

• 0:49Benito Skinner?

  This is Orna.

• 0:50Mary Beth Barone?

Orna's the couples therapist on Couples Therapy.

• 0:52Benito Skinner?

I'm Orna. I wonder which camera's focused on me, Jimmy?

• 0:54Mary Beth Barone?

They're all focused on you. It's weird, because there's three of us here, but all the cameras are pointing at Benny.

• 0:59Benito Skinner?

  As they should be.

• 1:00Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 1:01Benito Skinner?

Jimmy knows me. Well, Jimmy loves to see me from every side.

• 1:04Mary Beth Barone?

  He sees you.

• 1:05Benito Skinner?

What did Jimmy say just now that broke my heart two million pieces?

• 1:08Mary Beth Barone?

  I don't know.

• 1:09Benito Skinner?

I said a British man, [BLEEP].

• 1:10Mary Beth Barone?

  And he said another one?

• 1:12Benito Skinner?

  Jimmy.

• 1:13Mary Beth Barone?

Broke my heart two million pieces. That sort of insinuated it was something negative. It was actually something really nice.

• 1:18Benito Skinner?

Having a broken heart can be gorgeous. Do you understand? Speaking of which, we have a very special guest today. I'm shaking. I cannot believe it.

• 1:28Mary Beth Barone?

  You should be.

• 1:30Benito Skinner?

What if you didn't say a word this whole time? Completely silent.

• 1:33Mary Beth Barone?

  Like the Holmes episode?

• 1:35Benito Skinner?

No, literally, I carried that on my back, girl.

• 1:37Mary Beth Barone?

Okay, no, and I do wanna clear the air on this. I could not get a word in edgewise. Everything I said on that episode, I had to say twice, because these two motor mouths were yapping, and I was just like, I'm gonna let them handle it.

• 1:47Benito Skinner?

Can I have some time off? It was double Dutch. It was double Dutch. I'm just gonna sit. I'm gonna sit here and just let you guys go. You have fun. I'm happy to be here. You know how much I love you.

• 1:58Speaker 02

  I love you too.

• 1:59Benito Skinner?

  Eddie Obama.

• 2:00Mary Beth Barone?

Why do you guys date then? Well?

• 2:01Speaker 02

Well, we didn't have a chance because someone was taking up all my time.

• 2:04Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, you had plenty of time.

• 2:05Benito Skinner?

We've kind of done everything, though. Like, we've showered together, we've slept in the same bed. We've, like, gone on tour together.

• 2:11Mary Beth Barone?

  Farted in each other's direction.

• 2:12Benito Skinner?

  I have farted on Edward.

• 2:13Speaker 02

  Multiple times.

• 2:14Benito Skinner?

  Let's be real.

• 2:15Speaker 02

  From a few angles.

• 2:16Mary Beth Barone?

We did tour with you, Ride Live, you were there.

• 2:18Speaker 02

  I was there.

• 2:18Benito Skinner?

Ride Live was a time, can I just say?

• 2:21Speaker 02

It was fabulous. I was there for Eye Candy.

• 2:23Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 2:23Speaker 02

I am now. We bonded a lot.

• 2:26Mary Beth Barone?

You took some good pictures of us.

• 2:27Speaker 02

And what was great is you got to use a lot of eras that maybe Mary Beth was completely sick of. And I'm one of your best, best audience. I love everything. I love everything you do.

• 2:37Benito Skinner?

It's so, Edward is my favorite. I just got really warm because it's like Eddie's here and he just makes me.

• 2:42Speaker 02

Being locked in a hotel room with you while you're just trying out new eras.

• 2:47Benito Skinner?

And clothes, like, I love dressing Edward. I love shopping with Jedward, is what I call him. I think Jedward's the name of someone on TikTok. Eddie Obama, do I have shit on my face?

• 2:56Speaker 02

No, no, no, no, this is for me.

• 2:57Mary Beth Barone?

Do your Skyfall bits so we can?

• 2:59Speaker 02

Do the Skyfall bits so I can get the jacket on.

• 3:00Benito Skinner?

You had this jacket and then you were carrying, like, a tote bag. It's to my left. I can't wait to rummage through it. And I said, whoa, Daniel Craig arriving at, now the joke is Saltburn, because he was at that final party.

• 3:10Speaker 02

  Daniel Craig arriving at Saltburn.

• 3:13Mary Beth Barone?

  Daniel Craig's team.

• 3:14Benito Skinner?

Tell me he didn't pull up to Saltburn and say, who the fuck is that new guy?

• 3:20Speaker 02

He was there. He just didn't make the car.

• 3:23Mary Beth Barone?

No, he said, I do the clay. There's been a murder.

• 3:27Benito Skinner?

There's been a murder. Do you understand that we've got a new one coming and I cannot wait? Benoit is back.

• 3:33Mary Beth Barone?

Well, you know, they say, what, his name is Benoit Blanc?

• 3:36Benito Skinner?

Sweetie, that's my full name. Yeah, Benoit.

• 3:39Speaker 02

You know what his name is?

• 3:40Mary Beth Barone?

Benito Blanc, but it's, Benoit is an anagram for Benito. That's what they figured out on the Reddit.

• 3:46Benito Skinner?

It's like Tom Riddle, Turf Hogwarts.

• 3:48Mary Beth Barone?

  It's Tom Riddle.

• 3:49Benito Skinner?

I am, oh my god, all that. It's so crazy. I know all the, like, Hogwarts. Someone the other night was like, what's that, what's the newspaper in Harry Potter called? And I said, The Quibbler. And I'm like, oh, Virgin.

• 4:00Mary Beth Barone?

Never had sex the day in his life.

• 4:01Benito Skinner?

Never had sex the day in his life.

• 4:02Mary Beth Barone?

I would love to see Benoit Blanc arriving at Saltburn and it's just an hour, it's a two-hander, ninety minutes of Barry Keoghan's character and Benoit just trying to solve who did it. But like Benoit knows the whole time that Barry Keoghan killed all those fucking people.

• 4:16Benito Skinner?

Well, of course, it's very Frosty Nixon. Do you know what I mean?

• 4:20Mary Beth Barone?

  I have not seen that.

• 4:21Benito Skinner?

Oh, but it's that, a marriage story and it's very much Benoit Blanc and Barry Keoghan.

• 4:27Mary Beth Barone?

It's his toughest case yet. There's only one suspect and he did it.

• 4:30Benito Skinner?

This Ben is here a couple of murders. But, okay, so you're so, you're so Bond showing up because that jacket is so sexy on you.

• 4:38Speaker 02

And it's done up to the top and I've insisted on doing it up to the top.

• 4:41Benito Skinner?

Of course, I want you to shoot a musket at us.

• 4:42Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm drinking electrolytes.

• 4:43Speaker 02

  I could do that.

• 4:44Mary Beth Barone?

Because the city ravages me from inside out.

• 4:46Benito Skinner?

Sweetie, you know this city gave me Covid.

• 4:50Mary Beth Barone?

Benny's Covid narrative, I'm actually not responding to it anymore because it's a bunch of crap. It's a bunch of heat.

• 4:55Benito Skinner?

I know exactly how I feel when I have Covid.

• 4:57Speaker 02

Well, yesterday, yesterday you told me you had Covid for one calendar day.

• 5:00Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah, so, yeah.

• 5:02Speaker 02

And you were like, it was one calendar day.

• 5:05Benito Skinner?

See, Brits love calling bullshit, huh?

• 5:08Mary Beth Barone?

Well, when we got to the, this was a great line that we, we had a meeting with GQ, Adam at GQ and Eamon, who we absolutely ride for.

• 5:14Benito Skinner?

British GQ like ride to Valhalla.

• 5:17Mary Beth Barone?

And they were like, you know, your opening speech, they said it's both meaner than we thought and funnier than we ever thought it could be. And they said, we love how much,

• 5:26Mary Beth Barone?

  I shouldn't say it actually.

• 5:27Speaker 02

It's kind of back, do you find that backhanded?

• 5:29Mary Beth Barone?

  No.

• 5:30Speaker 02

And maybe not funnier than we, than we would have.

• 5:32Mary Beth Barone?

No, because it was just like beyond anyone's wildest dreams.

• 5:34Speaker 02

  Okay, perfect, okay.

• 5:35Benito Skinner?

  An award show.

• 5:35Speaker 02

You guys, Americans always see the positives and I think that's.

• 5:38Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah, of course.

• 5:38Benito Skinner?

Yeah, no, I, I wasn't offended at all. Sometimes the, the only thing that offends me sometimes like is when someone's like, I watched your show and it like, it was good.

• 5:46Mary Beth Barone?

But that's, that's, we should be used to that by now.

• 5:48Speaker 02

  It was actually good.

• 5:49Benito Skinner?

Of course I'm used to it by now. I take it and say, I go, thank you.

• 5:52Speaker 02

Well, I did watch your show and it was good.

• 5:54Mary Beth Barone?

  Thanks.

• 5:55Benito Skinner?

What'd you think during it? Were you like, that's so crazy that like I've seen Hole on both of them?

• 6:00Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, that was all I was thinking.

• 6:02Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, all eight episodes, you're just thinking about Hole?

• 6:04Speaker 02

I watched some of it get filmed. We were like, we were minutes away from breaking up and I did a set visit and just like.

• 6:11Mary Beth Barone?

  Our last, our last hurrah.

• 6:12Speaker 02

  Our last hurrah.

• 6:13Benito Skinner?

Oh, I remember when I almost ladybirded out of the car on the way back from Muskoka.

• 6:16Speaker 02

  Oh, yeah.

• 6:17Benito Skinner?

I remember it like it was yesterday.

• 6:19Speaker 02

We had to formally announce you, we formally announced that like, I think, I think it's up. I think it's done.

• 6:25Benito Skinner?

You said that to me on the way back from a cabin trip while we were listening to Sabrina Carpenter.

• 6:29Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 6:29Benito Skinner?

So every time I hear that album, I think divorce, babes.

• 6:32Speaker 02

Well, the album had just dropped, of course. It was a huge, it was a huge time for that album.

• 6:36Benito Skinner?

It was short and sweet era.

• 6:37Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, that was tough. That was a tough weekend trip.

• 6:40Benito Skinner?

I had so many good photos of me and Edward too, that I couldn't really post because I knew what was coming.

• 6:44Speaker 02

Really good ones of us on that pier.

• 6:46Benito Skinner?

You got one of me that kind of has like, it's like Bush is almost there, but in like a very like.

• 6:50Speaker 02

Your body's in great. I've got tons of pictures of your body on my phone.

• 6:53Benito Skinner?

  Thank you, sweetie. And same.

• 6:55Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 6:55Benito Skinner?

Same. I have nudes of you, I think.

• 6:58Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah, I'm sure you do.

• 6:59Benito Skinner?

Of my Lady Jane's Edward, Edward Bluemel. Is it Bluemel or Bluemel?

• 7:03Speaker 02

You can say however you want.

• 7:04Benito Skinner?

  I say Bluemel, but.

• 7:05Speaker 02

Yeah, and I'm happy with that. I say Blue Mel.

• 7:08Benito Skinner?

  Blue Mel.

• 7:09Speaker 02

Well, yeah, but it doesn't matter, does it?

• 7:10Benito Skinner?

Are you actors? Always gotta add some flourish, huh?

• 7:15Benito Skinner?

So I had this bit last night when they were talking in the room, eating dinner and I just, it was like the most fun I've ever had in my life because I, I kept ordering so much room service.

• 7:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Benny, keep in mind.

• 7:26Speaker 02

I've got a photo of you with, with, with like truly like six drinks in front of me.

• 7:30Benito Skinner?

  I was lonely.

• 7:31Mary Beth Barone?

Benny, okay, Benny's been mad at me since I got upgraded to a suite at our hotel and the way he's enacting that his revenge is by putting thousands of dollars of room service on my room. So he ordered 12 drinks yesterday for breakfast.

• 7:44Speaker 02

One of which, by the way, was a carrot juice. I'm sorry. I didn't know carrot juice was a thing.

• 7:48Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, well, it is for gay guys.

• 7:50Speaker 02

You can't like milk a carrot.

• 7:51Mary Beth Barone?

No, it is for gay guys.

• 7:52Benito Skinner?

You can milk a carrot, baby, let me tell you.

• 7:57Benito Skinner?

You can't milk a carrot? What have I been doing all week? Here's the thing, you can milk a fucking carrot. And the best part about carrot juice, sorry, the Lem sip is hitting, so I'm feeling incredible, is it makes you tanner.

• 8:11Speaker 02

  Carrot juice?

• 8:12Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 8:13Speaker 02

And that's what's been doing this?

• 8:14Benito Skinner?

My dad on his Atkins shit was juicing carrots like every day, he was so into juicing. He was having so many carrots, it would be like the middle of December and I'm like, you're kind of giving like beach.

• 8:24Mary Beth Barone?

You're giving Jude Law on the holiday.

• 8:25Benito Skinner?

  Jude Law on the holiday.

• 8:26Mary Beth Barone?

  In the interior scenes.

• 8:27Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 8:27Speaker 02

Oh yeah, when he kisses her on the eyelids.

• 8:30Mary Beth Barone?

Don't talk about stuff like that.

• 8:31Benito Skinner?

Would you have laughed at Mr. Napkinhead as a kid? Cause I would.

• 8:35Speaker 02

  I don't know.

• 8:36Mary Beth Barone?

We were debating if that bit would go down really that well.

• 8:39Benito Skinner?

I would have looked him up and gone, mm-mm.

• 8:42Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 8:43Mary Beth Barone?

I go, is that all you got?

• 8:44Benito Skinner?

Cameron Diaz goes, that's not funny.

• 8:46Mary Beth Barone?

  So I didn't like that.

• 8:48Benito Skinner?

And I'm not gonna be a mother to y'all.

• 8:49Mary Beth Barone?

  Y'all heard of the egg?

• 8:51Speaker 02

Yeah, I think I was more of a punchline kid. I wanted a punchline.

• 8:54Mary Beth Barone?

Of course, yeah. Yeah, that makes sense.

• 8:56Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 8:57Mary Beth Barone?

Less, yeah, I totally agree. Less physical bits.

• 8:59Speaker 02

  Mr. Napkinhead not for me.

• 9:01Benito Skinner?

  Love this sweater too.

• 9:02Speaker 02

  Oh, thank you.

• 9:03Mary Beth Barone?

  It's women's, right?

• 9:05Benito Skinner?

I feel like I was really there when you came into your style.

• 9:07Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 9:08Mary Beth Barone?

Shopping is actually what broke us up. I just want to say that on the record.

• 9:12Speaker 02

  Okay, hold on.

• 9:12Mary Beth Barone?

I guess let's talk about the leather jacket thing.

• 9:14Benito Skinner?

  When I showed him Grailed.

• 9:16Mary Beth Barone?

  Don't talk about it.

• 9:16Speaker 02

When you showed me Grailed, you opened the door that.

• 9:19Mary Beth Barone?

  Edward, Edward.

• 9:20Speaker 02

Honey, I've never been able to close it.

• 9:21Benito Skinner?

  Welcome to Narnia.

• 9:22Mary Beth Barone?

Cause you blame me, you blame me for being into clothes and then.

• 9:26Speaker 02

You introduced me to Amy Leon Door.

• 9:28Mary Beth Barone?

  I don't think I did.

• 9:29Speaker 02

Which is a hate crime to introduce a boy to that shop.

• 9:31Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 9:32Benito Skinner?

Oh, you give a straight guy that store. Oh, you guys love that they parked a Porsche in there.

• 9:36Mary Beth Barone?

  How'd they get it in?

• 9:36Speaker 02

But how did they get the Porsche in?

• 9:38Benito Skinner?

How did they get the Porsche in?

• 9:40Mary Beth Barone?

I gotta see the Porsche at the Amy Leon Door store.

• 9:43Benito Skinner?

The gym I go to in New York is right by it. And the smoothie place I go to after the gym. So again, these are these stories and it's a reason I have a podcast.

• 9:51Mary Beth Barone?

  Can't get enough of.

• 9:52Benito Skinner?

  It's why I'm a writer.

• 9:53Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 9:54Benito Skinner?

The line is like at nine AM is insane of people just taking photos and they're like taking photos through the window of the Porsche.

• 10:00Speaker 02

Was this when the Porsche was in there?

• 10:02Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 10:03Mary Beth Barone?

Well, now they have a boat.

• 10:04Speaker 02

  It's a crazy.

• 10:04Mary Beth Barone?

But your shopping definitely came between us. It was sort of the third person in our relationship.

• 10:08Speaker 02

I don't think it was really me, but it wasn't me specific. That makes it sound like I was like a shopper, a buyer.

• 10:13Mary Beth Barone?

No, it wasn't actually buying. It was shopping, window shopping.

• 10:17Benito Skinner?

See, that's the thing you guys.

• 10:18Speaker 02

Because you guys are results based. You always have been. It's like you want something, you buy it.

• 10:21Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah. How much? But how long were you looking for a leather jacket?

• 10:24Speaker 02

The leather jacket was like, it's great to be able to be able to like formally apologize publicly for that. But the leather jacket was really traumatizing.

• 10:30Benito Skinner?

And have we worn it that much?

• 10:32Speaker 02

  It looks dog shit.

• 10:35Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 10:35Speaker 02

It looks bad. I wore it to an event. I got photographed and I looked, I looked like, like a pervert.

• 10:41Mary Beth Barone?

  All that time?

• 10:42Speaker 02

Like all that time. And I showed up and I, I saw the pictures and I went, it's over babe.

• 10:47Mary Beth Barone?

The man hours of finding that jacket and then you finally ordered it and you didn't like it.

• 10:51Speaker 02

And it was too small, but I was too proud to send it back because I.

• 10:54Benito Skinner?

  Always too small.

• 10:55Speaker 02

  I dragged Mary Beth.

• 10:56Mary Beth Barone?

Cause I went to war for that fucking jacket.

• 10:59Benito Skinner?

God, you know what's so sad? The one that I found that I really liked, I had to send it back because it was, well, I wore it when I went to, so Edward, I've done a lot since I've last seen you. I was at Harvard Business School, speaking to the students there. And Polo sent me this jacket and I had to give it back. It was, it was on loan and it was the one leather jacket that I was kind of like, I think I'm kind of eaten down in this.

• 11:19Mary Beth Barone?

You can always buy it, right?

• 11:21Benito Skinner?

Yeah, it's true. Hey, thank you.

• 11:22Speaker 02

And, and you know what's great is that if Benny liked it, he would just buy it.

• 11:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Exactly.

• 11:25Benito Skinner?

I would, and it wouldn't take so long.

• 11:27Speaker 02

Talk about it for a thousand years.

• 11:28Benito Skinner?

Did I go, I went shopping with you, Court and Adam and Rich? Or is that wrong?

• 11:33Speaker 02

So, yeah, there was like one nice shop in Toronto that had a few, it had, you know, some pretty nice stuff.

• 11:38Benito Skinner?

It was great. It is amazing though, when I'm in there and I tell someone to buy something, they will. I'm kind of like.

• 11:44Speaker 02

If you told me to buy it, yeah.

• 11:46Benito Skinner?

  Weapons in that way.

• 11:47Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 11:48Benito Skinner?

I'm kind of like, I break the twig.

• 11:49Mary Beth Barone?

  He doesn't watch horror.

• 11:49Benito Skinner?

I break the twig and, and the guys buy the shirt.

• 11:52Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 11:52Speaker 02

Yeah, I will. I've read the blog.

• 11:54Benito Skinner?

I appreciate the thoughtfulness, but it's shocking to me. I'm like, there's just so much more to do today. Like I haven't had a boba tea.

• 11:59Mary Beth Barone?

No, I know. Also, it's like we could be gunned down at any moment. So buy the dress.

• 12:04Benito Skinner?

  Maybe not in Toronto, but.

• 12:05Mary Beth Barone?

  Not in Toronto, but.

• 12:06Benito Skinner?

Yeah, but buy, buy the dress.

• 12:07Mary Beth Barone?

  Please.

• 12:08Benito Skinner?

Also, I'm just like, come on. Dude.

• 12:11Speaker 02

  Just, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

• 12:13Benito Skinner?

No, you're actually not that bad.

• 12:14Speaker 02

I've bought some things, but it did, it came between us.

• 12:17Benito Skinner?

  That's what today's about.

• 12:18Speaker 02

  That's what it's all about.

• 12:18Benito Skinner?

The door's locked, by the way.

• 12:19Speaker 02

And today, we're gonna sort it out.

• 12:20Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, we're gonna, we're gonna talk, we're gonna leave it all.

• 12:23Speaker 02

We're not gonna leave this room until we're back together.

• 12:25Benito Skinner?

Exactly. Don't tease me like that.

• 12:27Speaker 02

  Don't, sorry, it's a joke, just a funny.

• 12:29Benito Skinner?

I'm a kid who's been traumatized after going to Muskoka. It's Muskoka, right?

• 12:32Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 12:33Benito Skinner?

That's crazy that today it's landing, because I've forgotten the name of it.

• 12:36Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 12:36Benito Skinner?

Every other day in my life.

• 12:37Speaker 02

I, I thought, I thought, when we were in that cabin, I just thought Mary Beth was just like a bit sad about like, just like, life in general, and it took so long for the penny to drop that she was just.

• 12:46Mary Beth Barone?

  That is not true.

• 12:47Speaker 02

Desperate to break up with me.

• 12:48Mary Beth Barone?

No, that's not true. We had been having very difficult conversations.

• 12:52Benito Skinner?

  Meanwhile, I'm on a.

• 12:53Speaker 02

I was like, do you not like the cabin?

• 12:54Mary Beth Barone?

  No, I didn't, I didn't.

• 12:56Benito Skinner?

I'm on the trampoline with Wally, eating like smores ice cream. Like, I am completely a kid who has no idea this is happening.

• 13:01Speaker 02

Marriage story inside. We were, we were like, we were sorting it, we were going through it.

• 13:05Mary Beth Barone?

That was not a cabin, it was a mansion. I'm so sick of the revisionist history. Because Wally said we went camping.

• 13:11Benito Skinner?

Do you know that two things can be true?

• 13:12Mary Beth Barone?

  Wally said we went camping.

• 13:13Speaker 02

It was the biggest house I've ever been in.

• 13:14Mary Beth Barone?

And then now you're calling it a cabin. It was a mansion. It had 12 bedrooms.

• 13:18Benito Skinner?

  A cabin can't be a mansion?

• 13:19Mary Beth Barone?

  I don't think a cabin can be a mansion. Barone's fact-checking me on that.

• 13:22Benito Skinner?

What about, it, it was like a Lincoln log mansion.

• 13:25Mary Beth Barone?

A Lincoln log mansion, thank you.

• 13:26Benito Skinner?

And to come at me like this.

• 13:28Mary Beth Barone?

No, I was coming at him.

• 13:29Speaker 02

  People love, and that's okay.

• 13:31Mary Beth Barone?

You weren't coming at him, you were coming at me. No, I wasn't. Sometimes that's happened in the past year. No.

• 13:36Speaker 02

It looked like when people make like, my Instagram algorithm always hits me with like, chill houses that are made from AI.

• 13:42Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 13:42Speaker 02

And it looked like one of them.

• 13:43Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 13:44Speaker 02

Like a huge cabin that was like, imagine living here, and it's like clearly AI, but that was the real one.

• 13:49Benito Skinner?

  Sweetie, it was impressive.

• 13:50Mary Beth Barone?

  I loved the outside.

• 13:51Speaker 02

A huge house made of wood.

• 13:53Mary Beth Barone?

But also, it wasn't fenced in, so like, I was on Pinky Watch the whole weekend, which was very stressful. And then, of course, yeah, we, but we ended up extending your trip. It wasn't like all doom and gloom. But we knew that when you left, we were gonna be broken up.

• 14:04Speaker 02

That's why we extended the trip. We said, what's three more days, baby?

• 14:07Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah, and the grand scheme.

• 14:08Speaker 02

  What's three more days?

• 14:09Mary Beth Barone?

What's three more days in the grand scheme?

• 14:10Benito Skinner?

Imagine how that felt for me. I still have to lead a production. I lose a daddy, I lose a brother. But actually didn't, because today is also, I'm secretly writing for the importance of being earnest. And what I want to say, not the play.

• 14:24Speaker 02

  No, no, not the.

• 14:25Mary Beth Barone?

  It's a book, isn't it?

• 14:26Benito Skinner?

  It's, it's everything.

• 14:27Mary Beth Barone?

  It's everything.

• 14:28Benito Skinner?

Eddie, I never stopped loving you.

• 14:30Speaker 02

  Never stopped loving you.

• 14:31Benito Skinner?

  That's my boy.

• 14:32Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, fine. Fine, it's a play.

• 14:34Benito Skinner?

It's been really sweet. I always knew when it was appropriate. Yeah, sometimes we would just, I would just be like, as a treat, I think I can message him about this one. Yeah, and during the show, and, oh. That's very sweet. He calls me on my birthday.

• 14:45Mary Beth Barone?

  Really?

• 14:46Benito Skinner?

  Yeah. For two hours.

• 14:47Mary Beth Barone?

  No, this year?

• 14:48Benito Skinner?

I got texts, yeah. We just chat, and we just, and we just chatted out. Right after you broke up, I remember, yeah, on my birthday, I got a text.

• 14:54Mary Beth Barone?

My stomach's making noise. If the mic's picking that up, I'm sorry.

• 14:57Benito Skinner?

Put the mic to the stomach.

• 14:58Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm drinking electrolytes.

• 14:59Benito Skinner?

  A little ultrasound. Yeah.

• 15:01Mary Beth Barone?

We have something big to announce. I felt it, Ken. I felt it, Ken. Oh, God.

• 15:06Benito Skinner?

  A little blooming.

• 15:08Mary Beth Barone?

If I have kids, I have to do it alone, because I'll be such a nasty bitch to my partner. I'll just like, no, we don't do it like that. You're not doing it right. Just, just let me do it. Like, can't you just picture me saying that?

• 15:20Benito Skinner?

So you're missing this, or what, man?

• 15:22Mary Beth Barone?

  I certainly can.

• 15:24Mary Beth Barone?

Whatever. I taught you a lot.

• 15:26Benito Skinner?

I do love how much girls boss around their boyfriends. It's not that I don't think the boyfriends deserve it, but I love watching it.

• 15:31Mary Beth Barone?

But we're paying a hefty cost for that.

• 15:32Benito Skinner?

It's unbelievable, because in a gay relationship, it'd be like, I'm not doing that.

• 15:35Mary Beth Barone?

Right. I just think that I like being bossy. I think straight men don't like it. So then it's like, you're fighting about being bossy, but like, I'm still gonna tell you what to do and how to do it.

• 15:43Benito Skinner?

Yeah. I've watched women be like, go get me a bacon, egg, and cheese right now. And the guy's like, hell, yeah. If he's good.

• 15:50Mary Beth Barone?

This was a huge problem in our relationship.

• 15:53Benito Skinner?

  It was, actually.

• 15:53Mary Beth Barone?

Which we talked about a lot.

• 15:54Benito Skinner?

  We did talk about it.

• 15:55Mary Beth Barone?

  His friends picked up on-

• 15:56Benito Skinner?

What else could I bring up to start a fight, Jimmy?

• 15:58Mary Beth Barone?

His friends picked up on the fact that I would be like, can you get me a water? And they're like, she's too controlling. One of them was a girl, too, who said that. Because one time-

• 16:08Benito Skinner?

I'd watch out for that girl. She wants into those knickers.

• 16:18Mary Beth Barone?

  Watch the mic.

• 16:21Mary Beth Barone?

Well, Pinky's getting a little feisty because she knew that it was time for the third love ad, and she just wanted to chime-

• 16:26Benito Skinner?

What does your bra not fit, Pinky?

• 16:28Mary Beth Barone?

She wanted to chime in. Well, you know, she's brawny, chesty.

• 16:31Benito Skinner?

• 21:12Benito Skinner?

  I love you, Mary Beth.

• 21:14Mary Beth Barone?

I love you too. So, one time on New Year's Day, we were all extremely hungover.

• 21:19Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 21:20Mary Beth Barone?

Yes, we had had a crazy night the night before. We had a party there at the house. And I was anxious. We were all anxious. We were on a come down. And Edward was literally, would not put his phone down, to the point where I was like, I would sometimes grab it and put it face down.

• 21:32Speaker 02

You were anxious and I was on a come down.

• 21:34Mary Beth Barone?

You should have been looking at me.

• 21:35Speaker 02

  Yeah, we are, yeah.

• 21:36Mary Beth Barone?

Stop scrolling and look at your girlfriend. And then a girl the next day was like, I think she's like, I think she's like too controlling.

• 21:43Speaker 02

I need to find out who this woman is. She sounds like an actress.

• 21:46Benito Skinner?

  We can, we can.

• 21:47Mary Beth Barone?

Not an actress. I'll tell you later.

• 21:48Speaker 02

Tell me after. Well, I'll find out about it.

• 21:50Mary Beth Barone?

But what people don't know is that me and Edward, we tell each other everything, still to this day.

• 21:55Speaker 02

  Still to this day.

• 21:55Mary Beth Barone?

  So I heard that feedback.

• 21:57Benito Skinner?

Me the other night to Edward at GQ Man of the Year, I go, polo one. I still, polo one is his set.

• 22:03Mary Beth Barone?

Do you think I was controlling in our relationship?

• 22:05Speaker 02

  No.

• 22:06Mary Beth Barone?

  Looking back now.

• 22:07Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 22:08Benito Skinner?

I've been tricked into something so crazy.

• 22:10Mary Beth Barone?

You've been tricked? No, this is fun.

• 22:13Speaker 02

  I've been tricked.

• 22:14Mary Beth Barone?

This is fun. This is like dinner theater.

• 22:15Speaker 02

  No.

• 22:16Mary Beth Barone?

What were you saying yesterday? I said the DVR.

• 22:19Benito Skinner?

I never got to say my bit.

• 22:20Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 22:21Benito Skinner?

It was me with all the room service. I had a huge hash brown on a fork with ketchup, because I found it next to your bedside, because that's my girl. I knew that she, I literally knew she'd have ketchup on her bedside table. It was the most insane thing I've ever experienced.

• 22:34Speaker 02

You went there to look for it with no hesitation, no weirdness. You were just like, I need ketchup with this and went to the bedside table.

• 22:40Benito Skinner?

I go, there's no ketchup. Give me two seconds. And then I walked into the bedroom. It was next to her bed by her phone. And I went, I know this woman in a way that's clinical. It's disgusting. So I dipped the hash brown in the ketchup and I said, I don't need what's ever gonna be on the telly. I got the BBC right here. And it was you guys talking.

• 22:59Speaker 02

We were arguing about something, maybe.

• 23:02Benito Skinner?

No, no, no, it was like.

• 23:03Mary Beth Barone?

We were just having fun. We were ribbing each other lately.

• 23:06Speaker 02

  Oh, that's nice.

• 23:07Benito Skinner?

You guys don't, your arguments are very chill and relaxed.

• 23:09Mary Beth Barone?

Well, now, well, we acknowledged that we were the worst couple in the world.

• 23:12Speaker 02

We wanted to come on the pod and say, like, come out as the worst couple of all time.

• 23:17Benito Skinner?

I don't think that's true because I don't, we, we never got a front row seat to Epstein and Ghislaine's vibe. They had to have been worse.

• 23:23Mary Beth Barone?

  That's true, okay.

• 23:25Benito Skinner?

Do I think she rode for him?

• 23:26Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, I think they got along well, though. They just did a lot of damage.

• 23:30Benito Skinner?

  I do not.

• 23:30Mary Beth Barone?

They were twin flames. I mean, they, they were, and I, they were lucky to find each other. They were lucky to find each other.

• 23:36Benito Skinner?

It's so funny you say that because sometimes when people say like, match your freak, I think of them.

• 23:40Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 23:41Benito Skinner?

Cause I think there was a meme a long time ago of them of like, nah, I don't know if it's always good. Genuinely in their bag.

• 23:47Speaker 02

  In their bag.

• 23:48Mary Beth Barone?

  Being each other's biggest flex.

• 23:49Benito Skinner?

  Oh my god, it's sick.

• 23:52Mary Beth Barone?

But, no, I'm saying the rest of the world was unlucky because they met, but the two of them together, I mean, pitching that to someone and then just going, what? No, they found each other.

• 24:02Benito Skinner?

Okay, so I guess we've come to the conclusion that you guys are a worse couple.

• 24:06Mary Beth Barone?

We're a worse couple than Epstein and Ghislaine.

• 24:07Speaker 02

Well, we are the number one worst couple of all time.

• 24:10Benito Skinner?

I don't agree with that. I've seen much worse, but if you guys want to believe it for your own.

• 24:13Speaker 02

You know, it's my personal sort of like, where it is a badge and I think someone's gonna do it and we'll take that.

• 24:17Mary Beth Barone?

It was behind closed doors. It was where bad stuff was happening.

• 24:19Speaker 02

  We sucked ass.

• 24:21Mary Beth Barone?

  We fought so much.

• 24:22Benito Skinner?

We had so much fun with you on tour.

• 24:24Mary Beth Barone?

When it was good, it was good. And when it was bad, it was so bad.

• 24:26Benito Skinner?

Yeah, it was crazy. Going to diners with you, going to movies.

• 24:28Mary Beth Barone?

Permanent damage to my nervous system.

• 24:30Speaker 02

Are we gonna keep that in?

• 24:32Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 24:32Speaker 02

That I gave you permanent damage to your nervous system?

• 24:34Mary Beth Barone?

No, you didn't. You didn't. Our relationship did. Our relationship did permanent damage to my nervous system.

• 24:39Speaker 02

And that was both of us.

• 24:40Benito Skinner?

And you were, I mean, I will say.

• 24:41Speaker 02

  It was fifty fifty.

• 24:42Mary Beth Barone?

It was the alchemy of the date, us dating.

• 24:44Benito Skinner?

I can't imagine how much you guys were on your phones.

• 24:47Mary Beth Barone?

Yes, you can. You were there and it was so bad. I was constantly texting, FaceTiming. I wouldn't go out with friends because I would just want to FaceTime and text, you know?

• 24:56Speaker 02

When someone FaceTimes me now, I go into fight or flight.

• 24:59Mary Beth Barone?

  It's definitely.

• 25:00Speaker 02

The hairs on the back of my neck.

• 25:02Mary Beth Barone?

But I did long distance after us. That's what people don't realize.

• 25:05Benito Skinner?

Jimmy and I both have to shit so badly.

• 25:07Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, you can't. Go in the corner by the guitar.

• 25:10Benito Skinner?

I'll go in the studio with the guitar.

• 25:12Mary Beth Barone?

I did back to back long distance. Nearly killed me.

• 25:15Speaker 02

Yeah, that was wild for me to go from.

• 25:18Mary Beth Barone?

But I told the person I won't do long distance again. And so then, well, he was like, okay, I'll move to New York.

• 25:22Speaker 02

  Something I never even.

• 25:23Mary Beth Barone?

Something he never uttered the words of. But then it was like, oh, well, so that hasn't end, the long distance hasn't ended because we're gonna move in together July 1st. And then that didn't happen, obviously.

• 25:33Speaker 02

And how did that turn out?

• 25:34Mary Beth Barone?

And that didn't work out so well.

• 25:36Benito Skinner?

So that was kind of not the one.

• 25:37Mary Beth Barone?

So I know who Teddy's gonna get next.

• 25:41Benito Skinner?

Teddy's got her eye on someone.

• 25:44Speaker 02

It's crazy now that we're sort of XXs, which I think does change something somehow.

• 25:49Mary Beth Barone?

  Thank you for saying that.

• 25:50Speaker 02

And XX is like a whole different thing.

• 25:52Mary Beth Barone?

If I'm talking about Edward, I'll say Edward. If I'm talking about the guy I did after Edward, I say my ex because we never revealed his identity.

• 25:58Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 25:58Mary Beth Barone?

But I will always say if it's Edward. So there's no conspiracy theories. And the person that dumped me that I announced on Seth Meyers was not Edward.

• 26:06Speaker 02

Oh, yeah, I did get some DMs about that.

• 26:08Benito Skinner?

  I know.

• 26:08Speaker 02

  But you know what?

• 26:09Benito Skinner?

We brought you in here to.

• 26:10Speaker 02

It's just how we didn't know I'm in the conversation.

• 26:11Benito Skinner?

Of course. You know what? We brought you here to clear your name in a lot of ways.

• 26:15Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 26:16Benito Skinner?

And I get that sometimes when people are like, when you were at the overcompensating party, I remember someone was like, oh, Edward's here. And I was like, yeah, so that's my brother.

• 26:25Mary Beth Barone?

  That's my guy.

• 26:26Speaker 02

And also, like, you think I would rock up to that without?

• 26:29Mary Beth Barone?

If you guys were not on good terms.

• 26:30Speaker 02

If we were on good terms, I'm like, I'm coming. You go, oh.

• 26:33Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 26:34Speaker 02

  Congrats on the show.

• 26:35Benito Skinner?

Yeah, it would be kind of funny.

• 26:36Speaker 02

Shame if someone made a scene tonight.

• 26:38Mary Beth Barone?

  It's actually good.

• 26:40Benito Skinner?

  Those were my girls.

• 26:41Mary Beth Barone?

You won Fumble of the Year 2024.

• 26:43Speaker 02

I won Fumble of the Year 2024.

• 26:44Mary Beth Barone?

What's it called? Your successor, who we have never named, won Fumble of the Year for this year. Early on, too, April.

• 26:51Benito Skinner?

Yeah, there were a few people who won in.

• 26:53Speaker 02

He put in a huge 25.

• 26:54Mary Beth Barone?

I didn't want to put anyone else on.

• 26:55Speaker 02

He put in a huge ship, yeah.

• 26:57Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, he, he kind of said.

• 26:58Speaker 02

It was a big early statement from him.

• 26:59Mary Beth Barone?

I'm going for Fumble of the Decade.

• 27:01Speaker 02

Currently on your Instagram, I don't know if it's the same person who comments it, but someone comments every time. Imagine fumbling Mary Beth Barone.

• 27:08Mary Beth Barone?

  Because that was a tweet.

• 27:09Speaker 02

And I want to like it every time.

• 27:10Mary Beth Barone?

  That was a tweet.

• 27:10Speaker 02

  I go, I don't have to imagine.

• 27:12Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, you did it. You did that.

• 27:13Speaker 02

I live it every fucking day. This is my life.

• 27:17Benito Skinner?

But you fumbled it with flair.

• 27:19Mary Beth Barone?

  You fumbled it with flair.

• 27:20Speaker 02

You fumbled it with flair. Look, if you're gonna fumble it, yeah, you know.

• 27:24Benito Skinner?

What do you miss most about me?

• 27:27Speaker 02

I do miss being on tour with you. You once created an era that I feel like, don't break my heart, but I feel like was just for me.

• 27:33Benito Skinner?

It was just for you. They all are.

• 27:36Speaker 02

There was an era that you hate and still hate.

• 27:38Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, God, are you gonna do it right now?

• 27:40Benito Skinner?

Big wheels keep on turning. I gotta keep that pussy squared. And we rolling, rolling, rolling, rolling, rolling on the river. Cause we were in the car, so I needed to come up with a car ditty and it needed to appeal to a straight man. So I assumed a squirt joke would do it.

• 27:57Speaker 02

You hit every button, bang on. It's, it's lived, you know, it's gone through my head a lot of times since.

• 28:03Benito Skinner?

This has tickled me every part of. You guys gotta figure that out.

• 28:06Speaker 02

I miss, I miss the sort of bespoke eras. I miss going around sort of towns in America that I would never go to otherwise.

• 28:12Mary Beth Barone?

  Buying blazers at thrift shops.

• 28:14Speaker 02

With the two of you, me, of course, buying things, me talking about clothes a lot.

• 28:18Benito Skinner?

I love going to thrift stores.

• 28:20Speaker 02

You would send, you would sort of send me into the wilderness on the day, cause you, I mean, you had jobs.

• 28:24Mary Beth Barone?

Right, we were working, we were fully, heavily working.

• 28:27Speaker 02

You were fully, heavily working and I.

• 28:28Benito Skinner?

  You were a struggling actor.

• 28:29Mary Beth Barone?

  We were building an empire.

• 28:31Benito Skinner?

You were a struggling actor. You had to turn to the stage, things were going so bad.

• 28:40Speaker 02

I lost my hat, I've got hot hair.

• 28:41Mary Beth Barone?

Shit, shit. Wait, what do you miss least about dating me?

• 28:44Speaker 02

  What do I miss least?

• 28:45Benito Skinner?

He was just getting through the list of me.

• 28:47Speaker 02

Whoa. What do I miss least about dating you? The distance. That's a nice, that's a nice thing to say, isn't it?

• 28:55Benito Skinner?

  No, that's a great answer.

• 28:55Speaker 02

I'm not gonna be mean to, I'm, I'm not gonna like.

• 28:57Benito Skinner?

Can you let my boy speak for once? Jesus fucking Christ. Take it out on me later.

• 29:03Mary Beth Barone?

  I will.

• 29:03Benito Skinner?

  I know.

• 29:05Speaker 02

No, that is what I miss the least out of it, is going out with someone. It's crazy when the person that you love is on the other side of the world for three months. And you're like, what's the point in any of this?

• 29:14Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah, it's really hard.

• 29:15Benito Skinner?

Isn't it crazy missing us? Missing us, like, I've heard it's a jog on like any other that you, once you don't have it, it's.

• 29:20Speaker 02

And I just put, I just put in a 12 month shift.

• 29:23Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, yeah, cuz we haven't really seen each other.

• 29:26Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I've seen you more than her.

• 29:27Speaker 02

  Yeah, I've seen you. Yeah.

• 29:28Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah, that's true.

• 29:29Speaker 02

She has you. The overcompensating party.

• 29:31Benito Skinner?

  Who'd you love?

• 29:32Speaker 02

  At.

• 29:33Benito Skinner?

  Stormzy's house party.

• 29:34Speaker 02

  Party.

• 29:35Benito Skinner?

Baby love. Funny, I keep asking people, I'm like, yeah, that probably was crazy watching us. And they're like, not at all.

• 29:41Mary Beth Barone?

No, it's fine. My mom goes, I can separate the art from the artist.

• 29:44Benito Skinner?

  You know what?

• 29:45Speaker 02

  Mary.

• 29:45Benito Skinner?

Did too. My, I told you my mom's thing. She was like, you with a woman was weirder to me than you with guys. And I'm like, that kills me.

• 29:52Mary Beth Barone?

My mom said, well, they weren't your boobs. They were the character's boobs. I keep telling people.

• 29:56Speaker 02

  See, that's.

• 29:56Benito Skinner?

  Oh, my God.

• 29:57Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 29:58Benito Skinner?

She goes, Benny Drama made her do it.

• 30:00Mary Beth Barone?

She said, that fucking perverted freak.

• 30:02Benito Skinner?

You know what? Yeah, we're all adults.

• 30:04Speaker 02

But in season two, are you gonna push the boundaries? Are you gonna shock me?

• 30:09Benito Skinner?

If you're asking if I'm showing Bush, Edward will see. Yeah, I love it. College is naked. It should be. College is sexy and naked and awkward and sad. And it's all in there. Yeah. It is like, I've never tried to force it into scenes, but if it felt like it would be like someone was honestly naked. And that was something with Mary Beth that I really loved, like in our conversations about it. Because these were conversations. I didn't just make her get naked, but that she would be naked in bed with her boyfriend here. She would not have like a bra on, like.

• 30:37Speaker 02

Yeah, you're like, so if you respect the character, you'll get your tits out.

• 30:41Mary Beth Barone?

  Exactly.

• 30:41Speaker 02

  You'll do it.

• 30:42Mary Beth Barone?

And I said, I'm sorry, I don't need your nudity, writer.

• 30:45Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah.

• 30:46Benito Skinner?

  I don't care.

• 30:47Speaker 02

You said, there are so many actresses who'll do this.

• 30:49Mary Beth Barone?

Who would kill for this job.

• 30:50Speaker 02

  There's so many.

• 30:51Benito Skinner?

  Anybody. I could do myself.

• 30:54Speaker 02

  They'll do it.

• 30:54Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 30:55Speaker 02

  They'll do it for free.

• 30:56Mary Beth Barone?

  Daddy would.

• 30:56Benito Skinner?

  Daddy would love.

• 30:57Mary Beth Barone?

Daddy's our intimacy coordinator for season two.

• 31:00Benito Skinner?

Daddy is the intimacy coordinator. Yeah.

• 31:04Mary Beth Barone?

I can't wait to have her on set.

• 31:06Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 31:07Mary Beth Barone?

That night at the overcompensating party, that was my birthday. And all my best guys were not with me.

• 31:13Speaker 02

I was very sad that you weren't there.

• 31:15Benito Skinner?

  That was actually fucked up.

• 31:16Speaker 02

I just looked at the posters around the room. It was like she's with us in, in sort of in spirit, I guess. I was wearing my slut slayer baby tee.

• 31:24Benito Skinner?

I know you look so cute, a grown woman in a little baby tee. And then, I don't know if you remember my look, Edward.

• 31:30Speaker 02

Yeah, you were in like a sort of like, like Vivienne Westwood, torn up shirt and tie combo.

• 31:35Benito Skinner?

Thank you. It was a nod to British culture, but also, you know, what's interesting? The shirt was confusing to people because they thought I spilled the wine on it. But I just want to make it known here, it was 2013.

• 31:44Mary Beth Barone?

You said, check the runway image.

• 31:46Benito Skinner?

  Check the runway image.

• 31:47Speaker 02

And the, and the wine was there or it was, it was worn by someone else who spilled wine on it.

• 31:51Mary Beth Barone?

  No, that was the designer.

• 31:52Benito Skinner?

  That was the designer.

• 31:52Speaker 02

  That was the design.

• 31:53Benito Skinner?

  That was from Vivienne.

• 31:54Speaker 02

Clothes, and I've always said this, shh, don't, you know, I'm talking about clothes, but clothes tell a story.

• 31:59Mary Beth Barone?

  And I have my ears.

• 32:00Benito Skinner?

And sweetie, I've been storytelling since I was a kid.

• 32:02Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 32:03Benito Skinner?

Okay, now come on. It was cute and I wore shorts and, which was like, you know.

• 32:07Mary Beth Barone?

  That's different for you.

• 32:08Benito Skinner?

It was, it was crazy to wear shorts, but they were cute. They were really.

• 32:10Speaker 02

They were, they were, they were really cute. We walked in and dare I say, the crowd went wild.

• 32:16Benito Skinner?

  Don't even start.

• 32:17Mary Beth Barone?

  Justin Bieber.

• 32:18Benito Skinner?

It's these Brits. I don't know what I do, but.

• 32:20Speaker 02

It was like you were held back from the party. We were all there. We were having fun. We're having a good time. And then a hush descended. He's coming. He's arrived.

• 32:29Benito Skinner?

And you go, I've seen all of him.

• 32:32Speaker 02

Yeah. And I, and I was getting very stressed out because I was like, I, I needed everybody to know that like, we had something special.

• 32:38Benito Skinner?

  Well, and.

• 32:38Speaker 02

So I was telling all of the influencers that were invited.

• 32:41Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 32:42Speaker 02

  I'm not one of you.

• 32:43Benito Skinner?

You saw my post. I mean, he was like.

• 32:44Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 32:45Benito Skinner?

You were like third slide, easy, maybe two.

• 32:47Speaker 02

Yeah, I was third slide. And that was good because I think one thing that you, you two have always been nice to is you have told the Baronees that, you know.

• 32:53Mary Beth Barone?

Well, because our breakup was very respectful.

• 32:56Speaker 02

  Our breakup was very respectful.

• 32:57Benito Skinner?

I still see us at GQ, I remember I was talking, God, I love just talking about just GQ in general. But I was talking to you and I did see a few people stare at us as if there was, there was some like conversation happening. And instead, little did they know, I was talking to you and I was like, hello, one.

• 33:10Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 33:11Mary Beth Barone?

Well, you were getting interviewed by Denise Welch and I was so drunk and I just beelined for that. And I, I don't know why they gave me a microphone. I have no idea what I said.

• 33:19Benito Skinner?

  Because how could they not?

• 33:20Mary Beth Barone?

That better not see the light of day ever.

• 33:21Speaker 02

  You were tottering around.

• 33:23Mary Beth Barone?

Edward was taking photos of us there and he said he got clocked by a few people.

• 33:27Speaker 02

Some people just looked across the party and saw me sort of suspiciously taking photos of my ex-girlfriend from like quite a distance.

• 33:34Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah. Well, it's, it's your ex and her new guy.

• 33:37Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 33:38Benito Skinner?

  And Denise Wells.

• 33:39Mary Beth Barone?

  And Denise Wells.

• 33:40Benito Skinner?

I love her so much. I knew you were gonna show up. She goes, where's Mary Beth? But it was so cold outside. I was like, well, we'll lose her.

• 33:46Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, I blew off the roof.

• 33:48Benito Skinner?

  And we did.

• 33:49Mary Beth Barone?

I had to hold on to the thing and then they pulled me back on.

• 33:51Benito Skinner?

You were Wendy. You flew towards Big Ben.

• 33:55Mary Beth Barone?

But then you guys caught me. Peter!

• 34:00Benito Skinner?

Fuck, I should've showed up as Peter Pan. I did a bit the other day in my room.

• 34:05Mary Beth Barone?

  Alone?

• 34:05Benito Skinner?

And it was so funny. I went, and Peter Pan with the thing, and the thing flew.

• 34:09Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, I love that.

• 34:10Benito Skinner?

  Crowd went wild.

• 34:10Mary Beth Barone?

One time you did that. Were you talking about the curtains?

• 34:12Benito Skinner?

  Mm-hmm.

• 34:13Mary Beth Barone?

One time you did that in Seattle and the thing that opened the blind just fully fell off.

• 34:17Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 34:18Mary Beth Barone?

  I remember it.

• 34:19Benito Skinner?

Something about blinds, for me, it's like immediately I'm backstage.

• 34:22Mary Beth Barone?

  Mm-hmm.

• 34:24Mary Beth Barone?

OCEA! Should we do some of our jokes from GQ? Yeah, can I hear the jokes? For Daddy, and then we'll let him ride? So I wasn't allowed to be at the dinner, cuz I'm...

• 38:19Mary Beth Barone?

You haven't been on TV in a while.

• 38:21Benito Skinner?

Not famous enough, never booked, had to return to the theater.

• 38:23Mary Beth Barone?

  Sure.

• 38:23Benito Skinner?

Should we do our Paddington one?

• 38:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, yeah, that's fun.

• 38:26Benito Skinner?

Okay. Give me the greatest hits.

• 38:28Mary Beth Barone?

Okay, so I said, "In all seriousness, this is a room full of incredibly talented individuals. Benny, if you could give a man of the year to anyone, alive or dead, who would it be?"

• 38:39Benito Skinner?

  Paddington.

• 38:40Mary Beth Barone?

Leave my ex out of this.

• 38:42Benito Skinner?

  You fucked him too?

• 38:44Mary Beth Barone?

  We were in love.

• 38:45Benito Skinner?

That grizzly bear. Did he take you on the London Eye? I stuffed him on that.

• 38:51Mary Beth Barone?

You, a top? Now I've seen everything.

• 38:56Benito Skinner?

  I like that one.

• 38:56Mary Beth Barone?

That was a pretty good one.

• 38:57Benito Skinner?

That's a really good one. Do your Stellan Skarsgård one.

• 39:01Mary Beth Barone?

Stellan Skarsgård, "Thank you for all of your sons that you've had."

• 39:04Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 39:05Mary Beth Barone?

"The A-list acting talent that has come out of you is more than Rada and Lambda combined."

• 39:10Benito Skinner?

Fabulous, that's good. That's really good.

• 39:12Mary Beth Barone?

I don't know if he laughed, but that's okay.

• 39:14Benito Skinner?

Jack O'Connell is here, the one white person in Sinners. Yeah, fabulous, perfect.

• 39:19Mary Beth Barone?

  Dance for me.

• 39:19Benito Skinner?

  Dance for me.

• 39:21Mary Beth Barone?

Let's do Summer I Turned Pretty.

• 39:22Benito Skinner?

Yeah, these are, oh my god.

• 39:24Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, and one of the boys from the Summer I Turned Pretty is here.

• 39:27Benito Skinner?

Christopher couldn't make it, which sucks because Mary Beth really wanted to sexually harass them together.

• 39:34Benito Skinner?

She kept saying she loves Paris this time of year. Eiffel Tower. No, they know. Do the Lily Allen one.

• 39:41Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, my God, yeah.

• 39:42Benito Skinner?

This one's like, oh, my God.

• 39:43Mary Beth Barone?

This one's pretty good. You guys, I really wanted to bring my puppy tonight. She loves events, but unfortunately, dogs from America aren't allowed in the UK, which is also the reason David Harbour couldn't make it.

• 39:53Speaker 02

Yeah, perfect. That's a perfect joke.

• 39:55Mary Beth Barone?

And then I say, and then it says here, Benny, to add something about a butt plug.

• 39:59Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I should have left it in.

• 40:00Speaker 02

  Yeah, but what was it?

• 40:02Benito Skinner?

  That's what I say.

• 40:02Speaker 02

Oh, that was a butt plug. That's really good.

• 40:04Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 40:05Benito Skinner?

Obviously, this has been a difficult year. America slipped further into fascism. Marginalized groups continue to be targeted by the government, and Kevin Spacey smiled at me at Heathrow. That's why it's so important to be here focusing on what really matters, honoring some of the richest people in the world.

• 40:22Mary Beth Barone?

You are the real heroes who have made a difference this year.

• 40:25Benito Skinner?

  Oh, this is my favorite.

• 40:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Actors, musicians, athletes.

• 40:28Benito Skinner?

  Yeah, where are the athletes?

• 40:30Mary Beth Barone?

  Thank you.

• 40:32Benito Skinner?

  Thank you.

• 40:34Mary Beth Barone?

But unfortunately, the athletes that were there were the lionesses, so they actually like do a lot of good, but.

• 40:39Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 40:39Speaker 02

  Well, we love the lionesses.

• 40:40Mary Beth Barone?

We thought it was gonna be race car drivers.

• 40:42Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I thought it was gonna be like an F1 guy, and I'd be like, just thanks, man. You fucking killed it this year.

• 40:48Mary Beth Barone?

  You rocked it out.

• 40:49Benito Skinner?

  Is that it?

• 40:50Mary Beth Barone?

  Those were the good ones.

• 40:51Benito Skinner?

I think those are the good ones.

• 40:53Mary Beth Barone?

  We had a good time.

• 40:53Speaker 02

The David Harbour one for me is testament to you and Benny as well, but really, I love that you're still doing jokes when you do stand up.

• 41:02Mary Beth Barone?

  I have to.

• 41:03Speaker 02

  We've talked about for years.

• 41:05Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, it's jokes are a dead art form.

• 41:07Speaker 02

  You've got, you've got punchlines.

• 41:09Benito Skinner?

There's one more that you have to, because it's a perfect joke.

• 41:11Mary Beth Barone?

  What?

• 41:12Benito Skinner?

We're told this is actually the social event of the season, the hardest ticket to get in town, a real huzu. Apparently Prince Andrew was even vying for a seat at this dinner.

• 41:21Mary Beth Barone?

But then he found out there was no kids table.

• 41:23Speaker 02

  Perfect. Another perfect joke.

• 41:25Benito Skinner?

And then she said, GQ also said they have a no dickhead rule at the event, but looking around the room, it looks like a few of you got it.

• 41:32Mary Beth Barone?

Well, I thought that it was gonna be there and we'll bleep that, but he wasn't, so.

• 41:39Speaker 02

  He could have been, though.

• 41:40Mary Beth Barone?

  Exactly.

• 41:40Speaker 02

He's a hard man to pin down at the best of times.

• 41:42Mary Beth Barone?

I know, so. Alright, should we get into what you ride for?

• 41:45Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 41:46Mary Beth Barone?

  Wait, where are we going?

• 41:47Benito Skinner?

  Who cares? Ride!

• 41:50Speaker 02

It really gives me chills to have my own ride.

• 41:53Mary Beth Barone?

Well, let's hear it. No pressure.

• 41:54Speaker 02

Speaking of the importance of being earnest, is I am gonna lower the tone by being a bit earnest.

• 41:58Mary Beth Barone?

  Be honest, go for it.

• 42:00Speaker 02

I'm riding for you two getting the clout that you deserve.

• 42:03Mary Beth Barone?

  Wow.

• 42:03Benito Skinner?

He came in here with an agenda and I appreciate it.

• 42:06Speaker 02

Yeah, cuz I'm trying to get my best back, so I was like, let's just be, let's just be super nice. I stood by you both for five long years.

• 42:16Benito Skinner?

  I know, honey.

• 42:16Speaker 02

And watched how hard you work.

• 42:18Benito Skinner?

  You watched Queer as Folk.

• 42:19Speaker 02

  I watched Queer as Folk.

• 42:20Benito Skinner?

You sat in a car with us and took us to Jimmy John's.

• 42:24Speaker 02

I watched you do one of the craziest live shows ever where you got married.

• 42:28Benito Skinner?

That's the worst show we've ever done.

• 42:29Speaker 02

The worst show you've ever done and I said-

• 42:30Benito Skinner?

  Horrific.

• 42:31Mary Beth Barone?

But you didn't get the ick.

• 42:32Speaker 02

It was a show where there had been no rehearsal from anyone involved.

• 42:35Mary Beth Barone?

And the venue started the show without telling us.

• 42:37Speaker 02

And I knew it. And guess who was in the audience?

• 42:40Benito Skinner?

  You, sweetie.

• 42:41Mary Beth Barone?

  Charlie Puth was there.

• 42:42Speaker 02

Charlie Puth was in the audience.

• 42:43Benito Skinner?

But above all else, the venue smelled like cum.

• 42:46Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah.

• 42:47Mary Beth Barone?

The Avalon, LA. Thank you, Avalon.

• 42:49Speaker 02

  Thank you.

• 42:49Mary Beth Barone?

  Someone came backstage and goes-

• 42:50Benito Skinner?

  Mickey Avalon here.

• 42:51Mary Beth Barone?

  With the attitude.

• 42:53Benito Skinner?

  Leading limbs to water.

• 42:54Mary Beth Barone?

But they came back and they said, we started the show. I go, oh, oh, okay.

• 42:57Benito Skinner?

Yeah, definitely let us know, but, oh, cool.

• 43:00Speaker 02

Anyway, that was another thing that I sat through and so many things that it's so nice to see, since we broke up, actually, which I find it hard to not correlate in a weird way, the explosion.

• 43:12Benito Skinner?

  It's glow up.

• 43:13Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 43:13Benito Skinner?

  It's hard to miss.

• 43:14Speaker 02

I know. And of course, overcompensating everyone loving it was the best thing ever. But I also was there for so long while you were pitching it.

• 43:22Benito Skinner?

  I know.

• 43:22Speaker 02

How long it went, I remember we were in Boston, I was with you guys, you were doing a show when like, maybe you found out that it was getting made.

• 43:28Benito Skinner?

  That day.

• 43:29Mary Beth Barone?

  You were there?

• 43:30Speaker 02

  I was there.

• 43:30Benito Skinner?

  He was at Boston.

• 43:31Mary Beth Barone?

  For fuck's sake.

• 43:32Speaker 02

I would, no, it's okay, I was at the dive bar.

• 43:34Mary Beth Barone?

You were at the dive bar.

• 43:34Benito Skinner?

Oh, wait, were you in Boston or I thought maybe you were in New York right after?

• 43:38Speaker 02

  No, I was in Boston.

• 43:39Mary Beth Barone?

I was watching Eat, Pray, Love.

• 43:40Speaker 02

I was in Boston, but I might as well have not been there cuz I-

• 43:42Mary Beth Barone?

I was watching Eat, Pray, Love.

• 43:43Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 43:44Mary Beth Barone?

For the first time. Speaking of Julia Roberts.

• 43:46Speaker 02

Oh, yeah, no, totally. Seeing you guys achieve what you always wanted, which was, I think, and there's more to come, but you guys set out to make everyone happy and you do.

• 43:55Benito Skinner?

  That's very sweet.

• 43:56Speaker 02

You do, the Barone's so happy and they're so kind.

• 43:59Mary Beth Barone?

  Brits mostly.

• 44:00Benito Skinner?

Yeah, they get us here. I don't know. There's something about it. It's cool.

• 44:04Speaker 02

We've always loved you, my friends.

• 44:06Benito Skinner?

  We appreciate it.

• 44:07Mary Beth Barone?

And I miss, I've missed them. I haven't seen them.

• 44:08Speaker 02

  Thought you were controlling.

• 44:09Mary Beth Barone?

  Right. Most of them.

• 44:11Benito Skinner?

  Give me names.

• 44:12Mary Beth Barone?

  We'll tell you after.

• 44:13Speaker 02

  We'll do names afterwards.

• 44:14Mary Beth Barone?

There were concerns, I mean, there were concerns, there were concerns of my, me being bossy and whatever.

• 44:19Speaker 02

You can be controlling with a lowercase c.

• 44:21Mary Beth Barone?

I remember this horrible fight we had once about a phone charger. I don't remember exactly, but we were gonna go to Norma for dinner.

• 44:27Benito Skinner?

  Yeah, totally.

• 44:28Mary Beth Barone?

And then we got in a huge fight in front of Tim and Anya. So that sucked.

• 44:32Speaker 02

That sucks. When the fight breaks into, in front of the friends, that's really scary stuff.

• 44:35Mary Beth Barone?

Well, it was hard because you lived with five actors.

• 44:38Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 44:39Mary Beth Barone?

  So.

• 44:39Benito Skinner?

That's crazy. You know, that could only happen with straight guys, because straight actors root for each other.

• 44:44Speaker 02

Mm-hmm. We do like each other.

• 44:45Benito Skinner?

Yeah. Well, there's more roles for you guys.

• 44:47Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 44:48Benito Skinner?

Well, you have our roles too.

• 44:49Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah. It's not the limit.

• 44:51Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 44:51Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 44:52Speaker 02

  We got him.

• 44:53Benito Skinner?

  I love it.

• 44:53Mary Beth Barone?

But yeah, that was a shame.

• 44:54Speaker 02

You're the only person ever to make me storm out of a room. Can you remember the one when we got an argument because I was desperate for piss? And I went to the toilet and just before I started pissing, you pushed me out the way and sat on the toilet and pissed?

• 45:06Mary Beth Barone?

I feel like you should let girls go first.

• 45:08Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 45:09Mary Beth Barone?

So. You could have peed through my legs. I couldn't have peed through yours.

• 45:13Benito Skinner?

Just say, it all sounds good.

• 45:14Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 45:15Speaker 02

What I'm saying is worst couple of all time.

• 45:17Mary Beth Barone?

But I think a lot of those fights were also a result of just like, we weren't together all the time. And then it was like, that was sort of the basis for like all the bad stuff.

• 45:25Speaker 02

And the pressure, the pressure was very high when we were together to be like perfect and nice to each other.

• 45:29Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 45:30Benito Skinner?

Well, that's always hard with couples when you haven't seen each other for a while and then you get back together and it's like, there is like a clunkiness because you've started to live independently.

• 45:38Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 45:39Benito Skinner?

It's hard to not take the independence as like a slap in the face. It's like, wait, you haven't seen me, but now you want to go get coffee alone?

• 45:45Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah, totally.

• 45:46Benito Skinner?

But which is so fair. It's like, well, that's what you've been doing.

• 45:48Mary Beth Barone?

Or just like, don't put your suitcase there.

• 45:50Benito Skinner?

And sometimes it's like, I just literally want to listen to this new song. It's not really that deep.

• 45:53Speaker 02

  It was crazy.

• 45:54Benito Skinner?

Look at me, look at me there.

• 45:54Speaker 02

I was just gonna say, important to be earnest.

• 45:57Mary Beth Barone?

But I appreciate that you have always celebrated us and our accomplishments, even post-war.

• 46:02Speaker 02

  I posted about overcompensating.

• 46:04Benito Skinner?

You did, and it was very cute. You sent me the nicest message when it came out, and that was really lovely.

• 46:08Speaker 02

  Well, it's a great show.

• 46:09Benito Skinner?

And you were at that party. It was very sweet. What do you want me to fucking say? I'm saying. But here's my thing. I'm like, I, I'm the best. Sorry.

• 46:18Speaker 02

You are, you are kind of the best.

• 46:19Benito Skinner?

  I know. It's so random.

• 46:21Mary Beth Barone?

And we've always said, when you lose one of us, you lose both of us.

• 46:24Benito Skinner?

  I know.

• 46:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Seriously.

• 46:25Benito Skinner?

  You're as close to

• 46:26Speaker 02

You know how scared I was?

• 46:27Benito Skinner?

  Anyone has ever been.

• 46:29Mary Beth Barone?

I feel like because we're still good friends, it's fine.

• 46:31Speaker 02

It wasn't easy. We had to not speak. You sent me a text that was like,

• 46:34Mary Beth Barone?

  I need space.

• 46:35Speaker 02

Shut the fuck up for, because I kept.

• 46:37Mary Beth Barone?

  I just need space.

• 46:38Speaker 02

I was like, my friend Mary Beth. I was kind of living in a dream world for a bit.

• 46:41Mary Beth Barone?

But then, I mean, that didn't last that long.

• 46:43Benito Skinner?

It's sweet, though. I mean, it's hard to, you think that you can do those things. And also, everyone has like different rules. And also, they'll, they'll be like, everyone loves to just bombard you with the.

• 46:52Speaker 02

You gotta, you gotta take your time.

• 46:54Mary Beth Barone?

  You have to heal.

• 46:55Benito Skinner?

We gotta make sure that people are healing. And I think you guys are probably heroes to a lot of people watching that this is so amicable and lovely. And I've just loved healing this. And I'm so glad you're back together.

• 47:08Mary Beth Barone?

Well, we, we figured out last night.

• 47:09Speaker 02

  And we are back together.

• 47:11Mary Beth Barone?

No, we figured out last night, when I'm 40 and he's 38, we'll probably get back together. But he'll have a kid with someone else.

• 47:17Benito Skinner?

Lord, save me, my drug is my baby. I officiate.

• 47:21Speaker 02

I'll have a kid with someone else.

• 47:22Benito Skinner?

Do a good job, but I'm officiating.

• 47:23Speaker 02

And the kid's gonna be charming.

• 47:24Benito Skinner?

And I'm wearing McLean and it's a kill.

• 47:26Mary Beth Barone?

  I don't think we'll get married.

• 47:27Benito Skinner?

  McLean and it's a kill.

• 47:28Speaker 02

Yeah, McLean kill. You got the McLean kill.

• 47:30Mary Beth Barone?

Ceremony, but we wouldn't do the paperwork.

• 47:32Speaker 02

  Sure, sure, sure.

• 47:33Mary Beth Barone?

So that's, that's only, that's six years from now.

• 47:36Benito Skinner?

Sad the other day. Oh, I almost figured this.

• 47:38Speaker 02

  You can do that.

• 47:39Benito Skinner?

Thanks. I saw this photo the other day and it broke my heart because it was David Beckham and Miss Posh at their wedding in the purple custom outfits.

• 47:47Mary Beth Barone?

That's what I really wanted to do.

• 47:48Benito Skinner?

And that's what you guys wanted to do for a party.

• 47:50Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 47:50Speaker 02

And I, I thought of it and it made me really sad.

• 47:52Mary Beth Barone?

It would confuse people if we did it now.

• 47:54Speaker 02

We probably should, we should stay away from it until you're 40 and I'm 38. But until then, you know, we can do other costumes, I guess.

• 48:00Mary Beth Barone?

You have six years to do whatever you want. Sow those wild oats.

• 48:03Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 48:04Speaker 02

  Thank you.

• 48:04Mary Beth Barone?

  And then.

• 48:05Benito Skinner?

Let the sky fall. Let the salt burn.

• 48:11Mary Beth Barone?

What's been the worst part of us not being together?

• 48:14Speaker 02

The worst part of not being together, I loved being Mary Beth's boyfriend. That's like a title. It was really fun. In the ride world, it was just like, that took the pressure off me. When I was on tour with you guys, it was like, it was just eye candy.

• 48:28Benito Skinner?

You were just hot. It was just like you in the bathroom getting like.

• 48:31Speaker 02

I was just like at the back and like, some people would be like, oh my God, it's Mary Beth's boyfriend. Someone took a selfie with me for being Mary Beth's boyfriend.

• 48:37Benito Skinner?

Someone, that happened like every night.

• 48:39Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 48:40Benito Skinner?

You don't have to be humble in the library, C. Come on, we're kind of on your turf here. You let her rip.

• 48:44Speaker 02

Yeah, wait, we're in, we're in England.

• 48:46Mary Beth Barone?

  We're in England.

• 48:47Speaker 02

I did a play recently, you know, back on the stage.

• 48:50Mary Beth Barone?

  Cause you're in the theatre.

• 48:50Speaker 02

Cause I'm back on the stage.

• 48:51Benito Skinner?

  I, I'm so sad I missed that.

• 48:53Speaker 02

  I know, it's a shame.

• 48:54Benito Skinner?

I heard you were so brilliant and you looked so fantastic. And I saw some of the fan art, which I needed.

• 48:58Mary Beth Barone?

  The fan art was everything.

• 49:00Speaker 02

  We can get you some.

• 49:01Benito Skinner?

  Good.

• 49:01Speaker 02

We can get you some. Somebody came to stage door and they talked to me about Mary Beth. And then they sent me a DM saying if she is a barony and is listening to this and this makes the cut, then great. She sent me a really sweet DM being like, I'm so sorry for bringing up your ex, just in case that was like triggering or something. I was like.

• 49:17Mary Beth Barone?

  No, not triggering.

• 49:19Speaker 02

  It's good.

• 49:20Benito Skinner?

No, if anything, you gave the performance of your life that night, I'm sure.

• 49:23Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 49:23Benito Skinner?

You left it all on the fricking stage, kid.

• 49:25Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 49:26Benito Skinner?

We developed a kid with you.

• 49:27Speaker 02

  Queen. Clean.

• 49:29Mary Beth Barone?

  Clean.

• 49:31Speaker 02

I licked the plate clean. Yeah, kid came out. No, it was nothing to do with me, though. I just arrived in LA one time and it was.

• 49:38Mary Beth Barone?

But we leaned into it more.

• 49:39Speaker 02

  It was fully formed.

• 49:40Mary Beth Barone?

Cause it had a good audience, warm, receptive audience.

• 49:42Speaker 02

Well, because I'll laugh at anything Benny says. And I'll laugh at most of the things that you say.

• 49:46Mary Beth Barone?

  I know.

• 49:47Benito Skinner?

I know. It's hard not to perform for Edward. I'll say it.

• 49:51Mary Beth Barone?

It's hard not to perform for Benny. I'll say it.

• 49:54Speaker 02

And I'm just happy to be here.

• 49:56Benito Skinner?

You know what you are, Mary Beth?

• 49:58Mary Beth Barone?

  Bisexual?

• 49:59Benito Skinner?

Well, yeah, but you're also my ride or die.

• 50:02Speaker 02

  Ride or die.

• 50:04Benito Skinner?

How could we not write for our come up? I mean, come on.

• 50:06Speaker 02

Yeah, I was gonna say, I put you in a, I've, I've put you in a position here where it's like, so do you write?

• 50:11Mary Beth Barone?

  No, I can't.

• 50:12Speaker 02

  You deserve.

• 50:12Benito Skinner?

You know what? I write for Edward. I write for Eddie Obama.

• 50:15Speaker 02

You've already written for me, though.

• 50:17Benito Skinner?

  Baby, I've written it. I don't give.

• 50:21Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I've been on the tube. I love you.

• 50:23Speaker 02

Yeah, how was the tube? What line are you on?

• 50:25Benito Skinner?

I haven't actually been on yet.

• 50:27Mary Beth Barone?

We've been doing a lot of walking places.

• 50:29Benito Skinner?

  Only double deckers.

• 50:30Speaker 02

Well, of course, you're staying at a five star hotel in central London. You don't need to take the tube anywhere. You can walk anywhere you want.

• 50:34Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, but I'm still like salt to the earth, like corn fat.

• 50:37Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 50:37Mary Beth Barone?

Who's the person you've hooked up with that would upset me the most? I'm just kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.

• 50:42Speaker 02

  I can do it.

• 50:43Benito Skinner?

  Yeah, we'll.

• 50:43Mary Beth Barone?

  Well, no, I mean, sure.

• 50:45Speaker 02

  No, I think you know.

• 50:46Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 50:46Speaker 02

Yeah. We did a good breakdown of people that I've hooked up with over the last.

• 50:49Mary Beth Barone?

And I haven't hooked up with that many, so.

• 50:51Speaker 02

She held a gun to my head and I just had to go through them.

• 50:54Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 50:55Speaker 02

When you announced it on the pod, and I actually think this is quite, to use one of your phrases, army of love. But like when you announced on the pod, like a barony slid in my DMs and was like, I'm so sorry about you and Mary Beth. Are you free this week?

• 51:06Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 51:06Speaker 02

  And in like the same.

• 51:07Benito Skinner?

So I don't know if that's family, but I do know.

• 51:09Speaker 02

I kind of think it is. It is strangely family because if she feels comfortable to do that, then you've you've created a real safe space.

• 51:17Benito Skinner?

Maybe I would say too safe at that point. Some would say too safe, I would say.

• 51:22Mary Beth Barone?

But you didn't have to respond.

• 51:23Speaker 02

  I didn't respond.

• 51:24Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh.

• 51:25Speaker 02

No, no, no, no. No, she's outside waiting. I left that. I, I, I, yeah, I say, I say, give it a year.

• 51:31Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 51:31Speaker 02

Give it a year. Let's wait for the dust to settle.

• 51:33Mary Beth Barone?

  Give it a year.

• 51:34Benito Skinner?

And then one year later, he said, how about that pint?

• 51:39Benito Skinner?

Me, me at Sherlock Holmes, right by the Corinthia Hotel.

• 51:43Mary Beth Barone?

We walked by Sherlock Holmes yesterday.

• 51:44Benito Skinner?

We walked by a Sherlock Holmes pub. I go, me, me at Sherlock Holmes.

• 51:47Speaker 02

  At the Sherlock Holmes.
