173. Brian Le Gette: The Hidden Reason Your Body Struggles To Heal

When your body feels wired, depleted, foggy, inflamed, or slow to recover, the usual instinct is to add something else. Another supplement. Another device. Another protocol. But the body does not respond to tools just because they are available. It responds to the signals it is receiving, and if those signals keep telling the body it is under threat, it will keep prioritizing survival over repair. In this episode of Extend with Dr. Shah, I sit down with Brian Le Gette, the creator of the Ammortal Chamber to talk about it after personally experiencing it and feeling the difference in my body for days afterward. Brian breaks down the technology behind that experience, why it felt so different, and how the chamber works with the body, mind, nervous system, and cells at the same time. We also get into why many of the same principles behind the chamber are not as far out of reach as people may think, and what you can start applying at home if you want to give your body better recovery signals. Brian Le Gette is the creator of the Ammortal Chamber. With a background in industrial design, engineering, entrepreneurship, and health technology, he has spent decades building products and companies before creating a multi-modality experience focused on recovery, nervous system regulation, cellular support, performance, and human vibrancy. What's Discussed: (02:11) What the Ammortal Chamber is and why it works on more than one system in the body. (05:17) The calm, grounded, and energized feeling many people experience after a session. (09:42) The technology working behind the scenes during the chamber experience. (12:30) Why the body's stress state can affect healing, recovery, and performance. (18:00) The simple reset Brian recommends for people who do not have access to the chamber. (21:18) Why HRV may become one of the most important ways to understand nervous system balance. (37:34) The deeper science behind cellular recovery, oxidative stress, and the chamber's approach. Listen now to learn what happened inside the Ammortal Chamber, why the effects lasted beyond the session, and what recovery signals your body may be missing in everyday life. Today, I'm thrilled to welcome Brian Leggett, founder of Immortal, a company revolutionizing personal well-being. Brian's an industrial designer, an engineer, and an entrepreneur, whose journey led him to create a device that synergistically combines multiple modalities to upgrade our cellular biology and calm our nervous system. We're going to dive deep into how this innovative chamber helps individuals achieve a profound state of calm and energized flow, and why it's so crucial in our modern and overstimulated world. We're also going to learn how to replicate the key technologies in this chamber at home, so you can benefit from technologies like vibration, high-intensity light, pulse electrical magnetic frequency,

• 1:33Dr. Darshan Shah?

and parasyntetic stimulation on an everyday basis. Here's Brian Leggett.

• 1:42Dr. Darshan Shah?

Brian, so incredibly excited to have you here, finally.

• 1:45Speaker 01

I'm very excited to be here, Darshan.

• 1:47Dr. Darshan Shah?

Thank you so much for being here and joining us, and we're going to dive deep into some of the coolest biohacking, health, and wellness technology out there today. So incredibly excited to have you.

• 1:58Speaker 01

  Let's have some fun.

• 1:59Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, absolutely. So for the audience, Brian Leggett is the founder of a company called Immortal. And Immortal makes an incredible device that I tried about two years ago, I think it was. And I can't explain to you the feeling I had. Going into the device, actually, being in it and then coming out of it and for the week afterwards, it was a game changer. And I said, we have to bring this to more people. And since then, Brian and I have been in really, you know, deep talks about just how do we get this out to more people? And it's now available at Next South and we're going to be expanding that. And I just thought you have so much in your brain about all

• 2:41Dr. Darshan Shah?

these modalities that people can use to really accelerate their health journey. I just want to have you on here to tell my audience about it.

• 2:47Speaker 01

Awesome. Let's do it. Sounds fun.

• 2:49Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah. So Brian, I would love for you just to give us kind of a big picture explanation. What is the Immortal?

• 2:54Speaker 01

So it's a chamber. So we call it the Immortal Chamber. And we use the word chamber because there's not a lot of good nouns out there to actually describe what it is. It's not, it looks kind of like a bed, but it's not. And so chamber felt like the best fit. And it is a machine that is focused on working on your cellular biology, upgrading and upleveling it, at the same time that it's working on your conscious mind and dropping your nervous system so that it's playing ball with you. So it's working on those three things. And all of that is inside of a beautiful vibroacoustic musical cocoon. So it's a lot of fun.

• 3:30Dr. Darshan Shah?

Right, right. It's definitely an incredible experience. And I love the idea of bringing multiple modalities together in one, like chamber-like device makes makes total sense. And so, you know, these modalities, they've been kind of in the, they've been separated, they've been available through different companies. And you decided to find like the perfect combination to put it into one experience, which I love. And it seems like those experiences are synergistic, like it's not a one plus one equals two. It's like a one plus one equals three or four now, right?

• 4:01Speaker 01

  Absolutely.

• 4:02Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, they work, they work very well together. And what, what led you to do this? Well, let's talk about what's your background? And how did that?

• 4:10Speaker 01

I am an industrial designer, engineer, entrepreneur. So this is my fifth business. Some of those went very well and one of those I smashed straight into a wall. But I've been doing this for over 35 years. A lot of consumer products in my background, a lot of product design in my background with really great teams, just like this team. None of this would happen without the amazing team that I've got here. My past, so originally I was in apparel. I've been in mobile tech. I've done medical laboratory healthcare quality improvement in India and Egypt. I've been in e-learning, been the entrepreneur residence for a couple of funds, doing a bunch of different companies. So a lot of, a lot of fun over the last several decades.

• 4:54Speaker 01

I feel like all of that was only so that I could do this company, which is all of those were really wonderful opportunities, working with wonderful people, but they weren't, they didn't feel like path, if that makes sense. They didn't feel like there was a very deep personal connection with what we were doing. I had a deep personal connection with who we were serving and my team I was working with. And so this, this company is kind of the, the perfect nexus of personal interest and mission, along with business skillsets. So I'm excited to be doing this. It's a lot of fun every day.

• 5:28Dr. Darshan Shah?

It's heavy hard to do to bring all these things together under in one device. And so I definitely need the engineering and then it looks beautiful too. So obviously product design is a big piece of this and also kind of the, the health and the longevity aspects of it all together. It takes a lot of work to do that. So let's talk about the experience. Like what does someone feel? How does it, can you verbally take us through how, what they're feeling and also what they're experiencing?

• 5:54Speaker 01

Sure. Well, you lay down, you press the button, you meet God and then the session ends.

• 6:00Dr. Darshan Shah?

  There you go.

• 6:01Speaker 01

Basically. So the the feeling is is in a single session, we have about ninety eight percent of people will indicate that they feel very grounded and calm. And a very large percentage, I'll call it eighty plus percent of that, also feel some sort of empowerment or energizing. You're getting both a calming feeling, but also feeling capable. So I call that the general feeling that most people get. It makes sense. That was the intent. And that's what the various energies and the hydrogen gas and the other things we can talk about are are all coming together and the conscious mind dropping out of thought into presence and the nervous system dropping into a space that I call lowering the threshold

• 6:43Speaker 01

for healing and getting to a space where your your body's chemistry and electrical system, everything else is is collaborative.

• 6:51Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 6:52Speaker 01

With the process of healing or energizing or whatever.

• 6:55Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah. Yeah, I feel like that that feeling that you described, the energized feeling combined with calm is almost the best way for me to explain that to people is a flow state almost, right? Where you feel like you can do anything, but you feel so relaxed and calm doing it.

• 7:12Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 7:12Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right?

• 7:12Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 7:13Dr. Darshan Shah?

And that that's kind of the feeling that I experienced after getting out of the Immortal Chamber as well. And I think most people kind of describe it that way. And there's other ways to describe it, obviously, but that's that's the most descriptive. And I think most people can kind of relate to that. And so the the treatment, let's call it a treatment, it lasts how many minutes?

• 7:29Speaker 01

The bread and butter, we have three different times, but the bread and butter time is twenty five minutes.

• 7:34Dr. Darshan Shah?

Got it. And what are the other times?

• 7:36Speaker 01

We have a fifty minute, double that time, and then we have a fifteen minute. The fifteen minute is, if it was your first session, I don't put people into a fifteen minute session, but we sell to a lot of places where people show up late. And so we wanted to be able to give them something and not mess the schedule up of the day. And it's also great as a as like a refresh for someone who's doing this three, four times a week. They can get a lot of benefit out of that fifteen minutes.

• 7:59Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 8:00Speaker 01

It's also good for somebody who's very good at just dropping down anyway, the master meditator or something like that, they can go right in and get some great value in that fifteen minutes. And then the fifty minute session is, we do have recovery and energize and these types of outcomes that you select. And so if you have a particularly difficult physical injury. A 50 minute session can be really nice. Or even if you have a difficult anxious moment, or some sort of psychological, emotional, psycho behavioral thing that you're dealing with. It could be a divorce, it could be whatever. That's a really wonderful way to have an extended moment, set the intention around that, finding a solution, and then sit and let your system, body, mind, nervous system,

• 8:44Speaker 01

you know, work for you to get to a better state.

• 8:47Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, okay. And during that time that you're in, either, you know, it sounds like 25 minutes, you said, is a minute in the medium session?

• 8:55Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 8:56Dr. Darshan Shah?

That's what I think we're doing mostly here at Next Health. I think some people do do a double session. In that 25 minutes, you get into this bed, right? And you are hearing, feeling, and experiencing what modalities?

• 9:10Speaker 01

So it's very much a felt experience. There's a lot of visual because of the light. There's a, but inside of that felt experience, we're kind of working on the opposite ends of the human being and then believing that everything in the middle is also getting dealt with. So if we can work on cellular biology, and I'm going to make a clear statement here that we are not a medical device. And so everything that I'm saying about the cellular biology side of this is related to the individual modalities that we're using. So we're leveraging very specific red and near infrared frequencies that have been tested many times. Same thing with the hydrogen gas that you're breathing. It's been tested many times. And so we're leveraging those studies.

• 9:54Speaker 01

And so what I'm, what I'm speaking to is what the studies say about each one of these technologies.

• 9:59Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 9:59Speaker 01

So the lights and the vibration and the molecular hydrogen, excuse me, the lights, the pulse electromagnetics, and the hydrogen gas come together. They have been shown to do many things. One thing that allows us to work collaboratively is the de-inflammation of the cell, the opening up of cell wall permeability, and then the removal of oxidative stress with the hydrogen gas through the lungs right into that now open cell.

• 10:28Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 10:29Speaker 01

And so that was the reason for pulling those together, the primary reason. There are many reasons why each of those technologies has other benefits in the body. But if we could do that, we consider that like a cellular performance upgrade.

• 10:41Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 10:41Speaker 01

Within minutes, especially if I can drop the nervous system into at least into the parasympathetic, so out of fight or flight, get away from the adrenaline and the cortisol, and into things that are hopefully, you know, beautiful chemistry in the body, but at least chemistry that's not not serving you. And then in that state, we call it lowering the threshold for healing, like I mentioned, which allows, you know, I'm going to put air quotes around this, but it makes everything more bioavailable.

• 11:09Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 11:09Speaker 01

Because you're not in competition for resources.

• 11:12Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yep.

• 11:13Speaker 01

If we can drop the conscious mind out of worrying about tomorrow, or angry about yesterday, or really any thought, getting rid of the noisy roommate of the conscious mind, the ego, out of, out of the brain, get you into that four hertz theta state in and out of awareness, even better. We have that even more collaborative, full ecosystem of the being that you are, towards whatever the outcome that you, you wanted to select.

• 11:38Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 11:38Speaker 01

And then on the, on the, on the other side of it, so on the conscious minds, we were talking about the vibroacoustics, or excuse me, we're talking about the cellular biology. On the other side is vibroacoustics, there's spoken guidance, breath work, meditation, intention setting, and then music. And those are all working on the conscious mind side of this. So if we can, again, use those to get the nervous system and the conscious mind down, along with that cellular biology at the same time, it's, I'll call this, and this is a little bit esoteric, but the body as a speaker microphone. The brain and the heart as antennas to the conscious mind, if we're working on all those things together, it puts you into this magical space, so magical that some people

• 12:22Speaker 01

have out of body experiences. So they have, I call it an opportunity for a transcendent moment. And so it may be that our NFL customers and our major league baseball customers and so on are not necessarily looking for that. They're looking for on field performance and they're looking to recover after the, after the game. It's still that same sweet spot to make those things happen as well.

• 12:43Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, yeah, it's so incredible. So I want to highlight a few things that you mentioned there because it's incredibly important, even if you don't have access to an immortal chamber, for people to understand, is that at a cellular level, we can affect change. And there's a lot of different ways that we can do that. But a lot of times, our brain and the monkey mind get in the way of all of this, right? And so we know this because even from my medical background, doing surgery, treating cancer patients, right? When someone is constantly in a state of flight or fright, when they're sympathetically stimulated, when their brain is just in complete control of every cell in their body in a way that does

• 13:28Dr. Darshan Shah?

not allow them, does not allow the cells to function optimally, no matter what you do, it's very hard to heal. Whether you're trying to heal from a surgical procedure, whether you're trying to beat cancer, whether you've just had a heart attack, when you are in that sympathetic state, you're, it basically tells every cell in your body to stop what you're doing. We just need to get out of this danger zone.

• 13:52Speaker 01

Absolutely. It's like, it's like, I need quick twitch muscles. I need you to be alert. I need your brain processing prefrontal cortex. None of that is sending out the right chemistry. And if it has any kind of anxiety or fear built into it, then you're squirting bacteria, squirting chemicals into the body, doing again, things that are not supportive of that process. So beautifully said.

• 14:11Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah. And unfortunately, in our modern time, we live much more in a sympathetic reactivated state, flight or fright during the day that You know, like, we never, evolutionarily speaking, we were never built to live like this, right? I mean, if you look at even like our caveman ancestors, they wandered around for hours and hours just looking for something to eat. And then when the sun went down, it's time to go to bed, you can't see anything, right? You woke up and the same sun came up and you did it again. And really, that sympathetic state only got activated if there was a predator or you were running low on food. I mean, those are really, or the temperature was changing, right? It was really those things that caused that activation.

• 14:53Dr. Darshan Shah?

So this would happen seasonally, or it would happen like very short bursts and you'd run away.

• 14:58Speaker 01

And it's beautiful for those moments, you know, fundamentally necessary, just like your ego is necessary in those same moments to be protective. But horrible if you're trying to heal, recover, restore, relax, even to energize.

• 15:14Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Exactly.

• 15:14Speaker 01

It's better to take you down, calm, clear, reset, and then bring you back up.

• 15:20Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, it's really two different kinds of energy. There's energy that is there for emergency situations where you're, you know, where you're ready to face death. That's a different type of energy than the type of energy is that you need to get productive work done, to win a football game, to, you know, create, write a book. It's a different type of energy. And so, you know, your body, your cells realize what state of energy it needs to be in. Either the I'm frightened, I'm gonna die energy, or the, or the, you know, creative, beautiful energy that we want to live in throughout the day.

• 15:55Speaker 01

And in the modern world, with, in all the anxiety from all of our technology, right? The social media and all the things that we know without diving into that makes this even worse. Our systems were never designed for this. We've had this asymptotic change and you add this into, it's, you have to be productive every second and get this done and that done and this done and magnify all these together. And everything is pretty much off all the time. We make an assumption that every human being, even if they come in and they look as zen as possible, they're probably pumping too much cortisol and adrenaline, probably. They're living a life that's, that's Not in, you know, not based on ancient tribal practices, right, of of connection and

• 16:36Speaker 01

family and community and all these things that we know in the blue zones are super important. A sense of purpose, a sense of self-identity, the kind of the social contract of today is destroying the body and the social contract that we were designed for is gone.

• 16:52Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 16:53Speaker 01

  Unless you seek it out.

• 16:54Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, it's so, it's so true and really sad. We just did an episode on loneliness and how much it's really affecting our biology and it's, you know, being lonely is worse than smoking 15 cigarettes a day as far as your longevity is concerned. And so it's a, it's a huge part of the problem. And I think it is basically is like what type of energy you're putting out there. And for me, the kind of the mechanism of this is when you're lonely and when you're alone, you don't feel safe, right? When you're alone, you don't feel safety for the most part. And so, um, safety, you know, humans are wired for safety based on the number of people in the tribe, right? And how long, how well you get along with that tribe.

• 17:32Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 17:33Dr. Darshan Shah?

And that's where these, these kind of points connect.

• 17:35Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah. And just, yeah, and the separation of like a parent or a mother without the, the, the community to help raise the child and so on. It adds all these layered stresses on. So this, the combination of all those things together, it's, it's amazing we're still functioning.

• 17:50Dr. Darshan Shah?

Right, absolutely. So, you know, I, I think about just the people listening to this podcast and many people are probably saying to themselves, yeah, I feel that way all day long. Like I'm, I'm constantly like trying to figure out how I'm not going to die either financially or on the way home from, you know, driving from work to home or like within my relationship with my family. And we, we feel like we live in this stress ball kind of a state. What are some pieces of advice that you can give people to kind of, you know, get away from that modality all day long?

• 18:24Speaker 01

The, the chamber is, so I'll, I'll give some, uh, something to do here that has nothing to do with the chamber, but I'm going to use the chamber as a backdrop for the conversation. So the, um, you know, the chamber is really you reconnecting with the sun, reconnecting with the earth and reconnecting with life, nature. So the Japanese would call that forest bathing.

• 18:46Speaker 01

Both the earth and the and the life is such a beautiful concept. But we get so much regulation to the body and so much ability to process, even create, simply by being in nature. And everyone that hikes and does that knows this. But most people are disconnected from that. We're wearing our rubber shoes and separating ourselves from the earth's magnetic field. We hide from the sun because we live a long time and don't die early from getting eaten by a lion. So we have different considerations and a relationship with the sun, but the sun is fundamental. And so I was talking to somebody and they said, well, if I don't have $160,000 for a chamber, or I don't have access to a location that has this, what do I do? And my, my advice is always the same. It's, you know, you need about 10 minutes.

• 19:30Speaker 01

Go outside. Hopefully it's a sunny day. Then hopefully you can take your shirt off. Take your shirt off, stand in the sun for about 10 minutes, close your eyes, breathe, you know, any kind of breathing practice you have that slows down your breath. I recommend if you can get to like a nice six second in and out through the nose, the belly, expand and release and do that for about 10 minutes. When you're towards the end of that and you're really feeling a state change in that moment, then it's to, to remember everyone that you feel like harmed you last week and send them unconditional love and forgiveness. And if you can release all the mental toxins and just that breathing and that sunlight, I forgot to say, take your shoes off and

• 20:12Speaker 01

bury your feet in the soil. If you can find a little, some water or a pool or something like that, get into the water, it transmits even better. 10 minutes, full system reset, and you can go back in and, and do what you were doing.

• 20:23Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, that's, that's a great kind of protocol that people can use to, first of all, I think really great to do that first thing in the morning when the sun first comes out, you know, if you can get out there, it could happen, right? Exactly. And then multiple times throughout the day, right? A lot of people probably get a lunch break.

• 20:40Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 20:40Dr. Darshan Shah?

Go outside for that lunch break. If the weather's good and take your shoes off and put your feet on the ground. It might not be great to do that inside of a fancy restaurant, but if you can sit outside and make that happen, that's a really good idea. And put your phone away, take a few deep breaths. Before eating your meal and if you can do that every meal, how incredible would that be? Right? And maybe a couple of other times during the day.

• 21:02Speaker 01

If you're doing it after a meal, you know, turn that standing into walking,

• 21:06Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 21:06Speaker 01

Barefoot shirt off. And then if if you're gonna walk, because you want your eyes open, look out into the distance. Don't look down. Very different impact on the mind.

• 21:15Dr. Darshan Shah?

Exactly. And you know, there's some ways now that we can track the state of your sympathetic nervous system and your parasympathetic nervous system, the balance between the two. And that method is called HRV measurements that we now have on our wearable devices. Can you talk a little bit about HRV? Do you do you like that metric? And are there other metrics?

• 21:33Speaker 01

I do. And I actually think there are others that I believe that in combination, there's correlative value coming out of them. But HRV is a magic measurement. And it is, I think we're just barely scratching the surface.

• 21:46Dr. Darshan Shah?

  For sure.

• 21:46Speaker 01

When we get more and more and more granularity, HRV, HRS, and start diving and diving and diving, I think we're gonna see it's kind of a not just something that we can measure and get understanding from, but something that we can make fine tuning changes to and have outsized outcomes, impacts from that.

• 22:05Dr. Darshan Shah?

Mm hmm. Absolutely. I think we're just scratching the surface of HRV. And unfortunately, the reason for that is there's no pharmaceutical medication that's going to change your HRV. And so we have not spent hundreds of millions of dollars at looking at this metric. We spent hundreds and probably billions of dollars looking at blood pressure. Why?

• 22:25Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 22:25Dr. Darshan Shah?

We have blood pressure medications, right? And so unfortunately, HRV has not been at the top of everyone's list of things. It's not considered a vital sign until just recently. When people can self measure it. So I'm just like you, I'm really excited for the future of HRV. And we're having some HRV experts on this podcast. Are you familiar with heart math?

• 22:44Speaker 01

  Oh, yeah.

• 22:45Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 22:45Speaker 01

  Wonderful people.

• 22:46Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 22:46Speaker 01

And I feel like, again, heart math and everybody involved in that. They're coming from a state of a desire for human vibrancy.

• 22:55Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 22:56Speaker 01

Like there, there, there's a, there's a love driven effort that they're putting in place. And everything they do, I feel like is, is serving.

• 23:03Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, I agree. And some of the research on heart math, and these guys have been doing this for decades now.

• 23:08Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 23:08Dr. Darshan Shah?

It's really mind blowing and it seemed woo woo initially, but now that we know more about quantum states and how we're all connected. You know, you can affect the heart, the heart rate variability of someone that you're thinking about that might be on the other side of the world. Just by you changing your heart rate variability.

• 23:25Speaker 01

Which is, if you sit back from that, which is just one of the most important truths. I joke, I joke, I'll pull in the placebo effect. It's all connected, right? So the placebo effect feels like a name given to mock something.

• 23:39Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yes, it does.

• 23:40Speaker 01

That is just taking away the economic viability of what someone wants to do in multiple industries. And so there's a, I joke and said that the placebo effect is a big pink elephant on your shoulder. And every once in a while it leans in and it says, hey, do you want to remember that your mind is in charge of your body? No? Okay, I'll wait. And it just keeps coming back and it's, it's proven over and over again to be the most important thing.

• 24:05Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 24:06Speaker 01

And so as you're, as you're mentioning, and you can do this not only within your own body, but make connections through the quantum field with others. It is straight up science. It sounds esoteric and woo woo, but it's not. One of the most important tools. So we actually leverage that as well. It's really important that things that are quote unquote, science, because certain industries indicate that they are. And there's been plenty of testing around that, along with things that ancient wisdom, eastern philosophy and et cetera, have been telling us for a long time. And the proof cases are everywhere that we can't ignore that.

• 24:41Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 24:41Speaker 01

It'd be irresponsible to not pay attention to that. And so one of the things we do in the chamber is ask you to set an intention. We call it an intention of meaning and some ways to do that for anyone that's looking to do this at home. You can do it in front of any piece of equipment, by the way. In fact, in front of any moment. And that is to visual, or excuse me, verbalize. The intention and not in a future casted way, so not I want, I wish, I will, I need that future casts in the quantum space. When you do that, you are future casting it forever. It'll never be in the present.

• 25:12Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 25:13Speaker 01

So you say, I am, it is, it was, it already occurred. So you verbalize that I am joy filled. If you're sad, right? I am overflowing with joy even better. Right? Then you visualize, what is that? What does that mean to you? Is it you dancing? Is it whatever it is? And then you feel it viscerally. So you have to step into the feeling of that. What does it feel like now that I am that? If you do that, go into the chamber, go into a sauna, go into whatever, all of the benefits are magnified because your, your quantum entanglement with the mind into the body is maximized.

• 25:47Dr. Darshan Shah?

Absolutely. The people that master this skill, that can really lean into bringing that feeling into the present. I mean, I've had so many guests on here talking about manifestation and, and how these things are tied together. You really do bring those thoughts into your life. Right? And

• 26:04Speaker 01

  Absolutely.

• 26:06Dr. Darshan Shah?

And this is where people get like, oh, that's really just out there, but it's not. I mean, this is, we're seeing evidence of this in the quantum research every single day.

• 26:14Speaker 01

  Absolutely.

• 26:14Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Now, for sure.

• 26:15Speaker 01

Even just biologically, like if, if I have a moment of anger, a second, a moment of anger, biologically, the bacteria in my gut is reacting instantaneously and sending chemicals that are not really what I want to feel.

• 26:29Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 26:30Speaker 01

And so that's just on the biology side. It's every other layer all the way up into the most esoteric. Yeah.

• 26:36Dr. Darshan Shah?

Right. Exactly. And so we don't know the mechanisms. We don't know the mechanisms, how that moment of anger turn into higher levels of bacterial contamination in your bloodstream, but we know it's true. Right? And it could be a quantum effect. It could be hormones. It could be cortisol causing leaky gut, but, but it is absolutely true that people that live in a state of anger or flight or, you know, sympathetic activation, right?

• 27:00Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 27:01Dr. Darshan Shah?

They do have more LPS or bacteria in their bloodstream. And so these two things are definitely related. And even though we don't know the exact mechanisms, the, the truth is that the more time you spend in a state of joy and a state of happiness, the healthier you're going to be. Right? And we see this, we see this in massive studies that have been done in big population groups all the time.

• 27:23Speaker 01

  Yeah, absolutely.

• 27:27Dr. Darshan Shah?

This episode is brought to you by Momentous. So as a doctor, one of the questions everyone always asks me is what supplement should I really be taking? And honestly, before you even pick what's the right supplements for your body, you always need to think about whether you can trust the brand that you're buying or not. Here's what most people don't really take into consideration. The supplement industry is barely regulated. Brands don't have to fully disclose every ingredient in their formulas, and most products are never tested for purity or accuracy. That means a lot of the products that you buy online, you're not actually getting what's on the label. And that's absolutely not acceptable. And it shouldn't be acceptable to you either. That's why I partnered with Momentous.

• 28:11Dr. Darshan Shah?

Momentus is a brand I really believe in. Why? Because they created their own standard, which exceeds what the industry normally talks about. The Momentous standard means they source the highest quality ingredients, they use clinically validated formulations, and they test every single product and every single batch. Every Momentous product is also certified by NSF for Sport. This is a gold standard of third-party testing. It checks for contaminants, heavy metals, banned substances, and verifies what's on the label is exactly what is actually in the product. And they publish those test results directly on their website, so you can see it for yourself. You'll see there's no unnecessary fillers, there's no artificial additives.

• 28:56Dr. Darshan Shah?

So you don't have to guess if your product is high quality or not. You know it is when you pick Momentous. If you're going to invest in your health, trust the supplements you're taking. And Momentous is built on trust. Go to livemomentous.com And use the code DRSHAW for up to 35% off your next order.

• 29:15Dr. Darshan Shah?

Okay, I want to talk more about now vibration and how this ties into this, because this is a big modality in your device. So can you give us some of the science behind the vibration part of this?

• 29:27Speaker 01

So I was talking about Japanese, yeah, I was talking about Japanese forest bathing.

• 29:31Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 29:32Speaker 01

So there are, everything is frequency and energy vibration, everything. In fact, there really isn't anything here. This is mostly hologram. It's push-pull forces and reflected light, right? And so, and any physicist, especially particle physicist, would talk about this. We see it as, as very real and very solid, and it is in, in the game that we're playing. But much more importantly is to recognize that there's a little teeny proton and an electron of insignificant size with a bunch of space. And that we're really energy.

• 30:05Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 30:06Speaker 01

We're really just nothing but energy. We're vibration and frequency. And so is everything else. And so using vibroacoustics, vibrating and listening to, and we, and light is just another set of frequencies, but specifically around the vibroacoustics, we can engage the body in a, in a very different way, and we can even engage the mind, the conscious mind. In my world, and without pushing truths, the conscious mind is not in the body. The brain and the heart are antennas, along with some other synaptic connections in the body. The consciousness is the player. This is the avatar. And the avatar is directly impacted by vibration in multiple different ways. It impacts the nervous system. It impacts your ability to release unserving thought.

• 30:50Speaker 01

And it impacts, it can shake things free. It can, it can impact, there's, there are, you know, all kinds of vibration plates that you can get on. There's all types of uses from the biology to the conscious mind where vibroacoustics is very serving. It's also helpful in our bed, in our, in our chamber, because our bed is acrylic. It's a hard piece of plastic that you're laying on. We put it at, at this very specific angles. Thank you NASA, the NASA zero-gravity angle design. And it works for a 48 to 68 body. But when you, when you vibrate it. Especially with certain resonance and dissonance patterns.

• 31:30Speaker 01

It feels like you're floating on a cloud because you have perfect back, hip and knee bend. And it's moving with these vibrations and it makes you feel like you're on something soft.

• 31:40Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 31:41Speaker 01

So it's got a, an amazing ability to allow you to relax and, and kind of forget where you are. So we're using it biologically, psycho behaviorally, emotionally, and to just create comfort in the experience. Cause we want it to be enjoyable.

• 31:56Dr. Darshan Shah?

I love that. And, um, you know, I had a podcast guest on here, Dr. Dave Raben. Do you know who he is?

• 32:02Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 32:03Dr. Darshan Shah?

He has the, um, the Apollo neuroscience device. And he made it so that people can actually get some of the benefit of vibration in a wearable device.

• 32:13Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 32:14Dr. Darshan Shah?

It's really does impact HRV as a, as a trackable metric, but also how people feel.

• 32:19Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 32:19Dr. Darshan Shah?

And so these, these kind of go, go very well together.

• 32:22Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 32:22Dr. Darshan Shah?

Um, now if someone doesn't have access to a bed or to a Apollo device, how can they simulate this in their own lives? Are there other things that they can do around vibration?

• 32:34Speaker 01

Well, you know, I would recommend going out into nature.

• 32:36Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 32:36Speaker 01

But in any kind of, um, if you're near water, body of water, you know, oceans and rivers and things like that. And engaging with water, you're going to get all kinds of incredible feedback. And just walking through nature, these are very subtle. You'd be walking through nature and you're like, am I getting vibroacoustics? You are.

• 32:53Dr. Darshan Shah?

  You are.

• 32:53Speaker 01

You're getting all kinds of feedback and communication and things that are, that are helping a lot with the nervous system. But, but even, even a lot with the, with biology. And I, there's, there are products out there. I think there's gaming vests that you can buy that are vibroacoustic. Uh, there's a brand called Woojer that actually makes just a vibroacoustic puck that you can put onto your body and connect to your headphones. And taking any music that you love, well, let me rephrase that. I wouldn't recommend some sort of, you know, acid hardcore or anything. It creates dissonance in the body? Listen to that and anyway, discussion for another day. But if you have music that you would consider beautiful and serving and it already calms you down

• 33:38Speaker 01

and you can take the low tones and vibrate them into the body at the same time with a product like that, magic.

• 33:44Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, and there's certain songs, I can't remember the name of them, certain musical pieces that were built specifically for vibroacoustic patterns and changes as well.

• 33:54Speaker 01

And you can find a lot of that online.

• 33:56Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, exactly, on YouTube. And I think, I think even if you don't have one of these devices, just listening to it on a speaker and being in a relaxed state, lying down, can simulate some of the same benefits. So yeah, I want people to know that you don't have to have an Immortal Chamber to get the benefits of what we're talking about today. But the science is, the science that you built Immortal Chamber on is grounded in a lot of different modalities that people can experience at home for very cheaply as well. So everyone can have access to the science here.

• 34:27Speaker 01

Absolutely, yeah. We're integrating them in a way that compounds across the effectiveness of these things and you're working on all of the systems of the body at the same time. But taking any of these things and doing any one of them is fantastic.

• 34:41Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Exactly.

• 34:41Speaker 01

And even, even just headphones, you're bringing things in, you're impacting vagus nerve and other things, you know, by, by, just by proxy here. And so a good set of headphones that has a, has a good resonance to it is creating vibration into the body.

• 34:57Dr. Darshan Shah?

There's a new set of headphones too that have the ability to vibrate right on your vagus nerve as well. And so that's, that's interesting tech that's also coming out. There's a lot of vagus nerve stimulators out there. Some, most of them don't work, some of them work really well, actually. And I think that's another way to get some of the same effect. Can you give us just a quick primer on the vagus nerve from your standpoint and what that is and why that's important?

• 35:21Speaker 01

I mean, this is a master, master circuit, right? This is, this is, yeah, I mean, you know, all the way down to the bottom, all the way up to the top, and it splits, it's, it's interesting in the esoteric space, it's, it's duality in the legs going into unity in a more, you know, boots on the ground type of way. It's just, it's a master signaling, master control, without diving into kind of science side of that, which I believe you would do better than I, but I call it one of the most important things to understand, one of the most important things to leverage.

• 35:57Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 35:58Speaker 01

Yeah, and there are some really good products coming out. I'm so encouraged, like, this topic specifically, just vagus nerve. The things that are coming out, that are, they really work, they really work, and the price points are reasonable, and with AI finding causality with these things, and driving things down to root cause, and understanding the impact of some of these inexpensive, very powerful technologies that you can carry around with you, it's really exciting. I feel like we're just a few years away from a basic set of tools. Let's call it, you spend a thousand dollars and you get this travel kit, and it allows you to do many, many different things, no matter where you are. So it's pretty exciting.

• 36:39Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, and just to highlight, you know, the reason we don't know a lot about the vagus nerve at all in this moment in time, compared to what we should know about it, is because, once again, there was no money to be made off of anything affecting the vagus nerve, other than, you know, lifestyle practices, right? And so it was, it's really been understudied. I always tell the story on this podcast, as a general surgeon, I would cut the vagus nerve, because that was the treatment, that was the accepted treatment for gastric ulcers. You just cut the vagus nerve and split it. And I can't imagine the number of people that have had their vagus nerve cut, and how they got through life, later in life, and there's now studies on that, you know, people that have had this surgery called a vagotomy, which was accepted treatment back then, and

• 37:22Dr. Darshan Shah?

now we don't do it at all, because we realize, like, the vagus nerve actually has an extremely important function, not just with your gut, but also, like you said, every cell is selling your body.

• 37:32Speaker 01

  Connecting everything, yeah.

• 37:33Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Exactly.

• 37:33Speaker 01

It's connecting, reading, and influencing everything.

• 37:36Dr. Darshan Shah?

It absolutely is. You know, we think that we live up here in our brain, right? But the way our brain communicates with the rest of us is through this one nerve.

• 37:45Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 37:46Dr. Darshan Shah?

And it's really important for us to respect it, learn more about it, do more research around it. Like you said, like find modalities and how we can affect it directly.

• 37:54Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 37:55Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah. Okay, so we've talked about the parasympathetic sympathetic balance. We've talked about how our brain gets in the way of healing. Once we've used some of these modalities, vibration and meditation and breath work and going out in nature and getting in an immortal chamber, and we've got our brain out of the way, we figured out how to do that.

• 38:17Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 38:18Dr. Darshan Shah?

Now we can open up the cells to healing. And there's some modalities that we know through science, such as light therapy, right? Light affects our cells. We know light affects the mitochondria of every single cell.

• 38:30Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 38:30Dr. Darshan Shah?

And there's other ways light can affect the cell. Hydrogen, right? And oxidative stress. We need to dive into that a little bit some more too.

• 38:38Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 38:38Dr. Darshan Shah?

And then lastly, what was the third modality that you have? Hydrogen?

• 38:42Speaker 01

  PMF.

• 38:42Dr. Darshan Shah?

  P E M F, electromagnetic frequencies.

• 38:45Speaker 01

Pulse electrostatic fields, slightly different reasons.

• 38:48Dr. Darshan Shah?

Okay, let's use, let's talk about those four modalities. Let's start with light. Talk about how light affects the cell and specifically, what does the science tell us around what wavelengths of light and what types of light affect our cell?

• 39:01Speaker 01

So it's interesting, there's, you know, light, all light is impacting the body.

• 39:06Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 39:06Speaker 01

The sun has the full spectrum and outside of UV, which has its purpose as well, but too much of that obviously can create issues for us. But every other color has an impact. Some of them charge up like a blue.

• 39:23Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Mm hmm.

• 39:23Speaker 01

Some of them impact other systems, the greens, the oranges, the purples and so on. Red light's the most studied. I believe it's the most studied. It has a significant benefit on the body, but I believe it's the most studied because it's the easiest power to elimination curve.

• 39:39Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 39:40Speaker 01

And so because it's the easiest to make at a high intensity, it came out along with near infrared, which is right off of that. So near infrared being an invisible spectrum. And there's an enormous band of the sun. I think it's, please don't, this may be wrong, but I think it's a third of the sun's frequencies are in this near infrared space, enormous space. And so there's a lot of internal things and near infrared penetrates better than red and penetrates some of the, than some of the other colors. So it gets a little bit deeper into the body. I would say that there's a lot of studies. The industry is very focused on the intensity of the light, a lot of studies. And I feel like that's the case. I think we're living in a moment in here where it's maximum

• 40:22Speaker 01

cold, maximum heat, maximum light, maximum whatever, whatever it is.

• 40:27Dr. Darshan Shah?

  More must be better, right?

• 40:28Speaker 01

More must be better, more, more, more, more, more. And, and it's tough to, the tough, because of the granularity of some of these studies, to say that that's off or is right or wrong. And I, and I think of your, a product company and you're making a product that makes one of these things, that's how you're probably going to compare yourself, right?

• 40:45Dr. Darshan Shah?

  For sure.

• 40:46Speaker 01

And so even though there are studies that indicates that, you know, much less than what some of the light beds, for instance, are doing, provides incredible therapeutic value to the body. And so I think there's, and I won't remember them all, but there's 20 some things that red light photobiomodulation is doing to the body that has been studied.

• 41:05Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Wow.

• 41:05Speaker 01

Some of those have 100 studies and some of those have five. And there's some studies that say that near infrared light penetrates very deeply into the body and others say it doesn't matter. It just needs to get into the blood. Right? So I don't know. I believe in 10 years, again, AI helping us with causality will figure this out. But we're primarily using it for its de-inflammation impact on mitochondria. Those two things in particular are fundamental for everybody. And then we're using the, the, is it okay if I go to the electromagnetics?

• 41:37Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yes, please, yeah.

• 41:38Speaker 01

And so the electromagnetics for us is, is it does a lot of things. It'll heal bones. There's a bunch of studies on it. Different frequencies do different things better.

• 41:47Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 41:47Speaker 01

But pulsing electromagnetic fields have a, have a fantastic impact on the body. And we're primarily using that for its impact on the cell wall. So cell wall permeability. So we all run around, especially in this country, disconnected from the electromagnetic fields of the earth. I believe it's zero to 50 megahertz from the earth to the ionosphere. And then it could go up to 300 megahertz. But all the gigahertz stuff that we get from our cell phones and all that are artificial and way above nothing natural. And that's why they have a negative impact on the body. But in that healthy range, let's call it this zero to 50 megahertz that, you know, when we ran around naked in the woods, we would connect it to the earth. We had these things, you know, coming through our system.

• 42:30Speaker 01

And I like to believe that our system would pick and choose appropriately. I need that frequency? I don't. I'll let that one go through. And so we're trying to provide a low power behind a broad spectrum of those frequencies into the body, much like what we believe nature is doing.

• 42:47Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Got it.

• 42:47Speaker 01

And so with that, there are studies around pulse electromagnetics influencing cell wall permeability, which is a voltage change. And so we have a very small voltage on the cell and we are putting in, but we're maybe operating at 60, 70% of what the cell wall's voltage, optimal voltage should be. So we're running around in this world, especially in this country like that. By putting a good PMF field at the right frequency across the, the cell, it opens it up, kind of like a baseball to a wiffle ball. And that wiffle ball means things get in and out easier.

• 43:19Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 43:20Speaker 01

And so if I can de-inflame with light, open up that wiffle ball, then put the molecular hydrogen through the canula, right into the lungs, right into the bloodstream, it's an antioxidant. It's the smallest molecule antioxidant. H2 loves to dance with O. And so it tends to take out oxidative stress in the cell, aging processes and these things, especially when that cell is in a state of Receiver ship.

• 43:43Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 43:43Speaker 01

For that thing. So again, loosely air quotes, more bioavailable to get into the cell.

• 43:47Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Sure, sure.

• 43:48Speaker 01

And so that combination, if you're four or you're 96, or you're anxious, or you're not, or you're a professional football player, an F1 driver, or of whatever, stay at home dad, it doesn't matter. Everybody needs that.

• 44:03Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 44:04Speaker 01

Those things. And so we designed those to work and up level everybody. And that's why those three things are brought together.

• 44:11Dr. Darshan Shah?

Got it. Yeah. I think, you know, some of the studies around red light, like you said, you know, you need to get to the blood vessel. I think you do need, every cell benefits from red light, but the blood vessel specifically releases nitric oxide gas.

• 44:24Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 44:25Dr. Darshan Shah?

Which then improves circulation and vascular permeability into the organs as well. So that's one major mechanism of action. And we know that because we can study that. The other thing that we can study is collagen synthesis. And so red light's helped with collagen synthesis. We know that as well. There's lots of great studies around that. But that doesn't mean those are the only effects. There's many, like you said, 20 something effects. I'd love to get a list of those on my website as well, because I think that's something to look at. But I think, you know, the red light is core and critical to some of the modalities that we provide here at Nexel. But in addition, like people, like you said, can buy red light panels and things for their home. And then it's also in the Immortal Device as well.

• 45:05Speaker 01

Yeah. And this kind of, those things come together, like red light is a look, feel and perform.

• 45:10Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yes.

• 45:11Speaker 01

  Type of thing.

• 45:12Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 45:12Speaker 01

Which is, there aren't many of those.

• 45:15Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 45:15Speaker 01

And so it really does impact things. Like in the, in the chamber, to get the look of that, we would say that's something, something like three sessions a week for a month, you will look. Maybe three, four sessions in a 10 day period, you'll start to perform differently. Some people do it in one session and you will feel very differently in one.

• 45:34Dr. Darshan Shah?

Got it. Got it. As good to know. The electromagnetic, the PEMF, right? That's been used a lot in like recovery, especially with athletes, right? They, anytime they injure themselves, one of the first things they do is put a PEMF device on the site of injury. And so there's a lot of research around that.

• 45:53Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 45:53Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 45:54Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 45:54Dr. Darshan Shah?

And you have a lot of athletes that use the device, right? I mean, this is where.

• 45:57Speaker 01

We have about, we have chambers in about half the NFL, half the MLB. We're doing several of them a month into teams. Quarterbacks are getting them in their houses, pitchers, coaches. And then we're going to be going into F1, tennis, golf, NHL, NBA.

• 46:13Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 46:14Speaker 01

Cause it's a, it's a wonderful device that is fast. And again, works on all these different things. All professional athletes need to calm down.

• 46:22Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 46:23Speaker 01

All professional athletes, especially you get a football player that's after a game, probably playing video games till two o'clock in the morning because he's wired.

• 46:31Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Right.

• 46:32Speaker 01

And a lot of athletes are like that. And so just getting their nervous system to calm down is a very infrequent thing with a lot of professional athletes. And their mind, their egoic mind is telling them that they need to be on all the time. And so that works really well. Getting their conscious mind to not be angry at the missed pass or whatever it was that just happened and not be worried about the game that's part of the playoffs the next day, also super important. And then of course, there's a lot of physical injury. And so we can, we can work on all those things at the same time. And again, in that way that it makes the chemistry and the, and the quantum connected aspects of this all work together.

• 47:10Dr. Darshan Shah?

Right. I just saw the big New York Times article about athletes. Now they recover and kind of gives them almost a superpower and really up levels their game to where athletes are performing now like they never have in history. Right? And, and they're not doing anything other than what they've really added into their routines now is recovery.

• 47:26Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 47:27Dr. Darshan Shah?

And understanding active recovery is just as important as the active.

• 47:30Speaker 01

  Difference.

• 47:30Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah. Being in the gym and working out. And I think this is really where you see athletes performing like they never have before.

• 47:37Speaker 01

Yeah. Yeah. And athletes have a sixth sense, like we'll go in and we'll talk to our trainer and they're like, okay, show me the data for this, this and this. We're like, okay. And you go into an athlete, they use it once and they're like, yeah, that works.

• 47:47Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 47:48Speaker 01

I'll take it. Get more of those.

• 47:50Dr. Darshan Shah?

They know their bodies very well. I mean, they're really in tune to their cells. And then lastly, the molecular hydrogen and the concept of antioxidants. I think it's just something that we should highlight on as well. The mechanism here, just to make it super simple for people, is that when your cells are making energy, they release what's called free radicals, right? It's kind of like if you put coal into an engine and the engine burns and moves the train forward, there's smoke created and these oxidants are like smoke. And if you let them pile up without opening the windows, then it can cause damage to the cells. And this is why cells tend to undergo oxidative stress is what the scientific word is. But basically the cell is burning up from the inside, right?

• 48:35Dr. Darshan Shah?

And so having the ability to have antioxidants, which there's many different kinds, there's vitamin C, there's glutathione, and now hydrogen is a gaseous form of antioxidant that you can get into your system. And much better when the cells are open.

• 48:49Speaker 01

Absolutely. And taken as a pill in water that dissolves in water. You can buy hydrogen tablets out there as well. The hydrogen gas is faster, better for what we're doing. But I always recommend to everybody, like, take hydrogen H2 pill in a glass of water every single day. It's a really simple, inexpensive way to do good things to the body.

• 49:09Dr. Darshan Shah?

Right, right. And then now the cells are open, they're taking in the hydrogen, they're healing from the inside, basically. And then how can normal people do this as well? You can get a hydrogen tablets and they're available all over the place now.

• 49:25Speaker 01

Somewhere between 75 cents and a buck 50 a day and you're doing good things to the body.

• 49:28Dr. Darshan Shah?

Exactly. So people can also do this at home as well. And getting red light, you know, it's free if you just go out into the sun too.

• 49:35Speaker 01

There is, you were mentioning earlier really perfectly that, you know, getting out of watching the rising sun at that moment. The benefit that it does through the eyes is it heals your eyes. You know, if you wear glasses and so on, it's a much better thing. But it's doing so many things. Getting your, you know, biorhythmic processes going and getting into place and transitioning from sleep, changing chemistry. Not only that, but you know, the, the, the meditative quality of sunrise and sunset is so, so fantastic. So if your 10 minutes happened to be then, and then you did 10 minutes later in the day, I've watched people who are suffering from all kinds of things, and I won't get into a medical conversation on cures or healing or anything, but I've watched people with

• 50:20Speaker 01

significant pain-based chronic disease, significant other chronic disease, and then they did nothing more than then spent 20 minutes with their coffee, watching the sunrise.

• 50:29Dr. Darshan Shah?

Yeah, absolutely. That's what I do every morning.

• 50:31Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 50:32Dr. Darshan Shah?

It's my favorite part of the day.

• 50:33Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 50:34Dr. Darshan Shah?

And I will say too, you know, a lot of people ask about the red light glasses, right? The glasses you can wear that turn whatever light you have into more red. I think those could be beneficial. It's a signal to your brain that it's a certain time of day, maybe it's time to wind down at night and you get better sleep, but you do miss out on the benefits of actually getting the wavelength of light on your body.

• 50:55Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 50:55Dr. Darshan Shah?

And so it's still important, if you can, to actually get out of the house into nature and get the benefits of the actual wavelengths bath in your body, right?

• 51:05Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And, and you know, red light glasses and things like that, I think, you know, there is a good time of the day to do that. And also buying, if we're all in front of monitors all the time, and they have eye care monitors out there where you can adjust out the unnatural blue frequencies, along with more of the blue that is natural. If you're staring at that all day, you're, you're jacking up sympathetic and chemistry into, into places you don't want to be as well, especially if you're doing a stressful job at the same time on the same computer.

• 51:35Dr. Darshan Shah?

Right, exactly, exactly. Wow. Well, this has been a ton of science, a ton of practical applications of the incredible technology that you've developed. What are we missing and what's coming next?

• 51:50Speaker 01

Well, we are always innovating. And so we are going to, well, let me take a step back. So we are, our mission is human vibrancy. And so that's our term for when everything is just on, from I feel great to I feel on path, to I am connected with a supportive community and I am doing my part and they're doing their part. Body feels great in, in every possible way. My sleep is great. And so our, our, our goal is to continue to work on the all of those things. And through through technology and that gets that gets us into a lot of fun spaces. So we get to explore, you know, what can you do with fiber acoustics? I'll give you an example.

• 52:34Speaker 01

So we each have a an acoustic frequency or acoustic signature. Yours is different than everybody else's on the planet. So is mine. And those acoustic signatures are somewhere between 50 and 200 hertz. And there's this wonderful gentleman that we're connected with, Dr. Jeff Thompson, who's been working on this for a while. And he's figured out that if you can determine your frequency and he can get it down to decimal places and then apply that frequency, that tone, it's going to be a deep frequency because you're between 50 and 200 hertz. But imagine a is coming into your body and it's your specific tone. It can push you right into homeostasis.

• 53:12Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Wow.

• 53:13Speaker 01

In a few minutes. If you play octaves and harmonics of that tone, it starts to impact tissue types. And so we're playing with that. And so we're going to be adding an infinite number of new things constantly. We're going to be constantly upgrading how we're delivering it from a from a hardware standpoint. And very importantly, playing with many ways to engage you, to meet you. And so you may have something that you need to embrace and release psycho behaviorally. Fantastic. Let's create that perfect cocoon. And I, you know, this may sound like an athlete is going to be like, why would I need that? What do I need this for?

• 53:53Speaker 01

I was talking with the number three NASCAR driver and some F1 folks and Formula E folks. And and I was, I said, well, you need this just like anybody else. In fact, you need it more. And so imagine you're on racetrack X, right? And last time you were there, you had a near death accident at turn five. Like, so when you come up to that turn, what's happening to you? Right? They're like, oh, I'm I'm going right through it. I'm like, mm hmm. Yeah. There's a whole bunch of things going on in the emotions and the psychic behavioral state. And if you don't deal with the trauma of that and release it at the same time, you can do all the biological things you want after a time it's going to stack up and you're going to become a less qualified driver.

• 54:36Speaker 01

And so all of this stuff needs to be brought together. So we're experimenting with dissonance resonance patterns through the music and the vibration, many, many different types of guided things and psycho behavioral interaction and playing with that and measuring impact on the body by individual bodies. And we're gonna, we're gonna keep playing and upgrading and doing that. And we have other technologies we'll bring out as well.

• 55:00Dr. Darshan Shah?

Wow. So glad you're doing the work. Thank you so much for coming on the podcast and talking about all these modalities and what's coming in the future. It's an exciting time.

• 55:08Speaker 01

I very much appreciate being here. This is quite a bit of fun. And yeah, we're big fans of you and the impact that you're having in all the things that you're doing. So I appreciate you as well.

• 55:20Dr. Darshan Shah?

Thank you. Thank you so much. Where can people learn more about Immortal? And I know they can come to Next Health in West Hollywood. We have one here. We're installing them at our other locations. If anyone wants to try them. And then you also have a location finder on your website. Can you tell us where people can learn more?

• 55:33Speaker 01

We do. It's just Immortal. It's like the word immortal that would start with an I, but we start with an A, A M M O R T A L dot com. And there's a locations button at the bottom of the top of the website, and you can find a bunch of commercial spaces where we have this.

• 55:46Dr. Darshan Shah?

Fantastic. And where can people learn more from you?

• 55:49Speaker 01

They can reach out through the website. There's a way to contact me there. And I don't spend a lot of time personally sticking things out onto out. I've got my kind of head down doing this. But I'll say this, we are, I call us 100% collaborative.

• 56:07Dr. Darshan Shah?

  Yeah.

• 56:08Speaker 01

And so I will walk up, for instance, to somebody who I, who I have heard feels like I'm competing with them. And I'll go find the CEO, the head of product, CTO, whatever. And just, I just want to be, I don't want to, I have no desire to compete with them. And I don't feel like we're competing. I feel like, and I know you know this, the industry is at point 000001% of what it will be. I liken this to surfing. The wave is enormous. I can't see the end on either side. I can't see the shore. We're riding a longboard the size of a wall. There's plenty of room on the wave. There's plenty of room on my longboard. And so anybody that wants to collaborate with us towards human vibrancy, I welcome connecting with them.

• 56:50Dr. Darshan Shah?

That's fantastic. That's beautifully said. Thank you so much for joining us, Brian.

• 56:54Speaker 01

  Thank you. Thanks, Darshan.

• 56:59Dr. Darshan Shah?

Here are my top five learnings from the podcast with Brian Leggett. Number one, your mind directly controls your body. The placebo effect is not a myth, but a powerful demonstration that your conscious mind and intentions profoundly influence your physical health and healing processes. So, setting clear, present tense intentions can magnify the benefits of any wellness practice. Number two, nature is your ultimate wellness tool. Spending just 10 minutes outdoors, barefoot in the sun, breathing deeply and connected with nature can provide a full body reset, calming your nervous system and offering benefits similar to advanced wellness technologies. Number three, calm energy fuels true performance.

• 57:44Dr. Darshan Shah?

There are two types of energy, emergency, fight or flight, energy and creative productive energy. Shifting into a calm, parasympathetic state is crucial for sustained performance, healing and overall well-being, whether in sports or in daily life. Number four, everything is vibration and frequencies. Our bodies are fundamentally energy, vibration and frequency. Vibroacoustics, like those used in the Immortal Chamber, can directly impact the nervous system. It can release mental tensions and even create a sensation of comfort and floating, enhancing your relaxation and healing. And number five, unlock your body's healing potential.

• 58:26Dr. Darshan Shah?

Technologies like light vibration, PEMF, and molecular hydrogen can be combined to reduce cellular inflammation, open up cell walls and remove oxidative stress, creating an optimal environment for healing by shifting your body out of fight or flight.
