Good girls are bad girls who haven't been caught.

• 1:01Speaker 03

Good girls or bad girls who haven't been caught?

• 1:03Brooke Averick?

Good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught.

• 1:06Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 1:06Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:08Speaker 03

  Straight up.

• 1:08Brooke Averick?

Think about that for a second.

• 1:11Speaker 03

Are you Play-Doh? That was really well said.

• 1:13Brooke Averick?

  Thank you.

• 1:15Speaker 03

Good girls are bad girls who just haven't been caught yet.

• 1:17Brooke Averick?

  Exactly.

• 1:19Speaker 03

And guess what? Good girls rarely make history.

• 1:22Brooke Averick?

Literally, I was gonna say that next. Sorry, I spit all over you.

• 1:26Speaker 03

No, it's weird the spit left your mouth, but it didn't... Oh, it's on your shirt. I was like, I don't know where it went.

• 1:33Speaker 03

  Oh, Lord have mercy.

• 1:54Speaker 03

Welcome back to Brooke and Connor Make-A-Podcast. It's me. It's her. We're here.

• 2:00Brooke Averick?

Making a pee. I'm drinking a Celsius today for the first time. I love it.

• 2:06Speaker 03

  You do love it.

• 2:08Brooke Averick?

I think it's really gonna perk, perk me up in the way that I need to be perked. So I'm looking forward to it.

• 2:13Speaker 03

  It does.

• 2:14Brooke Averick?

Does it get your heart rate going?

• 2:16Speaker 03

For me, it kinda keeps me... I'll have a coffee and then I'll have a Celsius, which is maybe too much caffeine.

• 2:24Brooke Averick?

  I had a coffee too.

• 2:26Speaker 03

Yeah, but as soon as I have this, I'm just like locked in.

• 2:31Brooke Averick?

Oh, you're supposed to drink it prior to fitness activities?

• 2:34Speaker 03

  You can.

• 2:35Brooke Averick?

  If you want.

• 2:36Speaker 03

Yeah, this is a fitness activity. I was out of breath from talking earlier.

• 2:41Brooke Averick?

Seven essential vitamins proven in six published university studies. This was created in 2005.

• 2:48Speaker 03

Famously a great year. That was right before the recession. We were riding very high.

• 2:54Brooke Averick?

  It's kosher too.

• 2:56Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 2:56Brooke Averick?

Yeah, so it's nice to try new things.

• 3:00Speaker 03

That's what everyone's saying on the street. Um, how have you been? What's up over there?

• 3:08Brooke Averick?

Just kind of like same old. I don't, I again, like, don't really understand the term crashing out and I don't really like using it, but I might be.

• 3:16Speaker 03

  Why?

• 3:17Brooke Averick?

  I don't know.

• 3:18Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 3:19Brooke Averick?

Like it feels like that time of year, like I want to post something bad, like I want to, I don't know, like I'm in the mood to like, like kind of like have almost like a nervous breakdown online, if that makes sense.

• 3:31Speaker 03

  Wow.

• 3:31Brooke Averick?

It started with Hinge and it's devolving.

• 3:33Speaker 03

  Yeah. I'm kind of aligned.

• 3:36Brooke Averick?

This app is bad for me.

• 3:37Speaker 03

It's bad. It's bad for many. What happened? Did that guy match you back?

• 3:42Brooke Averick?

  God, no.

• 3:43Speaker 03

  Oh, hell no.

• 3:44Brooke Averick?

  It won't happen, champ.

• 3:48Speaker 03

Now, I want to have a nervous breakdown offline, like in public.

• 3:51Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 3:52Speaker 03

Yeah, I would love it to be filmed and then posted and have that be like, you know, and then come back from it. What a feeling it must be to come back from a nervous breakdown like, hmm. I was gonna say Britney Spears shaving her head in the parking lot or with that umbrella or whatever.

• 4:11Brooke Averick?

Well, like what I am like almost in the mood to do is, or I find myself wanting to post like a black screen with text that's just like lyrics to Iris.

• 4:21Speaker 03

  From Goo Goo Dolls?

• 4:22Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 4:24Speaker 03

That would have me like finding a way to your house.

• 4:27Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, that's how I feel.

• 4:30Speaker 03

  What specific lyrics?

• 4:33Brooke Averick?

  All of them.

• 4:34Speaker 03

The whole song? On a black screen?

• 4:37Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Did you know what that song is about, by the way?

• 4:41Speaker 03

I'm picturing the tiniest text ever on a black screen. I'd give up forever to touch you.

• 4:48Brooke Averick?

That's like how I've been feeling recently.

• 4:50Speaker 03

Oh, my God, Brooke's on the outs.

• 4:52Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 4:52Speaker 03

  Wait, what's the song about?

• 4:54Brooke Averick?

It's about, it was written back in the day when like songs were written for movie soundtracks. So it was written for this movie. I actually wrote it down.

• 5:02Speaker 03

Oh, that's disappointing. I really wanted it to be a girl.

• 5:04Brooke Averick?

No, that used to be a good, like a good piece of history.

• 5:07Speaker 03

I, I, I wanted this to be about that young man about to kill himself over a woman.

• 5:11Brooke Averick?

  No, it, it is.

• 5:13Speaker 03

  Really?

• 5:13Brooke Averick?

It's, yeah, that's what the movie's about. It's, uh, it was written for this movie City of Angels, which is about an angel who's, and if I butcher it, I'm sorry. I haven't seen the movie. This is from Wikipedia. Last night's viral. Um, it's about this angel who is in love with a woman on earth and so he gives up forever, like his immortal life. Uh, I'm actually, I'm not sure about the gender. I'm just gonna use he in this because it's a man singing. It's just easier for me right now. Um, but he gives up his eternity, like his immortal life as an angel to live on, I'm getting myself goosebumps, to live on earth with this woman. So I'd give up forever to touch you and then she dies the second that he gives up his life because that was his guardian angel and without,

• 5:58Brooke Averick?

or that was her guardian angel and without her guardian angel, she dies. But he had a second with her and that's all he ever needed. He'd give up forever.

• 6:05Speaker 03

I just got a stomach ulcer.

• 6:06Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 6:07Speaker 03

  Oh, that's painful.

• 6:08Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 6:09Speaker 03

  Oh, I'd be pissed.

• 6:10Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 6:10Speaker 03

I'd be pissed if I was the angel. What the hell are you going and dying for? I just got here.

• 6:15Brooke Averick?

Cause she no longer had her guardian angel.

• 6:17Speaker 03

Oh, that's right. You gave me that loophole.

• 6:19Brooke Averick?

  Thank.

• 6:20Speaker 03

  Damn. You know?

• 6:22Brooke Averick?

  But how?

• 6:25Brooke Averick?

Sorry to bring everything back to Hinge, and this is the last time I'm even gonna say the H-word.

• 6:30Speaker 03

  I'm not getting tabs.

• 6:31Brooke Averick?

How is the man that wrote that song is a man? And the people that I am swiping through on Hinge are also men?

• 6:43Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 6:43Brooke Averick?

I don't get how there's the same species.

• 6:47Speaker 03

  I'm telling you, something shifted.

• 6:49Brooke Averick?

How did the person that wrote Iris, how is there, how does everyone share an XY chromosome?

• 6:55Speaker 03

I think that something shifted in about 2012.

• 6:58Brooke Averick?

  What happened in 2012?

• 7:00Speaker 03

  Hmm, Coney.

• 7:01Brooke Averick?

Shit, shit, trace it back to there, huh?

• 7:05Speaker 03

Stop, Coney, 2012. That happened and it divided a nation between like men that long and men that yearn?

• 7:15Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 7:16Speaker 03

And men that don't yearn? No.

• 7:18Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, anyway.

• 7:20Speaker 03

I like just farted out of my mouth, did you hear that? It was not even a burp, like, no.

• 7:26Brooke Averick?

  A mouth queef?

• 7:27Speaker 03

  I queefed.

• 7:28Brooke Averick?

Yeah, anyway, I'm good, I'm just crashing.

• 7:33Speaker 03

  No, you're not crashing.

• 7:34Brooke Averick?

No, I'm not, but I'm like, it feels like it's like simmering below my skin.

• 7:38Speaker 03

  I think.

• 7:41Speaker 03

Oh my gosh, let her cook, she's cooking a crash out. No, I, I think you are like, you're like Sully, you're like slowly landing your plane into the Hudson. But you're not.

• 7:52Brooke Averick?

But I'm gonna, I'm gonna land it, that's the thing.

• 7:55Speaker 03

  You're gonna land it.

• 7:56Brooke Averick?

I'm always gonna land, it might be in the Hudson.

• 7:58Speaker 03

It might be in the Hudson.

• 7:59Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 7:59Speaker 03

Did I send you that Snapchat when I landed in Phoenix?

• 8:03Brooke Averick?

Oh, you get the woman gasping?

• 8:05Speaker 03

Like, you guys, I truly started filming when I was, when I was landing in Phoenix because we were going so fast and we were hitting such insane turbulence that I was like, we are plummeting to the ground.

• 8:18Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 8:19Speaker 03

I was like, I'm gonna film this.

• 8:20Brooke Averick?

And that's what most accidents happen.

• 8:22Speaker 03

  Landing, taking off and landing.

• 8:24Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 8:25Speaker 03

  When I take off, I go, we're 50% done.

• 8:28Brooke Averick?

  I do too, Connor.

• 8:30Speaker 03

And then coming in for the landing, I wish I was just a little bit less aware because I'm like, we're like this and this and this and we're sideways and we're not parallel. And I was like, let's get it parallel. And then we speed up upon, I thought we were gonna take back off. I was like, this is not right. We speed up, we hit the tarmac. You guys, so hard that the woman next to me goes, ugh! Like, the biggest grunt I have it filmed.

• 8:55Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 8:58Speaker 03

It's through my Amazon, um, Apple headphones, so it's like, it sounds like I'm underwater.

• 9:04Brooke Averick?

  Sure.

• 9:05Speaker 03

But I have to play this for you guys. It's so funny. Did I save it? The answer is, no. Why would I have saved it? Sorry, guys. Okay, I don't have it.

• 9:17Brooke Averick?

  Well, we believe you.

• 9:18Speaker 03

It was the funniest grunt. I was like, you can tell she was in physical pain upon landing.

• 9:25Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 9:27Speaker 03

Why were we talking about planes? I was gonna tell you something.

• 9:30Brooke Averick?

You were comparing my crash outs to the landing in the Hudson?

• 9:34Speaker 03

Oh, I know what I was gonna say. No. What can I compare thee to? Justin Bieber. And this is, so I was like, fully on board with like, commenting on this whole, I think this is the last time I participate in

• 9:51Speaker 03

like, watching this go down, because I do think that we have something on our hands here that is much larger than what it is right now in a negative way.

• 10:00Brooke Averick?

Well, I actually saw, so explain what happened really quickly with, with Justin.

• 10:05Speaker 03

I don't know what's happening. He's balding all, out of nowhere this week.

• 10:08Brooke Averick?

  Balding?

• 10:09Speaker 03

He's started, he's begun to bald.

• 10:11Brooke Averick?

No, that's not what is making the news.

• 10:14Speaker 03

It's come across my desk several times, but I- This caption is just so crazy. Justin Bieber, yo, this, he's posted Haley's Vogue cover. Yo, this reminds me when Haley and I got into a huge fight. I told Hale she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes, I know, so mean. For some reason, I felt, because I felt disrespected. I thought, I gotta get even. I think as we mature, we realize we're not helping anything by getting even. We're honestly just prolonging what we really want, which is intimacy and connection. So baby, you already know, but forgive me for saying you wouldn't get a Vogue cover because I was clearly sadly mistaken. Now, why post it? This is crashing out. This is yours, this is Iris on your story.

• 10:55Brooke Averick?

I kind of don't think so. I think it, it could be considered part of the crash out because it seems like he's having like a larger crash out. But I saw this really interesting take on this on TikTok that was like, this is a really accurate look at like toxic relationship dynamics that like all couples need to work on, just like toxic communication and like, just like digging at each other is a thing that a lot of couples go through and like, you need to be able to like reflect and talk about it. Does he need to do that in a, in an Instagram caption? I wouldn't, but also like DSDF.

• 11:32Speaker 03

  That's true.

• 11:33Brooke Averick?

So I actually don't think this is as terrible as everyone is saying. Like obviously it's a horrible thing to say, of course, but like, it seems like they are working through things. Again, would I put it in an Instagram caption? Not right now.

• 11:45Speaker 03

I just know a lot of people who post these things and it's like, look at how healthy our marriage is, like, look at my growth. I'm like, you're getting divorced. It's on the horizon.

• 11:55Brooke Averick?

They've made it a lot longer than I think anyone anticipated. I mean, how long have they been married? Like seven years.

• 12:04Speaker 03

  Really?

• 12:05Brooke Averick?

Uh, maybe like three, I don't know.

• 12:07Speaker 03

Seven or in the range of three to seven.

• 12:09Brooke Averick?

  Three to seven.

• 12:10Speaker 03

I think we can all agree.

• 12:11Brooke Averick?

  Six.

• 12:12Speaker 03

Yeah, so we were right on the money.

• 12:14Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 12:16Speaker 03

I don't know. It's freaking me out and it's really sad to see and I don't want to speculate any further because I'm, this is like.

• 12:24Brooke Averick?

  No speculation zone.

• 12:25Speaker 03

No speculation zone, just spitting facts and then also a little bit of speculation on my end as well sprinkled in. Now I'm done. I am worried about this though.

• 12:35Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I mean, watch the space. Also, completely separately but related, the song Lifetime by Justin Bieber is one of the best things I've ever heard, second to Iris. Are you familiar with that piece?

• 12:44Speaker 03

We'll have to listen to it in bonus now.

• 12:46Brooke Averick?

It's from the deluxe version of Justice.

• 12:49Speaker 03

  Purple one, the purple album?

• 12:50Brooke Averick?

No, no, no. The last album.

• 12:54Brooke Averick?

Blue and Green Hughes. From Anyone, Anyone and Ghost.

• 12:57Speaker 03

The Blue and Green Hughes album?

• 12:59Brooke Averick?

Ghost, Anyone, you know those pieces?

• 13:01Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 13:02Brooke Averick?

  It's from that album.

• 13:03Speaker 03

Okay, I gotta look it up. I don't.

• 13:04Brooke Averick?

  Oh Connor, it's so good.

• 13:07Speaker 03

I've never even seen this album.

• 13:09Brooke Averick?

  Are you serious?

• 13:10Speaker 03

  No.

• 13:10Brooke Averick?

This is, I think, my favorite Justin album and I would die to see this perform. It was canceled during COVID, this tour.

• 13:19Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 13:19Brooke Averick?

But if you have not heard the song Lifetime by Justin Bieber. Whoa.

• 13:25Speaker 03

  Get in there.

• 13:25Brooke Averick?

Talk about a song written for Clockwork Orange. Clockwork Angels. What was the movie called?

• 13:32Speaker 03

  Angels and Cities.

• 13:32Brooke Averick?

City of Angels. City, yeah, City of Angels.

• 13:37Speaker 03

I'm so ATL. That's what I have to say.

• 13:41Brooke Averick?

  ATL, don't tell me.

• 13:44Brooke Averick?

  I'm so at.

• 13:46Speaker 03

Atlanta, I believe is what. I think the song is, I'm so ATL.

• 13:52Brooke Averick?

  What song?

• 13:53Speaker 03

  I'm so ATL.

• 13:54Brooke Averick?

  Oh, I don't know it.

• 13:57Speaker 03

We'll do it after this. We'll do a little dance. It's the I'm so ATL thing. It's stuck in my head. I woke up this morning before I even dot anything else. It's, I'm so ATL. It's like, why is, I'm a human being with like a frontal lobe, a cortex or something else and a spine and I'm seeing the first thought I have is not like water, breathing, sunlight, air. I'm so ATL.

• 14:25Brooke Averick?

  I don't know what you're talking about.

• 14:28Speaker 03

Oh my gosh, it's crazy. We have such different line.

• 14:30Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, we really do.

• 14:31Speaker 03

  Yours is better.

• 14:32Brooke Averick?

No, my for you page is not a place you want to be.

• 14:35Speaker 03

  Why?

• 14:37Brooke Averick?

I can't, obviously I, ever since everything happened with Rob, who by the way is in great health, um, I can't stop watching, like, please stay for one minute to save my cat's life. And so now-

• 14:52Speaker 03

Those are scams mostly, by the way.

• 14:55Brooke Averick?

That's helpful for me to know.

• 14:56Speaker 03

If you go to the pages, they've posted like the same 15 things and, and long ago, it was like some other scam.

• 15:02Brooke Averick?

But what if it's just in the small chances, not a scam, I have to stay? And so I've just been staying for every single one. So every single videos, please stay to save my cat's life. What choice do I have?

• 15:12Speaker 03

Just so people, okay, we have to explain. Um, there's those videos online that if you watch for 15 seconds, I think they get some payout from TikTok, some view, viewer shit payout. Um, it's usually like I've, I've seen it for like, we can't afford my uncle's surgery, like, please stay. I'm sitting there, all right, let it play on loop. Put it, and then I went to the, it's not my personal mission to find out if these are scams. And if you scroll back and there's no other videos, usually a scam.

• 15:44Brooke Averick?

Well, if you, maybe if there's no other videos, then like they really are just there for their cat. No, I can't.

• 15:53Speaker 03

He'll be, you stay for a minute and listen to Plum's ASMR to fund our nonprofit no kill-

• 15:59Brooke Averick?

  Let's just-

• 15:59Speaker 03

  This is legit.

• 16:00Brooke Averick?

Yeah, let's just play this in the background of the episode. On mute. But like, I can't, I like, that's my whole for you page was I obviously have to stay till the end.

• 16:10Speaker 03

Oh, that's like, that's like when mine was all like, use this sound or you're gonna die next week.

• 16:15Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:15Speaker 03

I never got any good luck from doing that, by the way. If you are stuck in the loop of use this sound or your next week's gonna be horrible, or use this sound and, I love people that are, it's, it's like, use this sound, copy link, repost this, engage with this, and, and you'll have good luck. And I love people that are like claiming without any of that.

• 16:39Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:39Speaker 03

I'm just claiming this. I'm like, yes, I need to start claiming.

• 16:42Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I do too.

• 16:43Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 16:46Speaker 03

When's the last time I talked to you? Besides yesterday and the day before, on text?

• 16:50Brooke Averick?

  Like in person?

• 16:51Speaker 03

  Yeah, was it the podcast?

• 16:53Brooke Averick?

  I guess, yeah.

• 16:54Speaker 03

  Last week's podcast?

• 16:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:55Speaker 03

Yeah, we're kind of killing it online right now.

• 16:57Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 16:58Speaker 03

  Yeah, we went viral.

• 16:59Brooke Averick?

Ooh, it's been a minute. You know why?

• 17:02Speaker 03

  Why?

• 17:03Brooke Averick?

  Because we were in person.

• 17:04Speaker 03

No, no, no, last week was not in person.

• 17:05Brooke Averick?

Oh, my word, that's fabulous news.

• 17:07Speaker 03

It was just like we were, our cycles were synced.

• 17:09Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I think we do really like well together when we have stuff to talk about that's just like a genuine, like, listen to what's happening in my life. Instead of us just like going like poop and fart and shit like that, even though I love doing that.

• 17:26Speaker 03

Randomly, our podcast does better when we have something to talk about, you're right.

• 17:29Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 18:32Speaker 03

Well, I went to Oklahoma over the weekend.

• 18:33Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 18:34Speaker 03

  Now...

• 18:35Brooke Averick?

Oh, yeah, tell us about your journey and everything like that.

• 18:37Speaker 03

Yeah, so I was in New York and I didn't want to fly out of Newark, Jersey, because they're having all those issues that I talked about.

• 18:44Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 18:45Speaker 03

They literally came on and they were like, "Just try not to fly in or out of this airport", which is like...

• 18:49Brooke Averick?

Crazy for the airport to say.

• 18:50Speaker 03

So mind blowing, because it's still available and it's not illegal to fly out of there. They're saying like, "For your safety..." Close the airport.

• 19:00Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, that's really tough.

• 19:02Speaker 03

And people are asking me, they're like, am I okay? I'm like, I don't know.

• 19:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 19:05Speaker 03

Why would I know? Just probably just avoid Newark. And that was my favorite airport.

• 19:10Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, you love Newark.

• 19:11Speaker 03

An outspoken Newark fan. Man, it was so sad. So I go to LaGuardia. I changed my flight. I am flying out of LaGuardia. I get there at 9 a.m. to go to Oklahoma City. Flight delayed till 11.

• 19:25Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 19:25Speaker 03

  Flight delayed till 1.

• 19:26Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 19:27Speaker 03

  Flight delayed till 3.

• 19:28Brooke Averick?

And you have a show that night.

• 19:29Speaker 03

I have a show that night.

• 19:30Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 19:31Speaker 03

And it left plenty of time with me flying there.

• 19:33Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 19:33Speaker 03

Getting there. I'm, I'm watching the clock. I'm like, okay, Maggie and Xavier are just gonna have to start the show in Oklahoma City. And I'll arrive 45 minutes late, but that's when I start anyways.

• 19:45Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 19:47Speaker 03

It gets to the point, I'm on the phone with everyone, the venue and stuff, and I'm like, we're gonna have to cancel the shows. And I've never done that.

• 19:54Brooke Averick?

Were you feeling sick to your stomach?

• 19:56Speaker 03

Yeah, I wanted to die, but there were people. Every flight at LaGuardia was grounded.

• 20:01Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 20:01Speaker 03

Because of weather. So like every flight, I'm watching like, people blowing up on staff like, come on, let me up. It's weather. Like you genuinely as mad as I wanted to tweet. So scathing tweet. And my fingers are burning. I wanted to tweet so bad, but it's like.

• 20:18Brooke Averick?

That's like how I feel about Iris.

• 20:20Speaker 03

Who am I gonna tweet? A cloud? Fuck you. Fuck you, cloud. Like this is horrible service, cloud.

• 20:27Brooke Averick?

People really do like, seem to have a release when they post about airlines.

• 20:33Speaker 03

And I'm gonna get to that in a state.

• 20:35Brooke Averick?

Like, that's what I'm about to do. To no one in particular, if that makes sense.

• 20:40Speaker 03

No, like Brooke literally like goes somewhere, have horrible customer service and just release.

• 20:44Brooke Averick?

Like I need a release like that.

• 20:46Speaker 03

  And I don't like. There's not a, there's not a company that I.

• 20:50Brooke Averick?

Maybe I'll just chat Anthropologie customer service for the hell of it.

• 20:53Speaker 03

  Tag them.

• 20:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 20:56Speaker 03

  Tag them.

• 20:56Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 20:57Speaker 03

It is so fun. So I'm like, I have no one to write to. I'm sitting there. Mary Shalaby joined for this. She's on, she's online. People know her. She joined for this show. So she's at the airport with me. We're sitting there. We end up having to switch airlines from United to Delta. So we have to switch terminals. Meanwhile.

• 21:19Brooke Averick?

Did you have to go through security again?

• 21:20Speaker 03

Yeah. Out of the airport, took a bus. I mean, this is like, we're on hour like 11 at this point. It's like 9pm. We didn't take off till 11.

• 21:30Speaker 03

Whatever. We don't land till 2am. I get a DM that's like, hey, I'm just really bummed out. We, I'm disappointed in you. We flew in for the show. And I'm like, oh crap. Please, just like general PSA, if you feel the need to fly in for one of my shows, I promise you I'm going to be closer to you. Then wherever you're coming, like I will be closer to your city of origin. At some point. Do not fly, because I cannot deal with the guilt of you paying for a flight. And then something potentially happens. It makes me feel sick. So they're like, yeah, we flew in. I'm disappointed in you. Why would you book a flight the same day? Booked it months ago. Could not leave a day earlier for this show.

• 22:09Brooke Averick?

  Right. Yeah.

• 22:10Speaker 03

It's like, please. Do not go out of your way to come to, if you're nearby, would love if you joined, bought a ticket. Do not put anything else into my shows. I appreciate it. I'm flattered. I can't deal with the, I lose sleep knowing someone took PTO for the show and.

• 22:28Brooke Averick?

I know. I really felt that way with the live show. Like if you flew here and I like. Need to remove myself from the stage, like I'll feel so bad.

• 22:37Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 22:38Brooke Averick?

That I won't recover. So I really do understand that. But like.

• 22:43Brooke Averick?

You know, it is what it is.

• 22:45Speaker 03

  It is what it is.

• 22:46Brooke Averick?

  It is what it is.

• 22:47Speaker 03

It's, it's, it's, it's an amazing thing. So anyways, and thank you guys for coming. And to the young woman and her boyfriend who I chatted with. Thank you guys for trying. We will figure it out and we will meet one day. It might be in heaven. But we will meet one day. Now.

• 23:04Brooke Averick?

  In the city of angels.

• 23:05Speaker 03

In the city of angels, perhaps.

• 23:08Speaker 03

And I talked to her boyfriend too. He's very sweet.

• 23:10Brooke Averick?

  That's good.

• 23:10Speaker 03

Um, so I get to Oklahoma immediately upon touchdown. Tornado watch.

• 23:16Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 23:17Speaker 03

Sirens going off. I'm like, I'm gonna die in Oklahoma City for sure. Then everyone's like, you're a pussy. I mean, my DMs like, we always, we're always on tornado watch.

• 23:27Brooke Averick?

Right. I've heard that too. About Oklahoma City.

• 23:31Speaker 03

Yeah. Well, that's where Glenn Powell's from in that movie.

• 23:33Brooke Averick?

Exactly. Cause I thought when I saw Twisters, I saw it with Sodi, who's from Oklahoma City. And I was like, this is obviously like not real. And she was like, no, it, it is. And that's like a real thing that happened.

• 23:45Speaker 03

They weren't, they, for the three days I was there, they weren't ever not on tornado watch. Which was insane. And they're like, there's gonna be devastating, quote, devastating baseball sized hail.

• 23:57Brooke Averick?

  Whoa.

• 23:58Speaker 03

And I was like, we should cancel the shows. And they were like, no, do not cancel.

• 24:02Speaker 03

So that was that. Oklahoma was extremely, extremely special.

• 24:07Brooke Averick?

  You loved it?

• 24:07Speaker 03

I'll look back at my time in Oklahoma fondly.

• 24:10Brooke Averick?

Oh, that's so good, Connor. Glad it was all worth it in the end.

• 24:14Speaker 03

It was all worth it in the end. Um, and now I'm back in LA and we're in person. This is amazing. Look at us.

• 24:19Brooke Averick?

  Look at us.

• 24:20Speaker 03

It's really special. Um, I, last week, it's all gonna lead to here, by the way, this story that I'm telling. Last week, go to an event where they let me, they loaned me clothes and I wasn't sure if I got to keep them. So I didn't wanna open, the pockets were stitched shut.

• 24:37Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 24:37Speaker 03

I was like, I don't wanna open these if I'm returning this jacket. So I had my wallet

• 24:43Speaker 03

in my lap. And I'm in a taxi and I keep forgetting about taxis in New York that I can just hop in one. I'm allowed to do that. I got into the taxi. I went ahead and said, wallet, why don't you continue your journey without me? I got out. Taxi drives off. I'm sprinting after a taxi. And at some point I just had to say, c'est la vie.

• 25:03Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 25:05Speaker 03

  Bonne nuit.

• 25:08Speaker 03

Enjoy your time away. And then I'm like, I have the best wallet luck. Every time I've lost my wallet, misplaced it, it finds its way back to me. It's an amazing thing. This one found its way to Brooklyn and was able to spend thousands of dollars. It was able to find its way to spend thousands of dollars.

• 25:26Brooke Averick?

  Did you cancel everything?

• 25:28Speaker 03

Yeah, I actually had it on pause first.

• 25:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 25:32Speaker 03

So it was like monitoring if any, if any spending happened. Yeah. So, but then I got here to LA.

• 25:38Brooke Averick?

I didn't know you could pause.

• 25:39Speaker 03

You can pause. You can pause if you think that you're gonna find it.

• 25:43Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. Oh, I didn't know.

• 25:44Speaker 03

Yeah, it's a really special thing. It's in the, in the apps.

• 25:47Brooke Averick?

What kind of credit card is that? All the apps?

• 25:49Speaker 03

I think so. They all have pause now.

• 25:51Brooke Averick?

  Whoa.

• 25:53Speaker 03

Care to pause? Yeah, I would like to.

• 25:58Speaker 03

So I, I didn't, I don't have a physical card and I have my passport right now, which is always so scary.

• 26:03Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 26:04Speaker 03

Pardon. And I had just gotten my real ID. But get this, to check into a hotel in 2025, the year of our Lord, you still need a physical credit card for incidentals. I paid for four nights in this hotel room for this week. I get there, they go, no, we can't let you in. We need a physical card. I go, I don't know, I can't, I don't have it. I don't know what's, I, I have the reservation under my name. Here's my ID. They go, no. I go, tap? They go, see yourself out.

• 26:36Brooke Averick?

  There's no way.

• 26:37Speaker 03

They would not let me do it. I had to call Kylie to drive from her work to present a physical card to cover the $50 incidentals for my four nights. Say that was non-refundable. What would have hap- I don't know what would have hap- what, what if I was in Singapore?

• 26:53Brooke Averick?

  You're screwed.

• 26:56Brooke Averick?

You don't have any backup credit cards that-

• 26:58Speaker 03

They were all in my wallet.

• 27:00Brooke Averick?

You should not keep every single card in your wallet.

• 27:02Speaker 03

I had all my eggs in that particular basket because I love that basket. Why would I not put all my eggs in it?

• 27:07Brooke Averick?

Wow. Are you, do you still think you're gonna get it back or the-

• 27:09Speaker 03

Oh, it's toast. I have no, that was one of the wallets and that's one of the few items that I have that I truly like holds zero sentimental value. Had an AirTag in it. It's very like, I, I, I wanted to lose it, to be frank. I didn't want to lose my ID though.

• 27:24Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 27:26Speaker 03

  The wallet itself.

• 27:29Speaker 03

I'll see you on the other side.

• 27:31Brooke Averick?

  Ciao.

• 27:31Speaker 03

  Yeah, ciao, bella.

• 27:33Brooke Averick?

  Wow.

• 27:35Speaker 03

And that's my story, pretty much.

• 27:37Brooke Averick?

I really do hope that it finds its way back to you. I do not think it will, but I do hope.

• 27:41Speaker 03

That would be really funny into the story, but it's not gonna happen.

• 27:45Brooke Averick?

  Why's your toe black?

• 27:46Speaker 03

Thanks for asking why your toe black.

• 27:50Speaker 03

Each of those words carries equal weight. There is no unnecessary language in that sentence. Why your toe black?

• 27:58Brooke Averick?

  Why your toe black?

• 28:00Speaker 03

I stubbed it on the bed frame in the hotel room I'm in.

• 28:03Brooke Averick?

  Oh, this is a recent?

• 28:05Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 28:07Brooke Averick?

I think your toenail will fall off.

• 28:08Speaker 03

  She said yes.

• 28:10Brooke Averick?

What's that tattoo on your foot say?

• 28:12Speaker 03

  Right time.

• 28:13Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 28:15Speaker 03

You're learning so many things about my body today.

• 28:17Brooke Averick?

  I know, I know. I usually, I don't know if I've ever...

• 28:21Speaker 03

You don't know if you've ever got...

• 28:21Brooke Averick?

Wait, when did you get that tattoo?

• 28:23Speaker 03

We had a whole segment on it.

• 28:25Brooke Averick?

  Did we?

• 28:25Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 28:25Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 28:26Speaker 03

  It was when I moved...

• 28:26Brooke Averick?

We say so many things that it's like, some get lost in the shuffle.

• 28:30Speaker 03

Okay, and I also think that like, I need to say I'm like, by the way, we had a clip the other day that was really good. It really, really was succinct, except half of the clip was me saying like. We're back.

• 28:45Brooke Averick?

  I'll do it.

• 28:47Speaker 03

I just like, I'm gonna keep...

• 28:48Brooke Averick?

And when you, don't even bother, because when you start thinking about it, you just do it more.

• 28:53Speaker 03

Well, we forget things that we say, so I wonder if other people are also like, oh, this is a nice refresher.

• 29:00Brooke Averick?

No, I think they're like, you already said that.

• 29:02Speaker 03

Did I tell you that time when, so my old shows, I used to open and then close?

• 29:07Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 29:08Speaker 03

God, so stupid. And so by the second show of the evening, I'd have gone out four times, like 20 minute segments at a time.

• 29:18Speaker 03

And there was one show where I couldn't remember if I'd done this like 10 minute bit. And I just did it. And no one laughed. And I was like, why aren't you guys laughing? They go, you already did this one.

• 29:36Speaker 03

I was just like, this is, this is like a dream that you are in class and there's an exam and you didn't know about it until the end of the semester. You know what my new dreams are? My nightmare dreams? That I have Max again and I have forgotten to feed him for like days. And he's like-

• 29:53Brooke Averick?

No, now I'm gonna have that.

• 29:54Speaker 03

Unable to tell me and it's, it's like 6pm and I'm like, oh my God, I have not, I haven't fed you once in three days.

• 30:01Brooke Averick?

  Now I'm gonna have that.

• 30:02Speaker 03

And he's fine, but I'm like, oh my God, what, what is wrong with you?

• 30:06Brooke Averick?

  What's wrong? Oh shoot.

• 30:08Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 30:08Brooke Averick?

You might have just osmosis to-

• 30:10Speaker 03

No, I think that truly has to come from a place of like, true anxiety about something else that isn't related to feeding my dog.

• 30:21Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I have anxiety.

• 30:24Speaker 03

  Yeah, okay.

• 30:26Brooke Averick?

I did something last Friday that is, like I filmed something, an ad, like, that's like, I, I need to be able to talk about it. But I don't think I can yet. But do you guys remember when I filmed with Robbie P?

• 30:44Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 30:44Brooke Averick?

It's like, it was similar. This is somebody that, like, we've interacted with before, so it's not like that surprise, whoa factor. But it was so awesome that I just wish I could talk about it and I'm like, giddy.

• 30:57Speaker 03

You will be able to soon. That, it's one of the most unbelievable things I've ever heard. Interaction wise.

• 31:04Brooke Averick?

  So awesome. It's so awesome.

• 31:07Speaker 03

I'm really looking forward to cracking up when you're able to release that info.

• 31:13Brooke Averick?

  Me too.

• 31:13Speaker 03

You might have to do like a live reaction YouTube video when that comes out.

• 31:18Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I might. This will maybe be the only thing that I've ever done that I watch back.

• 31:23Speaker 03

  Phenomenal.

• 31:24Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 31:25Speaker 03

  Fabulous.

• 31:26Brooke Averick?

  Also-

• 31:28Brooke Averick?

My mom says I'm psychic, which I kind of believe.

• 31:31Speaker 03

Yeah, I heard, I heard her. Was that what you sent chatting me yesterday?

• 31:34Brooke Averick?

No, she was saying that my Jupiter is in the publishing house.

• 31:39Speaker 03

  It is.

• 31:40Brooke Averick?

I believe it. Um, I didn't like, I wasn't following that part necessarily. But she used to think that I, because there are so many things in my life that I have manifested like pretty intensely. She used to say that like, because I felt so strongly about them and thought about them so much that like I'm manifested them into the existence, into existence because the universe didn't have a choice. Because my feelings were so strong.

• 32:05Speaker 03

You pushed the universe into a corner?

• 32:08Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 32:08Speaker 03

  And gave it an ultimatum.

• 32:09Brooke Averick?

Exactly. But now she's saying that I just knew all along that these things were gonna happen, so they were more of like psychic premonitions. And I'm, what I'm really speaking about here is who I was with

• 32:25Brooke Averick?

last Friday, because that's such a specific manifestation.

• 32:30Brooke Averick?

  You know?

• 32:31Speaker 03

  I do know, yeah.

• 32:32Brooke Averick?

That like down to the, I'll, we'll talk about it later. When I, when, when the details. When the details are revealed. Anyway, that's just like the universe is a crazy thing.

• 32:43Speaker 03

The universe is a crazy thing. Now, I saw Chris Rock yesterday.

• 32:48Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 32:48Speaker 03

And we nodded at each other.

• 32:51Speaker 03

But I was, I was staring at him, so I think that,

• 32:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 32:54Speaker 03

I think that he was kind of just being like, hey, I see, I do see you looking at me.

• 32:58Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 32:59Speaker 03

Um, so that's kind of it. And then there's a new Lilo and Stitch.

• 33:05Brooke Averick?

Uh, did you see Stitch show up to the premiere in like a little jeep?

• 33:09Speaker 03

Yeah. I was sobbing on the ground. Is it live action?

• 33:15Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 33:17Speaker 03

Stop! Enough live action. What in the fuck? There, I said it.

• 33:25Brooke Averick?

  I kind of like.

• 33:26Speaker 03

  No, ew.

• 33:28Brooke Averick?

I really liked Little Mermaid. I feel like that one did not get its flowers.

• 33:32Speaker 03

Stitch is like a little monster. I don't want him to.

• 33:36Speaker 03

I don't want him to be CGI. I want it to be animated. What is the

• 33:39Brooke Averick?

  No, that I agree.

• 33:40Speaker 03

What is the anti-animation train that everybody's on all the time? I don't want a realistic view of Stitch. It's gonna be gross.

• 33:49Brooke Averick?

That I, yeah, I don't think we need to make Stitch live action, but Little Mermaid I really liked.

• 33:56Brooke Averick?

  There's gonna be a live-action Moana, right?

• 33:59Speaker 03

How about make a new movie? Is this the second Lilo and Stitch or is this Lilo and Stitch live action?

• 34:06Brooke Averick?

  I think it's

• 34:09Brooke Averick?

  Lilo and Stitch live action.

• 34:11Speaker 03

God damn. What is, what is everyone's issue with writing an original piece these days?

• 34:17Brooke Averick?

I do hear you. So you have to take it into your own hands of writing an original piece?

• 34:21Speaker 03

I, I, I want to. There's not, there's nothing in my brain that could at, at, in any way

• 34:29Speaker 03

parallel Lilo and Stitch, the original piece.

• 34:32Brooke Averick?

  You don't need to.

• 34:33Speaker 03

But it's such a brilliant piece of work.

• 34:35Brooke Averick?

Yeah, but write your own brilliant piece of work.

• 34:37Speaker 03

I need us all to wake up. I almost want to boycott Lilo and Stitch live action. We cannot keep giving, these, these, these, these production companies think we're dumb. They think we're stupid. They're like, just remake the same thing. They'll buy it. We need to stop. And guess what? They're gonna sell billions of dollars worth of Stitch plushies.

• 34:57Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 34:58Speaker 03

We have to stop. We have to wake up, you guys. Challenge, challenge these companies to write original movies and TV shows. No more reboots. No more reboots, please!

• 35:09Brooke Averick?

That's your propaganda you're not falling for. Have you seen that TikTok trend?

• 35:13Speaker 03

You need to refresh me. I haven't really been scrolling.

• 35:15Brooke Averick?

There's just, well, the like few videos that aren't like cats dying are the propaganda I'm not falling for. And it's just like things that are like popular now that people can never get on board with, you know, like plastic surgery, like whatever. Yours is live-action remakes and reboots.

• 35:32Speaker 03

I mean, yeah, and that's actually true to its word. Like that is not, that's like propaganda being like, look, this is new. No, it's not.

• 35:42Brooke Averick?

I'm trying to think of my propaganda that I'm not falling for. Everything I can think of, I am falling for.

• 35:48Speaker 03

Yeah, I was gonna say I'm pretty, pretty, um, gullible.

• 35:50Brooke Averick?

I've been doing fake freckles. I shouldn't have even admitted it.

• 35:53Speaker 03

  Whoa.

• 35:54Brooke Averick?

Some of them are real. I've just been, I got this, uh, Stamper on TikTok shop to enhance. Thank you. The ones on my nose are real. The ones on my cheeks are fake as F.

• 36:07Brooke Averick?

  Very subtle.

• 36:09Speaker 03

  They are very subtle.

• 36:11Brooke Averick?

So I was gonna say fake freckles, but I have completely fallen and can't get up. Um, then I was gonna say acai bowls. I have fallen.

• 36:20Speaker 03

  I had one yesterday.

• 36:21Brooke Averick?

  So good. Um.

• 36:24Speaker 03

I guess they're like not good for you at all, which is crazy.

• 36:26Brooke Averick?

No, I don't think that. I think it's like too much for sugar.

• 36:29Speaker 03

  It's ice cream.

• 36:31Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I really care for them though.

• 36:34Speaker 03

  I like adore them.

• 36:35Brooke Averick?

  I love the granola pieces.

• 36:36Speaker 03

Right. And that is ice cream and, and like a

• 36:39Brooke Averick?

  Sprinkles.

• 36:40Speaker 03

Sprinkles. Like it really truly is like just adjacent. Is he just put her head down? Are you okay? Oh, you were looking at something. Okay. I thought you were falling asleep. I was like, we gotta pick it up. I'm gonna take my shirt off.

• 36:51Brooke Averick?

  Do it.

• 36:52Speaker 03

No, I can't. I'm in a, I'm going through a phase of about a year where I'm just like, what are you doing?

• 36:57Brooke Averick?

I'm wearing low rise jeans. And I never, I've never done that.

• 37:02Speaker 03

  Wow.

• 37:03Brooke Averick?

Yeah. It's just like it's time to experiment.

• 37:06Speaker 03

  With your body.

• 37:07Brooke Averick?

  A little bit.

• 37:08Speaker 03

Let's see what this, let's see what this

• 37:09Brooke Averick?

Flip flops. I don't wear flip flops either.

• 37:11Speaker 03

Let's see what this puppy can really do. Slipping a pair of low rise.

• 37:14Brooke Averick?

I don't feel comfortable necessarily, but maybe it will just take time. I was about to say propaganda I'm not falling for.

• 37:21Speaker 03

  Low rise jeans.

• 37:22Brooke Averick?

But I just fricking fell for it.

• 37:24Speaker 03

  Oh my gosh.

• 37:25Brooke Averick?

I think I'd, I'm trying, I can't think of anything I haven't fallen for. Which is disappointing and I'm disappointed in myself.

• 37:31Speaker 03

I think the stuff I haven't fallen for truly, I'm just so uninterested in that I can't even remember it right now.

• 37:37Brooke Averick?

  That's a good point.

• 37:39Speaker 03

  What's popular right now?

• 37:40Brooke Averick?

I was, then I was gonna say-

• 37:41Speaker 03

Does anyone know anything that's popular right now? The two, the two podcasts over here-

• 37:44Brooke Averick?

Well, I was gonna say, the, uh, like, romance books I used to shit on. I've fallen so hard for those. That was propaganda.

• 37:52Speaker 03

Oh, let's think of an artist that has like really popular songs.

• 37:55Brooke Averick?

I haven't, uh, Benson Boone, you completely-

• 37:59Speaker 03

  No, I just-

• 38:00Brooke Averick?

  I don't mind him, though.

• 38:01Speaker 03

I'm able to see talent, or talent is-

• 38:04Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 38:05Speaker 03

If, he has undeniable talent. It's, it will be no surprise that he sold out like seventeen shows in Salt Lake City. He exudes Mormonism.

• 38:15Brooke Averick?

  Is he Mormon?

• 38:16Speaker 03

I don't know. It doesn't matter. To him, he is. And that's great. And he is flipping his way into permanent stardom.

• 38:27Speaker 03

Backflip, backflip, backflip. Anytime he, in his, his like, when I'm like, like, like, like, like, is a backflip. Anytime he has, anytime he is thinking about something, he's like, I'm just gonna flip right now.

• 38:39Brooke Averick?

I guess I still haven't fallen for like, that, like, sad, like, um,

• 38:45Brooke Averick?

  female singer genre.

• 38:47Speaker 03

  Like Gracie Abrams?

• 38:48Brooke Averick?

I do like some of her songs.

• 38:50Speaker 03

  Yeah, I love her.

• 38:51Brooke Averick?

But like, I don't know, I never fell for like Phoebe Bridgers, or like, who else is there?

• 38:58Brooke Averick?

  That kind of music.

• 38:59Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 39:00Brooke Averick?

Slow and sad and stuff like that.

• 39:03Speaker 03

When you catch me in a certain mood, I will like any music. I was- This is tough to admit. The other day, at the airport, oof. Oof.

• 39:15Speaker 03

I typed in dubstep on Spotify.

• 39:21Speaker 03

Do you know what dubstep is?

• 39:22Brooke Averick?

  Like, yeah.

• 39:24Speaker 03

Like, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah. And I was like, yeah, this is awesome.

• 39:29Brooke Averick?

  Wah, wah, wah.

• 39:32Speaker 03

Wrong one. Ooh. Is that that one?

• 39:36Brooke Averick?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of.

• 39:37Speaker 03

  That's Taste by Tyga.

• 39:39Brooke Averick?

  So good.

• 39:40Speaker 03

  I wonder how Tyga's doing.

• 39:43Brooke Averick?

  Wait, Tyga the man?

• 39:46Speaker 03

No, Tyga the beast. What do you mean? Yeah.

• 39:51Brooke Averick?

I thought that song was by a woman.

• 39:52Speaker 03

  Oh, was he dating Madeleine?

• 39:53Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, he is.

• 39:56Speaker 03

  Man, that is so random.

• 39:59Brooke Averick?

  Completely is.

• 40:00Speaker 03

I do like her a lot.

• 40:03Speaker 03

I'm so curious, like, he must, he must have like a really good personality.

• 40:09Brooke Averick?

  I don't think so.

• 40:10Speaker 03

  No, because he's-

• 40:11Brooke Averick?

  Why do you say that?

• 40:13Speaker 03

Because like everyone he dates does.

• 40:15Brooke Averick?

  It doesn't matter.

• 40:16Speaker 03

Besides, I mean, I don't know. I don't know any of these people. I act like I knew Kylie Jenner just now. Speak of the, speak of her. Speak of the woman.

• 40:28Speaker 03

Still like going very shy with Timothy Chalamet. Timothy Chalamet, I'm gonna make a really unoriginal comment right now. He's kinda like, he's so man of the people that he's almost like Princess Diana vibes for-

• 40:46Speaker 03

Like, did you see him leaving the next game and he's out of his car like-

• 40:48Brooke Averick?

  He's awesome.

• 40:49Speaker 03

  Hugging-

• 40:50Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 40:50Speaker 03

  Men, women, children-

• 40:51Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 40:51Speaker 03

  Kissing babies, shaking hands.

• 40:53Brooke Averick?

  I do love him.

• 40:54Speaker 03

He's for the people and there's not one thing he's got, he's come out and said, you know when people fly too close to the sun, they're doing interview, press, press, press?

• 41:02Brooke Averick?

He has always flown the perfect amount-

• 41:04Speaker 03

  It is-

• 41:05Brooke Averick?

  Away from the sun.

• 41:06Speaker 03

  Without fault.

• 41:07Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 41:09Speaker 03

And it's not even media training. It's like lack of media training that's creating this-

• 41:13Brooke Averick?

  Himself.

• 41:14Speaker 03

  Yeah, oh my gosh.

• 41:14Brooke Averick?

But not too often. So like we're hungry for glimpses.

• 41:19Speaker 03

  I want more Chalamet.

• 41:21Brooke Averick?

  I know, give me more.

• 41:22Speaker 03

But I wanna know him on a personal level and now I feel like that's my, that's my God given right, which now it makes me-

• 41:29Speaker 03

I feel a little bit parasocial to Timothy.

• 41:31Brooke Averick?

  That's fine.

• 41:32Speaker 03

Like I do feel it in my heart that we will meet and head it off.

• 41:37Brooke Averick?

I am trying to think, I have been in the room with him at the Wonka premiere.

• 41:41Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 41:42Brooke Averick?

  Like, pretty close. Thanks.

• 41:45Speaker 03

  I bet he smells good.

• 41:46Brooke Averick?

  I bet he smells great.

• 41:47Speaker 03

What do you think he smells like?

• 41:49Brooke Averick?

  Like awesome?

• 41:50Speaker 03

I think he smells like, like Axe.

• 41:53Brooke Averick?

  No, something much more sophisticated.

• 41:55Speaker 03

No, I don't think so. I think he smells like Axe.

• 41:59Brooke Averick?

Because he is kind of like teenage boy, like he is Timmy Tim.

• 42:03Speaker 03

  How old is Tim?

• 42:04Brooke Averick?

  He's 20.

• 42:05Speaker 03

  Timbo?

• 42:06Brooke Averick?

  He's 29, turned 29 in December.

• 42:07Speaker 03

  You're...

• 42:08Brooke Averick?

I like really hope that that's true. If it's not, it'll be embarrassing.

• 42:12Speaker 03

No, I think it's kind of crazy that you know that exactly for a fact.

• 42:15Brooke Averick?

Oh, you mean if it is true, it'll be embarrassing? Yeah.

• 42:20Brooke Averick?

  Yup, 29 years young.

• 42:24Speaker 03

  Wow.

• 42:24Brooke Averick?

  In his prime.

• 42:26Speaker 03

  Really is.

• 43:28Speaker 03

I, so the only thing that's not man of the people vibes about him is that he's dating a billionaire?

• 43:33Brooke Averick?

That he's also like a mega, mega, mega celebrity?

• 43:36Speaker 03

Well, like so is Princess Diana.

• 43:38Brooke Averick?

Yeah. But there was always gonna be something. Princess Diana was a princess, like there's always gonna be that.

• 43:45Speaker 03

But he's not like rebuking the billionaire's status and like, I'm almost equating him to like Luigi Mangione in a way of like, I am for the people, but then it's like, except my billionaire girlfriend.

• 43:59Brooke Averick?

I really want to see Pauline Chalamet and Kylie interact.

• 44:03Speaker 03

  They do.

• 44:03Brooke Averick?

I know, I want to see it.

• 44:04Speaker 03

  Pauline had a baby.

• 44:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 44:06Speaker 03

And I'm pretty sure the babies interact with the babies.

• 44:11Brooke Averick?

  Oh, that's precious.

• 44:11Speaker 03

Yeah. Wait, can we look up Timothy's net worth?

• 44:18Speaker 03

So sorry, I had this tickle in my hi- his.

• 44:21Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 44:22Speaker 03

  I'm gonna guess forty-two million.

• 44:26Brooke Averick?

  That feels right.

• 44:28Speaker 03

  Is it far less?

• 44:28Brooke Averick?

Oh, twenty-five million. But also, these can't be right, ever.

• 44:32Speaker 03

And it's so funny, because if you look up like, like Mr. Beast's net worth is like five-hundred-and-sixty million.

• 44:38Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 44:39Speaker 03

  A year.

• 44:41Brooke Averick?

When Timothy introduces himself, does he say, "Hi, I'm Timotee?"

• 44:46Brooke Averick?

  Or does he say Timothy?

• 44:48Speaker 03

I'm pretty sure he's a man of the people, and he's saying Timothy.

• 44:50Brooke Averick?

I honestly think he might say Timotee.

• 44:57Speaker 03

Pronouncing his name for almost two minutes, let's see.

• 44:58Brooke Averick?

  Okay, yay, this is fun.

• 45:01Speaker 04

Billboard, there's a little accent over one of the Es in your name, and I wanna know how I should handle that.

• 45:06Speaker 05

I meant to say Timothy. It's pronounced Timothy.

• 45:09Speaker 06

  You have so many names.

• 45:11Brooke Averick?

  Well, can he?

• 45:11Speaker 06

Because you're dad's French, are you really Timotee?

• 45:14Speaker 05

I thought it was Timotee because of double Es at the end.

• 45:16Brooke Averick?

  Let him speak.

• 45:17Speaker 03

He's being silenced. Oh, of course, right, I talk.

• 45:19Speaker 07

  Say it like that.

• 45:19Speaker 06

  The Timotee.

• 45:20Speaker 05

I thought it was Timotee because of double Es at the end.

• 45:23Speaker 07

It's Timotee, but I would not oblige you to say it like that. It's supposed to be Timotee, but that always just seemed like too obnoxious a requirement to put on people.

• 45:30Speaker 03

  Man of the people.

• 45:31Speaker 07

Timothy, Tim, Timmy. It's whatever you'd like. You could say Doug, Alex, Rick.

• 45:36Brooke Averick?

  He's the greatest.

• 45:37Speaker 03

  He's really great.

• 45:39Brooke Averick?

I wanna watch, uh, statistics in the bonus, as well as Timmy Tim.

• 45:43Speaker 03

Okay. And that, that, I'm aligned there as well.

• 45:46Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I really, really care for him.

• 45:49Brooke Averick?

Speaking of like that community, Kris Jenner, have you seen her in the past like week or so?

• 45:56Speaker 03

Little Miss New Jaws? Yeah, I have. She has a new face.

• 45:59Brooke Averick?

I want to go to that doctor.

• 46:02Speaker 03

I think it's the same one as like Lindsay Lohan and everybody.

• 46:04Brooke Averick?

It's, she looks the same age as Kim.

• 46:07Speaker 03

I wonder what they would do to me if I went in and I was like, "I want the, I want the Kris Jenner thing."

• 46:11Brooke Averick?

But also, I've never seen, it's, like, I've never seen it go this well, you know? Like, usually, I'm like, I don't, just like, let yourself age. With Kris, I'm like, give it to me, good.

• 46:23Speaker 03

  She's happy.

• 46:24Brooke Averick?

  She really is.

• 46:25Speaker 03

Do you wanna know if she's killed someone?

• 46:26Brooke Averick?

But I also saw, um, this preview for an episode of The Kardashians. They're doing this thing where they're like taking a test to figure out what their internal age is. So like,

• 46:38Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah, yeah.

• 46:38Brooke Averick?

Biologically, like, Kim is forty-something, but inside, she's in her thirties, and Khloe's in her twenties.

• 46:44Speaker 03

They did that on White Lotus.

• 46:46Brooke Averick?

  Huh?

• 46:47Speaker 03

They did that on White Lotus.

• 46:49Brooke Averick?

  I don't remember that.

• 46:50Speaker 03

And the women all came back and said that they told them all the same thing.

• 46:54Brooke Averick?

I do remember that, but I don't think it was the same thing. This was like, like through blood, I think.

• 46:59Speaker 03

  Oh, it's that spinny thing.

• 47:01Brooke Averick?

  This is like more doctor.

• 47:02Speaker 03

They take the blood out and they spin it.

• 47:04Brooke Averick?

Ooh, I became so aware of my blood last night.

• 47:09Speaker 03

  Ooh, Brooke, don't say that.

• 47:11Brooke Averick?

I am just a sack of blood.

• 47:14Speaker 03

  Oh, Brooke, come on.

• 47:15Brooke Averick?

  And so are you.

• 47:16Speaker 03

I know. It's so fucking weird that I have a skeleton.

• 47:20Brooke Averick?

So weird. If I were to puncture a hole in my skin, red liquid oozes out.

• 47:27Speaker 03

Uh, I don't want to get wet. I'm not swimming.

• 47:30Brooke Averick?

  I feel sick.

• 47:32Speaker 03

I don't want, like, we're full of liquid. Full of it.

• 47:36Brooke Averick?

  And organs.

• 47:38Speaker 03

No, okay, no, we're done now. We're done. Uh, let's talk about Invaders Him.

• 47:43Brooke Averick?

  Oh, what about him?

• 47:44Speaker 03

I thought about him the other day and about how absolutely inappropriate and scary that show was.

• 47:49Brooke Averick?

  I never cared for him.

• 47:50Speaker 03

Why was I watching a haunted, so scary show as a child?

• 47:54Brooke Averick?

Interesting, though. Him, too much. Courage the Cowardly Dog. That's hit the sweet spot.

• 48:00Speaker 03

  What?

• 48:01Brooke Averick?

I, it was like, like my Black Mirror.

• 48:06Speaker 03

Courage the Cowardly Dog is horrifying.

• 48:09Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it is, but like, it was the good kind of horrifying.

• 48:12Speaker 03

  No.

• 48:12Brooke Averick?

Him, I was like, this is freaky.

• 48:15Speaker 03

That one man, there's a man that shows up in Courage the Cowardly Dog. No, no, he's a man.

• 48:21Brooke Averick?

  I know, with the teeth?

• 48:22Speaker 03

  Man in a suit, and he's a.

• 48:24Brooke Averick?

The man in the suit with, yeah.

• 48:25Speaker 03

Can we pull up the man in the suit with the teeth? And I'm not, I'm not talking about The Weeknd. Oh, my heavens. And he was like a shapeshifter.

• 48:37Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, he was a shapeshifter.

• 48:39Speaker 03

This is nasty work. I don't like this at all.

• 48:41Brooke Averick?

  Wow. What's his name? Fred?

• 48:45Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 48:46Speaker 03

Well done. There's a fandom, by the way. We, let's, let's go. Can we, can we, in the bonus, go into the courage of Cowley Dog fandom?

• 48:53Brooke Averick?

I'd like to. I'd really like to.

• 48:55Speaker 03

Um, what is carbonation, by the way? Because how does a can, how does this liquid produce bubbles just out of them?

• 49:03Brooke Averick?

You know the, like, carbonating machines? It's like a certain type of, like, spinning that happens.

• 49:09Speaker 03

There's a lot of spinning happening on this episode of Broken Connor Make a Podcast.

• 49:13Brooke Averick?

You have to car- it doesn't, like, come carbonated. Like, you have to carbonate.

• 49:16Speaker 03

I know, but how are they producing bubbles out of nowhere?

• 49:18Brooke Averick?

  Air.

• 49:19Speaker 03

It's underwater. There's no air down there.

• 49:20Brooke Averick?

Air infusion. No, the bubbles are air pockets. I think.

• 49:25Speaker 03

How do you produce it? It's underwater. No, it's, there's bubbles coming out of this can that weren't in the can.

• 49:31Brooke Averick?

What are you talking? Yeah, but they do, before they can it up, they carbonate it. Let's watch a video on carbonation in the bonus.

• 49:41Speaker 03

  Oh my gosh. Guess what?

• 49:42Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 49:42Speaker 03

I'm starting reading your book on Friday.

• 49:45Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 49:45Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 49:47Brooke Averick?

  That's making me nauseous.

• 49:49Speaker 03

  Well, guess what?

• 49:50Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 49:51Speaker 03

I'm taking a bus with Jake Shane from Las Vegas to Vancouver. So I have time.

• 49:58Brooke Averick?

You do have time. But what you're about to read, like, it will, I still, like, need to want to make edits. So just know that it's, it's not the final. So if you're like, oh my God, like, I don't like this part. Maybe it will change.

• 50:11Speaker 03

  Maybe it will change.

• 50:12Brooke Averick?

I have a release date and I'm in the process of covers, neither of which I can reveal, but they are both in existence and in motion.

• 50:23Speaker 03

I want to see the covers.

• 50:24Brooke Averick?

  They're not done.

• 50:26Speaker 03

I want to see the release date.

• 50:28Brooke Averick?

Like, I'll tell it to you.

• 50:29Speaker 03

  You know it?

• 50:29Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 50:30Speaker 03

Okay, well, I have to start planning around that.

• 50:32Brooke Averick?

  Summer 2026.

• 50:34Speaker 03

Okay, good. I don't actually have any plans yet. But it will be wide open because I will be done touring.

• 50:41Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, a year.

• 50:44Speaker 03

One year. So much can change.

• 50:47Brooke Averick?

  Literally. I'm so excited.

• 50:51Speaker 03

We're gonna, so much is gonna happen in between now and summer 2026.

• 50:53Brooke Averick?

No, I know. I think 29 is it for me.

• 51:00Speaker 03

  Your last year?

• 51:00Brooke Averick?

I'm looking forward to it. No, not the my la- like, not the end, but the beginning.

• 51:05Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 51:06Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 51:06Speaker 03

It might be the end of me.

• 51:09Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 51:10Speaker 03

  I'm not depressed. I'm tired.

• 51:13Brooke Averick?

  Drained to completion?

• 51:14Speaker 03

We did a show in San Diego last night.

• 51:16Brooke Averick?

  How was it?

• 51:17Speaker 03

It was so fabulous. It was really cool because I had some college friends come. And obviously, I love when my college friends come to my shows, but it's my shows are like, I'll do like four shows with like 300 people at each show.

• 51:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 51:31Speaker 03

300 or 400 people. But to have every like, it was 1300 people.

• 51:36Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. 1300 people.

• 51:39Speaker 03

  Last night, sold out.

• 51:39Brooke Averick?

  Too many people.

• 51:40Speaker 03

1300. And it was just like,

• 51:45Speaker 03

probably one of the best sets I've ever done. And it was short. It was, it was like, I did like 16, 17 minutes. But it was cool to have like my college friends. Yeah, you do an hour on the shows. Like, it was cool to have my friends there and they're seeing this crowd. It's Jake's fans, but.

• 52:01Brooke Averick?

  That's even better, I think.

• 52:02Speaker 03

  Oh, it's.

• 52:02Brooke Averick?

It's like you're getting new fans.

• 52:05Speaker 03

Or if you bomb, no harm, no foul.

• 52:08Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, completely. Win-win.

• 52:11Speaker 03

It's kind of impossible to bomb in front of Jake's fans because they're just like so excited to be there. And like then.

• 52:18Brooke Averick?

  You could never bomb.

• 52:18Speaker 03

Then Jake comes out and it's like, they're like, who was the guy before? We don't even remember him being out here. But it was, it was great. It was so much fun.

• 52:26Brooke Averick?

  I bet they love you.

• 52:27Speaker 03

Yeah, it was cool to have my college friends that live in San Diego come to that show and.

• 52:33Speaker 03

Oh my God, you just farted out of your.

• 52:34Brooke Averick?

  Farted out of my throat.

• 52:39Speaker 03

  Should we call my dad?

• 52:42Brooke Averick?

My dad gave me really good advice. Did you see that?

• 52:46Speaker 03

Unreal advice. I wish you could read it.

• 52:49Brooke Averick?

  I can.

• 52:49Speaker 03

I wish you could step back from that ledge, my friend.

• 52:51Brooke Averick?

You want me to read it to you?

• 52:52Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 52:53Brooke Averick?

I was basically, I was talking to him about like the whole, you know, like dating pool and like hinge and just like how I've been feeling bad. And he's, and just like, I don't know, someone who I'm like, I could, I could never be with them. And my dad said, did I ever tell you the wisest words Uncle Rob ever said to me? And I said, I think so, but I forget. And so he said, should I call him and ask him to say it into the mic or do you think that's too much?

• 53:28Speaker 03

  You could do that.

• 53:29Brooke Averick?

  Make sure I'll do.

• 53:30Speaker 03

I think read it off and see if he, he says the same thing.

• 53:33Brooke Averick?

Okay. He said, "I met this girl after graduation. I thought she was way out of my league, but we started dating. I was insecure because she was so hot. So Uncle Rob asked me, "What makes you think she's any better than you?" And that was that. Because the truth is, it was on my head. That's it. The point is, nobody is better than you. It's the story you tell yourself. I dumped her."

• 53:59Speaker 03

  Period, period, period, period, period.

• 54:01Brooke Averick?

Period, period, period, period, period, period. So that's true. Who, literally, who was to say you're better than anyone? You're, what did he say? Yeah. Who's to say that anyone else is better than you? It's all in your head.

• 54:16Speaker 03

And she's touching his chest now. She takes off her dress now.

• 54:20Brooke Averick?

I'd give up forever to touch you.

• 54:22Speaker 03

Oof, that's a big, that's a big leap to take, especially coming out of heaven. Yikes.

• 55:27Brooke Averick?

Hey, I sent you this and you didn't answer. When I, obviously I've been obsessively scrolling through Hinge. Did you see you were on this man's profile?

• 55:35Speaker 03

Oh my god, you texted me that last night.

• 55:36Brooke Averick?

  Do you know him?

• 55:37Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 55:37Brooke Averick?

  Uh oh.

• 55:39Speaker 03

The amount of, the amount of dudes that put me on their profile on Hinge is really, really insane. And it will be, you have too? Okay, so is he seeing some?

• 55:46Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 55:47Speaker 03

Like, I will be just on, first picture on someone's Hinge and I'm like, guys.

• 55:53Brooke Averick?

People, like, that's flattering. Like, people are using you to get likes.

• 55:59Speaker 03

  I hope it's working.

• 56:00Brooke Averick?

I didn't like him because his profile was a lot about being out, like, he wanted someone. I didn't like him for his sake. He was like, I want someone-

• 56:07Speaker 03

The guy that she exed is one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen in my life, by the way.

• 56:11Brooke Averick?

Too gorgeous and his whole profile was like, I want someone that, like, loves to do and, like, be outside. And I was like, for you, like, it's just not gonna, it's not gonna work, champ.

• 56:21Speaker 03

I think he's talking about, like, Coachella.

• 56:23Brooke Averick?

We just weren't compatible. And I was just doing him a favor. But maybe who's to say that he is better than me? That's why I exed him. But who's to say?

• 56:35Speaker 03

You gotta give, give, give him a chance.

• 56:37Brooke Averick?

No, it was, I was just doing him a solid. It's like, you don't even need-

• 56:43Speaker 03

You're clinical, I'm checking you, we're going straight from here to the hospital.

• 56:48Brooke Averick?

I want to. I'm craving for you.

• 56:51Speaker 03

I can't believe you exed my friend and I was on the profile.

• 56:54Brooke Averick?

I mean, he's, you like him?

• 56:56Speaker 03

  I love him.

• 56:56Brooke Averick?

Yeah, he's too cute. He's the greatest guy.

• 56:59Speaker 03

He's so normal and so much fun.

• 57:00Brooke Averick?

  There's no way.

• 57:01Speaker 03

Yeah. Cause there's like a group of people right at the tail end of my time in, in here, in LA, that like I was hanging out with. And we became friends in one day.

• 57:10Brooke Averick?

I would also be more embarrassed, like, if he knew who I was. And was like, uh, uh, uh, does that make sense?

• 57:16Speaker 03

  So you exed

• 57:20Speaker 03

thinking he might know who you are?

• 57:22Brooke Averick?

It's just like, too much, Connor, it's all too much.

• 57:26Speaker 03

  Real.

• 57:27Brooke Averick?

  I'm about to call it.

• 57:29Speaker 03

  Call what?

• 57:29Brooke Averick?

  It.

• 57:31Speaker 03

No, you can't. What do you mean call it?

• 57:34Brooke Averick?

Just, I'm just about to call it.

• 57:38Speaker 03

I've really been suffering with eye bags recently.

• 57:43Brooke Averick?

Maybe you could get an eye cream.

• 57:46Speaker 03

  These bags are designer.

• 57:48Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I actually like the one like ailment I've never had on my face is like eye bags really.

• 57:55Speaker 03

  That's incredible because.

• 57:57Brooke Averick?

I had rosacea, which I kind of want.

• 57:59Speaker 03

If I sleep one hour, I've been getting rosacea every time.

• 58:02Brooke Averick?

  I love like rosy cheeks.

• 58:03Speaker 03

Every time I have a drink now, I have like an allergic reaction to my cheeks.

• 58:06Brooke Averick?

  That's so cute.

• 58:08Speaker 03

Well, it was funny the other day. So I was doing a meet and greet and I was having my, I was having a beer. And this girl was like, oh my gosh, like I can't, when I got up here, you started really blushing. And I was like, I'm having an allergic reaction to this alcohol.

• 58:23Brooke Averick?

I don't blush because like my skin tone doesn't really support it. I don't know. It's just like not something that happens to me. But I was blushing last Friday.

• 58:36Speaker 03

I cannot wait to see that so bad.

• 58:39Brooke Averick?

Same. Oh my God, you might meet my cats today.

• 58:43Speaker 03

  Facts.

• 58:46Speaker 03

  I'm looking forward to it.

• 58:47Brooke Averick?

Yeah, they have been asking for you.

• 58:48Speaker 03

  I can't, I have not met.

• 58:50Brooke Averick?

You have not met even John. It's like getting worse in our house. Just John like is only sticking to elevated surfaces now.

• 58:59Speaker 03

You found one of his nails in Rob's fur.

• 59:04Brooke Averick?

I don't know what that was.

• 59:05Speaker 03

  Can nails fall out?

• 59:06Brooke Averick?

  I don't, I don't think that was a, I don't know what that was.

• 59:09Speaker 03

That might've been like one of your toenails.

• 59:11Brooke Averick?

I found Rob's and it was not my toenail.

• 59:12Speaker 03

  It could be a toenail.

• 59:13Brooke Averick?

I thought I, it was not a toenail.

• 59:15Speaker 03

Where do you clip your toenails?

• 59:19Speaker 03

Where do you clip your toenails?

• 59:20Brooke Averick?

Oh, it's not gonna be a good answer and I don't even want to say it because it's gonna get heat.

• 59:27Brooke Averick?

  Cause it's, it's bad and I, I think it's bad.

• 59:30Speaker 03

It's not like you're bad, right?

• 59:31Brooke Averick?

No, hold on. Let me Google how bad it is before I share.

• 59:36Speaker 03

It's gonna be like onto your carpet and then do you vacuum them? Wait, where, where could? Well, I'm, I'm suggesting these that I think are kind of bad and I clip mine.

• 59:46Brooke Averick?

It says, uh, the place that I clip them into is not recommended.

• 59:50Speaker 03

  Is it the bathtub?

• 59:53Brooke Averick?

  I can't say.

• 59:55Speaker 03

Can you just mouth it to me and cover your mouth?

• 59:59Speaker 03

Can you mouth it to me and cover your mouth?

• 1:00:02Brooke Averick?

Oh wait, on Reddit it says this is the best method.

• 1:00:05Speaker 03

Don't get on Reddit. Don't, don't give Reddit a single daily active user, please, today.

• 1:00:11Brooke Averick?

Hmm. It's not, it's frowned upon.

• 1:00:15Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:00:15Brooke Averick?

And I won't do it again.

• 1:00:16Speaker 03

  Where?

• 1:00:18Brooke Averick?

I mean, I'm just gonna tell you.

• 1:00:22Speaker 03

That's fine. I don't know how you do that, though.

• 1:00:26Speaker 03

Just say it. That's totally, that's like...

• 1:00:29Brooke Averick?

  Into the toilet?

• 1:00:36Brooke Averick?

It, it will, it's like, they're not, you, biodegradable.

• 1:00:40Speaker 03

  What?

• 1:00:40Brooke Averick?

  Your nails, right?

• 1:00:42Speaker 03

  Nails are-

• 1:00:43Brooke Averick?

You just kind of put the pieces together. Like-

• 1:00:44Speaker 03

  Nails are biodegradable.

• 1:00:46Brooke Averick?

  No, they're not.

• 1:00:50Speaker 03

  Really?

• 1:00:50Brooke Averick?

  I, yeah, I, I won't do it again, everyone.

• 1:00:53Speaker 03

  Wait, are nails biodegradable?

• 1:00:56Brooke Averick?

Maybe it's the same as like flushing tampons?

• 1:00:58Speaker 03

  Yes, nails are biodegradable.

• 1:00:59Brooke Averick?

  That's freaking fine, then!

• 1:01:00Speaker 03

They're composed of keratin, a protein that can break down over time, especially in compost or certain types of soil.

• 1:01:05Brooke Averick?

Oh, it can take several years. So it's probably not good, and I'm sorry.

• 1:01:07Speaker 03

Like to put into the pipes. I mean, that being said, I, I clip mine in the shower because that's where I do all my, like, when I take an everything shower, it includes clipping my toenails.

• 1:01:15Brooke Averick?

I don't really clip my toenails. I feel like I just get pedicures.

• 1:01:19Speaker 03

I can't get pedicures because I'm really scared I'm gonna kick a woman in the face.

• 1:01:22Brooke Averick?

  I don't like getting manicured.

• 1:01:23Speaker 03

  Or a man, if it's-

• 1:01:24Brooke Averick?

Because I can't be on my phone.

• 1:01:27Speaker 03

I, they start scraping my bunions. And I'm like, I, I needed, please don't, please don't do that one. I told you guys don't touch my big toe. Leave my big toe out of it. Leave everything you thought about my big toe at the door.

• 1:01:38Brooke Averick?

  Hmm.

• 1:01:39Speaker 03

Because you cannot be scraping at my big toe.

• 1:01:43Brooke Averick?

The saddest moment in my, ew. The saddest moment in my life is when I stopped, like, feeling so tickly at the scraper on my heel.

• 1:01:51Speaker 03

  I have it still.

• 1:01:53Brooke Averick?

I'm still tickly, but like, it's not unbearable anymore, which means that my, my heels are roughening with age.

• 1:01:59Speaker 03

I have the child like wandering. It's all stored in my heel, I guess.

• 1:02:02Brooke Averick?

I give up forever to touch you.

• 1:02:05Speaker 03

I guess when you're pure of heart, the ticklish never goes away.

• 1:02:07Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:02:08Speaker 03

  In your heel.

• 1:02:09Brooke Averick?

  That's so true.

• 1:02:10Speaker 03

Or maybe I'm storing a lot of trauma in my heels.

• 1:02:14Brooke Averick?

Ooh, or what's the, there's like, isn't there that thing in like, non-traditional medicine where like each part of your foot relates to a part of your body?

• 1:02:23Speaker 03

I wanna know if that's real. I wanna know if that's real.

• 1:02:25Brooke Averick?

I mean, it's as real as like.

• 1:02:27Speaker 03

It reflexology, I think is what it's called.

• 1:02:30Brooke Averick?

  No, that's different.

• 1:02:32Speaker 03

No, I think it's foot reflexology.

• 1:02:35Brooke Averick?

I think this is more like Chinese medicine. No?

• 1:02:39Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:02:40Brooke Averick?

  I don't know. What's the heel?

• 1:02:45Speaker 03

  Lower back.

• 1:02:47Brooke Averick?

Wait, I do, I, I have something to share with you in terms of your, a diagnosis for you. You know how everyone thinks you have Ehlers-Dawson, and I don't know how to pronounce it?

• 1:02:56Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:02:57Brooke Averick?

Apparently like, back problems and joint problems are really common with that, which I do know because of fourth.

• 1:03:04Speaker 03

Oh my god, am I gonna die?

• 1:03:05Brooke Averick?

No, you're not gonna die. The main character has it and like she, her joints are constantly slipping out. But I really think it's something you should look into. Because you could maybe figure out how to manage it. But it's not a death sentence.

• 1:03:17Speaker 03

Okay, good lord. A lot of people have been very helpful, although no one has shared the same answer twice.

• 1:03:22Brooke Averick?

But I think you should look into that, cuz.

• 1:03:25Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:03:25Brooke Averick?

You do have some of the, a lot of the.

• 1:03:28Speaker 03

  Eee.

• 1:03:29Brooke Averick?

  Criteria.

• 1:03:29Speaker 03

It's so unfortunate to learn that you have a chronic illness.

• 1:03:33Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:03:34Speaker 03

On a podcast too, and on your podcast.

• 1:03:36Brooke Averick?

But the good news is maybe you could get something sorted out.

• 1:03:40Speaker 03

Man, it all started as a joke. Like, look how stretchy my cheeks are, and now I'm in chronic pain.

• 1:03:45Brooke Averick?

  Ah, I'm sorry.

• 1:03:47Speaker 03

It's okay. It's actually been like, pretty fine. I mean, like, what I'm feeling, it would not be fine for someone, but like, for me, it's great. I was in the gym in Oklahoma City, and, yeah, I was in the gym in Oklahoma City. And I had a back spasm. Clip that, just, let's clip that.

• 1:04:07Brooke Averick?

  Clip it.

• 1:04:08Speaker 03

Um, and I had a back spasm, and I had to lay a very certain way, and it really looked like I had fallen off of a piece of equipment.

• 1:04:16Speaker 03

And Xavier came in and was like. You good? Like, he was like, oh, and he took a picture, but I was just stretching. But it did look like I had like fallen from a great height and landed weird. I had like my leg over my, oh shit. Hey Kenny. Oh my God, you scared me. You're so cool. Kenny's so tall, but he moves in silence.

• 1:04:35Brooke Averick?

Very. What's the word I'm looking for? Agile?

• 1:04:40Speaker 03

  Docile.

• 1:04:41Brooke Averick?

  Not docile.

• 1:04:42Speaker 03

  Strategic.

• 1:04:44Brooke Averick?

  Sneaky.

• 1:04:45Speaker 03

  Cute.

• 1:04:48Brooke Averick?

Okay, man, you wanna go to the bonus?

• 1:04:50Speaker 03

Yeah, I do, to be, to be fair and honest.

• 1:04:53Brooke Averick?

Okay, well, it was great seeing you.

• 1:04:55Speaker 03

  I'll see you tomorrow.

• 1:04:56Brooke Averick?

And I'll see you tomorrow, too.

• 1:04:57Speaker 03

We're recording another episode in person tomorrow, and that'll be next week, so wishing everybody the best. Happy holidays, if you celebrate.

• 1:05:05Brooke Averick?

It is Memorial Day weekend coming up.

• 1:05:08Speaker 03

  Yeah, I'm working.

• 1:05:10Brooke Averick?

  Like a dog?

• 1:05:11Speaker 03

Like a damn dog. Thanks, guys. See you later.

• 1:05:16Brooke Averick?

  See ya.

• 1:05:24Speaker 01
