Usually the conversation around here is about football. Today, the topic is gas for one of the sponsors, specifically Mobil Supreme Plus Premium Gasoline. Let's start with the fact that Mobil Supreme Plus Premium is amazing. It keeps engines three times cleaner, so engines perform better for better gas mileage. Just ask motorsports legend Shirley Chacha Muldowney. She raced top fuel dragsters in the 70s. So she knows a thing or two about gasoline. She also knows a thing or two about the 70s. So if there are any questions about leisure suits, vinyl, or fondue, fire away. One might wonder why they call her Chacha. Like, is it a family name or a marketing ploy? Or maybe she thought it sounded cool? It's very curious. Getting back to fuel, Shirley and the team highly recommend Mobil Supreme Plus Premium Gas

• 0:43Speaker 00

because it keeps engines three times cleaner for better performance and gas mileage. By the way, Chacha Muldowney, she drove a pink car. Mobil, legendary. Three times cleaner compared to Mobil regular gas and port fuel-injected engines. Actual results may vary. Visit mobilfuels.com for details.

They say everything happens for a reason, but I suspect everything happens for a Reese's. Like this commercial break. Did you need 15 seconds away from music? Or 15 seconds to eat a Reese's? Perhaps it's true. Everything happens for a Reese's.

• 1:15Travis Kelce?

Thank you to our sponsor, Colgate Total.

• 1:18Speaker 03

On offense, it's important to prevent problems from the moment the ball is snapped.

• 1:23Travis Kelce?

That's true. Otherwise, you're just out there running cardio. You can't get open for a big play.

• 1:29Speaker 03

But it's not just football. There's a lot of things you need to prevent before they start.

• 1:33Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, like in your mouth.

• 1:35Speaker 03

  My mouth specifically?

• 1:37Travis Kelce?

I mean, probably yours too, but I'm talking everybody's mouth. There's bacteria in there that can lead to oral health problems like cavities, gingivitis.

• 1:48Speaker 03

Right, yeah, all the nasty stuff. But the good news is you can prevent these problems before they start with Colgate Total Active Prevention. It's like having a good offensive line for your mouth.

• 1:59Travis Kelce?

Ooh, exactly. With twice daily brushing, Colgate Total prevents oral health problems like cavities and gingivitis.

• 2:07Speaker 03

And it's not just one contributing player either. It's a whole system. Toothpaste, mouthwash, and a special toothbrush.

• 2:15Travis Kelce?

Now that's the squad you want fighting for your mouth.

• 2:17Speaker 03

Colgate Total is like having a full playbook in your bathroom, working to help prevent oral health problems before they start.

• 2:29Travis Kelce?

Oh, man. Starting to get a little chilly out here, Jason. Starting to get a little nippy.

• 2:34Speaker 03

  Kids are seeing it?

• 2:36Travis Kelce?

  It's my kinda.

• 2:37Speaker 03

  Nature's thermostat?

• 2:38Travis Kelce?

  Big.

• 2:38Speaker 03

  Nature's thermometer?

• 2:40Travis Kelce?

  A little nippy.

• 2:41Speaker 03

Telling you to put that sweatshirt on?

• 2:43Travis Kelce?

Oh, it's been on. It's been on since the summer. Can't take this thing off. Be like 40 year old version. I'll have like fucking scabs and like blood everywhere.

• 2:52Speaker 03

• 3:51Speaker 03

  Uncle Woody's baby.

• 3:51Travis Kelce?

Natty's got to get back on the wind drain though, because they got.

We got a fantastic episode ready for you guys right now. We're going to talk about the Chiefs getting back in the win column against the Panthers. Saquon Barkley and the Eagles running wild in LA, as well as everything else from a chaotic Week 12 in the NFL. And we're finally gonna be reviewing Roadhouse. That's right. Roadhouse is gonna get reviewed officially on New Heights.

• 4:29Travis Kelce?

  Ah, dude, swayzy, man.

• 4:31Speaker 03

Dude, we're gonna get to it. I mean, I don't know what's more chiseled, his jaw or his butt cheeks.

• 4:36Travis Kelce?

Dude, that mane that he has? Holy shit.

• 4:39Speaker 03

  But first, as always.

• 4:42Speaker 03

  New news.

• 4:43Travis Kelce?

  New news.

• 4:45Speaker 03

New news is brought to you by Amazon Prime.

• 4:47Travis Kelce?

  Hey, all right, Amazon.

• 4:49Speaker 03

  To holiday magic.

• 4:50Travis Kelce?

Late night show announcement on Jimmy Kim alive last week. We found out that Jason will host they call it late night with Jason Kelce on ESPN. How about that? Speaking of ESPN, baby, jumping right into it. Jason, man, I, what is this? Where does this inspiration come from?

• 5:07Speaker 03

Well, I was trying to figure out what to do now that I'm retired and I thought it'd be fun. So honestly, the way it thought about is I thought it'd be fun to have a live music and to do something in front of a like live setting of people.

• 5:22Travis Kelce?

  Okay.

• 5:23Speaker 03

And I was like, what has that? I was like, oh yeah, late night shows have that because when I think of the NFL, I think of like those old iconic NFL songs that like just make you feel like you're in the middle of football. Right? And I thought it'd be cool to have a band play some of that music, celebrate the game.

• 5:42Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah. Yeah.

• 5:43Speaker 03

You know, the one thing everybody says you miss when you get tired or when you get, when you retire. I guess you are kind of tired. The one thing everybody says you miss when you retire is being around the guys. And I mean, it could not be more true. Like you miss the locker room so much. You miss being around coaches. I miss just hearing coaches.

• 6:01Travis Kelce?

  Miss those lectures.

• 6:03Speaker 03

And I think this is a fun way to be like, hey, once a week for, uh, for five weeks, we're going to do five episodes of this show and we're going to have a panel. We're going to have a bunch of former players, uh, head coaches, maybe a current player. The season will be over at that point for some guys. So.

• 6:16Travis Kelce?

  Pick me, pick me.

• 6:17Speaker 03

I mean, Trav, you are more than welcome to come on the show. We would love to have you. I know you're a busy guy. I know you're a busy guy. Uh, but I think, I think it's going to be a lot of fun. It's going to be filmed in Philly. The title, they call it late night is an ode to, uh, John Facenda, uh, in the first NFL films recording ever where he could said, they call it pro football. So, yeah, he's pretty cool.

• 6:38Travis Kelce?

All right now, we're going to make it make sense. Um, what was your favorite, uh, late night like show or even host growing up?

• 6:46Speaker 03

Growing up, it was Conan. We used to go to Nolan Plunkett's house.

• 6:49Travis Kelce?

You're a Conan guy? I've never knew this.

• 6:52Speaker 03

I've always loved Conan. I mean, I'm like, I like any of those late night shows to be honest with you.

• 6:57Travis Kelce?

Me and, me and Zach always joke around like, hey, bro, you fuck with Conan? He's so good, man. So always. Yeah.

• 7:06Speaker 03

Dude, we used to, we used to be at the Plunkets at like a sleepover or something like that because we all had like hockey practice in the morning or some tournament and we would be up as kids like watching Conan on like the little TV up in the attic.

• 7:18Travis Kelce?

  Dude, I remember this. Yeah.

• 7:19Speaker 03

So anyways, I don't know why we.

• 7:21Travis Kelce?

Shout out to the Plunkets, man. I love it. Shout out to the.

• 7:24Speaker 03

Definitely Don. Yeah. So I love Conan growing up. I mean, I got to see Jimmy Kimmel this past week and.

• 7:30Travis Kelce?

  Dude, the best.

• 7:31Speaker 03

I thought it was absurd. It was hilarious. Yeah. Jimmy was the man, offered tons of advice.

• 7:37Travis Kelce?

Yeah, he really is the best.

• 7:38Speaker 03

Around all day. So to be able to go on his show and promote my show that's coming out, but also you just go there and talk to him, you know, get all the ins and outs of like how to run a late night show, how to, you know, how you're talking to the camera, how, what, how you choose topics, you know, how you prepare, like it was, it was honestly a very, very beneficial trip to take.

• 8:03Travis Kelce?

I believe it, man. Got to, got the pleasure of meeting Jimmy over the summer, man. What a guy. Great dude. And you could tell he's, uh, he's one of the best in the business for a reason, man.

• 8:11Speaker 03

No doubt. And with that, the other piece of new news is Jumanji works. I told you guys, it works.

• 8:21Travis Kelce?

  Put it on.

• 8:22Speaker 03

Ninety-eight percent of the time works every time.

• 8:24Travis Kelce?

Who would have thought Jumanji works as good as like Marvin Gaye, man? Fuck.

• 8:28Speaker 03

Hey, listen, it works better than Marvin Gaye.

• 8:33Speaker 03

Yeah, we have our fourth child on the way. It is another girl. I am very good at producing little girls and we are very excited. Kylie Kelsey posted this. I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister. At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page. Yep. I think that's a pretty accurate representation.

• 8:58Speaker 03

Ellie is happy. She's no longer the middle child. Wyatt is like, this is too much. And Benny is not, no longer the baby in a few weeks, in a few months. So, but yeah, no, we're pumped.

• 9:09Travis Kelce?

This is awesome, man. This is awesome.

• 9:12Speaker 03

Obviously super excited. I just love my daughters so much. The fact that we're going to be getting another one is beyond exciting.

• 9:18Travis Kelce?

  Nice.

• 9:20Speaker 03

I think, you know, we'll see. This might be it. Might, might be, might be the last.

• 9:27Speaker 03

  Hurrah.

• 9:28Travis Kelce?

Yeah, I think, uh, I think four beautiful little girls is, uh, is very magical.

• 9:34Speaker 03

  Good number.

• 9:34Travis Kelce?

Yeah, I think it's awesome, man.

• 9:36Speaker 03

  Before we started having kids.

• 9:37Travis Kelce?

Always go for the starting five, though. You can always go for the starting five and just, you know,

• 9:42Travis Kelce?

just feel, you can go for, just feel them in field, you know?

• 9:46Speaker 03

Before we started having them, we, uh, I always said three and Kylie said five, but I don't know if she's feeling that anymore. I think she's like, okay, I've had my, I'm done.

• 9:55Travis Kelce?

It's a lot of work. I can only imagine.

• 9:57Speaker 03

  I mean, I'm really.

• 9:58Travis Kelce?

Back to back to back like that.

• 9:59Speaker 03

It is, it is grueling for me. I, I have to do a lot of work.

• 10:04Travis Kelce?

You're ridiculous. Fuck out of here. I'll let you do this to Kylie like that. You know nothing, Jason.

• 10:13Speaker 03

  No, Kai's killing it.

• 10:14Travis Kelce?

No, she's, she always is and, uh, Excited to be a new little, little, little baby niece. It'll be beautiful, man.

• 10:22Speaker 03

I want this baby to come out happy and healthy, just like.

• 10:25Travis Kelce?

That's all you can ever ask for.

• 10:27Speaker 03

All you can ask for. Very, very excited about welcoming another child to our already chaotic household.

• 10:38Travis Kelce?

More chaos. That's what I'm here for.

• 10:41Speaker 03

Benny is so cute right now. The fact that there's going to be another little bitty.

• 10:44Travis Kelce?

She looks absolutely adorable in this picture. I'd love it.

• 10:47Speaker 03

  She's, it's, yeah, you'll see. She's at a good stage right now.

• 10:53Travis Kelce?

I love that, man. You, uh, you can actually hear more about the Kelsey family on Kylie's new podcast.

• 10:59Speaker 03

That's right. Kai, killing it. Said she's tired of not being able to voice things herself.

• 11:05Travis Kelce?

Well, now she has the outlet. Shout out to Wave, uh, for teaming up with her and, uh, and giving her not gonna lie, which I heard might change depending on, uh, how things go. And, uh, excited to hear her talk about motherhood and, uh, just whatever the fuck is going on over there in the Kelsey household.

• 11:21Speaker 03

  It'll be good.

• 11:21Travis Kelce?

  Love it, man.

• 11:22Speaker 03

People have been dying to get more of Kelsey's opinion. So they're gonna get it. You asked for it. You're gonna get it.

• 11:28Travis Kelce?

  I love it, man.

• 11:29Speaker 03

And that does it for new news. Brought to you by Amazon Prime. That's right. Become a Prime member today and get more out of whatever passions you're pursuing. Whatever you're into, it's on prime.

• 11:39Speaker 01

  Oh yeah, it is.

• 11:41Speaker 03

All right, let's move on to some football. How about that? All right, let's get into some bold topics to wrap up week 13 in the NFL. Man, it's already week 13. How crazy is that?

• 11:52Speaker 03

It's week 12. Bold topics to wrap up week 12 in the NFL. Wow. All right, let's get to probably the one that we got to talk about the most, which is Chiefs recap. That's right. Chiefs 30, Panthers 27. Traf, initial thoughts?

• 12:10Travis Kelce?

Um, yeah, that was a pretty good Panthers team, man. They, um,

• 12:15Speaker 03

They've been playing a lot better.

• 12:16Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 12:16Speaker 03

Shout out to Bryce Young. What a great story.

• 12:19Travis Kelce?

You love to see it, man. You love to see it. Obviously don't love to see it when it happens when you're playing, but still love to see it, man. Good guy. Heard a lot of great things about him.

• 12:29Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 12:30Travis Kelce?

And just being a ball player and being a good person and a good teammate. So, uh, love to see that for him. He's playing well. He kind of turned the narrative from the beginning of the season and he's got those guys playing really well on offense. And they, uh, they, they went toe to toe with Pat Mahomes, man.

• 12:46Speaker 03

Toe to toe. Yes, they did. Uh, you guys have had a number of teams go toe to toe with you. You have had five walk off wins this year. That is crazy.

• 12:55Travis Kelce?

  It is crazy.

• 12:56Speaker 03

Like complete walk offs. Baltimore, Cincinnati, Tampa Bay, Denver, and now Carolina. The Chiefs are eight and oh in one score games. The best mark in the NFL and only unbeaten in one score games. I mean, listen, that's the Mahomes effect right there, baby.

• 13:13Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 13:14Speaker 03

I mean, if he gets the ball, uh, with an opportunity to win the game at the end of it, it is, I mean, I guess eight times it's happened so far this year. It's gone in the Chiefs favor. Yeah, Mahomes on close games. You always want to have some blowouts. And be a little calmer in the fourth quarter, but I've always said it could be a good thing, but I've always said it could be a good thing when you get to the playoffs later in the season. But I would say this more than anybody. I would love to win a game, not by the very last play. Yep, I think that makes sense. Um, but I also get what he's saying. I think we all do. The reality is playoffs come down to one score games and the better you are in those situations, in those crucial moments, and this is why you guys have been so successful. At the end of the day, because two minutes on the line, Pat has the ball, pretty good chance

• 13:59Speaker 03

he's going to execute pretty well, pretty good chance your entire team's going to execute really well.

• 14:03Travis Kelce?

Yeah. And, uh, and, and that's what, that's what it was for, uh, the majority of the game is I think it was a full, it was a team win. Uh, everybody kind of playing better together. I think we, uh, we walked away with three more times than, uh, than you would like, but at the end of the day, Pat Mahomes, uh, huge run in the fourth quarter, um, on that last drive. Big time blocks by, uh, J Watt. He had kind of two of them where he bumped a guy and then went out and got the, uh, the seal so that pack could, uh, or the spring where it pack could, uh, cut upfield and, um, and get a bunch, a bunch of yards. So it was a, it was a fun game to be a part of. There was a lot of like, kind of learning moments, um, on top of, uh,

• 14:45Travis Kelce?

you know, us actually going out there, making some plays and, uh, both in the run game and pass game. I thought it was a nice balanced attack and, uh, Coach Reed was dialing those things up, baby.

• 14:54Speaker 03

Well, speaking of Coach Reed, uh, in his post-game speech, he said, uh, so look, I don't want to see anybody hanging their head, men. This league is crazy. You saw it yesterday with college football. Nothing's given to you and you're going to get their best shot. That's right. So keep your heads up, men, and you get this thing rolling. We've got some things we've got to clean up. Winning is the most important thing right now and you guys bared down and got it done. Yep. I mean, listen, that's been the story of the season for the Chiefs. As we said before, the game came down to a walk-off field goal. After a 33-yard Pat Mahomes run, Spencer Schrader hits the walk-off winner. That's right. In for the injured Buck Kerr.

• 15:32Travis Kelce?

  Schrader.

• 15:33Speaker 03

This was his first game winner, uh, three for three on field goals and three for three on extra points. Look at Pat scooting, getting them hips in there.

• 15:41Travis Kelce?

That boy's out there sliding. He actually, you see the separation right there. Pat can scoot now. I want you to watch J Watt on this play though. He's uh, he's after, he's at the bottom left part of your screen. When Pat starts running, hits that guy on the, and then, and then just gets a piece of the guy that was in the flat and.

• 15:56Speaker 03

  Gets two.

• 15:57Travis Kelce?

Gets two and you don't need to get a lot, man. When, when you got a guy out of the pocket, you don't need to get a lot. Cause Pat's gonna do a lot with his eyes and he's gonna do a lot with the deception of a speed and that was such a huge play. And uh, who, who would have thought that a veteran like J Watt would have been savvy enough to get two, man? Every good guy gets one. Every great man gets two.

• 16:17Speaker 03

That's one of the things I love watching. I love watching block, people that start blocking. That's not a designed play. Like they just like find work. Yeah. I mean, that is what some of my favorite stuff. Cause it's so, it's like, it's so unselfish and it makes such a difference all the time, routinely.

• 16:35Travis Kelce?

  Every time.

• 16:36Speaker 03

So, uh, love seeing that. Shout out to J Watt. Do we have this clip of uh, Schrader hitting a ref in the head? What's this? I didn't see this.

• 16:42Travis Kelce?

Oh, after the extra point, yeah.

• 16:44Speaker 03

  It's on purpose?

• 16:45Travis Kelce?

Nah, it was just a very unfortunate uh, like hit off the net, just fucking bink.

• 16:51Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 16:52Travis Kelce?

Boink. That's unfortunate for the ref, yeah.

• 16:54Speaker 03

Yeah, I mean, I mean, not cool. Uh, all right. Let's do some Chiefs offensive highlights. Noah Gray, man. Back to back weeks with two touchdowns. You've been high on Noah for a long time. You've been speaking and praising uh, how talented he is.

• 17:10Travis Kelce?

  So good, man.

• 17:11Speaker 03

He's coming off of a couple of weeks here.

• 17:13Travis Kelce?

Yeah. I think he's got uh, he's got like four touchdowns in the last like six quarter or five quarters. Nice. I can't say enough about the teammate he is, the guy he is, the professionalism when he walks in the building. He's in it wholeheartedly. All, all of his focus is on one goal and that's to make the team better. And he's been that guy since he's been in the locker room. He got a big signing bonus or I mean, he got a big contract. Uh, in the beginning of the season, uh, to show him, you know, that the Chiefs wanted him here for a long time and um, and it's fun to see him just take off right now. And I've been, I've been praising, I've been saying it for. The past two, three years, I think we need to get him more incorporated in the offense in terms of like

• 17:56Travis Kelce?

throwing and making him the primary and things like that because he's got such a good feel. He sees the defense. He understands the defense. And he feels those, those voids very well, you know, when we need it most cover zero and a second touchdown. Pat comes up to the line, changes the play, tells Noah to run a post. And sure enough, physical at the top of his route, knowing the guy's going to hold on because it's zero and he's going to play, he's going to play with heavy hands. And he just snaps off and goes up top and snags it. Man, and I'll tell you, man, those kinds of plays. When you see a guy keep rising to the occasion, time after time, whether it's in the pass game, the run game, the pass blocking game, you know, wherever you need this guy to make a play, he's going to make a play for you.

• 18:38Travis Kelce?

You're, you're going to keep seeing A three show up, not only in the scoreboard, but on the highlights, man.

• 18:43Speaker 03

Yeah, baby. And then a play of the game. Tershon Wharton. Show this one while walking off the field, Chiefs D tackle, Tershon Wharton caught a kid falling out of the stands trying to get an autograph.

• 18:57Travis Kelce?

Damn Turk. I actually saw this and I, I just kept it moving. I felt bad after, once I found out.

• 19:03Speaker 03

  You saw this?

• 19:04Travis Kelce?

Yeah, I saw. I'm like over to the left.

• 19:06Speaker 03

I didn't even see you right there.

• 19:08Travis Kelce?

I, I'm like, oh shit, damn Turk, you got him? Hell yeah, Turk's got him.

• 19:16Travis Kelce?

I haven't seen this video though. Everybody back to your seats. Man, this is so funny. Jesus. I mean, I don't know who the, uh, who the brainiac was to cut the railing right there. I don't. You see how there was like that little gap?

• 19:34Speaker 03

There is that like little gap, just enough for like a kid.

• 19:36Travis Kelce?

  The fuck is that for?

• 19:37Speaker 03

I don't know. Maybe, maybe the Panthers are anti kids.

• 19:40Travis Kelce?

Dude, he should fucking go to school with a neck brace on and sue the fucking Panthers.

• 19:46Travis Kelce?

  Get rich quick, kid.

• 19:48Speaker 03

  Shout out to Zushan.

• 19:49Travis Kelce?

Shout out to Turk for, uh, for making sure that the little guy was all right. I, once I saw Turk was over there, I knew everything was good.

• 19:55Speaker 03

Yeah. Um, dude, Jason, oh, the Panthers apology. I think I do. I was, I was crapping all over the Panthers. I thought they were the worst team in the NFL, uh, not too long ago. And all of a sudden they're starting to play pretty good football.

• 20:05Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 20:05Speaker 03

Bryce Young, dude, we talked about a second ago, um, getting benched earlier this year. There's a lot of people talking about it's over in Carolina. He's going to end up being someplace else. 21, 35, 262, a touch time. It's not like, and isn't an insane stat line. That's pretty dang good. I mean, he played you guys pretty well, especially for being the, the defense that you guys are.

• 20:26Travis Kelce?

Might not even be the stats. I mean, obviously the stats are solid, but I think it was the big time moments. He was ready for cover zero when, uh, when it, when it was, when it was thrown at him. He had, he had answers. He had, uh, he had an understanding of where he was going with the ball before the snap. You could tell with his feet and his timing and everything. And, uh, sure enough, those Panthers receivers, the young Panthers receivers were up there fucking making plays, man. And, um, and made it hard for us and they got a great run game, man.

• 20:52Speaker 03

Travis, you got a Rip Hamilton shout out. How about that?

• 20:55Travis Kelce?

It's my dog, man. Got to, got to meet him over at, uh, F1 Miami, uh, over the summer, man. What a guy. Growing up, watching him, uh, throughout his entire stint in the NFL. I mean, NBA, what's that?

• 21:07Speaker 03

All I think is that face mask.

• 21:08Travis Kelce?

Dude, iconic, absolutely iconic. You know why they call him Rip?

• 21:13Speaker 03

Why, uh, I, I, I thought that was his name.

• 21:16Travis Kelce?

Yeah, no, it's, uh, it's the sound of the net. Rip the.

• 21:24Speaker 03

  That's a good reason. That's a great name if you're a basketball player.

• 21:26Travis Kelce?

Such a good name. Yes. And it, and he was nothing but net every single time. And he had some sweet Jordans on. He played with the Wizards for a while and, uh, and played with Jordan, I believe. And sure enough, the goat made sure he was, he was set with the kicks, baby. And, uh, being a fellow, uh, PE Jordan athlete now, myself on the field, uh, still, uh, repping Nike as always and forever. I thought it was pretty cool to, to rock the old Rip City 12s, man, during week 12 of the, uh, NFL season.

• 21:52Speaker 03

Rip City. Trav, do you, uh, have any final thoughts from this past week?

• 21:56Travis Kelce?

Any final thoughts? Um, feels good to get double digit wins, uh, on top of that, um.

• 22:04Travis Kelce?

You know, I think we're still growing as a, as a team. I think, uh, Coach Reed got in front of the team last week before the Panthers game and, and mentioned, you know, just playing together all three phases, you know, however that looks, let's work on just being complimentary football. You know, when it's big time, third downs, defense gets stops. When it's big time, third downs or red zone opportunities as an offense, we score touchdowns, um, special teams, spark plays, big time plays in the, um, special teams and, uh, and everybody just be accountable. Limit these penalties, man. These penalties are only making our job harder. And, uh, and I think it's, uh, I think it's great and it feels good when you, when you come out victorious, when you're all playing together, you know, and you can feel that

• 22:48Travis Kelce?

synergy when it happens. And, um, yeah, it just feels good to get the double digit wins, baby.

• 22:53Speaker 03

Well, before we move on, let's talk about some career milestones. Travis Kelce passed Antonio Gates to become the third all time receiving yards leader as a tight end. Only Tony Gonzalez.

• 23:04Travis Kelce?

You know, I've been waiting for this to happen so that this never happens again because I'm not touching.

• 23:09Speaker 03

  You're not catching Jason.

• 23:10Travis Kelce?

  Tony Gonzalez.

• 23:11Speaker 03

I mean, Tony is, I mean, that's such an absurd.

• 23:14Travis Kelce?

  There's no chance.

• 23:15Speaker 03

  Level. Yeah.

• 23:16Travis Kelce?

There's no chance. No, but seriously, um, shout out to Antonio Gates, man.

• 23:21Speaker 03

  Fuck.

• 23:22Travis Kelce?

Little Mac, Mac basketball. You kidding me? Some Mac basketball turned NFL tight end NFL superstar. Um, so cool. Uh, I remember watching Antonio Gates when I was in middle school and obviously throughout the entire NFL career and even playing against the big guy, man. He's an absolute legend. Learned a lot from just watching his game on, on, on film and then playing against him and seeing him on the field. And then on, on top of that, being able to kind of pick his brain when I saw him, uh, out and about in the NFL world, man. Um, and obviously big time shout outs to, uh, Tony Gonzalez and Jason Winn because I'll never catch you guys.

• 23:56Speaker 03

Well, they do have an insane amount of yards. Um, there's also LeBron stat out there. That's right. Andy Reid and the Chiefs are now the third team with 10 straight seasons with at least 10 wins.

• 24:09Travis Kelce?

  I'm in.

• 24:11Travis Kelce?

  That's pretty legit.

• 24:12Speaker 03

  It's very legit.

• 24:13Travis Kelce?

  It's pretty legit, Coach Reed.

• 24:15Speaker 03

Too legit to quit. Alrighty, let's look ahead to week 13. That's right, the Chiefs are playing on Black Friday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

• 24:25Travis Kelce?

The Chiefs Raiders on Black Friday, man.

• 24:28Speaker 03

  Did you see?

• 24:29Travis Kelce?

Take on, take on the Raiders on Black Friday, man. It's pretty fitting. It's pretty fitting.

• 24:33Speaker 03

Did you see this insane Brock Bowers LeBron stat? Brock Bowers just passed Jerry Rice for the most receptions by a Raider in the first 11 games of a season.

• 24:42Travis Kelce?

Do you understand the age difference?

• 24:46Speaker 03

No, Jerry was very old. It's honestly more insane that Jerry Rice was the one who was holding this record.

• 24:54Travis Kelce?

The Raiders have just been running the fuck out of the ball. Um, this is, I mean, this is pretty sweet though. 74 catches, uh, through 11 games. That's as a rookie. That's, I mean, he's one of the most accountable tight ends in the league right now, man. The guy in the pass game is absolutely killing it and he's just all around football player, man. I've heard a lot of great things about the, uh,

• 25:11Speaker 01

Big Bowers over there in the Raiders.

• 25:15Speaker 03

Well, this is only the second Black Friday game ever. People forgot, uh, last year, maybe, that the Jets gave up a 99 yard pick six on a hail Mary at halftime. Uh, Jake, do you remember that? Just shake?

• 25:28Speaker 01

  That was fucked up.

• 25:29Speaker 03

  That's showing the clip.

• 25:30Travis Kelce?

  Just threw.

• 25:31Speaker 03

  Wow.

• 25:33Travis Kelce?

He said, wow, nothing happened yet.

• 25:35Speaker 03

No, but you know what's about to happen. It's just crazy that he went all that way.

• 25:38Travis Kelce?

Oh, that cut right there would have killed me. I would have, I would have.

• 25:42Speaker 03

  Oh, no.

• 25:44Travis Kelce?

Mix the kicker at the end.

• 25:46Speaker 03

  Wow, that's not a kicker. That's a quarterback.

• 25:48Travis Kelce?

Ah, you're right. Sorry about that, Boyle.

• 25:52Speaker 03

  All right, well.

• 25:54Travis Kelce?

That was pretty fucked up. We just, we just threw shade for no reason and, um, shout out to, uh, and, but this is the type of shit that happens on Black Friday. So we gotta come fucking ready and we gotta fucking come prepared.

• 26:06Speaker 03

When you guys, uh, last, uh, time you played against the Raiders on a holiday game, which I would consider Black Friday a holiday game and obviously.

• 26:13Travis Kelce?

What? You're ridiculous. You're fucking ridiculous. You give Black Friday a holiday.

• 26:21Speaker 03

It's a holiday game. I mean, Thursday, Friday.

• 26:23Travis Kelce?

You don't even go shopping, Jason.

• 26:25Speaker 03

I, well, I do Cyber Monday for sure.

• 26:30Travis Kelce?

What do you, I want to know what the fuck Jason buys on Cyber Monday.

• 26:34Speaker 03

  I mean, everything.

• 26:38Speaker 03

Yeah, does playing the day after Thanksgiving ruin how much you can eat?

• 26:42Travis Kelce?

Uh, no, because you just, uh, save everything for after Thanksgiving.

• 26:47Speaker 03

  There you go.

• 26:48Travis Kelce?

Leftovers for days, baby. Thanks. Well, that's one thing Thanksgiving is good for, you know?

• 26:52Speaker 03

  For sure.

• 26:53Travis Kelce?

You got that ham and those Hawaiian rolls and the

• 26:57Speaker 03

Don't do this to me. I've been I'm so hungry.

• 27:00Travis Kelce?

Yeah. And this was Andy's reminder. Make sure you guys give more push aways than pull ins, guys.

• 27:06Speaker 03

  That's what he said.

• 27:06Travis Kelce?

Push aways. No, he always says that at this point in the year. Once the holidays start up, everyone knows like, oh shit, man. Fucking, there's about to be some good food laying around the house, man. Fuck, man. You gotta push that away. Don't need it right now. Don't need it right now.

• 29:20Travis Kelce?

All right, let's move on to some Eagles who played on the Sunday Night Football game. Are you ready for some football?

• 29:27Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 29:28Travis Kelce?

  Sunday night party.

• 29:30Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah. How about it?

• 29:33Travis Kelce?

Eagles 37, Rams 20. Initial thoughts, Jason?

• 29:37Speaker 03

Initial thoughts? Do I have any initial thoughts?

• 29:40Travis Kelce?

  Thought about this one?

• 29:41Speaker 03

Yeah. I mean, listen, it was a great game. Eagles were, I don't know.

• 29:47Travis Kelce?

  A little biased.

• 29:48Speaker 03

Yeah. Yeah. No, the Eagles were back to playing unbelievable.

• 29:53Travis Kelce?

It's fun to watch them right now, man. I'm not gonna lie.

• 29:55Speaker 03

  They, uh.

• 29:56Travis Kelce?

Seem to be connecting on all cylinders, man.

• 29:58Speaker 03

I think, obviously, the initial thoughts that everybody has of Saquon Barkley is fucking incredible.

• 30:05Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 30:06Speaker 03

He took multiple big runs to the house. The score, 37-20, but it was a tight first half. I was actually doing this, I was watching the game with a bunch of fans at this Marriott and.

• 30:20Travis Kelce?

Soft plug. Nice. Shout out to all the Bond boy members out there.

• 30:25Speaker 03

It was a tight, like, first half, and then all of a sudden Saquon just went off. I mean, he was already going off in the first half, but he went off off in the second half. 255 yards rushing over 300 yards from scrimmage. I mean. They couldn't stop him. It was and the O line was fantastic. I think I gotta give the guys up front a lot of credit. Yeah, you know, I know stout. Those guys pride themselves so much on they worked their they worked their asses off and hitting all these things right and all the angles right surfacing blocks well together. But Kai Beckton and Jergens had a had a really nice combination block on the backside of one of these runs. Landon Dickerson had a nice combination block with Cam Jergens on the backside of it. Both of those guys demolished

• 31:06Speaker 03

the linebacker at the second level. It was all clicking. The O line was playing. I mean, of course, it always does when you have a score like this, but

• 31:13Travis Kelce?

I was about to say, you put up 255 yards rushing, even though it's Saquon's out there. Fuck, his legs are moving and he's he's making guys miss. You got to be on the same page as a unit. And you could tell right now the Eagles are absolutely rolling, man.

• 31:27Speaker 03

But they're they're clicking in every facet. The defense is playing really well. Under Vic Fangio, they finally, I think, are falling into their rhythm over these past few weeks. I mean, really, when Cooper Dejean went in, they've really played a lot better as a secondary. They're more aggressive. The defensive line is lighting it up, not just Jalen Carter. Now, all these guys are participating. I mean, we lost. This is the other thing. I mean, the biggest downer of the day for sure is, you know, losing BG. Just tremendous player and captain going down with a tricep tear out for the year. And he said it was going to be his last season. I hope he comes back. I really do. I think he was still playing at a high level. Yeah, I mean, I hope he does whatever he wants to do.

• 32:06Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, that's the biggest thing.

• 32:07Speaker 03

He was still like so dominant and so productive. I know him. I know BG. He's still going to be out there leading them guys still still being around him, still getting those guys right.

• 32:16Travis Kelce?

He only knows one way, man. He's that kind of player, man.

• 32:19Speaker 03

Just the constant. I mean, this is 15 season. He's been so good for so long in Philadelphia. Yeah, that one stinks. But outside of that, I mean, the offense is clicking. They got a great identity right now. They know who they are. They're running the ball well. AJ Brown, Devante Smith, Jalen Hurts is playing lights out. Things could not be better right now in Philadelphia.

• 32:39Travis Kelce?

When I talked about us getting and Coach Rhea talking about complimentary football. The Eagles are fucking playing complimentary football.

• 32:46Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 32:47Travis Kelce?

They're turning it up a notch in the second half and that's what you really want to do. You want to start fast and be able to turn it up a notch in the second half. It's so much fun to watch, especially when you got Saquon taking shit to the house. This is the sixth player in NFL history to record multiple rushing touchdowns of 70 plus yards in a game. This is unbelievable. That's a, that's a fucking LeBron stat. First of all, it's unbelievable LeBron stat, but his cuts, his vision right now and his, his burst is second to none and it's just fun as hell to watch and play, man.

• 33:16Speaker 03

And on that touchdown run, nobody sees it, but Britton Covey right there at the bottom of the screen. So Saquon's going to get through the line, Landon Dickerson lays out the linebacker, but watch my man Covey, the receiver, the white guy down here at the bottom.

• 33:28Travis Kelce?

  The white guy down.

• 33:29Speaker 03

I mean, I don't know how else to describe him. Look at that, that right there, that little block.

• 33:33Travis Kelce?

  That's all it takes.

• 33:34Speaker 03

All of a sudden, now it's a 70 plus yard run. That's why that stuff is so important.

• 33:38Travis Kelce?

It springs with same thing that kind of are along the lines that J Watt did on, on Pat's big run at the end of our game, man. Guys blocking downfield, those second effort plays, the, those are the plays that spring guys that, uh, like Saquon Barkley to, to go 70 to the house, man.

• 33:54Speaker 03

  No doubt, no doubt.

• 33:55Travis Kelce?

Barkley's 1,649 scrimmage yards are second most by any player in his first 11 games with a team, which is fucking unbelievable. He's doing it. He's, uh, he's your Swiss army knife right now. He can, uh, he can kill you multiple ways. This is his second 70 plus yard touchdown.

• 34:15Speaker 03

  Yeah, just a counter play.

• 34:16Travis Kelce?

  Just untouched.

• 34:17Speaker 03

Yeah, they kind of misfit it. I don't know what was going on, where they thought it was going to hit.

• 34:22Travis Kelce?

Sinking it and, uh, well, he did make a guy miss, um, right there in the hole. He bounced it and, uh, and got up out of there, catch a few guys out of their gap and all of a sudden, uh.

• 34:32Speaker 03

Yep. He's gone. He's gone. I mean, and that's the thing that makes Saquon, Saquon, I think the reason why he's in the MVP race right now, like he's not, not only is he a good running back, any one of these plays can be an explosive player and a touchdown and I think. There's, there's games that have been decided because of him, which is rare as a running back that like these big plays have won that many games. Again, you go back to this past week against the Rams, those were the go ahead touchdowns, right? Then you have the Washington score. He scores a couple touchdowns late to make that game look out of reach. In all like, at least four or five games, he has had key pivotal runs in the second half that have sparked momentum,

• 35:16Speaker 03

or just given the Eagles the lead.

• 35:18Travis Kelce?

Just throwing daggers into the other team.

• 35:21Speaker 03

Yeah. And it's that big playability. It's that, that, that huge strike that is just such

• 35:27Travis Kelce?

Even when he fucking juke a guy and fucking hurdles him backwards, like even if it's just a first down, it's electric. Watching him play right now, it's like a, it's like a prizefighter just taking shots to the body all day. And then all of a sudden he just takes a haymaker in the sixth quarter, or the sixth round, the seventh round, the eighth round. And it's just that those are so detrimental to a, to the mentality of a defense, man.

• 35:48Speaker 03

  For sure.

• 35:49Travis Kelce?

He's showing a lot of love right now to the O line, which any good teammate's gonna do. He's gonna make it about the guys around him, knowing that it's a, it's a team game. But he is being singled out for his unbelievable performance and he's showing all the love to, to his O line, in quotes, "We broke the record. We broke Shady's record." He was also on Twitter saying, "How about them boys up front?" And that's what you should do, man. You always gotta show love to the guys around you, especially when they're, they're literally paving the way for you, man. I mean, when, when you give Saquon Barkley an opportunity to make one guy miss and he'll go 70 to the house, that's a pretty good fucking play. I'll take that, I'll take that percentage of play over a lot of fucking plays in the playbook. And if you

• 36:30Travis Kelce?

can find the play that gets you that situation where it's one-on-one with Saquon Barkley and a, and it's a touchdown, I mean, good things are gonna happen.

• 36:38Speaker 03

He knows how much the O line. Makes all this thing go. You know, he's been in New York. He's been with the Lions. Not like this. Those boys up front are blocking their asses off right now. It's not even just them. Again, tight ends, the receivers, everybody is involved in a game where you dominate like this. But for sure, you know, Cam Jergens on out between Landon Diggerson, a Mackay guard, Malata Johnson at tackle, everybody is balling out.

• 37:04Travis Kelce?

Well, even the Cowboys are mad at the Giants for letting Saquon go. Michael Parsons, uh, D N for the, uh, for the Dallas Cowboys tweeted out, I don't even gotta say it this week. Y'all know what the fuck I'm talking. There's a team in the NFC East who let a generational talent walk for free.

• 37:21Speaker 03

  How about that?

• 37:22Travis Kelce?

Yeah. And that is, uh, that would be Saquon Barkley he's talking about. And, uh, they might've let another one out. We'll see how it plays out.

• 37:31Speaker 03

  You talking about Daniel Jones?

• 37:32Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 37:33Speaker 03

  They, that would be hilarious.

• 37:36Travis Kelce?

We gotta talk about Quinianamo Bay. Eagles fans have given, uh, D B, rookie D B, Quinian Mitchell is, uh, his nickname. Quinianamo Bay after the Cuban military base, uh, Guantanamo Bay.

• 37:50Speaker 03

  Yeah, that's good.

• 37:51Travis Kelce?

That's actually really fucking good. Again, you got, and this is how nicknames work. You don't pick your nickname. People pick your nickname and this is, this is what makes them great. You throw it on Twitter, people are gonna find a good nickname for you. Quinian Mitchell says he likes Quinianamo Bay as a nickname. Nice. I mean, how could you not? Mitchell has allowed less than 30 yards in seven straight games and no touchdowns. Best cornerback nickname since Rivas Island.

• 38:16Speaker 03

  I mean, dude, it's good. I don't, that's super creative and funny. I think that's really good. I'm, I'm, I'm all in on this.

• 38:23Travis Kelce?

All in on it. And, uh, we already talked about Brandon Graham. Shout out to BG, man. Get as healthy as possible. And, uh, I think we're all in on, uh, on you coming back for another year just because we love to see you out there in that 5-5, brother. He did give us a great BG soundbite though, um, in quotes, I have to make sure I get it. I get out there and be the best leader I can be like I always do and let the opponents know how lucky they is that I'm out. I'll tell you what, man, you hear BG, whether he's on the field or he's on that sideline, you hear, uh, Brandon Graham on the field, man. He's got, there's just a frequency in his voice. You, you can't miss it. So he'll still be that leader in that, uh, That shit talker for the for the Eagles, no matter what.

• 39:07Speaker 03

No doubt, no doubt. Yeah, I mean, listen, I think BG is on the Mount Rushmore of Philadelphia Eagles, or what I would say, I mean, his strip sack is up there. It's the most important play of all time as a Philadelphia Eagle. He's right up there with Philly special to secure that first Super Bowl. He made one of the biggest plays when we needed it most and ended up being a huge point in the game. So I don't know that anybody, I don't know, like represents the Eagles better than Brandon Graham. He's just been such a great teammate and person.

• 39:40Travis Kelce?

And he's been through it all, man.

• 39:41Speaker 03

Yeah, he's been through it all. He's been here for a long, I mean, 15 years. So shout out to BG.

• 39:46Travis Kelce?

Final thoughts? Have the have the vibes ever been higher in Philly?

• 39:51Speaker 03

I don't think so. I think, you know, Nick Sirianni after the game was definitely doing the, you know, Nick Saban, you know, don't listen to the or don't eat the rat poison, right? Like, everybody's going to be telling you how good you are, like, coach knows it. And but he also knows that they still, all this is just an opportunity to go out last week. They got to double down, continue to get better, and we got to win this next week. You know what I mean? And I think you can't let last week affect how you're going to prepare for this coming week.

• 40:22Travis Kelce?

  Not a chance.

• 40:23Speaker 03

You got to approach it with the same mindset. We still got to get better. We still got to improve. We still got to keep being the dogs that we are. And I think that, you know, it sounds like coaches is keeping all the guys in the right mindset. Obviously, we got to smile out of Jalen. Look at that picture. Who doesn't love a good Jalen smile? There we go, baby.

• 40:43Travis Kelce?

Next week, the Eagles are going to Baltimore to take on Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Man, it feels like the Ravens.

• 40:49Speaker 03

  Big win Monday night.

• 40:50Travis Kelce?

Playing big game after big game after big game right now.

• 40:53Speaker 03

Ravens had a tough schedule. I don't know who hated the Ravens, but they got loaded with the tough matchups.

• 40:59Travis Kelce?

They're handling it pretty well, though. I'm not gonna lie, man. That was a pretty good game Monday night. And we'll get to that in a little bit. But is this game going to determine the MVP race? Lamar Jackson versus Saquon Barkley?

• 41:11Speaker 03

Or Derrick Henry versus Saquon Barkley?

• 41:14Travis Kelce?

Oh, my bad. Derrick Henry is also in awe of Saquon Barkley, as everyone else is. Go crazy, gangsta.

• 41:21Speaker 03

  Ayo.

• 41:23Travis Kelce?

Yeah, Derrick Henry and Saquon are, I mean, shit.

• 41:27Speaker 03

I mean, if we're being honest, it's probably going to go to a quarterback, but I think Saquon's got, I think Saquon and Derrick Henry both have the benefit of the story, right? Like, they both have changed teams. Saquon went to a individual rival.

• 41:39Travis Kelce?

  They both walk with nothing.

• 41:40Speaker 03

How about, this is what's crazy is the game has gone back to the line of scrimmage, which is wonderful, right? And we're seeing the best teams in the league run the ball really, really well and control the line of scrimmage.

• 41:52Travis Kelce?

Controlling the line of scrimmage, controlling the clock, limiting possessions.

• 41:55Speaker 03

The game's gone back to the line of scrimmage. It's going to be very interesting after this season to see what happens in the running back market, to see what happens in the draft. Like now, all of a sudden, is running the ball is being seen as the way to win in this league in some ways, right? Between Detroit, between what Philadelphia is doing, what the Baltimore Ravens are doing. I mean, you guys, you guys are running the ball more than you've ever run the ball with Pat Mahomes.

• 42:18Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 42:18Speaker 03

If this is the way defenses are going to play, and this is the way the league is now, running all of a sudden, running backs, maybe they're, maybe that value's going back up, all because of these guys right here. How about that?

• 42:30Travis Kelce?

How about it? Then you got guys like Ashton Gentry over there at Boise State. Shit. You think he might get drafted next year?

• 42:39Speaker 03

Yeah, I think it's still going to be a quarterback. I'm not saying like it's ever not going to be that, but I do think we're seeing firsthand how important having great running backs is. So, yeah, I do think it's going to change things a little bit. Let's get to the rest of week 12. There's a little bit of chaos in the NFL in week 12, huh? Titans over the Texans, Browns over the Steelers, Cowboys over Washington, Vikings need to win an OT. How about that, man? Those are crazy, crazy losses.

• 43:05Travis Kelce?

You already know, when, when November and December hit, man, it's like the ultimate.

• 43:11Travis Kelce?

In division, teams fighting for playoffs. Everybody sees the, the light at the end of the tunnel a little bit more. It's a little bit more meaningful. There's a lot more film out there for people to, to, to diagnose, to understand what the other team is doing. On top of that, there's injuries that play into it. New guys having to step up, getting put into the fire for the first time. There's so much shit that goes on in November and December. That it's just, that's where it really becomes any given Sunday, man. Anybody can't get it. And, uh, and it, and obviously, uh, these four games right here just, uh, are, are just proving that, man. Chaos can happen in the NFL, man.

• 43:51Speaker 03

Yeah, Titan is, is just familiarity, right? Like the Browns and the Steelers, the Steelers beat the Ravens last week. The AFC North is always tight. Feels like these teams always beat up on each other, no matter how good each one of them is. You're gonna lose one or two in division games, no matter how good you are in the AFC North. It feels like that every year.

• 44:10Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 44:10Speaker 03

Titans over Texans. I would, I mean, what is going on? The Texans were supposed to be one of the best teams in the AFC. All of a sudden, last couple of weeks, they've been struggling a little bit. Well, I guess they, they played well last week against the Rams.

• 44:23Travis Kelce?

  There we go, Monday night.

• 44:25Speaker 03

Titans, freaking Will Levis, Mr. Mayonnaise. Speaking of mayonnaise, uh, lead them to victory. Cowboys beating Washington. I did not have that one on my bingo card. Washington has been playing lights out.

• 44:39Travis Kelce?

That might've been the craziest ending to a football game. For, you know, Daniels to find McLaren and him to go to the house and then to miss the field goal, have to go for an onside kick and then to lose it with.

• 44:53Speaker 03

Onside kick return for a touchdown.

• 44:54Travis Kelce?

For a touchdown. Fuck, NFL is crazy, man. The last two minutes, 49 seconds, there was Cowboys 99 yard punt return for a touchdown. Oh, this was electric. Watch this punt return right here.

• 45:08Speaker 03

  Whoa.

• 45:09Travis Kelce?

  That's unfortunate.

• 45:11Speaker 03

RC mate, dude, hit the B button. Hit the circle.

• 45:16Travis Kelce?

First time that circle and B button has worked in the NFL game. Since the 2003 Madden.

• 45:24Speaker 03

RC brought this up on Monday night that sometimes when you drop those kicks, it messes with the

• 45:29Travis Kelce?

  Creates the

• 45:30Speaker 03

The coverage. Everybody just goes to go get the ball. Yes. How about this catch by Terry McLaurin?

• 45:37Travis Kelce?

I have been a very, I have been an advocate to put in the fake drop fumble.

• 45:42Speaker 03

Just, just drop it on purpose. You know, you got time, just drop it on purpose.

• 45:45Travis Kelce?

But, and then what play do you think you should run out of it?

• 45:48Speaker 03

Are we talking about offense or are we talking about special teams? Offense, you fumble Ruski.

• 45:51Travis Kelce?

  No.

• 45:52Speaker 03

Center snaps the ball, hits the quarterback's hands, falls down, just like little giants.

• 45:56Travis Kelce?

No, you gotta, you gotta, you gotta make it look like somebody in the backfield is like fumbling the ball on the ground. So everybody then goes like ears back and runs at the ball.

• 46:08Speaker 03

Then you put on, you put in. Uh, the

• 46:12Travis Kelce?

  A screen.

• 46:13Speaker 03

  Screen.

• 46:16Speaker 03

I'm not, I'm not picking up on the screen.

• 46:18Travis Kelce?

You don't think, you don't think the screen would work? Everybody, it just, it makes everybody collapse onto somebody and then you build a fortress for somebody to run behind.

• 46:26Speaker 03

I mean, I'm sure it works. I got it. How is it happening? So you snap it to the quarterback.

• 46:30Travis Kelce?

Snap it to the quarterback. He

• 46:32Speaker 03

  Shotgun.

• 46:33Travis Kelce?

  Fumbles it, fumbles it, everybody.

• 46:35Speaker 03

What are we running up front? Are we running pass pro?

• 46:37Travis Kelce?

Two jet. Yeah. Two jet, three jet.

• 46:38Speaker 03

Doing two jet, snap it shotgun to the quarterback, quarterback fumbles.

• 46:42Travis Kelce?

Yep. Tell, tell the old line, act, act like you're stabbing a guy and looking for someone else. So everyone thinks like, oh, I can beat them. And now it's like, attack the ball.

• 46:50Speaker 03

It's like three step drop. We're doing like a three step drop type look.

• 46:53Travis Kelce?

  Exactly.

• 46:53Speaker 03

Okay. Quarterback gets it, fumbles it.

• 46:56Travis Kelce?

  Nice.

• 46:56Speaker 03

  Picks it back up.

• 46:57Travis Kelce?

  Yep.

• 46:57Speaker 03

  Now the D lineman.

• 46:58Travis Kelce?

Baby roll out, baby roll out like a panic, like I gotta get away from the rush. Throw the screen.

• 47:03Speaker 03

And then who you throw on the screen back to? The running back?

• 47:05Travis Kelce?

  Whoever.

• 47:05Speaker 03

  To the receiver. Tight end?

• 47:07Travis Kelce?

  Doesn't matter.

• 47:07Speaker 03

Well, it does matter. You're telling me you got to play design. You don't even know who the ball's going to.

• 47:11Travis Kelce?

Well, I'm not going to tell you the exact play. I've just been an advocate of faking the fumble and then throwing the screen.

• 47:16Speaker 03

Alrighty. Uh, Terry McLaurin also had a ridiculous, uh, catch to tie the game up. Well, what they thought was going to tie the game up. And then we had this debacle on the extra point. Let's take a look at that. There we go. Terry, dude, he's a beast.

• 47:29Travis Kelce?

  He is a beast.

• 47:30Speaker 03

So good. Extra point and the kick is

• 47:36Travis Kelce?

  Yanked it.

• 47:37Speaker 03

God, look at him. He put right away. His hands are on his head. I

• 47:41Travis Kelce?

Oh, yeah. Somebody's got to get him.

• 47:43Speaker 03

And then you return it for the score. Surprise. You don't just fall on it.

• 47:47Travis Kelce?

You can't short change those little, uh, whatever those kind of kicks are.

• 47:52Speaker 03

  Onside kicks?

• 47:54Travis Kelce?

Yeah, but it's like the, it's not like the true onside kick.

• 47:57Speaker 03

Yeah, they're, they're trying to like bunt it and outrun it to like get there first.

• 48:02Travis Kelce?

  Short change those, man.

• 48:03Speaker 03

Oh, you, you gotta get it at least 10 yards. That's what you're saying?

• 48:06Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 48:06Speaker 03

I got you. Yeah. Well, that is the rule.

• 48:12Travis Kelce?

  Touche.

• 48:14Speaker 03

All right. Crazy ending to a, uh, not the best game for the commanders. Shout out to the Cowboys for, uh, pretty much securing the Eagles victory of the NFC East. This would, it would, it would take a complete meltdown for the Eagles not to win the NFC East at this point. Uh, so shut up. I, I think this might be the only time in Eagles history that everybody was collectively rooting for the Cowboys.

• 48:34Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, possibly.

• 48:35Speaker 03

  Pretty wild.

• 48:36Travis Kelce?

First snow game of the year, though, up there in our, our hometown Cleveland, Ohio, up there on the lake.

• 48:42Speaker 03

A good snow game. It's the best.

• 48:44Travis Kelce?

How about it? Huntington Bank, right there on the lake, just sitting, just taking all the weather off the lake and just fucking making it difficult on dangerous. Uh, we also had a mic'd up Jameis Winston, which is always electric.

• 49:11Speaker 03

He tried. He tried so hard.

• 49:15Travis Kelce?

  Sometimes I talked about frequency.

• 49:18Travis Kelce?

  Somebody jump off sides. Damn.

• 49:20Speaker 03

That's so good. God, that's good. I love it. Dude, did you see his pregame? Pull that up. Pull up the pregame. I want this in the show.

• 49:29Travis Kelce?

  I'm just so, I'm

• 49:33Speaker 03

  How fortunate are we?

• 49:35Travis Kelce?

How fortunate are we to be playing up in Cleveland, Ohio? On this beautiful, now this is football weather.

• 49:43Speaker 03

Dude, I love this clip so much.

• 49:48Speaker 04

The horse is prepared for battle, but victory comes from the Lord. Coming on the Lord.

• 49:54Travis Kelce?

  Preach.

• 49:55Speaker 05

  To the team.

• 49:57Speaker 04

Day by day, one play at a time.

• 50:01Travis Kelce?

Day by day, one play at a time.

• 50:02Speaker 05

We're expecting winds up to 15 miles per hour.

• 50:04Travis Kelce?

  I'm smiling.

• 50:06Speaker 05

How will that impact your ability to throw the ball?

• 50:10Speaker 04

I am so happy and grateful that the Lord has blessed me to play in some snow, to be in true football weather in Cleveland, Ohio at Huntington Bank Field today to give him the glory.

• 50:21Travis Kelce?

  Who is he looking at?

• 50:24Speaker 04

It is. It's magical. Thank you.

• 50:26Speaker 03

It's a beautiful day. Dude, I've this dude kills it every time.

• 50:31Travis Kelce?

Every single time, man. So authentically himself, man.

• 50:34Speaker 03

I'm so happy they won. Oh, that's awesome.

• 50:36Travis Kelce?

You gotta love it, man. And Cleveland was fucking rocking, man. Had everybody with their shirts off, enjoying the first day of snow. You gotta love it, man. You got you absolutely gotta love it.

• 50:46Speaker 03

Pizan of the week goes to not Tommy DeVito, goes to Baker Mayfield with his

• 50:52Travis Kelce?

He sent it, man. He sold it.

• 50:54Speaker 03

Tommy DeVito celebration. I didn't, I mean, I didn't know he was this quick with his triceps. I mean, look at those things. He's firing them up.

• 51:00Travis Kelce?

Strong man, strong guy, strong lats.

• 51:03Speaker 03

Looks like he's like throwing coins. Bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing.

• 51:07Travis Kelce?

  Nice.

• 51:08Speaker 03

Yeah, really good trolling there by Baker. Impeccable trolling.

• 51:13Travis Kelce?

  It's good shit.

• 51:14Speaker 03

He was also grilled about his Italian heritage after the game. I don't know if you saw this, Travis?

• 51:18Travis Kelce?

I did not see this. What was this about?

• 51:19Speaker 03

It's good. I guess it was the DeVito celebration. Is that?

• 51:22Speaker 06

Tribute, tribute to Tommy. Yeah. He's a good dude. He's got swag.

• 51:26Speaker 05

Yeah, who came up with that?

• 51:28Speaker 06

Oh, I have no idea. I just see him do it.

• 51:30Speaker 05

No, but who's I, I'm sorry, whose idea was it for you to do that? And when did you know you were gonna do it?

• 51:34Speaker 06

I, you know, most of the times I don't know what I'm gonna do, so. There's spontaneous stuff.

• 51:39Travis Kelce?

  I respect it.

• 51:40Speaker 05

That was spontaneous? That was not planned? I mean, even your teammates got into it too.

• 51:44Speaker 06

Yeah, you know, New York fans love Tommy here and give him something they like.

• 51:48Speaker 05

Are you, are you Italian by any chance or no?

• 51:50Speaker 06

  I haven't done a 23andMe, but I don't know.

• 51:55Speaker 03

  Dude, that's professional.

• 51:56Travis Kelce?

  I fucking love that dude.

• 51:56Speaker 03

That's professional trolling by Baker. God, that's funny.

• 52:00Travis Kelce?

Shake and bake Baker, shake and bake Baker.

• 52:01Speaker 03

  Oh, man.

• 52:02Travis Kelce?

That's a spicy beat the ball.

• 52:06Speaker 03

We gotta ask Big Dom if Baker's got this, uh, the, the Italian okay to pull off that celebration.

• 52:13Travis Kelce?

There you go. There you go. The Marshawn Selly is back. Safety's, uh, Seahawks safety and former Bearcat Kobe Bryant. How about that, man? Hit the Marshawn Lynch, uh, nut grab. Homer dude.

• 52:25Speaker 03

  Homer dude.

• 52:26Travis Kelce?

On a, uh, end zone pick six.

• 52:30Travis Kelce?

Man, Arizona had a tough one, but he was open too. It's tough. It's tough, but, uh, when you get tossed one, you gotta have fun with it. Homer.

• 52:42Speaker 03

Not quite as good as Marshawn.

• 52:43Travis Kelce?

Classic Selly, but that will also get you fined, young man.

• 52:46Speaker 03

Yes, yes, it will. Yes, it will.

• 52:48Travis Kelce?

Uh, told his family before the game, if he got a pick six, he would do the Marshawn Lynch, uh, crotch grab. Nice. I'm sure he said crotch grab in the end zone. Hope Slid, Hope Slid will, uh, chip in if the NFL finds him.

• 53:00Speaker 03

This is one week after Jamison Williams did the same celebration. Jamison was fined nineteen thousand dollars, six hundred and seventy, and ninety seven cents. Marshawn was fined eleven thousand, fifty dollars for the original celebration. This is just, you know, as you can see, inflation, NFL inflation, point blank. How many years ago was the Marshawn?

• 53:24Travis Kelce?

I'm gonna say it was a decade ago for sure.

• 53:25Speaker 03

It's almost doubled in a decade. I mean, that sounds about right.

• 53:28Travis Kelce?

2013, 2014 was when he was, that's when they were winning Super Bowls.

• 53:32Speaker 03

Yeah. So I think this would be, I mean, 10 years is about, the salary cap has pretty much doubled in that timeframe, or at least close to. So yeah, that's NFL inflation for you. Who knows what it'll be, uh, well, probably be close to nineteen thousand, six hundred and ninety seven dollars.

• 53:50Speaker 03

Coach quote of the week from Jim Harbaugh after the Monday night football game against his brother. I'd lay down my life for my brother, but I wouldn't let him win a football game ever.

• 53:59Travis Kelce?

  It's a good quote.

• 54:02Speaker 03

  It's very accurate.

• 54:03Travis Kelce?

  And the, uh,

• 54:04Speaker 03

I know exactly what you're talking about, Jim. I know exactly what you're talking about.

• 54:07Travis Kelce?

I get it. I get it. I get it. I'll kill somebody for Jason, but he will not win a football game.

• 54:11Speaker 03

I'm not gonna let him win. That does it for week 12 in the NFL.

• 54:17Travis Kelce?

Let's get out of the house. Jason, you are, um, you are out of the house more than I have ever been out of the house and, uh, I'm jealous. All right. Before we get to New Heights Film Club, uh, let's quickly get out of the house. Out of the House is brought to you by Small Business Saturday, founded by American Express.

• 54:35Speaker 03

How about that? Love supporting small businesses.

• 54:38Travis Kelce?

At this point, uh, should we just call this segment Jason Go Home instead? Because Jason, you haven't, yeah, you haven't fucking, haven't been in the house. Um, you got a fourth girl on the way. Might need you to.

• 54:50Speaker 03

All right. All right. I got you. I got you. This was a unique situation in some ways.

• 54:58Travis Kelce?

In some ways. Jason was everywhere. Jason, you were spotted, uh, on Saturday at Appalachian State.

• 55:06Speaker 03

  Damn straight.

• 55:07Travis Kelce?

At the tailgate singing your favorite karaoke, um, Total Eclipse of the Heart.

• 55:12Speaker 03

Yep. You know that I've loved that one forever. Um, it's my go-to.

• 55:16Travis Kelce?

The Dan Band, the Dan Band version.

• 55:18Speaker 03

For sure. Yeah. I mean, I'll, even if it's the original version, I'll just sing it like it's the Dan Band. But I'm singing it like that.

• 55:25Travis Kelce?

Fucking needs now, whatever. Yeah, let's watch this clip just cause it's fun to watch Jason do Jason things.

• 55:31Speaker 03

Oh, cool. Yeah. I actually haven't seen it yet, so I'm kind of intrigued.

• 56:01Speaker 03

  I always struggled up.

• 56:03Travis Kelce?

All right, all right, all right.

• 56:05Speaker 03

All right, we've seen enough, we've seen enough.

• 56:08Travis Kelce?

You can't start that high because then when you need to go higher, it's just you gotta.

• 56:13Speaker 03

  That is the part.

• 56:14Travis Kelce?

  It's still electric.

• 56:15Speaker 03

That really, it goes off the rails every time, but either way, dude, App State was fantastic.

• 56:20Travis Kelce?

Why were we at App State?

• 56:22Speaker 03

Good friend of mine, Brandon Beaver, is from Carolina. He knows a lot of the people at App State and in the area.

• 56:30Travis Kelce?

  Big Beaver.

• 56:32Speaker 03

Big Beaver. He's the best. Beaver's the best. Either way, from the area and obviously that whole, you know, Boone County, that whole area has been ravaged by the hurricanes and whatnot. So we felt like there were some stories to be told and, you know, we kind of captured some content around that and, and people that have, it was just, it's an outstanding story of community, how much, you know, when times get tough, people rally around each other and they've rallied around each other in that area. They've rallied around that football team. This was their homecoming. They got a big win. So to be able to be down there, everybody made me feel so welcome. It was just beyond fun and awesome and just a really good trip. So.

• 57:13Travis Kelce?

  I love it, man.

• 57:14Speaker 03

Shout out to you guys, App State.

• 57:15Travis Kelce?

  Shout out to App State.

• 57:17Speaker 03

  Way to go, Mountaineers.

• 57:18Travis Kelce?

How about it, man? Fuck. On Sunday, you were at the Rams Eagles game, man. You caught some Eagles football and then played some beer pong, little celeb shot?

• 57:26Speaker 03

Got a celeb shot, nailed it.

• 57:27Travis Kelce?

Fucking drained it, like a pro. Elbow, good lean.

• 57:33Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 57:34Travis Kelce?

Halfway, halfway across the table. That's some good shit.

• 57:36Speaker 03

No, no, no. My elbow was back there. It's just an illusion, just an illusion.

• 57:40Travis Kelce?

  It's a good point. It's a good point.

• 57:41Speaker 03

  The camera.

• 57:41Travis Kelce?

At some point, you performed in a UCB improv show?

• 57:47Speaker 03

Yeah, Upright Citizens Brigade. A lot of this trip, I went out with the guys that helped me do this late night show. So we went to Kimmel. Kimmel, Jimmy was able to tell us kind of, you know, the ins and outs of running a late night show, the tailgate with the beer pong, some of that was grabbing content that we're going to show during the late night show. And then Upright Citizens Brigade. It was just an idea to go out there and get comfortable in front of a ca- a crowd doing like comedy bits. Right? So dude, these guys, this whole crew was, this is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. They absolutely killed it. It was hilarious. They made it super easy on me. I just went up there and told stories. It was a blast, man. It was a lot of fun.

• 58:24Travis Kelce?

I could listen to Jason Kelce tell stories for the rest of my life, man. That's awesome though, man. That's awesome. I love going to stuff like this, man. This is the coolest shit ever.

• 58:32Speaker 03

  The best.

• 58:33Travis Kelce?

I would have definitely enjoyed every bit of that, but you also starred in a new commercial for Garage Beer. How about that? Where did the inspiration come from this?

• 58:43Speaker 03

I don't know. Had this idea of, I've loved, uh, you know, this.

• 58:50Speaker 03

It seemed like something fun to do.

• 58:52Travis Kelce?

  Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.

• 59:00Travis Kelce?

Ah, man, I want to fuck a little.

• 59:04Speaker 03

  Something fun to do.

• 59:05Travis Kelce?

Look at this guy, man. Holy shit.

• 59:10Travis Kelce?

Dude, it was so good, man. Everything is the best. Listen to you, man. Just enjoying your life.

• 59:16Speaker 03

So, yep, just having fun, making a.

• 59:19Travis Kelce?

Hey, hey, I needed more feet though. I needed.

• 59:23Speaker 03

  You did tell me.

• 59:25Travis Kelce?

  That's the free will.

• 59:27Speaker 03

Wait, wait for this. This is the best part. Everybody's gonna turn it off before they get to the best part. Watch, watch the best part.

• 59:37Speaker 03

  My guy.

• 59:39Travis Kelce?

Bathing in it. Just bathing in it. Now, the best part is definitely you jumping into this camera like that all happy as hell.

• 59:47Speaker 03

Dude, it just seemed like something really fun to do.

• 59:50Travis Kelce?

I mean, I enjoyed every second of it.

• 59:51Speaker 03

Now that we own a beer company, we get to come up with stupid ideas that we think is funny. I don't know if anybody thinks, anybody else thinks it's funny, but I think it's funny.

• 1:00:00Travis Kelce?

I think it's pure entertainment, Jason. I think as lo- as, as long as Jason Kelce's enjoying it and he's showing everybody that he's enjoying it, people are gonna fucking love it, man.

• 1:00:08Speaker 03

All right, I'm gonna keep doing it.

• 1:00:10Travis Kelce?

So, uh, yeah, go out there and grab a Garage Beer and, um. See how it makes you feel like this.

• 1:00:17Speaker 03

  It'll make you dance.

• 1:00:18Travis Kelce?

There we go. Did you have a favorite event over the weekend?

• 1:00:21Speaker 03

Man, there were so many good moments. The App State, I would say Appalachian State was, was the best just because of, I don't know, what, everything that that community's been through and the way everybody is great.

• 1:00:32Travis Kelce?

Tailgate. We never got the tailgate as it's like, so like.

• 1:00:35Speaker 03

I've been getting the tailgating in.

• 1:00:37Travis Kelce?

That's what I'm saying. You got the itch to tail. You're like, you're a professional tailgater now.

• 1:00:40Speaker 03

Well, I want to be. It's hard sometimes because everybody knows who you are. You just want to tailgate. But, you know, either way, it's, it's a good time. And I think, I like connecting with people and that was awesome. But there was a lot of great moments. And I think that Citizens Brigade thing was hilarious. Just the creativity and the talent that those comedians had was spectacular.

• 1:01:01Travis Kelce?

  Nice.

• 1:01:02Speaker 03

Yeah, Monday Night Football, dude, it was, it was busy. I'm definitely happy I'm home now. And you got the holidays coming up. Get to celebrate some Thanksgiving with the girls.

• 1:01:11Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:12Speaker 03

But it was, it was a good week. It was a really, really fun week.

• 1:01:14Travis Kelce?

I love it, man. Well, you were on Monday night looking like a cinnamon swirl up there with that brown on, man. That looked real nice.

• 1:01:24Speaker 03

  Yeah, cinnamon.

• 1:01:25Travis Kelce?

Buttercream, buttercream. And that was out of the house, brought to you by Small Business Saturday, funded by American Express. Shout out to American Express. All right now, let's get to a little New Heights Film Club. That's right. Everything you guys have been waiting for, a little Roadhouse Review. New Heights Film Club is brought to you by Burger King. Go ahead and get your favorite Whopper right now. You rule. We have to watch a movie this week.

• 1:01:53Speaker 03

Let's do it. I'm gonna open up my notes.

• 1:01:55Travis Kelce?

  Do a little homework.

• 1:01:56Speaker 03

Open up my notes. We've got a bit of programming update. We've seen how much everyone has loved the New Heights Film Club. So we've decided to put it in the regular show. We're working out, figuring out the, the release of the former Wondery Plus content. So stay tuned for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants potentially, but don't go, don't worry if you subscribe to Wondery Plus. We're still going to be giving you guys great content and we appreciate all your feedback. And we can't wait to continue putting out those as well. But there's been a big appetite for this to be in the regular episode and we are proud to offer the new Heights Film Club episode this week, Roadhouse, right now. That's right.

• 1:02:34Travis Kelce?

  Such an iconic film.

• 1:02:36Speaker 03

Not the new one. This is the 1989 classic Roadhouse film.

• 1:02:40Travis Kelce?

Come on, baby. The class, the classic Roadhouse.

• 1:02:43Speaker 03

Hopefully, all of you guys have watched it and you are ready for this review.

• 1:02:47Travis Kelce?

It's literally the Jumanji for my parents. It's, it's what I was, it's what I was made from right here. You kidding me? Nothing like getting, you know, Patrick Swayze to get things fucking hot and steamy in the, in the Kelsey household. You know what I'm talking about?

• 1:03:03Speaker 03

I'm not gonna lie. This is definitely more, this is better than Jumanji. If you want to get the juices flowing. This is for anybody. It's got something for anybody.

• 1:03:13Travis Kelce?

Let's put some, let's put some Vaseline all over Patrick Swayze's body and let's see where it ends up.

• 1:03:18Speaker 03

All right, let's, let's start. Where's the film start? So the film starts.

• 1:03:23Speaker 03

Frank Tillman owns a bar called The Double Deuce.

• 1:03:26Travis Kelce?

The Double Deuce in Kansas City.

• 1:03:28Speaker 03

The film, is it in Kansas City?

• 1:03:30Travis Kelce?

Dude, what? Yes. He's got it just outside of Kansas City.

• 1:03:33Speaker 03

  Jasper.

• 1:03:33Travis Kelce?

This is a Missouri, this is a Missouri based movie, dude.

• 1:03:37Speaker 03

  Does this place actually exist?

• 1:03:38Travis Kelce?

I'm, I've been looking for it since 89, since I was born, brother. No, I'm kidding. I have, I believe it is a made up bar.

• 1:03:45Speaker 03

All right. So Frank Tillman owns a double deuce. You don't know it at the opening of the movie, but you see Tillman walking through an undisclosed bar.

• 1:03:52Travis Kelce?

  He's scouting.

• 1:03:53Speaker 03

Right away, the tone is set. He enters a rough and rowdy bar with rock and roll music playing, tits on display.

• 1:03:59Travis Kelce?

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:04:00Speaker 03

And it pans to a profile view of our lead man, Patrick Swayze, AKA James Dalton. That's right.

• 1:04:08Travis Kelce?

  Dalton.

• 1:04:08Speaker 03

Chiseled jawline, impeccable hair. He is, uh, dealing with an issue at the bar. Right away, we see his controlled demeanor. Clearly experienced, he handles the situation without igniting it further. We see this is a bad man as he is stitching his own arm after being cut with a blade.

• 1:04:28Travis Kelce?

  Electric.

• 1:04:29Speaker 03

He is offered the job by Tillman for handsomely, uh, payment. I think in 1989, it was handsome payment. Um, and he accepts.

• 1:04:39Speaker 03

So that's the opening scene being set. Right away, we see this guy's been through some shit. Anybody stitching their own arm up and they're not like a doctor, they've been through some shit.

• 1:04:49Travis Kelce?

I only remember like one other scene like this and it was, it was Jean Claude Van Damme in a movie where he was like cutting out like a, like a bruise or some sort of like, I don't fucking know what he was cutting out. I thought it was like some sort of bruise or something, but.

• 1:05:03Speaker 03

Are you thinking of the Arnold movie where he's cutting out the tracker that's in him?

• 1:05:06Travis Kelce?

That's it. Or when he's like pulling it out of his nose.

• 1:05:10Speaker 03

  Yes, that's it.

• 1:05:11Travis Kelce?

These are the, either way. So back to Swayze. Swayze's.

• 1:05:14Speaker 03

  It's a total recall.

• 1:05:15Travis Kelce?

Movie starts off and I just, I enjoy the music. First off, shout out to Jeff Healy.

• 1:05:21Speaker 03

  Dude, kills it.

• 1:05:23Travis Kelce?

  Legend.

• 1:05:24Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 1:05:24Travis Kelce?

Absolute legend. It's, I was, I've been listening to Jeff Healy music all fucking day.

• 1:05:29Speaker 03

  Is he actually blind?

• 1:05:30Travis Kelce?

  Yes. Canadian.

• 1:05:31Speaker 03

So that was, that was true to.

• 1:05:32Travis Kelce?

From Toronto. Yes. I had to look him up and make sure that this was, this was legit and he is as legit as it comes. Blues, rock and roll, you name it, man.

• 1:05:41Speaker 03

Yeah. How about when it first goes into the double deuce and he's just in a cage and they're throwing gear like, like what kind of made up establishment is this?

• 1:05:48Travis Kelce?

Made up? Dude, these gotta fuck.

• 1:05:50Speaker 03

There's no way places like that exist.

• 1:05:52Travis Kelce?

What? You think this is, no, this is real. You think guys, you think there weren't fucking rundown establishments like this? It was in Blues Brothers too, I think.

• 1:06:00Speaker 03

The, the, like the first bar scene, they get in a fight because some dude says he's going to pay $20 to kiss another woman's tits. And then he doesn't pay.

• 1:06:09Travis Kelce?

  I don't got $20.

• 1:06:13Speaker 03

For some reason, the entire bar fights and it was just these two guys. Right away, we get into.

• 1:06:18Travis Kelce?

The music, the slang, some of the slang, like dude.

• 1:06:22Speaker 03

The slang? You're talking about like the one liners?

• 1:06:25Travis Kelce?

Just like somebody calling somebody else a hot shot.

• 1:06:29Speaker 03

Hot shot? Oh, I didn't even pick up on that. I was looking at the one liners. Dude, the one liners are so good. Peckerhead, peckerhead. Gosh, what's a, I got, what about the one liners? The guy says, does a hobby horse have a wooden dick?

• 1:06:47Travis Kelce?

Dude, calling me sir is like putting the elevator in the outhouse. Don't belong.

• 1:06:54Speaker 03

What is a, what are you doing dickless? Well, I ain't about to show you my dick.

• 1:07:03Travis Kelce?

  Dickless.

• 1:07:05Speaker 03

But I'm on my break. Stay on it.

• 1:07:07Travis Kelce?

Stay on it. That was a banger. When he's, uh, he's giving the lecture. So, so as we get into the movie, he, he's, he goes to this new bar, the Double Deuce, and, um, he starts to fix it up by immediately canning everybody. He's starting to can the problems, the drug dealing, dealing lady, the bar back that's, uh, stealing all the money, who, uh, who ends up being the, the villain in the movie's nephew and, uh, starts, starts to, the, the whole mess behind the scenes of, uh, what's actually going on in the bar.

• 1:07:35Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 1:07:35Travis Kelce?

Um, and he's, uh, he's sitting there telling every single guy or, and every, and every single girl, be nice. This is how we're gonna do it. When you kick someone out, you, you're nice.

• 1:07:47Speaker 03

What if they call you a name?

• 1:07:49Travis Kelce?

What do you mean? They call, they called me what?

• 1:07:51Speaker 03

If they call you a cocksucker.

• 1:07:52Travis Kelce?

Well, a cocksucker is just two nouns combined that elicit a prescribed response.

• 1:07:58Speaker 03

I love that. I probably could, I could have used this advice at Penn State.

• 1:08:01Travis Kelce?

Dude, I immediately thought, and I was not gonna bring this up unless you did.

• 1:08:06Speaker 03

When I was watching, I was thinking, I mean, I was like, god damn it, where was Dalton to Penn State?

• 1:08:12Travis Kelce?

Who would have thought Roadhouse would be an educational movie? Oh, I love it, dude. But, uh, yeah, I thought that was a banger. Um, and he, uh, he slowly starts to like, change the mind, mindset of it and the mindset of everybody in the bar.

• 1:08:26Speaker 03

  Yup.

• 1:08:27Travis Kelce?

To, uh, to do things his way. And as he starts to run it, um, you see all the problems starting. And one of my favorite things, favorite lines in it is it's gonna get worse before it gets better, bud.

• 1:08:36Speaker 03

  Yup.

• 1:08:37Travis Kelce?

  And, um.

• 1:08:37Speaker 03

  He's been through it before.

• 1:08:38Travis Kelce?

  Golly did it. Yeah.

• 1:08:40Speaker 03

And he had, then he knew it because he went to the, the tire store. When he bought the car, he bought extra tires because he knew what he was, he knew somebody was gonna slash his tires.

• 1:08:48Travis Kelce?

  He knew.

• 1:08:50Speaker 03

  Same, my first rodeo.

• 1:08:51Travis Kelce?

Oh, they went for the windshield too.

• 1:08:53Speaker 03

There's something zen-like with, I mean, we find out later that he's a, like a legitimate philosopher, but there's a zen-like presence to Dalton that just is, is, is fun. I, there's the one scene where he's doing tai chi. I'm not a big tai chi guy.

• 1:09:06Travis Kelce?

Not a big tai chi guy unless.

• 1:09:09Speaker 03

I will say that. He looked real good doing tai chi.

• 1:09:12Travis Kelce?

If doing tai chi like that means I can rip somebody's throat out, I'll fucking start doing it right now.

• 1:09:21Speaker 03

  Can we talk about?

• 1:09:23Travis Kelce?

Just have that in the back pocket, just like.

• 1:09:26Speaker 03

Can we talk about the sexuality through this whole film? I mean, I guess we'll get to that later. Let's just keep going through the plot. Let's keep going through the plot.

• 1:09:32Travis Kelce?

Yeah. The best thing about Patrick Swayze in the beginning of this movie is he is like the poster child for like when you start acting.

• 1:09:40Speaker 03

  Oh, my gosh.

• 1:09:42Travis Kelce?

Look at this. Look at this scene, though. The fucking the pan around. You see the beautiful land that he's on. Like, how did he find a fucking? Rent a barn over here on this fucking property across on a pond. Like, you want to talk about a perfect situation.

• 1:09:57Speaker 03

I do love how he just ingratiates himself to the community, to all these just like. Figures that like need help. Like, he's their protector.

• 1:10:06Travis Kelce?

Oh, he immediately went from, you know, saving the, he has to turn this double deuce around to saving the community. Fucking shitbags that have been running it for forever.

• 1:10:18Speaker 03

By the way, he's called a cooler. Have you ever heard of bouncer called a cooler?

• 1:10:20Travis Kelce?

I didn't know that was pretty sweet. I haven't heard of that one, no.

• 1:10:23Speaker 03

Yeah, I like that, though. It's like you're not bouncing people. You're cool and the situation's down.

• 1:10:27Travis Kelce?

  Everybody be cool.

• 1:10:28Speaker 03

  I like that.

• 1:10:29Travis Kelce?

  Chill out.

• 1:10:30Speaker 03

Well, for those of you that haven't seen the film, the film then progresses. As Dalton tries to clean up the double deuce, he runs into this gentleman, Ben Wesley, and it's apparent that Ben Wesley is a piece of shit. And in some ways, some type of underground mafioso where he's got people.

• 1:10:50Travis Kelce?

  In every pocket, yeah.

• 1:10:52Speaker 03

It's they're a part of like this club.

• 1:10:54Travis Kelce?

  Stronghold on the community.

• 1:10:56Speaker 03

Club. If they're not a part of the club and they're not paying them money, then he just ruins their establishment alive.

• 1:11:02Travis Kelce?

  Running the unions.

• 1:11:03Speaker 03

Yeah, pretty, pretty bad guy. There's also a love story to this. That's right.

• 1:11:09Travis Kelce?

  Oh, Doc.

• 1:11:10Speaker 03

Doctor, Doctor Clay. That's right. She is, I mean, a smoke show. Fantastic lady.

• 1:11:18Speaker 03

Who Dalton meets after the first knife infliction, well, second knife infliction on his arm. This one, he can't stitch up his stuff. No, this one's in his ribs. He has to get a stitch up his ribs.

• 1:11:30Travis Kelce?

  Yep.

• 1:11:30Speaker 03

Meets the doc immediately. I mean, you could tell they're feeling each other. They're getting the googly eyes.

• 1:11:36Travis Kelce?

Why don't you come on down to the double deuce?

• 1:11:38Speaker 03

  That's right.

• 1:11:39Travis Kelce?

Let me buy you a drink, Doctor.

• 1:11:45Speaker 03

So they start to, you know, have feelings for each other and that gets into a whole nother thing. Um, and then, yeah, it just continues to like Wesley wants to retain control over the double deuce. Dalton is trying to fix the double deuce and, and the only way he can fix it is by ridding the double deuce of Wesley's control. So Wesley starts, his goons start trying to pretty much strong arm Dalton into giving into him and he's not doing it. The bar's fighting back. It's getting to a point that he needs help. So his buddy Wade Garrett, played by Sam Elliott, comes on down. Clearly they have history. They don't get into it too much, I don't think, but

• 1:12:24Speaker 03

uh, they've been through this show before and it's Sam or sorry, Wade Elliott and Dalton uh, fighting against Ben. Uh, at some point it feels like his best friends like hitting on his girl. Did you pick up on that too?

• 1:12:39Travis Kelce?

  That was a very interesting.

• 1:12:41Speaker 03

Kind of a dirtbag move by Wade.

• 1:12:43Travis Kelce?

And then a real aggressive quote, which was probably acceptable back in the eighties, but.

• 1:12:48Speaker 03

But showing a lady your pubes? I didn't like, he had a scar and he didn't need to unbutton it and show the top half of his pubes. Like he could have just flapped down that one section.

• 1:13:02Speaker 03

I did not remember seeing Sam Elliott's pubes.

• 1:13:05Travis Kelce?

Dude, Sam Elliott without a mustache kind of fucked me up too.

• 1:13:09Speaker 03

He had a mustache, didn't he?

• 1:13:11Travis Kelce?

  No, he had a beard.

• 1:13:12Speaker 03

Yeah, that's right. It was a full beard.

• 1:13:14Travis Kelce?

Like I'm thinking like, when I think of Sam Elliott, I think of like the.

• 1:13:16Speaker 03

  Mustache cowboy western.

• 1:13:18Travis Kelce?

Yeah, you know what it is.

• 1:13:19Speaker 03

  Yeah, for sure.

• 1:13:20Travis Kelce?

He's a smooth operator either way, man. He had the locks.

• 1:13:22Speaker 03

No doubt. From there, things continually start to digress even more. Things reach a boiling point when Wesley lights fire to Dr. Clay's uncle's establishment and it all starts blowing up. Uh, to which Dalton finds Jimmy Reno, who was uh, the right-hand man to Ben Wesley, uh, jumps on him riding, was he riding a motorcycle or a dirt bike?

• 1:13:51Travis Kelce?

Yeah, he was trying to, little getaway bike.

• 1:13:53Speaker 03

Little getaway bike. Dalton jumps on him, spears him off the bike. Then they get into a battle.

• 1:13:58Travis Kelce?

  It's on like.

• 1:13:58Speaker 03

I'm not gonna lie. Jimmy Reno's shit talking was way better in this battle. Dalton was very simplistic in his shit talking. Like, all this has happened. He's lit fire to a guy's house. He's lit fire to a barn, or like house. Jimmy Reno's a big fire guy.

• 1:14:15Travis Kelce?

I know exactly what you're talking about.

• 1:14:18Speaker 03

Lights fire to the establishment, then he lights fire to the barn. And Dalton's had enough. He's like, fuck, he tackles him off. And then he's like, Reno's talking shit to him and he just says, "You are such an asshole."

• 1:14:32Speaker 03

If that's not the understatement of the year.

• 1:14:34Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:14:36Speaker 03

  And then Jimmy.

• 1:14:37Travis Kelce?

That's only the start of it.

• 1:14:38Speaker 03

Well, Jimmy Reno hits him with the line mid-fight. When he's got the upper hand, he thinks he's about to win. He hits him with the line, "I used to [bleep] guys like you in prison." Which, that's a hell of a line to rip out. Can I say something? Normally, normally, we don't bleep out curse words. Because we want this show to be authentic. I think we need to bleep out whenever we say, "I used to [bleep] guys like you in prison." Like, it just, it feels too aggressive to like leave unadulterated in the episode.

• 1:15:08Travis Kelce?

And then that was a fucking wild ass.

• 1:15:10Speaker 03

  That was a crazy line.

• 1:15:12Travis Kelce?

You heard that and then you saw his throat get yanked out.

• 1:15:15Speaker 03

Did you see what Dalton said after? You know what Dalton says to that?

• 1:15:18Travis Kelce?

  No.

• 1:15:18Speaker 03

All he says back is, "Go fuck yourself."

• 1:15:23Speaker 03

It's like, bro, that's not a good, he won that talking shit. But anyways, Dalton wins with the throat rip. Which, there's this underlying, there's this underlying tone, right? I, first of all, I, just impeccable technique on the throat rip. I mean, the claw, the, like, just immediately going right for the esophagus. And he just nailed it. I think there's an underlying through the whole film of this PTSD that Dalton has. For, we, we learned that he has already previously done a throat rip. And he feels bad that he killed a person. Even though Wade tries to remind him that it had to be done. And then all of a sudden, he, he gets to this boiling point.

• 1:16:04Speaker 03

This stoic, like, very controlled man Dalton gets to this boiling point. And he, and he just rips it out again. To which, Dr. Clay, seeing.

• 1:16:16Speaker 03

How high of a level that Swayze can get to is just like, oh my God, this guy just ripped the throat out? Maybe I shouldn't be with this guy.

• 1:16:27Travis Kelce?

I don't need to be around this.

• 1:16:28Speaker 03

This is a little bit intense. We could have just left.

• 1:16:35Travis Kelce?

Yeah. Well, how else am I supposed to be?

• 1:16:37Speaker 03

And just when you think it's kind of over. I mean, I feel like once you, once you've proven you can throat rip, I feel like usually you would think the bad guy was, would go away. But not, not, not Wesley. Wesley goes on to give Dalton a call at the double deuce and says, you gotta choose between her, Dr. Clay and Wade. Oh, wait, I'm gonna flip a coin. I'm gonna, I'm gonna kill one of them. That's what it is. He's not gonna choose. Flip a coin. Doesn't tell him which one. He goes to Dr. Clay, for some reason, leaving Wade. Like, why, if you know that he just said, I'm gonna kill one of them, why not bring Wade with you to Dr. Clay? I thought that was a big, like, he fucked that one up. Take Wade with you. Just put him in the car.

• 1:17:16Travis Kelce?

You definitely don't leave him alone.

• 1:17:17Speaker 03

  Don't leave him by himself.

• 1:17:18Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:17:19Speaker 03

That was, he fucked that one up.

• 1:17:21Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, especially, yeah.

• 1:17:22Speaker 03

So he leaves Wade, goes to Dr. Clay. Dr. Clay's like, listen, I ain't fucking with you anymore. You just ripped a guy's throat out. We're not in this together.

• 1:17:28Travis Kelce?

Actually, I can't be seen with you.

• 1:17:29Speaker 03

  You're, you're a psychopath.

• 1:17:31Travis Kelce?

If you come around here one more time, I will get a restraining order. I just saw you fucking rip someone's throat out. That's, you were so hot until that. Now you're just scary.

• 1:17:43Speaker 03

I, I can't believe I used to think you were sexy.

• 1:17:45Travis Kelce?

  You were so hot.

• 1:17:47Speaker 03

So Dalton goes back to the double deuce only to find a knife in his best friend and confidant's chest, to which he loses it and decides to go attack Ben Wesley at his house.

• 1:18:00Travis Kelce?

  Yes.

• 1:18:01Speaker 03

Wesley's waiting. He knows that angry Dalton's coming. Dalton pulls a pretty cool move. He puts a knife in the gas pedal with the car to create a diversion.

• 1:18:10Travis Kelce?

Yeah, from about a mile out too. It's crazy. I don't know how he had the precision to keep that car going on the road, the dirt road.

• 1:18:18Speaker 03

We don't need to ask questions. But then Dalton proceeds to kill everybody throughout the house, knocks the polar bear and the fat guy, and then gets into an altercation, the final boss battle with Wesley. And he's with him, he's knocked the gun out of his hand a couple of times. And he's got him pinned and he's about to go for the throat rip. And he realizes this is where I gotta be the bigger man.

• 1:18:41Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:18:42Speaker 03

I'm just gonna walk, walk away.

• 1:18:44Travis Kelce?

  Can't do that. No.

• 1:18:45Speaker 03

And right when he walks away, like, I don't know, he didn't know that the other people were there.

• 1:18:50Travis Kelce?

No, that was the universe responding to his kindness.

• 1:18:53Speaker 03

Yeah, but like, how did he, why did he just get up? Like, he had to know that Wesley was just gonna go grab the gun again and try and kill him. But he just walks away, but, and then out of nowhere, all of the townspeople are in the house. They haven't been referenced at all.

• 1:19:07Travis Kelce?

  Fucked over by Wesley.

• 1:19:08Speaker 03

They haven't been referenced at all.

• 1:19:10Travis Kelce?

The car salesman, the, the car, uh, where the, what is it? The, the maintenance shop, the, the car dealership, the.

• 1:19:18Speaker 03

  Owner of the double deuce.

• 1:19:19Travis Kelce?

Double deuce, the guys that Wesley had had a strong arm over the entire time, the farmer. Everybody got their shot in.

• 1:19:27Speaker 03

Yeah, they, they're all just like sitting there. I don't know where they came from. Like, they knew that Dalton, like, did Dalton call them before he went over there? Cause otherwise they would, why would they go to Wesley's house?

• 1:19:37Travis Kelce?

Because the universe told them to, Jason.

• 1:19:39Speaker 03

All right, well, they end up there and they each proceed to shoot him with a shotgun and like this very dramatic scene.

• 1:19:45Travis Kelce?

  It was beautiful.

• 1:19:46Speaker 03

  That doesn't make any sense.

• 1:19:48Travis Kelce?

Because he had the, all the game trophies around the room.

• 1:19:53Speaker 03

Oh, I didn't even think about that.

• 1:19:54Travis Kelce?

  Yeah, the trophy room.

• 1:19:55Speaker 03

  All the animals.

• 1:19:56Travis Kelce?

And, um, it had showed all the, uh, all the lives he had taken. And all the.

• 1:20:01Speaker 03

That's one theme. I didn't think about that. I thought it was just a, like a, a symbol of like everybody saying enough is enough, right? Anyways, they each shoot him with a shotgun, he dies, then a cop comes, the first time this entire movie, there's been assaults, there's been stabbings, there's been like, people have been knocked unconscious. The first time you see a cop the entire movie.

• 1:20:24Speaker 03

And they said most inept motherfucker of all time. He's like, what happened here? And everybody's just like, I didn't see anything. Did you, Billy? I didn't see anything. What about you, Kevin? I didn't see anything.

• 1:20:36Travis Kelce?

  I didn't see anything.

• 1:20:37Speaker 03

The only thing the guy said he saw is he saw a polar bear.

• 1:20:39Travis Kelce?

  That's it.

• 1:20:40Speaker 03

That was the end of it. Everybody just got away with it.

• 1:20:43Travis Kelce?

Me and you, me and you both, we always saw.

• 1:20:45Speaker 03

And then Dr. Clay, Clay came to her senses because Dalton had saved the town. And everybody lived happily ever after.

• 1:20:52Travis Kelce?

Yeah. And he pulled, he pulled, I'm pretty sure Dr. Clay's related to the gentleman that uh, he was renting the house from.

• 1:21:01Speaker 03

Favorite scene? I think the shotgun finale is fantastic. The throat rip scene is great.

• 1:21:07Travis Kelce?

  Yeah.

• 1:21:07Speaker 03

We already talked about the Tai Chi scene.

• 1:21:09Travis Kelce?

I honestly, I just liked that first scene in the actual like deuce, the double deuce. Where it's just showing all the havoc and just the fucking village idiots that are in there every night, just drinking the fucking, drinking out the tap, dude. It was, I mean, it was hilarious.

• 1:21:26Speaker 03

Gosh, that is so good. All right. Let's give it a PFF grade. Score from one to 10 on cinematography. All right. Cinematography. It's definitely dated, you know, it's, it's 89 movie, but I like the scenes. I like the sets. I'll go, I'll go, I'll go seven and a half.

• 1:21:47Travis Kelce?

You're tough. I'll give it an eight. I enjoyed it.

• 1:21:49Speaker 03

Acting, I mean, I would not say that this is a good acting movie. As great as it is, and maybe the bad acting is part of the reason it's great. I'm gonna give the acting a five. I'm gonna give it a five.

• 1:22:03Travis Kelce?

Absolutely no emotion at all until, until, I forget, until like Wesley actually started to like ruin like people's like.

• 1:22:15Travis Kelce?

  Livelihoods.

• 1:22:16Speaker 03

I think you're right on that. So what are you going? Is it lower than a five? It was, the acting's really bad.

• 1:22:22Travis Kelce?

The fight scenes are awesome, though.

• 1:22:23Speaker 03

  The fight scenes are great.

• 1:22:25Travis Kelce?

I do love the fight scenes. I'll give it a, I'll give it a six. I'll give it a six.

• 1:22:30Speaker 03

  Directing, I mean, a 10. Absolutely hilarious.

• 1:22:35Travis Kelce?

It's not supposed to be funny, but I can't help it. It's like, it's not, it's not, but it is.

• 1:22:40Speaker 03

The reason it's a 10 is it's just like, everything is maxed for what the movie is. It's.

• 1:22:46Travis Kelce?

One of my favorite scenes of the entire movie is when he throws the knife in the fucking, uh, the accelerator in the car.

• 1:22:54Speaker 03

  Yes, yes.

• 1:22:55Travis Kelce?

The, the, the gas pedal, throws the knife in the gas pedal.

• 1:22:58Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:22:59Travis Kelce?

And the car goes straight for like a half a mile.

• 1:23:02Speaker 03

  Yep, yep, yep.

• 1:23:03Travis Kelce?

And then on top of that, not only does it go up a ramp, but it starts, turns over and it's fucking fire comes out of it like it was being exploded.

• 1:23:15Speaker 03

Well, that's because the guy with the shotgun shot the, the fuel tank. That's what it was supposed to happen. Like it was like a, like a shooting clay.

• 1:23:26Speaker 03

  It was just such.

• 1:23:27Travis Kelce?

Just, all right, somehow we have to have a car going in the air. That was like the eighties. Like, all right, let's do it. Bring it in the, uh, bring in the, the blow up car.

• 1:23:37Speaker 03

Like between the lines, I mean, I know that's writing, but like the directing, like the way everything came together and the just complete hodgepodge of masculinity combined with like sexuality combined with, uh, just, it was just, it's fantastic. Did you know the director's name is literally Rowdy?

• 1:23:59Travis Kelce?

  No.

• 1:23:59Speaker 03

  That's great. All right.

• 1:24:01Travis Kelce?

Rowdy Harrington. Shout out to Rowdy Harrington, man.

• 1:24:03Speaker 03

I will say plot. I think the plot is low.

• 1:24:06Travis Kelce?

I think the plot is high. I do. I, I think, I think this was a very, very creative plot. I don't think this is like, that's why I think the movie has been recreated. It's because the plot of like a guy going in and saving a bar from its.

• 1:24:22Speaker 03

  And hence saving a town.

• 1:24:24Travis Kelce?

Then saving a town. It's like, I don't know, maybe I'm, maybe I'm silly, but I just think that that's not, that's not like your typical like action movie.

• 1:24:33Speaker 03

I think it's pretty typical action. I'll go plot, but I do, I mean, you're right. I don't know. It could, the plots falls in love with the doctor. Like if it wasn't done in such like an absurd way.

• 1:24:44Travis Kelce?

Yeah. It's not like this is like a cop, a cop going in and like getting out dirty cops and like, like they don't bring the police in this thing at all. It's just literally like cross town, like warfare.

• 1:24:54Speaker 03

Yeah. If you take the throat rip out, all the absurdity of it, and it's just the bare bones plot to it, like a bouncer comes in, he helps fixing up an establishment, ingratiates himself to a community and starts to slowly find out that there's uh, an underground, uh, set of bad guys that are really hurting the city and he helps the city, uh, muster up the strength and courage to fight back, uh, and resist that. All right, fine. You convinced me. I'll go eight on plot, eight on plot.

• 1:25:21Travis Kelce?

Nice. I'll go a solid eight with you just cause I convinced you.

• 1:25:24Speaker 03

  Character development.

• 1:25:26Travis Kelce?

Dude, again, another one of those, like, like I said earlier, like that first half of the movie, he gives you less is more. And like, that's the thing. Those are like the things that I, I, I, I was being told as like getting into like the acting where it's like, less is more. Don't do a lot. We don't need, we don't need you to be, you know, Denzel Washington or like Leonardo, like you don't have to be the best at this. All right. Less is more. Feel the scenes out and that's exactly what Swayze is doing in the beginning. He's giving you absolutely just one line, one word answers and one word lines.

• 1:26:04Travis Kelce?

No emotion, straight face. And then by the end of it, he is just a out of control, just like a trained killer. He was the absolute trained killer and showing so much emotion that he couldn't control it.

• 1:26:18Speaker 03

That's really what the story ends up being about. This story is about like, you can only take so much. Like, you know, turn the other cheek, but eventually you gotta stick up for yourself. You gotta put your foot down. You gotta fight back at some point and. He Dalton does a great job of holding back as long as he can. And this community has been bullied and taken advantage of for so long. Yeah. Anyways, character development. I just don't know. I mean, Dalton's character, he's got like PTSD from a previous throat rip.

• 1:26:47Travis Kelce?

I just thought he'd be bigger than what he was.

• 1:26:49Speaker 03

Do you know how many times I get, I was, I have been said that my entire career, whenever I meet somebody.

• 1:26:54Travis Kelce?

Every time I'm getting sized up from fucking everyone my entire career.

• 1:26:58Speaker 03

Thought you'd be bigger. Yeah, go fuck yourself.

• 1:27:03Travis Kelce?

Try and guard me one on one.

• 1:27:06Speaker 03

It's my wife says, alrighty, uh, character development.

• 1:27:11Travis Kelce?

I enjoyed it. Give me a seven.

• 1:27:12Speaker 03

  Fine. Yes.

• 1:27:14Travis Kelce?

We gave you guys our reviews.

• 1:27:15Speaker 03

Hold up. That's a PFF grade of seven point eight. I think that's a pretty solid PFF.

• 1:27:21Travis Kelce?

Pretty solid. Yeah. What did we give, uh, torture? Uh, not torture. What do we give, uh?

• 1:27:25Speaker 03

I think you got an eighty. I think you got an eight point two or something like that, maybe?

• 1:27:31Travis Kelce?

  We fucked this up.

• 1:27:33Travis Kelce?

You're being too nice. I blame Jason.

• 1:27:35Speaker 03

Well, one of them is actually trying to be like a good film. This is just a freaking.

• 1:27:38Travis Kelce?

  Dude's movie.

• 1:27:39Speaker 03

It's a great movie. It's so good. All right. Letterboxd reviews from the Greek Creek. I used to.

• 1:27:48Speaker 03

The Greek geek. I can't, we can't keep saying this line, but I'm going to repeat it one more time. I used to guys like you in prison is the eighties version of I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast. Okay. So I'm not the only one who thought that.

• 1:28:00Travis Kelce?

Nope. It's a banger. All right. Um, from David Chen. When people talk about how movie executives in the eighties were doing excessive amounts of cocaine. This is the kind of film these executives end up making.

• 1:28:14Speaker 03

This is a very good take by David Chen.

• 1:28:16Travis Kelce?

Do you think we could get away with a throat? Being yanked out of another.

• 1:28:23Speaker 03

That's a very good take, David. Alrighty, from Ian West. Eighties bar western with a hell of a first act. Then shit starts exploding. Silver Fox, Sam Elliott shows up. And during a showdown, the villain's henchman says, I used to [bleep] guys like you in prison. Moments before getting his throat ripped out by Patrick Swayze. Sounds like at least four stars to me.

• 1:28:45Travis Kelce?

That's what I'm saying. We need to bump that PFF grade up to at least an eight.

• 1:28:49Speaker 03

Well, what is a Letterboxd? What is four stars? Is four stars the most you can get? Out of five. So, I mean, four stars out of eight is an eight. Four stars out of five is an eight. Out of 10. So we're pretty much right on board with where David is.

• 1:29:01Travis Kelce?

Need to bump this up to an eight. That's what I said.

• 1:29:05Travis Kelce?

Nice. Either way, we're pretty close.

• 1:29:07Speaker 03

I like our score. I think it's fair. Would I recommend this movie? Yes, absolutely.

• 1:29:12Travis Kelce?

I would recommend this to a man. I would not recommend this to a woman.

• 1:29:15Speaker 03

I would recommend it to a woman if you want to understand how men think. Good movies go.

• 1:29:23Speaker 03

If you want to get to the root of like what?

• 1:29:25Travis Kelce?

If you recommend it with that attached to the recommendation, then yes, I would recommend this to everyone.

• 1:29:31Speaker 03

If you want to understand men more, watch Roadhouse.

• 1:29:36Travis Kelce?

It's so fucked up, but it's so true.

• 1:29:38Speaker 03

Like even the love story with Dr. Clay, like there's not like any. Type of substance put to it. She's just really good looking and she takes care of him a little bit like. That's the extent of it.

• 1:29:51Travis Kelce?

Yeah. I mean, he reads and that, that, that'll. That'll help you out. If you read and you do yoga.

• 1:29:59Speaker 03

  He's a gentleman. He's, he's very chivalrous.

• 1:30:01Travis Kelce?
