Why Borders Matter: Race Riots in Europe, Israel Under Attack & the Global Culture War | The Tom Bilyeu Show LIVE

Welcome back to Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu! In this thought-provoking episode, guest host Robert Breedlove and co-host Drew dive headfirst into today’s most pressing issues—from escalating international conflicts in Israel and Europe to the far-reaching impacts of immigration, shifting values, and the silent transformation of Western culture. The conversation doesn’t shy away from controversy: expect candid takes on open borders, the interplay between cultural preservation and changing demographics, and provocative parallels between past and present societies. The duo also unpacks the looming challenges of AI, debt, crumbling political leadership, and the role of economic incentives, arguing about everything from money printing to whether corporations owe us more than just a paycheck. You’ll hear hot-button debates on the infamous Epstein case, government transparency, and America’s precarious dance with totalitarianism. Throughout, Robert and Drew challenge each other—and their live chat—to consider the real-world consequences of policy decisions, historical cycles, and the relentless pursuit of freedom and values. Let's talk about the moment your side hustle becomes a real business. Now, I see way too many founders stay stuck running their business like it's a hobby. And then they wonder why nothing ever feels real. It doesn't feel real because it's not. I've helped thousands of entrepreneurs build real businesses through Impact Theory University. And the first step in the path to building a legit business is registering it. And Taylor Brands will help you do just that in a few clicks. An LLC, a limited liability company, is an official business structure. It's inexpensive to form and very simple to maintain. It's how you open a business bank account. It's how customers know they're dealing with a real company. And Taylor Brands doesn't stop at the filing.

Their dashboard tracks what comes next based on what your business actually needs. So EIN number, registered agent, licenses and permits, bookkeeping, business banking. I tell every founder the same thing. Just make it official. Click the link in the show notes to check out Taylor Brands and get started on your business today. This is a paid advertisement.

• 1:38Tom Bilyeu?

What's up, everybody? Welcome to the Tom Bilyeu Show. Drew, how we doing today?

• 1:43Speaker 02

I was doing good, but Israel got beef. There is never a war that Israel won't find itself fighting, man. They are back at it.

• 1:50Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, I was surprised to see this one as well. From what we can see, it looks like Syria, which obviously is in the middle of turmoil right now, was going after their Druze population. There is a large contingent of Druze inside of Israel. Apparently, they feel enough solidarity with the Druze in their own country that they are going after. Uh, the Syrian Ministry of Defense. And that is about what I know about it right now. So any information chat that you guys have definitely help surface. And we can go deeper on this bad boy.

• 2:23Speaker 02

Yeah, and here is the interview. Here is the live feed from the newscast. There was a bombing happening while they were going live.

• 2:35Tom Bilyeu?

Now, she looks like she's in front of a green screen, but obviously clearly reacting to that. So it's either, uh, they have her in front of a big window, which I suppose is possible. And then just the lighting makes it look weird. Or, uh, they're so close to it despite the fact that that is being just broadcast behind her that you still get the one for one effect. But, and there's more footage of it where you can see the whole building gets absolutely demolished. So they end up, I think, dropping more bombs on it. Uh, but is a real thing.

• 3:08Speaker 02

Um, so international relations are definitely picking up over there. We'll monitor that situation. Um, in related international news, there has been migrant clashes in Spain. Spain went full race war over the weekend where there was immigrants and migrants, really immigrants and natives clashing, um, after a native old man was beaten by a couple migrants. And that just started a snowball, right? But oh, that just kind of escalated.

• 3:34Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, I'm, uh, I am going to be very curious to see how this plays out all across Europe. I think anybody that is underestimating how much this is going to escalate across Europe is not paying close enough attention to human nature. Uh, so we'll see how far it goes, but open borders is going to have consequences. Europe has been doing it for a very long time. You've got France now still calling for, um, hey, anybody in Palestine, you guys are good to go, you can come in here, uh, we'll welcome you. And then because of the way that European laws work, they could then go anywhere they want in Europe. Uh, and when you've got the local countries like Egypt, Jordan, won't take Palestinians

• 4:17Tom Bilyeu?

because, and listen, admittedly, I'm headline reading at this point, but, uh, from What I have seen in the headlines, there's just so much chaos that has followed them. In terms of them seeing themselves as fighters for the cause that people like nah, nah, nah, nah. Like, we don't want to bring that into our country. And so if Europe is going to import that, like, it's wild. This is a very, you brought this up when we were recording the tight 60 yesterday and you said, oh, this feels kind of ironic. This is like colonizers being afraid of the colonized. I don't want to put words in your mouth, but like that sentiment. To me, that is self-evidently true, but as a reminder to everybody, what the fuck does that matter? It's like, first of all, that wasn't me. I didn't roll up in somebody's country and do all this shit.

• 5:01Tom Bilyeu?

This is just, this is the world order as of today, and that doesn't change the fact that when you roll into somebody's country, that there are, if, if you let unfiltered numbers of people come into your country that do not share your values, you are going to have a collision. And so just as if the Native Americans could take it all back, I think they would. Just like if the native population of Mexico could stop Cortez from rolling up on their shores, I think they would. So it's like, ah, I'm not gonna, regardless of whether my ancestors, ancestors, ancestors, like rolled up into somebody's country and did heinous stuff, I'm not going to invite people to roll into my country and do that. And this is exactly what you see happening across Europe.

• 5:47Tom Bilyeu?

And people are caught in some sort of guilt loop or what, what's his name calls parasitic? No, suicidal empathy. Thank you. Shout out to our boy Gad Sad. So I don't know if that's what's going on, but this will have consequences. It just seems crazy that people aren't going, hmm, let's try to run the, the second and third order consequences of this. What, what is really happening from a physics perspective?

• 6:14Speaker 02

Travis Hobbs said in the chat, if US wants to give Israel back to the Jews, then why doesn't the US give, give us back to the Native Americans? Cause Native Americans are all dead, Travis. No, they're not here anymore. They're here. The rest, the ones that aren't dead are in the casinos.

• 6:28Tom Bilyeu?

Oh, god damn. Drew's trying to get us turned off the internet, everybody. Uh, well, if we really want to have that conversation, which I actually think is a worthy conversation to have, this is where everybody has to remember that you are living in a world where, um, might wins. And if you play the game well enough, you can take over land. I mean, this is exactly what, um, immigrants from North Africa and the Middle East are doing all across Europe. I haven't looked at it closely enough to know whether this is a Muslim thing. Uh, but whatever it is, whether it's just immigration from North Africa and the Middle East, and it's totally, they're not grouping up around religion because I honestly don't know if there are enough religions to divide them, or if there's a Sunni Shiite divide

• 7:13Tom Bilyeu?

that I'm not calculating, I don't know. Uh, but what is ultimately going to be asked and answered is will Europe stand up for itself? Will Europe say, we have a culture, it's worth protecting. We know that the way that you protect that is by having borders. Uh, if, if they have an illegal immigration problem, getting the people that are illegally there out. Uh, and if they don't, they are going to be taken over in the same way that Palestine was taken over by the Jews. So I mean, read about the way that the Jews, uh, took over Palestine and established the state. It's pretty gangster. Like, they were just like, okay, we're gonna bring in enough people, uh, that we will become economically and politically powerful, and then we're gonna make it ours. And they did it.

• 7:58Tom Bilyeu?

And so, like, if you're mad about that, but now you're not mad that people are doing that in other countries? Like, I'm, I'm not sure how to play this game. And the reality is, if they succeed, then they succeed. Like, there, there's no one coming to save anybody. Like, you have to do it yourself. So. I'm very surprised by the way that people react to this. And I'm very curious if this is the same kind of thing that just this is what always plays out? Like at first our people-

• 8:26Speaker 02

I have more faith in our constitution than that because I think that there are the checks and balances of the constitution of the separation between federal and state. That if there is a large influx of people into a certain area, I can think, for example, there was, when the Somali immigration first came, they really parked them predominantly in like Minnesota somewhere. And while Minnesota's demographics have changed and they were always traditionally blue, I don't think that that necessarily created a crazy ethos in Minnesota that is now impacting other states and other places. So while I-

• 8:59Tom Bilyeu?

Do you think that it's impacting Minnesota? And you just think that there's enough of an immune system that America as a whole won't have a problem? Or are you saying, no, no, no, even in Minnesota, they're all just becoming Americans?

• 9:11Speaker 02

I think in Minnesota, the initial shock, is there Somali like populations within Minnesota that are probably isolated and are probably, I don't want to say instituting Sharia law and going full crazy, but I do think that there is something to holding their religious, holding their cultural backgrounds intact. But at the same time, I don't, it's the equivalent of us like having a Chinatown. Like because a bunch of Chinese came and created a Chinatown, that doesn't necessarily have a ripple effect across the rest of the economy that is disproportionately hurting us or-

• 9:40Tom Bilyeu?

Do you think that happens accidentally? Or do you think that you have to have policies to combat this kind of stuff?

• 9:45Speaker 02

Do I think Chinatown's happens accidentally or do I think-

• 9:47Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, let's take the Chinese because obviously America put into place restrictions on Chinese immigration. Probably partly racism, probably part, not probably, probably partly racism and definitely partly a country going, mm, we probably need to slow this down so that we can make sure that people are assimilating.

• 10:05Speaker 02

But I mean, I could call you, I challenge you in every state, I think that there's a culture community everywhere. There's a neighborhood in LA, Pico Union, where it's just all Spanish. There's a neighborhood in Jersey, Richfield Park, that's all Korean. So like there are these different pockets all over the US that have- These immigrants come together and it is a quote unquote safe haven for them. And while they might speak a different language, they might have a different religion, they're still working hard, they're still.

• 10:30Tom Bilyeu?

But play that out, sure, I don't disagree with any of that, so, but play that out. Do you think that if a, um, I'll always refer to it as a value set. So if people, um, and let's just make it about the one that's gonna be the hot button issue over the next 10 years. If enough people of Muslim faith come here, will they then want to see their religion find its way into politics?

• 10:58Speaker 02

Maybe, I'll say maybe because the US is largely American, uh, and it's not necessarily, the US is largely Christian. And Christian politics has had a hard time in like infiltrating the schools and this Fred and the state and things.

• 11:14Tom Bilyeu?

Interesting, you and I have a very different read of America, so here's how I look at this and I go. The British and Europeans, uh, managed to turn Native Americans and all of their land into a Christian nation. The Spaniards managed to turn essentially all of South America into Christian nations. And these were not Christian populations when they rolled up. Say what you want about, uh, human sacrifice and mass decapitations, like they had their own beliefs and they just got killed. They got smallpox to death and then they found out real fast about what steel weapons are like. And when you read about how Cortez took over all that stuff, it is absolutely wild.

• 11:56Tom Bilyeu?

Uh, when you hear about Christopher Columbus and how he rolled up and was like, oh my God, like these guys are so welcoming and so nice. We can kill and enslave them all, literally writing these things in his journal. Uh, we can enslave them all, I can bring you as many slaves you want, I'm gonna get them to go get all the gold for me, I'll cut off their hands if, uh. Like he made them wear like a trinket, if I remember right, that said like this person has brought their amount of gold that they have to bring. And if they didn't have that trinket, they would cut their hands off, it is insane. And so I'm not saying that the people coming over are doing that, I think we live in a different era, it's not quite that barbaric. However, it's like humans have a very long history of being like, I'm gonna start chill.

• 12:38Tom Bilyeu?

Because I don't have any power here, uh, but I'm gonna take over. And we've seen it as recently as Israel. This is what people do. I think this is what all people do. I think this is what Europeans do. I think this is what um, North Africans do. I think this is what people in the Middle East are gonna do. Like, this is just what people do. And take Japan. If Japan is like, oh god, like, there's no Japanese babies anymore. So we gotta bring people in, so we gotta keep this economy going. They will stop being Japanese. Just full stop. If you import a bunch of Americans who are like, animated out, and they roll up, and they're like, this is dope. And then, literally 50 years from now, Japan has, starts with Little America, and then it becomes like, we're putting ourselves into politics.

• 13:20Tom Bilyeu?

And all of a sudden, you've got like, some weird American-Japan hybrid. This is how it works. And so, we are living through a moment where every country is gonna be asked, are you gonna fight for your values or not? And if you're gonna fight for your values, you gotta start having a lot of babies, because you gotta deal with your demographic problems. And, you've gotta tell other people to fuck off, get out of my country. And if you don't, then whatever country has the most cultural energy, they're going to take your dumb ass over. And if we're perfectly fine with that, then great, but stop bitching about the Jews, because that's all they did. They ran that fucking playbook. And so, it's like, I'm not mad that people are trying to come over and like, run the playbook on America. I'm just saying, we have to decide, are we gonna respond to this or not?

• 14:05Tom Bilyeu?

I would say it would be very wise to respond. As a person who likes American culture, I don't wanna see it go away. So you've gotta be thoughtful about it. I don't think people are being thoughtful. Europe is what it looks like when you're like, oh god, I feel too guilty to talk about this. You fuck, like, let everybody come in. And now, the people coming in are like, look at the screen. Uh, they're like, cool, we're here to run things. We're here to get things our way. People will fight, kill, and die for their values.

• 14:33Speaker 02

I think the difference, though, is that Christopher Columbus came here with the sole intention, or Espanola, he didn't come to the Native America. He uh, he came here with the intention of taking over, with the intention of colonizing.

• 14:44Tom Bilyeu?

  Yes.

• 14:45Speaker 02

And I think that- Good faith immigration. Yes, the border was open. Yes, 20 million Americans was there. Yes, there's a whole set of people who are saying that there was Chinese spies sneaking in. So taking all that off the table, let's just say, let's looking at the law of averages. 80% of the people that came in, they were coming in to work. They weren't coming in to say, yes, now America's going to be mine. Let me start my master plan.

• 15:07Tom Bilyeu?

Yep, all the thing. And it's going to be interesting whether I can get people to hear what I'm saying. Quick break, but don't go anywhere. There's more to come after this short break from our sponsors.

Luxury brands are not charging you more for better cashmere. You're paying for the storefront, the ad budget, the name on the tag, but Quince cuts all of that out. They work directly with ethical factories. They skip the middlemen and sell 100% Mongolian cashmere starting at just 60 bucks. 50 to 80% less than similar brands. Now, I gave one of these as a gift last year. It was a big hit and gifting is really the test of a brand. You might tolerate a lot of stuff in your own closet that you would never give to somebody else. I've got their joggers and a couple of their tees as well. • 17:41Tom Bilyeu?

And we're back. Let's pick up right where we left off. I am talking about one thing. It can be summed up in one word: values. Values. And people will kill, fight, and die for their values. A country is a reflection of the values of that nation. If you import people en masse that have different values, they will change the country because they are willing to kill, fight, and die. They're certainly willing to vote for their values. And so as they become a larger and larger percentage of the population, they will begin to sway the values of that nation. This is exactly what they do. It's what we all do. If you import enough Americans to Japan, they will make Japan more like America because it's their values.

• 18:26Tom Bilyeu?

That's what they grew up in. And so your only hope is that as they have kids, their American children become Japanese culturally. That's your only hope. But the problem is, if the Japanese aren't having kids and the Americans are having kids and they're raising them with American values, all of a sudden Japan finds itself not as influenced by Buddhism, let's say, anymore. And now, all of a sudden, it's way more influenced by Christianity. And now, all of a sudden, you get a totally different culture. And I'm saying every country, America, Palestine, Europe, anybody that runs the experiment of, do I just let people in regardless of what their value set is? Not check them at all, not slow that down, not make sure that people are assimilating,

• 19:11Tom Bilyeu?

and expect to still have the same value set in 30 years, 50 years, like that's foolish. You won't. And it's so easy to point to so many historical examples of people just got run over in their own country. All right, there's been a red light for a while.

• 19:28Speaker 03

Yep, we've got two super chats. First one from Techno Shaman.

• 19:31Tom Bilyeu?

  Yeah, super chat.

• 19:32Speaker 03

I believe they're trying to say Elumsbo. I looked it up and that was the best thing I could find.

• 19:36Tom Bilyeu?

  Elumsbo?

• 19:37Speaker 03

In Iran, now Damascus is in ruin, and someone died of plague in Arizona and persecution of Christians in their homeland. Looking biblical to me, look up fam.

• 19:47Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, well, there's certainly a lot going on. If there's a more specific thesis statement in that, I would take it. Some of those things feel a little disconnected, but.

• 20:02Speaker 03

I think they're saying it's happening all over.

• 20:03Tom Bilyeu?

But the plague thing, like what do they mean? Are they literally saying?

• 20:07Speaker 03

  At the times.

• 20:07Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, that's where that felt like it's going. So that I, as the non-religious man on the panel, I will just tell you, I don't buy into that, even in the slightest. But yeah, there's plenty of weird stuff going on. I think there's always weird stuff going on. If you look far enough around the world, you're always going to find some people are being murdered en masse. Some people are so behind the eight ball that people are dying of starvation or disease or whatever. Like it is, America got to live in a bubble for a very long time and the bubble has now been burst. That's a, man, as a kid of the 80s, I am just sad that none of y'all got to spend time in the 80s. It was fucking dope. It was lit, kids. It was lit.

• 20:49Speaker 03

Back in my day. Back in my day. Second one we've got is from Marusha Dark. Enjoyed your interview, but in my opinion, Destiny is a monster. The dad, the dad for kids video, Destiny is Cook, proves he admitted to sexually abused crimes. He also cheered the assassination of the butler, PA fireman.

• 21:06Tom Bilyeu?

He goes hard on that kind of stuff. I will say this, there's no doubt that Destiny has some wild takes, but. Every time I've ever interacted with him in real life, he is lovely. He is respectful. He's thoughtful. I enjoy my time with him. Uh, I get why people are rubbed the wrong way by his like way over the top takes. Totally understand that's for destiny to decide what he wants to do internally. Uh, if he wants to keep going down that path, hey, it's gonna turn a lot of people off. But I would be absolutely lying if I said that that guy was not kind and generous.

• 21:47Tom Bilyeu?

Uh, off camera. Um, and yeah, I do enjoy my time with him, even though we disagree on a whole host of things.

• 21:54Speaker 02

Um, okay. Mentally dope said Drew, spend some time with immigrants. It's different than when we were kids. The mindset has turned against our country rather than admiring it. Um, I am an immigrant and I have family that migrated over here on the Biden plan. I hung out with them two, three weeks ago at my brother's wedding. Um, so maybe I'm just in my bubble and maybe all my immigrant uh, family just comes here to work and get money and do the things that we need to do. So I don't see the other side of it and maybe I'm just blind to it. So I'll a hundred percent acknowledge sometimes I do have blind spots. Um, I think though, when I pointed out the colon, the colonization thing, I think that's the irony is because we have a history of the absolute worst case scenario. Sometimes when things start to happen, we default to that. So just like in Europe, they can have socialist policies that the people on the left champion that America should adopt.

• 22:38Speaker 02

But it doesn't make sense because our population and demographics are different. I think the same fear that Europe has, it doesn't necessarily translate to America. Because we have constitutionally things that protect us from these certain uh, insurrections. Um, and I think that if a lot of Muslims did come to the country, they would have to overrun the vast majority and it wouldn't just be, we need to have a hundred thousand people in this one area and we can do it. Um, you know, I, I don't think that that would be as bad because I can have all these other isolated communities of a bunch of people. So when that happens in Europe, when their total population is 10 million, yes, they get overrun. Cause that's like everybody going right to Manhattan and, and uh, taking shop there. But there are so many isolated communities all over the US with everybody here speaks this language. The signs aren't in English. Everybody's kind of in this bubble.

• 23:23Speaker 02

And the grand scheme of things, US is, is able to absorb that shot.

• 23:28Tom Bilyeu?

I'm making a slightly different point. So my point goes like this. Any group in any country that manages to become the dominant political and economic figure in the region will ultimately get a monopoly on violence and they will use that to remake the country in their image.

• 23:44Speaker 02

They will get monopoly on violence.

• 23:46Tom Bilyeu?

Correct. They'll, they'll run the government.

  Copy.

• 23:49Tom Bilyeu?

So Jews can go take over Palestine and there's something, I don't know how much of this is true. So forgive me very much the headline level here, but I have heard that they don't want people taking like 23andMe style DNA tests in Israel because it will show that basically the vast majority of Israelis are European. And so then it's just European colonizers rolled up and they have no claim to the land from an ethnic. Again, I don't know if that's true, but I'm just saying to me, it doesn't matter that it's true. There is a playbook and that playbook is get a bunch of people to go to whatever region they have decided they want to be in for natural resources, for historical religious ties, whatever reason.

• 24:32Tom Bilyeu?

You roll up to that place, you get economic and political power, you take over the monopoly on violence. It is now yours. And I'm just saying the, the math bears that out. So if right now people come to America and it's like, hey, this is no big deal. It's just a small population and a hundred thousand becomes a million, the million becomes 10 million, the 10 million becomes a hundred million. Now it's like they, they will win. Period. End of story. And you might say, well, by the time like just running the cycle of how many generations that would take, I'll be dead. I don't really care. Okay. Fair enough. Like that is the question that's going to be asked is when I look down the timeline, do I care that it, it's pretty inevitable that every country that we think

• 25:14Tom Bilyeu?

about right now on a long enough timeline just isn't going to be that country in a thousand years or whatever. It will be so different. And are we just like, yeah, just let it happen. Or are we saying, no, no, no, like let's build some borders around this. Let's say this is what we stand for. This is what we're going to fight for. And, or not. That, that's the game. So this is a values question. This is a reality of breeding rate question that says that word is so horrible, but that really is true. How fast are people having kids? And if Catholics outbreed everybody, your country is going to be Catholic. If Muslims outbreed everybody, your country is going to be Muslim. It's just math.

• 25:54Speaker 02

Um, Kale McCullough, yeah, but when you bring in this many immigrants at once, you can expect civil war when whites become a minority. Just shaming people for self-preservation instinct only makes them that was more likely.

• 26:06Tom Bilyeu?

  Yes, correct.

• 26:07Speaker 02

I get what you're saying. I think that's the, that's the hidden part of this argument is that I think whites are afraid because they're becoming a dwindling minority in America. And I think that's the ultimate hesitation. That's the whole Nick Fuentes uh, argument with Candace. It's just, I want to make sure my kids look like me. And if the demographics continue to go as they go, the population of, um, I don't want to call them pure white, but like the vanilla white people, like they will no longer, that population is going to be fewer and fewer. And there's gonna be a lot more mixed babies and all these other things. And that would shift the demographics. So self-pres- Kale, self-preservation. I think, I like, I understand that argument. I have no beef with that argument.

• 26:51Speaker 02

I just hate when we talk about immigration and our values and we say other things. And it's like, well, you're just saying you want to make sure that you can still make sure the US is 20% white or something like.

• 27:01Tom Bilyeu?

I am 1,000% convinced the following is true. While Nick Fuentes exists and represents a certain kind of person who is literally, uh, they are focused on a surface level thing. That is not the real issue. No one gives a fuck about whether somebody looks like them. What they care about is do you believe the things I believe? If you roll up, if you like, believe in God, you believe in Jesus, Jesus is the one true Lord, Jesus is gonna save you, and you roll up on a Chinese kid who's like, yo, Jesus is the one true God,

• 27:43Tom Bilyeu?

he's the only one that's gonna save you, you're gonna be like, oh, like, I- This guy's a real one. You're gonna feel connected, you're gonna be totally here for it. If you run into the whitest white guy, I don't know if you remember this, the guy that ended up joining ISIS. White as the day is long. That motherfucker was an ISIS soldier. No, I got nothing in common with that guy. I just could not give a fuck what the melanin level in his skin tone is. Uh, hard pass. This is why religion is so powerful. Religion transcends all of that. What matters is values, values. And people get confused about other shit. Now, when race also predicts a difference in values.

• 28:26Tom Bilyeu?

Now you've got like, oh my God, like now I can see it. This person looks different than me and I know they think different than me. Yeah, that makes it real fucking easy because somebody's just wearing that shit literally on their face. That I think differently than you. That is a mistake. That is like fucking grade school level thinking. That judging people on their race is full retard. I, it, it has so little predictive validity. But when you go. What does that person believe? That's when you get into, okay, now we can build a country together. This is why America worked. Remember, America became the shining beacon on the hill because we collected the best and the brightest,

• 29:08Tom Bilyeu?

the most hardcore motherfuckers who were willing to come here with no social safety net. Because they wanted a shot. These were all people that believed in freedom. They wanted to get out from under the tyranny of kings and queens. And they wanted to be a part of this crazy experiment. Okay, word. So we were never homogenous. We were never a single race. Uh, we were European largely, there's no doubt about that. But that isn't what bound us. What bound us was largely Christianity, a Puritan work ethic, a belief in freedom. Those were the things that ultimately brought us together. And when, if we could find a way to like, if America could be a religion,

• 29:51Tom Bilyeu?

then, okay, this becomes very easy. It's like, I get it. You believe in the same values that I believe in. We're going to fight for this and it doesn't matter what you look like on the surface. But man, when people get confused that this is about values, it deranges into just blatant racism.

• 30:05Speaker 03

  We have another super chat.

• 30:06Tom Bilyeu?

  Let's go.

• 30:07Speaker 03

Uh, from Neo Court, what are your thoughts on the next three years? AI growth, AGI, superintelligence, debt growing higher beyond 130% GDP, and an uninspired political leadership, both the Democrats and the Republicans? Neuromancer? And then there is a follow-up that I think is good for this.

• 30:24Tom Bilyeu?

People try to sequence like so many ideas into a single chat. It's hilarious.

• 30:29Speaker 03

It's their chance to be on the show. Um, but then Travis Hobbs came in and replied to that and said, should AI govern the masses?

• 30:36Tom Bilyeu?

Taking a short break, but there's more Impact Theory after. Stay tuned.

• 30:45Tom Bilyeu?

You're probably paying two salespeople to do one salesperson's job. That's where today's sponsor, Pipe Drive, comes in. An intelligent AI-powered sales CRM loved by growing sales teams. Pipe Drive just launched meeting intelligence built right into the CRM. Before every call, it pulls deal history and past conversations into one brief. During the call, it records and takes notes. After it, it drafts your CRM updates to review and approve. So there's less admin and more selling. Switch to a CRM built by salespeople for salespeople and join the over 100,000 companies already using Pipe Drive.

• 31:28Tom Bilyeu?

My link gets you an exclusive 30 days free instead of the usual 14-day trial. There's no credit card payment needed. Just head to pipedrive.com/impact to get started. Again, that's pipedrive.com/impact and you can be up and running in minutes.

• 31:52Tom Bilyeu?

All right, let's dive right back in.

• 31:54Speaker 03

Which I think is a good direction to go.

• 31:55Tom Bilyeu?

No, AI shouldn't govern the masses. That is a terrible fucking idea. Resist that impulse.

• 32:00Speaker 02

I did not expect that answer from you.

• 32:02Tom Bilyeu?

Bro, bro, bro. It is authoritarian rule, no matter how like kind and generous it is. And listen, I know that people are gonna fight for it because AI is gonna make better decisions. But terrible idea, terrible idea. Do not do that.

• 32:17Tom Bilyeu?

Let the AI advise us. Vote for people that you know will take advice from the AI if you really believe that the AI is yielding those kind of incredible results. Give us the ability to ignore the, remember, I'm a freedom guy. I'm, I am Captain America, Drew.

• 32:36Tom Bilyeu?

I'm gonna take that mantle. So.

• 32:38Speaker 02

You're Captain America, Jack is Satoshi. We're getting live updates on all the secret identities.

• 32:43Tom Bilyeu?

Finally, I'm just unmasking here. Okay, let's go back to the original person's.

• 32:50Speaker 03

Just what are your thoughts on the next three years, AI growth?

• 32:52Tom Bilyeu?

So, next three years, yeah, AI is gonna keep growing like crazy. You're not gonna go bankrupt in the next three years. I think America, the bond market cracks like in a devastating fashion within the next 10 years, barring some radical change. The next three years is gonna be me fighting socialism, tooth and fucking claw. I just cannot believe. You guys need to watch the tie 60. Drew and I got into it like good and proper yesterday, recording that thing. And so if I can't win Drew over away from socialism, I know that I'm in trouble. Trust me, watch the episode, watch the episode. You guys, you guys will be the judge. Watch the episode. That's gonna be the next three years. We have an immediate problem with that.

• 33:37Tom Bilyeu?

In a populist moment, people vote emotionally. They think about the stuff emotionally. They do not think about cause and effect. They think this sounds right, and so I want to do the thing that sounds right. Now Drew is offended. That's putting words in his mouth. He's offended? Perfect. Okay, so Drew's offended by that read on it. Again, you guys will watch it. You'll make up your own mind. But that is what I think the next three years is.

• 34:01Tom Bilyeu?

AI is gonna accelerate. Do we hit AGI? Maybe, man. I was having a conversation with Eric Weinstein.

• 34:09Tom Bilyeu?

He's making a compelling case that Yan Le Kuhn may just be wrong and that maybe we really can get to physics in the current iteration. It'll be wild. I'll report back. So, uh, period. I'm gonna stop there.

• 34:22Speaker 03

We got another super chat from Marusha Dark. Tom, hard disagree with you on brain drain. A release value, a release value gives smart, hardworking people less incentive to fix their home countries, creating a downward spiral. Export freedom instead so that they don't have to come here.

• 34:39Tom Bilyeu?

It doesn't work, bro. It doesn't work. Look at China. Look at China. What?

• 34:44Speaker 02

No, just export freedom. Like it's, uh, switch to like, we can't just send a bunch of freedom to a bunch of kids. But here you go, guys. Here's your freedom. See you later.

• 34:53Tom Bilyeu?

Oh God, my, one of my favorite memes is like, oil was just discovered in Uruguay. Looks like Uruguay needs some freedom. It's like, this is amazing. America is fucking terrible at that. We have a very bad history of exporting freedom. Uh, okay, let's run the playbook on China. We thought that by bringing China into the WTO, that we were going to introduce them to the ideas of freedom, that they would love it. Uh, that you would stop having this horrific authoritarian top-down government. And of course, it's not what happened. And look, mad respect to China. One, they've become our peer competitor. They used us against us. Uh, they took all of our intellectual property from, uh, Apple, convinced Apple to come and teach them how to be the greatest

• 35:36Tom Bilyeu?

manufacturers in the world. We did not roll up there and find highly skilled manufacturers. We trained them to be highly skilled manufacturers. Uh, we did not roll up and find people that understood VCs. We literally sent VCs over there to teach them how to do it. So, uh, that is reality and China found a whole new way of doing things. This is so brilliant. And they said, we're going to do what I call red light, green light capitalism. So, uh, it's go, go, go capitalism because it's the only thing that works. But if the entrepreneur gets uppity, we are literally going to kidnap them. I presume either threaten them with violence or actually be violent, uh, and re-educate them and then we'll release them back into the wild. We'll let everybody know what's up and you can build things and

• 36:20Tom Bilyeu?

you can make a lot of money, but you are going to do exactly what we say when we say it. Now, I personally don't want that. Not even a little bit. Uh, so yeah, that can fuck all the way off. So exporting freedom doesn't work, full stop, period.

• 36:34Speaker 02

Um, the chat is spitting today, too. There's like seven different arguments and you guys are like knocking it out. So shout out to you guys talking in the chat. Um, all right, let's talk about the socialism claims because I'm already not beating the racism claims, even though I read somebody else's comment. So I can't be a racist and a socialist in the same life. I gotta split those out. So I, I don't think we go full socialist. Shout out to Ricky Martinez. That's not my beef. I think a beef from our argument came from corporations somehow got to skirt all responsibility in this exchange. And a couple of decades ago, there was a social responsibility that the company you work for was like a family will take like, you're going to spend most of your day here. You spend eight hours of your day sleeping, eight hours of your day with your family, eight hours of the day with us. We're 130 of your life. We're, we're ingrained.

• 37:19Speaker 02

We have a responsibility to take, not take care of you, but we have a responsibility to look out for your best interest. And somehow that export went to corporations and then it slowly, slowly, slowly then became on the government. So where we used to have pensions and corporations take care of us, now we rely on social security for the government to take care of us. And my whole point is instead of being mad that the government is overburdened and they have all these entitlements, we wouldn't need entitlements, Medicaid, Medicare, social security, if corporate medical insurance was expanded or pensions and 401ks were maximized. So I'm saying the amount of taxes that both the employer and the employee is throwing into this black hole, we can cut out the middleman and at least have a more profitable exchange between the two of us.

• 38:03Speaker 02

Now, that's not saying every employee now needs to make a hundred dollars an hour. That's not saying that there needs to be a minimum wage. That's not saying that every job ought to be. But if we're talking about how we want to build the perfect world, yes, number one, the Fed should be abolished. But if we're talking about the, what the aughts and now if we have our pick and choose of how we want to establish this society, I feel like corporations should also have more of a responsibility to pour back into their employees, just like they pour back into their businesses.

• 38:30Tom Bilyeu?

Okay, the world has changed so dramatically that just doesn't work. So back in the sixties, if you made it on to the S and P 500, the likelihood that you would stay there for sixty, your average company once on stayed for like sixty two years. The number is now sixteen and it's sliding down fast. So you went, when you were doing the retirement funds and stuff inside your company, companies just lasted a lot longer. They stayed like big for a lot longer. So people could go, I'm going to go work for AT and T. I know AT and T is going to be here in thirty or forty years. As that began to change and companies were coming in and out of existence, workers started realizing, well, hold on a second. I don't feel like these guys are being loyal to me, which they're not, by the way. A company is loyal to surviving.

• 39:14Tom Bilyeu?

It is an organism that needs to stay alive. And if I have to cut employees to keep the company alive, I will cut employees to keep the company alive. Now employees also put me in the same situation. You could leave at any time. And so, fair enough, like we're in a detente. It is what it is. But like Enron did all their funny shit and stole people's retirement funds. I mean, I just, the carnage in that. So the way that I think that should work is what the government is doing now by every time somebody is born, they get whatever amount of money in the stock market. Brilliant. A 401K, it's the same idea. So as an employer, I'm putting money on your behalf into the government into a 401K so that. It goes into social security and like unemployment.

• 39:59Tom Bilyeu?

Depends, so I'm almost certain that we do a 401K contribution. We certainly did at one point. Somebody will have to ask Andrew, but what? We don't do? So with that kind of thing, you're looking at that as competitive advantage. So for instance, if you're like, I don't want to work at a company that doesn't do a 401K contribution, then that's a weakness that we have, right? And so you can decide that you want to go somewhere else. So all of that stuff is trade offs. Forcing a company to do that, you're putting a financial burden on a company and companies are extremely hard to build. And when the world is showing you that you're, the life cycle of a company is. Dropping, dropping, dropping, dropping, dropping, dropping, dropping. And I think that that's only going to drop further with AI.

• 40:44Tom Bilyeu?

Then it's like, bro, that one is putting you in a weak position. Two, it's putting the company in a terrible position because now there's even more overhead as you're trying to get the company off the ground. Now, I think that the government is a terrible capital allocator, so I wanted to stop trying to do so. So if I, because we obviously pay a ton in

• 41:07Tom Bilyeu?

taxes for all of our employees. If instead of that going into social security, which is a literal Ponzi scheme, if that were going into the

• 41:16Tom Bilyeu?

the stock market, that'd be way better. So that kind of thing where I'm making the contributions, make it go into something that's actually going to be good for the employee. Now you're in a much better position, but saying like, we want to go back in time. You don't want to go back in time, first of all, and even if you could go back in time, I don't think you could go back in time. So you're, the thing you're asking for, I understand why you want it and it sounds lovely. But the physics of the situation are such that companies pop in and out of existence. Employees now, their average tenure at a company is 18 months. People realize, I can make more money by jumping around. So people do jump around.

• 41:56Tom Bilyeu?

So it's like, it isn't like this is, and you seem to think that I have a higher esteem for corporations than I do. This isn't one way. Corporations are going to do everything they can to reduce costs. Employees are going to do everything they can to get paid as much as humanly possible. And so in that friction, you get a stable market. Once one of them gets out of balance, then you've got problems. But yeah, forcing companies to carry the retirement burden with the reality of how short-lived companies are now, I don't think makes sense. America is not consistent on sovereignty even a little bit. America is sliding towards totalitarianism. We really are in a bad place right now and I don't think people realize.

• 42:37Tom Bilyeu?

So the big thing, I've always said that what I want on my tombstone is you're having a biological experience. And that probably is the most important thing I'm ever going to remind people of. But the second most important is debt and money printing. And I try not to just repeat myself on a loop in the deep dives, but they're so often in the middle of a deep dive. I'm like, oh, this is really a debt and money printing problem. Uh, but I try to remind myself that you have to do different layers, levels of analysis in a deep dive to make the format work. But boy, oh, boy, when you really get down to just what is the rot? The rot is the fact that you lose your sovereignty because I, the government,

• 43:17Tom Bilyeu?

can take your um, private property, your money, in the form of inflation. It's, it's, it's crazy. I, that one feels hard to, to get people to wake up to. Because the idea is just sophisticated enough that, or let's not be fancy. It's just complicated enough that people are like, I don't get this.

• 43:40Speaker 02

Personally, my rub with it is while it seems more like a philosophical argument than a practical argument.

• 43:46Tom Bilyeu?

  And money printing and debt?

• 43:48Speaker 02

The solutions to money printing and debt, because this has gone on for so long. And it's something that every country in the world is doing. The possibility of it going away or reducing is practically zero. If you had to round it down to zero. So that's why I am less on let's keep beating this drum. Because that drum is not going to help.

• 44:10Tom Bilyeu?

The other option though is to be, so there are two paths before us. Path number one, if Drew is correct, that there's nothing you can do about the Fed. If Drew is correct, there are two paths before you. Path number one is you.

• 44:22Speaker 02

As, as a country or individual? Let's start there.

• 44:24Tom Bilyeu?

  Uh, as a country.

• 44:25Speaker 02

As a country. Got it. Okay.

• 44:26Tom Bilyeu?

Uh, option number one is do nothing. And then option number two is to be honest about how you reset the cycle. And so the thing that I harp on about is Ray Dalio's uh, idea of a beautiful deleveraging. Now, the reason that I keep coming back to Ray Dalio is it's physics. So it's like saying, uh, it's like quoting Einstein all the time. Einstein is just pointing out an actual law of physics. Ray is just pointing out an actual law of physics. And the law of physics in economies is you have four levers to pull. And if you don't pull them well, there's no way to get out from under the debt. But what you have to do, you have to get out from under the debt. If you don't get out from under the debt, none of this is going to change. People will get into their feels and they are in their feels for reasons that have to do with debt and money.

• 45:09Tom Bilyeu?

But they don't realize that. And so they just vote for more free things. Voting for more free things is exactly like drinking seawater because you're dying of thirst and you're lost at sea. And you just think, I'm surrounded by all this water. This has got to make things better. It has to. And then you drink it and it makes you die faster. That is give me more free things. And it is heartbreaking to feel like you're on the outside of that and you're watching people on the life raft. Beg the government to give them seawater. And it's like, wow. So you can walk people through like how the Krebs cycle runs and how getting that much sodium in your body. When you're already dying of thirst is going to cause like all these electrical problems inside your body. People just aren't going to believe you and it's too complicated.

• 45:54Tom Bilyeu?

And so you just start saying over and over and over, you can't drink seawater. You've got to get fresh water. And it's like, well, how do I get fresh water? And you say, you have to build something that will allow you to.

• 46:05Tom Bilyeu?

Evaporate the water away from the salt. Well, but I'm lost at sea, bro. How am I supposed to do that? I understand that, but it is the only way. This is physics. If you can't find a way to evaporate the water, you're going to have to, or fucking get a fish. It will have fresh water in its flesh. And so eating fish will help you a little bit. But that's the reality. And if you don't do it, you are going to die. There's no way around that. You will die. And people just keep arguing about the fucking seawater. And I'm just like, oh, my God, your only options are. Eat fish, which will have water trapped in its muscle tissue.

• 46:48Tom Bilyeu?

Find a way to distill water. That's it. And so everything else like we're arguing about something that is completely nonsensical.

• 46:56Speaker 02

Ricardo, what about Japan? What about Greece, Italy, the UK? They're still here and they fixed it. That is true. The latest default from a government standpoint I can think of is Greece. And I mean, Greece isn't what it used to be and they're selling homes for dirt cheap, but it's still here.

• 47:12Tom Bilyeu?

It's still here. The like, that's where we're. So, look, guys, I did a whole deep dive on M'Nani and Argentina. Watch it. It is exactly about this. Argentina didn't fall off the face of the earth, but in the early 1900s, Argentina was comparable to America. Immigrants were trying to get to Argentina more than they were trying to get to America because Argentina was the real land of opportunity. They were as rich or richer than Canada. And they were known as the Paris of South America and they fell off the face of the earth and they became an economic backwater for 100 years. So these aren't things that have like, oh, it's like a five or six year recession. 100 years. In that 100 years, they had something like seven or eight different coups.

• 47:56Tom Bilyeu?

I mean, it's just absolute madness. It is not a place that you want to be. And only after 100 years of suffering has Malay finally been able to come into power. And it looks like he's riding the ship. We'll see, but he's trying to abolish their version of the Fed, though he is trying to dollarize, which is probably the right answer, but the dollar is still tied to our Fed.

• 48:16Tom Bilyeu?

So you get away from it a little bit, but you are still stuck with a bad system, better than the one that you have. And again, is probably the right answer, but whoo. So that is.

• 48:29Tom Bilyeu?

My hope is that they will show that this is exactly how you reverse this trend. It's by going with the free market, not a completely unfettered free market. You do want to stop people from getting monopolies.

• 48:42Tom Bilyeu?

I know that I've said this so many times, but shout out to Drew for really pushing me to write these deep dives because it really forces me to confront a lot of things like, how is it possible that we had populism and wild inequality back in the late 1800s? And we have it now? And I'm always like, it's due to money printing and debt. And then you look back at the Gilded Age and it's like, but hold on, they didn't have money printing. And then, so you dive into it and you realize, oh, there are multiple ways to find ourselves in the situation that we're in. And if you confuse Gilded Age, which everybody's trying to do, they're trying to map the Gilded Age to what's going on right now, and that is going to confuse the shit out of them. And so even though it outputs something that visually is the same, emotionally is the same, the underlying cause is different.

• 49:27Tom Bilyeu?

And just like if you try to treat a disease because the symptoms seem like one thing, but are actually the cause of something else, you're in trouble. You've got to find the actual root cause of the issue. And the root cause of today's issue is dead money printing. Let's go.

• 49:43Speaker 02

Hold on one second on this. Okay, so if it looks like a duck, like quacks like a duck, smells like a duck, sometimes it's a duck, right? But in this example, you're saying it flies and it's dirty and it's walking around. But that's not necessarily it's a pigeon, it's just another type of bird. And I'm thinking that both in the Gilded Age and in today, while yes, there's money printing and the financialization of the capital markets and what the Fed has done to money. There were still corporations taking advantage of workers then, and there's still corporations taking advantage of workers now. And there, so there are certain parallels that aren't necessarily like, we're not getting gun to head, yes, but Amazon is counting how long you, how many seconds you were in the bathroom.

• 50:27Speaker 02

So there are certain like corporate labor practices that I see parallel from the Gilded Age till today. Or are you saying that those don't impact as much as the money printing it does of itself?

• 50:39Tom Bilyeu?

  Not, it's not even close.

• 50:41Speaker 02

  Not even close, got it.

• 50:42Tom Bilyeu?

So I'm, I am more than happy to just assume that there are abuses and problems and all that. My, I have no doubt. What I'm saying is the re, the thing you should be worried about right now, today is the hollowing out of the middle class. And the Gilded Age also hollowed out the middle class, but they did it through two totally different mechanisms. And given that they hollowed out the middle class through two totally different mechanisms, you can't solve it in the same way. So it's the same symptom, no middle class for you. And by the way, when the middle class gets hollowed out, what's happening is people are being pushed in both directions. Some people are being pushed up, some people are being pushed down.

• 51:24Tom Bilyeu?

So just like we're accelerating the rate at which people are becoming poor, we're also accelerating the rate at which people are getting rich. Now, the irony is, and I haven't looked closely enough at this, but we're actually making people richer faster than we're making people poorer. It's not by a lot, but by a little. I have a feeling that's just tied to the fact that only 40% of Americans don't own assets. So if you've got whatever roughly 60% of people that do own assets, then yeah, you're going to make people richer slightly faster than you're going to make them poorer. Because it really is as dead simple as if you own a diversified basket of assets, you're going to keep up with inflation. And if you don't, you won't. And so whatever that split is between Americans that have a substantive amount of their wealth

• 52:09Tom Bilyeu?

in assets, they're going to be pushing up out of the middle class into the upper class. And then everybody else is going to be pushing down out of the middle class into the lower class. And so if you had tried to run the same fix it playbook on the Gilded Age, it wouldn't have worked because that was about monopolies and owning all of the,

• 52:30Tom Bilyeu?

like literally every industry that was going to generate a substantive amount of money was owned by like this ridiculously small number of people. Because we just let them gobble and gobble and gobble things up and make these gigantic companies, not gigantic by value, gigantic by what they did. They were so vertically integrated. So yeah, it's just a different playbook right now. Right now, there is only one solve, and that is you have to get out from under the debt.

• 52:56Speaker 02

How do you abolish the Fed?

• 52:58Tom Bilyeu?

It would be having the political will. So you'd have to first deleverage. This is exactly what Malay's doing.

• 53:03Speaker 02

But like the Fed itself, like as an entity?

• 53:06Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah. So you can't just abolish it without deleveraging because if you do that, then you'll have civil war instantaneously. Because you would be, remember, if you cancel debt, you can't, somebody's owed that money. Somebody lent that money out. And if you cancel that debt, that person's wealth just disappears. And so that person isn't going to be like, okay, they're going to fight. And so that's how you get into these, what in essence become class struggles. So you would have to first deleverage. It's going to be painful across the board for everybody, though wealthy are going to get brutalized in all of it. But you try to do these things in increments so that you can, you're trying to avoid violence.

• 53:48Tom Bilyeu?

So you pull the four levers in a certain sequence and certain amounts over probably a decade, and you get out from under the debt in a way where people are mad, they're in pain, but they're not shooting people. Uh, then once you're back to reasonable debt levels and you've got growth going, because that's a big part of this, you gotta keep your GDP going. Then you go, okay, we don't now owe the thirty six trillion dollars to the Fed. And so we can shoot it in the face. And then you have to show that you're what you're gonna do with your hard money system, blah, blah, blah. But.

• 54:23Speaker 02

You think the bank is just gonna buy an army? Cause if the Fed owns a mass majority of that thirty seven trillion and we say, sorry, we're not paying you back. Like, is the Fed gonna?

• 54:34Tom Bilyeu?

  No.

• 54:34Speaker 02

Cause you said, you said, you said civil war instantly. So I'm like, who would, what would be the two sides?

• 54:38Tom Bilyeu?

So I'll give you an example. I own a ton of government debt. If you just cancel that all right now.

• 54:47Speaker 02

Tom is gonna be on that side.

• 54:48Tom Bilyeu?

  Tom's, uh, yeah.

• 54:49Speaker 02

  That's going to work.

• 54:49Tom Bilyeu?

  Second amendment, let's fucking go.

• 54:51Speaker 02

Rainbow, rainbow paint. Sorry, I stepped on a super chat.

• 54:53Speaker 03

No, you're good. That actually was.

• 54:55Tom Bilyeu?

No one's gonna sit with that.

• 54:56Speaker 03

That went into a really good answer for the first super chat from James Island Panther, which was, what would happen if we tell the Fed to F off? We ain't paying you and we abolish you too. You basically just answered that.

• 55:07Speaker 02

The rich people go to war.

• 55:08Tom Bilyeu?

The Fed, uh, will be the purchaser of last resort. And so you're sort of rounding something to the Fed, but the honest answer is that, uh, Americans, foreign governments are all the people that own the debt. If you just cancel that immediately, uh, you wipe out so, you wipe out thirty six trillion dollars worth of wealth. So a lot of that is gonna, I mean, imagine if, if thirty six trillion dollars disappeared like that, the economy collapses. So if you do that, everybody retrenches, anybody with money is like, oh, fuck this shit. Uh, I shudder to think how many people would leave America. America wouldn't be able to raise the money that it does need to grow. And so now all of a sudden, America has no creditworthiness whatsoever.

• 55:49Tom Bilyeu?

And if you've ever heard the phrase, we export our inflation, that would stop instantaneously. America would lose its standing on the global stage. We would have no, uh, ability to negotiate trade wars and trade deals. Like that would all be done. You have to be a strong economy. And remember fiat currency means it's just a confidence game. It's just people believe that America will pay it back. And when they believe America will pay it back, then they're willing to invest in America. The second they don't think that America will pay it back, you become Argentina. All the foreign investment pulls out. And because people are so afraid of looking at the world the way that it actually is, which is a giant competitive game at every conceivable level from militarily to economically to who gets the loans, to who gets the talent, right?

• 56:32Tom Bilyeu?

There's a finite number of people and any smart country is trying to snipe the smartest from any country. I don't care if you're Chinese, I don't care if you're from Ogadishu. Like if you've got a 180 IQ and you can build like Elon Musk, I want you in America right now. So it's all a big competition, but people act like this isn't and that it's fine. Oh, it doesn't matter what country it's in. We all thrive. That's bullshit. Tell that to Ukraine when fucking Russia rolled up with a bunch of tanks. This is not how it works. It is realpolitik. People will do, people are restrained by only two impulses. Culture matters. So if in your culture, we don't do that kind of thing, cool, that will actually restrain you.

• 57:16Tom Bilyeu?

The other is the guy whose country you're going to roll into is going to shoot you in the face. This is why Israel, like, say what you want, man. Israel understands. We rolled up into the area, people are not happy about it, and I will blow up anybody who's got something to say.

• 57:33Speaker 03

We've got another super chat and then I have a couple of other chats I want your response to. So first, the super chat from Marusha Dark.

• 57:40Speaker 02

Oh, Marusha Dark, what's the three? Thank you, Marusha.

• 57:43Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, Marusha Dark is a bar today. Let's go, Marusha.

• 57:45Speaker 02

  Thank you, bro.

• 57:46Speaker 03

And so for the last 20 years, 50 to 60% of the total federal budget has been entitlements, even more than defense. A four-year plan to hand it off to the states might be the only way to balance the budget and avoid both default and riots.

• 57:59Tom Bilyeu?

Hmm. It's interesting. Do I trust that that will work? Well, what you would do then is you would say, um, I'm going to stop giving all my money to my family. It's my brother and my two sisters that are terrible with money, so I'm going to let them go bankrupt. It's basically what you're saying. So unfair. Hey, we live in a federalist system. I get it. I get the impulse. Not bad. Pushing it to the states is probably better than having it at the federal level. Pushing it down even farther would be even better. Hey, why don't we push it all the way to the individual level and let people take care of themselves? That's really, I think, the smartest play. Let communities, religions, families, take care of each other. But America's not prepared for that.

• 58:43Tom Bilyeu?

The, the modern world is not prepared to let some people fail, like fail, fail. Like, uh oh, starving to death, fail. And so if we went, oh, I wish the Catholic Church would take care of the people starving in their neighborhood. Then it's like, oh, this works. But when it becomes the federal government needs to make sure that nobody starves to death. Now, all of a sudden, it's like people are taking advantage. Starts to become barnacles. It's just such an inefficient system. But it's what America wants. And I am prepared to, if I cannot convince the masses, I'm prepared to live by their decision. I'm prepared to die by their decisions. It is what it is. Doesn't mean that I won't fight for myself and the things that I believe in, but I think people have to be persuasive.

• 59:24Speaker 03

So a couple of other things I want your response to. First from Chue. Tom, I really dislike your use of the term physics. I don't think the scientific study of matter applies to these economic policies in the way you're trying to imply.

• 59:37Tom Bilyeu?

Okay, give me a better word. There, there is, uh, things work in a certain way. And you can't violate those laws. Not sure what word you want me to use. I get it. It's not literal. So if you have a better one, I'm here for it. But what I'm trying to get people to understand is you can ask for free things all you want, and it will break the system every time because economies work in a certain way. Why do economies work in a certain way? Do you want to know the basis of the economy? None of us will work for free. That's the problem. The second everybody is willing to work for free. There's no issue, but people don't work for free for a whole host of reasons.

• 1:00:19Tom Bilyeu?

But they don't. So if you will give me a word for the fact that things work a certain way, and it just is what it is, and there's no way around it, there's no escape. I'll use it, but physics gets at that even though it is metaphorical.

• 1:00:35Speaker 03

And lastly, have you seen Eric Weinstein on Diary of a CEO recently?

• 1:00:40Tom Bilyeu?

And the science of money, Marusha, does not get us there because science is a process of invalidation, of running a bunch of experiments. That's not what I'm talking about. That is not the thing that I'm trying to convey. What I'm trying to convey is you will run up against a hard wall of the laws of economics, the natural laws of economics.

• 1:00:59Speaker 03

Sorry, go ahead. Have you seen Eric Weinstein on Diary of a CEO lately?

• 1:01:03Tom Bilyeu?

  Not yet, no.

• 1:01:04Speaker 03

Gotcha. Might be something to look at. Apparently, he is saying we're in the end of days and a couple of people have been asking.

• 1:01:10Tom Bilyeu?

There's no way. Eric does not say we're in the end of days. He might say we're in the end of empire, America as we know it is ending. End of days is a biblical term. There is no universe in which Eric is saying that God is going to bring the rapture.

• 1:01:26Speaker 02

  He's atheist?

• 1:01:27Tom Bilyeu?

  But.

• 1:01:29Speaker 02

  He's Jewish.

• 1:01:30Tom Bilyeu?

  He is ethnically Jewish.

• 1:01:35Tom Bilyeu?

I would not want to speak on Eric's behalf about what he believes. I honestly, I'm not sure.

• 1:01:40Speaker 03

  Cool.

• 1:01:42Tom Bilyeu?

  Word?

• 1:01:43Speaker 02

Word. Okay, so let's take it back for a second. We abolished the Fed. We got rid of it from a country level. You showed me the one, two, threes and fours of it all. Let's take it back to the individual level because we're always about the individual.

• 1:01:54Speaker 02

From their perspective, the Fed seems like a big boogie monster in the corner that is just secretly playing all these games that they'll have to take a hero's journey to conquer. What responsibility and what can they do that can help them? Navigate this moment. Since the Fed being abolished might not be something that they can accomplish from the dinner table with two screaming kids.

• 1:02:20Tom Bilyeu?

Okay, so I've started putting a phrase at the end of all my deep dives because it was the only way I could emotionally avoid being blackpilled. And the phrase is, I don't know that we can save everybody, but we can save each other. Focus on yourself, focus on your family, focus on your friends and let change ripple out from there. It's the only solution I see because I I am actually making changes to my investing for sure. As I think about all of these different topics, as I see the cause and effect of everything. I have long had the impulse for better or worse, that when I feel like I've discovered something that's very consequential, that I really want to help people with it.

• 1:03:01Tom Bilyeu?

The sort of most fascinating one is I bought everyone in my family a full Bitcoin. And I said, don't sell it. Now, guess what? The vast majority of them sold it. And shout out to my sister.

• 1:03:17Speaker 02

  Now they're kicking themselves.

• 1:03:18Tom Bilyeu?

Of course. Shout out to my sister. She didn't sell. And my sister's looking at her account being like, yo, this is wild. So I love that for her. Now,

• 1:03:33Tom Bilyeu?

you just can't get everybody to make smart decisions, much to my dismay. People are going to do what they're going to do. You really can't save everybody. And so just trying to get people to understand there's cause and effect here. Here's how it will play out in your individual life. And when you get at the nation level, the nation is just a collection of a bunch of individual people. So if you can influence enough individual people, it really will echo all the way through the country. I just don't know that you're going to be able to help everybody. And listen, the Bitcoin community has been saying this for years and I've always found it really grotesque. That they're like Bitcoin is a life raft and I'm just mortified by how many people are going to drown that like that's such cold comfort. But again, I found myself just backed into a corner where I'm like, I either just accept

• 1:04:19Tom Bilyeu?

the black pill of it all and it's like. I guess we're just all gonna go down with the ship. These cycles repeat. So be it. Uh, and being like, that just doesn't sit well with my personality. I'm the mindset guy. I'm like, the, hold on a second. Uh, I can't stop myself from thinking the first negative thought, but I can certainly stop myself from thinking the second. And you're always in control. There's always something that you can do. So I'm doing it and I'm trying to proselytize to get as many people as humanly possible to do things that make sense. And the things that make sense right now, you have to deal with inflation. You have to deal with debt. Just look at debt, money printing. Uh, what are the things on an individual level that you can do in your life right now,

• 1:05:02Tom Bilyeu?

today, because they are plenty and do those things. And so that's gonna be this community, everybody. And boy, do I get, I hope that we are gonna talk about a lot of things other than just uh, economics, though, hey, I share the obsession. Uh, but there's a lot of cool things in the world. A lot of wild things in the world. You want to talk about? I'm reacting. Um, is Epstein my bag? I mean, it's like you. I, uh, I grow weary of the fact that this is still like a big thing, but it is a big thing. And this is like a wild mishandling uh, of the situation by the Trump administration. And now like watching them like try to change their tune in real time.

• 1:05:48Tom Bilyeu?

This is so icky. And if it works, I mean, shout out to the, the elites, man. They can get people to believe anything. And I think it was actually Destiny that said, forgive me if this wasn't him, but if something bad happens to you, just stream through it. And you just, you address it, but then you go, cool. I'm done talking about this now and we're just gonna move on. And you'll lose some people in your community, but you'll just get going. If you retreat and then you come back, then people are still gonna wanna deal with that thing. So, uh, Trump is just streaming through it.

• 1:06:26Speaker 02

All right, so jumping into the Epstein files, new data has shown that metadata reveals that 2 minutes and 53 seconds were cut from the DOJ and FBI's full quote unquote "raw" surveillance videos. On top of that, Ghislaine Maxwell has, through an anonymous source to the Daily Mail, has said despite all the speculation, Ghislaine was never offered any sort of plea agreement. She would be more than willing to testify before Congress and share her side of the story. No government agency has ever approached her to discuss what she knows. She remains the only person jailed over Epstein's crimes and will welcome a chance to speak directly to the American public.

• 1:07:02Speaker 02

I feel like this is listening to a hungry dog where like, of course, the person who's in jail for the rest of their life would be like, "I have all the information you need, just talk to me."

• 1:07:10Tom Bilyeu?

But don't you think, I mean, she would have been there, man? Like, she knows, surely?

• 1:07:17Speaker 02

  That's a cat on, that's a carrot on.

• 1:07:18Tom Bilyeu?

I get it, that's why she wants to talk, for sure. And if she's smart, she will play it to like, "I'll tell you, but you're gonna let me out." But, I mean, is there anybody you think has more information?

• 1:07:30Speaker 02

Yeah, this story is becoming more, it's becoming a bigger and bigger deal. I have some friends internally that were just like, "Yeah, I don't think the Epstein files were ever a thing." This was a conspiracy from the beginning and now.

• 1:07:40Tom Bilyeu?

Oh, was it a Biden conspiracy? If so, like, that is like a calibrating question, like, nope.

• 1:07:45Speaker 02

Yeah, the mental gymnastics that's surrounding this has been crazy. Kevin Spacey is now calling for that release of the Epstein files, and when that happens, that's when I feel like we lost the plot, but what's your take on it? How do you view it?

• 1:07:56Tom Bilyeu?

Okay, so, I'm gonna talk like a sci-fi writer because obviously I don't have any information that other people don't have publicly, but the mental map that I have of the world is such that there are, there is a contingent of people that are sociopaths, and they just don't care who they hurt at all. Ironically, if you think about, like, the time of the Vikings, it would be useful to have people that just, they have dead shark eyes and they don't care and they will kill with impunity, and it's like, you want those people on your team. And I will remind everybody in the wolf kingdom, the alpha is not necessarily the biggest and strongest and most willing to fight, it's the decision maker. It's the one that actually has leadership abilities. The beta is often the biggest. And the strongest, they're the enforcer. So if you've got the beta who's like, okay, look, I'm not gonna be the decision maker.

• 1:08:41Tom Bilyeu?

Would you just please let me go kill something? It's like as the alpha, you're like, yeah, word. I want you to go kill like those people are a threat to us. Go kill the shit out of them. Those people are a threat. Go kill them. And so I get how from an evolutionary standpoint, we end up there, but you get into a moment like this. And the people that are narcissistic, sociopathic enough to just climb, climb, climb, climb, climb, step in people's necks, whatever. To get to the top of the game of politics or whatever field they're in, these ultra powerful people. They somehow seem to recognize each other and they're like, oh, I like doing this evil thing. You like doing this evil thing. Let's do this evil thing. And we have a détente because I know that you did bad things. You know that I did bad things. And this is like a whole mafia tactic. Where you have dirt on the person. So you know that they're going to be loyal.

• 1:09:24Tom Bilyeu?

And because that all matches like the physics of the human experience, it does not match morality, but it matches the physics of the human experience. It's like, okay, uh, that seems plausible. If there was something on Trump that the Democrats could have used, they would have unless they know he's got something on them. So this just feels like if this was a one way street, it would have already been used. That means it has to be a two way street. If it's really true that like judges and things are in on this as well, then it's like, it's just possible. That whoever Epstein was the front man for, that they're like, we need to get something on everybody. And enough people learn in business, learn in government that, okay, this is how the world works.

• 1:10:09Tom Bilyeu?

There are certain people in this, what we call the elite class that are real power brokers. They can really get things done. So the person that can get something entrance at a port of authority, like that's a really important person. Soros learned that, oh, local DAs, like that's the play. There's not, you don't spend a lot of money, but they have huge influence at the local level. Like people begin to map that stuff out. So if you're one of those people and you map these things out and you understand who the power brokers are. And you understand some percentage of them are also sexual deviants, then you go, hey, cool. Uh, I'm gonna flash the bat symbol in the sky and I'm gonna see who responds. And it's like that line in the Nelly song. I forget, I I've actually never been able to figure out what he's saying. It sounds like he says, I've got a phone in the basement. Huh? Just kidding, unless you're gonna do it.

• 1:10:53Speaker 02

And it's I got a pole in the basement.

• 1:10:54Tom Bilyeu?

I got a pole? What does that mean? Pole!

• 1:10:57Speaker 02

  Stripper pole.

• 1:10:57Tom Bilyeu?

I got a pole in the basement. Oh, my God, you just changed my whole life. Okay, so, uh, God, I've listened to that so many times. What is he saying? Okay, so, things like that, right? Epstein floats, I got a pole in the basement, just kidding, unless you're gonna do it. And enough people go, oh, I'm just kidding too, right? But I will come out and check out that island. And then it's like, oh, oh, my God, that girl that's serving the drinks, she's really cute. And and then it's like, there's cameras in the bedroom, and now we got 10,000 hours of footage. And it's like, they let that animalistic side of them, like, put them in that compromising situation.

• 1:11:40Tom Bilyeu?

And I'm sure it's like, listen, you're looking around, you see there's Democrats and Republicans. You see there's people from France, from Norway, from China, like, from all over, bro.

• 1:11:49Speaker 02

  Celebrities.

• 1:11:50Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, like, so you just start thinking, okay.

• 1:11:55Speaker 02

They shake your phone at the door, they do all, you know?

• 1:11:57Tom Bilyeu?

Yeah, so, again, I don't know any of this, this is pure conjecture. But that feels like if I tried to map why no one, no one seems to want this to come out. Once they're like in it, the the flip of Bongino and Cash Patel, to me, was like, Putin and his old idea of men in black suits roll up, and they're like, nah.

• 1:12:20Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:12:21Tom Bilyeu?

And I don't even know what they have to say, but it's, we're not gonna be able to get this thing done. We're not gonna be able to help these people, like, whatever their pet issue, they're gonna show them how it's all gonna fall apart, or how America will be brought to its knees, or whatever, like, the corruption is so deep that all of the West will be, I, I, I don't know.

• 1:12:37Speaker 02

Um, shout out to Kit Moon on Twitch, Rich, subscribe for eight months.

• 1:12:40Tom Bilyeu?

  Oh, gee.

• 1:12:40Speaker 02

  Shout out to all

• 1:12:41Tom Bilyeu?

  Kit Moon!

• 1:12:42Speaker 02

The Twitch homies, we appreciate y'all. Eric DeWalt said, Tom, Epstein is wrapped up, this is a dead end, it's a JFK of our age, never clear it up.

• 1:12:51Tom Bilyeu?

And I could get that for the reasons that we just laid out. But if you want to know why people are obsessed, they're obsessed for that reason. The, that it can be so, this is the Shaggy song, wasn't me. But we have 10,000 hours, wasn't me.

• 1:13:06Tom Bilyeu?

It really, it, it really might work, Drew. It really might work. That is the wild thing.

• 1:13:13Speaker 03

  We've got another super chat.

• 1:13:14Tom Bilyeu?

  Let's go.

• 1:13:15Speaker 03

  Uh, from Nemo.

• 1:13:16Tom Bilyeu?

  Yeah.

• 1:13:16Speaker 03

The list is really a collection of billionaires who were extorted.

• 1:13:20Tom Bilyeu?

Sorry, say it again. I was talking about his name.

• 1:13:22Speaker 03

The list is really a collection of billionaires who were extorted. This would make them victims of sextortion, not criminals. It is the DOJ policy to not release private, non-criminal behavior of private citizens.

• 1:13:33Tom Bilyeu?

Okay, okay. That assumes all the girls were of age? That assumes that all the girls were of age? Uh, uh, but if that were true.

• 1:13:41Speaker 02

That wouldn't be their fault technically if, to your point of this is a server who's serving me drinks and stuff like that. Now, yes, of course, nine-year-olds, whatever like that. Like, I'm not going that way. I'm saying if it was a 15, 16-year-old or something like that, I'm drunk, I'm high, it's 3 o'clock in the morning, and then you have this server who was just feeding me fish and chips all day. Now she wants to spend the night. It's like, ah!

• 1:14:00Tom Bilyeu?

  No, hard pass. That's illegal.

• 1:14:02Speaker 02

Um, yeah, I'm not saying that that's what's happening.

• 1:14:04Tom Bilyeu?

If these girls were 18, and it's just a bad look.

• 1:14:08Speaker 02

  Not covering it.

• 1:14:08Tom Bilyeu?

But it's all illegal, I'd have a very hard time swallowing that, given I think that Jeffs- Jeffrey Epstein was convicted of child trafficking, uh, child pornography. I mean, right? Am I making that up? So I'm pretty sure, at least we know that one guy for sure was doing things that were illegal. So you have a hard time buying that.

• 1:14:29Speaker 02

Yeah, sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors.

• 1:14:32Tom Bilyeu?

So minors being the problem here. Uh, if this was all legal and, uh, nobody did anything illegal and they're just trying to protect people, that feels pretty easy to say, hey, listen, these guys didn't do anything wrong, but it is very compromising. It's not a legal matter at this time. Uh, if their wives would like to, uh, sue them, whatever, then so be it. Uh, they've made moral indiscretions, but there's nothing illegal, then say that. But they're not saying that. They are not saying that at all. Uh, so they're trying to sweep it under the rug. Therein lies the problem.

• 1:15:09Speaker 03

What would happen if Alan Dershowitz took the, took one for the team? And just outed it, but then, uh, he's under confidentiality and so?

• 1:15:18Tom Bilyeu?

Nah, you can't ask somebody to do that. He's literally saying, like, I will talk about this. You just have to remove the injunctions. Like, if you're not willing to remove the injunctions, that's a you problem. Especially because Epstein's dead. It's not like he's still trafficking these girls. Uh, if there, if other guys were trafficking, yeah, that would be pretty gnarly. Would he be a hero if he did it? Yes, but am I going to ask somebody to go to prison for that? No. You've got a corrupt system. Address the system.

• 1:15:47Speaker 02

Cool. Yeah. And Pam Bondi did say, everybody, hey, I have 10,000 hours or something. So I don't know what that 10,000 hours of, but she got it. Um, and then just for clarification, um, Marjorie Taylor Greene wanted to clear up that no, the Republicans didn't vote no on the bill. It was a different vote that they tried to tack on. She explains to on Benny Johnson.

• 1:16:09Speaker 04

I gotta correct something real quick.

• 1:16:11Tom Bilyeu?

  Please.

• 1:16:11Speaker 04

So it's being reported, um, that, that House Republicans unanimously voted to, um, block the release of the Epstein files. And I want to straighten out the record right now. Um, that is not true. If I could vote, okay. If I could vote to release the Epstein files, guys, you would have my vote. I would vote yes. Um, here's what just happened. It was a procedural vote and we have these all the time. It's called a PQ. It's voting on the previous question. And if the, if the Democrats had won the previous question, which I know sounds insane. It's one of these crazy rules in the House that are hard to understand. That means they would control the House floor. And that means they could bring up anything.

• 1:16:54Speaker 04

They could, they could bring up, uh, impeachment articles against President Trump. They could bring up a whole package of insane Democrat agenda items and force votes on the House floor on these things.

• 1:17:05Tom Bilyeu?

  Tom, he said she's lying.

• 1:17:06Speaker 04

  That's what we voted against.

• 1:17:07Tom Bilyeu?

I don't, uh, I don't know enough about this, but this feels like it's a findable answer. But it would be.

• 1:17:16Tom Bilyeu?

The thing that I can't reconcile is if there was really just a, a one-sided gotcha, the Biden administration would have released us a thousand percent. There's no universe in which they wouldn't. So they were trying to put Trump in jail forever. So if it was one-sided, they would have done it. It, I think. You have to read in that that either despite Epstein being a horrible person, there is no evidence and that it is just a whole bunch of home movies that Jeffrey Epstein made of himself with a bunch of underage girls. Option one, or that there's people on both sides of the aisle that are implicated that people don't want to air out their dirty laundry. That, and I mean, look, maybe I'm just being cynical, but I can certainly buy that. If you're talking about donors are caught up on the list, politicians are caught up

• 1:18:01Tom Bilyeu?

on the list. There's just no incentive to release it.

• 1:18:06Speaker 02

Ro Khanna and Thomas Massey have co-authored a bill called the Epstein Transparency Act, and that's something that they're trying to get passed that would require the Attorney General to release the files within 30 days.

• 1:18:16Tom Bilyeu?

Let's go. But I don't understand, like, what is with all the, like, giving them more and more and more and more time to doctor it? That was my thing with the video, man, is I was so, right from the time that they're like, we're gonna, we just need to tweak, like, the visuals a little bit so it's really easy to see. And I was like, hold on. That, like, first of all, if that actually was what you're doing, you could do that in an hour. You certainly don't need weeks and weeks and weeks. Like, something is going on. So, and then when they released the footage of a door, I was like, that took you weeks and weeks and weeks to release? Like, come on.

• 1:18:51Speaker 02

Color correction is very hard, Tom.

• 1:18:52Tom Bilyeu?

Uh huh. And then the fact that it's not even the door to his cell, it's like, Jesus. And then, of course, that there, it's missing footage. That is the most insane thing ever. I don't know how, whether it was the FBI or the DOJ, I don't know how they come back from that. You released edited footage. You said over and over and over, we're gonna release unedited footage so that people can see, and you didn't? Wow. Okay.

• 1:19:21Speaker 03

  We got a super chat?

• 1:19:23Tom Bilyeu?

  Let's go.

• 1:19:23Speaker 03

From DK the Sage, if I can speak. Why do so many people think taxing will somehow equate to equitable redistribution? All it would seem to do is accelerate already existing cronyism in the system. Cronyism seems to be why so many people are anti-corporate.

• 1:19:43Tom Bilyeu?

So that is not something I would have expected you to agree with, Drew. Why? Give me your thoughts.

• 1:19:49Speaker 02

I'm the guy who got radicalized because if you spend a million dollars a day of how much we spend in taxes, it'll take us 13 years to spend it.

• 1:19:55Tom Bilyeu?

  Got it.

• 1:19:56Speaker 02

So, yes, we are wildly misallocating our taxing resources.

• 1:19:59Tom Bilyeu?

  Ain't that the truth?

• 1:20:00Speaker 02

You keep trying to paint me into a socialist. Your heuristics are gonna be broken, Tom.

• 1:20:04Tom Bilyeu?

  I like it.

• 1:20:05Speaker 02

I am exception. I am not the rule.

• 1:20:06Tom Bilyeu?

I love to update my thinking. Okay, so, yes, so many people think that taxing is gonna work because this is a populist moment. Populism is another way of saying that people are thinking emotionally. They're not mapping cause and effect. They're mad as hell and they're not gonna take it anymore. Gary Economics is the defining character of that movement. Mumdani, same thing. They're coming at it from different angles. They talk about the economy like they understand it, but in reality, they are not mapping cause and effect. They're just saying, "Something has to be done, Tom. Something. We have to change something. If we don't change something, then this thing's gonna keep happening." And this is why every time somebody pushes Gary's Economics on like, "Okay, but if you do that, this is gonna happen",

• 1:20:48Tom Bilyeu?

he'll literally switch immediately over into the emotional appeal. "Fine, you do what you wanna do. I guess everything's just fine, isn't it? Everything's fine. Well, I'm gonna keep betting this way, and I know that it's gonna keep happening." And it's like, uh, that's not an argument? So, he shuts down because he doesn't wanna confront... I'm gonna guess he shuts down because his emotions make it feel like the dots connect, even though they don't actually connect. And so, he's gotta be willing to go in and actually look at this, and if you do that, you're gonna end up at Ray Dalio's door. Like, there's just no way around it, again, because this is the physics of money. And so, you're gonna find yourself there going, "Hmm. If we overyank the wealth redistribution lever,

• 1:21:31Tom Bilyeu?

then people flee and our tax revenue goes down and it exacerbates the problem." Okay, we can't do that, but that's what Gary Economics is screaming for. If we overpull the taxation lever, first of all, the government spends it terribly, and people will stop building. It just is what it is. If people aren't able to collect the rewards for their efforts, they're not gonna do all that stressful stuff. If you don't believe me, look at the number of billion-dollar companies that we have compared to anywhere else in the world.

• 1:21:59Tom Bilyeu?

So... If you kill innovation, you have a problem. If you brain drain because you tax wealth, you have a problem. And if you wanna force these people to stay in your country so that you can take their wealth, you've now become the authoritarian regime that I hope you don't want to become. So it's like you have to acknowledge there are four levers that you're gonna pull. You're gonna have to pull them all in the world's most careful way. You have to acknowledge that there are makers in society that are the people that create the innovation, create the jobs, then there's all these incredible people that go work with those people. And that's who we tax. We tax entrepreneurs and we tax employees. Okay? Uh, and then obviously you've got capital gains for people buying financial assets. But anyway, you get the idea.

• 1:22:44Tom Bilyeu?

So the financial assets have to be created by the entrepreneurs. Uh, so that is the game. And when you're not honest about how the four levers go, you're never gonna get to a real solution. But when you're in your feels, feels like you're right.

• 1:22:59Speaker 02

Uh, okay, I think I need to say the quiet part out loud.

• 1:23:02Tom Bilyeu?

  Always, always.

• 1:23:03Speaker 02

Jaren, by the way, shout out to you. Um, I know we agreed on the chat a couple of times.

• 1:23:07Tom Bilyeu?

Is his name Jaren, by the way?

• 1:23:08Speaker 02

  Jaren, by the way. Yeah.

• 1:23:11Speaker 02

There are already safety nets for people who are unhoused and people who need food and people who need like Medicare. Like there's a, uh, I forgot what the Hippocratic oath, like you have to, you have to see that, like a doctor has to see you. Any emergency room, anywhere in America, if you're bleeding out and you walk into, they have to treat you. So there are certain things that are already there where other countries don't exist. If you are in Haiti and you're bleeding out, you're just on the side of the road. Like there's nobody that's gonna save you, no ambulance is gonna pick you up, none of those things. So if, if you're really at the bottom ring of society that's really struggling and hurting, there are things that can help you just to keep you fed and a clean place to lay your head. Okay, now that we have that, I think that's different than the strain on the system.

• 1:23:55Speaker 02

That's different than the immigrants who are pulling like so those basic safety nets. I think we all agree on necessary for society that the bottom 1% of people should at least not just be dying en masse on the streets. Now, drug problems, alcohol problems, that's another, that's another situation. If you are sober, able bodied and have a coherent mind, you can get resources that can help you get somewhat higher than the poverty line. Comma, however, now for the middle class and the next couple of tiers of society. We have to re really take a hard look at where the incentives are. Um, for example, most corporations, they have a charity give back program and the max on that charity give back program is 10%. I wonder why it's 10% because they can write off 10% of their profits and their revenue on as a tax,

• 1:24:41Speaker 02

as a tax write off. So although that it's, you know, icky that they're only doing 10% to get the tax write off, it at least allows them to do charitable contributions all over the world. And that's a way to do it. So if we can somehow finesse these incentives so that way, instead of people are incentivized to hoard assets, but maybe they're incentivized to re, um, not redistribute, uh, reinvest into people, reinvest into organizations, reinvest into institutions. I think that will then lessen the strain on the government because right now people aren't being met by anything else. So then they are relying on the government. So instead of the 1% who are really struggling, saying, hey, government, I need help. It's the people who are working three jobs that are also saying, hey, I still need help.

• 1:25:26Speaker 02

And that's the part that I think we need to fit, take a good look at the incentives and see how we can like parse those more effectively. There's a tax advantage for stock buybacks. If that tax advantage was removed, then maybe they'll reinvest, they'll buy a builder bill. You need to hire more people. And if you hire more people, that might alleviate the stress that the employees have like, and they're, they will get benefits in other ways. So I'm not saying we need to increase the money of the taxes in order to just give it to this black hole that is the government. Cause again, the government misallocates resources. You will never hear me argue that point. But we just have to really look at what are the incentives in America? And right now, the incentives in America is for you to get it. And once you get it, make sure you keep it. And I agree for the people that are able to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and make it.

• 1:26:09Speaker 02

And shout out to the people that do make it past that threshold. But there are a lot of people that just can't keep up. There are a lot of people that are struggling. And that's what I'm saying. Is there any way we can kind of re-look at incentives and see how we can boister that middle-class system?

• 1:26:22Tom Bilyeu?

Well, so you had to say middle-class. You're now conflating different things. So the middle-class is a debt and money-printing problem. Full stop, period, end of story. Anytime you talk about anything else. It's like, let's say that I cheated on Lisa all the time, non-stop. We go see a therapist and the therapist is like, you really need to talk to Lisa in a sweeter voice. And she doesn't address that I'm fucking some chick on the kitchen counter in front of Lisa. It's like, that's probably the bigger problem. So why don't we address the infidelity first? And then we can talk about my tone. So this is, if you want to address the middle-class, you have to stop debt and money-printing.

• 1:27:03Tom Bilyeu?

Okay, going back to the safety nets. The safety nets are complex. Everything's a trade-off. So if you, my dogs act crazy. They will lean over in ways where they're clearly gonna fall off the couch or whatever. But I am so paranoid and always catch them that my dogs almost don't understand gravity. Because I just make sure that they're never in danger. And that's what happens is you build a social safety net. Some people just go, well, they don't even realize they're being taken care of. They don't even realize that like taxpayer dollars have to be made. There has to be innovation. Companies have to like grow and all of that stuff for there to be tax dollars for them to even take advantage of.

• 1:27:47Tom Bilyeu?

They, we literally get as a society to a point where people actually think, they don't even think money is hard to come by as growing on a tree. Because we literally just print it out of thin air. Like imagine, you used to say, oh, money doesn't grow on a tree as a way to say like, you can't just grow money. Like, that would be crazy. Now, it's easier than growing it. You just make it come into existence instantaneously. And so that makes people feel some kind of way. Now, I understand from, I don't want to look out and see people. Well, I don't want to look out and see people starving to death or whatever. But the reality is right now, despite all the money that we throw at it, I see a whole bunch of homeless people doing the fentanyl lean. So it's like, eh, we're, we clearly aren't getting where we want to go.

• 1:28:30Tom Bilyeu?

You're right to be looking at incentives, but will we ever find the thing that we are emotionally willing to do to instill the proper discipline in people? Cause I think a big part of this is you really do have to say, um, if you are able bodied, you need to be working, full stop. Like there's, there's no getting benefits if you are able bodied and you are not working. But we're not ready to do that as a country. And so

• 1:28:57Speaker 02

The big beautiful bill just passed that.

• 1:28:59Tom Bilyeu?

Dude, the big beautiful bill is a mess.

• 1:29:03Tom Bilyeu?

So that, that's where I get stuck. I think that culturally we have a problem because it sounds terrible. People want to do what sounds lovely, but what sounds lovely has trade offs. And those trade offs have proven to be, um, some of them have proven to be very problematic.

• 1:29:23Speaker 03

So really quick, Ezekiel pointed out that Trump just posted on Truth Social about, um, the Epstein files being a democratic hoax. I wouldn't pull that link.

• 1:29:33Tom Bilyeu?

  Yeah, Jesus.

• 1:29:33Speaker 03

If you want to go back to

• 1:29:34Tom Bilyeu?

  He is making this worse.

• 1:29:36Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:29:36Tom Bilyeu?

He is making this worse. Every time he says something like this, I'm like, page one, Trump was at Epstein Island, these dates to these dates. Here is the footage. Like, that's all I hear when he talks about this.

• 1:29:50Tom Bilyeu?

Again, I don't know that that's true, but woof.

• 1:29:53Speaker 03

Drew, it's in the, the Tom Billy Show chat if you want the direct link.

• 1:29:57Speaker 02

Um, you are the man. Thank you, sir. I can't see it. It's over there. Um, yeah, I'm over the Epstein bill. I feel like it's not happening. It's like that the guy said in the chat, this is our version of JFK files. When we finally do release it, it's going to be dry cleaning receipts. It's going to be memos of

• 1:30:14Tom Bilyeu?

Because the rest will have been deleted? I mean, listen, yeah.

• 1:30:20Speaker 02

  It's, it's

• 1:30:21Tom Bilyeu?

All right, Drew, can I give you the really gross thing that I think every time and I never say out loud?

• 1:30:25Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 1:30:25Tom Bilyeu?

This is very easy. If this is all Epstein.

• 1:30:30Tom Bilyeu?

Somebody blur everything out, but is it just one penis in the footage? Or do we see a whole bunch like, because presumably you're not going to see faces in the footage? So if we just see one penis and this really is only one person. If the 10,000 tapes or whatever, it's just penis after penis after penis after penis. Then it's like, there's a lot of people. We need to find out, who are these people?

• 1:30:55Speaker 02

So we need a penis cam is what you're saying is that?

• 1:30:57Tom Bilyeu?

I'm saying it already exists and people are acting like, no, no, no, it's really just Epstein. As if we couldn't figure out if that's true. Uh, blur out the victim.

• 1:31:06Speaker 02

Looking at the tape with a tape measure like, no, that's a different penis. Hold on, I count three penises now.

• 1:31:11Tom Bilyeu?

  But am I crazy?

• 1:31:14Tom Bilyeu?

Like the, this stuff is so easy to debunk. The fact that no one wants to debunk it is the thing that I'm like, what is, what are we talking about? What is going on?

• 1:31:25Speaker 02

Yeah, you nailed it where it was there. There, there is no less. These aren't the drones you're looking for. Okay. Okay. It was the Democrats all along. Do, do, do, do, do, do, like you're, you're bot.

• 1:31:35Tom Bilyeu?

What was up on your page there? Uh, oh, yeah.

• 1:31:39Speaker 02

  No, that was his.

• 1:31:40Tom Bilyeu?

No, no, you had a guy with that. What's that?

• 1:31:44Tom Bilyeu?

This, no, this is probably a terrible idea.

• 1:31:46Speaker 02

Yep, yep, let's play it, let's play it, Eric, let's play it.

• 1:31:50Speaker 05

New rule, if you are a white guy with a beard, I am allowed to call you Josh, Sam, David, Kyle, or Matt, and you are not allowed to correct me. All of those names are synonyms for white guy with a beard.

• 1:31:59Speaker 06

That's okay, ping pong. As long as you are not allowed to drive or work any other job.

• 1:32:05Tom Bilyeu?

Drew, what are we doing? How did this end up on your feed?

• 1:32:08Speaker 06

Okay, thank you. Have a good day.

• 1:32:10Tom Bilyeu?
