Hey, can you come pick me up? Yeah, what's wrong? Nothing. Are you sure? Yeah, no, I just need a ride. Ride, ride. Oh, my God. So why, I just wanna have fun. Start your engines. Tiger.

• 0:30Benito Skinner?

  I'm Benito Skinner.

• 0:31Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm Mary Beth Brown.

• 0:33Benito Skinner?

  And this?

• 0:33Mary Beth Barone?

  Is?

• 0:34Benito Skinner?

  Ride.

• 0:38Mary Beth Barone?

  And we're recording?

• 0:39Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 0:39Mary Beth Barone?

  Okay, great.

• 0:40Benito Skinner?

  How's that, Mary Beth?

• 0:40Mary Beth Barone?

It's good. I feel like we can, in good conscience, do a third of the same intro that we were doing. So we just have to let the audience know that we've had tech difficulties and it is what it is.

• 0:50Benito Skinner?

  Can we keep all this?

• 0:51Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, yeah. No, we're keeping this. This is how we're starting the episode.

• 0:54Benito Skinner?

  We're recording, right?

• 0:54Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 0:56Benito Skinner?

Well, I sing, "I might let you make me tsudo." So I would say first take was for me, or actually you. Second take for me.

• 1:03Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 1:04Benito Skinner?

Third would have been for the director, but I'm actually tired and I'm ready to go to my trailer.

• 1:07Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, it's time for, it's time for a break, so we will be recording a full episode of the podcast. So just to let everyone know, this is Hitchhike Part Two, because we really wanted to hear from more Baronis. And then next week is the Season Two finale, followed by, of course, a special treat.

• 1:24Benito Skinner?

Oh, we've got such a little, a little treat from the desert, a little dessert in the desert.

• 1:29Mary Beth Barone?

And then Season Three, May 28th. Are we gonna announce it? I feel like we should tell everyone.

• 1:35Benito Skinner?

Wait, you're doing a Terry thing. I have to call it out. I love you so much, but you're twiddling that thing? It's all I'll focus on. Lately, it's the smallest things and I, my brain is just like, that's all I'm gonna see.

• 1:47Mary Beth Barone?

Well, I just wanna say, after last week's recording where I ate a few peanuts into the microphone, Benny was fully eating a tuna sandwich into the mic while we set up. I just wanted to put that out there.

• 1:56Benito Skinner?

Well, I didn't think you heard, hey, could I just say, I didn't think you heard a thing?

• 1:59Mary Beth Barone?

I heard everything, babe. I heard every, every bite.

• 2:02Benito Skinner?

Every collard green crunch, my love, my good fucking siss.

• 2:07Mary Beth Barone?

How are you? I don't feel funny today. I'm just gonna be honest with the Listeners, I don't feel funny.

• 2:11Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I went to Universal yesterday for my sister's birthday. I have much to report and I think you can just affirm everything I say. You don't have to be funny.

• 2:19Mary Beth Barone?

  I don't want to add.

• 2:21Benito Skinner?

It's funnier than most people in America.

• 2:23Mary Beth Barone?

Thank you, babe. And on that note, I did want to say, I don't know if you've seen the trailer for the new Alex Garland movie, The Man That Gave Us Annihilation.

• 2:30Benito Skinner?

  Oh, Warfare?

• 2:32Mary Beth Barone?

  Warfare.

• 2:33Benito Skinner?

America being funny into warfare. Now that's range. And you say you weren't gonna be funny, kid? Get out of making me laugh.

• 2:39Mary Beth Barone?

No, this is the thesis, the takeaway from that is it's not looking good. It's not like that was the segue. I texted my agents when that movie got announced and I was like, can I audition for this? And they go, it's boys only.

• 2:51Benito Skinner?

  Yeah, so.

• 2:52Mary Beth Barone?

Which is true. There were no women in the Middle East during the war.

• 2:56Benito Skinner?

Nothing's jumping off the page yet for you on this.

• 2:59Mary Beth Barone?

  Unfortunately.

• 3:00Benito Skinner?

All my auditions lately are, was originally written for a woman, but they're open to seeing other people.

• 3:04Mary Beth Barone?

  Sure.

• 3:05Benito Skinner?

And I'm like, I'm gonna rock this assistant role out.

• 3:10Mary Beth Barone?

You're gonna turn this shit out, babe.

• 3:12Benito Skinner?

But what do you mean you're not gonna fuck him? Like, that's me.

• 3:15Mary Beth Barone?

I just like the idea of making a movie and saying it's boys only.

• 3:19Benito Skinner?

Hey, that's warfare. Did he lie?

• 3:24Benito Skinner?

  Sorry, but did he lie?

• 3:25Mary Beth Barone?

I think there's a ratio of our women in uniform.

• 3:27Benito Skinner?

Do you want me to talk about Universal, speaking of warfare?

• 3:30Mary Beth Barone?

  You may.

• 3:31Benito Skinner?

So I went to Universal. I have a few notes. An immediate takeaway is, screens, I don't need to see it. I need animatronics. I need bad robots that are kind of like a little, they're, you know, kind of Dutzey whining.

• 3:45Mary Beth Barone?

  Totally.

• 3:45Benito Skinner?

I think we've, we've leaned too much into 3D and the screens. And the whole day I thought to myself, am I cross-eyed? Like, do I need Lasik? You know, I'm dying to do that because I want, you know, the cataracts.

• 3:56Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, and, and Lasik famously fixes being cross-eyed.

• 4:00Benito Skinner?

Oh, so you're gonna be a bitch from Tyrant?

• 4:03Mary Beth Barone?

Wait, so are they doing more experiential rides as opposed to coasters?

• 4:07Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I'll say something now, and I think like, I think everyone will agree with me. It might be for kids, but I don't know if it is. The Super Mario Brothers world is unbelievable. Like, when you step in it, the Mario Kart ride sucks donkey dick.

• 4:21Mary Beth Barone?

  Why?

• 4:22Benito Skinner?

It is so ass. I turned around to Terry was behind me and my sister, because we had him ride single all day. So each time, all the photos of him would be with like a new plus one on the Jurassic World ride, which I got fucking soaked. I have HPV now. Like, I have, I have everything now from that water. Terry was next to a 12 year old kid with red hair, who the whole time goes, "Don't put your hands up during the photo, or you're gonna block me." And I was like, "Oh my god." I said, "Do you know who you're talking to right now?" Like, it was so fire. I go, "You think Terry's gonna fuck up the photo? Like, that's crazy." We're on this Mario Kart ride or whatever, and it's all screens. They put like these little screens in front of you that do it.

• 5:05Benito Skinner?

And I get that it's an expensive, nice ride, but it's one of those ones where it's like you get a high score. And I'm like, "No, I want to feel air." I thought it was gonna be on Rainbow Road. You know, I thought it was gonna be like Space Mountain.

• 5:16Mary Beth Barone?

  Right.

• 5:17Benito Skinner?

It just was not it. And I turn around at one point and Terry just looks at me, sitting next to a full stranger, a 40 year old man. He just shakes his head. Horse girl.

• 5:26Mary Beth Barone?

  Thumbs down.

• 5:27Benito Skinner?

Thumbs down. But then we went on the mummy ride, and oh my god, is that fun. There's some good ones. See that? Barely any screens. There's like two screens.

• 5:36Mary Beth Barone?

I don't want screens on a ride. Like, that's not what I'm there for. I want to have a full body experience.

• 5:42Benito Skinner?

Mario Kart, I'm like, "This is just a video game now. I could have stayed at home."

• 5:45Mary Beth Barone?

  Right.

• 5:46Benito Skinner?

But I'm at Universal Studios Hollywood. But the funniest thing that we did, and I don't know if this sounds annoying, but if it does, I'm sure you'll let me know. I'm sure someone will let me know. But we went on the studio tour, and I thought it was a ride. I didn't realize like, we were going to work. Like, so I'm sitting next to my sister and they're like, so that's a studio. That's like a set. That's a soundstage. And I was like, yeah. And then they're like, those are the trailers. And I was like, um huh. And then they're like, those are the offices. And I was like, mm hmm. And then one of the soundstages is where Charlie had practiced her Grammy, like all her rehearsals for the Grammys were. So Terry's like, that's where I parked.

• 6:29Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, wait, so they just let people walk on the studio when there's active productions happening?

• 6:34Benito Skinner?

We were at work. It was like, I spent a Sunday on a soundstage. And there are a couple of ride elements, like there's like a Jaws thing, and then there's like a King Kong. Again, 3D, it just sucks. It's like, well, that's not King Kong because I wish it was animatronic. All to say, I had a few notes. I had a really nice time. I crop dusted turf hogwarts.

• 6:54Mary Beth Barone?

I was gonna ask. I was gonna ask. That was my first question. Well, post nine 11 media is officially over because King Duk Kha at Six Flags has shut down. I saw that on Taxi Cab TV. It was this huge roller coaster that they built in maybe the early 2000s. That was sort of legendary in the Northeast. King Duk Kha was such a big ride. And it closing down was sort of symbolic in a way. And now what you're saying about rides becoming more like screen focused. It's like, where are the meeting places for people anymore?

• 7:24Benito Skinner?

No, I don't know. It's like, I will say, I saw a new Fast and Furious ride coming though. That looks like a really unsafe roller coaster. So at least I think we're getting more into like, let's get back out there. Let's feel the wind. I want to feel the sweat.

• 7:39Mary Beth Barone?

Do you want to address the break that we're taking? Because it isn't, I mean, it's not so much a break as like the season is ending. But of course, we're going to be out promoting overcompensating, which as I told you last night, I'm calling, we're out on the campaign trail. So we're going to be going to swing states. We're going to be going to Iowa, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, all the swing states, just to make sure they're tuning in.

• 7:59Benito Skinner?

Well, of course. And we do have a little thing that we're planning. I don't know if, should we say it yet? Let's just say, if you were thinking about planning little watch parties in LA for overcompensating, you should.

• 8:12Mary Beth Barone?

  You should do it.

• 8:13Benito Skinner?

Get to planning. Jackson, are you gonna watch Day of?

• 8:16Speaker 04

Yes, I'm absolutely going to watch Day of. I'm so excited.

• 8:18Mary Beth Barone?

I'm excited to get into Hitchhikes and I don't think I have anything else to say up top. Like, I don't know. I had a dream last night.

• 8:24Benito Skinner?

It's been a lot of affirming.

• 8:25Mary Beth Barone?

I had a dream last night that we just started an episode without an intro. We just went straight into it. It was so weird. It was kind of a nightmare in a way where I was like, this is gonna be too jarring for people. Like, what, what are we doing? We have to stop. Cut.

• 8:38Benito Skinner?

I don't think it would ever be too jarring for them. I think, I don't know, Shyse McWhagan felt like the craziest thing, but I think Grandpa Terry. Can I just say the way you guys have embraced him, he feels seen.

• 8:50Mary Beth Barone?

He's part of the universe. He's a character.

• 8:52Benito Skinner?

You know what I keep laughing at is when you say, you say hi to him when you enter the house.

• 8:56Mary Beth Barone?

Hi, Grandpa Terry. Well, it's rude to come into a room and not say hi to everyone.

• 9:00Benito Skinner?

He kisses you on the neck.

• 9:02Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, we have a special relationship.

• 9:04Benito Skinner?

I'm so excited to hear more Hitchhikes. That was so much fun. I just want to reiterate, I wasn't like, that wasn't me scolding the person who said beat a dead horse, because like, I didn't know that either. But I think we're all learning together in a really powerful, beautiful way, I'd say.

• 9:17Mary Beth Barone?

I agree, and it's, it's a conversation and it's ongoing. It's a living, breathing thing. Language, language is a living, breathing thing, and we're learning new stuff all the time.

• 9:25Benito Skinner?

  New shapes.

• 9:26Mary Beth Barone?

  New shapes.

• 9:27Benito Skinner?

Should we play some of these? Welcome to part two of the hitchhike.

• 9:30Mary Beth Barone?

And this is an extension of Ride Heritage Month. Pretty much the rest, I mean, March through April, all the episodes are Ride Heritage Month.

• 9:37Benito Skinner?

It's kind of just, it's in perpetuity.

• 9:39Mary Beth Barone?

  It's in perpetuity.

• 9:41Benito Skinner?

Yeah. Like with the show coming out, how could that not feel heritage?

• 9:44Mary Beth Barone?

And that's May, so that's a three month.

• 9:46Benito Skinner?

That's May 15th. I just want to keep putting that in everyone's brain.

• 9:49Mary Beth Barone?

  May 15th.

• 9:50Benito Skinner?

May 15th, kid. May 15th in 227 territories across the globe. I cannot wait to see you dubbed in German.

• 9:58Mary Beth Barone?

Me too. Oh, my God. Shyse, hold on. I wanted to say something that this is something that's my opinion. It's not necessarily correct.

• 10:06Benito Skinner?

  I'm excited for this.

• 10:07Mary Beth Barone?

If I ask for gum and you say you have mints, just say you don't have gum. I don't want a mint. That's not the same.

• 10:16Benito Skinner?

  Okay.

• 10:16Mary Beth Barone?

  Do you get that?

• 10:18Benito Skinner?

  Reading is fundamental.

• 10:20Mary Beth Barone?

I understand that the person is trying to be helpful and offer me something, but I don't want a mint. And then to say no to your offering, which is you trying to be nice, actually just then makes me feel bad. So if I ask for gum and you don't have gum, just say, I don't have gum.

• 10:35Benito Skinner?

Oh, and on that, which is, it's kind of the exact same note. I just drove by a Titanic billboard that said, experience the journey of the Titanic. And I thought to myself, what part of the journey?

• 10:50Mary Beth Barone?

  I don't want to.

• 10:50Benito Skinner?

Do you know what I mean? I'm like, what are you talking about?

• 10:53Mary Beth Barone?

What was that an advertisement for?

• 10:55Benito Skinner?

I guess some, hey, I can only assume a 3D immersive experience.

• 10:59Mary Beth Barone?

  With screens.

• 11:00Benito Skinner?

But I was like, huh, okay. I don't think I need to experience the journey of that.

• 11:06Mary Beth Barone?

  I definitely don't.

• 11:07Benito Skinner?

I'm, hey, I'm good. I recently saw this thing, it was a TikTok where it talked about how in the movie, obviously it was like lit, but it was blackout when it happened, obviously. There was no moonlight on that night. So that means that when the ship split, the lights went out.

• 11:25Mary Beth Barone?

I'm sorry, I, that is sending a chill down my spine right now.

• 11:30Benito Skinner?

No, the car is rolling right now.

• 11:32Mary Beth Barone?

Did you go to the journey of the Titanic? Where did you hear this?

• 11:34Benito Skinner?

No, I saw this on TikTok. I don't know, the Titanic is following me, I swear. It's Grandpa Terry again. He's trying to spook me.

• 11:41Mary Beth Barone?

I, that really, that really makes me feel upset.

• 11:46Benito Skinner?

Relive the journey. I'm like, I'm good. Should we do a Donner Party experience too and relive that? The fuck are you guys talking about?

• 11:54Mary Beth Barone?

Relive the journey is where they just put you in a cold bath and they turn the lights out and then they kill you.

• 11:59Benito Skinner?

Wait, oh my God, you're in one of those like ice clubs? Do you know what I'm talking about?

• 12:03Mary Beth Barone?

  Yes, of course.

• 12:04Benito Skinner?

  The polar bear clubs?

• 12:05Mary Beth Barone?

  Of course.

• 12:05Benito Skinner?

I want to go there in Times Square with you.

• 12:09Mary Beth Barone?

Hey you guys, it's Mary Beth here, back in the submersible. Pinky's here and three of my best friends from high school. Currently having a dinner party, but you know what? We gotta do ads, literally required by law. The problem with these huge tech companies is they don't just want your money. They wanna know everything about you. Shadowy data brokers make a living compiling detailed profiles of your online activity and selling them to marketers and other corporate interests that wanna control you with targeted ads. They're not selling a product, they're selling you. But you don't have to let them. There is a way to keep your browsing history truly private, and I use it every day. It's an app called ExpressVPN. Why does everyone need ExpressVPN? One of the easiest ways for data brokers to track you is through your device's unique IP address,

• 12:54Mary Beth Barone?

which also reveals information about your location. With ExpressVPN, your IP address is hidden. It's like totally spy kids. That makes it more difficult for data brokers to monitor, track, and monetize your private online activity. I love that they think Baronius are like hacking the mainframe. You guys are gonna use this to watch Love Island. Literally. You can watch Love Island when you're in America, but the British version, which is what I do. ExpressVPN also encrypts 100% of your network traffic to keep your data safe from hackers when you're on public Wi-Fi. ExpressVPN works on all your devices: phone, laptop, tablet, you name it. Just tap one button to turn it on and you're protected. It's that easy. Protect your online privacy today and watch Love Island by visiting expressvpn.com/ridepod.

• 13:36Mary Beth Barone?

That's E-X-P-R-E-S-S-V-P-N dot com slash ridepod. And you can get an extra four months free. Expressvpn.com/ridepod.

• 13:49Mary Beth Barone?

  Say that again?

• 13:50Speaker 05

  You get so many points.

• 15:21Benito Skinner?

Can I say one thing really quickly? Miley Cyrus is obsessed with archival clothing. She's obsessed with talking about it. Can anyone explain this to me? And Miley, I love you and I love all the pieces. I just fear she's too fixated on it. It's like, everything is like archival Elias. And I'm like, wait, okay, yeah, you look great.

• 15:42Mary Beth Barone?

Where are you seeing this? On TikTok, on red carpet interviews?

• 15:45Benito Skinner?

It's the Titanic and it's Miley Cyrus archival. Okay, that's it.

• 15:49Mary Beth Barone?

Can someone put together a supercut of Miley Cyrus saying archival? By the way, I saw a supercut of Gal Gadot's worst line reads ever. Now that is some good media right there.

• 15:59Benito Skinner?

I didn't realize you were so opinionated. Okay, I saw Snow White.

• 16:04Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh.

• 16:06Benito Skinner?

  I saw Snow White.

• 16:07Mary Beth Barone?

  Bury the lead.

• 16:08Benito Skinner?

Go whistle while you go work. For two days, I sang to Inoa, "Go whistle while you work." And then it'd go.

• 16:17Benito Skinner?

  I.

• 16:18Mary Beth Barone?

That's very the scuttlebutt. That's the scuttlebutt part two.

• 16:21Benito Skinner?

It's so scuttlebutt. I think Rachel Zegler really has an unbelievable voice. I think those movies are just a nightmare to adapt because I think we want to see exactly what was there, but redone. But they think we want a new movie and I think some people do want a new movie, but I just want shot for shot.

• 16:40Mary Beth Barone?

Or just like, don't remake something, maybe with like-

• 16:43Benito Skinner?

  That's fucked.

• 16:44Mary Beth Barone?

That is fucked. Like, if you're gonna do a movie like that, if you can't adapt it in a way that's gonna appease the diehards, then just either make a totally new movie. Didn't they make Mirror Mirror? Wasn't that the same? Like, that's Snow, the story of Snow White?

• 16:58Benito Skinner?

I don't know if that was Disney, but that had such beautiful costumes. And Army Hammer, can I just say, we're not saying we fuck with him? I really don't think I fuck with anyone.

• 17:07Mary Beth Barone?

No, I actually don't fuck with anyone either, and I don't agree with anyone's political views, except Bernie Sanders. And that's all I will say.

• 17:15Benito Skinner?

I didn't know that you were so opinionated.

• 17:17Mary Beth Barone?

  Is that from Snow White?

• 17:19Benito Skinner?

Gala is giving Nina drama in a way that I can't quite put my finger on at times. Maybe we got in a little bit of trouble. Maybe we are just a little mad. But I've got something for you, girl. It's cool to be bad. I'm not kidding, that kind of slayed. That was like, exactly it.

• 17:41Mary Beth Barone?

So what I'll say about Gal Gadot is that she was gonna quit acting to be a lawyer before she got Wonder Woman, and I think she should have done it. I have no problems or qualms with saying that. I think go do your law degree and leave us alone.

• 17:56Benito Skinner?

I think that with all of these projects, I think the hardest thing you can possibly do is try to make something that will make everyone happy. And I feel like that is what some of these feel like. Like, they're just trying so hard to make it work for kids, but then also adults, but then adapted. So it's like, more about consent and like, a woman's autonomy. Like, it's just, there's so many things that are at play, and they just end up with such a disjointed thing, because you know that every single decision is made with like, fear, almost.

• 18:26Mary Beth Barone?

I think, instead of maybe remaking all these movies, that some of them are not really fit to be remade, let's just have some new stories. I would love for the kids to have some new narratives to get on board with, some new princesses and princes and gay characters and trans characters and all these things that, you know, reflect more of the modern world, as opposed to trying to take a story that was made in the 30s and make it relevant, or make it like, unproblematic. I just think-

• 18:51Benito Skinner?

  It's just, it's your-

• 18:52Mary Beth Barone?

You can't win, you can't win.

• 18:53Benito Skinner?

  It's a losing game.

• 18:54Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 18:55Benito Skinner?

So let's get into the hitchhike.

• 18:56Mary Beth Barone?

Let's get into hitchhike, and I'm really glad we-

• 18:58Benito Skinner?

I didn't realize you were so opinionated.

• 19:01Mary Beth Barone?

  Us to the baronies.

• 19:02Benito Skinner?

Yeah. She like, cracks a lobster when she does it. It's so funny. Never mind. Alright, let's hear him.

• 19:10Mary Beth Barone?

  Wait, where are we going?

• 19:11Benito Skinner?

  Who cares? Ride!

• 19:14Speaker 06

Hi, my name is Leah. I am so in love with you both. But today, I am riding for hyping up your best friend's outfits. So this is obviously an extension of the Girls and Girlies episode. But I think there is nothing like getting ready with your best friend's one in itself is a very special thing. But two, within that, when your friend comes out and maybe she's wearing a new top, or she's showing more skin than usual, or she's just trying something adventurous,

• 19:52Speaker 06

and is looking at you for hype, and you have the floor to hype her the fuck up over what she's wearing, it's just such a fun and lighthearted, but also honestly deeply confident boosting moment that is like so core to girlhood. And I ride for it so hard, and I believe you both must as well. So yeah, love you guys.

• 20:23Mary Beth Barone?

Okay, I have to say, Leah, you sound exactly like Maelyn Ackerman.

• 20:28Benito Skinner?

Oh my god, the heartbreak kid.

• 20:30Mary Beth Barone?

In such a crazy way, and I just rewatched The Watchmen a couple of weeks ago. And so if no one's ever told you that before, like you could have a career in voice acting. I just want to say that.

• 20:39Benito Skinner?

Oh, can I say something to you?

• 20:40Mary Beth Barone?

  Sure.

• 20:41Benito Skinner?

Who watches The Watchmen? I think about that all the time.

• 20:43Mary Beth Barone?

  It sticks with you.

• 20:45Benito Skinner?

I love this. I love this because complimenting your friends, you can take the energy from the room, or you can bring the sunlight. Let's bring the sunlight, kids. Here's my thing, everyone needs it too. Like, someone you think doesn't need it, they need it. And if you love something, say it. Oh my god, it's such a scary time, we need this, we need community, we need the love of a bestie to be like, you look so cute today. Or like, if they're telling you, oh, I kind of like look like shit, it's like, no you don't, you're my bestie, don't talk about my bestie like that, and you slap her.

• 21:16Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah, you slap her.

• 21:17Benito Skinner?

  We got this.

• 21:17Mary Beth Barone?

You do this all the time for me, especially When I'm wearing something, maybe a little bit outside of my comfort zone, which I feel like you really pushed me to be more fashion forward. And I love that because I want to take risks with fashion. But sometimes you're just like, oh, I don't know if it's worth it. Is it going to photograph weird? What's the story I'm telling here? And I feel like just having that moment where you get ready with your friend. And this used to be more in the pregame space, like back in, you know, the college days, which you'll see reflected back at you. And of course, overcompensating. But now it's like when I'm staying with you or if you're having a sleepover or if you're visiting somebody in another city where your bestie might have moved and you only have the clothes you brought. And so you really want to walk out looking and feeling your best.

• 21:59Mary Beth Barone?

And so I feel like this is such an important part of the evening as it unfolds.

• 22:04Benito Skinner?

I completely agree. It's hype. It's being a hyper for your, your girls and your gays. And, and dare I say, even your straight boyfriends need to compliment every now and then. So they don't shoot us like we have to give that.

• 22:15Mary Beth Barone?

  Exactly.

• 22:15Benito Skinner?

You know what I mean? It's not going to look good for us. We have to pet the egos just a little bit. I think this is beautiful and it's spreading positivity. And you can either make someone feel like shit or you can make them feel like a million fricking bucks. And why not do the latter?

• 22:29Mary Beth Barone?

Where are we on as a society? Like I've walked by some people recently who I've wanted to compliment on their outfit, but I haven't done it because I'm like, are they going to think I'm weird or annoying? I don't know.

• 22:40Benito Skinner?

No, you're not a dad. So I think it's coming from the right place. Well, I try to make sure like within two seconds, they know I'm gay because this face could give graduate of USC, parents paid for me to be on the crew team. So I have to make sure that there is nothing threatening about me the second I walk into a store. So I make sure that I do that first. I lay the groundwork in a way. And then I, I let her rip, you know? And I love complimenting someone's makeup because that takes so fucking long. And I'm just like, your makeup looks fucking bomb. And I said this the other day at Cinemark North Hollywood, when I went to Snow White, Gwistle While You Gwork. And she was like, it took so long. And I was like, I bet it looks amazing. It's like intricate.

• 23:20Mary Beth Barone?

You're really good about that. You're really good about it.

• 23:22Benito Skinner?

And I had a great night and I can only hope that she felt good for two seconds. I mean, and I hope it was longer than that. But if it was even just two seconds of. Little confidence boost. Everyone needs it. Hey, Jackson, I love you. Say it back.

• 23:34Speaker 04

  I love you.

• 23:35Benito Skinner?

  You look fantastic today.

• 23:37Speaker 04

  So do you.

• 23:38Benito Skinner?

See, doesn't that feel good, you guys? Like, come on, Mary Beth, you look freaking cute in your cozy sweater and your beautiful hair.

• 23:43Mary Beth Barone?

Am I on glue or are you not looking right at me?

• 23:48Benito Skinner?

I'm sorry, am I on glue? We have to bring it back. I've been saying it a lot lately. I'm like, am I on glue or like?

• 23:54Mary Beth Barone?

I had never heard it before, Legally Blonde.

• 23:57Benito Skinner?

No. Well, Leah, you have a sexy voice, very Mollin. And if that is Mollin, come on, sweetie. Classic Mollin.

• 24:05Mary Beth Barone?

If you're a barony, let us know. Okay, let's hear the next one.

• 24:10Speaker 07

  Hi, me loves.

• 24:12Benito Skinner?

  Hi, me love.

• 24:12Speaker 07

My name is Sophia and I ride for customized license plates for a couple of reasons.

• 24:18Benito Skinner?

  Vanity plate.

• 24:18Speaker 07

I personally don't have one, just because I don't have the time, energy, or cleverness to create one that would work for me. But I just, I feel like every time I see someone with a custom license plate, I'm just a little bit obsessed. Because it's always like, either, you know, housewife looking mom or like a young girl. And even sometimes I see a dude and I'm like, you know what? Hell, yeah. And they just are so funny. And it's almost like trying to decipher a puzzle. Like, what does this mean? Some of them are obvious and just in your face. Like, I saw one yesterday that said Sweet P. So cute.

• 25:01Speaker 07

  S W T P E A. Loved.

• 25:04Benito Skinner?

Whoa, that's a hard one to get.

• 25:06Speaker 07

And then some I just see and I'm like, I don't, what is this code you're trying to, to say to me? I don't, I don't understand it. So it's kind of like a game every time I see it.

• 25:14Benito Skinner?

I wish my plate said love game.

• 25:16Speaker 07

Love, custom plates. I ride for custom license plates. Love you guys.

• 25:21Benito Skinner?

  Love you, baby.

• 25:22Mary Beth Barone?

This is such a good one.

• 25:24Benito Skinner?

This is just incredible. I mean, here's my thing. I just was behind a car and I almost got in a wreck trying to take a photo. The plate said Dior Home, which I thought was so incredible. I was like, like Fall Winter 25. Like, that's incredible.

• 25:37Mary Beth Barone?

And it was state sanctioned? Like, it was a real plate?

• 25:39Benito Skinner?

  H M M E. Dior, H M M E. But I really want Love Game in my Audi. If it was L U V G A M 3, Love Game. And you know that's me. You know that's Benny Drama swerving through lanes.

• 25:52Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, yeah.

• 25:52Benito Skinner?

  Going the speed limit.

• 25:53Mary Beth Barone?

He's going the speed limit. My favorite thing about you. I saw one yesterday that said the number two, the letter B, and then it said blunt, to be blunt. And I just think it's, okay, here's my thing. And it was my, it was my own car.

• 26:06Benito Skinner?

  That's your Jetta?

• 26:07Mary Beth Barone?

  It was my car.

• 26:07Benito Skinner?

Should there are easier ways to say your Mary Beth Jetta?

• 26:10Mary Beth Barone?

I love this because it's like a little piece of flair. You did it with flair. You're making the car your own without putting, maybe you are putting a bumper sticker, but this feels, you went, you filled out forms, you went through the state, and you said, I'm gonna put a little piece of my personality on this car, and I'm gonna make it my own. And I just love that. And it's, it's in the same vein. It's in the Maslow's hierarchy of mom's flip flops and earrings would be like a mom's vanity plate. So I fully ride for these. I used to think they were a little indulgent, maybe a little silly, but like, that's when I was a kid. And I was just like, wait, that's crazy that someone would go out of their way to do that. But now that I like own things and you want to customize them, and you don't just want the same Jetta as everybody else.

• 26:54Benito Skinner?

I think this is so fun. I think it's funny when straight guys have it too. Admin can be disturbing, or it can be kind of fucking hilarious and kind of sweet. I don't know, it feels so vulnerable, like thinking of them filling that out. Like, they took the time to do that. Do I think that time could have been spent in a better way? Maybe.

• 27:09Mary Beth Barone?

  Maybe.

• 27:10Benito Skinner?

Maybe not. Like, I don't know. That's kind of cute. And it's very flair. It's very chair. I don't think I'd ever do it because I know Terry would just be like, god damn it. But maybe I would. A Love Game is kind of sitting with me in a huge way.

• 27:25Mary Beth Barone?

I'm just gonna amplify and say, I would, I would love to see nothing more than your car in front of me. With the love game vanity plate.

• 27:32Benito Skinner?

Me pulling up and you always know it's me.

• 27:35Mary Beth Barone?

  Swerving.

• 27:36Benito Skinner?

It's not, it's not nine and three, you know, it's, it's love game.

• 27:39Mary Beth Barone?

I love that they're called vanity plates in general. That feels very right to me. It's like your, it's your vein, your vein about everything, including your car. A barony on board would just be massive. Also, I have a question about vanity plates. Can anyone, does each state, like if, if the to be blunt, is that the only one in the whole country?

• 27:58Benito Skinner?

Can I just say, I guess we'll never know.

• 27:59Mary Beth Barone?

I guess we'll never know. I thought of a new rule. I think clear, I don't mind if people cut me who have clear, as long as they're women or gay guys, non-binary people or members of the LGBTQ community. A straight man should never fucking cut me. A straight man should never cut a woman. Stop it.

• 28:17Benito Skinner?

  Where are you going?

• 28:18Mary Beth Barone?

  Stop it.

• 28:18Benito Skinner?

  Hey, where are you going?

• 28:20Mary Beth Barone?

Why are you in such a fucking rush?

• 28:23Benito Skinner?

Yeah. Wait in line and think about what you did.

• 28:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Exactly. All right. Next.

• 28:28Benito Skinner?

  Come on.

• 28:28Speaker 07

Hi guys. My name is Clementine and today I'll be writing for libraries. I write for libraries because I love reading and books can be expensive, especially when I know I probably won't read them more than once. So instead of buying them to sit on my shelves at home, I can borrow them from the library.

• 28:46Benito Skinner?

  It's beautiful.

• 28:46Speaker 07

Libraries are not just books like people think. Movies, music, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks and more.

• 28:53Benito Skinner?

  Selling this.

• 28:54Speaker 07

All for free. What's even cooler is if they don't have something, they will order it for you at no charge. Libraries offer places to work or study.

• 29:04Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, she wrote this out.

• 29:05Speaker 07

And resources to those without. A couple of months ago, I even went in there to renew my passport. How cool is that? Lastly, librarians are the sweetest people on the planet. A fond memory I have is going in and asking the librarian if she had any recommendations and she said, I think you might like this and handed me Twilight. When I die, I'm leaving the rest of my money to libraries. Love you sweats.

• 29:29Benito Skinner?

So that read like a speech in high school in speech class. So beautifully, so eloquent, five paragraph essay. You're fabulous. We're not going to have libraries in three years. So I think this is great for us to bring some attention to them now.

• 29:43Mary Beth Barone?

I, I just saw an article that said Doji is gutting libraries like while we're all paying attention to other stuff. So I, I fear that we're going to lose libraries. You know, who loves a library is my sister. She goes and gets books out multiple times per week.

• 29:58Benito Skinner?

Do you know who did something so striking to me was Troye Sivan?

• 30:02Mary Beth Barone?

  What did he do?

• 30:04Benito Skinner?

Terry and him were working on something and he was, we were in Paris. Oh God, this is one of those stories, isn't it? And he had spent the whole day in the library in Paris, just working on his laptop and, and looked at a few books. And yeah, I was like, wow, that sounds like an absolute glorious day on earth.

• 30:20Mary Beth Barone?

That's hot to me. Oh no, oh no, I'm attracted to Troye Sivan randomly. All of a sudden when I heard that.

• 30:25Benito Skinner?

It happens to the best of us.

• 30:26Mary Beth Barone?

It happens to the best of us. Look, libraries, they're such an important piece of like America. They're Americana to me. I'm in the middle of watching a movie called Party Girl where Parker Posey plays like

• 30:38Benito Skinner?

  She works at a library.

• 30:39Mary Beth Barone?

And she works at a library. Do a decimal system.

• 30:42Benito Skinner?

God, I love that movie. It makes me want to get falafel every time I watch it. And where Issey Miyake and Comme des Garçons.

• 30:48Mary Beth Barone?

And JPG and just everything about it.

• 30:50Benito Skinner?

I'm not going to say, of course.

• 30:52Mary Beth Barone?

We need to save our libraries, kids. I don't know how we're going to do it, but much like our rights and things that are nice in this world, we're going to have to fight to save them.

• 31:00Benito Skinner?

Oh, do you know that I really want to bring back Reading Rainbow? Have I told you this?

• 31:03Mary Beth Barone?

  No.

• 31:04Benito Skinner?

Like I want us to be the hosts of it with Kaia Gerber.

• 31:06Mary Beth Barone?

I, I thank you for saying that.

• 31:08Benito Skinner?

  Sorry, Jackson, aren't you in?

• 31:10Mary Beth Barone?

Library Science, Kaia Gerber's book club.

• 31:13Benito Skinner?

  Library Science, fabulous.

• 31:15Mary Beth Barone?

One thing I will say about that girl on set between every take, she is reading a book. She's reading a book in the green room. She's, I'm like, she's just turning pages all day. I was so impressed. She's not just having the book club as like a fun project.

• 31:29Benito Skinner?

She lifts her values, just like you were watching Mad Men all day and I was shopping on the Essence sale at every second I could. So here's the thing, live your truth, live your values, always stay true to you and head to the library. I really want to go to one. It's been a while. I need to find the one that's in my area. I wonder which one, I'm not going to say where, cause I don't want you guys to come kill me, but I do think that, I think we have to go to them more. I think it's, it's community and I can't, I. In my head, the community at a library is really lovely. Like, that seems really safe to me. My, my godmother's daughter works at the library in Boise. And so that was the last library I went to. And it was just like, I walked in and it smelled so good and it was so friendly. And people were learning and they were, honestly, while the rest of us were bopping around, running errands, they were reading about worlds.

• 32:13Mary Beth Barone?

They were reading about worlds quietly as well.

• 32:16Benito Skinner?

Peaceful. We work at the library. We go, we have just the book for you. And we slide over City of Indra.

• 32:20Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, yeah. It's the last copy.

• 32:22Benito Skinner?

I got just the one for you. I didn't realize you're so opinionated. And then I slide over City of Indra, The Story of Lex and Liv.

• 32:34Mary Beth Barone?

...these ads separately. Oh, yeah. Okay, so it's daddy's turn. And here's the deal. In Paper Doll: Notes from a Late Bloomer, Dylan Mulvaney pulls back the curtain of her it-girl lifestyle with a witty and intimate reflection of her life pre and post-transition. • 35:32Benito Skinner?

  Next.

• 35:33Speaker 07

So I ride for so many things that it was hard to choose. I was choosing between

• 35:39Benito Skinner?

  See what we go through?

• 35:40Speaker 07

Freudian slips, Hilary Duff's album Metamorphosis, and the defenestration, don't know if I pronounced that right, of Prague. And I honestly think that it's gotta be the third defenestration of Prague for me. It's so topical. You know, it's like, it's like 1618, the Bohemians, straight up, I think, like, kicked a Habsburg straight out the window. They're like, fuck this corruption. And it started like the Thirty Years' War. And I'm just like, where's that energy today? Like, why aren't we just? Kicking, you know, corruption out of windows. Like, I just don't understand.

• 36:25Speaker 07

It seems like an appropriate response at this point. So I definitely ride for the defenestration of Prague in 1618, for sure.

• 36:34Benito Skinner?

  These-

• 36:34Speaker 07

Freudian slips and Hilary Dab's metamorphosis are like close seconds and thirds.

• 36:39Benito Skinner?

Those three things are pillars of you. You have met-

• 36:43Mary Beth Barone?

  I've met my match.

• 36:44Benito Skinner?

That was your id, by the way.

• 36:45Mary Beth Barone?

The baronies, sometimes they hold a mirror up to me.

• 36:48Benito Skinner?

I can't even, where do I even begin with this? Every time, though, it sounds like you guys are in the closet hiding from somebody, and I think that feels right.

• 36:56Mary Beth Barone?

  Agreed.

• 36:56Benito Skinner?

You can't reveal, like, hey, Rite is just for us, and we've always said that. You can't share it with anyone else who's in the house. But, oh, this is fabulous. Throw corruption out the window? I mean, hell, yes. Freudian slip, I'm obsessed with, though. It's very Oedipus.

• 37:10Mary Beth Barone?

Freudian slips are so fun, and they can always be celebrated. Like, the Freudian slip doesn't have to be embarrassing. You can all have a good laugh, you know?

• 37:18Benito Skinner?

No, because also, it's like, you know when people are like, when you're drunk, like, you know, you're more yourself, or you like say, and people are like, that's not true. I'm like, no, I know you wanted to say that to me.

• 37:27Mary Beth Barone?

  It kind of is.

• 37:28Benito Skinner?

I bet you got it out of your system. I didn't realize you were so brilliant. Sorry, I have to stop.

• 37:34Mary Beth Barone?

New error alert. The defenestration of Prague is so fascinating. It's not something I really knew about. Of course, I love to hear the name Habsburg thrown around on the pod, though, of course.

• 37:44Benito Skinner?

Well, of course. And I'm wondering why we're not talking about the Charles Bridge.

• 37:47Mary Beth Barone?

The Charles Bridge? Something that's a fun-

• 37:49Benito Skinner?

The Charles Bridge has to be involved.

• 37:50Mary Beth Barone?

Fun activity for the baronies is look up when Prussia was dissolved. You know, like, it's more recent than you think. A lot of shit happened not that long ago. That's what we're forgetting. And so I just, I need, history repeats itself, and I feel like it hasn't even been that long. So like, we just need to be aware of these things. And yeah, I want to throw people out a window. I have a very long list on my phone of people I want to throw out a window.

• 38:13Benito Skinner?

Dear media, can you just make sure to clip that first part about Prussia while we're at it? And then I have to say- With my linebacker arms these days, I just know I could take somebody. Just give me a reason to throw somebody out the window. Talk back to one of my girls. Hey, aim for the bushes. And I think that anything that goes down in Prague is something I'm interested in because I was there for two days when I was abroad. And I love the John Lennon wall and I walked around the whole day by myself because I was what we like to call clinically depressed.

• 38:45Mary Beth Barone?

  Yes.

• 38:45Benito Skinner?

And that town, the Gothic-ness of it, actually awakened something in me. I thought it was incredible. I loved it. I loved the bridge. I thought the bridge was so cool. And I was drinking a lot, which was kind of crazy for me, but I do remember Prague really taking care of me. So whoever fought to make sure that I could, a gay man could strut around Prague in a Stan Smith for a day. Like, I can only thank you now on the podcast.

• 39:10Mary Beth Barone?

It sounds like it was the Bohemians. So, bravo.

• 39:13Benito Skinner?

  The Bohos.

• 39:14Mary Beth Barone?

  Hey, props to them.

• 39:15Benito Skinner?

And their descendant is Sienna Miller.

• 39:18Mary Beth Barone?

Absolutely. I have Sienna Miller hair today. You didn't even comment on it.

• 39:23Benito Skinner?

Well, I can barely see it.

• 39:24Mary Beth Barone?

  My hair is-

• 39:25Benito Skinner?

There's a fern gully behind you, but I thought you looked gorge.

• 39:28Mary Beth Barone?

  Thanks, babe.

• 39:29Benito Skinner?

Here's the thing, I just think you're the most beautiful woman.

• 39:31Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, stop.

• 39:33Benito Skinner?

And I was, it's so funny because do you, I mean, I assume you do this, like, you don't have to, but I think you do. Like, every meal I'm at, I just talk about you. I show photos of you. I show outfits you've worn that I like. I've shown you on Halloween. Like, I'm like, her face can transform into anyone. You have to see this.

• 39:49Mary Beth Barone?

Well, I just assume that anyone who's talking to me is like fully aware of all your work and everything about you as well. So I just, I talk about you as an extension of me. Like, anything you know about me, you obviously also know about Benny.

• 40:01Benito Skinner?

Imagine how I botched your final joke of thought provoking the other day with the 9/11 thing. I was trying so hard and they were like-

• 40:08Mary Beth Barone?

  Where?

• 40:09Benito Skinner?

I was getting really close. I was like, and then it's the Ice Cream Museum? Isn't that what it was?

• 40:14Mary Beth Barone?

  Museum of Ice Cream.

• 40:15Benito Skinner?

  The Museum of Ice Cream.

• 40:16Mary Beth Barone?

Or the honeycomb thing in Hudson Yards.

• 40:18Benito Skinner?

You know what? Go stream it.

• 40:21Mary Beth Barone?

  That's it.

• 40:22Benito Skinner?

  Go watch it.

• 40:22Mary Beth Barone?

And you can even just fast forward to the end. It's like five minutes at the end. Well, thanks for quoting me, babe. It means the world.

• 40:28Benito Skinner?

I was doing the best I could. I, oh my god. You know the one I love that you're doing on tour right now? The one about you being blonde and it's like give a gay guy a TV show. It's not just because it's about me, it's just like that really-

• 40:37Mary Beth Barone?

This is what happens when you let gay guys make decisions for you.

• 40:40Benito Skinner?

  All right, continue. Next one.

• 40:42Speaker 07

Okay, hey, I ride for my girlfriend's iPad because I think if a mall is an older sister, an iPad is a vacation. My girlfriend loves her iPad. And I realized this a few months into dating, she was just always gonna have it on, or we'd be in bed. And she'd just like, oh, just kind of pull it out. Oh, do you want to watch a show? She's drawing on it. She's going on Pinterest on it. I don't have one of my own. But I benefit so much from her having one to the point where I don't really think I need one. Like, we're on a train, we're on a plane, we're in a hotel, and she pulls out her iPad. I'm like, let's go. Hands me an AirPod. Now

• 41:24Speaker 07

we're watching her favorite show on a plane. Or, hey, let me look at some outfit ideas. She pulls out her iPad. It's so much more fun than like scrolling on a phone or pulling out a laptop. And I love like not having the responsibility of it being mine. It's just, it's fun. It's a vacation. And I want to know if you ride for your partner or a partner's iPad or a piece of tech like that. Okay, love you. Bye.

• 41:59Benito Skinner?

Love you so much. This is so funny to me. Immediately, my brain goes to they lose the iPad, break up. It's the only thing keeping them together.

• 42:06Mary Beth Barone?

It's the glue. Am I on glue?

• 42:09Benito Skinner?

Sorry, I think this is so incredible. It reminds me of the movie Her for some reason. Terry does have an iPad. I find myself a little jealous of her every now and then. Seeing your partner just so happy, fully horizontal, but their neck, they're cranking their neck to look at their iPad. That's like, I just know how relaxed he is and how much fun he's probably having. And when he puts out his little stylus pen, like, that's, that's childlike wonder. And I think I completely agree. I love that you're doing things together on the iPad. I'll talk to Terry and see if we can start watching shows together on it. And drawing, I love. Like, to turn and see your partner drawing while you're in bed.

• 42:44Mary Beth Barone?

  Or putting outfits together?

• 42:46Benito Skinner?

  Like graphic design.

• 42:48Mary Beth Barone?

We literally just got my dad an iPad for his birthday and I was looking at it with the keyboard and it has that little kickstand and I just thought, how have these not just completely replaced the laptop for most people? Like, it's so much sleeker, it's so much smaller, it's so much more convenient. Like, obviously if you're like editing videos and stuff and you need like powerful software, I understand why you wouldn't want to have just an iPad, but for most people, the iPad is getting the job done. And I just think like, it's such a futuristic thing that it would have been in like a movie set in 2060 when we were kids, especially being able to draw on it. Like, that's, it's like, it's, we're living in, it's so Spy Kids.

• 43:28Benito Skinner?

It's incredible. I love them. I'm so glad your dad has one. He's gonna have the time of his fucking life on it, because my parents have one, they love it. It is also such a little, the iPad's a little bitch. You can download all your shows on that, but not a laptop? I'm so, can anyone say why?

• 43:44Mary Beth Barone?

Well, because, because the iPad is apps-based, whereas like, a computer is like software, whatever. I mean, they're both software.

• 43:52Benito Skinner?

It's all apps. It's because of apps.

• 43:54Mary Beth Barone?

But you know what I mean? Like, like when you download something on your laptop, it's an application, but when you go to your iPad, it's from the App Store. So there's something with that.

• 44:03Benito Skinner?

Media, we have got a clip for you.

• 44:08Benito Skinner?

  Hello, my love.

• 44:11Mary Beth Barone?

If you don't fucking clip that. I love the idea of it not being hers as well. It's the girlfriend's iPad, so it's like, you're not totally responsible for it. That's fabulous. Best case.

• 44:19Benito Skinner?

Yeah, you don't have to charge it. You don't have to deal with the rigmarole of like, getting that through security, because you do have to take out the iPad. You have to take it out, and you have to, it's separate from the laptop, it's a whole thing, even though we never will figure out if we take shoes on or off, or if the laptop stays in or out of the bag. But I know we'll get to it in about 10 years.

• 44:37Mary Beth Barone?

Here's something, a question I posed to the Bronies. Don't, I don't actually want to know the answer, but what is a lithium battery?

• 44:43Benito Skinner?

And on that note, what is a Rivian?

• 44:47Mary Beth Barone?

Hi, Mary Beth and Bunny. Me and my high school friends love ride and our group chat is called the Bronies.

• 44:54Speaker 06

My name is Claire and I ride for the scale scene and raise your voice when Hillary Duff has to sing a scale. And I truly think the two of you could recreate it, which is why I put the TikTok in there as well. But seriously, love you guys so much. I want to hide it behind an episode.

• 45:13Mary Beth Barone?

I have that video saved to my phone for a reason.

• 45:17Benito Skinner?

I had no idea that a scene that happens before it is the, where'd you get your shoes? Out of a garbage bin in Portland?

• 45:24Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 45:24Benito Skinner?

You win. These cost me $60. That's when you and I met.

• 45:29Mary Beth Barone?

That was at Our Wicked Lady. It's word for word. It's verbatim.

• 45:33Benito Skinner?

Talk about real, recognize real. That scene to me is such a time capsule.

• 45:38Mary Beth Barone?

That whole entire movie is so fascinating. We can't even get into the plotline because we don't have time.

• 45:44Benito Skinner?

You know who the teacher is?

• 45:46Mary Beth Barone?

  K!

• 45:49Benito Skinner?

You broke my heart, K! It's fucking Aiden.

• 45:52Mary Beth Barone?

You can do the scales and I would like to hear them.

• 45:55Benito Skinner?

La, la, la, la, la. La, ha, ha. Hu, hu, hu. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Isn't it like that?

• 46:10Mary Beth Barone?

  It's exactly like that. No, it's this. It's, it's.

• 46:18Benito Skinner?

Ooh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, hey. And when she all of a sudden eyes closed and then, phew, and then she's done. Her thumbs are right through those belt loops. She's eaten down. She's showing off the VCs. And when that other girl in there is kind of like, fuck, she's fucking tore that. They kept doing that to Hillary where they would just have a completely different human's voice. And she didn't need it. She has a really nice voice.

• 46:45Mary Beth Barone?

She didn't need it. And I say justice for the album Sparks, but the, the way they just tried to blend her voice with a totally different voice and think, I don't know if they thought people wouldn't notice or if it just, why? What was the?

• 47:00Benito Skinner?

When I see you smiling, I go. And it's like, that's not Hillary. Oh, we've talked about how Paolo is something unbelievable.

• 47:09Mary Beth Barone?

  Lizzy.

• 47:09Benito Skinner?

  You have a twin.

• 47:13Benito Skinner?

Isabella. Isabella, you have a twin. I didn't realize you were so...

• 47:19Benito Skinner?

I had an audition the other day and the final line was, "I want to show you something." And me and I know I could not get through it. She was reading with me. Every, and then finally on the last take, because we, you know, we had gotten it. I said, "I want to show you something," and I almost sent that one on accident. But maybe the director would have been like, "Shit, that's an interesting line read."

• 47:37Mary Beth Barone?

  That's a different, it's a different direction than I would have gone.

• 47:40Benito Skinner?

  Okay, cool.

• 47:42Mary Beth Barone?

I was helping someone read for Carmen and in the NSO scene, it used to end, the NSO coordinator would say, "Whoop a gangnam style."

• 47:50Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 47:50Mary Beth Barone?

I'm not kidding you. I think we did 50 takes. That's the first line in the whole scene. And I laughed every single time.

• 47:59Benito Skinner?

Oh darling, you know, that's a, I think, that might be a $20,000 joke that unfortunately in the budget we cannot do. You can't, I just have to say, the things I've learned, I think I could probably be at least, you know, what are they called when you're like, you work in a law office?

• 48:15Mary Beth Barone?

  Paralegal?

• 48:16Benito Skinner?

I could be a paralegal. I really could because I know so much about like...

• 48:20Mary Beth Barone?

Your declarations today are so funny. I could be a paralegal.

• 48:24Benito Skinner?

I could, I could be a paralegal. Jackson agrees. I just like, I know so much now about like what things cost.

• 48:31Mary Beth Barone?

  Size.

• 48:31Benito Skinner?

  At least a little.

• 48:32Mary Beth Barone?

Size getting his coin and I love that. Whoop a gangnam style. Okay, so yeah, I mean, should we pick a ride from these? There's so many good ones to pick from.

• 48:42Benito Skinner?

God, this is, it's near impossible. I think I have to go with hyping up your friends because I just think everyone needs it, especially in this scary, scary world. I really loved the one about Prague though. I mean, I loved all of these so much. It's crazy because it's like, you're all, you all sound exactly like I thought you would. Like galaxy brain, queen'd up. This feels like queening out with my divas.

• 49:04Mary Beth Barone?

  And it's all about friendship.

• 49:07Benito Skinner?

They all sound like sweet darling, darling babies. And I just feel really lucky, but I would have to, if I had to pick one, I would say, it's the one that I think I believe in the most and I, I live the most, at least I try to.

• 49:20Mary Beth Barone?

  Every day.

• 49:21Benito Skinner?

Compliments. I think everyone needs them and I think everyone deserves them. Well, not everyone, but most.

• 49:27Mary Beth Barone?

Most. Mine is, of course, going to be the defenestration of Prague. And I'm going to read about that, not while I'm driving. I'm going to get in the car, I'm going to get home and then I'm going to read about it. But it's just fun to learn new things about history. I mean, there's just so much of it and, and we've only really begun to scratch the surface. I think some of the stuff, as I've said before, we could leave in the past and, and sell your Tesla stock.

• 49:47Benito Skinner?

It sounds like I, I would probably like the, what's it called? The defenest- what's it?

• 49:50Mary Beth Barone?

  Defenestration.

• 49:51Benito Skinner?

  Defenestration?

• 49:52Mary Beth Barone?

  Defenestration.

• 49:54Benito Skinner?

Denestration? Jackson, is that right? Is it denestration?

• 49:59Mary Beth Barone?

  I think it's defenestration.

• 50:01Benito Skinner?

I would love to relive the defenestration of Prague. Whoever is making the Titanic one, you gotta, I gotta do that.

• 50:07Mary Beth Barone?

  The journey.

• 50:08Benito Skinner?

And it's fun. You get to throw people out windows. They're dummies and you throw them out. That sounds incredible.

• 50:14Mary Beth Barone?

Thank you guys so much. We'll be back next week with the season finale.

• 50:19Benito Skinner?

Okay, here it is. I'll, I'll save it for the end. I'mma let you make me zuro, third time's a charm. Zuro, zuro. Finale next week. We love you.

• 50:31Benito Skinner?

  Oh, my exit.

• 50:33Mary Beth Barone?

Benny babe, eyes on the road. Benny, go!
