Hi, my name is Tessa and I'm 22 years old.

• 1:01Speaker 04

Hi, my name is James. I'm 22 years old. We're both from Dallas.

• 1:04Speaker 03

  And this is Financial Audit.

• 1:07Caleb Hammer?

Thanks for coming down to Austin, guys. So we'll start with you. This is a married couple, right?

• 1:12Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 1:12Caleb Hammer?

  These guys are young. Wow.

• 1:15Caleb Hammer?

Me, alright. I'm nearing on 30. I'm making me a bit nervous.

• 1:20Speaker 03

We kind of had to marry.

• 1:23Caleb Hammer?

Oh, is there a baby involved?

• 1:24Speaker 03

No, no, no, no, no, not yet. So we applied for a K1 visa. I'm not from here. I'm Mexican.

• 1:29Caleb Hammer?

Is this a 90 day fiance type situation?

• 1:32Speaker 03

  Yes, yes.

• 1:32Speaker 04

  Pretty much.

• 1:32Caleb Hammer?

  Is it actually?

• 1:33Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:34Caleb Hammer?

  What the?

• 1:35Speaker 03

But not, we don't have a show. We didn't.

• 1:37Speaker 04

Yeah, we didn't sign up for it.

• 1:38Speaker 03

We were thinking about it, but we didn't.

• 1:40Caleb Hammer?

When'd you guys get married? I literally had no idea.

• 1:43Speaker 03

  October 18th.

• 1:45Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so just got married essentially?

• 1:47Speaker 03

Yes, but we have three years together already.

• 1:51Speaker 04

November twenty one is when we first met.

• 1:52Caleb Hammer?

Aren't you marrying for good reasons?

• 1:54Speaker 03

Yeah, no, yeah. We met through Instagram be- because of my best friend. They studied together and we started a relationship. This is not a gold digger. That's what my mom-in-law thought, but no, it's not. I swear to God.

• 2:10Caleb Hammer?

Okay. What do you do for a living?

• 2:14Speaker 03

I can't not work. Cause the government say I can't. But I I used to. I I have my career.

• 2:21Caleb Hammer?

Yeah. Well, what was your career?

• 2:22Speaker 03

  Uh, international relations.

• 2:24Caleb Hammer?

  Uh, yeah.

• 2:25Speaker 03

  I'm like customs.

• 2:26Caleb Hammer?

What's the plan to get into work?

• 2:28Speaker 03

  Uh, logistics.

• 2:29Caleb Hammer?

  Okay. Yeah. What's the timeline?

• 2:32Speaker 03

Whenever I have my green card.

• 2:34Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 2:34Speaker 03

I can work. We don't know. It could be six months, a year, two.

• 2:39Speaker 04

It's kind of a long story into that because we have to pay for the process to begin. And for our legal team, that's going to cost about thirty five hundred, thirty five hundred.

• 2:48Caleb Hammer?

Okay. And, okay. And you guys have done up to your eyeball. So obviously that would be kind of. All right. I guess we probably need to hear the story here pretty soon. But what do you do for a living?

• 3:00Speaker 04

Uh, so I'm a order selector for a cooler company. Our major clients are sprouts. So basically what we do is we.

• 3:07Caleb Hammer?

  What do you make?

• 3:08Speaker 04

I make twenty-three fifty an hour.

• 3:10Caleb Hammer?

An hour? Can you support both of you guys on this? How many hours a week do you work?

• 3:15Speaker 04

About forty. I'm coming off the busy season. So. Yeah, we were. I was working about fifty hours a week over the past three months. Right now I'm working about thirty-five to forty.

• 3:25Caleb Hammer?

Assuming paid time off and everything, talking four thousand dollars essentially a month before taxes.

• 3:31Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 3:31Caleb Hammer?

  What hits your account monthly?

• 3:33Speaker 04

Uh, current currently with the forty hours a week, it's about twenty-eight hundred.

• 3:37Caleb Hammer?

Okay, two people, twenty-eight hundred Dallas.

• 3:41Speaker 04

  We're stretching it.

• 3:42Caleb Hammer?

  Well, no, you're deadening.

• 3:43Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 3:44Caleb Hammer?

Uh, uh, not stretching. Let's not think of ourselves as making it.

• 3:50Speaker 04

  Yeah, true.

• 3:51Caleb Hammer?

What was the intention then behind?

• 3:57Caleb Hammer?

What was our plan then? With income, you guys getting married and everything. What was our plan? What did we discuss? What was the hope?

• 4:04Speaker 04

So eventually what we were planning on doing was getting her into her career field. Because with her logistics background, she-

• 4:10Caleb Hammer?

What do you do for the next two years?

• 4:12Speaker 04

Just work towards getting back up in current. Honestly, that's, that's the main goal is getting out of the hole that I dug myself in. Now my wife into.

• 4:20Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, this is all you?

• 4:22Speaker 04

  Pretty much.

• 4:22Caleb Hammer?

So you didn't bring any debt to this table? International or anything?

• 4:26Speaker 03

  Not really.

• 4:27Speaker 04

  Like 300 bucks.

• 4:28Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 4:30Caleb Hammer?

  What's your rent?

• 4:31Speaker 04

  Uh, 1320.

• 4:34Speaker 04

  1320.99.

• 4:35Caleb Hammer?

So we're looking at almost half.

• 4:37Speaker 04

  About half the income, yeah.

• 4:39Caleb Hammer?

  1320.99?

• 4:40Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 4:42Caleb Hammer?

  Whew, okay.

• 4:43Speaker 04

Yeah, it's not the lightest rent.

• 4:45Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so what happened? You guys said story, story, story. Go ahead. This is your time.

• 4:50Speaker 03

So we really didn't have like a timeline. We applied for this visa on August 22nd, 20, yeah, 22? 23, August 23. And we didn't know if we were going to get approved like quick.

• 5:04Caleb Hammer?

You guys actually do like each other?

• 5:06Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 5:07Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, you do love each other?

• 5:08Speaker 04

  We do love each other.

• 5:09Caleb Hammer?

Okay, just want to make sure. Cause I mean, you said like the 90 day fiancees.

• 5:13Speaker 04

You gotta, you gotta clarify with some of these things, but yeah. No, for sure. We, we had enough information between us and the government to be like, you know what? Seems pretty legit.

• 5:21Speaker 03

They ask you for like letters from your family, from your friends that actually is a legit relationship.

• 5:28Caleb Hammer?

  Mm hmm.

• 5:28Speaker 03

So yes, we passed that. And we're, we love each other. I love him.

• 5:33Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, sure.

• 5:35Speaker 03

Why you didn't say that you love me too?

• 5:37Caleb Hammer?

  I love you.

• 5:38Speaker 04

  I'm sorry, I'm, I'm my throat's a little dry.

• 5:40Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 5:41Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 5:42Speaker 04

I was in high school. I was a junior in high school. I met her- Best friend growing up in a passing period. So she uh, she was a grade older than me, so we never actually like had classes together. But what ended up happening was we met during state testing. I don't know if you're familiar.

• 6:02Caleb Hammer?

  No.

• 6:02Speaker 04

  So if you-

• 6:03Caleb Hammer?

  So state testing?

• 6:04Speaker 04

Yeah, so if you pass through all of your like your star testing, stuff like that, then-

• 6:08Caleb Hammer?

  This is all Texas, okay.

• 6:09Speaker 04

Yeah, yeah, sorry. So you get put into a passing period to where like all the other kids that actually have to take the test. They will go into the holding room and that's where I met her best friend. We were playing Uno together and she, and I was kind of just sitting in the corner. I was more, I was more of like a loner. I didn't really want to talk to anybody and she was like, hey, come play Uno. It was like a group of six of us and then we kind of talked and-

• 6:28Caleb Hammer?

You definitely look like a guy that sits in the corner.

• 6:30Speaker 04

  Oh, thank you.

• 6:33Speaker 04

I try, I try, yeah. I mean, I got out of my shell for the most part, but yeah, in that, in that time-

• 6:37Caleb Hammer?

You seem cool, you seem cool.

• 6:38Speaker 04

We talked, she ended up going back to Mexico. And then she told her about me and then that's kind of how we started talking.

• 6:46Speaker 03

It's not what happened. So she posed a story on Instagram, Close Friends, and she was like, um, I'm looking for somebody who wants boyfriends. I was like, oh, well, okay.

• 6:57Caleb Hammer?

I'm looking for someone who wants boyfriends?

• 6:59Speaker 03

If you want a relationship, right? Like if you want a boyfriend from United States.

• 7:03Speaker 04

  Oh.

• 7:04Caleb Hammer?

Calebhammer.com slash apply. That's how you become my girlfriend. Looking for, I'm now looking for wife.

• 7:10Speaker 03

So I just replied and she was like, oh, I was actually thinking about you.

• 7:13Caleb Hammer?

Okay, alright. Well, this is just, this is just lovey dovey backstory, that's fine.

• 7:18Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 7:18Caleb Hammer?

I'm just, I don't really care about that. No offense. Care more about the money. Why are you in debt? What is going on? Your financial security could be at risk and you don't even know it. Here's the scoop. Back in the 2024 national public data breach, over 2.9 billion records were exposed. Names, social security numbers, addresses, phone numbers, the whole nine yards. And what happens when that info gets in the wrong hands? Identity thieves can take out loans in your name, drain your bank accounts, or even mess up your credit. Imagine logging in one day and realizing you're suddenly thousands in debt for stuff you didn't even buy, especially after working so hard to get your finances in order. But if you want to stay protected from financial death, there is hope. And that's where

• 8:03Caleb Hammer?

today's sponsor Aura comes in. Aura is the all-in-one app that protects your identity, finances, and devices. They monitor billions of data points to alert you if your info is exposed, whether it's on the dark web, in-court records, or anywhere it shouldn't be. They even help you lock your Experian credit file with a tap to stop scammers before the damage is done. But it doesn't stop there. Aura helps remove your personal data from those shady people, search sites that sell your info. And with their built-in VPN, they block phishing sites and encrypt your internet connection to keep you safe online. They even have a password manager, so you can make sure your login information is not only strong, but organized all in one

• 8:43Caleb Hammer?

place. Making sure I have the tools to keep my finances and identity protected is non-negotiable. And with Aura, I get this all-in-one app at one affordable price. I'm not leaving myself and my family vulnerable to data breaches and brokers. And if you don't want to either, you can go to aura.com/hammer to try two weeks for free. It'll be enough time for Aura to find out if any of your personal data is exposed. So head to aura.com/hammer, or check out the link in the description below. Thanks to Aura for sponsoring today's video. Let's get back into it.

• 9:12Speaker 04

So I'm a little bit of a failed entrepreneur, I guess you could say. So I, growing up, I always had the idea of like, I'm gonna make generational wealth. I'm gonna make it to where my kids, my grandkids, they don't have to worry about money.

• 9:26Caleb Hammer?

  Okay, I appreciate it.

• 9:27Speaker 04

Yeah, that was, that was the goal ultimately. So I got out of high school, throughout high school, I was working nine to five, 40 hours a week while I was doing full-time school.

• 9:37Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 9:38Speaker 04

And I was in track, so I was...

• 9:40Caleb Hammer?

  Entrepreneurial?

• 9:44Speaker 04

So I went and I was just looking for, originally I wanted to start doing car detailing.

• 9:50Caleb Hammer?

Almost every time on the show, this has happened so many times on the show, car detailing, the people that wanna have their own businesses. This is immediately what they go into.

• 9:58Speaker 04

I mean, I feel like a lot of the YouTube holes you kinda go into, they're like, "Oh, become your own boss, make $500 a day," kinda thing.

• 10:04Caleb Hammer?

See, I more see you 3D printing AR-15s, but...

• 10:08Speaker 04

Oh yeah? I mean, there's money in that too.

• 10:10Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 10:10Speaker 04

There's a lot of money in that. I actually watched a couple podcasts on that, but we'll disregard.

• 10:15Caleb Hammer?

  Go on, Mr. Car Wash?

• 10:17Speaker 04

I eventually ended up going into more of like a, "Hey, how about pressure washing?" Because I seen that I could do the auto detailing.

• 10:24Caleb Hammer?

Another one, that constantly happens. You go down the rabbit holes, the little self entrepreneur.

• 10:29Speaker 04

The side hustle, make $500 a day kinda thing. So I, I seen that and I was like, "Yeah, you know, I see a lot of upside to this. There's a lot of people, obviously, in DFW." I mean, over the past four years, I think it's basically four X'd in the population.

• 10:43Caleb Hammer?

  Sure.

• 10:43Speaker 04

Between people that are moving from California, Illinois, stuff like that. So I, uh, I seen that, I was like, "Oh yeah, there's a lot of people that are gonna want their houses cleaned since they're older and they're getting bought up by these richer people." So I went into it, I invested, I got a, I got a loan for...

• 10:58Caleb Hammer?

A loan? Why'd you go loan?

• 10:59Speaker 04

I didn't have the capital at the time.

• 11:01Caleb Hammer?

  What did you need?

• 11:03Speaker 04

I needed, well, I needed to buy a pressure washer at first.

• 11:05Caleb Hammer?

What's the money amount? What did you need?

• 11:07Speaker 04

  Uh...

• 11:07Caleb Hammer?

How much is a pressure washer?

• 11:08Speaker 04

  So, I kind of...

• 11:10Caleb Hammer?

How much is a pressure washer?

• 11:11Speaker 04

The pressure washer was about a thousand.

• 11:14Caleb Hammer?

You could have cash flowed a thousand!

• 11:18Speaker 04

  So, I, yeah.

• 11:18Caleb Hammer?

You could've saved up and grind a little.

• 11:21Speaker 04

I had, so I had the money at the time.

• 11:23Caleb Hammer?

What the fuck are you talking about? I couldn't fund it!

• 11:25Speaker 04

So, it was, it was kind of a weird...

• 11:29Speaker 03

Tell him it's not one pressure washer.

• 11:31Speaker 04

So I do have multiple pressure washers.

• 11:33Caleb Hammer?

  Now, today?

• 11:34Speaker 03

Tell him that you don't use them. Tell him.

• 11:37Speaker 04

  Okay.

• 11:37Caleb Hammer?

I don't think she likes the pressure washers.

• 11:39Speaker 04

No, well, she just doesn't like the fact that they're not being used the way that they should be.

• 11:43Caleb Hammer?

  How are they being used?

• 11:44Speaker 04

  They're not being used.

• 11:46Speaker 03

He bought something from Facebook Marketplace and said that it was new. Okay, he hasn't used it since he got it.

• 11:53Caleb Hammer?

  A pressure washer?

• 11:54Speaker 03

  Yeah, a big ass.

• 11:55Caleb Hammer?

How many pressure washers are you buying?

• 11:56Speaker 04

So I have two pressure washers. I have one that's smaller, it's a, I mean, people that know pressure washers, it's four gallon per minute.

• 12:01Caleb Hammer?

Are you still trying this thing?

• 12:02Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 12:03Caleb Hammer?

Well, no, you're not. You're not using them.

• 12:04Speaker 04

Not currently, yeah, because, I mean, I'm trying it, I'm trying it, but I just...

• 12:09Caleb Hammer?

But you're not using them, so you're not trying it.

• 12:10Speaker 04

I'm not using them currently, yeah. So

• 12:12Caleb Hammer?

What the fuck are you talking about? Okay.

• 12:15Speaker 04

So I have the pressure washers. I did a lot of preemptive buying. I took the loan money. I did a lot of preemptive buying.

• 12:21Caleb Hammer?

  How much did you borrow?

• 12:22Speaker 04

I borrowed, well, I got a, I got approved for a credit card for 10,000.

• 12:27Caleb Hammer?

Wasn't even like a small business loan or a personal loan?

• 12:29Speaker 04

No, it was, it was a credit card.

• 12:30Caleb Hammer?

10,000? Okay. And then what did you put on this 10,000 credit card?

• 12:35Speaker 04

Uh, the 10,000. So they had a, they had a deal.

• 12:37Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, 10,000.

• 12:38Speaker 04

They had, they had a deal where if you spend 10,000 within the first three months, they'll give you a thousand dollar reimbursement.

• 12:43Caleb Hammer?

Which if you're doing some credit card training can be good if you pay it off.

• 12:46Speaker 04

If I had, if I had the anticipation, I was planning on being able to pay it off within the first six months. Obviously, it didn't work out that way, but I thought that with my work ethic, I would be able to turn over 10,000 easy. And especially with all the YouTube holes.

• 13:02Caleb Hammer?

Why? What is so confident in this? Every single person that goes down these rabbit holes like you, and it is not bad to have a side hustle. It is not bad to be entrepreneurial. But every single person that goes down these rabbit holes are just beyond, beyond confident that they are gonna make so much money. They don't even think about the now. They're just like, I'm gonna make it. It's gonna happen. Get on the fucking grind set.

• 13:30Speaker 04

  Got you.

• 13:31Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, your grind set has led to just endless debt.

• 13:34Speaker 04

Yeah, that was, I mean, yeah, the hindsight of it was, was obviously horrible, but I, I jumped into it with good intentions and I still do have good intentions.

• 13:43Caleb Hammer?

Good intent, you're, you're washing off dirt. I mean, okay, well, I guess that's a noble thing, but.

• 13:50Speaker 04

Yeah, I mean, well, obviously people want to get their houses cleaned.

• 13:53Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, there's also a thousand other pressure washers. What's your business strategy that makes you unique?

• 13:57Speaker 04

Yeah, being a little bit cheaper, more available. Yeah, being a little bit cheaper, more available. That was kind of my.

• 14:02Caleb Hammer?

You think other people aren't available? You think the price market out there isn't competitive?

• 14:06Speaker 04

It is pretty competitive. I, I thought that it wasn't as competitive as it actually is, but then I used the rest of it to get into window cleaning as well. And that is actually what I've seen most of my ROI from.

• 14:16Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 14:17Speaker 04

So I do the water fed.

• 14:18Caleb Hammer?

What income can I calculate for all this?

• 14:22Speaker 04

Well, it's not really, it's not really a set.

• 14:24Caleb Hammer?

Okay, what do you think about this? Cause I see you just sitting there just like.

• 14:27Speaker 04

She's just kinda stewing on it.

• 14:28Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, what do you think about this whole thing?

• 14:30Speaker 03

I mean, I help him doing it. I, I see.

• 14:32Caleb Hammer?

  What, wash windows?

• 14:33Speaker 03

  Yeah, I see future, but.

• 14:35Speaker 04

  There's a couple.

• 14:36Speaker 03

He doesn't have the time to do it. Like he works, what, from, you just don't work Thursday and Saturday.

• 14:43Speaker 04

Yeah, I'm off Thursday. I work five days a week.

• 14:45Speaker 03

And you are not doing it. So he's not working on it.

• 14:50Caleb Hammer?

  Why, why, why, why?

• 14:52Speaker 04

  Why?

• 14:53Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, why?

• 14:53Speaker 04

I was working so much that I didn't have time for her necessarily.

• 14:57Caleb Hammer?

Oh, you guys are in the honeymoon stage. Anyway, you could do anything and it doesn't matter.

• 15:00Speaker 04

But I mean, it, it just.

• 15:01Caleb Hammer?

Okay, well, what's your thought on that? The, was it too much?

• 15:04Speaker 03

  It was.

• 15:05Caleb Hammer?

Okay, then what? You want him to go work those extra things?

• 15:09Speaker 03

He got home and he was just like not doing anything.

• 15:12Speaker 04

I was, I was beat. I was beat.

• 15:14Speaker 03

And I had to take care of the house, like cleaning and I, I still do.

• 15:18Caleb Hammer?

  Well, you're not working.

• 15:19Speaker 03

Yeah, I'm not and I, I am bored, but.

• 15:22Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, I would be too. I get it.

• 15:24Speaker 03

He got so tired. He was super stressed. We, we had problems because he was just too stressed and he, well, like he couldn't focus on stuff. Cause he was.

• 15:34Caleb Hammer?

  He couldn't.

• 15:36Speaker 04

  Focus, focus, not.

• 15:37Caleb Hammer?

  Oh. Good.

• 15:39Speaker 04

Yeah, hopefully, yeah, hopefully that doesn't go anywhere.

• 15:42Caleb Hammer?

Well, that's you guys. I'm not, I'm not judging. It happens. Okay.

• 15:47Speaker 03

  Then he got scammed.

• 15:49Speaker 04

  I did get scammed.

• 15:50Speaker 03

  Money.

• 15:50Speaker 04

I got scammed, uh, pretty early on into my, my pressure washing business venture. So I had signed up for a leads service. That's where a majority of my, my clients were coming from. Yeah.

• 16:02Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, sure.

• 16:03Speaker 04

So Angie was pretty, I guess you could say predatory whenever it came to like, oh, hey.

• 16:07Caleb Hammer?

  Angie's list?

• 16:08Speaker 04

  Angie's list, yeah.

• 16:09Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 16:10Speaker 04

So I got on, they were like, hey, we'll sign you up for a, if you don't want to pay for the annual or the lifetime subscription. It's going to be two fifty a year and then you don't get leads. But if you want to sign up for a lifetime, it's. I think it was 7.99 and then they'll give you a free thousand dollars worth of leads.

• 16:26Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 16:27Speaker 04

So in retrospect, I had the money at the time. I was like, yeah, let's do that.

• 16:29Caleb Hammer?

Yeah. Well, you mean the credit card?

• 16:31Speaker 04

The, yes, the credit card. I had the credit card.

• 16:33Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 16:34Speaker 04

I had the credit card available. I had to spend 10,000. In my mind, I was like, yeah, let's spend 10 Gs. Let's, let's make it quick.

• 16:39Caleb Hammer?

Oh, the credit card companies have, they've won, man. They won.

• 16:44Speaker 04

They beat the system. Honestly, they've got everybody just like in a loophole.

• 16:47Caleb Hammer?

  You!

• 16:48Speaker 04

  Especially us, yes.

• 16:48Caleb Hammer?

  You!

• 16:49Speaker 04

And a majority of the leads weren't actual leads. They were fake people. They were using fake info. They were providing fake addresses and they were saying, hey, come to this address and do this. I would go out there. It's like a beater.

• 17:01Caleb Hammer?

What are they getting from that?

• 17:02Speaker 04

It's a trash house. So, so the guy says, hey, I want you to come, I'm moving into Dallas, uh, in a month. I want you to go check out this house. Give me a quote for how much it would cost to clean up the whole house. It'll be 8.50 to clean the whole house. He's like, okay, uh, so I'm not going to be in, in a, in a while. I'm going to send you a check. So I get the check. But in the, in the check, he also provided an amount for his electrician. Because he said, obviously I'm not going to be there. I'm going to put your pay and his pay into one check.

• 17:29Caleb Hammer?

  That doesn't make sense.

• 17:30Speaker 04

It doesn't. In the, in the, in the moment, I was like, okay, sure, whatever.

• 17:34Caleb Hammer?

What? Why? How would that even possibly make sense to you? That's, that seems like, I mean, you sell. Beyond easily.

• 17:44Speaker 04

I sell. I didn't understand checks at the time. I've never, I've literally in the, in the new age, I've never.

• 17:48Caleb Hammer?

  They are pretty just.

• 17:49Speaker 04

It's outdated. It's outdated and I've never, and being like.

• 17:52Caleb Hammer?

Okay. So what? You did the work and the?

• 17:54Speaker 04

So I didn't even do the work. I got the check. He was like, okay, go ahead and send the money, the rest of the money to the electrician because.

• 18:00Caleb Hammer?

Oh, no, you dumb. I'm sorry. I shouldn't.

• 18:03Speaker 04

  You're good.

• 18:04Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, but that, no.

• 18:05Speaker 04

  It's, it's stupid.

• 18:06Caleb Hammer?

That is what a 90 year old falls for, dude.

• 18:08Speaker 04

I know, and the check cleared.

• 18:10Caleb Hammer?

  Oh!

• 18:10Speaker 04

  The check cleared in the.

• 18:12Caleb Hammer?

King from Africa, you're sending money to next?

• 18:14Speaker 04

Exactly. It was a, it was an African prince. The African prince got me. And he, he was like, look, just send the money to this, to him through this crypto wallet. And I was like, okay, cool. Let's do it. And because the check cleared and I.

• 18:26Caleb Hammer?

Through a crypto wallet and that wasn't a red flag?

• 18:29Speaker 04

  Look.

• 18:29Caleb Hammer?

  Guy, how?

• 18:30Speaker 04

  There was nothing.

• 18:30Caleb Hammer?

  How old were you?

• 18:32Speaker 04

There was nothing but red flags the whole time.

• 18:33Caleb Hammer?

  How old were you?

• 18:35Speaker 04

I was 20 at the time.

• 18:36Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, you were.

• 18:37Speaker 04

  So I just, I didn't.

• 18:37Caleb Hammer?

You were not young enough to be that naive. That's crazy, guy.

• 18:41Speaker 04

In the time I seen the 4K hit my account, I was like, oh yeah, well, it's my money now. I was like, okay, cool. I got four Gs in my account. This is fine. And then, obviously, the check bounced. I had already sent a thousand to the crypto wallet. Originally, I was supposed to send 3,000. But I was like, you know what? Let me wait until the date of the job to send you the rest. And then the check bounced. I said, what the? What the? And then, he was like, you still need to send the rest of the money. My bank manager will figure it out. And, yeah, that's how.

• 19:14Caleb Hammer?

  Did you?

• 19:15Speaker 04

No. No, it was only the thousand. I got privy to it, unfortunately.

• 19:20Caleb Hammer?

  Dude, you're crazy.

• 19:20Speaker 04

Dude, it rocked my world. It sucked.

• 19:24Caleb Hammer?

  I can't.

• 19:25Speaker 04

  It sucked.

• 19:25Caleb Hammer?

Unfortunately, I don't have any kind of connections that could get you leads. I can give you one of our partner stand stores so you can get a better storefront for your business.

• 19:33Speaker 04

  Okay.

• 19:34Caleb Hammer?

That's pretty cool. We've used them. They're pretty good. So I'll get you connected with them.

• 19:38Speaker 04

Yeah, so I've watched a couple of the episodes and you mentioned, I think you were talking to somebody about a Turo. Like, he had a car that he was putting on Turo. So, you spoke to, you were speaking on an app called Thumbtack?

• 19:49Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, yeah.

• 19:50Speaker 04

So, yeah, I started using Thumbtack, and that's where a majority of my business was coming from.

• 19:54Caleb Hammer?

  Was. Now, where's your business?

• 19:56Speaker 04

I don't have any real, well, I have time. It's just that I haven't really been putting the effort that I should have been into it. I've been putting more into the.

• 20:03Caleb Hammer?

Alright, so you got some overtime paying and 5,599 came in through payroll, so that's good.

• 20:08Speaker 04

  It was, it was nice.

• 20:09Caleb Hammer?

  Usually, it's 2,850, though.

• 20:11Speaker 04

Yeah, now that we're back into like the slow season, yeah.

• 20:14Caleb Hammer?

Well, you're giving face towards them, what?

• 20:16Speaker 03

  Nothing.

• 20:17Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, okay.

• 20:18Speaker 04

  She's just into it.

• 20:20Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 20:21Speaker 04

  Feeding in.

• 20:22Caleb Hammer?

  Huh?

• 20:23Speaker 04

She's just tapped in. She's locked in.

• 20:25Caleb Hammer?

How much do you think you spent?

• 20:26Speaker 04

How much do I think I spent?

• 20:27Caleb Hammer?

How much do you think you spent? Again, 5,599 came in. Usually, it's 2,850. How much do you think was spent?

• 20:36Speaker 03

  Eleven.

• 20:37Caleb Hammer?

How much do you think was spent?

• 20:38Speaker 03

  I'm gonna say the 5,000.

• 20:41Speaker 04

  I'd say about the same.

• 20:42Caleb Hammer?

Okay. Six thousand four hundred ninety seven. So I don't know what the you guys are talking about. You don't even know. You guys are married? Do you have access to the finances? Do you know anything about the finances? Where do you think your guys' finances at? Because you guys are combined. You guys are married.

• 20:55Speaker 03

Yeah, I know. Uh, I don't have access. I don't have the app in my phone, but.

• 20:59Caleb Hammer?

  App, okay.

• 21:00Speaker 03

I know. I, yeah, I mean, we sit, he talks to me. He said, look, this is.

• 21:06Caleb Hammer?

Does he talk to you or does he talk at you?

• 21:08Speaker 03

  He talks with me.

• 21:10Caleb Hammer?

So he does? He leads you through it?

• 21:11Speaker 03

  Mm hmm.

• 21:12Speaker 04

Yeah, I'm not. I'm not giving her the runaround saying like, oh, we're, we're.

• 21:15Caleb Hammer?

How much you understand about the numbers?

• 21:17Speaker 03

It's a pretty different system, like.

• 21:19Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but what do you think your household finances are at today?

• 21:23Speaker 03

Uh-uh, they're not good. Sometimes we cannot even pay.

• 21:25Caleb Hammer?

Explain it to me. What? You can't pay? Pay what?

• 21:28Speaker 03

So we got an eviction notice.

• 21:30Caleb Hammer?

Oh, oh, good, good, absolute. Who knows? It's like fifty percent of your damn income.

• 21:36Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 21:36Caleb Hammer?

  An eviction notice?

• 21:38Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 21:38Caleb Hammer?

So how, how many months were we not paying?

• 21:41Speaker 04

No, we pay, we pay. We're, we're current. We're, the only, the only reason why we got the eviction. Yeah. See, the only reason we got the.

• 21:47Caleb Hammer?

Why are you late on rent?

• 21:49Speaker 04

  So, yeah, I mean.

• 21:51Caleb Hammer?

You don't get to quit the other jobs if you're late on rent. I don't care if it means you're not able to get up, man. You just, you have to be able to pay rent, roof of the house, or break that lease. I know it's expensive. And then move to somewhere cheaper, which I know you can, just a little tighter.

• 22:08Speaker 04

We can move, yeah, we can move to the ghetto, you know? It's not like it's that.

• 22:10Caleb Hammer?

Not just the ghetto. You can have something smaller. What's your, what's your apartment size like?

• 22:14Speaker 04

  We're not even that big.

• 22:15Caleb Hammer?

  What's your apartment like?

• 22:16Speaker 04

It's like six, it's a one bedroom, one bath. It's not an efficiency, but it's, uh, six hundred and sixty four square feet.

• 22:22Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 22:22Speaker 04

  So it's already relatively small. It's just a, it's a very good, it's a decent location.

• 22:26Caleb Hammer?

Now, it's very good. You were correct when you said that. You, your brain was correct.

• 22:34Speaker 04

For, for the access, it's pretty close to the highways. So like getting to and from locations, I can just zip.

• 22:42Caleb Hammer?

  Okay.

• 22:42Speaker 03

Then we had a, um, storage unit that it was too expensive and too little.

• 22:47Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 22:47Speaker 03

  Cause all of his.

• 22:48Caleb Hammer?

She's outing out all your dumbassery.

• 22:51Speaker 04

I mean, that's why, so that's why it's your four.

• 22:56Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 22:57Caleb Hammer?

  That would have got citizenship.

• 22:58Speaker 03

  Um, so he was spending.

• 23:01Speaker 04

I don't know about that one.

• 23:02Caleb Hammer?

  I'm kidding. Go on.

• 23:05Speaker 03

So he was spending like, what, almost 200 on the storage unit?

• 23:09Caleb Hammer?

  Man, you just don't have.

• 23:10Speaker 03

And it was a ten by ten.

• 23:12Speaker 04

It was a ten by ten. It was a, so I, I had signed up for.

• 23:14Caleb Hammer?

You already don't know that you spent a thousand five hundred dollars more than you made on a great month, a thousand dollars.

• 23:20Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 23:20Caleb Hammer?

But in reality, it's double, double, more than double on a normal month of your income. In fact, I see you had to pull from a brokerage. Yeah, if we're pulling from a brokerage.

• 23:34Speaker 04

  Traditional IRA.

• 23:35Caleb Hammer?

We're being stupid. From an IRA, you pulled from a tax advantage account? Good.

• 23:40Speaker 03

But we need to talk about the snakes, though.

• 23:43Caleb Hammer?

  What?

• 23:45Speaker 03

Do you want to tell him?

• 23:46Speaker 04

Uh, yeah, I'll go ahead and do it.

• 23:48Caleb Hammer?

This is so many, you know, waking.

• 23:49Speaker 04

  So, yeah, yeah, so.

• 23:50Caleb Hammer?

Go on, let's just keep learning.

• 23:51Speaker 04

  What? Show chichis?

• 24:54Caleb Hammer?

I know. What? What are you saying to me?

• 24:56Speaker 04

I purchased a ball of pythons in the, in, in the intention of breeding and selling.

• 25:03Caleb Hammer?

The are you even on what drugs do you take?

• 25:07Speaker 04

  Dude.

• 25:07Caleb Hammer?

Who even thinks about this? What rabbit hole do you have to fall down to get that one?

• 25:11Speaker 04

So I had a buddy of mine, well, still friend, we're still friends. Uh, he has, he's a very, he's very invested into the ball python industry. He's, he's got a decent.

• 25:22Caleb Hammer?

Who the is buying ball pythons?

• 25:24Speaker 04

  He is.

• 25:25Speaker 03

  Him.

• 25:25Speaker 04

  And me now. Yes.

• 25:27Speaker 03

  Him.

• 25:28Caleb Hammer?

So really it's like a ball python.

• 25:31Speaker 00

• 26:00Caleb Hammer?

Pyramid scheme, you get breeded python so that you convince other fucking ball python potential breeders to make more money. You just sell them, you breed and sell to them so that they can breed and sell to other people. It's a fucking ball python pyramid.

• 26:15Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 26:15Speaker 03

Call me one time, right? And he was like.

• 26:17Caleb Hammer?

  Buying a ball python?

• 26:18Speaker 03

He was like, look, I have this, um, business, whatever. I was like, don't do it. He did it. He didn't give a about what I said. This is our marriage and you didn't give a about what I said.

• 26:30Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, listen to your sassy Mexican.

• 26:32Speaker 03

Situation because you spend a lot of fucking money on fucking snakes?

• 26:36Caleb Hammer?

  Woo.

• 26:37Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 26:39Speaker 03

And they're not even given any kids yet.

• 26:42Speaker 04

Yeah, there hasn't, there hasn't been anything back from it yet.

• 26:44Speaker 03

  Babies.

• 26:45Caleb Hammer?

  You guys?

• 26:46Speaker 03

  No, no, the snakes.

• 26:47Speaker 04

  The snakes, yeah.

• 26:48Speaker 03

  No, no, no, no.

• 26:48Speaker 04

  So I bought them.

• 26:49Caleb Hammer?

  They're not, they're not.

• 26:50Speaker 04

No, they're not producing yet, so I have.

• 26:51Caleb Hammer?

Are you sure you have the correct genders necessary for reproduction?

• 26:54Speaker 04

  Yes, yes.

• 26:55Caleb Hammer?

  How many?

• 26:56Speaker 04

  So I have ten currently.

• 26:58Caleb Hammer?

How you, how much was all these?

• 27:00Speaker 03

  Seven thousand dollars.

• 27:02Speaker 04

  Seven thousand.

• 27:02Speaker 03

  Seven thousand dollars.

• 27:05Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 27:06Speaker 03

  And nine, nine snakes.

• 27:09Caleb Hammer?

When's you, when? When, when, when possibly, when possibly did you? What? This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my, when did you possibly do this?

• 27:19Speaker 04

Probably about a year, a year ago.

• 27:22Caleb Hammer?

Why'd you continue with this marriage with someone that would do that?

• 27:26Speaker 03

I mean, at the end of the day, I was not living with him. I was still doing my own money. I was like, okay, okay, go do whatever you want to do.

• 27:34Caleb Hammer?

Love him, but can you be with someone that does that on a quarterly basis?

• 27:39Speaker 03

  I mean, I think that.

• 27:41Caleb Hammer?

And now they're just sitting there slithering around and not banging?

• 27:44Speaker 04

So they, my, my male was smaller at the time. He wasn't, he's probably about that big. Now he's about this big. So he's ready to breed. And he has been breeding with some of my, my friends females.

• 27:54Speaker 03

  Have you sailed any?

• 27:54Caleb Hammer?

  What's wrong with yours?

• 27:55Speaker 03

  Have you sailed any?

• 27:56Speaker 04

They're not, they're not big enough yet. They have to be.

• 27:58Caleb Hammer?

Why would you get small ones?

• 28:00Speaker 04

So their, their genes correlate to dollar amounts. So I purchased high, higher quality snakes that were smaller.

• 28:08Caleb Hammer?

  Who's gonna buy them?

• 28:10Speaker 04

It would be other breeders that have.

• 28:12Caleb Hammer?

  It is a pyramid scheme.

• 28:13Speaker 04

Pretty much. It's just, it's just, it's just, it's just other, it's other.

• 28:17Caleb Hammer?

Do you even know the other breeders? You know the breeder that gives it to you? And he uses your snake nut?

• 28:24Speaker 04

  Yeah, pretty much.

• 28:26Speaker 04

He's, he's in the, he's in the loop. He knows, he knows other like higher.

• 28:30Caleb Hammer?

In the loop? Dude, he pyramid sold you. He recruited you.

• 28:34Speaker 03

  He lives in Florida.

• 28:35Speaker 04

He didn't, he didn't move to Florida.

• 28:40Caleb Hammer?

I don't even know what to do with that. Why don't you just sell them and get out of it?

• 28:44Speaker 03

I told him to do it.

• 28:45Speaker 04

I would only, I would only get about half of.

• 28:48Caleb Hammer?

  Why?

• 28:49Speaker 03

  Better than nothing.

• 28:50Speaker 04

Their genes have depreciated in value. They, it's been a depreciating asset, yes.

• 28:55Caleb Hammer?

Oh my, how do you even know?

• 28:58Speaker 04

I, I checked the, I checked the market. I see like what genes that might.

• 29:01Caleb Hammer?

  Market, just like the.

• 29:03Speaker 04

There's an app, there's an app that we're nationally trade.

• 29:05Speaker 03

  So you lied to me.

• 29:07Speaker 04

  So what?

• 29:07Caleb Hammer?

  You're day trading snake nut.

• 29:09Speaker 03

You lied to me. You told me that you made your research, that everything was going to be okay. Now right now you're saying that they decrease?

• 29:15Speaker 04

They, they have, they have depreciated.

• 29:16Caleb Hammer?

  Guy, you're a, I don't even know. You're just, but.

• 29:22Speaker 04

  I've dug, I've dug a.

• 29:23Caleb Hammer?

No offense, you're not starting businesses. Your entrepreneurial mindset isn't starting businesses. You just try to go down every little get rich quick scheme. That's what you are. You are attracted to whatever next get rich thing someone's gonna point at you. You are going to take it. This is what you do. You're not a business owner.

• 29:44Speaker 04

This is what I've been doing. Yes.

• 29:45Speaker 03

I just, I really think that you just did it because your friend has like more than $4,000 in like snakes. That's why.

• 29:52Speaker 04

It seemed, it seemed like it was, it seemed like it was.

• 29:53Speaker 03

  Forty thousand dollars.

• 29:54Caleb Hammer?

Did you buy from that guy? Right?

• 29:56Speaker 04

No, I purchased, I purchased from other breeders, not from him.

• 30:00Caleb Hammer?

And now you have an depreciating.

• 30:02Speaker 04

  Yeah, they are depreciating assets.

• 30:05Caleb Hammer?

Even though they're closer to breeding.

• 30:07Speaker 04

They are closer to breeding. So now if I, if.

• 30:09Caleb Hammer?

  What's a, what's a little baby worth that you'd sell?

• 30:13Speaker 04

Um, with, with my, with my males that I, with my male that I have right now and my females, whenever they're all ready to breed, I could have anywhere between 40 to 50 eggs a year and each one minimum would be $400. Maximum could be anywhere between five to 10, depending on if they get the correct genes.

• 30:34Caleb Hammer?

But it's only gonna go to other breeders.

• 30:36Speaker 04

Or someone that's looking for pets. I mean, it's not, granted, the, the pet market mostly goes to like Petco or Pets.

• 30:42Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 30:42Speaker 04

Yeah. And they're looking for just those little.

• 30:44Caleb Hammer?

And you're not competing with them.

• 30:46Speaker 04

  Yeah. I mean, I could.

• 30:47Caleb Hammer?

  You're not going to.

• 30:48Speaker 04

I could sell to the, um, to the pet stores, but it wouldn't be for probably about like a hundred bucks. A normal, a normal bi python right now, like just standard skin is $40, 40, 50 bucks. But that's not the ones that I have. Minor, minor pie, desert ghosts, just different, different gene types.

• 31:09Caleb Hammer?

This is so stupid. This is beyond stupid. All right, guys, I just need to see self-assess and then we need to get into these numbers. Self-assess, I'm gonna go three, two, one, go on go. I want you both at the same exact time to give me what you think your household financial score is. Zero being the worst, 10 being the best. What do you think it is?

• 31:29Speaker 04

  Household financial score?

• 31:30Caleb Hammer?

Yeah. Zero being the worst, 10 being the best. Three, two, one.

• 31:35Speaker 04

  One.

• 31:35Speaker 03

  Three?

• 31:38Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, she loves that number.

• 31:41Caleb Hammer?

  Okay. Why?

• 31:42Speaker 04

  I'll take it.

• 31:43Speaker 03

  I mean.

• 31:44Caleb Hammer?

  Explain?

• 31:45Speaker 03

  I mean, I don't, I don't go to work, so I, I'm okay at the house.

• 31:50Caleb Hammer?

You got an eviction notice and you guys are spending more than double what you normally make on a monthly basis. And the dude has fucking snakes slithering around trying to make that as his pyramid scheme.

• 32:02Caleb Hammer?

If you guys want your financial score, take the quiz, it's free, it's fun to see where you stand, the link in the description below. If you guys want to come on the show as well and you're breeding snakes or whatever you're doing, man, come on the show, calebhammer.com/apply. I'm curious, I may as well just ask this because I mean, people always ask out there about the process for coming on the show.

• 32:24Speaker 04

  Okay.

• 32:25Caleb Hammer?

I'm yelling at you, I'm making fun of you, please tell us for people considering coming on the show. Were you made fully aware of everything that was gonna happen here?

• 32:34Speaker 04

I've seen episodes, we've seen episodes, we knew what we were getting into.

• 32:37Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 32:38Speaker 04

And, I mean, we're just looking for guidance, we're looking for what we can do and how we can get out of the hole.

• 32:43Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, so you guys fully understand what you're getting into and the onboarding process was good?

• 32:48Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 32:48Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so you can tell people to stop being offended on behalf of other people that aren't actually offended?

• 32:53Speaker 04

I, I applied on Facebook Marketplace, if that says anything to anybody, so I mean, look.

• 32:59Caleb Hammer?

  Man.

• 32:59Speaker 04

Look, I mean, it's not, it's not that hard of a process, and if you have a good enough story, by all means, Caleb's gonna yell at you a little bit, but you'll be alright.

• 33:07Caleb Hammer?

Okay. This is a huge credit card balance, Chase Freedom Card, so these are all in your name?

• 33:12Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 33:13Caleb Hammer?

So on here, we're sitting at $3,581, Chase Freedom, 44 cents. Huh?

• 33:20Speaker 04

Chase Freedom Unlimited, yeah, that's the, that's our, that's our personal credit card.

• 33:23Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, so what the is this? This is a card that is accruing interest, but yet with the money that you put on it, you immediately put back on. The money that you pay, you immediately spend, why? Why leave the balance honestly going up because the interest makes it go up? Why, you're already at the credit limit, why would you put yourself over the credit limit? Why are we spending, wha, why would we spend money on a card that we cannot fully fail off? That is accruing interest, but not only that, why do you push it to where the interest would push it to above the credit limit? Why is that an action and a choice that we are doing? Do you guys want to have kids?

• 34:06Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 34:06Caleb Hammer?

Okay, good, so we probably shouldn't be pushing our credit cards to above a credit limit.

• 34:11Speaker 04

In my, in my mindset, I'm thinking.

• 34:13Caleb Hammer?

In your mi- your mindset has to be.

• 34:16Speaker 04

It's in the toilet, for sure. My mindset is not the best right now, as far as the financial hole that I've dug.

• 34:21Caleb Hammer?

And if you're recognizing that, then why wouldn't you fix it?

• 34:24Speaker 04

So right now, um, I mean, yes, we're, we're fixing it. We're in the process of attempting to fix.

• 34:28Caleb Hammer?

It is, uh, you purchased and went over the credit limit?

• 34:31Speaker 04

If I'm spending the money, I might as well get some points off of it.

• 34:34Caleb Hammer?

Your points? What points you getting? Point two? Like, two points?

• 34:38Speaker 04

It's better than zero on a debit card.

• 34:39Caleb Hammer?

No, it's not, because you're not getting any interest on a debit card, are you stupid?

• 34:45Caleb Hammer?

  No, huh?

• 34:46Speaker 04

The interest is still gonna re-hit. Like, if I don't.

• 34:48Caleb Hammer?

Yes, but on a lower balance, if you're spending on a debit card. You're essentially lowering your interest from thirty to twenty-eight percent, because you're getting two percent cash back if you're even getting that. If you're lucky, cool. Or, you can pay the balance down further and have thirty percent on a lower balance, which would be better for you. And not get two percent on your debit card purchases.

• 35:13Caleb Hammer?

Fuck my glasses, you know that math works?

• 35:16Speaker 04

I don't know, I, I would rather have, I don't know, that, that was, that was just bad, it was bad thinking, honestly.

• 35:25Caleb Hammer?

You're not just thinking, you're endlessly doing it, man.

• 35:29Speaker 04

I was thinking of the points, that's what it was.

• 35:31Caleb Hammer?

It was accruing eighty-two dollars in interest, you are above the fucking credit limit by eighty-one dollars. Your minimum payment is an insane one hundred eighteen dollars, insane for you, for someone who had the fucking little air-conditioned. Special little storage unit, for someone who has rent they can't afford, for someone who goes thousands of dollars in debt for depreciating snakes.

• 35:54Caleb Hammer?

You cannot purchase on here, close the account. If you're obsessed with the debit version, you can do the fizz card.

• 36:08Speaker 00

• 36:32Caleb Hammer?

I like everyone that I recommend on the show.

• 36:34Speaker 04

  Okay.

• 36:35Caleb Hammer?

Debit card that builds credit, gets you rewards, but at least it's a debit card. This is insane, dude. You do not have any wiggle room.

• 36:47Speaker 04

  No.

• 36:47Caleb Hammer?

Any wiggle room to add a minimum deposit payment into your shit.

• 36:51Speaker 04

  It's tight. It's very tight.

• 36:54Speaker 03

  And then the truck happened.

• 36:56Caleb Hammer?

This girl, like, she's just bottling up all your shit.

• 36:59Speaker 04

  Look, I mean, yeah.

• 37:01Caleb Hammer?

Out. She's just, how, she just.

• 37:02Speaker 04

I mean, this is, this is, this is the, this is her version of, I mean, look, we came on the show, we need to figure some shit. And this is her avenue of get, letting it all out. Cause I know, I know that it's been fucking with her.

• 37:14Speaker 03

What are you talking about? I told you every day about the truck. You made a bad decision. I can tell you here, I can tell you in the house. I don't care. It's a bad decision.

• 37:23Speaker 04

It's been bad decision after bad decision after bad decision.

• 37:25Speaker 03

And I told you, but you again, didn't give a fuck.

• 37:29Caleb Hammer?

Well, why don't you listen to her? It sounds like she brings up for every topic.

• 37:33Speaker 04

  I'm, so.

• 37:35Caleb Hammer?

  How do these conversations go?

• 37:37Speaker 03

  Bad.

• 37:37Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, go on, go on.

• 37:38Speaker 03

He's just like, okay, yes, I listen. Okay, yes. And then he goes to bed and then he wakes up and he's like, I didn't hear it. I'm gonna do whatever I want to do.

• 37:48Caleb Hammer?

That wouldn't mean a long marriage is going to happen with that attitude?

• 37:54Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 37:57Speaker 04

Not wrong. I need to fix it. This is something that I need to fix.

• 38:00Caleb Hammer?

I'm sorry, but that's just the way that everyone gets out when they consistently do bad things forever and then they get confronted, yeah, I'm gonna fix it. Like, you sound like you're trying, you're saying something where you're acknowledging it, but it's not that. That's just what every person does that tries to get out of something and then they continue down the same path forever. This is huge for Financial Audit. • 39:23Speaker 03

He's not a bad husband. He's the love of my life, but I just want him to, like, take the right decisions. And if I am telling him, like, not do something...

• 39:34Caleb Hammer?

Why don't you listen to her?

• 39:35Speaker 04

I do listen to her, it's just...

• 39:37Caleb Hammer?

No, not in these situations, obviously. So try, put yourself in the shoes when you did not listen to her, why?

• 39:42Speaker 04

Why? I, I thought I knew better. I thought that I had the blueprint and that I was gonna make everything work out. Everything was gonna be happy.

• 39:50Speaker 03

Why you always say that? You said that with the snakes, now you're saying that with the truck. What's gonna be next?

• 39:58Speaker 04

There should, I, I don't want there to be a next. I don't want there to be something to where we have to continue down this road.

• 40:03Speaker 03

And what, what are we doing to not have a next one?

• 40:06Speaker 04

To not have a next one? By now, thankfully that the truck is in the process of getting fixed.

• 40:11Speaker 03

  In the process.

• 40:13Caleb Hammer?

  Process of getting fixed.

• 40:15Speaker 04

So, I'll elaborate into that. So, I purchased the truck about a year ago, it with the business. It was included in the, included in the credit card.

• 40:24Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, oh, that, really? Okay.

• 40:27Speaker 04

So, it was included, obviously, pressure washers, need a truck to carry it around. So, I purchased the truck. It's a 1996 Chevy S10. It's a four cylinder, so it, it can't tow that much, but it gets really good gas mileage. So, in my mindset, I'm thinking, oh, I'll get good gas mileage, I'll be able to go longer distances, save money on the gas and be able to...

• 40:47Speaker 04

The headlights were really dim and the highway coming back from there doesn't have very many lights, so I mean...

• 40:52Caleb Hammer?

Oh, here, this sounds like a lot of excuses, go ahead.

• 40:54Speaker 04

Well, I mean, no, I'm not even, it's, it's not even an excuse at that point, like, cause I know, I know that I [BLEEP] it up.

• 40:59Caleb Hammer?

No, what do you do then? You pull the [BLEEP] over.

• 41:02Speaker 04

  Well, I, I had to, I had to get back, I can't.

• 41:04Caleb Hammer?

You can Uber, you can pull over, Uber, get it tomorrow.

• 41:07Speaker 04

That would've been like a hundred bucks, like a hundred, two hundred bucks, that's...

• 41:10Caleb Hammer?

Better than what I assume is about to happen.

• 41:12Speaker 04

No, well, no, I didn't wreck it. It's, it's still, I drove, I drove it here today. I'm just saying, it was, it was, it, whenever I drove it, whenever, whenever I drove it back, I knew that I was about to get into [BLEEP]. As, cause I see the headlights are a little [BLEEP]. I'm like, okay, here we go, this is something I'm gonna need to fix. I get it back, I parked it at my buddy's house, cause I'm about to work on it. As soon as I come back that morning, there's transmission fluid on the ground. I get it to a transmission shop, you gotta rebuild the whole thing. How much is that gonna cost? Twenty-eight hundred bucks, you're gonna have a three-year warranty. Okay, cool, let's do it. I get it done. Cause obviously you can't drive around without a bad transmission.

• 41:45Caleb Hammer?

Where does this money come from?

• 41:47Speaker 04

I had saved up, I had a decent savings saved up, I had a lot of money, obviously you see the statements.

• 41:51Caleb Hammer?

So, you don't borrow money from anywhere?

• 41:53Speaker 04

No, I, I had a seven, seventy credit score. I just had a long streak of just bad decisions and... And that has put us into the point to where now, I had to... So, my engine blew up on the truck. So, all in all, the truck has probably cost me about seven thousand.

• 42:12Speaker 04

  For the, for the fixes.

• 42:15Speaker 03

We owe his grandma for the engine.

• 42:17Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 42:18Speaker 03

Cause she put it on a credit card.

• 42:19Caleb Hammer?

You just told me you don't borrow from people.

• 42:22Speaker 04

That was before. I'm talking about back whenever I had the money saved up. I didn't.

• 42:25Caleb Hammer?

Why do I give a fuck about that?

• 42:26Speaker 04

  What? I'm sorry.

• 42:27Caleb Hammer?

You're borrowing from grandma right now?

• 42:29Speaker 04

  I didn't understand the question. I apologize.

• 42:32Caleb Hammer?

Why? You think I'm asking about in the ancient mindset? I don't give a fuck back then. I'm talking about now. Why do I care about what happened to you in middle school? I don't give a fuck. Oh my gosh, dude.

• 42:43Speaker 04

So yeah, I did borrow from my grandmother.

• 42:45Caleb Hammer?

You just wanna look good. You just say whatever is necessary to look good.

• 42:49Speaker 04

  I mean.

• 42:49Caleb Hammer?

You're not gonna wiggle out of that, man. You gotta confront your real shit. You're borrowing from grandama.

• 42:56Speaker 04

  Grandma.

• 42:56Caleb Hammer?

How much you owe to grandma? Let's write that down.

• 42:58Speaker 04

So right now I owe... So I have two different.

• 43:03Caleb Hammer?

  How? Much?

• 43:05Speaker 04

I owe eleven hundred. Eleven hundred to grandma.

• 43:08Caleb Hammer?

I thought I was going thousand or out. Even still, that is not great. I mean, from grandma, likely retired, right?

• 43:16Speaker 03

  And brother.

• 43:16Caleb Hammer?

  How old's grandma?

• 43:18Speaker 04

  Grandma's sixty-four. Grandma's sixty-four.

• 43:21Caleb Hammer?

You're borrowing from a six-year-old and she just said Andrew brother?

• 43:24Speaker 03

  And uncle.

• 43:25Speaker 04

  Yeah, brother.

• 43:27Speaker 04

  Grandma.

• 43:27Caleb Hammer?

  What? Get out!

• 43:28Speaker 04

Grandma is uncle. Grandma is uncle. That's, the eleven hundred is...

• 43:31Speaker 03

Oh yeah, well, I came from.

• 43:32Caleb Hammer?

How did that, that does it?

• 43:33Speaker 04

She has access to his savings account. He goes to college full-time and...

• 43:36Caleb Hammer?

And he took from her? Him? She took from him?

• 43:39Speaker 04

Yeah, she has access to, so.

• 43:41Caleb Hammer?

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Are you telling me that your grandma took from uncle?

• 43:46Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 43:47Caleb Hammer?

  Does uncle know?

• 43:48Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 43:48Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 43:49Caleb Hammer?

Why didn't you borrow from uncle instead of from grandma to uncle?

• 43:52Speaker 04

Well, I just put both of them in one name. I mean, that's, he knows. I spoke to him in regards to it, but he's...

• 43:57Caleb Hammer?

No, no, no. Tell me how this worked!

• 44:00Speaker 04

  Okay. So...

• 44:02Caleb Hammer?

Oh my fuck. I don't give a I'm talking about that just the borrowing guy.

• 44:07Speaker 04

The bar yes, the bar I had to borrow from them in order to get the truck.

• 44:10Caleb Hammer?

How from grandma and uncle, you mean individually?

• 44:14Speaker 04

No, for the so look, uncle is the eleven hundred. It came from his savings. She has access to his savings. I spoke to him. I spoke to him in regards to.

• 44:23Caleb Hammer?

Why did the grandma do it though, instead of him?

• 44:26Speaker 04

Because he's in Kansas. He's not. He doesn't.

• 44:28Caleb Hammer?

Oh, electronic transfers don't work in Kansas.

• 44:32Speaker 04

  Yeah, well.

• 44:32Caleb Hammer?

Venmo doesn't exist. What are you talking about? He's in Kansas. What do I give a about Kansas?

• 44:37Speaker 04

  But look, yeah, he.

• 44:38Caleb Hammer?

What? Oh, they have corn, guys. They can't transfer money.

• 44:41Speaker 04

Yeah, he can't transfer the money. No, it it got.

• 44:45Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah, through grandma.

• 44:47Speaker 04

I spoke with him. He gave me the green light and then I've been dealing with her.

• 44:51Caleb Hammer?

  Dude, so weird.

• 44:54Speaker 04

  It is weird.

• 44:54Caleb Hammer?

And you pay her and he pay she pays him?

• 44:56Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 44:58Caleb Hammer?

Why? Why is she the middleman?

• 45:00Speaker 04

I that's just how it's working out right now.

• 45:02Caleb Hammer?

How much did you borrow total? This is insane. This is the stupidest thing I've.

• 45:06Speaker 04

  Borrow total was, uh.

• 45:08Caleb Hammer?

  Dumb.

• 45:09Speaker 04

Was right at like fifteen hundred, sixteen hundred.

• 45:11Caleb Hammer?

  When?

• 45:13Speaker 04

  Uh, whenever the truck.

• 45:14Caleb Hammer?

  When?

• 45:15Speaker 04

When? About two, three months ago.

• 45:20Caleb Hammer?

  And then and then brother?

• 45:22Speaker 04

  So, yeah, brother.

• 45:22Caleb Hammer?

  Your brother.

• 45:23Speaker 04

  Brother is also.

• 45:24Caleb Hammer?

  How old's your brother?

• 45:25Speaker 04

Brother is about to be twenty in.

• 45:27Caleb Hammer?

You're borrowing from a nineteen year old.

• 45:29Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 45:31Caleb Hammer?

  You are married to this.

• 45:33Speaker 04

Look, I'm not proud. It's not something to be proud about.

• 45:36Caleb Hammer?

Listen, that's again, you're one of just one of those things that you're just you're acting like the oh, you know what? I'm acknowledging. But I don't know. You're it's you're one of those peoples that says that over and over again when they're confronted. But then they continue the same path. It always happens or else you would not be doing this stuff every other month, guy. So how much did you borrow from a nineteen year old?

• 45:58Speaker 04

  That was six hundred.

• 45:59Caleb Hammer?

  How much is so old?

• 46:01Speaker 04

Twenty five. Uh, so we struck a deal on that. So I've been paying for his phone bill for going on two years. And I told him that since he since he is, uh, earning income, like he's making everything and I'm obviously in the hole. I said, hey, man, I'll keep paying for your phone bill and we'll just use that until we're paid up in current. So he's got fifteen months of a paid phone bill. Kind of struck a deal with him. That's, that's how that went down. Cause he doesn't really need the money right now. He told me, so he

• 46:59Speaker 04

  He's like, look, that's fine.

• 47:01Caleb Hammer?

How, how do you feel that your 19 year old brother is more successful than you?

• 47:05Speaker 04

  I'm not proud of it.

• 47:08Speaker 04

It, it fucks me up. Trust me, it fucks me up.

• 47:10Caleb Hammer?

And why don't you do anything instead of repeating the same mistakes over and over again?

• 47:14Speaker 04

I need, I need a proper game plan.

• 47:17Speaker 03

  We.

• 47:18Speaker 04

We need a proper game plan.

• 47:19Speaker 03

Cause I have to assume some responsibility too. We, we've been going-

• 47:23Caleb Hammer?

I assume on the spending front probably.

• 47:25Speaker 03

We've been going to Cancun. Uh, he's-

• 47:29Caleb Hammer?

Oh my gosh. Lady, you, seriously, in the back of your brain must just have a bag full of insane things that you guys have and you were just dropping them like little pebbles.

• 47:44Speaker 03

But I was working. I was helping him too. It was just not only his money, it was mine too. This was way before.

• 47:50Caleb Hammer?

How often are you guys going to Cancun?

• 47:52Speaker 04

We've been three times over the-

• 47:54Caleb Hammer?

Oh, of course. Buddy, you just got a foreclosure notice. Not foreclosure, an eviction notice. No more Cancun.

• 48:02Speaker 04

I mean, we can't go now.

• 48:03Speaker 03

We can. I cannot even go out of the United States if I want to.

• 48:05Speaker 04

She's, she's here until we get the green card.

• 48:07Caleb Hammer?

No vacations in the United States.

• 48:09Speaker 04

  Yeah, we-

• 48:09Speaker 03

No, we're not doing it even of that.

• 48:11Speaker 04

We can't even afford it right now. We'd love-

• 48:12Caleb Hammer?

You could have probably afforded then.

• 48:14Speaker 04

  It's a, it's a, yeah.

• 48:16Caleb Hammer?

How much did you guys spend going to Cancun?

• 48:18Speaker 04

  So each time was average-

• 48:20Speaker 03

  Thousand?

• 48:20Speaker 04

  Three.

• 48:22Speaker 03

  No. Three?

• 48:24Speaker 04

  Three thousand.

• 48:25Speaker 03

No, I paid, but I paid the flights.

• 48:28Speaker 04

  That was after flights.

• 48:30Caleb Hammer?

  Oh. Three after flights?

• 48:32Speaker 04

  So.

• 48:32Caleb Hammer?

Three thousand after flights, you are saying. You, you are saying there could be nine thousand dollars invested growing over these past couple of years. Growing, growing at like ten percent average in the S and P five hundred. I could be buying that, you could have bought that shit. You could have bought that shit in Momo, you could have opened up the Momo app, you could have bought S and P five hundred. That could have come pound grew. Fucking S and P five hundred.

• 48:55Speaker 04

  Exponential growth.

• 48:56Caleb Hammer?

Has grown fifty percent these last two years, fifty percent. Fifty percent.

• 49:02Speaker 04

Trust me, I look at the, I look at the charts, I, I've seen it.

• 49:06Caleb Hammer?

  Yet it all went to.

• 49:09Caleb Hammer?

  Cancun.

• 49:10Speaker 04

  It went to trips.

• 49:11Speaker 03

Only three times, it was not like.

• 49:13Caleb Hammer?

  It would look it.

• 49:14Speaker 03

  And I had my money.

• 49:16Caleb Hammer?

My producers are telling me even something more, what? I can't, I can't even get through this, cause it's just like, it just unraveled.

• 49:23Speaker 04

  It's just tidbits.

• 49:23Caleb Hammer?

You borrowed money from your brother because you didn't have rent money, but yet you still went to fucking Cancun.

• 49:30Speaker 03

That was before. This happened like two months ago, Cancun was way before.

• 49:37Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, borrowing from brother?

• 49:38Speaker 03

Yeah, Cancun was way before and we paid it like.

• 49:41Speaker 04

So it wasn't, it wasn't borrowed from brother, I originally borrowed it from my mother.

• 49:44Speaker 03

  Mom, yeah.

• 49:46Caleb Hammer?

  Oh.

• 49:46Speaker 04

  I originally had.

• 49:47Caleb Hammer?

It's gonna be one of these again.

• 49:49Speaker 03

  She owed his brother.

• 49:50Speaker 04

  She transferred the debt.

• 49:51Caleb Hammer?

  Oh my.

• 49:52Speaker 04

She transferred to my, to my brother.

• 49:55Caleb Hammer?

Just wanna leave, this conversation's insane. Just done here, man, I can't even fit myself, I can't even leave this. This is, oh my.

• 50:06Speaker 04

  I'm gonna crawl away.

• 50:07Caleb Hammer?

No, just I can't, every money thing you do is just the dumbest thing, you saw you borrowed from your mom probably, and what, what, what happened?

• 50:15Speaker 04

So my mom ended up borrowing from my brother as well. And that's, that's how, that's how the debt.

• 50:22Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 50:23Speaker 03

I need to check my blood pressure.

• 50:25Caleb Hammer?

You're fucking kidding me. Every time I try to keep it rolling, there's another fucking unraveling of insanity.

• 50:31Speaker 03

  Hey now, exhale.

• 50:33Speaker 04

  Keep it breathing.

• 50:35Speaker 03

  Keep it flowing.

• 50:37Caleb Hammer?

You got the fuck of you.

• 50:41Speaker 04

  Look, man.

• 50:42Caleb Hammer?

How has your family survived this many generations?

• 50:45Speaker 04

  We're keeping it afloat.

• 50:48Caleb Hammer?

So on the credit card that we talked about like thirty minutes ago?

• 50:51Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 50:57Caleb Hammer?

Fit connects, Fit connect, Hulu, McDonald's, go in and get in a drink at the gas station or something, Amazon Prime, Amazon. Fit connect, what is this Fit? That was sixty-three dollars and twenty-nine dollars and ten dollars.

• 51:12Speaker 04

  Fitness connection.

• 51:13Speaker 03

  That's the jam.

• 51:14Caleb Hammer?

You pay every time you go?

• 51:15Speaker 04

  No, so.

• 51:16Caleb Hammer?

Why am I, there are three different charges on here?

• 51:18Speaker 04

So the sixty-three was the annual, uh, subscription fee that was just to get the application started and then it was.

• 51:25Caleb Hammer?

You're just subscribing to this now.

• 51:27Speaker 04

  That's for her. I've, I've been subscribed.

• 51:29Caleb Hammer?

Girl, you're almost getting kicked out of your house.

• 51:31Speaker 03

  That was way before.

• 51:32Caleb Hammer?

What floor do you guys live on?

• 51:33Speaker 04

  First.

• 51:34Caleb Hammer?

  Are there other floors?

• 51:35Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 51:35Speaker 04

  Third floor.

• 51:36Caleb Hammer?

  Go up and down.

• 51:39Speaker 04

  New Year's resolution.

• 51:39Caleb Hammer?

  I'm okay with the gym.

• 51:41Speaker 04

  New Year's resolution.

• 51:43Caleb Hammer?

You're just choosing to start all this plus a new subscription now?

• 51:47Speaker 04

That was an annual, that was an annual charge. We're not gonna get that again. So currently we're at.

• 51:50Caleb Hammer?

  Until the next annuals, doc.

• 51:52Speaker 04

Yeah, which I mean, it's gonna be.

• 51:54Speaker 03

  He's just a starter.

• 51:54Caleb Hammer?

And then there was a thirty dollar charge and then an eleven dollar charge, so.

• 51:59Speaker 04

Oh, what? Oh, wait, a thirty and eleven?

• 52:00Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 52:01Speaker 04

So the thirty was for her monthly and then the eleven is mine.

• 52:05Caleb Hammer?

I think monthly counts as a charge, you dumb shit.

• 52:09Speaker 04

Okay, yeah, monthly. Monthly, it's forty.

• 52:14Caleb Hammer?

Okay, then PlayStation, then Amazon, and then Prime Video.

• 52:20Caleb Hammer?

Forty-three dollars of fees this year so far on here. What is this? Late payments over credit pay? Who even knows? But all I know is you're not using the.

• 52:28Speaker 04

  Late payments.

• 52:31Caleb Hammer?

  Entrepreneur.

• 52:41Caleb Hammer?

Oh, just dude, what are you, what you don't have, you don't have the money management skills to run a business.

• 52:49Speaker 04

  At this point.

• 52:50Caleb Hammer?

At any point so far, you've been trying it every fucking year for your life. You blew $20,000 in savings, now you're borrowing from your family who's borrowing from your family.

• 53:01Caleb Hammer?

  And $350.67 of interest.

• 53:06Speaker 04

  We're coming out of this.

• 53:08Speaker 03

  We can do it.

• 53:09Caleb Hammer?

I, in what, in what world, you spent more than you made last month and even on a good month and you spent almost triple what you make on a normal month. Coming out of this, no you're not. Coming out of this for Christmas, I don't give a shit. You're fucking destroying your life. Coming out of this, there's no coming out of this the way you're doing it. You're not coming out of anything.

• 53:32Speaker 03

  But we could.

• 53:33Caleb Hammer?

Could, if you do something, but you guys don't.

• 53:37Speaker 03

  We will.

• 53:37Speaker 04

  Need to double up.

• 53:38Caleb Hammer?

Oh, says what, says what action possibly would suggest that you guys would come out of this?

• 53:43Speaker 04

Saving, so that we can get her process started.

• 53:46Caleb Hammer?

Saving, how about let's just start with spending less than we make. Oh, you, but you don't even do that. So how are we saving if we spend more than we make? What are you talking about?

• 53:57Speaker 04

So I, currently what I'm doing is to make extra money, I'm donating plasma.

• 54:01Caleb Hammer?

Oh, yes, listen, I'm okay with it further, like if you want to do it, I hate doing it just to survive.

• 54:08Speaker 04

Trust me, I, I hate it too. It's not like I love going there.

• 54:10Caleb Hammer?

  Per plaz.

• 54:11Speaker 04

So per plaz, it's 47 the first donation and then it's 50, I think it's 53 the next one.

• 54:16Caleb Hammer?

How, how often are you doing it?

• 54:17Speaker 04

Uh, it's two times a week.

• 54:19Caleb Hammer?

  Oh, yeah, yeah, okay.

• 54:21Speaker 04

And so it'll, it'll be an extra 400 and some change.

• 54:23Caleb Hammer?

  Yeah.

• 54:26Speaker 04

Look, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get us out of the hole. I've never, I've never been scared of work ethic, it's just a matter of me putting us newlyweds into the deepest hole I could have ever imagined.

• 54:39Caleb Hammer?

Lots of acknowledgement, no change in behavior.

• 54:42Speaker 04

  No change, yes.

• 54:44Caleb Hammer?

You donate plasma, so I'll donate some things to you guys as well. Go through the budgeting class together so you can learn how to use a fucking budget. Take the quizzes together, same with the debt class and the investment class, so you guys understand all that well eventually. Meet with a domain financial advisor, same ones I use. You guys get a free session, everyone in the audience gets a free session, go through that. Get an accounting certification through Course Careers so you can do accounting for whatever next business you're gonna do. And then sit down with a therapist at Sondermind. It's another one that we partner with. You guys go to them together. You guys get three free sessions, okay? So these are the resources that I get to provide to you guys for free. So do it!

• 55:27Speaker 04

  Definitely therapy.

• 55:29Caleb Hammer?

  All of it!

• 55:31Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 55:32Speaker 04

  Therapy first.

• 55:32Caleb Hammer?

Credit one, we have credit one?

• 55:35Speaker 04

We have, we have two, we have two credit ones, actually.

• 55:37Caleb Hammer?

Oh, credit one, that's just like, it's just like, if I have credit one, I have the worst finances ever created. That's essentially what credit one means. It's a badge of you honor.

• 55:45Speaker 04

  It's the bottom barrel, yeah.

• 55:46Caleb Hammer?

Yes, it is. And you're swimming down there constantly.

• 55:52Caleb Hammer?

  My body just rejected this.

• 55:56Caleb Hammer?

Basically, at the credit limit, $777.47.

• 56:01Speaker 04

  Yep.

• 56:01Caleb Hammer?

With the $295 of purchases on credit one. Why on credit one out of all credit cards? Why on credit one? Oh, because you're already maxed out on the other card, so we have to spend some somewhere. We have to spend more money than we make, so it has to be on credit one.

• 56:12Speaker 04

So there were, there were times where we didn't have any available balances.

• 56:16Caleb Hammer?

So then you don't purchase! Here's a money mistake that I see all the time. Having money just sitting in a checking account with a teeny tiny interest rate, doing nothing but gathering dust. • 57:17Speaker 04

But, some of those purchases were groceries.

• 57:19Caleb Hammer?

Cause guess what? This is for a restaurant, it's from a cafe, from sorry driving, going in and getting a drink, going to Bearded Monkey, going in and getting a drink. Who's stopping at the gas station spending like six, seven dollars constantly?

• 57:32Speaker 04

Seven dollars at the gas station?

• 57:33Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, seven dollars at the (bleep) eight dollars!

• 57:37Speaker 04

It's probably me just putting in a little bit of gas in the tank, honestly.

• 57:41Speaker 04

Look, that month, that month was-

• 57:42Caleb Hammer?

And then a little bit of groceries, but most of it was just (bleep) around. If you can't spend money, you don't (bleep) around. No more taking the wifey out for a nice little treat!

• 57:58Caleb Hammer?

Interest and fees accruing, of course. Chop this up, close your credit cards, you are not a credit card person!

• 58:07Speaker 04

I used to be, not anymore.

• 58:09Caleb Hammer?

  You, it doesn't matter, I don't care.

• 58:10Speaker 04

  Not anymore.

• 58:11Caleb Hammer?

  Doesn't matter if you were.

• 58:14Caleb Hammer?

It just still, it feels like it can't get worse, but somehow it just, somehow it does, man. Somehow it does. You know what sucks is you guys are actually like quite pleasant people, I enjoy you guys as human beings, but this is so (bleep) and so stupid!

• 58:34Caleb Hammer?

So, credit one, number two! No, six hundred twenty-four dollars, okay, good. At a six hundred credit limit.

• 58:44Speaker 03

For real? I didn't know that.

• 58:46Caleb Hammer?

Again, these conversations around finance, how do they go? Can someone explain to me how these go?

• 58:50Speaker 04

So honestly, it just kinda boiled down to the point that like, we had to pay a card. We didn't have the money to pay the card. So we used another card.

• 58:59Caleb Hammer?

The conversations around money, how do they go, was the question.

• 59:06Speaker 04

Honestly, it's just trying to make it happen. We, I tell her, I'm like, "Look babe",

• 59:09Caleb Hammer?

No conversation, that's what I'm hearing.

• 59:10Speaker 04

"We can't spend", I tell her, "I can't spend this. We can't spend this, we're not gonna be able to afford this."

• 59:15Caleb Hammer?

Crumble cookies. Necessity. Uh huh. (bleep) museum. Grandies. Texas Roadhouse, gotta shove those rolls down your throat. Best pro store. Going in and getting some (bleep) at the gas station. What a burger!

• 59:34Caleb Hammer?

Fees, fees, fees, fees. Rollin' up.

• 59:41Caleb Hammer?

It's all just, this is fucking bullshit, dude, man. It's not even on the necessities. It's not necessities and you're saying I literally have no money, I'm just trying to survive? You would at least have a little bit of sympathy for me, but there is nothing, because Whataburger does not fucking count. What a joke.

• 59:58Speaker 04

It seemed like a necessity at the time, but it didn't work out.

• 1:00:01Caleb Hammer?

Never fucking changing. Why? Why this, huh?

• 1:00:05Speaker 03

  Cause I love him.

• 1:00:07Caleb Hammer?

  Why?

• 1:00:08Speaker 03

  You don't know him?

• 1:00:09Caleb Hammer?

I'm getting to and so far don't like.

• 1:00:11Speaker 03

  Well, but I do.

• 1:00:16Speaker 04

Thank you. I love you. I love you too, baby.

• 1:00:18Speaker 03

  I love you too.

• 1:00:19Caleb Hammer?

Chase Inc., great. Was this the?

• 1:00:22Speaker 04

  That's the business card, yes.

• 1:00:26Caleb Hammer?

What? What? How would you make the minimum monthly payment?

• 1:00:30Speaker 04

So, I've been paying, I, I struck a deal with them, so I've been paying fifty bucks a month, just to-

• 1:00:36Caleb Hammer?

Oh, for fucking goodness, because the minimum was six thousand five hundred ninety-one.

• 1:00:40Speaker 04

They've called, they were calling me very consistently, saying, "Hey, you gotta pay four thousand. Come on, let's do that." And I was like, "Yeah, I can't do that, bud, sorry."

• 1:00:47Caleb Hammer?

So, seven thousand, seven hundred twenty-five dollars and eighty-six cents, which is an insane balance for you. Insane balance. Oh, past due amount, six thousand five hundred thirty-five. What the fuck, dude? And now you're gonna have this fifty-dollar minimum payment that's gonna make no progress towards it. And then interest is just gonna be, oh! Fees seven hundred thirty-one dollars! Fees seven hundred thirty-one dollars! That's insane fees! That's insane fees! And two hundred fifty-eight dollars of interest!

• 1:01:17Caleb Hammer?

  That's insane fees! It's-

• 1:01:29Caleb Hammer?

This is so dumb! I don't get it. This is so fucking stupid!

• 1:01:36Caleb Hammer?

Just why? Why weren't you making your payments when they were smaller? That way it would just be normal.

• 1:01:41Speaker 04

  Trips?

• 1:01:42Caleb Hammer?

Oh, what a child. What a baby. What a baby. Want to have a baby with a baby? The, what are we doing?

• 1:01:52Caleb Hammer?

  You actually give a

• 1:01:54Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 1:01:54Caleb Hammer?

Then why haven't you done anything? Not one thing. Why haven't you manned up the once or adulted up the once? Ever?

• 1:02:05Speaker 04

I need to get out of it. I need to get out of the illusion.

• 1:02:07Caleb Hammer?

That's not an answer. I'm asking why you didn't.

• 1:02:10Speaker 04

Why I didn't do it? I lived in a blur.

• 1:02:12Caleb Hammer?

  And what has possibly changed?

• 1:02:15Speaker 04

  Getting married.

• 1:02:18Caleb Hammer?

When'd you guys know you were gonna get married?

• 1:02:21Speaker 04

Pretty much since we met, honestly. We didn't have an exact day.

• 1:02:25Caleb Hammer?

So that would have changed two years ago then?

• 1:02:27Speaker 04

We didn't have an exact day, but we knew we were gonna get married.

• 1:02:29Caleb Hammer?

Okay, so getting married shouldn't have changed anything then?

• 1:02:34Speaker 04

  Yeah. Well, I mean-

• 1:02:35Caleb Hammer?

So give me a real answer. What's actually gonna change? Why is it changing?

• 1:02:39Speaker 04

  Stopping all the spending?

• 1:02:40Caleb Hammer?

  Why, uh?

• 1:02:41Speaker 04

Why does it need to change?

• 1:02:42Caleb Hammer?

No, how? No, you said it's going to change. I'm saying why?

• 1:02:49Speaker 04

  I just

• 1:02:51Caleb Hammer?

It's not gonna change. It's not gonna change.

• 1:02:53Speaker 04

  I just lost.

• 1:02:54Caleb Hammer?

It's not gonna change because you're just, it's not gonna change. He doesn't have a reason why it's gonna change. There is not an actual reason why it's going to change and he is just get

• 1:03:03Speaker 03

  We're not having children.

• 1:03:04Speaker 04

  Shout.

• 1:03:06Speaker 03

  We're not having children yet.

• 1:03:07Speaker 04

  Not yet.

• 1:03:07Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:03:08Speaker 04

  That's the goal.

• 1:03:08Caleb Hammer?

  You should-

• 1:03:09Speaker 03

  We're gonna make it happen.

• 1:03:10Caleb Hammer?

Sure, but that's probably, when have you guys decided you were gonna have children?

• 1:03:13Speaker 04

  We were hoping for 25.

• 1:03:14Speaker 03

  20s.

• 1:03:15Caleb Hammer?

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. When did you guys have the conversation that we will have children?

• 1:03:19Speaker 04

  Early, early in our relationship.

• 1:03:20Caleb Hammer?

Good, so again, you've already known that, so why now? That's again a bull response. The marriage you already knew, having children you already knew, so why would this change now? You have no real answer. You try to pull it out of your ass, so nothing is actually going to change. You don't have a why. And without a why, there's nothing. There's nothing. Why sacrifice without a why? There's no reason. Why a little harder life in order to get someone better if there is no better? Why? There's no why at all.

• 1:03:50Speaker 04

I made a promise to her that I was never going to have an eviction notice put on her door.

• 1:03:54Caleb Hammer?

  Okay. Ever again?

• 1:03:56Speaker 04

Ever again. There was a one and done. That's.

• 1:03:59Caleb Hammer?

You've made lots of promises, guy. You probably promised never to join a pyramid scheme after your fourth pyramid scheme. And then you joined your eighth.

• 1:04:05Speaker 04

  I have, I have been.

• 1:04:06Caleb Hammer?

Exactly. So again, I can no longer believe, I can't believe you. I cannot. It's impossible.

• 1:04:12Speaker 04

So I got convinced by a insurance company to join in. I thought that was gonna be the right way, but obviously.

• 1:04:20Caleb Hammer?

Wait, for what? What are you talking about?

• 1:04:23Speaker 04

Uh, health insurance. Health insurance. Well.

• 1:04:25Speaker 03

  He was working in there.

• 1:04:26Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:04:28Caleb Hammer?

What are you, what are you talking about?

• 1:04:30Speaker 04

Uh, so it's a company, I don't know if I can say names.

• 1:04:33Caleb Hammer?

  You don't have to.

• 1:04:34Speaker 04

Okay. So basically it was a company that had the premise of, we will sell you life insurance. You'll get a premium, but you'll, you'll be helping make sure that they're taken care of.

• 1:04:44Caleb Hammer?

  Who?

• 1:04:45Speaker 04

Uh, PHP. People helping people. It's a conglomerate owned by Patrick Beddavid. It's basically a big ass MLM.

• 1:04:56Speaker 04

I went in there with the intention of, oh, I'm gonna make really good money off of this. Didn't work out. I, I seen the writing on the wall.

• 1:05:02Caleb Hammer?

How are you going to make money?

• 1:05:04Speaker 04

By selling insurance. That's how it was gonna be.

• 1:05:10Caleb Hammer?

I wish I just had no morals. This show just demonstrates every way that I could just go make so much more money than this show produces. I could just fucking scam the fuck out of people.

• 1:05:23Speaker 04

  You could.

• 1:05:24Caleb Hammer?

  Gosh. So easy.

• 1:05:26Speaker 04

There's so many scams out there.

• 1:05:27Caleb Hammer?

There's so many people like you who fall into them.

• 1:05:30Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:05:30Caleb Hammer?

My gosh. It would just be the easiest thing in the world. Fucking morals. Man, gosh. So what is this? Why am I seeing this under credit? $487?

• 1:05:42Speaker 04

What is that? That's an Apple credit card.

• 1:05:45Caleb Hammer?

Why do I have the statement in front of me? Huh? Huh? Huh?

• 1:05:49Speaker 04

  Whoa, how what?

• 1:05:50Caleb Hammer?

Why do I have the statement in front of me?

• 1:05:51Speaker 04

  That's GS Bank. That's Apple.

• 1:05:54Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, why do I have the statement in front of me?

• 1:05:57Speaker 04

  I sent the PDF.

• 1:05:58Caleb Hammer?

  Of the Apple statement?

• 1:06:00Speaker 04

  I thought I did.

• 1:06:01Caleb Hammer?

  No.

• 1:06:01Speaker 04

  Okay, well, you want it?

• 1:06:03Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 1:06:05Speaker 04

It's been maxed out for a while.

• 1:06:06Caleb Hammer?

  Great.

• 1:06:09Caleb Hammer?

  What's the minimum monthly?

• 1:06:13Speaker 04

  All this on the

• 1:06:13Caleb Hammer?

Oh, good. It's gone up. It's gone up and we are now over the credit limit. Did you know that? Another card. Yes, that's funny. That's great. That's hilarious. Our lives are in shambles and we're never gonna get anywhere or accomplish anything and everything's a complete joke. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. $503.18.

• 1:06:29Speaker 03

I was not laughing because it was funny. Sometimes you get nervous.

• 1:06:34Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, there's purchases. Dude, El Sadora. Is that to someone or is that a restaurant?

• 1:06:43Speaker 04

  Let me see.

• 1:06:44Caleb Hammer?

  El Sadora.

• 1:06:45Speaker 03

  Okay, yeah, it's Spotify.

• 1:06:47Speaker 04

It's Spotify, yes. That was a Spotify subscription that we paid. We PayPal paid.

• 1:06:53Caleb Hammer?

Okay, then you PayPal paid something else, then an Apple bill, then Kroger.

• 1:06:59Speaker 04

  So that the second

• 1:06:59Caleb Hammer?

  Then Netflix.

• 1:07:00Speaker 04

The second PayPal was for Christmas.

• 1:07:03Caleb Hammer?

And then underdog sports. What's that?

• 1:07:05Speaker 04

So that was a bet. I made a bet on

• 1:07:06Caleb Hammer?

You made a bet on a fucking credit card and maxed out credit. So Listen, lady, your husband that you are considering having children with maxes out credit cards, go over his credit card limit in order to bet on sports. This is a joke.

• 1:07:25Caleb Hammer?

What's your minimum monthly payment, dude? Tell me.

• 1:07:29Speaker 04

Probably 60, 60, 70 bucks right now to get to get interest.

• 1:07:38Caleb Hammer?

  Twenty-five dollars.

• 1:07:39Speaker 04

  Twenty-five dollars.

• 1:07:42Caleb Hammer?

  Yes.

• 1:07:46Caleb Hammer?

This is disgusting. I'm disgusted. This is nasty. How the [bleep] you even okay with this? What is this student loans?

• 1:07:54Speaker 04

  It is.

• 1:07:56Caleb Hammer?

You went to college for a second, maybe?

• 1:07:58Speaker 04

  I, I was almost-

• 1:07:59Caleb Hammer?

  You do everything, so-

• 1:08:01Speaker 04

I have, I almost have my associate's degree. I'm about six credits away from having my associate's. But, obviously being married, married and working full-time, can't do that.

• 1:08:10Caleb Hammer?

Okay, two thousand two hundred fifty dollars.

• 1:08:12Speaker 04

There's more. There's more student loans. That's, I think that's a stack in there. It's about five thousand.

• 1:08:19Speaker 04

Five thousand and some change, if I'm not mistaken.

• 1:08:21Caleb Hammer?

  And your minimum monthly payments?

• 1:08:22Speaker 04

Uh, I don't know off the top of my head.

• 1:08:25Caleb Hammer?

  Do you pay them?

• 1:08:27Speaker 04

No, I haven't made payments on those.

• 1:08:28Caleb Hammer?

  Are they due?

• 1:08:30Speaker 04

  I don't believe so, no.

• 1:08:31Caleb Hammer?

  Why?

• 1:08:32Speaker 04

  I haven't-

• 1:08:33Caleb Hammer?

  Did you request the ferment?

• 1:08:35Speaker 04

  No, I haven't.

• 1:08:36Caleb Hammer?

Did you try to get onto a different payment plan?

• 1:08:39Speaker 04

  No, they're two-way advantage.

• 1:08:40Caleb Hammer?

When did you stop? When did you stop going to college?

• 1:08:44Speaker 04

Uh, right before we got married, so-

• 1:08:48Caleb Hammer?

Oh, okay, so the minimum monthly payments will kick in, you better pay for it.

• 1:08:51Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:08:51Caleb Hammer?

  It's probably gonna be about-

• 1:08:52Speaker 04

March or April, probably this year.

• 1:08:54Caleb Hammer?

It's probably going to be about...

• 1:09:02Caleb Hammer?

  Fifty bucks a month.

• 1:09:03Speaker 04

  Okay.

• 1:09:08Caleb Hammer?

What a joke. What an absolute joke.

• 1:09:15Caleb Hammer?

Wait. Hold on. Two thousand two hundred fifty, two thousand three hundred forty, and an additional... Over a thousand? No, it's more like four thousand, guy. And the minimum monthly payment's gonna be like sixty bucks. You don't even know your own numbers.

• 1:09:29Speaker 04

  I said five thousand.

• 1:09:31Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, it's like, oh, you said five, sorry?

• 1:09:33Speaker 04

  I said five thousand, yes.

• 1:09:33Caleb Hammer?

Okay, it's like five thousand, so we're probably talking about, yeah, like...

• 1:09:41Caleb Hammer?

Sixty, seventy bucks. I'm gonna be more conservative and say seventy.

• 1:09:44Speaker 04

  Okay.

• 1:09:46Caleb Hammer?

  Oh my gosh!

• 1:09:51Speaker 04

  What are we looking at?

• 1:09:52Caleb Hammer?

There's no future here. Why do I have a starting and ending balance of negative in this checking account? What the?

• 1:10:00Speaker 04

  Which one is that?

• 1:10:01Caleb Hammer?

  Chase.

• 1:10:02Speaker 04

  I have two bank accounts.

• 1:10:03Caleb Hammer?

  Business!

• 1:10:04Speaker 04

Yeah, Chase Business. Oh, okay. I had probably transferred the money to the checking.

• 1:10:09Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but why more than this? It's in there. You went negative. You started negative 5,000, came in, and then you went out. Why? Why would you allow out?

• 1:10:19Speaker 04

It went, it went between Christmas and...

• 1:10:22Caleb Hammer?

Yes, but why not keep at least 30 more back? You were negative 15 dollars. Why be negative?

• 1:10:31Speaker 04

I had, I had it on the plasma card. That's where I had, that's where I had the extra money at.

• 1:10:35Caleb Hammer?

Huh? No, why'd you pull more money out? That's what I'm asking.

• 1:10:39Speaker 04

I probably transferred it to the, to the other.

• 1:10:41Caleb Hammer?

  Why? Why?

• 1:10:43Speaker 04

I don't know. I mean, I just had to pay something, dude. I don't know.

• 1:10:46Caleb Hammer?

Oh, my goodness, dude. You're insane. And it's just Apple Bill. Little Caesars were negative for Little Caesars?

• 1:10:54Speaker 04

  Pizza.

• 1:10:55Caleb Hammer?

Oh, is that what Little Caesars is?

• 1:10:57Speaker 04

  Pizza.

• 1:10:57Caleb Hammer?

  Best pro shop.

• 1:10:59Speaker 04

  Pizza, pizza.

• 1:10:59Caleb Hammer?

Apple Bill, shut the, you're not funny. ATM withdraw $600. Who knows what the fat went in? Marshals, marshals to size up from all our Little Caesars for sake!

• 1:11:10Speaker 04

  Those are for gifts.

• 1:11:11Caleb Hammer?

All so that we could be negative, negative. Leave this man now. He's a financial joke. He's gonna ruin your entire, entire future.

• 1:11:24Speaker 04

  We're gonna turn this around.

• 1:11:24Caleb Hammer?

No, you're not. No, you're not. I'm sorry. I wanted to give you benefits, but I don't know. No, you're not. No, you're not. Your behavior suggests nothing. Your comments suggest nothing. Your act, the way you've just been a re-evolving, you're like, I'm an entrepreneur. No, you fall for every scam known to mankind. You're done. Oh, good. Here's a little, nice little lob drop in the other checking account. Well done. In the other checking account. So let's, yeah, let's, let's do that in multiple checking accounts, guys. Yeah, because you were negative.

• 1:11:52Caleb Hammer?

You started negative 188 dollars and then and then and then and then it then it went worse because you tried to do something in overdraft. What a joke and Apple bill and Apple bill and Apple cash out. Texas Roadhouse. Great. More Apple cash. Shout out. We apples cash everything in our life. And Murphy Express. We went in and we got some bull Amazon and Amazon and racing games and PayPal and Amazon and Zellin on and Zellin out. And Zellin out. Overdraft this year so far. You've done approximately five of them in this just this checking account.

• 1:12:37Caleb Hammer?

The other one you also were overdrafting. So.

• 1:12:41Caleb Hammer?

This, this, this is, this is, this, this is. No, that's it's, there's nothing. There's nothing. I'm sorry. I'm sorry financially. Yes, we could change this around because we could probably make the numbers work. It doesn't matter because his behavior will never change. He is a joke. Of a wannabe entrepreneur and falls into this bull constantly is able to take no responsibility or give no reason why he's willing to move forward. It's a fucking joke. I can make a budget every day, all day, but it doesn't matter because his behavior hasn't changed. I could make the numbers work, but it doesn't matter.

• 1:13:30Caleb Hammer?

And you're okay with this? You accept this? You're okay with this?

• 1:13:35Speaker 03

I mean, I love him and we're gonna make it work.

• 1:13:39Caleb Hammer?

He's not gonna change anything. You're with the X, the future X that you were like, wow, he never changed anything, but I kept giving him a chance.

• 1:13:48Speaker 04

  I'm gonna make a change.

• 1:13:51Caleb Hammer?

I hope so. Nothing would suggest as much.

• 1:13:56Speaker 04

Numbers, numbers on paper. It's just numbers on paper.

• 1:13:58Caleb Hammer?

Exactly, and I'm saying the numbers on paper here don't matter. It's your behavior that you will never change. Because you haven't.

• 1:14:06Caleb Hammer?

And you don't have a reason to change. I asked you, you couldn't give me one. Three hundred thirty-four dollar monthly payment. What's the rent again? A thousand three hundred twenty?

• 1:14:15Speaker 04

One thousand three hundred twenty-nine, yes.

• 1:14:18Caleb Hammer?

  Utilities.

• 1:14:20Speaker 04

Hundred and fifty, electricity. The rest are included in the thirteen twenty.

• 1:14:24Caleb Hammer?

  Internet?

• 1:14:26Speaker 04

  Sixty.

• 1:14:28Caleb Hammer?

Any car payments? I don't think so.

• 1:14:29Speaker 04

  No.

• 1:14:30Caleb Hammer?

  Gas, vroom, vroom, drive, drive?

• 1:14:32Speaker 04

  Two hundred.

• 1:14:33Caleb Hammer?

  Car insurance?

• 1:14:34Speaker 04

  One sixty-eight.

• 1:14:36Caleb Hammer?

You know your numbers. Again, this is behavior. Phone bill?

• 1:14:40Speaker 04

  One forty.

• 1:14:41Caleb Hammer?

Switch to helium when you're done with your brother. Save that [bleep] money. Fifteen bucks a month. Same service as T-Mobile. TP fund, hundred fifty for the house, anything you need to survive.

• 1:14:53Caleb Hammer?

Necessary food. We're gonna do five hundred, follow the meal plan.

• 1:14:59Caleb Hammer?

  Follow the meal plan.

• 1:15:00Speaker 04

We're, we're pretty good about cooking at the house.

• 1:15:02Caleb Hammer?

No, you're not. You're on the second of your life. Shut the [bleep] off, dude.

• 1:15:06Speaker 03

But I prefer his lunch every day.

• 1:15:08Caleb Hammer?

What's the gym? The monthly gym? You said forty?

• 1:15:11Speaker 04

  Uh, yeah. Should say forty-five.

• 1:15:13Caleb Hammer?

  Medical health care.

• 1:15:16Speaker 04

  Provided through.

• 1:15:17Caleb Hammer?

Yeah, but is there any copays, any [bleep] on an ongoing basis?

• 1:15:20Speaker 04

  No.

• 1:15:22Speaker 04

  Company paid.

• 1:15:23Caleb Hammer?

Pet insurance? Anything? Do we have pets?

• 1:15:25Speaker 04

  We have one dog.

• 1:15:28Caleb Hammer?

Okay, forty dollar pet insurance. How much for pet food?

• 1:15:31Speaker 04

  Uh, fifty. Fifty monthly.

• 1:15:33Caleb Hammer?

  Small dog?

• 1:15:35Speaker 04

  He's, he's fifty. He's a, he's a Staffordshire terrier.

• 1:15:39Caleb Hammer?

Anything else that needs to be in this budget that I have not taken account for?

• 1:15:44Speaker 04

No, nothing that I can think of. Can you?

• 1:15:48Speaker 03

Just my loan, but like it was it's 300.

• 1:15:51Speaker 04

Yeah, she has a $300 loan.

• 1:15:55Caleb Hammer?

  To what?

• 1:15:56Speaker 04

  Personal.

• 1:15:57Caleb Hammer?

  To who?

• 1:15:59Speaker 04

  Uh, Santander.

• 1:15:59Speaker 03

Where I, when I used to work, they were taking the money out of my paycheck cuz I I had to.

• 1:16:05Caleb Hammer?

  Getting garnished.

• 1:16:06Speaker 03

But now that I don't work and I don't have that fake account anymore.

• 1:16:09Caleb Hammer?

Even work, $3,491.69 is what you need to bring in, so. Sorry, he's gonna go work a thousand other jobs, which he actually might do, but he needs to cut his spending while at the same time cuz he needed to bring in a minimum extra $1,500 a month to net in order to make any progress on this. But he's never gonna change his behavior, so it's dumb, but wanted to do the budget to be good guy, but it doesn't matter anyway. Spending a budget over spent, zero to 10 debt, this is stupid. And there's no collections or IRS debt, one out of 10.

• 1:16:43Caleb Hammer?

This is about the family debt that's gonna bring it down to one emergency fund, there's nothing in savings, zero out of 10. Retirement, I don't see anything, zero out of 10, real estate, zero out of 10, Amber Financial score, point five out of 10. Guys, come join us in the post show. • 1:17:12Speaker 04

I'm not blaming you, I'm just saying that I used to be really good at saving and then I just kinda like.

• 1:17:15Caleb Hammer?

And what, you met her, that's what you're saying?

• 1:17:17Speaker 04

My mom paid for a majority of the wedding.

• 1:17:19Caleb Hammer?

The mom who had to borrow from your brother.

• 1:17:21Speaker 04

That's what made her need to borrow.

• 1:17:23Caleb Hammer?

  Borrowing from your 18-year-old uncle?

• 1:17:25Speaker 03

She wanted the wedding, I didn't even want a wedding.

• 1:17:27Caleb Hammer?

What did she spend on your wedding?

• 1:17:29Speaker 04

  It was about [BLEEP] total.

• 1:17:30Caleb Hammer?

I just wanna start on all these crazy family loan stuff.

• 1:17:33Speaker 04
