They shipped me off December thirteenth, two thousand thirteen.

We get introduced to our normal Navy boot camp stuff, but we were at eight hundred division, which basically means they just stack a layer of extra PT, like two, three times a week, which was dive mode.

  About seven weeks into basic training, I came down with a really bad infection in my right knee and they, they put me on hold. They took me out of my basic training and I was in the hospital. When I first marched to the medical building, I didn't know what it was. The medical lady's like, all right, let me see your knee. And I didn't know at the time, but it was a really, really bad skin and tissue infection called MRSA, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

Anyways, they, they kept me in the hospital for like ten days. I was on an IV. And one day a doctor came in, he's like, just gonna be honest with you. We've tried everything. There's one more thing that we can try. It's an antibiotic called Zosin. If this doesn't work, we have to amputate your leg. And I, and he just left and I was like,

You have a partner with you. You're going through a series of dive checks and you're having to go underwater and make sure their belt's not twisted. Sometimes instructors slap you in the head, twist your belt, throw you underwater and just try to mess with you, as you know.

Well, we took some of their designs, tweaked them and made, made them our own and.

You know, the army's implementing the new combat field test, which is, I just did that and. We've probably had sixteen, seventeen, eighteen inquiries for the new fiscal year to get these sandbags made and they're in the hundreds sometimes. So that. Seeing these training tools that we develop and make, seeing them widely accepted now by the government and like. Being able to fulfill and put the logos and everything on there. It's like. One of the best feelings ever because I know I will go to these commands and see all these soldiers and sailors training with our gear.

Is as much as my parents made like in a whole year and like when I first released the product line.
