Opah, welcome everybody to Stavi's World. 904-800-Stavi, call in, we'll solve all your problems. Very special episode. We're in a fucking, another new studio. We're nomads and we have, I'm happy to have the very funny Eric Rayhill, Katie Full in here. From by now, the smash indie hit.

• 1:19Speaker 03

  Right.

• 1:19Stavros Halkias?

Incredible. We're on People Magazine by now. People are lined up. Vanity Fair. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You, by the time this comes out, we were honestly the most famous people probably, you know, in America, I think. Eric's dating Dua Lipa right now. It's fucking awesome.

• 1:38Speaker 03

  I'm trying it out.

• 1:38Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:41Speaker 03

  She's excellent.

• 1:41Stavros Halkias?

That's so good, dude. I'm so happy for you. But there is actually a love triangle because I'm also dating her. So that's kind of drama.

• 1:49Speaker 03

  Right.

• 1:49Stavros Halkias?

For us, but that's what happens when you're on a rocket ship.

• 1:52Speaker 03

Is Albania and Greece get along?

• 1:54Stavros Halkias?

  No.

• 1:54Speaker 03

That's what, that's the hard thing.

• 1:56Stavros Halkias?

  My mom is so pissed.

• 1:57Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:58Stavros Halkias?

That I'm fucking Dua Lipa on the side while you also fuck her. As a result of the great success of our movie, Let's Start a Cult.

• 2:05Speaker 03

  Right.

• 2:05Stavros Halkias?

Let's not, let's all not lose sight of where this riff began. That this movie. He is now super successful. And it's, yeah, fucking, it's broken Nia Vardalos' record. She's actually legitimately riff over. I respect Nia so much because My Big Fat Greek Wedding, number one grossing, the most profitable romantic comedy of all time.

• 2:27Speaker 03

  Is that true?

• 2:28Stavros Halkias?

Legitimately true. Because it was, yeah, she just did it herself and it was a complete, we honestly are trying to do the My Big Fat Greek Wedding playbook with our movie.

• 2:39Stavros Halkias?

Yes, Eric and Katie are both in the film. They're super funny and we just decided, you know, this is the month of getting people from the fucking movie on. We had Wes and Daniel on. Daniel told some great stories of his time of growing up in Norway or wherever the fuck.

• 2:54Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 2:55Stavros Halkias?

We were, I think we either have already had or are about to have Edie and Claire on, so, you know.

• 3:01Speaker 04

  That'll be amazing.

• 3:02Speaker 03

I love Daniel saying just anything. He sounds so good. He goes like this, wow.

• 3:06Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, wow, that is crazy. He was opening up by the end of the pod. He was like nervous to do a pod. You should have seen the texts. I had to coax him.

• 3:14Speaker 03

  No, Daniel.

• 3:15Stavros Halkias?

It's the hardest I've ever worked to get a guest on the podcast.

• 3:18Speaker 04

He didn't want to do it?

• 3:18Stavros Halkias?

He was just like, you know, he was, I think he was a little nervous, but he crushed it. He was so fucking funny. And he was great in the, in the, great in the movie. We just, we just watched the movie in theaters, in a theater with people. It was fucking sick.

• 3:30Speaker 03

  Right down the road.

• 3:31Stavros Halkias?

Have you guys ever watched yourselves in a, I've never done that.

• 3:34Speaker 04

  Not a feature.

• 3:35Speaker 03

It feels like fucking shit, I would say. I mean, a great movie, really fun movie, but it feels like shit watching yourself.

• 3:40Stavros Halkias?

It does feel weird because you're, the whole time I was like nervous, being like, I hope that hits. But like, when you get a nice one, when you get a nice big laugh, that feels good.

• 3:48Speaker 04

Yeah, when you're not expecting it.

• 3:49Stavros Halkias?

Totally, totally. Oh, cool. I thought that sucked, but the audience liked it.

• 3:54Speaker 04

Yeah. And you're like, I don't know why. What's wrong with them?

• 3:58Stavros Halkias?

But don't listen to us. We're, you know, we can't accept love. You guys watched the movie. That's what's important. It's available to rent or purchase on VOD right now.

• 4:07Speaker 03

Believe unless they kick this out. When are you taking this shit to Dubai where the real market's gonna explode?

• 4:12Stavros Halkias?

We're doing a screening at the top of the Burj Khalifa.

• 4:16Speaker 03

  That's amazing, man.

• 4:17Stavros Halkias?

Dude, Dubai freaks me the fuck out so much.

• 4:20Speaker 03

I know, but it feels like, it freaks me out, but I can tell that if I landed there, it would feel at home immediately.

• 4:27Speaker 04

That you would fit right in somehow?

• 4:29Speaker 03

  Shoulders relax.

• 4:30Speaker 04

What kind of job do you think you'd have if you worked in Dubai?

• 4:32Speaker 03

I think I would just be an entertainer, one of the biggest white entertainers.

• 4:39Stavros Halkias?

I one time I opened for Eddie Griffin and he I don't know if it was Dubai or Saudi Arabia. Or I mean, is that in?

• 4:46Speaker 03

  You were over there?

• 4:47Stavros Halkias?

No, I wasn't. No, but he was, he like some fucking Sultan or some, this is racist. It's probably a different title. Some Sultan Big Turban. No, no, no, no, no. I think it was Aladdin. I think it was Jasmine's father from Aladdin hired him. No. Uh, some guy hired him, paid him like 200,000. I get, I'm whatever, a huge amount of money.

• 5:09Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 5:09Stavros Halkias?

To do comedy at like his daughter's like birthday party. And it's like, this guy's like 20 year old daughter's a big Eddie Griffin.

• 5:18Speaker 03

That's not, that can't be real.

• 5:20Stavros Halkias?

  I don't know, man. I believe it.

• 5:21Speaker 03

  I believe it, but I can't believe that she's a.

• 5:22Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, she might be dude. She might be.

• 5:25Speaker 03

  Wow.

• 5:25Stavros Halkias?

He's got some bangers. Um, uh, he was crazy eyes in the movie The Loser, right? You know that one? DJ Qualls?

• 5:33Speaker 03

  I haven't, I haven't seen it.

• 5:35Speaker 04

DJ, I don't remember that one.

• 5:37Stavros Halkias?

Or the new guy, the new guy.

• 5:39Speaker 04

  I don't remember that one.

• 5:40Speaker 03

No, no, these, I'm sure they're amazing.

• 5:42Stavros Halkias?

Dude, yeah, those are Elijah Dushku trying on bikini scene. That was very crucial to my upbringing as a boy. That you're Mo's nodding his head, produce, super producer Mo, no mic for you. No, he's off camera. He's, he's, he's too shy to be on camera, but so the super producer Mo knows it. Maybe it's because didn't you grow up like weirdly religious or something? So no jacking off for young Eric.

• 6:06Speaker 03

  That's not true.

• 6:09Speaker 03

I was, I was going crazy on it. Crazier than anyone's ever done it.

• 6:16Speaker 03

  Double hander.

• 6:19Stavros Halkias?

  Wow, brag.

• 6:20Speaker 03

No, no, it's not bragging. It's just truth. Yeah. No, yeah, I was getting it in.

• 6:26Stavros Halkias?

That's awesome, dude. In Seattle or somewhere around there?

• 6:29Speaker 03

  Seattle, Washington State.

• 6:32Stavros Halkias?

I didn't, I guess I didn't think of people being, I just think of the Pacific Northwest being like, you know, fucking free spirits, not weird religious people.

• 6:40Speaker 04

I don't think of it like, are you Christian?

• 6:42Speaker 03

  Yeah, extremely Christian. Yeah.

• 6:44Stavros Halkias?

Extremely Christian. That's awesome, dude. How many, how much church are we going to?

• 6:48Speaker 03

Nonstop church. I grew up going to, uh.

• 6:51Stavros Halkias?

  Wednesday mass and shit?

• 6:52Speaker 03

No, it was probably, it was like evangelical. I went to evangelical school.

• 6:56Stavros Halkias?

  Wow.

• 6:56Speaker 03

I went to church on Sunday.

• 6:58Stavros Halkias?

  That's fucking awesome.

• 7:00Speaker 03

When nine 11 happened, my teacher in fourth grade was like, the end is coming. The morning of, she was like, it's time to rejoice because it means that Jesus is coming.

• 7:12Stavros Halkias?

Well, that's the, that's the craziest part. Positive feeling.

• 7:16Speaker 03

This is what they're talking about in Revelations.

• 7:18Stavros Halkias?

Those people are so fucking insane. A crazy part about, you know, we're not gonna get too political here, folks, but it's so funny about how much of our fucked up policy in the Middle East is evangelicals thinking they can trick God into coming back if Jews and Muslims are fighting in the Holy War. Like, they literally believe that. They think if there's, there's a, once a holy war happens, God comes back. And that's so insane to think that some fucking senator from Nebraska voting for an arms bill will make, will in some way influence the almighty God to fucking coming back.

• 7:55Speaker 03

It's crazy. Yeah, I couldn't. I was, I was ready for the rapture, too.

• 8:01Speaker 03

I like wanted it to come. I was like, but I also, it was when those Left Behind movies were coming out. Remember this?

• 8:07Stavros Halkias?

  Were you good either way?

• 8:09Speaker 03

No, I thought I would be, because I would be crank and jerking it. And then I'd be like, this is gonna keep me on earth. Then I'm gonna have to, I don't know, like, run the household because my, you know, parents and my brother.

• 8:21Stavros Halkias?

  They'll be in heaven.

• 8:22Speaker 03

Got taken away. Yeah, they're closed. They're in a pile on the ground.

• 8:25Stavros Halkias?

I love the pile of clothes.

• 8:27Speaker 03

  It's so sad.

• 8:28Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. But you were like, I can't, there were points, before you were jerking off, there were points where you're like, I'm going to heaven. Straight away. Like, were you pumped for heaven at any point?

• 8:36Speaker 03

I would have, I don't know, I never thought I would make it because even when I was like eight, I would have dreams of like the Holy Spirit coming out of a table

• 8:45Speaker 03

in my living room, damning me to hell. I would have like dreams of driving in our minivan and God's fist would, like, a cloud would turn into God's fist and like punch the fuck out of our car. Killing us. I had a dream.

• 9:00Speaker 04

I feel like you've seen more like death and dead bodies than I've heard.

• 9:03Speaker 03

  I am surrounded by dead.

• 9:05Stavros Halkias?

When we were doing, when we were doing the movie, every day you had a new story about someone who died.

• 9:11Speaker 04

And I don't think they were, it was the same story, the same dead bodies. They were like.

• 9:14Stavros Halkias?

Cause it was organic. Cause we would just be like at a lake, like I think even that.

• 9:18Speaker 04

  That one line.

• 9:18Stavros Halkias?

The line in the movie, that made it to the movie is something that you watched or you saw, you knew boys that drowned in a lake.

• 9:24Speaker 03

Two boy, well, these are boys that I used to play World War II with, like at my church. Run around shooting sticks and you know, shooting with gun, stick guns.

• 9:32Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 9:32Speaker 03

One brother was drowning, other one jumped in to try to save him and they both got taken.

• 9:38Stavros Halkias?

Jesus fucking Christ. That's so, that's like, you always hear the heroic brother that saved the brother story. You don't hear the like, oh, we went oh for two. We couldn't, we couldn't keep our, we didn't cut our losses at one.

• 9:54Speaker 03

  Right.

• 9:54Stavros Halkias?

We had to fucking go over two. It was a big risk. Damn dude. And is that why part, partially you were like, well, God's gonna destroy our minivan too.

• 10:04Speaker 03

I think so. Yeah. I was just surrounded by horror.

• 10:08Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 10:09Stavros Halkias?

What's the first time you remember someone dying? What's your first memory of death?

• 10:13Speaker 03

First time I remember someone dying was on a mission trip.

• 10:18Speaker 04

  That you were on?

• 10:19Speaker 03

  That I was on.

• 10:20Stavros Halkias?

Oh my fucking God. That's awesome. How old were you?

• 10:23Speaker 03

Well, this was like, the death started rolling in around 16 and it didn't stop. And basically we went on this mission trip and this is when I started having problems with God. Is we went to a, like a Native American reservation out in Montana. And the conceit was to get all these white kids to go to like a powwow and pick up trash.

• 10:43Stavros Halkias?

  Right.

• 10:44Speaker 03

And just wear shirts that like had like, like scripture on them and you know, and hopefully we're hoping that we'd be noticed enough. Be like, what are these all, all these white Christian kids doing? We, we should be Christian too.

• 10:55Stavros Halkias?

That's awesome that, I mean, your church group is so stupid. They could not have picked a, a less welcoming population.

• 11:02Speaker 03

They fucking hated us and they would, sometimes they'd see us and just drop trash right in front of us.

• 11:06Speaker 04

  Oh no.

• 11:07Stavros Halkias?

I mean, Native American, like go to a foreign country where they can use the help. Native Americans are in a shitty place because of exactly these people.

• 11:15Speaker 03

  Literally.

• 11:16Stavros Halkias?

Because of fucking, the use from the 1700s.

• 11:19Speaker 03

  Like our grandparents.

• 11:20Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 11:21Speaker 03

So incredible, but we were like, we would like host shit at the church in the area and we got close with these two kids and on the second to last night of the trip, they got in a drunk driving accident, both dead. Wow. And they woke us up in these tents in the middle of the night and the, the youth pastor did, we, we got summoned into the church and he goes like, so just, you know, like Tony and Mike passed away tonight, like in a car accident. And they're like, but he's like, you know, and it might be hard to hear this, but that's God's plan. And that's gonna be bringing a lot of people to the church and you know, people will be.

• 11:58Speaker 04

Yeah. So we're excited for this.

• 12:00Stavros Halkias?

God was the one who put that much Bacardi 151 in their system.

• 12:03Speaker 03

  Tech nine blasting on the.

• 12:06Stavros Halkias?

God was the one who let them find some Alize in the bushes and then fucking take it to the dome.

• 12:14Speaker 03

It's awful. Yeah. And literally I became atheist so fucking fast right after that.

• 12:18Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. What about any, any religion over there?

• 12:20Speaker 04

Not at all. None. I mean, my mom is Catholic. So she's like, you know, guilt tripping, stuff like that.

• 12:26Stavros Halkias?

  Classic guilt stuff.

• 12:27Speaker 04

Yeah. The best of is we talked a lot. I feel like you and I talked a lot about this, making the movie. My dad, similar dads.

• 12:34Stavros Halkias?

  Yes, yes, yes.

• 12:35Speaker 04

My dad, um, didn't like religion and he would say that he was God as far as I was concerned.

• 12:40Stavros Halkias?

I love that. Love that. That is power. That, that's.

• 12:44Speaker 04

  So that's what I thought.

• 12:45Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. My dad, my dad, I never bought any of his claiming he was, but he was very similar in that he, he was just, the reason it felt like he had a family was because he needed one place where he, people were forced to respect him.

• 12:57Speaker 04

  They had to do everything.

• 12:58Stavros Halkias?

By like law, you know what I mean? Like you.

• 13:00Speaker 04

  And economic control.

• 13:01Stavros Halkias?

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah. My dad one time was like, uh, he was like, I don't remember exactly what led into it, but he was like, oh, I went to the, I was like, what do you even, you don't even know what the fuck you're talking. He was like, with that age where you're like, I actually think you're not smart. I've learned, you've, I've learned enough of the world and I'm pretty sure you're wrong. And he was like, yeah, I didn't need to go to no fancy university. I went to the university of the streets.

• 13:26Speaker 04

My dad was always saying stuff like that, or like, even with like nutrition, he'd be like, "No, doctors don't know." He was like, early in that movement where like, doctors don't know what they're talking about.

• 13:35Stavros Halkias?

  That's awesome.

• 13:36Speaker 04

  "Your brain needs fat."

• 13:37Stavros Halkias?

  That's awesome.

• 13:37Speaker 04

  So you need to like-

• 13:38Stavros Halkias?

What's he on right now? What's his, uh, what was his vaccine stance?

• 13:41Speaker 04

  Not vaccinated.

• 13:42Stavros Halkias?

  Nice, hell yeah.

• 13:44Speaker 04

Not vaccinated at all. None of them are.

• 13:45Stavros Halkias?

  Respect?

• 13:46Speaker 04

I was very, yeah, I was surprised by that.

• 13:48Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 13:48Speaker 04

But, um, yeah, we don't surprise anyone.

• 13:50Stavros Halkias?

My dad was also pretty like, and my dad has no, see, the thing is, your dad had some weird, I don't know what, where my dad not being, not wanting to get vaccinated came from, but he was, I mean, probably just-

• 14:02Speaker 04

Cause I'm pretty sure my dad has every other vaccination.

• 14:04Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 14:05Speaker 04

I don't know why this one.

• 14:06Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, my dad, and he would like, there was a, there was a period of time where it was like, and all his friends are insanely unhealthy Greek men. Half of them were in the hospital. Like, half of them literally were on incubators and shit, or whatever the fuck the breath, what the fuck are those shits called? Is it an intubator?

• 14:26Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 14:27Stavros Halkias?

Michaelis Mo says yes. Yeah, the man, the man of mystery, Michaelis Mo, I like this. Little theater of the mind. You guys fill in, "What's Mo look like?" You know what I mean? This is good for-

• 14:38Speaker 03

I'll just say he's sexy as fuck.

• 14:39Stavros Halkias?

He's a fucking piece of ass, yeah. And God didn't want him here. We talked about that early on. He was a two-day birth.

• 14:46Speaker 04

No, he had to fight every second of the day.

• 14:47Stavros Halkias?

Forty-eight hour birth, had a hole in his fucking lungs.

• 14:49Speaker 04

  Reach.

• 14:50Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 14:50Speaker 04

  Cord wrapped around.

• 14:51Stavros Halkias?

Fucked his mom's pussy all up.

• 14:54Stavros Halkias?

  Forty-eight hours of pushing.

• 14:58Stavros Halkias?

That's all right, man. It's all worth it. As we said before, it's all worth it to, to bring us this beautiful podcast space. This wouldn't be possible if his, if Mo's mother didn't suffer. She suffered for this, folks, so share the link. Smash the like button.

• 15:10Speaker 04

  Please, God. Please, God.

• 15:14Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, I, I do remember, I had a very similar thing where, cause I grew up Greek Orthodox. Um, and Greek people are not religious, but you could have you were just a dumb kid who like my dad's whole thing about religion was like he didn't really, he's just like this is what you have to do kind of thing. But I just, you go to church, you're like, why would I doubt what people are telling me? This is fucking and you're smelling incense. It's kind of trippy like

• 15:41Speaker 03

  Damn, you had the ritual.

• 15:42Stavros Halkias?

Oh dude, I was an altar boy.

• 15:43Speaker 04

You had like the swinging thing, right?

• 15:45Stavros Halkias?

And I remember being like, uh, like Easter services. Cause we were, you know, we would go like to Sunday school.

• 15:51Speaker 04

Oh my gosh, all dressed up?

• 15:52Stavros Halkias?

Dressed up, but I remember, I remember Easter, all week there's church and as an altar boy, that was like, you want to get that? That's a plum assignment, right?

• 16:01Speaker 03

Cause you felt good having that responsibility?

• 16:03Stavros Halkias?

It was, it was, it was a couple of things. It was like, uh, I still really believe that some, some shit was really, even though they really didn't teach us scripture or anything. It was more just like, just listen to God kind of shit. Like I don't have any like other people that grew up kind of more religious. Like I'm sure you know, so many verses and shit like that.

• 16:22Speaker 03

I did, I lost them all.

• 16:23Speaker 04

Do you know all the songs? Like, did you sing all those like creepy Christian songs?

• 16:26Speaker 03

  Oh, hell of them.

• 16:27Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, yeah?

• 16:28Speaker 03

I used to have to go sing Christian hymns in a nursing home. That was actually the first time I ever saw death.

• 16:35Speaker 03

Singing to a dying man. He passed away like while we were in the room with him.

• 16:41Speaker 04

  That's beautiful.

• 16:42Stavros Halkias?

  How old were you?

• 16:43Speaker 03

  Nine, eight or nine.

• 16:46Speaker 04

  Do you remember the song?

• 16:46Speaker 03

Yeah, it's like joy, joy. How does it fucking go? My heart is full of joy. Shit like that, yeah.

• 16:55Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 16:56Speaker 03

And all the, you go into the Alzheimer's wing singing these things and these people are, you know, it's being taken by that mental illness.

• 17:01Stavros Halkias?

  Of course.

• 17:02Speaker 03

Uh, disease and, um, but then they hear that and they come back. It's like they're thirty, you know, twenty five years old again. They're singing it. It was so scary.

• 17:10Stavros Halkias?

  Like a, a church?

• 17:12Speaker 03

It was a Christian nursing home.

• 17:13Stavros Halkias?

  Interesting.

• 17:14Speaker 03

  Called Krista.

• 17:15Stavros Halkias?

  Krista.

• 17:15Speaker 03

  Ministries.

• 17:16Stavros Halkias?

  Interesting.

• 17:17Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 17:17Stavros Halkias?

Very nice. Yeah. And they just popped back up.

• 17:20Speaker 03

Oh, yeah, yeah. They're back in.

• 17:22Stavros Halkias?

Damn. What do you think they were up to?

• 17:23Speaker 03

  Huh? Oh, up in there?

• 17:25Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 17:25Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 17:26Stavros Halkias?

You think they got up to anything freaky?

• 17:28Speaker 03

  I bet they did.

• 17:29Speaker 04

  That's what they say.

• 17:30Speaker 03

I think they go crazy at that age.

• 17:31Stavros Halkias?

You think the Christian one got something?

• 17:32Speaker 03

I think at that age, there's no more sin. You can't sin anymore. It's fair game.

• 17:37Stavros Halkias?

After ninety, there should be no more sin.

• 17:39Speaker 03

  Right, right.

• 17:40Stavros Halkias?

I agree. It would be fun if like not old people were just committing crimes on the way out.

• 17:44Speaker 03

  Why not?

• 17:45Stavros Halkias?

  Why not?

• 17:45Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 17:47Stavros Halkias?

Um, that is, that, that's, yeah, that's so fucking funny. The, the evangelical shit is so crazy, but I remember being like, being in, uh, oh yeah, to the Easter thing. You wanted that assignment because if you felt, first of all, I was a show off. And it's like, everyone goes to Easter service. So it's like, you're fucking, everybody's like, you're holding the fuck.

• 18:07Speaker 04

You want the most people there.

• 18:08Stavros Halkias?

You're holding the little thing, you're looking fucking sick.

• 18:10Speaker 03

What is it like a scepter, a chalice?

• 18:11Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. So it would be like, okay, actually this is good. Let's break it down. There'd be like, the two little lantern. It would be like, it actually was like, there was three levels of shit you could hold and we would frame the priest, right? He'd come out, fucking big ass book. And then the little dick shit is the like lantern, right? Little kids get the lantern, fuck that shit. Then there's like, I don't know, some kind of fan golden, kind of like a halo type shit, metal thing. That's pretty good. That's a nice assignment to have. And then the last one, when you really swing your dick around, is the cross. Only one cross, only one cross. And it goes on the right, you know, the right of, I literally don't remember, probably the right side. And so that, you're really on an island there. Cause it's two pairs of guys. Then there's the cross guy.

• 18:56Stavros Halkias?

When I was the cross guy for Easter, you know.

• 18:58Speaker 03

How did you get that cross? What'd you have to do to get that?

• 19:01Stavros Halkias?

Paid my dues, dude. Stuck around.

• 19:02Speaker 03

  Chilling.

• 19:03Stavros Halkias?

You know what I mean? Went to the ones no one wanted to, you know what I mean?

• 19:07Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 19:07Stavros Halkias?

They're early leaving late, you know? But the nice thing is, and even, listen, even the, even the halo's not bad. Look, Easter service, just to be on the, be on the starting team isn't a honor.

• 19:17Speaker 04

Did you, did you feel like when you were a kid, did you like, were you embracing it and actually believing these things? Or were you like performing like?

• 19:25Stavros Halkias?

It was definitely a mix. Like, that's the thing that was weird. It was a mix of, I just loved, you love the attention.

• 19:31Speaker 04

  Attention, yeah, eyes on you.

• 19:32Stavros Halkias?

But also it's like, they're telling you this is God, right? And you're like, damn, sick. And also when you, there was like, I had some, like, my aunt who I loved passed away when I was like, too young to question shit. So for a while I was like, well, the only way I get to fucking see my aunt again is if God's real. And I'm like, you know what I mean? Like, so there's like a little element of that. And I remember being like in Easter. Being like smelling incense and shit and kinda like trying to be like, oh fuck. I feel the whole, like trying to trick myself.

• 20:04Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 20:04Stavros Halkias?

And for moments, I was like, I did feel kinda like.

• 20:07Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 20:07Stavros Halkias?

A special kinda like weird vibe, but it's like, that's probably in your head. You know what I mean?

• 20:13Speaker 03

  But how do you know?

• 20:14Stavros Halkias?

But how do you know? And yeah, and then also, I hate that as the older I get, I start believing in shit like energy. You know what I mean? Like, I hate that.

• 20:22Speaker 04

  Right.

• 20:22Stavros Halkias?

I fucking hate that I, but, but like a room full, like in a church packed as shit, people praying. I do think there was something going on.

• 20:31Speaker 04

  There's gotta be.

• 20:32Stavros Halkias?

  There's gotta be a little.

• 20:33Speaker 04

I think anytime like a group of people get together, you know, there's like.

• 20:36Stavros Halkias?

So I'm in there and I'm like trying to be like, hell, yeah, that's God. What I'm feeling right now is God. Um, but then the other, the other part of it is like in the altar, it's you and your boys. Most of, like, everyone else is at church having to fucking be quiet and shit. And we couldn't talk loud, but it's like you and your boys in like our Greek, um, communion is actual bread. It's not crackers. So it's like, they would have a big ass loaf and they would cut this, they would make just perfect square pieces. So you get all the trimmings of the bread. So we're just eating fucking, we're just fucking munching bread cores like.

• 21:11Speaker 03

  Brotherhood.

• 21:12Stavros Halkias?

Just fucking around and they're like, you're fucking pussy. Trying to get the person to get in trouble.

• 21:17Speaker 04

  That's the best.

• 21:18Speaker 03

That's like the hardest you'll ever laugh.

• 21:19Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, yeah, yeah.

• 21:22Stavros Halkias?

  Tripping someone.

• 21:23Speaker 04

Someone's gonna get mad if you're laughing.

• 21:24Stavros Halkias?

And then the old guy, there's like a, some like devoutly like priest helper guy, like. And the deacon, there was like this fucking like, this poor guy who was just some fat guy that no one respect. I mean, the priest was fat as shit. I was fat. Half the altar boys were fat. But this guy's that kinda pathetic, traditional fat guy of like just weak. Has like, had narcolepsy, had narcolepsy, so he would just be talking to you and then just go like.

• 21:48Speaker 03

  The narcoleptic deacon?

• 21:49Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah. And just fucking with him was awesome.

• 21:53Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 21:53Stavros Halkias?

We had another deacon that stole from the church.

• 21:55Speaker 03

There's always one. There's always at least one.

• 21:58Stavros Halkias?

It was awesome. But yeah, anyway, all that to say was that, yeah, and then, uh, like, uh, a really all, like one of the. Truly only good people that I grew up around got like inoperable brain cancer like nine months before his grandson was about to be born. Or like, you know, like as soon as his like daughter, his daughter was trying to have kids and they finally had one and he just gets horrible fucking. And I was like, wait a second.

• 22:24Speaker 04

  This is bullshit.

• 22:26Stavros Halkias?

Every Greek man I knew was a piece of shit except for him. Like all my friends dads were like horrible and he was the only one in like who's a loving husband and father and he was like.

• 22:39Stavros Halkias?

The worst guys of all time are fucking just hanging out in the coffee shop. Running illegal poker games out of their garages, like cheating on their wives with this guy. It fucking sucks. So I was like, oh yeah, fuck this bullshit, but.

• 22:53Speaker 03

All those rituals, like the, the, the relics, the items, the scepters. Back in the middle ages, that was used to impress the peasants who only had wood and fucking hay.

• 23:02Stavros Halkias?

  Makes so much sense, dude.

• 23:04Speaker 03

Now there's so much cool shit in the modern world. The church is behind.

• 23:08Stavros Halkias?

  You're so right.

• 23:09Speaker 03

So if the church got crazy tech that we can't understand.

• 23:11Stavros Halkias?

They need Elon Musk's little robots, dude.

• 23:19Stavros Halkias?

That's the equivalency. It would be like having, you kind of get why Joel Osteen and those motherfuckers. Were like, are like in these big mega churches that are, or they're coming down from the fucking rafters like.

• 23:31Speaker 04

Like that's so funny, it's just like the biggest room you've ever seen and that's all it takes. God, this room is so big.

• 23:36Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, God must have wanted this to exist.

• 23:39Speaker 03

God's got to step up if he wants to come back in America.

• 23:42Stavros Halkias?

I agree. Nine eleven didn't even do it.

• 23:44Speaker 03

Yeah, no, that, just for a second it did.

• 23:48Speaker 03

We need something worse or better, I mean.

• 23:50Stavros Halkias?

  It might be coming, brother.

• 23:58Speaker 03

Fucking horrible is coming. I think we're gonna see, I have a prediction right now. We are gonna see something in our lifetimes that is more horrible than is.

• 24:07Speaker 04

That's more horrible than what we're seeing now?

• 24:08Stavros Halkias?

Oh, much, much, much more horrible. It's awful right now. I remember this, was it, you actually had this take during the movie. That we were gonna see something that like our brains can't comprehend, right?

• 24:19Speaker 03

I remember saying that, but I do think that's coming.

• 24:21Speaker 04

Yeah, like our brain, body and spirit.

• 24:26Stavros Halkias?

So horrible and weird that it's gonna be upsetting, but it will be like upsetting on a level that like melts our brains, like that we won't have the faculties to understand what's going on.

• 24:38Speaker 03

I pray for something like that. I want something interesting to happen again. I mean horrible things are happening right in front of our faces.

• 24:45Speaker 04

It would just like kind of like off the hook too.

• 24:46Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, like it can't be a nuke.

• 24:47Speaker 04

  Or anything.

• 24:48Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah. You just get to pass away.

• 24:50Stavros Halkias?

Right. No, it would be something that completely shows the futility of our lives and our world, like something like that.

• 24:58Speaker 04

  That I pray for.

• 24:58Stavros Halkias?

  Please. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 25:00Speaker 03

I want something to cut through this dimension, crack it open. We see God in a way. It's like we see different crazy 3D shapes, but it's like actually a different dimension that we can't understand.

• 25:10Speaker 04

You're saying like not in a good way, in like a horror, like shock.

• 25:13Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 25:14Speaker 04

  Not like a celestial.

• 25:16Speaker 03

Every human being seeing it at once.

• 25:17Stavros Halkias?

Yes, that was another thing. It's a communal thing. I remember you saying that. It would be something that we all experience collectively and have no power over to not control.

• 25:27Speaker 04

It'd be like an asteroid or something, right?

• 25:29Stavros Halkias?

Even that though, I feel like is within our, he's talking about.

• 25:33Speaker 04

  That's within our understanding, yeah.

• 25:35Speaker 03

  Incomprehensible, yeah.

• 25:36Speaker 04

We've got a word for it.

• 25:37Stavros Halkias?

Like even, even aliens I think aren't, they're close, but not enough.

• 25:42Speaker 04

  Aliens are kind of.

• 25:44Stavros Halkias?

  A little passe.

• 25:45Speaker 04

A little passe. We know they're there.

• 25:46Stavros Halkias?

Although what if it was an alien that like, it's an alien, like everyone, we show our lack of imagination. We think it's like a fucking human looking thing, just with the green. It's green and has a big head.

• 25:56Speaker 03

  Right.

• 25:57Stavros Halkias?

But if we had some kind of like fucked up slime that came from, you know, even.

• 26:01Speaker 03

  That would do it.

• 26:01Stavros Halkias?

  Or even a mist.

• 26:02Speaker 03

  Just a energy.

• 26:03Stavros Halkias?

Like a fucked up energy that just makes us feel bad. What if that's what, like they're so little and they go in our brain.

• 26:10Speaker 03

Well, they could be fucking right. They could be the size of a pixel. You know, you see what I'm saying?

• 26:13Stavros Halkias?

Smaller. We can't even, pixels we understand.

• 26:18Speaker 03

Nah, that's as small as it gets.

• 26:22Speaker 03

I do think about like, you know how about, you know that Jim Carrey thought he was gonna die?

• 26:27Stavros Halkias?

  Yes.

• 26:28Speaker 03

That he thought there was a missile alert that that these missiles were headed towards Hawaii.

• 26:32Speaker 04

And he thought he specifically was gonna die?

• 26:34Speaker 03

And so, and he said that he just sat and watched the Hawaiian sunset and like, thank God for everything that had happened to him. I want something like that to happen to me.

• 26:42Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 26:44Speaker 03

Please, if I could get that once a week, I'd be feeling good.

• 26:47Stavros Halkias?

  But to really believe it.

• 26:49Speaker 03

Yeah, well, I'd be so scared.

• 26:50Stavros Halkias?

Don't you think eventually it would wear off?

• 26:52Speaker 03

Maybe. But like, when's the last time you were hella scared? Like, I haven't been scared in a second, you know what I mean?

• 27:00Stavros Halkias?

Maybe like a plane with horrible turbulence?

• 27:02Speaker 03

  That was the last time.

• 27:03Stavros Halkias?

  You know, something like that?

• 27:04Speaker 03

  It's good to feel fear.

• 27:06Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 27:09Speaker 03

We used to be afraid as like, you know, early humans, we were afraid every fucking day.

• 27:13Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 27:13Speaker 03

And then, I don't know, I think there's something to that.

• 27:16Stavros Halkias?

I think it's good to feel fear for for actual reasons. What's fucked up is we feel like the level of we're about to die fear because you have to, they forgot your order and you have to ask the waitress to put bacon on your burger.

• 27:28Speaker 03

  The stakes are different, right?

• 27:30Speaker 04

You don't like something, you have to tell someone about it.

• 27:31Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, like, oh no. I actually had the fucking, oh, I had the, I took some breakfast L's this morning headed over here and I saw, I saw just the most obnoxious LA like, like, you think you're gonna see like a rich guy in like a much younger, like a sugar daddy, sugar baby. You think, you think that's gonna be everywhere and you think in your head distinguished rich guy, maybe not the hottest guy, but handsome. And then like just the hottest, you know, woman you've ever seen in your life. And dude, I saw just the most obnoxious, lowest level of that at this fucking brunch place. Where this guy was just like, kinda like the deacon, fat as shit, you know what I mean?

• 28:13Stavros Halkias?

Kinda had like a CeeLo, a CeeLo green vibe going, like really, really bootlegged CeeLo.

• 28:18Speaker 03

He's got the worst build I've ever seen.

• 28:20Stavros Halkias?

Tough build dude. And this guy was kinda, actually, was it CeeLo? He was kinda, no, CeeLo could do better than this. He was kinda dressed like CeeLo, had a turtleneck, like truly. Horrible, like whatever, what he was wearing, not right for his frame. He was like, he was wearing like a turtleneck and he just looked like a round ball. He could like, like Gru, he was kinda dressed like Gru.

• 28:41Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 28:41Stavros Halkias?

Same proportions, uh, just weird singing, like kinda trying to peacock, like singing along to the music. I'm sat right next to them. And the girl he's with is just not hot and acting obnoxious.

• 28:55Speaker 03

  Right.

• 28:55Stavros Halkias?

Has that like, talking that baby voice type of shit. She's also, you know, much younger than him, but not like young. Not that young. And like some bad fillers going on, like kinda busted. He's like thirty-three. Yeah, exactly, thirty-three. A nice age. A good age, but like busted, annoying, and like this is what happens. They get their, their breakfast comes, right? And by the way, this place sucked, I had to, I, I like, whatever, I had a bad time. But their food looked, their food comes out, he orders over, uh, medium eggs, they come out hard fried. She o, or no, I'm sorry, he orders, he orders over easy, they come out over medium. She ordered over medium, they came out hard.

• 29:36Stavros Halkias?

Immediately they're like, this is, how dare they, they fucked our order up. And they're like, they're, and it takes them, they don't put it together. That he could have given her his over medium eggs and just asked for over easy ones. It takes them maybe like twelve minutes to put that together. No waitress at the site. But they do do it. They don't, well, so he's like, oh, wait, I could just give you, and she's like, I'm not having cold eggs. And it's like, they're right. That's very LA. They're right. What the fuck are we talking about, bitch?

• 30:08Speaker 03

Can I tell you though, that I feel comforted by the fact that these people are real?

• 30:12Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, well, that's what, it's fun to see them for real, cause like, it is, yeah, because, and, and also to see them, the shittiest version of them.

• 30:21Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 30:22Stavros Halkias?

And then this guy, now that she's acting country, he's like, well, now I have to have a fucking power. Like now my, this woman, I need to show dominance to the waitstaff because now, cause then she's like. Like I'm embarrassed. And then she's like, I'm not, exactly, yeah, he's like, oh, how dare you. And then she's like, and I'm not touching my steaks, I'm not touching the. Rest of my food until the eggs come. And by the way, this guy.

• 30:43Speaker 04

Oh, she got steak and eggs?

• 30:44Stavros Halkias?

She got steak and eggs. Looks kinda good.

• 30:46Speaker 04

  Good for her.

• 30:47Stavros Halkias?

Anyway, they're about to talk to the waitress and I just get up because I'm like, I can't be around these. Like, I can't, I can't watch what's about to happen. I'm going, because I also hated the waiter. The waitstaff, because they, I'd been there for fifteen minutes. No one had given me like water. So I was like about, and I knew myself. I hate everyone involved and I'm sitting right next to them. I would have fucking, I would have piped up in a fucking weird way. I would have been so pissed. I'm hungry. I was like, I have to just, and I just got up and left. But it was fucking, yeah, it was just the most beautiful LA. Like, these people are pieces of shit.

• 31:20Speaker 03

These people don't exist anywhere else, I don't think. I think it is unique to this city.

• 31:24Stavros Halkias?

It was awesome, though, and it's like, just imagining them fucking too is disgusting. Like, those people, those people like going back.

• 31:32Speaker 03

I'm not like a secondhand Casper. They got the nice bed, but it's like more secondhand than you think.

• 31:37Stavros Halkias?

And it's like, what did that guy do? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. How is this guy rich to even, but yeah, it's, it's a funny place. People are still trying to become, and they think they're kind of being, they think they're like behaving the way they should too.

• 31:50Speaker 03

Right. Well, that's what I, that's what I admire is that like, I kinda had thought the Juicy Couture style mall rat. People were gone. I thought they had passed away years ago. But then you come here and they're in it and they're so proud of it.

• 32:05Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, yeah.

• 32:05Speaker 03

You just, I'm almost like, I like to be friends with a few of them. Because I don't know any. You know what I mean?

• 32:11Stavros Halkias?

Well, that's the thing. I didn't really respect them because they weren't good enough. Because they, there was artifice. They were pretending to play their roles. Neither one of those people is who they're pretending to be. She maybe was this eight years ago.

• 32:22Speaker 03

  Twenty sixteen.

• 32:23Stavros Halkias?

He clearly, exactly. Whatever the fuck, yeah, whatever the fuck he did is over. You know what I mean? Whatever got him, so they're both, but I, I love when people are purely just pieces of shit with no thought. Yeah, just, that's what it's gotta be. You're truly behaving how you are.

• 32:40Speaker 03

  Yeah, it's beautiful.

• 32:41Speaker 04

Proud, confident, see no problem with it.

• 32:44Stavros Halkias?

  Love seeing that.

• 32:45Speaker 04

I love how confident people are in LA. You know? I admire it so, so, so much.

• 32:50Speaker 03

So it's just so nice to like see someone not care.

• 32:53Speaker 04

I've met a lot of women, like, you know, out and about or jobs I've had and there are like, there's so many women like starting foundations.

• 32:59Stavros Halkias?

Hmm, that's a fun, another thing where they're like.

• 33:02Speaker 04

One great girl is like, just a foundation for Thailand.

• 33:06Stavros Halkias?

  Just the concept.

• 33:07Speaker 03

  Let's please help.

• 33:08Speaker 04

Just help and tie people up. I think they're actually like not that bad.

• 33:11Stavros Halkias?

  Kind of doing alright.

• 33:13Speaker 04

  Very, very well.

• 33:14Speaker 03

  Just sending money to like.

• 33:15Stavros Halkias?

  It's a beautiful place.

• 33:16Speaker 03

  Bitcoin account, yeah.

• 33:18Speaker 04

But like just the confidence of like saying that out loud to like a table full of people.

• 33:22Stavros Halkias?

  Mm-hmm.

• 33:22Speaker 04

  I long for that.

• 33:24Stavros Halkias?

Oh, yeah. And think and being they what they started that is to be in a meeting where everyone has to listen to them. And they have to give a couple of orders and nothing will ever come of it. But for there will be three meetings where she, you know, that woman comes in in a fucking pantsuit. Pretend and then the lunch where she's like, oh, this foundation, it's so hard. I just, but it's important work. You know what I mean? Like pretending it's something she has to do.

• 33:48Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 33:49Stavros Halkias?

  That's what they start.

• 33:50Speaker 04

And then people want her to do it. But then six months later, she's like, what?

• 33:53Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 33:55Speaker 04

So do people not do that? I've never lived in New York. Do people, are people not like that? Like in New York, they're not that illusionally confident?

• 34:01Speaker 03

  In Manhattan and Williamsburg and.

• 34:03Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, I guess, but I guess this is it's a much more, I just feel like that definitely exists, but I feel like.

• 34:08Speaker 04

  More tied to reality.

• 34:09Stavros Halkias?

I guess I like to say that it's classier.

• 34:11Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 34:11Stavros Halkias?

You know what I mean? Like, I, I think, I honestly just think every, this is me showing my bias, but I think like, I also think the, the sugar daddies are just actually high powered. There's no pretending in New York. You know what I mean? Like here, it's a city of pretending.

• 34:27Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 34:27Stavros Halkias?

And the sugar babies are like hot as shit, but also like they've gamed out the system and they're like, well, it's either this or get a job. I don't want to do that. You know what I mean?

• 34:36Speaker 04

  Definitely not doing that.

• 34:36Stavros Halkias?

And the like, and, and they're just about their, like, I know girls who are just like, it's all, it's like the most lucrative job. It's like, well, I'd be dating guys like this anyway. And this way it's like, and I just feel like, I just respect everyone involved more. Cause it's about like, you know, time is money. No, it's not to show off. It's like, I want to fuck a young girl. And I want, and the girl's like, well, I want like a purse. You know what I mean? And it's like, and this is the quickest, this is the quickest way for both of us to do this kind of thing. It's a more practicality.

• 35:06Speaker 03

I think here though, these people have what is called real true freedom. Because it's like Cypher in the Matrix where I feel like he like makes a deal with Mr. Smith. You know what I mean? To like not be aware of the Matrix anymore. And he gets to eat the steak and he's like, it tastes fucking good. We are all in the Matrix and we're in hell trying to be like.

• 35:23Speaker 04

And these people aren't. Is that what you're saying?

• 35:25Speaker 03

They're like out of, they're in the.

• 35:26Speaker 04

  That's what I want.

• 35:27Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. Yeah, we want, we need to be Cypher.

• 35:29Speaker 03

It would be nice to be.

• 35:30Speaker 04

I want to be starting businesses.

• 35:32Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 35:34Speaker 03

Just like not have any self-awareness.

• 35:36Speaker 04

  Have an L C.

• 35:36Stavros Halkias?

No, you're right. You're absolutely fucking right about that. I, I, I like, there must have been like, what's the delusion like in the, all the church people, they must have been like, were they all all in or did part of them, do you think there was ever people that are like, I hope this is real?

• 35:52Speaker 03

I don't know. A lot of them are, were all all in and on top of no self-awareness, they get righteousness, which is the ultimate drug.

• 35:59Stavros Halkias?

  That does feel good. Yes.

• 36:00Speaker 04

But they're like superior to their.

• 36:01Speaker 03

They're so superior by being more moral. And I think that, but, and they're also cheating and.

• 36:06Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 36:07Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're still getting it in, but being righteous about it.

• 36:10Speaker 04

Those are always the people that are like, you know, they end up like on a Dateline or something. They're always doing like your creepy sex.

• 36:15Stavros Halkias?

  For sure.

• 36:16Speaker 04

  Stuff.

• 36:16Stavros Halkias?

  Right. Any, any fun scandals?

• 36:19Speaker 03

Let's see. Um, there was a, my friend, this is, this might be too close to home.

• 36:27Stavros Halkias?

We don't have to give specifics. We can even bleep out the phrase you just said. Okay, nevermind.

• 36:31Speaker 03

Who, I, I was like in the groom's party, whatever. Um, this guy was like getting married to one of the youth leaders from our church, but she was like four years older than he was or five years older. And he was like 15 when they met and she was like 12.

• 36:48Stavros Halkias?

  Hell, yeah, dude.

• 36:49Speaker 03

So, and I was in the wedding, but as it turns out, she had done that to more boys.

• 36:54Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, female pedophile.

• 36:56Speaker 03

And I was in the wedding in a Brooks Brothers suit with a pink tie.

• 37:01Stavros Halkias?

This woman fucked all the fucking pre like teens.

• 37:04Speaker 03

I don't know, I don't know exactly how far it went. And if that person's listening, who isn't that?

• 37:08Stavros Halkias?

  Sure.

• 37:08Speaker 03

I'm sorry, brother, for what you went through, but I always knew she wasn't the one.

• 37:12Stavros Halkias?

Did they break up? They get divorced?

• 37:13Speaker 03

  Yeah, she, yeah.

• 37:14Stavros Halkias?

  She started doing some P S A T tutoring.

• 37:16Speaker 03

Something else happened. He got out of there though. That's the good news.

• 37:22Stavros Halkias?

  Damn female pedophile.

• 37:23Speaker 03

That was like, but at the time I was like, let him be with her. Like, that's true. You know what I mean?

• 37:27Speaker 04

Like you thought it was true love.

• 37:29Speaker 03

I was like, yeah, like everybody chill out.

• 37:31Stavros Halkias?

Were you like thinking you'd like marry some girl you dated when you were like 18?

• 37:34Speaker 03

I, I, well, maybe. Yeah, yeah. I thought I would get married.

• 37:37Stavros Halkias?

You're still a bit of a, a monot, like you've been in a relationship for a while. That's kind of, yeah, the, the church put that in your head, maybe.

• 37:44Speaker 03

  Yeah, totally.

• 37:44Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, but it's all right. You're doing good.

• 37:46Speaker 03

  It's all good.

• 37:46Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 37:49Speaker 03

But yeah, their scandal, I mean, yeah, those places are evil church.

• 37:53Stavros Halkias?

And when did you completely knock out of it when you were like?

• 37:56Speaker 03

I mean, it was like after that mission trip.

• 37:58Stavros Halkias?

  After the right.

• 37:59Speaker 03

  Where those boys died.

• 38:01Stavros Halkias?

After they tried to say it was God's plan.

• 38:03Speaker 03

But there was a moment where I went to Washington DC on like a school trip or something and I went to a museum. And there was like this, and I was like full atheist at the time and I walked into this dark room with, it was like, we were in like the religious section of the museum.

• 38:15Stavros Halkias?

  You're knocking over books.

• 38:16Speaker 03

  Yeah, so pissed.

• 38:17Stavros Halkias?

I'm with the, I'm with the devil.

• 38:19Speaker 03

But I went into this one room and it was like a tiny, and it was dark. And then there was like low light on this small picture of Jesus on the cross. And I remember going in there and being like, oh, fuck, I was, I was wrong.

• 38:32Speaker 03

Like, I remember what he did for me. I got full body chills and for like one or two days, I was like, I'm Christian again. And then pretty quickly I started drinking again and getting back into my lifestyle, but you know what I mean? I was back for about two days after seeing that painting.

• 38:46Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, boozing. Then you also get into Adderall heavy at that age?

• 38:49Speaker 03

  Yeah, I was in, ViVance.

• 38:52Speaker 04

I remember you talking about that.

• 38:54Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, that was awesome.

• 38:55Speaker 03

I got ViVanced out. I lost about 40 pounds. Stop laughing.

• 38:58Speaker 04

Did you do like, you like showed us a picture.

• 39:00Speaker 03

Oh, yeah. I was down to one, 125 pounds.

• 39:04Stavros Halkias?

You were so little. And you also were like a Shakespeare guy.

• 39:08Speaker 03

Very serious actor. I was like tired of not being taken seriously and so I wouldn't laugh or talk to anyone. I was having like mind melting panic attacks from the ViVance.

• 39:22Speaker 03

My doctor was like telling me, he was like eight years old and had been one of the first Ritalin children. And so he was like, no, it's not the ViVance dude. It's obviously making you lose weight. You're doing awesome in school. You became, becoming a lead actor. So he upped the ViVance dosage. And then but gave me Xanax, Ambien, antidepressants. So I was like 100% drugged out.

• 39:43Stavros Halkias?

You were like, you were like the same bloodstream as Michael Jackson hours before dying.

• 39:48Speaker 03

Yeah, to do like the most busted school play you've ever seen in your life. Doing Chekhov at 17, where I kill myself in the play and have a breakdown afterwards.

• 39:58Speaker 03

Yeah. And it's like literally the last scene of that play, Yvonne, I have to go like.

• 40:04Speaker 03

  Shoot myself in the head.

• 40:05Stavros Halkias?

You must actually been awesome at that scene.

• 40:07Speaker 03

  Maybe.

• 40:07Stavros Halkias?

Cause you actually wanted to kill yourself.

• 40:09Speaker 03

I think it was pretty bad. I think I really did.

• 40:11Stavros Halkias?

  Crushed that scene.

• 40:12Speaker 03

  Right.

• 40:13Stavros Halkias?

  Damn dude, that's fucking awesome.

• 40:15Speaker 04

  Oh my god.

• 40:16Stavros Halkias?

And that's, I love to put that in the context of fresh off of like being an evangelical Christian.

• 40:22Speaker 03

  Right.

• 40:22Stavros Halkias?

You become a fucking methed out Shakespeare twink. Like right afterwards.

• 40:27Speaker 03

Obsessed with like Tegan and Sara. Listening to that like fucking crying.

• 40:33Stavros Halkias?

Tegan and Sara, straight seventeen year old.

• 40:36Speaker 03

MDMT, Tegan and Sara, so serious. Very upset with the world, become very liberal.

• 40:45Stavros Halkias?

  That's so fucking good.

• 40:47Speaker 03

Loving Obama, so happy with what he's doing.

• 40:49Stavros Halkias?

Absolutely dude. Oh, I got swept up, bro. I remember trying to like, it's so awesome Obama won. Trying to get pussy, like trying to, Obama's the man, my way into some pussy. As a freshman in college being like, isn't this a special historical moment? Can you come over? To celebrate?

• 41:09Speaker 04

I don't think I should be alone right now.

• 41:11Stavros Halkias?

It's just too joyous. Damn, what was the, Katie, do you have any kind of rebellion from your, or from like the much more localized?

• 41:21Speaker 04

  Religion?

• 41:21Stavros Halkias?

  Religion of your father?

• 41:23Speaker 04

I'm trying, um, I don't have as many fun things.

• 41:27Stavros Halkias?

No, it's okay. I'm sorry to make you follow.

• 41:29Speaker 04

  You've got an epic childhood.

• 41:30Stavros Halkias?

Making you follow him getting addicted to fucking Viva.

• 41:32Speaker 03

  To amphetamines.

• 41:35Stavros Halkias?

That's pretty early by the way, that wasn't like.

• 41:37Speaker 04

  That's impressive.

• 41:38Stavros Halkias?

I feel like Vivaans really took off later. You're an early adopter.

• 41:41Speaker 03

Early Vivaans adopter. It was limitless style. It really was.

• 41:46Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. The first time you take that shit, you're like, this is the limitless pill.

• 41:50Speaker 03

  I'm locked in, yeah, right.

• 41:51Stavros Halkias?

One of those cold brew, a cold brew. Half a dick pill, that's the limitless pill right there. Have a Cialis, and a Vivaans, dude. You're the fucking man, dude. You're seeing everything. You're looking at the major.

• 42:03Speaker 03

Writing the worst shit anyone's ever heard.

• 42:08Stavros Halkias?

Oh fuck, that is awesome. But nothing, you ever get in trouble as a rebellious youth, or were you a good kid?

• 42:15Speaker 04

I was a good kid. I did ballet. So I was always at ballet. So I was a good little girl.

• 42:20Stavros Halkias?

Did they fucking yell at you for being too fat?

• 42:23Speaker 04

Absolutely. Absolutely did. Yeah. Vicious eating disorders.

• 42:29Stavros Halkias?

Was she like a Russian lady? What kind of lady?

• 42:31Speaker 04

No, she was, uh, my main one was a Russian lady and they would just scream. They would scream at you. And they did it like the Russian style, so you had to like, you'd be like little, little kid and you'd get behind, between the bar and the wall, so that you would stay straight up and down.

• 42:50Stavros Halkias?

Oh my god, if you couldn't get behind the bar.

• 42:51Speaker 04

And if you couldn't fit, I mean, thank god I did fit, but it wasn't easy to get back there.

• 42:54Stavros Halkias?

Did you watch like a little fat girl get chewed out ever?

• 42:57Speaker 04

You know, I hate to say that for a lot of the classes, like I was probably the biggest one.

• 43:01Stavros Halkias?

  What?

• 43:01Speaker 04

And I wasn't even that big.

• 43:02Stavros Halkias?

You were one of the smallest people I've ever, like.

• 43:04Speaker 04

  I just wasn't like.

• 43:05Stavros Halkias?

You obviously now are disgus- no, she's pregnant. I was like, now you've gotten disgusting since the last time I saw you. Carrying a, like.

• 43:13Speaker 04

Gained thirty pounds since I last saw you.

• 43:16Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, thirty pounds, thirty pounds of just useless weight. No, I'm kidding.

• 43:21Speaker 04

  Don't call her that.

• 43:23Stavros Halkias?

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I fucked up so, so bad.

• 43:28Stavros Halkias?

But no, you look like a, you're small as a, like you're pregnant, you're eight months pregnant, you're like small still. So I can't imagine what you look like as a eight-year-old. You were the biggest one.

• 43:39Speaker 04

  It was awful.

• 43:40Stavros Halkias?

  That's fucking crazy.

• 43:41Speaker 04

  Yeah, it was pretty brutal.

• 43:42Stavros Halkias?

And that was your thing? You were a ballerina?

• 43:43Speaker 04

That was my thing. I wanted to be a ballerina. Yeah, I wanted to be a ballerina more than anything. And then, um.

• 43:48Stavros Halkias?

That's a very classic little girl desire. That's like one of the most.

• 43:52Speaker 04

It's just so, yeah, I just, the most like cliche girl.

• 43:57Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, but you know, that's nice. That's fun to do.

• 44:00Speaker 04

That is, yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, I'm trying to think of other fun things. My dad designed prisons.

• 44:07Speaker 04

That was the job. That's the biggest thing. Yeah. I feel like that's key to know.

• 44:12Speaker 03

Did you ever get to go in there and like draw on the like?

• 44:15Speaker 04

You know, I did go a couple of times because he'd have to go like, you know, he'd go every weekend.

• 44:20Speaker 03

  Oh my god.

• 44:21Stavros Halkias?

And we put a little nook here for raping each other away from the guards' eyes. We've got a little, you know, it's for the prisoner too, you know, they gotta have a good time.

• 44:30Speaker 04

So always tell me that like a lot of women's like, you gotta watch out because a lot of women in prison, they're there because of their man. They're there because they did something for him.

• 44:38Speaker 03

  Women's prisons?

• 44:39Speaker 04

  Both.

• 44:40Stavros Halkias?

  Wow.

• 44:41Speaker 04

  In Illinois, yeah.

• 44:42Stavros Halkias?

How do you get into, he's an architect?

• 44:44Speaker 04

He's an architect and an engineer and he did like, he worked for the state for like other government buildings and then I think he saw like a power niche in prison.

• 44:52Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, he was like, oop, this is where I fit in.

• 44:56Speaker 04

He went from like government parking structures to prisons.

• 44:59Speaker 03

That's fucking crazy. Did he put anything sick in there for them like?

• 45:02Speaker 04

I hope so. Like a nice cafeteria.

• 45:06Speaker 03

  Monkey bars.

• 45:07Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, that would be fucking funny shit. That's so funny to just be like, ah, what does that do you psychologically for like the thing you work on is like designed for essentially torture people?

• 45:20Speaker 04

Yeah, I don't know if he thought about it. I wonder what he thought. He definitely didn't think about it like that.

• 45:24Speaker 03

  No, no.

• 45:25Stavros Halkias?

  No chance?

• 45:26Speaker 04

No chance. I don't think he's like a philosophical thinker like that.

• 45:29Stavros Halkias?

You can't if you're gonna design prisons.

• 45:31Speaker 04

If you're gonna do it, yeah, yeah.

• 45:32Stavros Halkias?

Every line, every stroke of his like pen, every like click on autocad.

• 45:36Speaker 04

  Yeah, exactly.

• 45:37Stavros Halkias?

It's like people got closer to being like the most depressed they've ever been in their lives. He created sadness with every click of his mouse. And it's like, yeah.

• 45:47Speaker 03

  Listening to like Dave Matthews.

• 45:51Speaker 04

  Frank Sinatra.

• 45:56Speaker 03

We both worked on flooding prisons. We both worked on crechets.

• 45:58Stavros Halkias?

That is fucking crazy. Yes, that is fucking insane that I definitely wanted to, that is, you did improv on boats?

• 46:05Speaker 03

  Yeah, oh yeah.

• 46:06Speaker 04

Did you do the murder mystery too?

• 46:07Speaker 03

No, I'd never had to do the murder mystery. Never got to do the murder mystery.

• 46:10Speaker 04

Yeah, I had, I did that murder mystery.

• 46:12Stavros Halkias?

Cause you both basically, you did improv through like, was it the same company?

• 46:16Speaker 03

  Yeah, Second City.

• 46:17Speaker 04

  The Second City.

• 46:18Speaker 03

  The Second City in Chicago.

• 46:20Stavros Halkias?

The Second City on, in Aruba.

• 46:23Speaker 03

  Yeah, right. Yeah.

• 46:25Stavros Halkias?

  Aruba chapter of Second City.

• 46:27Speaker 03

  Cape Canaveral, Florida.

• 46:28Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's where all those motherfuckers were.

• 46:31Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 46:33Stavros Halkias?

  That's fucking-

• 46:33Speaker 04

  I actually liked-

• 46:35Stavros Halkias?

Did you grow up in Chicago?

• 46:36Speaker 04

  I did, yeah.

• 46:36Stavros Halkias?

  Yes, you did, that's right.

• 46:37Speaker 04

I actually kinda liked it. I liked meeting all those weird people.

• 46:40Stavros Halkias?

That's the craziest thing I've heard.

• 46:41Speaker 04

I think I was probably pretty unhappy, like, in my life.

• 46:43Stavros Halkias?

  Your life was bad?

• 46:44Speaker 04

You know, so I didn't like, I didn't put it together that I shouldn't like this experience so much.

• 46:48Stavros Halkias?

It can't be going good if you agree to do improv on a cruise ship.

• 46:51Speaker 04

  No, I know.

• 46:52Speaker 03

You know, you say that, though, but when I got the job, it was like-

• 46:55Speaker 04

  It was a thrill.

• 46:55Speaker 03

It's the biggest chills I've ever gotten in my life. I was like, it's about to work out. It's happening.

• 47:00Speaker 04

No, because you can envision yourself doing- You can envision yourself doing like all the other Second City stuff. You're like, this is a first step.

• 47:07Stavros Halkias?

  Right.

• 47:07Speaker 04

  They brainwash you.

• 47:08Stavros Halkias?

  SNL coming right up.

• 47:11Speaker 03

  Literally. I couldn't believe it.

• 47:13Stavros Halkias?

Well, are there, are there any historical examples of the cruise ship cast going on to- What's the, who's the most successful-

• 47:23Speaker 03

  Who's done cruise ships?

• 47:23Stavros Halkias?

  Because I'm sure there are.

• 47:24Speaker 03

  180 have done cruise ships.

• 47:25Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, there you go.

• 47:26Speaker 03

Hell of people who went to Chicago.

• 47:27Speaker 04

I think Thomas Middleditch did one.

• 47:29Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 47:29Stavros Halkias?

  Nice.

• 47:30Speaker 04

  Maybe.

• 47:30Stavros Halkias?

Maybe he was up to some freaky stuff on-

• 47:32Speaker 04

  No doubt.

• 47:33Stavros Halkias?

When there's no laws on the ocean.

• 47:38Stavros Halkias?

International waters, that's why Middleditch wanted to get in there.

• 47:40Speaker 04

I don't want to think about that.

• 47:47Speaker 03

  Man, many, many amazing talents.

• 47:54Stavros Halkias?

A man of many interests. That's so fucking funny.

• 47:58Speaker 04

I did one with Scotty Nelson.

• 48:00Stavros Halkias?

Oh, Scotty Nelson. Yeah, he's in the movie, that's awesome.

• 48:03Speaker 04

  We had a blast.

• 48:04Stavros Halkias?

And you liked, you, you were, you had a-

• 48:06Speaker 04

I didn't like the shows. I hated doing the show.

• 48:08Stavros Halkias?

Oh, really? It was the lifestyle?

• 48:10Speaker 04

I love the lifestyle. I love just like, because you're partying.

• 48:13Stavros Halkias?

  Sure.

• 48:13Speaker 04

  You know?

• 48:14Stavros Halkias?

How old were you guys when you did it?

• 48:15Speaker 03

  I was like 24.

• 48:16Stavros Halkias?

  24, how old were you?

• 48:17Speaker 04

  25.

• 48:18Stavros Halkias?

Oh, yeah. That is a great, that's true. Because I'm thinking about what I was doing in 24, 25, and it was, I was living in a $300 a month room in Baltimore doing fucking stand-up comedy in like shitty bars. It's like, I was living that and getting fucked up constantly. I was basically just doing what you guys were talking about.

• 48:37Speaker 04

But you weren't like in a bikini.

• 48:38Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, I was not, I didn't get enough sun. Yeah. Yeah, that's fucking hilarious. Was it, yeah, because everyone was just getting fucked up?

• 48:46Speaker 03

  There's that heckler that died.

• 48:49Stavros Halkias?

  You're the Grim Reaper, bro.

• 48:53Speaker 04

People would all, like, we had a couple of people on the ship die. They were always like-

• 48:57Speaker 03

People die more than you think.

• 48:59Speaker 04

People die a lot, and there's a lot of crimes, too.

• 49:01Speaker 03

There's more, there's a morgue on the ship.

• 49:03Stavros Halkias?

That makes sense, you kinda have to do it.

• 49:05Speaker 04

  There was this, like, um-

• 49:06Stavros Halkias?

So you all, you both experienced ship death?

• 49:08Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 49:09Stavros Halkias?

  Wow.

• 49:09Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 49:10Stavros Halkias?

I mean, it makes sense. It's always the oldest, fattest people that go to cru- on cruises.

• 49:14Speaker 03

Yeah, right. People go on them today. It's cheaper than a retirement home. So they'll just go on nonstop.

• 49:19Stavros Halkias?

  I have heard about that.

• 49:20Speaker 04

Those people that, like, don't have a house anymore, they're just like, we're gonna go.

• 49:23Stavros Halkias?

It's cheaper, it's cheaper, and guess what? Meals included. Like, that's how people look at it, yeah.

• 49:29Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 49:29Stavros Halkias?

  That's fucking nuts.

• 49:31Speaker 03

  It's wild.

• 49:31Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. What an undignified country. That it's like, it makes more sense.

• 49:37Speaker 03

Put him on a fucking ship.

• 49:38Stavros Halkias?

And then there's 24-year-olds doing fucking, doing fucking, uh-

• 49:41Speaker 03

The worst improv you've ever seen.

• 49:42Stavros Halkias?

  Horrible improv.

• 49:43Speaker 04

I mean, the worst, the worst. They didn't let me do anything, really, like, in the sketch shows. Like, I pretty much just stood there and smiled.

• 49:52Stavros Halkias?

  We need some eye candy.

• 49:55Speaker 04

Like, I remember even one sketch I ended up going like this.

• 49:57Speaker 03

  Boat improv.

• 49:58Speaker 04

I know, the lowest, the lowest. And being excited to do it.

• 50:04Speaker 03

It was so funny. I was so, like, brainwashed by this shit that, like, when I got onto the cruise ship and you go onto the stage on the cruise ship, you know, like, those scenes in movies where, like, an actor comes out into the giant? It's like, no one's in the seats, they have this beautiful theater yet, and they walk out onto the stage, and you can hear their, their shoes clacking. That's what I did, like, the moment we got on the cruise ship, but it's like the most busted thing you've ever seen. There's, like, Bacardi signs.

• 50:27Speaker 04

And people are coming to the shows, like, straight from the pool, so, like, wet suit.

• 50:32Stavros Halkias?

It smells like chlorine and fucking barbecue sauce.

• 50:35Speaker 03

Kids peeing, yeah, it's crazy, it's awful.

• 50:37Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, that's so fucking funny.

• 50:39Speaker 04

I have a fun story about a guy. I met this guy, 'cause you're not supposed to, like, you know, hook up with fashers.

• 50:44Stavros Halkias?

You're not supposed to hook up, what's his name in the pool?

• 50:45Speaker 04

That's the rule, that's like the one rule. You can't hook up with fashers. Yeah, but I met this guy, and I thought he was the coolest, and he was a cop. He was, like, a young cop.

• 50:53Stavros Halkias?

  I mean, Jesus Christ.

• 50:58Speaker 04

I feel like I was very lost, like I was very out of touch with them.

• 51:02Stavros Halkias?

  Oh my god.

• 51:03Speaker 04

Anything, but he like wanted to hang out, like when we ported in Tampa. Cause you have like one port day where you would be like in some random city from like 8am to 1:30. And he was, he like took me out to breakfast and then he had like all these guns in his car. And I was like, ah, and he's like, don't worry about it. I'm a cop. It doesn't matter.

• 51:23Stavros Halkias?

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I just get really pissed if people don't do what I say.

• 51:27Speaker 04

  Exactly. Driving so fast.

• 51:31Speaker 03

You got like, I got a fucking family improv show at 6 o'clock.

• 51:34Speaker 04

  You're like, I can't miss the thing.

• 51:38Speaker 04

Yeah, and he took me to some like little area and let me shoot guns.

• 51:42Stavros Halkias?

  That's pretty funny. That's crazy.

• 51:43Speaker 04

Yeah, it was like, I also could have died.

• 51:45Stavros Halkias?

A hundred percent. That's kinda crazy you did, honestly.

• 51:49Speaker 04

I think so. Cause like we were getting, you know, it was getting close to the time I had to be back and he kept wanting to like take me somewhere else. I think to hook up, cause we never actually did.

• 51:57Stavros Halkias?

For sure, that's what it was.

• 51:58Speaker 04

Yeah, but I was like, I want breakfast and I want to shoot guns, but I don't, I really want to hook up with him.

• 52:03Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's also a crazy, like just met someone, belly full of omelet. Like, it's not really.

• 52:11Speaker 04

  Tampa too, so it's hot.

• 52:12Stavros Halkias?

  It's hot. That's not prime.

• 52:14Speaker 04

  Hot full.

• 52:15Stavros Halkias?

So was he done? Was he off the, that was where he disembarked? Tampa?

• 52:19Speaker 04

Yeah, he lived and he was a Florida cop. So cute.

• 52:23Stavros Halkias?

He's probably up to some really cool stuff right now.

• 52:25Speaker 03

  Good guy.

• 52:25Stavros Halkias?

He's probably been, I would love to see that guy's post.

• 52:28Speaker 04

I'd love to see his Facebook feed.

• 52:29Stavros Halkias?

  The last couple of years.

• 52:33Speaker 04

He gave me a stuffed animal as a present to say goodbye. It was like a stuffed German shepherd.

• 52:38Stavros Halkias?

A German shepherd? Even that, even as like the, the cute stuff in his life is like used to arrest people? That's so funny. Oh my god.

• 52:48Speaker 04

So I, yeah, I loved it.

• 52:50Stavros Halkias?

How long, how long did you do that for?

• 52:52Speaker 04

I, our contracts were four months and now that I'm saying it out loud, like publicly, I guess. I probably was really miserable in my life, cause I did it for 10 months.

• 53:01Stavros Halkias?

  Oh wow.

• 53:02Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 53:02Stavros Halkias?

You did two. 10 months, two tours of duty, two and a half tours of duty.

• 53:06Speaker 04

Two and a half tours of duty.

• 53:07Stavros Halkias?

How do you do the half? You just leave halfway through?

• 53:09Speaker 04

  Half this girl got injured.

• 53:13Speaker 04

  This girl hurt her leg.

• 53:16Stavros Halkias?

Who do we got whose life is worse than this?

• 53:20Stavros Halkias?

What were you up to? You were just like young in Chicago life.

• 53:23Speaker 04

  I know, I mean, I actually had a boyfriend, but I just like wasn't.

• 53:26Stavros Halkias?

You didn't want to be in that relationship?

• 53:28Speaker 04

No, I didn't want to live in Chicago. I think I, I worked at Groupon and I just like.

• 53:32Stavros Halkias?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the, the halcyon days of Groupon.

• 53:36Speaker 04

  Did you ever work there?

• 53:37Speaker 03

  No, I worked at Grubhub.

• 53:40Speaker 03

  It's literally hell.

• 53:41Stavros Halkias?

What the fuck is going on with you guys?

• 53:42Speaker 04

  Oh my gosh.

• 53:43Stavros Halkias?

Improv on ships and working for fucking weird.

• 53:45Speaker 03

  For sixteen dollars an hour.

• 53:46Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 53:47Speaker 04

I feel like Chicago, I mean, I grew up there, so I never chose to move there.

• 53:51Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 53:52Speaker 04

But got like really brainwashed into staying.

• 53:55Stavros Halkias?

Mm-hmm. It's a good city. I mean, it's as good, you can stay there and like have almost everything bigger like New York or LA. Cause other than New York or LA, it is, I think.

• 54:08Speaker 04

  It's next up, I guess.

• 54:09Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, I mean, Atlanta's pretty cool too. Like, it's those cities that are like, they have enough of the real shit. That you can make a real career and like even in entertainment, I think you could figure it out with some traveling. So I get it and it's a cool city, a lot of artsy shit, great, its own culture, its own like really strong. So I get it. I understand why. Like Baltimore, I was never gonna stay. For me, I was like, I'm so clearly moving to New York. It's, I mean, I actually thought about moving to LA briefly, but then I was like, I can't.

• 54:37Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 54:37Stavros Halkias?

I can't do that shit, but.

• 54:39Speaker 03

I think there is a difference with improv though. If you're doing improv.

• 54:42Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, true.

• 54:43Speaker 04

  There's something sadder about improv.

• 54:44Speaker 03

For fifteen years in the same city, in Chicago, you need to go see a doctor because it's like something's up.

• 54:49Stavros Halkias?

But you could get into act, like, you know what I mean?

• 54:51Speaker 04

Yeah, but a lot of people don't.

• 54:52Stavros Halkias?

  True.

• 54:53Speaker 04

  Isn't that sad?

• 54:54Stavros Halkias?

That's fucking insane that you would do improv for improv's sake in Chicago. I mean, anywhere to be, no disrespect, you know?

• 55:01Speaker 03

Right. It was hella fun for a minute.

• 55:03Speaker 04

Do you ever do improv now?

• 55:04Speaker 03

  No.

• 55:05Speaker 04

I would never. I said a year ago, I was like, I don't think I ever want to do this again.

• 55:09Speaker 03

  I don't know.

• 55:10Stavros Halkias?

But it's so funny to me, cause like improv seems like. It's like a training exercise for other things.

• 55:16Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 55:16Stavros Halkias?

Like, it's good to have. It's good to be able to do it on your feet. And, but I also think there's different ways to get good at it. But everybody goes through this, like, so I mean, some of the funniest people come out of improv training. It's true. You know what I mean? Like, um, you guys are, you are hilarious in the fucking movie. Everybody watched the movie. Let's not forget.

• 55:33Speaker 04

  Why we're here.

• 55:34Stavros Halkias?

  Let's start a cult.

• 55:35Speaker 04

  How we got here.

• 55:35Stavros Halkias?

But, but also it's like, yeah, and then you go into acting and, and you use those skills to be funny. Or even just to write, you know, even scripts or it's like.

• 55:42Speaker 04

  To be present?

• 55:43Stavros Halkias?

  To be, wow.

• 55:44Speaker 03

  Right in the moment.

• 55:45Stavros Halkias?

  To be in the moment.

• 55:46Speaker 04

  Right?

• 55:47Stavros Halkias?

And this is where you start losing me again. And this is where I go back and saying improv sucks.

• 55:53Speaker 03

No, dude, it's amazing. Changes lives.

• 55:58Stavros Halkias?

  But, yeah.

• 56:01Stavros Halkias?

We should, this, we've had so much fun. We have not, we should do some actual questions. But we could fucking, we gotta do it again. Uh, may, I mean, when I come back here, you're, you're, you live here now and you're gonna have a small child. There's no way you're gonna be.

• 56:14Speaker 04

  I'll bring her on.

• 56:15Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, we can bring, bring her across, bring her to New York. I'll bring a baby across country. But, um, yeah, this is so fun, guys. But let's, let's take some of your ex, look, very rarely.

• 56:25Speaker 04

  I can't wait.

• 56:26Stavros Halkias?

Very rarely have we had two people that did cruise ships.

• 56:29Speaker 04

  That makes such good choices.

• 56:31Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 56:31Speaker 03

This is huge. People have been waiting for something like this.

• 56:34Stavros Halkias?

Waiting for this perspective on the podcast.

• 56:35Speaker 04

  Boundaries and advocating for themselves.

• 56:38Speaker 03

  Let's help them out.

• 56:39Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. Uh, but yeah, play us, play us some, and our good pal Eldis Fokes has, uh, sent, uh, Mystery Mo. He has sent him 10, I mean, we probably won't get to all of them, but he sent some voicemails. So I can't wait to see Eldis fuck this up just from a completely different coast and not being here. So let's see what he's got for us. What's our first question here, Mo? Do I say it and then play it or just play it? Just play it.

• 57:05Speaker 05

Hey, Stav, Eldis and esteemed guests. I'm calling about a girl I've been seeing for a while. Her shower routine isn't necessarily every day.

• 57:17Speaker 05

She usually showers when she needs to or right before coming to see me and usually she'll spend the entire weekend with me and uh it's after a while she's not you know clean it gets a little musky down there I should say uh so I guess my question is how do I how do I tell her that the the reason I'm not eating her out is because her pussy stinks she gives incredible

• 57:47Stavros Halkias?

blow jobs This is what eldest starts the fucking call like this is our first this is our first question

• 57:54Speaker 04

I think this one is easy this is easy I read in a magazine what you should do

• 57:59Stavros Halkias?

Okay great this is actually very helpful because believe it or not we've gotten this question multiple times on this podcast so please what does the magazine say

• 58:07Speaker 04

Okay so the magazines say what the guy should do or whoever whoever's about to they're like you know what I P U No you're supposed to gently be like

• 58:20Speaker 04

  Pretend to vomit

• 58:21Stavros Halkias?

You're supposed to have like oatmeal in your mouth and go

• 58:27Speaker 04

I think you're you're gently supposed to be like you know what I think would be really sexy right now is if we both took a shower

• 58:33Stavros Halkias?

Oh I mean that's that's like trying to get a baby to eat fucking vegetables like if you don't know what's going on there that's insane that's what the magazine says

• 58:43Speaker 04

That's what the I mean yeah I feel like I've seen that on Reddit I've seen it in magazines

• 58:48Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah

• 58:49Speaker 04

Never had this issue myself personally no one's ever suggested a shower to me but

• 58:54Stavros Halkias?

I have one time someone asked me to wash my dick in the sink and then you know what I deserved it

• 59:00Speaker 03

  And he did it

• 59:01Stavros Halkias?

I had an active day yeah

• 59:02Speaker 03

  Yeah yeah

• 59:03Stavros Halkias?

  Cause you know what

• 59:03Speaker 03

If you're active what can you do I mean so many so many of us are trying to be active

• 59:09Speaker 03

  You know what I mean?

• 59:09Speaker 04

  Yeah, it's brutal.

• 59:11Stavros Halkias?

Cause it was like, she was like, the, the energy was like, work with me here.

• 59:16Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 59:16Stavros Halkias?

  You know what I mean?

• 59:17Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah, please.

• 59:18Stavros Halkias?

It was like, it really was like, oh, I wanna give you head. But can you just meet me halfway? Throw a little dial soap on that brick for me.

• 59:26Speaker 04

  Dial.

• 59:28Speaker 04

  It's so harsh. I would.

• 59:30Speaker 03

I will too. You just pretend you're, you know, back in, probably before 1800 and 1900, that was everybody.

• 59:38Stavros Halkias?

  That's true.

• 59:38Speaker 03

And that was part of, part of it. And they were still getting it in, they were, they were procreating.

• 59:42Stavros Halkias?

  Yes.

• 59:43Speaker 03

Just pretend you're in a thatched.

• 59:44Stavros Halkias?

  Sure.

• 59:45Speaker 04

I like that, or can't you just kinda like not breathe through your nose or something?

• 59:48Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 59:50Speaker 03

  You could probably, yeah, right.

• 59:51Stavros Halkias?

Don't get your tongue involved, eat pussy with your bottom lip.

• 59:56Stavros Halkias?

  Don't taste or smell it.

• 59:59Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:00:00Stavros Halkias?

That's really funny to just be like.

• 1:00:04Speaker 04

No, no sound at all, cause you can't make any.

• 1:00:08Speaker 03

  Do you like that?

• 1:00:13Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. I mean, that's fucking crazy. So did we miss anything? Is there a transcription available, Mo? Or did Eldis just send you the, he probably just sent you the files, cause he's bad at his fucking job. God, I hate Eldis. There's a little more left. Okay. Yeah, yeah, what do we got?

• 1:00:25Speaker 05

She's starting to know, so I'm not returning the favor. Um, and I even think she's, Lightning suggests like, hey, maybe, you know, you can hop in the shower before we do this, or, you know, before we go. She says, nah, I'm okay, I think I'm all right. So, yeah, I just wanna know what I should do.

• 1:00:41Stavros Halkias?

  I'm good.

• 1:00:42Speaker 05

Um, how, how I should bring this up to her.

• 1:00:44Stavros Halkias?

  Nah, I'm good.

• 1:00:46Speaker 05

Yeah, I think that's it. Love the podcast. All right, thank you.

• 1:00:49Stavros Halkias?

  So hilarious.

• 1:00:50Speaker 04

If she's not gonna get the shower hint, she's not gonna get the shower hint, you have to be more direct with the, over like that.

• 1:00:55Speaker 03

  That's a, that's a sit down.

• 1:00:57Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:00:58Speaker 03

Yeah. Take her to Kava. Really serious, hey, let, pay for her Kava, get her whatever she wants on that. Extra scoops of hummus, whatever you want, girl. I need to tell you something.

• 1:01:10Speaker 03

  That shit doesn't smell right.

• 1:01:11Stavros Halkias?

That's so fucking, I mean, sometimes you are dealing with dirt balls. There are people who just don't shower enough.

• 1:01:17Speaker 03

  Right, right.

• 1:01:18Stavros Halkias?

  That exists.

• 1:01:19Speaker 03

Or they don't know how to shower. Right?

• 1:01:22Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:22Speaker 03

  I mean, are you-

• 1:01:23Speaker 04

They're just stepping in and kinda getting wet.

• 1:01:24Speaker 03

  Yeah, just a spray, right.

• 1:01:26Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:26Speaker 03

  Do you use a washcloth?

• 1:01:28Stavros Halkias?

  I'm not a washcloth guy.

• 1:01:29Speaker 03

  I, I don't do it enough.

• 1:01:30Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:31Speaker 03

But I know I sh- I can feel a difference.

• 1:01:32Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I just, I just disrespect the soap.

• 1:01:37Speaker 03

  Use bar-

• 1:01:38Speaker 04

  You're putting it, you're thorough.

• 1:01:39Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, I'm thorough, it's getting in there.

• 1:01:41Speaker 04

  That's good.

• 1:01:41Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, it's just me-

• 1:01:42Speaker 03

  Bar soap?

• 1:01:43Stavros Halkias?

  I'm a bar soap guy.

• 1:01:44Speaker 03

  Wow.

• 1:01:44Stavros Halkias?

  Like I'm in jail.

• 1:01:45Speaker 04

  What brand? Yeah, like Dial?

• 1:01:47Stavros Halkias?

  It's gentle.

• 1:01:48Speaker 04

  Okay, got it.

• 1:01:48Stavros Halkias?

No, no, that was Dial days are over, the Irish Spring days are over.

• 1:01:51Speaker 04

  Good, good.

• 1:01:52Stavros Halkias?

This is Dove with some kinda little lotion and shit. I got, I get it at Costco by the fucking, by the pallet essentially. I have soap for, I have soap for six months. I have, I have soap that allows me after the atrocious thing that you're predicting. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:02:07Speaker 03

You'll need to make an offering.

• 1:02:08Stavros Halkias?

  After the Eric event happens.

• 1:02:12Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:02:12Stavros Halkias?

  Uh, after the Ray Hillpocalypse.

• 1:02:14Speaker 03

  It's coming.

• 1:02:16Stavros Halkias?

So yeah, you gotta sit her down and be like, look, or this is one of those things where it's like, you know, vote with your mouth. Make, if you're, just stop eating pussy. And if it comes up, be like, look, I tried to get you to shower.

• 1:02:30Speaker 04

I guess that's my question, is she asking him to do this?

• 1:02:34Stavros Halkias?

Maybe he just wants to eat, but he could be a eater. It could be something he's really into.

• 1:02:38Speaker 04

I always think of those guys though who are really into it, they are, they love it, like whatever stated it, it's in. Cause that guy exists.

• 1:02:45Stavros Halkias?

Those guys might, there's guys who are like, get in the, yeah.

• 1:02:48Speaker 04

  They love it.

• 1:02:49Stavros Halkias?

  Go work out.

• 1:02:50Speaker 03

  The French style, man.

• 1:02:51Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:02:53Speaker 04

Go out, sit cross-legged for a couple hours.

• 1:02:57Stavros Halkias?

Absolutely. Get some nice probiotics in your diet.

• 1:03:00Speaker 04

  Oh.

• 1:03:00Stavros Halkias?

  Eat plenty of yogurt.

• 1:03:01Speaker 04

  Oh, God.

• 1:03:04Stavros Halkias?

So yeah, man, uh, just you gotta talk to her and ultimately this could, this is the kind of thing that could be a deal breaker. Not hygiene, not aligning on hygiene legitimately could be a deal breaker. It just also just down the line. You know what I mean? It starts with her pussy. What about, what's her house look like? You know what I mean? Do you, does she keep a clean kitchen? What's the strainer in her kitchen look like?

• 1:03:28Speaker 04

  Oh, God.

• 1:03:29Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, how much little?

• 1:03:30Speaker 03

And a little bit of hair. You know, when you pull that out and it get ripped.

• 1:03:34Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, little fucking veggies, little fucking bits of bacon and shit. Nah, get me the fuck out of here.

• 1:03:39Speaker 03

  Could be a sign.

• 1:03:40Stavros Halkias?

  Good luck, brother.

• 1:03:41Speaker 03

This could be God speaking to you through her, through that thing.

• 1:03:44Stavros Halkias?

  Yup. Her pussy's a prophet.

• 1:03:55Stavros Halkias?

  Next question for us, Mo.

• 1:03:58Speaker 06

Hi, so, um, I've been seeing this guy. We've gone on about like four or five dates now and, um, on our third date, we had our first kiss. He was, he offered to drop me off at home. So, um, we're in the car and we started kissing and all of a sudden I felt, I mean, I, he was kind of sort of moaning and, um, then I realized he had pain. And so, you know, I was a little taken aback, but I didn't say anything or like make a big deal about it, right? I just kind of said goodnight, whatever. Um, I thought like maybe that's just a one-off type thing.

• 1:04:43Speaker 06

So then I've seen him a few times since then and basically like the same thing is happening. Basically when we kissed, he just comes very quickly and his hand.

• 1:04:59Speaker 06

I don't know how to say it. And so I guess I'm wondering, like, do I, I mean, I don't know, now it's been like three times. So is this a pattern? Do I like give him more of a chance? I mean, we haven't been intimate yet, we've literally just kissed. So I'm not sure what to do here. Um, also, I mean, I like him a lot, like, other than that, he's, we have a lot in common. I think we want the same things. He's very kind, very sweet, successful, he's a doctor, like, he's very smart.

• 1:05:32Stavros Halkias?

  Doctor.

• 1:05:33Speaker 06

Um, he's also a lot older, or a little older than me. He's like forty two and I'm twenty eight. So I don't know, I would think he would kind of like, I'm just under control by now.

• 1:05:44Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:05:45Speaker 06

But anyway, I'm just wondering your thoughts and if I should like give him another chance? Or, you know, I don't know if I should just like cut my losses at this point.

• 1:05:54Stavros Halkias?

  This is fucking crazy.

• 1:05:55Speaker 06

  Yeah, thanks.

• 1:05:57Stavros Halkias?

  Wow.

• 1:05:58Speaker 03

  The hands free bust.

• 1:05:59Stavros Halkias?

Incredible. Three times in a row.

• 1:06:02Speaker 04

  Oh, my God.

• 1:06:03Stavros Halkias?

And also, she's like, he started moaning. You're kissing him.

• 1:06:07Speaker 03

  Oh, wait, wait, oh.

• 1:06:09Speaker 04

  No.

• 1:06:10Speaker 03

Yeah, how can you tell, by the way? Is it coming through the pants?

• 1:06:13Speaker 04

That's what I, I was wondering that too.

• 1:06:15Speaker 03

Or is it like a, kind of a hip, a jerk?

• 1:06:17Stavros Halkias?

  I mean, I do think.

• 1:06:19Speaker 04

  Like a moan.

• 1:06:19Stavros Halkias?

An energy, there is an energy that changes after you bust.

• 1:06:24Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:06:24Stavros Halkias?

  I think.

• 1:06:25Speaker 04

  Like the kissing stops.

• 1:06:26Speaker 03

It's a, it's a piece, certain piece that you get.

• 1:06:28Stavros Halkias?

Be like, oh. Like, I've never, I've never busted while making out with someone, but I assume it would, you would be able to tell.

• 1:06:37Speaker 03

One time I went to a, on Christmas Day, after my parents got divorced, I went to a Korean sauna.

• 1:06:44Speaker 03

With my friends, because I couldn't go, I didn't want to go home, there was no place to go.

• 1:06:47Stavros Halkias?

  I get that.

• 1:06:47Speaker 03

And so, uh, and this guy was sitting next to me in the hot tub and he was doing like the cricket thing with his legs.

• 1:06:54Stavros Halkias?

  Jacking himself off.

• 1:06:55Speaker 03

  With his thighs.

• 1:06:55Stavros Halkias?

  Yes.

• 1:06:56Speaker 03

I don't know if he busted, but I was like, I've never seen this style technique before. So I'd be curious to know, is he doing the cricket while we're making out?

• 1:07:04Stavros Halkias?

  That guy's jacking.

• 1:07:04Speaker 03

Keep an eye on his legs.

• 1:07:06Stavros Halkias?

  Sure, sure, sure.

• 1:07:07Speaker 03

Because you don't know what it, but if it is truly just a hands free style bust.

• 1:07:10Stavros Halkias?

  That's wild.

• 1:07:11Speaker 03

  That's also a problem.

• 1:07:13Stavros Halkias?

I mean, it's, there's a lot going on here, right? Like, the fact that. Okay, the first time, okay, here's the first piece of information. We gotta be Sherlock Holmes a little bit on this show. Cause you don't, you only get these voicemails. Three dates, first kiss.

• 1:07:30Speaker 04

  Interesting.

• 1:07:31Stavros Halkias?

He's 42, she's 28, three dates, doctor, right? My read on this guy, nerd that never got pussy in his life, right? Finally just sort of feels comfortable. Honestly, this might be the first time he's ever gone out with a hot girl and he doesn't know what to fucking do. It's very possible that this guy is stuck. I mean, I don't know, doctor, 42. There's a type of guy who all he's ever done is go to school, whatever, whatever. His family's very strict, didn't date, was a geek, didn't date.

• 1:08:07Stavros Halkias?

Fast forward to now and who knows how he met a four, maybe, maybe apps. Actually, apps for a guy like this might be, you know, he might look a lot better on paper because maybe he's even kinda, you know, guys sometimes hit their stride at 40, especially if they're dorks, you know? He's handsome, he's a fucking doctor, he probably is a classy guy. Like I said, he's very kind. He's not even making a move till the third date. He probably doesn't fuck that much. This might be, his dick might be in a state of being 19 years old. Right. And the fact that he busted and then he was like, oh, and then like, alright, see you later. Like, he didn't try and like, he wasn't like.

• 1:08:43Speaker 04

  Deal with it?

• 1:08:44Stavros Halkias?

He never brought it up again, you know what I mean? It wasn't, and look, maybe the first time you're like, that was embarrassing. Second time you try, and also the first time in his car.

• 1:08:52Speaker 04

Cause she said it happened three times, right?

• 1:08:53Stavros Halkias?

First time in his car, second time they weren't like in a house, like, are they hooking up?

• 1:08:58Speaker 04

  Yeah, is it escalating?

• 1:08:58Stavros Halkias?

What's going on here, right? You've been on six dates and he's coming his fucking Lexus RX three times?

• 1:09:08Speaker 04

Yeah, like they're teenagers or something, you can't go inside.

• 1:09:11Stavros Halkias?

So, so you might, even though. If you really like this guy, and even though everything about him says he's more established in life than you, you might actually be more of an adult when it comes to dating as a 28-year-old than he is a 42-year-old.

• 1:09:28Speaker 03

That's a very empathetic look, Stu.

• 1:09:29Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, that's what we do here. That's what we do here.

• 1:09:32Speaker 04

It's a chance for her to lead.

• 1:09:33Stavros Halkias?

It is a chance, and you might just have to do that. And if you get everything out of this relationship, but the trade-off is, and look, some people date somebody older because they kind of want, they want the other person to kind of be a little bit in charge, especially if they're like established, and also who knows what this girl's into sexually? I know a lot of women where this would be a real deal breaker.

• 1:09:53Speaker 04

I'm thinking, my gut instinct is deal breaker. Like, I can't see a world where this guy's so great that you'd want to deal with this.

• 1:10:01Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:10:03Speaker 04

  Oh, that's a great, that's a beautiful point.

• 1:10:05Stavros Halkias?

You need a mic next time, Mo. You can't be off, you need a mic. Mo said there's treatments.

• 1:10:12Speaker 04

  I do feel like-

• 1:10:13Stavros Halkias?

Hinting that maybe he also busts fast, but we'll never know. Yeah, he's not denying it, but I know what you mean, this might be a deal, but-

• 1:10:21Speaker 04

  But six states in, uh-

• 1:10:24Stavros Halkias?

  It's crazy.

• 1:10:24Speaker 04

  That's a lot. I feel like that's a lot.

• 1:10:27Stavros Halkias?

But we don't know what she's like, right? Like, in a world where you're okay with this,

• 1:10:31Speaker 04

  Okay.

• 1:10:31Stavros Halkias?

Let's finish this line of thinking and then we can move on.

• 1:10:34Speaker 04

  Okay.

• 1:10:35Stavros Halkias?

But in a world where you're okay with this, where you're like, you can deal with a gent- Because, by the way, this guy busts while kissing, he ain't throwing you around. You're not getting choked by this fucking guy. You're not getting, you know what I mean?

• 1:10:46Speaker 04

You're not getting the ride of your life.

• 1:10:48Stavros Halkias?

No, you're not, this guy's never railed anyone in his life, right? Never happened. So, if that's very important to you, and I see, I'm not going to judge you if it is, you're gonna have to work up, you're gonna have, the roles are gonna have to switch sexually to the point, you might have to tutor him to be good at fucking you. Is that something you're interested in? He hasn't even pulled his dick out once? That's fucking crazy. Like, if you've got, the third time, you bust while kissing on the couch or something, he's not fucking hitting the shower himself, cleaning his prick off, and then going for number two later? That's fucking, he hasn't tried to touch your tits? That's fucking insanity, so, but if that's okay with you, that's the way. You have to lead him through, like, and you have to bring it up.

• 1:11:33Stavros Halkias?

He might be so embarrassed by busting his pants. Which honestly, if I bust in my pants in that, like that's the mark of a man who's sexually immature. Cause if I bust in my pants when I was like 15, I'd be embarrassed. Now I'd be like, I would literally think it's funny.

• 1:11:47Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:11:48Stavros Halkias?

Like I would, if I was with somebody.

• 1:11:49Speaker 04

Or you'd be like, I'm sick.

• 1:11:52Stavros Halkias?

I've got that bus fast flu.

• 1:11:56Stavros Halkias?

  I'm sick.

• 1:11:57Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:11:58Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, fuck.

• 1:12:00Speaker 03

Is he, what's he saying, what's he saying afterwards? Is he going, is he going, oops?

• 1:12:05Stavros Halkias?

  Whoopsie.

• 1:12:05Speaker 04

I would love to know. Oh, no. You don't be worse though?

• 1:12:10Speaker 03

Look what you did to me, girl.

• 1:12:13Stavros Halkias?

  Trying to play off.

• 1:12:14Speaker 03

You made me bust so quick.

• 1:12:16Stavros Halkias?

You need to put that in your back pocket. That goes right in with like your, your guy is a guy who would try and play off.

• 1:12:23Speaker 03

  That's like sick. It's a compliment.

• 1:12:24Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:12:25Speaker 03

You're just so freaking high. I can't believe it.

• 1:12:27Stavros Halkias?

  You're so freaking sexy, babe.

• 1:12:29Speaker 03

It could be a medical issue. We don't know what's going on with his dick.

• 1:12:32Stavros Halkias?

He's a fucking doctor, bro. You know what I'm saying?

• 1:12:33Speaker 03

Right, right. He could be overworked too as a doctor. That could be exhaustion speaking. These doctors, American doctors, we're treating them like shit. They don't get sleep. They don't get their, you know what I mean?

• 1:12:44Stavros Halkias?

  You're so right, man.

• 1:12:45Speaker 03

Medical schools, they're all a million dollars.

• 1:12:46Stavros Halkias?

Choose them up and spits them out.

• 1:12:47Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:12:47Stavros Halkias?

So, okay, that's one. But then if we're gonna be based in reality here.

• 1:12:53Speaker 03

  He's a deviant.

• 1:12:55Stavros Halkias?

  There's just no way.

• 1:12:56Speaker 03

  Something.

• 1:12:57Stavros Halkias?

This is gonna be, you're gonna have to, at lea-, at the very least, you're gonna have to discuss this head on. And you're gonna have to be like, let's do, even if he busts once, like, you're gonna have to be the one that, at least the first time, breaks the, let's, let's get your dick, let's get naked. You're gonna have to do that. If that's not interesting to you, this might not be your guy. At the very least, you have to have a conversation about it and be like, this is okay, but we have to have sex if we're gonna be in a rela-, like, we have to see if we're actually compatible. And we can work on everything else out. And look, there's, if this guy can, if this guy busts fast, if he gets one off and then busts that quickly the second time, that's crazy.

• 1:13:36Speaker 03

  That's, yeah.

• 1:13:37Stavros Halkias?

If he busts three in a row, then it is a legitimate medical issue. There's no way, like, there's, but, you know. This is like I said.

• 1:13:46Speaker 04

I wonder if she is just like really hot, though.

• 1:13:48Stavros Halkias?

She could be really hot and he might just have never.

• 1:13:49Speaker 04

  Her voice was cute.

• 1:13:51Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:13:51Speaker 03

  Hadid style hot.

• 1:13:53Stavros Halkias?

  Huh? Yeah, sure.

• 1:13:54Speaker 03

  Whatever, Bella.

• 1:13:55Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, she could be very hot and he, my hypothesis is he's just a nerd who's never gotten pussy in his life.

• 1:14:01Speaker 04

  Yeah, inexperience.

• 1:14:02Stavros Halkias?

Just from everything I'm, everything I'm picking up here.

• 1:14:04Speaker 04

I had another scenario in my head. I don't know how long you want to stay on the call.

• 1:14:07Stavros Halkias?

  No, no, please.

• 1:14:08Speaker 04

I was also picturing like a guy, you know, forty-two, had one life, has a bunch of kids already and he's like out.

• 1:14:15Stavros Halkias?

  Oh.

• 1:14:15Speaker 04

Divorced, fresh, new, out on the scene.

• 1:14:17Stavros Halkias?

  Yes.

• 1:14:18Speaker 04

  Very nervous.

• 1:14:19Stavros Halkias?

  Yes.

• 1:14:19Speaker 04

  That could be.

• 1:14:20Stavros Halkias?

  He could, yeah.

• 1:14:21Speaker 04

  Maybe there's some anxiety there.

• 1:14:22Stavros Halkias?

That's a good point. But either way, it's a guy whose development has been arrested.

• 1:14:26Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 1:14:27Stavros Halkias?

Either he got married young in an early relationship, doesn't know how to, either way, this is a guy who does not know how to date.

• 1:14:32Speaker 04

  No, no, no, no, no.

• 1:14:33Stavros Halkias?

Whether that's whatever the scenario is, but yeah, yeah. Have you ever encountered a fast buster?

• 1:14:40Speaker 04

  In my, yeah.

• 1:14:43Speaker 04

Yeah. Probably because I'm so pretty.

• 1:14:46Stavros Halkias?

  He couldn't help it.

• 1:14:47Speaker 04

He couldn't help it. That's what he said.

• 1:14:48Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. That is how you play it off. That's the only way to play it off. I honestly have never been a fast buster, which is one of my only not, the only negative I don't have sexually is that I don't bust fast. And then it happened like once and I was literally like, I think I was like reacting with too much like, huh, that's fucking hilarious. No, truly. And the woman didn't believe me.

• 1:15:12Speaker 04

That's a great way to handle it.

• 1:15:12Stavros Halkias?

The woman didn't believe me, but I was like, this is crazy. I was like, that's so fucking funny that I busted fast. And she was just like, I mean, she was fucking weird as fuck too. I don't, maybe there was something, I didn't really like her as a person and her apartment was weird.

• 1:15:27Speaker 04

  Your body knew.

• 1:15:28Stavros Halkias?

But she had huge tits. Like, there's a lot, a lot going on here, a lot of make, so it was like, I did find her pure, like from a just attractiveness thing, I found her pretty hot. And I hated everything else. And that's the only time in my life I've busted like crazy fast.

• 1:15:45Speaker 03

Your body, your body was helping you out.

• 1:15:46Stavros Halkias?

It was to get me out of there fast. Like, you don't like what's going on here, man.

• 1:15:51Speaker 03

  Osmosis Jones butt, bust button.

• 1:15:55Stavros Halkias?

We gotta get out of here before you have to fucking pet another ferret.

• 1:16:02Stavros Halkias?

Alright, let's do another, uh, let's do another call here, Mo.

• 1:16:07Speaker 06

Thanks, love the podcast, love everything you guys got going on. Okay, so, a couple of years ago, I need your advice on this, I don't know, you know, do I let sleeping dogs lie? Or do I reach out? But, um, a couple of years ago, my friends were dating this guy. And at the time, like, he was non-existent on social media. So, like, my brain, like, okay, that's weird. And then a few months later, he pops back up on social media. So, you know, I'm an investigator, I do some digging. And basically, I find out that this guy went to jail for, um, like, choking out his ex.

• 1:16:48Speaker 06

And, um, basically has a kid with an ex-girlfriend that he lied to my friend about. He said that the last he heard that the ex-girlfriend got an abortion, and the kid was never a thing. But basically, I just discovered her Facebook, her Twitter, and the kid is very much alive and well. And I told my friend all about this, she confronted him.

• 1:17:09Stavros Halkias?

  I'm sorry.

• 1:17:10Speaker 04

I'm getting confused, I'm getting lost.

• 1:17:13Stavros Halkias?

Like, not checking up on whether your seed was born?

• 1:17:17Speaker 03

I was pretty sure they stopped that, man. That's awful.

• 1:17:21Stavros Halkias?

  Didn't check back in? Didn't?

• 1:17:24Speaker 03

I caught the vibe that it wasn't gonna happen.

• 1:17:27Stavros Halkias?

So, yeah, no more investigating necessary.

• 1:17:30Speaker 04

Wait, I got confused. So the kid, there is a child?

• 1:17:33Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, so, yes. So, just to catch everybody up, the, it's, our caller is calling in about her friend. And this child is her friend's, uh, boyfriend's, uh, her friend's boyfriend's friend with an ex that the, the potentially shitty boyfriend has lied about. Anyway, let's keep going, Mo, but that's just awesome to be like, last I heard. About your child.

• 1:17:59Stavros Halkias?

  All right.

• 1:17:59Speaker 06

And basically, he twisted everything and she came back to me and was like, I'm on his side. The ex is crazy. I believe him. But basically from then on, we haven't really talked in a year and a half. Um, but you know, I know this guy is a piece of shit. She doesn't see that. And I know he's abusive.

• 1:18:21Speaker 06

I don't know. I asked her, you know, if he's been like that to her. She said no. Um, and all the way I haven't talked, you know, sometimes like I still worry. I still want to be like a resource of like, oh, it's just going down, you know, I'll help you out. You can reach out to me. They also moved from Florida to Washington state. So literally across the country.

• 1:18:45Stavros Halkias?

  She moved, I'm sure.

• 1:18:45Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 1:18:49Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, wow.

• 1:18:50Speaker 03

  To Washington state?

• 1:18:51Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, no. Okay. Not good.

• 1:18:55Speaker 06

Literally no contact for a year and a half. We used to follow each other on social media, but there's no interaction whatsoever. And I've known this person since I was like 16 and I'm 29. So yeah, I don't know if if I let sleeping dogs lie or I reach out and kind of say, hey, checking in on you. Um, yeah, thanks.

• 1:19:15Stavros Halkias?

  Damn.

• 1:19:16Speaker 04

  That's a tough one.

• 1:19:17Speaker 03

Do you guys know that Dixie Chicks song Earl?

• 1:19:19Stavros Halkias?

  I don't know that one.

• 1:19:20Speaker 04

  I do.

• 1:19:21Stavros Halkias?

  Is it about an abusive?

• 1:19:22Speaker 03

It's about Dixie Chicks killing a man named Earl.

• 1:19:25Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, I mean.

• 1:19:26Speaker 03

  Poisoning him, yeah.

• 1:19:27Speaker 04

  That's what this guy deserves.

• 1:19:28Speaker 03

Yeah, I think he's gotta go.

• 1:19:30Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, unfortunately, this is horrible. There's nothing good that's gonna come of this.

• 1:19:35Speaker 03

  Yeah, I think.

• 1:19:35Stavros Halkias?

And I guess let me just say before, I, we will answer, but first, talk to someone who knows about the met, like, talk to a counselor about, uh, you know, like women's safety, like, talk to somebody about who's actually go to like a, you know, resources about domestic abuse, that kind of thing, what to do in these situations. Cause they'll actually tell you, instead of this dumb podcast, we were just talking about, uh, stinky pussy and busting fast moments ago. We're not exactly who's gonna help you with this. You know what I mean? Yeah, this is, we're much better. We spent a nice amount of time on that bust fast question. And this is gonna be a lot quicker than that.

• 1:20:12Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:20:14Stavros Halkias?

But I guess I would say, everything sounds so far, pretty textbook abusive relationship. The no contact, the moving away, like that's like isolating somebody from their friend group.

• 1:20:26Speaker 03

They're going to Florida to Washington State?

• 1:20:27Stavros Halkias?

  Yes, they.

• 1:20:27Speaker 03

  That's probably.

• 1:20:28Speaker 04

  Could it be further?

• 1:20:29Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:20:29Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, literally, I don't think on the continental United States, you could move further away. So, I would say it's, you should assume the worst, in a, you know, just to be safe. And this is again, my hunch, go check all this with a domestic, with somebody that knows what they're talking about when it comes to domestic abuse. But I think you probably don't want to be too crusading about this, but you want to, I think your, our caller's hunch is correct. Where it's like, just make it known that you're there for them, right?

• 1:21:01Speaker 04

That's what I was gonna say, all you can really do is like, tell your friend you love her.

• 1:21:05Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:21:05Speaker 04

You're there for her if she needs anything, wants to talk, but.

• 1:21:08Stavros Halkias?

Just chat, and like, just check in, in an innocuous way. Talk about day to day shit, so she just feels, and don't bring this up, you, you know what I mean? Like, because I think people in these situations, like, anyone, and the abuser usually can sniff out if somebody's.

• 1:21:24Speaker 04

I'm worried too about like, if she's sending emails or texts, like, he's probably looking at all her stuff.

• 1:21:28Stavros Halkias?

  Could be, yeah.

• 1:21:29Speaker 04

Or like, her social media messages and things, like, I would think the worst.

• 1:21:32Stavros Halkias?

So that's why I would say, keep it like, keep it like, what's up, let's just chat, you see a show, like, protect. So just so they know, be in her life in a way that's like, very surface level, but also that she feels a connection. And again, talk to someone who actually knows, but this is just our best guess here.

• 1:21:50Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:21:50Stavros Halkias?

Um, what do you think, maybe she should pray to the Holy Spirit?

• 1:21:53Speaker 03

I think pray to God. He's the only way out of this, don't contact anyone professional, just go right to Jesus. He can fix this for you. Don't talk to the police, nothing.

• 1:22:04Stavros Halkias?

Do not talk to the police, just write to God. Go to a fucking mega church, did you ever go to a mega church? Or was it more like community based?

• 1:22:11Speaker 03

These were smaller, kinda more even scarier style churches.

• 1:22:13Speaker 04

  That is scary.

• 1:22:14Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:22:15Speaker 04

  Less money, less pursuit.

• 1:22:17Stavros Halkias?

And he's speaking in tongues, no, right?

• 1:22:19Speaker 03

I went to a friend's church once, who spoke in tongues, and I was like, this is too far.

• 1:22:23Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah, you're like, this is demonic, this is not for me.

• 1:22:26Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:22:27Speaker 04

Did you put your hands up?

• 1:22:28Speaker 03

I was putting my hands up, yeah. Sometimes you put up one, but if you're really feeling it, it's both. That's when you knew you were fucking getting.

• 1:22:35Stavros Halkias?

  Oh yeah, this shit?

• 1:22:36Speaker 03

God's like smiling. Really wants both up.

• 1:22:42Stavros Halkias?

All right, what do we got? Great one, Eldis, another good one, Eldis. Just a nice lift the mood up. We're trying to get people to watch this fucking movie. And now people are thinking about a woman who's in dire trouble. But, you know. What's that, Mo? Thank you, thank you, Mo. Clean up Eldis's messes. Mr. Remo, the man with no mic, folks. He's sexy as hell, but he shouldn't be here. God wants him dead. But he's persevering. But he's persevering.

• 1:23:10Speaker 04

  He really did.

• 1:23:11Stavros Halkias?

  To silently produce this podcast.

• 1:23:17Stavros Halkias?

  All right.

• 1:23:19Speaker 07

Hey, Stavi, I've been a little bit of a viewer for a little bit of a long time. And I was wondering if you had any tips on how to masculinize yourself and make you super ultra masculine. As a trans man, I struggle so hard with being perceived as a man. And I think I need to know some man secrets. I need to know some things that I need to change.

• 1:23:43Stavros Halkias?

  This is awesome.

• 1:23:43Speaker 07

Should I be showering differently? Should I stop washing my asshole? Like, what should I start doing to make people perceive me to be a man?

• 1:23:50Stavros Halkias?

  Yes.

• 1:23:51Speaker 07

  Thank you, Stavi.

• 1:23:53Stavros Halkias?

Respect, welcome to the Brotherhood. So much better to be a man. I mean, truly, the all, it's like, how can you even argue? How can you look at society and then argue when someone wants to be treated like a man if they're a woman?

• 1:24:06Speaker 03

  It is awesome.

• 1:24:07Stavros Halkias?

It just makes so much more sense. It's so much easier, less danger, just a good time overall. Don't have to be pregnant. I mean, what Katie's going through.

• 1:24:15Speaker 04

  I know.

• 1:24:16Stavros Halkias?

What Katie's going through looks horrible.

• 1:24:18Speaker 04

I have to be so bad.

• 1:24:19Stavros Halkias?

You can be, it's all right. Yeah, of course.

• 1:24:20Speaker 04

  Thank you.

• 1:24:21Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah, and then arrange your thoughts about this masculine question. Me and Eric will start off here.

• 1:24:26Speaker 03

  We'll start it off, yeah.

• 1:24:27Stavros Halkias?

I mean, yeah, this is a...

• 1:24:29Speaker 03

  I'm trying to think.

• 1:24:31Stavros Halkias?

I mean, first of all... You wanna look less put together, that's number one.

• 1:24:36Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:24:37Stavros Halkias?

Look shitty. It's kinda nice. That's one of our, that's the biggest, you know, the biggest pro here is like, how low maintenance it can't, to be super masculine, it's so easy.

• 1:24:49Speaker 03

It's actually the less thought, the better.

• 1:24:51Stavros Halkias?

The less thought, the better, yeah.

• 1:24:52Speaker 03

  Go with your gut.

• 1:24:53Stavros Halkias?

Go with your gut, dress like shit, sweatpants, you know what I mean? Like, um, now you can, um, I mean, I'm not gonna tell you to get fat as shit, but that's a nice one.

• 1:25:05Speaker 03

  It helps.

• 1:25:05Stavros Halkias?

  Being a little fat helps.

• 1:25:06Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:25:07Stavros Halkias?

Being a little fatter than you are probably helps and, and look, once you're more comfortable in your masculinity, you can shed it.

• 1:25:12Speaker 03

  You can cut it down.

• 1:25:13Stavros Halkias?

It's kinda like becoming a bodybuilder.

• 1:25:15Speaker 03

  Yeah, right.

• 1:25:15Stavros Halkias?

You wanna fucking, you wanna like bulk, bulk and then you can cut.

• 1:25:18Speaker 03

  Weightlifting might be the.

• 1:25:20Stavros Halkias?

  Weightlifting will definitely help.

• 1:25:21Speaker 03

Do this thing called starting strength.

• 1:25:23Stavros Halkias?

Starting, oh, gallon of milk, go mad.

• 1:25:26Speaker 03

  Go.

• 1:25:27Stavros Halkias?

A gallon of milk a day.

• 1:25:29Speaker 03

  That can help.

• 1:25:30Stavros Halkias?

No, truly getting in the, all this kinda shit, um, I'm trying to think when I think, when I feel the most masculine, that's a great question. I, getting fucked up hands.

• 1:25:39Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:25:40Stavros Halkias?

  You know what I mean?

• 1:25:41Speaker 03

  All.

• 1:25:41Stavros Halkias?

Getting them like, like lift, you know what I mean? Like lifting weights, I've gotten calluses.

• 1:25:45Speaker 03

Get the calluses up here, play guitar and get the calluses on the tops of the fingers.

• 1:25:50Stavros Halkias?

Start to make women uncomfortable at parties. Play the guitar at a party.

• 1:25:53Speaker 03

  Yeah, right.

• 1:25:54Stavros Halkias?

  That's a fucking.

• 1:25:55Speaker 03

  Turn the music off.

• 1:25:56Stavros Halkias?

That's a, that's a fucking loser dude move. Um, yeah, I think the.

• 1:26:01Speaker 03

Get a job at Lids. Get a lanyard.

• 1:26:06Stavros Halkias?

  Become a butterfly knife guy.

• 1:26:07Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:26:08Stavros Halkias?

Like start being a horrible guy and then you can cut down.

• 1:26:11Speaker 03

  The pieces that you like.

• 1:26:12Stavros Halkias?

That you actually like, but yes.

• 1:26:13Speaker 03

  Yeah, right, right.

• 1:26:14Stavros Halkias?

  Yes, yes, yes.

• 1:26:15Speaker 03

Cause we did this when we were 16.

• 1:26:17Stavros Halkias?

  Exactly.

• 1:26:17Speaker 03

  Everybody does.

• 1:26:18Stavros Halkias?

Played guitar, everything you're talking about, yes. We went through all of that shit.

• 1:26:21Speaker 03

You find the fucked up parts.

• 1:26:23Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. So we're just saying you wanna look like a piece of shit. You don't wanna think about anything. Don't worry about your appearance. That will really help to just appear more dude like. Exactly. It's like no.

• 1:26:32Speaker 04

Also, I was thinking, just take your time with everything.

• 1:26:36Stavros Halkias?

  For sure.

• 1:26:36Speaker 04

  Like, don't rush anything.

• 1:26:37Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:26:39Speaker 03

  Yeah. No urgency.

• 1:26:41Speaker 04

Like when you're crossing the street, just take your time. Don't even, you know those guys?

• 1:26:45Stavros Halkias?

Be less aware of the, of others around you.

• 1:26:47Speaker 04

  Exactly.

• 1:26:48Stavros Halkias?

Don't worry about how other people react to you, you know what I mean?

• 1:26:52Speaker 04

  Get a navy blue comforter.

• 1:26:54Speaker 03

Oh, that's, that's actually exactly what it is, Katie. I got that.

• 1:27:00Stavros Halkias?

Of course, dude, me too, yeah.

• 1:27:03Speaker 03

But actually, you see so many more stains on that than you would think.

• 1:27:06Speaker 04

Exactly, like you need a pattern and a light color to hide them.

• 1:27:09Stavros Halkias?

  It's a bad move.

• 1:27:11Speaker 04

  Don't wash your towels.

• 1:27:12Stavros Halkias?

  Right?

• 1:27:13Speaker 03

Oh, yeah. You know what's crazy is that we have like so many fresh towels in my house and I'll let the towel go so long and I'll just forget that there's a new towel.

• 1:27:21Speaker 04

And you're just using like the same one towel.

• 1:27:23Speaker 03

It's like it's wet and I'm like, why is this happening to me?

• 1:27:25Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:27:28Speaker 03

Do shit like that, I don't know.

• 1:27:30Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, but yeah, just like, I mean, so much of it, you're, it's just gonna take some, it's just gonna take some time, but yeah. Dressing like shit, being a little, I wouldn't say, I would say wash your ass, you don't want to stink, but.

• 1:27:45Speaker 04

Cause you guys were just talking about how you're washing your asses.

• 1:27:48Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:27:48Speaker 03

Oh, I'll wash the fuck out of mine.

• 1:27:50Stavros Halkias?

We'll get, so, but you do, you don't want to stink, but you can be dirty, that's the difference, right?

• 1:27:55Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:27:55Stavros Halkias?

Smudges, stains on your shirt, all that's good, but you don't want to smell bad. You can have like something on your face, you can have your, and we said get rough fucked up hands too, that's a big one, you know what I mean? So, yeah.

• 1:28:08Speaker 04

  Get good with animals.

• 1:28:10Stavros Halkias?

  Hmm.

• 1:28:10Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:28:11Stavros Halkias?

  I'm bad with animals.

• 1:28:12Speaker 03

  You are?

• 1:28:13Speaker 04

  Really?

• 1:28:14Stavros Halkias?

I mean, I'm not bad with them, but I just don't take care of them, you know, like, I like cats and dogs, but I, I don't know anything about them, I'm not. And other animals, I'm, I'm just a city boy.

• 1:28:24Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:28:25Stavros Halkias?

I don't really know nothing about the farm or anything like that.

• 1:28:27Speaker 03

Maybe do a farms, a farm trip.

• 1:28:29Stavros Halkias?

  Okay, yeah.

• 1:28:31Speaker 04

Get handy, see how you are with them, see how you naturally.

• 1:28:35Speaker 03

But I do think horses are more.

• 1:28:37Stavros Halkias?

  More girls, girl coded.

• 1:28:39Speaker 03

But I don't know, I don't know, you could go both ways.

• 1:28:41Stavros Halkias?

  Cowboy.

• 1:28:43Speaker 04

Yeah, the whole cowboy. I'm interested in like, you know, if he's got a vision for the kind of guy he wants, because there's so many different kinds of guys you could be, it's like.

• 1:28:52Stavros Halkias?

And, and I think the, kind of talking it out, where I think we're coming at it as a way of, the way we were just saying like. Bodybuilders, when they try and get ripped, they just gain a ton of weight because you can gain a lot of muscle through fat. Try every different type of guy on.

• 1:29:08Speaker 04

  I like that.

• 1:29:08Stavros Halkias?

  Bulk as a guy.

• 1:29:09Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:29:10Stavros Halkias?

Become every type of guy, overdose on masculinity.

• 1:29:13Speaker 03

And then do the winter cut.

• 1:29:14Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, do the winter cut.

• 1:29:16Speaker 03

  Summer cut, winter bulk.

• 1:29:17Stavros Halkias?

  I don't like, I don't like being a chain wallet guy. I don't like, you know what I mean?

• 1:29:22Speaker 04

  Or a rocker guy.

• 1:29:23Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is not me. And slowly cut out, but for now, do as many dumb dude, do as much dumb dude bullshit as possible.

• 1:29:31Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:29:31Stavros Halkias?

  And then go from there.

• 1:29:32Speaker 04

Yeah, because there must have been a guy that you like dreamt of being.

• 1:29:35Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:29:35Speaker 03

  Right.

• 1:29:36Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:29:36Speaker 04

  Come on.

• 1:29:37Stavros Halkias?

Everyone kind of has that. There's a guy I see in my head.

• 1:29:40Speaker 03

  Oh, me too.

• 1:29:40Stavros Halkias?

  That's a version of me.

• 1:29:41Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:29:42Stavros Halkias?

I've said this before on the podcast, and it's so funny if you see it, because we don't have, our usual setup, we can pull shit up, but Colin Farrell in Miami Vice.

• 1:29:51Speaker 03

  Damn.

• 1:29:51Stavros Halkias?

Is who, like, is who I was like, yeah.

• 1:29:54Speaker 03

And I think he was coked out in real life.

• 1:29:56Stavros Halkias?

No, no, that, I've done, I love that movie, and I've done a lot of research on it.

• 1:30:00Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:30:01Stavros Halkias?

He says he doesn't remember filming that movie. He, he went right from there to rehab. He was so peeled out and fucked up.

• 1:30:08Speaker 04

  Wow.

• 1:30:09Stavros Halkias?

And it kind of, it really, it literally helps the performance.

• 1:30:12Speaker 04

I want to, that's a Michael Mann movie, right?

• 1:30:13Stavros Halkias?

  Great.

• 1:30:14Speaker 03

  And now he's the Penguin.

• 1:30:14Stavros Halkias?

  Great movie. Penguin's hilarious.

• 1:30:17Speaker 04

  I love that show.

• 1:30:18Stavros Halkias?

She, um, who's the girl, what's her name?

• 1:30:21Speaker 03

  Yeah, that's good.

• 1:30:22Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:30:22Speaker 03

  Oh, oh, oh, she's great.

• 1:30:23Stavros Halkias?

  She's incredible, man.

• 1:30:25Speaker 03

  She's in Palm Springs.

• 1:30:26Stavros Halkias?

She was in Palm Springs, she was, um...

• 1:30:28Speaker 03

  Christina Miladi?

• 1:30:30Stavros Halkias?

  Miladi?

• 1:30:31Speaker 03

  Wow.

• 1:30:31Speaker 04

She's in Wolf of Wall Street.

• 1:30:32Stavros Halkias?

She's the first wife. She's incredible in that. I mean...

• 1:30:36Speaker 04

She's almost too good in it.

• 1:30:38Stavros Halkias?

It is, for real, yeah, yeah. Because I was about to, because I think what the Penguin is, and this is what Joker, this is what the first Joker was, which was, they're making Marvel movies for, I know it's DC, but like... The first Joker just stole two different Martin Scorsese movies. It was Taxi Driver and it's the king of comedy.

• 1:30:59Speaker 03

  Right.

• 1:31:00Stavros Halkias?

And it's like four cinephile bros. They were like, we're gonna make a Marvel movie for them. And I like, as that, like, I felt people went too crazy calling it a great movie. It was not. It was, but it was entertaining. And it was like, hey, it's the stuff I like. It's the same shit I like.

• 1:31:16Speaker 04

Yeah, it reminds me of all the things that I love.

• 1:31:18Stavros Halkias?

It reminds me of the stuff I like, cause I'm not a comic book nerd.

• 1:31:20Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:31:21Stavros Halkias?

But the, I am a Scorsese nerd. And I feel the same way about The Penguin and The Sopranos. It just feels like.

• 1:31:28Speaker 04

  That's true.

• 1:31:28Stavros Halkias?

They're doing stuff I love from The Sopranos.

• 1:31:31Speaker 04

  And he's doing his voice.

• 1:31:32Stavros Halkias?

He's kinda doing, he kinda does.

• 1:31:35Speaker 03

  That's too much.

• 1:31:35Stavros Halkias?

  It's a little much.

• 1:31:37Speaker 04

  And their walk, too.

• 1:31:39Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. He is a good enough actor that for moments, certain scenes, it doesn't bother me. And she's incredible.

• 1:31:46Speaker 03

  She should be the star.

• 1:31:47Stavros Halkias?

She's incredible. She's like, I mean, not only she's so hot, but she's also like such an insane act, such an insanely good actress. And there is stuff to do with that character, like, it's weird how good it, how good. But it's like, yeah, it's like, shit I remember. And I gotta, I watched the first two episodes, but I'm sure the third one, they start with his little sidekick. And it kinda, I was like, I don't need to know this kid.

• 1:32:12Speaker 04

I don't need to know this.

• 1:32:13Speaker 03

  And can I just say?

• 1:32:14Stavros Halkias?

Give me the hot insane woman.

• 1:32:15Speaker 03

Can we get some real busted looking men in these roles? We don't need the hottest fucking.

• 1:32:19Stavros Halkias?

  It does.

• 1:32:20Speaker 03

  Please.

• 1:32:21Stavros Halkias?

I know. Colin Farrell in particular, it's like, it's tough, cause I love him.

• 1:32:25Speaker 03

  Yeah, I know, he's amazing.

• 1:32:27Stavros Halkias?

Come on. That's what, I mean, I said it, I said it on Caleb's podcast where I was like, I love The Sopranos, cause it's also, it's a fat, it might be more fat than Italian.

• 1:32:37Stavros Halkias?

It might be, you know what I mean? There's so many obese people in that. And it's like, never has there been a showcase for the fat, for fat people like The Sopranos. And it's like, there's somebody that could have been playing that role. I don't wanna do, it's not about me.

• 1:32:51Speaker 03

  No, no.

• 1:32:52Stavros Halkias?

I'm not trying to be Oz, Oz top. Okay? But someone's out there that can fucking do it. Although I wouldn't mind being in a couple scenes with Christine, you know what I mean?

• 1:33:01Speaker 04

You should watch the latest episode then, cause it's all about her. She goes, you see her in jail.

• 1:33:06Stavros Halkias?

  In Arkham.

• 1:33:07Speaker 03

  Oh shit.

• 1:33:08Stavros Halkias?

But it is funny, it's like.

• 1:33:09Speaker 04

And she's all young. They like make her look.

• 1:33:12Stavros Halkias?

It's like, she's hot. She, she, she'll be, she'll probably be hot forever.

• 1:33:17Speaker 03

I love that the most craziest place some people can think of is Arkham Asylum.

• 1:33:20Stavros Halkias?

Well dude, that's the most insane shit I can imagine. Watching this show, it's like, why the fuck does this have anything to do with Batman?

• 1:33:27Speaker 03

  Yeah, right.

• 1:33:29Stavros Halkias?

Make this a show about, why is it Batman? Like, it's an int- it could be a much better show if it's not tethered to all this dumb bullshit, but whatever, I'll watch it. I'll, uh, I'll, uh, I'll eat my slop.

• 1:33:41Speaker 03

Shout out all TV shows right now.

• 1:33:43Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, true. Love them all, they're so, all so good. Uh, alright, what else we got, Big Momo? Sorry guys, I'm, you good? Couple more?

• 1:33:51Speaker 04

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:33:52Stavros Halkias?

  I'm having a great time.

• 1:33:52Speaker 03

I want to P2 real quick.

• 1:33:53Stavros Halkias?

  Please do, yeah, yeah.

• 1:33:58Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, go ahead, me and Katie can handle it.

• 1:33:59Speaker 04

  Yeah, we got this.

• 1:34:02Speaker 03

What's up, Stavi? Um, esteemed guest, Eldis. I'm calling today because I got some, uh, life advice I need. Um, I'm with this girlfriend of two years, I love her, she's beautiful. Um, but when we got together, we were both big stoners. And I'm kinda getting to a point in my life, I just turned 24. I feel like my frontal lobe has, uh, formed as much as it can. Um, and I wanna take on responsibility and just be a, learn some skills and, you know, my life.

• 1:34:45Stavros Halkias?

  That's good.

• 1:34:46Speaker 03

Without, uh, smoking weed every day. And I want her to do the same. Because I want a partner that I can grow with. But whenever I broach the subject with her about her quitting weed, um, she gets defensive, um... Brings up this trauma, uh, about her past that was really fucked up. And as that like, because of that, the, the weed like...

• 1:35:20Speaker 03

Helps her. Um, which when she brings that up, I, I can't really.

• 1:35:25Stavros Halkias?

  She's got you, brother.

• 1:35:26Speaker 03

Say anything to that. Like really fucked up what happened. But I don't think that doing drugs every day is helps her get through that. I think it's kind of a Band-Aid. Um.

• 1:35:39Stavros Halkias?

  You might be right.

• 1:35:40Speaker 03

Anyway, so basically, um, well, how would you go about, uh, uh, telling your significant other that you love very much? Um, that, uh, you don't want to be with someone who kinda is a stoner. And has like weed kinda controlled their life. Um.

• 1:36:01Stavros Halkias?

This fucking guy's pissed me off a little bit here.

• 1:36:03Speaker 04

  Asking you?

• 1:36:03Speaker 03

  It's making me sad.

• 1:36:04Stavros Halkias?

No, no, I'm actually on a sober year. But.

• 1:36:07Speaker 03

I, I wanna be with her and, um, but I also wanna partner, partner I can grow with. And, um, learn things and, uh, you know, not in bed all day smoking weed, so.

• 1:36:19Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, okay, listen.

• 1:36:22Stavros Halkias?

Okay, first of all, it's all noble and everything, but let's fucking relax. You've stopped smoking weed for two fucking weeks. Now you're like, I can't possibly be with a stoner.

• 1:36:31Speaker 04

  That's a beautiful point.

• 1:36:32Stavros Halkias?

Get off your fucking high horse right now. Like, this is the guy who ju- who's just started keto. And he's telling everybody like, that muffin's gonna kill you. You know what I mean? It's like, you're being a fucking prick here, buddy.

• 1:36:43Speaker 04

He's kind of like in the honeymoon period of.

• 1:36:44Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, it's like of sobriety, yes, exactly. And he can't stop, so basically this guy that called in Eric, he, he, he, him and his girl were both huge stoners when they dated. Uh, I think he's, they're 24 now, Mo. They, so they started dating a couple of years ago. They're like in their early twenties, they both were stoners. He's quit smoking and he wants to like, in his words, kinda grow up.

• 1:37:07Stavros Halkias?

Uh, his girl, every time he tries to get her to do it, she's like, I don't wanna do it. And she has like some trump card, something horrible happened to her. And she's like, because of this, I have to smoke weed, whatever. So he gets to, they get to a wall every time he tries to say, don't smoke. And he's basically asking what to do now. He got a little sanctimonious at the end, saying he can't be with somebody who, he can't, he doesn't wanna be with a stoner anymore. Meanwhile, that's who you fucking are. Like, that's, that's like, let's not be, I'm with, I was with him on everything except the hypocrisy here, right? Um, so anyway, if you're 24, there's one, here's one universal truth before getting into the specifics here. This is the age where people start fucking, where the like, Split two.

• 1:37:51Stavros Halkias?

Yes, the people's lives start going different places, right? Like, college, everyone gets fucked up constantly. And then you check back in on your friend who was the funnest friend ever. They passed away. Yeah, exactly. He fucking, he fucking.

• 1:38:05Speaker 04

Best case scenario, they passed away.

• 1:38:06Stavros Halkias?

Best case scenario, yeah. A drunk driving accident where only he died, you know what I mean? Like, it's him versus a fucking telephone pole, best case scenario, right? And so, so this is just when this, this kind of shit happens, right? It's like this age, like, you just start to diverge. And another universal truth, mo-most relationships that start at fucking 22 or younger, for the most part, don't necessarily, you know what I mean? Like, so, there is a small, there's a chance, I won't even say small chance, but there's a chance that you guys could just be different people. I had a, I had a college girlfriend where we, when we met, we were both in the same, uh, public affairs scholarship program.

• 1:38:50Stavros Halkias?

And she, and she, she went to grad school and I was like, she went to grad school in DC and I was like, sick. And I used her, and I would go visit her and do open mics and not spend time with her. And very quickly, our lives diverged, you know? And she was like, I can't, she, obviously, she was like, I can't do this and whatever. You know, she's, God bless her, uh, no, I think she like wanted to have a family within year, within like two years. And it was like, and I was like, I mean, that's

• 1:39:16Speaker 04

  Not gonna happen.

• 1:39:16Stavros Halkias?

So clearly not me, it's insane, right? So it's like, that's just, like, that kind of shit happens.

• 1:39:23Stavros Halkias?

Now, let's give him, I guess, some actual advice in his situation.

• 1:39:29Stavros Halkias?

Is it a problem yet is my first question, you know what I mean?

• 1:39:32Speaker 03

I think just go to your rock climbing gym, chill out.

• 1:39:36Speaker 04

Like sign up for your class or whatever.

• 1:39:40Speaker 03

Just, you know, don't, don't act on this too quick.

• 1:39:42Stavros Halkias?

Right, right, right. Yeah, my, my hunch is that he's making it a problem already. It's like, has this hindered your life yet?

• 1:39:51Speaker 03

  Nah.

• 1:39:51Stavros Halkias?

  You just started.

• 1:39:53Speaker 03

And as if he's so clear minded.

• 1:39:55Stavros Halkias?

And like their lives, like their lives are at such different places. You just started this fucking bullshit. This isn't a problem yet. You're getting ahead of yourself.

• 1:40:03Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:40:03Stavros Halkias?

You do whatever the fuck, yeah, go to coding boot camp or whatever the fuck you think is gonna change your life.

• 1:40:07Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:40:08Stavros Halkias?

Like, go, let, live, live these wildly different lives that you, that he's imagining. It's like, he thinks he's gonna be a fucking Bitcoin millionaire while she's fucking watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force. You know what I mean?

• 1:40:21Speaker 03

  Fucking idiot.

• 1:40:21Stavros Halkias?

Like, like, you're not different yet, you know what I mean?

• 1:40:25Speaker 04

  Yeah, given the two weeks.

• 1:40:26Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah. Become different before you start working. Cause I know people who, I have friends who smoke weed every day.

• 1:40:34Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:40:35Stavros Halkias?

And are they as successful or like as industrious as they could be? No, but are they still really fucking successful? And like, it works for them? Yes, they are.

• 1:40:44Speaker 03

  Right.

• 1:40:45Stavros Halkias?

And maybe I would, you know, I stopped smoking weed. I just needed to fuck, I was getting too fucked up. But like, it's not like I can't hang out with them.

• 1:40:52Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:40:53Stavros Halkias?

And even now, like I'm, I'm doing a sober year. A lot of my friends are still getting fucked up. It's not really affecting, a lot of my closest friends are getting fucked up. It's not affecting our relationship. Now, our relationship is different, I know that, right? Like, but there's plenty of people in relationships that were one person sober and one, one person isn't. Could it become a deal breaker? Yes, but right now.

• 1:41:15Speaker 03

It, it feels so much worse at 24 where you're like, I remember like, you know, seeing people that weren't drinking. I was like, I could never chill with them.

• 1:41:22Speaker 04

  Oh my god.

• 1:41:23Speaker 03

Who can't body a old fashioned woman. And now it's like, you don't even think about it.

• 1:41:28Speaker 04

It's not gonna be up all night.

• 1:41:28Stavros Halkias?

No, you're so right, dude. 24, these do feel like insane life differences. You do, and I also remember I was one of these people who 20, being a stoner. Was a huge part of my identity at twenty-four, you know what I mean? Like, I was, I was one of those guys in the way like drinking bros are like, you go and you get fucked up. Like, I was never, I drank, but I was never, I was way more of a weed guy. And also, like, I'm a little older where it was like, it was still illegal, so you had a good hookup. Like, you were the, being a weed guy did feel kinda like,

• 1:42:00Speaker 04

  More important.

• 1:42:01Stavros Halkias?

More important, but like, you know, people came, if you had good weed, that was literally cool.

• 1:42:06Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:42:06Stavros Halkias?

Like, being like, oh, that guy's got good shit, you know, like, I wanted to be that guy.

• 1:42:11Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:42:11Stavros Halkias?

But, you know, these fucking kids don't know nothing about it.

• 1:42:14Speaker 03

I remember being at the grocery store.

• 1:42:16Stavros Halkias?

  Dispensaries.

• 1:42:17Speaker 03

I was like, my, my girlfriend didn't really drink very much, and I was like, it'd be so fun if we get fucked up together.

• 1:42:22Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:42:22Speaker 03

And I remember going to the grocery store in my hometown, and I saw this girl from high school that was there with her boyfriend, and they were picking up like a handle of vodka for the night. And I remember feeling so jealous of their relationship. And they both died.

• 1:42:35Speaker 04

  Stop.

• 1:42:36Speaker 03

I'm not kidding you. Badly, they died badly, and I can't go into it, because it'll give away details, but they're no longer with us. You know what I mean? So you'll change, you change.

• 1:42:47Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:42:50Stavros Halkias?

Holy fuck, dude. You, the next episode, when you go, when we do the next one, we're getting into every, we're gonna catalog, catalog every death.

• 1:42:58Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:42:59Speaker 04

Yeah, I wanna see a chart of them.

• 1:43:00Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, I think it's all connected somehow.

• 1:43:02Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, it's you, bro.

• 1:43:04Speaker 03

  Yeah, right.

• 1:43:05Stavros Halkias?

You're the harbinger of death. Um, that's so funny, too, because I remember one time, my, one of my best friends was talking about, we were hanging out, and he was like, oh, oh yeah, I'm gonna go get fucking high as shit and order takeout and watch movies with my fiance. And it dawned on me that that was possible, like,

• 1:43:23Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:43:24Stavros Halkias?

That you could do that with a girlfriend. Like, in my head, a girlfriend was like, someone you had to pretend to be a better person as you were.

• 1:43:31Speaker 04

  Completely not yourself.

• 1:43:32Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 1:43:33Speaker 03

I could listen to bass nectar with her.

• 1:43:36Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like, it literally made me like romantic. I was like, oh my God, like I could fucking get high as shit and like, maybe I can't watch John Wick, but I can watch a fucking Michael Mann movie. You know what I mean? Like, um, but that literally was a step to be like, maybe I do want that. Uh, but anyway, look dude, you're a little, don't get ahead of yourself.

• 1:43:58Speaker 04

  Yeah, I agree with you.

• 1:43:59Speaker 03

God bless you, by the way.

• 1:43:59Speaker 04

God bless you. Hey, first, yeah, God bless.

• 1:44:02Stavros Halkias?

  Of course.

• 1:44:03Speaker 04

And then goes without saying, but I think, yeah, like trying out your new lifestyle choices that you want to try so bad. And then if, cause he said that she's really important to him.

• 1:44:14Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:44:15Speaker 04

Too. So give it some time. And then if you find it's not working, then I think I would draw a harsh line and say, cut your losses.

• 1:44:21Stavros Halkias?

  For sure.

• 1:44:22Speaker 04

  And you can't be codependent.

• 1:44:23Stavros Halkias?

  Yes.

• 1:44:24Speaker 04

And like waste, you just don't want to waste yours. Trust me. Trust me. Thinking you're gonna help somebody.

• 1:44:31Stavros Halkias?

Married, has a kid. That's how much this has fucked her up. She's at a great point in her life.

• 1:44:36Speaker 04

No, I made an incredible point, but I made a lot of bad decisions, wasted a lot of time with the wrong people who waste your time. And I just don't want your time to be wasted.

• 1:44:46Stavros Halkias?

  Yes, yes.

• 1:44:47Speaker 03

  That's a good point.

• 1:44:48Stavros Halkias?

I agree. I agree. I think ultimately that's true, but I think he, yes, you said it.

• 1:44:52Speaker 04

Give it at least six months of like trying to do your own thing.

• 1:44:55Stavros Halkias?

Exactly. Cause I think you're being a little, you're just overdoing it.

• 1:44:58Speaker 04

  Too excited for your new.

• 1:45:00Stavros Halkias?

I've been there. You know how many, you know how much fucking like, how many times I've bought like workout equipment and like shirts that were two sizes smaller than what I, I'm like, wow.

• 1:45:08Speaker 04

And you're like, I'm gonna have to cut out like pretty much everything.

• 1:45:11Stavros Halkias?

My fall wardrobe has to be an XS. It's not gonna be two XS. Like just how, they're just in the package. How much still Lands End in the package I have. Like, you don't want to be that guy yet, buddy. You haven't made the changes yet.

• 1:45:23Speaker 04

  Yeah, unopened equipment somewhere.

• 1:45:25Speaker 03

I really, I ordered kettlebells on Amazon this morning after watching a Joe Rogan Action Bronson clip where they work out together.

• 1:45:32Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, that's a good workout. Yeah.

• 1:45:34Speaker 03

And I, my girlfriend did eat a cookie this morning and I was shaking my head.

• 1:45:39Speaker 03

That's not the lifestyle. I don't want to be a part of it anymore, girl. You need to give that shit up now. You want to stay with this.

• 1:45:46Stavros Halkias?

Oh, what the hell's going on? I thought I was in Los Angeles talking to Katie and Eric. But I'm, I'm keeping it fucking twisted and, oh, Ben's here? It's time to keep it twisted? We've been transported to the studio for, to keep it twisted? Alright, I guess we'll keep it twisted. Thanks to our friends at Twisted Tea with a twisted fucked up question. We don't actually know what it's called yet. We still haven't decided what the segment's called, but... Time to keep it twisted. This player's the twisted motherfucking fucked up call of the day.

• 1:46:28Speaker 05

Hey, Stavi. Uh, got a weird question. I'm not too sure if it even really matters currently in life, but something I've been thinking about for a long time. But my best friend is currently married, has been married for a long time. Let this go off and on for 10 years. But back in the day, when, um, one of the times-

• 1:46:50Stavros Halkias?

He's been married off and on? Whatever, keep it going. I think he meant the relationships have been off- I got it, you fucking prick.

• 1:46:56Speaker 05

He's been married for a long time. Let this go off and on for 10 years. But back in the day, when, um, one of the times they were off, he, or she started to bang one of my other good buddies.

• 1:47:09Stavros Halkias?

  Oh, what?

• 1:47:10Speaker 05

And this other buddy and my-

• 1:47:11Stavros Halkias?

Keep it twisted. That lady was keeping it fucking twisted as hell. Sampling the friend's cock on a break? She was absolutely keeping it. And then going back and marrying the guy? Salute to her for keeping it twisted.

• 1:47:29Speaker 05

My other good buddies. And this other buddy and my other best friend were never really friends, so...

• 1:47:35Stavros Halkias?

Okay, okay. Maybe it wasn't that twisted.

• 1:47:37Speaker 05

But she told my one buddy that she started fucking, that she wanted to have a threesome with him and I. Now, that never happened. I never did anything with her and they eventually stopped fucking.

• 1:47:47Stavros Halkias?

Now, that is, I take back what I said. She is keeping it. She's keeping it very twisted. You know, it probably goes, you know what? I won't even say it. Let's keep going.

• 1:48:00Speaker 05

Now, that never happened. I never did anything with her and they eventually stopped fucking.

• 1:48:05Stavros Halkias?

  And respect.

• 1:48:06Speaker 05

She got back with my other- Best friend.

• 1:48:08Stavros Halkias?

Sometimes you can't always keep it twisted, folks. That's a really good lesson. Sometimes you have to know to keep it just twisted enough. And I respect our caller for not, you can, you can get it over twisted and he didn't over twist it. He sounds like our friend here is keeping it just twisted enough.

• 1:48:26Speaker 05

My other best friend and they got married and fast forward, you know, 10 years has gone by, but I can never just shake the idea that my best friend's, number one childhood best friend's current wife at one point specifically wanted to have a threesome with me. So not sure if it matters anymore. Too much time has passed, but it's definitely something I think is super weird and I would love to tell him or whatever, but not sure what to do about that.

• 1:48:56Stavros Halkias?

You can tell this guy is new to getting twisted. Yeah, he does not know about keeping it twisted. In a bad way. She twisted him up too, too, too much, dude. Now, here's an example of keeping it twisted in a positive way. Having a cookout, having a couple delicious twisted teas. That's keeping it just twisted enough. You know, 5% alcohol by volume brewed with real iced tea, couple of those, that's keeping it twisted in a nice way. Yeah. Trying to fuck your husband's best friend in a threesome? That's keeping it much too twisted. But what's he even saying here? It's not like it's gonna happen.

• 1:49:37Stavros Halkias?

It's true. That it's not like it's gonna happen, but he's basically saying like, like, okay, again, this is good because I can all, childhood best friend. If Aldous's wife at some point was dating some other guy, Val is married to some completely other woman who was dating in a break between or even before, right? It, the on again, off again is weird, but even if it was randomly before you had an opportunity to do some depraved shit with like your best friend's then, you know, future wife. It would be like, that's kinda, that's weird that I was there for that, you know what I mean? Like, now, but I'm with you, it's not.

• 1:50:19Speaker 03

  It's ten years ago.

• 1:50:20Stavros Halkias?

But exactly, if this is just some other guy, he never hears about this, he never even thinks about it. And everybody has kept it twisted to that degree one way or another.

• 1:50:30Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:50:30Stavros Halkias?

I think we've all done some twisted, some twisted deeds sexually. Legal!

• 1:50:36Speaker 03

  That's why.

• 1:50:37Stavros Halkias?

  Twisted as in freaky.

• 1:50:38Speaker 03

  That's why I'm like.

• 1:50:39Stavros Halkias?

  No ditty.

• 1:50:42Speaker 03

It's just like, what is, it's like, yeah, ten years ago, like, people were, when we were young, we were all fucking doing stupid shit.

• 1:50:51Stavros Halkias?

The break is actually the hard thing, though, because she had already dated his best friend.

• 1:50:56Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:50:56Stavros Halkias?

They were on a break, she tried to fuck him essentially, and then.

• 1:51:00Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:51:01Stavros Halkias?

And then she goes and marries him, it's like, yeah, obviously, I do think, effectively, what do you do? Too much, and also it's like, what are you, best friend with his wife, you don't have to see her, you know what I mean? But it, does his friend know, is another, probably not, right?

• 1:51:17Speaker 03

It seems like he doesn't, I mean, that's the thing, like, I agree with you in theory about the ten year thing, but if I find out that like, my wife like propositioned my buddies, trying to be like, I wanna do a threesome with like, Stav and one of your friends that you're not nearly as close with as Stav. That would be like crushing.

• 1:51:39Stavros Halkias?

That would be a little weird, man.

• 1:51:40Speaker 03

That would be crushing to discover like, amid marriage, and like, it just would not feel good.

• 1:51:47Speaker 03

But I'm like, I'm even confused what this question is.

• 1:51:51Stavros Halkias?

The que, see, he's asking, I would love to tell him or whatever.

• 1:51:56Speaker 03

No, he's just saying he wants to tell him, he just says, it's weird.

• 1:51:59Stavros Halkias?

He has said, he doesn't know what he, I think he feel, I don't know, is he feeling guilty, or does he feel, it's not like, okay, here's the other thing. Your best friend, it's not like he has a right to know.

• 1:52:10Speaker 03

He feels guilty about it because of his friend, I thought.

• 1:52:13Stavros Halkias?

He was like, do you think it could possibly happen? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. But you know, that's the caliber of question. Sure, sure, sure. Again, he's not keeping it that twisted. Now I get, okay. This is a guy that doesn't, he keeps it an appropriate amount of twisted. Does not get that twisted. No, no. So, um, hmm. I mean, look, ultimately, I think your, your hunch is correct. Too much, too much time has passed. Even if it hadn't passed, it's like, you didn't fuck her. She wanted to fuck you when she was single. That's really what it comes down to. She wanted to fuck you when she was single, right? And the fact that another guy was there, this is like a hard math problem where it's like, you're thrown off by like the coefficient.

• 1:52:58Stavros Halkias?

But it's like, just take that out. First, you gotta, you gotta solve what's inside the parentheses first. And so let's take out the fucking threesome stuff. Essentially, your buddy's wife, when she was single, wanted to fuck you. She had a little wild phase. Exactly. Ten years ago. One of the guys she wanted to fuck in her wild phase was you. That's fine. You didn't fuck her. There's probably a lot of other guys too. Brother, yeah, that's the other thing. That's the thing. This is, she probably fucked a bunch of other guys. Who cares? That's part of what it, everyone is like young, whatever. And then you fucking settle down when you're done. When you're done sucking and fucking to that degree, right?

• 1:53:38Stavros Halkias?

So, you didn't do anything? The fact that she kinda wanted to get Eiffel Tower'd by you and some guy? Maybe it's a little strange, but that's it. That's the, maybe. Stop thinking about it. You just have to think about it. It's been a long time. Like that would be so. That's crazy. Crazy. What do you even get out of telling him? That would be way too twisted. Yeah, that would be so twisted. I can't even, we can't condone it. You would actually be the most twisted person in this situation. What the wife did is not wrong. She was just on a break and fucked some guys and then figured out she liked your friend enough later to fucking get married? People need time to go through their shit. The only person who would do something wrong here is you to tell him, hey.

• 1:54:20Stavros Halkias?

You would just be throwing something that even even on Elvis's example, that would be crushing. But you couldn't you it would just be so weird because you couldn't even be like, how dare you? You know what I mean? It would just be like.

• 1:54:32Speaker 03

You'd open a can of worms and like make it their problem.

• 1:54:35Stavros Halkias?

It is nobody's problem. You exactly. You would be creating a problem out of nothing.

• 1:54:40Speaker 00

I want him to do it. Tell him.

• 1:54:42Stavros Halkias?

  No, Ben, don't.

• 1:54:43Speaker 00

  Call him up right now.

• 1:54:44Stavros Halkias?

Ben, you're you're keeping it too twisted, Ben.

• 1:54:47Speaker 00

I'm sorry, dude. I'm just getting so twisted over here.

• 1:54:49Stavros Halkias?

You're keeping it way too twisted right now.

• 1:54:51Speaker 00

I'm just getting so excited by the idea of being twisted.

• 1:54:55Speaker 00

Dude, do it. You have to, man. You can't let this weight.

• 1:54:59Stavros Halkias?

  Don't.

• 1:54:59Speaker 00

You can't keep carrying this weight, man, for another ten years.

• 1:55:01Stavros Halkias?

What weight? Just at a barbecue every once in a while, you look over her and you're like, huh. She wanted to fuck me off.

• 1:55:08Speaker 00

  Who cares?

• 1:55:09Stavros Halkias?

  Who cares?

• 1:55:10Speaker 00

Especially, I would say, women like when they go through a phase, they don't even have to think you're hot necessarily. It's like if it's like a moment where they feel like safe.

• 1:55:18Stavros Halkias?

  Mm hmm.

• 1:55:19Speaker 00

You know, it's like, it doesn't matter. It's like.

• 1:55:20Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 1:55:22Speaker 00

So many people like my friend group, everybody fucked everybody.

• 1:55:26Stavros Halkias?

Well, you're a bunch of fucking freaks. You're a bunch of freaks living in a living in a fucking warehouse with no heat. So you had to fuck each other for warmth in the wintertime more than anything.

• 1:55:37Speaker 00

That's so true. It wasn't even twisted to do it, to fuck anymore. It became twisted to not fuck.

• 1:55:45Stavros Halkias?

So anyway, pal, um, look, don't tell your friend, just internalize this. It's really not that big a deal. So you you just know, most people don't get access to their friends, significant others, wild sides. They all had them. We've all had them. So you just have too much information. Don't create a problem that doesn't doesn't need to exist. And more importantly, grab a refreshing twisted tea today and. Keep it twisted.

• 1:56:16Stavros Halkias?

Whoa, whoa, I'm getting sent back to Los Angeles, man.

• 1:56:29Stavros Halkias?

Um, alright, I think we could do one more for, does he have, sometimes he highlights one to end on. Did we have anything like that, Mo?

• 1:56:37Speaker 03

  No.

• 1:56:38Stavros Halkias?

  No?

• 1:56:38Speaker 03

I'll read you the ones that are left, you pick.

• 1:56:40Stavros Halkias?

Does he, what's the last one? Is the last one a good one?

• 1:56:44Speaker 03

Man's friend just goes to him even though she owes him $500 for some editing work.

• 1:56:50Stavros Halkias?

  Okay, that's the last one?

• 1:56:51Speaker 03

That's the last one. I got, uh, man's wife loves candy is the realiest way of us.

• 1:56:56Stavros Halkias?

  Alright, let's do that one.

• 1:56:57Speaker 04

  Yeah, say no more?

• 1:56:59Stavros Halkias?

Let's end on that one. Long topic. Yeah.

• 1:57:03Speaker 03

Hey Stav, big fan of yours, love listening to the pod. Hey Eldis, hey esteemed guest.

• 1:57:09Stavros Halkias?

He doesn't love you, he's not here.

• 1:57:10Speaker 03

Uh, wanted to give a call in, ask for some advice. Um, essentially, I am trying to go through a bit of a health kick where I'm trying to eat better. Um, but my wife is a person who loves to shop for deals and she routinely finds the bags of candies or candy chocolates that are on sale and will buy them and bring them home. Um, which is great, I love that she's all about a good deal and saving money, but whenever she has these sweets in the house, I

• 1:57:54Speaker 03

am very tempted to eat them and I don't know if it would be wrong of me to ask her to stop doing it, because she deserves to have her

• 1:58:03Stavros Halkias?

This guy's so scared of his wife, he's crazy.

• 1:58:06Speaker 03

Um, or if there's any advice you can give me how to keep from that temptation, um, whether I work through.

• 1:58:17Speaker 03

Not being tempted, no longer wanting to eat chocolates and candy or have a conversation with my wife to stop buying them and filling up, not filling up our pantry, but.

• 1:58:33Stavros Halkias?

  He won't even.

• 1:58:34Speaker 03

  Buying them and.

• 1:58:34Stavros Halkias?

He won't even use harsh language in the descri- description of this.

• 1:58:39Speaker 03

I love how he's saying like, well, I really respect that she's saving money.

• 1:58:43Stavros Halkias?

On candy. It's not fucking dry. It's not shit you need.

• 1:58:47Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 1:58:48Stavros Halkias?

It's like she always gets a good deal.

• 1:58:49Speaker 04

There's no such thing as a good deal and something you don't need.

• 1:58:52Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, exactly. Truly, like, you don't, what do you, what do you, is it like, do you live in a dimension where tr- uh, Halloween is every day? What do you need fucking, what do you need candy, what do you need to save money on candy for?

• 1:59:03Speaker 04

I'm picturing like, you know, when you check out at Marshalls?

• 1:59:06Stavros Halkias?

  Yes.

• 1:59:06Speaker 04

And they have all those little tubs.

• 1:59:09Speaker 03

  It's like six years old.

• 1:59:10Stavros Halkias?

It's like shit, something you've never heard of. It's like cinnamon twists.

• 1:59:14Speaker 04

  Coffee flavored stuff.

• 1:59:16Speaker 03

  Twizzler flavor.

• 1:59:17Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Pat. Mango guava Twizzlers.

• 1:59:20Speaker 03

I also like how he was like, and she brings it home and I become tempted by them.

• 1:59:28Speaker 03

  Like, that's like sexual almost.

• 1:59:29Speaker 04

Yeah, it's like there's two problems here that he can't, talk to his wife and then two that he can't resist candy.

• 1:59:34Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, but I do love that he's like, should I have a pretty straightforward conversation with my wife? Or should I become the type of person that is not tempted by candy? He's like, should I completely, should I completely redo my, you know, the way I'm programmed? Should I become like a fucking, should I get like Buddhist monk level of like, you know?

• 1:59:58Speaker 03

You can't beat sugar. Sugar has a crazy hold over our society.

• 2:00:01Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 2:00:01Speaker 03

  You know what I mean?

• 2:00:02Stavros Halkias?

  Amen, brother.

• 2:00:03Speaker 03

  You gotta keep.

• 2:00:03Stavros Halkias?

  I'm legit, you're actually right.

• 2:00:06Speaker 03

That is a serious chemical, brother, and you might laugh about it.

• 2:00:09Stavros Halkias?

  I'm serious, no.

• 2:00:10Speaker 03

Chocolate flavored, but that is a drug that is very powerful, same as alcohol or anything else.

• 2:00:15Stavros Halkias?

We're in the weird, we're in the weird vortex of both joking and serious about this. You know what I mean?

• 2:00:20Speaker 03

  I know, I know.

• 2:00:21Stavros Halkias?

  Like, it is.

• 2:00:22Speaker 04

It's like the most addictive substance.

• 2:00:24Stavros Halkias?

It's so much, I have done every drug.

• 2:00:25Speaker 04

  I can't stop drinking cokes.

• 2:00:27Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, your kids.

• 2:00:27Speaker 04

  I really shouldn't.

• 2:00:30Stavros Halkias?

  No, she's fine.

• 2:00:30Speaker 04

  Really, really shouldn't.

• 2:00:33Stavros Halkias?

But no, I know, but like I have gotten fucked up on pretty much everything. I mean, I've never shot heroin, but I've taken plenty of pills that are the same thing. And without a doubt, can't like.

• 2:00:45Speaker 03

  Candy's crazy.

• 2:00:46Stavros Halkias?

It's so much, you could put Xanax and you, and there's like chocolate covered almonds. And I will eat the chocolate covered almond. And then like, that's what, I mean, I'm in a hotel. I'm fucked because of the little snack bar.

• 2:00:57Speaker 03

  You're getting Jordan almonds?

• 2:00:58Stavros Halkias?

Dude, they're so good. Jordan ones are good too.

• 2:01:01Speaker 03

Funniest candy on the planet. Well, I guess that's candy coated, right?

• 2:01:04Stavros Halkias?

Candy coated. Jordan almonds are interesting because Greek people use them as actually, to me, they're very, to me, they have a religious connotation.

• 2:01:10Speaker 03

  Yeah, they definitely do.

• 2:01:11Stavros Halkias?

Because Greek people give them out on a baptism. They're part of, you get a little party favor and you get Jordan almonds.

• 2:01:18Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 2:01:18Stavros Halkias?

Um, and so I just, I would cry, sometimes I would find like old ones that my mom forgot about and I would stale ass Jordan almonds, just like a fat little five year old. But, um, yeah, I mean, this guy is so scared of his wife, it's hysterical.

• 2:01:34Speaker 04

I guess there's three problems going on.

• 2:01:35Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, that's, that is the problem.

• 2:01:38Speaker 03

  Fear of wife?

• 2:01:40Stavros Halkias?

Insane wife fear. Insane wife fear.

• 2:01:43Speaker 04

  Weight gain, sugar, losing control.

• 2:01:45Speaker 03

And he's trying to lose weight. I mean, that's amazing.

• 2:01:47Stavros Halkias?

So you think that your wife values saving money on candy that it's not clear is actually necessary in your home? More than she values helping you have a healthier and longer life? You think your wife would get pissed?

• 2:02:04Speaker 04

I feel like it's a really, I don't like confrontation at all, but I think even I could deal with this one. I could be like, hey babe, I just, you know, I'm trying not to eat so much candy.

• 2:02:11Stavros Halkias?

  Can you stop buying races?

• 2:02:14Speaker 03

You should actually motivate her by doing, hire someone on Fiverr, get a kid in Sweden, wherever to design a picture of you with cum gutters. You're fully jacked, like all Savell, like Sinewee, say, this is me without candy. And if you continue to bring this into my house, our household.

• 2:02:30Speaker 04

  That's perfect.

• 2:02:31Stavros Halkias?

You're killing this guy. This man will never live.

• 2:02:34Speaker 03

He's gonna be smited by his wife for doing that.

• 2:02:38Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, I mean, I would love to talk to this guy about his relationship with his wife.

• 2:02:43Speaker 03

There might be something deeper going on.

• 2:02:44Stavros Halkias?

  There is something so.

• 2:02:46Speaker 03

He sounded very innocent, so maybe there's not, maybe.

• 2:02:48Speaker 04

What if she's like one of those, like, you know, that relationship dynamic where like someone's like force feeding the other one?

• 2:02:53Stavros Halkias?

  Ooh, feeder.

• 2:02:54Speaker 04

  Like they wanna.

• 2:02:54Speaker 03

  Oh, she's a feeder?

• 2:02:55Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 2:02:55Speaker 03

  A candy feeder?

• 2:02:56Speaker 04

And she's trying to keep him.

• 2:02:57Stavros Halkias?

I'm really scared of finding somebody like that.

• 2:02:59Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 2:03:00Stavros Halkias?

If someone like that enters my life, I'm done. If a hot woman was like, have more dessert, do you know how fucked I'd be?

• 2:03:05Speaker 04

Don't you wanna stay in bed?

• 2:03:06Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 2:03:07Speaker 04

  I can bring you food.

• 2:03:07Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 2:03:08Speaker 03

  Oh, man.

• 2:03:09Stavros Halkias?

  I would be done.

• 2:03:10Speaker 03

  That's a horror movie.

• 2:03:11Stavros Halkias?

That's who saves me. Yeah, yeah, that's truly like, that would destroy me.

• 2:03:16Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 2:03:16Stavros Halkias?

Destroy me. There is no more devious person to bring into my life than that.

• 2:03:21Speaker 04

  Baby, you hungry?

• 2:03:22Stavros Halkias?

I mean, that would kill me. Kill me. Um, so, yeah, dude, I mean, I don't know what to tell you. You're a fucking coward.

• 2:03:30Speaker 03

  God bless you.

• 2:03:31Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, God bless you. Talk to your wife. It's insane that you're even asking this question.

• 2:03:36Speaker 04

Or just say, fuck it and have a little candy every day.

• 2:03:37Speaker 03

  Or have a bite.

• 2:03:38Speaker 04

  Who's fucking here?

• 2:03:39Stavros Halkias?

Yeah, well, that's the other question. It's like.

• 2:03:40Speaker 03

  She's gonna taste.

• 2:03:41Stavros Halkias?

The other question is why, how out of shape are you?

• 2:03:44Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 2:03:45Stavros Halkias?

Does she want you? And is this a weird thing where she's like, you're too fat? And then she's also bringing candy? Like, we're really putting, she could just be a nice woman who likes buying candy. But at the same time, that's possible, but either way, you need to learn to stand up for yourself in the most minute ways possible.

• 2:04:03Speaker 03

  Right.

• 2:04:04Stavros Halkias?

I can't think of, like you just, like you just said, Katie, this is barely confrontation.

• 2:04:08Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 2:04:08Stavros Halkias?

In a vacuum, this isn't even something you worry about. So it's either you're scared of your wife or you're such a people pleaser. He's so worried about bringing anything up.

• 2:04:20Speaker 04

He's got, I'm sure he's got a whole world of problems.

• 2:04:22Speaker 03

Find some coupons for fruit or something. Pass those to her, sneak them under her pillow at night.

• 2:04:28Stavros Halkias?

  Yeah.

• 2:04:28Speaker 03

  And then, you know.

• 2:04:29Speaker 04

Oh, God, I'd hate to think that she thinks she's doing something really sweet.

• 2:04:32Speaker 03

  That's, that's, that's trash.

• 2:04:34Stavros Halkias?

  And it's all one conversation.

• 2:04:35Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 2:04:36Stavros Halkias?

It's one conversation that could have solved everything.

• 2:04:38Speaker 04

Instead, get a call in a podcast.

• 2:04:40Stavros Halkias?

Just talk to her. Also, it's just like, how much candy is in this house? Who's eating it?

• 2:04:44Speaker 03

  I don't know. There's many questions unanswered.

• 2:04:46Stavros Halkias?

What's she like? You know what I mean? Like. Is she like a little, is she a little plump? She doesn't give a fuck? Is he, is that his actual problem? I mean, there's so many questions here, folks. And we'll never get to the bottom of it.

• 2:04:57Speaker 03

  Cliffhanger.

• 2:04:57Stavros Halkias?

Yeah. I loved this question. Talk to your wife, brother. And you know what I think will really help your relationship? A night out at the movies. Don't you guys think?

• 2:05:07Speaker 03

  Wow, wow.

• 2:05:08Stavros Halkias?

You know where they got candy, but full price. Actually, we're sneaking, we're sneaking in cheap candy. Actually saves you money. The movie theater.

• 2:05:16Speaker 03

  Have your last bite.

• 2:05:17Stavros Halkias?
