• 1:00Brooke Averick?

Hi guys, really quickly before we start the episode. I had actually, or we, me and Connor, had recorded the whole episode without me realizing that the episode is actually going to come out on the big day, on Connor's birthday. So I wanted to take this time to say happy, happy, happy, happy birthday to a good, good, best friend of mine and the most amazing co-host, Connor W. What a light in my life you are. Love, light, and amazing person. A massively amazing person. Happy birthday, my love bucket. And we are going to celebrate big in a few weeks when he is in the studio in person. But for now, I just wanted to say happy freaking birthday. What a man you've become.

• 2:01Brooke Averick?

Let's, let's take it from the top.

• 2:04Connor Wood?

Hey guys, welcome back to Brooke and Connor makeup podcast.

• 2:07Brooke Averick?

  I'm Brooke.

• 2:08Connor Wood?

I'm Connor. Uh, we are in my house.

• 2:11Brooke Averick?

  We are in NYC.

• 2:13Connor Wood?

We're, they say if you're gonna make it in the big city, you, you need to learn how to shake it. And that's just what we've been doing here.

• 2:21Brooke Averick?

Well said. Speaking of shaking it, I want to flag to the visual watchers that I am wearing a standing up shirt today by accident, which means that I am not supposed to be sitting down in this shirt because it is a size too small. And I am anyway, and that it just is what it is. And it's just something I'm flagging. Thank you. It's from Tik Tok shop, of course. It's where I get all my clothings. And so the sizes are not, you don't know what you're gonna get. And so this one is a few sizes too small. So.

• 2:52Brooke Averick?

I'm also feeling like whoa today in a way.

• 2:55Connor Wood?

  Me too.

• 2:56Brooke Averick?

It's like I've been off of my routine for like five days. I've been, flew into Philly last Friday.

• 3:05Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 3:06Brooke Averick?

  Picture that.

• 3:07Connor Wood?

  I'm picturing.

• 3:08Brooke Averick?

Picture a girl flying into Philly last Friday, if you can.

• 3:10Connor Wood?

  Paint me a picture.

• 3:11Brooke Averick?

From LAX. Just try and picture it.

• 3:14Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I got it.

• 3:15Brooke Averick?

Then next Sat- that Saturday, bam, my brother gets engaged.

• 3:19Connor Wood?

  Boom.

• 3:19Brooke Averick?

And I had realized, I had forgotten the, um, when we had spoken about how unhappy we were with everyone getting engaged. Last week, I wasn't putting the pieces together that my brother was getting engaged in a few days. So I wasn't talking about him, by the way. Couldn't be happier.

• 3:34Connor Wood?

  Right. That would knock me.

• 3:36Brooke Averick?

  Mazel tov.

• 3:37Connor Wood?

That would knock me on, straight onto my ass.

• 3:39Brooke Averick?

To my brother and new sister. No, genuinely, I thought it was gonna be like, whoa, my younger sibling is getting engaged. Like, I'm going to buy a shovel and bury myself. But I truly happiness. So you can see it in my eyes.

• 3:58Brooke Averick?

I'm being dead serious. And then, try and picture me and my brother's engagement on Saturday.

• 4:04Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 4:05Brooke Averick?

Sunday, we go to the VMAs.

• 4:07Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 4:09Brooke Averick?

Try and picture a girl like me on the red carpet for one second.

• 4:13Connor Wood?

  I can't begin to explain.

• 4:20Connor Wood?

What a, what a feature film that was to watch. The two of us. And the company we kept on the red carpet. I have to explain something to everybody. Okay, I don't even know where to, I don't even know where to begin with Sunday.

• 4:33Brooke Averick?

I have two words. Humiliation ritual.

• 4:39Connor Wood?

Nailed it completely. Nailed it completely. It was like, personally, like.

• 4:47Connor Wood?

We were both completely just. Zonked out of our mind.

• 4:51Brooke Averick?

  What do you mean?

• 4:52Connor Wood?

Just like. We, we weren't even upset. We were just like dazed and confused. Were you not? Brooke hits me in the, we were in, we were in. As, so cool as, as it is.

• 5:03Brooke Averick?

No, I do want to say like, so cool.

• 5:05Connor Wood?

So cool. Should not like, I don't even, we shouldn't, we didn't deserve to be.

• 5:09Brooke Averick?

  Shouldn't have been there.

• 5:10Connor Wood?

  No.

• 5:10Brooke Averick?

So cool, shouldn't have been there.

• 5:12Connor Wood?

  So cool, grateful, bloated.

• 5:14Brooke Averick?

  Shouldn't have been there.

• 5:15Connor Wood?

  Shouldn't have been there.

• 5:17Connor Wood?

  Thankful, grateful.

• 5:18Brooke Averick?

Comes out, starts it thankful, ends it thankful, on the way, shouldn't have been there.

• 5:22Connor Wood?

  Bloated as well.

• 5:23Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 5:24Connor Wood?

  Sick.

• 5:26Connor Wood?

  Do want to say.

• 5:29Connor Wood?

The moments leading up, I was just like, I don't want to do this, I don't want to do this, like. And then Brooke hit, Brooke hits me.

• 5:36Connor Wood?

And she goes, I go, what? She hit me in that like little, little fat part of the bottom of my stomach. And. I go, what in the world? If you, if you, if you touch me there, it, it get, it brings me, I could be so calm. I could be in a red light therapy bucket. I could be, I could be submerged in red light. If you hit me there, I'd go to so angry so fast.

• 5:56Brooke Averick?

  I didn't know I made you angry.

• 5:57Connor Wood?

You hit me right there and I said, what? And there's, there's someone just breathing down the back of Brooke's shirt. Just so close to her. It was like they were Velcroed to her back. I go, what is that woman doing? One, two, three.

• 6:12Brooke Averick?

Ariana Grande. It didn't feel like someone was breathing. It felt like a gust of magic.

• 6:18Connor Wood?

Yeah, it was just, and I go, oh.

• 6:20Brooke Averick?

  Of fairy dust.

• 6:20Connor Wood?

  I go, oh, wow.

• 6:22Brooke Averick?

  It was amazing.

• 6:23Connor Wood?

I want to really emphasize, in line behind us.

• 6:27Brooke Averick?

No, like, and then she was like, excuse me, and I, yeah, of, hey, of course, go ahead. Hey, you go, you go in front of me.

• 6:35Connor Wood?

I will say, I'm not even like, like, Arnaud, obviously, that was one of the people that like I saw and I was like, you're real? I didn't know that.

• 6:42Brooke Averick?

And then Sabrina as well, we were right. Both of them look like little girl dolls, like, like, whoa.

• 6:49Connor Wood?

She touched my elbow and my eczema went away.

• 6:51Brooke Averick?

  Yes, exactly.

• 6:53Connor Wood?

Like what Christ used to do.

• 6:55Brooke Averick?

But the carpet, like truly, like I, it was hundreds of people in a dark room, kind of being pushed.

• 7:03Connor Wood?

  It wasn't.

• 7:03Brooke Averick?

And screamed at by the one woman controlling the carpet.

• 7:07Connor Wood?

  In a baseball hat.

• 7:08Brooke Averick?

It was very mean. Um, I'll be honest, and if she's watching, very mean. Um, like pushed, like hitting, like she wanted to punch everyone pretty, pretty intensely. You could see it in her eyes and I'm sure that was very stressful, but she was pretty mean to me. And so.

• 7:23Connor Wood?

Brooke, Brooke got to the point of insanity where she was just like, well, this is awesome.

• 7:29Brooke Averick?

  Well.

• 7:29Connor Wood?

This is great. This is awesome. And she says that, she says that for the fourth or fifth time, pretty loudly this time. And who turns around for?

• 7:37Brooke Averick?

I didn't, I wasn't saying it like that. I was like genuinely like trying to like self soothe. I kept saying like, this is amazing. This is like, I was like, this is amazing. Oh, this is a movie, you know?

• 7:49Connor Wood?

  No, that's what you said.

• 7:50Brooke Averick?

  Oh, this is a dream.

• 7:51Connor Wood?

Oh, this is a dream and a movie escape.

• 7:53Brooke Averick?

I was talking to myself. I wasn't talking to anyone. No one was listening. I wasn't even talking to Connor.

• 7:57Connor Wood?

Someone, well, I had, I, I hear you, but it's just like, there's so much.

• 8:01Brooke Averick?

  There's nothing to say.

• 8:02Connor Wood?

It's just like you're saying different versions of like, well, this is, this is.

• 8:06Brooke Averick?

This is a freaking feature film, like, you know?

• 8:08Connor Wood?

This is the golden age and someone had their last row with Brooke.

• 8:14Brooke Averick?

  Someone didn't like that.

• 8:16Connor Wood?

So, um, Chance the rapper turned around. Kay Brook, one of the nastiest looks I've ever seen anyone give it. I mean, he was a lot like I didn't blame him. We were saying just utter nonsense the whole time and he had been fed up.

• 8:32Brooke Averick?

Cause it well, it really wasn't like everyone pushing, shoving, we're getting screamed at, so grateful to be there, shouldn't have been there, like amazing movie. And it was very stressful. I think everyone was handling it the best way they could. I was saying it was a movie. Chance had gotten to his last straw.

• 8:48Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 8:49Brooke Averick?

That the young woman had turned into someone really frightening. It's just every, you know, everyone turned into someone that they're not proud of.

• 8:56Connor Wood?

We, we got some pics back. We got some pics back. That's all. That's the whole, I almost forgot. That was a whole damn point.

• 9:03Brooke Averick?

It was the whole damn point, but they had sent Connor down the carpet and it was my every intention to go right after him because I was, that's my, that was my every intention.

• 9:11Connor Wood?

I, they had me go out after, after Lotto, so.

• 9:15Brooke Averick?

And then I was, I was gonna go after Fibula and then they stopped me. And then I obviously can't advocate for myself. So like 30 minutes passed and like Fibula is waiting for me at the end of the carpet.

• 9:26Connor Wood?

  Why you keep saying Fibula?

• 9:28Brooke Averick?

I don't know. Is that fine?

• 9:30Connor Wood?

It's like, I feel like you're calling me by my government name. It's like making me.

• 9:33Brooke Averick?

You were Fibula in that moment.

• 9:35Connor Wood?

I said Connor Wood on the.

• 9:37Brooke Averick?

  To me.

• 9:38Connor Wood?

  On my, to me.

• 9:39Brooke Averick?

  It's always been Fibula.

• 9:40Connor Wood?

  They're like the same dude.

• 9:43Brooke Averick?

Connor Wood was in front of me and he wasn't though, because he was 30 minutes away. And then I don't know who went in front of me, but I think it was someone pretty famous because they kept stopping.

• 9:54Connor Wood?

Oh, I know who it was.

• 9:56Brooke Averick?

And leaving me to just stand there on the carpet. And this is where the humiliation ritual came in, humiliation ritual came in of just having to stand there with like, and do nothing.

• 10:07Connor Wood?

I know who it was. I have a video of it.

• 10:09Brooke Averick?

  Who is it?

• 10:10Connor Wood?

It's, it's the Marias went to before you.

• 10:14Brooke Averick?

  No, the person after me.

• 10:16Connor Wood?

  Yeah, it's, um.

• 10:18Brooke Averick?

  Or before me, I meant.

• 10:19Connor Wood?

  Um, it's, uh.

• 10:23Brooke Averick?

  Doesn't matter.

• 10:24Connor Wood?

Um, oh my gosh, she goes with one name and she's like an artist.

• 10:28Brooke Averick?

  It was really hard and.

• 10:30Connor Wood?

  Barbara or something.

• 10:31Brooke Averick?

I will say I'm so lucky to have been on that carpet.

• 10:34Connor Wood?

  It was.

• 10:34Brooke Averick?

If you ever see me on a carpet again, it's because I was drugged and, and I pulled there and I was unconscious. So that was amazing. Do you think I can say that?

• 10:46Connor Wood?

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it was just like completely anxiety inducing.

• 10:51Brooke Averick?

  That's what I meant.

• 10:54Brooke Averick?

Just some people are more anxious and introverted.

• 10:58Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 10:58Brooke Averick?

  Than others.

• 10:59Connor Wood?

It's not, it's not for the weak. It's actually not for the strong either.

• 11:05Connor Wood?

  It really is.

• 11:06Brooke Averick?

You knocked it out of the park.

• 11:10Connor Wood?

No, I was shaking really hard and I kept going, why, why did you put me after Lotto? And they were like, fucking, keep walking, you freak. You're lucky to be here. And I was like, yeah.

• 11:21Connor Wood?

  Anyways, it was great.

• 11:22Brooke Averick?

  Oh, my God.

• 11:24Connor Wood?

What was I gonna say? Oh, and our, and our commercial went live and thank you for the feedback on the commercial with Doritos.

• 11:30Brooke Averick?

  That was so fun.

• 11:30Connor Wood?

  That was hysterical.

• 11:31Brooke Averick?

I don't know. In the episode with Kat, I told everyone about the fan.

• 11:35Connor Wood?

Okay. I was wondering, cause everyone was commenting about the fan. I was like, did we talk about the fan?

• 11:38Brooke Averick?

No, I think I talked about the fan when there's that moment in the commercial where there was like air blowing on us and Connor and I like, couldn't understand the direction that it wasn't knocking us all the way back onto our asses.

• 11:48Connor Wood?

Do you mind not stumbling? And I was like, okay, yeah. Immediately stumbled, completely stumbled.

• 11:52Brooke Averick?

So I'm glad that y'all got to see that. That was definitely the like calmest version, the calmest take that we did, that they included. But that was really fun.

• 12:02Connor Wood?

I really want to talk about our wardrobe.

• 12:05Brooke Averick?

What about it? Oh, for Doritos?

• 12:07Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 12:07Brooke Averick?

What about it? That you weren't wearing underwear during the fitting?

• 12:11Connor Wood?

Yeah, that was bad. Um, they put, so I.

• 12:18Connor Wood?

I had like, um, you can't really see it. We should have taken a photo. I took, I mean, you took a photo. We'll include the photo. So basically-

• 12:26Brooke Averick?

  With your tush?

• 12:29Connor Wood?

Basically, they had us try on all these clothes and I ended up with a pair of like parachute pants, like vintage parachute pants. And I didn't wear underwear. And the thing about these pants is that they, they zipped from like the front and the back. I didn't know they had a zipper in the back. So I was like walking away from casting department and like wardrobe bidding.

• 12:54Connor Wood?

It was unzipped to like the bottom of my crack, from the bottom of my crack to the top of my crack. And it was just like-

• 13:06Brooke Averick?

  Like crack out?

• 13:07Connor Wood?

Full one, like I'm walking away just in my, in my parachute pants and my, my crack is just out. And Brooke starts laughing. And then Brooke sends me a picture-

• 13:20Brooke Averick?

So, a lot of people didn't know that, um, there was a scene in the Doritos commercial where I'm in a red dress and I'm wearing red tights with it. And I just kept it to myself. I told Connor, but you can tell him, I can tell everyone about the tights.

• 13:35Connor Wood?

I think you should tell them about the tights.

• 13:36Brooke Averick?

Okay. They were crotchless. They were crotchless tights. And it was amazing. So-

• 13:45Connor Wood?

Brooke hit the Doritos red and her crotchless.

• 13:48Brooke Averick?

  I was in my crotchless.

• 13:49Connor Wood?

Brooklyn crotchless for the Doritos carpet.

• 13:51Brooke Averick?

So, yeah, in that commercial, it was in my crotchlesses.

• 13:54Connor Wood?

  You wouldn't know because we-

• 13:55Brooke Averick?

It was in the crotchless eye.

• 13:57Connor Wood?

  And I was crack out.

• 13:58Brooke Averick?

Yeah. A lot of people might not have known that. What else?

• 14:05Brooke Averick?

I couldn't walk. So you can see in like the first second of the commercial when I'm walking to check into the VMAs counter, I'm stumbling pretty, pretty intensely. So, but it was fun. We had a great time.

• 14:20Brooke Averick?

That is like, the commercial is like something that I'm like, that was awesome.

• 14:26Connor Wood?

I don't know how I'm gonna put that on my wall, cuz it's a, it's a video. I need to-

• 14:34Brooke Averick?

You can take a still image of it to Framebridge.

• 14:37Connor Wood?

I have to, I get to go to Framebridge today. My frame is ready.

• 14:40Brooke Averick?

  Which one?

• 14:41Connor Wood?

Uh, I, I'm framing my tote bags from my tours.

• 14:45Brooke Averick?

  Oh, I love that.

• 14:47Connor Wood?

Yeah, I think it's gonna be cool.

• 14:48Brooke Averick?

  How many?

• 14:49Connor Wood?

There's three, but I'm spread, I obviously only went and got one done. Cuz I'm lazy bones.

• 14:55Brooke Averick?

Why wouldn't you just take all three?

• 14:56Connor Wood?

I freaking don't know what's wrong with me. Something's severe.

• 15:00Brooke Averick?

Are you gonna take the other two and you go pick up the one?

• 15:01Connor Wood?

Yeah, probably in the next six to eight months.

• 15:05Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it stresses, it stresses me out.

• 15:08Connor Wood?

It's hot again. Are you hot?

• 15:10Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 15:11Connor Wood?

Gabby, can you crank that down one, oh?

• 15:15Connor Wood?

  I wouldn't-

• 15:15Brooke Averick?

  It's not hot in here.

• 15:16Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 15:17Brooke Averick?

But we, um, feel free to turn the air on.

• 15:20Connor Wood?

I really just wish that I, now hang on before I say this cuz I don't want- I wish that I had like-

• 15:32Connor Wood?

Like I wish it could be like I'm on my period and that's why I'm in a bad mood and I'm sweating.

• 15:37Connor Wood?

  Like I'm having heat flashes.

• 15:38Brooke Averick?

Are you hungover at all? Cuz I am sick.

• 15:40Connor Wood?

  You had one drink.

• 15:41Brooke Averick?

No, I'm, it's not even hungover. Also, no, I didn't. I was drinking before I saw you. I got hungover like 11pm.

• 15:49Connor Wood?

We went to dinner with Brooks.

• 15:50Brooke Averick?

  It's Gabby's 21st.

• 15:51Connor Wood?

Gabby, why don't you come say hi?

• 15:55Connor Wood?

We, we have Gabby Ever here today.

• 15:58Brooke Averick?

  The big 2-1.

• 15:59Connor Wood?

In the 2-1 chair. Here, we have, here, you can-

• 16:04Connor Wood?

  And what can we-

• 16:04Brooke Averick?

You can talk into the same mic. It's okay. Don't worry, Champion.

• 16:07Speaker 01

  We like to-

• 16:08Brooke Averick?

No, don't worry, Champion. Um, we had the big 21 yesterday and Gabby got extremely toe.

• 16:17Speaker 01

  Extremely toe.

• 16:18Brooke Averick?

No, she didn't. She can handle her alcohol.

• 16:19Speaker 01

We had a great cucumber cocktail though, right Connor?

• 16:22Connor Wood?

  I had two.

• 16:23Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:23Connor Wood?

It was really great. Um, it was fun. It was super fun. Um, I wanna, I, I held Brooks' book in my hands last night.

• 16:32Brooke Averick?

  In a way.

• 16:36Connor Wood?

  You smell like cookies.

• 16:37Speaker 04

  That might be me.

• 16:38Brooke Averick?

  That's Gabby.

• 16:39Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 16:39Brooke Averick?

  She always smells good.

• 16:40Connor Wood?

  What do you have on?

• 16:41Speaker 04

  Some perfume.

• 16:42Brooke Averick?

  Parfum.

• 16:43Connor Wood?

  Parfum.

• 16:44Speaker 04

  Some LaVanilla.

• 16:45Connor Wood?

  Um, it's really good.

• 16:46Speaker 04

  Thank you.

• 16:47Connor Wood?

Can't something about cookies after that cookie I had last night?

• 16:49Brooke Averick?

  That was awesome.

• 16:50Speaker 04

We ordered two cookies and what was it toffee pudding?

• 16:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:54Speaker 04

  It was really good.

• 16:55Brooke Averick?

  That was incredible.

• 16:56Connor Wood?

  It's like phenomenal stuff.

• 16:56Brooke Averick?

Yeah, really good. We had a great night. I'm hungover in the sense that I'm just like anxious and I had been drinking for a few, I had a few drinks over the days and you know, my body is just, it's very sensitive. So, just everything like that. So you might be hungover too from osmosis.

• 17:16Connor Wood?

I don't think, I don't get hungover by osmosis. I get hungover on, on my own accord. I was shocked that I even had one drink last night because of my levels and like I was in, I was in, last week I had four shows in Washington DC, which was fabulous. I really like Washington DC. And then I had four shows in Nashville,

• 17:41Connor Wood?

  which were fabulous as well.

• 17:42Brooke Averick?

  Fabulous.

• 17:43Connor Wood?

Yeah, it is a little fabulous.

• 17:44Brooke Averick?

  You like Nashville?

• 17:45Connor Wood?

  I really like Nashville.

• 17:46Brooke Averick?

  Gabby's moving to Nashville.

• 17:47Speaker 04

Yes, on Sunday, the 14th, my big moving day.

• 17:51Connor Wood?

Oh wow, that's fun. Um, I did something completely insane that I've, I've never done and I don't think I'll ever do again. I stayed up for my flight at 6 a.m. So I finished the shows in Nashville. I wasn't gonna do anything, but then I had some friends in town in Nashville randomly. And they were like, come out with us. And I was like, I guess I'll go out, because the car picked me up at 4 a.m. And I'll stay up all night. And I'll just go straight into the car.

• 18:19Connor Wood?

I'll never do that again. I was like sitting in the shower listening to Fast Car by Tracy Chapman, like trying to make myself cry.

• 18:24Brooke Averick?

Well, then you did that and then went right to the VMAs, correct?

• 18:28Connor Wood?

And then I went out after the VMAs to an after party.

• 18:31Brooke Averick?

That is like not human. I obviously had to leave the VMAs early due to like extreme exhaustion.

• 18:38Connor Wood?

  Yeah, she missed Conan Gray.

• 18:40Brooke Averick?

I was really upset about that.

• 18:41Connor Wood?

Kind of the reason you went. Also, you wouldn't, she refused to talk to Conan Gray. He was, he was inches-

• 18:46Speaker 04

  Bro, you love Conan Gray.

• 18:47Brooke Averick?

  I know, I do. I was shy.

• 18:49Connor Wood?

Inches from us the whole time.

• 18:50Brooke Averick?

I do love him a very, very good bit. I miss Sombra too.

• 18:54Connor Wood?

  Sombra was-

• 18:55Brooke Averick?

  What did Sombra sing?

• 18:57Connor Wood?

  Um-

• 18:57Brooke Averick?

Did he sing? "I don't wanna..."

• 18:59Connor Wood?

Yes, he sang that, and that was emotional.

• 19:02Brooke Averick?

Can you believe a 19-year-old wrote the lyrics? Don't tell me. "I don't want..."

• 19:11Brooke Averick?

"To look..." No, no, it's not the undressed, it's something about the eye.

• 19:14Connor Wood?

In a room full of people, I look for you?

• 19:16Brooke Averick?

  No, no, God, no.

• 19:17Connor Wood?

  Fuck, okay.

• 19:18Brooke Averick?

  The one where he's like, "I don't, I don't want the man..."

• 19:22Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 19:22Brooke Averick?

"Of an..." I don't want the-

• 19:24Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 19:24Brooke Averick?

Woman, I don't want the kid of a woman I love to have, I don't want another guy's eyes to be on the face of-

• 19:37Connor Wood?

  Shut the fuck up.

• 19:38Brooke Averick?

Of the little kid, I don't want another-

• 19:40Connor Wood?

I don't want, yeah, I don't want your eyes on my-

• 19:44Brooke Averick?

Now, listen to what Sombra wrote. I don't-

• 19:46Connor Wood?

Maybe you should, maybe you should listen to what Sombra wrote.

• 19:49Brooke Averick?

Let's look it up. Try and be a little sweeter, my sister's here. "I don't want the eyes of another man on the kid of a woman that I'm in love with kid."

• 20:02Brooke Averick?

I don't know how much more clear I can be.

• 20:05Connor Wood?

  Alright.

• 20:06Brooke Averick?

  Izzy, you know it?

• 20:07Speaker 05

"I don't want the children of another man to have the eyes of the girls I won't, the girl I won't forget."

• 20:13Brooke Averick?

  What did I just say?

• 20:14Connor Wood?

  You were close.

• 20:15Brooke Averick?

  What did I just say?

• 21:18Connor Wood?

  In so many words.

• 21:19Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it was the message, the sentiment was the same and that's all the language is, is communicating the sentiment.

• 21:24Connor Wood?

The sentiment of what you said was, there was a fire in the Bronx last night that killed 20 people in a fire in the Bronx last night.

• 21:30Brooke Averick?

  Did it?

• 21:30Connor Wood?

  Due to the heat.

• 21:31Brooke Averick?

  Did it?

• 21:32Connor Wood?

Due to the heat that was too hot for their bodies.

• 21:34Brooke Averick?

Did it? Answer me one thing, did it?

• 21:37Connor Wood?

I don't know, I don't know, I don't know what you said. Try to say it again.

• 21:41Brooke Averick?

  Oh, sorry.

• 21:42Connor Wood?

It's hot as, it's hot as.

• 21:44Brooke Averick?

  Oh, really?

• 21:47Connor Wood?

The fire in the Bronx last night that killed 20 in the Bronx is right now.

• 21:50Brooke Averick?

Okay, I will come back whenever.

• 21:52Connor Wood?

Happening under my, under my niche.

• 21:55Connor Wood?

Can you pump that down just one?

• 21:59Connor Wood?

It says it's 65, there's just not a chance in hell.

• 22:04Brooke Averick?

My extra padding keeps me warm because of my excess shirt.

• 22:08Connor Wood?

What do you mean your extra padding?

• 22:09Brooke Averick?

Like, like, just like the padding of my body.

• 22:15Connor Wood?

I don't want that my future children to have the eyes of the woman I loved?

• 22:19Brooke Averick?

No, god, no. I don't want my kids to have the eyes of another man mixed with the woman that I love on the kid.

• 22:30Brooke Averick?

  What are you not getting?

• 22:31Connor Wood?

  What are you talking about?

• 22:34Brooke Averick?

  What are you?

• 22:34Connor Wood?

  I don't know, like.

• 22:37Brooke Averick?

Listen, now what he's saying is that he doesn't want any kids.

• 22:46Brooke Averick?

He doesn't want the woman that he loves to have a kid with somebody, some other guy's eyes.

• 22:50Connor Wood?

  Like, no shit?

• 22:51Brooke Averick?

  Exactly, no shit, but like.

• 22:53Connor Wood?

The eyes have nothing to do with it. He doesn't want the woman that he loves to have a kid with someone else. That's it, that's what he's saying.

• 22:59Brooke Averick?

No, he doesn't want her eyes on a kid with another guy.

• 23:06Connor Wood?

  I agree.

• 23:07Brooke Averick?

I don't want the children of another man to have the eyes of the woman that I loved. That's it.

• 23:12Connor Wood?

  That is it.

• 23:14Brooke Averick?

  Got there.

• 23:15Connor Wood?

I know, but he's just saying like, just like, I, like, like. Yeah. Like, don't have, I, I, like, I want you.

• 23:25Brooke Averick?

  Well said.

• 23:26Connor Wood?

  He is-

• 23:26Brooke Averick?

  You should write a song.

• 23:27Connor Wood?

Somber is the tallest man that's ever lived, and I'm worried about if, if he's gonna keep growing. Cause I don't-

• 23:33Brooke Averick?

  Somber's, like-

• 23:33Connor Wood?

  I don't think he's done.

• 23:34Brooke Averick?

  Just turned 20.

• 23:35Connor Wood?

I don't think he's, yeah, he's not done growing, and he's, he's using up so much res- resources. We don't have, like, water is, fresh water is running out.

• 23:44Brooke Averick?

  He's 6'7".

• 23:45Connor Wood?

I am very, his head was almost hitting the ceiling of the UBS arena. He needs to be careful too, cause the way he, um, bends, it's almost a 90-degree angle, and I can't- You don't wanna be at a 90-degree angle often.

• 24:01Brooke Averick?

He reminds me of the thing outside of the mega marquee.

• 24:04Connor Wood?

  Mega marquee. The-

• 24:07Brooke Averick?

Out of the side of the mega marquee with Klaus.

• 24:09Connor Wood?

I mean, he pulls it off, though, man. He's gotta be all of 45 pounds.

• 24:14Brooke Averick?

  He is goals.

• 24:15Connor Wood?

  Is he American?

• 24:17Brooke Averick?

I was about to say, like, what kind of name is somber? Like, from what, what country of origin is somber? I don't know.

• 24:26Connor Wood?

I don't either. He feels Canadian to me.

• 24:30Connor Wood?

You know when someone just gives you Canadian vibes?

• 24:33Brooke Averick?

He grew up in the, in New York. Wait, what is Somber's birth name?

• 24:37Connor Wood?

  New York? Like, New York?

• 24:39Brooke Averick?

Don't look. What, what do you think Somber's birth name is?

• 24:45Brooke Averick?

  I'm gonna go with Samuel.

• 24:47Connor Wood?

I'm gonna go with, like, Mike, Michael, Mikey.

• 24:51Brooke Averick?

  Ooh, Shane Michael. Boos.

• 24:54Connor Wood?

  Boos.

• 24:57Brooke Averick?

  Shane.

• 24:57Connor Wood?

  Shane Michael Boos.

• 24:58Brooke Averick?

  How did he get somber?

• 25:00Connor Wood?

  S-O, there's an O in Boos.

• 25:06Connor Wood?

  I mean-

• 25:11Brooke Averick?

  He's Irish and Ashkenazi Jew-ish.

• 25:15Brooke Averick?

  Cool.

• 25:16Connor Wood?

Lower East Side, oh, yeah, okay, this is all making sense.

• 25:19Brooke Averick?

This is a true born New Yorker.

• 25:20Connor Wood?

  There's a website called ethnicityofcelebs.com.

• 25:23Brooke Averick?

You wanna see if we're on it? I'm sure we're not.

• 25:26Connor Wood?

  Sure.

• 25:29Brooke Averick?

  Seems legit.

• 25:30Connor Wood?

  Should we submit a celeb?

• 25:33Brooke Averick?

  Oh, wow. AJ Mashaka.

• 25:38Brooke Averick?

No, not gonna be on there right now, champ. Um, okay. Connor Franta.

• 25:45Connor Wood?

  Oh, what is his?

• 25:48Brooke Averick?

  White.

• 25:50Brooke Averick?

Scottish. I can see him being-

• 25:52Connor Wood?

Oh, look at that picture of young, young him.

• 25:54Brooke Averick?

  I just saw-

• 25:55Connor Wood?

Polish, Czech, German, English, Irish, Swiss, German, Danish, comma, white.

• 26:00Brooke Averick?

Okay, so all of those besides Scottish.

• 26:04Brooke Averick?

  Cool.

• 26:04Connor Wood?

Yeah, that was great. Um, yeah, Sombra was really, Sombra was just so good.

• 26:08Brooke Averick?

I, I can't believe I missed them. Even though I had just left, but couldn't, I couldn't hang. Sleepy girl. Sombra wouldn't understand.

• 26:21Connor Wood?

I know. I wonder how much sleep he needs to fulfill his bodies.

• 26:25Brooke Averick?

I feel like he doesn't need a lot of, a lot of sleep.

• 26:29Connor Wood?

He is, he fulfills that, like Timothy Chalamet thing, but his pure, the, his stat, his pure stature is just like,

• 26:39Connor Wood?

careful, you know? I feel like he could fold in half like a lawn chair.

• 26:45Connor Wood?

You fold him up like his legs should fold up to his-

• 26:48Brooke Averick?

I'm sure he knows how to navigate his, his body.

• 26:51Connor Wood?

I guess he's been in it.

• 26:52Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 26:52Connor Wood?

  How, 23 years?

• 26:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, 20.

• 26:55Connor Wood?

  20?

• 26:59Connor Wood?

  Good for him.

• 27:00Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 27:02Connor Wood?

They invented him last Thursday, by the way. I had not heard of Sombra and then all of a sudden, like, this is like number, this is number one, he's getting a moon man.

• 27:10Brooke Averick?

Oh, no, Sombra. I've been like on Sombra Talk for a really long time.

• 27:13Connor Wood?

That's fascinating. I had not heard of-

• 27:15Brooke Averick?

Undressed was really big for a while.

• 27:17Connor Wood?

Undressed came on my radio station because I was listening to Royal Otis. And then they, he, he, he, he auto-populated on there and I was like, I've been listening to this radio station on Spotify forever. And then now there's this young man and never in my wildest dreams would I say 20 years old.

• 27:35Brooke Averick?

Yeah, he was 19 when I first heard him.

• 27:37Connor Wood?

  You were in high school.

• 27:39Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 27:39Connor Wood?

  To me.

• 27:40Brooke Averick?

  Well, he's ascended.

• 27:44Brooke Averick?

It's amazing. I'm happy for him. I really like the guy.

• 27:46Connor Wood?

  Flarsar. When do you leave?

• 27:49Brooke Averick?

  New York, tomorrow.

• 27:50Connor Wood?

  Damn, what time?

• 27:52Brooke Averick?

  In the morning.

• 27:53Connor Wood?

  Damn.

• 27:54Brooke Averick?

I have to get back to my cats. I like feel very sick being away.

• 27:59Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 27:59Brooke Averick?

And then there's always like on the first day I'm here, I'm like, ah, I'm moving here. And then on the last day, I'm like, ah, I can't ever come back.

• 28:07Connor Wood?

That's crazy because today I walked around like this morning and I was like, this is so dreamy.

• 28:13Brooke Averick?

  Paradise.

• 28:14Connor Wood?

  Yeah. Yeah, huge.

• 28:16Brooke Averick?

I was having paradise. I was walking in my stilettos. I was walking in my stilettos and power suit yesterday.

• 28:23Brooke Averick?

My stilettos and I felt like the business bitch and I felt amazing.

• 28:27Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 28:28Brooke Averick?

And I could hear my stilettos on the concrete and it felt like the soundtrack to my life.

• 28:33Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 28:34Brooke Averick?

And it was beautiful. And then it went downhill pretty quickly in terms of anxiety.

• 28:39Connor Wood?

They can tell you whatever you want. If you're holding two pieces of paper, walking down the street with your headphones in, you can't tell me shit.

• 28:47Brooke Averick?

  Two papers?

• 28:48Connor Wood?

Yeah, two pieces of paper for me. I'm walking down the sidewalk. They don't know what's on this paper, but I'm, it's going, it's, I'm going from point A to point B. Granted, it's a, it's a prescription for medical grade rash.

• 29:00Brooke Averick?

You want to tell everyone about your eczema?

• 29:02Connor Wood?

I already told them. What do you mean?

• 29:04Brooke Averick?

  Wasn't it not eczema?

• 29:06Connor Wood?

Oh, yeah, yeah. It was poison ivy. It was just spread across my body. Thank you.

• 29:11Brooke Averick?

Thank you for letting me know.

• 29:14Connor Wood?

  Which is good.

• 29:15Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, that's good news.

• 29:16Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 29:17Brooke Averick?

  Eczema is much more chronic.

• 29:18Connor Wood?

Sometimes it's like a wolf in sheep's clothing and that was the opposite. It was a sheep in wolf's clothing.

• 29:23Brooke Averick?

  Total sheep in wolf's clothing.

• 29:25Connor Wood?

I didn't need to go all the way up to like my B and C and my armpits though.

• 29:28Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, but it did.

• 29:30Connor Wood?

It may, it's, yeah, it really was like, this is.

• 29:33Brooke Averick?

If, can I ask something? If poison ivy is being, is contact, can I ask why it's on your B and C's?

• 29:39Connor Wood?

Yeah, do you not, yeah, I touched my, touch, I touched my balls probably.

• 29:44Brooke Averick?

  With the poison ivy?

• 29:46Connor Wood?

Probably with my hand and I like itched the poison ivy.

• 29:48Brooke Averick?

Okay, is that how it works? Like it can be like.

• 29:50Connor Wood?

  It's like contact, yeah.

• 29:51Brooke Averick?

Yeah, but I was thinking contacted with the plant, not contact with something that made contact.

• 29:55Connor Wood?

My mom be, I shouldn't even tell my, tell everybody that like my balls were itching.

• 29:59Brooke Averick?

  It's fine to say.

• 30:00Connor Wood?

Hey, hey, B and C listeners. My Nuts Itch, and that is the title of this episode.

• 30:06Brooke Averick?

  Hi, B and C listeners.

• 30:08Connor Wood?

  My Nuts Itch.

• 30:09Brooke Averick?

Miss the itchy nuts. I actually don't like the word nuts.

• 30:13Connor Wood?

I like nuts because it's a little bit more disarming than like balls is just kind of like, oh, what are you? Six?

• 30:22Brooke Averick?

When I was a preschool teacher, we had an issue with the kids saying that they were going to kick each other in the nuts.

• 30:28Connor Wood?

Oh, so you just have like a long.

• 30:29Brooke Averick?

  Mostly the girls.

• 30:32Connor Wood?

  That's funny.

• 30:33Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it was funny, but I, they couldn't do it.

• 30:37Connor Wood?

Well, they didn't have the facilities.

• 30:39Brooke Averick?

No, I just mean like, it wasn't like we had to put an end to it. We did.

• 30:43Connor Wood?

Oh, just because it was getting old?

• 30:44Brooke Averick?

No, because it's just not appropriate to be threatening to kick each other in the nuts all day.

• 30:49Connor Wood?

Well, was it with malice or was it fun?

• 30:54Brooke Averick?

I would say inherently threatening to kick someone in the nuts is an act of violence.

• 30:59Connor Wood?

Was it a threat or was it like, I'm gonna kick you in the nuts, sister?

• 31:02Brooke Averick?

It was, I'm gonna kick you in the nuts, sister, but even then, we're not kicking each other in the nuts in preschool today.

• 31:10Connor Wood?

  Preschool?

• 31:11Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 31:12Connor Wood?

  Hmm, okay.

• 31:16Brooke Averick?

It was mostly a problem on the monkey bars.

• 31:19Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I could see that.

• 31:20Brooke Averick?

  And they were like flinging.

• 31:21Connor Wood?

You don't want to be elevated and kicking each other in the nuts from that high.

• 31:24Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 31:24Connor Wood?

Um, I, I met some teachers this weekend in both Nashville and DC that said that all the kids, like the five year olds are on TikTok now.

• 31:32Brooke Averick?

No, they're not. There can't be a way.

• 31:33Connor Wood?

  No, they were saying.

• 31:34Brooke Averick?

  On what devices? Their iPads?

• 31:36Connor Wood?

Probably, yeah. And they're all saying six, six, seven.

• 31:40Brooke Averick?

  They're all saying six, seven?

• 31:41Connor Wood?

  Six, seven.

• 31:41Brooke Averick?

  What's that?

• 31:43Connor Wood?

So, I, so what sucks is like, I've reached the point of my life where like, I genuinely don't, I don't even give a shit enough to like, look into it because it's, it's not, I'm not, I don't think anything in my life would be affected by me, by me being filled in on that. They just do six, seven and they, they've kind of moved their arms a little six, seven?

• 32:04Brooke Averick?

  It's like a dance?

• 32:05Connor Wood?

Six, seven. No, it's not a dance. It's like a little, it's like a shrug. Izzy, do you know what it is?

• 32:11Speaker 05

It started like in basketball or something, like some guy said, I think it was like a mellow or something. I don't know. One of them said like, ah, six, seven. And then people started doing that.

• 32:25Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 32:25Brooke Averick?

  Um, okay. Like Skippity Toilet?

• 32:28Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 32:29Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 32:31Connor Wood?

  I don't, I didn't even, I didn't even get that yet.

• 32:34Brooke Averick?

Skippity Toilet? We've, that was, remember that's when we did the, are you smarter than a fifth grader?

• 32:41Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 32:43Brooke Averick?

  Skippity Toilet's old.

• 32:45Connor Wood?

No, I know it's old, but I didn't get it, like, I didn't get it.

• 32:47Brooke Averick?

  No, I don't get it.

• 32:51Brooke Averick?

But it is what it is. Um, I have a love. And you know who it is?

• 33:01Brooke Averick?

I'm looking at it on your phone.

• 33:04Connor Wood?

  Oh, really?

• 33:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 33:06Connor Wood?

Wow, I put that in the notes.

• 33:07Brooke Averick?

  I love him.

• 33:08Connor Wood?

Oh, interesting. So Brooke has a crush on Mr. Fantasy.

• 33:12Brooke Averick?

  In an amazing way.

• 33:14Connor Wood?

Okay, so Mr. Fantasy is KJ Appa and he's, he's fucked ST.

• 33:19Brooke Averick?

I think it might be Appa.

• 33:20Connor Wood?

  Appa?

• 33:21Brooke Averick?

I don't know, because I saw him the other day when I was driving to the podcast. And I was like, holy, holy shit, like, that, it, like, is truly the most beautiful human I've ever seen. And then I was like, how do you even start to think about saying his last name? And then the Google pronunciation thing said Appa.

• 33:38Connor Wood?

  I don't think that that's right.

• 33:40Brooke Averick?

So I don't know, it might be Appa, but it could be Appa.

• 33:44Connor Wood?

I think it's KJ Appa. KJ Appa.

• 33:47Brooke Averick?

I honest, let's, I think it might be Appa, but...

• 33:53Connor Wood?

  Oh, it's Appa?

• 33:53Brooke Averick?

  It's Appa.

• 33:54Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 33:55Brooke Averick?

I felt like, after I saw him, I was like, I gotta get this guy's name right.

• 33:59Connor Wood?

He, you know, he was the original person that I went up to and I said, I haven't seen you in so long?

• 34:03Brooke Averick?

Yeah, at some sort of music festival.

• 34:06Connor Wood?

  At Coachella.

• 34:07Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. How did he react?

• 34:09Connor Wood?

He gave me the biggest hug and he's like, I miss you so much.

• 34:12Brooke Averick?

  Sweetheart.

• 34:13Connor Wood?

And then I was like, I am messing with you, and he's like, oh. I was like, okay, bye.

• 34:17Brooke Averick?

  Aw.

• 34:17Connor Wood?

  Yeah, but he's really nice.

• 34:18Brooke Averick?

No, and so Mr. Fantasy is his alter ego musician personality in which he, the fake teeth looks so real.

• 34:26Connor Wood?

It's, like, this is so hard to look at, to me.

• 34:29Brooke Averick?

  And I have...

• 34:30Connor Wood?

  No offense.

• 34:30Brooke Averick?

I have morphed into finding it, like, sexy, in a way. It's something like, it reminds me of, like, Austin Powers.

• 34:38Connor Wood?

Were you attracted to Austin Powers?

• 34:39Brooke Averick?

I wasn't, but like, there's something sexual about it.

• 34:45Connor Wood?

  About Mr. Fantasy?

• 34:46Speaker 04

Yes, he's like a sexual being.

• 34:51Connor Wood?

We have to check you in somewhere.

• 34:53Speaker 04

No, that's just a fact. Like, you can be attracted to it or not, but he's a sexual entity, right Gabby?

• 34:58Brooke Averick?

  I agree.

• 34:59Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 34:59Connor Wood?

  What?

• 35:01Speaker 04

  He's a sexim- he's a sex-

• 35:03Brooke Averick?

So why'd he like move his body?

• 35:04Connor Wood?

Gabby, come back- you have to come back in here and explain what you're saying. She's saying the-

• 35:07Speaker 04

  Why aren't you trusting me?

• 35:08Connor Wood?

The way he mov- well, I needed a second-

• 35:10Speaker 04

He's a sexual person, Mr. Fantasy.

• 35:12Connor Wood?

You need to get a second opinion.

• 35:13Speaker 04

The way he's like moving his body and stuff like that.

• 35:16Brooke Averick?

  The man reeks of sex.

• 35:18Speaker 04

  And all that stuff.

• 35:19Connor Wood?

  He reeks of sex.

• 35:21Brooke Averick?

  Totally. He's a sex appeal.

• 35:22Connor Wood?

Do you think Austin Powers is attractive?

• 35:24Brooke Averick?

I didn't say Austin Powers was attractive.

• 35:26Speaker 04

That was before my time, Connor.

• 35:29Brooke Averick?

  She's like six.

• 35:29Connor Wood?

Oh, God. What? Austin Powers is before my time?

• 35:34Brooke Averick?

There is something sexual about Austin Powers.

• 35:37Speaker 04

Yeah, but that is not the whole shtick.

• 35:39Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 35:39Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 35:40Brooke Averick?

  This is the shtick.

• 35:41Speaker 04

I agree. Mr. Fantasy has that shtick as well.

• 35:45Speaker 04

Just like the way he looks and talks and moves his body.

• 35:50Brooke Averick?

I'm not saying that you should be attracted to him. I think it's probably common not to be attracted to Mr. Fantasy, the way he's portraying himself. I'm finding him attractive, especially knowing that it's KJ.

• 36:00Speaker 04

I'm finding the idea of it attractive. I'm not finding his actual being attractive.

• 36:04Brooke Averick?

  I am.

• 36:04Connor Wood?

I'm fascinated. I would love for someone to look into this.

• 36:07Speaker 04

I also just want to say that I asked Brooke if she was watching Mr. Fantasy a while ago, and she said, "I can't even look."

• 36:12Brooke Averick?

Well, I- it's- changing your mind is a thing.

• 36:16Speaker 04

She said, "I can't even look at that, Gabby."

• 36:18Connor Wood?

  Yeah, that's nothing- yeah, that's-

• 36:19Brooke Averick?

No, you know what changed it for me? The song.

• 36:22Speaker 04

  Yeah, it did.

• 36:23Brooke Averick?

It's so good. Talent is my biggest thing.

• 36:28Connor Wood?

Yeah. Wait, so he released like a real-

• 36:31Brooke Averick?

  You're right now, Gab? Yeah.

• 36:33Connor Wood?

Okay. We'll call you, but we'll tap you back in. So he released a real single?

• 36:38Brooke Averick?

  Are you kidding?

• 36:39Connor Wood?

I'm not. I don't- Mr. Fantasy was not- like, I'm not- this target audience, I actually think I-

• 36:45Brooke Averick?

It's like, you know, "Home Alone" by Ansel Alguert?

• 36:49Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I don't- yeah, I like that.

• 36:51Brooke Averick?

It's that type of awesome. It almost reminds me of- Rock Your Body by Justin Timberlake.

• 36:57Connor Wood?

  What?

• 36:57Brooke Averick?

X Home Alone by Ansel Al Gore. It's like.

• 37:01Connor Wood?

Is it for, is it for a movie?

• 37:03Brooke Averick?

  X sixes to nines.

• 37:05Connor Wood?

Wow, I think I would like it.

• 37:06Brooke Averick?

Oh, there's no doubt in my very small pea-sized mind that you would love Mr. Fantasy.

• 37:13Connor Wood?

Wait, are, is it for a movie or something, or is he like?

• 37:16Brooke Averick?

No, he's, he's pursuing his music career as Mr. Fantasy. But some people are.

• 37:22Brooke Averick?

  Come back.

• 37:25Connor Wood?

  We're tapping B- B- Babi back in.

• 37:27Brooke Averick?

  Tacking Babi back in.

• 37:29Speaker 04

Do you not remember his old TikTok account? Fifi?

• 37:31Brooke Averick?

  Very vaguely.

• 37:33Connor Wood?

  What is Fifi?

• 37:34Speaker 04

You look up Fifi because Fifi was the same kind of thing.

• 37:38Brooke Averick?

He's kind of a, an hysterical guy.

• 37:40Speaker 04

  He's hysterical.

• 37:41Brooke Averick?

Um, which is, how did he, he's always looked this gorgeous and been funny. So I'm wondering what is happening there.

• 37:48Speaker 04

Yeah, so on his old TikTok.

• 37:50Brooke Averick?

Fifi, yeah, I remember Fifi's queen.

• 37:52Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 37:53Connor Wood?

  If he was.

• 37:54Speaker 04

So he's always been like this.

• 37:55Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 37:55Speaker 04

And apparently he did music. He did music before as regular KJ.

• 38:00Brooke Averick?

  Wow.

• 38:01Connor Wood?

Oh, this is a fascinating development for KJ, Mr. Appa.

• 38:04Speaker 04

  It's genius.

• 38:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, he's a, he's a genius.

• 38:06Speaker 04

  Yeah.

• 38:07Connor Wood?

Is he, oh, he's in something with Madeleine Klein right now.

• 38:10Brooke Averick?

  He is.

• 38:11Connor Wood?

It came across my desk, but I did fall asleep right when it started.

• 38:13Brooke Averick?

He is in something with Madeleine Klein.

• 38:15Connor Wood?

  Fifi's queen.

• 38:16Speaker 04

But he can't get back into that TikTok, he said. He's completely logged out.

• 38:20Brooke Averick?

Oh, so he, yeah. Wow, I, yeah, I really love Mr. Fantasy and we've got to listen to his song in bonus. And so I obviously, I posted on my story and I was like, this is the best song I've ever heard. Cause it is. And everyone was like, wait, like, I think that might be KJ Appa. And I'm like, maybe, yeah.

• 38:36Speaker 04

That's like everyone thinking that we might be identical.

• 38:38Brooke Averick?

Well, everyone's like trying to like crack the code for me. And I'm like, no, like, yeah, that's the point.

• 38:45Connor Wood?

  I knew.

• 38:46Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, thank you though.

• 38:47Connor Wood?

  I've been knew.

• 38:48Brooke Averick?

Yeah, but it's exceptional, the song, as well as, um, Mr. Fantasy as an entity.

• 38:57Connor Wood?

  Hmm. I'll look into it.

• 39:00Brooke Averick?

  I would encourage you to.

• 39:01Connor Wood?

  I got you.

• 39:04Connor Wood?

  Um, okay. Well, that's cool.

• 40:05Brooke Averick?

Okay, moving on from Mr. Fantasy. Connor.

• 40:08Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 40:09Brooke Averick?

Um, in order to celebrate fall in the new Glade Fall Day Collection, we have some fall themed hot takes that we're going to debate.

• 40:18Connor Wood?

Yeah, okay, I want to just say one and I think this kind of goes into like, I'm scared I'll never be happy or I'll never be content.

• 40:27Connor Wood?

The way that, the way that the weather right now is perfect. So it's like, we've reached the point. This is my absolute, absolute peak right now is, is spring into summer and summer into fall, where I'm sweater and I'm shorts.

• 40:41Brooke Averick?

Summer into fall is the most magnificent time of the year?

• 40:46Connor Wood?

You know how people get, um, like seasonal depression?

• 40:51Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I do know that.

• 40:52Connor Wood?

I don't realize when I have seasonal depression. I do realize when I have seasonal happiness. Like, I feel like I could run through a wall. I feel like, like I'm just like, I'm like, I'm making conversation with someone just because they looked at me. Like, I seem like an insane person. I'm just like, like that. That's, I can't put into words. I'm like this.

• 41:17Connor Wood?

  You know what I mean?

• 41:18Brooke Averick?

How would you describe that to the audio listeners?

• 41:19Connor Wood?

Oh, shoot. Content, pretty content. It's, it's, it's, but then, like, what goes up must come down, because I do know that what this, this means for all of us is that it's gonna start being dark at 4:30 PM.

• 41:37Brooke Averick?

That, it's like, I get, I get in bed when it gets dark. So I get in bed at 6:45.

• 41:44Connor Wood?

I'm excited for that, because I have the, I have the guilt of the sun still being up, and then I'm like, I should be outside if the sun's up.

• 41:49Brooke Averick?

Hmm, I'm excited because I think it will, I get, I like it for like a few weeks when I'm like, ooh, I'll get in bed, I'll get cozy, and maybe I'll read a little bit more.

• 41:57Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 41:59Brooke Averick?

Because darkness seems more of like a reading time than, like, when it's like 7:00 PM and light, that's TV time.

• 42:07Brooke Averick?

I guess you could be outside, too. But I'll just do the TV for now.

• 42:11Connor Wood?

Yeah, I'll just be doing the TV.

• 42:13Brooke Averick?

Um, but yeah, I'm excited about that.

• 42:16Connor Wood?

  I always, yeah.

• 42:17Brooke Averick?

But then I will not be excited in a few weeks, when I will get very depressed.

• 42:21Connor Wood?

Yeah. Do you have seasonal depression?

• 42:24Brooke Averick?

  Like, so bad.

• 42:25Connor Wood?

  Regular depression.

• 42:26Brooke Averick?

Regular, and then exacerbated by change in the seasons. But, nothing like it was when I lived on the East Coast. Boston, it was like, I, I don't, I, I pray for everyone there. I really do.

• 42:41Connor Wood?

I pray for everyone in Seattle. I got so depressed in Seattle.

• 42:46Brooke Averick?

I've still never been to the Pacific Northwest.

• 42:48Connor Wood?

  What?

• 42:49Brooke Averick?

I know. I've also never been to anywhere in California, really.

• 42:52Connor Wood?

I also wasn't talking smack about Seattle, I really enjoy my time there, trust. But, if I lived there and it was like, as rainy as it is 24/7, I would,

• 43:05Connor Wood?

I would, I would have to be locked up.

• 43:07Brooke Averick?

Ooh, I would love a few rainy days, but not, yeah, obviously not that many. But, okay, next hot take, you have a good one.

• 43:14Connor Wood?

  Yeah, well, first of all,

• 43:18Connor Wood?

remember last year, I was like, I'm gonna start leaning into like, the hot, like, Christmas?

• 43:21Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 43:21Connor Wood?

Vibes, and I was like, I wanna be like a Christmas guy that listens to Christmas music every day. This is crazy cuz I don't like the colors. I don't like the color purple. I really don't like the colors.

• 43:32Brooke Averick?

  Christmas is green and red.

• 43:34Connor Wood?

I know, I'm talking about fall here. I'm about to talk about fall. I'm about to shift gears into fall.

• 43:39Brooke Averick?

I didn't realize fall was purple.

• 43:41Connor Wood?

  Fall is purple and orange.

• 43:42Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I guess you're right. I guess you're right.

• 43:44Connor Wood?

  And a little bit yellow.

• 43:47Connor Wood?

Autumn, that's a completely different color scheme. I'm not gonna even get into that.

• 43:50Brooke Averick?

  Autumn is red and brown.

• 43:52Connor Wood?

Well said. But I think that um

• 43:56Connor Wood?

you're not gonna like, I don't think you're gonna like this. I like candy corn. I'm looking forward to that. I'll be leaning into candy corn in a big way. I might get a bowl. I could see myself with a bowl of candy corn. Now, I told you, sun goes down, I start packing on the pounds cuz I gotta have two or three dinners. And that candy corn bowl, that's for me.

• 44:15Connor Wood?

And maybe my upstairs neighbors cuz we get along really well. But I like, I'm a candy corn connoisseur. It has a certain je ne sais quoi about it that I like.

• 44:25Brooke Averick?

And I would never yuck your yum.

• 44:29Brooke Averick?

  I do find it yucky.

• 44:31Connor Wood?

  Candy corn?

• 44:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 44:32Connor Wood?

  What part?

• 44:33Brooke Averick?

The way it tastes and the way it feels in my mouth.

• 44:35Connor Wood?

  Whoa, I love it.

• 44:37Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I don't care for it at all.

• 44:40Connor Wood?

  Have you tried it?

• 44:41Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 44:42Connor Wood?

  Really?

• 44:42Brooke Averick?

Yes. But, but go off, sister.

• 44:47Connor Wood?

I am going off. I'm actually pretty secure in my candy corn reality is the fact that I can eat it and no one else really wants it. I'm like, I'll take it off your hands. I'm shocked that I like that, but I don't like, like, oysters.

• 45:01Brooke Averick?

I don't see the similarities between candy corn and oysters.

• 45:04Connor Wood?

Dad last night was trying to shove

• 45:06Brooke Averick?

  He's a feeder.

• 45:07Connor Wood?

  Muscles.

• 45:07Brooke Averick?

  He's a feeder.

• 45:08Connor Wood?

Down my gullet like it was his freaking job.

• 45:11Brooke Averick?

  He is a feeder.

• 45:12Connor Wood?

No, no, no, have one. I was like, I actually already finished my whole meal. I'm pretty full.

• 45:16Brooke Averick?

  It's a compulsion.

• 45:17Connor Wood?

And he's like, you need to dip those french fries into my bucket of clam sauce. I was like, Mr. Avic, I really don't want to do that.

• 45:24Brooke Averick?

Were you calling him Mr. Avic?

• 45:25Connor Wood?

No, I don't. I never said his name. I just said, no, thank you. No, thank you. No, thank you. No, thank you. No, thank you. And he was putting his hands into the bucket.

• 45:33Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I mean, there's nothing you can do, like, except eat it, unfortunately. Okay, this is a take from someone else. Pumpkin Spice is perfectly rated.

• 45:43Connor Wood?

  What do you mean?

• 45:44Brooke Averick?

Like, it's not overrated, it's not underrated, it's perfectly rated. Like, it's not overhyped, it's hyped. The appropriate amount.

• 45:50Connor Wood?

Yeah, I agree. I think it's like a, it's something I smell and it smells like fall. And I like pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving.

• 45:58Brooke Averick?

  I don't know, I just.

• 46:01Connor Wood?

We sound like MD Foodie Boys right now.

• 46:04Brooke Averick?

  Good, that's, that's.

• 46:05Connor Wood?

  That's good, they're killing it.

• 46:07Brooke Averick?

I don't know, pumpkin is just like not my favorite, more of a sandalwood girl. Okay, it's just, that's my cozy scent.

• 46:13Connor Wood?

  You're so classy.

• 46:14Brooke Averick?

That is my cozy scent. Pumpkin Spice is just like something like cinnamon and nutmeg, but not, you know, it's like trying to be someone it's not.

• 46:25Connor Wood?

Okay, I didn't know, yeah, I mean, you, you did, you probably yucked a lot of people's yum.

• 46:31Brooke Averick?

Or at least Pumpkin Spice should wait until October 1st.

• 46:36Connor Wood?

Okay, well, you know what, kind of a little bit of a roast, and I get to take that roast that you just made, and take $3 off my Glade Pumpkin and Ginger Candle, because Glade has turned this into a game.

• 47:24Connor Wood?

I need to see if I, if I.

• 47:26Brooke Averick?

  Hello? That's not okay.

• 47:29Connor Wood?

Glenn Powell posting what seems to be a complete nude on Instagram as I open my phone.

• 47:37Brooke Averick?

But the caption of this, all natural.

• 47:41Connor Wood?

  Well, he's wearing like a.

• 47:42Brooke Averick?

  That's not all natural.

• 47:43Connor Wood?

  A skin suit. Holy.

• 47:46Brooke Averick?

Is that all natural? That's not, right?

• 47:48Connor Wood?

  No, it's.

• 47:50Brooke Averick?

I think that might be natural. No, he's wearing a

• 47:54Connor Wood?

  No, he's wearing a skin

• 47:55Brooke Averick?

  He's wearing leggings.

• 47:57Connor Wood?

  No, I think that that's a joke.

• 47:58Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, it is a joke.

• 47:59Connor Wood?

Sex, politics, money, dating, friendship, business etiquette. No, it's, it's not. It's not funny. Oh, oh my gosh. The, there's a slide in

• 48:10Brooke Averick?

Put, put Glenn and Mr. Fantasy in front of me. I'm sprinting into the arms of Mr. Fantasy every day.

• 48:16Connor Wood?

  I don't

• 48:17Brooke Averick?

  It's always been him.

• 48:19Connor Wood?

I don't know. Glenn's been rubbing me the right way recently.

• 48:22Brooke Averick?

You've been getting rubbed by Glenn in the right way?

• 48:24Connor Wood?

Glenn has been rubbing me down.

• 48:28Brooke Averick?

  Glenn doesn't rub me.

• 48:29Connor Wood?

He, he doesn't rub you yet, but neither did Mr. Fantasy until recently too.

• 48:34Brooke Averick?

If Glenn comes out with a number like Mr. Fantasy, like Mr. F, then we can talk. In the meantime, let's take some space.

• 48:48Connor Wood?

GP isn't doing anything for you?

• 48:50Brooke Averick?

He, no, he doesn't, he's never has.

• 48:53Connor Wood?

  Yet.

• 48:55Brooke Averick?

  He never has yet.

• 48:56Connor Wood?

I like this. I like this. It is, it shocked me. But it's, it's different and I think it's fun. Um, you know, you know that guy Nikki Bell that does the roasts of people on the red carpet? He's like

• 49:08Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 49:09Connor Wood?

  Yeah, no.

• 49:10Brooke Averick?

  Oh, yeah.

• 49:11Connor Wood?

He, I was in one last night.

• 49:13Brooke Averick?

  What did you get?

• 49:14Connor Wood?

  I passed. I passed.

• 49:15Brooke Averick?

  That's amazing.

• 49:16Connor Wood?

That was, someone tagged me in it and I was like, no, I was like holding my breath. Now I didn't get any accolades. He just said, I like the bow tie. I like the bow tie.

• 49:26Brooke Averick?

That's all you can get. I was not in an

• 49:28Connor Wood?

  I also was in vogue.

• 49:30Brooke Averick?

That's insane. And you were like worried about your outfit the whole time.

• 49:34Connor Wood?

Well, cause from the waist up, my VMA's outfit looked like I was a Mormon senator. And I was like, oh, this ain't good. But then I forgot the pants were a little bit like, damn, a little bit somber. They made my legs look long.

• 49:47Brooke Averick?

You looked great. I don't know what you were going on about.

• 49:50Connor Wood?

It was scary because all I was seeing was my, my hair looked so small.

• 49:55Brooke Averick?

  Your hair looked small?

• 49:57Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 49:57Brooke Averick?

  What do you mean?

• 49:58Connor Wood?

I don't know what I, you know what I mean?

• 50:01Brooke Averick?

I'm doing a new hairstyle. I got my, uh, Rachel season three touched up.

• 50:05Connor Wood?

  Nice.

• 50:06Brooke Averick?

Yeah, thanks. But now I'm doing a very Amy Winehouse.

• 50:10Connor Wood?

  Yeah, I like that.

• 50:11Brooke Averick?

Did you see my earrings? My new cherry earrings?

• 50:13Connor Wood?

  I saw.

• 50:13Brooke Averick?

It's cherry season, everyone. Keep that in mind.

• 50:17Connor Wood?

  So keep that in mind.

• 50:18Brooke Averick?

It is cherry season. Come on, hit it for me.

• 50:22Connor Wood?

Um, did you read Wuthering Heights?

• 50:26Brooke Averick?

I did not read Wuthering Heights.

• 50:28Connor Wood?

  Wuthering?

• 50:28Brooke Averick?

  I have, I, I don't necessarily know, so I'm just gonna do a call.

• 50:33Connor Wood?

  Shut up!

• 50:34Brooke Averick?

I don't think, ooh, it's very pretty. Is that picking up on the mic?

• 50:39Brooke Averick?

Kind of like traffic meets traffic meets car wreck?

• 50:43Connor Wood?

  There was just a-

• 50:43Brooke Averick?

  Meets blaring horns?

• 50:45Connor Wood?

We were able to capture a car wreck right outside my door this morning. Um, oh, and Brooks, Brooke is gulping.

• 50:52Brooke Averick?

  It's like,

• 50:55Brooke Averick?

do you hear that or no?

• 50:58Brooke Averick?

Okay, cool. Okay. I, it's like, some people say it's with, some people say Wuthering, no, it's Wuthering. It's like a mixture. It's like Wuthering Heights.

• 51:07Connor Wood?

  Well, I don't, I've never-

• 51:08Brooke Averick?

  Just say it quick.

• 51:09Connor Wood?

Wuthering Heights, I don't, I don't care, but I didn't read it. Now, it being Jacob Elordi, Margot Robbie with a number by Charlie XCX.

• 51:18Brooke Averick?

  People are pissed.

• 51:20Connor Wood?

Why, and why are they mad? Cause it's like, it's like a classic and it's being turned into La Booboo Chocolate.

• 51:25Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 51:26Connor Wood?

  Uh, Dubai of movies.

• 51:29Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I am not pissed. I'm excited, but-

• 51:32Connor Wood?

I think this is cool. I don't know. I've never read the book.

• 51:34Brooke Averick?

  Exactly.

• 51:35Connor Wood?

But it, it sounds like they're gonna make like something that's like a really tragic love story or whatever, just really like, like digestible for the masses.

• 51:45Brooke Averick?

I'm sure if I had a connection to Wuthering Heights, I would have something to say, but alas, I've never read it. Um.

• 51:50Connor Wood?

Oh, it is exactly like Gone with the Wind.

• 51:53Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, same.

• 51:53Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 51:54Brooke Averick?

  Ghostish.

• 51:55Connor Wood?

  All right.

• 51:55Brooke Averick?

I have actually never read a classic besides Frankenstein, which I really enjoyed.

• 52:04Brooke Averick?

Scarlet Letter, I did not enjoy.

• 52:09Brooke Averick?

  Did you?

• 52:09Connor Wood?

No, I've never read any of those. I need to start reading more damn books, you know? Like, is something, something bad is happening to me? And someone said, oh, I'm reading, I started reading my book. I told you that.

• 52:20Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. How's it going?

• 52:23Connor Wood?

  I, I-

• 52:24Brooke Averick?

You just gotta find what you enjoy.

• 52:25Connor Wood?

Yeah, I actually started enjoying this book, The Creative Act. Cause I read one passage and I was like, yeah, that's a good thing to take with you.

• 52:34Brooke Averick?

  Okay, what was the passage?

• 52:35Connor Wood?

Just lower the stakes. What you're doing is not life or death, ever. And I'm like, that is so true.

• 52:39Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 52:39Connor Wood?

Why am I, like, turn in, turn in your thing because it's not, this doesn't have to be your best work. This time, it's a stepping stone to your best work. And I go-

• 52:48Brooke Averick?

  Ooh.

• 52:49Connor Wood?

I go Doritos fan to my face, like, whoa.

• 52:53Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I like that.

• 52:54Connor Wood?

Yeah, it was, it's great, like, lower the stakes.

• 52:57Brooke Averick?

  I like that a lot.

• 52:59Connor Wood?

I was like, okay, I did. I got more done that day than I've done in six months.

• 53:05Brooke Averick?

  Carry that along with you.

• 53:07Connor Wood?

I will. Yeah, I will. Um, I also, you know what else, it, it had me do?

• 53:13Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 53:13Connor Wood?

This, this book that like, I clowned on because I hadn't cracked it open yet. Um, I started filming all my sets of my shows.

• 53:21Brooke Averick?

You have never posted a clip of you doing stand-up?

• 53:26Connor Wood?

  Mm-mm.

• 53:26Brooke Averick?

  So are you gonna start?

• 53:27Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 53:28Brooke Averick?

  I will love that.

• 53:29Connor Wood?

  I'm lowering the stakes.

• 53:30Brooke Averick?

  Lower the freaking stakes.

• 53:31Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 53:31Brooke Averick?

  It's literally, not that serious.

• 53:34Connor Wood?

  I'm in my-

• 53:35Brooke Averick?

  It's comedy.

• 53:36Connor Wood?

  I'm lo-

• 53:37Brooke Averick?

It's the least serious thing in the world. Not that your craft is not serious, your craft is incredible.

• 53:42Connor Wood?

  Bars, bro.

• 53:43Brooke Averick?

  But bars, but bars.

• 53:44Connor Wood?

It's not that serious, it's comedy. Oh my God, I'm getting that tattooed above my ass. Oh my God, that's so well said.

• 53:52Brooke Averick?

I can write it if you want.

• 53:54Connor Wood?

Yeah, oh yeah, in your handwriting. Actually, you can tattoo it.

• 53:57Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 53:58Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 53:59Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 54:00Connor Wood?

What was I gonna say, damn? Yeah, um, yeah, I'm gonna start posting clips, but it is hard to figure out what, which one I, I wanna post first. And I like, I almost wanna start a Mr. Fantasy account, just to start posting my clips, but it does need to go on my, on my-

• 54:14Brooke Averick?

You should, yeah. Fipula should post them.

• 54:17Connor Wood?

  Yeah. He should.

• 54:19Brooke Averick?

  He's an amazing guy.

• 54:20Connor Wood?

  He's an amazing man.

• 54:22Brooke Averick?

So, I have a, I have a would you rather question for you. I know your answer, but it's something I was thinking about a lot last night. Would you rather, and I want Izzy to answer too. Would you rather never be nauseous again or never be anxious again?

• 54:40Connor Wood?

Never, I would rather never be anxious again.

• 54:42Brooke Averick?

I know, I figured that was yours.

• 54:43Connor Wood?

I would genuinely be president of the United States. Cause I wouldn't be anxious, you know, like I would lead us into the golden age. But I don't know, like that, that sounds crazy, but if I never had anxiety, I actually wouldn't want to be president. But I feel like the reason I wouldn't want to be president is because it would give me a lot of anxiety. It's a lot of pressure, but if I wasn't gonna have anxiety.

• 55:07Brooke Averick?

  Who would you be?

• 55:09Connor Wood?

  Glenn Powell.

• 55:10Brooke Averick?

No, I thought was thinking about this a lot as I was falling asleep because I was having the like some of like, just like the most crippling anxiety. And in that moment I was like, I would do anything to never feel this way again, except maybe I'd rather not be nauseous. I would, anyway, I was just going back and forth with myself for a while because I was also feeling nauseous. That's what was happening. I was feeling very nauseous and very anxious. And I was like, if I could not feel one of these, because they're both so bad, which would I not feel? I was going back and forth for a while.

• 55:36Connor Wood?

You being so, so, so in such a bad state that you started playing would you rather?

• 55:41Brooke Averick?

I was playing would you rather with myself. I truly believe if I was never anxious again, I, I wouldn't have much to offer. Like, yes, that would be incredible and I would like live a very like normal life without getting in my own way. But I would not have a book to write. I would not be funny. Like I, there's so much that I wouldn't be. That being said, I might like it a lot. I might really appreciate the beat.

• 56:13Brooke Averick?

But when I'm nauseous, there is nothing I wouldn't do. I was telling Gabby, there's like, I would pay six figures to never.

• 56:22Brooke Averick?

And if I had seven, like I would pay, if I had disposable seven, I'd throw that out there too. Like I would pay so much to never be nauseous again. So to answer my question.

• 56:32Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 56:33Brooke Averick?

I would rather never be nauseous again.

• 56:36Connor Wood?

  Oh, interesting.

• 56:37Brooke Averick?

Because I think that my anxiety is what propels me forward. Would I like to get it under control? Hundred percent.

• 56:47Connor Wood?

  They have pills.

• 56:49Brooke Averick?

I'm on all of them. Been on every single one. And then some. Up that dose too.

• 56:57Connor Wood?

  I might have to dabble.

• 56:59Brooke Averick?

So your answer is anxious. Izzy, what's yours?

• 57:01Speaker 05

  Nauseous.

• 57:03Brooke Averick?

  You'd rather never be nauseous?

• 57:04Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 57:06Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 57:06Speaker 05

Cause then I get like so sweaty.

• 57:08Brooke Averick?

  Something to think about. Yeah.

• 57:10Connor Wood?

My favorite thing that like older people say now is like, oh, all you kids are anxious these days.

• 57:19Brooke Averick?

They do say that, don't they?

• 57:21Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 57:22Brooke Averick?

And it's like, guess what? You probably were too, just untreated. And that's why you are the way you are right now. Derogatory.

• 57:30Connor Wood?

Yeah, with your, with your house that costed $20,000. I wouldn't be anxious either if my house cost $20,000.

• 57:40Brooke Averick?

  But also like inflation.

• 57:43Connor Wood?

Yeah, but it's like, like in income, like wages have not followed.

• 57:48Brooke Averick?

  Exactly.

• 57:49Connor Wood?

Inflation. So it's like, it's not that case.

• 57:51Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 57:52Connor Wood?

I don't think. Me, I'm talking like my cheeks are, my cheeks are talking before me because I'm talking out of my ass.

• 57:59Brooke Averick?

My dad was saying last night that some of the dumbest things he's ever heard in his life are from this podcast. And some of the most brilliant things he's ever heard.

• 58:06Connor Wood?

Some of the most profound things he said have come across his desk are on this podcast. And some of the dumbest shit he said, I sometimes I roll my fucking eyes. I go, okay, well. Pleasure meeting you, person for the first time.

• 58:19Brooke Averick?

Be sweet. Yeah. He said, there's really both sides of the spectrum.

• 58:24Connor Wood?

He said, you say some of the dumbest shit I've ever heard in my life. Now open your mouth. Let me shut this clam down. That was good food.

• 58:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 58:33Connor Wood?

I am, I'm really eating recently.

• 58:37Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I'm not.

• 58:39Connor Wood?

I've been slamming down some big shit with these fat fucks.

• 58:43Brooke Averick?

It's fine to do if you want.

• 58:45Connor Wood?

I liked how last week I said 14 times, like, I'm so off. Like, I apologized to everybody and they're like, "We like who, we liked it." I'm like, I felt strange, though. Like, I felt like...

• 58:54Brooke Averick?

  Because you were being genuine.

• 58:55Connor Wood?

Yeah. This is fun. This is supposed to be fun. Like, going to sleep last night, I was like, I can't, I can't believe I get to wake up and just, like, crack up. I'm really looking forward to cracking up.

• 59:04Brooke Averick?

I cracked up really hard, a pretty good bit, in a major way. Like, can I just say one sentence without the 15 lead-ups? Anyway, I laughed earlier. That's what I was trying to say.

• 59:16Connor Wood?

Yeah, we both, I think we both laughed.

• 59:19Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 59:20Connor Wood?

I also was so excited because Brooke and Gabby were coming over. Um, so I had a collab piece with a cleaner this morning. I was doing laundry.

• 59:29Brooke Averick?

  Had a cleaner come over.

• 59:30Connor Wood?

  Oh, my God. Yeah.

• 59:32Brooke Averick?

It's just like, shut up a bit if you can, if you're able to.

• 59:34Connor Wood?

Collab piece with a cleaner? What are you talking about? Um, and by the way, it's an epidemic sweeping the young nation.

• 59:50Brooke Averick?

  It's not okay.

• 59:58Brooke Averick?

Connor just pointed to, we can see Izzy in the corner, just stone-faced.

• 1:00:02Connor Wood?

Not even cracking a smile. I'm seeing stars.

• 1:00:07Connor Wood?

The epidemic of, like, people coming in and the, the actual, um,

• 1:00:14Connor Wood?

like, like cadence of the way people are speaking at my, at like, when I meet people at my shows, is full-blown via Tristan and Channing or, or us. There were two people this weekend that I met that said... They were saying, came across my desk and then they go, are they, they're coworkers.

• 1:00:36Brooke Averick?

No, this, I saw the sweetest thing of someone saying, like they were like with a new group of friends or something or meeting new people and someone said something about they're very fat ass. And then the other girl was like, wait, what'd you just say?

• 1:00:48Connor Wood?

That's what they said. They were coworkers and they go, is, I'm sorry, like, do you listen to Brooke and Connor? And they were like, yeah. And then they became friends and they came to the show together.

• 1:00:56Brooke Averick?

Oh, the one I saw was, y'all care. Like someone was talking about they're fat ass and the other person was like, wait, you're a fat ass too? And then they, and they became friends because of they're not, they're fat asses.

• 1:01:05Connor Wood?

  They're huge.

• 1:01:06Brooke Averick?

  They're like massive gigantic.

• 1:01:07Connor Wood?

  Massive asses.

• 1:01:08Brooke Averick?

  Plus asses.

• 1:01:13Connor Wood?

  Special.

• 1:01:14Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, it's really pretty.

• 1:01:16Connor Wood?

It's heartwarming. Um, I want to say really quickly, so I just got a bookshelf. It's in route. It's gonna go right there. You can't see, but it's gonna go next to it.

• 1:01:26Brooke Averick?

It's gonna go right there, y'all.

• 1:01:27Connor Wood?

My first book is gonna be, well, it won't be my first book, but I'm gonna have Phoebe on that shelf.

• 1:01:32Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, that's sweet, Connor.

• 1:01:34Connor Wood?

February, March, April. No, it won't. It will be on that shelf. I don't know if I'll be here in this apartment.

• 1:01:40Brooke Averick?

It'll be on the shelf. That's all that matters.

• 1:01:43Connor Wood?

It will be on the shelf.

• 1:01:44Brooke Averick?

It will be on the shelf and there's so much more that I can say about that so soon.

• 1:01:51Brooke Averick?

  Period. On God.

• 1:01:53Connor Wood?

  Your fat secretive ass.

• 1:01:55Brooke Averick?

My very, very closed fat lips that I would like filler in. We'll be able to speak a little bit more about it shortly. Thanks. Well, I'm excited to play you, Mr. Fantasy.

• 1:02:10Connor Wood?

Yeah. Oh, I'm looking forward to it in the bonus.

• 1:02:15Connor Wood?

And I will see, you know what? I almost, I almost invited Henry, Henry, Henry.

• 1:02:19Brooke Averick?

  Is he here?

• 1:02:20Connor Wood?

He's here. I almost invited him to like pop in because he was so well received last time.

• 1:02:24Brooke Averick?

He was. Tell him to come for the bone.

• 1:02:26Connor Wood?

But he, I don't know if we have.

• 1:02:28Brooke Averick?

  Abby, you might like him.

• 1:02:32Brooke Averick?

  Gabby might like him.

• 1:02:35Connor Wood?

You climb him like a tree.

• 1:02:36Brooke Averick?

  Gabby might like Henry.

• 1:02:38Connor Wood?

He's about the size of Zomber.

• 1:02:42Connor Wood?

Henry, Henry, all his bags, I don't think he could fit through the door.

• 1:02:45Brooke Averick?

Is he bringing all the bags?

• 1:02:47Connor Wood?

I don't know. Yeah, he probably has nowhere to store all his bags.

• 1:02:51Brooke Averick?

Well, let's check in with him and we'll check in with y'all in the bonus. We love you. Thank you so much.

• 1:02:56Connor Wood?

  Goodbye. Ciao.
