In here, we pour whiskey, whiskey, whiskey, whiskey, whiskey.

• 2:09Speaker 04

You're that creature in the ginger beard. It's dirty and ginger.

• 2:13Speaker 05

Like they are, the ginger gene is a curse. Ginger's a beauty. You owe me $5 for the whiskey, $75.

• 2:20Speaker 04

  Ginger, I like gingers.

• 2:28Andrew Santino?

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Whiskey Ginger. My guest today is one of my favorite people on earth. I say that for all my guests, but I mean, once again today, it is the return of my dog, Ryan Sickler.

• 2:36Speaker 06

  Thank you, I'm back.

• 2:37Andrew Santino?

I've said this every time, you have such a, you have a Jersey name.

• 2:41Speaker 06

  Ryan Sickler feels Jersey?

• 2:42Andrew Santino?

Sickler, Sickler's a phenomenal Jersey name.

• 2:44Speaker 06

Well, you're, are you joking about that, or do you know about?

• 2:47Andrew Santino?

  No, what do you mean?

• 2:47Speaker 06

  Okay, so in-

• 2:48Andrew Santino?

  It's a great Jersey name.

• 2:49Speaker 06

I've had this sent to me a ton of times. Uh, there's a Sicklerville, New Jersey. You don't, are you fucking with me?

• 2:56Andrew Santino?

No, no, I'm saying for the back of a jersey.

• 3:00Speaker 06

I thought you said, talking about New Jersey.

• 3:02Andrew Santino?

  New Jersey, no dude, no.

• 3:05Speaker 06

But there just happens to be a Sicklerville, a Sickler Pond, a Sickler Bike Shop, people snapshot it to me all the time.

• 3:13Andrew Santino?

  No dude, I mean-

• 3:15Speaker 06

  Now I get it.

• 3:15Andrew Santino?

Sickler is a great Jersey name. Like, some people have great Jersey names, and like, I remember in high school, you'd see guys had perf- You were like, they should have gone pro. The name was better than the athlete, but Sickler is a good Jersey name.

• 3:28Speaker 06

  Appreciate it.

• 3:29Andrew Santino?

Like Corkery, not as good. No, not as good.

• 3:32Speaker 06

  How do you spell that?

• 3:34Andrew Santino?

  C-O-R-K-E-R-Y. Corkery, it's too Irish.

• 3:37Speaker 06

  That's tough.

• 3:37Andrew Santino?

Santino, good Jersey name. It's a good Jersey name. We could go through some of our friends. Who has probably the best Jersey name of everyone, anyone that we know?

• 3:46Speaker 06

  It's a good question. Lee's not a good one.

• 3:49Andrew Santino?

No, no, no, no. No, Bobby, Lee is not good.

• 3:51Speaker 06

  Lee is not good. Um-

• 3:53Andrew Santino?

I mean, maybe on a pitching staff of the Dodgers now. It's all Asian dudes, dude, it's amazing. It's a great-

• 3:59Speaker 06

  Coming out of the bullpen.

• 4:00Andrew Santino?

Dude, I would love it that every bullpen is all, is all Asian now. That's what I'm looking for, dude. I mean, we're working on it.

• 4:07Speaker 06

He does have a good one.

• 4:08Andrew Santino?

Well, Kreischer's a terrible, like, Bert, Kreischer's not a great Jersey. Segura's okay. It's alright.

• 4:13Speaker 06

I'm just trying to figure out who's got that strong one, like-

• 4:16Andrew Santino?

Yeah, who has the toughest one?

• 4:17Speaker 06

  Yeah, who's that one? Swartson's a-

• 4:19Andrew Santino?

Swartson's a good one, yeah, Swartson's really good. Swartson's good. No, Sickler's got a, it's got a great jersey name. I asked you before the show, who was this dog?

• 4:27Speaker 06

This is Hong Kong Fui right here, you don't remember him? Who's Hong Kong Fui? Well, I'm 52, how old are you?

• 4:31Andrew Santino?

  Forty-two.

• 4:32Speaker 06

Alright, so I got 10 on you.

• 4:33Andrew Santino?

Goddamn, you look younger than me.

• 4:34Speaker 06

  I appreciate it, I don't.

• 4:35Andrew Santino?

  I'm so burnt out.

• 4:35Speaker 06

  I don't.

• 4:36Andrew Santino?

Wait, but Hong Kong Fui was a-

• 4:37Speaker 06

That's what happens making all that money, dude. Look, look at me. See the difference between making money and not making money? Look at it, look at it.

• 4:43Andrew Santino?

You look younger than me, bro. Hong Kong Fui was what, a cartoon from when?

• 4:47Speaker 06

He was a cartoon, I would have to say probably the late 70s. I would see it as a kid. Uh, he drove a little Kung Fu Mobile and, um, I think it was, what's his name? Scatman or Catman Cruthers? I don't know his name.

• 5:01Andrew Santino?

  Scatman Cruthers?

• 5:02Speaker 07

  Scatman Cruthers.

• 5:03Speaker 06

Scatman Cruthers would do the voice. And he had a little cat, are you looking it up over there?

• 5:07Andrew Santino?

  Oh yeah.

• 5:08Speaker 07

  It's 1974, it's a Hanna-Barbera cartoon.

• 5:09Andrew Santino?

Hanna-Barbera, for sure. Well, it looks like it's got the Hanna-Barbera draw- Yeah, it looks like it.

• 5:13Speaker 06

And he was a crime fighting hero, he turned into Hong Kong Fui. He had a little cat sidekick, what's the cat's name? Little purple and pink guy, I think it was.

• 5:22Speaker 06

Like, almost looked a little like Alice in Wonderland-ish, am I right?

• 5:25Speaker 07

  Was it Rosemary?

• 5:25Andrew Santino?

  Rosemary?

• 5:26Speaker 07

  No. Rosemary, Spot, Sergeant Flint.

• 5:29Speaker 06

I don't know, he was the roll around little cat.

• 5:31Andrew Santino?

Just say Hong Kong Fui's, uh, sidekick.

• 5:33Speaker 07

No, this is all the characters.

• 5:34Speaker 06

He's got a bunch of them.

• 5:35Andrew Santino?

But type in Hong Kong Fui's sidekick cat. But what, did you love this as a kid? This was like your favorite shit?

• 5:40Speaker 06

He was one of these characters, I, I'd be seeing the Smurfs all the time and the G.I. Joes and the Bugs Bunnies and shit. And then Hanna-Barberas would come on and I liked Underdog and I liked all those that would be in there. And every now and then you'd see all these characters and this dude would roll on. And he was just so different and he just had such a vibe. And he's, you know, you got Cruthers doing his voice, the guy from The Shining, you know?

• 6:05Andrew Santino?

  Right, yeah.

• 6:06Speaker 06

That rich, old school, black man voice, it was just different.

• 6:10Andrew Santino?

  He was perfect.

• 6:11Speaker 06

  I really feel like-

• 6:12Andrew Santino?

It hit you in a, in a way.

• 6:13Speaker 06

I feel like I have the soul of an, a big, older, black lady. And I was good at it. I think in another life I was a big black lady.

• 6:20Andrew Santino?

Like you, like you were, you used to work at the post office?

• 6:22Speaker 06

Or wherever, but I think I was, I threw out a lot of, "Hey, baby!" A lot of those and I was good at it, "Come here, baby."

• 6:27Andrew Santino?

  "Come here, baby."

• 6:28Speaker 06

  Mm-hmm.

• 6:29Andrew Santino?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 6:29Speaker 06

"How's your mama?", a lot of those, you know?

• 6:31Andrew Santino?

  "Get out the street."

• 6:32Speaker 06

  Yeah!

• 6:33Andrew Santino?

"Y'all need to get up out the street."

• 6:35Speaker 06

Yup. "Just 'cause I hate your mama don't mean I won't beat your ass." We all look after one another, one of those in the neighborhood, you know?

• 6:42Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 6:42Speaker 06

I think I was one of those ladies back in the day.

• 6:44Andrew Santino?

My, my, my little sister, her babysitter, Christine, nanny Christine was a big, older black woman. And, uh, man, was I such a fucking little brat when I was around her too. She couldn't stand my little ass.

• 6:56Speaker 06

  Ever?

• 6:56Andrew Santino?

Andrew, you better cut, you better cut that shit out. Right, dude. I was always up to no good.

• 7:02Speaker 06

Every child should be raised, right there it is. That would straighten a lot of this world out, especially white kids.

• 7:07Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 7:08Speaker 06

  Every.

• 7:09Andrew Santino?

  Every white kid needs a.

• 7:10Speaker 06

Every privileged white kid should be raised by an older black lady that doesn't take shit.

• 7:14Andrew Santino?

  You better.

• 7:15Speaker 06

From anybody. Get to a point where you just give them a look and they settle down like, ah, it's time for me to go now. I gotta move on to another man, white kid.

• 7:24Andrew Santino?

She, yeah, she was, she was great, dude. She did, she hated my shit.

• 7:28Speaker 06

  She hated it.

• 7:29Andrew Santino?

Well, I was always up to no good, cause my sister and I are almost a decade apart. So I, I was, you know what I mean? Like when she was.

• 7:36Speaker 06

  She's older or you are?

• 7:37Andrew Santino?

I'm older. So when she was raising, she was helping babysit her. You know, I was just a little runaround punk. I was nine years old. I was causing chaos. Like, you know what I mean? I was getting into bullshit. That's when you really, I think seven is where you start to, start to get a little mischievous. Eight and nine is where you become a little motherfucker.

• 7:53Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 7:54Andrew Santino?

That's you become a little asshole. Like you're, you are begging for trouble, trying to do something stupid, stealing stuff.

• 8:00Speaker 06

Oh, I talk about shit like, we'd be playing Nintendo. And it would be like me and my other brother, a friend from the neighborhoods over, and then out of nowhere, a flame just shoots across our face. We're like, what the fuck? And my brother's just hitting Lysol with the. Just while we're playing though, you know what I mean? And that's the kinda shit you gotta look out for.

• 8:19Andrew Santino?

  That's what I mean.

• 8:19Speaker 06

  Yeah, exactly that.

• 8:20Andrew Santino?

  And.

• 8:21Speaker 06

You're like, what the fuck, man? And he's just over there, ha, ha, ha, right across both our faces, shit like that.

• 8:26Andrew Santino?

And you can't believe when something gets lit on fire. You're like, oh, we didn't even know, dad. I had no idea that the couch was that flammable.

• 8:33Speaker 06

Yeah, non-stop that kinda shit around our house.

• 8:36Andrew Santino?

  You're begging for trouble.

• 8:36Speaker 06

We're three boys, so two of us are twins, same age, so we're going at it. My younger brother's just about four years younger, so it's hell.

• 8:44Andrew Santino?

Yeah, well, you're whooping his ass, huh, the younger brother?

• 8:47Speaker 06

No, we never, we weren't allowed to beat his ass, but what we did was scared the fuck out of him. We would go around, outside the house, and he'd come around the corner like, ha! And my dad, he used to make me laugh, cause my dad would be like, stop doing that, you're gonna give him brain damage. That's what he would always say. That was what he would try to say. And then we were like, oh, we're definitely about to make this motherfucker.

• 9:07Andrew Santino?

As soon as you learn that that's how you get brain damage, you're like, brother.

• 9:10Speaker 06

  We could scare retarded.

• 9:12Andrew Santino?

  We could scare retarded.

• 9:12Speaker 06

Oh, we're about to do that.

• 9:13Andrew Santino?

This kid is done. This kid is cooked, buddy. Get your helmet, pal.

• 9:17Speaker 06

We're not gonna be like, oh, man, we shouldn't do that. Both of us are gonna be like, we're doubling down.

• 9:21Andrew Santino?

We're doubling down as hard as we can.

• 9:23Speaker 06

This motherfucker's gonna have a helmet, buddy, end of the school year, bro.

• 9:26Andrew Santino?

You're gonna get, well, you got a daughter. You got a daughter, so that's.

• 9:29Speaker 06

  But my daughter.

• 9:30Andrew Santino?

God calming you down a little bit.

• 9:31Speaker 06

  And I wanted that. Listen, I, I.

• 9:33Andrew Santino?

A son would have been a nightmare.

• 9:34Speaker 06

  I prayed for that.

• 9:35Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 9:35Speaker 06

More testosterone and more of the same. No, my cousins were all boys. Like, I had two girl cousins.

• 9:41Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 9:42Speaker 06

And I really did want a daughter, but she, like you, so she shares a mom.

• 9:47Andrew Santino?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 9:48Speaker 06

With her brother. So her brother's 11 years older.

• 9:51Andrew Santino?

Yeah, this is, I have, yeah.

• 9:52Speaker 06

  This is you guys.

• 9:52Andrew Santino?

  Same split, yeah.

• 9:53Speaker 06

  And he's a good older brother, so she's 11, he's 22 now. So, uh.

• 9:58Andrew Santino?

I was, I remember these years, by the way.

• 10:00Speaker 06

She gets a little bit of that over there.

• 10:01Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 10:02Speaker 06

And she gets me, too. And I'm still, you know, I treat her like an older brother sometimes. It's still.

• 10:09Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 10:09Speaker 06

Running around on the shoulders and like, she's in her room, laying on her bed, washing her tablet. I don't say anything, and I sneak in, I just pounce on top of her and I roll her up in a cradle. I'm like, this is a cradle. I put my knee in her, in her ribs, and I put.

• 10:22Andrew Santino?

Try to get out of it.

• 10:23Speaker 06

  Head on her temple.

• 10:23Andrew Santino?

  Try to get out.

• 10:24Speaker 06

I was like, you feel this pressure? This is what they do. And I go, you can imagine how that would hurt if I drove. And she's like, stop, dad. I'm like, alright.

• 10:30Andrew Santino?

You gotta keep her on her toes.

• 10:31Speaker 06

You want some Doritos or something?

• 10:34Andrew Santino?

  She's 11.

• 10:35Speaker 06

  She's 11. Big time.

• 10:37Andrew Santino?

Is it scary a little bit? Because you see her kind of getting, like, the teen is coming. And that's, you know, then she becomes her own little woman. That's kind of a trip.

• 10:45Speaker 06

The pre-teen, these days, I feel like, is the teen.

• 10:48Andrew Santino?

  Yeah, well, probably, yeah.

• 10:49Speaker 06

I'm getting a lot of eye rolls and attitudes.

• 10:52Andrew Santino?

No, no, no talking back, though.

• 10:53Speaker 06

  Um, yeah.

• 10:54Andrew Santino?

  Really?

• 10:55Speaker 06

Yeah, not talking back like, you know, I hate you or any of that kind of nonsense yet. But it's like, I did. I said I would. I'm getting some of that shit.

• 11:07Speaker 06

Like you gotta understand that I grew up with a brother who talked to me like that. And a mom who talked to me like that. We're not gonna do that.

• 11:13Andrew Santino?

We're not gonna do that here.

• 11:13Speaker 06

So I calmed down, you know, and I never put hands on. I never.

• 11:16Andrew Santino?

  No, no, no, no.

• 11:17Speaker 06

  You can't.

• 11:18Andrew Santino?

  You're not that guy.

• 11:19Speaker 06

Well, no, and you also, as a father to a daughter, like, I'm the first man she loves. I'm gonna set the example that it's okay for a man to put hands on you. No.

• 11:28Andrew Santino?

  No.

• 11:29Speaker 06

  No.

• 11:29Andrew Santino?

  That's a pretty great statement.

• 11:30Speaker 06

So if anyone ever does, you'd be like, oh, no, I know that doesn't happen.

• 11:35Andrew Santino?

  Right.

• 11:35Speaker 06

So she knows the deal. She knows what's up. She's got an older brother like you who can teach her what high school boys are like. And then the two of us can team up when they come over, you know what I mean?

• 11:47Andrew Santino?

It is funny, but that, that, that was like a, when my sister started dating. Now she's engaged to a guy I really like, so it's, it worked out. I got lucky. Cause when she started dating.

• 11:56Speaker 06

  All about us.

• 11:57Andrew Santino?

  Well, it is.

• 11:58Speaker 06

Not the fact that your sister did, and, and the child's gonna have a good dad, like, woo, I lucked out.

• 12:03Andrew Santino?

  I got lucky, woo!

• 12:05Speaker 06

  I did.

• 12:06Andrew Santino?

  I did, it's me.

• 12:06Speaker 06

  Yeah, it's you, bro.

• 12:07Andrew Santino?

Well, because as an older brother, they, she, you know, when she started dating, your, your, your antennas are way up. You're like, who's this guy? What's his thing? And she had a couple that were, you know, she would agree. Not my favorite. Did not enjoy their presence, but I was swallowing it, like, okay, whatever. That's okay if that's what you like, but, you know, you, you get guarded, you get protected, and it's hard to not be a little bit of a dick to your sister's boyfriend. It's almost impossible. I mean, it really, it's almost impossible. Cause you just have, you have.

• 12:39Speaker 06

It's also a bit of a rite of passage.

• 12:40Andrew Santino?

You have to, yeah, you have to fuck with him a little bit. If he, if he can't get through that, he's in deep shit.

• 12:45Speaker 06

That's the thing, cause it's me next.

• 12:47Andrew Santino?

  Right.

• 12:47Speaker 06

If your brother scares him off, wait till I get him. You know what I mean? What's he gonna do then?

• 12:51Andrew Santino?

  Yeah, no shit.

• 12:52Speaker 06

But also, I told my, uh, I called my stepson, I told him, uh, when we were pregnant, we didn't know what we were having, I was like, listen, if it's a boy. I'm telling you, if he's driving me nuts and he's old enough, I'm not gonna say a word. I'm just gonna look at you and give you a nod and I said, you can go fuck him up. And then at some point I'll step and I'll be like, that's enough! And I'll hit you with a wink and we do it. You know, you know how disappointed he was when he found out we were having a girl? He was, he's like, damn! I said, that's okay, that was one you got to fuck with. Now, you get to fuck with every boyfriend that comes over.

• 13:26Andrew Santino?

That's even easier, yeah, that's more fun.

• 13:28Speaker 06

That's better, it's more. I was like, we'll do it, we'll do it. But, I have a relationship with my daughter where I'm surprised, she tells me about her crushes.

• 13:34Andrew Santino?

  Oh, she does?

• 13:35Speaker 06

Oh, bro, she, oh my god, I'll say, I won't say who it is, this is so funny. So she tells me about her crushes, the ones she has crushes on. And then there are boys that have crushes on her.

• 13:44Andrew Santino?

Oh, okay, so she, well, she's got it all, she have a cellphone?

• 13:48Speaker 06

  She does have a cellphone.

• 13:50Andrew Santino?

  Cellphones at eleven is wild.

• 13:53Speaker 06

So, my daughter's mother and I agreed that we would not do a cellphone till at least sixth grade because she's close enough to the middle school that she'll walk.

• 14:01Andrew Santino?

  Right.

• 14:02Speaker 06

It's a couple blocks, but god forbid anything happens or whatever.

• 14:05Andrew Santino?

  That's safety.

• 14:06Speaker 06

I want you to have a phone, I can also track your location, etc. these days.

• 14:11Andrew Santino?

  That helps.

• 14:13Speaker 06

She's in fifth grade now, so I think it was fourth grade last year. Trying to remember when my daughter's mother's boyfriend gave her the gift.

• 14:23Andrew Santino?

  He gave her the phone?

• 14:24Speaker 06

  Oh, he did.

• 14:25Andrew Santino?

  Oh, that's an interesting move.

• 14:26Speaker 06

Now, did we have a conversation about that first? Yeah, sixth grade.

• 14:30Andrew Santino?

  Right.

Is when that phone comes in. Hadn't considered someone else's person going here. So what he did, I don't wanna get too into the story, was, I guess they were splitting and he was trying to like, trying to throw a grenade back like, I wanna be, you know, oh, look at this! Let's make it work! So he gave my daughter a used, wasn't an iPhone, I think it was an i, it's an iPod. It's an, it's a, the newer ones these days, whenever they st-

• 15:04Andrew Santino?

They're iPhones now, right? They just don't make cell calls?

• 15:08Speaker 06

I can FaceTime her on it.

• 15:09Andrew Santino?

Right, that's what I mean, right, just can't make cellular phone calls, but it can do-

• 15:12Speaker 06

She has to get on the internet herself, but yes, there's no cellular call.

• 15:16Andrew Santino?

  But it's basically an iPhone.

• 15:17Speaker 06

  It's, come on.

• 15:18Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 15:19Speaker 06

  Come on.

• 15:20Andrew Santino?

It's the same shit, cuz you can text and everything, yeah.

• 15:24Speaker 06

Let me take a sip of water.

• 15:27Speaker 06

If I had a girlfriend who did that to my daughter. You think I'm I'm I'm gonna hear about it a little bit?

• 15:34Andrew Santino?

  I thi- I think I am.

• 15:36Speaker 06

  I think I am.

• 15:37Andrew Santino?

  Just a little bit.

• 15:38Speaker 06

So then that becomes a thing. You're like, okay, this is what co-parenting is. You know what I mean? You gotta hadn't considered somebody else fucking up the plan with an iPhone or whatever. So now it's a whole thing. Like, there is no TikTok. There's no fucking.

• 15:54Andrew Santino?

None of the apps are on the thing.

• 15:55Speaker 06

None. I mean, there's no, there is one. And if there's parents out there, we use this one. It's called CoverStar.

• 16:01Andrew Santino?

  CoverStar?

• 16:02Speaker 06

Yeah. Have you ever heard of it?

• 16:03Andrew Santino?

  No.

• 16:04Speaker 06

It's basically TikTok Lite. Um, they monitor. So you can't even put, um, hell, yeah, it no language.

• 16:12Andrew Santino?

  CoverStar.

• 16:13Speaker 06

And there's no DMing. That's the thing. I had Chris Hansen on the Honeydew and he talked to me about, he has a whole documentary coming out about Roblox itself where, you know, when a new app comes out, normal people like us.

• 16:27Andrew Santino?

  Positive social media?

• 16:28Speaker 06

  Positive social media.

• 16:29Andrew Santino?

  That's what it says.

• 16:30Speaker 06

And, you know, we're trying to figure out how to use the app to our advantage. But before, we're there, these sickos are already figuring out how to use it for the, you know what I mean?

• 16:39Andrew Santino?

  Sure, of course.

• 16:40Speaker 06

Anything with a DM, he recommends you don't let your kids on. If there's a way a stranger could direct message, don't even let it. This one.

• 16:48Andrew Santino?

But does there comments? Can they comment?

• 16:50Speaker 06

You can comment, but nothing negative.

• 16:52Andrew Santino?

Uh, they filter. Oh, that's great. That's even better.

• 16:54Speaker 06

That's what I'm saying. It's a, and it's a, you can't say, hell, yeah, you know, you can't even use that word. So.

• 16:59Andrew Santino?

  That's great.

• 17:00Speaker 06

  Yeah.

• 17:00Andrew Santino?

I think fucking Instagram should do the same thing.

• 17:02Speaker 06

  It's like that, yeah.

• 17:03Andrew Santino?

Yeah, especially there should be, yeah.

• 17:05Speaker 06

  So.

• 17:05Andrew Santino?

  Carve out all that bullshit.

• 17:08Speaker 06

  But yeah.

• 17:08Andrew Santino?

Does she want the other stuff? Because her, yeah, because her friends have all that bullshit?

• 17:12Speaker 06

They all gonna want it. There will be a generation. Maybe it's her kids or her grandkids that push back and say, fuck social media. Like, there will come a time.

• 17:21Andrew Santino?

It's gotta be right after her. I think it's coming. I think we're not far away.

• 17:24Speaker 06

And and it may not be an end to social media, but it end the way we do it now with everything out there.

• 17:30Andrew Santino?

I think an end to social media.

• 17:31Speaker 06

Good luck running in politics anymore. They're gonna go back to your fucking Facebook when you're in 10th grade and get all the dumb shit you did or said. You know what I mean?

• 17:39Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 17:39Speaker 06

That's all it is anymore. Nobody is about policy or anything anymore. It's, hey, Andrew Santino is shit, and here's why.

• 17:48Andrew Santino?

Right, exactly. Yeah. Yeah, the lineup, every tweet you ever tweeted, every dumb response you ever had.

• 17:56Andrew Santino?

Yeah, the social media is a fucking toxic nightmare.

• 17:57Speaker 06

These girls, man, uh, the crush is so early, it's like.

• 18:02Andrew Santino?

Eleven. Well, when did you have your first crush? Do you remember?

• 18:04Speaker 06

Let me tell you, this is funny, bro. I will tell, I do remember. My, so my buddy's daughter, they're, my daughter and his daughter are like best friends. And we and, we've known each other since ninth grade. He happens to live out here in Temecula, works for GE.

• 18:22Andrew Santino?

  Good life, good gay.

• 18:22Speaker 06

  And we're buddies.

• 18:23Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 18:24Speaker 06

So we'll go down there sometimes, staycation, they come up. When the fires hit, we went down there and got the fuck out. Cause we were on the evacuation lines. We stayed down there. While we're down there for the fires, his daughter has these posters of boys on her wall.

• 18:40Andrew Santino?

  Like boy bands?

• 18:41Speaker 06

Nope. Um, they're guys from Outer Banks, the show is called. So, so, right. You shouldn't know. If you were like, yeah.

• 18:50Andrew Santino?

Bro, how do you know? I'm like, who, Bryce and Danny?

• 18:56Andrew Santino?

  It's a Netflix show?

• 18:57Speaker 06

Cause I've never heard of Outer Banks until this either.

• 18:59Andrew Santino?

Is it a reality show or a scripted show?

• 19:01Speaker 06

  That's a great, that's a great question. I still don't know.

• 19:03Andrew Santino?

  What is it?

• 19:04Speaker 07

It's kinda like a modern, like Dawson's Creek.

• 19:05Speaker 06

  Okay, it's their Dawson's Creek.

• 19:07Andrew Santino?

  Okay, I get it, yeah.

• 19:08Speaker 06

And it's got the heart throbs.

• 19:09Andrew Santino?

By the way, Outer Banks, I could, I almost saw already that it's like. Country boys, lake living, yeah.

• 19:15Speaker 07

  I think it's like a mystery too.

• 19:17Andrew Santino?

  It's a murder mystery, I bet.

• 19:18Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 19:19Andrew Santino?

These, these things are, by the way, when you hear these things and you go, should've wrote that. Should've fucking sold that, said some dumb fart wiener in the mouth comedy that we're trying to do. You sell that, you become a billionaire. You sit back and go, oh yeah, do teenage drama.

• 19:31Speaker 06

I sold a holiday movie. They play it every year in fucking, that's a good business move.

• 19:37Andrew Santino?

I know a guy that does exactly that.

• 19:38Speaker 06

  Mariah Carey.

• 19:39Andrew Santino?

Yeah, I know a guy that does Hallmark, writes Hallmark films. Phenomenal money, by the way. It's like, go do that.

• 19:45Speaker 06

She's got these posters of the, the heart throbs.

• 19:47Andrew Santino?

  Outer Banks boys, heart throbs.

• 19:49Speaker 06

And my daughter's tight with me. My daughter comes up to me after and goes, you know what Donna does with those posters? I go, what? And she goes, she kisses them goodnight every night. So I I go, she's kissing the boys, goodnight. And here's the other thing about these two, they're not, I would have been embarrassed as a kid.

• 20:07Andrew Santino?

  Remarkably.

• 20:08Speaker 06

I said, hey, little lady, are you kissing these posters, goodnight? She goes, mm-hmm. Like, no shame.

• 20:15Andrew Santino?

Doesn't care. She, would she tell her own parents, or just because it's you?

• 20:18Speaker 06

I think, I told her dad. I was like, do you know your daughter's kissing these posters at night? And he just laughs. He doesn't say anything, he just laughs. Like, I don't know what's going on.

• 20:28Andrew Santino?

  Eleven, kissing the posters.

• 20:30Speaker 06

So now my daughter has, you know, she knows who that guy is and...

• 20:34Andrew Santino?

Now she's tuned into the show?

• 20:35Speaker 06

Yeah. Well, she doesn't watch it, but she knows who they are, you know?

• 20:38Andrew Santino?

Right. Do you let her watch anything on Netflix? Do you let them, do you let her watch anything streaming, or no?

• 20:44Speaker 06

You know what's awesome about my, yes, my daughter has gone on to Netflix and she's found old school shows, like Sister Sister.

• 20:52Andrew Santino?

  What?

• 20:52Speaker 06

Yeah. My daughter watches old school sitcoms. And I'm like, where are you, what's this on? She's like, this one's on Netflix. I'm like, fuck, how the fuck do you even know Sister Sister? She knows that. Maybe it was the, the, um, uh, Full House re-

• 21:09Andrew Santino?

  Reboot.

• 21:10Speaker 06

Maybe it was that, that's sort of, that you, if you like that, maybe you'll like these. It could have been something like that, but she likes all that stuff. And she sits and watches it.

• 21:17Andrew Santino?

  Wow.

• 21:18Speaker 06

  It's fucking, I'm like-

• 21:19Andrew Santino?

Alright, tell, tell me about your first crush, if you remember it. I want us to get back to it.

• 21:22Speaker 06

  Okay, I will.

• 21:23Andrew Santino?

Cause I, I can tell you, I remember vividly, I remember the first time I felt the feeling.

• 21:28Speaker 06

  Mm-hmm.

• 21:28Andrew Santino?

  I very, very much so.

• 21:30Speaker 06

  Um, first grade.

• 21:32Andrew Santino?

  First grade?

• 21:32Speaker 06

  Yup.

• 21:33Andrew Santino?

  God damn.

• 21:33Speaker 06

Um, I won't say her last name, but her first name was Brandy. And she was a dark haired, blue eyed, cute little girl in my first grade class. And we were buds. And somehow-

• 21:50Speaker 06

I convinced my mom and dad. And she convinced her mom and dad to let her come over and play with me in the first grade.

• 21:58Andrew Santino?

  Oh wow.

• 21:58Speaker 06

And we got caught upstairs in my room, under a blanket, kissing. And when I say kissing, I'm just, I didn't even know about a tongue.

• 22:05Andrew Santino?

Well, yeah, you're probably hitting each other in the face. You probably don't even know.

• 22:08Speaker 06

We were just straight up head butting each other. And my mom caught us, and I was just like, fucking this girl's. And I was sprung, bro. She's handwriting me letters back. Man, come on.

• 22:20Andrew Santino?

  In first grade?

• 22:21Speaker 06

  There was nothing, yeah.

• 22:23Andrew Santino?

  Wow.

• 22:23Speaker 06

And then I'd have a girl, she was like first to second, and then I got a new girl in third, um, named Jen, Jennifer. And then I think that was till about fourth, and then fifth, I think I've, I just flew solo into fifth grade.

• 22:38Andrew Santino?

You were a bachelor going into fifth?

• 22:40Speaker 06

Sixth grade, sixth grade, I stepped my game up. Met a girl, and um, this girl was the one who just, I mean, blew my brains wide. Like, I was like,

• 22:53Andrew Santino?

  Sixth grade.

• 22:54Speaker 06

  What? Yeah, sixth grade.

• 22:55Andrew Santino?

Yeah, cuz I remember in sixth grade, there was a couple of girls in the class that, that finally had boobs, and I was like, wha? What happened last summer? Sixth grade was like the revolution. Yeah, it was, I remember being like, have you seen Natalie's boobs?

• 23:09Speaker 06

I'm also worried about that for these younger girls too. Like, those girls that have, you know, adult boobs in eighth grade.

• 23:15Andrew Santino?

Well, that's cuz of the fucking everything they're eating.

• 23:17Speaker 06

But you know these scumbag dudes are just hawking.

• 23:20Andrew Santino?

  Oh, yeah, yeah.

• 23:21Speaker 06

  Oh, hawking.

• 23:22Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 23:23Speaker 06

So, one thing my daughter's mom is good about is she is very good about, the message we have been good about is dudes are scumbags.

• 23:31Andrew Santino?

  Mm-hmm.

• 23:32Speaker 06

You're not wearing crop tops. You're not doing anything wrong. You look super cute in that, but the message you're putting out there to these scumbag men, I'm like, that's, that's a message we're on. I'm like, text her that shit on her iPhone. So, anyway.

• 23:49Speaker 06

Sixth grade, we're in Police Academy. We're seeing, that's, that's what a girlfriend was. Drop you off at the movies, you meet there, it's Police Academy.

• 23:57Andrew Santino?

  Good date, great movie.

• 23:58Speaker 06

Back then, there were two movies at the theater.

• 24:01Andrew Santino?

  Yep.

• 24:01Speaker 06

  Not forty-six.

• 24:02Andrew Santino?

  Nope, there was two.

• 24:04Speaker 06

And they lasted for months. You're like, that thing's still up there? God damn.

• 24:07Andrew Santino?

And then, and then it would be at the, it would be on the undercard when they put up a new movie and it'd be there for like one more, one more week or so and then they'd get rid of it.

• 24:15Speaker 06

Out of nowhere, she leans over and she kisses me and she shoves her tongue in my mouth.

• 24:21Andrew Santino?

In the theater, in the middle of the movie?

• 24:23Speaker 06

In the middle of the fucking movie theater. And let me tell you something, Andrew Santino, it was as if that woman plugged me in.

• 24:31Speaker 06

Okay? I hear about muddy waters taking the blues from the Delta to Chicago and plugging them in. This fucking girl plugged me in. I woke up that fucking day, night.

• 24:46Andrew Santino?

  At night.

• 24:47Speaker 06

And I started going, do it again, do it again, do it again. What I didn't know is there were two girls from our class right behind us who heard me. And then when we were outside the movie, this is also part of the filter I started building early too. They were like, do it again, do it again, making fun of me. And let me tell you something, I didn't give a fuck.

• 25:08Speaker 06

  I didn't give a fuck.

• 25:09Andrew Santino?

  Did not embarrassed at all?

• 25:10Speaker 06

  Not one time.

• 25:12Andrew Santino?

  Good.

• 25:12Speaker 06

But make fun of me all, do you know what just happened in there? Like, it blew me away. That, that was even a thing.

• 25:21Andrew Santino?

  Right.

• 25:21Speaker 06

That that, you'd even do that. It, I couldn't get over it. And then going back to like elementary school, because again, I'm older, there was nothing like a girl passing you a note in class. Or, or Andrew passes to Ryan.

• 25:36Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 25:37Speaker 06

You know, and then you're the guy in between, Andrew.

• 25:39Andrew Santino?

And then you, and then you go, what did she say?

• 25:41Speaker 06

  Mm-hmm.

• 25:41Andrew Santino?

  What does it say?

• 25:42Speaker 06

It's telling me to check yes or no.

• 25:45Andrew Santino?

I remember loving getting a phone call from a girl about her girlfriend. Who's there?

• 25:50Speaker 06

  Who likes you?

• 25:51Andrew Santino?

Yeah, she likes you, do you wanna talk to her? They make someone else call for you, man, those days were fantastic. The excitement, the buildup, the anxiety.

• 26:00Speaker 06

  All of it.

• 26:01Andrew Santino?

  I mean.

• 26:01Speaker 06

Now, here's the thing about my twin brother, we look nothing alike, we're fraternal twins, he's tall and skinny. I'm the rugged one with the good looks and the sense of humor. But we sound really similar.

• 26:12Andrew Santino?

  You have the same voice.

• 26:13Speaker 06

And it, even to this, I'm fifty-two, as I've said here. I will say something sometimes and I'll hear it, him. In my head, I'm like, ugh, ugh. I can hear it exactly. So when we were kids, our aunts, they couldn't tell us apart when we answered the phone. Hey Ryan, it's Derek. Hey Derek, it's Ryan. So there would be times that if a girl called and liked me and I didn't wanna, he'd fucking get the phone. I'm out there, like I said, playing Nintendo, this motherfucker's in the back of the bedroom setting up a date with, for me. Hey, you're going out with so-and-so, I'm like, what? He's like, I just set up a date with you, I'm like, what are you talking about? And it just sounds like me, so they would fucking.

• 26:50Andrew Santino?

  Are you still in Baltimore?

• 26:51Speaker 06

  He's in Delaware.

• 26:52Andrew Santino?

In Delaware? What, do you and your, are you and your brother tight?

• 26:56Speaker 06

Yeah, my brothers, we're all tight.

• 26:58Andrew Santino?

Other side of the world, but still.

• 27:00Speaker 06

Yeah, one brother in Maryland, one in Delaware, and I'm still tight with, like, the shit that went down for us with, you know, my mom splitting early, then my dad dying, we were the kids in your high school that had no parents. So we had a ton of kids at our house, Monday to Sunday. And I'm still friends with at least ten to twelve of those guys from, from sixth grade on, yeah.

• 27:23Andrew Santino?

Did you have like an older guy, couple classes older, that was kinda like your father figure? No.

• 27:28Speaker 06

We had no George Michael, no.

• 27:30Andrew Santino?

  No George Michael.

• 27:34Andrew Santino?

Well, that's what happens, a lot of times guys get latched on, especially, especially in sports. There was a lot of guys that I knew that if they didn't have dads or brothers and they would latch on to like the older, the senior guy, you know, as like his father figure.

• 27:45Speaker 06

That would have happened, but the fact that there were two of us.

• 27:48Andrew Santino?

Yeah, I guess that's, yeah, you gotta support this.

• 27:51Speaker 06

And not to brag or anything like that, we played every sport, we were very popular in high school. Especially because, guess where we're going tonight? The Sickler's house.

• 28:00Andrew Santino?

  Right.

• 28:01Speaker 06

The Sickler brothers' house. The Sickler, every fucking day, but we were so into sports. That we, if you missed, if you missed class or anything, you couldn't practice. And if you couldn't practice, you couldn't play. And we loved sports. So we were, we were all, football players spent the night, soccer, everybody. We made sure everybody's got their ass up. We made sure everybody was at school on time. It's weird. It was the late eighties. We're talking eighty-nine, ninety, ninety-one, these three years. I'm still friends with these people. They come and see me on tour, these people's parents.

• 28:34Andrew Santino?

  I love that.

• 28:35Speaker 06

What the fuck were you guys thinking? Ever letting your kids spend the night in high school, you know? But they knew what had happened. People were, they were friends with my dad, you know? And they're like, go over and, and the rule was this. If your grades suffer, if you start fucking up, it's done. And I'm telling you, dude, I graduated with a three point O. We never fucked up.

• 28:57Andrew Santino?

  Yeah, cuz you knew better.

• 28:58Speaker 06

  We never fucked up.

• 28:59Andrew Santino?

  You're three point O?

• 29:00Speaker 06

Mm-hmm. Well, look, that's not bragging.

• 29:02Andrew Santino?

I was in the shade. I was below the B. I was right in the C shade.

• 29:06Speaker 06

  Without parents, that's a four point O.

• 29:08Andrew Santino?

  Yeah, that is.

• 29:09Speaker 06

For the curve, I got an eight. But there was one night, I, I tell this story, this makes me laugh. We all would be there together and you couldn't fuck up. We got the baseball guys, we're all wrestling, all of them. And my buddy, Chris, uh, Sheeler, and he had a stutter when he got nervous. And the way he would stutter wasn't like, he wouldn't hit a letter like ta, ta, ta, ta. He would hold it. He'd be like, what are we gonna do, man?

• 29:34Speaker 06

I gotta, I got a mobile due tomorrow for science class. We're like, what are you talking about right now? This motherfucker had a solar system mobile due for his science project. It's, it's Thursday night. It's due tomorrow, Friday. He's had weeks to do it.

• 29:50Speaker 06

We got tiny little TV in this corner with the Nintendo. I mean, the tiny little TV over here, it's Thursday night. It's Cheers, Night Court, it's that night.

• 29:58Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 29:59Speaker 06

Over here on the big TVs, the Nintendo, we're all playing Little League Baseball or whatever.

• 30:34Speaker 01

• 31:04Speaker 06

Closest store is Kmart up the street. It's about to close. And Kmart back then had a little arts and crafts section. So, three of us, me, my younger brother and Sheila, we roll up to Kmart and we get all the ingredients and shit we need to make this solar system mobile. The Jupiter, you know what I mean? The big styrofoam balls, they're just white balls.

• 31:24Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 31:25Speaker 06

And we go home, and there's so many people there, like, "You got Jupiter, you got Saturn, you got Pluto." And everybody's helping everybody do their project. This motherfucker went to school the next day, got an A on that mobile. And we're all doing it at the house that night. So, there were never, no drinking and driving arrests, or crashes, or problems. No overdoses, no nothing. Cops came plenty of times, but they never took anyone. It was more the threat of, "Your neighbors are calling, you got all underage drinking going on, let's clear this shit up."

• 31:57Andrew Santino?

But underage drinking, they're just kids having fun. Not hurting anybody.

• 32:02Speaker 06

And eventually, they figure out who we are. Because we had a buddy whose uncle was a state trooper, and he's like, "Look, those guys have no parents, like, go by and check on them."

• 32:10Andrew Santino?

  Right.

• 32:11Speaker 06

  You know what I mean?

• 32:11Andrew Santino?

  See if everything's good.

• 32:12Speaker 06

If something bad, yes, but they're alright. And PS, my nephew's over there, too.

• 32:17Andrew Santino?

Yeah, I got a kid over there, so me and I, we had a couple of-

• 32:20Speaker 06

His name was Barry, I loved him. I go down to my buddy Chris's house, and it was his cousin Barry, and he had the state trooper car, and he parked on the yard. I was like, "Oh, Barry's here."

• 32:30Speaker 06

There's only one state drew her car parked on the yard. There he is.

• 32:33Andrew Santino?

We had these dump houses. We had these places where we could, we could go and like everyone could just crash out and it is, it is kind of beautiful. My buddy Tommy, who's no longer with us anymore.

• 32:43Speaker 06

  Alright.

• 32:43Andrew Santino?

He, I know, he was the best, Tom. God, that motherfucker was the most fun. Like he, but he was mischievous. He was always like, he'd be like, do you want to come to the house and do gravity bongs at lunch? And I'd be like.

• 32:54Speaker 06

  At lunch?

• 32:55Andrew Santino?

  Dude, come on.

• 32:55Speaker 06

  We wouldn't leave for lunch.

• 32:56Andrew Santino?

  Oh, we did.

• 32:57Speaker 06

  Oh, we.

• 32:57Andrew Santino?

We were, we were troublemakers, dude.

• 33:01Andrew Santino?

I used to go get ripped at lunch.

• 33:03Speaker 06

  Lunch?

• 33:03Andrew Santino?

Well, here's why. We would organize it so post lunch, you'd have either like study hall, uh, gym, or like you'd have a gap after lunch. So you'd have some time to recover to get back for the last two classes of the day or whatever it was. But yeah, we used to go to Tom's house because we could get there quick enough from school.

• 33:20Speaker 06

And get, we were right by school.

• 33:21Andrew Santino?

Fucking ripped. Yeah, he lived near school. I lived nowhere near my high school.

• 33:24Speaker 06

  We could get to school.

• 33:25Andrew Santino?

Oh, I was probably, I was probably eight to 10 miles away from my school. I was nowhere near my high school. Cause I wasn't even supposed to go to the, I mean, technically my neighborhood should go to the one that's way closer. But this was a better school. So my mom was like, you're going there.

• 33:38Speaker 06

At our house. You would have definitely been hanging there every week.

• 33:41Andrew Santino?

Oh, I would have loved it.

• 33:41Speaker 06

You'd have been one of the dudes when we come home one time, everybody's in our house already.

• 33:46Andrew Santino?

Oh yeah, they're there without you.

• 33:47Speaker 06

I go, who the fuck let you in? Uh, Derek did. I go, did he? Hey Derek. Derek comes up. That's my brother.

• 33:53Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 33:54Speaker 06

Who let you in? Derek's right here. He's with me. Todd. Oh, hold on. Todd. I said, we just got back from our grandma's. Who let you in? We climbed up on the roof and went through the window. 12 people in there for hours.

• 34:05Andrew Santino?

You didn't leave the doors unlocked though?

• 34:06Speaker 06

No, but they knew how to get in.

• 34:08Andrew Santino?

See, I knew, that was, a lot of these kids always had doors.

• 34:10Speaker 06

Climbed up to the roof, popped the window and then he could go in.

• 34:13Andrew Santino?

My buddy Tyler, they always had, the garage door was always unlocked. So if you could get to the side back door, it was never locked.

• 34:18Speaker 06

But there was no parents there. That's the other thing. You didn't risk anybody.

• 34:22Andrew Santino?

  Right.

• 34:22Speaker 06

You know what I mean? Hey, what the fuck you kids are, dude, we would do shit. This, this, so if you were a dick, we'd have the winter parties. We'd make it, we'd take your jacket. You just put your jacket in that room over there. And if you were a dick, you didn't get your jacket. And most likely, if you, if you've touched a girl or fucked with a girl, you got your ass beat by so many dudes and then we'd take your shoes. Your shoes and your jacket, you'd go home with that. And we're seeing you. P S. These ain't strangers. We're seeing you at school on Monday, motherfucker. And I might wear your shoes. You got a size 10? The other thing people would do, this one was a good one too. They, and they're doing it at our house. We didn't even know about it. There was a ski place in li- uh, Pennsylvania called Ski Liberty, okay?

• 35:07Speaker 06

It was a shit, it was sheets of ice, okay? Just sheets of ice, but we'd go for like twelve bucks.

• 35:13Andrew Santino?

  Little mini bunny hill, yeah.

• 35:15Speaker 06

We'd come back one night and there's fucking skis, like, look, brand new, popped up on the wall, two of them. I go, would y'all bring your skis back? Like, no. John, John stole them. I'm like, what? He's like, mhm, and we're gonna raffle them off tonight. And I said, oh, that's a great idea.

• 35:32Andrew Santino?

  That's a great idea.

• 35:33Speaker 06

So we would take twenty dollar raffle tickets for some gently used, brand new skis. And we'd raffle off, make a few hundred dollars off these stolen skis. I was like, that's a good one, guys, that's a good one.

• 35:47Andrew Santino?

Did you do it again? Did they do it again or no?

• 35:49Speaker 06

We did it like three or four times. They would just steal skis, people go into the damn lodge, they would, they'd look for a good pair, they're like, these look ni- pretty nice. They take them, go back, and then we'd raffle them off by the end of the night, be thirty or forty people.

• 36:00Andrew Santino?

You guys are why it's so hard to now rent skis when you go somewhere. They make you sign fucking fifty things. They take pictures of your license.

• 36:06Speaker 06

I don't know if we were renting them, I, I mean.

• 36:08Andrew Santino?

No, that's what I mean though, that's why now, yeah, they were stealing them.

• 36:12Speaker 06

That, that, that person was gonna rent them later that day.

• 36:17Andrew Santino?

I just got asked that yesterday too. Uh, we're going out to Park City for Christmas and someone was like, are you gonna go skiing? And I haven't been skiing since I got hurt, and I've been skiing and it's been six year, five years now. This'll be the sixth season. And I miss it so much. It is one of my favorite things, but good Christ, man. When you get older, my body, I don't even know if I can do it. I know that sounds terrible, but I don't even know if I want to. Cause I'm afraid of getting hurt, hurt.

• 36:39Speaker 06

That's the problem. It's not the, you can't do it, it's.

• 36:41Andrew Santino?

I just don't wanna get hurt.

• 36:42Speaker 06

  If I fall.

• 36:43Andrew Santino?

  Uh, yeah, how bad?

• 36:44Speaker 06

The old school fall was a bruise on my hip. Now it's a whole shattered hip and every ligament is torn and somehow my, my, my elbow went with it too.

• 36:54Andrew Santino?

I hear those stories from, you know, you hear the stories from the older generation and you're like, what do you mean? What do you mean he's got a fucking slipped disc? And he just fell on the hill.

• 37:02Speaker 06

You know how people want to ride motorcycles, but they're scared. To ride the two, so they get that trike.

• 37:08Andrew Santino?

  Yeah, yeah, that's true, yeah.

• 37:10Speaker 06

There should be something like that for skiing.

• 37:12Andrew Santino?

  I totally agree.

• 37:13Speaker 06

Like, not a snowmobile, but give me something else that lets me get down that fucking.

• 37:17Andrew Santino?

Well, they have a, they have one that you sit on that has three skis that it's ju- they have something like that.

• 37:21Speaker 06

  They do?

• 37:22Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 37:22Speaker 06

Why am I not on that?

• 37:25Andrew Santino?

I don't know how bad you want to take that up the mountain.

• 37:26Speaker 06

I don't give a fu- here's my point. All I want to do is have fun going down the mountain. I don't want to do it necessarily the way you say I gotta do it.

• 37:34Andrew Santino?

  Right, that's true.

• 37:34Speaker 06

I just want to get down that mountain.

• 37:35Andrew Santino?

I think it's harder to get that bike up there, though. You gotta hold that shit on the lift. That's gonna be fucking, that's gonna be tough.

• 37:43Andrew Santino?

Yeah, sir, put your legs down. I can't.

• 37:46Speaker 06

  I can't, my, uh.

• 37:48Andrew Santino?

  Look up ski bikes.

• 37:52Andrew Santino?

One second, folks, one second. I always had panic at that, too. I was such a pussy. I was so scared about getting stuck. Show them the ski bike.

• 38:00Speaker 06

  God damn it.

• 38:00Andrew Santino?

Show them what it looks like. Yeah, that's it right there?

• 38:02Speaker 06

Oh, yeah, I've seen that. Alright, no, we ain't taking that down.

• 38:05Andrew Santino?

Yeah, well, see what I'm saying?

• 38:06Speaker 06

No, I mean, you gotta come up with something else, like some, like, I don't know what it is. Maybe it's a chair. Maybe it's like things in a chair and I can just sit.

• 38:13Andrew Santino?

Well, have you, have you seen the, um, um, I don't even know what they're called, but they're like mini, they're literally called mini, they're like mini skis.

• 38:19Speaker 06

  I've seen the smaller skis.

• 38:20Andrew Santino?

And they're just like the size of your shoes.

• 38:22Speaker 06

  That's what I feel like.

• 38:23Andrew Santino?

Cause you can't, you won't be able to go that fast.

• 38:24Speaker 06

  That's what I, look.

• 38:26Andrew Santino?

  That, that I could do.

• 38:27Speaker 06

I was never good on two sticks and two different legs. I was better snowboarding.

• 38:31Andrew Santino?

Me, that's all I ever did, yeah. Yeah, those are great. Snow blades, snow blades. So, so here's the thing, you can't get that much because of this lack of, I mean, you can go fast, but certainly not as fast as you can on longer skis.

• 38:44Speaker 06

  That's the other thing.

• 38:45Andrew Santino?

  That's what I'm saying, I don't either. I don't want it.

• 38:46Speaker 06

  I want those, then.

• 38:47Andrew Santino?

  I like that.

• 38:48Speaker 06

I feel like they'd be better on the shorter than the longer, anyway, it's that clunky, fucking.

• 38:52Andrew Santino?

  Hate that.

• 38:53Speaker 06

But the, the shorter ones, yeah.

• 38:55Andrew Santino?

That I think I could do, but I, I snowboarded because I couldn't, I learned skiing once when I was young and then in high school, I learned how to snowboard because I had a couple of friends that were very good. And then I just stuck with it and I like that more. Rhythm wise, it felt more normal than skis.

• 39:11Speaker 06

Yes, and also coming from just skateboarding as a kid, it was more natural to me to be on something like that.

• 39:17Andrew Santino?

Yeah, same. Yeah, but those I could do, because you can't get that fast. And the fall looks like it would hurt less because you don't have fucking poles and skis and you're not, you know what I mean?

• 39:27Speaker 06

Well, you're not crisscrossing and jacking your fucking skis in the air and you're laying there and shit like, what are we talking about? We're stealing these motherfuckers and we're going back to my house.

• 39:38Speaker 06

  Fucking, like.

• 39:40Andrew Santino?

Before we forget, before we keep going too far. Please, everyone, right now, watch Sickler's special. It's available on his YouTube channel, uh, right now. Please go watch it. We'll put the link in the description down below. Uh, where'd you shoot this one?

• 39:52Speaker 06

  Comedy on State, Madison, Wisconsin.

• 39:54Andrew Santino?

One of the best clubs in the absolute country.

• 39:56Speaker 06

  No doubt.

• 39:57Andrew Santino?

And I say one of the best, but it's sneakily probably the best. They might be number one. I don't know. They keep, they're a good contender, man.

• 40:03Speaker 06

They're absolutely in the running for it.

• 40:05Andrew Santino?

And that family is the best, dude.

• 40:07Speaker 06

Yeah, they're great. Everyone there was great. The crew, the whole staff, like, the shows were sold out. Like, it was, it was awesome.

• 40:15Andrew Santino?

You know what makes that place so good? They put the comics first. They make the comedy a pri, they make the comics and the comedy a priority. And I'm not saying before. People, I'm saying, they put them first in their mind as an entertainment value. So they go, this is what we do. We have, it's a com, it's for comedians to do comedy, right? And then the other stuff fills in. Instead of, we're running a business and then also we have comedy here.

• 40:37Speaker 06

Hey, what's your name again? Brian? Cool. We're gonna be selling chicken fingers tonight, too, for one. So if you could run five, 10 minutes longer, we get those checks out, thank you.

• 40:46Andrew Santino?

But isn't that the funniest part to think about? It's like, yes, I get that it's a business. We're not stupid. But if you put the comics and the comedy first, the business is going to be there. It will support the thing that you wanted to make great in the first place. It just, it's so funny. It's such a clear example of like, when you do the other way, and we've seen it a million times at some of these spots. It's just a shitty experience for the audience, for the staff, for the comedians. It just sucks. But when you put it the other way, when you make it staff-friendly and heavy, you know, that are super supportive of the system, that are kind of like drinking the Kool-Aid that are in on this as a team thing, and it's about a great comedy show and making a great night for the audience,

• 41:27Andrew Santino?

then the business obviously thrives. I mean, it's just, it's easy math. I don't know why more people didn't follow this. They obviously did a system. They should sell a fucking book on how to make a club that has all the right elements to it. Cause a lot of times you go on the road, you go to places, you're like...

• 41:41Speaker 06

Or everyone should go to Comedy on State or Comedy Works and be trained on how to do this.

• 41:46Andrew Santino?

That's what I'm saying. They should sell classes on how to fucking do it.

• 41:49Speaker 06

Cause there is, if you've been in these businesses and establishments as we have, and all of us, it's, all of us say the same thing. These are the top clubs.

• 42:01Andrew Santino?

  Yeah, I know.

• 42:02Speaker 06

And we say it for a reason. And then...

• 42:04Andrew Santino?

  Nobody follows suit.

• 42:05Speaker 06

  Nobody follows suit.

• 42:06Andrew Santino?

I know. But it is what it is. I just was up in San Francisco and I loved that too. I had a fun time up there. I did Punch and I haven't, I have never really, uh, I hadn't settled into a weekend at Punch, I don't think. I think I'd only done Cobb's and whatever, but it was lovely, man. I had a wonderful time up there too, but, but Comedy on State, great place to shoot this special, man.

• 42:24Speaker 06

  Oh, great.

• 42:25Andrew Santino?

  It's phenomenal.

• 42:26Speaker 06

Everyone there is great. Jesse, the whole crew there was awesome.

• 42:28Andrew Santino?

How many is this for you? How many specials have you put out?

• 42:30Speaker 06

  It's only two.

• 42:31Andrew Santino?

  Really?

• 42:31Speaker 06

Mm-hmm. I mean, I've done albums, you know, before.

• 42:34Andrew Santino?

I miss albums. I miss how cool comedy albums were.

• 42:38Speaker 06

  I agree.

• 42:39Andrew Santino?

I don't know if anybody gives a shit about them anymore.

• 42:41Speaker 06

It's, you know what, they do, but it's like, guys our age, and I shouldn't say guys, people our age, there are more audio files. I see that in my audio downloads for the podcast. I'm like, oh, so many of you still listen.

• 42:53Andrew Santino?

  I think they prefer listening.

• 42:54Speaker 06

The younger generation likes to watch, you know, the YouTube, but there's so many people still audio. I, I still go back and listen to old Richard Pryor.

• 43:04Andrew Santino?

  Do you?

• 43:04Speaker 06

I closed the, I shut all the lights off in my place. I light up joints and I listen to... Uh, I mean, my favorite is, um, Richard Pryor live in concert, like, that's the best.

• 43:15Andrew Santino?

Well, you can't say some of the other albums, so that's probably a big part of it.

• 43:18Speaker 06

Couple of them you can't, couple of them you can't. Um, but, man, to hear the coughs in the crowd and a, a fork hit a plate. Like, I like that shit.

• 43:29Andrew Santino?

Yeah, what do you mean, it's great.

• 43:29Speaker 06

I know, we're into it, you know, but I really, there's a part in the special where I had people laughing and as it calms down, I start to hear all these coughs going around the room. And I was like, oh, these people are coughing because they were laughing so hard, now they're coughing. And I was like.

• 43:45Andrew Santino?

  Leave it in.

• 43:45Speaker 06

You might not hear it at all, I heard it.

• 43:47Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 43:47Speaker 06

  Keep that shit in.

• 43:48Andrew Santino?

  That's cool.

• 43:49Speaker 06

  Keep that shit in.

• 43:50Andrew Santino?

  That is phenomenal.

• 43:51Speaker 06

  Yeah, keep it in.

• 43:52Andrew Santino?

Now, did you change anything about the stage at all, or you left it how it was? You, you did it.

• 43:56Speaker 06

No, we only, only thing we changed was they put a stage extender on it. So we had a little more room to move down front and light it a little more.

• 44:03Andrew Santino?

  Sure.

• 44:04Speaker 06

Instead of just staying back in that.

• 44:05Andrew Santino?

Did you direct it, or so who did you bring in somebody?

• 44:07Speaker 06

No, Sam Volin directed this one. I did my last one like you did.

• 44:10Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 44:11Speaker 06

But this one I wanted to be a hundred percent present and not even in my head at all worried about it. They getting this, or they getting that?

• 44:18Andrew Santino?

You do think about it when you're.

• 44:19Speaker 06

You can't help it, it's your job.

• 44:21Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 44:21Speaker 06

If you say I'm gonna direct something, then it's your job to also be thinking about that.

• 44:24Andrew Santino?

  I know.

• 44:25Speaker 06

  That's your job.

• 44:26Andrew Santino?

  It's a burden that I don't think you need.

• 44:27Speaker 06

And so I felt so much freer and, uh, you know, honestly, doing this, I didn't even, during the whole time, I didn't even think we're shooting a special. I just was in the moment, having fun with the fucking crowd. And then after, it's like, did we get it? Yeah, okay.

• 44:42Andrew Santino?

  Yeah, you got it.

• 44:42Speaker 06

  We're good.

• 44:43Andrew Santino?

What'd you do, how many shows?

• 44:44Speaker 06

  Just two, and.

• 44:45Andrew Santino?

  Saturday night?

• 44:46Speaker 06

This is why I love Madison as well. I had never been to Comedy on Stage. I was there in November, what are we in now, twenty-five? I was there in November of twenty twenty-four for my first time.

• 44:57Andrew Santino?

  Wow.

• 44:57Speaker 06

And it was such a great experience. I'd been looking for a place to do my special, talking to some people, and Jesse's like, well, this is what we do, and people have been shooting here, blah, blah, blah. I was like, you guys will let me do it here? I didn't even think it was an option. They're like, yeah. I was like, oh, my God, so. I don't know how long I need to wait to come back, but whatever. So we, we do it in May, I think it was, I did it in May? And next door at the big theater.

• 45:22Andrew Santino?

  Mm hmm.

• 45:23Speaker 06

That night, it's a Saturday night. I've got two shows. They both sell out and I find out Tom Papa's next door. And that week, Monday through Thursday, is Sam Morril, Stavros, Trevor Wallace. And I'm like, man, I can't believe I sold any fucking tickets. That was what was up against me this whole time. Dude, thank you, Madison, Wisconsin. Showed up, showed out.

• 45:48Andrew Santino?

  Yeah.

• 45:48Speaker 06

Sold out shows to the Gills and they were fucking the best crowd.

• 45:53Andrew Santino?

I had a similar fight, by the way. I went up against Shane Gillis in the fucking arena and Kevin Hart in the field house down the street. So my fucking agents, I was like, good job, boys. You fucking idiots. Shane played Shane played where the fucking Timberwolves play, so tough, tough, tough. I was like, holy shit, dude. I even said to Shane, I go, thank fucking god you're so famous that he sold that thing out in probably ten minutes. So I was like, great. Then the then the stragglers got to come to my show.

• 46:20Speaker 06

Yeah, yeah, yeah. The people that were slept on those tickets.

• 46:22Andrew Santino?

And then Shane Shane Reed and then Shane goes, well, no one from Kevin Hart's coming to yours. I was like, well, that's yeah, okay. We're probably not sharing the same audience as Kevin Hart. I go, probably Kevin Hart. I'm not stealing any of his crowd. I go, Shane. Thankfully, selling out so hard let some people come to our show. But I I was, at first I did fuck my head up. I'm not gonna lie. When I found out about it, I was like, great, there's Kevin Hart and fucking Shane in town. What? Like, this isn't, I immediately got in my head. I was like, well, the the shows are gonna be light. Some people probably bought tickets early and then they're gonna switch and decide to go to something else. But no, no, we got, I got lucky. It was, it was fucking rad. I did Minnesota and it was great. And I'll never do Minnesota again because it gives him too much ego because he's from there.

• 47:01Speaker 06

  Oh, yeah.

• 47:02Andrew Santino?

Yeah, he loves that shit. He's sick.

• 47:03Speaker 06

  It is a great comedy.

• 47:04Andrew Santino?

It's phenomenal. It's fucking phenomenal. And his mom and dad came, which was great. And they partied pretty hard with us and his dad.

• 47:10Speaker 06

I don't really even usually go out and do shit when I'm on the road, but I did go see Paisley Park.

• 47:15Andrew Santino?

  Oh, you did? Yeah, yeah.

• 47:16Speaker 06

  Oh, man.

• 47:17Andrew Santino?

Wait, what do you mean? You don't, you don't, you don't do any, you stay in the hotel and just write? Stay in the hotel.

• 47:21Speaker 06

  I sleep.

• 47:22Andrew Santino?

  That's all you do?

• 47:23Speaker 06

That's not all I do, but it's mostly what I do.

• 47:25Andrew Santino?

Oh, brother, I gotta get out.

• 47:26Speaker 06

I go on the road to sleep.

• 47:27Andrew Santino?

  I'm a busybody boy.

• 47:28Speaker 06

I sleep, then I get up, I'll go find a nice place to have a lunch or whatever like that, but I don't give a fuck about your museums and shit. I really don't give a shit.

• 47:36Andrew Santino?

Oh, see, I like to go see something. I wanna go see something. I wanna go like-

• 47:39Speaker 06

Philly I did, like Philly, we went to the Liberty Bell. We went and did a bunch of-

• 47:42Andrew Santino?

  Sure.

• 47:42Speaker 06

Stuff there. It depends on the city, but sometimes when I go and it's Minnesota and it's negative ten degrees, I'm like, it's either the mall-

• 47:48Andrew Santino?

Well, yeah, no, no. Yeah, no.

• 47:50Speaker 06

  Or nothing else.

• 47:51Andrew Santino?

Yeah, that I agree. No, I'm not doing it. But if it's nice, like, every time I go to a city, I usually try to find out where's the, where's the best restaurant? What's the best-

• 47:58Speaker 06

  Yeah, food for sure.

• 47:59Andrew Santino?

What's the best bar? What's the best spot to go see? Like, what's the best sneaky thing to go get into? That I'll try to do. Like, every time in San Francisco, and I did not fucking go this time, cuz I was laying it easy on, on the sauce, but I, um, I go up to Buena Vista, uh, to have an Irish coffee. I do, that's tradition, and I didn't do it this year. I'm a little mad. But there's that, I mean, I think it, look up Buena Vista, San Francisco. I think it's where they say, uh, the Irish coffee started, or so they, you know.

• 48:27Speaker 06

  Americans say that?

• 48:28Andrew Santino?

Yeah, you know what I mean. So they protest that. It's like where this version of it happened, you know?

• 48:33Speaker 07

Yeah, nineteen fifty-two. The first introduced the drink in the US.

• 48:36Andrew Santino?

Yeah, to the US, right. But Buena Vista, one of the best views, it's fucking stunning, and it's overlooking the water, and you go in the evening, right before a show, uh, I would just go sit, have an Irish coffee, get a little caffeine and a little, how are ya? It's maybe one of my favorite things to do, but I have those little things in every city where it's like, oh, I always do this when I go there, so I like it. Because I don't know, man, the anxiety of sitting in the hotel. If I'm sitting around-

• 48:58Speaker 06

  Oh, I can't sit in a hotel. That's-

• 49:00Andrew Santino?

  I'll get-

• 49:00Speaker 06

  There's nothing more depressing.

• 49:01Andrew Santino?

  Spinning wheels. Oh, yeah.

• 49:02Speaker 06

I don't care if you're in the best health state, mental health state, sitting in a hotel room all day will fuck you up.

• 49:09Andrew Santino?

I don't know what it is, man.

• 49:10Speaker 06

I get out. I go work out. I walk usually. I try to walk and just clear my head.

• 49:14Andrew Santino?

  I like taking long walks.

• 49:15Speaker 06

  Stuff like that.

• 49:16Andrew Santino?

But that's why I think the pilots, you hear about pilots that get really depressed. I remember reading an article about pilots, like, high suicide rate and all this stuff, and I thought, well, the pressure I know is high in their job, but then I also thought, oh, we live a similar, it's always hotel, hotel, hotel, hotel.

• 49:29Speaker 06

But also then you're going right from your hotel to a tube where you're locked in and-

• 49:32Andrew Santino?

  Right.

• 49:33Speaker 06

  Responsible for all these souls.

• 49:34Andrew Santino?

  So think about that. Yeah.

• 49:35Speaker 06

  I hadn't till now, yeah.

• 49:37Andrew Santino?

Well, that's, it just made me think, right, of course, they're a little stressed out. Beyond the stress of the job itself being difficult and challenging, you're sitting in a fucking hotel every night. And by the way, I, I may be wrong, but I almost remember- You know, if they do have a cocktail the night before their flight or whatever, it has to be such enough time that they would have to blow a double zero by the time they got on that plane. So a lot of these guys don't even get to have maybe a drink with dinner or whatever to just relax. They gotta eat food, go to bed, wake up for a fourth, you know, whatever, 5 a.m. Go. But I think how, I think about that as a comic, like, we're privileged, we sleep in these hotels, we can wake up whenever the fuck we want and then, you know, meander through the town. These guys gotta have a stressful foreign environment, then wake up, then go to another stressful foreign environment.

• 50:20Andrew Santino?

Uh, that's, I do get the anxiety of the job. Like, I finally get it. What is it? You said yes, right?

• 50:26Speaker 07

Yeah, minimum, uh, eight-hour bottle-to-throttle rule before flying, BAC limit of under .04%.

• 50:34Andrew Santino?

  Bottle-to-throttle.

• 50:35Speaker 07

And many airlines have even stricter policies, but that's just the regular FAA under .04% before flying.

• 50:41Andrew Santino?

Yeah, eight hours. So even if they're gonna have a cocktail, if they've got an early-

• 50:44Speaker 06

  Midnight to 8 a.m.

• 50:45Andrew Santino?

Yeah, nothing. Well, look, and most of the time, these guys probably gotta be up for, you know, 7 a.m. flight or some bullshit like that. Think about that, they're like, all I wanna do is have like a nice steak and a glass of wine. No, you gotta eat food, go to your room and sit there, twiddle your fucking thumbs, or your wife and kids are back in Omaha, and then you're, you know what I mean? I do understand the plight of those guys. That's why sometimes when you see them in the airport, you're like, this motherfucker looks sad.

• 51:06Speaker 06

You ain't flying them on, are you? You with America today?

• 51:09Andrew Santino?

  Alright, alright.

• 51:12Speaker 06

  Feel better, man?

• 51:12Andrew Santino?

You gonna Spokane? You not gonna Spokane? Alright, alright, my man.

• 51:20Speaker 06

  You just look sad, bro.

• 51:21Andrew Santino?

Brother, sometimes you'd see them and you're like, god damn.

• 51:23Speaker 06

That's the old Robin, uh, Harris joke. You remember Robin Harris, Baby's Kids? Oh, one of my faves. Oh, you don't, you don't remember Robin Harris?

• 51:29Andrew Santino?

  Robin Harris?

• 51:30Speaker 06

  The comedian Robin Harris.

• 51:32Andrew Santino?

  Did he die?

• 51:32Speaker 06

Yes, he did, unfortunately. He's one of, he's a legend, man. Sweet Dick Willie and Do the Right Thing and Pops from House Party.

• 51:39Andrew Santino?

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember this guy.

• 51:41Speaker 06

  He had a joke.

• 51:42Andrew Santino?

  I do remember him.

• 51:43Speaker 06

And he was great. His, his live album.

• 51:46Andrew Santino?

  Chicago Boy.

• 51:47Speaker 06

Yeah. His live album, he's in Harlem Nights, he's in a bunch of stuff. His live album is one of the ones I like to go back and listen to also because it's an album and he's drinking. And he is loose as shit by the end of that fucking thing. And he is talking shit about Compton. He's in L.A. and they're yelling at him and he doesn't give a fuck. But he's talking about how he's scared to death to fly and he said, you know, I went to therapist or whatever and they're like, hey, listen, man. You're gonna die when it's your time. And then he goes, what if we up there and it's the pilot's time? What the fuck do we do? I say, it's a great point.

• 52:24Andrew Santino?

  That's a great fucking point.

• 52:25Speaker 06

What do we do then if it's the pilot's time? He goes, uh, he goes, they want me to fly on an all-black airline. He said the pilot's walking around with a parachute on his back. He's like Jet magazine sliding around the front up there. I was like.

• 52:39Speaker 06

He's like, I don't want any black pilot.

• 52:43Andrew Santino?

Died young too. I just saw that. Thirty-six, thirty-six. Heart attack, thirty-six.

• 52:47Speaker 06

Yeah, I think he also had like narcolepsy or something. He had health issues.

• 52:51Andrew Santino?

  Narcolepsy. Thirty-six years old.

• 52:55Speaker 06

  That's a, that's a baby.

• 52:56Andrew Santino?

That's a child too. When you see the photos of him, you thought he was in his fifties.

• 52:59Speaker 06

And if you see the body of work he put together too quickly, uh, it's pretty impressive. And then the Bay Bay's kids too. If you guys don't know Robin Harris, I'm telling you right now, Bay Bay's kid, the album is phenomenal. And then I think after he died, they turned it into a cartoon and I think they might've had a soundalike guy doing his voice and stuff. But the whole thing about, do you know Bay Bay's kids?

• 53:21Andrew Santino?

  Uh-uh.

• 53:22Speaker 06

Bay Bay's kids is when you're dating a girl and she says, I'm paraphrasing this, of course. He's dating a girl and he's taking her and her kids to Disneyland and she shows up with like six other kids. And he's like, well, whose kids are these? And she's like, don't worry about it. These are Bay Bay's kids. And she gave him twenty dollars to get into Disneyland. He starts going off about how much it costs to get all these kids in Disneyland. And how these kids are horrible kids, how they fucked up Donald Duck, like they're just little terrors. And it, that bit in that stand-up special turned into this whole animated cartoon and everything.

• 54:01Andrew Santino?

  Called Bay Bay's Kids?

• 54:02Speaker 06

Called Bay Bay's Kids, yeah. And they're just bad little fucking kids.

• 54:05Andrew Santino?

  Right. That's genius.

• 54:07Speaker 07

It came out in ninety-two and he's voiced by Faison Love.

• 54:10Andrew Santino?

  Oh, Faison.

• 54:10Speaker 06

Did it, okay, there you go.

• 54:11Speaker 07

  His debut performance, acting performance.

• 54:13Andrew Santino?

  That was his first gig?

• 54:14Speaker 07

  In his acting debut.

• 54:15Andrew Santino?

  Holy shit.

• 54:16Speaker 06

Wow, I didn't know that, okay.

• 54:18Andrew Santino?

What was it on? What was it on?

• 54:19Speaker 07

It was released theatrically. It was a film.

• 54:22Andrew Santino?

  It was a movie?

• 54:22Speaker 06

  Oh, it was a movie?

• 54:23Speaker 07

  It's a film, yeah.

• 54:24Speaker 06

There's not an animated cartoon series as well? I could've swore I saw episodes of that thing, or maybe I'm just seeing that pop up.

• 54:32Speaker 07

Yeah, it appears to be the, or I may, maybe there was a television series that came out after, but the film appears to have released first.

• 54:38Andrew Santino?

Hello. Wild. Bay Bay's Kids, check out Bay Bay's Kids.

• 54:42Speaker 06

  Bay Bay's Kids.

• 54:43Andrew Santino?

More importantly, watch Ryan Sickler's special.

• 54:44Speaker 06

Yeah, watch my special live in the live.

• 54:46Andrew Santino?

Yeah, watch that first, don't go to Bay Bay's Kids first.

• 54:48Speaker 06

• 54:50Andrew Santino?

Yeah, that can wait. Uh, watch Ryan's special. Um, I love you, I appreciate you coming on the show.

• 54:54Speaker 06

Thank you, I love you and I appreciate you having me on, brother.

• 54:57Andrew Santino?

Uh, we end the show the same way. Look at that camera, say one word or one phrase, uh, to close out the episode. Whenever you're ready, one word or one phrase. Well, yeah, hold on, I got one last thing. Hong Kong Fui's cat is named Spot.

• 55:10Speaker 06

  Thank you, there you go.

• 55:11Andrew Santino?

Spot, Hong Kong Fui, it only took us an hour to get to that fucking thing.

• 55:14Speaker 06

  There you go.

• 55:15Andrew Santino?

That's my top, top researcher right there.

• 55:17Speaker 06

  Uh.

• 55:17Andrew Santino?

Slept in, was late, came in, nailed the spot.

• 55:20Speaker 06

  Just nailed it.

• 55:20Andrew Santino?

  Right on the nose.

• 55:21Speaker 06

I mean, should that be my final word, Spot? No.

• 55:24Andrew Santino?

  No, no.

• 55:25Speaker 06

Do it yourself. Do it yourself, do whatever makes you happy. Don't rely on anybody else. Do it yourself.

• 55:36Speaker 03

Sturdy, ginger. Like vampires, the ginger gene is a curse. Gingers are beautiful. You owe me five dollars for the whiskey, and seventy-five dollars for the horse.

• 55:53Speaker 04

Ginger's, oh, hell no. This whiskey is excellent. Ginger, I like gingers.

Kayak searches and compares hundreds of travel sites. But unless I repeat the word "Kayak," Kayak thinks you won't remember that. So Kayak asked me to say "Kayak" as many times as possible. Kayak! Kayak. Kayak. Kayak. Kayak, kayak, kayak. Kayak! Search and compare travel deals with Kayak. Got that right.
