Our Studio Pitches Cursed Tech Inventions!

This month we're trying something new! We had members of The Studio come in and try to pitch our craziest and most wild inventions to a panel of "Sharks" aka Marques, Andrew, and Ellis. It's a chaotic episode with even more chaotic inventions that we hope you'll find as entertaining as we did! Enjoy! What will you Canva today? What will you brainstorm, collaborate on, present today? What will you resize, post, edit, imagine? What will you research, test, switch? And finally have the courage to pitch? You got this. What will you visualize, design, brand, animate, create, generate? What will you translate, pour your heart into, or have a laugh doing? Whatever you want to make is possible. So what will you Canva today?

Support for the show comes from Jira by Atlassian. AI is only as useful as the context it has to work from. But when that context is scattered across tools, threads, and DMs, that means your team and your AI agents end up flying blind. That's the problem that Jira solves. What's the goal tied to your project? What got decided last week in Slack? Atlassian's teamwork graph pulls all these pieces together, from Jira, Confluence, Slack, GitHub, and more. So nothing falls through the cracks. With Jira, you can actually share that context with the AI agents you already use, like Claude, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot, assign them work directly, or connect your agents through MCP. Spend less time digging through endless links and DMs, less time chasing down what got decided and by who, and more time actually shipping. Learn more at jira.com.

• 1:15Speaker 01

  That's J-I-R-A dot com.

• 1:17Speaker 02

How was the low-light performance on the camera? Because with 50 megapixels, the photo sites are going to be really small.

• 1:22Speaker 01

I think it was 500 megapixels.

• 1:23Speaker 03

  500 megapixel main sensor.

• 1:24Andrew Manganelli?

  It's binning down to 50.

• 1:26Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:26Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:27Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:28Speaker 02

  No notes. No notes.

• 1:30Speaker 01

  Yeah. Okay.

• 1:32Speaker 02

You know, Alex, I love what you're putting down, but I think without a Philadelphia 76ers integration, I just don't think I could co-sign this.

• 1:41Speaker 03

That's okay. I was really just here for it.

• 1:43Speaker 02

That's, yeah. The headline, "Marques Brownlee Single-Handedly Resurrections LG Mobile", is, that's going to hit, man.

• 1:50Speaker 01

  That's what I'm thinking.

• 1:56Speaker 01

Yo, what is up, people of the internet? Welcome back to another episode of the Waveform Podcast. This is not your regularly scheduled programming. We'll be back to that on Friday. Today is Wednesday?

• 2:07Andrew Manganelli?

  Or Tuesday.

• 2:08Speaker 01

  Or Tuesday?

• 2:08Andrew Manganelli?

  Could be a couple things.

• 2:09Speaker 01

Could be any day. Don't check your watch. It is a Waveform Podcast, though. And yeah, this is a bonus episode. So we're your hosts for this episode. I'm Marques.

• 2:18Andrew Manganelli?

  I'm Andrew.

• 2:18Speaker 02

And I'm Ellis, at the big table.

• 2:20Speaker 01

  Yeah. So...

• 2:22Andrew Manganelli?

That's how you know this is gonna be a good episode?

• 2:24Speaker 01

  Oh, yeah.

• 2:24Andrew Manganelli?

No slight against David. I hope he doesn't take that as a slight. Okay, we're ready.

• 2:28Speaker 01

So do you guys watch Shark Tank at all?

• 2:30Andrew Manganelli?

  I do watch Shark Tank.

• 2:31Speaker 01

Okay. Ellis doesn't, Andrew does, I do. Are you familiar with the concept?

• 2:36Speaker 02

Vaguely. It's Mark Cuban and the other guy. And really passionate people come up and they say, "I have this idea and I need your help." And then they scheme and they go, "Hmm, how much of that can be mine?"

• 2:51Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah. It's almost like a symbolism for the American dream, but also fast-forwarded and cut up. And it's an entrepreneur with a business or a product or some idea that they're pitching to this investor and how they can collaborate to make it happen.

• 3:04Speaker 02

I believe one of my favorite products was a Shark Tank product.

• 3:08Andrew Manganelli?

  Scrub Daddy.

• 3:09Speaker 02

  Scrub Daddy.

• 3:10Speaker 01

Oh, that's one of your favorite products?

• 3:11Speaker 02

Well, it was. Now Scrub Daddy has been ruined by Unilever. Yeah, now it's just the same as any other sponge. But back in the heyday of scrubbing.

• 3:20Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 3:21Speaker 02

  It's king.

• 3:21Speaker 01

No, that's perfect. That is a quintessential Shark Tank success story. It's something that got brought to the masses. It was shown on TV. It got the investment. It got the collaboration. And the partnership was beautiful. Today, on Waveform, we're gonna be playing our own little version of Shark Tank.

• 3:37Speaker 02

  Ooh.

• 3:38Speaker 01

Now, we're not investing, per se, so we're kinda doing a little twist on the formula, if you want to explain it. But it is still kind of like Shark Tank for us.

• 3:45Andrew Manganelli?

Yeah, so last summer, Eric came up with this idea called Studio Pitches. And they were gonna have... It's four people that will be on today. Four of them made up a, I believe, tech products. Hopefully tech, most likely tech product to then pitch to a panel that was going to be on the studio channel. And we had, at that time, David Federspiel, our intern, create some, I haven't seen them yet, but it sounds like some really, really good mockups. This is not just a like idea and they pitch it to us. There are visual representations of these ideas. And this was a year ago, the video never got made. And we were like, wow, he spent a lot of time on that and they're really good. We should revive this. We needed a bonus episode for this month, so we are turning it into a podcast.

• 4:30Andrew Manganelli?

So the rules of today are going to be each person is going to come in, they're going to pitch us their product. Us three are going to be the shark investors, but since we don't have money and we're just going to then after pitch to them why we would be the correct partner for them.

• 4:47Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 4:48Andrew Manganelli?

So we will have to think of ideas on maybe how to market it, maybe where it could prevail. Like, we have to prove to them that we can make their item a success.

• 4:56Speaker 01

Yeah. So it's like upside down Shark Tank. The investor, or sorry, the entrepreneur, which is our guests, will come in with a product that they've made up. And then we have to figure out how to convince them that we're the right partner.

• 5:08Andrew Manganelli?

  Correct.

• 5:09Speaker 02

  Cool.

• 5:09Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 5:09Speaker 02

  I think I get it.

• 5:10Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 5:11Speaker 02

You know, I don't know a lot about investing, but if there's one thing I've learned from reading VC tweets on Twitter, it's that the key to being a good tech venture capitalist is feeling like you are the most important person in the world and what you do, investing, is the most Herculean and impossible task. So I think we should all just self aggrandize a little bit and get ready to change some lives.

• 5:34Andrew Manganelli?

Ellis is literally eating birthday cake at 11:00 AM this morning, which feels like the most like lord and peasant thing we could be doing. So he's in character.

• 5:42Speaker 02

  It's yellow cake.

• 5:43Speaker 01

I kind of want some. I'm gonna have some later. It looks really good. Is it good?

• 5:46Speaker 02

Um, you know, it's been sitting on a counter for a full day, so.

• 5:49Speaker 01

Oh, okay. I mean, that's not that bad.

• 5:52Speaker 02

No, I mean, it's birthday cake.

• 5:54Speaker 01

  All right.

• 5:55Andrew Manganelli?

All right. So we have four contestants coming in?

• 5:57Speaker 01

  Yeah, jump right in.

• 5:58Andrew Manganelli?

  Let's do it.

• 5:59Speaker 02

  Dope.

• 6:00Andrew Manganelli?

  Are you hearing all that?

• 6:07Speaker 02

Welcome to the Lions Den, Eric.

• 6:10Andrew Manganelli?

That's always funny because Eric can't hear the really intense music.

• 6:13Speaker 01

But you knew the Lions Den?

• 6:14Speaker 02

Oh, I was trying to make a joke. I was hoping someone would be like, no, it's not the Lions Den, it's the Shark Tank.

• 6:18Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 6:19Speaker 02

  There's all the Lions.

• 6:19Andrew Manganelli?

There's a Canadian version called Dragons.

• 6:21Speaker 01

Version of Shark Tank called the Dragons Den.

• 6:23Speaker 02

Oh, welcome to the Eel Pit, Eric.

• 6:27Speaker 05

That's really good. Hello, gentlemen. How are we?

• 6:30Andrew Manganelli?

  Great. We're good.

• 6:31Speaker 05

Are we feeling middle-class today by any chance?

• 6:34Speaker 02

  Never.

• 6:34Speaker 05

  Eric feeling?

• 6:35Andrew Manganelli?

  He's eating birthday cake.

• 6:36Speaker 05

  He's eating birthday cake.

• 6:37Speaker 02

Drinking out of a Cash App mug. If this isn't, if this isn't wealth, I don't know what is.

• 6:43Speaker 05

I do, Ellis. I do know what wealth is. You know what's cooler than one piece of birthday cake?

• 6:48Speaker 02

  Show me.

• 6:48Speaker 05

A billion pieces of birthday cake.

• 6:50Speaker 02

  I'm listening.

• 6:51Speaker 05

All right, let's go. It's tech bro time. All right, so I'd like to give a little behind the scenes. I'm Eric, I'm the, you know, I'm the, one of the producers on the studio channel. This was originally a concept for the studio channel that we were gonna do this time last year. We were pre-proing it. And so, before we dig in, we need to all take ourselves back to a simpler time. 2024.

• 7:15Speaker 02

Just for our audio listeners, you have, the first slide of your presentation says, Eric Saves Google.

• 7:21Speaker 05

Yeah. The next slide says, welcome to 2024. I need to just set the stage. We're all just gonna remember what it was like to be alive in 2024. Brat was topping the charts. Brain X, our video on the Brain X was universally loved with no critiques whatsoever.

• 7:37Speaker 02

  No hate.

• 7:38Speaker 05

Um, as was our coverage of the Tesla Cybertruck, Apple Vision Pro, Humane AI Pin, and Rabbit R1. And cultural phenomenas like the film challengers and the two guys doing the boom stuff, equally valuable. They dominated culture. Okay? The zeitgeist of the world is on this one slide. If you're an audio listener, you're not witnessing the beauty of the zeitgeist. There was something happening though. While, while the rest of the world was in party mode, Google was in panic mode. Google's AI efforts were uh were pretty bad last year. I think

• 8:13Speaker 02

  Wasn't great.

• 8:13Speaker 05

Last year's Google uh Google I O was like

• 8:16Andrew Manganelli?

  Boring.

• 8:17Speaker 05

Yeah, it was really, it was awkward.

• 8:19Speaker 02

  It was cringe.

• 8:20Speaker 05

  It was cringe.

• 8:21Speaker 02

  It was really cringe.

• 8:22Speaker 05

It was cringe, gentlemen. It was it was pretty weird. And while all of this was happening, there was great progress happening. OpenAI and Apple announced a partnership to integrate ChatGPT into Apple experiences. That was gonna come. That's that's coming in early twenty twenty twenty five because it's currently twenty twenty four. That's coming in early twenty twenty five. By January, Apple will clearly have an excellent AI suite. So so there's this existential risk to Google because Google pays billions of dollars to Apple to make sure that they're the default search engine on Apple phones. If Siri's integrated with OpenAI and the future of search is going to look more and more like an L L M, that is an existential risk. How is Google going to access some of the most valuable consumers in the world?

• 9:03Speaker 05

Google needs this to work. They need AI, their efforts in AI to work because if they don't, there's potential existential risk here, billions of dollars. And if we lose Google, who's to say that we don't lose the White House next?

• 9:20Andrew Manganelli?

  This is a fair point.

• 9:22Speaker 05

Oh, my God. So we need to reach the wealthy. We need to reach rich people. And if there's one thing I know about rich people, it's that they love Google products and they love AI hardware.

• 9:31Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 9:32Andrew Manganelli?

  Yeah.

• 9:33Speaker 02

  Right.

• 9:34Speaker 05

So, gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you

• 9:36Speaker 02

Oh, my God. What is this?

• 9:38Speaker 05

To the Gemini Home three D.

• 9:41Speaker 02

  Oh, no.

• 9:42Speaker 05

Uh, I think the the best place here right now is just for you guys to maybe is describe this to our audio listeners.

• 9:49Speaker 02

Yeah, so I'm seeing like an upside down jug. And it has the two of the eye emojis and the lip emoji in between them all in one straight line.

• 9:59Andrew Manganelli?

It's it's like the um, do you know the the fans you get that have LEDs on them? So when they spin, they can spell things out?

• 10:06Speaker 02

There's a center column. I think that's actually what's powering the display. Am I correct?

• 10:10Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 10:10Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 10:10Speaker 05

  Alice.

• 10:13Speaker 01

  What is this?

• 10:15Speaker 02

  Oh.

• 10:15Speaker 01

  It's a volumetric display!

• 10:18Speaker 02

It is in fact a volumetric, Jesus.

• 10:21Speaker 05

So, so, what Google can do here is they can integrate Gemini into the Google Home experience, completely revamp it, but add something that's visual. Almost like taking elements of the Pixel tablet experience, but making it way less practical and not portable at all. So, the way that this tech works is you have a fan in the center with different LEDs in it, and because it's spinning so quickly, it can create the illusion of depth and actually create a 3D image. When you pair that with Google's excellent potential for AI video generation and image generation, because they can train data off of videos like this without our consent, then you can actually have this really immersive, excellent experience that Google could uniquely compete on.

• 11:02Speaker 05

So, this strengthens, this strengthens the ecosystem for, especially Americans, who

• 11:07Speaker 02

  This is.

• 11:08Speaker 05

predominantly experience the, the AI hardware experience through the lens of Apple right now. It helps boost internal morale at Google, because who wouldn't want to make something like this? Like, everyone would be like, "We're so cool." You know, this is probably the most important thing that Google's ever launched since Google Hangouts. And then, it's just objectively amazing. So yeah, what are, what are our questions on the future of AI hardware?

• 11:31Speaker 01

This, this is good. This is really nice. I wonder, so it's gonna run Gemini, I assume, and move on from Google Assistant?

• 11:40Speaker 05

Yeah, I mean, until they name it something else.

• 11:42Speaker 01

Well, yeah, we, you know, there's Bard somewhere in there. Are there any plans to recover some of the functions of Google Assistant and move them into this Gemini box?

• 11:52Speaker 05

  There's definitely plans.

• 11:53Speaker 01

Okay, great. I love hearing that.

• 11:54Speaker 05

Yeah, there's, there's so many, there's plans everywhere.

• 11:56Andrew Manganelli?

What is the pixel density of the, uh?

• 11:59Speaker 05

The Pixel 9 Pro is, the Pixel 9 Pro integrates perfectly.

• 12:04Speaker 02

  What?

• 12:05Speaker 05

You could use the entire Pixel Suite.

• 12:07Speaker 02

Why would someone choose this box with eyes over a box without eyes?

• 12:13Speaker 05

Why would someone choose this box with eyes over a box without eyes?

• 12:16Speaker 02

  That's correct.

• 12:17Speaker 05

I think that's a great question. I think the key to understanding why people gravitate towards eyes is really to understand the humanity behind the technology.

• 12:26Speaker 02

  Which is?

• 12:28Speaker 05

I mean, look at the thing.

• 12:29Speaker 02

All right, follow up question. I see you have a distinct orange, two-tone orange and cream base with a sort of old school style speaker grill that sort of implies a design partnership with teenage engineering. Is this the case?

• 12:45Speaker 05

Yeah, we had an intern design this. He's fired.

• 12:50Speaker 02

  David did not get fired.

• 12:55Speaker 02

All right, all right. I'm still not quite understanding the value proposition, Eric. I understand smart home, LLM integration, fine and dand.

• 13:04Speaker 05

  Right.

• 13:05Speaker 02

But, you know, volumetric display, this thing's going to be expensive.

• 13:07Speaker 05

I don't understand how you're an investor and I'm saying AI and you're not on board. Throwing money at him. I can't help but feel like these gentlemen right here would be excellent partners who really want to win this deal. And if you're skeptical, I completely understand, but maybe you should go chat with the folks at SoftBank or maybe Adam Newman with WeWork. I heard Elizabeth Holmes is raising a new...

• 13:31Speaker 02

We here, we here at Spruce Capital, at B17Z, we only invest in the worst, most useless products, okay? And this seems like a perfect candidate. I just need you to explain to me a little further why this thing is so bad.

• 13:44Speaker 05

Yeah, I think that makes perfect sense. It's not bad. It's, this is, this has potential to fundamentally change the way that humans interact with technology.

• 13:51Speaker 02

  I'm listening. Say more.

• 13:52Speaker 05

  That I see.

• 13:53Speaker 02

  More buzzwords?

• 13:55Speaker 05

Yeah, they're inter- because they're interactive.

• 13:57Speaker 01

  Large language models, machine learning.

• 14:00Andrew Manganelli?

Yeah, what is, do we have a size of this? I need to be able to fit this into every single room inside of the average households?

• 14:07Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 14:08Andrew Manganelli?

And are there other color options?

• 14:10Speaker 05

Because, yeah, so absolutely very flexible in terms of the colorway. And the, the beauty of this is because it's a density of LEDs, the vast majority of the visuals are essentially entirely modular. All right, you can fundamentally change this, especially when you have generative AI. You can change this as much as you want. We can integrate cameras, scan your room, look at everything that's happening, and then perfectly make it blend, almost like a, like a chameleon in your home. So if you don't want to see it, it spins around, it just looks like the wall. But then you know what? You wanna, you wanna photo your family and boom, it's right there. It can, it can tell that your in-laws are coming in and you don't like them. It can have a little emergency button. It says beep, beep, beep, and you can run away. It can just see that.

• 14:51Speaker 02

So a, a big, a big, you know, pitch of Google's 2024 AI initiative was AI, LLMs and AI can take care of the one like super annoying thing no one wants to do.

• 15:02Speaker 05

  Taking care of your kids.

• 15:03Speaker 02

  Raise your children.

• 15:04Speaker 05

  Yep.

• 15:04Speaker 02

  Exactly.

• 15:04Speaker 05

  Yep.

• 15:05Speaker 02

You know, so LLMs can, can do their home, with their homework, they can teach them valuable life lessons. So as someone who has literally no interest in raising my children, what, where does this thing step in?

• 15:16Speaker 05

So children are inherently visual. There's actually a lot of studies that find that. There's, there's, there's a lot of studies that.

• 15:23Speaker 02

Right, because previously, if I wanted it to do, help my children with their homework, it would generate a podcast.

• 15:28Speaker 05

Right, it would talk to them.

• 15:29Speaker 02

  Thirty year olds like podcasts.

• 15:30Speaker 05

Exactly, exactly. There are no children listening to this right now.

• 15:33Speaker 02

  Never once.

• 15:34Speaker 05

  Nope.

• 15:35Speaker 02

I mean, maybe the child of a thirty year old, but.

• 15:38Speaker 05

  In a car somewhere.

• 15:39Speaker 02

  In a car somewhere.

• 15:40Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 15:40Speaker 02

  We're talking to you.

• 15:41Speaker 01

  Turn on Cocohellen.

• 15:44Speaker 02

Anyway, yeah, so, so visually, like the, this volumetric display will be able to.

• 15:49Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 15:50Speaker 02

Come up with a, a sprite perhaps?

• 15:52Speaker 05

Yeah, so children before the age of four can't distinguish the difference between fiction and reality. So you could actually use this to fundamentally alter a child's perception of reality.

• 16:01Speaker 02

  I'm listening.

• 16:02Speaker 05

  All right, Eric.

• 16:03Andrew Manganelli?

Can these be linked up to create stereo sound?

• 16:06Speaker 05

Oh, that is a fantastic question. I'm going to say yes despite never thinking about this.

• 16:12Speaker 01

It's, yeah, very Google answer there. Uh, no, I like that. I like, I think I, so I think I'd be the perfect partner for this. And I'll tell you why. Uh, I've been primed up to throw away all of my morals and partner with a tech company on something in a category I've already reviewed. So fresh off the heels of murdering other standalone AI devices, it would be a great opportunity for me to totally flip everything and shock everyone and partner up here and, and bring this to the masses.

• 16:42Speaker 05

I like the thing you said, I like the thing you said about morals. That was good.

• 16:46Speaker 01

Yeah, no, we don't want, we toss those out.

• 16:47Speaker 05

I like that. I like that. That's good. Yeah. Gentlemen, what are, what are your pitches?

• 16:52Speaker 01

  Do you have birds?

• 16:53Andrew Manganelli?

  I got birds.

• 16:56Andrew Manganelli?

I do, I do like the idea that playing anything over a screen, this could be a house plant to blind into my TV console.

• 17:05Speaker 05

Who wants to take care of a plant?

• 17:06Andrew Manganelli?

Exactly, exactly. Um, so it can fit in anything. I do, I, you know, the fact that Elijah's thought of the teenage engineering almost makes me think he might be the better partner because he's, teenage engineering immediately lets you put a 45% margin on top of this.

• 17:22Speaker 05

What game are you trying to play here? You're trying to make me go with Alice, which me, which makes me want you more.

• 17:29Andrew Manganelli?

That's what I was going for. Uh, yeah, I don't know if I'm the correct partner for this because I do plan on raising my ki, my children. And I think this could start. You know, I think it would be potentially harmful towards my other investments if I'm the kid who doesn't, if I'm the investor that doesn't care about their children. So for that, I'm out.

• 17:51Speaker 05

He's out. Okay. Well, let me tell you why.

• 17:53Andrew Manganelli?

I will be buying 10 of them.

• 17:56Speaker 02

Let me tell you why I'm the perfect partner, Eric, because I'm the only one that sees that the true value in this product is that it has literally no value whatsoever. And that's why we need to do the most tech VC input thing ever, which is we need to pivot. We need to pivot hard. We need to pivot fast. This thing is not a home assistant anymore. That jar, you put a drop of your blood in there and it'll tell you all the diseases you have.

• 18:20Speaker 05

  Healthcare, huge industry.

• 18:21Speaker 02

We're gonna run with that for like a year, pivot again, digital currency.

• 18:24Speaker 05

  Mmm.

• 18:26Speaker 02

Jar coin. Jar with eyes coin. So if you want to go on this wild ride, all you gotta do is sign a dotted line.

• 18:33Speaker 01

  So you've got two offers.

• 18:34Speaker 05

Right. We could stick with what we've got, right? We'd make waves in the press.

• 18:38Speaker 01

  For sure.

• 18:38Speaker 05

  The tweets would be crazy.

• 18:40Speaker 01

  They'd do crazy numbers.

• 18:41Speaker 05

  Yes, exactly.

• 18:43Speaker 01

  Picture the numbers.

• 18:43Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 18:44Speaker 01

  Crazy numbers.

• 18:45Speaker 05

  I mean, because...

• 18:47Andrew Manganelli?

All those numbers are only a one second view time on the video, but they are still numbers.

• 18:51Speaker 05

They are still numbers. If we just make the first frame a really good frame, it could be like...

• 18:56Speaker 01

This is, this thing is a content goldmine. Who knows more about content goldmines than me?

• 19:00Speaker 05

  It's true.

• 19:00Speaker 01

I could turn this thing into an ad, okay?

• 19:04Speaker 05

It's true. He loves being in advertisements.

• 19:07Speaker 01

As many households as possible, boom, flip the switch, it sells ads. It's every...

• 19:11Speaker 05

  Yes, exactly.

• 19:12Speaker 01

  This is a no brainer.

• 19:12Speaker 05

  Okay, all right, Marquez.

• 19:13Speaker 01

  Prince money.

• 19:14Speaker 05

I'm interested in going, it'd be really interesting if you did all of the ads. Like if there's a little AI Marquez and you pop up in people's homes and you're like, maybe you should, maybe you should buy underwear today.

• 19:27Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I would sell out. I would be the voice behind it. My voice and my eyes.

• 19:34Speaker 05

All of America just had giant Marquez eyes in between Marquez lips, just going, please buy.

• 19:42Speaker 01

Millions of people. Yeah, this is, this is for sure a match made in heaven.

• 19:45Speaker 05

I like, I definitely like the idea of going after healthcare and then pivoting to just becoming a currency and then, and then insolvent.

• 19:52Speaker 02

The, the blood testing thing, it worked so well for Elizabeth Holmes. Not only did she never face any repercussions whatsoever, but she's doing it again.

• 20:00Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 20:00Speaker 02

  You know?

• 20:01Speaker 05

Yeah. I think the question is, do I want to be a villain in America or do I want to be a villain and then flee America?

• 20:06Speaker 02

You're not thinking big enough. Do you want to be a villain in America or do you want to be a villain in prison?

• 20:11Speaker 05

Hmm. All right. I think I'm gonna be America's next big villain. Sharks. I'm going with Marquez.

• 20:19Speaker 01

  Pleasure doing business with you.

• 20:20Speaker 05

  Pleasure.

• 20:20Speaker 01

  Glad we missed this one.

• 20:21Speaker 05

  Pleasure.

• 20:24Andrew Manganelli?

  Thank you very much.

• 20:25Speaker 02

  Oh, wow.

• 20:26Andrew Manganelli?

That's a really good render. Dude, I hate to say I probably would actually buy this if this was just like a Google Home that I could like have stuff on top of it.

• 20:34Speaker 01

The left one, I see like a rabbit stacked on top of like a dock or something.

• 20:39Speaker 02

It does look like a rabbit with a jug.

• 20:41Speaker 01

But I'm sure it's bigger than the rabbit.

• 20:43Speaker 02

We have another genius innovative inventor coming soon. But first, we need a quick word from our investors, AKA the people who sponsor this podcast. So we'll be right back after this quick break.

• 23:11Speaker 01

All right, welcome back. Up next, Vin and his pitch.

• 23:19Speaker 05

  Hello, Sharks.

• 23:20Speaker 02

  Hello, Vin.

• 23:23Speaker 01

He's got something under a cloak here.

• 23:25Speaker 02

  Whoa, a physical prom.

• 23:26Andrew Manganelli?

Or is it the cloak? Oh, I thought it was the...

• 23:29Speaker 05

I think most people have a presentation, but I have for you today a physical prom.

• 23:33Andrew Manganelli?

  Oh.

• 23:34Speaker 05

Okay. Not just the prototype, it's final production.

• 23:37Speaker 01

  Oh. Final production, okay.

• 23:38Speaker 02

This is good, this is good.

• 23:40Speaker 01

And it's gold. It's under a gold cloak, I would say, of sorts.

• 23:43Speaker 02

  Fabulous.

• 23:44Speaker 01

  Yes. Welcome, welcome to the...

• 23:47Speaker 05

Wait, I can't hear you yet.

• 23:48Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 23:50Speaker 02

  Welcome to the eel pit.

• 23:51Speaker 01

My voice only goes in there. There you go. Welcome to the eel pit. Take it away. Tell us about your product, or your company.

• 23:59Speaker 05

Well, you know, we all have something important going on in our lives. Andrew, you have a kid.

• 24:05Andrew Manganelli?

  I do.

• 24:06Speaker 05

Marquez, you're an athlete. You play ultimate frisbee.

• 24:10Speaker 01

  This is a fact.

• 24:12Speaker 05

Adam, you collect a lot of cool watches.

• 24:14Andrew Manganelli?

He's not an investor, forget about him.

• 24:16Speaker 05

But I just wanted to include him. You gotta be nice. Thank you. Ellis, with the McVibes.

• 24:24Speaker 05

  With the weird camera brands.

• 24:26Speaker 02

  This is true.

• 24:27Speaker 05

You're a weird camera band guy.

• 24:28Speaker 02

  I'm a weird guy.

• 24:30Speaker 05

And so, I think we need to capture the moments around us. Sometimes people do it with photos. Well, how about video?

• 24:41Speaker 02

  Oh.

• 24:45Speaker 05

Maybe you're shooting something crazy like weddings, or F1 races, or even birds.

• 24:56Speaker 05

So, uh, Marquez, I'mma have you, uh, do the grand reveal.

• 24:59Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 25:00Speaker 02

  Perfect.

• 25:00Speaker 01

  I will do that.

• 25:01Andrew Manganelli?

I thought it was Astro Bot at first.

• 25:03Speaker 05

  I...

• 25:03Speaker 01

  It could be.

• 25:04Speaker 02

  It still could be.

• 25:06Speaker 05

  Introducing...

• 25:08Speaker 05

  The Ned Nonstro 8K.

• 25:12Speaker 01

  Nice, nice.

• 25:13Speaker 05

Um, I don't think you've seen that logo before. Like, it's, it's a new company.

• 25:18Speaker 01

  No, this is brand new.

• 25:19Speaker 05

You guys have heard of Nikon, this is, uh, Nikon.

• 25:21Andrew Manganelli?

  Nikon, yeah.

• 25:22Speaker 05

Yeah, Australians like to say it that way.

• 25:24Speaker 02

  This is Ned.

• 25:26Andrew Manganelli?

It's a beautiful cam... camera, I believe it is.

• 25:29Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 25:30Speaker 05

This is a, a video camera, but it's, the 8K is good enough that you can take stills from it.

• 25:36Speaker 02

  You mean Nate K.

• 25:38Speaker 05

Yes, perfect. You wanna be, you wanna be on the team? You're trying to be an investor?

• 25:41Speaker 02

I think I was made for this project, bro.

• 25:44Speaker 05

  I think I got one.

• 25:44Speaker 02

Oh my god, okay, so for audio listeners, uh, who can't see, we have a very carefully modified Red Monstro.

• 25:51Speaker 05

  No, no, no, no.

• 25:54Speaker 02

Excuse me. We have a totally stock, straight from factory Ned Nonstro, where a, uh, where you would normally find an R, it has been carefully replaced, excuse me, not replaced, created from scratch with an N in place.

• 26:07Speaker 05

  Correct.

• 26:07Speaker 02

Um, is that, uh, is that, is that white Sharpie? Is that, is that crayon?

• 26:13Speaker 05

  Silver Sharpie.

• 26:14Speaker 02

  Silver Sharpie, mm.

• 26:16Speaker 05

  It's a...

• 26:16Speaker 02

  Tasteful.

• 26:17Speaker 05

It's a familiar body style, but I don't think anyone has made something quite like this yet.

• 26:22Speaker 02

  Clearly not.

• 26:23Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah. No, no, I, I like this a lot, so I shoot a lot with, um, I forgot the name, this other camera that I use, uh, doesn't matter, but...

• 26:32Speaker 05

  Like blue or something?

• 26:33Speaker 01

Yeah, something, some color or whatever, but like, I'm, I'm very familiar with this world, and so I see a lot of, a lot of useful parallels here. Uh, what kinda, what kinda mounts on this?

• 26:42Speaker 05

Uh, it's actually a Z-mount, it's, um, based off of the research, it is the most used, um, lens mount that we have found.

• 26:49Speaker 01

  I like research.

• 26:50Speaker 05

It can come with a PDL-mount if you're an amateur.

• 26:53Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 26:53Speaker 05

  Right, right, right.

• 26:54Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah. No, I like that. Uh, material choices, I mean, this thing is rock solid, it looks like there's carbon fiber everywhere, there's metal. Carbon is my favorite, I think that's a, that's a really important distinction here. Uh, yeah, ooh, media-wise, SSDs, is that what's happening over here?

• 27:09Speaker 05

  Yeah, they, uh, use magazines.

• 27:12Speaker 01

  Ned magazines.

• 27:13Speaker 05

  Magazines.

• 27:14Speaker 01

Nice. Yeah, I'm liking what I'm seeing.

• 27:16Speaker 02

So if right off the bat, I gotta ask, you know, with traditional box style cameras like this, like birds out of the question, never gonna happen. As soon as a bird sees that camera, it's running for the hills.

• 27:27Speaker 05

No, it it it thinks it's a bird house.

• 27:29Speaker 02

It thinks it's a bird. Yeah, exactly.

• 27:30Speaker 05

It's meant to blend in with the environment.

• 27:32Speaker 02

So, but I I gotta ask, what's up with autofocus on this bad boy? Because that is essential to shooting birds.

• 27:41Speaker 05

  It has Z mount.

• 27:43Andrew Manganelli?

  The noto.

• 27:44Speaker 02

  Noto focus, noto focus.

• 27:45Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 27:47Andrew Manganelli?

  That's what it has.

• 27:49Speaker 02

I think it has the not part pretty down, pretty good.

• 27:52Speaker 01

  Hmm, noto focus, yeah.

• 27:53Speaker 02

I think that satisfies your your question.

• 27:55Andrew Manganelli?

I have a couple of questions. In the competitor scene, a lot of things that plagues that scene are slow boot up times, bad, not faulty ports, but poor working ports, HDMI, you know, for external monitors, not good. The range of accessories are very expensive. Is this doing anything to solve those issues?

• 28:16Speaker 05

Uh, actually, it's a feature, because, you know, if you pick up a camera and it doesn't work, it's basically like an anti-theft system built into itself.

• 28:28Andrew Manganelli?

That it probably also could be an anti-theft system in the fact of it is the weapon to prevent the theft

• 28:33Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 28:34Andrew Manganelli?

  of itself.

• 28:35Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 28:35Speaker 01

  Yeah, easily convertible.

• 28:37Speaker 05

You'll get some really good looks at TSA.

• 28:40Speaker 02

So, uh, pricing wise, what are we looking at? How does it fit in with its competitors?

• 28:45Speaker 05

You know, pricing is based off of a subscription model, actually.

• 28:52Speaker 02

  Fascinating.

• 28:54Speaker 05

We went with the Adobe approach.

• 28:56Speaker 02

Genius. This is going to be such a profitable product. I really think you've set yourself up for success, Ben.

• 29:03Speaker 01

It's got the, it's got the, uh, there's branding everywhere.

• 29:05Andrew Manganelli?

  There really is branding everywhere.

• 29:07Speaker 01

Every time I look at it, I find new branding opportunities and I I feel like they're fully capitalized on.

• 29:12Speaker 05

You could check the bottom, too.

• 29:14Speaker 01

  Let's check the bottom.

• 29:15Andrew Manganelli?

  Yeah. Oh, yes.

• 29:16Speaker 01

  Ned Digital Cinema.

• 29:17Speaker 05

  Correct.

• 29:18Speaker 01

So rings just rolls right off the tongue. I like it.

• 29:24Andrew Manganelli?

I'd like to step in as my first pitch for why I should be your partner for this. I think every, I mean, everything is covered here. This is a tried and true model. All we really, I mean, like the easiest way forward here, even though one of my partner, not partner, competitor investors is big in the YouTube scene and has made cameras like this popular. We don't need him anymore. It's, it's very obvious to get to the influencer market. We just need some, some good strategy for that. What we, the way I think we could really make some money here is there's one thing that is not on brand and that is the V-mount. We need to create N-mount.

• 30:01Speaker 02

  I think you're right.

• 30:02Andrew Manganelli?

  I think.

• 30:03Speaker 02

  A proprietary.

• 30:04Andrew Manganelli?

A proprietary N-mount battery with half the size, twice the price. And it's pretty hard to not shoot for the moon at that point.

• 30:13Speaker 02

  I like.

• 30:14Andrew Manganelli?

So that, that is my pitch to you. I think it is a great idea. Maybe they'll have some.

• 30:19Speaker 02

  An N-mount.

• 30:19Andrew Manganelli?

  Good ideas.

• 30:20Speaker 02

  An N-mount with like.

• 30:20Speaker 05

  I think I might consider.

• 30:21Speaker 02

60 millimeter flange distance that you can't use any lens, even if with an adapter, it's out of the question.

• 30:27Speaker 05

Flange is a good word. Yes, we like that.

• 30:29Speaker 02

  So.

• 30:30Andrew Manganelli?

I meant for the battery, not for the lens, but we could also.

• 30:32Speaker 05

We could flange anything you want.

• 30:34Speaker 02

Yeah, the battery has a flange distance. The cards have a flange distance. Picture that. An SD card, that's, that's like 60, 60 inches long.

• 30:41Speaker 05

  Yes.

• 30:42Speaker 02

All right, but let me tell you why I'm the man for the job here. Okay? When people think Ellis Rovin, they think nonsense. I'm known for my nonsense, but I'm also, I'm not known for my other amazing qualities like lollygagging, faffing about, tomfoolery.

• 30:59Speaker 05

  Those are big words.

• 31:00Speaker 02

All of which I think are qualities in this camera. I think I embody everything this camera is about, which is being totally worthless and very silly. So.

• 31:09Speaker 05

I think you might be right.

• 31:10Speaker 02

It's a no-brainer having me on this project because the innate qualities that make me me will be able to communicate to the consumer what this whole thing is about. In fact, I think.

• 31:22Speaker 02

I already am Nellis. I think I ceased being Ellis years ago.

• 31:26Speaker 05

You're gonna change your government name?

• 31:27Speaker 02

Quite some time. I would to take this on.

• 31:30Speaker 01

See, that's where I stepped in. Cause I think I would be the perfect partner here because the branding opportunity is so obvious. When you turn around this camera and you see N E D, everyone is gonna remember that, especially the N. And I think I've been associated with an acronym for so long that it presents a beautiful rebranding opportunity. N K B H D.

• 31:53Speaker 05

  Ah, you're Narkes.

• 31:55Speaker 01

And from that moment on, I will be intertwined, associated permanently with this brand and this camera. And I can push it to the masses, I promise you.

• 32:03Speaker 02

It's true. And it's, you know, you haven't been permanently associated with a camera brand yet. Like this is the opportunity.

• 32:09Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 32:10Speaker 02

I don't know if I can compete with that.

• 32:11Speaker 05

  Yeah, Canon could never.

• 32:13Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 32:14Speaker 05

I don't think so. Nannan doesn't roll off the tongue.

• 32:16Speaker 01

Doesn't work. Doesn't work. But this is the rebrand that it deserves.

• 32:19Andrew Manganelli?

Does it work in Final Cut?

• 32:22Speaker 05

  Proprietary software.

• 32:25Speaker 01

  Crashy, hopefully?

• 32:28Speaker 05

  Only on Wednesdays.

• 32:30Speaker 01

Nice. Yeah, I'm in. I mean, I'm used to that. That's perfect.

• 32:33Speaker 05

  It's a timed crash.

• 32:34Speaker 02

  It's a timed.

• 32:36Speaker 01

  Right. Taking account.

• 32:37Speaker 05

Yeah, we all need rest. Everyone has a sleep schedule and I think cameras could also have a sleep schedule.

• 32:44Speaker 01

I'm really into that. You know, people always say electric cars, they don't have enough range, but the human body can only go so far driving before it needs to pull over. And I think that's also true about editing. I should have a timed out crash every 12 to 45 seconds. And that's the type of thing that sort of eliminates fatigue, keeps you refreshed, you jump back in, Final Cut starts again.

• 33:06Speaker 05

  Good work-life balance, right?

• 33:07Speaker 01

  It's good. It's good.

• 33:07Andrew Manganelli?

Repetition is the fastest way to expertise. And if you have to redo the last 10 cuts before auto saved over and over and over again, you're gonna be an expert in no time.

• 33:16Speaker 02

Yeah, you've really like hit the nail on the head, Vin. Like there is this problem in the camera landscape.

• 33:23Speaker 05

  Birdson photography specifically, I think.

• 33:25Speaker 02

Well, I think there's just a problem with the camera landscape in general, where they're all too good. Like, and consumers are asking, they're like, I want a bad camera that doesn't work.

• 33:35Speaker 05

  Dumb things down.

• 33:35Speaker 02

Where is that bad camera that doesn't work? And here you are, about to bring it to market. No notes.

• 33:44Speaker 01

So you've got three offers on the table then. Which which direction would you like to go?

• 33:49Speaker 05

Can I phone in a friend? Why not? Adam, Adam, chat, what do we do?

• 33:55Speaker 05

Can I take like a little bit of all three? Is that is that a legal move?

• 33:58Speaker 01

  That's happened on Shark Tank.

• 33:59Andrew Manganelli?

  We're all partnering together.

• 34:01Speaker 01

To pick more than one partner.

• 34:04Speaker 05

  What?

• 34:05Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 34:08Speaker 05

  Like some polygamist type?

• 34:11Speaker 01

You can just, you can combine them all if you think if you think we'd work together well, that would be up to you.

• 34:16Speaker 05

America the Beautiful. You know what? I'm taking all three. Perfect.

• 34:21Speaker 01

  Three offers accepted.

• 34:23Speaker 05

  Yeah.

• 34:23Speaker 01

Boom. This is the first on Shark.

• 34:25Andrew Manganelli?

We all agree Ned 2 is just a smaller box that uses AI to create all of the video.

• 34:30Speaker 05

  Yeah, absolutely.

• 34:31Andrew Manganelli?

  Right?

• 34:31Speaker 01

  For sure.

• 34:31Andrew Manganelli?

  Okay.

• 34:32Speaker 05

AI integration is a very good. Yeah.

• 34:35Andrew Manganelli?

  I think we're we're.

• 34:36Speaker 05

  Great. Good market.

• 34:37Speaker 01

We are. We are positioned for the future, gentlemen. It's been a pleasure.

• 34:40Andrew Manganelli?

  Thank you, partner.

• 34:41Speaker 05

  Thank you.

• 34:42Speaker 01

We're gonna make so much money off of this.

• 34:44Speaker 05

I'll see you. You know, we're far away, but.

• 34:46Andrew Manganelli?

It does. The deal doesn't count unless you shake hands.

• 34:49Speaker 05

  Oh, yeah, you're not.

• 34:50Andrew Manganelli?

  You obviously haven't watched Shark.

• 34:51Speaker 05

  You have to.

• 34:52Speaker 01

Yeah, this is a big part of securing securing the bag.

• 34:55Speaker 02

  Anime sword sound right here.

• 34:59Speaker 01

And that makes it official. Three for three. Incredible. All right. Thank you very much.

• 35:04Andrew Manganelli?

  Thank you very much.

• 35:04Speaker 01

We will move on for our next contestant.

• 35:09Andrew Manganelli?

  Please never take that table.

• 35:10Speaker 01

  All right, next up, Alex.

• 35:17Speaker 05

  Oh.

• 35:18Andrew Manganelli?

  This is an.

• 35:20Speaker 01

  It's intense music.

• 35:21Speaker 02

I've never seen Shark Tank, so this is what I just I like listened to a few seconds of the music and was like, this is kind of it.

• 35:27Andrew Manganelli?

It's not as intense. This feels more Dragon's Den-y, even though I've never seen Dragon's Den, but just calling Dragon's Den.

• 35:34Speaker 01

For sure. Alex, welcome to the tank.

• 35:37Speaker 02

  The eel pit.

• 35:38Speaker 03

  The eel.

• 35:39Speaker 01

  We appreciate.

• 35:40Speaker 03

  It's electric in here.

• 35:41Speaker 02

  Hey!

• 35:42Andrew Manganelli?

  I'm in.

• 35:44Speaker 01

  I'm in.

• 35:44Andrew Manganelli?

  I'm all in.

• 35:46Speaker 02

  100% of business, please.

• 35:49Speaker 01

All right, walk us through it. What are you presenting to us today?

• 35:52Speaker 03

All right, so let me pull up a little presentation here.

• 35:55Speaker 02

  Perfect.

• 35:56Speaker 03

In a world where companies keep trying to make our phones minimal.

• 36:01Speaker 02

Are you saying this because I literally have the minimal phone?

• 36:04Speaker 03

No, this has been in the works for well before you decided to make a video about it. But we've seen the light phone. Light, who wants that? The bux Palma.

• 36:16Speaker 02

  Hey, that's goaded.

• 36:18Speaker 03

  You're gonna hate this.

• 36:19Speaker 02

  Oh, no?

• 36:21Speaker 03

I don't need your money, pal.

• 36:22Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 36:24Speaker 03

  The palm phone.

• 36:25Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 36:26Speaker 02

  Less goaded.

• 36:26Speaker 03

  Right? And whatever that is.

• 36:29Speaker 02

The punked? I've never even heard of that.

• 36:31Speaker 03

I hadn't either. I had to find a fourth phone, though.

• 36:34Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 36:37Speaker 03

Companies have been trying to make our lives more minimal. And that's when, well, you know what? Let me show you guys a little something first. I think we need to go the other direction.

• 36:47Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 36:48Speaker 03

We need to start maximizing our content consumption.

• 36:51Speaker 01

  I'm with you.

• 36:52Speaker 03

And many places have tried and failed. We had the Red Hydrogen One. Could have been the best consumption device ever. It had 3D or something.

• 37:02Speaker 01

I have fond memories of that.

• 37:03Speaker 03

Yeah, great, great device. We had the Surface Duo.

• 37:07Speaker 01

  Another class.

• 37:08Speaker 03

  Two whole screens.

• 37:09Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 37:10Speaker 03

  But didn't quite nail it.

• 37:12Speaker 01

  Not quite.

• 37:13Speaker 03

We've got the Huawei, what is this, the Mate XT?

• 37:17Speaker 01

  That is, the triple.

• 37:18Speaker 03

Triple folding phone. We're getting closer. We're getting warmer.

• 37:21Speaker 01

  Uh-huh.

• 37:22Speaker 03

Okay, but we're not quite there.

• 37:23Speaker 01

  I see a trend here.

• 37:25Speaker 03

And then, of course, the most beautiful baby.

• 37:28Speaker 01

  Oh, wow.

• 37:29Speaker 03

  The LG Wing.

• 37:30Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 37:31Speaker 03

For maximizing consumption, but still not quite there. But that, it is funny that I should bring that up because

• 37:39Speaker 03

a long-lost hero is ready to emerge from the depths, from their premature death, and that is...

• 37:47Speaker 05

  Fire, there's a

• 37:50Speaker 03

We're back and better than ever. I am a top secret operative sent here by LG to pitch you on the latest in phone technology because LG is ready to make their return after far too long on the sidelines. Five, five years by my count. Oh, yeah. This is 2024 AI. This has been sitting around for a year.

• 38:11Speaker 02

  Good.

• 38:12Speaker 03

All right. So without further ado, I would like to introduce after three very long periods after the introducing the LG maximalist phone.

• 38:25Speaker 02

  Whoa.

• 38:26Speaker 03

It's time to, it's time to stop minimizing and start maxing.

• 38:32Speaker 02

It has a dynamic island on the back of the phone.

• 38:36Speaker 01

Or it has cameras on the front of.

• 38:41Speaker 03

It might have both. Let's wait and see. Ready? Let's talk about it.

• 38:45Speaker 02

So tell me about this maximalist phone.

• 38:47Speaker 03

So what are phones? Well, we gotta, we gotta get existential first. What are phones in 2025? An iPod, a phone, an internet communicator? No, they're not.

• 38:59Speaker 03

  Not anymore.

• 38:59Speaker 02

  Then what are they?

• 39:02Speaker 03

  Phones are literally everything.

• 39:04Speaker 02

  Oh, that's true.

• 39:06Speaker 03

They're our way of communicating with the world.

• 39:08Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 39:10Speaker 03

They're how we do our jobs.

• 39:12Speaker 02

  Often true.

• 39:14Speaker 03

They're our camera to take and preserve beautiful memories.

• 39:17Speaker 02

  Actual.

• 39:18Speaker 03

They're the place where we go to leave mean comments on YouTube videos, often while pooping.

• 39:24Speaker 02

  Several times today.

• 39:26Speaker 03

They're our brains. They're our creativity.

• 39:29Speaker 02

  Oh, my God.

• 39:30Speaker 01

  Chat GPT app.

• 39:33Speaker 03

  They're our best friends.

• 39:35Speaker 02

This is a joke, but like, we get emails that.

• 39:39Speaker 01

  It's not that far off.

• 39:40Speaker 02

  Phone companies like.

• 39:41Speaker 03

Maybe it was for me. You don't know. I might be consulting. They're also our lovers sometimes. Anyway. But as a society, we're too far gone to remove ourselves from our phones. Without our phones, we would literally die.

• 40:04Speaker 03

So what we need to do is get more involved in our phones. We don't need less. We need the LG maximalist phone. So I'm going to tell you all about.

• 40:15Speaker 02

Yeah, please tell me what makes this so maximal.

• 40:17Speaker 03

So we're building here at LG on a history of adequacy and engineering.

• 40:23Andrew Manganelli?

I just want our audio listeners to know the pauses in this is because every piece of text blurs into the presentation. And Alex did this a year ago.

• 40:33Speaker 03

Let me remind you of such great and adequate phones is the LG double play from 2011.

• 40:39Andrew Manganelli?

  That's real.

• 40:40Speaker 03

  That's a real phone.

• 40:41Andrew Manganelli?

That's incredible. Wait, this is a phone with a split keyboard, a slide up and an extra app screen in the middle of the split keyboard.

• 40:49Speaker 03

Before Android, I think. Oh, that is Android. That one is Android. Yeah.

• 40:53Speaker 02

It's like Android three or four.

• 40:55Speaker 03

But what about also the LG G8X Thing Q from 2019? What a beautiful feat of engineering that was. And then of course, in Mark has his hands right now, the LG Wing from 2020.

• 41:07Andrew Manganelli?

We need to do a revisit LG video. Sorry.

• 41:10Speaker 03

We did already do that. Check out the studio channel, smart dead smartphone tier list video. Thank you. All right. Next. Oh, we, which is where MKBHD gave that phone a C tier. Big, big time for the aftermarket sales of LG wings. So what is a maximalist phone? So it's everything you've ever dreamed of doing on your phone in one place.

• 41:32Speaker 02

  Gambling?

• 41:33Speaker 03

Yes, of course. It's the only device you'll ever need. It's your all in one entertainment solution. It is the most productive device ever. Your all knowing AI friend and the maximalist phone guarantees that you will never have more fun spending entire days glued to your phone screen. As we all should be. Thank you, production. So this is the LG Maximalist phone.

• 41:56Speaker 02

  Ooh, round corners.

• 41:57Speaker 03

It's got a 6.9 inch display, very nice.

• 42:00Speaker 02

  Nice.

• 42:00Speaker 03

It's got the Snapdragon 10 Elite. We jumped two whole dragons for this phone, just for you guys. 2 TB of RAM, 10 TB of onboard storage, a 500-megapixel main cam, 40-megapixel telephoto, 100-megapixel periscope telephoto, take that Samsung, and a 25-megapixel selfie cam, all powered by a 3,250mAh enormous battery. But that's just a rectangle. It's just a rectangular phone. For those listening, not watching, it just looks like a phone. It's pretty boring. There's gotta be more to this, right? That's where you fold this baby out. And in partnership with TikTok. Oh, my God.

• 42:42Speaker 03

You can now have TikTok running on your left-hand screen and keep being productive on your right-hand screen. Because if you've ever worried that you can't content-max while you're oversharing your entire life to your 347 TikTok followers, you don't have to worry about that anymore. You can live.

• 43:01Speaker 02

Okay, I have a quick question.

• 43:02Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 43:02Speaker 02

Assuming I literally could not care about being productive whatsoever.

• 43:06Speaker 03

  Sure.

• 43:06Speaker 02

Could I just have two TikTok separate feeds on each screen and like sort of scroll them separately with my two thumbs?

• 43:13Speaker 03

You could have two TikToks. You know, I'm not legally allowed to say this, thanks for our contract, but you could even have YouTube Shorts on one and TikTok on the other.

• 43:21Speaker 02

  Right.

• 43:22Speaker 03

Or perhaps Instagram, but maybe we'll get to that in a little bit.

• 43:24Speaker 02

  Interesting, interesting, interesting.

• 43:26Speaker 03

But what about your many successful businesses? If you do want to be productive, there needs to be more room for productivity, because you might want to.

• 43:33Andrew Manganelli?

I was gonna say, you're stopping at two screens?

• 43:35Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 43:35Andrew Manganelli?

You have no faith in this presentation.

• 43:37Speaker 03

You don't, you don't. Because that's where our next feature comes in. In partnership with Microsoft 365, we've added our third screen, which gives you everything you need. Word processing, calendars, emails, presentation software. You can have a very mid-adequate version of all of them in one with the Microsoft 365 Suite, our exclusive partner for productivity on the LG Maximalist phone. So you could be TikToking, you can be texting, and you can be emailing.

• 44:08Speaker 02

  You can be Teams-ing.

• 44:08Speaker 03

You could be... Let me tell you. We're excited to announce, Ellis. Oh, no. That.

• 44:21Speaker 03

Microsoft Teams is the official messaging partner of LG Maximalist phone.

• 44:27Speaker 02

You're really, you're really pushing the adequateness of this.

• 44:30Speaker 03

This is gonna be the most adequate giant phone you've ever had in your life.

• 44:34Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 44:34Speaker 03

Let me tell you. So, Microsoft Teams, we want you to be part of our team. And that's why we've made Teams the official messaging partner of the LG Maximalist phone. But it's not quite enough yet because we have an homage to our sweet baby, the LG Wing. You fold out that fourth screen on the bottom. For those of you listening and not watching, we now have three screens. One, two, three, with a fourth one that folds out from the bottom in the center.

• 45:02Andrew Manganelli?

Does it fold out or swing out?

• 45:04Speaker 03

Something like that. We're figuring it out. That's a great question. I'm glad you asked it. Anyway. So you fold out the fourth screen and suddenly you're in LG Wing mode. If you just like, you've ever looked at your phone and you're like, man, I wish I could be watching a full screen video up top here while I'm texting and being productive on the bottom. Well, here you go. You don't have to worry about that anymore with LG Wing mode on the LG Maximalist phone. But typing on a screen, it's very passe. It's, it's very 2010s of us to be typing on a screen. So that's why we have a best in class exclusive collaboration with BlackBerry with a nice little slide out keyboard from that bottom screen.

• 45:47Speaker 03

Now you can tap out messages to your heart's content on those sweet little chiclets. Get all those emails, important texts, everything out, mean YouTube comments.

• 45:56Andrew Manganelli?

The center of gravity on this thing is wild by the time.

• 45:59Speaker 03

  It's amazing.

• 46:01Speaker 02

For audio listeners, just to keep you up to date, we have three, a row of three screens on top. And then one center screen on a bottom row that sort of forms a Thor's hammer type shape. And then below that bottom screen is a BlackBerry style keyboard.

• 46:15Speaker 03

  Exactly.

• 46:15Andrew Manganelli?

So if at that point you're typing on the BlackBerry keyboard, you have two thumbs and all of your weight on the bottom, maybe 5% of this phone.

• 46:24Speaker 02

Does it come with like a neck strap that you can like attach to like the top?

• 46:27Speaker 03

Have faith. It's actually weighted quite well. Once you see what else we have in store here. It's remarkably balanced. Uh, let's, let's move on because you're still not maximizing your consumption just yet. And that is where. Our collaboration with Instagram comes in two more foldable screens on the bottom, giving you a whopping six total screens of real estate so that you can view Instagram the way that it's meant to be viewed in Instagram mode. It's the latest and greatest way to rot your brain with endless hours of doom scrolling. You get it just the way Zuck intended, nice square form factor, minimal oversight, maximum ability to get yourself addicted to and or buy things, and it's on the biggest screen you possibly can for Instagram right now.

• 47:10Speaker 01

  Sounds like a moneymaker.

• 47:11Speaker 03

It is, absolutely, that's very important, very important. This is Shark Tank after, or the eel, the eel farm, or whatever.

• 47:18Speaker 01

Eel pit. Just go with that.

• 47:20Speaker 03

All right. But that's still not all, because what about more important things like gaming and movies? Well, the LG Maximal's phone has everything you could ever want in a phone, that's right.

• 47:31Speaker 02

  We're at 10 screens now?

• 47:35Speaker 03

  We have 10.

• 47:37Speaker 02

Is that a Bitcoin ticker on the top?

• 47:40Speaker 03

That is the official crypto.com stonk tracker up top. So whenever you're doing anything, you can always know that you can check your stonks.

• 47:49Speaker 02

  Is that a Stadia controller?

• 47:51Speaker 03

Shh, hold on, just a moment. I did forget to put a piece of text on the side here and the producer forgot to bring in my updated presentation that I sent him. But this totals out to now a 20-inch screen to watch critically acclaimed movies like The Wild Robot. Great for all audiences. Anyone who says otherwise, you deserve to get hated on the internet. Next.

• 48:15Speaker 02

He's not even here to defend himself.

• 48:16Speaker 03

The Fuji film X100 LIV pop-up selfie camera. I don't know what those, I don't know what those letters mean. They didn't tell me what number that is, so we're just gonna call it the LIV. Actually, no, they're gonna randomly change how this is read now. It's now the X100 Live pop-up selfie camera. We made this specially with them to make sure that you have the best pop-up selfie camera, just in case the stock 25-megapixel sensor is not quite enough. And then, of course, if you want a content max, you need... Brain Audio, ear murdering surround sound, which pops out from four parts of the screen on both sides, ear murdering surround sound to take care of all you there. Then we got the Stadia

• 49:00Speaker 03

controller redesigned. The last one was a little too modern looking. We've, we've used the Xbox, the Duke controller as our inspiration for this, perhaps the most-

• 49:11Andrew Manganelli?

Is it, that looks like the Discord logo in 3D.

• 49:13Speaker 03

It kinda does. Maybe it's a Discord controller.

• 49:16Andrew Manganelli?

I think that's just the Discord logo if they made it into an actual controller.

• 49:20Speaker 03

Call it that. Actually, we're selling the rights to Discord as we speak. Thank you for, thank you for bringing that up. Stadia, you're gone. Discord, you're in. And finally, you might be wondering what those things are at the bottom. Any guesses?

• 49:31Speaker 01

One looks like a Opal webcam.

• 49:34Speaker 02

Kinda looks like those like scent, that scent box that we had here.

• 49:39Speaker 03

Alice, you're thinking correctly. This comes with 4DX immersive viewing built into your phone. You never thought you'd be able to smell the wild robot, but that oil smell is gonna be coming right in your nose as you're watching. It's gonna feel great. So, this is it. We're good. And the best part is it's infinitely pocketable, weighing in at just four inches thick. This, this phone-

• 50:05Andrew Manganelli?

  Like a block of cheese.

• 50:07Speaker 03

This phone is the most pocketable phone you could ever hope to experience in your entire life. Without further ado, this is the LG Maximalist phone.

• 50:17Speaker 01

  This is incredible.

• 50:18Speaker 02

I just wanna make sure you partnered with-

• 50:20Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 50:21Speaker 02

  Brain, Fujifilm, Crypto.com, Google Stadia.

• 50:25Speaker 03

Maybe Discord, we haven't decided yet.

• 50:26Speaker 02

  Maybe, maybe Discord.

• 50:28Speaker 03

  Maybe both.

• 50:28Speaker 02

  Teams, Instagram, TikTok.

• 50:31Speaker 01

  Was it a camera one?

• 50:32Andrew Manganelli?

  Fujifilm.

• 50:34Speaker 02

I think, I think that was it. But see, we have, we have set eight brand partnerships going on.

• 50:39Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 50:39Andrew Manganelli?

Is there even room for us at this point?

• 50:41Speaker 02

  Yeah. Yeah.

• 50:42Speaker 01

This was my concern, actually. I was hoping I would get a camera partnership and a speaker partnership, and we did get that. But each one of those deals actually takes a little bit off of your bottom line. So I'm curious how your margins are gonna work out, giving a few percent to each of these partners.

• 50:56Speaker 03

  Whoops.

• 50:57Speaker 02

That's a great question, and I'm glad you asked it.

• 51:00Speaker 01

  Yeah. Incredible. Moving on.

• 51:02Speaker 03

Alright, so does anyone else have any questions?

• 51:04Speaker 02

  Does it have NFC?

• 51:06Speaker 03

  Yes, of course.

• 51:07Speaker 01

  Of course.

• 51:09Speaker 02

Well, look, see, I feel like I'm an interesting candidate because as you know, some people might know, I'm sort of a minimalist phone guy. Again, once again, I literally, I'm literally being tortured by the minimal phone right now as we speak. So as someone who is afraid of brain rot and maybe needs a little bit of convincing that I should be rotting my brain more. What would you say to a consumer like that? How would you convince them to, uh, to melt, melt their brain with Zuck's poison?

• 51:36Speaker 03

Think about all the happiest moments in your life. They're all probably on Instagram, obviously, right?

• 51:42Speaker 02

Fair. Good point. Yeah. In fact, I don't think I've ever been happy when not on Instagram.

• 51:46Speaker 03

I mean, when are you happy when you're not consuming content?

• 51:49Speaker 02

  It's true. It's so true.

• 51:51Speaker 03

Why would you go hike in the woods when you could see it in brilliant HDR right in front of you?

• 51:55Speaker 02

You know, it's funny, when I'm at the movie theater, sometimes I watch the whole movie through, through my phone's camera, just so I can put it in a vertical aspect ratio.

• 52:03Speaker 03

And then you can like pause it at various times, get minute and a half consumable bits of the movie. I think that's really the better way to go.

• 52:10Speaker 02

Well, look, I'm a huge fan of LG. I use an LG TV at home that I love. I use a lot of LG products. And so this just feels like the next, the next big thing. So I'm in, I don't know if I have much to offer as a, as a venture capitalist. I mean, it seems like frankly, the biggest tech companies in the world are already funding this project. But if you want a goober like me on board, I mean, I'm right here.

• 52:33Speaker 03

Look, really, we just love money. That's fair. I love that. So more of it is better.

• 52:38Speaker 02

  Yeah, of course.

• 52:39Andrew Manganelli?

Here's where you should choose me.

• 52:41Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 52:42Andrew Manganelli?

To my left, we have someone who notably has not been the nicest to folding phones in the past, you know? Some say the Surface Duo, some people on Reddit might say the Surface Duo is dead because of this man to my left. And wow, we can't take that risk. He doesn't want to mess up his good name.

• 53:00Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 53:01Andrew Manganelli?

There's lots of other reviewers out there who will be out to get us because this is LG, a brand that I love. But I know all of the tech reviewers, except for one or two, are out to get LG because they have a personal vendetta against them. No other reason why they could have failed.

• 53:17Speaker 02

And, and, and they failed because of those.

• 53:19Andrew Manganelli?

  Because of them. Correct.

• 53:21Speaker 03

We often say that in the office. I'm glad that you brought it up. We talk about it often.

• 53:25Speaker 02

  Yeah, it's a known fact.

• 53:26Andrew Manganelli?

I like that we're bringing it back. I have a content strategy for how we bring it to these reviewers.

• 53:31Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 53:33Andrew Manganelli?

  Thirty-seven embargoes.

• 53:35Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 53:36Andrew Manganelli?

Each one of these screens needs their own embargo.

• 53:39Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 53:39Andrew Manganelli?

Because we need to produce the, we need to show the incredible form factor before we show that there could be a couple, we'll call them hiccups in the software process of this. Lots of different, you know, we've got a lot of integrations here. Those don't always mesh right away. And we probably won't solve those till about four or five software updates after the consumers already have this in their hand, but they don't need to know that and the reviewers don't.

• 54:04Speaker 03

But we can promise them that we will.

• 54:06Andrew Manganelli?

Exactly. So we need, embargo one is preorder day.

• 54:10Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 54:11Andrew Manganelli?

Straight off the bat, no screens turned on, one fold, one screen unfolding, external shots only. Perfect.

• 54:20Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 54:20Andrew Manganelli?

And then we'll slowly unfold each screen one by one. Through the embargoes, it'll probably be seven to eight months worth of embargoes before they can do their full review, well after the 30-day refund policy.

• 54:34Speaker 03

  This guy's good. Good, good.

• 54:36Speaker 01

  This guy's good.

• 54:36Andrew Manganelli?

And that's how we sell this bad boy. And we bring back LG with a vengeance because it is a vengeance to all the tech reviewers out there who killed them in the first place.

• 54:45Speaker 03

I agree. This, this whole thing is about revenge and I'm glad you, uh, I'm glad you saw that and, um,

• 54:51Andrew Manganelli?

  Yeah.

• 54:51Speaker 03

  recognize. Yeah.

• 54:52Speaker 01

Andrew, would you, would you be willing to go in with me on that deal?

• 54:56Andrew Manganelli?

I think, you know, it would be a good, uh, like comeback story of Marquez being on LG's good side.

• 55:04Speaker 01

Yeah, exactly. That's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking the big headline is that I've changed my tune. And I, I am a big LG fan.

• 55:13Speaker 03

Now, question, would you be open to signing a deal where that's put in writing and we can sue you for many millions of dollars if you don't say that?

• 55:22Andrew Manganelli?

  And we don't disclose that.

• 55:23Speaker 03

And we don't disclose that to anybody.

• 55:25Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 55:26Speaker 03

  Nobody.

• 55:27Speaker 01

I would say. Yes, if I also get to add partners as well.

• 55:34Speaker 03

Okay, yeah, add as many as you want. You love partnerships.

• 55:36Speaker 01

  Yeah, I like that.

• 55:37Speaker 03

Give me a pitch right now. Who do you know?

• 55:39Speaker 01

Well, you got all the connections. I was thinking you could have an AI partner.

• 55:42Speaker 03

  Oh, absolutely.

• 55:43Speaker 01

Something like that. I was thinking you could have a couple of other partners in the software department. Obviously, the cameras. You can almost stack partnerships. Maybe one partnership for the ultra wide camera, one partnership for the telephoto camera. We had a 3200 million power battery in there. I think you can get two or three partnerships just on the battery. Like, fast charging. Buy Oppo. I think there's a lot of room there. So I'm liking this.

• 56:01Speaker 03

  I like where you're thinking.

• 56:02Speaker 02

I did have one partnership question. So I noticed that the official crypto broker of this phone is crypto.com, who also happens to be the jersey sponsor of the best basketball team in the Mid-Atlantic Conference.

• 56:16Speaker 03

That's a terrible question. I'm sorry you asked it.

• 56:18Speaker 02

So when are we getting the official Joel Embiid Philadelphia 76ers collab partnership?

• 56:25Speaker 03

Unfortunately, unfortunately, that's the B tier crypto.com partnership. And the A tier one is the crypto.com arena in Los Angeles. We will actually be wrapping the entire crypto.com arena in LG Maximalist phones, though, as a promotion.

• 56:40Andrew Manganelli?

I do. I do have one other idea for, you know, further along in this partnership between us, maybe Marquez.

• 56:49Andrew Manganelli?

We need to look at the budget market, and I think there's opportunity for the LG Maximalist A.

• 56:55Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 56:57Andrew Manganelli?

Further down the line, maybe five screens, plastic everything. We'll take away wireless charging. I actually didn't see if it had wireless.

• 57:04Speaker 02

  47 megapixel camera.

• 57:06Speaker 03

  You know, the number one.

• 57:07Andrew Manganelli?

  I think there's the opportunity.

• 57:08Speaker 03

The number one rule of the LG Maximalist phone is if you if you are wondering if it has the feature, it does.

• 57:13Andrew Manganelli?

  Does it have a DAC?

• 57:15Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 57:15Speaker 01

  Headphone jack?

• 57:16Speaker 03

  Sure.

• 57:17Speaker 01

  Stereo speakers?

• 57:18Speaker 03

Absolutely. Well, you saw. I mean, yeah.

• 57:19Andrew Manganelli?

  It is stereo speakers.

• 57:21Speaker 02

How's the low light performance on the camera? Because with 50 megapixels, the photo sites are going to be really small.

• 57:26Speaker 01

I think it was 500 megapixels.

• 57:27Speaker 03

  500 megapixel main sensor.

• 57:29Andrew Manganelli?

  It's binning down to 50.

• 57:30Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 57:30Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 57:31Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 57:32Speaker 03

  No notes. No notes.

• 57:34Andrew Manganelli?

  Yeah.

• 57:35Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 57:36Speaker 02

You know, Alex, I love what you're putting down, but I think without a Philadelphia 76ers integration, I just don't think I could cosign this. That's okay. I was really just here for him. That's, yeah. The headline, the headline, Mark has Brownlee, single-handedly resurrects LG Mobile is, that's gonna hit, man.

• 57:54Speaker 01

  That's what I'm thinking. Yeah.

• 57:56Speaker 02

Yeah, it's like, it's like, yeah, you know what? Never mind. I was trying to think of a movie where someone kills someone and then brings them back to life, but I couldn't.

• 58:03Speaker 01

  That's a book.

• 58:04Speaker 02

  Yeah, I love that book.

• 58:05Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 58:05Speaker 02

I'm reading it on my minimal phone.

• 58:07Speaker 01

Nice. Yeah, no, I'm, I'm thinking, I'm thinking we can collab on this. I bring the partnerships and the headlines.

• 58:14Andrew Manganelli?

  You're the media.

• 58:16Speaker 01

And the media aspect. I can get this in front of reviewers. You've got, I can hear the strategy coming from, from all angles on this phone. I think we can hit every single feature in every single market. We have a timeline. We can get an A series version out. I think this is, I think the three of us are gonna make something pretty magical here.

• 58:33Speaker 02

Hey, Ellis here, in the future. Sorry for the interruption, but all of my co-hosts decided to use this time to talk smack about the Philadelphia 76ers, which I just can't, I can't let happen, you know? This is, I'm mixing this episode. I get to decide what makes it in. And so, yeah, anyway, back to the show.

• 58:54Andrew Manganelli?

Thank you, thank you. I'm slowly realizing that, you know, this is an idea that kind of got thrown together for the podcast. The thing that's the hardest is they're all tech products and everyone wants Mark has to be their partner for the tech product.

• 59:06Speaker 01

All right, we've got another set of partnerships in the works. That was really fun. We're gonna take a quick break and come back with one more from Adam.

• 59:26Speaker 01

Support for the show comes from Jira by Atlassian. So AI is only as useful as the context it has to work from, but when that context is scattered across tools like threads and DMs, that means your team and your AI agents end up flying kind of blind. That's the problem Jira solves. What's the goal tied to your project? What got decided last week in Slack? Teamwork graph pulls all of these pieces together from Jira, Confluence, Slack, GitHub, and more, so nothing falls through the cracks. With Jira, you can actually share that context with the AI agents you already use, like Claude, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot, assign them work directly, or connect your agents through MCP. Spend less time digging through endless links and DMs, less time chasing down what got decided and by who, and more time actually shipping.

• 1:01:28Speaker 01

All right, welcome back. Last but not least, we have a presentation, a product from Adam.

• 1:01:40Speaker 02

  Stone-faced.

• 1:01:44Speaker 07

Oh, now I hear the music. Okay. It is weird walking over here to silence. Not hearing music. Yeah, I'm not hearing anything.

• 1:01:51Speaker 01

Adam, welcome to the Eel Pit.

• 1:01:54Speaker 07

  I'm ready.

• 1:01:54Speaker 01

We are all ready for your presentation as well.

• 1:01:57Speaker 02

Yeah, this has been a long time coming.

• 1:01:59Speaker 07

Buttons are back, baby. That's what it's called.

• 1:02:02Speaker 02

  I'm interested.

• 1:02:02Speaker 07

I knew you would be, but all right, hear me out.

• 1:02:07Speaker 07

The problem with today's tech, it's too abstract. Everything is hidden behind screens, taps, tones, you know, like there's no oomph anymore. I don't feel anything when I'm using these phones. Prophones are all the same color. App UIs look all the same. We're not using all of our senses with modern technology. You know, we're only using a few of them, like sight and sound. When you tap your screen, it just vibrates to like simulate the motion. We play music out of crappy tiny speakers and think that's okay on some ways. But what about all of our other senses? There's so many other senses.

• 1:02:43Speaker 02

I'm just a little confused because you mentioned sight, sound, and touch. So the other sentences are taste and smell?

• 1:02:50Speaker 07

And the sixth sense. No, yeah, just taste and smell.

• 1:02:53Andrew Manganelli?

It's just that, it's actually just that movie.

• 1:02:57Speaker 07

  The solution. Bubbles.

• 1:02:59Speaker 02

  Whoa.

• 1:03:00Speaker 07

What? I have bubble wrap for you guys. Oh, wait, no, not bubbles. Never mind. Buttons. We want buttons. And switches and knobs. And so I present to you the iTab. Can you explain what you are looking at right now?

• 1:03:15Speaker 07

  I see you cannot.

• 1:03:16Speaker 01

If a normal smartphone is a slab with a glass screen and two or three buttons on the sides. This is a screen surrounded by many buttons, knobs, and switches and other things. A kickstand, a thermometer, a knob, an antenna, and it's looking pretty maximal, I might say.

• 1:03:39Speaker 02

Yeah, wait, let me, it's sort of, it's sort of like picture. Kind of looks like a, an old school radio, like a old school, like portable radio. But there's an EVF on top.

• 1:03:52Speaker 07

  Oh, is that what that?

• 1:03:54Speaker 02

There's a compass in the top right.

• 1:03:56Speaker 07

  Correct.

• 1:03:56Speaker 02

Then there's like the dial pad from like a kitchen landline phone. There's a tape transport at the bottom. Is that a physical eject button?

• 1:04:06Speaker 07

  It is.

• 1:04:07Speaker 02

Next to the transport? So I, we're gonna get there, because I want to know what you're ejecting.

• 1:04:10Andrew Manganelli?

I'm dying to know what that is.

• 1:04:11Speaker 02

On the right, there is a full mercury thermometer.

• 1:04:16Speaker 07

  Okay.

• 1:04:16Speaker 02

  And.

• 1:04:16Andrew Manganelli?

  A kickstand.

• 1:04:17Speaker 02

And then an antenna sticking out of the top.

• 1:04:20Speaker 07

What if I told you this was just a case? That screen in the middle is an iPad.

• 1:04:26Andrew Manganelli?

  It's that big?

• 1:04:27Speaker 07

  Hmm.

• 1:04:28Andrew Manganelli?

Or iPad mini. I think like the best, does this not look like it would be like? If you were playing a video game like Firewatch or something and you had like the central like menu screen? They wanted to make it more immersive, so like he held this like device up every time he needed to guess? This is what it would look like.

• 1:04:45Speaker 02

Yeah, that, that is how I would describe it. Or like something, have you ever played the game Astroneer?

• 1:04:50Andrew Manganelli?

  No.

• 1:04:51Speaker 02

  All right, great.

• 1:04:52Speaker 07

  Cool.

• 1:04:52Speaker 02

  Good story, guys.

• 1:04:54Andrew Manganelli?

No, I can already agree with you.

• 1:04:57Speaker 02

Oh, look who knows how to use the sound buttons.

• 1:05:00Speaker 07

  Alex is on the sound.

• 1:05:01Andrew Manganelli?

Okay, so this is a case for an iPad.

• 1:05:03Speaker 07

You put the iPad in, that is the screen right there. As Marquez plays with the bubble wrap.

• 1:05:10Speaker 02

  All right.

• 1:05:10Speaker 07

And it gives your iPad all of this extra functionality with buttons and everything.

• 1:05:15Speaker 02

  Cool.

• 1:05:17Speaker 07

It also lets you touch, taste and smell your tech. You see that little grip on the side?

• 1:05:22Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:05:23Speaker 07

That's not just the grip. It's also the smell-o-vision. It's like one-time use, because you have to refill it after every time you use it. But it can do it.

• 1:05:32Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 1:05:33Speaker 07

The iPad case. Hardware apps include compass, radio, screen recording, calculator, temperature, walkie-talkie camera, AI assistant.

• 1:05:43Andrew Manganelli?

  Naturally.

• 1:05:44Speaker 07

The specs, telephoto lens, physical viewfinder, 48 megapixel main sensor. The exposure control are all controlled by knobs.

• 1:05:51Andrew Manganelli?

  Love that.

• 1:05:52Speaker 07

Built-in kickstand and an insane battery capacitive. This is a collab from Teenage Engineering and Mischief.

• 1:06:00Andrew Manganelli?

  I noticed there's some asterisks.

• 1:06:02Speaker 02

Yeah, it was my follow-up question.

• 1:06:03Speaker 07

  There are some asterisks, yes.

• 1:06:05Speaker 02

  What?

• 1:06:07Speaker 01

Okay, okay, so, so I see the, the, the asterisk after AI assistant.

• 1:06:13Speaker 02

  Correct.

• 1:06:14Speaker 01

And insane battery capacity. What, uh, what do those asterisks mean, Adam?

• 1:06:19Speaker 07

I'm so glad you asked, Marcus. So the AI assistant asterisk refers to the fact that you need to dial in to an FM radio station in order to use this AI assistant. It's a one-way technology. The AI will just constantly be spouting advice over broadcast.

• 1:06:36Speaker 02

Oh, so you can't query it?

• 1:06:37Speaker 07

You cannot query it. It just gives you what it thinks you should do.

• 1:06:41Speaker 02

Okay, and then, so the asterisk after insane battery capacity?

• 1:06:45Speaker 07

  Because yes.

• 1:06:46Andrew Manganelli?

I love the idea for the FM radio AI assistant because if you were not spending tokens, is that what you use in AI? We're not, you know, we're not destroying the world through too much over.

• 1:07:00Speaker 02

  It's in the bubble round.

• 1:07:02Andrew Manganelli?

We're not destroying the, the world with the overuse of AI and, and servers and graphics cards. We just kind of have one that's going on. It's, it's the most environmentally friendly.

• 1:07:11Speaker 07

It is the one AI for all of humanity.

• 1:07:13Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:07:14Speaker 07

  It will just be broadcasting.

• 1:07:16Speaker 01

Kind of like Overlord vibes. I kind of like it.

• 1:07:17Speaker 07

  Kind of.

• 1:07:18Speaker 02

All right, Adam, I'm sorry. I really don't want to just like tear this thing apart, but I, I gotta, we gotta dive.

• 1:07:22Speaker 07

  By all means, do it.

• 1:07:23Speaker 02

First of all, this dial pad, right?

• 1:07:25Speaker 07

  Yes.

• 1:07:25Speaker 02

  There's two zeros on it.

• 1:07:26Speaker 07

  There are.

• 1:07:28Speaker 02

What, what feature does this unlock for the user?

• 1:07:30Speaker 07

When you press the second zero, it's just the number 10.

• 1:07:36Andrew Manganelli?

What happens when you press the X?

• 1:07:37Speaker 07

When you press the X, that's a custom function. It does all the numbers, zero through 10.

• 1:07:41Speaker 02

All right, interesting. Um, in between the compass and the side dial pad, there appears to be what is either an incandescent light or a, a second, but smooth dial pad.

• 1:07:54Speaker 07

  It is a smooth dial.

• 1:07:56Speaker 02

  It's a smooth dial pad.

• 1:07:57Speaker 07

That's how you change functions on the iPad itself.

• 1:08:01Speaker 02

Okay, yeah, all right, all right. Okay, I think I'm starting to understand. Is there an FM radio?

• 1:08:06Speaker 07

There is an FM radio. That's how you tune in to the AI.

• 1:08:10Speaker 02

Right, right, right, right. And that's what the antenna is for. All right, this, this is starting to make sense. So it is just a case?

• 1:08:15Speaker 07

  It's a case.

• 1:08:15Speaker 02

There is a power button on it.

• 1:08:17Speaker 07

  There is a power button.

• 1:08:18Speaker 02

So does that, the power for the?

• 1:08:20Speaker 07

For the case, because iPads don't, like, you can't just, like, run all the battery. It would just drain it. So it needs its own power source.

• 1:08:26Speaker 02

So this is totally up my alley. I love, I love these sort of expanded use products like this, but I will say, my favorite thing where I think you've really outdone yourself. Is that chrome kickstand?

• 1:08:37Speaker 07

  Yeah, buddy.

• 1:08:38Speaker 02

  Man, does that look sweet.

• 1:08:40Speaker 07

And it folds all the way back.

• 1:08:41Speaker 02

  On this thing.

• 1:08:42Speaker 07

Alum Microsoft Surface, like it just goes.

• 1:08:45Speaker 02

  Switch.

• 1:08:45Speaker 07

So you can, yeah, exactly. And switch.

• 1:08:47Speaker 02

I like it. I like it.

• 1:08:48Speaker 07

  Marques, you don't look impressed.

• 1:08:49Andrew Manganelli?

My favorite part is the mercury thermometer with no readouts on the side to tell.

• 1:08:55Speaker 07

It's just vibes. It's real mercury, too.

• 1:08:59Andrew Manganelli?

  Awesome.

• 1:09:01Speaker 07

  Just in case you're wondering.

• 1:09:03Speaker 02

He's real. Is that a mercury? Now I feel like I gotta look that. I thought that I said mercury thermometer. Then I was like, I thought that was the one with the marbles.

• 1:09:09Speaker 07

  Nah, that's mercury.

• 1:09:11Andrew Manganelli?

I'm pretty sure that's a mercury one. The glass ones with the liquid inside.

• 1:09:14Speaker 02

Oh, yeah, yeah. It's a mercury thermometer. Yum. So Adam, Adam, Adam, Adam, Adam. We're trying to put this on shelves, right? This is a consumer product that has Teen Engineering and Mischief, two of the hottest design firms around right now. What is your pitch to the consumer?

• 1:09:32Speaker 07

  Hype, baby.

• 1:09:33Speaker 02

  Hype?

• 1:09:34Speaker 07

You could be the person walking around holding this.

• 1:09:36Speaker 02

Oh, that's, that's what you, this is not an at home product.

• 1:09:40Speaker 07

No, no, this is a like big red boot kind of product.

• 1:09:43Speaker 02

  I, I.

• 1:09:46Andrew Manganelli?

I think whoever gave Marques bubble wrap was a terrible idea.

• 1:09:52Speaker 02

  You know?

• 1:09:52Andrew Manganelli?

I think the reason you shouldn't partner with Ellis is because he's asking questions like, how do we market this? It's with Teenage Engineering and Mischief. Marketing is.

• 1:09:59Speaker 07

  Built in, baby.

• 1:10:00Andrew Manganelli?

It's the marketing is done already. There's, there's almost no point in doing this. In fact, the only way to sell this is through a lottery system on a, a temporary website that self destructs in less than 24 hours.

• 1:10:13Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:10:14Andrew Manganelli?

Um, and through that website, you actually just get mailed a physical raffle ticket. And if you are one of the numbers on that raffle ticket, then you are able to buy a box of Boy Scout Girl Scout cookies. That includes the actual device side of it.

• 1:10:29Speaker 02

Not, not Girl Scout cookies. Boy Scout brand.

• 1:10:33Andrew Manganelli?

  Correct.

• 1:10:33Speaker 02

  It's like, it's like sort of a, it's like a Joe's sort of situation.

• 1:10:37Andrew Manganelli?

  Got it.

• 1:10:37Speaker 07

Okay. Yeah, I like that. That's interesting. I could see that.

• 1:10:40Andrew Manganelli?

I think that's how we sell it. And then it's done. That's all we need.

• 1:10:45Speaker 07

Yeah. No, this is a fully formed product.

• 1:10:47Andrew Manganelli?

  There's only 50 of them.

• 1:10:48Speaker 07

  Yeah, naturally.

• 1:10:49Andrew Manganelli?

  Profit margins are

• 1:10:50Speaker 02

Is there only a telephoto lens?

• 1:10:53Speaker 07

Only a telephoto lens. But there is a viewfinder, so you can see it.

• 1:10:57Speaker 02

  So it's for bird photography?

• 1:10:58Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 1:10:59Andrew Manganelli?

Anything close enough to it will be paying too much attention to owl house and the cases. Why would you want to take a picture?

• 1:11:03Speaker 02

What is wrong with our coworkers that 50% of the products brought in were designed by teenage engineering? And 50% of the products brought in were specifically for bird photography?

• 1:11:15Speaker 07

Nothing says hype like bird photography.

• 1:11:17Speaker 01

  It's true. And orange.

• 1:11:18Speaker 07

  And orange.

• 1:11:18Speaker 01

I have a couple of questions.

• 1:11:20Speaker 07

  Okay.

• 1:11:20Speaker 01

So obviously, there's a lot of physical controls and things going on here. Do you have a price that you're aiming to hit when the ships?

• 1:11:27Speaker 07

  No, no, it's raffle only.

• 1:11:29Speaker 01

  So there's no revenue?

• 1:11:31Speaker 07

No, the revenue is all of the millions of people that will be buying a raffle ticket.

• 1:11:36Speaker 02

Oh, so how much does a raffle ticket cost?

• 1:11:38Speaker 07

However much you want. You tell me, investors, how much is a raffle ticket?

• 1:11:42Speaker 01

  Interesting.

• 1:11:42Andrew Manganelli?

I think we let them name their own price.

• 1:11:44Speaker 07

  Hmm.

• 1:11:45Speaker 01

  With a minimum, of course.

• 1:11:47Speaker 07

  Minimum $2.

• 1:11:48Speaker 01

  At least, yeah.

• 1:11:49Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 1:11:49Speaker 01

Uh, okay, that's one question. The other question was gonna be, you have all these things attached to it, but I'm trying to see if there's anything patentable, protectable here that couldn't be copied by our competitors? Because I could see, you know, an LG or an OtterBox coming out with something in this same category. And I'm curious if you could defend this.

• 1:12:16Andrew Manganelli?

No one's patenting that number pad because it's inherently wrong.

• 1:12:20Speaker 01

That's, that, you probably should patent it just to make sure they don't copy it, but I'm curious.

• 1:12:24Speaker 07

We have spent the last several months buying up all of the mercury that is commercially available. So no one else can get mercury.

• 1:12:32Speaker 01

Big monopoly energy, okay? I like that.

• 1:12:34Speaker 02

  How much does it weigh?

• 1:12:36Speaker 07

  It weighs roughly three pounds.

• 1:12:38Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 1:12:38Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 1:12:38Speaker 02

  So it is carry.

• 1:12:39Speaker 07

  Depending on the size because.

• 1:12:41Andrew Manganelli?

  With or without the iPad?

• 1:12:42Speaker 07

You can put an iPad in it, iPad Pro, iPad Pro 13 inch, iPad Mini, depends on which one you want.

• 1:12:47Andrew Manganelli?

  It's universal.

• 1:12:48Speaker 07

Yeah. Yeah, you thought about it. For all of it. There you go.

• 1:12:50Speaker 02

I do love that kickstand. I don't know why.

• 1:12:52Speaker 07

The kickstand is sick and it folds all the way up and you can wear it like a clutch.

• 1:12:55Andrew Manganelli?

That kickstand is actually very similar to the kickstand on your OnePlus KeyCrown keyboard.

• 1:13:00Speaker 02

  It is.

• 1:13:01Andrew Manganelli?

Yeah, it's like almost exactly the same.

• 1:13:03Speaker 02

All right, Adam, hear me out. I'm on board. And if you go with me, here's how we're gonna do this. We're gonna do the raffle idea. I think that's a really excellent way to distribute the product.

• 1:13:11Speaker 07

Thank you. I brought that up.

• 1:13:12Speaker 02

What the problem is people pay for raffle tickets is that if they don't win, they effectively get nothing.

• 1:13:18Andrew Manganelli?

And it was so they get nothing. They get a sticker.

• 1:13:20Speaker 02

  Hey, didn't let me finish.

• 1:13:22Andrew Manganelli?

  Okay.

• 1:13:23Speaker 02

Which is why I think the purchase of a raffle ticket should be through a crypto coin, a meme coin. Because that way we are still able to deliver consumers absolutely nothing, but they'll at least think they have something.

• 1:13:41Speaker 07

What, what do I get out of it?

• 1:13:46Speaker 07

Can I pull something at the end of this so I can get?

• 1:13:50Speaker 02

Well, that's the beauty of this whole thing is you won't even need to do a rug pull because you're already providing nothing whatsoever.

• 1:13:58Speaker 07

People driving are just like flinching every.

• 1:14:02Speaker 07

Sorry, I should not have given Marques bubble red. That's my bad.

• 1:14:05Speaker 02

Uh, but yeah, no, I'm, I'm in. I would like to be your investor. I think as, uh, you know, someone who works in audio, I'm really, I could, I'd be great at communicating teenage engineering products. As someone who likes bad stuff, um, I'd be really excellent at communicating this.

• 1:14:19Andrew Manganelli?

  That's true.

• 1:14:20Speaker 02

Uh, I'm literally using a phone with as many buttons on it right now. Um, and.

• 1:14:26Andrew Manganelli?

  Loving every second of it.

• 1:14:27Speaker 02

And loving every second of it. And, um, and yeah, I just think I would be the perfect person to guide you towards capturing all of the market share for a, a camping case, I think is what this sort of is. The hype, a hype camping case.

• 1:14:45Speaker 07

  The hype-est, the hype-iest.

• 1:14:46Andrew Manganelli?

Are there any plans for supporting Android tablets?

• 1:14:50Speaker 07

  What's? Somewhere down the line.

• 1:14:52Andrew Manganelli?

  Oh.

• 1:14:52Speaker 07

  Yeah.

• 1:14:53Andrew Manganelli?

  For that, I'm out.

• 1:14:56Speaker 01

I'm, I'm thinking I like this. There's a couple of things that I really like that I think I could bring value to. One is I think I could sell a ton of raffle tickets for you. And I think we can get this in front of a lot of eyeballs. Two, I just like the aesthetic of the product, the presentation, the dynamic island in the middle. Everything is just working for me. Uh, I meant the dynamic island in the presentation, not in the product.

• 1:15:20Speaker 02

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:15:20Speaker 01

  I think that's great.

• 1:15:21Speaker 02

  On the screen.

• 1:15:22Speaker 01

And then I think, yeah, there's, there's a little bit of room for extra little design touches. And I think I was actually picturing a hype video that I would be able to make for you. That's just ASMR. It's just sounds. It's me pressing the buttons with a microphone super up close in 8K. And just hearing the way every button and everything sounds when you use it. And I think that would be incredible. So I think I could do that for you and we'd be able to blow this thing up.

• 1:15:45Speaker 02

So where's, where's taste come in? What am I, what am I tasting as part of this?

• 1:15:49Speaker 01

Whatever you want. Mercury right there on the side.

• 1:15:51Speaker 02

  Yeah, Mercury.

• 1:15:55Speaker 01

  You know?

• 1:15:56Speaker 02

  All right.

• 1:15:57Speaker 01

Yeah. Sorry, I forgot to tell you, if you want a screen record too, there's a big orange button. You just press that and it starts screen recording.

• 1:16:03Andrew Manganelli?

  Wait, what's the eject button?

• 1:16:04Speaker 01

The eject button is because this is also a CD player.

• 1:16:08Speaker 02

  Where?

• 1:16:10Speaker 01

  On the side.

• 1:16:13Speaker 02

On what side? There's no, it's somewhere in here.

• 1:16:16Andrew Manganelli?

  That's the Astros.

• 1:16:18Speaker 02

Does it come with an ashtray?

• 1:16:22Speaker 01

How does it charge? USB A or USB C?

• 1:16:24Andrew Manganelli?

  Micro B. Micro B.

• 1:16:26Speaker 01

  Micro B, yeah.

• 1:16:27Speaker 02

  Micro B!

• 1:16:30Speaker 02

  I got.

• 1:16:33Speaker 02

I mean, Adam, it's the kind of thing where it's like, I have infinite notes and at the same time, I, I have no notes. And I just really hope, you know, we, we've produced this podcast together for many years now. And I hope that you can, you know, parlay that trust into letting me guide this product to success. Even though I don't see the tape player and I don't really want to lick it, um, I still think.

• 1:16:56Speaker 01

Change. I could fit that in an ASMR video. So you've got two offers on the table. Andrew is out for the lack of Android support out of the gate, but you have an offer from Ellis and an offer from myself.

• 1:17:06Speaker 02

No, no, no. Andrew is out because of the Android.

• 1:17:09Speaker 01

  I see, I see.

• 1:17:10Speaker 02

Because if something is compatible with Android, it is inherently not.

• 1:17:14Speaker 07

It's one of those things where you have such a good product and the minute you try and expand into all those things, it's just going to be a money pit and we're going to go out of business. And I don't want to watch my money go down the drain like that.

• 1:17:26Speaker 02

  Pop incoming. Bingo.

• 1:17:30Speaker 07

Oh my God, sorry Ellis, who has to edit this later.

• 1:17:32Speaker 02

I'm just going to replace every single bubble wrap pop with the sound of a cat meow. Meow, meow.

• 1:17:39Speaker 01

I just like that you gave me bubble wrap and I want to work with you more.

• 1:17:43Speaker 07

All right, you know, you guys have made this decision quite tough.

• 1:17:46Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:17:48Speaker 07

But I think I have to go with Ellis.

• 1:17:52Speaker 02

  Wow.

• 1:17:53Speaker 07

Ellis, you know, I made this intentionally with the buttons and knobs with you in mind. And I know that we can take this to the next level.

• 1:17:59Speaker 02

I think you and, you know, I think you and I can take anything to the next level out of, but this.

• 1:18:04Speaker 07

  Except this episode.

• 1:18:12Speaker 01

If I see an ASMR video on this, I'll be sending a fake copyright strike, you know?

• 1:18:18Speaker 07

Unfortunately, I also have all of these scores in front of me. So Ellis, now that you have two votes for you, Andrew also has two votes. It would appear that the shark who got the most people to partner with them is Merkiz with three partnerships.

• 1:18:34Speaker 01

  Nice.

• 1:18:36Speaker 07

It's almost like it's his show or something.

• 1:18:38Speaker 02

I could have had it all.

• 1:18:39Speaker 01

I offered to lick the mercury. It didn't even work, but I would have gotten something there. Amazing.

• 1:18:44Speaker 02

  Wow.

• 1:18:45Speaker 01

That's. That was fun. I'm glad we did that.

• 1:18:48Speaker 02

I think there is a world where this concept gets expanded in a future bonus episode. I don't exactly know what that looks like.

• 1:18:56Andrew Manganelli?

I could see this as a like, maybe Ted, this, okay, so none of us on the show knew any of these things.

• 1:19:02Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:19:02Andrew Manganelli?

It obviously was very meme focused, which I think we had a really fun time doing. I could see a version of this show where like, do people think of like,

• 1:19:11Speaker 01

  Real things.

• 1:19:12Andrew Manganelli?

We always hear like, wouldn't that be so cool if this had that? And maybe there is a version of this where we like pitch it a little more seriously.

• 1:19:18Speaker 02

Look at our emails. And it's literally like, we like, we get this in email form.

• 1:19:23Andrew Manganelli?

That would be a banger episode of just taking some of the worst emails, don't name anyone and like going through something.

• 1:19:29Speaker 02

  I got an email.

• 1:19:31Speaker 01

  Don't name it.

• 1:19:32Speaker 02

I'm not gonna name it, but if it feels too specific, you know, maybe cut this. I got an email for a power outlet that has a credit card swiper in it. So that if you're like at a coffee shop, you can like charge people to, to charge their laptop or whatever.

• 1:19:48Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 1:19:49Andrew Manganelli?

Oh, wait, that's a good idea.

• 1:19:50Speaker 02

No, it's not a good idea.

• 1:19:51Speaker 01

  That's a good idea.

• 1:19:52Speaker 02

Stupid idea. That is a stupid.

• 1:19:54Speaker 01

If I own a coffee shop, that's what I'm doing. Yeah, this is an enterprise.

• 1:19:58Speaker 02

  Why?

• 1:19:59Speaker 01

It's for commercial. When you hand the bartender your phone, you're like, can you charge this? And be like, hand me your credit card and we'll make this happen. And you make so much extra revenue and people would do it. You'd make some external, you'd make some revenue on top.

• 1:20:10Andrew Manganelli?

  People would 100% do that.

• 1:20:11Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:20:11Andrew Manganelli?

That's a good idea. I'm gonna email them and invest.

• 1:20:14Speaker 02

That is not, that is not a good idea. That is not a good idea.

• 1:20:17Speaker 01

This is why I said yes to everything for a month for that video. I think we should, we'll probably have to do that again sometime.

• 1:20:21Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:20:22Speaker 01

  Anyway.

• 1:20:23Andrew Manganelli?

Well, if you listen to the end of this episode, send Mark has an email soon because he'll be saying yes, apparently. But, uh, if you also made it this far, thank you. That was purely experimental and super fun.

• 1:20:35Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:20:35Andrew Manganelli?

I don't know how much fun it was to listen to, but, uh.

• 1:20:37Speaker 01

Let us know which product you liked the best.

• 1:20:40Speaker 02

  Please.

• 1:20:41Andrew Manganelli?

And huge shout out to David Federspiel. Again, he made all these concepts a long time ago, but I'm glad we finally got them out into the real world.

• 1:20:49Speaker 02

And we'll be back with a normal episode where I'm not at this table on Friday.

• 1:20:55Andrew Manganelli?

  We'll miss you.

• 1:20:56Speaker 01

  Well.

• 1:20:57Andrew Manganelli?

Thanks for watching. See you guys later. Peace.

• 1:21:00Speaker 02

  Peace.

• 1:21:01Andrew Manganelli?

Support for the show comes from Fetch Pet Insurance. If you have a dog or cat, here's something you need to know. According to Forbes, one in three pets will need emergency treatment this year. And every six seconds, a pet parent gets hit with a vet bill over $1,000. Vet bills don't have to hit that hard. Fetch is pet insurance that covers accidents, illnesses, and emergency visits, and pays back up to 90% of eligible vet bills. No wonder pet parents give Fetch an excellent rating on TrustPilot.
