What happens if you're born like on the east side where you're from? And you're a nerd? You're just a fucking nerd. What if you suck at basketball? You can't rap.

• 1:06Speaker 03

  That's a great question.

• 1:06Adam Friedland?

What if you're bad at school?

• 1:08Speaker 03

  A nerd and dumb?

• 1:09Adam Friedland?

  You're ugly, small dick.

• 1:13Adam Friedland?

  What do you do?

• 1:15Speaker 03

Damn, that's a good question. What do you do?

• 1:18Speaker 03

Ah, fuck, I was just about to say that.

• 1:19Adam Friedland?

  That sucks.

• 1:20Speaker 03

But don't kill yourself because you got a small PP. Don't do, don't do that.

• 1:24Adam Friedland?

No, I don't have, I'm not talking about me.

• 1:25Speaker 03

It's 2025, they got surgeries and all type of shit. Do something like that.

• 1:29Adam Friedland?

At least I have my hair, you know, I'm chilling.

Welcome to The Adam Friedland Show. I'm your host, Adam Friedland. Guys, as always, I'd like to start by thanking our members here on youtube.com. If you'd like to support the work we're doing here at TAPS, you can become a member by clicking the link in the description of this video, or by clicking "Join" at the top of this page. You'll get early access to all of our videos, and for the second and third tiers, you'll get your name in the credits. And we also have a Patreon if you'd like to join through Patreon. I also want to take a moment to recognize the people that work here at The Adam Friedland Show. Since the end of January, they've worked tirelessly, and I marvel at their commitment. They've willingly sacrificed marriages, they've cut off friends and family,

• 2:45Adam Friedland?

and they've all given me access to their locations on Find My Friends 24 hours a day. They have offered shoulders to cry on, hands to massage my aches and pains, and even part of their salaries when the credit collectors come a-knocking. Thanks to them, I am now proudly student loan free. But I've realized in recent weeks that they have needs as well. So I've made a decision to give them two weeks of time off, unpaid of course, where they can pick up the pieces and try to repair some of the damage they've done to their personal lives, voluntarily, might I add. So after this week, we will be back the second week of August,

• 3:27Adam Friedland?

and every week thereafter, until President Donald John Trump gets the justice that he deserves. My guest this week is the multi-platinum certified recording artist, G. Herbo. As a teenager growing up in Chicago, he rose to prominence alongside artists like Chief Keef and Lil Dirk, trailblazing a movement that would later explode globally: drill music. These artists made a name for themselves online, recording and uploading their own music and shooting their own videos, painting unfiltered pictures of the harsh realities that they were living through. In recent years, Herb has become a vocal advocate for mental health in his community, and spoken candidly about having PTSD and survivor's guilt, and the emotional toll of growing up around violence and loss.

• 4:12Adam Friedland?

Now, obviously, on the surface, it seems like Herb and I have a lot in common. We're both hip-hop heads, we both go to therapy, we're both beloved artists. But what I found challenging was relating to his upbringing. I've never been shot by a gun. I've never even had a broken bone. The only injury I've ever sustained is a broken heart. But then I discovered the G Herbo app. Everything I ever wanted to know about Herb in one simple location. I spent hours scrolling through the posts and comments, gaining insight into Herb's life through his personal videos. And as you'll see in the interview, my research really paid off. What can I say?

• 4:57Adam Friedland?

We clicked. Which is why I've taken the liberty of creating an app of my own. The G Herbo and Adam Friedland app. For the first time ever, you can keep up with rapper G Herbo and talk show host Adam Friedland simultaneously. The app also includes features like a world map, a personal notepad, and a calculator function. So you can download now through the link in our description. And a big thanks to G Herbo for giving me this great idea. So without further ado, here's our conversation. So guys, like it's a talk show, like for real. Imagine we're at the Tonight Show, and you guys are people, tourists in Times Square that got free tickets.

• 5:41Adam Friedland?

So it'll be fun. Everyone's ready? We're excited?

• 5:47Adam Friedland?

You guys are so good to me.

• 5:49Speaker 03

  That's my cue?

• 5:50Adam Friedland?

  Uh, no, no, no. Yeah.

• 5:53Adam Friedland?

We'll keep that in the episode, though. Ladies and gentlemen, he is perhaps on the Mount Rushmore of Chicago drill rappers. I'm so excited to introduce G Herbo, everyone. Everyone, please welcome. Thank you so much.

• 6:07Speaker 03

  For sure. My brother.

• 6:10Adam Friedland?

  You're, uh...

• 6:11Speaker 03

  Thanks for having me, bro.

• 6:12Adam Friedland?

You're, uh, I guess, I guess you're the third rapper? I mean, if you count Chet Hanks, Tom Hanks' son, you're the fourth rapper that's been on the show.

• 6:21Speaker 03

  Tom Hanks' son, they rap?

• 6:22Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 6:23Speaker 03

  Oh, wow.

• 6:23Adam Friedland?

Yeah, well, I think he did rap. Now he's a country music star. And one of my best friends, I think, yeah. I want to start off, I gotta pay tribute.

• 6:33Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 6:33Adam Friedland?

We had Jadakiss on the show.

• 6:35Speaker 03

  Oh, shit, okay, okay, okay.

• 6:36Adam Friedland?

And I paid tribute, and I wouldn't, I don't want you to feel like, it has to be equal, right? To goats, any goat that comes on the show, it has to be...

• 6:46Speaker 03

For sure, I appreciate that, I appreciate that, my brother.

• 6:50Adam Friedland?

I also know Kiss is one of your guys.

• 6:52Speaker 03

  Yeah, for sure.

• 6:53Adam Friedland?

He's on, he's on your, uh, on your Mount Rushmore, so I got you.

• 6:56Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 6:57Adam Friedland?

I got you some 42. Drink champs, drink champs.

• 7:00Speaker 03

  Yes, sir.

• 7:03Speaker 03

  I appreciate that, brother.

• 7:04Adam Friedland?

  Drink champs.

• 7:05Speaker 03

  I appreciate that.

• 7:06Adam Friedland?

Yeah, yeah, that's for you. And I also got you.

• 7:08Speaker 03

  For sure.

• 7:08Adam Friedland?

I don't know if you've had these, Herb, but these are, um, from Trader Joe's, these are the peanut butter, uh, milk chocolate cups. If you haven't had them, they're gonna knock your socks off.

• 7:17Speaker 03

  Say less.

• 7:18Adam Friedland?

  So.

• 7:18Speaker 03

  So these for me too?

• 7:19Adam Friedland?

  Well, Kiss didn't get those.

• 7:20Speaker 03

  42 and peanut butter cups.

• 7:21Adam Friedland?

  Kiss actually didn't get those.

• 7:23Speaker 03

  Oh, Kiss didn't get these?

• 7:24Adam Friedland?

He didn't get the cups, but he got the 42.

• 7:25Speaker 03

  Say less, say less.

• 7:26Adam Friedland?

Should we, wait, you wanna do a lechaim? Should we do a lechaim?

• 7:29Speaker 03

  Yeah, come on, it's 5 o'clock somewhere.

• 7:30Adam Friedland?

  Tip, uh, drink champs.

• 7:33Speaker 03

  I'm good. A lechaim. A lechaim.

• 7:36Adam Friedland?

Lechaim, oh, yeah, yeah, I'm, I'm one of those, I'm sorry.

• 7:39Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 7:39Adam Friedland?

I'm Jewish. Uh, yeah, we could, uh, we could toast. This is, uh. Um, yeah, I, I mean, I just.

• 7:47Speaker 03

You wanna do a toast with me, bro?

• 7:48Adam Friedland?

Of course, I'm, these are the mugs, these are the Adam Friedland Show mugs, you can take one back to Los Angeles.

• 7:53Speaker 03

  I can?

• 7:54Adam Friedland?

  Of course.

• 7:55Speaker 03

  Say less.

• 7:55Adam Friedland?

What, you're excited mostly about the mug, this is 42, this is what, uh, this is one of the.

• 8:01Speaker 03

I'm excited about the mug and the 42 though, bro, but I fuck with the mug.

• 8:04Adam Friedland?

Yeah, am I, is, am I the first?

• 8:06Speaker 03

  I'll be really.

• 8:07Adam Friedland?

Am I the first Jewish guy that's interviewed you?

• 8:09Speaker 03

  I believe so.

• 8:10Adam Friedland?

That feels great. That feels great.

• 8:13Speaker 03

If you're not the first, you're definitely the coolest.

• 8:14Adam Friedland?

I'm gonna put, well, I mean, that's not hard. Um, I'm the first, am I the first 38-year-old, uh, Jewish guy?

• 8:21Speaker 03

  Probably so.

• 8:22Adam Friedland?

I do a bunch of research for the interviews, and like, you know, I'm a, as a Jewish boy, like, full disclosure, like, we all grew up listening to hip-hop and then.

• 8:31Speaker 03

You gotta go G-Fezos too, though, like.

• 8:33Adam Friedland?

  Exactly.

• 8:34Speaker 03

You gotta put a pair of G-Fezos, do you own a pair, do you own a pair?

• 8:36Adam Friedland?

I was gonna get a pair of Truys for this. I was gonna, yeah.

• 8:41Speaker 03

You could've, you should've got the, the Chief Keef collab.

• 8:43Adam Friedland?

I should've got, yeah, and a huge, uh, uh, polo horse.

• 8:47Speaker 03

That's, that's how we used to dress in high school, polo, big Argentina, or like, the country polo, whichever one, like, Italy or some shit. True religious, white ones, we called them G-Fezos.

• 8:57Adam Friedland?

Who was it, what Keith invented that, or who put that on?

• 9:01Speaker 03

Um, it was always like the Chicago culture of how to dress, but. I would say, yeah, Sosa definitely like, you know, he was like one of the first, well, not one of the first, he was the first like teenager that was like rich, so he was having like flavors of this shit and he, it was cool to dress that way.

• 9:18Adam Friedland?

Yeah, yeah. Next time you come on the show, this is a part one, I will have full Truie, uh, jean jacket.

• 9:24Speaker 03

I need to see this shit.

• 9:25Adam Friedland?

I will have the Canadian tuxedo.

• 9:26Speaker 03

  I gotta see it.

• 9:27Adam Friedland?

I will have it. And I'll have like a, a belt buckle and I'll take a picture like this.

• 9:32Speaker 03

  I gotta see it.

• 9:33Adam Friedland?

  Showing the bu- the buckle.

• 9:34Speaker 03

What buckle though? You gotta have like a Ferragamo belt buckle, that's who we used to wear.

• 9:37Adam Friedland?

  A Ferricon belt buckle.

• 9:38Speaker 03

  Ferragamo.

• 9:39Adam Friedland?

Ferricon, uh, the Reverend, uh, Professor A.

• 9:41Speaker 03

Oh, Hermes, Hermes, that's the, that's the buckle.

• 9:44Adam Friedland?

Get the H, get the H. You were a Hoopa grown up?

• 9:46Speaker 03

  Yep, a little.

• 9:47Adam Friedland?

  Were you nice?

• 9:48Speaker 03

  A little.

• 9:49Adam Friedland?

  You were a combo guard?

• 9:50Speaker 03

  Yep.

• 9:52Adam Friedland?

  You were a two?

• 9:53Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 9:53Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 9:54Speaker 03

  One, two, yeah.

• 9:54Adam Friedland?

  You had court vision though?

• 9:56Speaker 03

Yeah. I was like, any team I play on, I'm like the Draymond Green of that team.

• 10:02Adam Friedland?

Vi- like punching guys in the penis?

• 10:05Speaker 03

  The energy.

• 10:06Adam Friedland?

What do you mean? Like, what? What is it? You're not the Dray- don't say that.

• 10:10Speaker 03

The aggression, like for real, like Dray- Draymond is a key component on his team or any team we go to.

• 10:20Adam Friedland?

I was talking to Blake Griffin.

• 10:21Speaker 03

I'm gonna tell you the truth, no, no, like, I don't like, you gotta say pause when you say this, you feel what I'm saying, like?

• 10:27Adam Friedland?

  Oh, absolutely.

• 10:28Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 10:29Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 10:29Speaker 03

So my little brother, right, he, he played basketball too, he was better than me.

• 10:34Adam Friedland?

  Oh, sorry, wrong time.

• 10:35Speaker 03

He was better than me, yeah. But he got like a trick, well, like he got from his cousin, pause, I swear, like it was.

• 10:40Adam Friedland?

  A trick.

• 10:41Speaker 03

They used to get stick, like if somebody go for the layup, no homo, you like, they used to like swap him on the shit, like hit him on the balls. Like swap him in the ball. Then they could lose the ball, now you got a free steal if they don't call it, like. They used to really do that. That's some Draymond shit though, like.

• 10:55Adam Friedland?

  Absolutely.

• 10:56Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 10:56Adam Friedland?

  I think it's dishonorable. I think that's a.

• 10:58Speaker 03

  That's very dishonorable.

• 10:59Adam Friedland?

I think it's a, Israeli style of play.

• 11:01Speaker 03

In sixth grade, seventh grade, that was like a way to get a quick steal, nigga.

• 11:05Adam Friedland?

Nut tapping was a big thing in sixth grade.

• 11:08Speaker 03

Yeah, and niggas done gotten fights for that shit too, though.

• 11:10Adam Friedland?

I wouldn't fight a guy if he nut tapped me while I was, while I was just post, you're doing a poster on him, which I've done so many, I've posted. Have you ever, you, you V Mmed? Have you dunked? Have you dunked? Yeah.

• 11:24Speaker 03

Nine feet. I got two left feet though, bro, I'ma be honest. I never was athletic, you feel what I'm saying?

• 11:29Adam Friedland?

There's a video of Derrick Rose doing Chicago footwork.

• 11:32Speaker 03

  No, it's not.

• 11:32Adam Friedland?

When he was in high school.

• 11:33Speaker 03

  No, it's not.

• 11:34Adam Friedland?

Someone get my cellphone. It's the best video I've ever seen. Actually, someone get my cellphone.

• 11:39Speaker 03

Anybody ever seen that video? Anybody?

• 11:41Adam Friedland?

  Please, please.

• 11:42Speaker 03

  You ain't see that video.

• 11:44Adam Friedland?

I'm getting it right now, it's actually pissing me off.

• 11:46Speaker 03

  I need to see it.

• 11:47Adam Friedland?

  You know nothing of Chicago.

• 11:48Speaker 03

You got these shots just in here too.

• 11:50Adam Friedland?

  You know nothing of Chicago.

• 11:52Speaker 03

Yeah, I don't know about that.

• 11:53Adam Friedland?

Okay, we'll do the shots and watch the... It's my favorite video on YouTube. Where's my phone?

• 11:59Speaker 03

My favorite thing of Derrick Rose was the picture of him in the party throwing the rakes up.

• 12:05Adam Friedland?

  I can't believe it.

• 12:07Speaker 03

  Rapper problems, man.

• 12:09Adam Friedland?

  You know nothing of Chicago.

• 12:12Adam Friedland?

No, this is the better one because this is "I Just Died in Your Arms."

• 12:15Speaker 03

Right. Here, let me see this shit.

• 12:19Adam Friedland?

  He's unbelievable.

• 12:24Speaker 03

Man, that's Derrick Rose? No, it's not. That's not Derrick Rose, bro.

• 12:27Adam Friedland?

  That's him.

• 12:28Speaker 03

  That's not fucking Derrick Rose.

• 12:29Adam Friedland?

  You're a liar.

• 12:32Speaker 03

  Man, that's Derrick Rose?

• 12:33Adam Friedland?

Yeah, look how incredible he is.

• 12:36Speaker 03

I don't want Derrick Rose here, Will, baby. Man, that's Derrick Rose, wait.

• 12:41Speaker 03

Bro, that's not Derrick Rose, bro.

• 12:42Adam Friedland?

  I promise you.

• 12:44Speaker 03

Oh shit, Derrick Rose, head them bitches.

• 12:48Speaker 03

Nah, Derrick Rose, head them bitches for real.

• 12:54Adam Friedland?

There's more famous people in there?

• 12:55Speaker 03

Nah, yeah, like, Chicago, like, if you knew how to footwork, you was the dead guy. He did 106 to Park, he had a Motorola commercial off of footwork.

• 13:04Adam Friedland?

Are we gonna do this? What's it, give a toast?

• 13:08Speaker 03

  Lachaim.

• 13:09Adam Friedland?

  Lachaim, my man.

• 13:14Adam Friedland?

Ah, drink it. That is really good. That is really good. I literally did the same thing with Kiss. So I kinda wanna avoid in talking about, I just wanna talk to you about yourself. I don't wanna like give a taxonomy of Chicago.

• 13:28Speaker 03

  Right.

• 13:29Adam Friedland?

You know, like, I guess I started like, you know, your family, you know, who your parents were, your siblings, and like, did your parents play music in the house? Like, what was the first music you heard?

• 13:41Speaker 03

My mom, she listened to a lot of music. Like, she played hot house music. I think that's why I'm so well-rounded, 'cause my mom didn't listen to rap growing up.

• 13:50Adam Friedland?

  Like Frankie Knuckles?

• 13:52Speaker 03

  Uh, Frankie Beverly.

• 13:54Adam Friedland?

  Really? Chicago House.

• 13:56Speaker 03

My mother's favorite artist is like Seal. She played a lot of Shava Ranks and shit like that. Those were the artists, like, Sharon.

• 14:03Adam Friedland?

Have you seen a picture of Shada 2025?

• 14:06Speaker 03

  No.

• 14:06Adam Friedland?

  She's in 11 still.

• 14:08Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 14:08Adam Friedland?

  She looks perfect.

• 14:09Speaker 03

  I bet.

• 14:09Adam Friedland?

She's one of the most, she's incredible.

• 14:11Speaker 03

Yeah, Shada is. I was just about to say that to her. I was gonna say, well, she's really good.

• 14:15Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yes.

• 14:19Speaker 03

My mic? Let me just take my shirt off?

• 14:21Adam Friedland?

  You missed all of that?

• 14:22Speaker 04

No, it's fine. It's her coming in and out.

• 14:24Speaker 03

Let me take off my shirt?

• 14:25Adam Friedland?

  No, come on, pause.

• 14:27Speaker 03

  No, let's just do this.

• 14:27Adam Friedland?

  That's crazy.

• 14:28Speaker 03

  Let's just do this.

• 14:29Adam Friedland?

Thomas, you're sexually harassing our guest. Herb, you're wearing too much jewelry.

• 14:35Speaker 03

  I really kept it light.

• 14:36Adam Friedland?

I've got, this is a light day?

• 14:39Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 14:39Adam Friedland?

Does it hurt your neck ever to wear too much jewelry?

• 14:42Speaker 03

With the charms, when I got like, when I used to wear a lot of charms. I used to wear like four charms at one time. It'd hurt your neck.

• 14:48Adam Friedland?

  It's impractical.

• 14:49Speaker 03

'Cause they'd drag it down, you'd have like, you know, a little, like, it's pinching the back of your neck and shit.

• 14:54Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, really.

• 14:55Speaker 03

These like, these, I could wear these.

• 14:57Adam Friedland?

I never, I never really wear jewelry. It's not my thing. We could go maybe to just fuck it up.

• 15:04Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 15:04Adam Friedland?

You know, where do you go? Where do you go? Who's your guy?

• 15:08Speaker 03

  Um.

• 15:08Adam Friedland?

  The Icebox?

• 15:10Speaker 03

I got, like, see me? I've literally bought at least one chain from every jeweler, every single jeweler.

• 15:16Adam Friedland?

  Oh, very political, very political.

• 15:18Speaker 03

  Exactly.

• 15:19Adam Friedland?

Very political, it's a Hebraic thought.

• 15:20Speaker 03

So it's like when I get in the mall, I might buy some shit from here, like this all came from Benny the Jeweler. But I've bought jewelry from Icebox, Shine, Treasures, Eliante.

• 15:30Adam Friedland?

  Cause you're nice, you're a nice guy.

• 15:32Speaker 03

You name it, man, I should show everybody love.

• 15:34Adam Friedland?

That's so nice of you. But it involves you spending a lot of money on things.

• 15:38Speaker 03

  Absolutely, fucking lootly.

• 15:39Adam Friedland?

Yeah, so that's kind of annoying.

• 15:43Adam Friedland?

I guess, so your mom listens to Chicago House, what about your dad?

• 15:45Speaker 03

My dad, he listened to like, my dad is more of a like, he like Nas and like shit like that.

• 15:53Adam Friedland?

  Golden era 93 New York.

• 15:55Speaker 03

Like Big and shit, he used to listen to a lot of like Public Enemy, KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane, he old school.

• 16:03Adam Friedland?

What do you think about like the old, you know, when it was like Jacoby Nimble, Jacoby Quick? Is that, fuck, what's that? Like, when did they start talking about?

• 16:13Speaker 03

The ones that the shapes of the hills and hills.

• 16:17Adam Friedland?

Were there guys trying to like, at a party, try to finger pop a girl to like a nursery rhyme stuff?

• 16:22Speaker 03

That's what, that's where hip hop came from, originated.

• 16:26Adam Friedland?

  And then people just?

• 16:27Speaker 03

But I listen to all that hippity-dippity shit, sometimes.

• 16:31Adam Friedland?

But it's not as cool, right? It's kind of, yeah, that's interesting you said your dad likes the east coast stuff because I feel like when your like generation of Chicago guys were like becoming well-known around the country, it was like interesting to see, oh, what does this sound like, right? You know? And like, I heard, when I first heard Chief Keef, I was like, oh, this is like, it sounds like Atlanta, like Atlanta trap music, right? But you always sounded like the guy that was more influenced by the east coast.

• 17:02Speaker 03

  Absolutely.

• 17:02Adam Friedland?

And especially like the way you rap, too.

• 17:05Speaker 03

I fell in love with like...

• 17:08Speaker 03

Kinda like, I, I mean, when I, my first like vivid memories of falling in love with hip hop was like, the first song that I used to love when I was a kid, probably like two, three years old, like, I got five, even though that's not hip, that's not east coast, but that and then the second, like, probably like ninety-eight, ninety-nine, like three, four years old, one of my favorite songs was, uh, uh, Jay-Z, What's My Name, Jigga, like, that was a song, like, those are like songs that kinda made me fall in love with hip hop as far back as I can remember. Growing up, when I started to like wanna rap and fall in love with music, it was like Jada Kiz, Joel Santana, it was all east coast shit though. Other than Wayne, other than Wayne.

• 17:49Adam Friedland?

  Other than Wayne, he's incredible.

• 17:50Speaker 03

Yeah, you told me he was friends with Jada Kiz.

• 17:52Adam Friedland?

Yeah, I'm really close, we're close.

• 17:53Speaker 03

I be hollering at Kiz too though, we talk about a lot of real shit.

• 17:55Adam Friedland?

He's a really nice guy, he's so funny too.

• 17:58Speaker 03

Kiz gave me a lot of like insight on just like how, how good I am, basically, like, you know, I'm a humble dude, but like, Kiz tell me like, I'm really that.

• 18:09Adam Friedland?

  How's that feel?

• 18:09Speaker 03

It feels amazing hearing it from somebody like him.

• 18:11Adam Friedland?

  It must feel incredible.

• 18:12Speaker 03

For sure, like, every time I have a conversation with him, it's just, he, he gave me that little boost of confidence to let me know like, I'm really one of those when it come to like emceeing, you feel me? That shit feel good.

• 18:24Adam Friedland?

Respecting your peers is incre, is like, yeah, if so, if a good comic says good set, it feels like it's money.

• 18:31Speaker 03

  Really?

• 18:32Adam Friedland?

Yeah, it feels incre, well, no, it's never happened, no one's, no, yeah, no one's ever even, no bad comic.

• 18:37Speaker 03

Can I come to one of your shows?

• 18:38Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, you'd love it.

• 18:40Speaker 03

  I'm sure I would.

• 18:41Adam Friedland?

I'm very influenced by, um, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake.

• 18:45Speaker 03

  For real?

• 18:46Adam Friedland?

  No.

• 18:46Speaker 03

  No.

• 18:47Adam Friedland?

  But I grew up, actually.

• 18:48Speaker 03

Can you, can you tell me your fa, your top three like comedians right now?

• 18:52Adam Friedland?

  Right now?

• 18:53Speaker 03

Like, growing up, what influenced you to be a comedian?

• 18:56Adam Friedland?

Um, I mean, when I was a kid, I liked like Adam Sandler a lot, yeah.

• 19:00Speaker 03

  What about Jerry Seinfeld?

• 19:02Adam Friedland?

I loved the show Seinfeld. Was I, did you grow up watching Seinfeld?

• 19:07Speaker 03

  A little bit.

• 19:07Adam Friedland?

You did? It's, what do you think?

• 19:10Speaker 03

Adam Sandler is one of my favorite comedians as well.

• 19:12Adam Friedland?

Were they like the same guy?

• 19:13Speaker 03

  Actors too.

• 19:14Adam Friedland?

I mean, he's the best. Yeah, I liked Adam Sandler. I liked, like, yeah, I liked Borat a lot when I was a-

• 19:20Speaker 03

  Borat, I, I love Borat.

• 19:21Adam Friedland?

That's the funniest movie I've ever seen.

• 19:22Speaker 03

I love Borat. I used to watch Borat with my mom all fucking time.

• 19:25Adam Friedland?

I watched with my mom too, yeah. My mom used to go like this. We went to the theater and she went like this and she said, "I'm gonna pee, I'm gonna pee, I'm gonna pee." She kept saying that. It was a very sweet thing.

• 19:33Speaker 03

Nah, I'm not gonna lie. I literally, I could call my mom right now. Like, my mom liked dark humor, so like Borat was like the shit to us growing up.

• 19:41Adam Friedland?

  You're, you're a mom's boy?

• 19:43Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 19:44Adam Friedland?

Me too. Me too, yeah. She was my favorite, yeah. We had the same sense of humor too.

• 19:49Speaker 03

Yeah, me and my mom were too, like.

• 19:50Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 19:51Speaker 03

Me and my mom kinda like, don't get me wrong, we got like a mother-son relationship, but it's kinda like a brother-sister as well. My mom is like one of my closest friends.

• 20:00Adam Friedland?

Just because we both know that she likes us better than him and she, you know, she had to settle for him, but if she had a choice, it would have been us and we're her perfect man.

• 20:09Speaker 03

Yeah. My dad used to be jealous. He used to say shit like that, like, "I wish I was G. Herbo's mom." He used to say shit like that all the time.

• 20:17Adam Friedland?

You used to, that's like, it's, that's like Freudian. That's like, yeah, it's just strictly like you're trying to like dunk on your father. I mean, it's, we have very similar upbringings.

• 20:27Speaker 03

No way, man. I don't know, I can't help it. I'm just that guy, bro.

• 20:30Adam Friedland?

He was like, you, I saw an interview with you where you said you wished he was more strict.

• 20:35Speaker 03

No, I wish he was less strict.

• 20:37Adam Friedland?

  Less strict?

• 20:38Speaker 03

Yes. But I wish he was more like, what I meant, not even strict, I wish he was more like hands-on with what I was doing early on. You feel me? Like, my dad gave me a lot of like, he was strict coming up as to how he wanted me to be, but as I started to like grow into my own personality and being a young man, he kinda like fell back and just let me like do whatever. I wish he would have been a little more hands-on with just like wanting to be involved with the shit I was doing.

• 21:05Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 21:06Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 21:06Adam Friedland?

Did, were you good at school?

• 21:09Speaker 03

  I was smart.

• 21:09Adam Friedland?

It sounds like you were smart.

• 21:10Speaker 03

Yeah, I was very smart. I was really smart, but I got in a lot of trouble though, like in school.

• 21:16Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 21:17Speaker 03

Just being a knucklehead, mischievous and shit, but I was really, really smart. I always got good grades.

• 21:22Adam Friedland?

Yeah. And did you, you graduate at high school?

• 21:25Speaker 03

I got my diploma, but I dropped out when I was like a sophomore.

• 21:28Adam Friedland?

Cause you were rich. Because you did a song with Nicki Minaj at seventeen.

• 21:33Speaker 03

I did, I did, yeah. I was making a lot of money in high school, but I was dumb. I was spending that shit, bro. I wasn't saving it.

• 21:39Adam Friedland?

Well, that's what a kid's supposed to do.

• 21:40Speaker 03

  I was fucking it up.

• 21:41Adam Friedland?

No, but you retired your mom.

• 21:43Speaker 03

  I did.

• 21:44Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 21:44Speaker 03

So like, I always, yeah, I always been like a hustler. I always made it happen, but I wasn't like.

• 21:49Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 21:49Speaker 03

I didn't have financial literacy in a way, if I must say.

• 21:53Adam Friedland?

  When I.

• 21:53Speaker 03

  Want another one?

• 21:54Adam Friedland?

Yeah, for you. This is the best day of my life. Um, when I like, like read about like what it was, because obviously, here's the thing is like, the first Chicago rapper I heard was Chief Keef, right? And Don't Like, yeah. The first, like, I remember the Don't Like video.

• 22:09Speaker 03

Were you a fan, though? I must act.

• 22:11Adam Friedland?

It, I, it blew my mind, because it's like, you know what rap is, right? For me, it was like, I, when I was a junior in high school, my Ethiopian friend.

• 22:22Speaker 03

  It's a nice shot.

• 22:22Adam Friedland?

He burned me, uh, the call and dropout. And I was like, oh, this guy's a nerd. I was like, this guy isn't like talking about like, uh, killing people.

• 22:32Speaker 03

I don't think any artist from Chicago did that. Until our era.

• 22:38Adam Friedland?

  Until your era.

• 22:39Speaker 03

Yeah, if you think about it.

• 22:40Adam Friedland?

Well, the interesting thing is that there's a documentary about Kanye. I brought it up before on the show. But like, as much as they were like, listen, you make the best beats. You like, basically made the blueprint. And, but you're like a nerd, dude. You like, you can't be a rapper. And he's like, I want to be a rapper, I want to be a rapper, I want to be a rapper. But half of it was like, a guy from Chicago can't be a rapper.

• 22:59Speaker 03

Absolutely. Before Kanye, nobody made it like, uh, cheers.

• 23:05Adam Friedland?

  Cheers, yeah.

• 23:06Speaker 03

  So like,

• 23:11Speaker 03

this is like a controversial question, like, nobody crossed over into that global superstardom in Chicago before Kanye. The biggest artist to come out of Chi- Chicago before Kanye. Was like Twister and Common, you know what I'm saying?

• 23:24Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 23:25Speaker 03

It didn't, it wasn't that national, international attention, you know what I'm saying? Like until Ye and then Sosa, but even when Ye came out, it didn't bring a spotlight to Chicago. You know, like even with Ye being Ye and the shit that he did, which was legendary, of course. But it didn't put a magnifying glass on Chicago like, oh, they got talent here. It wasn't until Sosa came out and did what he did, it was like, oh, there's talent in Chicago. Like that's when, you know, like when Sosa came out, it was a wave of artists that became superstars. Nobody became a superstar after Ye, if I'm not mistaken. Somebody could correct me if I'm wrong, until Sosa, if I'm, I believe.

• 24:05Adam Friedland?

  I think you're, I guess.

• 24:07Speaker 03

  Cause all of us like.

• 24:08Adam Friedland?

  Consequence?

• 24:09Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 24:09Adam Friedland?

J I V, I'm trying to think of the guys, the features on those early records.

• 24:13Speaker 03

  Nah, they wasn't like.

• 24:14Adam Friedland?

Yeah, he wasn't, he put his boys on though.

• 24:17Speaker 03

He definitely did, for sure, like GLC, all those guys, he definitely put his team on. But it didn't bring like, you know, like real attention to Chicago, like.

• 24:27Adam Friedland?

  Right.

• 24:27Speaker 03

  Me, Sosa, Dirk, uh.

• 24:30Adam Friedland?

You guys were still there too.

• 24:32Speaker 03

Like Chance, that's all one era, we all came up at one time. So I can't really say, it was a big gap in between that.

• 24:38Adam Friedland?

Yeah, I guess, um, I guess, yeah, it, it blew my mind. There, there've been a couple of times, cause I've like always liked rap, but like there've been a couple of times where I'm like, this is a new thing.

• 24:49Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 24:49Adam Friedland?

And it's like, when I saw Don't Like, I was like, there's no girls in this video.

• 24:54Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 24:54Adam Friedland?

I was like, there's no sluts. I was like, it's all guys?

• 24:59Speaker 03

  There's no sluts.

• 25:00Adam Friedland?

I'm like, where are the sluts? I'm like, it's supposed to be that they're, they're rich and they get, they get pussy.

• 25:06Speaker 03

  We didn't have no.

• 25:07Adam Friedland?

And there were no girls and they're not wearing shirts and they're, they're boys.

• 25:11Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 25:11Adam Friedland?

  They're just boys.

• 25:12Speaker 03

Niggas was getting pussy though, we just wasn't broadcasting it, like, I ain't gonna lie, you know what, I'm a, and from the outside looking in, I think, like if I had to think from the outside looking in, cause I can't say that, cause I was a part of it.

• 25:23Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 25:23Speaker 03

Like, I think just the world and all is seeing a hundred niggas.

• 25:30Speaker 03

Doing drugs, having guns and shit in the video, it was like

• 25:34Adam Friedland?

  And be kids.

• 25:35Speaker 03

Like, what the fuck are they doing? Yeah, to be kids, like fifteen, sixteen years old. And they're like, what the fuck is this? Like, people just couldn't believe it.

• 25:43Adam Friedland?

It was like the, have you seen City of God?

• 25:45Speaker 03

  Yeah, I love that movie.

• 25:46Adam Friedland?

It's like the little kids at the end of the movie that killed main characters.

• 25:49Speaker 03

Yeah, we was playing City of God.

• 25:51Adam Friedland?

This is, it felt like that. And I was like, where's the furniture in the apartment? It looks completely empty. I was like, what's going, where are they? But, um,

• 25:59Speaker 03

Bro, that's a Chicago shit, bro. I can't believe this shit. You're really bringing back a lot of memories by you saying it.

• 26:04Adam Friedland?

Who was like, who were the adults? Like, who were the, it was like getting you licensing deals and stuff?

• 26:10Speaker 03

There was no, like, I mean, don't get me wrong. It was the adults around, but I'm saying that like, the influence behind what we was doing, it just wasn't there. We was just like, young, like, like the city of God. Just like young badass rebel kids, just doing shit. But the few adults that we did have around played a significant role where it's like, if we didn't have those guys, shit probably would not have, like, worked or been what it was. Like,

• 26:38Adam Friedland?

  Right.

• 26:38Speaker 03

You know, like, I had guys like Mickey around, like, so had guys like Pan around and shit like that to just like, all right, let me try to, you know, organize this shit a little bit and like navigate when, you know what I'm saying? They could actually make some of it. Cause I already think we knew what we was doing. Or we really gave a fuck for real, for real. We was just like, dropping music, hey, whatever money we make is cool. We gonna put this shit back in the hood and

• 27:03Adam Friedland?

  Right.

• 27:04Speaker 03

Just thug it out for the rest of our life. I think that's what all our mindset was at the time.

• 27:09Adam Friedland?

Did you have like a notion of like who, what the audience was, right? Because it was all on, there was like Twitter, you like tweet, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I hate this guy. And then you do a YouTube video where you, you do a song about hating someone.

• 27:22Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 27:22Adam Friedland?

And then there's, it's getting millions of views. And then, but it affects your real life, right? People are getting killed.

• 27:28Speaker 03

  Absolutely.

• 27:29Adam Friedland?

You know, but like, there's an audience for it. Like, did you have a notion of like, that people were consuming it outside of Chicago? And that you were performing it?

• 27:37Speaker 03

That's the thing. So, no. Like, we did that, like, for like our neighborhood and the people in Chicago to know, like, all right, but this we own, we the guys over here in this neighborhood. We weren't thinking about like, New York and LA and what they culture was and the other fucking forty-five states in the country like. We were not thinking about that. We weren't thinking because the internet was just coming out at that time. And it's like, we weren't thinking that people gonna watch this shit in Asia and watch this shit in London and we were not thinking about none of that. We just like, alright, bet we finna put this shit out on YouTube. Because in a way, we kind of wanted the niggas we was dissing to see that shit, you see what I'm saying? Like, we wanted to make this put out on YouTube for them to see it, you feel me?

• 28:18Speaker 03

So it's like, I, me personally, I wasn't thinking about like, nobody else in the world watching this shit. I had no knowledge of that, like. We just wanted, I wanted hood fame, I swear, like, that's what I wanted, like. I wanted to be hood famous, like, I bet this herb, he from this area. This, you know what I'm saying, like, he got this area on lock type shit, like. And niggas wanted, wanted bitches too, though, like.

• 28:40Adam Friedland?

And girls liked it if you had a big song.

• 28:42Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 28:42Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 28:43Speaker 03

Well, girls liked it if you was just in the streets for real.

• 28:45Adam Friedland?

If you got shot. Girls liked it?

• 28:48Speaker 03

  Or if you was shooting.

• 28:50Adam Friedland?

Girls like that? I did that wrong. I should have been shooting.

• 28:54Speaker 03

Yeah, I think they respect the shooter.

• 28:56Adam Friedland?

What happens if you're born, like, like on the east side where you're from? And you're a nerd, you're just a fucking nerd. Like, what do you do? What if you suck at basketball, you can't rap?

• 29:07Speaker 03

  Great question.

• 29:07Adam Friedland?

What if you're bad at school? You're not even, can't even get into Harvard? You're like.

• 29:11Speaker 03

  A nerd and dumb?

• 29:13Adam Friedland?

  Ugly, small dick.

• 29:17Adam Friedland?

  What do you do?

• 29:19Speaker 03

Damn, that's a good question. What do you do?

• 29:20Adam Friedland?

What are you, like, what are you supposed to do?

• 29:23Speaker 03

Ah, fuck, I was just about to say that.

• 29:25Adam Friedland?

  That sucks.

• 29:26Speaker 03

But, you can't, no, you can't say that because the, the world is sensitive about that kind of stuff.

• 29:31Adam Friedland?

You can say it, we can say it. On YouTube.

• 29:35Speaker 03

He could say it, he could say it. We're here with him, we hanging with him right now. But no, don't, don't kill yourself because you got a small pee pee. Don't do, don't do that.

• 29:42Adam Friedland?

No, I don't have, I'm not talking about me.

• 29:44Speaker 03

It's twenty twenty-five, they got surgeries and all type of shit, you can say your money up, you feel what I'm saying?

• 29:49Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 29:49Speaker 03

  Do something like that.

• 29:50Adam Friedland?

At least I have my hair, you know, I'm chilling.

• 29:52Speaker 03

Yeah, for sure. Can I say something, though, bro? You remind me of the actor. Have anybody ever told you you looked like this guy? I don't know his name. He played in The Fly?

• 30:01Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 30:02Speaker 03

You look just like him, bro.

• 30:04Adam Friedland?

You know exactly, uh, Jaden could have said that to me, too.

• 30:06Speaker 03

  He did?

• 30:06Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 30:07Speaker 03

  That's crazy.

• 30:08Adam Friedland?

He literally said the same, he said the guy, he literally said the same movie.

• 30:12Speaker 03

  The Fly?

• 30:13Adam Friedland?

  The Fly.

• 30:13Speaker 03

  That's crazy.

• 30:16Adam Friedland?

Uh, fuck, there had to be some white GDs and BDs.

• 33:28Adam Friedland?

  Really?

• 33:29Speaker 03

  It gotta be.

• 33:30Adam Friedland?

  How'd he get in?

• 33:31Speaker 03

For sure. When you white, you gotta do some crazy shit.

• 33:34Adam Friedland?

Yeah, that's like the Chappelle joke. Yeah, yeah.

• 33:36Speaker 03

When you white, you gotta do the most gangster shit ever.

• 33:38Adam Friedland?

You have to be a psychopath.

• 33:39Speaker 03

Yeah, you gotta, go outside and do some stupid shit.

• 33:43Adam Friedland?

Be like Charles Manson or something, yeah.

• 33:45Speaker 03

Yeah, you gotta be like that, for sure. But it was some, I'm sure it was some white GDs and BDs and shit.

• 33:51Adam Friedland?

Were people's parents in, like, like informing like their decisions like in that way? Like, I know that...

• 33:58Speaker 03

A lot of it was influenced by people's parents.

• 34:00Adam Friedland?

  Dirk's dad was, was involved?

• 34:01Speaker 03

Exactly. A lot, a lot of people's parents was already in the streets, like.

• 34:04Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 34:05Speaker 03

These gangs didn't come out, like, we didn't make this shit up. This shit was going on for 40 years before us.

• 34:12Adam Friedland?

And did it, it stem from the Black Panthers, like, being broken up?

• 34:15Speaker 03

A lot of it, like, yeah, like, so like, a lot of those... Gangs stemmed from the Black Panthers being broken up. And then people had to form like, you know, gangs in their neighborhoods to protection. Like, gangs really started like on some positive shit, like to protect the neighborhood. To, you know what I'm saying, like, make sure the kids get safe going to school. Like, they had like free breakfast, free food programs and stuff like that.

• 34:39Adam Friedland?

  Community organization.

• 34:39Speaker 03

Yeah, it was a real community organization to keep people safe. So like, the police couldn't come in and just whoop other people's ass or other like, people from other neighborhoods like with racism and shit like, that's how it started. But I think when, you know, poverty shit like that, when, when people started to realize like drug, cause, and I'm being completely honest, like this is a serious subject. Because like, we come from poverty-struck neighborhoods. So a lot of people didn't, we didn't have no resources to like take care of ourselves and make money. So when drugs got involved and people started selling drugs, that's when like the war happened. Cause territory, you need certain territory to sell drugs, certain shit like that, like. It was just really just a source of, like, a source of income for a lot of people.

• 35:23Speaker 03

But, you know, the Black, we didn't know what those drugs was gonna do to us, like. People started doing heroin and thinking it was just a party drug and shit like that. Until you strung out and you fucked up. When crack hit the streets, it was just like a party drug, an experiment and shit like that.

• 35:36Adam Friedland?

And then it just changed everything.

• 35:39Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 35:40Adam Friedland?

They're like, they had crack and then they made.

• 35:43Speaker 03

No bullshit. That's how it happened, bro, like for real, bro, like, no funny shit, like. We really need a movie that talk about that type of shit in Chicago. Like what the gang culture was, how it was started, and what drugs like did to the community. Cause people was only just trying to take care of theyself, there wasn't no job.

• 36:01Adam Friedland?

Spike made that movie about Fred Hampton, right?

• 36:03Speaker 03

Mm-hmm, the Black Panther movie. That was a great movie too.

• 36:06Adam Friedland?

  He was so young, dude.

• 36:07Speaker 03

  I was in the soundtrack.

• 36:08Adam Friedland?

  You were in the soundtrack?

• 36:09Speaker 03

  For that movie, yeah.

• 36:10Adam Friedland?

  Oh, congratulations.

• 36:11Speaker 03

  Thanks.

• 36:11Adam Friedland?

  Did you meet Spike?

• 36:12Speaker 03

  I've never met Spike.

• 36:13Adam Friedland?

  He lives in my neighborhood.

• 36:14Speaker 03

  He do?

• 36:15Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 36:15Speaker 03

  Oh, you're rich as fuck.

• 36:16Adam Friedland?

No, no, he lives in the same neighborhood that, well, it's like, yeah, it's a nice.

• 36:21Speaker 03

Bro, you're rich, bro, just say it. It's okay to say you're rich as fuck.

• 36:24Adam Friedland?

I'm not rich. Come on, bro. How, no, I'm not, you're rich. You have like, uh, you have like Jewish style responsible businesses. That's the other interesting thing about you, you guys, right? And I think, is it maybe because you guys grew up so fast, right?

• 36:39Speaker 03

  Uh huh.

• 36:40Adam Friedland?

Like, you smoked weed at six?

• 36:42Speaker 03

  Yeah. How you look?

• 36:45Adam Friedland?

  I researched.

• 36:45Speaker 03

  Yeah, I did.

• 36:46Adam Friedland?

  You smoked weed at six?

• 36:47Speaker 03

  Yeah. Hell, yeah.

• 36:48Adam Friedland?

  Thirteen.

• 36:49Speaker 03

  Thirteen, your first time?

• 36:50Adam Friedland?

Yeah, dude, fucking, the, the Jews, we loved.

• 36:53Speaker 03

What age do you have your bar mitzvah?

• 36:55Adam Friedland?

  Thirteen.

• 36:56Speaker 03

Oh, okay. You a man then, technically.

• 36:58Adam Friedland?

Well, that was our thing, like, the Jewish lads, we loved, we loved Piff.

• 37:03Speaker 03

  Uh huh.

• 37:03Adam Friedland?

Yeah. And then I bonded with the Mexicans in high school because they also loved, they like mota.

• 37:08Speaker 03

  Yeah, mota, mota, mota.

• 37:10Adam Friedland?

And they loved, uh, they also loved the Smiths and Morrissey. Do you know?

• 37:14Speaker 03

  What's that?

• 37:15Adam Friedland?

  It's this band from England.

• 37:16Speaker 03

  Uh huh.

• 37:17Adam Friedland?

And they have this, the lead singer is gay, or I think, yeah, he's, he's gay, right? It's this guy Morrissey? And they're like, but the Mexicans are like particularly into Morrissey.

• 37:27Speaker 03

  Right.

• 37:27Adam Friedland?

But they're also homophobic. And I remember I told one of them, I was like, it's weird that you, I mean, I love the Smiths too. They're like, Adam, you're like an emo, right? And I was like, the kinda, not really, no, not emo. But they're like, you like the Smiths, Los Smiths? And I was like, yeah. And I was like, uh, and then you fuck with Morrissey? And I was like, that's, it's, it's weird because he's like gay, like you guys like him. And he's like, how the, that's some fucked up shit to say about Morrissey. They have no, they had no concept of the fact that, that it was a gay guy. But they, the lyrics have like pasión.

• 37:55Speaker 03

Bro, what the fuck, bro? You got me.

• 37:58Adam Friedland?

Chicago, Chicago has a lot of Mexicans too, right?

• 38:01Speaker 03

  A lot.

• 38:01Adam Friedland?

I grew up in the west coast of the, we, I love.

• 38:04Speaker 03

Like the third largest like, um, like Mexican population in the US. I think it's LA.

• 38:10Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, LA, LA.

• 38:11Speaker 03

Yeah, LA, then maybe Texas, then Chicago.

• 38:13Adam Friedland?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, yeah, they're great guys.

• 38:17Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 38:17Adam Friedland?

I, I just, one thing I was wondering when I was like researching you and growing up, I was like. Like, if you guys wanna do crime, I don't know. This is the first thing that came up to, I don't know. Far be it from me to tell you lads how to do your job. But like, you know, like, I dated a girl from Lake Forest. You could have stolen so much crap up there.

• 38:38Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 38:39Adam Friedland?

You were just stealing from other people in your neighborhood.

• 38:41Speaker 03

  And they ain't have shit.

• 38:42Adam Friedland?

And these are like, these Jewish people up there, you could have taken anything you want.

• 38:45Speaker 03

They policing is different, like, it's hard to take some shit out there and get back.

• 38:51Adam Friedland?

It's kinda two different cities a little bit.

• 38:53Speaker 03

Cause if you steal some shit in Chicago, they probably let you out the next day. You steal some shit in Evanston, you fuck around and go do five to 10.

• 39:00Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 39:00Speaker 03

Cause them people care a lot more, like, it's different. Like, they don't care about us stealing each other's shit. They like, oh yeah, go ahead, go steal some more.

• 39:07Adam Friedland?

Those people cannot protect their crap.

• 39:10Speaker 03

They can't protect it, but if you get caught, God forbid, you get caught, your ass is going under the gym.

• 39:16Adam Friedland?

I'm just telling you guys, if you're a kid in Chicago, go up there, they can't do anything. They're these, they're some of the weakest Jewish people I've ever.

• 39:26Speaker 05

  Hey, what the fuck, bro?

• 39:29Speaker 03

  Like, what?

• 39:30Adam Friedland?

  Anyway, I, um.

• 39:32Speaker 03

  I need another drink.

• 39:34Adam Friedland?

  Let's talk about rap.

• 39:34Speaker 03

This shit is too entertaining right now.

• 39:36Adam Friedland?

Let's talk about rapping, like, when did you realize you were good at rapping?

• 39:39Speaker 03

Uh, I've been good at rapping all my life, bro, I'm not even being funny.

• 39:43Adam Friedland?

  You just knew.

• 39:44Speaker 03

Yeah, I've always been good at rapping. I started taking it serious at like 14, but, um.

• 39:49Adam Friedland?

And you wanted to be like Meek?

• 39:50Speaker 03

I knew how to, yeah, I did. I wanted to be like, I wanted to be like Wayne and Joel's first. First, and then I wanted to be like Meek. I wanted, I started looking up to Meek when I was like 16, maybe.

• 40:02Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 40:02Speaker 03

I started looking up to Wayne and Joel's when I was like 10, 11.

• 40:06Adam Friedland?

  Are you friends with Meek?

• 40:07Speaker 03

Yeah, hell yeah, that's my guy.

• 40:08Adam Friedland?

He was having a rough one.

• 40:09Speaker 03

  That's my dog.

• 40:10Adam Friedland?

He was getting, people were being mean to him last year.

• 40:12Speaker 03

Yeah, but, see, niggas like us, bro, we always overcome that adversity. And you gotta think, when you at the top, there's nothing else to do but somebody to throw stones to try to pull you down.

• 40:22Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 40:22Speaker 03

Pull you off your square. And Cuz understand that better than anybody, you know, and he built for that shit, so. Niggas like us, he lean towards it, like, you know what I'm saying? They love you today, they hate you tomorrow, and then they love you again. So that's exactly what went on with Bro for sure. But like, that shit, that's happened to me before as well. And I'm sure it's gonna continue to happen as long as I stay in this game.

• 40:40Adam Friedland?

  What, free cofs?

• 40:41Speaker 03

  Fuck no.

• 40:42Adam Friedland?

What are you talking about? What do you mean that's happened to me?

• 40:45Speaker 03

People trying to pull you down.

• 40:47Adam Friedland?

What are you, oh, people trying to hate? Yeah, yeah.

• 40:49Speaker 03

Trying to pull you off the top of your shit, bro.

• 40:51Adam Friedland?

Oh, of course, that happens to me all the time, yeah.

• 40:52Speaker 03

Yeah, bro, Cuz a real nigga, bro. We know Cuz won't depart of none of that shit, bro. Cuz ain't had nothing to do with it.

• 40:58Adam Friedland?

Would you collab with, now, if he's, if he walks, would you collab with Diddy?

• 41:02Speaker 03

Yeah, I fuck with him, man, free Diddy.

• 41:04Adam Friedland?

Would you collab with, um, Robert Kelly?

• 41:09Speaker 03

I'll collab with Unc any day of the week.

• 41:11Adam Friedland?

He's kind of, you think if society is just like...

• 41:14Speaker 03

I'm from Chicago, man, I love R. Kelly.

• 41:16Adam Friedland?

If all of the victims are like, we forgive him, he's such a, he's, if society is like, we need, he's a gen- this genius back. Okay, I shouldn't say, I'm gonna get in trouble, right? I just watched Trapped in the Closet for the first time in a while, and I'm like, this is a, this is a work of genius.

• 41:33Speaker 03

Yeah, it is, it's a super work of genius, you have to be a genius.

• 41:36Adam Friedland?

This man is a genius. I watched that, and then I watched it with, he does a director's commentary, and he's in the theater, and, uh, and then the movie's playing.

• 41:46Speaker 03

  He directed that himself?

• 41:47Adam Friedland?

Yeah, of course, he's a genius. He's no tour. He's like, uh, he's, he's the greatest filmmaker of all time. But, uh, he's watching it, and then the opening shot is like a skyline of Chicago, and he turns, he turns back. He's like in a director's chair, he turns back, he's like, I put this in because I wanted people to know it's in Chicago. That's, that's, that's the kind of...

• 42:07Speaker 03

Kills, man, Unc, that guy, I don't like, see, see, me personally, I be having to watch what I say and comment and speak on certain shit, even if I'm making sense, cuz everything I do like to go viral, so it's like, cancel culture is a bitch, so...

• 42:21Adam Friedland?

Would you collab with Woody Allen?

• 42:23Speaker 03

Who the fuck is Woody Allen?

• 42:26Speaker 03

Who was that, who was with the other?

• 42:28Adam Friedland?

Innocent also, just an innocent guy.

• 42:31Speaker 03

Yeah, I don't know, man, I feel like, you know.

• 42:33Adam Friedland?

You should, you should watch his movies.

• 42:34Speaker 03

I try to stay out, like, see me, I don't really.

• 42:36Adam Friedland?

No, he's, come on, he's antisemitism, whatever they did. What they're saying about it.

• 42:40Speaker 03

But I'm just saying, me, I be in my own little bubble, so like, the shit that be on the internet, I don't read it. I don't really be knowing what's going on.

• 42:47Adam Friedland?

Rapper shouldn't have to know what's going on.

• 42:50Speaker 03

I try not to know to a certain extent.

• 42:52Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 42:52Speaker 03

So I could be confident in my answer when I tell them I do not know, like. So I don't have to comment on certain shit, like, I do that intentionally, like, I try not to know shit.

• 43:02Adam Friedland?

So you, like, I guess, like, I want to go back to the point of, like, how, like, your guys' stuff was being consumed. Because you guys were like fourteen, fifteen, right? You were like growing up in this incredibly violent environment, right? And then there was an audience that was like consuming it as, as entertainment and media, right? And like, I just want to like, you, you were saying that you're like not, like, you weren't aware of that at the time. You guys were just in that environment, right? But like, how aware of, are you now of like the, the, like cottage industry surrounding, like, your guys' lives as, as children?

• 43:43Speaker 03

I'm very aware, man, because for one, I, I could have tricked myself, like, out of everything that I have now. Like, tricked myself out of my freedom, out of my life. And, you know, by the grace of God, that I actually just, you know, always been a critical thinker and made the right decisions at certain times where I'm here today. Because like, that's why I'm, I'm big on like talking to the youth and talking to the generation under me. Where it's like, you know, this shit not really promised. You gotta really like sacrifice and dedicate a lot of your time and energy into making it out, you know? Like, don't feed into the shit that we've known all our lives.

• 44:25Adam Friedland?

You feel an obligation in that way?

• 44:27Speaker 03

In a way, yes, because I know my role and, you know what I'm saying, what the culture, or drill culture was in me being an artist. It influenced a lot of kids to do what they seen me doing. So I want them to know, like, alright, okay, I come from that, but I've always had aspirations to. Get away from it, even when I didn't understand like, like, like how we just said, I didn't know that the world was watching me. I didn't know that I would really become a superstar, but I always wanted more for myself. No matter what it was, no matter if I was gonna be a rapper, try to go to the NBA, or even if I would have been in the fucking streets selling drugs, I always would have felt like I needed an exit plan to not be in that shit, you feel what I'm saying?

• 45:08Speaker 03

So with that being said, like, like I was saying earlier, like, I knew how to rap all my life, bro. I didn't, like, I could have been trying to be a rapper when I was six, seven years old, my son age. Like, my brother tell you, I always knew how to like,

• 45:21Adam Friedland?

  That's your brother?

• 45:21Speaker 03

Play with words. Yeah, my brother in the crowd.

• 45:22Adam Friedland?

  Hey, man.

• 45:23Speaker 03

  Right there. Like,

• 45:24Adam Friedland?

  He's a great guy.

• 45:25Speaker 03

I always knew how to like, play with words and like freestyle and joke around the house and be funny and shit like that. Like, I always knew how to do that, but that wasn't what I was trying to do. Like, I didn't, like, know I wanted to be a rapper for real until I was like fifteen years old. At that point, I was like, kinda like a grown man. Like, I was already in the streets, already like gang banging and shit like that and getting into trouble. Like, I was shot when I was sixteen years old, so you gotta think about it, yeah.

• 45:50Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, I know.

• 45:51Speaker 03

At sixteen, people wanted to really, literally kill me.

• 45:53Adam Friedland?

And then you dropped the video after?

• 45:55Speaker 03

Yeah, I came outside, the next day, I ain't no pussy.

• 45:57Adam Friedland?

Yeah. That's, does it hurt really bad?

• 46:01Speaker 03

  It burned.

• 46:02Adam Friedland?

When's the first time you shot a bullet?

• 46:04Speaker 03

  I shot a bullet?

• 46:05Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 46:07Speaker 03

  Fuck, that's a great question.

• 46:08Adam Friedland?

It's a very weird way to ask it, but yeah.

• 46:10Speaker 03

  Probably like, probably like,

• 46:14Speaker 03

  like twelve, thirteen.

• 46:15Adam Friedland?

  Oh my god.

• 46:15Speaker 03

We used to shoot, uh, shoot at cans and shit in the back of my uncle's house.

• 46:20Adam Friedland?

  It's too loud, isn't it?

• 46:21Speaker 03

You remember we used to shoot at the cans and the bottles and shit in the back of the crib?

• 46:24Adam Friedland?

  Is that your little brother?

• 46:25Speaker 03

It's my big brother, he five years old.

• 46:27Adam Friedland?

It's his fault that you let him, you let him do that?

• 46:31Adam Friedland?

No, it's not his fault. He's a great guy. You raised him right.

• 46:34Speaker 03

Nah, we just like shoot at like cans and shit, trying to see if we hit aim and shit.

• 46:39Adam Friedland?

Yeah, yeah. It's just, I, I did it once. I went to a range, cause I was like, I have to protect my, my

• 46:44Speaker 03

My first time ever grabbing a gun, I was like five. My dad let me grab his pistol when I was a kid.

• 46:49Adam Friedland?

Your dad let you at five?

• 46:51Speaker 03

  I mean, other kid, other,

• 46:53Adam Friedland?

You shouldn't have done that, dad.

• 46:54Speaker 03

These cu- these kids in fucking Texas or wherever the fuck they at, they fathers let them go play with rifles and shit at five years old and doing tactical shooting ranges.

• 47:04Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 47:05Speaker 03

Why my dad can't show me? My dad a bad dad, cause he get put a gun in my hand?

• 47:08Adam Friedland?

  Would you let your kid?

• 47:10Speaker 03

  Hell yeah.

• 47:11Adam Friedland?

If it's in a safe environment.

• 47:12Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 47:12Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 47:13Speaker 03

I've already put a gun in your son's hand before. He need to know what a gun is. Like, it's dangerous. Don't play with these. No sign seven, he already, I didn't already put a gun in his hand before.

• 47:22Adam Friedland?

It's just, it's very loud, you know? Yeah, it's just a little loud.

• 47:25Speaker 03

It's dangerous. It's not a toy. You pick it up. You better know what you're doing. If you're pointing at somebody, you better be willing to kill him. All of that. You gotta talk to your kids like that, so they know it's not nothing to play with. And you know, you gotta, like me, I believe in like protecting the fort. You gotta protect the house, protect your family, and know that, you know, like, that's our job as a man. You know what I'm saying? I'm not telling my son to go be a gangster and go shoot nobody, but a gun is just a tool. It's only as strong as the person who's holding it.

• 47:51Adam Friedland?

I would do hand-to-hand combat. It's more honorable.

• 47:53Speaker 03

Yeah, I mean, that too, though. We know how to kick ass, too.

• 47:57Adam Friedland?

  No, I was, I mean, I, no.

• 47:59Speaker 03

You mean, hand-to-hand combat, like kicking ass?

• 48:01Adam Friedland?

  No, yeah, I mean, I've never, I've never, I haven't been in a fight.

• 48:03Speaker 03

You never been to fight, ever?

• 48:04Adam Friedland?

Since like my cousin raised my, uh, my PlayStation memory card.

• 48:09Speaker 03

My mom has never been in a fight either. My mom has never been in a, of like an actual fight with anybody outside of the household, besides like a cousin and a sister or something.

• 48:17Adam Friedland?

There has to be a guy in BD or GD who's just lost every single fight. Statistically speaking, there's a guy that's like oh for like three hundred and fifty.

• 48:26Speaker 03

  For sure.

• 48:27Adam Friedland?

Yeah, and he's like, I'm the guy that gets beat up when, when there's a fight.

• 48:31Speaker 03

  Yeah, I'm sure it is.

• 48:32Adam Friedland?

That's a drag, right? Being the worst at fighting in Chicago.

• 48:37Speaker 03

I don't judge a book by its cover. I feel like you know how to fight.

• 48:40Adam Friedland?

I got funny, because I hit puberty late, so I had to like, to be survive.

• 48:45Speaker 03

The funny guy don't get whooped. The funny guy always good.

• 48:47Adam Friedland?

To survive, I had to like, I had to get funny, because I was like, first of all, I was like, what am I gonna do? These, because, because of puberty, right? Some kids are like forty-five years old, and you're like, you're six, you look six years old. And I'm like, what am I, this, we're the same age?

• 49:03Speaker 03

I was funny too, though. Like, I was a funny guy.

• 49:05Adam Friedland?

That's how I got out of trouble, too, when I got in trouble with my parents. I made jokes, especially with my mom.

• 49:10Speaker 03

I did the same shit, bro, like, still. Even at thirty, I still joked to get out of trouble with my mom. That's how I was able to drop out of school. That's how I was able to do a lot of shit, because I was funny and everybody liked me.

• 49:22Adam Friedland?

You dropped, you had bars? You, you dropped, you were funny? Someone's sleeping?

• 49:25Speaker 03

  What the fuck?

• 49:27Adam Friedland?

  Your friend is sleeping.

• 49:30Speaker 03

To, to his, to his excuse.

• 49:32Adam Friedland?

What was it? That's your security guard? He can't be sleeping on the job?

• 49:35Speaker 03

Yeah, right, right. That's fucked up, right? If you wanted to decide to just do some shit to me, he's sleeping, he can't even protect you.

• 49:41Adam Friedland?

I would never do anything to you.

• 49:43Speaker 03

To his defense, I must say. We've been outside having a ball for about, yeah, three days straight, no sleep. Today, I, you, you know what? You wanna know what time I got in the house and went to sleep?

• 49:55Adam Friedland?

  Where? What time?

• 49:56Speaker 03

I got in the house, I got in the hotel at 9 a.m. I fell asleep around 9:45, 10. And what time I had to be at the first thing?

• 50:06Speaker 00

Noon, you got there at 1?

• 50:08Adam Friedland?

Oh, that's the, that's his publicist who just spoke, yeah, yeah.

• 50:10Speaker 03

  I got there at 12:40.

• 50:13Adam Friedland?

  You're irresponsible gentleman, yeah.

• 50:15Speaker 03

So I, I closed my eyes at 10 a.m. And then I got, I woke up around 11, 11:15, got in the shower, left.

• 50:22Adam Friedland?

What'd you do last night? Where'd you go?

• 50:24Speaker 03

Um, where did we go last night? I went and got food and I went to-

• 50:29Adam Friedland?

  Till 4 a.m.?

• 50:30Speaker 03

No, I went and got food. After we got food, where did we go? To the studio, right? Yeah, I stayed in the studio. I went to two studios. So I went to one studio, we was in there chilling until 4. Then I left and went and took my girl to the hotel and then I went to another studio.

• 50:47Adam Friedland?

  Nice.

• 50:48Speaker 03

  Until 8, 8:30.

• 50:51Adam Friedland?

  You went to another studio?

• 50:54Speaker 03

Yeah, I went to another fucking studio.

• 50:55Adam Friedland?

After you dropped your girl off?

• 50:56Speaker 03

  Yeah, yeah.

• 50:57Adam Friedland?

She was tired, she was asleep, bro, she could've, she could've came to the second studio.

• 51:01Speaker 03

Yeah, I went and did a verse, I made some money, I made some money.

• 51:04Adam Friedland?

Yeah, yeah, you did a verse.

• 51:05Speaker 03

Came back in with some money.

• 51:06Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 51:07Speaker 03

Either I made some money or what else I'm gonna do coming in the house with thousands? Don't you think I'm about to sling a dick out of-

• 51:12Adam Friedland?

Yeah, you're a famous rapper, you should get girls, you should get a lot of girls.

• 51:15Speaker 03

  Like selling it.

• 51:15Adam Friedland?

Not like the Don't Like video.

• 51:16Speaker 03

  Like selling it, though.

• 51:18Adam Friedland?

You're not gonna sell, what, sell, what are you, sell your penis? What are you talking about? What? Sorry, no, sorry, we're off-

• 51:23Speaker 03

  Would you? Would you, technically?

• 51:25Adam Friedland?

Sell my penis? For what? No one's buying that.

• 51:30Speaker 03

For thousands. Somebody call you right now and say, "I got 10K, I want it." You dropping it off?

• 51:36Adam Friedland?

Oh, uh, like a beautiful woman?

• 51:38Speaker 03

What? No, fuck no. If you selling it, looks is never matter.

• 51:41Adam Friedland?

  Like a big old girl?

• 51:42Speaker 03

  Whoever.

• 51:44Adam Friedland?

No, I, well, I just got engaged to my fiance, so yeah. I wouldn't want to jeopardize our love, you know, yeah. Even if I could get ten thousand dollars for my penis, if this three hundred pound woman wants my penis.

• 51:56Speaker 03

So if she was two hundred pounds lighter?

• 51:58Adam Friedland?

No, I wouldn't prostitute myself, and neither, nor should anyone.

• 52:03Speaker 03

  I don't, yeah, I don't believe it.

• 52:04Adam Friedland?

It is the oldest, oldest profession, but.

• 52:06Speaker 03

  It is?

• 52:07Adam Friedland?

I guess, that's what they say, I don't know. Are there tourists that go to like O Block?

• 52:13Speaker 03

  Fuck yeah.

• 52:14Adam Friedland?

There's like German tour groups that are like.

• 52:16Speaker 03

My son wanna go to O Block, I told him, man, hell nah, you ain't going over there.

• 52:20Adam Friedland?

There's like, there's like a, like a tourist, like Europeans that are like. Like Wild Hundreds, uh, like I'm Kobe. Finally rich.

• 52:33Speaker 03

Yeah, they, they, they go tour over there for sure, like, you ain't see all the people traveling to go see the King Von mural and shit like. My son definitely wanna go to O Block though, man, I told him, I ain't gonna take him, but I might, I might still take him. I might still take him.

• 52:45Adam Friedland?

When did you first meet, um, those, those boys? When did you first meet Chief Keef and Sosa?

• 52:49Speaker 03

Uh, first time, me and Sosa, I think we was like fifteen, both of us, like fifteen, yeah.

• 52:54Adam Friedland?

Is he the same age as you?

• 52:56Speaker 03

Yeah, we the same age, yeah.

• 52:57Adam Friedland?

Yeah, and, and you were from, you were from the east side though, right?

• 53:00Speaker 03

Yeah, I'm from the east side, he from the south side, he from O Block, and I'm from Seventy Ninth Street, but.

• 53:05Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 53:05Speaker 03

We got like, my best, so my best friend's name is Wap, him and Sosa grew up together, so.

• 53:11Adam Friedland?

  He's Italian?

• 53:13Speaker 03

  Nope.

• 53:13Adam Friedland?

  Okay, nevermind.

• 53:16Adam Friedland?

  He's a Wap.

• 53:17Speaker 03

He was funny, he was a funny motherfucker, man.

• 53:19Adam Friedland?

  I tried, I tried.

• 53:20Speaker 03

You got it, but yeah, nah, his name Wap, and, um, him and Sosa grew up together, so. Like, when he moved to my neighborhood, like, he grew up in the projects and shit, like, and, you know, he always known Sosa like half his life. And, um.

• 53:36Speaker 03

When he moved to my neighborhood, of course, we got like super close. He's still my best friend to this day. So I met Sosa through him, like through him and his brother, Cap, who passed away. He was also a rapper. And that's how I met Sosa. So when I first started to do music and rap, the studio that he took me to was the same studio Sosa used to record at.

• 53:56Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 53:56Speaker 03

You feel me? So, yeah. But him and Sosa, of course, was already like friends and shit. But he took me like, "All right, bet, go record at this studio." And that's how I met Sosa. He like, "Man, you should record over here."

• 54:07Adam Friedland?

Was it, you guys liked each other when you met?

• 54:09Speaker 03

Yeah, for sure, yeah. Man, so we always been like locked in since the day we met.

• 54:15Adam Friedland?

Do you consider yourself like on that Mount Rushmore? Like where it's like, I guess, if a Jewish guy from Las Vegas, suburban Las Vegas would have to tell you this, it's probably in my mind, it's Chief Keef, it's King Von, it's Dirk maybe, and you.

• 54:31Speaker 03

  Yeah, for sure.

• 54:32Adam Friedland?

  It sounds like that's right.

• 54:34Speaker 03

I would definitely, yeah. I definitely would put myself on the Mount Rushmore. And it's like, it's so hard and it's so controversial when you speak of that because it's like so much greatness has come out of Chicago where it's like.

• 54:46Adam Friedland?

It also influenced New York and influenced London.

• 54:49Speaker 03

Yeah, it did, definitely. It's influenced even like, you know, Tokyo got Dril now.

• 54:55Adam Friedland?

You fuck with them? You hang out with them?

• 54:57Speaker 03

Yeah, I like Tokyo Dril just because I like their swag.

• 55:01Adam Friedland?

They take their shoes off before they do?

• 55:03Speaker 03

Yeah, I like how they carry themselves. Nah, hell nah, they be fly, they be on some fly shit. They be on some fly shit. That's why I fuck with Tokyo Dril though. Like they on some like fly gangster shit. And I feel like every country always got like a ghetto where it's like, there's shit going on there, no matter what.

• 55:20Adam Friedland?

Yeah. Have you been there before?

• 55:22Speaker 03

  No, I've never been.

• 55:23Adam Friedland?

  It's like there's a speck of-

• 55:25Speaker 03

  You been to Japan?

• 55:25Adam Friedland?

Yeah, twice. There isn't like a speck of dust on the sidewalk.

• 55:28Speaker 03

  None.

• 55:29Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, it's-

• 55:30Speaker 03

  It's really clean, like clean.

• 55:31Adam Friedland?

You don't see, it's bizarre. It's like, um, yeah, I think because we dropped two atomic bombs on them, they have like a trauma about it.

• 55:39Speaker 03

  So they're super clean.

• 55:40Adam Friedland?

  You can't-

• 55:41Speaker 03

  It's two? We dropped two?

• 55:42Adam Friedland?

  It's all Japanese people.

• 55:43Speaker 03

No, it was two atomic bombs?

• 55:44Adam Friedland?

It was Hiroshima, Nagasaki. Or two different places. Yeah, yeah. It's pretty horrific that we did that.

• 55:50Speaker 03

  Yeah, it's fucked up.

• 55:51Adam Friedland?

Yeah. I mean, all, all, what, we didn't do it, I mean, you and I, we weren't like, it's funny that the plane was called the Enola Gay though. Pause, that's crazy.

• 56:02Speaker 03

It was, I didn't know that. See, you putting me on to a lot of shit I didn't know.

• 56:05Adam Friedland?

I mean, I knew about those.

• 56:07Speaker 03

I knew about those historic events, of course.

• 56:09Adam Friedland?

There's a Reddit page I found, this really made me nauseous. I don't know if you know about this, it's called Chiracology.

• 56:18Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, I know that page.

• 56:19Adam Friedland?

It's the guys that are stalking you guys. It's like, one of them called out-

• 56:26Speaker 03

What are those pictures you looking at?

• 56:27Adam Friedland?

I wanna show these to you. These are some of the most psychotic posts that I've found. Okay, so this is, um, this one says, "Anyone know who this dude is in the back?" It's just like some guy that's-

• 56:41Speaker 03

  I mean, look, a little-

• 56:42Adam Friedland?

Why, like, these are like, um, people trying to spot who the guy in-

• 56:47Speaker 03

  That's smirk.

• 56:48Adam Friedland?

  Well, you know-

• 56:49Speaker 03

  It's not dirt, right?

• 56:50Adam Friedland?

I don't know who that is. I mean, it's a guy in a picture with Chief Keef forty feet away.

• 56:55Speaker 03

Nah, this ain't dirt. That ain't had wicks back then.

• 56:58Adam Friedland?

Here's another one. "Some shirtless pictures of King Von." Pause, no, that pause, that's crazy.

• 57:04Speaker 03

Bro was a little stalky, he did all that fucking-

• 57:05Adam Friedland?

  So you like this?

• 57:07Speaker 03

  He did all that time.

• 57:08Adam Friedland?

This would be so annoying if people were posting this stuff about my friends. Okay-

• 57:12Speaker 03

Chiracology, I know this page. I'm just now-

• 57:14Adam Friedland?

  These people are psychos.

• 57:15Speaker 03

I'm just now catching on to Reddit. Yeah, it's a lot of fucking psychos out here, bro. You just now noticing?

• 57:21Adam Friedland?

Read this, read this, uh, this post aloud. This is cra-

• 57:24Speaker 03

  Read this out loud.

• 57:25Adam Friedland?

Yeah, yeah, this is like, probably a fourteen-year-old child in like, the-

• 57:30Speaker 03

  Yeah, for sure.

• 57:30Adam Friedland?

  In Colorado.

• 57:31Speaker 03

And this is what get you, get people fucked up when they, when, you know what I'm saying?

• 57:34Adam Friedland?

When I see this, I'm like-

• 57:35Speaker 03

It said, "How can I take drillers serious when he came from a loving household? Dude never struggled a day in his life, ate three meals a day, I doubt he even know what a bad day is."

• 57:46Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 57:46Speaker 03

Just 'cause he in a family picture?

• 57:50Speaker 03

I seen a post like, I seen a post, I mean, like a meme video where niggas was like, like, you can't do nothing, like, you really like, in this day and age, like, even in Chicago or just in this culture, you gotta like, be homeless and like, nobody gotta love you, like. They say, "Yeah, this nigga was like-"

• 58:07Adam Friedland?

  His parents loved him.

• 58:08Speaker 03

This nigga was well-mannered and whatnot, his parents loved him, like-

• 58:11Adam Friedland?

Yeah, like a thirteen year old from Colorado posted that.

• 58:13Speaker 03

This nigga ate three meals a day, this nigga had nutrition.

• 58:15Adam Friedland?

He had two parents and they loved him?

• 58:17Speaker 03

What the fuck is going on, bro?

• 58:18Adam Friedland?

  And he ate?

• 58:19Speaker 03

I got so many pictures like this, bro, but I ain't gonna lie. I don't, I don't know him personally.

• 58:25Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 58:26Speaker 03

But, um, yeah, them some serious, them some serious dudes over there.

• 58:31Adam Friedland?

What do you make of like?

• 58:32Speaker 03

  You guys are serious.

• 58:33Adam Friedland?

Of like the content creators that have made careers basically off of you guys? Like Akademiks or Vlad or like people that are like, people that cover you guys and have like made money off it?

• 58:46Speaker 03

See, if I was, if I was the type of nigga that really, I don't give a fuck about that shit. But if I did, I'd probably be like, yeah, you know, cut, cut me in or do something like. I feel like all those kinda guys, what they should do is give to a, a nonprofit organization in Chicago that I'mma challenge them to do that, like.

• 59:06Adam Friedland?

  What's yours called?

• 59:07Speaker 03

Akademiks, Vlad, all you niggas that they made money off of culture and people dying and bloodshed and shit like that. Go donate twenty thousand or fifty thousand to a nonprofit organization that focus on just the betterment of kids.

• 59:21Speaker 03

  That's my opinion, personal opinion.

• 59:25Adam Friedland?

  He's awake?

• 59:26Speaker 03

  Yeah, and, and.

• 59:27Adam Friedland?

What do you make of that guy, Akademiks?

• 59:29Speaker 03

Akademiks? He, Akademiks, like, I don't.

• 59:32Adam Friedland?

It's a little bit like, his life is.

• 59:34Speaker 03

I fuck with him though, like me and Akademiks, we done met, we chopped it up, we done interviews, but like. I'm not gonna like, see me, me and the man, I don't agree with everything he does. And that's okay, you could agree to disagree, you feel what I'm saying? But like, he just Akademiks, bro, like.

• 59:47Adam Friedland?

You don't think of being an adult man, as a man? And he's like.

• 59:51Speaker 03

An adult man as a man, there's certain shit you shouldn't do and you shouldn't say, point blank.

• 59:54Adam Friedland?

Well, he's just giving, he's like my liege, my sword. He's like, he's just sucking up to other men, like, yeah.

• 1:00:00Speaker 03

  Yeah, it's like.

• 1:00:01Adam Friedland?

It's like a kinda crazy life.

• 1:00:02Speaker 03

It's like he, and I'mma say this and I'mma just leave it at that, like he pick and choose when he wanna be, like. A real nigga or aggressor or say certain shit that's just like your moral code should never allow you to say. You can't pick and choose like on Wednesday I'm gonna say some shit that's super outrageous then Thursday I'm like a real nigga like well I'm cool I fuck you know what I'm saying like you can't do that because as a man you gotta be held accountable for what you say. So in certain situations if somebody holds you accountable for that you gotta accept what come with that accountability you feel I'm saying you can't shy away from it.

• 1:00:38Adam Friedland?

He just seems like a suck up.

• 1:00:39Speaker 03

Do no other shit like yeah and I'm glad you saying this I'm not saying it.

• 1:00:43Adam Friedland?

Yeah anyway nothing bad. Academics you're on notice you owe a hundred thousand dollars to what organization?

• 1:00:49Speaker 03

Any organization you pick one man. A hundred because you done made so much money off this shit. Y'all go donate a hundred thousand dollars.

• 1:00:57Adam Friedland?

  A hundred.

• 1:00:57Speaker 03

And write that shit off on y'all taxes bro.

• 1:00:59Adam Friedland?

And if you don't you're uh

• 1:01:02Speaker 03

Yeah what say it land a plane.

• 1:01:04Adam Friedland?

You're a bitch. Academics you're a real bitch and if you have problems uh you can take it up on the Adam Friedland Show DJ Academics. You can I will I will sit down with you in the most uh intellectual style.

• 1:01:18Speaker 03

And I'll be there in the middle to mediate.

• 1:01:20Adam Friedland?

Yeah yeah no I don't even need you that is one I could I feel like I could handle myself.

• 1:01:27Adam Friedland?

I can handle that one alright sorry.

• 1:01:29Speaker 03

  Let me shake your hand.

• 1:01:30Adam Friedland?

Thank you so much and he agrees with everything I just said and thank you um. Do you feel like with as much life experience as you've had do you feel like older than 29?

• 1:01:40Speaker 03

  I definitely feel.

• 1:01:41Adam Friedland?

  You're probably 65 years old.

• 1:01:42Speaker 03

And yeah in in trenches years I'm 65 for sure because like I grew up early bro and I had a lot of responsibility on me at a young age because I thought it was the way to go like when you when you grow up early you you feel like you a man so at like 15 16 years old I feel like I was a man. And I held with people, I mean, I hung out with people that was older than me, you feel what I'm saying?

• 1:02:06Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:02:06Speaker 03

I get a lot of like my influence and shit, like I keep mentioning my brother, like I hung with him my entire life. He's five years older than me, so he was already doing certain shit and like, you know what I'm saying? Any things that I wanted to be into early on, you feel me? So I always thought like, I was a man, like I hung out with older people. I dropped out of school early, by the time I was sixteen, I was paying like all the bills in my house. Like, literally, like paying my mama bills, paying, doing shit for my aunties, you know, like just doing so much shit. Whereas like, I was taking care of my friends, families and shit like that, you feel me? And I was in the streets for real, so you gotta think about it like, I was losing a lot of my homies, my homies dying. I'm fifteen, sixteen, seventeen years old, I'm covering the whole funeral cost.

• 1:02:51Speaker 03

You feel me, like doing shit like that at an early age, it put a lot on you, it take a toll and it never stopped. So, like I said, when I got shot, I was back outside, my homies got killed, I'm back outside. So it was never ending, you feel what I'm saying? Like, I never got a time to like, you know, like get that trauma off of me, like talk to somebody. Like even when I started doing therapy when I was in my twenties and shit, like I was four or five years behind, like. In certain, like, you know, communities and cultures, like if you go see somebody fucking getting in a fight, you go into therapy, like, you feel what I'm saying? One traumatic event, you go into therapy.

• 1:03:27Adam Friedland?

  Not me, not me.

• 1:03:28Speaker 03

  Not you.

• 1:03:28Adam Friedland?

I, I've, I got no problems, no, I've been to a lot of therapy, actually, a lot, a lot of therapy, I've gone through a lot of.

• 1:03:33Speaker 03

When have you, when was your first therapy session? What age?

• 1:03:39Adam Friedland?

  Thirty-two.

• 1:03:41Speaker 03

  Thirty-two?

• 1:03:41Adam Friedland?

And then I got through a breakup and then my mother passed away, cancer.

• 1:03:47Speaker 03

Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry for your loss.

• 1:03:50Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:03:50Speaker 03

So you was going through the breakup and you started therapy?

• 1:03:53Adam Friedland?

But then the mom died and you don't care about the breakup, you know?

• 1:03:56Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:03:57Adam Friedland?

And then, uh, and then basically he was like, you graduated, you should be the therapist, you're one of the smartest guys I've ever met.

• 1:04:04Speaker 03

That's true, your therapist said that?

• 1:04:06Adam Friedland?

  No.

• 1:04:09Adam Friedland?

  You're healed.

• 1:04:11Speaker 03

You're healed, get the fuck on. But nah, I'm saying all that to say, see, look, bro, I can't listen to you all the time.

• 1:04:17Adam Friedland?

No, no, what I mean is like, I was going through a tough time, uh, cause my mom had cancer, so I started doing therapy. And then I went through a breakup during that time.

• 1:04:25Speaker 03

  During that time?

• 1:04:26Adam Friedland?

During that time. It's, it's useful. You know what it is? It's more like you talk about your week and all the things you think that you're like, I, you, I do things that I'm like, you're the worst guy in the world, right? You suck. And then I say it and I'm like, uh, it's, it's kind of a normal thing.

• 1:04:42Speaker 03

  It's normal.

• 1:04:43Adam Friedland?

It's a, you, kind of a normal thing.

• 1:04:45Speaker 03

Fuck, I'm so glad I'm talking to you and we saying that. It's like a therapy session in a way. Cause like, when you saying it like, so basically you might go through some personal shit and a traumatic event will make you feel like it's not so bad, like it's cool, like, you know, so you might lose a friend or you might lose a girlfriend or some shit. And that's somebody that's like, see, see me technically, and I'm gonna be completely honest, like I, I had this problem bad coming up. I've lost so many people that have like physically died, you know what I'm saying? That's not here anymore where it's like, I don't really care about losing friends.

• 1:05:16Adam Friedland?

That's why it's embarrassing for me to talk to therapy, to talk about therapy to you.

• 1:05:20Speaker 03

Yeah, or losing a relationship or shit like that, you feel what I'm saying?

• 1:05:23Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:05:23Speaker 03

  From hell is crazy.

• 1:05:25Adam Friedland?

I mean, it's crazy. You're from like, you were in a war zone as a child. And then I'm like, and then my girlfriend cheated on me? And would you believe it? She cheated on me? And it's just like, it's like, that's a little bit embarrassing for, on my end.

• 1:05:38Speaker 03

But the thing is like, see, this what makes us-

• 1:05:41Adam Friedland?

The fact that you're being nice to me right now makes me, thank God.

• 1:05:44Speaker 03

  I fuck with you.

• 1:05:44Adam Friedland?

You could really just kill my ass on all of this.

• 1:05:47Speaker 03

Nah, nah, nah, nah, I fuck with you.

• 1:05:48Adam Friedland?

And then your girlfriend cheated on you?

• 1:05:49Speaker 03

But the thing is like, but the thing is, bro, that what makes us so different is like, everybody going through this shit, like, know what I'm saying? Yeah, we are the same, but, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The thing is.

• 1:06:03Speaker 03

The thing is like everybody going through the same shit. So you really don't have time to process your thoughts and your emotions like. You might be going through a traumatic event where like your best friend died or your brother died or your mom died, your dad died. Somebody else is going through the exact same thing right next to you. So it's like you trying to be there for somebody, you trying to grieve your own way. And then you trying to get up and strive to do something the next day. And the next day, something else happened. You feel what I'm saying like in the next day, something else happened. And the next day, something else happened. So if we don't have the proper like, and this is me being on some real shit. If we don't have the proper resources and tools to like get help or talk to somebody or have therapy and shit like that. You will never get over it. You'll just be carrying that trauma and that's why everybody walk around angry.

• 1:06:47Speaker 03

That's why niggas mad like soon as you step on a nigga shoe, he ready to kill you.

• 1:06:50Adam Friedland?

I would kill you if you did, I would have no choice.

• 1:06:53Speaker 03

  Those shoes?

• 1:06:54Adam Friedland?

No, sorry, I was just kidding. No, these shoes, they're nice.

• 1:06:57Speaker 03

  Them shoes ain't nothing.

• 1:06:59Adam Friedland?

Um, what you're saying is, is, what you're saying is, is like, yeah. What you realize is like if you're responding to a situation that's just a sad situation. You're not necessarily clinically depressed.

• 1:07:12Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:07:12Adam Friedland?

You know what I mean? You're a human being responding honestly to a stimul, some, you know, something that's inspiring that kind of emotion. And it's like, it's an easier way to like, kind of like, it's, it's more of a like a practical thing to like.

• 1:07:27Speaker 03

So let me ask you this question.

• 1:07:29Adam Friedland?

  Yes.

• 1:07:29Speaker 03

As a thirty year old, thirty eight year old man.

• 1:07:32Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, it's not that.

• 1:07:32Speaker 03

What's your, what's like, what's your breaking point? Like what get your blood boiling like when some shit happen?

• 1:07:37Adam Friedland?

  Me?

• 1:07:38Speaker 03

Yes, what pisses you off the most on a, that you, that you experience on a day to day basis? Like shit that just make you mad, like get the fuck away from me.

• 1:07:47Adam Friedland?

What gets me mad? Uh, you know, like not a, you know, I, I'm, I like, I'm kind of lucky. Yeah, I don't like, I, I, like, you know what it is? It's like, if you don't have money, right? My parents like had trouble with money growing up. And that living where you're constantly stressed about money, it consumes you, right? And I was broke as shit, like, for most of my adult life. And then I started being able to, like, subsist and then not have to worry about money.

• 1:08:21Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:08:21Adam Friedland?

  And it's a different life.

• 1:08:23Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:08:23Adam Friedland?

And that's, that's kind of what I think, when I made that joke about you guys shouldn't steal from my ex-girlfriend's family, which you should.

• 1:08:29Speaker 03

You didn't say her, you didn't.

• 1:08:31Adam Friedland?

I said directly her. You know why, you know why I broke up?

• 1:08:34Speaker 03

You said she lived in that area, you said go steal from that area.

• 1:08:37Adam Friedland?

The northern, the suburbs, you should be stealing from them? No, I broke up with her, actually, because, uh, because I went back for Christmas with her. It was like my first Christmas, I was like so hyped, I was. And she said, um, I met her people, her friends, and she said, um, she said the word, she said black. She said the only black kids in our high school were Lovey Smith. Lovey Smith, the coach of the Bears kids.

• 1:09:03Speaker 03

  Ah, Lovey Smith, yeah.

• 1:09:05Adam Friedland?

The way she said black, I was like, I felt like I should be.

• 1:09:08Speaker 03

  Fucked you up.

• 1:09:09Adam Friedland?

Can I, can I ask you, okay, I, I want to ask you about, a little bit about, like, there's this, like, urban legend that Jordan, like, went to the hood and, and lost a hundred grand in a dice game.

• 1:09:23Speaker 03

Made more than a hundred. Probably lost a couple.

• 1:09:26Adam Friedland?

  Is that real?

• 1:09:27Speaker 03

I, me growing up, I really, personally, it's an urban legend, but I believe it.

• 1:09:33Adam Friedland?

  A hundred percent it happened.

• 1:09:35Speaker 03

A guy from our neighborhood, or he used to be in our neighborhood, and this is crazy. I can't even disclose too much information because they're gonna know what I'm talking about.

• 1:09:43Adam Friedland?

  Lil' Bibby.

• 1:09:44Speaker 03

No, fuck no. A guy from our neighborhood, he, like, he was like a nigga that just got money and shit like that and, you know, did what he did. They said he won a million from Jordan, like gambling, shooting dice.

• 1:10:02Adam Friedland?

  He was on the Bulls?

• 1:10:03Speaker 03

Shooting dice. Nah, fuck no, he was a street nigga.

• 1:10:05Adam Friedland?

No, but Jordan was just rolled out.

• 1:10:07Speaker 03

Jordan was either on the Bulls, or on the Wizards, or just getting out the league. Either way, he was Michael Jordan, rich as fuck, and he was gambling, shooting dice, and he lost a million dollars to this guy. I swear to God.

• 1:10:19Adam Friedland?

There's no way that Jordan paid. There's no way he paid.

• 1:10:22Speaker 03

He didn't pay, no. That's what I'm saying. He owed, he probably, he probably gave him like two, three hundred that night.

• 1:10:27Adam Friedland?

  That's right.

• 1:10:27Speaker 03

And owed him seven hundred thousand.

• 1:10:28Adam Friedland?

So, Michael Jordan, DJ Academics, you're on notice, you owe this guy, uh, this gentleman, we're not gonna say his name, but you know.

• 1:10:35Speaker 03

  For sure, for sure.

• 1:10:36Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:10:36Speaker 03

I think he owed them over five hundred thousand. Like, he probably gave him two, three hundred that night, and never gave him the rest of the money.

• 1:10:45Adam Friedland?

Wait, I, I watched your Drink Champs, and first off, I wanna say, there's like a moment at the end where Noriega like gives you your flowers, and it's like very beautiful. Because it's like, even if like the head, like, even if the, the, the heads aren't saying it to you, like, we all know, you're amazing. And that's an amazing thing to say.

• 1:11:03Speaker 03

  I appreciate that, bro.

• 1:11:05Adam Friedland?

Okay, but then, they did this game with the shots, right?

• 1:11:08Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:11:09Adam Friedland?

So I wanted to do my version of it.

• 1:11:10Speaker 03

  Let's do it.

• 1:11:11Adam Friedland?

Where, what, what was the game called?

• 1:11:12Speaker 03

The 1942. I don't remember the game, cuz I was fucked up on Drink Champs.

• 1:11:16Adam Friedland?

  I know you were.

• 1:11:17Speaker 03

I got drunk as a motherfucker.

• 1:11:18Adam Friedland?

Okay, so I'm gonna do, it's, so it's one or the other, or take a, and if it's a tie, it's take a shot.

• 1:11:24Speaker 03

  Alright, bud.

• 1:11:24Adam Friedland?

Okay, so we're gonna go, we're gonna do it, this is the Adam Free Lunch Show version of something that.

• 1:11:30Speaker 03

Let me just, hold on. Before you start, let me just pour my shots now.

• 1:11:33Adam Friedland?

This is, I'm already drunk. Should we go to the.

• 1:11:36Speaker 03

So I gotta, I gotta pour yours as well.

• 1:11:39Adam Friedland?

Yeah, I'm gonna go like this.

• 1:11:40Speaker 03

Oh, yeah, so, no, cuz they take a shot with me when I do it.

• 1:11:43Adam Friedland?

I'll do anything you ask me to. Okay, alright. Let's start. Okay, Tupac or Biggie?

• 1:11:49Speaker 03

  He said, "Yo." "Yo."

• 1:11:52Adam Friedland?

What do you mean, pause? I'm not gay. I'm not with that gay shit.

• 1:12:00Adam Friedland?

How you gonna bring this guy disrespecting me in my own office in a building?

• 1:12:04Speaker 03

He from New York though, like.

• 1:12:06Adam Friedland?

Oh, where are you from? I'm Fort Greene, Brooklyn, sir. Have you been to the farmer's market? Have you been to the farmer's market? On a Saturday morning with your slouchy outfit with your girlfriend, just relaxing? It's a nice Saturday morning.

• 1:12:20Speaker 03

He from the Bronx, TX, BX.

• 1:12:21Adam Friedland?

Oh, I have a lot of respect for uptown, the Bronx, yeah. Do you like hookah?

• 1:12:28Adam Friedland?

That's Dykman. It's weird, the Dominicans really like hookah. But it's a Middle Eastern thing, but the Dominicans like it? And they're wearing girls jeans and they're doing hookah?

• 1:12:39Speaker 03

I don't got no problem with hookah, I just feel like... It's for the bitches.

• 1:12:43Adam Friedland?

It's for when, it's for Jewish kids doing your summer tour of Israel.

• 1:12:46Speaker 03

I'ma look at the camera, I ain't gonna say my cuz, and they ain't a cuz. Put that hookah down.

• 1:12:51Adam Friedland?

Yeah, cuz, put that hookah down, it's gonna destroy your life. Okay.

• 1:12:55Speaker 03

  Cuz, put that motherfucker down.

• 1:12:56Adam Friedland?

Alright, let's do the classic, the Tupac or Biggie?

• 1:12:59Speaker 03

  Tupac or Biggie?

• 1:13:00Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:13:02Speaker 03

  Tupac.

• 1:13:03Adam Friedland?

  Really? Really?

• 1:13:04Speaker 03

  I'ma go Tupac.

• 1:13:05Adam Friedland?

  Okay.

• 1:13:05Speaker 03

I always been a Pac kind of nigga.

• 1:13:07Adam Friedland?

  Alright, Atlanta, Gucci or Jeezy?

• 1:13:10Speaker 03

  WAP, I'm going Gucci.

• 1:13:12Adam Friedland?

Alright, I agree. But Jeezy, actually, what a ledge.

• 1:13:16Speaker 03

Jeezy that nigga? No, bro, I'm going WAP, though, like, I grew up on Gucci, man.

• 1:13:20Adam Friedland?

The two songs with Kanye? The two songs with Kanye?

• 1:13:22Speaker 03

  Yeah, for sure.

• 1:13:23Adam Friedland?

  The Kanye verse-

• 1:13:24Speaker 03

The Rilis Back Alone is just monumental.

• 1:13:26Adam Friedland?

The Kanye verse, "I'm put on," is the funniest-

• 1:13:29Speaker 03

  With TM 101.

• 1:13:30Adam Friedland?

The Kanye verse, "I'm put on," is the funniest thing ever. You could tell Amber Rose just destroyed his life, and he's like, "I put on for the bitches that owe me sex."

• 1:13:38Speaker 03

  Sex is-

• 1:13:39Adam Friedland?

The way he says, "Owe me sex," like, "I've earned this sex, madam." "Ma'am, you owe me." Bro, what the fuck is wrong with this nigga? I'm a genius.

• 1:13:49Speaker 03

Hey, bro, alright, bro, I'ma go Gucci, though, I'm just like-

• 1:13:52Adam Friedland?

  Of course, Gucci.

• 1:13:53Speaker 03

Everything, like, my whole, like, my upbringing-

• 1:13:55Adam Friedland?

Have you met him? He's the coolest guy?

• 1:13:57Speaker 03

Yeah, of course, of course, I've met WAP a hundred times.

• 1:13:59Adam Friedland?

He fell asleep like this guy, or no?

• 1:14:00Speaker 03

  Nah, hell nah.

• 1:14:01Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, the whole time?

• 1:14:02Speaker 03

Just like, yeah, like, I don't know, just my whole upbringing was Gucci. My homie G Fazio, his favorite rapper was Gucci Mane, like, that's how I really got up on Gucci lyrics.

• 1:14:10Adam Friedland?

So the Chicago guys were, like, listening to that stuff?

• 1:14:12Speaker 03

Yeah, my homie G Fazio, he died, Fazion died in 2010. Like, his favorite rapper was Gucci Mane, like-

• 1:14:17Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:14:18Speaker 03

I don't give a fuck who your favorite rapper was, all he wanted to, he was Gucci.

• 1:14:23Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:14:23Speaker 03

You feel me, so, like, yeah, I got, like, a different type of-

• 1:14:26Adam Friedland?

Alright, J Diller, Mad Lib? Or is that a white question?

• 1:14:31Speaker 03

I'm taking shots already before I even answer the question.

• 1:14:34Adam Friedland?

Cause you're having a great time?

• 1:14:35Speaker 03

  That was a white question.

• 1:14:36Adam Friedland?

Yeah, it was a white question. They're incredible though.

• 1:14:39Speaker 03

I don't, hey, don't kill me, nobody. Who are they?

• 1:14:46Speaker 03

  Who are they?

• 1:14:47Adam Friedland?

Well, let me tell you about hip-hop culture. Okay. Herb, let me explain to you. No, they're like two incredible.

• 1:14:54Speaker 03

  What do they do, though?

• 1:14:56Adam Friedland?

They're two of the best producers ever.

• 1:14:58Speaker 03

Okay, wait, say the names again?

• 1:15:00Adam Friedland?

  J Dilla or Mad Lib?

• 1:15:04Speaker 03

  What did they produce?

• 1:15:05Adam Friedland?

  You know Quasimodo, you know?

• 1:15:06Speaker 03

  I know Quasimodo.

• 1:15:06Adam Friedland?

  Mad Villainy?

• 1:15:07Speaker 03

  Of course, yeah.

• 1:15:08Adam Friedland?

  Quasimodo is Mad Lib.

• 1:15:10Speaker 03

  Oh, okay.

• 1:15:11Adam Friedland?

  With his voice pitched up.

• 1:15:12Speaker 03

Okay, I'ma go, I'ma go Mad Lib then. I know Quasimodo.

• 1:15:14Adam Friedland?

It's the right answer, it's the right answer. Dilla died, and it's very sad, but it's the right answer.

• 1:15:19Speaker 03

  I'ma go Mad Lib.

• 1:15:19Adam Friedland?

Just cause you're dead, it doesn't mean you, you win. Dilla was also incredible.

• 1:15:23Speaker 03

You're a fucked up person, bro.

• 1:15:24Adam Friedland?

Incredible, I'm sorry that I said that. I'm sorry I said that. Okay, I don't know if you, you'll know these guys.

• 1:15:30Speaker 03

You're a great person, though, but you're fucked up.

• 1:15:33Adam Friedland?

I'm not fucked up, you're fucked up.

• 1:15:34Speaker 03

You're fucked up in the head, bro.

• 1:15:35Adam Friedland?

You're one of the most fucked up guys ever.

• 1:15:38Adam Friedland?

You're fucked up, uh, okay. Uh, you might not know these guys, actually. This might be a white question. This actually is a white question.

• 1:15:45Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:15:46Adam Friedland?

And it's gonna be funny when I say what the question is.

• 1:15:47Speaker 03

My mom, like borderline white. My mom, like blackish whiter. She worked at Marshall Fields for like fifteen years.

• 1:15:54Adam Friedland?

  What's that?

• 1:15:55Speaker 03

You know what Marshall Fields is?

• 1:15:56Adam Friedland?

  I know Marshalls.

• 1:15:57Speaker 03

Marshall Fields was Macy's before it turned into Macy's.

• 1:16:00Adam Friedland?

Oh, my god, my mom took me to Macy's so much before Thanksgiving.

• 1:16:04Speaker 03

So it was before it became Macy's. You remember Marshall Fields?

• 1:16:07Adam Friedland?

Is it like a, a department?

• 1:16:09Speaker 03

It was called Marshall Fields. It was a Marshall Fields here, one in New York, like. It was called Marshall Fields before Macy's. Marshall Fields wasn't as popular. Macy's got like, super big, but, yeah.

• 1:16:20Adam Friedland?

  When co- when?

• 1:16:21Speaker 03

She start, she was still working there when it became, yeah, I think Macy's bought Marshall Fields.

• 1:16:25Adam Friedland?

When Call It Dropout dropped, the polo aspect of it was so meaningful.

• 1:16:32Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:16:32Adam Friedland?

Cause my mom would take me to Macy's to get a polo like that.

• 1:16:35Speaker 03

  Get the polo, yeah.

• 1:16:36Adam Friedland?

  And I'm like, now there's a rapper?

• 1:16:37Speaker 03

They headed in Marshall Fields, like. I, I grew up, like, when I was on my, like, fashion shit and shit, like. Well, I used to get my clothes from where my mom worked, Marshall Field, like. That's why I'm so big on cologne, like, I'm a big cologne connoisseur.

• 1:16:50Adam Friedland?

  Really?

• 1:16:50Speaker 03

Cause my mom worked in the fragrance department at Marshall Field.

• 1:16:53Adam Friedland?

  What's your favorite?

• 1:16:55Speaker 03

  My favorite cologne, probably...

• 1:16:59Speaker 03

Creed is my all time favorite.

• 1:17:01Adam Friedland?

  Creed?

• 1:17:02Speaker 03

Yeah, I love the way Creed smell. You know what Creed is, bro.

• 1:17:05Adam Friedland?

  I know the band.

• 1:17:06Speaker 03

Fuck outta here. You know Creed.

• 1:17:07Adam Friedland?

  With all arms wide open.

• 1:17:09Speaker 03

  MFK, I like MFK.

• 1:17:11Adam Friedland?

  Machine Gun Kelly?

• 1:17:13Speaker 03

  MFK, not M G K.

• 1:17:14Adam Friedland?

I know, I was just kidding. Alright, this is a white question. Kendrick or Drake?

• 1:17:20Speaker 03

Hmm, that's not a fucking white question, bro.

• 1:17:21Adam Friedland?

Well, we got really into that. We were like, yes, it's true, Drake is not like us. That was disgusting to me.

• 1:17:28Speaker 03

Wait, hold on, go back, go back, go back.

• 1:17:30Adam Friedland?

The way that fat, white men in their 40s with beards reacted to the beef made me very uncomfortable.

• 1:17:38Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:17:39Adam Friedland?

If you, if you understand what I'm saying.

• 1:17:40Speaker 03

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I get what you're saying wholeheartedly.

• 1:17:43Adam Friedland?

It's like a little bit like, it was like, it's not for, it wasn't for-

• 1:17:45Speaker 03

  As far as the reaction?

• 1:17:46Adam Friedland?

It wasn't for girls. The beef wasn't for girls. It was for fat 40 year old white men, kind of.

• 1:17:52Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:17:52Adam Friedland?

And Joe Budden kind of people.

• 1:17:54Speaker 03

I'mma say this, I'mma chime in and say, beef is never for girls. Girls never get in the beef. They don't give a fuck about that shit, like.

• 1:18:01Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, they care about money.

• 1:18:02Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:18:02Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, yeah, that's true. Yeah.

• 1:18:04Speaker 03

Especially if two niggas in the beef with money, they're never picking sides.

• 1:18:08Adam Friedland?

They're like, I'll see, I'll wait till see.

• 1:18:09Speaker 03

Yeah, yeah, they gonna wait till that shit die down.

• 1:18:11Adam Friedland?

I'mma, I'm team wait and see.

• 1:18:13Speaker 03

Come, yeah, so I'm team wait and see.

• 1:18:15Adam Friedland?

Wait, so say it. Drake, you're, say Drake.

• 1:18:17Speaker 03

  I'm saying shot.

• 1:18:19Adam Friedland?

John, come on, dude. It's antisemitism the way he was treated.

• 1:18:24Speaker 03

  Just take my shot, bro.

• 1:18:25Adam Friedland?

  Let me explain to you.

• 1:18:26Speaker 03

You can never feel bad for a billionaire.

• 1:18:28Adam Friedland?

He's like Blade. He's like a Jewish guy that was allowed to be the biggest rapper in the world.

• 1:18:33Speaker 03

  Blade, who's Blade?

• 1:18:34Adam Friedland?

  Blade, the movie about-

• 1:18:36Speaker 03

  Like the movie Blade?

• 1:18:37Adam Friedland?

Yeah, yeah. Wesley Snipes is half human-

• 1:18:40Speaker 03

How the fuck do you explain it?

• 1:18:41Adam Friedland?

Wesley Snipes is a vampire that could also be in the, in the daylight, right?

• 1:18:46Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:18:46Adam Friedland?

For me, it's like Drake is a Jewish guy that's also allowed to be the most famous rapper in the world. And it meant so much to me. He's the Blade of us.

• 1:18:55Speaker 03

  Hmm.

• 1:18:56Adam Friedland?

And I was like, just, I-

• 1:18:57Speaker 03

  Drake Jewish?

• 1:18:58Adam Friedland?

  Of course he is.

• 1:18:59Speaker 03

  Oh.

• 1:19:00Adam Friedland?

  He never told you?

• 1:19:01Speaker 03

  He's fire.

• 1:19:02Adam Friedland?

Why would he not tell you that?

• 1:19:04Speaker 03

  That's fire.

• 1:19:05Adam Friedland?

  Were you friendly with him?

• 1:19:07Speaker 03

  Yeah, it's my dog.

• 1:19:08Adam Friedland?

  He's the best.

• 1:19:09Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:19:09Adam Friedland?

You were listening to his song the other day on Instagram.

• 1:19:11Speaker 03

Yes, bro. Come on, bro. It's fucking Drake.

• 1:19:13Adam Friedland?

  We love him so much.

• 1:19:14Speaker 03

For real, bro. Drake was one of the first niggas to support me, though, for real. Drake.

• 1:19:18Adam Friedland?

  He put you on?

• 1:19:19Speaker 03

Yeah. He ain't put me on, fuck no.

• 1:19:21Adam Friedland?

  No.

• 1:19:21Speaker 03

But, yeah, Drake, like, you know, he.

• 1:19:23Adam Friedland?

  He showed love.

• 1:19:24Speaker 03

He showed love in 2012, 2013.

• 1:19:28Adam Friedland?

What a good guy, right, guys?

• 1:19:29Speaker 03

  For sure.

• 1:19:30Adam Friedland?

  What a good guy.

• 1:19:31Speaker 03

  For sure.

• 1:19:32Adam Friedland?

And, and please, Drake, do you have his number?

• 1:19:34Speaker 03

  You, you call him.

• 1:19:36Adam Friedland?

Just give me his number, I'll call him.

• 1:19:38Speaker 03

I thought you had his number, bro. I thought y'all was like, you know, like.

• 1:19:41Adam Friedland?

No, I don't see him at the meetings for Jewish people.

• 1:19:44Speaker 03

Nah, I'ma say this, this might be unpopular, like, you know, Ye said that all Jewish.

• 1:19:48Adam Friedland?

No, that was the last question.

• 1:19:51Speaker 03

He said y'all got a group chat, y'all got each other's number.

• 1:19:53Adam Friedland?

  You just killed.

• 1:19:54Speaker 03

  Every Jewish.

• 1:19:55Adam Friedland?

You just killed this entire bit that I prepared.

• 1:19:57Speaker 03

  Jewish person in cahoots.

• 1:19:58Adam Friedland?

  Let's continue. Let's continue.

• 1:20:01Speaker 03

  That's what Ye said, bro.

• 1:20:02Adam Friedland?

  Your necklace just fell off.

• 1:20:03Speaker 03

Damn, this motherfucker fake? And it just fell off, because maybe I ain't.

• 1:20:06Adam Friedland?

Let's continue. Uh, UGK or 36?

• 1:20:12Speaker 03

  36 Mafia.

• 1:20:14Adam Friedland?

Incredible. Incredible. How good. So good.

• 1:20:18Speaker 03

  36 Mafia, for sure.

• 1:20:19Adam Friedland?

There's a lot of that in, in Chicago Drill, too.

• 1:20:22Speaker 03

  Yeah, I'ma go 36.

• 1:20:23Adam Friedland?

There's a lot of the chaos.

• 1:20:24Speaker 03

  I'ma go 36.

• 1:20:25Adam Friedland?

  Okay.

• 1:20:25Speaker 03

Look, so look, so you remember you just said that I smoked my first blunt at six years old, right? I was listening to 36 Mafia.

• 1:20:32Adam Friedland?

  You were?

• 1:20:33Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:20:33Adam Friedland?

You were listening to Sipping on Some Scissor?

• 1:20:35Speaker 03

I was listening to... Fuck, I don't even know what song I was listening to, but I.

• 1:20:41Adam Friedland?

Put your D in her mouth?

• 1:20:42Speaker 03

I 100% sure was listening to Project Pat and Juicy J.

• 1:20:45Adam Friedland?

You were listening to Put Your D in Her Mouth, Give Me Head Till I'm Dig. Put Your D in Her Mouth, Give Me Head Till I'm Dig.

• 1:20:51Speaker 03

Oh, God, I was listening to 36.

• 1:20:52Adam Friedland?

Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. This girl was sucking my dick so good the other day. It's so embarrassing I just did that. Can you guys all forget it? And we're drunk and you're watching us. I don't like being judged. You're all judging us. You fell asleep on the job as a security officer. I'm just deflecting.

• 1:21:07Speaker 03

  Deflecting.

• 1:21:08Adam Friedland?

He's back to sleep? How much time do we have? Okay, let's wrap it up. Beatles or The Rolling, Rolling Stones?

• 1:21:17Speaker 03

  Beatles or Rolling Stones?

• 1:21:18Adam Friedland?

We're not even playing the game.

• 1:21:20Speaker 03

I'ma go, um, I'ma go Beatles. Just cause I

• 1:21:28Adam Friedland?

I can't. That, for me, is shot. It's actually Beatles. But it's so close.

• 1:21:32Speaker 03

I'ma go Beatles, just, just cause I had heard the Beatles too much in growing up. I'm really, I'm a Queen type of guy. Queen is like one of my favorite rock. What the fuck is pause about that?

• 1:21:45Adam Friedland?

No one laughed. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. No one laughed.

• 1:21:48Speaker 03

For me saying I'm a Queen type of guy, you said pause?

• 1:21:50Adam Friedland?

  I'm just kidding.

• 1:21:51Speaker 03

  Hey, that was hard though.

• 1:21:52Adam Friedland?

  I love Queen. Okay.

• 1:21:54Speaker 03

  You love Queen?

• 1:21:54Adam Friedland?

The pullout method or moving to a new city?

• 1:21:58Speaker 03

The pullout method or moving to a new city?

• 1:22:00Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:22:01Speaker 03

  New city.

• 1:22:02Adam Friedland?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You impregnate, you just go to, you disappear. Move to Mexico. Okay. Pakistan or, Pakistan or India?

• 1:22:13Speaker 03

  Pakistan or India?

• 1:22:14Adam Friedland?

Yeah, who are you going, who are you riding with? Or is that, is that a shot?

• 1:22:18Speaker 03

Is that like some controversial shit?

• 1:22:20Adam Friedland?

No, no, it's not controversial at all. Okay?

• 1:22:22Speaker 03

Pakistan or India, I'ma go, I'ma go Pakistan.

• 1:22:26Adam Friedland?

Okay. Halle Berry or Mayor Lori Lightfoot?

• 1:22:30Speaker 03

  Lori Lightfoot.

• 1:22:31Adam Friedland?

  Really?

• 1:22:32Speaker 03

She did a lot for, for the city and me, like, we got a personal relationship.

• 1:22:36Adam Friedland?

  You met Mayor Lori?

• 1:22:37Speaker 03

Yes, we had a real meeting, like a sit down in her office, like.

• 1:22:40Adam Friedland?

She's so, wow. That's your friend? I'd rather sleep with Halle Berry than her. But it's close.

• 1:22:46Speaker 03

  Me too.

• 1:22:47Adam Friedland?

Okay. World War II or US Civil War? Better, what's the better war?

• 1:22:52Speaker 03

  World War II.

• 1:22:54Adam Friedland?

  US Civil, dude.

• 1:22:55Speaker 03

US Civil War? What the fuck is the US Civil War? I've never heard of that.

• 1:22:58Adam Friedland?

The North fought the South. There was slavery.

• 1:23:00Speaker 03

The US Civil War, oh, to get out of slavery?

• 1:23:04Adam Friedland?

  Yeah, the Confederacy.

• 1:23:06Speaker 03

Right, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Nat Turner was a part of that war, right?

• 1:23:10Adam Friedland?

  No, he did the rebellion.

• 1:23:12Speaker 03

  That was before or after?

• 1:23:13Adam Friedland?

  That was before, yeah.

• 1:23:14Speaker 03

  That was before.

• 1:23:15Adam Friedland?

  That guy, he's gonna have-

• 1:23:17Speaker 03

That kinda introduced the world, the, the US Civil War.

• 1:23:20Adam Friedland?

  No, uh, the-

• 1:23:21Speaker 03

So US Civil War was like North Virginia versus South Virginia, all that shit?

• 1:23:25Adam Friedland?

  South Virginia?

• 1:23:26Speaker 03

South Virginia, his slaves, North Virginia, didn't?

• 1:23:29Adam Friedland?

South Virginia is not a place, dude.

• 1:23:31Speaker 03

South Virginia was a place before.

• 1:23:33Adam Friedland?

  West Virginia.

• 1:23:34Speaker 03

No, it was North Virginia and South Virginia before the Civil War.

• 1:23:37Adam Friedland?

  I'm pretty sure-

• 1:23:38Speaker 03

  You didn't know that?

• 1:23:40Adam Friedland?

You don't have to lie to him.

• 1:23:42Speaker 03

We gotta Google it. We gotta figure this shit out real quick before time go.

• 1:23:45Adam Friedland?

  Yay.

• 1:23:45Speaker 03

Cause now you got me feeling like I'm tripping, bro.

• 1:23:47Adam Friedland?

  Yay or the Jewish people?

• 1:23:51Speaker 03

  The Jewish people.

• 1:23:53Adam Friedland?

Thank you. Wait, could you do like an OG call?

• 1:23:56Speaker 03

  The Jewish people.

• 1:23:57Adam Friedland?

Could you do an OG call and me and him can squash this?

• 1:23:59Speaker 03

You might fuck up my relationship with him though.

• 1:24:01Adam Friedland?

I would squash. First of all, I would make it stronger. Second of all, I could squash it. We could do a benefit concert like him and Drake.

• 1:24:09Speaker 03

  They did that already.

• 1:24:10Adam Friedland?

Yeah, but him and I would do one for Harvey Weinstein or something.

• 1:24:14Speaker 03

They did it for Larry Hoover.

• 1:24:15Adam Friedland?

I know. I would do it for a Jewish prisoner, political prisoner. Cause they want us to go?

• 1:24:21Speaker 03

  Bro, he's different.

• 1:24:23Adam Friedland?

  What does different mean?

• 1:24:25Speaker 03

  He's just different.

• 1:24:26Adam Friedland?

• 1:28:16Adam Friedland?

What was the motivating factor in getting out of the environment you were in?

• 1:28:23Speaker 03

  The motivating factor?

• 1:28:24Adam Friedland?

What was the one thing that did it? And then, do you have a concept of the people that are still there? And like, how much do you think of the people that are still there?

• 1:28:33Speaker 03

  I do a lot.

• 1:28:35Adam Friedland?

  Yeah. I got, I have.

• 1:28:38Speaker 03

I'm, I think just me being who I am, I always have survivor's guilt, like no matter how like mature or how much I understand life and just like that you can't save anybody.

• 1:28:50Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:28:50Speaker 03

Like, like everybody, I mean, not anybody, everybody. I think I'mma just always have that, just knowing where I come from and want better for the people that I love. Cause it's certain people like, and like coming from my neighborhood and in my environment that just like, I'mma always want to make it out. And for example, like this is a sensitive subject, so like, um, artist Mellow Bucks, like, you know, we in business, she just hit a, uh, like an album release where it was like a mass shooting, four people got killed, 15 other people got shot, it was probably like, majority women, 10 women, like shit like that. It always just like, it's a sensitive, a very sensitive subject, you know what I'm saying?

• 1:29:35Speaker 03

And like, and some of the people that got, that were like killed, I have like personal relationships with, like my homie, his name, like Little Rock, who I rapped about, he tattooed on me, like, he was one of the first people that I, that I lost, like coming up, you know what I'm saying? Like from my neighborhood and his little brother was just killed as a part of that mass shooting, so like. It's just a different type of field. No matter where I'm in the world, I could have been anywhere and that shit has still like touched me and do certain shit to me. So I'mma always have survivor's guilt because that shit is going on. That's why it's important for me to like try to like break the cycle and and just try to help in any way possible that I can.

• 1:30:15Speaker 03

That's why I'm saying shit like that to like academics, Vlad, shit like that, to just try to get back to the city and people who actively helping the city. That's why I fuck with like out of trenches, that's why I fuck with Golden Child, that's why I fuck with the people who actually trying to make a difference in Chicago. You get what I'm saying? And like for me, it's like I've always, always been that kind of guy. Like I've always been a guy that that wanted more, you know what I'm saying, that wanted more for myself, you feel what I'm saying? Um, like the first question you asked, what is the first person you, cause I wanna like.

• 1:30:48Adam Friedland?

I just feel like what, what was the motive, like when were you like, I gotta go?

• 1:30:52Speaker 03

  Exactly.

• 1:30:52Adam Friedland?

  Cause it's like, there's a.

• 1:30:54Speaker 03

That's what I wanted to ask.

• 1:30:55Adam Friedland?

There was like a, one thing that before you came, I wanted to avoid is like, just like a freaking middle-class white guy being like, can we fix Chicago?

• 1:31:06Speaker 03

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:31:07Adam Friedland?

Can we fix Chicago? Like, no, I don't wanna like be that guy, but the question is, because you're a guy. You were a guy that was in an environment and you saved your life, right? And so, so it's like saying that some guy that that was in Vietnam, like can, can, what are you doing for the guys in, that are still at the war in Vietnam, right?

• 1:31:24Speaker 03

So like, if there, it just has to be something or somebody that wants to make a difference. If there's a will, there's a way. I feel like anything can be fixed, like anything broken can be fixed. Like, that's a crazy question, can we fix, of course, yes, yes, you can fix Chicago. And the way is resources, money. Like I come from the trenches, I come from the streets, I come from poverty, I've seen bloodshed, I know what it's like to lose somebody. I know what all of that shit is like. If you put resources into the like streets, like when I started to get money and I had things to live for, that was my changing factor. Like for me, that's why I wanted to go back and answer that question, cause I felt like it was some, a part of that that I didn't answer. And that was, the changing factor with me was having my first kid, having a child. You feel what I'm saying?

• 1:32:08Speaker 03

Like that made me like not wanna even give a fuck about nothing else, nothing else mattered to me once I had a kid. Like, because I was still that guy, like even when I was. Leaving the streets or still trying to be one foot in, one foot out, and you try to like, you know what I'm saying?

• 1:32:22Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:32:23Speaker 03

Appeal and appease to other people. But once I had a, a, a, a human that was on this earth because of me, I don't give a fuck about how the next person do this, or do that, or do this. Even though I do, like, I just said, I do have survivor's guilt, but that's not my responsibility. My only responsibility is making sure my kids live a successful life and could do whatever they want to do. You know what I'm saying?

• 1:32:47Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:32:48Speaker 03

Live a long life, live a successful life, and had the resources to be great. I'm always gonna remember where I come from. And that's why I was saying, going back to like, my son said he want to go to O Block, like. You think I don't know niggas in O Block? I could call and be like, my son want to see this shit, like. Why the fuck would I put my son in an environment where he could lose his life, or something happen?

• 1:33:07Adam Friedland?

And he's, he's from Beverly Hills, right?

• 1:33:10Speaker 03

No, no, my son, he was born in Chicago, but he moved, he didn't even spend a whole year in Chicago. My other two kids are from Bel Air.

• 1:33:18Adam Friedland?

  Yeah.

• 1:33:18Speaker 03

Not even Bel Air. They was born in Bel Air.

• 1:33:20Adam Friedland?

But do you think, you think they're like, they're little Bel Air kids? You think like?

• 1:33:24Speaker 03

All my kids, even though they're from Bel Air.

• 1:33:27Adam Friedland?

  They respect their dad?

• 1:33:28Speaker 03

  Nope.

• 1:33:29Adam Friedland?

Do you like, you, you, you see your boys and you're like, you're little softies?

• 1:33:33Speaker 03

Fuck no, hell no, no. My kids ain't soft at all, like, especially S's, like, he's super.

• 1:33:38Adam Friedland?

  He's back asleep?

• 1:33:40Speaker 03

Yeah, he was snoring again, I heard him. For sure.

• 1:33:43Adam Friedland?

  What's his name?

• 1:33:46Adam Friedland?

No, we can't say his name.

• 1:33:47Speaker 03

  Should I use?

• 1:33:48Adam Friedland?

No, it's not safe. No, no, James Bond?

• 1:33:52Speaker 03

  Fuck her.

• 1:33:53Adam Friedland?

  Herb. Fuck her?

• 1:33:54Speaker 03

  That's his name, fuck her.

• 1:33:55Adam Friedland?

Herb, give it up for Herb, guys, everyone. Thank you so much. I had a lot of fun.

• 1:34:02Speaker 03
