• 1:40Speaker 02

Ah, man, I'm glad to be here, man. It sounded like you was gonna bring up a popular stripper just then.

• 1:46Speaker 01

You know her, you love her.

• 1:47Speaker 02

Yeah, I thought I was gonna have to go, "Woo!"

• 1:50H. Foley?

Gotta say, not to put your business out there, first guest we've ever had, came into town, got a rental car, rental car broke down.

• 1:57Speaker 02

  That's a fact. That's a fact.

• 1:58H. Foley?

That's wild. What was it? What car was it?

• 2:00Speaker 02

So we had a, um, I think it was a, uh, what kind of, it was, oh, it was a Chevy Tahoe.

• 2:05H. Foley?

Okay. Respect. We do the same, same move.

• 2:08Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 2:08H. Foley?

And you got the, you got the fellows with you. We travel with the, with the big squad as well.

• 2:12Speaker 02

Yeah, and they, so, so what happened was, uh, my tour manager, he normally gets here the day before, a little bit early before.

• 2:18Speaker 01

  Sets it up.

• 2:19Speaker 02

  To get the car.

• 2:20Speaker 01

That's a good tour manager. Our guy, our guy travels with us and complains the whole fucking time.

• 2:23Speaker 02

And then you gotta wait for him to get the car. I don't wanna wait. I just wanna be able to get off the plane.

• 2:27H. Foley?

  No shit!

• 2:28Speaker 02

  And go. Wow. So, yeah.

• 2:30Speaker 01

  That's good.

• 2:30Speaker 02

Yeah, so we got it set up so we could just get off the plane, I could go, so I got off the plane and I get a text from like, yo, I'm not coming to get you because the car is not starting.

• 2:39Speaker 01

  Ah, shit.

• 2:40Speaker 02

Because he had checked into the hotel.

• 2:41H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 2:42Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, so when I get there, I already had the key, I can go straight to my room.

• 2:45Speaker 01

  That's big.

• 2:46Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 2:47Speaker 01

We waiting there and they go, you got ID, they go to wifi's this, to breakfast at six, to ten. Shut up, give me the key.

• 2:53H. Foley?

Wait, hold on, you already, you've already been to the hotel?

• 2:55Speaker 02

No, he, he had already been to the hotel.

• 2:57H. Foley?

  Gotcha.

• 2:58Speaker 02

Checked us in, so then when I got there, he could just hand me the key.

• 3:00H. Foley?

I like this, I like this.

• 3:01Speaker 02

  Yeah, it's, it's a nice, like, process.

• 3:04H. Foley?

  I understand.

• 3:04Speaker 01

They don't like giving the key out.

• 3:05H. Foley?

  They don't.

• 3:06Speaker 01

You go, hey, can we pre-check so when we're there, we can just pick up? They don't like doing it.

• 3:10Speaker 02

I don't know what they think you're gonna do.

• 3:12Speaker 01

  It's crazy. It's crazy.

• 3:14Speaker 02

I don't know, but yeah, so he called me, said the car broke down.

• 3:17Speaker 01

  That's awesome.

• 3:18Speaker 02

So then I had to take an Uber and I had to go eight miles, I had to go eight miles.

• 3:21Speaker 01

  Takes an hour.

• 3:22Speaker 02

Eight miles, eight miles took fifty-six minutes.

• 3:27Speaker 01

  Yeah, it's crazy.

• 3:28H. Foley?

He says he doesn't like the traffic here.

• 3:29Speaker 02

They got, because it's like, they got all these buildings, but not enough roads to get to them.

• 3:34Speaker 01

I, I, sometimes I'll, I'll get out and just, I'll just get out and walk and go, that's it.

• 3:38Speaker 02

  You might as well.

• 3:38Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's brutal.

• 3:40Speaker 02

You might as well, I saw a pigeon moving fast on those days.

• 3:43H. Foley?

We're glad you got here safe.

• 3:44Speaker 01

  Yeah, man, appreciate it.

• 3:45H. Foley?

No worries at all, let's go back to the beginning, give us the origin story of Mojo Brooks, we know you're a Chicago guy.

• 3:49Speaker 01

  Chicago kid, right?

• 3:51Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, big Chi-town guy, born and raised on the west side of Chicago.

• 3:54H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 3:54Speaker 02

  Hubble Park area.

• 3:55H. Foley?

  Nice.

• 3:56Speaker 02

  Um, you know.

• 3:57H. Foley?

  Brothers, sisters?

• 3:58Speaker 02

I grew up, I grew up with, uh, my tour manager's actually my brother.

• 4:01H. Foley?

  Get out of here.

• 4:02Speaker 01

  No shit.

• 4:02Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's actually my brother, yeah, so.

• 4:06Speaker 01

What, who is, who's in the squad, because there's, you're all four, I think four deep?

• 4:10Speaker 02

Is it, no, we three deep, and I normally don't come three deep, I don't normally.

• 4:13Speaker 01

  I respect you.

• 4:14H. Foley?

Yeah, I love it, I love, we roll sixty, I don't give a fuck, everybody goes everywhere, I don't give a fuck.

• 4:19Speaker 02

So I got, so my brother's my tour manager, then TJ is my security.

• 4:24Speaker 01

  That's the big guy?

• 4:25Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and we've been together for fifteen years.

• 4:28Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 4:28Speaker 02

So before I even needed security. You know, he was, he was there.

• 4:34H. Foley?

Did TJ, TJ offer his services to you, early?

• 4:37Speaker 02

You know what, honestly, I was doing, I was a party promoter. So, we used to have him and his brother come and do

• 4:45H. Foley?

  Security.

• 4:45Speaker 02

Security at the party. So, once I moved into, you know, the entertainment space of, you know, being a performer, I'm like, yo, you know, you my security. And he, and he didn't take it serious at first. He used to show up with flip flops on and shit. I'm like, what if something happened? You got on flip flops. You gotta fight, yeah. You, you must know, nobody's gonna do nothing to me. So, you know.

• 5:06H. Foley?

Throwing the flip flops like an Iraqi reporter?

• 5:08Speaker 02

So now, he went from that to now, he'll put a pair of all black Air Force Ones on.

• 5:12H. Foley?

  There you go.

• 5:13Speaker 02

So I know, yeah, he gonna keep me safe.

• 5:14H. Foley?

He looked professional when he came in.

• 5:16Speaker 02

Yeah, and then my cousin Devon, um, you know what I'm saying, we, he, uh, he lives in Virginia. Okay. So, you know, anytime I'm on the east coast, he come out and hang out.

• 5:24H. Foley?

Oh, I love it. Very nice.

• 5:25Speaker 02

That's good. Close circle, I like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we tight, we tight.

• 5:29H. Foley?

So, go ahead. What'd your mom do, what'd your dad do? Tell us the whole story.

• 5:32Speaker 02

So, my mom, uh, my mom for a long time worked for McDonald's Corporation and it's just a safety department. No shit. Good job. Yeah, so we ate McDonald's for years.

• 5:41H. Foley?

Wait, hold on, isn't McDonald's University at, in Chicago?

• 5:44Speaker 02

Yes, she used to work at the campus. Get the fuck out of here. She took us to the hamburger university where they go in and they train the managers. Oh yeah, we seen all that stuff. Like, all of it. Like, I mean, we used to, my mom used to get the McChicken patties and bring them home. At the house. We'd have them at the house. Patties, the tenders, the pancakes. You're getting the big man a lot of them. Bro, listen to me, I'm McDonald's out. Like, I, I, I, I, we done had so much McDonald's over the years. It's like, it's crazy, yeah.

• 6:13H. Foley?

Like, you got the patties like you would get like, the, the chicken patties at the grocery store. You got them like that.

• 6:17Speaker 02

Yeah, they in the plastic, in a clear plastic bag. She'd drop them in, I mean, and they, they actually tasted better at home.

• 6:23H. Foley?

Yeah, cuz you could probably do your own stuff with them.

• 6:25Speaker 02

And then, we didn't have all those fancy buns. We had regular Wonder Bread.

• 6:28H. Foley?

  That's awesome.

• 6:29Speaker 02

You know what I'm saying? You my type of guy.

• 6:31H. Foley?

I bet you that shit was good.

• 6:33Speaker 02

Talking about McDonald's off the jump, big man's in.

• 6:35H. Foley?

  Making it at home?

• 6:36Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you don't gotta go nowhere.

• 6:38H. Foley?

Your mom's like a movie star.

• 6:42Speaker 02

  So, so my dad.

• 6:43H. Foley?

  What's Grimace really like?

• 6:47Speaker 02

So, my dad, my dad was a, my dad was a hustler.

• 6:51H. Foley?

  Nice.

• 6:51Speaker 02

And then, you know, he, he knew he had the kinda... Provide a life where he would be around with his family. So he end up, you know, starting his own business as a general contractor. No kidding.

• 7:03Speaker 01

  Very nice.

• 7:04Speaker 02

And he went on to be very successful with that and.

• 7:07Speaker 01

  That's great.

• 7:08Speaker 02

You know, took care of the family and um, I think I'm the first entertainer in our family. Uh, so everything is a little different to them, you know.

• 7:17Speaker 01

Yeah, we have, we have a similar, similar vibe to it. What the hell are you doing?

• 7:21Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 7:21Speaker 01

Until he starts seeing some of the checks and like, oh, that's working out, that's working out.

• 7:25Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then, you know, I bought my dad a car and. There you go. I don't care what I ever said about what you do. You keep going. You keep going. All that real, all that real job shit I said. Yeah, yeah. You're good. Fuck it, don't worry about that. What'd you get for him? I bought him a um, a 2025 BMW X6. Let's go. Let's go. Man, we're getting to it early. His BMW, he, he wanted the 745 L-Lab, but they don't make the 745 anymore. So he.

• 7:53Speaker 01

  They don't make it anymore?

• 7:54Speaker 02

  No.

• 7:55Speaker 01

  Why not?

• 7:55Speaker 02

  I don't know.

• 7:56Speaker 01

  Damn.

• 7:57Speaker 02

But they don't make it. That was, when we was kids, that was the car he wanted. He's always saying, man, I want a BMW, I want a BMW. I'm gonna tell y'all a quick story about that. Please. So we, we used to go and test drive the BMWs with no intention of buying one.

• 8:08Speaker 01

  I picked up on that.

• 8:10Speaker 02

You talking to the salesman. Dude, you're built for the show. Bro, you, you have no intention of buying one. So we would, we would go, we would test drive them. And you know, he'll be asking all these questions like, like pops, we've been here 20 times, I'm not buying this car. So we, I remember we were driving home one day and he was like, I'mma get that car one day, I'mma get it one day. And I took it upon myself and I was like, pops, I'mma buy you the car.

• 8:34Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 8:35Speaker 02

And he was like, alright, remember you gotta keep your word. So the first opportunity I thought I had to buy a BMW, I was a sophomore in high school.

• 8:42Speaker 01

What? The hell you doing in sophomore in high school with a 745?

• 8:46Speaker 02

Can I tell y'all what happened? Of course you can. Let me get there. So y'all remember the show Fear Factor?

• 8:51Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 8:52Speaker 02

Okay, so Fear Factor was coming to the high schools in Chicago.

• 8:56Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 8:57Speaker 02

And they were doing like a special taping of the students for a chance to win $75,000.

• 9:02Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 9:02Speaker 02

So when they came to my class, they, they gave us the, you know, the consent form. I could, went home, I said, pops, I slammed the paper on the desk, I said, I'm going on Fear Factor, I'm gonna win the money, we gonna get the BMW. So I went to school the next day, I was turning in my consent form and they had the rep from, from Fear Factor come and they was like, listen. The first challenge in order to be on the show. Not I turn this in and I'm already on it.

• 9:26Speaker 01

  Uh huh.

• 9:26Speaker 02

You gotta do some shit to get on it.

• 9:28Speaker 01

  Uh huh.

• 9:28Speaker 02

Things like the first challenge you gotta do is lay in a bathtub full of rats.

• 9:34Speaker 01

  Oh, hell no.

• 9:35Speaker 02

So I went back home and I told my dad, I don't think you're gonna get the car right now.

• 9:40H. Foley?

  No shit dude.

• 9:41Speaker 02

I got your bus pass as well. I don't think, you gotta wait a couple of years. So then, once I finally, you know, got into a space where, you know, I'm touring, I'm doing well.

• 9:49Speaker 01

  Sure.

• 9:49Speaker 02

  I wouldn't have got it.

• 9:50Speaker 01

  I love the confidence though.

• 9:51H. Foley?

Yeah, me too. He had that car, he had that car till the iguanas came out.

• 9:54Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought, I thought I was gonna have to go eat a couple ants or something. I didn't did, I didn't did that on accident a couple times anyways. But rats, that's where I draw the line.

• 10:03Speaker 01

  Damn dude.

• 10:04H. Foley?

  Rats and snakes.

• 10:05Speaker 02

Yeah, I can't do the rats at all. I don't even like to watch a snake eat a rat. Like, that's how bad, I can't even do it.

• 10:11Speaker 01

  Scary.

• 10:12Speaker 02

  I can't do it.

• 10:12Speaker 01

Oh shit, okay. Uh, were you a good student?

• 10:16Speaker 02

Was I a good student? Uh, when you say good student, like, did I get good grades?

• 10:21Speaker 01

  I don't know, but that's a good answer. Your honor, that's a good answer.

• 10:25Speaker 02

Or did I get in trouble when I was in class?

• 10:27Speaker 01

Uh, a little bit of both.

• 10:28Speaker 02

  Um, you know what? I wasn't, I wasn't a, a misbehaved child.

• 10:33Speaker 01

  Uh huh.

• 10:33Speaker 02

Um, but I was very lazy in school.

• 10:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 10:36Speaker 02

So, you know, my mom used to say, you, you got the potential to get straight A's.

• 10:40Speaker 01

  You just got by though.

• 10:41Speaker 02

  I just got by.

• 10:42H. Foley?

Did you take the SATs or the CATs?

• 10:44Speaker 02

Yeah, I took that. Yeah, I took that. The SAT. Was that to go to high school?

• 10:48Speaker 01

  You go to college, yeah.

• 10:50Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 10:51H. Foley?

  You remember what you got?

• 10:52Speaker 02

Yeah, some bullshit, like, like a thirty-six or something.

• 10:55Speaker 01

  Oh, the ACT, yeah.

• 10:56H. Foley?

ACT, I know what that is.

• 10:58Speaker 02

Yeah, ACT, it was something like that.

• 10:59H. Foley?

  What'd I say, CAT?

• 10:59Speaker 02

  SA, they got two though.

• 11:00Speaker 01

SAT, we, the east coast takes the SATs and then I guess the Midwest does the, uh...

• 11:05Speaker 02

ACT, yeah. Well, all of them is some bullshit anyway.

• 11:08Speaker 01

Did you, did you apply to college? Did you go to college?

• 11:10Speaker 02

So I end up going to this school called Westwood College. You know the colleges that got the commercials?

• 11:15Speaker 01

Uh huh, sure, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 11:16Speaker 02

You wanna be in criminal justice? We are hands-on. We teach you how to do fingerprints, investigate crimes, and I fell for it and I went there. And...

• 11:25H. Foley?

Well, you wanted, you wanted to be in...

• 11:27Speaker 02

  I wanna be a criminal, I, I got a, a degree in criminal justice.

• 11:30Speaker 01

  From Westwood.

• 11:31Speaker 02

  From Westwood College.

• 11:32Speaker 01

  Nice.

• 11:32Speaker 02

But the, the credits, the, the school ended up going out of business. So they, they end up, I, they were still trying to get the financial A loans and I'm like, but the school don't exist, so who am I paying?

• 11:43Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm, who's getting the money?

• 11:45Speaker 02

  Who getting the money?

• 11:46H. Foley?

  Oh yeah, fuck that.

• 11:47Speaker 02

Yeah, so anyways, I ended up, uh, I ended up going, I finished, but thank God, they cleared up my, uh, student loans, so I don't owe, I don't owe anybody.

• 11:56H. Foley?

That's good. So what did you want to do with that? You wanted to get in law enforcement? You want to be a private investigator?

• 12:01Speaker 02

  I wanted to be...

• 12:04Speaker 01

  No shit, pick it up!

• 12:06H. Foley?

If you need to. We don't need, we'll cut it up there.

• 12:12H. Foley?

  Take your time.

• 12:12Speaker 01

Buddy, take your time, I said hello.

• 12:14H. Foley?

  We'll pause it.

• 12:14Speaker 02

  Yeah, pause it, right?

• 12:15Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, of course.

• 12:22Speaker 01

Damn, you got, calling you on fucking vacation.

• 12:25H. Foley?

  Very fucking cool.

• 12:26Speaker 02

  You handling business right now.

• 12:28H. Foley?

  Very cool.

• 12:29Speaker 01

That's the coolest shit I've ever seen.

• 12:30Speaker 02

Trying to take this thing to the next level.

• 12:31Speaker 01

  I love it.

• 12:33Speaker 02

Alright, where was he, where was he at?

• 12:35Speaker 01

I'm in Spain, I'm in, I'm in Madrid right now.

• 12:38H. Foley?

For the listeners out there, Mojo just got an incredibly important phone call from one of the biggest guys in Hollywood.

• 12:44Speaker 01

  That's crazy.

• 12:44H. Foley?

A second first here on the show, from a broken down rent a car to that, was wild.

• 12:50Speaker 02

  It was crazy.

• 12:51H. Foley?

  It was wild.

• 12:52Speaker 02

You know what, I appreciate you guys allowing me to take that call, man.

• 12:55H. Foley?

Of course, what, what are you gonna say, no?

• 12:56Speaker 01

That's the most famous I've ever been, dude. I'm gonna call my mom when I get done with this.

• 13:01H. Foley?

  That was fucking awesome.

• 13:03Speaker 01

  That was wild, dude.

• 13:05Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 13:05Speaker 01

  Uh, very cool.

• 13:06H. Foley?

  So criminal justice school, huh?

• 13:08Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, wanted to be a cop, wanted to be a cop, wanted to be a lawyer. I wanted to be a judge, man.

• 13:14H. Foley?

  Really?

• 13:14Speaker 02

  Yeah, but see, remember-

• 13:15H. Foley?

  A judge in Chicago?

• 13:16Speaker 01

Like a TV judge, that'd be pretty good.

• 13:18Speaker 02

You know what, now I want to write a show like that, where, but I don't want to be the judge. Like, I want to do like a show where, like, I'm the, the lawyer for all the baby daddies in the world.

• 13:29H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 13:30Speaker 02

And you gotta come to this court first before we determine if you go to the big court to put your baby daddy on child support. But I wanna represent the good fathers that get put on child support and they shouldn't be on there. Gotcha. You know what I'm saying? But I wanna be, I wanna be the lawyer. I don't wanna be the judge. Gotcha. I feel like everybody always is the judge. I don't wanna be the judge. That makes sense. But I did wanna be like, like, seriously, I was really like, wanted to be an FBI agent. I wanted to do all that shit, man, but, you know, as, you know, like you was talking about my crew. I got in trouble when I was seventeen years old. Okay. For what?

• 14:05Speaker 02

Your honor? Your honor. Well, what happened? No, I haven't, but no. Honestly, it was real, it wasn't as bad as how it looked. You know what I'm saying? You really, you don't realize how serious shit is till it gets serious. Of course. Uh, so after that, it was kinda like, you know, I got my criminal justice degree. And I almost was a Chicago police officer, but I started going viral right before they called me to come back into the county. Gotcha. And I was like, I'd rather tell jokes than get shot at. I'm with you. Sure. Makes sense. What was your first job? What was the first job you ever had? My first job I ever had, I was a cashier at Wendy's. Nice. Well, what'd your mom think about that? You got excited, look at him. What'd your mom think about that? Uh, you know what? That's like going against the family.

• 14:49Speaker 02

Was it, it was Wendy's. It was Wendy's, but I was there maybe about a year, year and a half, and then, but everybody's in my family. My mother has got them a job at McDonald's. Gotcha. Everybody, so. So you worked there? I'd have where I worked at McDonald's, a few different McDonald's. How'd you like that? The, not, the restaurant, not the. The restaurant. I'd worked at different locations though. He wasn't a professor at the university. No, no. If he was a professor, he could've, you know, would've been security or something. I was a drive-thru captain though. What's, a drive-thru captain? What's the captain? Some shit I made up. I was the best, I was the best at working a drive-thru. I used to hype them up. They used to come up, they used to have these, uh, they started the strawberry lemon, this frozen strawberry lemonade they used to do. This is how I got the drive-thru captain position, because of how excited I used to be to sell it.

• 15:33Speaker 02

So they'd come through the drive-thru and I'd be like, "Welcome to McDonald's. Would you like to try our new strawberry lemonade?"

• 15:40H. Foley?

  Pretty good.

• 15:41Speaker 02

And they'll be, ah, I wasn't gonna get one, but now I want one now. And right then and there, I sold the most strawberry lemonades in history. Look this shit up, man.

• 15:50H. Foley?

  Look it up.

• 15:51Speaker 02

  Look it up.

• 15:51Speaker 01

  That's a printed stat.

• 15:52Speaker 02

Google it, man. Chat GPT, I was the strawberry lemonade seller of the year.

• 15:57H. Foley?

Do you get a piece of that? Do you get any commissions on that?

• 16:00Speaker 02

  From McDonald's?

• 16:00H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 16:02Speaker 02

They gave me some coupons, bro. I used to have, like, oh man, I missed, that's what I missed. My mom used to have, like, free, free Big Mac meals or free value meal. Like, we used to have these cards in our wallet, like, look at you, you wish you had one.

• 16:18Speaker 01

Dude, I just, I just got lost in his eyes.

• 16:19Speaker 02

  You did. Pause, pause, pause.

• 16:22Speaker 01

  Yeah, I'm on it.

• 16:23Speaker 02

But, we definitely used to, man, we used to have that type of shit. Free dessert, free, free apple pies, I mean, when I tell you she was locked in at McDonald's, I mean, even to this day, though, she's still got friends that still work for the company or whatever, but, I love it.

• 16:37Speaker 01

One of, one of the questions I would love to ask, because it happened to me many, a handful of times at a McDonald's drive-through, did, would anybody not have the money to cover the paint? Like, would their card get declined?

• 16:47Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 16:47Speaker 01

And what would you do? You just gotta go, I mean, because that's happened to me a handful of times where I'd order, and then you get to pay, and they'd be like, your card didn't go through, I didn't have enough cash.

• 16:54Speaker 02

Let me tell you something, how serious I was about being a drive-through captain.

• 16:58H. Foley?

  The captain?

• 16:59Speaker 02

The captain, this is how serious I was. A guy came through one day, swiped his card, I handed it back to him, and he drove off. But it, it got declined. He went to the next window. They was handing him the food. Before he can get the food in his hand, I had ran to the next window and took the food back.

• 17:16Speaker 01

  Damn.

• 17:18Speaker 02

And said, your card declined. Do you have another card or not? And he had another card, and I took the food and went back, and I swiped that card.

• 17:26Speaker 01

  Go through?

• 17:27Speaker 02

  No.

• 17:29H. Foley?

Get the hell out of my line!

• 17:30Speaker 02

I said, take that shit to Burger King.

• 17:35Speaker 01

  This is McDonald's, sir.

• 17:36Speaker 02

Take that broke shit to Burger King.

• 17:39H. Foley?

What are your thoughts on Burger King?

• 20:50Speaker 02

  Uh, what do you mean?

• 20:51H. Foley?

  What do you think?

• 20:52Speaker 02

When I think about it right now?

• 20:54H. Foley?

Yeah, right, oh, see, I like where your head's at.

• 20:56Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 20:57H. Foley?

What do I think about it right now? Man, we are on the same page.

• 21:00Speaker 02

  You see what I'm saying?

• 21:01H. Foley?

Yeah, I know exactly what you're saying.

• 21:02Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 21:02H. Foley?

Uh, I know exactly what you're saying.

• 21:04Speaker 02

Uh, you know, I don't know if it's the same-

• 21:06H. Foley?

  No, not-

• 21:07Speaker 02

As it used to be, but you know what, I can honestly say that about a lot of food now.

• 21:10H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 21:10Speaker 02

None of this shit is the same.

• 21:12H. Foley?

  Mm-mm.

• 21:12Speaker 02

I don't know what the fuck they give us.

• 21:13H. Foley?

I gotta be honest with you, though. It might just be the one by me, where I live. The Mickey, the Mickey D's, they're still banging it.

• 21:21Speaker 02

  Really?

• 21:22H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 21:22Speaker 02

What do you like from McDonald's?

• 21:24H. Foley?

  Wow.

• 21:24Speaker 02

  Everything.

• 21:25Speaker 01

  I don't have enough time.

• 21:26Speaker 02

Bro, he like, they don't even got the shit I like on the menu no more. He go there and make his own shit.

• 21:32H. Foley?

  Listen-

• 21:32Speaker 02

Give me a Big Mac, big and tasty.

• 21:34H. Foley?

Yeah. Yeah, the the McDLT I used to like back in the day. No.

• 21:39Speaker 02

Did you, did you, you ever try the Mighty Wings?

• 21:41H. Foley?

  No, I never.

• 21:42Speaker 02

  Oh my god.

• 21:43H. Foley?

  Get out of here.

• 21:44Speaker 02

Bro, they used to have chicken wings. They used to be called the Mighty Wings, bro. Let me tell you, when I worked at McDonald's.

• 21:49H. Foley?

  Really?

• 21:49Speaker 02

I used to put them bitches in my pocket.

• 21:51H. Foley?

  I don't remember that.

• 21:52Speaker 02

And go to the Mighty Wings.

• 21:54H. Foley?

They might have only been doing that in Chicago. It could have been a test market.

• 21:56Speaker 02

No, they, it was other places that hit, man. Look at the Mighty Wings.

• 22:00Speaker 01

  Mighty Wings McDonald's.

• 22:01Speaker 02

And they had a little bit of spice to them.

• 22:03H. Foley?

I couldn't do that. I would have, I would have trouble with bone in chicken at a fast food place.

• 22:08Speaker 02

  Bro, no.

• 22:08Speaker 01

  But KFC?

• 22:10H. Foley?

  I can't, I don't fuck with that either.

• 22:11Speaker 02

  You don't fuck with KFC?

• 22:12H. Foley?

I'd fuck with KFC heavy, but I don't get the chicken with the bone in it anymore.

• 22:16Speaker 02

  Why?

• 22:17H. Foley?

  I don't know.

• 22:17Speaker 01

  What do you get?

• 22:18H. Foley?

I get the little snack, the little snackers.

• 22:20Speaker 02

You rather get the boneless chicken?

• 22:21H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 22:22Speaker 02

That's the shit you can't trust?

• 22:23H. Foley?

Yeah, I don't know what it is. It's about the bone in the chicken. It freaks me out. I don't know why.

• 22:28Speaker 02

  The bone in the chicken?

• 22:29H. Foley?

  Yes.

• 22:30Speaker 02

So you rather just eat boneless meat?

• 22:32H. Foley?

Yeah. Same thing with Popeyes. Popeyes, I get the chicken sandwich.

• 22:36Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 22:37H. Foley?

And I'm big on the mashed potatoes.

• 22:38Speaker 02

Now, that's a badass sandwich though at Popeyes. The spicy one.

• 22:42H. Foley?

  Forget it.

• 22:42Speaker 02

And they would sleep on it. I think I was the first one to knew about it.

• 22:46H. Foley?

  That was shit.

• 22:46Speaker 01

This guy's been at the forefront of fast food.

• 22:48H. Foley?

  That blew up very quick.

• 22:50Speaker 02

I swear to god, before it blew up like that, I had had tried that chicken sandwich a month before.

• 22:57Speaker 02

And I was calling people like, yo, that fucking chicken sandwich. Because my favorite spicy chicken sandwich used to be at Wendy's.

• 23:03H. Foley?

  Yeah, it was unbelievable.

• 23:04Speaker 02

It ain't the same no more.

• 23:05H. Foley?

  Nah.

• 23:06Speaker 02

It ain't even no meat in it. It's just.

• 23:08H. Foley?

I'll tell you what, Wendy's spicy wings, or spicy, uh.

• 23:12Speaker 01

  Nuggets.

• 23:12H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 23:13Speaker 01

  It's, it's a.

• 23:14H. Foley?

  They hit.

• 23:14Speaker 02

  Ten out of ten.

• 23:15H. Foley?

  Ten out of ten.

• 23:16Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 23:16H. Foley?

  But I'm a Mickey D's guy, and that's not, that's.

• 23:18Speaker 02

Yeah, no, I, I, you know, I could still, I, I ate so much of it, I could probably still do a filet of fish. No cheese though, no cheese.

• 23:26H. Foley?

  Really?

• 23:27Speaker 02

  Yeah, no cheese.

• 23:27H. Foley?

I like, I like, I like it with the tartar and I throw a pickle on there too.

• 23:30Speaker 02

  Easy tartar though.

• 23:32H. Foley?

  They go crazy.

• 23:33Speaker 02

Sometimes they just slap that shit on there. You see what I'm saying?

• 23:36H. Foley?

  It's wild.

• 23:36Speaker 02

It's all down your hand. I can't have it like that. I can't have it like that. Pause again. Fuck.

• 23:41Speaker 01

It's as long as I've ever played pause, dude.

• 23:42Speaker 02

We need to count the pauses on this, on this episode.

• 23:45Speaker 01

Uh, I was speaking of food that we're, we're in it a little bit. What's, uh, what's the palate like now that, uh, you're experiencing some of the finer things? Are you going out to nicer restaurants?

• 23:55Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 23:55Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 23:56Speaker 02

But I've been doing that though, but.

• 23:57Speaker 01

  Really?

• 23:57Speaker 02

Yeah, not, when I was eating McDonald's, I was definitely broke, but, um.

• 24:01Speaker 01

Like, you're in New York? For a couple of days?

• 24:03Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 24:04Speaker 01

Do you have anything lined up or eyed up that you want to do?

• 24:06Speaker 02

I was gonna ask you guys to send me a couple of restaurants, you know, that you thought.

• 24:09Speaker 01

  You can do that.

• 24:10Speaker 02

But he gonna take me to the Mickey D's by his house.

• 24:12Speaker 01

Under the fucking, under the L, dude.

• 24:15Speaker 02

To show me how good the one by his house is.

• 24:17H. Foley?

The apple pies are better here, right?

• 24:20Speaker 02

But while I'm in New York, though, I have like, you know, I've been here a few times. I haven't really, you know, gotten the opportunity to really like, really explore the city. You know, of course, I've been at Times Square. Last year I performed at, um, at the Town Hall.

• 24:35Speaker 01

We did Town Hall. Very great venue.

• 24:37H. Foley?

  Love it.

• 24:37Speaker 01

We did one, no need to rub it in.

• 24:39Speaker 02

Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

• 24:42Speaker 01

You know, things are still going very well over here, Mo.

• 24:44Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Y'all did, but one is one. One is better than none. Y'all did two shows one night.

• 24:54Speaker 01

Yeah, this guy's awesome. Somebody who just gets the show right away. Anybody else would have been like, eh, you're just doubling down on it. I love it.

• 25:04Speaker 02

But no, I wanna, you know, I wanna go see, I wanna go see that woman in the water.

• 25:11H. Foley?

  What woman in the water?

• 25:16H. Foley?

  What are you talking about?

• 25:17Speaker 02

You know, the one in the water.

• 25:18Speaker 01

  Oh, Statue of Liberty.

• 25:18H. Foley?

  Oh, Statue of Liberty.

• 25:20Speaker 02

I wanna go see that bag.

• 25:21Speaker 01

I thought it was a play or something.

• 25:23H. Foley?

That's what I'm saying, Little Mermaid?

• 25:24Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Y'all thought I knew about that lady out here. That's, that's it.

• 25:30H. Foley?

You wanna go see the Statue of Liberty?

• 25:31Speaker 01

  That's a good time.

• 25:32Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 25:33H. Foley?

  There you go.

• 25:33Speaker 01

It's easy. Hop on the boat, it'll zoom right by. It's good.

• 25:36Speaker 02

  Zoom right by?

• 25:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 25:37Speaker 02

They don't take you to it?

• 25:38Speaker 01

You can go, yeah, but it's also, you can just kinda wait.

• 25:40H. Foley?

Well, if you wanna, if you wanna do it, if you wanna do it for free, you take the Staten Island Ferry, which is free, from down there to Staten Island and back, you go right by it.

• 25:47Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 25:47H. Foley?

But if you wanna go over there and do the tour and all that shit, you can.

• 25:49Speaker 02

Cause they walk you up, right?

• 25:51H. Foley?

I, they, I don't know what the deal is now.

• 25:53Speaker 02

They don't got no elevator anymore?

• 25:54H. Foley?

  I don't know.

• 25:55Speaker 01

  I've never done it.

• 25:55H. Foley?

And it might be, it's a little hit and miss these days with, with the construction or whatever they have going on in there.

• 26:00Speaker 02

  They fixing it up?

• 26:01H. Foley?

Probably doing something to that bitch.

• 26:02Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Some. You know, they always need some maintenance.

• 26:05H. Foley?

  Always.

• 26:06Speaker 02

  Always need some maintenance.

• 26:07H. Foley?

  Luke, you know?

• 26:09Speaker 03

Uh, going up is only gonna cost you 25 to 27 bucks.

• 26:12Speaker 02

See what I'm saying? You got that? There you go. Do you got, is it an elevator or is it stairs? I don't think there's an elevator. Gotta be an elevator. How could that? It was like built in like the 1700s. Damn. It wasn't built in 1700 though, because they brought her, cause she was with another man and they brought her here. There's a French dude I heard. Yeah. She was with him and she left him.

• 26:31Speaker 03

There is an elevator to the pedestal.

• 26:33Speaker 02

There you go. Okay, I could do that. I ain't taking no stairs. Yeah. Alright, well maybe I'll go do that tomorrow. There you go, that's a good time. Yeah. Alright. Uh, hmm. What was your first concert? My first concert, it was so, it's a concert, it's an annual concert they do in Chicago every year called The Big Jam. And it was, oh, this is a good story. I like this. So, uh, the lineup had Lil Bow Wow, Beyonce was the headliner. What year is this? This is 2004. Whoa. Put on by the radio station. Yeah, it's by W G C I. I like this. And y'all will not believe, so, this was when my mom got the tickets through McDonald's Corporation. There we go.

• 27:14Speaker 02

McDonald's had their own skybox in the United Center, so we used to go to the Black Hawks, the Bulls game. And concerts they had here that we would sit in the skybox. You will not believe, we sitting in this skybox, you will not believe who's in a skybox right next to us. Jay-Z. R. Kelly. Whoa! R. Kelly. So, as a point in the show, it got real dark, right? And then you just start hearing him singing. Yeah, and I just heard all the ladies like, "Hold on, where my daughter? Where my daughter?" So, so, but...

• 27:49Speaker 02

He was... Took me a second. Yeah, yeah. He was right ne- but he was right next to us and he was singing from the skybox and... Oh, singing from there? From the skybox. Damn. He was in the skybox right next to us. That's sick. And that was the first time that I had ever, uh, seen him. And I ended up meeting him like, like years, years down. I met him like a few months before they ended up coming to get him. No bullshit, I met him.

• 28:12Speaker 01

  That's a great first concert.

• 28:14Speaker 02

Yeah, it was star studded, yeah, yeah, yeah, it was star studded.

• 28:17H. Foley?

  That's a good first concert.

• 28:18Speaker 01

  What was your first car?

• 28:20Speaker 02

My first car, I had a 1999 Chevy Malibu.

• 28:25Speaker 01

Okay, what year are we talking, 2000?

• 28:27Speaker 02

I got it, no, hell no, I got that. I got that in like 08.

• 28:33Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 28:33Speaker 02

Yeah, I got it in 08, and it ain't, but you know what? That car gave me about two, three good years before it said fuck it.

• 28:41Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 28:41Speaker 02

Yeah, it gave me about two, three, the Malibu, I missed the boo. Devin, you remember the boo? He remember, he was out there in the Malibu.

• 28:50Speaker 01

That's alright, what color was it?

• 28:51Speaker 02

It was silver, I had the tinted windows on there, I put a TV, radio in there, and I had some sounds in there, I had two 12s in the back.

• 28:58Speaker 01

  Two 12s in the Malibu.

• 28:59Speaker 02

Slamming coming through the hood in the Malibu.

• 29:01Speaker 01

Really? That's everything's rad, the mirrors and shit are rattling off.

• 29:03Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 29:05Speaker 01

What, uh, was it the screen that popped like?

• 29:07Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, you remember that?

• 29:09Speaker 01

Do I, I wanted one so bad.

• 29:11Speaker 02

  So bad.

• 29:12Speaker 01

My boy had one in a pickup truck, and we were like, what the?

• 29:15Speaker 02

Man, and then I used to try to hook it up myself, because I didn't have no money, had nobody do it. So my shit only would do like certain things, like, it would only come out, but you couldn't pick the song, you had to play whatever came on.

• 29:25Speaker 01

  Whatever it was on.

• 29:27Speaker 02

When it looked too good, when the girls got in the car like, oh, you got a screen!

• 29:31Speaker 01

Dude, that and TVs in the headrests, in the early 2000s, that's all they rapped about, spinning rims, Lamborghini doors, and TVs.

• 29:38Speaker 02

  TVs in your car.

• 29:40Speaker 01

You wanted in your car. That's the big thing, I want to go back, I want to buy a 2005 Escalade, so bad.

• 29:44Speaker 02

  Ain't nothing wrong with that.

• 29:45Speaker 01

  I want it so bad.

• 29:47Speaker 02

  Put the TVs on it.

• 29:48Speaker 01

The listeners know, and they send them to me, like, this one's only four grand, this one's eight grand.

• 29:52Speaker 02

Man, go get you one, man, shit.

• 29:54Speaker 01

Maybe two shows at town hall, I can pull it off.

• 29:56Speaker 02

Only live one, yeah, well, two shows at town hall, you definitely be able to do it.

• 30:00H. Foley?

Any weird pets growing up, any frogs, any snakes, turtles?

• 30:04Speaker 02

  Nah, we black.

• 30:07Speaker 02

Farthest we going is a dog. We had a shih-tzu. You had a shih-tzu, okay. We had a shih-tzu, he died. What happened? He had Cushing's disease and he had diabetes. Oh, your dog had diabetes? Yeah, my grandfather was feeding him Oreos.

• 30:22Speaker 01

See, you're gonna get that sugar. You better knock that shit off, big dog.

• 30:27Speaker 01

You're gonna get Cushing's disease or whatever the fuck you have.

• 30:29Speaker 02

Bro, he couldn't walk, he couldn't see, he was blind. It was fucked up. It was sad to see him go.

• 30:33Speaker 01

Yeah, it's tough when, it's tough when they get old like that.

• 30:35Speaker 02

I never heard of a dog having diabetes, man, it's crazy. Man, fuck that, diabetes and Cushing's disease at the same time. It's like having gonorrhea and chlamydia both, and you don't know which one fucking you up the worst.

• 30:47Speaker 02

  It's crazy.

• 30:52Speaker 01

Uh, how, how old were you when you got your passport?

• 30:58Speaker 02

Uh, shit, that wasn't, that wasn't not too long ago. Uh, maybe, maybe, shit. I got my passport maybe about five years ago. Cool. Yeah, around the pandemic, yeah, about five years ago.

• 31:11Speaker 01

  Traveling for work?

• 31:12Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 31:12Speaker 01

  Yeah, nice.

• 31:13Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm on the same page, I didn't get mine until I was... Cause I didn't have a need to go out, I didn't have enough money to go out the country. What the hell I need a passport for? When's the first time you were on an airplane? My mom said when I was a little boy. Little boy, okay. What were the vacations like growing up? Vacations, uh, man, they took us to Disney when we were kids. No kidding? Yeah, on the Greyhound.

• 31:35Speaker 01

  Yeah, oh.

• 31:36Speaker 02

Yeah, we spent more time on the bus than we did at Disney.

• 31:38Speaker 01

  Holy shit.

• 31:40Speaker 02

  Long ass ride, bro.

• 31:42Speaker 01

That's gotta be like two days.

• 31:43Speaker 02

This is your mom, your dad? My mom, my dad, my brother, and my little sister. And you. And me. Holy shit, God love your parents. We, boy, my god. And I took my daughter, uh, a couple of years ago, and... On the bus? Hell nah.

• 32:00Speaker 01

  What the fuck?

• 32:01Speaker 02

  First class, baby.

• 32:02Speaker 01

Probably had some shit we don't even know about.

• 32:03Speaker 02

I told my parents, we don't do that broke shit no more.

• 32:08Speaker 02

Nah, but, uh... Look at that, look at that. No, but I mean, I'll never forget that. Sure. I will never forget the first time that we went and how we got there. Because I think, honestly, as a family, when we talk about it now, we talk more about the bus ride than the actual trip, bro. So, yeah, no, Disney, our favorite vacation spot used to be Wisconsin Dells.

• 32:31Speaker 01

The Dells are big out there.

• 32:32Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We used to go to the Dells almost every summer.

• 32:35Speaker 01

  That's good. It's a good vacation.

• 32:36Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We used to have a good time in the Dells. Family reunion stuff, but, you know. Not bad. Pretty classy.

• 32:42Speaker 01

What, uh, what's a vacation look like now for you?

• 32:44Speaker 02

Uh, Jamaica, you know. You like Jamaica? I like Jamaica. All-inclusive or you get a house? No, no, no. I've been doing an all-inclusive thing, but I'm about to step it up now and start getting like villas, like private, you know, private stuff. With you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Same, I went to St. Martin at the top of the year.

• 32:59Speaker 01

  That's rich guy shit.

• 33:00Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. This year I'm gonna go to St. Lucia. St. Lucia's real nice. Yeah, that's what I heard, that's what I heard. Don't go during hurricane season. September to October, jam you up. September, October, yeah.

• 33:10Speaker 01

He's never been, he's never been there.

• 33:11Speaker 02

I was gonna go. Okay. I was gonna go. But...

• 33:15Speaker 01

  See what that happened was.

• 33:16Speaker 02

They don't got the same McDonald's out there that they got by his house. He said, "Fuck that, I can't go that many days without it." They wouldn't deliver that far, man. What do you mean, too? Yeah, but those are the type of vacations that I'm, that I'm into now. Um, I mean, but I, like I said, I took my daughter to Disney and stuff like that. Like, we went to the Mall of America. I treated that like a vacation for her, so.

• 33:37Speaker 01

  That's cool.

• 33:37Speaker 02

Yeah, you know, I'm doing a lot of different things. Like, I'm gonna try to take to St. Lucia. Normally, what I try to do in between my touring is like, like, I'm on an arena tour right now with Mike Evans.

• 33:46Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 33:46Speaker 02

So, when I get off of that and go into my full headline theater and arena tour myself, I like to take like maybe a few days just to go out to country, put the phone down and just kinda, you know. And then you, you, you out there, you end up writing, you end up writing material.

• 34:00Speaker 01

Mm-hmm. Yeah, you gotta live a life worth commenting on, you know what I mean?

• 34:04Speaker 02

I wrote, I wrote one of my best jokes in Jamaica about something that happened while I was there.

• 34:08Speaker 01

  Yeah, great.

• 34:09Speaker 02

So, yeah. Sharp. I like it. Yeah. Very classy.

• 34:12Speaker 01

How many suits do you own?

• 34:14Speaker 02

How many suits do I own? Man, I used to own a lot of suits. I used to wear suits to my shows.

• 34:20Speaker 01

  On stage?

• 34:20Speaker 02

Yes. Um, man, right now, I probably got one suit.

• 34:25Speaker 01

  One suit.

• 34:26Speaker 02

  I probably got one suit.

• 34:27Speaker 01

  Designer?

• 34:28Speaker 02

It is designer, Louis Vuitton. What? Yeah.

• 34:32Speaker 01

That might be the best answer we've gotten so far, right?

• 34:34Speaker 02

  Very classy.

• 34:35Speaker 01

  What's that set you back?

• 34:36Speaker 02

  Uh, I think I was.

• 34:38H. Foley?

  Twelve hundred?

• 34:38Speaker 02

Nah, about three grand. There you go.

• 34:40Speaker 01

  Very nice, very nice.

• 34:42Speaker 02

  He's writing it down.

• 34:44H. Foley?

  Louis Vuitton's very good.

• 34:46Speaker 02

They about to rob me after this, y'all.

• 34:48H. Foley?

You're pulling, I'm keeping track, you're pulling yourself out of the Greyhound bus.

• 34:51Speaker 01

He spelled Louis Vuitton wrong too, by the way, there's no way that's right.

• 34:54H. Foley?

  I spelled it Voltron.

• 34:55Speaker 01

I don't even need to look, it's wrong.

• 34:58H. Foley?

That's for my own personal, I'm not turning this in.

• 35:01Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 35:01H. Foley?

I'm not getting graded on my gram.

• 35:02Speaker 02

  I'm not turning this in.

• 35:04Speaker 01

  Show your work. Um, okay.

• 35:07H. Foley?

Very nice. Can you tie a tie?

• 35:09Speaker 02

  No.

• 35:09Speaker 01

  No?

• 35:10Speaker 02

  No, no.

• 35:12Speaker 01

So do you do a tie on stage or do open, like the?

• 35:14Speaker 02

No, I don't wear suits on stage anymore, but, uh,

• 35:17Speaker 01

  When you did.

• 35:18Speaker 02

If I need to tie a tie, like, my momma do it.

• 35:20Speaker 01

  Uh huh.

• 35:20Speaker 02

  My dad would do it.

• 35:21H. Foley?

  There you go.

• 35:22Speaker 02

My security PJ, he'll do it. He tied the last time.

• 35:25H. Foley?

  He don't send a tie a tie?

• 35:25Speaker 02

  Hell yeah.

• 35:27H. Foley?

  Valuable man.

• 35:27Speaker 02

He's a bow tie type of guy.

• 35:29Speaker 01

  Whoa.

• 35:29Speaker 02

And I tell him, you too big for that.

• 35:31Speaker 01

  But if.

• 35:31H. Foley?

  He wears a bow tie?

• 35:32Speaker 02

  He wears a bow tie.

• 35:33H. Foley?

I bet you look scary in a bow tie.

• 35:34Speaker 02

  It does.

• 35:35H. Foley?

  Yeah, it's intimidating.

• 35:36Speaker 01

Kinda does, cause it's like, he's so big, but this is like, not that threatening, but he is.

• 35:40Speaker 02

And I feel like, long tie for a big guy gives principle.

• 35:43Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 35:44H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 35:44Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 35:45H. Foley?

Yeah, him in a bow tie, that would, that would.

• 35:46Speaker 02

He does it, he does it all the time.

• 35:48H. Foley?

I'd be checked by that, I'd be like, who am I supposed to with this guy?

• 35:50Speaker 02

  Whoa, whoa, yeah.

• 35:51H. Foley?

Yeah, big guy in a bow tie like that?

• 35:52Speaker 02

  In a bow tie, yeah.

• 35:53H. Foley?

  Nah.

• 35:53Speaker 02

  He's serious about shit.

• 35:54H. Foley?

  Yes.

• 35:55Speaker 01

You need your security to be serious about shit.

• 35:57Speaker 02

  You do.

• 35:59H. Foley?

I think he's playing Playstation right now.

• 36:01Speaker 02

  He might be.

• 36:03H. Foley?

  Let's talk about, uh, travel.

• 36:05Speaker 02

  Let's talk about it.

• 36:06H. Foley?

Uh, you like flying up front?

• 36:08Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 36:08H. Foley?

  Excellent.

• 36:09Speaker 02

  First class type of guy.

• 36:10H. Foley?

Very nice. Do you take your shoes off on a plane?

• 36:12Speaker 02

  No.

• 36:13H. Foley?

Will you bring food on a plane?

• 36:15Speaker 02

  Sometimes.

• 36:15H. Foley?

  What are we talking about?

• 36:17Speaker 02

  McDonald's.

• 36:18Speaker 01

You're bringing McDonald's on the plane in first class?

• 36:20Speaker 02

You know what, listen, hear me out.

• 36:23Speaker 01

  Nope.

• 36:23Speaker 02

  Hear me out.

• 36:24H. Foley?

  That's crazy.

• 36:25Speaker 02

Because I do still enjoy McDonald's breakfast. So sometimes if I'm going through the airport and I'm like, oh, this is gonna be like, if I gotta fly to LA from Chicago, that's a four hour flight.

• 36:34Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 36:34Speaker 02

Let me get me some breakfast, cause sometimes the food that they give you in first class isn't always that good.

• 36:38H. Foley?

  For sure.

• 36:39Speaker 02

But they do got some good shit though.

• 36:41H. Foley?

  For sure.

• 36:41Speaker 02

Like American Airlines got this short beef rib.

• 36:47Speaker 01

The burger on Delta, Delta throws out, we're a Delta family.

• 36:50Speaker 02

  The Shake Shack?

• 36:51H. Foley?

No, it's trash. They used to do their own burger for a while.

• 36:54Speaker 01

  Oh, they switched?

• 36:55H. Foley?

  Yeah, they switched.

• 36:56Speaker 02

  They collabed with Shake Shack.

• 36:58Speaker 01

I didn't know that. It used to be their own burger.

• 36:59H. Foley?

  It was wild.

• 37:00Speaker 01

  Fantastic.

• 37:01Speaker 02

United Airlines got like a grilled chicken over rice, that's, that's pretty good. There's a couple of things that they got as good, but if they don't, like, sometimes I, like, you can see the menu before you get on a plane. And I'm like, I ain't gonna eat none of that, I'm gonna eat something.

• 37:13H. Foley?

Let me ask you this, because this has kind of been a hot button issue with some of the, some of our comic friends on the show.

• 37:18Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 37:18H. Foley?

When we travel, we like to get to the airport, not early, but we get there very on time so that us as a squad can sit down and have a meal together, have breakfast together, we just fly in the morning.

• 37:29Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 37:29H. Foley?

So we'll have breakfast at one of the places in the morning.

• 37:32Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 37:33H. Foley?

How do you feel about that?

• 37:33Speaker 02

  Yeah, you're fucking safe.

• 37:37Speaker 02

I get to the gate when it's time to board.

• 37:39Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 37:40Speaker 02

I get to the airport when it's time to board.

• 37:42H. Foley?

Yeah, but you're bringing filet of fish on the goddamn plane.

• 37:44Speaker 02

Yeah, but then you can sit on a plane, you can eat, at least I'm on my way. I, it's something about just sitting in the-

• 37:48H. Foley?

At least I'm on my way.

• 37:49Speaker 02

It's just about sitting in the airport where it's like, bro, it's just, you know, the last time I was sitting in the fucking airport, COVID happened. I stopped that shit. Once people start getting sick, I go right, like, drop me off 15 minutes before the flight board. That's enough time for me to get to security with all the TSA pre-check and all that shit.

• 38:07H. Foley?

Your pre-check, your clearing, all that stuff?

• 38:09Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you get right to the gate, now it's time to go.

• 38:12H. Foley?

How do you, how do you feel about dropping the seat back?

• 38:15Speaker 02

How do I feel about it?

• 38:16H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 38:16Speaker 02

I drop that bitch back as soon as they tell me I can.

• 38:19H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 38:19Speaker 02

You know what I'm saying? As soon as, you know, as soon as I hear that, boom!

• 38:23Speaker 01

  Yeah, you're down.

• 38:24Speaker 02

We reach 10,000 feet, pop, pop right back.

• 38:27Speaker 01

You a window or an aisle guy?

• 38:29Speaker 02

  Window. Window more comfortable.

• 38:31H. Foley?

Keep the window up? You like to look at what's going on down there?

• 38:34Speaker 02

It depends on if the person next to me trying to look out my window.

• 38:37Speaker 01

  You don't like that.

• 38:38Speaker 02

  Don't look out my window.

• 38:39H. Foley?

  Wait, what?

• 38:40Speaker 01

You wouldn't like me, I like looking.

• 38:41Speaker 02

  I pick this fucking seat.

• 38:42Speaker 01

  I like the window.

• 38:42Speaker 02

This is my window, and if I see you lean over me looking out, I'mma shut that bitch.

• 38:46H. Foley?

  No shit?

• 38:47Speaker 01

We would not get a look.

• 38:48Speaker 02

Look out that side of the plane.

• 38:49H. Foley?

  Really?

• 38:50Speaker 02

  Yeah, what you looking at?

• 38:51H. Foley?

You're up there together, it's a special thing.

• 38:53Speaker 02

No, it's not. That's my window. If I decide I wanna lean my head on my window, I can lean my head on my window. But why are you leaning over me? What the fuck are you looking for?

• 39:04Speaker 01

He's looking at your filet o fish.

• 39:07Speaker 02

I'd rather you look at that than out my window.

• 39:09H. Foley?

I sometimes sit there and look at that like a kid on a bus.

• 39:11Speaker 02

  Out the window?

• 39:12H. Foley?

  Oh, I love it.

• 39:13Speaker 02

  Yeah, you know.

• 39:14Speaker 01

  Especially if it's clear.

• 39:14Speaker 02

I don't, you know, some days, I sleep at some like, like now it's like automatic. It's like my body knows when I'm on a plane and it's like, it's time to go sleep.

• 39:23Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 39:23Speaker 02

Yeah, unless, unless, unless you gotta shit.

• 39:27Speaker 01

  You shit on a plane?

• 39:28Speaker 02

Hell, yeah, I just did that today.

• 39:31Speaker 02

Hell, fucking yeah. And I'm gonna tell you something. I think, I think they should put a little bit of water in there, in the toilet because, bro, cuz the shit, it gets all.

• 39:43Speaker 01

  It's bad.

• 39:44Speaker 02

Bro, and I had to flush that bitch eight times the other day.

• 39:47H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 39:48Speaker 02

You know what I'm saying? Cuz if somebody would've came in behind me, they would've been like, bro. Who did this?

• 39:52H. Foley?

  That water's a hu- that water's a huge barrier.

  I'm gonna ask him.

• 52:26Speaker 01

Um, when was the last time you did karaoke?

• 52:31Speaker 02

Uh, the night that, uh, my daughter was conceived.

• 52:34Speaker 01

  Really?

• 52:35Speaker 02

Yes, I'm not singing no more.

• 52:37Speaker 01

Do you remember what the song you were singing was?

• 52:39Speaker 02

Uh, it was my girl, The Temptations.

• 52:42H. Foley?

  Whoa!

• 52:43Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 52:43Speaker 01

Great song. And you had a daughter?

• 52:45Speaker 02

  And I had a daughter.

• 52:46Speaker 01

  That's pretty wild.

• 52:47Speaker 02

I made a daughter that night.

• 52:48H. Foley?

  That's crazy.

• 52:49Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 52:50H. Foley?

  That's a nice story.

• 52:51Speaker 02

And it was the first night I ever drunk beer.

• 52:53Speaker 01

  Really?

• 52:54Speaker 02

I don't drink beer no more.

• 52:55H. Foley?

  No?

• 52:55Speaker 02

  Mm-mm.

• 52:56H. Foley?

What kind of beer was it, do you remember?

• 52:58Speaker 02

No, they brought it in the fucking jug.

• 53:01H. Foley?

  In a pitcher?

• 53:01Speaker 02

For all I know is, I don't fucking know.

• 53:04Speaker 01

Damn. But do you drink at all, or that was this?

• 53:07Speaker 02

  Uh, I drink, I occasionally.

• 53:09Speaker 01

  Occasionally, yeah.

• 53:09Speaker 02

I eat, I eat edibles now.

• 53:11H. Foley?

  Gotcha.

• 53:12Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 53:12H. Foley?

  Respect it.

• 53:13Speaker 02

  I fuck with it.

• 53:14Speaker 01

You doing crazy levels edibles, or just something small?

• 53:16Speaker 02

  Wait, what's a, what's crazy levels?

• 53:17Speaker 01

I don't know, what are you doing?

• 53:20H. Foley?

You got kids twenty, thirty milligrams?

• 53:22Speaker 02

  Uh, I, I, I, twenty.

• 53:25H. Foley?

  Really? You'll pop a twenty?

• 53:26Speaker 02

Man, I go on stage off twenty.

• 53:28H. Foley?

No shit. You're on stage with a twenty?

• 53:29Speaker 02

Bro, you gotta think though, the, the, the type that I eat though, cause you know it's different kind, so I'm a sativa guy as one.

• 53:36H. Foley?

  Uh huh.

• 53:36Speaker 02

And then they have different edibles that kinda like focus on, um, you know, i- i- it makes you focus, i- i- is, it, it helps you tap in with your creative side.

• 53:46H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 53:47Speaker 02

So sometimes, um, you know, when I really wanna write, cause most times I write on the stage.

• 53:53H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 53:54Speaker 02

When I really wanna write, I'll eat one and I'll go up there and cook.

• 53:57H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 53:57Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 53:58H. Foley?

  Damn.

• 53:58Speaker 02

  He gonna try it.

• 54:01Speaker 02

He gonna try it, that twenty gonna kick in, I can't go out there.

• 54:04H. Foley?

  Freaks out dude.

• 54:04Speaker 02

  I can't go out there.

• 54:05H. Foley?

I'm on a fifty right now, what are you talking about? Take all the time.

• 54:08Speaker 02

Yeah, nah, ten, twenty, ten, twenty is it, but, you know, some nights, you know, I might, I might do fifty.

• 54:17Speaker 02

If I wanna chill and have a good time. It ain't that bad, I won't go no higher than fifty.

• 54:22H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 54:22Speaker 02

Bro, I used to get some back, bro, couple of years ago, this dude used to, bro, they was twenty-five milligrams and them bitches used to hit hard. Like, they used to hit so hard, I had to stop eating them because I would still be high the next day.

• 54:35H. Foley?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. With the residual with it, yeah.

• 54:38Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 54:38H. Foley?

Yeah, I'm not good with that shit.

• 54:40Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 54:40H. Foley?

I'm not good with drugs. That's an understatement, um. What about a wedding? Will you dance at a wedding?

• 54:47Speaker 02

Yeah, I would dance at a wedding.

• 54:48H. Foley?

  Dance at a wedding?

• 54:49Speaker 02

  At whose wedding?

• 54:49H. Foley?

I don't know, you tell me.

• 54:51Speaker 02

Like, if I got married, I would dance at my wedding.

• 54:53H. Foley?

Of course, okay. Your brother gets married, you dancing at the wedding?

• 54:55Speaker 02

  My brother is married.

• 54:56H. Foley?

Did you dance at, did you dance at the wedding?

• 54:58Speaker 02

He got married at the courthouse.

• 55:00H. Foley?

  Ooh.

• 55:00Speaker 02

So they wasn't allowing no dancing.

• 55:03H. Foley?

  Hey, knock that shit off.

• 55:04Speaker 02

Yeah, I tried to do the cha-cha slide and they, they put us out.

• 55:07H. Foley?

Let me ask you this, you go to a, um, a family member's kid's wedding, so it's like, you know, a- Cousin or something. Cousin or something like that, younger in your family. What are you doing in the envelope? What are you dropping on that? What's the gift? What's the gift?

• 55:22Speaker 02

  It's a family member's, who's the family member?

• 55:25H. Foley?

  Who's the family member?

• 55:26Speaker 02

  Yeah, you tell me.

• 55:27H. Foley?

  A cousin's kid.

• 55:29Speaker 02

A cu- one of my cousin's kids?

• 55:31H. Foley?

  Yes. Somewhat close.

• 55:33Speaker 02

  Okay, someone-

• 55:34H. Foley?

One of your good friend's kid, or if one of your good friends is, you know, a little bit younger, they're getting married.

• 55:40Speaker 02

  One of my good friends?

• 55:41H. Foley?

  It's not a stranger.

• 55:42Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 55:42H. Foley?

  You're not, you're not-

• 55:43Speaker 02

  How close are we?

• 55:45Speaker 01

  I like this.

• 55:47Speaker 02

I just gotta know for context, I don't wanna lie. We're close.

• 55:50Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 55:52Speaker 02

  And they're getting married.

• 55:52Speaker 01

Give me your, give me your close and then give me what the guy who's not that close is.

• 55:56Speaker 02

  Okay, close.

• 55:57H. Foley?

Like if your girl was like, hey, we gotta go to this wedding.

• 56:00Speaker 02

If my girl was like, we gotta go to this wedding, it's, it's her people's.

• 56:03H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 56:04Speaker 01

Yeah, what are they, what's in there, what are they getting?

• 56:06Speaker 02

  Oh, them her people.

• 56:07Speaker 01

  That's her problem.

• 56:08H. Foley?

  Oh, really?

• 56:09Speaker 02

Yeah, what the fuck am I giving them some money for? They should be happy I showed up. What the fuck?

• 56:15Speaker 01

  He's out there signing autographs.

• 56:19Speaker 02

Now, okay, bam, I got a godson, right?

• 56:21H. Foley?

  Alright, there you go.

• 56:22Speaker 02

If my godson was to go and get married.

• 56:25Speaker 01

  Uh huh.

• 56:26Speaker 02

You know what I'm saying, and he was doing well for himself, to start him off, I would probably give him anywhere between five to 10,000.

• 56:35Speaker 01

What? Yeah, I'm with that fuck your girl's friends, family, yeah.

• 56:40Speaker 02

But if my girl, like, if it was her people, like, why am I, that don't even make sense.

• 56:46H. Foley?

  You're not gonna throw 500?

• 56:48Speaker 02

  For what?

• 56:50Speaker 01

Dude, the way he's answering that is like, it's such a staunch no. It's like, dude, I don't know.

• 56:55H. Foley?

And you can't even give him shit because he's got 5, 10 Gs on the other side.

• 56:58Speaker 02

  That's what I'm saying.

• 56:59Speaker 01

Now, you did say if he's doing well, like, if the kids will, like, show in, like, he's.

• 57:04Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 57:05Speaker 01

And you're gonna, I wanna help out, like, this, this kid's, this kid's really working, he's learning, whatever it is.

• 57:10H. Foley?

  What if he's not?

• 57:10Speaker 01

And what if he's not, you, you throttle that back to be like, I'm not letting you, I'm not giving you this to go blow, or whatever.

• 57:15Speaker 02

Yeah, well, first of all, why are you getting married?

• 57:18Speaker 01

  Damn.

• 57:18H. Foley?

  Wow, that's very, very sharp.

• 57:20Speaker 02

Yeah, why are you getting married?

• 57:21Speaker 01

  I didn't think of that.

• 57:21H. Foley?

  Whoa.

• 57:22Speaker 02

Yeah, why are you getting married?

• 57:22Speaker 01

You don't even have your shit together.

• 57:24Speaker 02

  That shit ain't together.

• 57:24Speaker 01

You're gonna ruin this, this girl's life.

• 57:26Speaker 02

You gonna fuck her life up? Nah, brother. You ain't gonna fuck my money up with her.

• 57:33Speaker 02

Do that shit to her, I'm gonna keep my money.

• 57:34Speaker 01

  Damn.

• 57:35Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 57:36Speaker 01

  What a smart.

• 57:37H. Foley?

  Very, very well thought through.

• 57:39Speaker 01

  Deeper level answer. Holy shit.

• 57:44Speaker 01

  That's brilliant.

• 57:45H. Foley?

Any splitting of the checks at a restaurant?

• 57:48Speaker 02

  No.

• 57:48H. Foley?

  Nice.

• 57:49Speaker 01

I assume you go out with most people, you're, rather than I assume the people that called you.

• 57:53Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 57:54Speaker 01

In your day to day life, you're picking up most checks.

• 57:56Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm picking them up. Cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Most, most of the, most of the time. Maybe like if my agents, um, my agent take me out.

• 58:03Speaker 01

  They get that.

• 58:04Speaker 02

  They, they'll take.

• 58:04H. Foley?

And if you went out with either one of the people that contacted you, you're not reaching for the check on that, are you?

• 58:09Speaker 02

  Uh.

• 58:10Speaker 01

  Maybe out of a.

• 58:11Speaker 02

Out of, I would, I would offer, but knowing both of those guys, they not gonna let me do it.

• 58:16Speaker 01

I, I would argue with those two dudes, that check doesn't even come to the table.

• 58:20H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 58:20Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 58:21Speaker 01

That's, they're not like, oh, hey, mister so and so.

• 58:23Speaker 02

Yeah, here's the check, yeah, no.

• 58:25Speaker 01

  Dig into your pocket.

• 58:26H. Foley?

Here's my Capital One card, right?

• 58:28Speaker 02

  No, I couldn't like, I couldn't, maybe, maybe.

• 58:33H. Foley?

That's something they might get mad at, too.

• 58:35Speaker 02

Maybe they let me buy them a drink. Maybe we having a drink. I got the drinks.

• 58:38Speaker 01

Yeah, just something out of a, as a gesture.

• 58:40H. Foley?

Whatever it is, they would laugh at that.

• 58:42Speaker 02

I mean, yeah, I mean, they just so much, they just so rich.

• 58:45Speaker 01

Yeah, it's crazy, crazy, truly crazy.

• 58:48Speaker 02

What the fuck are we talking about?

• 58:49Speaker 01

  I know, yeah.

• 58:49Speaker 02

Oh, yeah, Mojo, you bought me a beer, yeah. Thank you, my guy, like, what the fuck? Uh, I mean, I would go around telling everybody, man, yeah, I about to buy a pair of beer, bro.

• 59:00H. Foley?

Let me ask you this. When you first started getting, you know, a few big checks, was there anything that you, was there any silly purchase? You know, like a jet ski or anything crazy like that?

• 59:10Speaker 01

It didn't even have to be that big of a check, but just like you spent most of the check on something that you shouldn't.

• 59:15H. Foley?

Because if you would have won the seventy-five thousand.

• 59:17Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 59:18H. Foley?

You would have bought your dad a car.

• 59:19Speaker 02

Yeah, it wouldn't have been a BMW.

• 59:21H. Foley?

  No.

• 59:22Speaker 02

I'd have got him a Ford Focus or something.

• 59:24H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 59:24Speaker 02

Um, uh, I just, I got a check. No, I don't think I ever like got a big lump sum of money and made a purchase that was like, ah, I'm just doing something.

• 59:34H. Foley?

Have you always been pretty smart with the, with, with, with your finances, to a degree?

• 59:38Speaker 02

When I started getting a lot of money?

• 59:40H. Foley?

  Uh huh.

• 59:40Speaker 02

Yeah, like, but when I was, you know, check to check, yeah, if it was either the car note or some McDonald's I was paying, I was getting the McDonald's.

• 59:48H. Foley?

  I'm with you.

• 59:49Speaker 02

But now it's like I make so much money that it's easier to manage it, cause it's like, bro, it's nothing, you know, it's, it's nothing that I, that, it's nothing that I want, that I can't get, and it's nothing that I like absolutely have to have where I gotta go break the bank to get it.

• 1:00:04Speaker 01

There's nothing you're, you're doing in a week where you're like, what the heck?

• 1:00:07Speaker 02

Yeah, I'm not, I'm not about to go spend. A hundred grand in a week. You know what I'm saying? I might go to the store, go shop. Like, I went shopping yesterday, spent like eight thousand on clothes.

• 1:00:17Speaker 01

What's that look like? Do you like, what store, what, where were?

• 1:00:21Speaker 02

Amiri. I went to the Amiri. I got this yesterday, these jeans and this hoodie.

• 1:00:24H. Foley?

  Who's Amiri?

• 1:00:26Speaker 02

Mike Amiri. He got his own clothing brand. You don't know him?

• 1:00:29H. Foley?

  The comic?

• 1:00:29Speaker 02

  He's white.

• 1:00:30H. Foley?

  Oh. Mike Amiri?

• 1:00:32Speaker 02

  I think he's white.

• 1:00:32Speaker 01

  Cool guy, Luke Wood.

• 1:00:33Speaker 03

  Yeah. Amiri jeans, very big.

• 1:00:34Speaker 02

  Is he white?

• 1:00:35Speaker 03

  Uh, I don't know.

• 1:00:36Speaker 02

  Find out.

• 1:00:36Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:00:37Speaker 02

I feel like you should know.

• 1:00:38Speaker 01

I like how he's bossing you around.

• 1:00:40Speaker 02

I just realized what his job was, so I saw you do it. Shit, look it up.

• 1:00:45Speaker 03

  He is white.

• 1:00:46Speaker 02

  He is white.

• 1:00:47Speaker 03

  Yeah, handsome white guy.

• 1:00:48Speaker 02

Yeah, I didn't say that. He took it too far.

• 1:00:50Speaker 01

  Pause, pause, pause.

• 1:00:51Speaker 02

Pause. But yeah, no, Mike Amiri. Uh, Louis Vuitton. I got a Louis Vuitton yo-yo.

• 1:00:57H. Foley?

  Louis Vuitton yo-yo?

• 1:00:58Speaker 02

Yeah, I wish I'd have brought it with me, because I knew you guys would probably like it.

• 1:01:01H. Foley?

  What are we, idiots?

• 1:01:02Speaker 02

Like, I gotta show it to you.

• 1:01:04Speaker 01

  What's that say?

• 1:01:05Speaker 02

A Louis Vuitton yo-yo is, uh, that costed me...

• 1:01:10H. Foley?

  Why did you buy that?

• 1:01:11Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 1:01:12Speaker 01

  As you can.

• 1:01:12Speaker 02

  You wanna know the truth?

• 1:01:13H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:14Speaker 01

Oh, there, he's got it. Your boy's got it.

• 1:01:15Speaker 02

  Yo.

• 1:01:16Speaker 01

Man, that's a good security guard.

• 1:01:17Speaker 02

Let me see it. That's the Louis Vuitton yo-yo.

• 1:01:19Speaker 01

  He's got a Glock and a Louis Vuitton yo-yo.

• 1:01:22Speaker 02

  Look at that.

• 1:01:22Speaker 01

  In the cross body.

• 1:01:23H. Foley?

  That's crazy.

• 1:01:24Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:01:24Speaker 01

  Whoa. That's heavy as shit.

• 1:01:26Speaker 02

  Yeah. It's the real deal.

• 1:01:28Speaker 01

You said you didn't make any stupid fucking purchase.

• 1:01:30Speaker 02

Yeah, I just bought that, though.

• 1:01:31H. Foley?

  Huh?

• 1:01:32Speaker 02

I just bought that. It was seven hundred bucks.

• 1:01:34Speaker 01

  Oh, that's less than I...

• 1:01:35Speaker 02

  That ain't bad.

• 1:01:36Speaker 01

  That's less than I expected.

• 1:01:37Speaker 02

  See that?

• 1:01:38H. Foley?

Was, did they have that at the counter, like an impulse buy?

• 1:01:40Speaker 02

Bro, it was like, I don't know. So, I went and I noticed that, uh, a lot of big dudes wear small people's clothes. So, we was at Louis Vuitton, and they didn't have my sizes or anything. Like, they'll have my size in the pants, but the top, somebody bought it.

• 1:01:55Speaker 01

  Somebody bought.

• 1:01:56H. Foley?

  Okay.

• 1:01:56Speaker 02

  So, you know, somebody just...

• 1:01:57Speaker 01

Oh, damn well it doesn't zip.

• 1:01:58Speaker 02

Don't even zip, you know what I'm saying? Pisses me off. He said, "That's my rule."

• 1:02:02Speaker 01

  That's how I knew. I'll walk around and say I'm a medium.

• 1:02:05H. Foley?

  I respect that.

• 1:02:05Speaker 02

I was so frustrated, and I was like, "Man, y'all, y'all don't got nothing." I was like, "I need something to wear to the show tonight." And I looked in the case, and I saw this. And I was like, what is that? And the guy was like, it's a yo-yo. I said, let me see it. And he, and he gave it to me and, and like, you know, kinda started, you know, yo-yoing it.

• 1:02:21H. Foley?

  Uh huh.

• 1:02:21Speaker 02

And, uh, I was like, how much is it? And he was like, several hundred bucks. I said, fuck it, y'all don't got nothing else. Let me buy the yo-yo. And then I instantly started, you know, using the yo-yo and he was like, before I go on stage and shit like that.

• 1:02:35Speaker 01

  You do it.

• 1:02:35Speaker 02

  It like kinda.

• 1:02:36H. Foley?

  Ah, relaxes you.

• 1:02:37Speaker 02

It relaxes me. And, and I was like.

• 1:02:39Speaker 01

It works a different part of your brain a little bit.

• 1:02:40Speaker 02

Yeah, so now I take my yo-yo everywhere.

• 1:02:43Speaker 01

  I like that, that, no.

• 1:02:44Speaker 02

  I found something.

• 1:02:45Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:02:46Speaker 02

Yeah. So somebody said I might be on a spectrum because of this.

• 1:02:49H. Foley?

  No.

• 1:02:50Speaker 02

  I don't think so.

• 1:02:50H. Foley?

  No, I think that's good.

• 1:02:51Speaker 02

  Thank you.

• 1:02:52H. Foley?

You brought that from, what the hell are you doing with a yo-yo to, very smart.

• 1:02:55Speaker 02

  Very.

• 1:02:56Speaker 01

  It helps the creative process.

• 1:02:57Speaker 02

Thank, it does. Yeah, it does.

• 1:03:00Speaker 01

  I mean, you know.

• 1:03:01H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 1:03:03Speaker 01

Uh, this is, this is a very unique. Kate, that motherfucker's got a fucking Louis Vuitton yo-yo on his, in his hand.

• 1:03:11Speaker 02

  I do.

• 1:03:11H. Foley?

I mean, I don't really see, you know. The only thing I really heard was the Greyhound bus and what the fuck, man? Humble beginnings.

• 1:03:20Speaker 01

You're blinded by the McDonald's, the golden arches though.
