On today’s episode, Andy & DJ are joined in the studio by Tim Grover. They discuss the true price of becoming a winner, what it takes mentally, physically, and emotionally to separate yourself from the pack and dominate at the highest level. They also cover DC residents heckling authorities at a federal checkpoint amid ramped-up government presence, and the WNBA clash that saw three players ejected after a heated Sun-Sky brawl.

What is up guys, it's Andy Pizzella and this is the show for the realists. Say goodbye to the lies, the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking reality. Guys, today we have Andy and DJ Cruz of the motherfucking internet. That's what we're gonna do. And then we got a, we got a plus one too.

• 0:35Andy Frisella?

  Mr. Tim Grover.

• 0:39Andy Frisella?

  What's up, man?

• 0:40Speaker 01

Everything is excellent. I'm at one of my favorite places with one of my favorite human beings.

• 0:44Andy Frisella?

  That's mutual.

• 0:45Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 0:46Andy Frisella?

That's mutual. If you guys don't know, Tim is one of the greatest performance coaches ever, both mental and physical. He has coached a number of the legendary athletes that you guys know of, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan. If you've seen The Last Dance, you've seen Tim, he's in there. Dwyane Wade, I mean, all kinds of guys. Done some stuff with, with our buddy Bryce up there in Philadelphia.

• 1:13Speaker 01

Yeah, we've done, we've added a couple, you know, we've added Max Crosby.

• 1:17Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:17Speaker 01

  From the Las Vegas Raiders.

• 1:18Andy Frisella?

  Stud.

• 1:19Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 1:20Andy Frisella?

  Stud.

• 1:20Speaker 01

Yes. Paul Skeens from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

• 1:24Andy Frisella?

  Also stud.

• 1:25Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:25Andy Frisella?

  The best of the best.

• 1:26Speaker 01

  Well.

• 1:27Andy Frisella?

That's, that's who goes to Tim. The best of the best. And I just so happen to be a very fortunate man to get to call Tim and have a good friendship with him and he helps me out as well, so.

• 1:42Speaker 01

  We help each other out.

• 1:43Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:43Speaker 01

That's what, that's what it's about. There's no, what's awesome about our relationship and the relationship with First Form and all the clients, it's never a one-way street. It's never, it's never a one-way street.

• 1:57Andy Frisella?

That might be a lie. He might be lying a little bit.

• 1:59Speaker 01

No, no, not, not, not, not, not at all. You know, I can call you for anything. You know, you can call me for anything. It's like I've always said, you know, if I needed a car, I'd say, Andy, he'd send me anything I'd, yeah, whatever, whatever I want. I'd just say, pick, pick one and literally it would be at my door the next day. No questions asked.

• 2:17Andy Frisella?

  That's a fact.

• 2:18Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 2:18Andy Frisella?

But DJ wouldn't be driving it there.

• 2:21Speaker 01

  Wouldn't make it.

• 2:23Andy Frisella?

I thought you said DJ was coming.

• 2:24Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 2:25Andy Frisella?

So what's been going on, man?

• 2:27Speaker 01

Everything is excellent, man. Everything is excellent. Taking care of my health, getting into some new ventures and, you know, I wanted to really expand this relationship that we have. We, um,

• 2:40Speaker 01

you cannot really find too many. Everyone talks about being like-minded. And there's very few individuals that are actually like-minded. You know, what I think about us is

• 2:55Speaker 01

our minds are like beautifully haunted.

• 2:57Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 2:58Speaker 01

  Well, they're like, yeah.

• 3:00Andy Frisella?

That's a nice way of saying it.

• 3:01Speaker 01

  There's a nice, yeah. You know, they're, they're, they're beautifully haunted, but

• 3:07Speaker 01

  we've gone through some stuff.

• 3:08Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 3:09Speaker 01

We've gone through some stuff, you know, and, um,

• 3:15Speaker 01

I tell everybody, everybody talks about their dreams, all the other stuff is just like,

• 3:22Speaker 01

how you get to this point

• 3:25Speaker 01

is how you deal with your nightmares.

• 3:28Speaker 01

And both you and I have dealt with some, dealt with some nightmares.

• 3:32Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, man.

• 3:32Speaker 01

And continue to deal with them.

• 3:34Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 3:34Speaker 01

You know, everybody, before you can daydream, before you can daydream, you gotta deal with what the nightmares that visit you at night.

• 3:42Andy Frisella?

Yep. Yep. Dude, I was thinking about this, you know, um,

• 3:50Andy Frisella?

when I first met Tim, you, you guys don't know the backstory. We got a lot of new listeners. I don't think I know how you guys met. Yeah. So, so dude, I, when my business, well, when our business,

• 4:05Andy Frisella?

around 2012, 13, 14, we started doing very well. And it became like overwhelming to go from how hard we were struggling to how well we were doing. And that sounds like a great thing, except when you don't know what the fuck you're doing, it's super hard and, um,

• 4:30Andy Frisella?

I was having a really hard time relating to people, man. Like my whole life, I've been so competitive and wanted to win so bad. And I just, and I still feel this way.

• 4:43Speaker 01

Yeah, not wanting to, still does. Yeah, it doesn't go away.

• 4:47Andy Frisella?

No, it's in your fucking blood, bro.

• 4:48Speaker 01

It doesn't go. And if you don't believe me, if you ever get a chance to come to headquarters,

• 4:55Speaker 01

  just ask for pops.

• 4:56Andy Frisella?

Yeah. I mean, everything here is a competition and it's like, when I was going through that time,

• 5:08Andy Frisella?

I didn't have anybody fucking talk to, bro. Like, I didn't have anybody that really understood how hungry and how bad and how desperate I was to win. And when you talk to people and you're built like that, you feel fucking crazy, dude. And then what happens is, is over the course of time, when you've spent years and years and years and years like that, you start to feel like you're the one that's totally fucked and everybody else is normal. Because just like a lot of people I said on today's Real Talk, most people never really meet someone who is actually a top level performer or anything.

• 5:51Andy Frisella?

They go their whole life and they never, ever, ever actually meet that person. And when you're, when you're wired that way, you feel the same way, but the other way. You go your whole life and you don't meet anybody that thinks like you, that doesn't think you're crazy, that doesn't think you're fucked up, that doesn't think you're too intense. And dude, it's a super lonely thing, super lonely. And I picked up this book, uh, cause you guys know I'm a big reader. I picked up this book called Relentless. I hadn't, I did not know Tim. I had never met him. I didn't know much about him. I knew, I knew you coached Michael Jordan. That's what I knew.

• 6:32Andy Frisella?

And I picked up the book, I read the book and it changed my fucking life, dude. I mean, the way the book. Categorizes achievement and achievers and their mentalities into basically, you know, four different categories. I mean, there's three, but the fourth one is you're fucking irrelevant. Right? Uh, but you know, I read all this and I was like, oh, this makes sense.

• 6:58Speaker 01

  Got it.

• 6:59Andy Frisella?

The guys, the guys who are doing shit are doing shit because they have this different quality about them and this different way of living. And that kind of gave me permission to like be me. And it was super fucking important in my life. And I've, I said this the first time I had Tim on, I always say this. Dude, I was going through such a dark time at that time because dude, when you feel like you're all alone like that, you start to think like, what the fuck is the point of this? Like I'm, I'm all alone. I'm, I'm fucking crazy. Nobody sees what I'm going through. Nobody gets it. Everybody tells me I'm too intense or insane or you, all these things and none of them are good.

• 7:40Andy Frisella?

And when you start to like realize, oh, you're not the only one. That makes you feel better. But when you do feel like you're the only one, you're like, what the fuck is the point of this? Like what? What am I doing? And, um, you know, real talk, that book, that book, I say it and I tell everybody this. I mean, that book saved my life. I wouldn't sell that book for a hundred fucking million dollars. That their original book that I myself for a hundred. I wouldn't sell.

• 8:07Speaker 01

I'll get you another one. Trust me. Yeah. And I will bend all the pages. I'll sweat on them. Do whatever you need to do.

• 8:14Andy Frisella?

We'll split it. All right. But like, dude, it's, it's just such a, it was such an important realization in my life. And then fast forward a year or two later,

• 8:29Andy Frisella?

we both were speaking at the original 10x.

• 8:32Speaker 01

Yes. Standing next to each other, literally.

• 8:35Andy Frisella?

So I'm looking at, I'm like, oh, this is what happened. So when I'm posting the book or when I read the book, I posted it. And, and he started getting all these tags and shit and the book started moving. And, uh, And then, you know, a couple of years later, we went to, we both got, uh, hired to speak at 10x. And he's standing like one row in front of me and I'm like, holy fuck, it's fucking Tim Grover. And he looks back at me, he's like, Andy, cause he recognized me from social. And then dude.

• 9:08Speaker 02

That's always a weird thing too, like when you meet those people in person.

• 9:11Andy Frisella?

It wasn't weird when we met. It was like we knew each other our whole lives.

• 9:14Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 9:14Andy Frisella?

Instantly. Yeah. It was fucking cool, man. And we've been friends since. That was probably 2014 or 15.

• 9:20Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 9:21Andy Frisella?

  At Grant's thing.

• 9:22Speaker 01

And the thing that you say, the reason the like-minded individuals attract like-minded individuals. You know, it's funny, people that never pay the price are the ones that scream the loudest.

• 9:36Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 9:37Speaker 01

And the ones that pay the price are the ones that live in silence.

• 9:41Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 9:41Speaker 01

You know, because when you scream, nobody hears you. No, no, literally nobody's around to hear you. Because they're not, they don't, they don't understand. I got this thing that I talk about. And everything that you've gone through, everything that you're going through at the highest level. People don't understand when you go from everything you've worked towards. And all of a sudden, it just happens. And there's a whole level that winning brings that people just don't understand because they've never been at that. They've never been at that level. All they see.

• 10:23Andy Frisella?

All the ancillary things that come in your life.

• 10:25Speaker 01

Yes. All, they just see the balloons, the confetti, the money, the car. They, they have, they have literally no idea. And I literally call it the trauma of winning.

• 10:37Andy Frisella?

Yeah. Well, it's real shit. I can tell you that. Your life changes.

• 10:41Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 10:42Andy Frisella?

I mean, the way people see you changes, the way people treat you changes and usually, um.

• 10:49Andy Frisella?

In a meaningful way, it's not that great.

• 10:50Speaker 01

You go from, you go from being, you go from being a human being.

• 10:55Andy Frisella?

To being a solution to problems.

• 10:57Speaker 01

Yeah, to being a resource. Literally, everybody's pulling at you. They're literally pulling at you. You be, you become a resource for everything. Need money, need product, need this, need that. Can you help me with this? Can you help me with that? You literally become the resource and then you're still trying to find some peace among yourself while everybody else is taking pieces and your peace from you.

• 11:20Andy Frisella?

Yeah. Dude, I still would, I would still rather be this way than be broke and irrelevant.

• 11:29Andy Frisella?

I mean, you're trading bor- boring shit.

• 11:34Speaker 01

  No pressure.

• 11:36Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 11:36Speaker 01

  No relevancy.

• 11:37Andy Frisella?

  Fuck dude, that's the truth.

• 11:38Speaker 01

No pressure, no relevancy. That's it. Everybody, you go through all these, you go through all these pressure situations of building a life, building a business, visiting everything you want to become relevant. You don't want to, you don't want to be relevant? And there's a lot of people that choose not to be, not to be relevant. There's no, there's no, there's no pressure in anybody's life critiquing and criticizing everybody, everybody else.

• 12:04Andy Frisella?

You know what's interesting? As you say that, I'm sitting here thinking about like

• 12:09Andy Frisella?

that, whether you choose whichever path you choose, because it is a choice.

• 12:16Andy Frisella?

  Whatever you end up getting.

• 12:20Andy Frisella?

Like for me, like for, okay, for someone who's never like acted on their ambitions or dreams, right? That first day, that second day, that third day fucking kills them, dude. It's totally out of like their, their routine, right? They're used to like just cruising, no pressure, no big deal.

• 12:39Andy Frisella?

But then you take someone who's acclimated to the pressure and you try to make them sit on the fucking couch for a day and it's equally as difficult. People just don't believe that. And it's crazy to think about like

• 12:50Andy Frisella?

I've been thinking, you know, I knew you were coming on. I just kind of been thinking about

• 12:55Andy Frisella?

different aspects of winning that nobody really talks about. And one of the things that nobody ever fucking talks about.

• 13:03Andy Frisella?

Is you know that saying like it's it's one thing to get to the top. It's another thing to stay there. Right? Like, I started thinking about that and and I always thought, yeah, but you know, it's probably just that's probably something people say when they want a lot. And I started like breaking it down. And what it really means, dude, and like what what we really have to understand is that when you win, because we are all in a competition, whether it's business, whether it's personal, whether it's at your job, whether it's with yourself. But at the end of the day,

• 13:44Andy Frisella?

the bar we set by winning is always going to be pursued by other people. Okay, let's take business, for example. We win, we do good, our company wins, we become the best in the industry. Now we've set a new bar and that bar becomes the mark that everybody else is trying to surpass. All right. But here's the thing, most companies will look around and they will say, oh, well, we're we're we're fucking this company. We deserve to win. No, you don't. And you don't deserve to you don't deserve anything. Okay, because what happens is these companies come in and they win. You know, let's say 20% more than that bar that you already set, which means that you have to exceed their target

• 14:29Andy Frisella?

when they're trying to beat you. So like if they're coming in at 20%, you got to come in at 22%. And that 22% is 22% above the best fucking effort you could have ever given in your entire life. Where you bled, you sweat, you cried, you stressed, you fucking went crazy and now you gotta do more. Still gotta do more. Bro, and that's a game nobody talks about. They don't understand that. Like, that's why so many people cannot, they only have so much. Now, there is people who perpetually win their whole lives. But they're so fucking rare because dude, it's exhausting. It is. It's fucking exhausting, even if you're wired for it, even if you're built for it.

• 15:13Andy Frisella?

It's it's fucking exhausting, dude. Like you imagine setting the bar and then every year having to figure out how to fucking do better than that when that was your best. And then you're only a year down the road. It's not like you're 10 years down the road. There's a big difference between me now and me 10 years ago, or me even four years ago. But me last year, that's a little difference. And you're expected to produce a big result. And it's fucking hard, dude. And that's something people don't understand. Because to be financially successful in life and to win, you have to win for a long time. One year is not going to cut it. No. So it has to become who the fuck you are. And a problem that I see, and I would like to hear your, your take on this. The

• 15:57Andy Frisella?

problem I see in society is like, society has become so mediocre and so soft and so fucking weak, that they take people who were built to win and create and and become and set the bar for society. And they make them think there's something fucking wrong with them. They tell them they're crazy. They tell them they work too hard. They tell them they're out of balance. Well, guess what, motherfuckers? These are the people that create the world for you to live in. You know what I'm saying? So why not just let them fucking do their thing instead of criticizing them and say, thank you for making the world a better place for me to live in. Like, these things, nobody ever thinks about, bro. You know what I'm saying? And dude, when we think about,

• 16:37Andy Frisella?

like, like, the cost to do that and live that way, it's, it's fucking substantial. It's a real thing. And it's interesting how everybody around thinks that they're gonna live this big life, this crazy life, you know, we got all these knuckleheads out here telling everybody they're gonna be rich in a week. And and people just aren't prepared for the fucking journey, bro. They're not built for it. And I try to tell people that and they're like, you're discouraging me. If that discourages you, bro, you don't have what it takes. You got it. That's it. Because if you really had what it takes, nothing would discourage you. Right. I'm just trying to prepare people who aren't built for it to not waste their life in something that they're not like,

• 17:22Andy Frisella?

bro, I'm not playing in the NBA. Like, I would appreciate it if Tim, if I went out and fucking tried to be in the NBA, if Tim pulled me aside and said, come here. The same for you. Andy, my boy.

• 17:32Speaker 01

You know how many, how many of my clients that had came through my facility when I was heavily involved in training, I would pull them aside and say, listen. You're not good enough. And, and, and they would not, they would not believe me. I said, listen, I'm telling you the truth. You are not good enough. I said, you can make some money overseas. You can make some money in the developmental league. But I said, you are not, and then somebody else would pull that individual and say, oh, Grover doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. And they would take them, they'd go work out somewhere else, they'd go train somewhere, somewhere else. 10 years later, I'd run into them and they'll be come up to me and say, you're the only person that told me. The truth.

• 18:12Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, bro.

• 18:13Speaker 01

Only person that told me the truth. You know, i- i- it's going back to what you said. Making it

• 18:23Speaker 01

to the top is not the same as making it at the top.

• 18:28Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, fuck dude.

• 18:30Speaker 01

All right. You've seen how many businesses, how many, how many athletes, how many individuals, they get to the top. All right. And now what you just said, the improvement from there is so difficult. You know, look at, look at your company. Everybody tell, man, you guys got that, you got the, you got the best products, you got the best products. You say, no, we're gonna make it, we're gonna make them even, we're gonna make them even better. Well, how do you improve on the best? How do you improve on the best? Everybody, when you guys got into the energy space, what are you doing, man? You guys, you guys are crazy. No, you know, this is out of your wheelhouse. You need to, you need to stay with us. And you know what your answer is? Watch me.

• 19:13Andy Frisella?

Yeah, well, we'll figure it the fuck out.

• 19:16Speaker 01

Yeah, well, watch, because that's what people do. That's what winners do. They figure things out. What people, what society wants now, they want an easy job. They want lots of free time. And they want to make lots of money.

• 19:32Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 19:33Speaker 01

  That puzzle doesn't fit.

• 19:34Andy Frisella?

  No, it doesn't.

• 19:35Speaker 01

It, it, it, it just, none of those pieces fit, none of those pieces fit together. They just don't.

• 19:42Andy Frisella?

Dude, I was sitting, um, I was sitting with my buddy, uh, Zoltan. Uh, you, you might be familiar with him. He plays guitar for Five Finger Death Punk.

• 19:50Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 19:52Andy Frisella?

He, we were sitting in my house one night and I was going through a, you know, a challenging time. We were just talking, we were talking a little bit about this. Cause like dude, even after you like realize that you're built for it, you start, sometimes you're around enough people, you're like, fuck, this is, I am crazy. You know, you start believing that there's something wrong with you again. And I was going through one of those phases. And he's like, bro, did you ever consider the fact that like, we need people in the world to fucking, that love the fucking war? Like, we need people like you. Like, there's nothing wrong with you, dude. And I'm like, you were sitting there.

• 20:28Speaker 01

  Yeah, I was there.

• 20:29Andy Frisella?

  I was like,

• 20:29Speaker 01

  I was there.

• 20:31Andy Frisella?

Fuck, that's, that's accurate. Like, what am I doing trying to fucking calm my shit down?

• 20:36Speaker 01

You're trying to fight who you're supposed to be.

• 20:38Andy Frisella?

Dude, that's what I'm saying. And that struggle, that, that struggle is very common with ambitious people. We have two kinds of people. We have at least people, and you hear this all the time. We got these people that haven't done shit. They're not wired to do shit. They think they're somebody that they aren't. These are all the guys who read your book and say, well, I'm a fucking cleaner. Right? And

• 21:00Speaker 01

Oh, what do we say? A cleaner never calls himself a cleaner.

• 21:03Andy Frisella?

Because dude, that's the nature of success. Like, we, you know, oh, how do you feel now that you've made it? The fuck you talking about, bro?

• 21:12Speaker 01

  Made what?

• 21:12Andy Frisella?

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. Like, the brownies? I made the brownies. They were good. You know, like, I just, we just don't think that way. And, you know, I think there's a very big problem with world. I, I think a lot, because we, you know, obviously have a lot of people who are high achievers on the, that listen to the show or want to be. And one of the biggest problems, man, is that like, we're constantly inundated with this weak fucking victim bullshit. You know, you, you, you gotta, You gotta balance your day out, or you have to do this, or you gotta do this, and you know, you gotta have peace and motherfucker, I got fucking darkness and war and destruction in my fucking heart.

• 21:55Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 21:56Andy Frisella?

And if this were the 1400s, I'd be riding around on a horse, cut motherfuckers heads off. Okay, but instead, lucky for society, I can do business.

• 22:06Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 22:06Andy Frisella?

You know what I'm saying? Like, so, we have to understand, there are people that are built for this, and if you're one of these people that's built for this, if, when you consume all this fucking bullshit on the internet, it starts to fuck you up. And you have to realize that that is written for everybody else. That is not written for the people that changed the motherfucking world. That is written for your average dude who is stressed because fucking, he didn't cut the grass yet this week, or whatever, right? Like, it's, it's not for you. And I think that's a big deal, that like, a lot of you guys who have ambitions and goals and dreams, you have to realize, that shit will fuck you up. You need to stay the fuck away from it.

• 22:51Speaker 01

Everybody that, every client that I've ever worked with, from a business standpoint, from an athletic standpoint, when you talk about cutting the grass and all, I see, this is how, why we relate so well. Winners have this thing. They need to finish. They need to finish everything that they started at the highest, highest level. There's a thing, I, I must finish. I must fini, I must finish this. No ma, and somebody says, man, you can do, you can do, you can do this tomorrow, you can, we don't see tomorrow.

• 23:35Speaker 01

We, we, we don't, we don't, we don't see tomorrow. All right? We see the moment now. We see the moment now, and we know we have to finish, and finish at the highest level, because if we're fortunate enough to have tomorrow.

• 23:50Speaker 01

There's more things that need to be finished.

• 23:52Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 23:54Speaker 01

There are more things that need to be finished. And that's why when people tell you, you need to unwind, you need to relax, we are the most uncomfortable when we are unwound.

• 24:06Andy Frisella?

  Dude.

• 24:08Speaker 01

I- i- i- it's just like, it's, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not a good, it's not a good, it's not a good feeling. It is not a good feeling. We relax in ways that are special to us. We release for a moment in ways that are unique to us, that the other society people ju- just don't understand.

• 24:33Andy Frisella?

They don't understand, and a lot of times they don't approve either.

• 24:35Speaker 01

Yeah, well, I, I, we're not looking, we, we're not looking for their, we're not looking for their approval, because he- here's the thing, if we're looking for their approval, we're them.

• 24:43Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, I know shit.

• 24:44Speaker 01

We're, we're, we're, we're them, alright? And what it is, is when you talk about all the information that everybody's inundated out there with,

• 24:57Speaker 01

when I look at those things, that's entertainment for us.

• 25:01Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 25:01Speaker 01

It's li- it's literally, it's literally, it's literally entertainment, and you're just like, well, we just laugh, anytime there's a negative post, and I've never reacted to one, I just laugh. I just, I, I just, I just laugh, because he- he- here's the thing.

• 25:18Speaker 01

If you get emotional about something that's said about you, or you say about something, or something that you post on your podcast, on your different platforms, and people say, "You're fucking crazy, you're this", you're right. You just struck a nerve.

• 25:35Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 25:36Speaker 01

You just, you just, you just, you just struck, and what happens when you strike, uh, strike a nerve? The first thing is for them to put up their, their defense shield, because now what happens is they're so busy trying to expose you, they just got exposed.

• 25:50Speaker 01

They just got, the mirror does not lie. The mirror, there's a reason from your, in your 75, in your 75 hard, you say every single day, every single workout, take a picture of yourself. Cause that mirror does not lie. You lie, but that mirror is not lying.

• 26:12Andy Frisella?

  Nope, never does.

• 26:14Speaker 01

And how many times going back on that, you know, and I know that you've had millions of people do, do that program. How many fucking times have you started over?

• 26:23Andy Frisella?

Quite a few. I've had a hard time this year, to be honest.

• 26:26Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 26:27Andy Frisella?

And I've been doing it for, well, look, it's called 75 fucking hard. It's not, you don't get used to it because you have to push yourself to do it. If you're doing it right, if you're doing it right, you are pushing yourself to do it. And it's not just easy, no matter who you are. But yeah, bro, lots of times.

• 26:46Speaker 01

And you don't get used to winning.

• 26:48Andy Frisella?

  No.

• 26:48Speaker 01

Cause there's always more, there's always more, there's, there's, there's always more. You, you like, yeah, you won that, that's great. That's great. But what's, what's next? What, what, what if this always has to be a next? You know, we talk about, you know, I use this analogy or not, a lot, okay? Hell is definitely a place. It's a place, okay? But hell is a place where you either stay or you start.

• 27:24Speaker 01

  We've all started in hell.

• 27:28Speaker 01

The winners decide not to stay. Most people love to stay and everybody thinks hell is just like this crazy place and all. Hell is one of the most comfortable environments out there because that's where all your excuses live.

• 27:40Andy Frisella?

  Oh, man.

• 27:40Speaker 01

That's where all the same people that, you know, you tell them, oh, everything's gonna be great. Oh, you don't have to worry about, you don't have to, you don't have to wor, you don't have to worry about this. They point fingers at everybody, everybody else. It's, everybody says, come on, come on over, come on over here. This is where it's comfortable. This is where, where, you know, we are, we under, we under, we understand you. You, you shouldn't have to work so hard. You don't, you don't have to be successful. You don't have to want, you don't have to want it all. And they're about, yeah, you know what? That's great. And it's constantly trying to pull you back. It's constantly trying to pull you back. But what we do is, and every CEO, because.

• 28:15Speaker 01

Every company that's running a business and I, you know, that's public out there. They got investors. They got, they got people that have bought stock into it. They bought the company and they're like, okay. Yeah, we finished off this fiscal year and the stock price is X. Great.

• 28:33Speaker 01

We can't be here the same place next year. So what do those individuals do? They're like, oh man, we made it. We made it. We made it. We made, we made it. As soon as they hit, as soon as that year books close, what do they do? They take that trip back to hell.

• 28:50Speaker 01

But they don't stay there. They don't stay there. But most people that run businesses into the ground or get to a certain level. Or athletes, whatever, whatever, whatever may be individuals or so, or so forth.

• 29:09Speaker 01

When they make that trip back to hell again and people say, hey man, you don't have to do that again. You don't have to be, you don't have to work that hard. Don't worry about those people. Just, just, just relax, unwind, come on, enjoy, enjoy yourself and so forth. And there's more people, it's that tug of war. There's more of those people tugging at, at, at you. And then you look at yourself and you're like, no, I can't, I can't stay, I can't stay here. I, I, I need to. This is a place where I'm going to start, but I'm not going to stay here. But then you look at your hands. And you know, you look at how bloody they are. They got the calluses, they got the, they got the, they got the blisters. You look at yourself, you look at yourself in, in, in the, in the face, you look yourself in the face and you're like, man, people is like, I'm worn out.

• 29:54Speaker 01

I, I, I'm tired, but you, everybody looks at those things as being ugly and you look at those things as being fucking beautiful.

• 30:03Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, dude.

• 30:03Speaker 01

You're like, you look at them and be, there is nothing, there is nothing more powerful. Than an individual that can heal their own wounds. So when they see those wounds. On themselves, they know they earned them. And they're like, the only way I can heal these things again. Is I gotta win again.

• 30:28Speaker 01

I, I, I, I have to win again. And the winning is just not for me.

• 30:36Speaker 01

  When you win,

• 30:38Speaker 01

all the people that listen to you on a regular basis that like say, hey, this is, this is, this is the person I want to listen to. This is the person I want to follow because he's giving me the information straight. Not only, not only does he talk the talk, but guess what?

• 30:58Speaker 01

He's got how many square footage of results and how many products of proof? There's, there's, there's, there's validation in that. So it, it's not only for us. It's for, it's for, it's for those individuals. We want to touch as many individuals. We want to show them it's, we want to show them it's possible. It's, it's real. But there's a huge price that comes with it. And that price continues to go up. And at some point, people just don't want to pay that price anymore.

• 31:36Andy Frisella?

Man, it's facts. Dude, one question before we get into the show show.

• 31:44Andy Frisella?

From your experience of dealing with the best performers on the planet ever,

• 31:54Andy Frisella?

is it hate to lose or is it love to win?

• 31:57Speaker 01

  It's neither.

• 31:58Andy Frisella?

What do you think it is?

• 31:59Speaker 01

It's, it's, it's neither. You know what? They, they, they hate to lose and they love to win, but it's a combination of both. See, what happens is when you think of hate to lose, you know, whether they hate to lose or they love to win, you get, you're letting your emotions get in the way. You're letting your emotions get in the way. You're letting your mo, man, I hate to, I fucking lose. All right. Or when, or when you win, you're like, yes, I, I, I win. Most individuals being able to have control over that emotion, being able to have control of your thoughts, being able to have control of your actions, being able to have control of your emotions is what true winners are, what true winners are about.

• 32:40Speaker 01

People want to celebrate too early. They want to celebrate, they want to celebrate too soon. When you win, when, when you win at the highest, when you win at the highest level, that's when you want to celebrate. I was watching, um, I think it was Wimbledon.

• 32:58Speaker 01

I was watching Wimbledon and there was a match going on and the person that won the match and I just watched everybody's reaction after the match and I just said, I said, the next match that person plays, they're gonna lose. They're gonna lose. Because Lily winning that match was their celebration. That was their confetti. That was that confetti morning. That's where all their energy went. That's where all their emotions went. That's where

• 33:36Speaker 01

all their thoughts went. Not realizing, I'm not finished. I'm not finished. Alright. So, when people talk about, man, whether it's, you know, hate to lose, or, you know, I love to win, that means you're letting an emotional component get in and the only emotional component, the only thing that should ever affect your emotion is when you do win. Derek Jeter had this unbelievable thing. I saw a post that come in and they asked him, what was, they

• 34:16Speaker 01

asked him, what was his toughest years? And he mentioned, every single year, he didn't win the World Series. Those were my toughest years. Not he didn't pick a moment, he didn't pick this, he didn't pick the, he goes, I play to win. He goes, I play to win. And when you play to win, you have control over your behavior. You have control over your thoughts. You have control over your emotions. You have control over your actions. People celebrate

• 34:53Speaker 01

too soon. Celebrate hard, but don't celebrate long. But you have to, that celebration doesn't, people want to celebrate, if you win...

• 35:07Speaker 01

Let's take, let's go back to tennis. You have to win multiple matches in order to be considered the winner. You got individuals celebrating every single.

• 35:16Speaker 02

  Yeah, round one.

• 35:16Speaker 01

Yeah. There's a big difference between enjoying the moment and a celebration. Enjoy those wins, but save the celebration for the end. Save the celebration for the end.

• 35:33Speaker 02

But there's also like, there's almost like a, cause see I seen like playing football, coaching football. You see people win. I remember one time there was a game, our, our kids won. And they're like doing front flips and stuff and cartwheels. It's like, what, you know, the head coach, he's like, what do you guys, you guys are acting like you're surprised. Like this was expected. Like there's an expectation. Like what is, what is this? Like y'all act like y'all surprised that y'all won. Like, no, like there, there was a game plan here. There was practices that we showed up to. You know what I'm saying? Like there was all these pieces that went into this. What are you, what are y'all acting like y'all surprised that we won?

• 36:05Andy Frisella?

  I think that's a huge deal.

• 36:06Speaker 02

  You know what I'm saying?

• 36:07Andy Frisella?

  Yeah. I, I think.

• 36:10Andy Frisella?

I know for me, I could win the world's biggest event today and not really even give a fuck. I mean, I'd be glad I won.

• 36:17Speaker 02

  For sure.

• 36:18Andy Frisella?

But, but you're not going to see me run around like a fucking weirdo. Like.

• 36:22Speaker 02

It'd be some fist bumps. Yeah.

• 36:25Andy Frisella?

I expect to win. I expect it. That's my standard. I expect to win.

• 36:30Speaker 01

You're not in this to lose.

• 36:31Andy Frisella?

No, but like it's an expectation.

• 36:33Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 36:34Andy Frisella?

  It's not fucking.

• 36:35Speaker 02

It's having confidence in your process.

• 36:37Andy Frisella?

It's an expectation. It's not confidence. It's not, it's, it's fucking, that is the minimal acceptable standard to me. Period. That's it. And when it comes to losing, I feel like a hate to lose mentality is almost required.

• 36:59Andy Frisella?

  Because it sets

• 37:03Andy Frisella?

the bar for what's acceptable. You, you almost have to hate losing so much that you are not willing to accept anything other than the win.

• 37:15Speaker 01

I agree with you, Andy, but only if you're wired, only if you're wired a certain, if you're only wired a certain way. Because a lot of individuals cannot handle hate. They cannot handle, they just, they just, they just can't. This goes back to what you said about the sensitivity meter. All right? How can you hate to lose?

• 37:40Speaker 01

If your sensitivity, sensitivity meter is extremely vol, is extremely volatile. Everybody talk, you know, it's a great thing to say. It's a great thing to say, man, I, I, I, I hate to lose, but when you do lose,

• 37:54Speaker 01

what do you do immediately next?

• 37:56Andy Frisella?

Well, you gotta be disciplined in the method.

• 37:58Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 37:58Andy Frisella?

You know, I can hate to lose. And still understand that me throwing some sort of fucking tantrum doesn't help.

• 38:05Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 38:05Andy Frisella?

Right? Like, like I under, I hate to lose.

• 38:08Speaker 01

  And that's the emotion.

• 38:09Andy Frisella?

  Me back to work.

• 38:10Speaker 01

That's the emotion part I'm talking, that's the emotion part I was talking about when people hate, people say that they hate to lose. And they go out and they, they, they release all these emo, they release all these emotions instead of, you know what?

• 38:20Andy Frisella?

No, you should pour that into the reps.

• 38:23Speaker 01

  Exactly. Exactly.

• 38:26Andy Frisella?

Anyway. No, I love it. That's a great man. Yeah. Dude, losing and winning is like my favorite thing to talk about. And yours too.

• 38:34Speaker 01

Because there's no, there's no in between.

• 38:36Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 38:37Speaker 01

Listen, i- i- it's funny. Um, there was a, there was a story on, uh, that read that of a, a general manager of a ba, of an NBA basketball team. He's really big into analytics and I don't throw names out there, you know? I, that's not, that's not what I do. All right? He literally went up, he was with another organization. He literally went up to the, the, the, the team had just lost a game. Literally just lost a game in the playoffs. He went up to the owner of the team and he was a big analytics guy and he showed the numbers. He said, well, if you look at the numbers, we actually won.

• 39:19Speaker 01

True story, true, true story. The score is the score. All right, it's funny, everybody want, everybody wants, the numbers, the numbers in your bank account are the numbers in your, in your bank account. The numbers in your business are the numbers in your business. The only place that people don't want to pay attention to the numbers

• 39:43Speaker 01

is when it's the score or when you weigh yourself.

• 39:48Andy Frisella?

Yeah, dude, it's such, that's such a hu, cause like, data is such a huge part of business and winning, it just is. But there's nothing fucking worse than someone who uses data to justify lack of results. They say, yeah, but, yeah, motherfucker, you see the fucking score? That's the fucking number. It doesn't matter all this shit. That dude.

• 40:14Speaker 01

  Dangerous word, but, dangerous word.

• 40:17Andy Frisella?

Dude, it's the worst. It's like the moral victory. You know, like, oh, yeah, you know, well, the data says we should. We had some first downs. Fuck. It's our season high first down.

• 40:28Speaker 01

Let me ask you something. Both of you guys, DJ, eh? What the hell's the definition of a moral victory?

• 40:34Andy Frisella?

There isn't one. It's bullshit. It's the, it's, it's what losers tell themselves to feel better about losing. It's the truth. And it's become accepted in reality as some sort of like consolation prize. There is no consolation prize. There is, and then there isn't. You either won or you lost. You did it or you didn't. You either are or you aren't, and that's the reality of life. And this fucking attitude that we've conditioned society to be like, refuses to acknowledge the truth because they tell themselves these bridge stories, right? Well, we almost made it, but we didn't.

• 41:18Andy Frisella?

That doesn't fucking matter. You didn't make it. You lost. Like. This misunderstanding, I think, costs people, it costs more people their dreams than anything else. Like, no one gives a shit that you tried hard, bro. Like, I'm sorry, that sounds mean, I understand, you're sweating, you're working, you're trying, no one cares. No one fucking cares. They only care about that shit if you want.

• 41:46Speaker 02

  If you actually want.

• 41:46Andy Frisella?

If you want people to care about the struggle you went through, win. That's it.

• 41:51Speaker 02

  Oh, man.

• 41:51Andy Frisella?

Otherwise, they don't give a fuck.

• 41:53Speaker 02

  That's real, man.

• 41:54Andy Frisella?

  That's real. Consolation prize.

• 41:58Speaker 01

  That's the hammer right there.

• 41:59Andy Frisella?

Yeah, my, my, my moral victory. Yeah, but, you know, we tried hard.

• 42:05Speaker 02

Feel good about myself for trying hard.

• 42:06Andy Frisella?

If fucking my aunt had fucking dick, she'd be my uncle. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't know what to tell you. It's the fucking, anyway.

• 42:15Speaker 02

  No, that's real, man.

• 42:16Speaker 01

Hey, look, we got on, how often do I get a DJ? Hey, man, where's your weight at? What are you doing? I'm caught, caught, he's not, he's, he's not, he's not responding. All right?

• 42:27Speaker 02

Tim, Tim hits, hits me up personally, by the way, guys.

• 42:30Speaker 01

Yeah, personally, personally, I say, hey, man, what the, what the, what the, what the hell's going on? I know he's holding himself accountable, but here's the thing. Everybody who holds themselves accountable has somebody else who's also holding themselves accountable. All right? I have a direct line to Andrew. Andrew has a direct line, line to me, and I know if I'm fucking up, I'm getting a text from him. I know. Am I just saying, here's the thing?

• 43:01Andy Frisella?

  No.

• 43:01Speaker 01

It, it won't be an explanation. You know what it's gonna say? It's gonna say, dude.

• 43:06Speaker 01

That's all I was gonna say.

• 43:07Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 43:07Speaker 01

And I already know. I, I already know what that meant. He don't, there's no explanation needed, there's no long sentence, there isn't anything going. Dude. Got it. Same thing with his brother, Sal.

• 43:18Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 43:19Speaker 01

Same, same, same thing with him, you know? He, obviously, if you fi, if you follow Sal, and if you're not, you should, all right? He was, I'm watching him raise his three beautiful kids.

• 43:34Speaker 01

And the one thing I text him, I see, you know, Enzo's in, he was in wrestling and he's all doing all these different things. And I told, I said, listen, Sal, whatever you do, I said, make sure he has something physical for the rest of his life. For the, for the, for the, for the, for the rest, rest of his, rest of his life. And the girls are doing gymnastics and all, all, all this other stuff. Because once you take care of the physical, you feel so much better about yourself. Then you become, then you as a mental individual, you don't need long sentences to explain. Just a simple dude is gonna be like, I got it.

• 44:22Speaker 01

  I got, I got it.

• 44:25Andy Frisella?

  It's simple.

• 44:26Speaker 01

It is, it's simple. People wanna make things so freaking complex.

• 44:32Andy Frisella?

That's why I get so fucking annoyed talking about it sometimes, Tim. It's like, this ain't fucking hard, bro.

• 44:37Speaker 01

And you said it so many times.

• 44:39Andy Frisella?

You gotta fucking do it. All these people listen to all this bullshit by all these average motherfuckers looking for this secret that doesn't fucking exist. And then the people who tell them the secret for a fucking decade, get, you know, it's like, dude, dude, listen, I can promise you this. None of these other motherfuckers that you listen to are gonna tell you anything that actually fucking gets you where you wanna go, different than what I'm telling you.

• 45:11Andy Frisella?

That works. That's it. There's like three things that work. You know what I'm saying? Like you have to do the shit. You gotta have an idea that fucking will work.

• 45:22Andy Frisella?

And you gotta be relentless about it for fucking ever. And. You know, everybody listens to all this garbage like hoping it'll motivate them. Bro, if your own life doesn't motivate you, then you ain't fucking making it. If you can't look around at your life and say, damn dude, I need to make a change. You ain't got it. It ain't gonna work. If you need to pumped up, be pumped up all the time and told how great you could be and this and that. You ain't got it. If you gotta be fucking convinced to go and you gotta have your hand held. You ain't got it. If you gotta fucking have every question answered by somebody who's an expert and you wait to do anything until your quote unquote mentor gets back to you. You don't have it. You don't have it.

• 46:02Speaker 01

Everybody wants to be told what to do when you already know what to do.

• 46:09Andy Frisella?

Dude, it's so fr- it's fucking frustrating.

• 46:13Speaker 01

Yeah. Hey, listen to Tony, but how many times do you say this over and over again? You could always tell. Now, Andy's already got a lot of bass in his voice. So does Dee. And when he brings up this point, it agitates and irritates him even more.

• 46:29Andy Frisella?

Because it's disrespectful to the people who have actually done things.

• 46:32Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 46:33Andy Frisella?

It's saying to this, it's like, it's like sitting across from me. And I know all the things I've had to go through. I know all the fucking challenges, all the trials, all the tribulations, all the suicidal thoughts, all the bad, all of it, the fucking struggle, all of it, being misunderstood, being called names, being made fun of, being laughed at, all of it. I know exactly what I've gone through to get to this point. And when someone sits across from me and starts asking me questions about how to get around that. And basically, you know, so and so said, this is the hack.

• 47:13Andy Frisella?

Well, so and so's broke. They got a fucking podcast microphone and they make videos on the internet. They're a content creator, okay? We have to understand that when you sit across from someone who's paid that motherfucking price and you ask them what the shortcut is, they want to fucking choke you.

• 47:35Speaker 01

  Mm hmm.

• 47:35Andy Frisella?

Okay, real talk, like I want to reach across the table and rip your fucking Adam's apple out because you're disrespecting the work that and the struggle and the pain that I've had to go through. And then you're, it's sort of insinuating. You didn't really have to go through all that, did you? You didn't really, that's, that's kind of bullshit, isn't it?

• 47:55Speaker 02

Well, usually that's just you. I'm different though.

• 47:56Andy Frisella?

  See what I'm saying?

• 47:57Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 47:57Andy Frisella?

Yeah. And then, and then they think that there's some sort of entitlement because they get to skip the fucking fight. Bro, you're not even any good at what you do. You haven't even started learning this yet. What makes you think that you're, that's like going to the fucking NBA practice? And standing on the sideline and like going out and shooting some fucking free throws and be a, hey, hey LeBron. Give me the fucking secret, bro. Like you didn't really do all that work.

• 48:30Speaker 02

It can't be that hard. It's just.

• 48:31Andy Frisella?

MJ, you didn't do all that fucking practice, bro. Come on. You didn't get up at three o'clock in the morning and do chest passes. What, what's the real secret? You know what I'm saying? And it's like, dude, well, like I will fucking choke you.

• 48:44Speaker 01

How many times have both of you and everybody sitting in this room?

• 48:51Speaker 01

What's the one thing? I will stop right there. What's the one, what's the one thing?

• 48:57Speaker 02

  Yeah. What's your morning routine?

• 48:59Speaker 01

Yeah. What, what? There is no one thing. And the minute you tell them that they're like, whoa. What's, what's the one, what's the one thing? Why did in the, in my books relentless and winning, I listed everything as one?

• 49:14Speaker 01

Yeah. It's all these things and then there's more.

• 49:16Andy Frisella?

When you were saying the, the hell analogy. If you really want to break that down further, you start out in hell every motherfucking morning, bro.

• 49:24Speaker 01

  Every morning.

• 49:24Andy Frisella?

You gotta do everything you can to dig out by the end of the day. And guess what? When you wake up in the morning, you're gonna be there again.

• 49:29Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 49:30Andy Frisella?

And that's the fucking, that's what success building is like.

• 49:32Speaker 02

That's the one thing for you.

• 49:33Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, every fucking day.

• 49:35Speaker 01

  Here's the thing, everybody.

• 49:36Andy Frisella?

Here's the one thing. It's gonna fucking suck. How about that?

• 49:42Speaker 01

  If you get, listen.

• 49:46Speaker 01

If you blessed every single morning or night, whenever you get up to open your eyes. Every, I do this every single day. This is my morning routine for people that was, oh Grover, what you, I'm about to tell you right now. If I'm blessed enough to have another day and I open my eyes and I can put my feet on the ground, the first thing I say is thank you. And now the rest is up to me. The rest is up, the rest is up, the rest is up, the rest is up to you. That's it. Because one

• 50:27Speaker 01

day, one day, I'm not going to have the opportunity to do it either. Yeah. And the thing that you talk to the biggest achievers, and if you can get them to tell you the truth, not the stuff that everybody wants to hear. And that's the one thing about this, you will always hear, you will, you will get, you won't get what you want to hear, you get what you need to hear. Alright? It's always on you. It's always going to be on you. Once you wake up in that morning, every decision you make, every action you make,

• 51:11Speaker 01

all those things is going to determine where everything i- is going to go. There's been people that have woken up one morning and just said, I don't like the way I look anymore. Total transformation. People that wake up in the morning and says, I'm never drinking again. Well, I'm never going to do drugs. I'm never gonna, I'm never, I'm never going to do this. They wake up and they say, I make that decision and what he says. You think like Andrew just said, you think that's easy? When they get up in the morning, that's hell? Alright, I was a very heavy individual. Okay? DJ was a very heavy individual. You

• 51:52Speaker 01

don't think so? That heavy individual, every single morning when we get up, is standing right next to the bed and saying, hey man, we want you back. Yeah. We want you, we want you back. Why, why you gotta go work, why you gotta go work out? Go back, go back in, go back in the bed. I stayed in a very nice hotel while I'm out here. Man, that bed was comfortable. Them sheets were nice. Alright, hey, I could have easily rolled over. Gotta go work out. Gotta, gotta get my, gotta, gotta, gotta get my work, gotta get my workout in. I, I have to do this. I gotta prepare. I got some things. I, I got, I'm, I'm blessed. I'm blessed to be asked to do this tremendous podcast. I have to be prepared for it.

• 52:37Speaker 01

Because if I'm not prepared for it, the person that's sitting in that chair across from me,

• 52:45Speaker 01

he's gonna have no issues exposing me.

• 52:49Speaker 01

Because I put myself in that position to be exposed.

• 52:52Andy Frisella?

  You're, you're not exposable.

• 52:54Speaker 02

  Yeah, you're unexposable.

• 52:58Andy Frisella?

Alright, let's talk about these fucking idiots going on in the world.

• 53:01Speaker 02

Let's get into it, guys. It is, uh, cruisy internet. We're gonna do some cruising with Tim, man. It's gonna be exciting. It'll be exciting. Let's get into it, guys. Remember, as always-

• 53:11Speaker 01

Hold on, before, before, before we get cruising, Eddie, what car are we cruising in right now?

• 53:16Andy Frisella?

I, what did I drive today?

• 53:18Speaker 02

  350?

• 53:19Andy Frisella?

350R. I drove my Mustang 350R. Yeah, it's a, it's, it's not the, the flashiest thing, but it's one of the most fun cars to drive, ever. Yeah, so I, I love it. I drive it a lot.

• 53:31Speaker 02

Yeah, you, you've been ripping it. You've been fucking ripping it.

• 53:34Andy Frisella?

I like things, I'm starting to like really, like, you know, I've had the nice cars forever. So now I'm starting to like, care way less about the, the, whatever the prestige, you know? And starting to like really enjoy getting better as a driver. So I'm like getting more into like, raw, race-type cars that are manual transmission, you know, that I could practice driving in.

• 54:00Speaker 01

  Nice.

• 54:00Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 54:01Speaker 01

  That's your, that's evolution. That's growth. That's change.

• 54:04Andy Frisella?

I still like all the other shit, but like, I, I drive, I try to drive a manual transmission car as much as possible. Cause it takes a lifetime to master.

• 54:12Speaker 01

  Yes, it does.

• 54:13Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 54:13Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, yes, it does.

• 54:17Andy Frisella?

People, people that drive a commute manual, they're like, oh, you know, like, I'm talking about driving it like a race car. Like, I'm talking heel-toe, rod matches, like, these are things that are, they take coordination.

• 54:29Speaker 01

If by that statement, you didn't figure that out.

• 54:33Speaker 02

  Yeah, but.

• 54:33Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 54:35Speaker 02

We got a quick commute too.

• 54:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 54:37Speaker 02

So, yeah, man. Well, guys, remember if you want to see any of these pictures, articles, links, videos, go to andyfrisella.com. You guys can find them all linked there for you. Um, if you guys are listening on audio, come check us out, multiple locations, find us on the tube, find us on the, the X, and also find us on Spotify.

• 54:53Speaker 01

If you can't find us, you ain't looking.

• 54:56Speaker 02

  You ain't looking, that's true.

• 54:57Speaker 01

You're literally not, you're not, you're not looking.

• 54:59Speaker 02

Yeah. Well, let's get into it, man. Um, let's get into it. I had a little intro here. I thought this was interesting. Um, there was a, a typhoon that, uh, blew through, uh, Taiwan. Did you guys see that or hear about that at all?

• 55:14Andy Frisella?

  No.

• 55:14Speaker 02

Yeah, pretty bad typhoon going on, uh, that blew through it. Um, and there's a, uh, there's a website, I guess you can go to, it's like a in-depth weather calculator thing. It's like it shows all the wind stuff and, um, it's called windy.com. And, uh, you can go there and, uh, check it out for yourselves. This is, I'm not trying to pull a leg here. Um, this is real.

• 55:36Andy Frisella?

  Trying to pull something else.

• 55:37Speaker 02

This is the typhoon that's hitting Taiwan.

• 55:41Speaker 02

  Apparently.

• 55:42Andy Frisella?

So Tai- Tai- Tai- Taiwan's getting fucked.

• 55:47Speaker 02

This is real too. This is not, this is not bullshit. Grok verified it, uh, saying this windy.com map shows wind patterns from typhoon Podal hitting southern Taiwan today, August 13th, 2025. Purple areas indicate gusts exceeding 11 meters per second with swirls near Gia Shang and Lanu. Uh, the formation amusingly resembles male genitalia with Taiwan as the shaft. Stay safe amid the storm.

• 56:13Speaker 01

So is that looking out of the left side mirror or the right side where it says, "Objects may seem closer than they appear."

• 56:21Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 56:23Speaker 02

I mean, it looks on par for the region.

• 56:25Andy Frisella?

  I mean, it looks, yes.

• 56:29Andy Frisella?

That's what I was gonna say.

• 56:30Speaker 01

And with that thing, only one, only one, only one person is missing.

• 56:33Speaker 02

This is, that's right, that's right.

• 56:38Speaker 02

Taiwan's actually not, not a bad looking place though, but yeah, there's like thirty-three people, people been injured so far. So I mean, we'll stay up to date. It's moving into China. So I'm sure it'll get a little bit smaller, but um, no pun intended. You know what I'm saying? Uh, but yeah, let's get into the cruise, man. We gotta, we gotta check in on some stuff. Uh, we got some stuff that's happening. Um, want to do headline number one, um, going into our first, first set of headlines here. Uh, gotta go back to DC. There's been some updates going on. Uh, the crime thing is a big conversation right now across the country. Um, crime rates happening everywhere. Um, and Trump did something crazy in DC where he enacted the federal guard,

• 57:21Speaker 02

national guard. We talked about this the last CTI. There's been some updates. Now you got DC residents heckle authorities at checkpoint amid ramped up federal presence. So, uh, federal law enforcement officers in Washington were heckled Wednesday as tensions rise in the nation's capital over President Trump's move to take over the local police force. A group of protesters near the fourteenth street northwest corridor where the agents established a vehicle checkpoint shouted out, uh, or held up signs with phrases such as go home fascist and get off our streets. There is a clip here. Let's check this out.

• 58:28Speaker 02

  So it's like fifteen people.

• 58:30Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 58:30Speaker 02

  Right?

• 58:31Andy Frisella?

And now one of them looks like they do shit but complain.

• 58:33Speaker 02

Well, it's the same people, man. It's the same, it's the same people. And it's like, you know, they're upset because the police, because crime is so bad there. The police are coming in to, to help put a stop to the crime. It's like they're protesting to allow communities to continue to get devastated is what it sounds like.

• 58:50Andy Frisella?

It's interesting too, because I was watching on TV and it seems like both. The left and the right are in favor of this in Washington DC.

• 59:00Speaker 02

  Yeah, the actual residents.

• 59:01Andy Frisella?

Yeah, well, even the liberal media was covering it, saying that like, they thought it was a good idea because they live in Washington DC, they know how bad it is.

• 59:10Speaker 02

Or you can't go to CVS and get deodorant because it's behind Plexiglas. It's like, it's bad. It's not just DC. Now, Tim, you're Chicago, right?

• 59:19Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 59:21Speaker 02

How's Chicago right now? What would you say the temp is in Chicago?

• 59:26Speaker 01

Well, the temperature, outside temperature is very, it's very warm. But the way the city, it's, yeah, it's, people already know.

• 59:36Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 59:36Speaker 01

People are, people are, people already know, there's very people, very few people are happy with the situation that's going on. I've been a life for first Chicago and for the first time I've actually thought about, yeah, I might have had, I might have had enough. I just might have had enough. Here's the thing.

• 59:55Speaker 01

  For some reason, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't understand, I don't understand this. Why people just cannot work together.

• 1:00:07Speaker 01

I, I just, it's like count, it's like point, counterpoint, point, counterpoint. Everybody's just, everybody's just arguing, nothing's, nothing's getting, nothing's getting done. Everybody's pointing fingers at the other, other individuals instead of actually, instead of actually doing something that can make life better. The streets, everything for better for, for everyone, not just in Chicago and DC, where California, Florida, wherever, wherever it may be. Whatever it may, maybe, it's the first thing we gotta do is

• 1:00:45Speaker 01

come together. Let, put you, this is like, alright, I'm watching this, I'm watching this video now. Alright, so you got the people on the, on the other side. If something was going, if something happened to them in their house, who's the first people they gonna call?

• 1:00:59Andy Frisella?

If something happened right there, if someone drove down the street right there, like they do every night in Chicago, and started popping off gun rounds, they would look directly to the same people they're heckling and say, do something.

• 1:01:16Speaker 02

But don't do nothing too hard though.

• 1:01:17Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah.

• 1:01:20Speaker 02

  It's crazy.

• 1:01:21Andy Frisella?

Those people have never been affected by actual violent crime. They've never had, listen, you cannot behave that way without being ignorant to the effect that crime actually has on a family or an individual.

• 1:01:37Speaker 02

Go tell that to somebody whose loved one was killed by gun violence.

• 1:01:40Andy Frisella?

Correct. And, and on top of that dude,

• 1:01:46Andy Frisella?

for us to get together and be unified,

• 1:01:52Andy Frisella?

we would have to fucking come to an understanding that crime is bad. Violence is bad.

• 1:01:57Speaker 01

And we've got, literally got to a point where we have to come to an understanding to say that crime is bad.

• 1:02:03Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, that's insane.

• 1:02:05Speaker 01

  That's insane.

• 1:02:05Speaker 02

Yeah, dude. Like it's a bad thing to commit crime.

• 1:02:07Andy Frisella?

Yeah. Yeah. Look dude, the reason these people act the way they do is because they have very, they have very sheltered upbringings. Most of them come from upper middle-class upbringings. They don't come from the streets. They don't, they've never dealt with crime. They've never dealt with people that commit crime that don't give two fucks about you and say, you know, oh, I have, I, I care about you. They don't care about you though. That's the problem. Right? Like, these people are so sheltered and that's what turns them into these idealists. Like, you know, I, I understand that you want to see the good in everybody. I understand that, you know, you want everybody to kind of be able to survive and I understand all that.

• 1:02:50Andy Frisella?

But you don't understand that. Like you, the, the problem we have in this country is that there is a whole group of people who have had it too good for too long that don't understand what real world is like. Like in the real world, there are bad people and then there are good people and that will never change.

• 1:03:07Speaker 01

Just like there's winning and there's losing.

• 1:03:09Andy Frisella?

Yeah. And those bad people, they're not exclusively black or white or Jewish or uh, from, you know, third world cut. There's just bad people.

• 1:03:21Speaker 02

  Exclusively bad.

• 1:03:22Andy Frisella?

That's correct. And we get played against each other for the benefit of other people to believe that, you know, this group is bad or that group is bad or this, it's not, it's just not true. It's not true. And the propaganda's been so strong for so long. That it's very hard for people to come together.

• 1:03:47Andy Frisella?

  You know, it's.

• 1:03:49Speaker 02

Well, they intentionally make it too divisive and they intentionally do.

• 1:03:53Andy Frisella?

Yeah, but dude, the thing is, there's no doubt that they intentionally stir it, but you have to have a willingness to compromise and have a conversation. And there's people on both sides, but I would primarily say the far left side that will, they will, they fucking hate you.

• 1:04:11Speaker 02

Yeah. Well, I mean, that's what I was gonna get to. I mean, to that point though, it's like, you know, they will intentionally do things to to, to, to, to trick you into believing or, or knowing what's the actual truth. Like this came out to like, you know, with the DC thing, it's like, you know, oh, you know, crime, violent crime has been at all time low. It's going down. It's like, well, and then they get their face busted because you know, the DC police commander just got suspended accused of changing crime statistics.

• 1:04:37Andy Frisella?

Who, who said that? Who said that?

• 1:04:40Speaker 02

  What was those guys?

• 1:04:41Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:04:41Speaker 02

  What was that? Randy.

• 1:04:42Andy Frisella?

  Randy.

• 1:04:43Speaker 02

  Randy Coswell.

• 1:04:44Andy Frisella?

Why gotta be BJ? I was talking about BJ. It's because he likes to get blowjobs.

• 1:04:52Speaker 02

But yeah, it's like, you know, so like this stuff like this comes out, you know, and it's like, yeah, like this dude was literally changing the statistics of the violent crime that was coming in. So they were, so it's not just that they were not reporting it, they were literally changing things in the counting. You know, and it's like, but this guy's out here saying he protects and serves the community. No, you don't.

• 1:05:14Andy Frisella?

  That's him?

• 1:05:15Speaker 02

  That's him.

• 1:05:15Andy Frisella?

  That did it?

• 1:05:15Speaker 02

Yeah, this is him. This is, uh, his name, um, is Michael Pulliam. He's been placed on administrative leave, paid administrative leave, by the way. And this got called out by the, the union, the police union. They claim that the supervisors in the department, uh, manipulate crime data to make it appear that violent crime has fallen considerably. Um, and so it has not fallen at all. It's increased. Um, is what, uh, what they came to discover. So it's getting, it's like, it's like, what good is that doing?

• 1:05:46Andy Frisella?

We reported that. We reported that three years ago.

• 1:05:49Speaker 02

  Yeah. Yeah.

• 1:05:50Andy Frisella?

Three motherfucking years ago, we reported that. And by the way, it's not just in DC. It's in New York. It's in fucking Chicago. Houston, it's in St. Louis, it's in fucking LA and we reported it.

• 1:06:02Andy Frisella?

Now it's five, three years ago, we talked about this, bro.

• 1:06:05Speaker 02

  Now it's

• 1:06:06Andy Frisella?

People like, "Oh, you're just a conspiracy theorist racist. You hate black people." No, motherfucker. I know math.

• 1:06:12Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:06:12Andy Frisella?

Like, that's fucking math. Like, this, this percentage does this amount of crime. This is where the violence is. It's very simple. It's very simple. And if we don't acknowledge the reality of data, then we cannot fix the problem, which is ultimately what the racism comes from.

• 1:06:30Speaker 02

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:06:31Andy Frisella?

How the fuck do you fix a, like, how do you, how can you say, "I care about the black communities, but the, but the crime rate is something that it isn't?" Like, that's not, that's not where you start to fix problems.

• 1:06:43Speaker 02

  Well, I mean, it's, it's no

• 1:06:44Andy Frisella?

It's just like you said, waking up in the mirror, bro. The mirror don't lie.

• 1:06:47Speaker 02

We're stepping on the scale. That's what I was about to say. Like, I mean, yeah, you can call yourself skinny all you want, or you're, you're, you're healthy, or you're, step on that

• 1:06:53Andy Frisella?

I think, I think people are waking up to it, though.

• 1:06:56Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:06:56Andy Frisella?

I mean, I think people are realizing, like,

• 1:06:58Speaker 02

  Well, for sure.

• 1:06:59Andy Frisella?

Because I saw the polling for this Trump shit.

• 1:07:01Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:07:01Andy Frisella?

And when it first started happening, I was like, dude, they're gonna go crazy because they're gonna say he's enacting martial law and he's, he's being tyrannical and this and that. And then, you know, what we saw in the media was, you know, both sides of the media were like, "Hey, I think it's a good idea that we maybe clean this shit up."

• 1:07:19Speaker 02

Mm-hmm. Well, that's the thing, because you can't tell us if violent crime is at all time low when I can't walk down my street and go to dinner.

• 1:07:26Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:07:26Speaker 02

Like, these two things, it can't be a square circle. Like, how, like, they don't make sense. You know what I'm saying? It's just like, I'm seeing this with my own eyes and you're telling me that it's this. It doesn't work. Doesn't work, man. Let's see what the chat got on this.

• 1:07:41Speaker 02

Math is racist, brosive. That's real. Um, Julian Michaels

• 1:07:44Andy Frisella?

Yeah, you gotta keep the chaos so structure isn't allowed to form. Correct.

• 1:07:48Speaker 02

That's real. That's real. Yeah, man, like I said, this DC situation

• 1:07:53Andy Frisella?

Yeah, Julian Michaels did call them out on CNN, saying that they were blaming everything on, on white people.

• 1:07:59Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:07:59Andy Frisella?

And then saying that fucking, you know, for years, they've been demonizing white people for everything.

• 1:08:05Speaker 02

  Yeah. Yeah.

• 1:08:06Andy Frisella?

Well, it is, it is white people.

• 1:08:08Speaker 02

  I mean,

• 1:08:09Andy Frisella?

  It's the white devil.

• 1:08:10Speaker 02

I think we all know that.

• 1:08:11Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:08:11Speaker 02

Yeah. It's, it's a real thing, man. So we'll, we'll keep, keep you guys up to date with, uh, what's happening in DC. Uh, we'll stay on the, uh, stay on the temp gauge there. But yeah, let's, uh, let us know down in the comments what you guys think. Uh, with that being said, let's go crew some of these comments. We've got a couple of them here. Uh, this first comment comes from Funky Moose Chops.

• 1:08:33Speaker 02

He says ironically enough DJ did shout out the best mayonnaise brand Duke's been given my family heart problems since the 50s.

• 1:08:43Andy Frisella?

  You like mayonnaise, bro?

• 1:08:44Speaker 01

  Me, no.

• 1:08:45Andy Frisella?

Yeah, me neither. See that winners don't fucking eat mayonnaise.

• 1:08:48Speaker 02

  Is that what it is?

• 1:08:54Speaker 01

  I've never, I've never.

• 1:08:55Andy Frisella?

  Shit's nasty, isn't it?

• 1:08:57Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 1:08:57Speaker 02

Potato salad, you've had potato salad.

• 1:08:59Andy Frisella?

It's like curdled milk in a fucking gelatin form. It's disgusting.

• 1:09:03Speaker 01

  I don't, I don't underst- I don't understand it.

• 1:09:07Speaker 02

Man, somebody said, somebody said mayonnaise makes your butt leak.

• 1:09:10Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, well, I wouldn't know because I'm not a loser. I don't eat it.

• 1:09:15Speaker 02

Alright, that's cool. Um, next one is Ross Madden. He says, uh, uh, doing the show live is pretty sick. What if DJ shows up late?

• 1:09:28Speaker 01

DJ ain't gonna show up late.

• 1:09:29Speaker 02

  That's right.

• 1:09:30Speaker 01

  That's it.

• 1:09:32Andy Frisella?

Well, Andy will probably show up.

• 1:09:36Speaker 01

That's what I said. I, I, I didn't say AF will show up later. I said DJ will show up late. Alright, that the question.

• 1:09:45Andy Frisella?

AF runs on his own time.

• 1:09:47Speaker 01

We're asking his, we're asking his schedule.

• 1:09:49Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:09:49Speaker 01

  Alright.

• 1:09:50Andy Frisella?

  Well, you're in DJ.

• 1:09:51Speaker 02

Thank you. Yeah. Glad we have that. We'll keep that.

• 1:09:54Speaker 01

We, we know that we're all to be seated.

• 1:09:59Speaker 01

  And when Andrew walks in.

• 1:10:03Andy Frisella?

  That's when it starts.

• 1:10:04Speaker 02

  That's what it's like.

• 1:10:05Speaker 01

No, hey, listen, if you but on.

• 1:10:07Andy Frisella?

I'm trying it, man. This is a hobby.

• 1:10:11Andy Frisella?

You know what I'm saying? Like I got a job to do.

• 1:10:13Speaker 02

  Right outside those walls.

• 1:10:15Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:10:16Speaker 02

It's all good. It's all good. Yeah, we got another one. Fault line.

• 1:10:19Andy Frisella?

What do you guys say? I know you guys have some fucking shit you say.

• 1:10:22Speaker 02

  Who?

• 1:10:22Andy Frisella?

Like when I say it's gonna be three, what do you say?

• 1:10:26Andy Frisella?

Is that what it is? 3:30? So it's 30 minutes, Grace? Alright. That's fair. That's fair.

• 1:10:31Speaker 01

Listen, if he says 3, as long as the first number is 3. If it's 359.

• 1:10:37Andy Frisella?

  That's fucking 3.

• 1:10:39Speaker 01

  59, it's 3.

• 1:10:40Andy Frisella?

That is 3. It is. That's accurate. That's black people's time. No. It says fucking 3.

• 1:10:46Speaker 01

That's it. He didn't say 3 on the dot. He said 3.

• 1:10:50Andy Frisella?

3, 3, and then it says something.

• 1:10:51Speaker 01

  It's some, some.

• 1:10:55Speaker 02

That's right. We got another one. Fault Line King. This was a Spotify comment two days ago. He says, solid eight months of bugging the hell out of the local gas station. I'm pleased to say we now have every flavor of Form Energy Drinks. That orange is the tits.

• 1:11:10Andy Frisella?

  Now, orange is definitely good.

• 1:11:12Speaker 02

  Orange is pretty good.

• 1:11:13Andy Frisella?

What's your favorite? We already know your... What's your second favorite?

• 1:11:18Speaker 02

  That's not fair.

• 1:11:19Andy Frisella?

What's your favorite, Dan? What's the favorite, DJ?

• 1:11:22Speaker 02

  Great.

• 1:11:23Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, see?

• 1:11:25Speaker 01

Hey, man, you wrong for that.

• 1:11:28Andy Frisella?

I mean, you know, I knew what it was. What's second favorite, though, for real?

• 1:11:33Speaker 02

  Second favorite, uh, Screaming Freedom.

• 1:11:36Andy Frisella?

Bro, I don't know how people can't say Screaming is number one. Like, it's, to me, it's a lot better than the rest.

• 1:11:42Speaker 02

  Yeah, I mean, it's good.

• 1:11:43Andy Frisella?

What do they call, what is this flavor, anyway?

• 1:11:45Speaker 02

  Screaming Freedom.

• 1:11:46Andy Frisella?

I know. It's cherry... Oh, fuck, can't read it.

• 1:11:51Speaker 02

  Oh, shit.

• 1:11:52Andy Frisella?

I'm gonna have to get some peepers, bro.

• 1:11:53Speaker 02

  Toss him, Tim.

• 1:11:57Andy Frisella?

I can't toss him because I take him off. I can't see him.

• 1:12:02Speaker 02

He ain't gonna be able to catch it, apparently, so.

• 1:12:04Andy Frisella?

  Cherry lemon blueberry.

• 1:12:07Speaker 02

  Hey, man.

• 1:12:08Andy Frisella?

  With eagle blood.

• 1:12:09Speaker 01

  Extend it out farther.

• 1:12:11Andy Frisella?

Dude, that just started for me. My cousin, who's my optometrist, Dan, he's like, once you turn 40, you're gonna have to get him. And it's been like, I'm holding off. But now it's like getting to the point where you're like, I can really tell.

• 1:12:25Speaker 02

  Yeah, man.

• 1:12:26Andy Frisella?

  You'll get there.

• 1:12:27Speaker 02

  Fine wine, baby.

• 1:12:28Andy Frisella?

  Yep.

• 1:12:28Speaker 02

That's what it is. Uh, last one, I decided to bring an OG comment in.

• 1:12:31Andy Frisella?

By the way, thank you for that, dude. Appreciate you guys that are demanding for, uh, these places to carry it. They're gonna be carrying it soon anyway because we're selling way more than we ever thought we would.

• 1:12:41Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:12:41Andy Frisella?

  Thanks to you guys.

• 1:12:42Speaker 02

Great, great, great problems to have, man. Um, and then with, uh, Tim on the show, I have a comment from the last time you were on the show. Um, this was two years ago.

• 1:12:51Andy Frisella?

  So.

• 1:12:51Speaker 02

Um, from WB Willie. Uh, thank you, Tim Grover. I read the entire book after learning about it on this podcast and it truly, uh, it is truly amazing work. After reading it all the way through, I'm going to read it again because this work is so far above my understanding of greatness that I feel like I couldn't completely comprehend everything. I know in order to do this right, I need to know everything or else I've got holes in my boat. Very grateful for all this valuable stuff.

• 1:13:20Andy Frisella?

That's one thing about your book, Relentless, bro, is you have to read it multiple times and depending, dude, I think it's one of the most brilliant books ever written, real talk. And the reason I believe that is because dude, ever, I read it about once a year, you know that?

• 1:13:34Speaker 01

  Yes, I do.

• 1:13:35Andy Frisella?

And every time I'm in a different place, bro, it means something different. It's a fucking work of art.

• 1:13:41Speaker 01

Yes, it means something different depending on where you are in your journey, where you are in your life. What, what, what's, what's, what's going on? And you know what I always say? Relentless is about the mindset. Winning is about the journey that very few will take and how to use that mindset in it. So, cause it, it's, people can get, I have the, I have the mindset. Okay, you have, if you say you have the mindset, now let's see you put it to work. And let's see, let's see you win. And it's exactly what you said. Those words and those books mean different things to you in different stages of your life.

• 1:14:22Speaker 01

Different places in your journey, where you are at, where you are as an, as an individual. I, I know you do, you do a lot, you do a lot of reading, you do a lot of reading. But what you do is you always go back, like you said, you read that book once a year. You go back to your, you go back to your foundation. It's not about how much you read, it's about how much you retain and what you do with that information. You know, I used to tell, Kobe and I always had this, he, knowledge, everyone says knowledge is power, you know? Knowledge, knowledge, and knowledge is power, but only if you act on it. If you put it to use. That's where the power, that's where the power is.

• 1:15:05Speaker 01

That's what this podcast does. It gives you the knowledge.

• 1:15:11Andy Frisella?

To get on the domestic terrorists list. That's right. That's right.

• 1:15:16Speaker 02

Have fun with your flight back home, Tim.

• 1:15:21Andy Frisella?

What are you doing in St. Louis? Oh, Andy? I need you to bend over, sir.

• 1:15:29Speaker 02

• 1:15:50Speaker 02

There's a handshake we gotta do. We'll send our people. And, yeah, we'll check into it.

• 1:15:57Andy Frisella?

That's cool, man. Seen that young dude?

• 1:15:59Speaker 01

  Yes, it is.

• 1:16:00Andy Frisella?

  Doing it.

• 1:16:01Speaker 02

  It's always good, man.

• 1:16:02Speaker 01

• 1:16:33Speaker 02

That's real. That's real. Let's keep cruising, shall we? I thought for headline number two, you know, I thought we'd do a little something different with you guys. I have a brand new segment for you guys. Let's lose some brain cells. Tim Grover.

• 1:16:50Andy Frisella?

  Lose some brain cells?

• 1:16:52Speaker 02

  That's about it, right?

• 1:16:53Andy Frisella?

I don't think all that should belong on the screen at the same time, man.

• 1:16:56Speaker 02

That's what, I mean, like, we're gonna lose some, listen, there's no doubt, we're, we, everybody in this room.

• 1:17:01Andy Frisella?

  Tim might kill you, bro.

• 1:17:04Speaker 02

We're about to lose some brain cells.

• 1:17:05Andy Frisella?

Yeah, we're about to lose something.

• 1:17:07Speaker 02

Just, just, just putting it out there, right? We got, I got some clips. This is from the official DJ's.

• 1:17:13Andy Frisella?

  You're gonna lose your job.

• 1:17:14Speaker 02

Yeah. No, this is from DJ's.

• 1:17:17Speaker 01

Well, you know, I'm a big, I'm a big person talking about, before you can add, you gotta delete.

• 1:17:26Speaker 02

Well, this, this is, I got some videos here that are straight from DJ's algorithm, okay? So buckle up, alright? And, uh, let's just see how this goes.

• 1:17:37Andy Frisella?

This should be called, "The Next 20 Minutes of Racism."

• 1:17:41Speaker 02

  No.

• 1:17:42Andy Frisella?

If it comes from your algorithm.

• 1:17:43Speaker 02

I can't tell you, I don't know what's, I think I gotta get a new phone. Because my algorithm, bro, is, is wild. So, yeah, let's just lose some brain cells together. Check this out.

• 1:18:10Speaker 02

  Alright, how we feeling?

• 1:18:14Andy Frisella?

Did it work? You lose some?

• 1:18:16Speaker 01

  I, I did.

• 1:18:17Speaker 02

I feel like they're about to get pissed.

• 1:18:21Speaker 01

  You know what?

• 1:18:23Speaker 01

I gotta, I gotta admit. I know him.

• 1:18:31Andy Frisella?

  Oh, man.

• 1:18:33Speaker 02

  Alright.

• 1:18:33Andy Frisella?

  What the?

• 1:18:34Speaker 02

  Uh, yep.

• 1:18:35Andy Frisella?

  Come on.

• 1:18:36Speaker 02

  Everybody good? We good?

• 1:18:37Speaker 01

  I don't, and listen.

• 1:18:38Andy Frisella?

  I think it worked.

• 1:18:40Speaker 02

Oh, we're not done yet. I got more. I got more.

• 1:18:43Speaker 01

The only thing I can relate to that picture is I might've had that jacket at some point.

• 1:18:49Andy Frisella?

Nah, I think it looks like your old jacket. It looks about your size. That guy in the little coat.

• 1:18:55Speaker 02

Alright, well, it gets way worse, so, uh...

• 1:18:58Andy Frisella?

Yeah, what, what is, what is going on?

• 1:19:00Speaker 02

I don't know. You know, sometimes I choose not to ask questions. You know, and just let things be what they are. It is what it is.

• 1:19:07Andy Frisella?

That guy moved into his first apartment ever. And decided, he's like, "You know what I'm gonna do now that I'm here?"

• 1:19:13Speaker 01

I'm gonna upload the baddest video ever made.

• 1:19:15Andy Frisella?

I'm gonna let people see the real me.

• 1:19:19Speaker 02

That's right. Alright, let's keep, uh, let's keep moving. We got another one. Here we go.

• 1:19:38Andy Frisella?

Is that one of your clients?

• 1:19:40Speaker 01

  Right the agility.

• 1:19:43Speaker 01

  Actually,

• 1:19:46Speaker 01

I think the gymnasium in first form.

• 1:19:51Andy Frisella?

I know you can host such an event.

• 1:19:52Speaker 01

You can host them, you know what, people actually pay for that. Oh, yeah. I would pay to see that shit.

• 1:20:00Speaker 01

They, they, I, listen, I... You got nothing?

• 1:20:05Speaker 01

I think the person next, uh, that gentleman, it might be a lady.

• 1:20:14Speaker 01

People have, you know, some people, people are into things, man. If you have nothing to say, nice. People, people, people are into thi- pe- listen, if they're happy and they're not hurting anybody, that's their, listen, I don't understand it. It's not for me to, it's not for me to understand. Mm-hmm. But...

• 1:20:33Andy Frisella?

  That looks like a lady.

• 1:20:38Speaker 01

I got more. Listen, we got, we got some good ones here. All right, let's check this next one out.

• 1:20:46Speaker 01

And DJ wants to know why his algorithm is all fucked up.

• 1:20:51Speaker 01

  All right, here we go.

• 1:21:32Speaker 01

She's in great shape. To be able to do all that. Be able to balance on a branch, barefoot, go from...

• 1:21:38Speaker 02

I feel like that's the final boss of like, white liberal women.

• 1:21:41Speaker 01

  That's like...

• 1:21:41Andy Frisella?

  Oh yeah.

• 1:21:42Speaker 02

  You know what I'm saying?

• 1:21:43Andy Frisella?

  She's the captain.

• 1:21:44Speaker 02

  That's like it.

• 1:21:46Andy Frisella?

She's about to let out a scream.

• 1:21:48Speaker 02

She really... That's the ultimate form. Bro, that's it.

• 1:21:51Andy Frisella?

  Zishan, what do you think?

• 1:21:53Speaker 03

  Lead hard.

• 1:21:59Andy Frisella?

That's not what I was asking.

• 1:22:02Speaker 02

Oh, I got two more. Okay, we're almost done here with this segment, I promise.

• 1:22:06Andy Frisella?

  See, I'm...

• 1:22:06Speaker 02

  This is my...

• 1:22:07Andy Frisella?

We're over here trying to explain to people...

• 1:22:09Speaker 02

  Winning.

• 1:22:09Andy Frisella?

  How to win and do...

• 1:22:11Speaker 01

  But...

• 1:22:12Andy Frisella?

Some people just on a different, a different thing, man.

• 1:22:14Speaker 01

But you know what? Here's what the crazy part... To these people...

• 1:22:18Andy Frisella?

  That's their win.

• 1:22:19Speaker 01

  That is their win.

• 1:22:20Andy Frisella?

I know. How the fuck do you come up with something like this?

• 1:22:24Speaker 02

  I don't...

• 1:22:28Speaker 01

You know what? It's those people don't understand us.

• 1:22:33Andy Frisella?

Well, it's like Kobe said, I don't want to understand that.

• 1:22:35Speaker 01

We don't want... Yeah. We don't, you know, I, I just... But that's, that's their, that's their win. Like you said, the guy, the first one we saw, that might be his first apartment, that's a, that's a huge, that's a huge win.

• 1:22:46Andy Frisella?

He celebrated with a costume party.

• 1:22:48Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:22:48Andy Frisella?

  There you go.

• 1:22:49Speaker 01

  Right.

• 1:22:49Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:22:49Speaker 01

  And he had his friends.

• 1:22:51Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:22:51Speaker 01

  Oh. Well, it's...

• 1:22:56Speaker 01

  Well...

• 1:22:57Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:22:58Speaker 01

And the cra... And the cra... Okay, but hey, hey... You know what, you know what the huge wins are? You know what the huge wins are? Alright? They made it onto one of the world's top rated podcasts.

• 1:23:11Speaker 02

They don't know it yet. No, they don't know it yet!

• 1:23:15Andy Frisella?

  They'll find out tomorrow!

• 1:23:21Speaker 02

  They don't know yet.

• 1:23:23Speaker 01

One of them's gonna co... One of them's gonna combat Benson. Yeah. DJ, yes! I've been at this for five years.

• 1:23:31Speaker 02

  Hey, man.

• 1:23:32Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:23:32Speaker 02

Hey, you know? I, I got, I, here's some winning. I got, I got... Another one?

• 1:23:36Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:23:37Speaker 02

Okay, this is, um, okay, POV. You're at your son's, uh, basketball game. He makes a free throw and he does this.

• 1:23:54Andy Frisella?

I mean, you would do that.

• 1:23:57Andy Frisella?

You're the one that comes in here and talks about how you can do the splits and shit.

• 1:24:00Speaker 02

I can do a split, but...

• 1:24:02Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:24:02Speaker 01

  Well, you can?

• 1:24:03Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:24:03Speaker 01

  Right there, let's go.

• 1:24:04Speaker 02

  Nah, I'm alright. My pants.

• 1:24:06Speaker 01

  Take them off.

• 1:24:09Speaker 01

You got drawers on, let's go.

• 1:24:12Speaker 02

I don't think ever in my life I would have ever imagined Tim Grover would tell me to take my pants off.

• 1:24:16Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:24:17Speaker 01

You said he could do this.

• 1:24:18Speaker 02

  I can't, I can't. It's verified.

• 1:24:20Speaker 01

  But verified by who? No.

• 1:24:23Speaker 02

  Joe?

• 1:24:24Speaker 01

  No.

• 1:24:25Andy Frisella?

  Did he really do it?

• 1:24:26Speaker 01

  Huh?

• 1:24:26Andy Frisella?

  No. Sort of.

• 1:24:30Andy Frisella?

It was half-assed. It was acceptable in the diabetes gang, though, right?

• 1:24:34Speaker 01

  Sounds like you've been caught.

• 1:24:36Andy Frisella?

It was diabetes gang initiation, doing a half-split with an ice cream cone.

• 1:24:43Speaker 02

  That's good.

• 1:24:44Andy Frisella?

What would we do if... I thought that was a pretty respectable celebration.

• 1:24:51Speaker 01

  It's a free throw.

• 1:24:52Andy Frisella?

  I would say...

• 1:24:54Andy Frisella?

I would say, I would say, don't do that in public ever again.

• 1:24:58Speaker 01

No. It's a free throw and, like, literally, the coach and the... This is where... I, okay, I have a har- hard time with...

• 1:25:10Andy Frisella?

Why are you cheering for that bullshit?

• 1:25:14Speaker 02

I told you all they were three-pointers.

• 1:25:15Andy Frisella?

  That's fucking seven.

• 1:25:17Speaker 01

Who's the coach? Who's the coach? The parents, what do you, what do you, what do you think? It's a team sport. It's a team, it's a team sport, alright? Winning requires a team effort. Why is people so... And this is why are people so...

• 1:25:38Speaker 01

You know, I didn't think about the word, but just like, about making it their moment instead of making it about everybody else's moment. And you're included, you're included, you're included in that moment.

• 1:25:51Andy Frisella?

  You know where that starts.

• 1:25:52Speaker 01

  I know.

• 1:25:53Andy Frisella?

Yeah. It starts with dudes running off the field, taking their shirts off and their shoulder pads and fucking acting like assholes. And kids see it and they're like, "Oh, I'm gonna do that."

• 1:26:04Speaker 01

I had, um, go off track a little bit. I literally had somebody tell me about a, um...

• 1:26:12Speaker 01

A professional football player and said that been in the been in the league for a while. And he said, the only time that he's ever been confronted by the coach where the coach was his first year in the league was after that, he goes, everything just and he wants to learn.

• 1:26:36Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:26:36Speaker 01

And he, he, he wants to be learned. He wants to be coached. He wants to be disciplined. He wants to do the things he want. He wants to get better. He goes. Once.

• 1:26:46Andy Frisella?

Well, I mean, there's another side of that. The other side is you're expected to be fucking great on your own.

• 1:26:54Speaker 01

  No.

• 1:26:54Andy Frisella?

You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, I'm here to coach you and make you better, but the onus is on you.

• 1:27:01Speaker 02

That's always, I've always wondered about that, like, because obviously, like, literally going to middle school, high school, right? Like, there's coaching, like, you're, you're really being coached.

• 1:27:09Speaker 01

The best of the best, you at, you talk to Tom Brady, talk to Michael. Obviously, we can't talk to Kobe anymore. But you look at these individuals and you look at their past coaches and they always ask you, what's the common denominator among the greats? And they all would say they were very coachable. They, they take the information, they, and you're putting out information here. Okay, you are literally these for millions of people, you're their, you are their coach. You're, you're literally giving them direction now, what they do with that direction. Now, that's not the only direction they get, but

• 1:27:54Speaker 01

they're coming in here to be, to be coached, to become educated, to become, to become better. They've opened up their minds, they've opened up their hearts, they've opened up their souls to be like, hey, listen, I genuinely want to get better. I'm going to hold myself, I'm going to hold myself accountable, you know? And it's just like, well, how do you, how do you prove people wrong? How do you prove yourself right? By improving. By improving. And that's what these, that's what these, that's what these individuals want to do. The one thing, the best of the best, you're coachable.

• 1:28:30Andy Frisella?

Yeah, because I realize I'm a fucking idiot.

• 1:28:32Speaker 01

Yeah. You, you, you, you can't, you can't build what you guys have built.

• 1:28:39Speaker 01

  You know, not

• 1:28:40Andy Frisella?

I feel like an idiot, like most of the time I feel stupid. And I think.

• 1:28:46Andy Frisella?

  I think that's a common.

• 1:28:49Andy Frisella?

Trait amongst high achievers when they're in the mode. Of building. When now, when they, when I walk out and gotta do my thing.

• 1:28:59Speaker 01

  Do your thing.

• 1:28:59Andy Frisella?

Yeah, I'm not thinking I'm an idiot.

• 1:29:01Speaker 01

  No.

• 1:29:01Andy Frisella?

I'm thinking like, dude, I'm gonna fucking crush you.

• 1:29:04Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:29:05Andy Frisella?

You know, but the rest of the time I'm like, all right, how do I get better? What's the problem? Where am I weak? What do I gotta do? What do I need to learn? How do I need to get better at this skill? You know what I mean?

• 1:29:16Speaker 01

  And you get that information.

• 1:29:17Andy Frisella?

  It's a, it's a dichotomy.

• 1:29:19Speaker 01

  Right.

• 1:29:20Andy Frisella?

That most people can't really understand or see. Because all they see is the performance.

• 1:29:25Speaker 01

  Yep.

• 1:29:26Andy Frisella?

Like they see somebody like, let's take Conor McGregor, for example.

• 1:29:30Andy Frisella?

People would say Conor McGregor is not humble. And I would argue that you are wrong. And I'll tell you why. Because for him to get to the level that he is, he had to learn a whole bunch of shit. And to learn a bunch of shit and become. Great. You have to be coachable, which means you have to be humble. All right. So what you see as the product doesn't mean that that person is not humble. And I believe that this is a big disconnect between. The average person and how they look at high achievement. They see someone. Who is passionate, excited and understands, by the way, how to be a character in a product, which is part of his job.

• 1:30:14Speaker 01

  Yes, it is.

• 1:30:15Andy Frisella?

And they see it and they say.

• 1:30:16Speaker 01

  And nobody does it better.

• 1:30:17Andy Frisella?

No, he's great at it. And by the way, that's why he's been paid so well. Because he understands I am a character. This is part of my job. And he couldn't have got, he couldn't have even got that good at talking shit without learning from someone how to do it.

• 1:30:34Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:30:35Andy Frisella?

So I would argue that. Most of the people that people say that person is not humble because they're successful and they forgot where they. Actually, some of the most humble people because they're coachable behind closed doors.

• 1:30:48Speaker 01

  Now.

• 1:30:51Speaker 01

I've met him. I know him personally.

• 1:30:55Speaker 01

  We've done some work together.

• 1:30:59Speaker 01

One of the most giving individuals you'll ever meet.

• 1:31:03Speaker 01

But he doesn't publicize it all the time.

• 1:31:07Speaker 01

You know, you know, other individuals that every time they give they it it it's for them.

• 1:31:12Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:31:12Speaker 01

It's for their moment. It's not for those. I'm telling you, listen, is he perfect? No, none of us are, none of us are, none of us are perfect. But one of the things he did tell me. He goes. I won, but nobody. Told me.

• 1:31:32Speaker 01

What was coming along with winning?

• 1:31:37Speaker 01

We, we started this podcast with.

• 1:31:42Speaker 02

  Yeah. That's real, man.

• 1:31:44Andy Frisella?

He's got it figured out, bro.

• 1:31:46Speaker 02

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:31:46Andy Frisella?

He's the only dude in the world that could put his fucking dick on the internet for the whole world to see and no one gives a fuck.

• 1:31:51Speaker 02

  And still be okay.

• 1:31:54Speaker 02

I actually had one of those videos.

• 1:31:55Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:31:56Speaker 02

I'm like, I really won't go with it. But yeah, um, yeah, we lost some brain cells.

• 1:31:59Speaker 01

Again, that's why you have a rhythm on your phone.

• 1:32:05Speaker 02

I sent him, see, the trick is I send them to other people too. So I mess up their algorithms.

• 1:32:09Andy Frisella?

Oh, my algorithm is certainly messed.

• 1:32:11Speaker 02

Oh, don't give me that. No, you send me the.

• 1:32:13Andy Frisella?

Motherfucker. That's because you sent it to me.

• 1:32:18Andy Frisella?

Then I see them in the algorithm and then I'm like, oh, you get my like this. It came from him.

• 1:32:22Speaker 02

I sent Andy stuff. He's like, I already seen this.

• 1:32:25Andy Frisella?

That's true. I did get the weirdest suggestion in the world yesterday. And it was this post of this whale jumping out of the water with like a boner. And I'm, and it said suggested for you.

• 1:32:39Andy Frisella?

And I'm like, is this where the fuck we're at now? I'm getting suggested whale boner pits.

• 1:32:44Speaker 02

  That's right. That's right.

• 1:32:45Andy Frisella?

  Like. Okay.

• 1:32:48Speaker 02

  Good day to be alive.

• 1:32:48Andy Frisella?

I definitely did laugh when I saw it.

• 1:32:51Speaker 01

And we all have to laugh.

• 1:32:52Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:32:52Speaker 02

  Got to.

• 1:32:53Andy Frisella?

I definitely laughed. But I was curious.

• 1:32:55Speaker 01

We all, we all, we all, we all have to, we all have to laugh.

• 1:32:58Andy Frisella?

I'm going to ask Zuckerberg when I meet him.

• 1:33:00Speaker 02

  Who suggested this?

• 1:33:01Andy Frisella?

Why do you think that I want to see an orca's penis? What's wrong with you?

• 1:33:06Speaker 02

  Whale boner fetishes.

• 1:33:07Andy Frisella?

  Send me more.

• 1:33:08Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:33:09Andy Frisella?

  All right.

• 1:33:09Speaker 02

But yeah, all right. Appreciate it. I hope you guys like that. Let's, uh, let's keep the cruise moving. We got one last headline here. We got a headline number three. Um, let's go to the sports arena. This is a topic we've, we've covered a few times on the show. Um, cause it's, it's a new topic.

• 1:33:24Speaker 01

By the way, just, I'm, if you've never seen Andrew in a suit.

• 1:33:29Speaker 02

  That's a good looking dude.

• 1:33:31Speaker 01

  I'm telling you.

• 1:33:32Andy Frisella?

I say we all look pretty good in suits.

• 1:33:33Speaker 01

  That's, yeah.

• 1:33:35Andy Frisella?

Nobody does it like you though, bro.

• 1:33:39Speaker 02

Tim G's got the suit game.

• 1:33:41Speaker 01

  I, I, I have a, I have an agent and a personal stylist.

• 1:33:45Andy Frisella?

  That person.

• 1:33:45Speaker 01

  They're the same.

• 1:33:46Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:33:49Andy Frisella?

  Take care of this guy.

• 1:33:52Speaker 02

Oh yeah. Let's get to our third and final headline, guys. Headline number three, headline number three reads, three WNBA players ejected after fiery.

• 1:34:00Speaker 01

  I just saw this today.

• 1:34:01Speaker 02

Suns sky scrap. Yeah, let's talk about it.

• 1:34:04Andy Frisella?

I just want to talk about the, the fever.

• 1:34:08Speaker 02

  That's it.

• 1:34:09Andy Frisella?

We only talk about the fever. That's the only team then.

• 1:34:11Speaker 02

The Suns are all right. Suns are all right. It's got, the sky is okay. They're all right.

• 1:34:15Andy Frisella?

It's Katelyn Clark and Sophie Cunningham.

• 1:34:18Speaker 02

  That's it.

• 1:34:18Andy Frisella?

  That's the fucking league.

• 1:34:19Speaker 02

That's the league. Yeah, that's true. Well, let's talk about it. Cause they've been getting, uh, this has been getting heat and it ain't got Katelyn Clark or Sonny, uh, Sophie involved. Uh, but apparently ejections now come in threes. I think that was a pun they tried to do there. Very dirty one, in my opinion.

• 1:34:36Speaker 02

A trio of WNBA players earned the boot Wednesday night following the altercation during the Suns 71 62 home win over the sky. Connecticut's Bria Harley and Chicago's Rebecca Allen each received ejections for starting the scuffle while the skies Ariel Atkins, uh, night ended early for being an escalator after shoving Hartley and touching a referee, according to the crew chief Angelia, Angelia, suffering as reported by ESPN. The situation unfolded early in the second quarter when the Suns, Sanaya Rivers and Hartley, battled, uh, Allen for a rebound, which the former corralled. Here's the clip. Let's check it out.

• 1:35:20Speaker 04

But this action right here. There's a lot happening. A lot happening. Grab my shirt. I'm feeling the ground.

• 1:35:31Speaker 05

  Tina Charles gets hit.

• 1:35:31Speaker 04

She still, she didn't hit the court though. She out of bounds.

• 1:35:37Speaker 05

Ariel Atkins says some words to Bria and she says she grabbed me first.

• 1:35:43Andy Frisella?

Man, number 10 is a big one.

• 1:35:45Speaker 02

  Pretty big.

• 1:35:46Andy Frisella?

  Damn.

• 1:35:47Speaker 02

  Pretty big.

• 1:35:47Andy Frisella?

  That's like Shaq.

• 1:35:48Speaker 01

  Grab his dick, twist it.

• 1:35:51Andy Frisella?

  Fucking Shaq Jr. out there.

• 1:35:52Speaker 02

Yeah, so we got some, we got some.

• 1:35:53Andy Frisella?

  That was it.

• 1:35:54Speaker 02

  That was it.

• 1:35:55Andy Frisella?

That was it. They got ejected for that?

• 1:35:57Speaker 02

  And there was ejections there.

• 1:35:58Andy Frisella?

  Come on.

• 1:35:59Speaker 02

  All right.

• 1:36:00Andy Frisella?

  Let the girls fight.

• 1:36:01Speaker 02

  Now, I'm just saying.

• 1:36:02Andy Frisella?

  The ratings will go up.

• 1:36:03Speaker 02

I've seen a lot worse happen with no ejections.

• 1:36:05Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, like that other thing?

• 1:36:07Speaker 02

  Like the assaults on.

• 1:36:08Andy Frisella?

  On Katelyn Clark?

• 1:36:09Speaker 02

Like Katelyn Clark. But let's talk about, let's talk about the, because I mean, again, you, you've, you've been around and, and, and got to uh, see some of the greatest in basketball ever played, right? Like, how, how much does emotions on the court, I guess? Because I mean, tempers get hot, right? Like, I get it, pushing, shoving, but like, all out brawls have been happening.

• 1:36:29Andy Frisella?

  It wasn't a brawl.

• 1:36:30Speaker 02

They, I said, they have been happening, right? Maybe not that game for sure, but I mean, what's your take on that, Tim?

• 1:36:37Speaker 01

Listen, you know, the individuals and the teams, like I said, that can control their emotions. I always say this, you know, coaches always say, man, play with emotion. Well, which emotion you want me to play with?

• 1:36:55Speaker 01

You know, and emotion, your emotion that gets you going may be different than my emotion, maybe different than Andrew's. Everybody's got the difference. So when you say, you know, huh, play, play with emotion, all right? Play with understa, play with understanding, control, control, control your emotion. Because here's the thing, as an opponent,

• 1:37:17Speaker 01

my job not only is to win the game, but also make you lose your emotion, take you out of your, take you out of your game.

• 1:37:26Speaker 01

That's why a lot of athletes talk trash to each other to see who can, you know, if I, if they can take, if they can set up shop, if they can set up shop, shop in their head. All right? Things, things are going to happen on, on the court. MJ used to always say, MJ used to always say this, he say, he goes, I know the opponent is going to do anything that they can to get me thrown out of the game. There's videos of him literally pulling his fist back.

• 1:37:56Speaker 01

And there's that last one, put it down, because he knows if he throws that punch,

• 1:38:01Speaker 01

  they won.

• 1:38:01Andy Frisella?

Hmm. Yeah, and then it's six games without him. Right.

• 1:38:06Speaker 01

  They, they.

• 1:38:06Speaker 02

Is that how long the, the ejections are?

• 1:38:08Andy Frisella?

  Could be, yeah.

• 1:38:08Speaker 01

Yeah. Well, back in, back in, back, back in that day, no. But now, right now, yeah.

• 1:38:13Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:38:13Speaker 01

You throw, you throw, you throw a pu- you throw a punch. Listen, part of, part of winning, part of team i- i- i- is understanding what your emo- what your, what, what your emotion, what your emotion, what your emotions are, and figuring out how to control them. You know, listen, control your thoughts, you control your emotions, you control your, you can control your emotions, you're literally gonna control the outcome of the game.

• 1:38:47Andy Frisella?

I think you said on something too, that's like a big, a big thing that I think people, I probably shouldn't even say this, because most people aren't equipped to do this effectively. But the best, the best guys, the best entrepreneurs, the best business leaders, the best fucking uh athletes, they understand the game of distraction very well.

• 1:39:13Speaker 01

  Very well.

• 1:39:14Andy Frisella?

They understand that when they say certain things, or when they post certain things, or when they do certain things, they understand the, what it does to the opponent, and they're doing it intentionally. And that's something, you know, like

• 1:39:31Andy Frisella?

only like the top, top, top people understand that as part of their game.

• 1:39:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:39:36Andy Frisella?

  You know what I mean?

• 1:39:38Speaker 01

Yeah. Attack them physically, attack them mentally, that's your point, yeah. That's, it's what it, listen.

• 1:39:43Andy Frisella?

When you find out, like, dude, when I find out that something annoys somebody that I want to beat, I will annoy the fuck out of them.

• 1:39:51Speaker 01

That's what you're supposed to do.

• 1:39:52Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:39:53Speaker 01

That, that, that, that, that's what you, that's what, that's what you're supposed to do. The only time someone can get into your head is when you're not there.

• 1:40:01Andy Frisella?

Dude, one of the best ways in today's world to beat your competition is legitimately to make them fucking hate you so bad that they can't concentrate on what the fuck they do.

• 1:40:11Speaker 01

  What they're doing.

• 1:40:11Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:40:12Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:40:13Speaker 02

Yeah. Should that have been an ejection? Should that have been in the direction?

• 1:40:18Speaker 01

  No.

• 1:40:19Andy Frisella?

Bro, listen, if the WNBA wants to up viewership, fucking fight.

• 1:40:24Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 1:40:24Andy Frisella?

I'm, I'm being dead serious, dude. Like, y'all can't fucking make all the buckets. So, like, you know, you can't dunk, you know, like, some of you can, but, you know, and you want to get paid more money. Well, paid more money means more eyeballs watching the sport. Let them rip.

• 1:40:43Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:40:43Andy Frisella?

Throw some blows. The biggest thing to happen in the NBA, WNBA this year was Sophie Cunningham fucking sticking up for

• 1:40:49Speaker 02

  Caitlin Clark.

• 1:40:50Andy Frisella?

Caitlin Clark. And dude, what was that? That was physicality. You know what I'm saying?

• 1:40:54Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:40:55Andy Frisella?

Physicality works for eyeballs. I'd be watching more games if there was more fights.

• 1:41:01Speaker 02

  Would you though?

• 1:41:03Andy Frisella?

  I'd watch a game.

• 1:41:04Speaker 02

  I'd watch one more game.

• 1:41:06Andy Frisella?

  That's more than zero.

• 1:41:09Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, man. I don't, I think I, I think I, what, you know, it's fucking true.

• 1:41:15Speaker 01

Listen, I will give the WNBA some, from a skill standpoint.

• 1:41:20Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:41:22Speaker 01

  They're amazing.

• 1:41:23Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:41:23Speaker 01

  Like.

• 1:41:23Andy Frisella?

  Dribbling, passing.

• 1:41:25Speaker 01

Footwork, the footwork, passing, it, it's absolutely, if you are a young

• 1:41:33Speaker 01

  basketball player,

• 1:41:36Speaker 01

and you want to learn footwork, moving without the ball, being able to dribble, coming off of screens, shooting, all this, all this other stuff, watch the WNBA, watch.

• 1:41:50Andy Frisella?

That's a fair statement. They're technically better players.

• 1:41:54Speaker 01

Unbut, yes. Yeah. And there are some NBA players that will admit, that say, listen, I watch them religiously to watch how they, you know, their footwork, because, you know, obviously, they're not as, they're not as athletic as all NBA players. Some WNBA players are more athletic than some of the NBA, NBA players. So their skill set has to be better.

• 1:42:20Andy Frisella?

  Bro.

• 1:42:20Speaker 01

It just has to be better.

• 1:42:23Andy Frisella?

We talk a lot of shit because it's funny games and jokes, okay? But here's the tru, this is the truth. All right?

• 1:42:32Andy Frisella?

It may not be as exciting to watch and the reason it's not as exciting to watch is because we don't recognize the names. All right. They're not there. But the main reason is because the game of men's basketball has evolved to like, people don't appreciate the fundamentals anymore. They want to see the amazing shit. They want to see a dude jump from the free, well, Michael started it, from the free throw line to the fucking, you know, hoop. They want to see all that shit. And they want to see like dudes just dunking right on top of each other and just, and you can't get that in the WNBA. And so people will say, well, it's not as exciting to watch. But if you, and it isn't because of that. That's the reality. But the

• 1:43:13Andy Frisella?

framework of what's considered good basketball has changed over the last 30 years. So, women aren't capable of doing that part of the game, which it's then considered to be inferior basketball. But I can tell you this, dude. I went to Southwest Missouri State before it was Missouri State. And there was a girl there, and you're gonna know who it is, Jackie Stiles, who was the greatest athlete that I've ever seen personally in my life. And I've never seen anybody work harder either. I've never seen somebody work harder or be better than her at her thing. And, you know, Katelyn Clark just passed her up on the sport. But like dude, she would practice with the men, and we had a sweet 16 men's team then.

• 1:43:56Andy Frisella?

She would practice with the men. The men could not fucking touch her, dude. So, there's a lot of truth to that. But, at the end of the day, eyeballs equal paychecks, and they're not getting them, and they gotta figure out a way to get them.

• 1:44:09Speaker 02

That's real, man. Guys jumping on this.

• 1:44:10Andy Frisella?

  It's a fight.

• 1:44:11Speaker 02

  It's a fight.

• 1:44:12Speaker 01

It's, you go back to the thing that DJ had pulled up about the kid doing the splits.

• 1:44:19Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:44:21Speaker 01

We don't know if they won the game, if they lost the game, but that's, you know, people watch it because of the, because of the, because of the, because of the eyeball. That's what social media, social media does. You know, it's just like, everybody posts that one, one play that everybody goes, ooh, they want that, they want that aha moment.

• 1:44:42Speaker 01

Alright, instead of the end, instead of the end result. You can have the aha moment and have the end result. But most people, well, they stop at the aha moment.

• 1:44:51Speaker 02

Mm-hmm. That's real, man. Guys, jump in on this conversation. Let us know down in the comments what you guys think. With that being said, let's get to our last, final segment of the show, guys. As always, we have thumbs up. We're dumb as fuck. We bring a headline in, we talk about it, we vote on it. It gets one of those two options. And so, since we got Tim Grover, who loves winning. We have Andy, who also loves winning, but you love animals. Thought we'd have a little bit of both here.

• 1:45:18Speaker 01

  Winning and animals.

• 1:45:19Speaker 02

Winning and animals, okay? So a thumbs up at dumb as fuck headline reads, "Texas Boys Heart Warming Moment With Prize Winning Goat At Animal Show Goes Viral."

• 1:45:32Speaker 01

This didn't come from like, India or anything, did it?

• 1:45:37Speaker 02

  Texas.

• 1:45:37Speaker 01

  Texas?

• 1:45:38Speaker 02

  Texas. Not, not, not India.

• 1:45:43Speaker 01

  Zee Sean?

• 1:45:43Speaker 02

Well, Zee Sean giving you some messed up licks, man. Yeah, let's dive into this, man. A bleep-taking duo, a five-year-old boy in Texas has captured hearts after he was filmed joyfully showering, uh, showering his prize-winning goat with hugs and kisses after placing fourth in a local animal show. The heartwarming video, which has garnered more than six million views on Instagram, shows Milo Garza beaming at his yellow ribbon before hugging his white and brown pet goat Teddy Bear and smothering him with love at the Capadres Cabritos Goat and Lamb Show in Kingsville on June 22nd. Let's check this clip out.

• 1:46:24Speaker 06

As we zoom in on this goat showing in Kingsville, Texas, meet five-year-old Milo Garza staring at his yellow ribbon. Just look at that face, over the moon about winning fourth place, even kissing his little goat Teddy Bear and hugging him tightly. We had to know the story behind this video.

• 1:46:43Speaker 07

  Hello, goat?

• 1:46:45Speaker 06

Milo and his mom Elizabeth telling us how it all went down. It turns out the whole Garza family loves goats.

• 1:46:52Speaker 07

We feed them and we work them and we walk them. We give them water.

• 1:47:01Speaker 06

But Milo was actually filling in for his big brother. So this was Milo's moment and he knew Teddy Bear was one special goat. Milo, if you can just tell me, what's one great thing about Teddy Bear?

• 1:47:13Speaker 07

  His legs.

• 1:47:15Speaker 06

  What about his legs?

• 1:47:17Speaker 07

  They're fat.

• 1:47:31Speaker 01

Yeah, what we got for little Milo here? You're gonna celebrate fourth like that, you fucking loser?

• 1:47:40Speaker 01

  Who are your parents?

• 1:47:44Andy Frisella?

I thought I'd get it before 10 minutes.

Find a new hobby. You ain't got it, kid. Fuck your goat.

• 1:47:57Andy Frisella?

Oh, come on, man. That's cute.

• 1:47:59Speaker 01

It's cute. It is. Listen, you look, the hard work that was put in.

• 1:48:04Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:48:05Speaker 01

The hard work, the love, the joy, the whole families, everybody's, everybody's involved in this thing. And listen, he's happy he's got, he's happy one fourth and then hopefully this drives him, you know, to get the goat or whatever it takes to move the goat up into third place, second place, first place.

• 1:48:24Andy Frisella?

What's it take, Zishan? What's it take, bro? What are the secrets?

• 1:48:34Speaker 01

Hey, it's, it's no, it's the same situation that we all had when you go lift. We all gotta work on our legs.

• 1:48:41Andy Frisella?

Yeah. Well, I love his legs. Why do you love them? Because they're fat?

• 1:48:47Speaker 01

  We all hate.

• 1:48:49Andy Frisella?

You know what kind of girls he's gonna like? He's gonna grow up going for those fucking, the ones that pay your taxes.

• 1:49:02Andy Frisella?

  Bro, that's cute, man.

• 1:49:03Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:49:04Andy Frisella?

You gotta love, look, Zishan and I talk about this all the time, dude.

• 1:49:08Speaker 01

  Goats?

• 1:49:09Andy Frisella?

  Yeah, we do.

• 1:49:12Andy Frisella?

  No, we talk about this.

• 1:49:15Andy Frisella?

God favors people that take care of animals and treat animals good. I believe that. I've seen that over and over and over again in my life. I believe that if you treat innocent creatures well, good things happen to you. I just believe it. And it's cool to see.

• 1:49:33Andy Frisella?

It's cool. I don't, I like, I like it. It's cool. Yeah, it's cool. He's happy. Loves his little goat. The goat loves him. It's all good.

• 1:49:40Speaker 01

And, and he's working. He carries them, walks them. Like you, like you said, it's a genuine thing. He, he does. He does care. The whole family cares. Like this is, this is our thing, you know, goats, goats are our thing. Listen, you started raising ducks.

• 1:49:54Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:49:55Speaker 01

You know, and, and I know.

• 1:49:56Andy Frisella?

Everybody's like, oh dude, how, how weird is, that's weird. I'm like, bro, if you were around them, you'd understand. They're like little people. They're pretty cool. Yeah, they got little personalities like dogs, dude.

• 1:50:06Speaker 01

Your wife was telling us, she's just like, yeah, they all have their own little personalities, male, female, they do the good things and yeah, it's just like you.

• 1:50:14Speaker 01

Don't. Don't vilify something you don't understand, man. If you, there, there, there's a rea, there's a reason behind it. You know, you, we all in here have lost. Now, I don't, I can't speak for these guys here, but I know you, me, Sherry, DJ, I'm sure, have lost an animal that's been like, man, that pain does not.

• 1:50:36Andy Frisella?

  No, it never goes away.

• 1:50:37Speaker 01

It, it, it, it doesn't go away. I, I, I lost. What?

• 1:50:44Speaker 01

My dog, and I, and I say this.

• 1:50:48Speaker 01

My best friend, not my, not my dog best friend. My best friend.

• 1:50:53Andy Frisella?

  Yeah.

• 1:50:55Speaker 01

  And that shit hurts.

• 1:50:56Andy Frisella?

Yeah, man. There we go. And there's nothing you could say to someone who's going through it to make it any better. It sucks. It's like, I want to say, like, I was just reading online today, one of a guy I knew lost his dog. And I wanted to, like, you can't, there's nothing you can say.

• 1:51:10Speaker 01

  There's nothing you can say.

• 1:51:11Andy Frisella?

Yeah, like, it's just like, fuck dude, that sucks. I'm sorry. Like, we all kind of know what that's like. So, but yeah, I like this. This thumbs up. Thumbs up for Milo. Yeah, this is a good little dude right here.

• 1:51:21Speaker 01

  Two thumbs.

• 1:51:22Andy Frisella?

Now go get fucking better Milo. Yeah, next time it's first place. We're eating your goat. We're gonna eat your fucking goat. Yeah, that's real. We're gonna have goat kebabs.

• 1:51:33Andy Frisella?

  Well, guys, Andy, Tim.

• 1:51:35Speaker 02

  That's all I got.

• 1:51:36Andy Frisella?

Yeah. Tim, great to see you, bro. Thank you so much for coming in, man.

• 1:51:40Speaker 01

My pleasure, man. Thank you for inviting me into your home, as always, man. I, like I said, I did a couple of videos in the locker, the locker room. It, it's just, this is not a, this is not a place. This is an experience, man. And every time you guys, I come here, the experience continues to get better and better, and I cannot say how proud I am of the whole Fercella family and everybody that, that works here. And I know the next time I come, it's gonna be even better. The next time I come, it's gonna be, it's even gonna be better. It's, you've, you guys have developed a standard here.

• 1:52:25Speaker 01

And, and I go around and check, you know, I, listen, you don't know about this place. It is fricking, one, it's beautiful and it's fricking spotless. It is spotless. I mean, it is.

• 1:52:39Andy Frisella?

Tim comes through with his white glove, man.

• 1:52:41Speaker 01

Oh, I do. Listen, I, I, I walk through the bathrooms.

• 1:52:45Andy Frisella?

I purposely don't tell people Tim's coming in, dude.

• 1:52:47Speaker 01

I, I, I look in, I look at, see how engaging employees are, everything in here. Because, you know, sometimes when you come in and you're gone for a, a, a while, everybody wants to see, has the standard been raised? Has the bar, has the bar been, has the bar been elevated? And every time I come in here, I'm never, I'm never, I'm not, I'm not, I'm never disappointed. I am never disappointed. Thank you, guys, for treating me.

• 1:53:19Speaker 01

As family, better than family, and then, like I said, I, this is, this is a whole, this is a place, a very special place for me because I've seen it from where it was to where it's gone. And I've seen.

• 1:53:39Speaker 01

The way you guys have evolved too. I've seen DJ, you've grown into this individual.

• 1:53:45Andy Frisella?

  Thanks, sir.

• 1:53:45Speaker 01

Andy, I continue to watch you, continue to watch you progress, you know, through everything, through the trial tribulations, everything goes on. And watch Sal and the, and the family and just, it's, it's a joyous occasion to watch winners continue to win.

• 1:54:04Andy Frisella?

Well, wouldn't be here without you, bro. That's real shit. That is real shit. So. All right, guys. Well, that is the show. Don't be a hoe. Share the show.
